White Tea Wild Rose by Elizabeth Arden is a Floral fragrance for women. White Tea Wild Rose was launched in 2019. White Tea Wild Rose was created by Guillaume Flavigny and Rodrigo Flores-Roux. Top notes are White Tea, Red Currant, Pear Blossom and Palmarosa; middle notes are Bulgarian Rose, Turkish Rose, Peony and Clary Sage; base notes are Musk, Mate, Amber and Tonka Bean.

WHITE TEA WILD ROSE brings the floral theme and celebrates the pleasure of a life finely crafted. It's all about simple joy and the world of private pleasures. As the brand explains, "White Tea Wild Rose captures the soft surprise of wild rose at the edge of the ocean. A rising sweetness layered on a fresh breeze. A sensual rose bouquet crowned with fresh pear blossom. Enveloping warmth and promise."

The composition highlights the white tea accord in the opening notes together with pear tree blossom, red currants, and palmarosa. The core of the composition is a rich floral, combined of Bulgarian and Turkish roses, blush peonies, and clary sage aromas. Radiant musk, mate absolute, tonka bean, and sheer amber notes form the base notes of this fragrance.

“Inspired by an enjoyable memory, when the air begins to warm up and the first rose blossoms of the season begin to bloom filling the air with a captivating aroma. To capture that stunning moment of pleasure for this creation, we pushed the atmospheric floral notes of the signature White Tea and anchored them with the noble rose essences from both Bulgaria and Turkey to create an unforgettable floral signature.” – Perfumers Guillaume Flavigny & Rodrigo Flores-Roux, describing the inspiration for White Tea Wild Rose

White Tea Wild Rose is available as 30, 50 and 100ml Eau de Toilette from March 2019.

This is a fresh floral not in a "bright" way, but in a "smelling roses during/right after a rain" way. I personally don't think it's comparable to the OG White Tea, this feels more floral versus White Tea's mostly greenery scent. I agree with a below comment that this isn't quite a "special occaison" perfume, but it's lovely for a more low-key everyday scent.

FlowerSeeker

I unashamedly love rose and I really like this! The price is reasonable too. It’s a subtle tea note with peony and fresh rose. It has a bit of a shampoo or air freshener vibe. Great for everyday wear.

So pretty,
When it first came out my love for rose had not yet taken root so I dismissed this after a cursory sniff of the tester.
Recently I received a small travel spray of this flanker and I think it's a beauty.
The rose has green and slightly spicy aspects that marry nicely with the overall profile of the fragrance.
On the whole, although I do like it and have owned it since it came out, I've always found the OG White Tea to be a tiny bit sterile and impersonal.
This rose flanker erases those deficits.
I'm going to keep my eye out for a FB of this.

Young106

I don't like the synthetic, mouth-watering red currant note. And rose is just a walking part in here. Certainly competitive on price, but not what you will expect from the reviews.

After having this for a year and revisiting it (as summer is here), I really really love this. I never thought I'd be a rose person, but this is wonderful. My boyfriend bought me a small bottle and I really have to get the 100ml. Its just a lovely inoffensive smell. I wouldn't wear it on a date or special occasion but I'd be happy to grab it on a warm day.

Green grassy rose mixed with some white floral notes and a bit of citruses. Smells nice, but very weak and rather cheap (like a body mist).

Pleasant middle of the road rose scent but the perfume doesn't last very long. For the price it works, I guess. It doesn't wow me.

Combining white tea with rose elevates the fragrance to a higher level. After finishing the original version, I will purchase it as my new sleep perfume. Although it doesn't have any significant sleep-inducing effects, but the emotional pleasure it brings is genuine.

Smell : 7.5/10 - I like it more than original white tea.
Performance : 7/10
Uniqueness : 6/10
Longevity : (Only tested it on a test paper, so I can't comment)
Sillage : (Same)
Value : 8/10 - Good value
Personal score : 7/10

This is one of those Rose scents that makes you wanna slip on a blush satin nighty.

Powdery Bulgarian Rose with Peony, very pretty scent. It projects well in the first one hour, then stays close to skin like most toilette. I still admire pleasant Rose scents because not everyone likes to be bombarded with strong scents. I'd still buy this one being a Rose lover. It's a perfect bed scent, nobody likes being bombarded with perfume when going to bed. It's just enough for bedtime. This can be used during any weather, day or night 💕

A cheaper version of Roses de Chloe. If you are looking for this Chloe (I suppose that Roses de Chloe are discontinued...), Tea Wild Rose is good choice. Of course, less lasting than Chloe, but it's worth to test.

erika.isme.98

Oh I hate how fresh and gorgeous this is because I do not want to be a rose person :( it's so TEMPTING

SaraZigova

It doesn't last

VioletDr

Some days I love love love this, some days I don’t. It smells very clean, like a creamy rose body lotion or spa+rose. Maybe would not choose this for the hottest weather and I think it smells the best outside for some reason. It’s thicker and less alcoholic compared to Chloe.

The day before my birthday, I made a quick trip to the mall to spritz some new perfumes. I went back to respray White Tea by Elizabeth Arden - and also looked at the flankers in that line.

White Tea Wild Rose has been ON MY RADAR since first trying the original White Tea by Elizabeth Arden. This is a flanker, so you already know they will be slightly tweaking the notes from one perfume to the next, this does its job as a flanker...it adds a slight twist of variety to a fairly classic line of perfumes.

I spritzed this side by side with the original White Tea - and this is slightly more mild (less sharp and less bright than the original) - it blends in more with the skin and has an alluring rose quality which is a soft romantic floral rose quality (the name "Wild Rose" seems to be over-stepping what I'm actually picking up from this perfume --- this rose doesn't smell all that wild, it is still rather tame and classic). It comes across a bit more old fashioned than the original White Tea, with slightly more of a vintage quality. It is pretty, more timid, and demure. I think that you could enjoy both White Tea and Wild Rose if you really like these type of clean fresh tea notes. They are enough similar where they share the basic White Tea DNA, with only slight variations. They could be worn as a signature perfume style, wearing them both as your mood prefers.

This perfume's silage is not huge, but it does last on the skin awhile... I would say 8 hours or so... but this moves into more of a skin scent -- you have to move your nose directly on top of the perfume zone to even know that you are wearing anything.

The more that I have tried the Elizabeth Arden White Tea line - the more that I like it.
There is a unique quality to this line which smells optimistic and upbeat (there is something in the way that this White Tea line sparkles that reminds me a little bit of White Linen by Estee Lauder, which I have liked, but have never worn) - this comes across as a softer variety of perfumes than the typical 80's strength perfumes that I have loved since that era. After wearing this about an hour, the silage becomes more like the range of a clean soap, not so much a perfume - as a fragrance. If you are someone that likes a stronger scent - you will probably like this best if you have a purse size travel perfume that you can roll or spritz to refresh as you want to.

Can you make this in an INTENSE VARIETY? I love the general concept of this - I just wish that it had more silage to start with and that it lasted longer without having to refresh constantly.

After wearing Calvin Klein's Beauty for awhile, my taste is changing, it seems that my taste is gradually liking the softer more subtle, more natural type perfumes. I would have liked these perfumes when I was in Junior High and High School, my taste was fairly natural back then, before living through the 80's!

This is a very nice day fragrance that is an easy reach which is inoffensive, could be worn to the office. This won't replace my favorite night perfumes, but this is really nice throughout the day.

Just an observation -

If you are someone who really likes certain aspects of Delina De Marly, but felt that it was a bit too strong, more mature, or was too overly romantic for your every day wear... Elizabeth Arden's White Tea Wild Rose may be a perfume that would be your cup of tea. This is not similar to Delina De Marly where I could say that they smell as if they are in the same family of scents, but the rose notes are well done in both perfumes. Rose is the common note shared in each perfume and could become a signature perfume style with two different perfumes.

Yessamin

Delicate floral scent nuanced with freshness. A surprise of wild roses at the edge of the ocean.

this one starts with rose, tea, peony, and some herbal/green notes. this is not a pure rose scent to me-it's a green rose tea with tons of peony. peony is not my favorite note, so at first i disliked this one a bit, but it did get better over time once the peony calmed a bit. it's basically a light, fresh floral tea with a soft musk, and it's good for warmer weather.

Anitanita.

Lovely, light, fresh rose scent. Doesn't smell cheap at all, I was actually very surprised and bought it on the spot. It is moderate strength fragrance and perfect for work in spring and summer as it won't disturb or suffocate your coworkers. It reminds me of Elisabethan rose by Penhaliìgons a little bit .
Must try for rose lovers 😍

karinatfragrantica

Clean and bright scent. Not spectacular but nothing wrong with it either. As mentioned by other reviewers, it is very spa-like. To me it is a strangely unpersonal, distanced fragrance which does not evoke any kind of emotions in me.
I would recommend it for someone who just wants to smell clean and pleasant but in a refined, non-girly way.

TriFrtaljČetri

The only white tea l like, original smells too earthy and dirty, somewhat like dried grass, this one is the most similar to the original but it is cleaner and fresh ,rose is quite prominent but it's a fresh rose, not 'old lady like' rose. In other flankers notes are quite strange and poorly balanced.
If you like rose this is a safe blind buy. Silage and longevity are not the best tho. Mostly spring and summer fragrance.

washudtoj

As someone who appreciates rose, I'm surprised myself to find that I actually prefer the original White Tea to this one. This one smells like the original, plus Yves Rocher Rose Eau Fraîche on top. It is interesting but ultimately still acts as a mere flanker. There is 85 per cent of the original White Tea DNA here. Dry down smells even more like the original.

While the original smells unisex, this one leans towards the feminine side. I don't know why I can't give this a 'love' as I have given the original, but I reckon it's because the rose opening doesn't blow me away. It smells too close to Yves Rocher Rose Eau Fraîche, which I like but don't love, either.

Worth giving a try. If I hadn't smelt different shades of rose fragrances or the original White Tea before, I surely would have given this a 'love.'

karinatfragrantica

Soft and light. Unmarkable spa-like scent with almost no projection.

dunder988

In my opinion, this is the most beautiful rose perfume. It is a very clean rose perfume with nice musk added to it, there is no spice or fruit notes that ruins this scent, Similar to rose shiraz by ritual

kiwikate

I mean. It's fine. You could just spend some more and get Roses de Chloe.

If you're wanting a a very light rose scent and nothing heavy, it gets the job done. I just don't really think it stands out. Something went wrong with the mandarin and rose scents in this range, where they initially smell very unpleasant and chemically. They don't have the immediate nice dry down of White Tea and White Tea Vanilla. I can't help but compare it to it's family, and both the longevity and sillage are lack lustre and disappointing. It's okay. Wouldn't purchase again, will however get White Tea and White Tea Vanilla.

Kanutten

Lovely.
Uncomplicated creamy tea scent with rose.
I prefer this one over the original.

SailorV

A cute little rose scent with a very subtle tea note. The rose note somehow reminds me of dog roses, which I find nice and nostalgic. I mean, who didn't pick some petals off those bushes and enjoyed the scent as a child?
Otherwise the fragrance is rather unremarkable, but pleasant. It's light and fresh, but not soapy or astringent, more on the soft side of things with a fluffy musky base. Something to wear in the daytime, at work, for a walk through the park, for running errands.
I like it, but it's more of a weak like. A little better than just okay, nothing I'd buy, but it could be a good choice if you're looking for a lighter rose cheapie.

I haven't smelled the original White Tea yet so I can't compare them.

ignorabilis

I got a sample of this one with my last purchase in the drug store and after reading the reviews first, I was really excited of trying this one out today since I'm really into wearing fresh and clean scents in (home) office. Many people stated this scent would be rosy but more on the fresh side … powdery, almost green – these kind of scents really get me into the mood of getting shit done.

Sadly though, White Tea Wild Rose didn't. For me this is a pure (and quite plain) rose scent.
When you first spray it, you really get the freshness (I guess it's the berries) people are talking about, but it's gone after a few minutes already.
Then it starts smelling more and more like rose while you still get the white tea note. But at this point – and we're only a few minutes into the whole experience – it already gets plain and boring to me.
A few hours into it now I feel like the white tea ist almost gone and what I'm smelling now, I associate with these classic rose soaps you always get in present bags (and I really don't want to be mean about this!), but in a slighty softer, more powdery way …

For me this one is just missing some complexity and playfulness. It's really straight forward but not in a sophisticated but almost boring way. Like someone who tried to hard to stay on the safe side, so it's just nothing unique or remarkable about this.

I agree though that this is a really inoffensive and clean scent and I think if you're into classic rosy scents, this could be a great purchase and I would even say a safe blind buy.
If you're not going crazy about rose scents or classic oldschool soapy scents then this probably won't make you happy.

I bought this baby today, and, oh, I like it so very much!!!

I have been sniffing it several times, and today was my lucky day! At the moment, everything is about the roses, I can't get enough of it, and here is my reveiw of this perfume:

First came the red currant, lots'n lots's, even too much, very sour red currants, very sour, and, I don't know what these stupid berries has to do in this nice rose perfume?? -And, I cannot put my nose to it, because it's iching too much, in my face, my lips and nose. When/if, you ever consider to remix/reformulate this perfume - pleas drop the red berries.

-Than came the rose scent, and, it is very nice, very, very, very nice ;)) Later on, it sticks to my skin, and I can smell a lovely amber, it's just so very nice!!! There is some musky in it, and a slightly what ever tonka in it too.

This is an easy-going perfume for everybody :))

This is my second review and I will be disagreeing with my first review. The first review was based on a tester in a department store. Sometimes they are misleading.
This is based on my own bottle, which I recently bought online, a tiny cute 30 ml bottle.
I have remnants of the original White Tea left, it was my signature scent before and I still love it.
Wild Rose has the same, familiar White Tea base, but the fresh rose note and crispy red currants brings energy and brightness to it. With the wild rose note, this scent becomes fit for spring and summer.
The original was my cold season scent, it disappeared from my skin in the heat.

This is not the most ordinary rose scent, and not the most ordinary tea scent either.
A scent that gives me energy. I love it.

raiza1990

Clean, soapy rose fragrance. The tea is noticeable. It’s a pleasant scent. It’s soft, comforting, feminine and inoffensive. A bit powdery. Not fresh. I think it’s a safe blind buy. I like the original more than this one, but this one is very nice too.
Sillage is soft, longevity is good.
Final note: 7/10

wild rose, winter test, two sprays to wrist

i am a sucker for rose scents, any sort.
this begins as a fresh sort of rose, its light and for the first little while there is no white tea coming through.

Leter on, we loose a bit of the fresh rose feel and the tea emerges, this is very well blended, this is not sweet, or sharp, and the sweet tinge fades and gives way to a generally nice fresh (it almost has a gentle wood vein to it which adds depth to the fuzz of fresh).

a little powder on the edge
fresh rose
gentle
nice sillage
touch of green

this scent reminds me on Gucci Envy Me, and Kim Kardashian - a white bottle which is fresh green and rose. possibly a little of Stella McCartney rose could be included...

this wild rose version of White Tea lasts well on me, we are in winter here in NZ, in the summer longevity might be a different story who knows. I was happy with this scent and performance.

Similarities to the Original:

I dont feel its similar, perhaps the tea aspect - its not very strong or heavy on the green, infact i feel like the White Tea scent is what E.A Green Tea should have been. the W.T. original scent is nice but not so long lasting on me.

thanks

sarage

White Tea is my signature scent, so I was curious to test the Wild Rose edition.
Wild rose is a delicate floral scent that doesn't have the special, strong character of the original one.
I would not buy White Tea Wild Rose. I am happy with my original one, the strong tranquil ambiance it creates. This is too delicate. Not bad but kind of lame.

Mbrock

I have loved the original White Tea since it came out. I've had several bottels of it. So when these two flankers came out I blind bought them day 1 from Ardens website. It was a mistake. The original has such amazeing longevity & sillage I could not wait to try the new ones & what a disappointment.. With White Tea I thought they were trying to redo the line into something better & higher quality but after trying these two flankers I can say not. It barely has a scent. What ever there is of it is gone in an hour. It smells like a very watered down original white tea with some rose added. This is a total waste of money, the quality of the perfume is terrible. I am angry because I know they can do quality they just didnt in these two flankers.

candycanewho

This fragrance is soft, gentle and fresh. I wouldn't say it is as fresh smelling as JM's Red Roses. It isn't as perfumey as Stella Mccartney. The first thing that came to my mind was: this smells like a perfume The Body Shop would launch!

Longevity is about 2 hours max (in Spring), might work better in the warmer months.

I wouldn't say it is unique that YOU HAVE to get it.
