this was my first ever fragrance gifted to me a couple years ago, funny how i found out later when i really got into the fragrance community, i found out it was for women.

Honestly could not care less its a great fragrance i still do love it.

Im a man if you still couldnt figure:)

Emoody

Very nice and nostalgic,,, reminds me so much of covid era i used to apply a drop of it on my mask and go out. I didn’t repurchase it after it ran out and even forgot about it. But then I stumbled upon it at the store last night and the nostalgia hit me like a wave. Such a powerful feeling.

carrico1986

A warm, spicy floral. I'm surprised reading the notes, I thought this would be a fruity, girly-girl perfume. There are a lot of fruits in this scent but I don't pick them up at all. I like how it actually lasts on my skin. Usually scents fade in under an hour on my skin, but 4 hours later I still smell this beauty. I also remember smelling this years ago in the bar scene. It's definitely familiar. Pleasant and strong.

Pewbom

I used to use this fragrance when i was 19 . My mom bought me this and i immediately fall in love.
This is was my Chanel
Smells expensive and clean . I remember my friends keep saying to me that I smell like a baby powder but in a good way . So sad that I can’t find it anywhere

outquast

i do think this smells really nice. it was actually the first ever perfume i bought for myself, when i was 24, i had just been dumped, and i was looking for some small way to change myself that didnt involve dyeing my hair. i decided i needed a Scent. a Signature Scent that i would wear all the time and it would be my new cool feminine thing. so i picked up this one, which is funny in retrospect because of how obvious it is. i dont hate her, i just outgrew her. she was my special date night perfume for years. she's floral, powdery, and a tiny bit masculine if you squint. i really loved how long she lasted and she'll always have a place in my heart and in my collection for when i'm feeling really fancy

lemongrassscented

This is a fragrance that slaps you in the face in the best possible way.

Extremely musky and powdery, yet sweet and floral.

The type of person to wear this is, powerful, sexy, mature and intelligent. It can be worn by any and all genders.

It was one of my first "mature" fragrances and I'm sad to see its been discontinued.

obsession33

This is literally the best ever fragrance I ever had. While spraying it feels like you are falling to the endless alley full of beautiful threes.
It lasts forever both on skin and clothes. This is such a shame it has been discontinued as it used to be my signature fragrance.

Yolis

This smells like Zara Bright Rose which is supposed to dupe Narciso For Her EDP (the pink bottle) which is similar to Lovely by SJP. Overall just a musky powdery lightly floral patchouli that feels like a grown woman. This perfume however has a tiny bit more sweetness because of the peach, but it's not a sweet perfume by any means. Too mature and plain for me.

hldmyhnd7

I've been seeing a lot of reviews saying that this perfume doesn't last for more than a few hours, but that's not the case for me. This perfume lasts 6+ hours for me, and I receive endless compliments. It might just be like this because of skin chemistry, but this perfume has been nothing but amazing for me. I agree, it is a simple scent, and the peach and lilac notes aren't as strong as I would like them to be, but I find it best worn in the winter or spring, the summer not so much. I think the reason why I love this scent is because it introduced me to the value of smelling good and how receiving compliments about how good I smell truly means a lot to me. After reading some comments, I discovered it was discontinued, so I will try to ration it out through the rest of spring😅.

lagavulinx

Weird after 2 yrs of owning this & thinking it was too masculine smelling. I just sprayed original gucci on one hand & guilty gucci on the other. Then Mariah carey m on my upper arm (which smells alot like euphoria but I liked Mariah better.)
So comparing all if these.. The regular gucci is more tissue smelling, maybe like a nice feminine teacher would wear this. But she has a slight hint of coffee breath. The sour smelling breath when someone gets too close & you have to turn your head. She's kinda pretty but you'd probably think she was prettier without a Sourish smell to her breath.
Guitly...is better to me. But. I just had my bf smell each & he liked regular gucci better cause he said it was softer.
But yndwratand where hes coming from its like laying on Your mom & feeling comforted. But i still like the guilty smell better.. its stronger & more bold & doesn't have a tissue kleenex smell to it.we got on the topic that its weird how men like softer scents & women more like masculine. If the opposite was true then why aren't men wearing feminine scents to draw in women. & women wear masculine to draw in men. Personally I love gourmand scents so this one smells better, than gucci. its weird cause for 2 yrs i never smelled the la nuit type of smell until i just put it on again. Its actually pretty good. I was overwhelmed that I couldn't figure out how to describe this but yes it does have that generic typical gold amberish cashmere smell to it. I think of going into a dept store during xmas & spraying it on & thats te scent you keep smelling for an hr afterwards. this one is on the verge of a mariah carey m/ calvin klien euphoria (which these 2 smell very similar to me) but sweeter... mariah has a marshmallow scent to it but also a blaxk licorice hint to it which I like cause one of my favorite smells is Halloween night from solstice scents so comparing all 3 if these im starting to like Mariah careys best especially after 1/2hr & its also cheaper
Guilty on the other hand is discontinued..so it verges on the more expensive side of designer if you want to smell bolder then guilty is better. It is like if you mixed gucci w the only one. Or lancome la nuit smell? Im not smelling the peach smell everyone is saying it has in it. So its sweeter than the lighter powdery somewhat sour tissue paper smell of regular gucci. My bf prefers the regular. & im starting to smell the Mariah carey m (purple bottle) that I sprayed on my upper arm & guilty is kinda smelling like that & euphoria by Calvin klien a few yrs ago I compared mariah M to euphoria & I thought they smelled identical so I gave euphoria to my friend. So..out of all the 400 purfumes I have guilty smells mainly like euphoria possibly lancome lan uit but less creamy

I feel like Fragrantica reviewers tend to look down to a perfume that easy to understand and mass pleasing. They reduce the fragrance into ‘generic’ category. And they will write long essays and praises for scents that are complicated to understand. I will keep it real. Gucci Guilty is a beautiful fragrance. If you’re looking for a flexible scent, one that inoffensive enough to wear at work and fun enough to wear after hour; this is for you. It gives a clean, unbothered but smells good vibes for working environment but still cool enough for a night out.

If you’re not looking for a challenge in perfume especially for work, just trying to be proper, this will be a great choice. And oh, people around you will like it, ignore these 0.001% of the population, the fragrance snobs.

jadepo21

This is just too masculine for my personal taste, but it is a lovely fragrance for what it is. Just fairly generic and for the price, I would expect a bit more oomph.

nisarsarah9

Smells beautiful but the scent is very basic like no wow element that hits you and you are like feeling confident in your skin that I smell so good, naah, its basic!

Cindy814

For me, all I get in Guilty is spicy ambery peach and patchouli. My mom was sent this perfume, she didn’t like it. I don’t really love it either. It’s quite bland. And it’s way too mature. I don’t think a lady in her 20s can wear it. It reminds me of Avon little black dress. Their notes are entirely different but they have same style, warm, oriental, sensually fruity, spicy, woody at dry-down, can be wore at workplace and night time, give a proper elegant lady vibes.

vanilladoll

i really wanted to like this because of the peach, lilac, and vanilla, but for some reason this just smells like play dough on me. i thought it was just me getting the smell but i wore it the other day and my sister said the same thing. there’s just a lot going on with this perfume. it’s really strong, too. perfect if you like it but i end up washing this off every time i give it a chance.

mortezaa

It reminds me of Bvlgari Blv that was discontinued . it is a good substitution for Blv lovers .

shenamedel

This fragrance sounds beautiful & I would like to know if it's in the same family of fragrances of Lancome Tresor A La Folie?

sesi_shikorina

I would say I have mixed feelings about Gucci Guilty. Like others have said, it's surprisingly complex and sophisticated. The dry down is very fresh and soapy, yet multidimensional in the way that it still maintains a hint of vanilla warmth that cuts though the floral. I'm a little confused by the combination of notes, they almost work together and yet something is still a little bit off. Maybe the patchouli?

It might just be a bit too mature for me. My mom loves it though, and I certainly don't hate it, but I can't really see myself wearing such a strong, sharp perfume.

babypong

I expected something dark sticky and sexy out of this based off the advertising and reading the notes. I was disappointed to find another basic designer fresh floral that only lasts 3 hours. It smells good, I would describe it as an extremely safe blind buy or gift, but personally I was disappointed with the intensity and longevity. For my collection it also lacks uniqueness.

leaves.n.rain

I got this sample a few years ago and wasn't really sure what to think. But it's grown on me. I find this scent very sophisticated, and I mostly get notes of spices and light florals (I also get anise and rose, which aren't listed so not sure where that's coming from). I don't get any fruits or vanilla. I think this is a great scent that can be worn both in the office and on a date, so it's very versatile. I prefer the EDT to the EDP, the parfum tends to smell really strong and spicy, almost like black licorice, which I'm not a huge fan of. EDT still has that licorice quality, but only on initial spray. I usually only spray this once when I use it, but I can smell it all day, so I would say it's pretty long-lasting. I tend to prefer my scents close to the skin, hence why I only do one spritz, but I don't think this fragrance is too strong for 2+ if you wanted more projection.

yellowdock

This is my least favorite perfume that I have, and it's very weak on me. It hardly lasts at all. And although it's supposed to be a feminine scent, I feel like it's so soapy smelling and plain that it would be better used on a guy who doesn't really use perfume and just needs to smell clean. I'm going to give it to my boyfriend who doesn't wear perfume.

katarinacza

Perfume that first of all lacks longevity. And no idea what is "guilty" about it - one of the most neutral and office friendly fragrances. It's nice and smells somehow classic - in good not outdated way. A lovely white floral, not too strong and well blended. Makes you feel clean and well made. great white t-shirt smell. So said - the name and whole campaign are a huge mismatch in my opinion.
Would srsly love it if it lasted at least an hour.
The package is tacky, but I got used to it.

Axxn

They should bring this back! So sad it’s been discontinued

suzanne_ronald

Classic LILAC & PEACH Odyssey. Opens with a fruity burst of mandarin & pink pepper supported by mult-faceted bergamot, that deepens into the lilac & peach heart. This all rests on an amber-floral support base rounded out by patchouli, white-musk and vanilla. This is really well blended and it's difficult to pick out the additional notes in the heart, but the Gucci DNA is definitely present. I only have a tester that was hanging out in a box of testers for a few years, but although this isn't groundbreaking now imho, it's just so well done that I can understand why it has so many fans. I'd be curious to know if the re-released version is as perfectly pitched. If I get a tester of that one I will update.

Contrast to Sotoor Seen Rasasi:
This is a dupe of Gucci by Gucci but there are similarities with dewy, sweet florals and the Gucci DNA. Sotoor Seen gets a lot sweeter in the drydown with honey, although it has a similarly slow unfolding. Both have excellent performance, but Sotoor Seen has beast mode once it gets going and can work up to a cloying sweetness if oversprayed.

Overall: Beautifully blended classic lilac-peach scent with excellent performance. You can't go wrong if looking for a classic amber-fruity-floral. It's a love for me. If you manage to find a bottle, enjoy!

Souzzz

One of My favorite creations of Gucci!

ChayChama

The best creation Gucci have ever made! This scent is so chic and deep and develops in a slow manner.
It has an Italian, French and oriental DNA, all at once! And you can sense it straight from the opening.
If you know anything in the market similar to this masterpiece please let me know. 💕

shomica

I bought this perfume because I girl I was crushing on had worn it and I loooved it on her.. don't love it on me ( learned that the hard way ) I wanted a night "clubbing" type fragrance and with this being so popular I thought it might just fit the role. I don't know why but on me it smells geriatric- and not in a sophisticated rich grandma type of way like channel no.5 but like baby powder and metal coins. I still think with the right type of woman this fragrance is a killer but I guess I just don't suit that role.

Erincess

I wanna get this again too😭😭 I miss this so much
Please msg me if there’s a seller still out there

Zvrv

If anyone is selling this original perfume please contact me. This is my signature scent and I miss it so much as it’s been discontinued and reformulated with different packaging.

LaContessina

Very average, clean, feminine floral.
it's a classic mainstream frangrance; a violet, rose and lilac flower bouquet, with a tad of peachy fruityness and a classic amber-patchouli base.
Not as bad as other designer frags (LVEB, Prada Paradoxe, Coach, Michael Kors, Daisy etc) indeed it's very wearable, not offensive, but as well not memorable.
OK for office wear (if you are able to locate a bottle, that is).
Very similiar to CK Beauty, RL Romance.
....you can upgrade to a higher level now.

Megablyna

This my signature fragrance ❤️ I miss it

Candylover666

I recieved a tester of this perfume today and I must say even though this is not my usual scent profile and I strongly dislike patchouli, I really like it.
It’s such a nice powdery, floral fruity fragrance and the patchouli blends perfectly between the notes.
I think this perfume is very unisex and I would love to smell it on a man or a woman.
Very nice, inoffensive and crowd pleasing smell, I’m not surprised it’s so popular.

KAYAGIRL

I have the original formulation and don't like it at all. Why am I keeping it?? I dont even know.

Atomikbomb_

This is a tough one. I don't dislike it, but I'm thrown off.

It opens super aromatically, which actually made me balk a little. Not in a bad way, but it actually has a masculine tone with the brisk nature of lilac, pepper and whatever citruses are here. Yet...as it fades a bit and settles into the heart, it becomes more obviously floral in nature. Still, the lilac is more femme, but it contends with the pepper...I think this is easily unisex (who cares, wear what you want anyway).

It becomes soapy in the dry down. I can't even discern what's going on at all, but it's a malange of stuff and smells like a 70s soapy, aromatic, kitchen sink blend of things. I really don't dislike it though, but I'm mystified by this packaging and marketing. Not in a million years would I have guessed it would smell like this!

So anyway, it's not bad, but it isn't at all sensual, golden or anything close. It smells like light powdery greens and purple. This might be the most incongruous scent&bottle combo I've ever experienced.

It is pretty in its own way though, and the performance is decent.

Hvaruna

Beautiful, soft, comforting, 'nudy' velvety.
The only thing I will never understand is why they called it Guilty.
Sounds so off and lacking fantasy.
Too puritan of a name.

Jordan 99

Mature scent in good way, cozy, sweet, smooth, bit boring for me. I gave it to my mother in law, she enjoys it way more. Nice scent I love on someone els.

Gigi27

Imagine yourself at the Duty Free shop in a nice airport. They have all the higher end usual suspects at hand, clean tester bottles, the works. You're tired, vulnerable, stuck in this in between transient moment of your life. And that's how they get you.

Gucci Guilty smells ok. Nothing jarring, nothing challenging or sharp. It smells nice, kinda expensive. There is no change between top notes and dry down, what you see is what you get: An utterly boring, unoriginal scent that smells like an airport shop.

renealizette

This smells like the boss. She's not joking, and she's up there because she worked hard for it. She deserves it and she's telling everyone about it. She's independent, hard to please, and don't do relationships. Occasionally she does hook-ups but that's it. She's an only child, parents abroad, and lives at the Penthouse. She spends her holidays in Europe and doesn't come back to work until a week later. But she's the boss so nobody minds. She books the best hotels and dines at the best restaurants. She knows everybody from everybody and doesn't get no for an answer. But although she's all of this, I sense a tinge of sadness. Underneath it all, the glamorous and luxurious lifestyle, she just seeks love from everyone around her.

PS. Grandest bottle ever.

JamesPawn

it smells like a brighter gucci guilty for men better then the mens maybe

Flexwithviv

I find this just boring, a mashup of notes, it's a perfume that I can't see offending people. But it's so liner.

It has a moderate sillage when being generous with spraying and lasts for about 2-3 hours on my skin possibly less to be honest.

The juice does not match the bottle, I expect something more vibrant or loud.

Smell 3.5/10
Duration 4/10
Sillage 6/10
Quality/price - can't remember
Packaging 8.5/10
Would I buy again? Nope

I have about 10 to 15mls left and I can't wait to just finish it. I've had it for years. It's such a nothing fragrance quite boring. I have come to realise that I'm just not a fan of Gucci fragrances. Definitely test it out before purchasing.

greenmelon20

I expected a more bright citrusy scent, but instead while I do get the bright opening, it dries down very peppery and powdery, almost baby powder smell. Personally, too mature for my taste, and the scent doesn't really last either.

Wildcherry

This reminds me of the 80's clubbing scene. It's a bit retro to me. I like it but don't love it enough to purchase a bottle.

MistyDayyy

I’m usually not a fan of Gucci scents, but I really liked this one. I sprayed some of my mom’s and had to get it for myself. I’m not sure why, but it sort of reminds me of Prada Candy. More of a toned down version though.

I’m not getting any fruit from this perfume. I mainly smell musk, powder, amber, and pink pepper.

KerriZ

It is a beautiful easy wearing scent It will neither leave a lasting impression nor offend. Go to the gym or the office...all good. Good sillage and lasts about 2 to 3 hours.

emibebi

Discontinued and out of stock in Australia. Shattered! This was my signature scent. Someone please help me find a dupe/replacement. I can’t believe they discontinued this classic.

SmellLush

This was my signature scent for about 6 years, it's classy and bright and zesty. I had a rough couple of things happen during those years so I might get another bottle and try to reclaim the scent. Definitely a favorite, I wore it everywhere perfect for nights out and work etc.

Nicoleker

3.8 / 5 stars. Def a fall perfume. In my tester bottle I smell pink pepper and then the bergamont. When applied to the skin, I smell immediently the lilac, jasmine and mandarin. Lasts about 4 hours on me.

mhubbard1961

I smelled this on someone, found out the name and bought a mini. Very glad I didn't spring for a full bottle. To me this is not sexy, it's not clean, it's not anything. Mature, yep

Sherie91!

I got this as a gift and I must honestly say I am not a fan at all. This is a very mature scent. The florals don’t come through at all for me.

EBetharama

I initially added this during the summer months and it was just a "like" for me. In fall, I'm re-evaluating and rotating in some fragrances specifically for fall vibes. Because I lean so hard into Bergamot and citrus notes, it's harder for me to find heavier, fall-like scents I like on my body. I also HATE vanilla and dislike most powdery and ozonic notes on my skin as they dry down.

This is one of only a couple of scents with vanilla that will remain in my likes. The patchouli, musk, and amber balance it so it just gives the scent body and not "hi! We're in a bakery!" vanilla flavor. And the powdery note others mention is not prominent on my skin, particularly in this cooler weather. I get that pink pepper blast to start which I LOVE, btw, but it settles down in under 30 minutes. The floral trail is perfectly balanced by the black currant, and the dry-down doesn't veer too fruity or too floral. I'm in love.

I'm still testing longevity with the bottle I purchased from someone who pre-sprayed about half their bottle on EBay, so I'll be interested to see. This just might become a fall staple for me. If it has staying powder, it might go into the "love" category!

sravz

If this wasn’t so expensive i would have already had at least three bottles, and also they change the bottle shapes. Non offensive and amazing. Waiting for some sale atleast.

RocCity3

This will always be in my collection! I love this perfume so much. Sexy, powdery, and alluring. Very feminine and pretty, men like this one as well. Always get compliments.

JongheonKim

I have Cuba Paris Prestige Legacy and it's really same smell. I can't really tell any differences. I think it's more like hot weather perfume unlike what these indicates tell by people. it's citrucy

Liasdelife

I don't feel anything special about this perfume. It's not smelling bad, but it's ordinary.

sweet_teenagedream

Smells like grown up baby powder😝 if that makes any sense.

Emeraldasleek

This was my first ever designer perfume. Got it as a gift for my Birthday from my then Boyfriend and this was Sometime in 2018 when I knew absolutely nothing about Perfume Notes or what Niche in perfumery even was lmao. But I Absolutely adore this fragrance. I wore it to every special occasions then. Date nights, club, parties, the park, to church and weddings lol but even at that, I used it sparingly too. Two to four spritz and I was Good to go. I can say that the projection of this is moderate but the performance is amazing. Even when I go nose blind to this, people around me could still smell my fragrance so the sillage is amazing. I absolutely love the dry down of this. It’s giving what it’s supposed to give on my skin so yeah. Hoping to repurchase this sometime soon.❤️

jadesfragrances

initially reminds me of fizzy, candy peach rings, then it settles into baby powder with a hint of citrus. i wish the peach was prominent throughout but it becomes a flat, powdery scent. no florals or vanilla for me :(
it does smell very clean but ends up quite generic, quickly developing into a skin scent with not much else going for it. it’s a shame because i love peach scents so i was excited about this one. the opening is really fun but that’s about it.

loveleen

To my nose this smells like a spicy sexy soap. There's definitely a clean element to it. It brings me back to highschool where one of my girlfriends would keep this in her locker and spray herself in between classes. Good times.

QueenOfCharms

So I had her a long time ago ..... she made me feel expensive with her gold bottle. I carried her to school everyday and loved her to the moon and back .
I always remember feeling so classy when I wore this fragrance. It is uplifting and fresh without being too clean.

Marychase

chelseet

I have to laugh at the reviews where people said this smells like diapers. Because honestly, they aren’t entirely wrong! Lol! But I truly do love this frag. It does kind of remind me of baby wipes. And I don’t mind that at all. Those smells like baby wipes, baby powder, Johnson’s & Johnson’s baby magic, they’re all great scents to me! But I think Guilty is more complex than just a baby wipe smell. You have the florals and the ambery vibes. The musky vanilla. I think this scent really shines in cold weather. But maybe that’s because it’s the only time I wore it- my boyfriend (now husband) bought this for me as a birthday gift I think in 2011 or 2012. And I blew through it and ran out of it all by around march or April. So I didn’t get to experience it much in spring or summer. I truly do love this scent. I’d say it’s one of the first scents that I’ve ever used, to me, that felt “sexy”. I haven’t smelled a ton of perfumes in my life but I don’t think I’ve ever smelled anything quite like this! It feels really unique in my opinion.

But I will say this: this scent has been reformulated and I have not smelled the new formulation. The OG formulation that I had, it really did have great longevity. Only a couple sprays and it was very strong. In fact, when I wore this in college, I was freshly showered, hair washed, and sprayed 2 spritzes of guilty. I walked into a room on campus where you can hang out and study, and was dismayed that two college boys across the room kept saying things like “oh my God what’s that horrible old lady smell“ “Jesus it’s so strong”. So yeah, despite their comments I still adore this scent, but yeah definitely not for everyone lol. But I can at least confirm that it has great sillage and longevity!

clairdelune

A young woman started using a weight machine next to me at the gym today and she smelled divine. I couldn't help myself - I had to ask her what she was wearing and she said "Gucci Guilty." My encounter of it was fleeting as she finished her set and left, but it smelled so good - the overall impression was fresh, very feminine, a bit powdery and elegant. It was not my style -- not something I would purchase myself, but I thought it was lovely on her and I thanked her for making the gym smell better.

correspondencepersonal

A stronger version of My Burberry Blush with a bit more depth.

Lotte_Liese

When I saw that it had mandarin orange and patchouli, I was prepared not to like this fragrance but boy was I wrong. The opening is a gorgeous pink pepper and juicy fruits (mandarine orange, peach and currant) combo that instantly grabs you. The drydown is sweet vanilla, amber and patchouli with hints of white musk. This is a sensual, elegant offering that I have smelt too many times on too many people in the past and so will not be jumping on the bandwagon to purchase a full bottle.

Ashalia

I ordered a sample of this to see if I wanted to purchase the full bottle. I'm glad that I did. This reminds me of an old lady's perfume. I do not like this at all. The floral/soft spicy combination does not work for me.

seajayforever

For some reason all i can smell in this is A1 steak sauce and heavy heavy musk.

SmellGoddess

Very old fashioned parfume, but in a bad way. It has a unique smell, that is at the same time really basic, that im sure you have smelled before. It gave me immidiently throw back to my childhood, where many people wore this. I don’t like it at all.

Trishaaa

This to me was another one of those fragrances that came across pretty basic for the most part. I did like some things that were used here but I'd never go out of my way to buy this for myself. If I smelt this on someone else, I'd like it for sure but again, nothing that really stands out here.

Mirille

I got this as a sample. At first, all I could smell was heavy floral and patchouli, and I am not a fan of patchouli. As it dries down, I find I agree with others that say that it smells like fresh diapers. I mean, it smells soft and sweet like a freshly cleaned and diapered baby, if that is what you are going for, but that seems a bit weird to me. I will not be purchasing this.

There are only a few perfumes I've given away. Calvin Klein Euphoria and this...I'm not great with notes but know there may be something in notes such as pink pepper, lilac, geranium possibly that I don't like. I did get a swift feeling of never going to like this fragrance. If anyone knows the strong prominent note in Euphoria please DM me. I do like strength in fragrance, berries, musks, vetiver, anamalaic warm ambers, so really don't know what upsets me about whats listed here for Guilty.

aweso10

lol, gucci guilty is another one that reminds me of my teens when i had no idea what frags really "fit" me or worked with my body chemistry in any way whatsoever. all in all, it's a deep and citrusy musk. it's pretty spicy and intense honestly, so i can't imagine what people must've thought of my 16-year-old self dousing it all over, haha. the black currant notes really come through, and the florals are very much there but a lil less forward than you'd imagine. no complaints to this day, it's just not really my cup of tea anymore!

sammysilver678

agh, so basic unfortunately. This is what i thought cool teens smelled like when i was 10

ClaraDelValle

I wore this in my early twenties, and got through a whole bottle of it, so I must have liked it enough. In honesty, I can't really remember what this smells like but I do clearly remember other scents I wore in this time period, and earlier - so unmemorable?

darkskinned

This perfume is probably the worst perfume I have used till date.
Terrible lasting power, forty five minutes max. Pleasant smell, but it does not last long at all.
If you must go for Gucci, I strongly suggest you try Gucci flora eau de perfume instead.

iremkaraoglu

i smelled more than sexy scents in the world until now.

WijayantiKusuma

Wasn’t sure the first time I sniffed this. It’s spicy, powdery and patchouli. But the more I wears it the more it grows on me. When I need a confidence booster I will definitely go with Gucci Guilty. It gives me a powerful feeling but still friendly and sexy at the same time.

But I believe this version isn’t available anymore and when it’s available it became way too overpriced. So when you have a chance to grab it, go grab it as many as you can!

Lillie7

I can’t find this version any more but GUCCI GULTY POUR FEMME is the same

Iris128

Powdery with a tiny touch of sweetness and discreetly sexy/sensual. The silage is medium, people feel the cleanliness but they have to come quite close to actually smell the scent. It didn't have a Pampers effect on me and it lasts a very long time BUT...it is not an intense scent and i wouldn't wear it for a night out (except if i wanted to go unnoticed or noticed by someone who likes scents that are not overwhelming). It gives off a clean, feminine, luxurious vibe which is great for a day at work or in places where you just want to smell good without making a statement of your presence. I wear it all year round, usually on days when i can't decide which perfume i want to wear. Never had a bad comment on it but i never had really enthusiastic comments on it either.

zind

@swedishmilk15
I think this only comes in edt. Sounds like you have the Intense version which is an edp. That would explains why it smells different (I think the bottles look the same)

zind

It's funny that this has been considered the ultimate clubbing scent for many reviewers here because I find this so innocent! I received it in a swap and I am only getting a full wear for the first time today. Of the ones in my collection this reminds me a lot of My Name with it's sweetness and prominent lilac note.

I have been changing diapers daily for nearly 7 years but thankfully I am not reminded of diapers! Also, peach is a note I sometimes struggle with, it's not cloying and screetchy in Guilty though. I think it's easy to wear and quite lovely, something I will probably reach for when I want something non-offensive and likeable.

swedishmilk15

I was reading a magazine and caught a whiff of something incredible. It was a test strip for Gucci Guilty. I got tons of patchouli, incense, and jasmine from the test strip. I was loving it, excited to find something that smelled like my bath routine-- Neutrogena rain bath, a layer of nag champa lotion, followed with jasmine body oil and a dab of Matchabelli Skin Musk (oil). Most perfumes I own are more vintage in their profiles so I was pumped to find a perfume that wouldn't be redundant AND hit some great notes for me.

Unfortunately my bottle of EDP doesn't replicate the same accords. It's nice, I get the incense and jasmine in the opening. Then it turns into basically a VERY light musk/skin scent within 2 hours. Usually a scent will linger on my clothes around the neckline--NADA. I might finish my bottle but it will probably take a long time--there are better scents out there and my Mugler Alien EDP definitely outranks and outperforms this when I want Jasmine and warm woods. The best part of this is the bottle, which reminds me of a shiny gold Boccioni sculpture. Very Italian. Doesn't match the juice inside.

I see this going for big prices so I'm glad I spent more like $40 usd for my 1.7oz rather than the 92 DOLLARS??!! I'm seeing this go for now??!! PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS FOR $92.

Edit: another user mentioned there's not an EDP. Maybe mine is the EDT. Will check when I have time and update, I don't want to mislead anyone with my review.

Bockrun

This smells like a straight up clean diaper. Like Pampers fresh out of the package.

Szafirowy czar

It's not my favourite fragrance, a bit too sweet and average for me

SaraAnn

This is my signature. I’m obsessed with Gucci Guilty! I always get compliments, no matter when or where I’m wearing it. I’ve layered it with a few different perfumes but honestly my favorite mixed with this one is Ariana Grande’s Cloud. *chefs kiss*

rerecca

It's a good scent but I don't get anything special from it. Its opens sweet a bit floral and the dry down is powdery. Powdery scent last forever in my skin so I still get some of the smell even after 10 hours. It's a good smell to wear for shopping alone, going on an all-girls day or a simple date (for more of a serious date, would prefer something that smells more special)

YouseiPrince

I wanted to love this fragrance sooo bad! But each time i tried to wear it it just never worked for me :( Its soooo very interesting though, every girl whose smelled this on me adored it. They say it smells expensive, it smells like a boss, it smells luxurious. But yet LITERALLY every man whose smelled this on me said it smells like a baby/baby wipes. And i personally had the same impression when i first smelled it too. I think its the abundance of lilac in this perfume that really reads as a baby lotion/baby wipe/ baby product and i just cant shake that. Its such a shame because it opens with a pleasant floral fruity opening with the peach and black current, and it drys down to a really lovely spicy vanilla on me which i really do love. But the haunting of that Lilac literally lingers for the entirety of this perfumes life on my skin and i just cant feel confident knowing i smell like a baby. Overall i will say its a pleasant perfume and i understand why people love it, but i will always remember this one as the “baby smelling” perfume for me :(
xoxo - <3 Stevie

Jswizzle1802

Everybody seems to love this scent I just don’t understand the big hype. My boyfriend bought me this one saying he thought it smelled really good but for me it’s just…meh. The vibe I’m getting here is sweetened baby powder. However when I do wear this I get SO many compliments saying “you smell like money”. I wish I could smell what others do because this is sadly one of my most complimented fragrances! Lol ugh! I am going to finish the bottle but won’t be re-purchasing, I wear perfume that I like to smell not for others. Still since it is highly complemented and lasts a decent amount of time I’ll give it a higher rating than it may deserve. 6/10 🤷♀️

Syrah14

Guilty indeed... This fragrance is hot. I get girl out on the town in New York vibes, dripping in Gucci Guilty, laughing, feeling confident and bold. The brand's descriptor is perfect: "It is designed for the glamorous, daring, brave, and very sexy girls who like to party and enjoy themselves." This is it! The fragrance opens with mandarin and bergamont and slowly dries down to delicious jasmine and amber notes that I love. It's not really sweet, not too floral, just sexy and rich. It's a little synthetic but in a way I like. Slightly oriental, Gucci Guilty is an amber floral fragrance that just works. The bottle really gives the whole feel of this fragrance.

stardenise16

I brought a travel size bottle at Macy’s a few years ago, I love it and I’m still in love with this scent. Gucci Guilty is so sexy. I have to get a bigger size of this.

Alicen1derland

This is another scent I heard people raving about but I just cannot stand it.
It is very strong and instantly gives me a headache.
I tried to like it but I cannot tolerate being in the same room where this is worn.
I don't know what it is exactly about this perfume or if it is just too heavy of a scent for me. But I do like the Gucci Guilty Eau de Toilette which is softer and more appealing to me.

DPrince01

I actually liked this perfume and found it good for layering. However, once I eventually realised that it smells identical to baby wipes, I could never “un-smell” that scent and it ruined the perfume for me especially because other people I wore it around also smelled me and said “baby wipes”-_-

It’s fine if you don’t mind that, but it just wasn’t something I wanted to smell like to be honest.

LemonadeBeach

Overall, this smells like a nondescript, perfumy, floral fragrance. But after a few minutes, it honestly becomes a fresh baby diaper scent. Not much longevity, which is great if you hate the smell of pampers. Depending on your nose and skin chemistry, it might ring closer to a pleasant musky, ambery floral.

Kittykittybangbang

It’s nice. It doesn’t have the “annoying” warm note that the intense has, though it is still a “warm” perfume. Lilac is my favorite note and I don’t really get that here. It’s a bit creamy from the vanilla. Nice.

Lillie7

AS THIS PERFUME DISCONTINUED, TRY ( Entebaa Rasasi for women) GREAT DUPE!!

NDStars

First blast of musky sweet fruits and white floral floating on top of a warm woody amber. There's a real sense of weight here, a maturity. This is definitely not a juvenile fruity white floral but remains nevertheless.... yet another fruity white floral. The only guilty thing about this scent is that it's guilty of being boring. Feminine and best for cool weather.

Emera1d

Tested the one in the new bottle and it is not exactly as I remember, but that's probably just me. I feel the new one has less lilac and more pink pepper but other than that it is still pretty much the same scent.

BrittanyBrighton

Years ago I smelled this and said "it's missing a lot" and quickly moved on.. but now revisiting I think that's it's charm!! It's understated. Like the quiet confident woman. I picture a smart and sexy real estate agent saying to herself "Honey, please- I'm here to sell you guys a house. Not to steal your husband. but keep it up with the backhanded compliments and you may just tempt me."
Sexy & understated. You fill the missing piece With this one :)

moss_surrealism

This is arguably my favourite scent - Favourite scent for a particular mood or occasion.
Realistically, I don't believe this scent is for everyone however.
What is this scent made for in my opinion? Summer. A bottle chilling out in your apartment on your bed, as you gaze into the sunset sipping a Moscato wine, thinking about what outfit you're going to pull together for a night out on the town by the waterfront. It's a certain lifestyle that this scent goes with and perhaps is made for - And it doesn't make sense outside of that lifestyle.
Clubbing scent, yes, but luxe lifestyle more so.
I would spray this all over me, and my clothes - And it is just a signature scent for those who love Gucci and the beach. :)
I prefer the women's EDT however - I am very fussy, and have contemplated all of them - This is my favourite concoction and I don't believe you can purchase it anymore within Gucci boutiques?
I just find mine at Chemist Warehouse :) Now that's style :D

duaa abed

no longevity at all not one hour even soo watered down
version . sad i blind bought it because i loved the pour homme diamond edition

briannadedrew

This has got to be one of the best and most well-blended designer fragrances i’ve ever tried. I can’t pick out a single note, it simply just smells good. I do not get baby powder, pepper, or hand soap at all as other reviews have been saying, like, not even a little bit (thank god). sexy, classy, pretty much everything a woman could want out of a fragrance.

MarmaladeSkies

I really like this perfume. The pink pepper is present but not too intense and the dry down is a subtle lilac peach. It doesn't last very long but it's been my favourite blind buy so far. I wouldn't say it's sexy but it's getting there.

Iheartperf

Yes you get baby wipe vibes BUT if you spray heavier you get a more balanced scent and the longer you have the bottle the better it will smell :) it is oddly sexy but fresh as well. Seems like a clubbing scent but is also comforting. Probably why guys love it.

janevee

This was a very strong, sexy, heady fragrance that I could not quite pull off. I did like it at first but quickly found it too overpowering to wear regularly. I got turned off by this scent after I smelled it on a coworker.

Sarra98

I regret getting this. I just dislike the opening smell. It has this strong peppery scent then just plain sweet scent which gave me a headache. Just not my type of scent.

bttydvis

I got it as a gift and I like the scent. To me it smells very clean and I get a lot of amber. One thing I like about this perfume is that every man who smells it falls in love with it.

violacolors

Softly spicy, powdery floral.
Synthetic. Luxurious. Sensual.

This definitely feels like a perfume scent. But this scent has sentimental value to me since it's the first perfume I ever wore consistently for a long time. I blind bought this in year 2015 when I was first year in college, and the first impression I got was 'luxurious' and 'mature'. I remember I was relieved that I liked it. I smelled this recently in a subway station from a woman who walked pass me, and brought back so many memories since it was special time of my life. It's a scent I won't wear anymore, but it's quite a unique scent.

kinpatsu

This smells great - like soft sweet peach and lilac, but it reminds me of a hand soap I've smelled before...

lillysswann

I got this as a gift. I must admit I was reluctant to put this on reading the name. I expected something super punchy in your face, full of patchouli and dirt, sweat etc. So I went online to read the notes. The notes made me feel a bit more assured that this won’t be the case but I was still nervous to try this on because of the pink pepper. I was sure I’d get a headache or that I’ll want to immediately scrub this off when I tried it on my skin…but…wait a minute…

This actually smells nice and … light? airy??.. I remember my first thought was “ Guilty? How exactly?!” I needed a bit of time to make sense of it, to put it in a category but I just couldn’t…
See that’s the case with it.
You can’t define it. It’s not sweet or floral centered, it’s not sexy in an obvious way, not super musky and clean, not sophisticated in a serious way. It’s not “old” or “young”… it’s just…balanced. And most of all…It’s free.
It doesn’t care about your perception of it. It doesn’t want to be put under a certain label.

Most perfumes bring a memory or a loved in mind when I smell them but this one smelled like a fictional character… This smelled like what I imagine Carrie Bradshaw would smell like in the first few seasons of SATC. She’s walking down the streets of Manhattan with the wind blowing through her hair. She’s chic and clean and sexy but doesn’t care to fit your perfect image. She’s smoking and on her way for some cocktails. She’s single or in between an affair. She doesn’t care. She’s empowered and working for herself. She’s not sure of what the future holds but she’s certain of one thing…it won’t be boring.

If I could, I’d bath myself in this scent because the EDT is light enough for all seasons and my skin just sucks this up SO so quickly. I’ll reapply generously though just to feel this way again. This won’t be a signature, I know, it’s just a love affair… I know it won’t last, but I’ll remember this for a long time after we part ways. That’s what makes this “guilty”.

Yvettte

On my skin it smells ambery and too peppery, I don't hate it but I never wear it out, used more as a room spray. Though I dont reach for it on myself, I have smelled it on other people and really liked it so I think it's just they way it sits on my skin.

s0rbet

this fragrance smells like baby powder on me. it's light and innocent but has a bit of sexyness to it. if you're looking for a safe fragrance, this is the one.

brightsun2205

All I smell is a light, spicy floral, powdery and ambery scent. It's OK for me, but no wow and poor longevity. I wear this for casual wear and work during cold climates. When I use up this fragrance, I will not be repurchasing it as this has to go. I suggest that there are better fragrances everywhere.

In conclusion, Gucci Guilty EDT and EDP are not for you if you can't stand the heavy amber and patchouli smell.

Alternatively, Untouched by The Veronicas(if it's available in your country) will be good if you enjoy a sultry, unisex, sweet floral scent.

JasminePetal

Got this as a gift, and sadly did not like. I think the pepper notes were too strong in this one, apart from that it contains all the notes I love. But pepper is so overpowering and it just doesn't match my style. The pepper makes it feel somehow workaholic boss lady career woman, that is strutting around in skirt-suit, high heels and gucci bag on her shoulder. One with too much hairspray that you can also smell a mile away. No offense to anyone who loves this scent by the way. Perfumes do manifest differently on everyone's skin, but this is the vibe that I got from it. And that stiletto did not fit sadly. I gave it to someone who does not have much money to buy her own scents and she absolutely adored it, including her teenage son who saw the name 'gucci' and that pretty much sold it to him. The more brands the merrier was probably his motto back then XD

Rawantica

a sweaty sinful long night,
(maybe thats why its called guilty)
it gives me that vibe,
very provocative
Shouldn’t be a signature scent it’s definitely not (office, brunch, day, family, shopping) appropriate.

I get nothing smelling this, i just get gucci guilty

madamfleur

I love this fragrance and it smells really nice on me, but I have purchased the EDT in a new 2021 bottle that looks like the 2019 EDP bottle and it is sad how little it lasts, even on clothes. It just disappears completely after an hour if at that. I've tried the EDP version and while it does have great projection and longevity it's borderline headache inducing for me and the scent itself is more potent. I prefer the softness of the EDT, if only it lasted longer.

Madnanavej

Don’t like the opening - smells like cheap perfume but the dry down is nice and has peppery notes which I find unique. But the staying power just wasn’t there.

writekatewrite

On me, it's a slightly spicy lilac baby powder. It's inoffensive and nice but not really a statement. Would be nice for the office.

Not_a_perfume_junkie

I HATE the soapy opening ! I simply hate it!

Sometimes I put it on and when I get past the opening , I'm like ... Ooh nice! Other times like today, it's just irritating ! I don't get patchouli at all. That would be the salvation for this perfume. I get soap. Musk. Yuck.

Phemia

I can see where people are getting the soap vibes from. It does have a soapy quality once it's dried down. I'll start by saying it's not my favorite but it's not terrible. Initially I get a sweet, peppery peach. But I also get a sort of juicy, waxiness that lingers throughout that reminds me a bit of MMM Lipstick On but far less sweet and cloying than Lipstick On. I said this about Gucci Guilty Black, and although my sentiments about the two fragrances are different (because they definitely are) - I'm wondering if this sort of sweet waxiness is characteristic of the Guilty line. No mistake, it's certainly not a bad quality, but it's there. The spicy sharp pepper note stays throughout as well, making itself more known as the fragrance dries down and helps cut through some of the initial sweet fruitiness. All of the base notes really come out after the sweet peach fades down but the amber and musk take up much of the attention. I get hints of the lilac, jasmine, and geranium but they blend into an indistinct generic "floral" note. Overall I find this to be an inoffensive but unremarkable fragrance.

stefani valini

It took me a long time to like this scent. Now i find her very pretty, but a lot of people around me don't like her. It's not a safe blind buy. Ideal for winter and fall. When I wear it I feel "boss", but I never guet compliments on this one. Dominant notes are powdery lilac, peach, and pepper. Its smell way better on the skin, its sweeter.
10/10 for the bottle.
6.5/10 for the scent
6/10 for performance

Sesquialtera

Other reviewers have said that Gucci Guilty is wrongly named and that 'Innocent' would be far more apt but I disagree. This would be the perfect scent to wear if one were having an affair or otherwise up to no good: it's pleasant but not at all distinctive; undetectable as it doesn't hang around for too long. It's safe, pleasant, pretty and anonymous. The ideal perfume for anyone undertaking clandestine activities.

IndiePenScent

Floral patchouli primarily, but the pepper and peach do add a very nice depth. Mostly warm, but the geranium always feel like such a cool stone flower to me so there is a nice contrast. I think the geranium and something else, possibly the musk are giving it a little soapy feel, not a bad thing on it's own.

The black currant must be from the berry and not the leaf/bud because the "green" parts of black currant always turn to cat pee on me and this did not, though I'll admit I never quite found the berry either, I just know there was no cat pee.

This feels like a nighttime party scent, the sort of thing wafting around in the background of a James Bond casino scene, maybe.

DeeDeeRay1025

I too smell soap in this. A matter of fact has a distinct Dove bar soap smell. Not only that it made me feel nauseated all day long. Other then that I did like it, and my hubby LOVED it.

fragrances-fanatic

I got a sample and it's my first time smelling this. Or is it?? My first impression was, oh yeah...I recognize this right away. I've smelled it in the department store air while out shopping. The first note I'm getting is the lilac, and it's a lovely lovely lilac. The patchouli and jasmine join in a few moments later and now it's giving me Coco Mademoselle vibes. But the patchouli isn't making my nose itch as much as the patchouli in Coco Mademoiselle. This strikes me as a "fancy" perfume to wear when you're feeling sexy and confident, when you want to get noticed, for a date or a night out, or an important work meeting or conference when you want your confidence to shine. Very feminine.

NOT discontinued to the best of my knowledge!

Siv7Stars

I've come back to this very late in the day.. I think it's discontinued now? I tried it when it first came out, but at the time just thought meh. It didn't interest me but I'm revisiting the past generally at the moment as I really don't want to live in the present. It could be found in pretty much every perfume shop everywhere n I decided I would get it for the bottle mostly, before it disappears into the perfume shop in the sky. It's bright lilac, peach n berries over patch, the powder is almost off radar. It feels different to most of the rest of my collection to me but I'm not sure what's setting it apart.. it seems amiable so far..

eloquent

I smelled this on paper in the store and I loved it. It smelled like an evil lady. However after spraying it on myself at home, it smells so different. The best way to describe it is like a deodorant that has been worn for a whole day that a slight armpit smell is present.

Juora16

I love this perfume. I get a nice juicy peach opening which dries down to such a lovely scent on me. I find this is an easy fragrance for me to reach for when I want something a little sexier and warmer for the cooler months. I think it’s worth getting a sample of!

alisha-gabrielle

For Gucci, I don’t think it’s that strong or long lasting atall. Not really worth the money. Kinda gives me Michael Kors sexy amber vibes. It is a nice smelling perfume don’t get me wrong, it’s just not strong enough smelling for me. (Gives me a headache too!!) classy tones, good and suitable for job interview style

Torika

This was my first perfume ever that I absolutely loved for many reasons. I’d say my first real signature scent. I do get compliments wearing this. Has great sillage and lasts a long time on my skin. Another that I would also wear for nights out and I’d still be able to smell on myself the morning after lol.. definitely a fun, sexy vibe to it. I think this was my first perfume that didn’t give me headaches as well. It’s warm, mature and spicy. Lots of good memories from my 20s with this one.

caitlinm

It's fine. I got this from Scentbox and it just smells like a generic department store perfume on me. It has a musky green smell that I like, but probably not enough to buy at full price. My initial test spritz on my wrist radiated through my whole arm. I don't know for longevity right now since I haven't had the chance to wear it out but I can imagine it would be pretty good because of how initially intense it is.

GingerP

I got this for Christmas. This is on my to try before buying list since it’s recommended by Kathleen lights. Patchouli has never been easy on me, it always gives me a strong headache. I tried to like this but just on the first use alone it gave me a terrible headache.

It’s nice sans the patchouli 😔
Anyone wants to buy it on a lower price?

sassa7

This is for the EDT. It starts off sharp like Lady Million of Paco Rabbane, must be the common patchouli amber combo and also Rihanna's Reb'l Fleur has that same sharp opening that im not a fan of and it has patchouli amber as well. Thank God it calms down quickly and then I get a light powdery and peppery floral sweetness that's very elegant and not too mature not too juvenile. Idk why but its powderiness reminds me of makeup and lipsticks. Id go for this perfume if i were to be out in the open and not in a room, only cuz out in the air it smells so much better to me. Its drydown is very peachy and lilac to my nose, this is why it kiiiinda reminded me of Reb'l Fleur's drydown (has peach too), but theyre totally different compositions, they have the same base notes tho and I think theyre in the same family of youthful mysterious fruity florals with a touch of purple in them (lilac and black currant in Gucci, plum and violet in Reb'l Fleur). I ended up liking Gucci Guilty and like I said I can appreciate its beauty out in the clean air, winter or summer. I wore it in 25 degree weather while snowing and i loved it.

IvyofPoison

For some reason, I always seem to get compliments when I'm wearing Guilty. It's a very feminine and powdery scent, perfect for all occasions whether you're out on the hunt looking for a new boo or if you're just going to work. It's quite inoffensive and I'm a big fan of the dry down. On me, the patchouli stands out as does the lilac. The only downside is that it's not the most long-lasting fragrance (3-4 hours) but a beautiful scent nonetheless.

R0x0lana

I bought this one when it was fairly new. I loved it and I do remember recognizing it on others, so I can say it is definitely a unique and recognizable scent. Maybe for those that like loud perfumes and they were expecting something totally different from the Guilty name, this one was a bit disappointing.
For me it smells like a very feminine modern floral scent. I smell lilac mixed with jasmine with slight spiciness. The dry down surprises with a little sweetness - vanilla.
I like it in winter, or colder weather. I like lighter scents, so it works for me.
Oh, I should add I like the bottle. My kids (boys) think it is the coolest one that I have :).
The sprayer is not the best.
When I finish this one, I may try a flanker of GG.

Annisanurfitr

I got this from my boyfriend as a gift and I love it!!! It's a soft spicy that smells little bit soapy in my nose (probably because of patchouli) with a hint of warm orange in dry down. It smells elegant, laidback, feminine, and perfect for night out. Too bad it doesn't last long in my skin.

MiaKarmelle

This perfume smells like a hot model who is smoking a cigarette after having bathroom sex in a Miami club after downing expensive booze. It literally smells like a party and made me feel like a bad party girl in my 20s. I’m not a party girl, nor am I in my 20s, so I gave it to my cousin who is.

Mona708

I like how this has the faint powdery start before the fruity and floral notes come in. I also like that it's not just overwhelmingly sweet like some of the newer perfumes are. It's a good scent for pretty much any occasion; as long as you don't bathe in it, you can wear it pretty much whenever you want. I wish it lasted a bit longer, though.

maybe: hendrix

this scent has always been my "secret weapon." more of a fall, winter, night time scent especially when going out for the night with friends or a date. I've always gotten comments on it and even one from a friend who hated the smell of it from the bottle but then loved it on my skin later on. it's feminine but not too much (which fits me very well) and it makes me feel confident and sexy... so much so that I love to spray some on myself as I'm getting ready. it can be VERY intense though so don't overdue it with the spritzes, keep it light and mysterious and I assure you it will draw people in.

Naomie

This is a special scent, for me it has the DNA of Gucci Bamboo and Gucci Rush mixture added some sweetness to it. It is great for daytime busy day running around and enjoying the colours of autumn 🍂 Playful and energetic, long lasting as well, great value for price. I would also add to the review if anybody is looking to gift a perfume this one would impress anybody as it’s very easy going.

Cataddicted

A truly incomparable scent. I love that it’s called guilty, sounds sexy, yet still classy and mischievous. It contains pink pepper, which gives it that little bit (but not too much) spice. A really pretty, classy looking bottle too.

TammyRoxanne

On me this perfume is so faint. And the light scent that I can actually smell has faded away in a couple of hours. But what I have noticed is that the opening for at least 10 minutes is a light licorice scent, like anise. After searching through the hundreds of reviews on here, I finally saw one other person who mentioned the licorice! So I’m not the only one! :) Then I noticed some people saying it reminded them of diapers, and as I smelled it again, I got it! Yes a baby powder scent. Probably the lilac. It’s quite a pretty, ordinary scent and as I mentioned VERY light and faint. (Today was my third time testing it and I even sprayed more than usual.) I agree with other reviewers that the name does not fit this perfume. It’s not guilty, it’s the most innocent thing I’ve ever smelled :) I mean, it is lovely even though I can barely smell it, so I’ll finish out my sample but I won’t purchase a larger size.

Amelia1809

I'm wearing this perfume now after finishing Chanel Chance. Nice flower scent. Very feminine and confident at the same time. Good longevity and moderate silage. Perfect for office work fragrance!

Fruity in the beginning, then softened down to the spicy lilac. This is lovely, but fades way too much...no sillage whatsoever. This would be the perfect office fragrance, inoffensive and fresh, but not big or noticeable for a date night (as I was hoping). This is a clean, polite floral.

divakitty24

~ I am the minority here , I spritzed a few minutes ago { about 5 } and it is already gone " poof " on me . My skin just ate this up literally with no afterthought . Ha ~ she is there , only when I place my wrist up my nose and inhale deeply , truly .The Lilac is the only hint of a note I get the most of , which I do like a lot as a main floral note . She would have been better on me as EDP instead of EDT. I only have a few EDT's because I did not look before purchase , I don't wear them well , I may have one or two that wear more like an EDP though which is always a gem to find . Most times vanilla is super strong on me , sometimes sickeningly so and is all I can smell . I got a hint of something , it could be the vanilla but I'm not sure , but if any other note is present besides the Lilac I can't really tell on me . Layering would be a waste of juice regardless of how she would wear , it just kills me that at the cost of GG ,I'd have to resort to layering , and no way of knowing if I'd get any benefit of layering unless I use a cheap scent . So after today's ordeal I'll place in my " does not work for me bin " which I'm proud to say only has about 4 in total . Hmm , I just realized two of those are Gucci , this one and Gucci Oud ~ and two Swiss Arabian ~ Unless I got a fake or a watered down bottle , GG has ghosted me ~///= ^ } ~ Boo

Lyndseymarie

I have always loved this fragrance. It smells expensive and lasts a long time on me unlike most perfumes. I find it perfect to wear to a nice restaurant or bar on an evening out. I think this perfume is very good value for money and I have received lots of compliments from both men and women.

Winterspring123

There is a unique, warm depth in this fragrance. Smells like home, a hug, soft cashmere sweater, falling leaves during October. Its very unique. One of a kind.

Imalthia

A powdery floral with some spice. This is classy, but also sexy without being too in your face. This would be a great nighttime going out scent for someone who prefers more lightweight perfumes and is not into the super heavy, loud, sweet orientals (like CH Good Girl, for example). The bottle is stunning, too!

Neckromancer

I'm not getting the baby note people are talking about. What I do smell is a very well-blended fragrance. I don't know how big the ad campaign for this scent was, because it smells to me like a pile of fashion magazines (in the best possible way). The drydown is such a creamy vanilla, and the top notes are floral and peachy, in an unobnoxious way. I find it sexy. Maybe not "Guilty" sexy, but sexy in a grown woman way.

ekowala7

Oh, if only this lasted longer! This fragrance is a gorgeous clean, powdery, spicy scent. The best way I can describe this is like a 'Lady in the streets, freak in the sheets'. It is clean but dirty, innocent but experienced, elegant but sexy.

When I first bought this years ago when it came out, all I could thin was that the longevity is horrific for the price, 4-6 hours. I want this to last so much longer, and if it did - I would always have a bottle. That being said, you can get a 100mL for under 60 right now, and for that price, it's worth it. Silage is soft to moderate.

Overall 7/10 - it's so pretty. Basic, but complex. Try before you buy and get it from a third retailers, don't pay full price.

flyergirl❤️perfumes

It would absolutely be named Gucci Innocent..Irrelevant of being Guilty. So flat, quite powdery vibe that I got from it.It is not bad, doesn’t impress me either..

CrazyRussianChick

Saw this few months ago at the Macy's and decided to try on. Ended up purchasing the bottle, even though there's nothing "guilty" about this fragrance. As many already have mentioned, it's clean, fresh, very nice scent. I don't detect anything even slightly spicy... Nothing special to write home about, just a beautiful fragrance in a beautiful bottle. Downside of the bottle - it gets tarnished where you keep touching it. Pain in the neck if you have OCD to keep polishing it after every use :)

Mickey764

Amazing!!!!
This perfume is elegant and sophisticated, definitely for a more mature women I feel (20-35). I'm not gonna lie though as others have stated they smell a clean fresh diaper... I get that 100%! Went and smelt a fresh Pampers newborn diaper and its spot on it has that fresh powdery smell. Although I still love it, its calming and warm and welcoming. Definitely one of my favs!

filmgirl79

Wow, I sprayed this last night before bed and over twelve hours later, I can still smell it. Crazy! I really love this soft, comforting scent, and the peach really stands out on me. I wish Gucci Guilty Absolute had this longevity but that one fades quickly on me.

JaimeLaParfum

This is a floral, slightly peppery scent. I like that it is sophisticated but still sweet. I generally wear it on club nights. Its pretty long-lasting and I've received compliments on it. To me, its a pretty basic scent and I probably would not repurchase. But, it is very nostalgic and it reminds me of a few good, long nights out. Overall, it is very pleasant, but I'm after more interesting scents these days.

noura148

This is simply clean fresh and light perfume, i like using it with other parfums or on its own if im doing stuff around the house, i get only flower notes on me snd reminds me of dior J‘adore.

Jasmindee

Smells clean, expensive and soapy.

The bottle and packaging are very nice and classy, but I wouldn't expect anything less from Gucci.

I just got through a bottle, and it was never something I raved about or reached for very often. It would be a very safe blind buy and gift. I agree with previous reviewers that said it smelled like expensive skin care. On my own mother, it smelled like some fancy hotel soap. Pleasant and feminine, but nothing that made us go "wow."

Personally, I wouldn't re-purchase. (I was gifted a bottle.) I think it's nice and easy-going, but it's nothing ground-breaking or sexy.

bel.gravia

A stronger character perfume of Lanvin Eclat d'Arpege. Do you know soft spring flowers? Do you know the heavy purple branches of lilies emitting that lovely scent of honey and wild wind? Gucci Guilty is an alluring, youthful fruity floral oriental elixir. If it was a fabric, it definitely would be grey silk, a grey silky dress - likely to become a new classic. Guilty? Not so much. No crimes commited, unless the crime is too many bees on a single lily tree. Or a forgotten peach.

Rosemary14

Wow, this is soft, clean, creamy, sweet, it smells like luxurious expensive moisturizer. It’s a peaches and cream delicate, clean, soft lilac. It’s quite musky and bordering on safe. Oh, heck it is safe. But it’s also tender and gentle like a sweet little baby. This is a great shower clean scent when you just want to smell nice. This has the cleanest patchouli I’ve ever smelled. It’s almost nonexistent. This is one of the least perfumy scents ever. It smells like a perfume lotion to me in a creamy laconic way. It has a nice warm amber and some vanilla. About an hour in the florals come out of this some more the lilac ramps up a little bit and it’s a little bit powdery. It’s got a little bit fruit but it’s very mild and quiet with a tiny bit of pink pepper.

Science&Scents

This was my going out frag of my early-mid twenties. I'm immediately reminded of cat eyeliner, bandage dresses and platform stilettos. I bought this at Sephora the same year it came out.

This one will always have a place in my heart: I love the lilac and fruity undertones of the peach. It's grown but fun...and a little expensive. I've since used up my original bottle but grabbed a little mini just to smell it every once in a while. I didn't feel the need to repurchase but I still liked it.

To my surprise, I smelled GG intense EDP and it's exactly the same. I don't even get a longevity increase--it's identical to the OG GG EDT. I'm not sure what that means for subsequent releases of the EDT but the EDP is just as lovely as the first release of the EDT.

GinCatsBooks

Guilty has always passed under my radar, and I have no idea why. Maybe it was because its packaging reminded me of Paco Rabanne Lady Million, which I love but managed to sicken myself on, who knows, but in late autumn 2019 I had a random craving to own Guilty, so I ended up purchasing myself a 50ml bottle.

Guilty is a predominantly lilac fragrance on me, with a bit of spice from the pink pepper and some mild, fruity, nectar like undertones from the peach, theres also a bit of powdery musk similar to the musk used in Narciso Rodriguez For Her. It reminds me a little bit of how make-up smells actually, but in a good way.

Longevity is very good on me for an EDT, I can easily get 7 hours wear out of this, and the silage is quite soft and wafty. It makes me feel like I'm wearing all black with black sunglasses, a black umbrella and a suitcase, because as inoffensive as Guilty smells, there is something that gives it an air of mystery.

I would repurchase Guilty when my current bottle runs out, but, I'm unsure of weather Gucci is dropping the EDT in favour of the EDP, the EDP though does smell pretty much identical to my nose, however :)

vitoriavigisacr

Not a fan. For me/on me, I detect overpowering clean-diaper with some floral notes.

moss_surrealism

My other favourite fragrance!

raiza1990

A warm and a bit powdery floral scent. It’s interesting, it’s soft but has something mysterious about it. it’s a nice fragrance. Not sexy and not the best from this line but pleasant. Could be someone‘s signature.
I imagine a well behaved young woman wearing it. She wants to explore her dark side but is still on the beginning of her journey.
Final note: 8/10

greentea45

i be almost used all the bottle , i tried to like it , but to me it smells only patchouli, plus the bottle broke by itself and cut my finger .. i have it for almost 6 years though.. i m glad it has come to an end finally !!

Lloves

My husband bought this for me for Christmas and I bought him the corresponding men's. It's more floral than what I normally go for but it's beautiful and as a lash tech it's a compliment getter from my clients. It's not groundbreaking but it's very pretty.

TheNoseOfMyths

Gucci Guilty will always have a place in my heart. I actually got my first bottle when I was around 13 from a clearance store and it came in a pack with lotion and shower gel.I remember being shocked to see something Gucci at a place like that so I quickly snatched it up and I LOVED it instantly. I wore it everyday during my freshman year of high school. Whenever I smell it I get flashbacks of rushing out the door and quickly spraying this on me with foundation still on my hands. This might of been a bit to mature for a 13/14 year old since I did have a friend once comment that I smelled like a old lady which made me a little self conscious wearing it but I still continued to anyway. It made me feel like I had my shit together at a time were I felt a bit lost and confused. I still love it to this day but I don't really wear it anymore its more of a nostalgia thing for me. Like a time capsule in a bottle. I even still have the same bottle I used all those years ago and it still smells the same.

Flacon-de-Bonheur

Guilty of what ? This is very soft, comforting and quiet. I like it very much. I even spray it in my pillow. Sweet lilac. Drydown reminds of Oscar de la Renta Rosamor.

indiglo

Just a test at Ulta - as a couple of other reviewers mentioned I got sandalwood on first sniff but it's not listed in the notes. Pleasant and fresh, clean patchouli, the fruit isn't overly sweet. I wouldn't have known the floral was lilac. Like, but not feeling inspired to buy.
Note: Not a good idea to spray and then return to closed car. Pretty 'fumey at first, husband no like. :)

auroramaria

I love the new EDP however this EDT still feels very special. It is not groundbreaking but with its sweet and a bit powdery base this smells so classy and gorgeous. The only downside is longevity so it nerds to be resprayed during the day

rchayes

I swear when this drys down, it smells like Armani Si. It must be the black currant and mandarin. Overall, this scent is expensive baby powder for women.

aegi

i love this. floral and powdery. definitely expensive smelling. i'd consider this a classic floriental. it's not groundbreaking nor unique in any sense , but it's beautiful and definitely a keeper. safe for both daytime and nighttime. not a huge fan of gucci fragrances but this one caught me. i got some compliments here and there as well. will be wearing this gem often :)

velvetflowers

I am in love with Gucci Guilty. Elegant, expensive, exquisite. So, so beautiful. It's floral and powdery, but not at all in an old-lady, cloying way!

I'm not familiar with lilac notes but I suppose that's the prominent floral note I smell. It's balanced out with a delectable mix of spices (pink pepper and patchouli especially) and very subtle vanilla. I can't detect any fruitiness in this despite the peach note. It doesn't have any 'greenness' to it either so it's not sharp at all. Actually, because of the vanilla, it is rather creamy, especially at the dry-down.

This perfume bears a resemblance to Elizabeth Arden's Untold but only at the initial spray. Untold is pure white floral and green to my nose and a little too mature for my tastes. Guilty is sweeter and deeper.

This scent lasts a good 5-7 hours (good enough since it's an EDT) on me depending on the weather. I find that the cooler the weather is, the longer it lasts and the more it projects. The beautiful thing about this scent is that it lingers. I wore it and it stuck on my clothes, on my pillow, on my bed—everywhere. It really does leave its mark. Not that I'm complaining!

Is it unique? Probably not, but it's memorable in its own way. Inoffensive but classy. A woman who wears this probably looks like they have their life figured out, and they're living their best life globe-trotting. I'll wear it to have that illusion of getting my life together (LOL).

Possible new signature scent.

mevans

I love the lilac in this. Having grown up with a lilac tree in the yard, it's so familiar and nostalgic for me. It's creamy and just a little sweet, an elegant scent that works for day or evening. I don't consider it a sexy perfume. Lilac is a strong note in it and not a particularly sensual one. But it is a gorgeous fragrance. It settles into a skin scent quickly and if you're looking for a perfume you can smell on yourself, this doesn't really do it.

AnitaHendricks

This perfume smells just generic to my nose. I neighter like or hate it. It doesn't interest me at all.

failedutopia

Seductive and glamorous. This wears like a classy gourmand on me, like sensuous buttercream made with liquor and white flower petals for decoration. The base notes of amber and vanilla really shine through in the best way possible, a sophisticated floral without being demure, sweet without being cheap. Both men and women seem to love this one, great if you need a confidence boost on a night out. It lasts forever on my skin, I could even get a trace of it after going in a pool.

Queen of torts

Love this times over. Was in the gas station one evening and the attendant filling up my tank asked what I was wearing. It was this and even with gas fumes, she could smell this on me. I layer this with BBW "Be Enchanted" body cream and sometimes the body mist.

natasha.wahyudihardjo

I have to bid Good Girl and Flowerbomb goodbye because I just found myself the perfect sexy fragrance that is Gucci Guilty. Everytime I spray this, I feel as if I was the most sinful temptress.

This is one scent that I think would suit both daytime and nighttime wear. With Good Girl and Flowerbomb, I have to be in the mood for them to actually wear them. But Guilty is good all the time. Shouldn't a good perfume have that effect on you?

The funny thing is, I did not realize this contains lilac. I knew it was floral from first sniff, though. I am going to stick with this one until I can splurge on Tom Ford's Jasmin Rouge!

minimal.vibes

This is a honest review:

I got this as a Valentine’s Day gift from my first boyfriend.

This is nice for evening activities, like going to the cinemas, going to your favourite live music bar, gastro-pub, etc.
It’s a city fragrance for the fellow city girls.

I got a lot of compliments from men, mainly older men (30-50 yrs old). Young men don’t seem to like this fragrance. (I’m 20 years old)

Notes are pink floral/flowers, patchouli, citrus, a hint of peach, vanilla?

It has a nice clean scent, it’s not a sickly sweet fragrance, but it’s feminine, laidback but still sexy.

I personally don’t wear this as often anymore as I feel like I have grown out of it, and gotten bored.
But it’s still very nice fragrance, I still wear it for casual evening dates.

JodieAx

just like the description says it is a very sexy glamorous scent. it suits a sexy , confident woman. its sweet and spicy and expensive smelling. I think it suits evening and nighttime wear. I would only wear it going out to dinner or drinks personally and when Im all glammed up.

Syrupsplash

I do like this scent, but unfortunately one of the notes in it was also used to scent a brand of baby diapers i used 16 years ago when my son was small so every time I smell it, i remember changing diapers lol....its sad because it is a pretty scent.

dglightblue

guilty edt in squared bottle vs the taller guilty edp in the new bottle

these arent the same scent with the edp lasting longer.
the edp in the taller bottle (like the silvery mens bottle shape) is more white floral fruity and other things.
the squared bottle is more florals and plastics with super gentle spices - can hardly detect them.

but i have reviwed this a few times already

LilyWhite14

I was kind of surprised to see the order of the notes listed in this. I get musky lilacs. I smell the peach and pink pepper in the background but I don’t know, they aren’t so prominent to my nose. I should add, fruity notes (although I love most, especially peach) are hardly ever the prominent notes on my skin. Now, although the peach is not prominent on my skin, I love the way it mixes with the florals. It really balances the lilac and pink pepper out. The peach note in this is definitely not overly sweet or syrupy, I would not even describe this as a fruity floral. It’s more of a musky peppery floral in my opinion. I definitely don’t think you’d like this if you don’t like lilac or pink pepper, but if you don’t like fruity scents, I would definitely still give this a try. This scent is hard to describe as you can see from this awful review, but I would highly recommend trying before buying. It’s a very beautiful, feminine scent in my humble opinion, but probably not for everyone. It lasts a long time for me, over 8 hours.

dglightblue

Yep tried it again, still a dirty white floral, I agree with the floral, soft spicey, soft patchouli. Other accords in background and I don’t notice them.
A dark floral
Good

dglightblue

gucci guilty edt
summer going into autumn so cooling off
about three sprays or four to inner elbow - bung tester running out, got a good amount in the end tho.

i have tested this before and thought i had a fake - it was soo weak compared to the tester bottle, today i dont know that i feel the same - the tester bottles are exposed to light and use and i think it makes some scents bloom a little more.

this scent is like a cool but deep and slightly substantial dirty white floral. not animalic in a grubby way, i think it might be the patch?? i had not read the accords earlier.
this is not dewey like gucci bloom. this one is sort of just as rounded and deep, but like i said, it has a dusky rounded woody? depth.

wasnt keen earlier but would happily wear these days
reasonable sillage, longevity too i guess, i have had a good three hours and its lingering on clothes and skin just fine

Phantomias

I don't get the hype over this one. GG is a generic floral scent with average performance. If lilac wasn't named in the pyramid I wouldn't know it was supposed to be there. There's a fair bit of musk though, the nasty cheap kind.

All in all GG is hype over substance. I haven't liked a Gucci perfume yet and GG is no exception.

aqua76239

I have written reviews on this before, already owned a bottle and i am on my second one, got it today as matter of fact.
. I always get lilacs right away and its one of my favorite notes. But almost right away it goes into pink pepper and citrus, and because this fragrance never lasts on me, amber and patchouli which is warm and close to the skin. Its not a sweet scent and i am a gormand person. None the less i still like a lot but it basically a skin scent on me, unless i spray myself like i would with a body spray. Its crazy. I see that it doesn't last on other people either.
I think i may try Intense version next when it gets to my town because i feel like its a scent worth having in my collection since its so appropriate for basically anywhere.
I have edt btw

today it finally downed on me what it reminded me of-Hermes Eau de Merveilles. Not top notes with lilacs but more of a drydown.

tenten

This is the perfect perfume. It's feminine but not floral or fruity. It gives me the feeling I used to get when unwrapping a new toy on xmas day as a child..that smell of newness. Or the feeling you get when you sit in a new car (I hope I'm doing it justice lol). This one smells like money. Picture going for drinks in some tight jeans and high heels...this is how you want to smell. Effortless and rich. If I could only have one perfume till the end of time this would be it.

Trishness

Seriously loved this fragrance when I spritzed it on at Ulta this afternoon.....Those citrus & raspberry top notes, oh MY! Then the floral lilac, peach and pepper. Then the soft powdery patchouli and vanilla...all which I love. But all those wonderful smells faded fast and just 2 hours later I can hardly smell it on my skin. Not sure if I tried an eau de cologne or an EDT but maybe I need to try an eau de parfum to see if it lasts longer. Really love the notes on this one though

Punkrockbebop

I love this perfume. I just wish it were stronger on my skin. It has a lovely, sharp and spicy, bright opening, with lovely exotic florals of lilac, jasmine, black currant and peach. But unfortunately it dies down to almost a skin scent on me. Enough projection to detect if you are close. As fleeting as the real flowers upon the night air, I suppose. I just want to smell more of this beauty!

mrezayipour

I had it two year ago. Honestly it was something ordinary. I don’t know but maybe there is something that makes it unwearable for me. It is very peachy. Best use in office and ofcourse during spring and early autumn.

KrissyKris

I like it but not sure I would wanna buy this perfume. Def should not be a blind buy. The opening was sharp and it settled down nicely. It reminds me of a weaker version of Poison! But while I love Poison this one smells better on other people than myself...

jellybeantree

Growing up I spent a lot of time with Grandma and next to her house was a lilac bush . I would bring her some lilacs and she always put them on the table and her house smelled of lilacs and cigarette smoke . I loved it . The fragrance reminds me somehow of her . The pepper s spicy and that reminds me of the cigarettes and the lilac . So wonderful.
This fragrance doesn’t smell like Tabbaco at all. This is just a scent memory I have of my grandma . This perfume is really perfect for all year round . It’s beautiful.

LaurieVainilla

I bought my first bottle when I was seventeen (shortly after it was released), and although the store attendant said it was a more mature fragrance, I wanted it badly because I needed to transmit just one message on my prom night:

I'm not a little girl anymore

And this fragrance delivered that message beautifully. Now I'm on my mid-twenties and I still can smell the same feeling whenever I wear it.

lmwimsatt

If you want a cheap dupe buy victorias secret very sexy temptation

justfloral

1st spray: Pur Blanca + Cinema. Gourmand Pur Blanka.
lilac + trace of freesia? and peony? + benzoin/vanilla (sweetness of Cinema). Too sweet.
After 15 minutes: pink pepper + cinnamon? appears from behind Pur Blanka flowers. Now it's ok.
After 30 minutes: pink pepper. For ultimate pink pepper lovers.
Longevity could be better.

meg0825

Gucci fragrances are so good! I haven't tried one yet that I didn't like. Guilty is sweet, spicy, and warm with pink pepper, lilac, patchouli, and amber. Very sensual and feminine. I can't wait to try the new Guilty Pour Femme that comes out in 2019. I wonder what the notes will be?

shusha

I've tried it twice now (thinking the first time it was possibly faulty) and disappointingly both times it disappeared within an hour. It is a lovely fresh and sweet scent, but its longevity renders it hugely overpriced. I seem to love most Gucci perfumes as they are masterfully blended and balanced, but there isn't anything remarkable about Gucci Guilty to justify the purchase given its longevity. I love the scent, but strongly advise trying it.

Thoriq Dorz

My decant just arrived here
My 1st impression =
1st spraying = floral + citrus vibes
Drydown = kind of powdery smells and some of woody vibes definitely

More review will be updating soon

Arabian Girl

Like many reviews have stated here, the opening is the best part about this perfume. Sadly, after a while you're left with a cold synthetic, unimpressive, inexpressive, floral smell.

Not guilty.

Freckleface

I first discovered this one when i was on work. A customer came inn and i have never in my life smelled something so mysteriuos, sexy, clean and good! I gave the customer compliments, and later i couldnt resist the need to know what perfume she was wearing. She told me it was a gucci perfume, and i ordered the one as soon i was finished my shift.

This is my one and only, hands down the perfume of my life!

Palebluedot4

Nja. Pigg syren först men doften utvecklades trist på mig och slutade upp i menlös akvatisk doft.
