Gucci Premiere by Gucci is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance for women. Gucci Premiere was launched in 2012. Top notes are Bergamot and Blackberry; middle notes are White Flowers, Musk and Orange Blossom; base notes are Woody Notes, Sandalwood and Patchouli.

"Inspired by timeless Hollywood glamour and fronted by a modern icon – Blake Lively, this new fragrance is an invitation to embrace one’s own red carpet moment."

The new Gucci fragrance Premiere is inspired by the beautiful gowns from the Gucci Premiere couture collection shown at the 2010 Cannes Film Festival.

"Gucci Première celebrates the star in every woman. Whether she is holding court at a film opening or business meeting, all her moments are golden. She turns as many heads in an impeccably tailored suit as a couture gown. Grace sits with attitude, beauty with power. She enjoys her achievements and wears her authority with ease. Wherever she finds herself, she is met with admiratione. She is a modern icon."

Frida Giannini said: “For such a successful woman, something equally remarkable was required. Gucci Première is womanly, intriguing and as seductive as the perfect couture gown.”

TOP: bergamot, orange blossom; The fragrance opens with the luxury and exuberance of a vintage champagne. A burst of effervescent bergamot fused with feminine and celebratory orange blossom conveys the heady excitement of the red carpet entrance.

HEART: white flowers, musk; At the scent’s core nestle the brilliant white flowers of an intense bouquet, laced with a magnetically sensual modern musk. The timeless allure of the leading lady, the perfect balance of sensuality and power, inspires a collective captured breath.

BASE: leather, wood; The fragrance’s warm and indulgent foundation rests in a beguiling cocktail of subtly smoky leather and creamy balsamic woods that epitomises absolute glamour.

EDP 30ml, EDP 50ml, EDP 75ml, Body Lotion 200ml, Shower Gel 200ml, Deo Spray 100ml.

PhantomBelle

This is one of the more 'meh' perfumes I own. It's rather heavy, the middle and base notes are all that stick around after the initial spray and after a few hours it turns into a linear musky/woodsy scent that's not pleasant.

'Generic in a Gucci high-end kind of way' is a perfect explanation of this fragrance.

I would pass on this one, it's dated and easy to forget. Purchased from: Dillard's

girldeadbug

I got a bottle of this dumpster diving years ago. The bottle was beat to hell so I didn’t feel like trying to sell it. I never heard of anyone talking about the scent anyway.

What I can say about it, is it is strong. Beast mode. Your scent bubble will be huge and you’ll leave a scent trail that sticks around. I’d rather apply this outside than anywhere indoors. I love strong fragrances but I just find this one intrusive.

My partner says he hates florals, yet he actually likes to wear this one. I ended up really disliking it though and hid it from him, lol.

Lovely246

As others have said this is a very basic scent which works for me since I happen to be a basic b. If, however, you are looking for something unique or interesting you won't find it here. Someone below said that this smells like a rich auntie with a french manicure and I do think that's pretty spot on. It smells very much like the blonde upper middle class mom at school pick that drives a white suburban, always has her hair and makeup done and , at this point in time, never leaves the house without her Uggs and her Stanley travel mug.

sabs1205

Gucci Premiere was my go-to date night perfume. I felt so sexy and warm wearing this. The orange blossom perfume of goddesses! Miss this one…

Arina8Sierra

This is a nice perfume for someone who only wants a very light & soft scent. It’s has a soft floral scent, but other than that it is very simple & boring for those who are after a bolder scent. It is not unique & is very weak, so I would personally not recommend this perfume to anyone.

Angelbdivine

It smells like an expensive hairspray. I see this scent on a rich 30-something that spends her weekends at the spa; and regularly goes to that hip salon in the city for blowouts. Its a simple, linear scent. It’s not my vibe but, It definitely oozes rich auntie with a fresh French manicure.

maddieonline

This is pretty disappointing. It smells aggressive and harsh in the bottle, and on my skin at least it doesn't settle down to a more mellow fragrance. I don't get white florals, I get window cleaner - it also comes surprisingly masculine on my skin, hence why I have marked it as unisex as I do think that this can be worn by someone irrespective of gender. I got a free sample of this and expected to like it more than I do, but I think I'll struggle to finish the bottle.

Moodybear

It's smell just fine and I am disappointed as I was expected it should be better. This scent stays close to skin and disappear fast in a hour. I regret buying it.

htedohreci

Honestly, it smells like a mix of laundry detergent and hair spray. As if you accidentally sprayed your fresh, out-the-machine laundry with some hair spray while getting ready.
Its good, smelling from the bottle its annoying, but then u put it on and move around and the breeze is actually quite nice.

DT953

I owned this for a few months to a year and decided it was "fine". Like others have mentioned, I also came close to selling it tonnes of times but just couldn't bring myself to do it. This was before the Gucci renaissance, a period where most (if not all) scents being released by them were mid-range and boring. It's not really all that good a fragrance. It's not terrible, but it won't turn heads. I have this weird nostalgic attachment to it, but I think most of that comes from wanting something back after I let go. It's a good Spring time scent for when you don't want people to approach you and shout "Damn, you smell good!". I kinda wanna track it down again and give it another wear for old time's sake.

Shaina87

I've almost sold my bottle of this so many times. Then I wear it and I'm like.. No I'm going to keep it becausef it smells amazing on me. I just rarely reach for it out of the many fragrancs that I have. it opens with a bright and sweet citrus (bergamot) with a hint of the blackberry in the background. I definitely get that effervescent vibe on my skin. Then the white florals shine through while the sweet but also tart bergamot is still very much there. And it still smells bubbly. Once it dries down, the woodsy notes and the patchouli comes out. But for me, the bergamot and white florals remain trough out the entire wear-time. The woody-ness adds some depth and makes it smell so sophisticated. Its giving rich, boss bitch vibes. And I'm so down with it. It's a unique and beautiful scent. The bottle is tacky but I'll put up with it since I really enjoy the juice

RetroPickle

Can't even describe what this smells like only that it is unlike anything I've ever smelled and super sexy. I first smelled this on my sister when I was in middle school and I had to have it too. Sadly discontinued but I still have some juice left and I wear it on special occasions and brings back so many memories. It's a perfect date night scent ❤

AutumnJewel

I loved everything about this fragrance I wish I could get my hands on another bottle !

EspressoAddict

I had walked into a store in a bad mood. My day was hectic and i had decided to take a five minute break to pop into a perfume store on my way and get a few suggestions for woody perfumes. I got a few tester strips, had two sprayed on my wrists, and off i was again.

A short time later as i was rummaging through my bag i got a whiff of something tasty. I looked around me confused because that particular confectionary i smelled wasn't popular around this place, and, to my knowledge, there was no store selling candy anywhere near.

A few blocks away i smelled it again, as i was trying to remove my hair from my face. It was one of the perfumes i had sprayed on my wrists! Over the course of the next couple hours i couldn't get enough of it- it smells like black licorice! My afternoon was made even more hectic as i tried my hardest to be done with everything fast enough that i would have time to visit the perfume shop before it closed so i could sacrifice my funds to acquire a bottle of Premiere. It definitely wasn't the woody perfume i went looking for but this unexpected scent of my favourite black licorice was all it took to convince me.

I still have no idea why it smells like black licorice on me. There are no notes to suggest it could smell like it, but i am not complaining.

It lasts a moderate amount of time on my skin, at least six hours, without leaving behind much scent on the clothes. It projects quite prominently during the first hour or so, but eventually it starts to stay closer to the skin. It disappears quite suddenly, because even though it's intensity dies down alongside the projection, it doesn't really become fainter and fainter until it disappears, it just stays there until suddenly you realize you can barely smell it anymore....

Alice Greenfingers

This is such a strange perfume. It is not modern but also does not feel outdated. It is full of contradictions. For me this will be my office scent. It feels safe enough. The citrus gives it freshness that makes it ok for spring and summer. The musk and woody notes make it more interesting and make both the citrus and white flowers more bearable for me and less boring. I feel like I should dislike it but I don't. My husband said it smells like laundry. I don't think this is always a bad thing. It is a bit sad that the perfumes I love are rarely office safe but this is surprisingly acceptable safe choice.

correspondencepersonal

I remember spritzing this perfume on my wrist, shortly after it was created. This is a gorgeous perfume ON.
You can't trust something like perfume to just smell on a card stock paper, you really need to try this on your skin.

This is like an algebra equation.
A + B = C

A = Perfume
B = Your Chemistry/YOUR SKIN
C = The Aroma that happens when the perfume intermingles with the skin

This was truly fabulous on my skin when I tried it.
Definitely worth exploring further.

Oh heavens, has it come to THIS?
I'm finally USING ALGEBRA!

It is a MIRACLE - of sorts!

LolliMolly09

Weirdly astringent floral. It irritates my nose and throat. Harsh, powdery, dry, mature. A hint of pepper.

DaniBear1121

The leather and wood notes shine in this one, making it different and sexy. This is a tough fragrance to describe. It smells expensive to me, it's balanced well, the patchouli is barely ther (which I prefer), and it isn't heavily floral or dainty. This is more unisex I'd say but a statement fragrance for sure. It was a love at first sniff for me.

SummerRose

This is my absolute favourite Gucci perfume. This is quite elegant and flirty with great longevity and sillage. A LOVE for me. It draws me in and puts me in a Happy Place. I will always have this in my collection!

LunaRose

This smells like everyone's fluffy-haired glamorous aunt in the late 1990s. A powdery and indistinct musky floral.

Pez_Enelrio

It has some of the gucci by gucci DNA but is also like a mix of gucci bamboo and armani mania, it is sophisticated yet playful, lasting but not projecting too much. Nice signature scent material

JoLeenS80

I smelled this in a magazine and loved it. Unfortunately, it does not sync with my body chemistry. I love the bottle and it sits on my makeup stand and looks pretty.

jadepo21

Meh. As others have said, it's not offensive but not stellar. Anyone could wear it. It's very floral and a little masculine for my personal taste, which is an odd combo. There are so many other scents on the market that are this exact dynamic. It's a little blah.

fyetan

Pleasant, inoffensive, but very forgettable white floral fragrance with a touch of freshness from the bergamot.

It's not loud but not quiet, not screechy but not particularly high-quality smelling, just very very average in all respects.

Probably a safe blind buy and a safe gift, but if you have anything in the white floral category already then you probably don't need this.

Cataddicted

I really do like this scent. It has a nice, floral smell about it, but I don’t think it should be under the name ‘premiere’. It is not a ‘premiere’ scent in my mind... It is a very nice scent, but it isn’t something I’d go out of my way to purchase. I tend to like originality in my scents - and this one has a very nice scent, but not a very special standout scent. If you like your scents that don’t stand out too much, but have a nice lingering floral smell about them, I think you’ll like this scent.

LadyLicorice

I smelled this blind. I have to say its a strong like.
but the notes I get are not the notes listed.
this is neroli, salt and ambergris to me
I love the sparkling bright opening that quickly mellows into a salted skin scent.
I find it unisex and gave it to my male friend to use.

Amascent

This is nice, pleasant, soft and easy to wear. it's crisp, yet made warm with the black berry. musky fresh makeup counter scent. It's a good office day wear scent. Will have you feeling refreshed and great.

octobertragedy

I got this fragrance in 2014. I LOVE it! This is one of the best citrus floral fragrances I've ever tried. It smells like lemon zest, sweet-sour fruits, green fresh cut leaves and white flowers. The drydown is a very sensual mix of musk, sandalwood and leather. I really don't get the "chemical" notes other reviewers talk about. It's true that if you don't like lemon or citrus in general, this is not for you.
I find this is a classy, extremely fresh, sparkling summer scent. I always wear this in very hot days, because it's soo cooling and in the same time it's giving me a sense of glamour.
I love the bottle, I think the golden shade speaks for itself.
Incredibly long wearing for a citrus fragrance, 7-8 hours.

Rookie9

I remembered why does it smell so synthetic. Some of the notes definitely smells like nail polish! In this case, it may be a very wise action of a Gucci marketers. Because when women smell a nail polish they maybe think: "Oh, it is definitely a good perfume!" But, all other think it is just disgusting.

meg0825

Gucci Premiere has a lovely bergamot and orange blossom opening. It stays floral with a musky-woody-leather dry down. I really like the leather note in this. Classy and refined. Not too raw or masculine. This is a great office-type scent. Subtle and not at all loud or offensive. Very nice!

Rookie9

Synthetic, commercial, expensive. This is all you must know about it :-).

Ok. Smells not natural at all for my taste. Must be cheap, but this one is not. Smells like a bunch of harsh chemicals...

Anamandy

This is such a sparkling fragrance. From first spray to that floral musky blackberry dry down, is so effervescent. Just like Champagne. I wasn’t so sure about how all the notes would work in this, but I loved that fizzy quality right away.
It starts out a little bit fruity with the blackberry and bergamot prominent but then turns into soft florals that gets musky as it dries down. At this point the fruity notes have subsided somewhat and the florals come into focus. I swear, besides the orange blossom I also smell mock orange here. I grow 3 varieties of mock orange, so I know that scent. So beautiful! Then the wood joins in, but it’s very light and soft. This is not a sweet scent as in added sugar, but is naturally sweet from the florals and fruit, which the musk nicely balances out. It’s so clean and fresh and elegant in its simplicity.
I've come to love blackberry in some fragrances. I love it in Bvlgari Goldea, and I love it here. Silage is great. I just sprayed one wrist to test and can smell it clearly around me. I can’t attest to the longevity but it’s still going strong four hours after first application, so that’s a big plus too. I’m sure I’ll smell it for more. I’m so happy to own this truly beautiful scent.

Enas90

This is a nice perfume, not a favorite in my collection however, I am writing this review because for some odd reason it is the one I get complimented on the most by men, almost every single time I wear it.

If you are looking for a compliment getter, give this one a try.

Fragrance -Gucci Premiere Gucci edp
Bottle from - 2017

Gucci Premiere opens on my skin with a burst of fruity yet elegant bergamot laying on top of a musky and pleasant bouquet of white flowers.
Soon enough, bouquet of white flowers with dominant orange blossom becomes stronger with a hint of woodiness yet to come.
This all leads into a musky, woody and floral base.
There is nothing new about this fragrance and nothing you haven't smelled before but,be that as it may, this is a safe, pleasant and likeable scent.

comingtobe

It is a smell of an artificial sun made of pure gold with golden beams piercing the atmosphere. It is light, but very confident. For confident ladies with immaculate make-up and impeccable outfit.
Personally, I cannot smell any natural flowers and fruit. Gucci Premiere Gucci is just gold, sun and luxury.

gorjess

it was that time when i went on a date with my boyfriend and as i got in the car i unknowingly keep sniffing and leaning on him bcs he smell divine! i wonder what is that smell, is it his usual perfumes bcs he got plenty men frags and i dont think he has this particular scent. i keep guessing and guessing until i couldnt hold it anymore to finally asked him what he was wearing and i was so surprise that it was this gucci premier! and it is for woman!

wow im blown away. this smells sooo good on him. so calming, soft yet kinda fresh that everytime he uses this i cant stop my self sniffing at him lol

ericah12345

This is a very nice perfume. Not exactly outstanding, but I do like it. I especially enjoy the blackberry notes and the lovely white florals. I associate this with winter and date nights.

ellenastokman

As i remember trying this back in 2013, it smells fabulous! Pure lux, but last week, i tried gucci premiere again at 2 different store, sadly..it is not like how i remember it used to be. They really watered this down to weak silage.. despite the sale..i have to pass on this..sorry.

violetbelle

I always feel glamorous when I wear Premiere. It is so beautiful, cool and crisp, yet powdery. It has that sheer, amber-musk that reminds me of Stella, with orange flower & citrus instead of rose.

shusha

This one was just nice. Nothing special about it though I thought it smelled kind of mature and on the sweet side all the way through. It is well balanced and safe. I like it but think I will enjoy it more a decade down the line. Good sillage and longevity too.

MnM

I bought this about 3-4 yrs ago, a blind buy because of the bottle which I love, the fragrance is citrucy and synthetic, the notes are very diluted and completely boring. You lose projection fairly quickly. It smells cheap. I've used it probably 3 times hoping I feel different about it but I do not. Too bad.

Mbrock

All I get from this is a unisex woodsy, musky, slighlty spicy fragrance. Ive smelled a thousand things like this. I wanted to try this for a long time but its extremely disappointing. This perfume is on sexiest perfumes lists & people seem to really love it. I see nothing to it. It is is no way sexy, maybe on a man. It doesnt stand out & I doubt I would recognize it if I smelled it on someone else. It doesnt seem like any thought was put in to this perfume when making it. A big no for me & Im left wondering how these perfumes that are so raved about are such a let down once I finally try them.
*Downvote all you want. This is lackluster & other reivewers agree. Not worth the cost. I dont get people that downvote an honest review just because you think this perfume is good. You downvote if its not really a review, or its a 2 word review or its insulting. You dont downvote an honest detailed reivew.

takeasniff

Just purchased this. It doesnt share the same notes but keeps reminding me of kate moss perfume it has the same musky smell. I like it. The longgevity is quite weird I sprayed in morning at work and 1 hour later couldnt smell anything. I was very annoyed because it was quite expensive and edp. Later around 4 hrs I kept smelling what aeemed like the body shop white musk. I realised it was me. Now at lunch another 1 or 2 later it had a slight fruity smell wtf?? It also reminds me of Armani Diamonds on my skin. Very strange experience but definitely reminds me of kate moss velvet. I am enjoying it and even though the bottle looks like you cant see how much is left in it if you hold it up to light you can see ibto the bottle. Very nice I will have to try the edt just out of interest now. I would re-purchase as I enjoy this style of fragrance I think a male could wear this and it is suitable for most occasion except going to gym or sport I think it would smell a bit weird in that circumstance.

blessedgurl28

Classy fragrance. It doesnt seem floral to me . Id describe this like fruity with a musk base. Not very long lasting . Not noticable. This scent stays close to skin.

raiza1990

This one is strange. It opens with an artificial sweetness (not the good kind), later, it gets a bit powdery and i think i can smell a bit of white flowers and something green. This is completely different than what i expected. It is not really bad, but it is weird.
Try before you buy.

mennatullah.ahmed.mostafa

My best perfume

lulu169

@Timothy: you dont need to offend this perfume and people wearing it. Most people here are NOT prostitutes so dont know how the thing smells like. please, stay away with comments like this!

timothy5312543

Ok but to me this literally smells like ylang ylang lube from durex.
Much prefer the EDT even tho that one has no lasting power

SuzanneCA

This is my go-to frag when I attend a more dressy event. Very pretty, quiet - but always present. It borders ever so slightly on being a grandmotherly fragrance, but modern enough that it works for the younger set. Lovely, sophisticated scent.

TashevaNikol

Thats very very good perfume for all occasions.
I got it today 30 ml and so happy :)

Mrs.Allard

I bought a mini of this because of how it smelled like a "Fancy Drinks Party" on a tester strip that was sprayed for me at the mall. (Don't you hate when SAs take the liberty of spraying things that you are now obligated to try, without telling you what it is first?) Just smell it, it won't hurt. Anyways once I got the mini in the mail I was a little disappoint at how generic it smelled on my skin. It's all white florals and a slight mingling of champagne. I guess I expected it to be more alcoholic and less floral.

s_simms1234

I bought this perfume a couple of years ago because I had a voucher for a department store and I wanted to spend it. I really liked this perfume at first because I thought it was seeet and feminine and it works well with my skin chemistry. I did get sick of this fragrance pretty quickly though, I still liked it enough to wear it but I wouldn't buy it again. Is it just me or do a lot of Gucci fragrances have some note in them that makes them kinda similar on the dry down, Gucci Premiere reminded me of Flora and Rush in a way.

shannfernando

Got this as a gift.. I was looking for Gucci by Gucci and my sweet ex boyfriend got me this mistaking it to be Gucci by Gucci. The two are nothing alike. This is terrible. My mom took after my relationship with my ex ended and even she couldn't stand it. I much prefer the newer Gucci Oud and even Gucci Bamboo to this. (Yes I am aware they are completely different smells). This to me, just smells like hairspray mixed with nailpolish remover and sugarless lime soda water. DISGUSTING! Would not recommend and I wont purchase for damn sure.

GUCCI DISCONTINUE THIS AND BRING BACK GUCCI BY GUCCI AND GUCCI II FOR GOODNESS SAKE!

cocolover56

I smell this and think something along the lines of 'sure, it's pretty - but is that it?'

Nice-ish white floral with a bit of a dirty undertone. Dries down to a sandalwoody and not really describable fruitiness. Doesn't smell entirely natural or unnatural. The blending is just passable. Subpar.

I'd probably give this a 4/10

Not up to scratch, comparing it to other Gucci masterpieces imho.

celia46

Today I was wearing this perfume and my mother asks me with intrest what I'm wearing. She told me this one reminds her a perfume her aunt used to wear, call Bond Street.
In her opinion Premier it's classy and refined. Evidently she associated it with a scent from the past

While to me the scent it's modern and synthetic (in a good way). I almost can visualize a young professional, leading a significant project, smelling sexy, modern and confident.

ashypie2004

The first blast is a bit hairspray-y but once it calms down this is gorgeous on me. I use this a lot for night but I also like it for daytime in winter. You have flowers, woods, freshness, and patchouli working harmoniously...not fighting each other, and it's lovely. This is my most complimented fragrance. A scent for a confident, grown woman. No silly tropical fruits, no vanilla, perfection!

lilah_rouge

I am not super enthusiastic about this one. Maybe because I chose it together with my college who turned out to be not a nice person which was such a diasappointment.
Well, this is hardly the perfume's fault...
Anyway, this is a very powedery and quite not sweet smell on me. I cannot really smell any of the flowers. I could not say how it smells even if I used 20 ml up already. I would say there is some class in that and elegance, but still, not a balanced scent, at least not on me.
I would say I will use up what left in the bottle and then Gucci Premiere will not be re-purchased by me. It was an interesting meeting with this perfume, but really not so memorable...
Ahh, and noone gave me any compliments on this one... I also don't like it anymore.
7/10 all in all

ailimeavolokin

Smells vapid. Lacks fancy, lacks fantasy.

For The Love of Perfume

I really love this fragrance. It is a very clean, fresh floral scent with a touch of musk and just a hint of sweetness. I find that it is a very safe scent to wear. Nothing overbearing. It is an everyday scent, even good to wear to the office. I even spray it on my hairbrush and brush it through my hair.....my husband just loves it!!

snoopyQ

First hit is very alcoholic and synthetic, then ...Jasmine and fruit settle in more and more....
the result is a fresh, somewhat generic, clean white floral scent.

For me it is not intresting enough...My senses are yearning for more excitement.
it........ lacks.....something....(for me..probably powder.....hahahaha)
Longevity is moderate sillage moderate, low.

zapling

boring... all these flowers, pah. not my cup of tea.

juliajulep

Very elegant refined floral. Strong musky and sandalwood notes. A bit powdery in the finish. Its sexy in a understated way. This is a woman who is super seductive, ut not showy at all, she shows no cleavage or legs but oozes pure seduction. Shes the lady smoldering in a dark red dress at the classy bar, wine in hand, while her wild sister Gucci Rush is dancing at the hottest clubs in town, downing shots. Classy, ultra feminine, sexy yet very fitting for the office. very Gucci. Only gripe- longevity is very bad for a designer.

anandayu

I was looking for a replacement of my signorina eleganza, decided not to get the same fragrance but still in love with the type of smell: flower woody musky
Then I found it in a shop downtown, firstly in love with the bottle and then realize that the bottle design is notging compared to the scent inside
OMG this is just perfect!!
A level up of signorina eleganza, making me feel so special, sophisticated, independent but gorgeous and seductive at the same time
No matter how I dress up or whats the occasion is, this perfume will upgrade my confidence to 3 levels higher
It lasts quite long on my skin and hijab
Very good investment

dyaver

Nice, pleasant, inoffensive, feminine, office-friendly fresh-floral with warm woody notes fragrance. Good for a gift and a blind buy. Nothing extraordinary, but one can't dislike it.

Fiury22

Just amaizing, smells sophisticated

Barbellsandperfume

This smells like powdery vanilla to me. I love it, I just wished it lasted longer on the skin.

rozalia.ignatova

Nikinoo

This juice is one of my favorite by Gucci. One thing though you must wait for the dry down because that is where the magic is at. A soft subtle powdery leather is what it smells like on my skin the initial blast is nothing like what the scent evolves into. If you like subtle woody soft leathery scents you will definitely like Gucci Premiere.

ZBear

I was actually looking for a replacement for my D&G La Lune, realized it was discontinued, came across the Premiere EDT at the Gucci... and the SA at Saks gave me the EDP instead.

I didn't realize that it was the wrong thing until I opened it and sprayed it. The EDP is a little more woodsy than the EDT.

Slightly non-descript floral-woody fragrance... as other reviewers have noted, it is not a big fragrance like the ad campaign would have us believe.

To my nose, it is a cross between Flora and Guilty, except not as sweet as Flora and not as sharp as Guilty. Safe for the work place, as Premiere has small sillage. Lasting power is not great - maybe 2 hours before it becomes a skin scent.

Bottle is pretty. Price point is a bit high at full price ($115 for the larger bottle). Overall, a nice perfume, but doesn't captivate me.

EDIT: I think Premiere is growing on me. There is definitely something classy and elegant about it, without being over the top or too strong. Also, now that the weather has cooled off a little, it does seem to last a couple of hours longer on my skin. A great work scent.

Addict2Perfume

Gucci Premiere by Gucci opens with a cool citrus blast of lime with a hint of tart blackberry and fresh white flowers. It gently mellows to a sweet orange blossom and a woody musk base. I love white florals, but sometimes they can be too elegant/dressy for everyday wear and I think that Gucci Premiere is there perfect everyday/casual white floral. I feel like Gucci marketed this as like a “ball gown” fragrance and it can definitely be worn as a night-out-on-the-town scent, but can just as easily be worn with a t-shirt and jeans. I like that the bottle is gold yet when you hold it up to the light, you can still see how much you have left in the bottle. Over all this is a very nice and versatile scent!

warlockss

this smells so good it smells edible . its got this deep irresistible fruity fragrance that you feel like eating . this can pass as a unisex fragrance .

zoranna

I suppose that I feel I am going to damn this scent with faint praise as it's not special enough for me to buy a whole bottle. However I do love it in a way - it's very easy to wear and I am a fan of woody floral musk. Normally the citrus would ruin the composition for me however this seems to be blended wery well, perhaps the creamy balsamic base pulls it all together. I cannot detect leather in the scent. No particular note announces itself too loudly, I feel as if I could take a bath in it and it still wouldn't offend anyone. I think it's comforting and it does feel like there's a small, elegant twist in there; not enough to justify the bottle or the overblown description; I certainly wouldn't wear it on a red carpet! More likely in my dressing gown at bedtime (which is a huge compliment because despite owning a ridiculous collection of scents there's only one I wear to bed - Narciso EDP). It's the kind of thing that I would probably seek a good dupe of instead, however no-one makes one that smells close enough which is surprising! So, in summary on me it's a comforting smell for anytime wear. But life is too short not to make a bit more of a statement with my perfume choices...I can't play it this safe :)

lilah_rouge

Elegant and nice smell. Bergamot and leather gives it an elegant vibe. It is a relatively strong and long lasting smell. It gives confidence to wear it. But still, not that special...

Renata tang

The musk is so strong that cause me nauseating.

scratchnsniff29

This smells really nice. I sometimes layer it with Black Opium that combo is amazing!

GeorgiaMoxie

I love this stuff. Premier truly does remind me of champagne and the effervescence of the bergamot is almost bubbly and instantly makes me feel happy. There's something about the champagne note that feels both classy yet kind of playful at the same time that I love. The drydown lends a bit of an unexpected warm honeyed quality that hangs around after the initial burst of bergamot fizz.

It won't offend, it's classy, it doesn't smell like a teenager (read, NOT sugary sweet), it won't aggressively clear a room, and people won't suspect that you might secretly be a harlot so it makes a great fragrance for work. The longevity of the EDP is also good and can be work in warm and cold weather.

Premier is one of my favorite every day office fragrances so don't be swayed by the rather fluffy and borderline silly description in the introduction.

celebrity89

Another in the class of Paris Hilton, fruity Escadas, Mariah Carey's Blings and the others. Not really my thing, but the others are way cheaper.

alchemist1976stephanie

I disagree with anyone who thinks this is a skin scent....Well, sort of. At least for my nose, it is anything but. It's loud, linear and a bit sharp. I can see it wants to be soft, but one squirt and it felt like I stuck my face in a bottle of fabric softener and got ALL the smell at once. For those with less sensitive noses, this would be a lovely soft floriental. For me, I'll pass.

EDIT: So the funniest thing happened to me with this fragrance...I started to crave the scent. It grew on me so much that it has become a current fav in my rotation. Now when I smell it, it reminds me of just pure sophistication. Very feminine without being 'girly'. Great for the winter months.

aspirina

This scent reminds me of a modern muse from Estee Lauder. They are not the same, but they both have a sour citric note and white flowers. Elegant but in a severe, frigid, upscale way. She is the boss, but she is not sexy.

lackyolfa

hi im a fun of this parfum and i look for all the news

MinnaMo

This is my favorite right now. I feel so classy when I wear it. This is a business woman's fragrance.

Spikekuji

The glamour of the bottle does not echo its contents. What is surprising is how generic it is. Generic in a classy, Gucci, high-end way. Much like Blake Lively, the face of the ad campaign, Premiere is just another pretty blonde. There are no distinguishing features to catch your eye/nose. This is not worth your money.

HanamiTsukimi

It's like walking a tightrope trying to find a true white floral that balances itself between being distinctive and inoffensive. Gucci Premiere leans toward the latter.

For those that tremble in fear at the thought, the white flowers here aren't particularly powerful, neither are they soapy. This is soft and stays relatively close to the skin. It's light, simple, and secretly gourmand. The bergamot and the sugar add up to a sparkly lime soda feel, which I do like.

And yet... it still feels rather plain. I'd rather have my white florals plain than potent, TYVM. But I still wish it had more of a twinkle in its eye.

CatherineLaundon

Gucci Première feels like a fragrance made by someone who was sick of sweet candy scents, but, on the other hand, not really wanting to actually do anything that original. At all times still pleasant and discreet, this is a woodsy fragrance with citrus overtones. Without being dated, Première isn't ground-breakingly new; which might make it suitable for Christmas gifting; it's hard to beat something that offends no one! This of course can be a serious drawback too: one can end up pleasing no one enough.

Gucci's own description of the fragrance stresses element of Old Hollywood glamour, but Gucci Première seems to me the kind of fragrance that you would wear everyday around the house, a sort of "my skin but better" scent. To cut a long story short, it's the sort of thing that doesn't make any demands on you, take it or leave it, it's rather expected and -dare I say it- a bit boring.

The dominating notes are bergamot and white musk. Woodsy notes coat-tail under the first impression of fresh citrus and settle down on the skin with a softness that is surprising for such a composition.

Gucci Première however, for better or for worse, depending on your particular viewpoint, remains at all times subtle, even fleeting (it has the lasting power of an eau de cologne rather than what it is presented as, which is eau de parfum). Absolutely no detectable leather in there whatsoever. More's the pity for us leather fiends! Plain, inoffensive, a dime a dozen. It's not bad, by any means. It's just typical, and not anything groundbreaking.

The longevity and sillage are both fairly poor, even for being an EDP. If I actually liked this scent, I'd have to reapply constantly. I'm a bit surprised that this has less staying power and projection than the EDT version!

I think the sum of my discontent is purely the idea that it could have been so much more than it is, and I found that disappointing. Such potential, but wasted. The concept behind it was very artistic, but to me this is an example of a creative endeavour failing to live up to the hype. It promised elegance, glamour, sensuality and power, and only delivered the same citrusy woods that have been done to death over the years.

It's not bad by any means, but it is also nothing special.

Silage- Skin scent

fgamz

I have this on me now and I can't really smell it unless I really sniff my wrist.. hmm. not sure if I smell what others smell.. it just doesn't wow me!! its another perfume which I think is too safe, definitely something you would wear everyday, I recently tried bamboo and tbh, bamboo smells so much better to me, I don't know why, I don't even like bamboo that much either..

starshining73

Fragranza di classe, elegante e sensuale.
Un bouquet di fiori bianchi su un fondo di muschio e legni.
Buona persistenza.

Beckylynn8881

Gucci Premiere is very light but still elegant. Reminds me a little bit of Dolce and Gabbana La Luna in the respect that it evokes the image of the sun rising in the early morning. You picture fresh dew shimmering on a grass meadow dotted with little white flowers. I mostly pick up the white flowers along with a sweetness that reminds me of tea leaves, but I'm guessing that it's the blackberry since there is no tea note listed. This would be great as a casual, everyday scent.

victoria.mei1992

Very weak, you need to put your nose very close to the skin to be able to smell that.

andrea2089

This one has surprise me enormously I'm not saying is the greatest thing out there but it has all the notes I normally hate (white floral + citrus = disaster on my skin) but this one is so the opposite effect I was expecting to get, I received this one on a swap a while ago but didn't try it until today; on me it develops as a floral but very light its more orange blossom very well done with traces of woods and I guess the patchouli its what balances and makes it work for me, I don't smell the champagne mentioned on the description but it feels like some kind of clean smell but not on the soapy side its more like an expensive place will smell like don't know who to express it correctly but the vibe I get....
Its an office scent not offensive but done elegantly something you can put on and look and smell professional if u want to word it
I like it a lot and I will keep it.

florencia

It Depends on..Yes your ph`s skyn.. if you like floral, sweet, fruty, gourmand, etc. perfums...

This perfum is for all woman who likes to wear eteral fragrances, that don´t like to bother people with strong or sweet smell, yes i know is weak just for office wear or an evening in the country, a coffee in the afternoon or just to stay at home and feel clean but with rich and fancy smell

***If you want an attrative or catcher perfum.. try Gucci Guilty Black***

LisaLovesPerfume

When I purchased this fragrance, I was hoping for Gucci by Gucci...the hardcore musk. However this is a departure from that fragrance. I was pleasantly surprised. Although, I have rarely been disappointed by Gucci. This is fresher and no where near as musky. I got the edt. I really like this a lot. I do recommend this for the discerning fragrantica. As always, I highly suggest trying it before you buy it.

Irina Sp

It was a present to me, and I don't use it often, because I prefer fresh/flower scents.
It's not heavy at all, unlike its bottle might tell. I was not really impressed, it smells ok, a bit sour at opening, then flowers' sweetness begins, the base is heavy and syrupy.
It's too ladylike for me, though can be used daytime and evening as well. The longevity is not bad at all.
I would not purchase it, it's not worth that much money.

Contessa01

A classy, elegant fragrance. This reminds me a bit of Gucci Guilty, though I prefer Guilty. I agree that it is a modern vintage perfume. It lasts a long time too.

Bouquet

Let me start off by stating that I don't like Gucci fragrances as a whole.
But I like this one, although it really doesn't match its image of opulence and flash for a major event. This is more of a low-key everyday scent, or to wear to brunch or coffee with friends.

The orange blossom is slightly juicy, rather than soapy, as many orange blossom fragrances, are, and I can smell a touch of woods and leather in the drydown.
It suits a minimalist casually elegant style.

Lasting power could be better. Maybe 2 hours on me.
How about if Gucci were to make a "Gucci Premiere Intense"?

Vanie2784

Very nice, inoffensive scent. However, for the price it is not worth it to me. If you want something soft, everyday wear, not a overpowering scent and want to spend a lot then this is for you. If you want all of the above minus the expensive price tag, then pick something else. I received a sample of this and I will not spend the money to buy a full bottle. This scent is also nothing out of the ordinary, and even for those that have the chance to get close to you to smell this.. it will not be memorable, a scent that can definitely be forgotten.

Narkus

It's a nice enough wood floral, but I find the silage Soft and the longevity only a couple hours. Maybe it's just my skin as I see others have had better luck. Maybe it will be better in spring and summer. The bergamot stays throughout, and I do detect the Orange blossom. I'll update when the weather warms. Currently, I like my Jade Omnia much better in this genre.

Ellamay

Powerful bergamot opening and very powerful patchouli dry-down on me. The strongest-smelling and longest-lasting Gucci I've tried. I'm generally a patchouli fan, but I found this a bit overwhelming and longed for some other notes to join the party.

Ithri

First snif is gorgious but the drydowm is way too common not worth the price!

Not Sure

The bergamot is prominent in the beginning, but gives way to a creamy white floral scent but sometimes it will turn into more of a clean almost powdery scent. The longevity is pretty good on me, usually around 6 hours but that can vary too.

aera_aranah

Im not sure if I had an original bottle (because of the ratings), for sure I payed for one, but mine was very strong 4 sprays were intoxicating, very long lasting and heavy sillage. It was too strong for me and I like strong scents, thats why I gave it to my mom who prefers stronger perfumes then me.

liluliluka

absolutely divine!!!!!! Every woman should own a bottle of this! Creamy, beautiful, sweet, not too floral, feminine and sexy! Looovvveee It!!!

demip

This is a beautiful scent. If it only it didn't evaporate immediately :( So much potential very disappointing.

Anaïs Nin

Gucci Premiere is a lovely white floral scent. The first spray is the sweet, tangy bergamot. The fresh orange blossoms comes through shorty after. The scent becomes warmer and sensual from the patchouli and the sandalwood, on my skin the citrus undertone is consistent. The drydown is a soft, musky orange blossom scent. That is it.
From a 2ml spray- the sillage is too delicate for my tastes, (I need more sillage, more!) and the longevity is good. I think that Premiere is a classy and versatile scent to wear every day. Its just not my style.

Ithri

I loved the opening but the drydowm was quite disappointing!

genny17

I like this but it is indeed so light, but feminine pretty warm and smells great!! It is amberish which I like ! I guess I thought this would be a powerhouse scent
It isn't but I like the fresh floral vibe also
It has something special j can't define
The Gucci touch I guess!!

aqua76239

This is heavy on orange flower and woods-but not strong. Its elegant and feminine. Definitely not groundbreaking as someone said but its a nice warm fragrance for every day.
I can't say I love the lasting power-its really poor which seems to be true for most Gucci fragrances lately. I know some ladies said it lasted a long time on them but when I sprayed it on tester strip it lasted literally 30 min.

I bought a small bottle of it in Ross discount store but I wouldn't pay full price for it

Dulce15

My husband bought this for me as a birthday present and I use it quite a bit. I find it wonderful. I get the vintage feel about it. It is soft and elegant.

Hend Keshk

Smells like cheap shampoo, not up to its price or the brand's name.

Karema

I like the soft classy smell it made me, and despite of the longevity polls, it actually last quite long on my skin. However, I am a more strong sillage kind of girl who wants people to turn their head for my smell. This is perfect for a pleasant morning day, as it wakes you up with it gorgeous white flowers smell.

Isra

smells like body wash or soup

PerfumeAddict23

Gucci Premiere has to be one of my favorite scents out of my collection at the moment. I stumbled a crossed this fragrance a few months back at Sephora and fell it love at first smell.

I've worn this a lot this summer, despite the scent's heavier side. I usually spray this on before I go out and I always get compliments no matter if I'm at a dinner with friends or at a party.

I can't wait to wear this during the colder months.

auroramaria

While not being a groundbreaking fragrance Gucci Premiere is still a very pleasant scent.
It's quite elegant and sophisticated with citrus and berry notes at the opening then come white flowers and musk ending with woody notes and patchouly.
I think it's best suited for nightime even though it's not too heavy.
Longevity could be better but it lingers a few hours staying close to skin.
I would recommend this scent to someone who wants to be noticed but in a discreet sort of way.

LouPerry

Not as harsh and different as other Gucci fragrances I think. I tend to find them quite unique, but this one is maybe a little similar to other white florals on the market.
It is pleasant though, and is still it's own.
On me the longevity is actually really good; I sprayed it 3 times (once and then twice about 10 mins later) at around 4pm, it's now 11pm and I can still smell it on my skin.
I'm not so sure about the sillage; maybe stays closer to the skin than I would have thought.

Also, I like the bottle; I thought it would be opaque; like Guilty, but its cleverly translucent allowing you to see how much you have left. It does remind me of the bottle for The One by D&G though.

Aliakatt

I just tried this sample and I must say I am a little disappointed. The fragrance is lovely. It opens with citrus but then mellows. The white floral scent is sweet, but is toned down by the sandalwood. All in all, a lovely scent. My only disappointment is in how quickly it fades on me.

MathildaFhyr

It gives a quite heavy scent, but not overpowering. In the beginning it smells ALOT of citrus, but it fades into a smooth round scent which I really love and it feels expensive!

ScarlettX

I thought this was something very classy and elegant, but it's actually quite simple white floral scent.
White flowers are a little sharp for my nose, but nothing too overpowering. The bergamot gives it a soapy aroma and sandalwood gives a little spice.
The outcome is nice, but not stunning as the marketing tries to convince us.
The golden packaging promises more than there is.

galaxy86

I had opportunity to sample this when I went to sephora earlier this year (yes, I have to travel long distance to reach nearest sephora...:(). Anyways, this is a beautiful perfume. I love the opening (its orange on my skin) and dry down (balsam on my skin) most. Its next on my buy list. The dry down is quite similar to bvlgari omnia jade.

Water_is_my_life

Got this for my mom after she had commented to me that Gucci Premiere reminds her of that used-up flacon of CK Eternity that my dad got for her (it was the first perfume he got her).

I wasn't too sure what she meant until she sprayed it and I remember the scent as distinctly something very "my mom"...I guess it's because she always wore CK Eternity when I was little.

Scent wise, I find it to be alike to Burberry Weekend, but more slightly more dressed up. It's posh, but it's not in-your-face. It still has a certain "presence", and it is noticeable, but only if you take the time to give a light sniff. It isn't trying to drip in vanilla-amber-and-diamonds, which is something I appreciate despite its gaudy bottle that is trying too hard to scream out "I'm a million bucks!".

Akarui_hana

Sexy is the best word to describe it. It's a very urban, glamorous and modern scent that is easy to wear at any time. I received many compliments wearing this perfume. It is a luxurious and well balanced blend between white flowers, sandalwood and patchouli. It lasts a long time and projects well. One of my favorite fragrances.

ladyone1

received this perfume as a gift. the smell is elegant, a little bit too intensive for my taste, but nice.
i have worn it during a period every day and got kind of tired of it. the perfume can be worn at any occation!

BiancaDrumea

I quite like this one. I got it in the smaller size because I was not sure if I will end up loving it or not. I think it is very nice for more casual wear and it sits so close to the skin that you do not need to worry about bothering anyone while wearing this.

Nena0131

It reminds me Flora so much, that I had to test both. My nose doesn't find much difference.
It is a nice one, sweet, fruity, and elegant.

tessture

Nicely pretty. Creamy florals with a sweet musk base. A bit too sweet for me, though, and smells very young. Not really as black tie as the name suggests

Fragrantnatic

This is a classic fresh floral, all I get is the white floral with a hint of citrus. Very wearable for daytime without being too loud, just that sillage is quite weak.

rickyrebarco

I have worn this scent over and over for about 5 days trying to decide what to say about it. This is an elegant and rather "rich lady" smelling fragrance, but not in an off-putting way. It seems like a non-Parisian attempt at the Hermes effect. It fails in coming anywhere near the quality of a Hermes scent. But on its own less loftier terms, Gucci Premiere is pretty. It has a lovely bergamot and white floral blend that lasts for quite a few hours. It does not have much sillage and moves quickly to a skin scent, but I did not get any salty or sweaty smells on my skin.

It sounds a bit silly to say this, but to me this smells like the modern person's take on the idea of an elegant "perfume." It is a sort of melange of many elegant smelling scents from the 2000's. It reminds me of the wonderful scent I get when I walk into Saks Fifth Avenue or Neiman Marcus near the cosmetic and fragrance counters. You can't put your finger on it, but it is a generic upper crusty "perfume" scent that I associate with good things and pretty things. Is this fragrance wonderful, original or fabulous? No, but it is pretty and pleasant and it's a great office scent, interview scent or nice fragrance to wear to the theatre or out to dinner where you want to smell nice but you do not want to offend your seatmates.

I got a great deal on a bottle of this fragrance and I plan to keep it and enjoy it.

ecerusen

after rush, i didnt like gucci's frags for too long. but this one make me a surprise,i like it. it is creamy, florally fresh, and has some womanity.

PolarBear2

i smell salesladies wearing it, and I am NOT going to wear this. It has become of shampoo vintage.

emelim

Bought it today with body lotion and mirror in gift box, so happy, i love Gucci ♥♥

Mortazuma

I am not exactly sure why but this fragrance made me think of a sweeter and less commanding version of old Oscar de le Renta. It is intended to bring to mind Old Hollywood but when I think Old Hollywood mainly Chanel No.5, Shalimar, Oscar de la Renta and Joy seem more like what I would expect to smell strolling down the red carpet than this. Gucci premiere reminds me more of young and modern Hollywood.

It is faddish but nostalgic of great perfumes gone by, and even though it doesn't have an air of glamour or grandeur, I would put this down as a retro perfume that doesn't take center stage but still is lovely in its own right.

Although it didn't get along with my body chemistry, I didn't find it cheap, trashy or offensive. I can tell that Gucci was missing the days of yore and tried to mix that with the tastes modern audiences. The bottle is extravagant, the sillage is 1/4 of that and the longevity is half of that still.

Overall, I wasn't wowed by it nor put off by it. It's something that can be worn while out on a date where the wearer is someone rather unnassertive, casual and goes with the flow and definitely no diva.

aurora21

This is one of my favorite perfumes to wear when going out for dinner or to the movies. To me it smells very fresh. It is one of my favorite Gucci perfumes. I also have the lotion and it smells identical to the perfume.

slowmotion

Quite lovely in the beginning but as it wore out it smelt of dried sweat. Not attractive. Very disappointing. Did not match my body chemistry.

khatsar

I was struck by the similarity to Carolina Herrera 212-- same bergamot opening, orange blossom sweetness, inviting musk, and sandalwood finish. Same feeling of chic and comfortable femininity. Both are very "white" skin scents and neither is meant to be the center of attention, but 212 has more of a whisper-light quality whereas Gucci Premiere strikes me as a bit more...intentional. It is inoffensive-- not a femme fatale fragrance but lovely for everyday, like a pair of black leather ballet flats.

The only things holding me back from purchasing this are 1) an off-key, overly perfumey note that rears its head smack in the middle of the drydown and screeches all over the musk and 2) the fact it lasts maybe an hour on my skin, if that. Very poor longevity and sillage. It's almost like a body mist, and that ZOMG PERFUME note is completely out of place in what is otherwise a lovely composition.

I'm left wishing Gucci had put as much care into the fragrance as they spent on the bottle.

Egyptian Goddess

this perfume to me smells like soft suede, it is just soft and delicious. I think the bottle, the name and the commercial do lead a person to believe that this scent is bold, opulent and just nighttime evening glamour at its best. This is more of a skin scent, very subtle and gorgeous. like suede and liquid gold.

sparkling champagne poured at midnight. understated but not boring. it has a creaminess to it, which is why is reminds me of suede. the orange blossom peeks through a lot which tilts it to more of a feminine scent, despite the wood and musks. the balance is just right. This is what I envision the Victoria's Secret models wearing at the fashion show. it is feminine, but has a slight edge. Sexy but not overdone. It doesn't try too hard, and I think that is why i want to bathe in it. Just addicting.

Cmiw

For me, this is a very elegant smell. It's got leather, mostly floral, but I think it's just my body chemistry when I sniff it on the bottle, it smells like too much and heavy but when I actually wore it(it's a gift, I don't get to choose), it smells very elegant and glam, but never too old or womanly. The bottle is very glam and the overall feel is luxurious. I wonder why there's so much hate on this perfume? Then again, noses are sort of an individual thing so yea

shalita87

Nice fragrance, wish there was a little more leather:) I'm still happy with it though!

pink and pink

I bought it yesterday only for this bottle! It looks rich.

Alexandrarae

My daughter received a bottle of this for her birthday and I sneaked a spray from it today. It has now been on my wrist for 7 hours and I find it rather lovely. I liked the first impression and now that it has warmed up on my skin am enjoying the soft musky dry down. I know there are no roses in there but there's something about "Stella" and YSL's "Paris" - I wouldn't say no to a bottle if it was given to me. Obviously suits my skin to hang around for 7 hours and no headache in sight so it's a "thumbs up" from me!

Kanz Oman

A very familiar scent, nothing special. Another bottle with shampoo smell !!!

dcookoo

A little sweet, a little musky, a little floral, a little creamy. Divine! Even better than Guilty (which I still really like but has been bumped into my 3rd favorite Gucci fragrance after discovering Flora). Plus, have you seen the Tv ad starring Blake Lively? Beautiful!

jinjun

Sweet and musky - for me this equals 'headache inducing'. Does not smell expensive and doesn't last very long. As someone already mentioned, the golden bottle is a bit ott. Would never buy this.

perfumeaddiction

I really like Gucci Premiere. This type of fragrance just works well with my chemistry. I do find it heavy however it would be a great daytime perfume for work. Premiere is a hard one to find words for - I guess rich and elegant might sum it up. I read the reviews below about poor lasting power but honestly I am sitting here with my small tester of Gucci Premiere on my left arm and testing Gucci by Gucci on my right and wowza seems to be lasting on me. So I keep snffing each arm and while both are slightly similar premiere is the more feminine of the two. I am still on the fence with Gucci Gucci. I definitely would purchase a full bottle of Premiere and wear it in confidence. If anyone has a full bottle and wanted to swap for a full size new 2.5 of ladies Gucci by Gucci let me know

Juliana6

Initially it's sweet, but the orange flower makes the scent a bit fresh. Warm, still sweet, thick ( musk, I guess). Finally it transforms into sweet, warm woody scent.
Good for those who like flowery sweet scents with woodsy heart notes.
Overall this smells good, but for this price one can find something more interesting and vibrant. Staying power could be better. Can't say I dislike this. I do like it as a light summer scent but not enough to buy. I'll pass.

asher.jessie

There's so much hate for this fragrance...but honestly, what are you people expecting? It's GUCCI....since when is Gucci high class enough to be held up to couture standards? Gucci has always been poor man's Chanel, so I don't understand why everyone is criticizing this so harshly.

I love this fragrance, because it does orange blossom right. I have no idea why everyone marvels over fragrances like Tom Ford's Neroli Portofino, which reeks of overly sweet, waxy neroli-accords that smell just like fruity pebbles.

This fragrances takes some really basic, overdone notes, and presents them in a fresh, glowing, incandescent way that is simply beautiful.

The leather isn't too strong, which is good, because it lets the floral/bergamot mixture take control for the majority of the seven-ish hours this fragrance lasts on me. Incredibly long for a Gucci fragrance.

This is tangy, fizzy, sparkling, and alluring, while also being versatile and stately enough for everyday-wear. The bottle is gorgeous, but the gold color is just a cheap coating of paint that chips off at the drop of a hat.

It's a great perfume, but I deeply regret paying full price for it.

Julia1992

AFter 5 minutes it reminds me of Gucci by Gucci.

MademoiselleMaya

Nondescript white flowers, a touch of bergamot that disappears within half an hour, a bit of dusty leather, barely there. Artificial sweetness. No sillage, weak lasting power. Generic, bland, not worthy of the bottle, name and glamorous campaign. In the light, delicate, inoffensive category, I'd rather choose Gucci Flora Eau Fraiche, while not groundbreaking it's still a much better scent. Gucci Premiere is the weakest and the least distinctive of all Gucci fragrances.

_smelly_cat_

I believe I´m anosmic to this one since I can't smell anything.

butterflyblue

I had a small bottle of this. I liked it enough but it never was a favorite, or one I reached for that often. It is a basic floral. Not too impressed with this Gucci.

Jama4

On me Premier EDP smelled like honey and like amber (white flowers and leather). It is an oriental scent that can be worn on hot days (32 C / 85 F). It does not smell cheap and is for someone who is classy, confident, but doesn't like to draw a lot of attention.

I just have to be upfront and say what I think; modern mainstream perfumery is butchering orange blossom. There, I said it.

Gucci Premiere was a disappointment for me. The glamorous, gold bottle was hinting at something classy and elegant, but what I got was a predictable and synthetic white floral with some musk and metallic bergamot. Essentially, Gucci Premiere is a casual, tea-party floral, perfectly paired with paper doilies and plain scones.

On one hand, I'm pleased to see white florals making a bit of a comeback, but on the other hand, I wish they were done right. I'm not feeling it. Thank goodness Gucci Premiere is a relatively light fragrance or this testing may have ended in a headache.

The leather accord is only very subtle. Gucci Premiere seems to be taking its cues from Dolce & Gabbana's La Lune 18, another soft, leathery white floral. Neither of them are bad, although they are sometimes difficult to wear. I think Gucci Premiere would be the kind of fragrance that I would tire of quickly.

The lasting strength is not too bad, however the projection is on the weak side of things. But then again, I think Gucci Premiere would smell less pleasant if it were stronger. To be honest, I think Gucci by Gucci EDP is a much better perfume. Gucci Premiere is not something that I predict will stick around for very long.

Tovah

This definitely has a "vintage" vibe (a la Michael Kors Very Hollywood). However, I feel strangely anosmic with Gucci Premiere. It's as though the whole scent is muted and nothing stands out that makes it catch my attention. It smells so nondescript it could be a Parfums de Coeur body spray or the latest Marc Jacobs (but it would be in an adorable bottle). At first Premiere is a bright, yet gentle white floral with subtle hints of leather, then it's...nothing. I suspect I need to try this again when it's not hot and dry (temps have been in the low 100s) because many fragrances, esp. ones with leather, seem to need more humidity to "bloom" on me. So far, for me, Gucci has yet to come close to having a fragrance like the magnificent Rush in its first incarnation. Rush could stop me in my tracks and, in seconds, transport me to a fantasy.

ArtzGirl

I just tried this at Bloomingdales. It was recommended by two senior fragrance sales associates that felt like it fit the requirement for an upcoming meeting that I have in the Las Vegas area. With Vegas being so HOT... (literally and figuratively) -- you definitely don't want to wear a fragrance that will have any form of OVER POWERING effect... simply because you don't know how this will effect you in such severe heat.

I smelled this on the card and it is truly scrumptious. Very soft, very lady-like, it has a very "reserved" upper-class type aroma that in less intrusive than a lot of "in your face" type fragrances. I loved this for the first two hours then really lost the smell of it. It has a very quick fade... too much of a fade for something that is over a $100.

For this type of investment, you expect more mileage from your fragrance, and the economics of this -- doesn't work for me. I like a fragrance that holds its essence for at least 6-8 hours... at least. I don't have time to keep respraying throughout the day.

Read the other reviews. The majority said that they liked the fragrance initially, but that it quickly dissipated. This is a shame, the initial notes of this are gorgeous. Perhaps this is the fragrance to wear when you are having a quick lunch date or something before going to the gym or playing sports. I'm sure that there would be an occasion where this would be the perfect 'fit"... but for most things, I would at least want my fragrance to last 6 hours before needing to reapply!

Is it just me or are these perfume houses going down a particular track. A lot of perfumes I have tested lately I think they are really nice when first sprayed but gone are the days of the "drydown". I am finding most of them are either disappearing or drying to a very generic laundry powder or shampoo smell. That's fine you can always respray it and enjoy the opening all over again that is fun but if you are someone like me where perfume goes straight to the drydown very quickly then this becomes a merry go round of spraying all day just to smell something.

This one I am affraid does this. I like the opening spray and the lovely solid gold bottle but the drydown happens so quickly and it is just a nothing kind of smell that no one including me can smell and it is super expensive. I don't mind paying but I want a drydown of somesort. I don't know most perfumes are designed today to pack everything into the first blast and then that's it wham bam thankyou mam. Not impressed it must be cheaper for the companies who construct them or maybe with the change of ingredients, chemicals these days they just don't last or develop like the older style perfumes.

Aspendina

amazing scent, omg its heaven but no lasting power. i do intend to give it another try and just spray more next time and see how it holds up, i am so in love with this.

Fresh&wild

I bought a travel gift set of Premiere along with Dhalia Noir edt gift set at airport when returning from a short trip two weeks ago. I was late on my flight so i picked them without testing. And i wish i didn't!!! I rarely get disappointed in a perfume; happened 2 or 3 times, and Premiere was one of them.

The perfume is soft and sweet, which i didn't expect from Gucci, as a lover of Gucci by Gucci edp & edt i was hoping for a near depth and aura: 1st disappointment: it smelt exactly like Lady Million !!! Very soft metallic flowery sweet scent that has poor sillage: 2nd disappointment!!! I kept on trying to find something i should love about this perfume because i paid ualot for it which means to me i should at least like it シ i was impressed by longevity.
It's not a bad smell but it's not special like the bottle. I will test it in summer maybe it will develop more.. i will use my bottle but no repurchase.

robororo

Bought this yesterday as a birthday gift for myself :)

It smells woody and white floral, and first few minutes after applying you can even smell faint bergamot.
It has moderate lasting (6 hours tops), and the sillage is very soft, people can smell you only when they are really close to you. It's just what you expect from this sophisticated, elegant smell - the name "premiere" really suits it.Glamorous!

susieqrj

Smells ok, but the lasting power is totally ridiculous... vanishes from the skin in less than 2 hours... I bought it to use on a wedding party and I had to reapply 3 times before leaving my house... at the time I got into the party, it was gone.
Waste of money...

Zian Lotus

I bought this perfume a few days ago and absolutely loved it! I smells very seductive, sexy and it lasted from the morning to the night. I would definately recommend this to anyone!

HebaD'Opium

On me it's very woody and floral with tiny tiny hints of citrus!
At first, there's a hint of citrus but on me it's overpowered by white floral scent, I love love white florals and this one with musk and the woody notes it's lovely. It makes me happy.
The dry down is a bit leathery, very tamed down musk and wood notes, no citrus at all now maybe i get a whiff of white florals but it's toned down with the woody notes that is certainly dominant.
Not so surprisingly, i love the dry down the most.
It lasts about 4 hours on me, I think it's a day scent and perfect for going out or having coffee in the morning, trying to relax. It's an all year round perfume as well.
It's sophisticated and gorgeous.

Unfortunately, it's not my kind of perfume :( I like it enough to not "dislike" it.

Clyn11

One of my favourite office scents!!

Fresh, Classy, Inoffensive, Not distracting.
On me the strongest notes are Bergamot, White Flowers & Wood. Drydown is lovely --powdery with a hint of freshness.
Suitable for all seasons in my opinion.

tvdvampire

good perfume but really poor lasting

MabelEarth

pforever

im the manager of a perfume store and this is my fave womans fragrance out of everything that we stock.
so unique
so sophistacted
so elegent
lasts all day
and a very fair price!!
another stella fragrance from GUCCI ;)

Lanlisa

The SA showed me this one and I loved it from my first sampling. It is on my long list of purchases one day but not top of the list as there are so many uniquely gorgeous ones still to buy. This one smells beautiful and worth trying at the beauty counter. There is confusion on eBay as to which bottle is the Premiere version. Be sure if you order there, that you get the solid gold bottle not the clear and frosted stripe one. Two different perfumes by Gucci.

missdior

This smells like bananas on me!? Does anyone else get this ?

jillianin

sophisticated, chill, stylish, girly, my surprisingly favourite.

OTA Mom

The description given for this perfume fits it to a "T", except for the Brooke Lively part. Exactly what you would wear to a premiere. Powerful, classy and quality with a vintage vibe, but not my mother's glamor perfume. This one is a keeper for those most special events where I want to feel like a movie star. And the drydown was just as nice, kicking off one's heels after a fabulous evening and putting on pj's for lovely dreams.

lat

I wore it today and poured half a sample on my skin. I got a compliment (and rightly so as it is pretty), BUT followed by remark: "Yeah, this is very light and subtle".
That was less than 1 hour from applying it. The juice does NOT justify the price tag, I'm afraid.

Habanita

On me the scent is very subtle. While I liked it on paper, on me it developes into a rather unpleasant scent :-(

lat

Alright, I had to edit my post after getting my sample and wearing it for a while. This does not smell like Flora on my skin, the distinct leather note makes it sexier and deeper than Flora can ever be. Powerful white flowers that could get sickly if it wasn't for bergamot and orange blossom breaking the sweetness. As time progresses on my skin it's white flowers - orange blossom - musk- leather combo.

This would be absolutely great, but then, less than 2 hours in it fades to a typical musky/powdery/flowery drydown which is unrecognizable from many others out there. No leather, no woods, nothing special. Disappointing for the price to say the least.

irenesa

I tryed today and i really likee it. This is not memorable... But what the hell, can i be honest? I loooove the bottle and the add. I like white florals so im fine with it. This is lacking "sweetnes".

evacecilias

Finally tried this ...
But I have to be honest, I am not impressed by gucci this time.
Hiding in that luxouros gold bottle is really nothing new..so sad.
I don't really know what I was hoping for but this fresh, sporty
kind of smell is poured in the wrong bottle.
Its a nice smell and it will probably suit a lot youngsters.
So I guess Gucci brand fishes for their new market.
At least , now I know its Gucci by gucci original I have to get me in the future, that one was divine !

LexDidems

Trialled this one today, from the blotter it smelled luxurious, soft but comforting. I'm not a fan of citrus smells at all, preferring not to smell of dishwashing liquid, but this was a soft unoffensive citrus. I walked around with the blotter for a while and grew steadily in love. I circled back and skin tested. Still in love. To me its a beautiful unoffensive summer scent, and that's exactly what is missing from my collection. I wore Premiere for the day and ran back to the store just before closing to purchase a bottle. I got a 75ml bottle and scored a free bottle of the 30ml! Very pleased. I can still smell it and its been 8 hours now.
For me a perfume has to be unique and hard for people around me to identify. I don't generally like mainstream perfumes but this one is high price enough to weed out the masses. For me it is worth the price of this bottle to be one of the few wearing it.
It also has to be unoffensive and have a moderate-to-intimate sillage as I work in a hospital in close contact with people.
This ticks all the right boxes for me and still smells devine.

Sanny

This perfume is nice and soft. I love it!

eunicek

This perfume definitely smelled a bit like Flora to start, but shortly after it was very musky, so it felt like a grown-up version. Overall, I liked this fragrance and it would be good for an evening event, especially when you want to feel extra sexy.

aqua76239

this is citrusy floral that is quite plesant but as others said, nothing new or interesting. No different from hundred others. Lasting power of a body spray. I don't know what happened to Gucci but they really went downhill in quality of their fragrances

genny17

I think that if you are looking for a soft musky scent, this will work.I expected a bigger scent all around, with the name Premiere, so I am not impressed overall, it is light,a bit watery feel also, but for the ones who like musky florals, with a hint of woods this will do fine.Didnt leave a lasting impression on me though.
I definitely dont get half of the notes listed in it.

nush imogen

Quite nice, so far my favorite Gucci scent but still not my style enough for me to go and buy a full bottle. Maybe when i'm older, in my 40's perhaps .. On the plus side, this lasts really well, the bottle looks super luxe and the scent fits this season perfectly :)

kitten_steele

This smells like one of those fruity fresh celebrity scents. Or one of those linear summer scents. So common. Not worth its price. I have 4 of those 2 ml vials they give away in stores and that's 4 too many. I wish the store had given me other samples instead of this one. I just needed one drop to test it. I don't need 8 ml of this stuff. And I wonder too, where is the leather? And where are those woody notes? I can't smell them either. The description says it's a warm fragrance. To me it's not. It's fruity, citrusy fresh. I think I can even smell strawberry in there. There is something very sweet in the background. There's no strength either. I have to put my nose to my skin to smell it. A rip off for sure! Even I feel ripped off, even though I have free samples. Bad Gucci, bad!

canadianpetite

To me Gucci says elegance without having to shout it out. This fume embodies that sense. The flowers are soft and feminine not loud and bright as in Fracas. The citrus and orange blossoms are so minute to me that it isn't almost there but probably is what makes the fume remain fresh rather than thick and heavy as in oriental perfumes. I find the leather and woods blanket the flowers to keep it elegant and subtle with no sharp edges. This perfume is so rounded that I find myself waiting for a hint of something interesting. The drydown is more of the same so it felt flat to me. It is too nice and not distinct enough to keep me interested as if it is too afraid to offend. It's perfect for the office but too expensive for a daily perfume.

On me,
Sillage: close to skin
Longevity: about 2 hours
Rating: 2/5 too elegant, subtle and rounded

Lexy656612

To me it has a generic expensive perfume smell about it, don't get me wrong it's a nice perfume and lasts a long time but its not original. It would make a great gift for your wife or mum wouldn't recommend for a younger person though.

goingblonde

A nice elegant floral/musky scent,

too common for the price ;-)
Having said that - I sure wouldnt mind it as a gift ..

EDIT: I recently was gifted it :) YAY!

Daisyloverr

I wasn't a fan of Gucci perfumes before, but now I don't get the bad reviews. I really like this one. I would buy it for my mom, I think it's musky and I loved it!!

lisarad

Really enjoyed wearing this today. Beautifully woody and clean smelling. Not a lot of sillage or longevity. Not the most compelling frag, but, it was nice...in a nice way. I am a librarian, and felt that it was appropriate for the location.

iranperfumer

tina.collins

Just got a sample ..the top note does not dissapate very quickly -- but what a beautiful scent-- definitely a winter scent..

haidynn

I just love this one. To me, it's very different just because I've never been all that much into floral scents and wore mostly fruity perfumes for many years. But this fragrance touched something in me that made me buy it. And now it's already been a couple days that I've had it. It sits on my shelf and I walk around it in circles like a curious cat. I've spritzed it on a couple times and it's just great on me, dimensional, fresh, sophisticated and opens up in many different layers during the day. But the thing is, I can smell it on my skin all day long if I choose to wear it. This is too overwhelming for me. On the other hand I love what I smell and just cannot stay away from it :) That's my dilemma. It keeps luring me in but I can't wear it all the time.

larita91

Simply beautiful. Not so unique, because it reminds me some other fragrance, but it is a love at first sniff for me. Simple, feminime and classy in a real good way. I really appriciate the matureness of this parfume, because it has absolutely NO old lady smell like so many others. Simply beautiful.

wbp

I am not a Gucci fan and for me this is another nothing special fragrance. Yes it's not bad, but with no personality. Just another anonymous fragrance. Sorry.

maltatude

This one is actually quite good. It has a characteristic of the dry down of Hot Couture EDT by Givenchy but smells completely different in all other respects.

I am guessing I am picking up on similar ingredients or an accord that is the same.

The opening is quite a nice citrus. Overall, for a mainstream fragrance, they've done ok. Worth sampling. Can't really say if I would wear it, I have only tried it on my skin once. So far, it's not bad.

Edit: I was bought this for a gift. I have found a really strange way of wearing it but it puts me in the best mood for a day at work.

I splash on some Eau de Cologne and spray this over my clothes. Magic.

saguna

I loved Gucci Rush 2 for its sweetness, and Gucci Guilty for making me in a good mood, like on the top of the posh world, but this one has nothing to do with Gucci brand. Big big disaster.
One good thing : stays on clothes for long, on my skin fades away after one hour...
The scent itself is boring, sour and a bit familiar...
Where the hell is the leather in this frag?

SweetScoops

This parfume works wonderfully with my skin. The top notes settles down within minutes and then I experience up to 8 hours of a soft and warm scent.
I realize many of the people consider this to be nothing special. And while it may not be anything special I consider it beeing a safe and clean scent and great for wearing at work. I will definetly continue wearing this. :)

blond2012

Very very weak- it disappears within 1-2 hours!!!!

Timetoski

I LOVED this but both times I've worn it, it disappears within an hour or two. I was suprised at that. I consider this a unique fragrance and appealing to my husband ( who doesn't like fragrances) as well.

gomt

I've read many negative opinions about this fragrance, and I must admit it sort of disappointed me too.

I enjoyed the first two to three hours: nothing exceptional, but a neat sparkling composition, classy and fresh citrus floral. Not the kind of perfume I usually pick, but nice still. It even got me wondering why is Premiere judged so harshly. Maybe it doesn't live up to the bottle, but is it so bad really?

I guess I found out later, about four hours after I spritzed it. The comparison is somewhat disgusting - sorry for that - but at this time Premiere started to remind me of... urine. It was awful, and so strong I couldn't wash it off. Half-washed off it started smelling alright again, but uh. Not wearable, or at least with my chemistry I'd have to wash it off after three hours while it's still pleasant.

ArkangeL

Gucci Premiere began very sheer, just as the gold tone owned by the bottle. As the fragrance became less transparent, it turned semi-warm... growing more appealing until the leather and musk failed terribly in the end. In its final phases, I was reminded of Red by Giorgio Beverly Hills. Gucci Guilty Intense is a far more sophisticated pick and very well made. This perfume was simply created for those who collect bottles and not so concerned about what's occupying them.

scain54

Reminds me of many a failed Avon..

Eleiria

"Nothing so special" in a beautiful bottle. The name and the ads make one think of the glamour of 40s, but, unfortunately the fragrance is too weak to support such an illustrious image. Premiere seemed nice and inoffensive on paper, however when I put it on my skin it was lost in the same minute. All I could smell was a faint alcoholic fruit, which I expect can be acquired from a simple cologne very cheaply and easily if I ever wanted such a thing. This is probably because my skin chemistry doesn't match with this fragrance however it was nothing special on paper either. That's about all I could say about Premiere.

Stephaniejanef

I already own Gucci Flora. Why buy its identical twin? Yawn!!

aristouka

Nice bottle, crazy price, nothing special at all! the smell is just ....disappointment!

iam2sexy4uris

Gorgeous bottle, but what's inside is nothing special, I've smelled this before a million times!
