Ok, on opening I get Chanel Chance eau Fraiche. On dry down I get more of the OG LPRN DNA. So if you're wondering what this smells like, put these two fragrances together and you have La Petite Robe Noire Eau Fraiche-just like the name implies. BTW: I had zero idea that this would resemble Chance so I wasn't looking for a correlation when I first sprayed it, I just noticed that they both had a zingy/ almost masculine cologne like opening and correlated the two after spraying it. I think I actually prefer this one to the original. My next LPRN purchase will be for the new intense version. I've heard it's a gourmand version of the original minus the licorice note which definitely appeals to me since the only fragrance I've ever really loved with that note is Lolita Lempicka.

TheCandyperfumegirl

I absolutely love the smell of Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire EDP but as that's more suitable for colder weather so I always wanted to have the suitable summer version of this gem. La Petite Robe Noire Eau Fraiche was on my wishlist for a really long time and finally I have it. It's everything I expected from a summer gourmand. It has the DNA of my favourite LPRN but with a fresher and airy touch.
The opening of this Fragrance is fresh and citrusy. Gradually it turns into sweet & nutty but not an overpowering fragrance. Somehow it reminds me of Lemon cake with Pistachio Almond Vanilla Frosting :p
The Floral and Fruity notes play a supporting role but to my nose the main noticeable notes are Citrus, Pistachio, Almond, Orange Blossom, Rose, Cherry & Vanilla. The fragrance is really well blended so it's kind of tough to detect individual notes.
The Longevity is around 4-5 hours which is not bad for an eau de toilette. The projection is moderate. But I believe it will leave a beautiful Scent trail in spring breeze. It's a perfect Spring/Summer fragrance. It's an inoffensive scent so you can easily wear it for office or meetings.
Overall I highly recommend this gem for those who love gourmand Fragrances and looking for an option for warmer weather.

Msala140

A beautiful take on a fresh fragrance . I get mostly cherry with the nuttiness of almond and pistachios in the dry down. No florals (yay) . Why do houses always discontinue their best fragrances?!

Vickalicious

I like this. It's got that mass-appealing, fruitchouli DNA that a lot of popular fragrances have (not a bad thing). It reminds me of a fruitier version of Coco Mademoiselle.

grapefruit352

Smells like a green apple on 90% and on 10% is bergamot. :) Somewhat close to apples of DKNY, but more delicate. Not bad at all! Maybe a bit overpriced IMHO.

bringprivateaccordback

you should never no blind buys... unless you find an almost full bottle of Guerlain from your local thrift store for 10€ - lucky me!

not gonna lie, I was surprised when I came in here to check the notes, main accords and comments. I can't understand how people get sweet-fruity-nutty-cherry from this. sweet pistachio ice cream? no way. in my nose, this scent is more of a floral patchouli. however, there is something exciting, even weird about Eau Fraiche. it's very complex, which I like. it's kind of spicy, but then again very fresh. oh, some sweetness - is that the cherry? or are the citruses creeping in? jasmine? vanilla? pistachio? no clue what's going on. not sure of the vibes either. this could be a rich lady judging everyone in the opera with her pearls or a hippie couple visiting a freaky art show while wearing the same perfume. but still... it's almost giving Chanel - I feel very classy when I put this on.

will continue to explore with this since sometimes it's good to have a little adventure!

I’m so happy that I could find it. I love this scent. I love the beautiful pistachio green juice in the bottle and of course it smells very nutty and fresh. I always regretted not picking this up. I have the blue one and recently, I really started to read about the green one and how disappointed people were that it has been discontinued. I had told a couple of sales associates at different beauty stores to let me know if they ever Restock this. I was told it’s impossible but luckily very recently a sales associate told me they found the last piece at their warehouse. I was excited like a child and it was going to be a blind buy … I was purely motivated to purchase this due to all the videos and reviews that I had come across. So I went in with a lot of expectations, but at the same time I was prepared that it could go wrong. So happy that it turned out to be amazing and I absolutely love it the best part it does have a similar DNA to all of the La petite fragrances … just that this one is more nutty and fresh. Which in my opinion is a very unique combination. Absolutely love it and I adore the bottle. It looks very pretty and smells even better.

Sirinaaa

The best out of all LPRN collection . Love love loveeeeee. Very fresh pistachio cherry almond😍Too sad it’s disappointed ☹️

FutureKiwi

I was mesmerized when I saw notes list here on Fragrantica - a crispy, nutty, cherry nectar with a lot of freshness. And yet I'm a fan of the original LPRN so there was no point to resist this. It turned out to be not exactly what I was hoping for and I blame patchouli, musk and peach for that. On me it's harsh, nauseating, heavy and it doesn't progress into next phases - it just stays as it is, totally flat. Today I've sold it and I really hope the new owner will be able to enjoy it better than I did. I look at the notes once again and I don't get it ... It should have been so good!

mlavender02

The fragrance does smell good. You do get that cherry and the citrus is the first part you smell before the cherry. However on my skin I don't get the nuttiness of the pistachio or almond. It is super subtle. On me I smell the cherry and the patchouli the most which still isn't bad. This is definitely a more fresher cherry fragrance. The longevity isn't great I probably get about a 3 hour wear then I would have to reapply. I don't mind having to reapply but just wished that it would last a lil longer and the nuttiness was a lil more.

cyclone1391

Pure heaven, absolute fragrance perfection for my tastes! Of course I would love something discontinued. Well blended but to my nose, soft almond flower, pistachio, slight cherry, tonka bean, and musk. Citrus is very prominent sniffing the atomizer but does not appear on my skin, although I am a citrus fan. Light and clean but good lasting power. Now off to hunt down backup bottles!

Update: yea still love this but reserve this for business casual or summer going out events. Prob the most complimented fragrance I've ever owned, even from my children, and we all know kids are savage critics.

Ashmoore84_1

This scent was suggested by a YouTuber as a fresh pistachio alternative to Kayali pistachio Yum and they're probably similar,
Minus the floral found in LPRNEF . The LPRN Eau Fraiche on my skin opens "citrusy", from the mandarin and a sweet citrus at that, then as it dries down I get slight fruits, very faint and as it continues drying down the scent turns into a powdery white floral-fresh scent. It's not bad, but not what I was looking for in a fresh pistachio fragrance. I want something sexy, unisex and refreshing that I can wear during the hot summer months. The closest I have to this already is Tom Ford Eau de Soliel Blanc. So I think I might declutter the LPRN Eau Fraiche..and stop blind buying.

Tacocat90

First impressions are of a mildly generic citrus and I am immediately disappointed. I adore kayali pistachio and really wanted something similar but slightly more fresh to wear for the summer. This, upon first spray is definitely fresh, but that is all I get with notes of bergamot and maybe pomelo really coming through for me.
However, five minutes in and something magical begins to happen on my skin. It begins to transform into a clean, almost powdery scent and as I sit at my desk working I begin to occasionally catch whiffs of candied pistachio and nougat. I find myself wildly sniffing, wondering what it is because when i smell my wrist all I get is that strong fresh citrus and the delicious smell I occasionally get is exactly what I wanted this to smell like. Suddenly, it dawns on me, the scent cloud. This is a strange perfume in that, for the first two or so hours what I smell on my skin and what I smell five inches away from my skin could almost be two different but complimentary perfumes. Without the citrus the nougat/toasted pistachio, candied almond smell would be syrupy and cloying, as it stands (on me) it is stunning.
It definitely becomes more subtle throughout the day, or maybe I'm going noseblind so I'll have to test tomorrow when I'm in the office but I still catch that occasional delicious smell that reminds me of the nougat and marzipan shops.
It is important to note that my skin tends to take whatever hint of sweetness is in any perfume and amplify it to almost disgusting levels, so this perfume might sit differently on you. For instance, on my boyfriend it is a fresh patchouli with an almost indistinguishable nuttiness. I really, really enjoy this perfume and will test it out for the next week or so but if it continues to perform the way it has today I can see this becoming my spring/summer scent.
In the evening, when it starts cooling down I put on a sweater I sprayed in kayali about a week ago and both fragrances work really well together.

mychinarose

I thought about buying Kayali Yum Pistachio Gelato (the bottle itself draws me in!), but after testing in Sephora I was on the fence. Then I realized I already have La Petit Robe Noir Eau Fraiche and it already completely satisfies what I’m looking for in a pistachio forward fragrance. To me this is pistachio ice cream with a medley of fruits in a compote, garnished with fresh fruits and pistachio and almond sprinkles in top, next to a vase of fresh spring flowers. It is perfect!

Maleficent's cotton candy

Clean, sweet, classy, soapy and strong. Smells expensive. Perfect summer fragrance. Long-lasting.

sakurafields

I seldom buy eau fraiche or toilette because they make me sneeze, but this one grew on me. I crave the pistachio scent recently. It's mild and subtle... But I'd still be careful wearing it on cloudy or chilly Spring days as the scent blooms and lingers. I over-sprayed last week (didn't expect the weather to be so cool) and triggered a sneeze-fest on the train. Nobody avoided me, though, so let's blame the pollen. Overall, love the gentle nutty, fresh scent, and it's not too common.

Update: This stays on my skin for 6hrs or more, and matches my body scent so well it still lingers after 10hrs. If I re-spray in-between, it becomes cloying.

villiruusut

I love the original LPRN and Black Perfecto and was a little apprehensive about the lighter counterparts in the line but this is delightfully nutty and airy. Makes for a very wearable spring/summer gourmand.

mariminney

Soapy. Nice, delicate, cherry.
I’m not the biggest fan of the line but I can see myself using it

ShayaK

Delicate fruit-cherry sweetness dipped in almond-vanilla sauce.
This fragrance contains the hazy transience of the moment.
Very musky, very subtle.
A sweet, girly proposition for spring and summer.

Jernê Knowles

Beautiful fragrance, light, with a clean scent that refers to tranquility. Ask for a sunny day, tenuous from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and that favors moments of fun!

Very citrusy opening, but a noble citrus, slightly powdery and with wedding flower bouquet nuances! A feeling of peace and imminent tranquility that lasts for long hours, yes, this phase takes time to evolve!

When drying, it is shiny and with viscid oily notes, you can smell the almond shells, as if it were at Christmas, lots of fresh flowers and the kind of retro Guerlain footprint; the roots do not deny its noble origin of well-built fragrance!

People complain, but in me La Petite Robe Noire Eau Fraiche has a dignified, monstrous sillage, something that makes people come and ask for the name. Here at the end it becomes a Pistachio ice cream with Musk and more Tonka resin, and even more a sarava of intimate noble flowers!

jessr777

I had such high hopes for this one because of the pistachio note. It opens like black licorice and then dries down into soap with a very, very faint creamy pistachio scent. Shame it’s so overpowered by the soap scent.

Chiquita Virtual

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT SO MUCH!!! Blind bought it because I was intrigued by the pistachio <3 this lil' petal dressed fella made it to my top 5 fav. It's the one I enjoy the most from the Petite Robe Noire collection :-) so sad it's discontinued.

irlfireprincess

I haven’t tried the original but in the opening I get a big blast of cherry cough medicine, and then it quickly dries down to something that smells like a man’s “freshie” fragrance. Was hoping to pick up on more fruits and florals and those nice nutty notes but I don’t.

Gruhlanska96

I kinda like it, but I don't love it.
In the opening is nicer than the dry down.
Staring with very light cherry and fresh composition then it goes to to basic colone like scent. I can even compare it to fabric softer smell. It's fine for summer, but definitely not something interesting to own.

Starlight_moon

I enjoy wearing this fragrance during spring season. It just performs better during this particular time of the year. I enjoy the freshness of it and at the same time still hint of the original LPRN DNA notes. Very nice fragrance.

Raluko111

I received a generous sample of this with a purchase from Guerlain and the only thing I could say when the sales girl was waving a freshly sprayed paper tester around me was "Hmm, interesting. Yeah, interesting." It`s supposed to be a floral (green) summer fragrance, with lots of different notes mixed in: bergamot, citrus, rose, almonds, freesia, and pistachio. I was intrigued and I`ve been wearing it for a few days now, but I kept feeling that there was something off about it, I just couldn`t put my finger on it. It is indeed very long lasting, but not in an overpowering or unpleasant way, and on my skin it smells the same as on the paper tester. Then it hit me, it smells exactly like my partner`s after-shave. Went to the bathroom cabinet and the scents of my Petite Robe and his after-shave were practically indistinguishable. Not a fan.

SailorV

I had already tried this once or twice back when it was available in stores and wasn't that impressed, but I really wanted to retest it from a sample because of the pistachio note. I have read reviews that mentioned imagery like 'eating creamy pistachio ice-cream in the park', which sounds right up my alley.
Unfortunately I don't get it. This just smells like a lighter La Petite Robe Noire with a citrus-fresh top note and without any licorice. So, it's a sparkling cherry-almond/tonka fruitchouli. Which is nice enough, but there are so many LPRN flankers and other similar scents around that I understand why Guerlain discontinued this version. I find this to be a little too undefined, none of the notes really pop and stand out, especially not the green notes or the pistachio I hoped for. This Eau Fraîche really feels like a washed-out LPRN to me. It's okay, maybe bordering on a weak like, but my least favorite from this line so far.

It's very interesting to me that 24 people find this similar to Omnia Green Jade. To my nose these are completely different scents. This is fruity and fizzy, Omnia is soft and powdery. I still haven't found my perfect pistachio scent and don't find the pistachio intense enough in the Omnia either, but at least I can smell it there.

Gruhlanska96

Fresh green scent, smell like grass. It could be also unisex.

GuleeJanah

I did a blind buy during a sale, a risky move that didn’t work out. It was way too gourmand for me, the first spray was a deceptive light hit of florals but in moments became something far too stale yet offensive at the same time for my tastes. If I could describe it, it smells like those expensive home boutiques in middle class areas that just have that very gourmand, not quite perfume, but room spray quality in the air. Almost like a stale pistachio almond pastry but no marzipan sweetness. Thankfully my elder sister liked it so I gave it to her.

inspe13

It's annoying. Not like a fragrance annoying, more like an annoying person. There are some people in our lives. You may keep telling yourself that they are not bad at all. But every habit of theirs annoys the heck out of you.
This is this fragrance. It's kind of ordinary: mash of green, nutty, citrusy and patchouli. It would be standard if it was not so inexplicably annoying to me. I won't be able to finish a decant.

VictoriaSmells

This weirdly smells like Womanity on my skin... Not a bad thing (i love Womanity) but it's not what I was hoping for.

I bought this because I wanted a nutty pistachio and almond dry down. But all those tart fruits keep it very sour and borderline fleshy/sweaty on my skin. Again, not complaining. But if you're not into that, you'll probably be disappointed in this.

While eau fraiche isn't meant to project much or last terribly long, I find that i still smell it on my skin up to eight hours after spraying. But deep in my skin, intimate sillage, it doesn't leave a trail.

glitterizer

Blind bought this based on the notes and I couldn't be more disappointed. I feel like all the facets nullify and mute each other. It's not bright enough to be citrusy, the nuttiness is extremely subtle (if I really use my imagination I *kind* of get the green pistachio), and there's barely any sweetness... to me all that's left is a vague watery "tea" floral with that LPRN sour cherry DNA, which I now realize is really not for me after trying Intense, Black Perfecto and BP Florale. This is me officially giving up on liking something from this line. Sillage is also non-existent.

bel.gravia

La Petite Robe Noire Eau Fraiche keeps the cherry and the almond of the OG but in a feather light weight. There is a happy pistachio note. It really suits the light green color, as it is pretty scent of pistachio (sort of woody green like fig and sandalwood) with almond (powdery) cherries (sweet) and all the bright notes. I was thinking of EDT but its quite similar to Eau Fraiche so I am not sure if I need the EDT. A solid like from me.

Zombie Apocalypse

I really dont care much for this fragrance. Its a bit hard to discribe because its a mixed bag of notes. To me it smells EXACTLY like the lime frozen popsicle that was always left behind in the box. Also like mens cologne a bit. I do smell some sort of nutty smell but hard to really say. Also it smells quite artificial due to mishmesh of notes and i dont think it works for me.

I much prefer Chanel Chance au fraische to this. (masterly blended)

goreweaver

Petales is a trickster. She is unequivocally a creature of the forest, surpassing jejune and detached 'fairy' status. Instead, she is born from the moss and dirt and instinct that runs true life. Possessor of an immortal smirk. A guilty sort of addiction to her contrarian personality although she is made of all things sweet at the core. It is like wading barefoot through grass - natural and ecstatic yet uncommon and strange in the unforgiving eyes of greater society. You run away to Petales to escape obligation and play with a youthful glow of sweat in the wild green. She is always ready.

This is one of two that kickstarted my fragrance journey and I am not going to lie when I say that my like of Petales depends VERILY on the weather. I cannot wear it indoors or controlled climate without getting that sick and sour cherry which presents itself like a layer of day-end sweat. But. In the heat and outside winds I get long sweeps of jammy fruits and wet greens as I believe it was intended. If the nuts were omitted, I would turn my like into a love but their combination with the SHARP, sharp citrus and patchouli is oft stomach-churning. I wish I could always perceive this fragrance as light and fruity and green outside of warm conditions, but my nose betrays me. Petales will always have a place in my heart and the premier spot in my S/S arsenal but she cannot fulfill me truly. A unique scent for young women who are prepared to stand out from the average sweet bouquet.

leaves caught in cool spring wind, piquant dried citrus, pebbles tumbled in a shaded stream, faint memories of childhood fruit.

Yzabell

This is a lovely almondy, slightly patchouli scent that has no sillage and no lasting power. This could have been a fragrance in the Aqua Allegoria line in a larger and less expensive bottle as one needs to spray it over and over again to catch a glimpse of the scent throughout the day.

AtelierLicorice

This is possibly the strangest fragrance I’ve ever experienced. When spraying it I could smell a dry citrus-pistachio and then... nothing. I tried it for weeks on my skin, on my clothes, in a cloud in the air that I walked through, and it continued to vanish immediately upon application. I purchased it directly from Guerlain so I assume it’s just some kind of instant anosmia and not a watered down bottle. From what I did manage to smell, it’s very different from the other LPRN flankers, and not at all sweet—more fresh and green, making it a surprisingly good unisex scent.

MaxieF

This is lovely. Pistachio, almond, vanilla, and some indistinguishable fruits. Very very similar to Sophia by Sophia Vergara. I like it :). The patchouli is not spicy or earthy, it's fresh and light. Leans unisex.

Rissa11

I absolutely hate the first 15 minutes of this fragrance, but the dry down is wonderful. It becomes this warm nutty smell that is so fresh at the same time. I love wearing this to the office as it is so non-offensive.

Nraveles

A fresh scent without being generic.
Sweet and nutty, zesty, and airy. So good!

JennyRDH

If Chanel Chance Eau Fraiche is a like, then this is a love for me. It suits my skin chemistry so well and last till the next day. This fragrance is surprisingly not sweet on me at all. All the notes were well balanced, and makes me feel beautiful every time I wear it.

LawmaLlama

I want to love and not just really like this one. It smells lovely and lasts 6-7 hours on me. I find it to be so much better than the original, but not quite fresh enough or intoxicating enough for me to crave it. It is quite nice though, a solid like!

poopeapoopa

My skin smells too prominent patchouli. Sorry, patchouli is very strong.

UnearthlyApothecary

I like this more then I thought I would. if you are buying it for the pistachio note you may be disappointed, I get none. 0, zip. What I DO get is a light, fresh, zesty fruitchouli. A little citrus, a little fruit, a bit of florals, just the right amount of sweetness. The patchouli takes over fairly quickly but I love patch so, no issue there. Nicely blended, very wearable. A great scent for summer. pretty good silage.

aspirina

It opens with a burst of citrus notes, followed by rose and white flowers. The notes of almond and pistachio are subtle but persistent. It is a very light scent, but it lasts a few hours on my skin. This is office safe and very elegant. I think this could be an aqua allegoria scent, it is not really similar to Le petite robe noire. It is still easy to find online. Blind buy? only if you are sure that you love almond and light floral scents. It has the Guerlain DNA.

emeraldwaters

?? All you get is citrusy florals. I detect zero nuttiness or fruitiness listed here. Very disappointed

EllaDe7

To me it smells like herbal tea on top of other pleasant notes.

Mitsouko-san

After testing on paper, I was going to write that this was what I thought LPRN ETC should have been. The sour top notes of LPTN EDP without the base notes, with some florals and soapiness. I was going to say that without the deep notes of the EDP, it's too unbalanced.

But it's so different on skin! Florals immediately take over, and for a while it's just slightly astringent flowers with musk. I can do without that part. I was going to write that it's not terrible, but dull and simple, and that I need some deeper notes to round it out in the base. Not to mention that I was disappointed by the lack of anything like nuttiness. But that wasn't all! Finally, some gourmand-y notes came in (I assume partly pistachio, but definitely also tonka). Patchouli keeps the gourmand notes fresh - I'm surprised by the few mentions of patchouli. Detecting those individual notes is no easy feat at this point, with everything coming together seamlessly. Do you know, I actually do quite like this stage. The question is whether I want to go through the 30-60 minutes of high-strung florals in order to get here.

I'm sitting here stroking my imaginary beard because it's interesting how these deeper notes have appeared, and yet it's in this phase that I'm starting to understand the green image Guerlain has evoked with the color of the bottle (must be a patchouli association). Will have to keep testing this some more. I can imagine it really being appealing in summer.

Update: drydown is clean, musky vanilla and tonka. I rare come across a perfume that ends this warmly after such a floral-dominant stage near the beginning. The performance is surprising. Nine hours after testing and it's still going strong.

Edit a few days later: whoa!! It smells different today, I think because of warmer weather. It's actually green from the start, and it's no longer just florals screeching alone. There's a smooth, dewy, green, aquatic note that's there as well, and the gourmand note has come in much earlier. I like this progression much more.

bodnerrachel

Pistachio, almond, and almond blossom carry this fresh, green, fruity floral scent. It's young at heart, not overpowering, and without much projection. Although it's discontinued, you can still find bottles for sale online. It's definitely a Guerlain original. It has an unpleasant after-scent that doesn't agree with me. 5/10

Mea.G.Newcastle

Ouh this is gorgeous!!! Although it is discontinued I was lucky to find a big bottle on sale 😊
Never owned any of LPRN but always wanted to and I started with this one. I really love it but the sillage and lasting power are weak 😢
It’s a nice fruity sweet scent, not overly sweet, with lots of pleasant almond and pistachios in it. In the dry down it is a light creamy almond vanilla scent, really lovely and comforting also usable as a cozy bedtime fragrance, which for I used it the most 😊 I find it really suitable for this early spring weather but I’m curious how it will behave in warmer weather too.

AlexandraTroush

I've been wearing it for two days and so far I'm really liking it! This might even grow into a love.

It's fresh but not fleeting, more complex than the average spring citrus scent. The sweetness here is never too much, and I can imagine this harvesting lots of compliments. It's exactly the right balance between fresh and sweet, floral and citrus. It's like those sweet&sour candies I used to love as a child, but not AS sour. This isn't "bathroom spray" citrus, but rather lemon candy citrus. I can't really feel the pistachio note, but I feel like the fragrance needs some time to "settle" after its journey to me. It's beautiful nonetheless.

Of course, as many have said before, this doesn't project much and lasts for only a couple of hours (after that it's a soft skin scent). But isn't it perfect for certain occasions? You don't want to wear something overpowering to work (in most cases), to a professional environment, to a more conservative surrounding. Even I, as someone who loves everything Mugler, sometimes need my days off. I sometimes crave something light and cheerful (though not boring). This green delight is exactly that for me. Light and cheerful, but never boring. I'm really enjoying this.

zgeco

Similar to Edt version. Reduce the green apple scent, add slight cream, get Eau Fraiche version.

Nice and lovely. This scent is absolutely from the family, soft and creamy but lacks the sultry attitude of Edp and Legere. It lacks tea and cherry, and - yes it is nutty, almondy- but not in the marzipan way of other girls in the family. I dont think it is a fresh scent but it is the freshest of the family.

One may love this scent on its own. If one treats her a member of LPRN, then it is definitely not the most adorable member, but ok to have..

Honestly I think it is only for the die- heart fans of La Petite Robe Noir family.

Marisa36

If you already have LPRN edt, then you don’t need this one in my opinion. They smell very similar. Eau Fraiche maybe just not as sweet as the edt and I got a strong whiff of licorice in the opening even though it’s not listed as a note.

Natalia91

Finally I managed to get my hands on this perfume as it has been discontinued. Completely blind buy but I am pleasantly surprised. It has the original LPRN DNA but it is fresher and perfect for spring/summer. So far 3h longevity which for EDT is good.
I love, love, love Guerlain and the LPRN line.

Update: 7.5 hours later the scent is still present. Great performance on my skin.

sparklyunicorn

This one is sweet and while maintaining the original DNA, somehow added some 'fresh' notes in here along with the pistachio that I only really get at the opening. I think it is a nice 'easy-reach' when you want to be casual, feminine and put-together. It is a lovely one to have in my collection. It is great and I don't regret getting it.

zaikazaika

I know a lot of Guerlain collectors will dismiss it "another unnecessary 100th flanker" (to which they have a point!), but it's actually a very pleasant creamy green spring/summer scent! It's like the original Robe Noire without the sweetness - definitely has the DNA of the older sister. Almond and pistachio mixed with freesia make an awesome gentle fragrance; excellent for those who might feel a bit too sensitive to stronger perfumes. Surprisingly, it also lasts quite a bit of time on my skin, which was very unexpected given it's an eau fraiche.

I will be wearing it to family gatherings as my other perfumes are too "loud" for non-perfume aficionados :)

OG LPRN with added pistachio n almond

Reminiscent of Mon Guerlain EDT/Coco Mademoiselle

Smells like a good mom

I loved the scent of the robe noire (pink bottle) I had of this brand prior to this one, and I love that it contains so many nutty elements throughout the scent in this bottle. It is a beautiful scent although I would prefer if it were a little stronger. It’s cute how they have the French on the bottle as well, although not necessary. I am hoping to get more bottles of these in the future.

Lalouve<3

There is nothing airy and soft about this, it is just a sickly sweet green floral mess of a scent. Worn during summer?God no!Suitable for winter?not really...It is just the same mess regardless of seasons...

The sad thing about this perfume and many others is, that tested with shop testers perfumes smell amazing, and then buying the actual scent based on your testing experience you get sorely disappointed. Was the tester a pre reformulation perhaps, and the sell a reformulated version?who knows?it seems to be a trend with perfume houses.

I read in another review that this is discontinued. Good. Noone else gets to waste their money in this mess of a perfume.

@LightOfJoy

Thank you, it's the freesia! the freesia flowers in white:)

LightOfJoy

The scent description is pretty accurate with this one.

This perfume is what it's meant to be - an Eau Fraiche to be worn on the hottest, humid days to make one feel fresh and fragrant, but without being overbearing or too sweet, despite the patchouli.

"Ma Robe Petales" is definitely different enough from the other flankers, but still related. It opens fresh, light, citrusy and a little green. Honestly, I pick up most of the notes listed. One note I'd like to point that I don't hear mentioned often is the freesia, it's there and plays nicely with the pistachio, almond, and almond blossom. I wouldn't classify this as a gourmand, even though those notes might make it seem like it would be. I'm glad I purchased a large pretty bottle on sale, its gorgeous green juice is now a staple.

kkaattjjeess

Just got this in the mail, it's one of those perfumes where I knew I will love it, just based on the notes, reviews and brand (I loved 95% of all the Guerlains I ever tried so far).

This is indeed lovely, pistachio-almond-cherry, does have the LPRN base but without smokiness and with a lot less cherries. Very smooth, pleasant, just stunning.

Not groundbreaking by any means (Eau Fraiche versions are not meant to be groundbreaking, not sure what some of the other commenters were expecting from this perfume to be honest), but a solid every day perfume. I would probably walk up to someone and ask what are they wearing, if I smelled this and didn't know what it was.

smile4thecamera

Well much has been written about this, but I personally think it's a beautiful scent for the summer. It's very inexpensive and quite refreshing. I get a tiny bit of anise in the opening, which I like and I'm not a huge anise fan, but this is just the right amount. I think the jasmine and freesia make it fresh and the undertone of raspberry, peach and strawberry lend just enough sweetness. I'm not sure I notice the pistachio, because to me that would translate into something a bit woodier - not getting any of that here. It could be the patch is what puts people off, but I quite like it and without it, it would just be a skin scent. It's a great value from a wonderful perfume house!

jumblecupcake

Imaging an upper middle class college girl - clean, polished, smart and she is in a Brook Brothers' outfit- that is what she smells like.

Jacklyn's Perfumery

What a beautiful surprise. This was one I wanted to collect for the bottle alone because I heard many saying it was too chemical like for them to wear which discouraged me for a long time to buy it. But to my surprise this was nothing like that for me. Guerlain literally took the top's and freshness that was in LPRN Intense and made it into this fragrance to make it Eau Fraiche and I love it. So if you love the Intense Edp blueberry version then you will love this because it has the backbone of LPRN with the slight cherry note, but it's all about the freshness of the Intense version without the blueberries.

Very nice and I love the big 3.4oz bottle in green it's so pretty. For the price you can get it for this is an underrated gem great for the spring, summer, casual daytime & easy enough to wear for the office. LPRN Eau Fraiche gives off a nice effervescent feel to it that's partially sweet, yet refreshing. I don't particularly smell the pistachio or nutty vibe in this like I had hoped for, but I still love it anyway's. You can get it for an incredible price too. I believe LPRN Eau Fraiche has been discontinued though I'm not certain so get it while the prices are low because it is a beauty for sure. Lighter and fresher for summertime at an affordable price. Guerlain makes such amazing fragrances.

MissyJ

Don't love this. Might be a good one in summer but doesn't hit the mark in cooler weather. I read the reviews about window cleaner and although it's not what I had originally thought, now they've said it I can understand what they mean.

RoseBalm

I’m a fan of the whole PRN line, with the EDP being my favourite. I blind bought a small bottle because I’ve never met a PRN I didn’t like. Wasn’t expecting much because I see it’s not hugely popular, but it turns out I absolutely love it.

Starts as a fresh burst of soft citrus, but still with the distinctive PRN backbone (I see other reviews disagree but I can definitely tell it’s part of the family) and fades after about an hour into a lovely creamy green scent. Pistachios, cream, cakes but airy and fresh. Just a lovely innocent perfume with just enough interest to stop it being shallow. It may have become my favourite PRN. Definitely a spring/summer scent

Roses and Thyme

I’ve been reaching for this quite a bit because it is a cheerful fragrance. It is not a clean, fresh fragrance which took me off-guard a little. It has a little warmth to the base but it still isn’t heavy so it can be worn during the heat. I say all this and yet it still manages to have a fresh note in it. Perhaps it is better to say it is not a crisp fragrance.

It’s only an edt so it does not last long on my skin or project hugely but that’s fine during the hot, humid summer. I like it and glad I got a bottle even if it isn’t ground breaking.

bodnerrachel

A lovely light fragrance of pistachios and almonds and tonka beans and mild citrus, cherry, and patchouli. It's pleasant and mild. Not a huge "signature scent", but it was never meant to be that. I think they meant this scent to be for when you're gardening or keeping house or watching your kids and want to feel fresh and scented. Now that the Eau Fraiche is being phased out, you can find very good deals on it online. I would buy one just to keep for those days when you want a soft, green floral scent to perk up your mood. You really can't go wrong with a Thierry Wasser.

Annabear

It has a very slight ammonia note in it which reminds me of Windex.
Maybe this was what they were spraying with abandon in the Big Greek Wedding movie? It also smells like the inside of an aircraft cabin to me, not in an unpleasant way.
I don’t know if I’ll keep it, I’m going to be back in Asia next month, so it might work in the heat and humidity, and it’s coming into summer in Sydney. I’ll reserve my decision until the end of the season.

Scarbie

I reviewed this fragrance before and I still love it. I had not worn it in a long time but after picking up Bath & Body Works' Toasted Praline & Pear lotion it made me want to layer this perfume on top. It worked out perfectly. I originally thought this fragrance was more appropriate for warmer months but it is good for fall too! The pistachio is what makes this scent special to me.

turkishgirl

smell like product for your toilet lol... not good at all

aguschinita

I think it may be the pistachio, but there’s something nauseating in the dry down. I agree that smells like wc cleaner.
I found this one at a very reduced price ($15) at Marshall’s. I returned it, so disgusting!

raiza1990

Tested it multiple times. To me, it smells like a wc cleaner, but a good and sweet one. Weird, i know. i was expecting it to be fresher but it wasn't as fresh as i imagined. It isn't a bad fragrance, but i didn't fell in love with it. The almond note is good, a bit bitter but sweet, but it didn't save this scent for me. I don't know what else to say, i am still trying to make sense of this perfume.
Maybe the tester bottle had turned? who knows.
Anyway, i think there are better fresh fragrances out there and better almond dominant ones.
Sorry for the weird review.

Anne00

Bought it during the summer because I wanted a sweeter perfume among the typical summer scents and because I liked the pistacho. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of EDT's who last long on me and neither did this one.
So at first, I wasn't that impressed and actually regretted my purchase.
But then I started to reconise a hint that was familiar. Couldn't track it down until I've read Raw Umber's review here! :-D There's idd a slight hint of Mugler's Innocent. Who'd expext that in a Guerlain perfume? :-D

So although the staying power on me wasn't great, I started to like this scent more and more.
And then it got discontinued and I stopped wearing it cause I'm fed up with getting attached to perfumes who get discontinued.
I've tried the newer lighter versions of LPRN but I miss the pistacho in them.

Jacquis

On a hot and sticky 93 degree day, LPRN eau fraiche EDT opens with a sprite citrus note but quickly settles into a semi-sweet and smooth berry, floral fragrance. It is quite pleasant, refreshing and lovely on this hot day. This is only suited to summer for me. I am not very familiar with pistachio so I could not comment on that note. If that is the smooth creaminess near the opening, then it's lovely. I cannot smell the rose but the berries are definitely present in the drydown. This does not smell like a very complex fragrance but looking at the notes, I guess that's the genius of it. Longevity is above average on clothing. Not much projection. A good summer freshie.

shinayu

This smells like a cross between a men's cologne and a women's fresh summery fruity perfume. I wasn't sure I was going to get this based on the opinions that were posted here on the page, but for some reason, I have had it on my want list ever since I came across the whole LPRN line. Since this was a discontinued one I thought why not own it when the price is pretty good as well!
I am so glad I did buy it and own it. It is a very fresh scent that is quite androgynous. I feel like it can be worn by men, women or anyone really. This is a very easy breezy perfume to wear in the summer or spring. I didn't think I would like it as much as I thought. It's fresh and also clean but not boring. It's a bit sweet but it's a good balance of sweetness. Definitely a good blind buy!
Longevity is so-so, but I don't mind since I do bring my perfume out and top it up during the day anyway!

raw umber

Cross the original (mainstream) LPRN EdP with Mugler’s Innocent and you’ll have LPRN Eau Fraiche. I don’t have Innocent anymore so I’m working from memory here but it’s uncanny.

ReWeegh

Gibby0801 - you nailed it down perfectly!
Little thing I would only add - on me rose does not exist, but rather the freesia and it is finally the freesia note I was looking for so long ago! Fresh, cheerful, not momsy.
At the very end it is unmistakably LPRN as it settles down to a sour cherry almond scent, but much lighter than the mother scent.
I would say this Eau Fraiche is the best from the line. Just does not get why Guerlain discontinued it....

Swedelish

Ooh I like this. Quite a lot. The citrus green vibe isn't overwhelming nor too screechy as in say, Chance Eau Fraiche. This leans in that direction but it's a delicious, much more interesting version of it. Where the other is crisp and sharp, this is crisp with warmth, which I didn't expect. There's a definite fruitiness which comes across as pear. I pick out rose pretty strongly as well as jasmine. Pistachio wouldn't have been my first guess if I didn't know, but I can sort of imagine melted pistachio ice cream in there. And almond blossom! As it dries down it keeps the sporty freshness but stays creamy at the same time. I'm really really liking this and the way it develops. Not my usual sort of grab but I'm trying to be less restrictive with my choices these days. I'll put this on my list and see if I don't end up with a bottle eventually. Thanks to explodingbluestar for the generous decant! I was wrong when I said it's just okay :)

Emera1d

When I first tested it in the shop I could smell the pistachio note and liked it as it is different-don't think I have smelled anything like it, so bought a FB. I have been wearing it on and off this summer and I can't smell the pistachio any more. I can definitely smell the almond and cherry, its sweet and you cant tell it is a flanker of LPRN.
It is a bit too sweet for me and I can feel that despite my best attempts I am starting to dislike it a little bit. I can totally see why it is Fraiche, not as cloying sweet as the original but still a definite gourmand.
I have a nearly full 100ml bottle if anyone wants to swap.

gtabasso

I loved the top and wish it stayed there. It was mostly florals (freesia and almond blossom), very green and sharp with a hint of raspberry and cherry; it gets fruitier but not nutty and some patch, musk and tonka are present. This is not like LPRN. Less gourmand, more floral, fresh and green. Not for fall and winter. I'm wearing this in the summer. As it dried down, it became all about the cherry on second wearing. So funny that scents morph based on what we might have worn in the last few days.

Blueflowers

This is fresh, flirty and fun--built around the gourmand cherry-almond-rose heart of LPRN. There's more citrus, and a good bit more fresh green than the original, along with a few fun extras, like pistachio. I think I like this better than the original, in fact, due to it's cheery lightness. It reminds me of a spumoni cake served with chilled green tea.

It never loses the fresh greenness on my skin, but it does develop a wonderful nutty creaminess as time goes on, along with a light touch of a gorgeous white musk.

The nuttiness of this is fun as well, not a roasted nut but a not-quite-ripe pistachio/almond.

Fruity floral gourmands are everywhere this decade, but few stand out amidst the mob like this little celadon colored darling.

I can see myself wearing this often as the weather warms up.

It lasts longer than I thought as well, with the soft, Guerlain style sillage I prefer in my fragrances.

ETA: L O effin L, of course it's discontinued. It can be found heavily discounted online as of this writing, though!

Okay, I should start by actually advising all you female fragranticans out there - that when you are either pms-ing or menstruating what your nose picks up is totally different as well as your body chemistry.I knew that beforehand but I couldn't however imagine such a huge difference that would affect my love-hate preference-button so much.

My story with this perfume goes as follows:One day before my period I'm on a perfume-smelling hunt at Sephora.I first spray perfumes on testers and if I really like the notes then I decide which ones I'm going to try on me.

So, when I paper-tested this one I was mind-blown!What a lovely fragrance on the positive 'woah' category!I tested it on my skin afterwards to see how it went on with my body chemistry. I liked it on me even though the drydown was too sweet and flowery. Because of that drydown I had mixed feelings about whether I should buy it or not.I waited a couple of weeks for the sephora eshop to put it on sale along with another perfume I was also interested in and decided to but it.So, I received this and tried it AFTER my period. It is as if they are 2 diferrenet perfumes or as if I had two different personalities. My nose picks up different notes now, and I don't like it neither on me, nor sprayed on a paper sample. I just not like the notes I smell now - whereas while I was menstruating (or rather close to menstruating) I loved them!I am genuinely baffled by this, because despite the fact that I knew that a perfume will smell different on me during that time because of the hormones, I did not expect my nose to pick up different notes when spraying it on paper too.

I am quite curious though how I will like it on my next period -will I love it again and be able to wear it, or was it a one-time love kind of thing? I just don't know what to expect anymore - I give up!lol -sighs...-

jana.hullinghorst

definitely has that "comet scouring powder" smell in the beginning like the EDT. but quickly softens to a nice citrus nutty scent with just a touch of the original peeking through.

KitKat

I am not really a big fan of LPRN line. I have never tried edp version, I did have couture and hated it - it was VERY sour on me. This was blind buy based on reviews here and i am so glad i got it. it will be beautiful for summer.

PricklyAndHot

I wish it would smell like pistachio ice-cream, but unfortunetly not. Not catchy. But maybe I should try it again.

VioletNoir

i bought a sample of this based off the reviews on fragrantica and im so happy i did. it smells amazing. i love how clean it is yet with a fresh and creamy undertone. definitely FBW, in fact i want to make this my signature scent. its that good.

cookieal

i just sampled this, and i like it a lot.
i was expecting something more citrusy, close to chance eau fraiche reading the main ingredients, but this is creamy- powdery, not sour, with a sugared muted citrus that reminds me a lot of saharienne YSL in the dry down (which is a lovely summer perfume with , suddly, such a poor longevity, though a perfume!), thankfully this has a very discend longevity..
it opens with a lovely creamy pistachio smell, rear in fresh perfumes.
it's a like till now. i 'm considering buying.

AnitaHendricks

Le Petite Robe Noir contains very strong, syrupy sweet notes. Those are well balanced with the Guerlain chiqueness which is quite heavy too. I'm in love with that perfume. This version smells empty and stripped in comparison. The chiqueness is still there but the counterweight is gone! Where is the body? I like the pistachio, almond and citrus notes. They're wonderful on their own but so overwelmed in this composition! It's a pity. I tried to like this perfume but it became too nauseating after a while. I had to wash it off. Please, Guerlain? Could you create a eau fraîche version of this eau fraîche? Like they say in The Netherlands: "Bijna maar nog niet helemaal!" ("Almost but not yet there!")

sophie0107

It reminds me of Chanel chance eau Fraiche which smells like a cheap bathroom air freshener to me. Hence, LPRN eau fraiche gives me the same kind of vibe. It has nothing to do with the original LPRN, which I own and adore.

sf2explus

I got this for my wife as a gift after being recommended by a guerlain sales assistant.
She wore it when we went out to tower bridge with me a few days ago and I kept getting this amazing semi fresh light sweet scent, slightly creamy and fruity but everything in great balance with very good projection around an arms length and my wife is a very light sprayer when it comes to fragrances.
I loved it on her and it's the best women's scent I have ever smelt, and I have smelt a lot including niche. From now on I will keep buying her this. You can smell the high quality with this. It is a very delicate luxury smell.
Very unique.
We went out at 1 pm and got the tube back at 7 and I could still faintly smell it on her, great spring/summer scent. This can be a signature scent as it will not offend anyone. To me it seems Guerlain fans are stuck in old ways and don't realise for the house to exist in the future we need modern versions of the classics.
Best for warmer weather

Arabian Girl

I like it but it is really lacking body and projection. The highly pleasant pistachio and almond notes here are severely watered down and fade too quickly to let you enjoy them. It's a shame since I think this scent had so much potential and could have been much better.

socorrosouza

I think LPRN Eau Fraiche is much more complex, it has the almond and pistachio notes plus a beautiful citric accord and lasts more than Chance Eau Fraiche on my skin (5/6 hours vs 4). Chance Eau Fraiche was a big disappoitment for me, I love lemony scents but CEF was just lemon, and cedar, the flowers were almost indistinct on my skin. And lasted only for 4 hours with moderate sillage. Plus I had used previously a Brazilian scent called Paris 1 (very cheap too, less than US$6 for 75 ml) that I discovered was the exact same aroma only with more longevity (5 to 8 hours, depending on temperature) and a bit more flowery.

Nuitdenoel

I just applied LPRN Eau Fraiche opposite LPRN Couture -- blind bought both and zero regrets! On my skin, the citrus is what shines...this smells very much like a more complex Chance eau Fraiche. It is light and sparkling, sunny and green, although on my skin I am not getting much pistachio. This is really lovely. It will be hard deciding between the two to decide what to wear for the day! I was wrong about this entire line. No, it isn't a "classic" Guerlain, which I do love and own several, but it is a beautiful line all on its own. I had Chance Eau Fraiche on my want list but LPRN EF is so lovely and checks all the boxes that I see no need for the Chance.

Neither the sillage nor projection is strong; wish it was stronger. I will update this review and of the Couture once I've worn them longer.

EDIT: Sillage and projection are as expected for an eau de toilette but longevity surprised me. Granted, I was basically shoving my wrist up my nose but I could still detect a lingering scent. I never got the pistachio but I'm not too bummed about that because different notes play out differently on individuals.

Saying this is a more complicated Chane Eau Fraiche is not an insult to either fragrance. As I said, I wanted the Chance as well, but this is so perfect for me that I no longer need the Chanel, If I was one of those people who LPRNeF was warm and creamy, or significantly nutty, then I would take the Chance, too. On me, though, LPRNeF is in the same vein --a lovely green citrus floral. I do absolutely love it! Perfect for all occasions and it does well in the heat.

EDIT: The weather is a little more mild today and I sprayed it all over. Today, the rose and the fruits are prominent with the "Fraiche" aspect carrying the floral and fruit. So, so good.

Rux2589

The pistachio note stays enough to let you enjoy it and fades before it even gets a chance to become boring. A very successful addition, in my opinion!

Casual and office-friendly. Indeed a very soft scent, but I prefer it this way and believe that its main goal should be the wearer's own pleasure. :)

this one opens sharp and male'ish on my skin - I guess the citruses. After 20 minutes it calms down and starts to get creamy, nutty and a bit skinclose. Maybe not struck by total-love, but I like it - alot. In my opinion best at spring/fall.

pearlbelle

I don't know if this was what Guerlain were intending with this fragrance, but it reminds me of Tinkerbell! Petal dress and green liquid, when I first heard of this new one, it immediately reminded me of her!
Onto the fragrance, it's pistachio ice cream! It smells minty to my nose, with a little sprinkle of orange. The original LPRN is in my top three favourite fragrances of all-time, and Thierry did it again with this stunning little gem!

kerion

Sadly I do not enjoy this one much. I think I expected it to be fresher but it comes off very creamy and warm to me. I much prefer LPRN Couture.

davide2111

Prodotto consigliato, olfattivamente rende pulizia.

I love this eau de toilette! Very delicate like unfolding the petals of a rose! Such beautiful notes that always leave me smelling my wrists after spraying! It's a soft and light scent that is perfect for spring time. Slightly sweet but mainly very fresh, this is the scent I wear when I want to feel pretty! Perfect if you want something subtle that still has great layers. I love the piastachio which I only get once its dried down. I can smell more of the floral and nutty notes more then the citrus. I would say this is very different from la petite robe noire range of bold and sharp notes, I would recommend trying this out if you go past a guerlain counter! The only downside is that it's not very long lastung but it is an EDT!
Perfect for a lover of fresh floral scents!

pearlbelle

You get a really bright citrusy opening when you spray it first off, then a little while later, it dries down to a nice nutty middle, almond and pistachio standing out the most. Love this perfume!

LadyIva

I bought this for my sister - she was looking for a fresh, citrusy-woody-nutty scent with a patchouli base, bordering on unisex, and this LPRN flanker ticked all the boxes. If you are a fan of such scents, grab this one before it disappears from the shelves.

Anna Mem.

the same as La Petite Robe Noire, but more soft, and not long lasting, up to 3 hours..

hailes_xx

A masculine hyper sweetness, nutty, peppery, sugary... chemically if I'm being honest. It's not terribly pleasant to my nose. I adore the bottle but the smell gives me a headache and turns bad on my skin.

meganismagic

In La Petite Robe Noire’s perfume wardrobe, I am the new Petal Dress. A perfumed creation by Guerlain: An Eau Fraîche in which
FRAGRANCE
Green floral Sparkling, Joyful, Exhilarating The fragrance takes off with an explosion of mandarin scattered with a shower of green notes. Then the roses come onto the scene, refreshed by an armful of freesia, caressed by the sensuality of apricot and dazzled by sun-kissed notes. The indispensable gourmand touch? The delicious pistachio, note imbued with the house style. Last but not least, white musk and patchouli enfold the entire composition in a delicate, silky

I absolutely love this.
Last remarkably long for a fraiche.
Strong and attention getting
Sophisticated and chic
Expensive smelling
Apricot and pistachios hard to pick up
Best in early spring -has a cut flowers and petals scent with a dew smelling essence in it.
The bottle is beautiful, glass with rounded edges, upside-down heart top, with a cloth ribbon saying Guerlain on it. Very luxe and gorgeous add to my collection.
I've used this quite a bit and it still seems like a brand new bottle. So, long lasting with a good atomizer.
I spray mist this across my body and am not scared that I am being obnoxious. The scent is nice and relaxing and more importantly inviting and casual. Perfect for casual brunches or outings during the day or spring time.

Phantosmia Bella

This is the first and only LPRN flanker that agrees with me.
I accidently spilt half a bottle on myself at the store and had to parade for the entire day smelling like an eau fresh to the extreme. Surprisingly, it wasn't bad at all (all other LPRN make me gag. Sorry, Guerlain, I love you to bits but this scent is plain horrific on me). People actually complimented me on the scent, and all in all, I ended up liking it.
I got a sample and tried it again today.
It's nice.
Perfumy, not too sweet, no sickly cherries (I usually love cherries!), yet it's a rather boring scent. My skin doesn't radiate any of the aforementioned pistachios (even though there's a slight "nutty" note in this scent), almonds (blossoms or fruit)or any other dominant note. On me, it's a cute, inoffensive fruity-floral with a nice citrus tang to it.
Not FB worthy for me, but still a rather lovely combination, a safe choice for everyday wear.

Kon-nos91

I'll never thought I will fall for Guerlain but yeah. It's a luxurious house with very good and well know perfumes.

The classic La petit robe noir EDP is a bit 'cheap' for my taste and a bit expensive for my wallet. The EDT edition is brighter and sharper, (maybe it's because of green apple) following a more soft character of the classic EDP, but Eau Fraiche edition is amazing.

I am a gourmandise lover in perfumes and I am so impressed because lately I start liking the 'Eau Fraiche' editions of well known perfumes. (I wish Miss Dior (new) will soon launch something similar to Miss Dior Cherie Eau Fraiche) Every respected house has an edition like this. Chanel, Armani etc.

The best for me, at least till now is "La petit robe noir-Eau Fraiche" EDT. It's as soft as it has to be, as green as it has to be, as sweet as it can be for a fresher edition and guys...Oh my God, the pistachio is so 'crunchy' and yummy. Pistachio ice-cream!!! Can't wait to test it on my skin and get the feeling but to be very honest, I am waiting like crazy the newest edition "Ma robe sous le vent" that has cotton candy and blue berries. It must be way simplier compared to other 'robes' but cotton candy from Guerlain sounds like an eye-hearted emoji. <3

medea_svenspoa

Uh! It smells so chemical! Like a bad bad fake pistacchio ice-cream :/

Madrona

I like LPRN Eau Fraiche but not as much as the default LPRN EdP. Citrusy almondy goodness with the LPRN DNA firmly embedded in there somewhere. There is no room in my collection for a full bottle, but it is pleasant for sure.

mschnabel666

LPRN EDP is amazing... so wrong that it's right... Syrupy cherry vanilla incense that works for me.
The Couture is nice. Fresher and greener, but the same vibe.

However the EDTs are a total disappointment and snooze-fest.

I waited for so long to get Fraiche because I couldn't find a "cheap" blind buy. I got the original EDT for about $35 from an ebay store/perfume outlet.

Fraiche is just like that EDT except more boring and lacking even more personality.... and I think the EDT fell flat as it is!

Fraiche is just a sharp soapy fresh scent for about 20 minutes and then nothing. If you can detect a scent after 1 hour, it's similar to the L'eau Couture Elie Saab- which smells like vanilla grass to me. Except L'eau Couture by Elie Saab lasts forever with very light easy breezy sillage. Not so with LPRN Fraiche.

I don't get any individual note. I was hoping to really smell the pistachio, almond, tonka, and jasmine... but it's just a quick poof of MEH.

I may sell the used-once EDT Fraiche... or I may keep it for my adorable LPRN collection. I have no idea. It is right now very cold April in Michigan, so I may hang onto it for a fresh summer scent, during the day when I can't think of anything else to wear... which is impossible because I have about 150 perfumes-- haha.

The moral of my story is, you never know until you try. Haha. And I tried and now I'm sad. ;)

Napsu

I've had tais on my want-list for ages. The notes seem so lovely. I've been testing this for several times and now I have to believe this just don't fit my skin. I'm so disappointed.
First I get a short lasting almondy smell which soon turns into dirty sponge or table wipe cloth. That terrible smell turns in time for urinic pee smell.

Oh why, oh why?

rziotti

It'verry similar miss dior. But miss dior stay more time in the air. I think that is very weak.2hours max . I prefer miss dior because this. But it's good fragance. But not buy again.

jedrzejowskia

It was love at first sniff and then the lover shortly after was rejected. With a big kick to it's butt. I'll tell you why:

There is just something with this fragrance that does not gel with my chemistry in the long run. It's the bitter with fresh and sweet or maybe it's, as per usual, the patchouli, Which can be a killer or a hero depending on which notes are around it for me.
After starting out heavy on the pistachio and citruses, an altogether lovely, gourmand combination, the pistachios disappear and leave the citruses and the flowers with patchouli, and also, Oh the horror, a sort of alcohol vomity accord... also what's very unsurprising on my skin, the Jasmine is amped up to it's max. Oh the dread. So right now I'm left with half a bottle of Jasmine/Citrus, morning after the night before- patchouli combo. Atchoo, bless me and yes please, pass me that head ache tablet.

nikoleta1

Pleasant, soft, a little sweet, close to skin. Nothing outstanding in terms of perfume composition, but very comforting and lovely soft and usable fragrance.

shushkin

Well, I surprised myself over this one. I usually stick to edps but I was sent a free sample and just fell in love with it. My basic gripe with edts is they dont have good longevity. I have had to revise that opinion. This is a gourmand floral delight but not heavy or sickly sweet. Ok, so Im no youngster but this fragrance brightens my mood every time. Its a nutty yet bright and shiny surprise. The citrus notes do their usual brief instant sunshine thing. The sunshine wains a touch and then the nut feast contines with nose tickly freesia, jasmine and neroli. The rose and tonka provide some sweetness.
Im no youngster but I wear this. Scratch that, anyone can wear this and enjoy some olfactory sunshine.

dzingunyte

home cleaning chemicals smell. maybe it can work better on summertime and hot weather.

hsheep

This is a pretty and powdery sort of fragrance, powdery in the sense only Guerlain can achieve. I think this is very similar to LPRB EDT as well, but a tad less soapy and less fruity. I really don't get much pistachio, but maybe that's the note that makes this composition a touch bitter - more so than any of the other flankers. I don't find it as sweet as the others.

I still get lots of almond and only a hint of sweetness. It's a tiny bit fresh, but the powderiness keeps it also a little heavier. It's also the most light wearing of the line. Inoffensive and office friendly, maybe a little boring. But still nice and mellow.

Megamind

It resembles a lot to petite robe noir EDT but with less projection and staying power. Petite robe noir EDT is more a grown scent because of the bigger quantity of patchouli appearing immediately on the front scene. Patchouli that I adore in EDT.
I have the both bottles. The vibe is the same but notes are slightly different. I can feel the same nutty cherry in Eau fraiche but in less proportion. Patchouli is on the background and less pronounced. The smell is build around fresh almond blossom, almond and light white jasmine and freesia. A little bit of pistachio echoing far somewhere. It's not a fruity fragrance but more floral. I like a lot this subtleness, softness and freshness. Definitely it's a fragrance for the sunny early chilly spring days when the tiny leaf buds bedizen the branches of trees. It's a poetic fragrance evoking a beautiful world without hatred and the world with peace, love, flowers and all that stuff. It's an innocent fragrance and that is exactly what I like in it.
I wear it with pleasure even if I'm over 30. I do not care that this fragrance aims younger generation. I take a pleasure to wear it and that's enough.
The staying power is about 6-7 hours on clothes and much less on the skin. But it does not meter for me. Any case I prefer to wear perfumes on clothes.
Lovely and innocent fragrance.

LisaMari

I don't like this at all ;( it has a faint sour pistachio and then a very bitter green almond... I didn't notice any sweetness at all and there's a weird almost menthol note :/

Nobrainer22tx

I was at thd mall trying some new scents, spritzed this one on one wrist and the regular La Petite Robe Noire on the other. Initial impression was that this one was more appealing to me. Fruity floral, not too strong, but nothing really special. To me the regular version went on stronger with a hint of something I wasn't crazy about. However, after about 30 minutes I could barely smell this one anymore while the regular one was still going strong. It faded to nothing, and the regular faded into something a little more pleasant than what I had initially smelled. I'm not a pro at notes and perfume scents so I can't tell you what it is I'm smelling. Perhaps I just didn't apply as much of this one as the other, not sure. But from the little time I did get to smell it, it wasn't enough to make me want to try it again.

Fragrance13

This perfume is a "miss" for me. The notes don't appeal to me.

PureIce

Not as awful as the rest of the Robe Noire gang, it's actually pleasant but harmless and uninteresting. It doesn't make me feel anything at all.

Betandi

This is my 'let's go to work with people' scent. Youthful, contemporary, and... Not remarkable. Nice and easy to wear but never will be my signature scent. On my skin it smells office and interview conform enough.

Extremely long lasting scent for an eau fraiche and on my skin it is just too strong to be true.

For me it is very fruity with a bit too much of tonka beans and lovely freesias.

Veronica85

samlovefragrance

How can such wonderful notes ( i mean pistachio for crying out loud!) and almond, citruses and summer florals smell bad? well they kind of do in La petite robe noire eau fraiche...

When i tested this yesterday, i realised how Guerlain perfumes are always either a hit-or-miss. A legendary house, iconic perfumes, but really you never know what you're gonna get.

This new flanker opens with a subtle pistachio note that made me smile :) yet soon, it perished. Instead of building around the green pistachio note, it gets lost in a fruity haze, with the hint of the cherry of the original. Almost celebrity scent quality.. I love Guerlain but no.

At some point i thought i was mistaken to what i had sprayed on, it can't be but yes, it is.. started smelling like those fruity fresh body mists, nondescript fruit-floral, with an added stuffy musk note. Needless to say i didn't like it.

scent: 5+/10
longevity: 5/10
sillage: 5/10

miriam.moscovici

This to lasted all day and the scent didn't work for me. I found it to be very "noisy" in the opening and gradually fading to a diaper smell (sorry). I can't get over how horrible the dry down smells on me.

I found the longevity to be oppressive. I still smell it the morning after.

Consequently I have a 100ml bottle that's been sprayed a handful of times for swap if anyone is interested.

hailes_xx

Very lovely. A combination of sweet florals and nutty earthiness, while still airy and light. Feminine, sophisticated, pretty. A love for me.

“The sickness of making flankers every five minutes is very upsetting, but if I don’t want to get kicked out for not doing my job, I have to do it.”

– Thierry Wasser

I have nothing more to add. Just feel really sorry for the man; to have the talent for formulating great scents and the honor to be the in-house perfumer for Guerlain for the love of all that is holy and yet to not be allowed to create anything innovative or even interesting. A tragedy.

6FeetOver

I finally got my nose on a sample of this, and now I wish I hadn't. This has to be one of *the* most artificial–nay, toxic-smelling–fragrances I've ever had the displeasure of sniffing.

Ceci n'est pas un Guerlain. *Shudder*

Scarbie

I had to buy this fragrance after testing it out in Sephora. The first thing that hit me was the pistachio which I loved! It makes it different from many of the perfumes I have. It is very nice for the summer time. And the sprayer is a beast! A little goes a long way for me. This fragrance could have been named something else because it does not resemble the other LPRN scents I have tried.

emmarion

Pistachio!! Candied and fresh. Its summery and clean but the nutty notes set it apart from other Eau fraiche scents I've tried. I'm not a huge fan of the original robe noire, but this I like. It's not a love at first smell, but it's a solid summer scent I'd be very happy to have in my collection.

Edit: longevity isn't great. I can only smell it if my nose is pressed to my wrist a couple of hours after application.

smelling_gr8

Generally not a huge fan of La Petite Robe Noire line but I do like this one a lot.
The opening smells like a powdery lemon sherbet, sweet and juicy lemon candy with fizzy middle. Then the pistachio note comes, almost smells similar to Bvlgari Jade with added lemon. Eventually it dries down with that cough syrup (cherry tea) note, just like the other LPRN scents.
Sadly the top notes do not last long, however, while the top notes do last, I love it. Due to its poor longevity I will easily use up my small bottle but not sure if I would consider purchasing this again. My bottle, which by the way is absolutely adorable, came to me in a swap.
Overall, this is a nice, easily wearable scent, but the longevity and projection are dire.

ok corral

The best!!!

lulu169

delicious fresh pistachio & almonds....love at first sniff!

mongibella

Wow, this is so chemical, plastic and detergent smelling! Instant dislike. All the petit robe series is such a huge disappointment, as well as that allegoria thing. The only new Guerlain which to my nose is very well done and which I love is Terracotta Le Parfum. I can't believe it's the same house that makes both Vol De Nuit and THIS. Heartbroken.

freakypirate

Opens fresh and green, but soon changes into something sweeter. I smell citrus notes like bergamot, orange, but also a hint of orange blossom. I smell white musk as well. Then rose appears, together with heavier woody notes. The musk gets quite strong. The drydown is a strong musk with hints of woody notes and lots and a citrus fruit sorbet on top, mixed with a few rose petals.

Longevity is weak to moderate (about 3 hours on my skin) and sillage is moderate while it lasted.

Quite a delicate mix of fruit and flowers, I like it better than the "regular" petite robe noire because of the citrus fruits instead of the red fruits. Even though this is probably equally sweet I like the oranges better. I don't get any pistachios, almonds or a very distinct jasmine in there. I think this is a fresh scent for spring or summer, uncomplicated and maybe even a bit girly. But you know how it works-- girls, they wanna have fun, and this scent will do that trick quite well.

Vanessa Dunlap

I am hoarding my sample of this. I like this one, I really, really, really do. I have tried the other La Petite Robe Noire versions and I do not like the way they "work" on my skin. This one is a delicate green, fresh, almond blossom with just a touch of nutty sweetness. Perfect for warm weather. I agree, the longevity is a problem and for the price asked, I wish it would project more and longer. I would have to refresh-spray every four hours. Then again, I have to remind myself that this is an eau fraiche and therefore it is supposed to be very light. Something about it, though, makes me feel that Guerlain could have done better with this one...I apologize for saying this because it sounds vague and I can't offer suggestions, but as pretty as it is, I feel it was rushed to get it onto the market. That is what is stopping me from buying it, presently. I like this idea and they were onto something with this, but with the notes, it could have been done better. For April Fool's Day, MonsieurGuerlain came up with a "prank" female version of L'Homme Ideal, which he called "La Femme Ideale" complete with a picture of the bottle and a description of notes. I can no longer find it, but he did a great job! I would like to have seen Guerlain compose and offer something like that, for this eau fraiche. I'm not complaining about the price (as I stupidly coughed up too much $$$ for Le Plus Beau Jour de Ma Vie, so what do I know?). I still can't make up my mind if I want to buy this or not. I'm afraid that if I do, something much better will come out that I wish I had waited for. Hmmm. Thanks for letting me ramble with my thoughts.

jan17

This Guerlain is very fresh and delicate, you can feel the little note of this very lightly pistachios, but not a different scent have two La Petite Robe Noire but in my skin stands out very patchouli, I get suffocated, the almonds and improve their flowers perfume giving a more acomchegante tone, less burned the EDT, the EDF is more natural and tasty, but are not charming as others, just got more for bottles that are cute, but the smell has not won my heart <3 :(

jenniewebb

I was really looking forward to this and finally got a chance to test it today. Unfortunately it was a disappointment, as it was sooooo soft with only about 15 minutes longevity on me. I did get the soft green opening, the leaves and the pistachio (an interesting note) but it was gone way too quickly. So sad, I won't be buying this one.

Sensoria

Love, love this one. Tested it and bought it as I like it for coming spring/summer.I agree with other reviewers it is different from the other LPRN. Not fond of the fruity opening in the original one in this line (too much cherry) but this one I love. Fresh, crispy and drydown is nice, powdery and very special. This jewel has enough character too not end up with a lot of common scents there are already on the market.

Nikkafragrance

Everything about this fragrance is green. The opening is a bit too soapy for my taste, but the drydown is citrusy and fresh. This particular flanker is very different compared to the other perfumes form the line. This is the only one I can wear.

Bloodlust

I can imagine being disappointed with LPRN Eau Fraiche (Or Petales? What are we calling this one now??) if you're expecting another famous-Guerlain-style powderbomb with monster sillage along the lines of the Shalimar line/Insolence line. This is something more on the same speed as the Aqua Allegorias. More "natural" smelling, softer, hugs closer to the skin, less powder, etc. It feels to me like another Sephora people-pleaser... which isn't a bad thing, it's good to appeal to every type of demographic.

This is one of those flankers that they should have just re-packaged & renamed into it's own line. It has absolutely nothing to do with the Petit Robe Noire selection!

The opening consists of a VERY crisp, clean, overly-fresh atmosphere, lots of sweet almond-blossom (If you can recall the note from My Insolence), and a blend of citrus that is marked in the note pyramid as lemon & mandarin - but it boils down to a nondescript citric-sweetness blend that is reminiscent of generic brand shower gel. There is a soapy base that all of the supporting notes sit on top of throughout the life of the scent, all of them fighting to take over the other. None of the notes in the pyramid that generate depth (rose, patchouli, tonka, musk) are detectable at all - the scent stays pretty transparent and "summertime appropriate". In the drydown there is more smoothness and uniformity, but nothing that reels me in.

Overall, this scent is enjoyable - it's pleasant (albeit a bit screechy on my skin personally), clean, and has decent longevity for an EDT. I was excited to see Almond blossom in a new scent out on the market - but for me there is not enough body here to warrant a bottle. It's "nice", but doesn't blow me out of the water.

Would not peg this blindfolded as a Guerlain scent!

labradorite

Smells like and almond tree garden in the springtime. I get lots and lots of green almond here, the blossom and branches of the tree. There's also a whole lot of rose and freesia in, and the shadow of pistachio. These dominate the fragrance from the opening to the drydown to me. There's a citrus burst in the beginning, then comes the certain fruitiness signed for LPRN which must certainly be cherry/raspberry which is not listed as a note... Then it becomes slightly powdery as the almond appears, but it never reaches the sweetness of the rest of the LPRN family.

It's certainly a fresh version of the LPRN's, and I say it fits into the family. I love almonds, but most almond perfumes are sickeningly sweet and/or powdery on me, thus I cannot wear them. Eau Fraiche is not like that, and I adore it without boundaries. But as much as I love it I know that this one isn't the most creative of all Guerlains out there.

Anthaval

Honestly I really wanted to my summertime fragrance for Chanel Chance (the green one) but when I saw this I tried it... It's so different from other summertime perfumes, but before I bought it I checked the comments here. I saw that many people are dissapointed (I can't understand them, but I respect others' opinion) and I red also that many people had problems with it's longetivity.

So today before buying it I tried it on my left wrist, and I tried Chance on my right one. Sometimes it's almost similar to Chance but then it changes and it seems like a sweet-fruity, cooling summertime sweet. My wrist doesn't retain well the scents but after 8 hours and 30 minutes I still feel it (and it's so cold and windy today here, so can't wait to test it in a hot day). Anyway, I feel it much-much better than Chance...

So if you belive that a good perfume is your own signature and you like fresh perfumes I'm sure that you will love it!

genny17

I am not impressed with that one at all,it smells of detergent to my nose in the top notes, must be the lemon vibe..then it is smoother, but I wouldnt buy a bottle, I do not like it one bit!!longevity is weak and it remains soapy /powdery throughout..not for me! Guerlain didnt do a great job on that one!

StellaDiverFlynn

On me, cherry and lemon are the most prominent note of this Eau Fraîche version of La Petite Robe Noire, and it stays throughout the whole development. Initially, I could also smell the nutty, powdery almond and white musk, with tiny whiffs of pistachio. However, they seem to subside during the drydown on my skin, while still remain quite perceivable on the strip.

The sillage is relatively soft and the longevity is around 9 hours. This Eau Fraîche version does smell less intense than the original LPRN, but still retains the powdery texture of the original. It feels pastel in colour, rather than sparkly as the candy-like EDT version. I doubt it would perform well in a really hot summer day, but I think it's very lovely and wearable for spring and autumn.

búzavirág

This is again something very exceptional, original and innovative - I would venture people don't understand and feel, what Mr. Wasser wants to show with his perfumes. I haven't found in a perfume till such sparkling beauty, reminds me on a champagne. Its transgression and swinging between the sourness-sharpness of the lemons and patchouli and the sweetness of almond-musk is really unique, and is only to adore. It surprises me with its balance again (quite as a trademark of the perfumer): the airy-graceful-chilly lemonade and the cosy-tender-warm almond note. It is inimitable and cunningly simple.

valerie.aardahl

Oh come on, dear Guerlain! You could do so much better than this, and you know it yourself. And you know, you dont have to make an Eau Fraiche out of everything, why dont you guys just make something completely new? Alright, lets accept the fate and wish a warm welcome to this new addition. I am sure that many will agree with me that idea is good but performance isnt. Personally I would prioritize citruses, berries (especially cherries) and flowers and rather cool down the scent. The almonds should have been introdused through a subtle hint and not IN YOUR FACE ALMONDS. But what do I know.. :P

Arlene-Beatrix

Super sweet almond scent! Nothing like a fresh scent! I truly can't understand why on earth they put it into a green bottle... and called 'fraiche'.
I can't smell any citrus, any flowers. All I can smell is SUGAR. Lots of it.
Oh Guerlain, where are you going with your scents???
Sorry, but I cannot find more suitable words to express my disappointment.

rARKatt

I can not understand what is "fraiche" about almonds.. Or pistachioes. I am not into gourmand notes at all. It is as with actual food. It CAN smell heavenly if you are hungry, but if you are full the same thing can make you nausious... These things are not something I would like to walk around with all day. Or at least not in this consentration.

These notes dominates this scent in my opinion, so I feel unable to wear it.

xrayer

I dislike the original LPRN, unfortunately I like this one even less. I don't get any pistachio or almond at all, I was expecting something along the lines of Elie Saab L'eau couture but it really is a fruity-floral boring concoction, not like the typical Guerlain's I know and love. Disappointing.
On the plus side it was incredibly long lasting - so long lasting in fact that I couldn't even scrub it off.....

ScarlettX

Great! Another flanker from La Petite Robe Noir line I absolutely love.
They must have the formula that pleases my nose! That's what I thought, when I tried this one.
I find it similar to the other fragrances from this line. So it's acutally nothing new. But it doesn't matter because it is just simply gorgeous.
Mostly I sense aromatic almond, some rose, some tonka bean, some pistachio and some citrus. It's almond, I like the most about this perfume.
Sweet, but not cloying. Soapy, but I don't mind.
I wouldn't say it's fresh, but compared to other fragrances from this line, this one is closest to fresh.

Mellyhelly

I like this 1000 flanker of LPRN. Maybe it took 1000 attempts to please me. I'm not a fan of original LPRN, let alone the disastrous EdT, but this one is ok.
There is a big change in evolution. the opening is almost zesty and refreshing, with only familiar notes in the background... then it all disappears and LPRN appears again in a shy diluted form.
It's still LPRN, with that same typical Guerlain's effect: it is that, but not totally that.
It could be a good springtime scent if you don't mind that sticky sweetness in the drydown.

fiouu

Mmmkay, here we go again, overall impression of this eau fraiche is different. Very different from any other eau fraiche out there. You'll see, whenever fraiche editions are put on the market they are either watered down versions of the Original scent or marketed towards a younger audience, juicy and shampoo smelling. This is not the case. While it's green it's not fresh compared to other eau fraiche fragrances, BUT here lays the twist to this composition, it's fresh compared to the other petite robe noires. Just not the Original edp, it's less fruity than the EDT, this is more floral and less cloying in extreme temperatures, yes fraiche smells like cherry, but not as overwhelming. Couture is more cold, and fizzy but not as sweet as this one, which is weird. You'll see, When you test any eau fraiche, the least you excpect is for it to be sweet, well, this is sweet. It's very strange (green, dry, sweet, bitter) yet goes along nicely, overall, with the LPRN line, yes you May not find it refreshing, but compared to the other dresses, it makes sense.
Sillage is regular, longevity for an edt and specially for an eau fraiche, it's astounding, piling up to eight hours of wear + showering. I could smell the faintest scent of it this Morning.

fiouu

This smells like the EDT and couture. Yay. The almonds are bitter, not creamy like, let's say, hypnotic poison, and there's cherry, I swear to god. The lemon is acrid, not quite refreshing, it's more like lemon peel. Patchouli, mandarine orange and bergamot are the strongest contenders here, I'm surprised at the freesia, since it's barely there. I have an issue with guerlain regarding their freesia note, it comes off too strong and metallic, but here? Nowhere to be seen. I'll update on longevity and sillage.
Ps: how come People compare this to chance eau fraiche? Chance is juicy fresh while this is fresh as a summer under the scorching sun of the sahara desert. It's rather green and dry

chanka

i got this today 7march 15,from my husband to our aniversary with insolence and it is very nice spring summer fragrance
citrusy, floral opening... dries down to little bit tipical guelain powdery sweet fruit candy but then it suprise s with shalimar style drown down!
i dont know if it is only me but i feel there shalimar initial

greydove

Zingy, earthy, and sweet. Yes, the original PRN is there, but since I never jumped on that bandwagon of the million PRNs until now, it smells pretty fresh to me. Of course fruitchouli has been done before but Guerlain does it right. I'm looking forward to wearing this when the weather warms up and its doing wonders to lift my mood during these east coast blizzards!

daithi

A Guerlain that smells like cheap fruity shampoo. A synthetic fruitchouly (fruit + patchouly) nightmare. Another disappointing release by Guerlain that confirms how the mighty have fallen...

alexmax

Ok this is almost the same scent as LPRN eau the toilette. To me it smells the same, unfortunatelly I cant see the difference... still sugary sweet...

ladygentiane

sampling this one today.. enjoying it so far. i would say more similar to the couture version with the patchouli/white musk fizzy dryness in there. i the get rose, orange blossom and freesia. bit harder to detect the pistachio unfortunately. but the fresh flowers with the ‘praline’ LPRN undertone work beautifully

Elokitty

Beautiful eau fraîche which wispers me la petite robe noire to my nose.
I don't know why but I don't get the pistache fragrance.
Really subtle but not boring and never see eau fraîche fragrance for me.
The green color is not common !

PerfumeKing14

Tried this in debenhams today & got a free sample of it. WOW! This an Eau fraiche that is a MUST HAVE
I don't get the comparison to Chane Chance eau fraiche at all other than they're both green in colour, this is much much more than I expected & miles better than I imagined it would be. I'm definetly getting the biggest bottle available when it's released.
It's fresh, on trend & the dress on the front of the bottle makes me think of tinker bell. it's wonderfull, exactly what an eau fraiche should smell like

xclairabellax

Sooo excited...my local Debenhams has this!!

Its UNMISTAKEABLY from the La Petite Robe Noire line up, its a very well done eau fraiche - not blowing me away, but extremely well done.

Nice citrusy opening which leads the way for fruity sorbet tones blended with the original scent. Light but long lasting :)

UPDATE - I just had to add that since getting the sample card I put it on the shelf next to my computer desk - Ive been out all afternoon /evening and now ive sat down (9pm) I keep getting lovely wafts of this from the card which is just over arms length away. Super :)

xclairabellax

I just LOVE eau Fraiche versions of perfumes.

Im a huge fan of citrus, rose, jasmine and freesia, so Im exceptionally excited to try this!

I think its a perfect addition to the La Petite Robe Noire line up! Exactly what the collection needs in my opinion.

Even LPRN EDT can be a little too syrupy in the height of summer, so LPRN Ma Robe Petals/Eau Fraiche should be just the ticket!

I love the way the bottles look displayed together in my collection cabinet - Beautiful. This will be a welcome addition :D

AND-MAT

What can I say about this new creation of Guerlain?

Despite a well known name and some tonka, this has nothing to do with other LPRN flankers. For me it's a completely new scent and a very good one too!

Green, Powdery and just a tiny bit sweet is what this creation smells like. Starts too citrussy... All you can smell at the start is that sour aroma of citruses of all kinds. However, it fades quickly and open the way to roses, freesia and jasmine. In the end, this powdery phase is balanced by a hefty dose of patchouli, tonka and yes pistachios giving it a nutty/sweet vibe. The drydown is wonderful and dare I say unique.

Performance wise, it lasts, like most Guerlains, a long time. Easily 6 to 10 hours. However, it has a soft projection in the end and tend to stay close to the skin despite a heavy projection earlier on. This edition is very light and bright. Perfect for everyday casual wear of the springtime.

A very good job like always. 8/10

And yes... I smelled it!

Nirsara

A couple of months ago Guerlain treated my sister (she runs a perfume shop) (I know, I have thé best sister in the world) to a sneak preview of this scent. She brought home a scented paper, raving about it. I can't remember a lot of it, except that it was a cold day and that that little piece of paper smelled like the month of May in Heaven.
I read in other reviews that it's a cheap selling trick from brands to launch new perfumes under the same umbrella of another perfume. It used to bother me too, untill my sister told me that the brands explain that they do that because registering a totally new name is very very expensive. Launching a variation of an registered name apparently is less expensive so that the brand can use more funds to create a better perfume. I don't know if that is something they tell to sush clients or that it's true. Anyway, since I heard that, it doesn't bother me anymore that brands use and re-use names.
I can't wait for Guerlain to create a whole wardrobe of scents, IMO they have struck gold with this green dress, I have room reserved in my collection <3.

peferrarine

Looks like it doesn't have anything to do with the La Petite Robe Noire line, and the name is just for selling purposes (what i think is a very cheap trick)

But hey, the notes are great, kinda like a fun spring night out. Kind of sure i'm gonna try it out...
