Armani Code Summer pour Femme Giorgio Armani for women
Perfume rating 4.06 out of 5 with 98 votes
Armani Code Summer pour Femme by Giorgio Armani is a Floral Woody Musk fragrance for women. Armani Code Summer pour Femme was launched in 2009. Top notes are Water Notes, Bitter Orange, Neroli and Pear; middle notes are African Orange Flower, Jasmine, Ginger and Cyclamen; base notes are Musk, Woodsy Notes and Vanilla.
Armani Code Summer pour Femme and Armani Code Summer pour Homme are a new fragrant pair by the house of Giorgio Armani, announcing summer and aromas of summer. Warmth of sun rays, relaxed atmosphere and a breath of fresh breezes of the Mediterranean are captured in new, elegant and gentle flacons of Summer editions. They can be expected on the market from April 2009.
Aquatic, marine notes of the new fragrance Armani Code Summer pour Femme start with juicy and luminous aromas of pear sorbet and bitter orange and they will take you over in the very beginning. This fruity-floral mixture is accompanied with green accords of neroli which introduce delicate aromas. A heart of the fragrance blooms with orange blossom (central ingredient of the original edition for women), enriched with aromas of cyclamen, ginger and Sambac jasmine. Base notes fondle the skin with woody-musky accords of precious blond wood along with vanilla and musk. This feminine edition, Code Summer pour Femme, is available as 75ml (2.2 oz) edt.

One of my favourites but unfortunately I haven't been able to get it in Europe for the past 5 years since its first release... and man I have tried! Really gutted that I can't get it any more :'(

I'm definitely glad wearing this fragrance this Summer Saturday night.

I love that Armani has created so many variations of this gorgeous, orange blossom dominant scent. If you are a lover of orange blossom, there IS a Code for you.
While I have yet to come across a variation that I don't care for, my Code of choice is this one.(which unfortunately was a limited addition)
In the summer 2009 addition, gone are the honey drizzled notes that create the rich, sensuous depth of the original, and in there place are the clean, fresh accords of water and ginger. The result is a transparent and aquatic, yet very beautiful and distinct orange blossom scent with a slightly woodsy/musky dry down.
In Armani Code summer 2009, you have light, clean, crisp and sophisticated verses the deep, rich sensuality of the original.

The first time I tried Armani Code Summer, I was truly captivated. For some reason I remember it being more floral and intense. However, the second time I tried it, it was entirely different, quite fruity and light.
The bitter orange note is very dominant in this fragrance. You're either going to love it or hate it.
The refreshing and Summery burst of fruits in the opening along with the watery notes, establishes in the first few seconds that this version of Armani Code is not dark and flowery like its predecessor. The scent is light, flirtatious and vibrant.
While I do like this fragrance, the ginger and cyclamen in the heart turns me off it slightly. Those two notes don't seem to mix well with the bitter orange and jasmine notes.
The drydown is very simplistic but pleasant. The vanilla is not at all sweet here. It's mostly musk, white woods and orange that I can detect. Just a smooth and basic end to a rather lively scent.
The lasting strength is exceptionally good. Lasted well into the next day on my skin.

This is much lighter version of original Code, watery-orange with green accords.
Suitable for office wear - does not bother even allergics. Staying power is really good.

A nice light fragrance to wear in the summer - wouldnt purchase myself, however, was nice to receive as a present

This is a delicious fragrance, summer or otherwise. Love the water notes mixed with orange and the spiciness of ginger.
Very original and fresh and playfull.
Staying power is very good and I could not stop sniffing my arm (received a few odd stares on the way). I can still sniff its remains after 10 hours!

A lighter version of the original armani code. the first notes are almost identical to the ones of code, but the drydown is more fresh and i can easily detect water notes. the staying power is quite good, but this one is definitely lighter than the original. if you like armani code but find it to strong to wear it in the summer time, this one is perfect.

The bottle is amazing ...
And it holds a beautiful perfume.
It's lighter than the original, but still strong, not fresh or aquatic, not at all.
I couldn't smell the fruits or ginger, just orange flower, jasmine and neroli, perfectly blended together.
I think it's still an evening fragrance!
On me it lasts very long, and the sillage is really serious :)
But I'm not buying it, I prefer the original because it's more complex and I can use for the same occasions.
