@Tony Shades,
What are any of the such negative scored votes doin in the remind me of section, much less in the beginning where your quickly trying to see what perfumre most people on average agree is similar? Once it becomes negative, it shouldn't even be shown! I mean, the website should keep track of it in case it does aquire more positive comparisons, but be dont need to scroll through all those before they donbecome positive. In fact, sometimes the negatives take up so much space that there isnt even any room for me to add a perfume that truly is similar. This is a new bug. A few years ago, once the comparison went into the negative, it was removed. Plz change it back!

Thefragrancefox

One of my signature scents. The first time I smelled this perfume was at a spa when another woman was using it. The smell filled the room and I fell immediately in love with the smell. It is the perfect classy and feminine perfume with a great blend of fruity, floral and "musc". I really get the cherry, patchouli, rasberry and jasmine notes from it. The perfume lasts long and is perfect for all seasons! This perfume is, as it seems, discontinued in my country Sweden and I only have one bottle left. I really hope they will bring it back.

anna32sverige

Bright opening, drydown is very similar to Good Girl Legere.

BadMongoose

Dumbest name ever.
For example, if someone (A coworker?) asks what are you wearing, you have no choice but to confess your feelings and say “in love with you”….
So awkward :D

jadepo21

Straight out of the bottle it’s a bit sour and slightly masculine. After a few minutes it settles into a fairly innocuous fruitchouli. It’s not that I don’t like it; I just think there are scents on the market doing this more successfully. It’s a pretty, sweet gourmand but it’s not ground breaking in any way. Nothing to be offended by for sure.

Lovelove0304

Sweet cherry. Perfect scent for autumn and winter. Also feel like it projects quite well and longevity more than 8hrs.

vanillabinch99

This perfume is wonderful! Starts off very fruity and fresh (kinda reminiscent of the newer miss dior formula) but ends up acquiring warmer, sweeter undertones as it dries down, like amarena cherry syrup. The scent of cherries is ever present and on my skin in particular this perfume lasts very long. Like, if I wear it to the club I'll still be smelling like it by the end of the night (sometimes even after a shower, if i don't wash my hair!).

D@ne

Not what I was expecting based on "Because It's You". This is closer to a Lolita Lempicka flanker. It even has that touch of wormwood/licorice. That, mixed with cherry and patchouli....the perfumer must be a fan of LL. And who isn't! Buy that instead.

mevans

I like the sweet syrupy fruit notes and I get more rose in it than patchouli but I can see how if you don't like patchouli this may be a no-go for you. Love that cherry note. Performance is good and the scent is really nice. I would buy it again when I finish my bottle.

WinterSneeuw

Finished my 50ml today after buying it for myself around Valentine Day 2018. This scent was my first proper cherry, wormwood and raspberry scent and when I first spray it those 3 are really noticeable along the black currant. A bit sour. It then settles into a beautiful softer rose/jasmine scent. It is one of my most complimented fragrances ever, people always tell me I smell really chique when wearing it. The scent projects very well, so spray lightly and longevity is about 6ish hours. Overall, I really love the scent and I find it works best for all weathers besides the heat of the Summer. It gets a bit cloying then. I am sad I finished my bottle, but finishing a bottle brings me so much more joy then buying another one. Plus my collection is way too big so I am happy to finish up something again.

Tony Shades

What the heck is La Vie Est Belle doing in the "reminds me of" section of this pink floral fruity Rose bomb? Don't tell me it's because of the Black Currant and Patchouli in the notes breakdown. Jeez...

VioletDr

It does not smell bad to me really, but it makes me nauseous after a while. I think that I’d like it if someone just walked by me with this. To me it’s quite strong. In fact, too strong for my liking on myself. I get red fruits, patchouli and something soapy which I guess is the combo of rose and jasmine. So in short this smells quite clean to me. If you are sensitive to patchouli or strong scents there are better options with red berries/fruits and rose or jasmine out there.

Scentflower

This perfume is GORGEOUS!! It's a beautiful mix of cherry and sandlewood. As the dry down happens the cherry gets a touch sour. This is perfect paired with the wood notes. I love this perfume and I feel sweet and sexy in it. New fav!

IMadeleine

I got it because one of my coworkers wore it and I fell in love immediately. It leaves a long trail behind, it is elegant and misterious. It is something between LVEB and Mademoiselle, fruitchouli remarkable.

PuppyFever

This is the definition of a cherry fruitchouli. It's both super sweet and quite sour but definitely not fresh. If you're into loud red berries and patchouli in the winter, then this might be for you.

Kuty22

The sour cherry 🍒 in this perfume is amazing ❤️
I absolutely adore it, cold-weather(dry, preferably) type of scent, at least in my opinion. I wouldn't wear it on a hot climate
I know they're different but the cherry note reminds me of JPG Scandal-By-Night, this one albeit, a dense perfume, still lighter in comparison

Hiraethh

I was given this as a present and as I am unable to buy perfumes very often I wear it daily. My mother always says it smells amazing, but I am not a fan of sweet, spicy, gourmand smells so it's not great in my opinion. It is very long-lasting and has a strong sillage, and for that reason, I like to wear it. Reminds me of an established woman in her 30s that likes sophisticated things.

PaperInABook

I always have faith in Armani perfumes, so I blind bought this15ml travel size online without reading the reviews. Turns out it to be not I am expecting.

This is a mature, sweet, fruity and slight sour perfume. Not too cloying. Good projection and moderate performance on my skin and yes it does share the same vibe as Lancome LVEB.

As I am living in a tropical country, would not have the chance to wear it that often. I will carry this 15ml travel with me when visiting other countries during autumn or winter.

Will I repurchase this? I don't think so.
I gave this perfume a 'OK' rating. To me this smell like another fruity sweet perfumes out there, nothing special. When comes to sweet+fruity+sour perfume, I prefer Nina Ricci Nina L'Elixir.

Mariyamokshina

I love the original because it smells like mango, but this one I was super excited about. tried it at an airport duty free on a paper and I was obsessed because it smelled like lycheee and raspberries, but did not try it on my skin . I ended up getting a tester bottle on ebay and when I sprayed it on my skin I thought something was wrong like it went bad. mind you this perfume only came out in 2019 so its not like it could have expired by now? and not like its so popular that fakes get made of it. its very heavy and smells like an old lady's closet that got a little moisture trapped inside and hasn't been opened for years and you can still smell a residue of some perfume inside. musty, strong and heavy , not in a good way.

shams97

i wanted to like this put it gave my headache and nausea too sweet and strong for me

danidgq

Sweet patchouli with some berries

Pinspatternsandpolish

This is one of my favourite Perfumes. I keep coming back to it whether it's hot, cold, rainy. It has a beautiful tarte fruits of the forest vibe, with a lot of cherry in the top. As the scent progresses through the day the tartness fades leaving behind some sweetness with the patchouli base. The patchouli gives this fragrance a woody feel in the background.

This is my all occasions, all weather perfume that makes me feel energetic, youthful, playful. It's not a shy scent and is quite sweet.

The lasting power in my skin is about 5 hours, longer on clothes. I love this perfume. It's quite different to its sister scent Because It's You which is raspberry with vanilla in the base. This one is more juicy and vibrant.

If you like berries, cherries and patchouli, I highly recommend this!

duaa abed

can you people use your imagination plzzz ..
boring even mon Paris has character more than this , and that is terrible 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

Ninalovesclassy

Pleasant and likeable, nothing special, extremely poor longevity on me. Not worth the money, I got it as a gift and I gave it to my mom. She loves it and everyone loves it on her.

Kuty22

OMG - another blind buy 🙈
I was so scared because this perfume has a lot of 'bad' reviews, I blind bought this because I couldn't find it in stores and based on the notes it seemed like a perfect fit.
I just received my order and boy oh boy, I absolutely love it 😍 😍 😍
For now I can say it is my favorite 🍒 note
It does give me a La Vie est Belle type of vibe but I prefer this one.
Let's see how it performs, but so far no regrets 😊 I love a good 'fruitchouli'

angeldoll

Boozy sweet cherries with a hint of patchouli.
For my nose this is the exact same scent like Jesus Del Pozo “In Black”. And I can’t stand that perfume. Unfortunately. :/ It’s cough-syrupy cherry, with patchouli and some licorice as well. And it’s so long lasting!
Smell first like a liquor… but I like it after 2-3 hours. Then it’s softer version, powdery, fruity with a hint of patchouli.

Still for the sale-

Sea love

This is virtually a copy of Gloria Vanderbilt's Minuit a New York. Exactly the same, even though the notes seem different.

Hannehoney

This was on sale for Valentines Day, so I had to buy it...I absolutely love it! This is what I wanted Mon Paris to be like, but that one had too much patchouli for me. This also have it, but its just a hint of it :) Its so soft and sweet on my skin, a perfect blend of raspberry, cherry and vanilla. I know vanilla is not listed as a note, but on me it smells like that :) I know its being discontinued so I ran to the store and got a backup bottle :)

kkaattjjeess

This took me way back in time as it reminds me of Naomi Campbell's Cat Deluxe perfume that I was buying and rebuying throughout high school.

A lot of berries, sweetness, patchouli, very slight cough syrupiness (that I don't personally mind). Pleasant and decent, but I'm needing some more "✨pizzazz✨" these days.

Chrysi 🌸

I really wanted to like this fragrance and use it in the winter. But I don't... The opening is cool because there is cherry and raspberry that make it super sweet, not that cloying, but a little syrupy. Then comes the patchouli which is super strong. I can't stand this note, so if you also don't like it then don't even bother trying the perfume. The patchouli lasts on the skin for a very long time. In the end you mostly smell this and you can detect the sweetness coming from the fruits.

emmascents

A sweeter version of the original, with the same jammy rose note throughout. On me, the raspberry dominates and I get very little cherry (disappointing!). Overall, a nice scent but wouldn’t rate it over the original.

alexhallnuñez

Genuinely awful, think cough syrup as a perfume. The sweetness gave me a headache, and this scent has no depth at all (sooooo boring). Save your money for any other deserving scent.

iloveperfumesuwu

This scent is very feminine and sweet. It is like romantic love in a bottle. Ideal for dates with your significant other.

Izzy78

Firstly, it has come to my attention that some noses would describe this as leaning masculine. It is not that it hasn't a spicer, drier note. It has. To me I do not classify it as masculine at all. I believe the womwood with patchouli and sour cherry to have created that depth, but that is nothing more than a case of Marmite- one either loves it or hates it, and not gendered. To me it's an interesting creation because it sets it worlds apart from all the boring sweet fruity perfumes like Le Petite Robe or Mon Paris, and countless others which, when I see, ask myself " Really? That must be a joke". That said, it is super sweet, but done with a lot of complexity.
True, it smells a bit medicinal, but to me it just says "retro". It can perform well in winter being so cozy and boozy ( it does smell like Coca-Cola with rum). It can, amazingly and unexpectedly, perform well in the heat of the summer due to raspberry note to the point of me having been able to get a breezy feeling of "by the beach" eating a fruity popsicle. Gasp! Much later in the dry-down I can smell rich rooibos tea with drying tobacco leaves. I know this scent well as my father makes his own cigarettes out of fresh tobacco leaves which he dries and then infuses with natural juices of fruits and plants to his liking.
It is unique in the same line as Versace's Crystal Noir, and can form an update on that scent if required so. Would apply with a very light hand, the projection is massive. Magical potion, cannot stop smelling my wrists. I am quite glad from the reviews it has a rather low potential for making it a favourite or a signature, but totally see it as a classic in the way Classique is. It has that edge that one either understands or is too much for some delicate noses. Which is fine, as the perfume is really a powerhouse and can definitely cause some people a headache. That said, I am a quite chronic sufferer of acute sinuses infections and this perfume does not trigger an onset. I have bought the 150ml bottle which is a beautiful square and tells me it is in love with me every time I look at it, and I enjoy that ;-) Now that I think of it, the perfume represents the intensity and intoxication of being in love, combined with mystery and playful freshness. It is like saying I am in love with all which you are, good and bad, sour and sweet, deep and surface level, and so certain of it. It will last.

bebban

I absolutely love this perfume. It makes me smile every time I smell it :) It is fun and flirty, sweet and fruity. The scent of cherry is lovely. Unfortunately, it do not last too long. It would (maybe) be a safe blind buy if you love cherry and sweet scents.

Edemay

This perfume is absolutely stunning, its such a "look at me!" fragrance.
It reminds me of so many others but I definitely like this scent most!

What it reminds me of: Miss Dior edp original, Rouge Trafalgar, Gucci rush, La nuit tresor

Between the raspberry and cherry its hard to say which dominates, id say overall its a fruity sour smell which is accompanied by a big dose of patchouli.
I get hints of bitterness and the florals aren't prominent but definitely balance this out.

I dont see a teen wearing this, I imagine it more so on a 20-30 yr old that is all about her looks, money and social life.

Sophiaalexa

Sadly I do not enjoy this fragrance.
First sniff - Cherry. So yummy. Sweet and fruity.
After 30 minutes, it becomes and remains a musky woody oriental smell.
I personally think it smells too mature for me (mid twenties) and therefore I dont enjoy it.
I also feel a few sprays is essential to smell it. I dont think it's very strong.
There is a slight masculine touch to it, so I do not think it is very girly or the most feminine.
However, I always would say, try a sample for yourself on your own skin.

nordic.girl

This perfume performs unexpectedly well! 👍 I'm truly positively impressed.
It lasts all day long, and the smell lingers on clothes for days! 😮

I see many people consider this fragrance to be unspectacular, and I won't object to that, but it's pleasant, it performs absolutely well and it's a safe choice if you want to smell put together and subtly sexy (my boyfriend complimented me on how good I smelled, which is a nice bonus). The perfume does have a little bit of a masculine edge, but it's not that prominent (I don't really like masculine-leaning fragrances, and I do like this one). It's also a safe choice for the office, as long as it's sprayed lightly, no more than 2 sprays, because it is very strong (it's not nuclear, but still, it projects, so be careful). It's almost an all-season, all-times-of-day type of perfume, I would possibly just refrain from wearing it during the summer or when it's very hot.

It's not a safe blind-buy, though. It's fruity and you can smell cherry (not too prominent. I don't really like cherry in perfumes, but it doesn't bother me in this one). I can also distinctly smell the patchouli, so if the latter is not your thing, it's definitely best to pass. Additionally, it's quite powdery to me. It might just be my nose, but it's not excessively juicy.

All in all, it's a solid like! 😊

essiesfrags

Leans masculine and has a syrup cherry note. Very very sweet but leans very weird in some way. Smells okay but not for me.
Lasts veryyyyyy long unlike many giorigio armani frags

LuckyMommy

No, I don’t like this at all.
Got a tester of this perfume when I bought another one.
There is something in there that smells really bad to my nose unfortunately.

khaleesiFragrance

I don’t like the opening at all, the dry down is alright. This remind me of La vie est belle but you get more fruitiness. La vie est Belle has more of that sweet vanilla. I prefer LVEB over this one.

Mea.G.Newcastle

I got this as a sample, was totally surprised and excited about, I smelled it when it was released but couldn’t remember it anymore...regarding the hype and looking at the notes, sour cherry, black currant, one of my favorites, I thought I will love it...but no, not for me!
I smelled nothing from the fruits but something heavy, sweet vanilla like and found it very masculine...
Good part is that it resisted all day long, with a pretty strong sillage.

lyka

cerise présente mais alourdie par patchouli, portable en été, printemps automne; bonne tenue, sillage moyen (le porte sur mes vêtements).

Flynt

This is the ONLY perfume I’ve ever been complimented on by strangers. It’s not in my top 20 even though it is very good with a lovely cherry note. I was chased up the street today and asked what I was wearing. I’ve been sniffed out at the supermarket and asked, had about 10 people ask so far and I never, ever get asked or complimented. Very bizarre because I’m not that fussed about it!

stella.moustaka

I got a sample of this with a sephora order and omg it is so nice and feminine. It reminds me of a mix of la vie est belle and black opium. This perfume smells really well on me, it also lasted on my clothes for a long time. I will purchase a full size soon.

perfumeaddict97

This perfume is nice when you want a sweet (but not overly sweet), expensive smelling and classy scent. It's great for every day. I smell a nice fruity scent with some nice icy fresh note; I just can't pinpoint exactly what it is. So it's basically a nice balance of fruity sweet with fresh.I also find that this has a similar base note to Miss Dior absolutely blooming, but this is more rounded and soft, whereas the former is more sharp, screechy and strong on the patchouli.

chickenmiryani

The opening of this is really strong, you get hit with all the fruitiness in the perfume. But I think that's to be expected of a fruity fragrance. It's a nice perfume and it dries down as sweet and fruity but in a much more sophisticated way than it is initially. I got it as a free sample while purchasing another perfume, but I don't think I will be buying a full size of this. It just doesn't have a wow-factor for me.

giri-boni

Just cannot believe perfumery became this.
Smells like.... juice.

bdragonfly12345

I am really sad, because I am 95% anosmic to this scent on my skin! Boo!

I tested it today from a bottle, and was complimented on it, but I cannot pick up anything other than "sweet" (in a "La Vie Est Belle" kind of way...you know how it kind of gets that "warm sugar water" note deep in your nasal cavity/headache centres?)

If I could describe anything about the smell (I can smell it a little more on cloth), I would say it's a sweet generic and "red berries" scent. I tried this concurrently with "Si Fiori", and that smelled lovely and projected nicely, so I don't think it's my nose. I have a similar issue with "La Petite Robe Noire Intense" and "Viva Voce", so maybe it's an aromachemical common to them?

It's really a shame, because I don't get perfume compliments NEARLY often enough (lol), but I enjoy wearing scents that I am able to enjoy too. So, I would caution against blind-buying this, in case you discover that you can't smell it, either!

Mamaterer

smell like expired cough syrup on paper.but when i sprayed on my cloth i get similar vibe to lancome la nuit tresor. the patchouli earthiness is quite prominent in here which i like.however the sillage and longetivity is not impressive. will keep ot for the bottle and not buying again later.

imoore

One should buy fragrance for the dry down phase, not for the opening. The dry down is to my nose here is identical to Chloe nomade absolu (sure the davana is there...) and Chloe does it much better in order to enjoy it longer.

msajoy

yum yum and yum. perhaps not the most unique fragrance at this point but it delich. id follow the scent trail of a woman if she is wearing this just to compliment her on her perfume.excellent performer
9/10

Perfairy999

I just got this today along with B.O floral shock and G.A Satin. I thought by checking the notes that this would be a Fruity floral. To me, the initial spray is a fizzy sweet ice tea. But it turned to be veeeery gourmand on my skin. I Love Gourmands so I don't mind, but the notes are a bit misleading.

Timaka

Got this as a gift and I’m still learning to like it. It is so insanely sweet and rich in berries, neither of which is usually my thing. It is alright on skin, however the magic happens in the air! The sillage of this smells absolutely intoxicating. Like a cloud of vanilla berries, similar to Lancôme La Nuit A la Folie.

I think In Love With You is the best for cold weather, spraying it in the air and then walking through the fragrance cloud. Great longevity and strong sillage. If you like Trésor La Nuit, La Vie Est Belle or other berry-fruit-patchouli bombs this will be right up your alley.

Metolord

One of rare fragrances for ladies that blows my mind ... oh my goooooodness .... mouthwatering cozy and sexy . Starts with a Cough syrupy vibe for 3/6 second . Then turns to gourmand and floral territory... rose is catchable and cacao ... like powder cacao ... I like rose here because it’s not jamy and overwhelming, it is pink rose which I prefer it over Turkish roses .... after that, one level below we have jasmine which is undertone of rose . I can pick cherry and About raspberry I cannot pick it exactly...Sweetness is candy flossy type not sticky
About performance I can say lasts solid 8 hrs on my skin ( lasts up to 10 hours) with a very beastly projection for first hour, second hour is average and going to be not projecting at the end of second hour ,,, please smell like this 🔥 10 out 10 for me

Jasmindee

I wasn't sure about this perfume at first, I thought it was simple and clean, but wasn't overly enamoured. I decided to keep testing it, and now I'm in love with this dreamy scent.

This perfume is refreshing, sweet, feminine, sexy... I could go on. It really is a crowd-pleaser.

The first time I wore this on a date night, my boyfriend stopped dead in his tracks and told me how gorgeous I smelt. I even wore it today after the gym and my boyfriend told me I smelt incredible. Every time I wear this perfume I get many compliments. My friend snatched my bottle from my hand to shower herself in it because she loved it so much.

I smell fizzy cherry sweets, sugared rose petals and delicious raspberry. There is something so addictive about In Love With You, it's just so pretty and girly. I feel very happy and full of life and love when I wear this.

A new signature to add to my collection.

ranchorita

In Love With You is well named, because it's a pretty fragrance that is easy to love. The big berry opening was luscious and welcoming, followed by a nice second act of the rose and the jasmine, that persisted for the entire day and into the evening. The patchouli was never bombastic, but stayed a bit in the background and did the supporting character role, for a change. At the end of this 14 hour day, I still smell a creamy blend of beautiful florals. I won't name names, but most fragrances I'd group with this one have a kick of aldehydes that choke the freshness out of the florals, but here the beauty shines through without the other elements in a field uncluttered by aldehydes. This one is a lady, but she's not prim and not a prude, just pretty pretty pretty.

FrkFors

I had no plans to try this, but I got a sample yesterday and I sprayed it on before bed.
I laid there thinking it smelled quite nice, I did really enjoy it. I smelled my wrists as I woke up and there was still noticeable traces of it.
I'm using it this morning as well, and I feel like it's a very good easy grab kind of everyday perfume. It reminds me a bit of a Dior perfume, absolutely blooming EdP? But I prefer this one over Dior.
I get a slightly powdery, sweet red berry scent with a good patchouli base. The cherry note isn't that noticeable. There are some florals here, mostly a shy rose and a hint of Jasmine. The wormwood I'm not too familiar with, but maybe that's why I like the patchouli even more in this than what I usually do. I also thought there was a bit of vanilla in the pyramid somewhere. It's very comfortable and easy to wear. I think the sillage is on the softer side and the longevity is good, so again, perfect for everyday wear or any occasion really! I'm tempted to get it..

Jmalone84

Soft vanilla berries. Opens quite strong and fruitchouli-ish. A little on the sweet generic side. In the same vein as Armani Si. Notes are a bit misleading as it’s quite gourmandise to my nose. Wouldn’t invest in a full bottle myself as this isn’t my style.

Nancy83

A yummy cherry soda rose scent that I fell in love with.

The projection starts heavy and after an hour it's still strong, but I feel the blending is better and smoother, some harshness of the opening are gone, for me it smells like cherry soda and roses, it's delicious, I think the scent gets better with time. I'm not a patchouli fan, but my love for cherry takes over. The sillage is more moderate after 2-3 hours, the scent greener, then around 6-8 hours it's softer. I can still smell it faintly for the rest of the day and smell it on my skin the day after.

I think I will reach for it often in the colder days. If you are a cherry lover, I recommend it, but test it first.

babyrose1985

This is really nice, at first it kinda smelt like a bunch of others that I've smelt recently but then changes when it dries down.I make out the cherry a tad and its actually the only cherry perfume that I've liked so far other than Misguided babe power, modern muse le rouge gloss smelt a little too dated for me, Prada candy gloss was just hideous, the cherry in that smelt like cherry cough sweets...This has a pleasant realistic cherry note and the scent smells really lovely when it's completely developed which takes a few minutes.

At first this resembled Scandal only ALOT softer and rounder and more easily wearable and classy but on the dry down it starts becoming more unique than other patchouli based perfumes or any of the other gourmands.

Overall this is really quite pleasant, it isn't sickly like some are and the cherry is very well done, it also reminds me a little of la nuit tresor on the dry down, like a stripped down la nuit with a tinge of cherry.

Very nice, I'm not sure it's a love yet but it's a nice fume x

J350

I like it. If you cant afford Pennhaligons Empressa or Chanel Coco Mademoiselle, this one is for you.

LilyOfTheValley1988

I love the scent. Fruity-sensual. A bit sweet, but not too much (not disturbing; I don't like very sweet scents).
I wear it during autumn-winter-spring time. Suitable for day and night.
For the summer time I prefer "Because it's you" by G. Armani because it is more fresh.
I am happy with this new acquisition.

AnitaHendricks

Beautiful! This perfume is sweet, warm and still fresh because it's slightly sour. You can smell every red fruit in it. It's delightful during the colder months! I can picture it on a grown, kind hearted woman.

bagpusshkn

Brought this yesterday as I was recommended it by the shop assistant for it's long lasting power.
Well let me tell you the performance on this is DIRE!! I wish i would of gone for La Nuit Tresor, I sprayed the La Nuit hours ago as a test and I can still smell it!

May sell this one on and replace with lancome
The opening is gorgeous but it dies down very fast.
Not worth the money

I have a full 50ml bottle I'd be happy to trade for something else if anyone would like to take this off my hands?

If you want my advice, always and I mean it, always buy a small vial of the perfume you wanna buy even if you're 100% sure it bellongs to your collection. Not only you will save some money, but also you will be able to test it in many different occasions anytime you want!

I wrote again a review about it, my idea was and is that 'In love with you' is a classic but nice fruitchouli. When first saw it I decided to try due to it's name. I remember when first tested 'Because it's you' my 'blah' reaction but now I really have to go back and re-test just to be sure. 'In love with you' got my attention quickly, I kept the testing paper at home and I could smell it in the room for a long time. I decided to try it on me. I did twice, both times got noticed and complimented but then I realised that L'Oreal bought Armani's perfumerie 2018?

That makes sense! For a moment I was so happy that I found a strong but rare to find in the air perfume! Now, it reminds me as hell La vie est belle's quality and strong sweetness of La nuit tresor. Both masterpieces, both best sellers. I could for fun classify 'In love with you' as the gourmandise/fruity/girly version of La vie est belle if 'En Rose' EDT wasn't released recently. Same idea, LVEB with red fruits as a twist. The thing got better when I saw the advertising of the newest editions (In love with you + Stronger with you-Intensly). Yes, I am a victim because perfumes to me are like feelings. I buy what inspires me or puts me in the scene of the ad. Most of them thank God are accurate but this time I am really lucky I didn't end up buying a full bottle and having a perfume to feel a bit shy to wear.

Yes, the performance is really nice, yes it's sillage is fantastic for 2019 but after using my tester vial I feel like I use a version of as I mentioned above LVEB, or let's better say Si from the house. I don't see creativity but I see a perfect try. Keep up the good work and maybe the third bottle would be fantastic. It's too girly now for my taste and if you read till here, gift it to anyone 18+ and they will never forget you. Very safe and crowd pleasing without being boring or too complex. That wormwood in middle notes is the key! It opens like a drunk girl (wormwood = absinthe in case you don't know), bathed in a VS raspberry body spray. Sorry, no cherry here and you have it as number one note, strange. Alcohol runs in her veins and warms up her body till sweet rose appears and the forest fruits combo is hugged by minty-earthy patchouli. Sometimes it gives the effect of a strawberry/milky caramel. To die for it's the drydown it leaves on clothes. I'll give it one more try during winter and colder temperatures...let's see..

Oh my god this is beautiful. I think this is a new favorite for me. Gorgeous! I'm sure I can smell some faint vanilla in there, or something almost like praline.

As it dries down the fruitiness becomes a little more faint and wormwood and patch give it a masculine edge, but because of the Berries almost blending together it still smells so soft and pretty. The cherry is so lovely! Very happy with this fragrance.

raiza1990

This is very pleasant! The opening is a bit too much patchouli to my tastes, but 5 minutes later it turns into a feminine and joyful perfume that makes you wish for cold weather! It is fruity, sweet, a bit powdery and a bit sparkling. I specially like the fact that the cherry note doesn't turn sour at all on my skin!
I like it more than "Because it's You". Truth be said, it is not really unique, but it is so nice!
I recommend it to young modern women who like to have fun. It is best to wear it on cold evenings.
It projects at an arms lenght. Longevity is good.

This scent definitely doesn't evoke the experience of fresh and young love, as the description says. Woody notes is what I smell the most. I'm not very familiar with wormwood, but it's definitely more present in this scent than my beloved patchouli (left alone raspberry or blackcurrant - my all time favourite notes that I can barely distinguish here). However all together it creates a scent that is - although not very complex - doesn't lack character. Definitely on a heavier/deeper side of the spectrum.
P.S. Must admit that later on it develops into something way smoother and sweeter, and I guess I like it better that way.

Shanxzz

For me this is a lighter version of scandal by jean gaultier.. love this scent!

dahrling

Wow, this is beautiful! It's an addictive, enveloping fragrance that is perfect for fall/winter days and nights - it's very versatile, it's light enough to be used during the day but it also has enough depth to double as a perfect date night perfume. It's not a dark or sexy scent, though - it's very fruity and sweet and smells more like puppy love than passionate love.
But there's something about it that is almost narcotic - it just brings you closer and keeps you coming back. It's very feminine in the same style as Miss Dior or Mon Paris, for example. This is mostly red fruits and blackcurrant drying down to an amazing rosy-powdery vanillic patchouli, no wormwood on me. Although I prefer it in the fall/winter for its depth, in warm weather it smells just like fruit punch or Juicy Fruit gum, and I love it it too then.

Edemay

Starts off very loud and sweet, but the sweetness dies down quickly.
Patchouli starts taking over the more it dries down.
The cherry in this is more on the sour, boozy side rather than the sweet.
I reminded me of the perfume Babe Power, which you can buy for cheap at the chemist.

Just tested it at the shop so here's a fresh review :
on the paper, it smells great. It's fruity, and I think what really draws me in is the cherry, because I love when this fruity note is nicely used in a perfume. It lifts a smile on your face (at least on mine it did), and I had to re-smell it times and times again because I really liked the scent.

But then, I figured "might as well test it on the skin"...and it wasn't that great anymore : a non-descript fruity mix, EXTREMELY SWEET. it smells saturated with sweetness! I said fruity, but at this point you don't even detect the fruits on the skin, where did the cherry go?

It's a pass for me.

I found „Because it‘s you“, the first perfume in this line, rather boring, and I found the whole marketing bland and annoying at the same time. So, obviously I didn‘t have very high expectations for the second scent, but when I saw that Armani sent out free samples of it, I ordered one anyways. At least the name and the ad aren‘t quite as bad as the first time, so why not.

Surprisingly, I find the perfume quite likeable. In Love With You is a classic fruitchouli and surely not the most original scent in the world, but it‘s well done. The opening smells just like a delicious jam made of raspberries, cherries and rose petals on a light pastry, accompanied by patchouli and some light flowers in the background. The drydown is more patch-focussed, but warm and yummy. It‘s very sweet and girly in a good way.
Performance is average, it‘s neither overwhelmingly strong, nor barely there.
I think this is a nice scent and it would make a good gift for someone who likes sweets and patchouli, but it‘s not a true must-have for me.

luna morena

Tried it today and I'm in love! It is such a deliciois, juicy, sweet yet fresh perfume I was looking for!

Kon-nos91

Quite ordinary fruit-chouli with a really interesting, almost amazing opening. It indrigued me, but it passes really fast to it's middle notes and in general it's just a well made Armani creation. It does remind a lot 'Because it's you', but it's definitely more present, it has a character.

The red fruits are very well mixed without being cloying or too teenag-y, I can't detect jasmine, maybe a whisper of rose but not a specific one, now I see wormwood is the key that gives it's special touch and a natural body odor. Patchouli hugs the combination without being harsh, indolic or too much. You could say it has a floral heart but as I said, it's just a good fruitchouli.

Soft berries till the end + 'minty' patchouli + wormwood = I am not in love with you, but I just like you :)

Can’t comment much on the composition of this fragrance other than to say it smells absolutely beautiful. Sweet and uplifting.. with a faint similarity to the original but this is much stronger and sweeter. It’s a beautiful flanker and a lovely fragrance in its own right. What a wonderful addition to my collection.

jovejove

Patchouli bomb. Compare it to the Mugler Philter and MM Music Fedtival. Sooo heavy on the patchouli

flyergirl❤️perfumes

The opening is a little bit plasticky, after in 10 minutes it settles down your skin and becomes very nice raspberry scent.

Midnight Lady

Not really sure the combination of raspberry and cherry was a lucky decision, to me they clash a bit here.

The cherry is quite nice - it's hard to get an authentic cherry note (and raspberry too), but luckily this one doesn't smell like cola, but it's rather intense and dark. But then there's that raspberry that makes from quite promising and interesting scent a bit of a cheerleader date night fragrance (no offense to cheerleaders).

However I believe it will find an audience.

This does not smell too differently from the original however the performance is really bad. A major disappointment.

I enjoyed the first version, although it wasn't a love, this one is stronger, and to my nose, very much a fruitchouli, like so many out there...quite heady and thick...way to much patchouli for my taste.I didn't care for it, I much prefer the sweet lightness of the original...in terms of being different, it isn't doing great..many scents like it out there...it is warm., but I don't care for fruitchoulis at all..not one I care to get.
I doubt there is a prestigious nose behind it .

Amazing perfume , much better than the previous , this is all red berries, focus on cherry , patchouli and rose !! Huge fan ! Can’t get enough and it’s a compliment getter all the way. Fruity is the new black.
This was one I had to have ,love at first sniff !
Fresh , warm , sweet and sensual , a girls best friend. ARMANI
Longevity is very good , lasts for days on clothes and a whole day on skin. My husband and friends loves this.

damienthoresson

Look, it's definitely not bad by any stretch of the imagination. It's just no where near as interesting as I'd hoped. The wormwood is definitely there, though. However, as one would expect, it's gentrified.

It's not a bad attempt at a mainstream, somewhat weird fragrance. It also managed to keep in line with the masculine co-release 'Stronger With You Intense'. Which is weird? That doesn't make it any less cool, though.

Berries, wormwood and a soft patchouli. Less rose, less cherry... lots of synthetics. Again, not a bad thing, just an observation.

sugarshea

This is intriguing. At first it was looking like yet another diabetic coma of a rose-jam but.. the rose/wormwood angle is intriguing. One of my favorites is that kinda combo so I do wanna test this one.

Petula009

Raspberry-rose combination in action. I smelled the "Because it's you" just once, but this one seems to be more warm, gourmand-ish and overall suitable for colder weather. Love the cherry in there. If this parfume were a person it would be a girl with ginger hair, walking around in early September's sundown sun.

Side note, this is going to be awkward to show people.
“I’m sure you know ‘because it’s you’, ‘In love with you’”
“uuuuh...what?” O.o
“In love with you”
“I’m sorry...I have a boyfriend/husband”
“No, I’m not in love with you, it’s called ‘in love with you’!”
*Customer walks away either embarrassed or creeped out*

Or a customer coming and saying “in love with you”, it’s going to give me great entertainment to joke with them, “you’re in love with me? We’ve just met!”

-_-‘ thank you L’Oreal for this forever lasting awkwardness that will ensue

Just arrived to Canada, smells good in the dry down. Not a fan of the opening, but it’s a good spring sscent

lexina

Tested it today at Douglas in presale. For some reason it really reminds me of Jimmy Choo Stars I have, so I won't be buying this one. It's quite sweet for my taste that leans more chypre floral and aromatic woody. If you like gourmands or floral fruity like LPNR by Guerlain or LVEB by Lancome, you might want to try this one.

ElliCoco

Just got it and I really like it. I think I'll use it a lot. I get red berries and patchouli straight away, mixed with something green and beautifully odd.

Wyded

I have it, it's a nice fragrance like a grown up because it's you, on my skin it's more rose, redberries and a hint of patchouli, longevity is moderate and projection is weak after an hour. I like it even it's not really a new smell, it remind me a bit of la nuit tresor eau de toilette without vanilla

I<3Perfume

This sounds very pretty and it's a blush color. BERRY ROSE PATCHOULI. Mom sounds delicious.
