This is what I wished By the Fireplace would have smelled like, as opposed to the synthetic syrupy burnt mess that doesn't even smell like a woodfire.

This is a nostalgic, comfy bonfire. A little sweet and smoky, slight florals so more feminine leaning but honestly a guy might be able to layer this and make it addictive too

Smokeandhoney

The first original formula of Sì and a couple of years after that were my favourite formulations, that’s when I used to wear it all the time. I’m a sucker for the OG Sì and Sì Intense (black bottle). Le Parfum has the initial first release formulation backbone with a far denser, syrupy, stewed blackcurrant, deep amber, grown up vanilla and sweet benzoin—now this all seems like it would be toothachingly sweet or heavy but it isn’t. Bergamot in the opening introduces this splendid fragrance with a gentle sparkle. The florals lend balance, the patchouli is grounding and woody with a molasses dew that pulls the composition together… and there’s a really gorgeous, smoky undercurrent from a silky incense accord. The incense makes this for me. I just love incense in perfume and it is blended wonderfully in here. This is so sophisticated, so comforting. Boozy and incensy, it goes ever so slightly leathery when I wear it but that leather nuance doesn’t sit on my skin—it is in the aura around me. Perhaps it’s a combination of how the osmanthus and benzoin play off on my skin because osmanthus can go leathery and animalic with my chemistry, which I like. When I take off the cap (which is gorgeous and heavy btw) I’m entranced by the aroma of really concentrated blackcurrant liqueur, honestly you couldn’t write how perfect this is. It’s the kind of perfume you want to spray on your favourite chunky scarf or sweater, burrow your nose inside and deeply inhale them the whole day. This is what a flanker should be—Sì has many of them… but none quite like this. This is so, so beautiful to me and I find it a crime that it is discontinued. Heavenly heavenly 👏🏻 heav👏🏻en👏🏻 ly.

Dramaloladiva

Definitely worth a try but unfortunately, it didn’t work so well on my skin…
It smells like a sour mess and I developed a massive headache tinged with nausea…
I do not wish to repeat the experience so I am definitely letting go of this one…
I really wish I smelled the spicy mulled wine everyone is talking about…it just sounds so lovely…
Oh well, one cannot have it all, I suppose…

Oluchi97

Such a delicious mulled wine scent! Was fortune to get two bottles for £45 each back in 2020. I sprayed once on my hand yesterday just to enjoy the smell and it lasted 12 hours+. I’ll cherish my bottles forever. Such a warm, comforting and classy scent. The kind of perfume that makes you smell and feel rich. The Italian glass cap design is also very beautifully made. I have 14 flankers of Si and this us my favourite, followed by Si Huile, Si Fiori and Si Intense (Black). If you have this and Si Huile use them together… it’s a heavenly combination!

Rozalina

When I take the cap off my bottle of Si Le Parfum I’m greeted with the scent of mulled wine stewing in a pot, lightly spiced and lightly sweetened. Such a lovely perfume! The incense is not offensive and in fact provides this dark fruit brew with a little mystery. It is a shame Armani discontinued this beauty. I only wear it in the Winter.

Pinspatternsandpolish

I managed to find a bottle on marketplace to add to my growing Si collection. This one is beautiful! It remind me of the current Si Intense (2021) bit is deeper again. There is a sweetness to this that makes it more feminine but it's also deep, rich and earthy so differs to the other fruitchouli Perfumes on the market. If the OG Si was cordial, the Intense is the syrup (but not too sweet) and this is mulled wine). The incense and patchouli are beautiful in the background without being overpowering. The Scent is quite linear and doesn't overly project. But it does hang around. I really like this one and will likely reserve it for going out or wearing for myself around the house. It's a bit Intense for the office.

I'm glad I have this in my collection.

Slickchick81

Worth every penny. Beautifully blended, addictive, I immediately want to buy up more bottles. Why Armani, you mad people did you discontinue this perfume? It's fruity, sweet not too sweet yet deep and resinous. Is it linear? yes but you won't be mad at that at all. Not every perfume needs to take you here, there and everywhere, where this perfume stays is perfection. I am feeling myself in this perfume, I feel confident that I smell great. Probably best in Autumn and Winter. Special lunch date, dinner it works for both.

Dramaloladiva

This is one of THE most treasured and cherished bottle within my collection! I absolutely love the way it smells. Boozy, fruity, slightly smoke-y, cozy and with a subtle sweetness that rounds out the whole composition. A beautiful masterpiece and they had to discontinue it, of course 🙄🙄🙄
There is warmth and comfort as the scent settles on my skin, I love the way it smells on me. It’s got a certain addictive aspect to it I cannot put my finger on…maybe it is the amber or the vanilla? Just beautiful and classy and sadly, it very much likely will not be back…shame…

*loves_shoes*

Pleasantly surprised.
It smells of high quality ingredients.
Fruity blackcurrant that doesn’t smell like the dewberry range from the 90’s Body Shop (I’m looking at you Meliora).
Has a tiny touch of warm spice, but this is not an incsense heavy scent at all.
Sweet, fruity, bright, very slightly warm spicy, and a creamy vanilla and fruit dry down.
Really lovely for a designer scent, very safe blind buy.

Edit: I love this so much I bought a back up bottle. If you use a couple of sprays on the same spot you get more incense, or a light hand gives you more fruit. It’s soooo good. Why would they discontinue it?!

SanjuktaB

This is my holy grail Christmas holiday fragrance. It starts off as blackcurrent wine but at the base I get a a drydown of incense, smokiness and maple syrup combined. Your best best is to buy this second hand as retail prices are through the roof and it is discontinued. I dare say that sometimes , I prefer it over Alien essence absolu !

StinkyTinky

Sophisticated. Dry mulled wine. Deep. Confident yet demure. No sweetness. I can understand how this got discontinued as it’s most popular with perfume fanatics such as myself, and I don’t know any in my real life, so I think we are a rare breed.
It gives you something different. Absolutely unique to the current market. The only one in my collection with this kind of composition.
If you can get it at a reasonable price point, I’d say go for it. But that’s not likely to happen at this point.

kristenboris1997

Delicious, fruity, sweet, resinous and incensey. I love it and it lasts! Very strong! I can't get over how good it is :)

Jeremy Lin

No,just...Nope.
It reminds me of how hospital smells like when I was a child ..
The note sounds so promising..

$kank$mell$

So smooth. So sophisticated. So high-class. So luxurious.......So.....small......It does have a winey raisiny nuance as mentioned, and the incense note is just so gorgeous blended nicely into the background. The fragrance feels thick and silky. The sillage is not bad. The longevity is not bad. Not that sweet. Perfectly unisex. The drydown is so darn good. That incense is so good. It has more uncommon traits than it does in common w the original. Its Si's pint sized oriental cousin from the middle east who has and looks like a million bucks.

Swedelish

Si Le Parfum starts off boozy, reminiscent of original Si due to the signature blackcurrant. The bergamot is short lived. If Si edp is red wine, Si Le Parfum is mulled wine with raisins.

It gradually gets spicier as it dries down. I'm shocked there's no cinnamon listed in the notes. To me it's amber, incense, patchouli, blackcurrant that's mellowed after the opening, all coated in heaps of cinnamon, and what I perceive as dried raisins soaked in wine & rum. Exactly this. It's comfortably boozy, not overly so. In many ways it reminds me of Organza Indecence and Hermessence Ambre Narguile. There's a very slight makeup powder vibe happening as well, but it's not obvious or distracting whatsoever. Si Le Parfum isn't innovative. It's a modern designer release, and it behaves like modern perfume, but it has a leg up on many current designer frags for its seamlessly blended, quality ingredients and ability to transport me to a happy place as good perfume does. It's so comforting and inviting.

The bottle is stunning and weighted and looks beautiful inside the soft pink pouch it comes with. The rich color of the juice is enticing. Si Le Parfum doesn't project far from my skin, but sillage is above average as per my husband's account of smelling it in the air long after I had left the room. Longevity is outstanding. It truly is "le parfum" concentration. It's quite possibly the coziest, warmest, most inviting winter fragrance I've ever come across. It's that good.

It gives me the feeling of being with my family on Christmas; the smell of desserts baking and spiced candles swirling together in the toasty air. I can't wait to wear it out on a snowy day layered up in warm leggings, boots and a sweater. I love summer but it's perfumes like this that make me wish winter would hurry up and get here.

Edit: Longevity is kind of insane. If I don't shower or spray myself with something when I wake up the next morning the scent reactivates with the heat of my body and becomes like a second layer of fragrance. Albeit softer than the day before, it is still very much still there. I think it has to do with the high oil concentration . It's kind of crazy actually. My skin is insanely oily and sheen-y with 3 sprays, more oil than I've ever seen come out of an EDP. It stays this way for hours. I try not to rub it in, but sometimes I have to due to the sheer amount of it. This is a great thing in my book, but must take precautions not to get it on light clothing.

JenniferLatifa

This bottle and juice are so beautiful! The smell reminds me of an expensive apple cinnamon Christmas candle. I love it! Super cozy!! It’s more of a skin scent than the regular Si. I love everything Si! But this in no way smells like the original Si or Si Intense.

fumi.adeboye

I got this for a bargain for £50 on eBay! Compared it to the one I bought directly from Armani and it’s authentic (currently selling at 30% off) 😍
This perfume is simply delicious like a dessert wine and I love the smell of incense.
This is a very yummy and sensual smell.
Currently wearing this for Valentine’s Day and will definitely save this for special occasions!
I own 10 variations of Si and it’s flankers and this is my favourite by far.
The high quality of the product is very apparent!

MademoiselleMaya

I have it for a year, and I liked it initially, but now that I'm wearing it one day after Poeme it seems so trivial to me. I can now see the lack of depth and the only comfort it gives is coming from the amber-vanilla that nearly swallows the black currant. It has a limited presence, a one thread scent that just loses its strength with time and does not evolve like the Poeme (a scent with proper structure) does.

DrRosie

Awesome juice! I have the oil which is sadly discontinued - mixing these two together created a magical potion and I hope they do not discontinue this. This is a must have in everyone's collection, totally ageless and genderless! I call these two my gems in a bottle!

thursdaynext

Warm, syrupy pastry on a cold day. Perfect.

Olotitan

Omg I just bought a set of Sí Le Parfum and Sí Huile de Parfum and was so impressed with the quality considering many luxurious Parfums that don't last this one was quite muted but very long lasting almost like a fine wine or expensive liqueur very indulging and sensual an absolute invitation to ecstasy for anyone

This sensual chypre opens with notes of Blackcurrant essence. Its sensual nectar is embodied by Bergamot essence
The heart notes of Incense Benzoin and Jasmine absolute are enhanced by fruity silky accents of Osmanthus absolute.
The amber accord intensifies with the Vanilla and Patchouli that envelopes the skin in a radiant warmth.

Helene_

Black currant is strong here.
It smells like a quality wine, deep, and a little bit amberish.
Si Le Parfum isn't very complex, but the notes are very well mixed together.
I feel somehow unwell for writing such a small review, but i really can't help it :)
My problem here is that i'm quite sure that i smelled something very similar elsewhere- and this is the reason why i refuse to buy 40ml for 130 Euros.

yanaana

Beautiful niche quality.Amber vanilla.
Better than all of Si!

lexina

bought it on sale a week ago. decision based purely on high ratings and the fact I truly liked original Si. tried it on today and must say it seems like a heaven. yes, this is an evening scent for colder months, not warmer days like this one but must say, with my chemistry this is just divine. don't understand why no one mentions it, but all I smell is some expensive brandy / whisky / cognac type of smell. cozy, sweet smell type of which you get during posh Christmas parties. pity it was a last bottle in the store, I would run back to but another one.

Julie_S

This is just horrible !! I can't stand any of Si parfumes, they have something what smells like an old alcohol and vommit. But in this one it is really strong. The worst smelling parfum for me.

lovescully

This is a truly beautiful creation and there are simply not enough superlatives to describe it properly; but I'll give it a try.

I don't usually subscribe to following gender designations in fragrance and I will mostly try anything at least once. However, on my masculine skin I have never been able to comfortably wear either Si (original), or the EDT or Intense variations. I did discover the wonderful Si Parfum Oil (that only came in a 30ml bottle with a dropper applicator) and I immediately fell in love and purchased it.

This Si Le Parfum is yet another variation on the original, but at least in my experience is an entirely new creation. Like the Parfum Oil, this is much richer, stronger and deeper than any previous versions but it does differ with the presence of the incense. This adds a beautiful smokey/spicy aspect that marries very well with the fruit, patchouli and vanilla/benzoin. Despite the overall effect being somewhat like a Christmas pudding with lashings of vanilla custard, this never strays into gourmand territory for me. I think it's all down to the incense which keeps this sophisticated and a bit regal.

The longevity is outstanding, lasting at least 14 hours on skin & much longer on clothes. Like a lot of Parfum concentrations, this doesn't offend but leaves a very nice cloud around the wearer. Others will certainly smell this on you, but it somehow seems gentle. Surprisingly for such a small bottle, the sprayer actually projects a good blast of the fragrance; so apply with caution because it is still potent stuff.

For those that care about the presentation, you will not be disappointed with Si Le Parfum! It comes in a heavy 'suede like' fabric sheath and the small yet heavy Italian crystal glass bottle and stopper are truly lovely.

5 stars out of 5 and 2 big thumbs up.

P.S. Berta15's review and description are spot on!

tijgetje

it's getting colder so SI is back on the shelf :-) I'm so in love with this parfume!

On my skin it starts flowery already with jasmine and osmanthus. Also the cassis is there. Very little bergamot. Then it turns in a warm amber / benzoin smell. Hardly any insence on my skin.

The only negative thing is: I really have to layer because else, I hardly smell it! It's very close to the skin.

rhaineclayton

This is lovely.
It has an incredibly rich, sweet opening - almost like a musk lolly. Then it starts to get a bit deeper.
It reminds me so much of something. It's like a sweeter version of Valentino Oud Absolutto with a bit less projection.
Gorgeous, but since I've had the Valentino Oud before, I'd feel like I'd be repeating myself.

ssaminn

I opened the bottle in the store and smelled the sprayer and I lovvveeeeddd it but I only tested on the paper, and I cannot decide if I still love it or that I cannot stand it! Lol!

This is certainly not a safe scent but for people who love smoky, resinous smells like me, it's a must try!

I can detect all the notes listed above, but to my nose, it smells more like myrrh than benzoin. And it smells very medicinal. Like a traditional medicine made from resins and herbs and amber.

I definitely like this more than the original because there is an intensity to it that a lot of sweet, normal woman's fragrances of our era, hugely lack.

Edemay

Started off intense and with lots of potential
Ended as Ribena

Soofiya

I'm on the fence about this one
I know that I prefer it to Armani si intense which I own but I think I still like si EDP better than this new le parfum flanker
It's thicker, richer and stronger than si EDP.also a little less sweet.I completely agree with genny17.this one has a syrupy and boozy vibe.after my unsuccessful blind buy,si intense,I have to be careful with this one.I have to try it on my skin and observe how it develops and how much incense there would be(I dislike incense)...blackcurrant is strong in this version too but I think I can handle it while it's grounded with this warm balsamic notes
All in all I can say I like it for now
If you'd like your balsamic scent with a double shot of vanilla to make it sweeter and a modern and boozy fruity(blackcurrant) twist, this one is for you
❤❤❤❤
Edit:
I tried it on my skin and incense isn't strong enough to let me down
I think this syrupy, boozy, ambry new member of the family has the most sultry punch in the whole line and can be very memorable and seductive
Sillage is amazing, even better than it's longevity which is satisfying in it's own place and actually projection is what I really care for so let's say I'm impressed with it's strength and I believe that this tiny 40mil bottle will last long
I totally agree with note's order and however it has a well blended juice,I can easily see all the notes in it,a fruitchouli(blackcurrant, small amount of bergamot, patchouli and vanilla) and a touch of buttery florals in a balmy base of smokey amber and benzoin
This is definitely a night fume and for special occasions

genny17

Si le Parfum has a niche quality, it is definitely stronger, bolder, and the incense plays a big role...the patchouli leaf gives it a certain earthiness too, there is a liquorish quality to it, like to my nose , it ressembles Intense in the thickness of the scent..but it is more complex, and just more voluptuous..Si le Parfum has a syrupy refined smell, almost boozy but always refined..this won't dethrone Si edp in my opinion, which is more feminine, fresher too..the drydown is more similar to edp, which is a plus. ..Si le Parfum is utterly beautiful, happy to have .it is expensive and it smells expensive..it is rich and sultry, womanly, sexy almost..it stays a while on the skin..if I see it at a bargain, I will get it for sure !!
Got a bottle from a friend!! Exquisite !!

mell

This perfume is class all the way The bottle cap is made from Italian glass .The ingredients are a high percentage of real oils . The scent is slightly sweet powdery warm inviting very sexy very grown up . But still entirely delicious and wearable . Can be worn for day or night . It opens in an almost cloying way as it develops it becomes more powdery . The amber dominates with the frankincense and vanilla major players . I love the blackcurrant note which opens stronger and becomes more subtle . I have not smelled such a beautiful fragrance for a while now . I am very impressed it is designer If I just smelled and did not know I would have assumed a much higher price tag . That being said it is still not cheap .The longevity and projection are excellent .I have had nothing but compliments . I have not wanted a perfume so much for ages . I tested it for a few days in a row and then bought it not like me I take my time to be sure these days .But I fell in love what can I say the nose wants what the nose wants .

dzingunyte

I like this much more than original Si eau de parfum. Lovely, sweet fragrance. But not in annoying way. It didn't gave me an instant headache as Si eau de parfum. Patchouli is not so strong here. It's calmed down by other notes. Smells luxurious and expensive. Elegant perfume for any occasion. You cannot go unnoticed by wearing it ;)

Oh Sugar

Late December, somewhere between Christmas and New Year's Eve. Festive decorations are still on, it's all cozy and merry outside, people spend time with family and friends they haven't seen for a long time. You go to a party where you have an amazing time with your friends, lots of laugh between sips of Jack and coke, laying on the couch with your sequin dress on, the alcohol feeling all warm and loved inside. There's something in the air that makes you feel that this year is going to be a good one...

The new Si is to me a sparkling, festive, optimistic fragrance. The opening is to me pure whiskey coke note, it later settles down to soft vanilla-creamy sweetness of the original. I can imagine wearing it to parties, dinner and any elegant occassion. This may be the best Si for me so far.

gritzalimaria

the bottle is amazing, and the perfume is better than others Si. It is stronger and darker and it gets really powdery when it dries down. It costs about 130 euro. You can say that it is a very nice fragrance.

i tried this perfume earlier today -again... and... it is marvelous,( i don't like any other Si), it is balsamic, vanilla, rich, fantastic I 'm telling you... one of the best perfumes out there! so beautiful i can't believe that actualy a Si is so good! (sorry but it is my truth) :)

auroramaria

Tested Le Parfum today expecting to at least like it but I don't.It is too balsamic and the incense is very prominent on me.I mean it is very well done but it did not do much for me.
It is sweet and thick but the balsamic note kills it for me.
Great sillage and longevity

Berta15

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT AND I´M OBSESSED.
This version is pure luxury in a bottle I love strong scents and this is it.Veeery strong, heavy sweet-fruity with a lot of depth which make this perfume mature and thanks to the amber and incense it has a classy vibe.I love from the opening to the dry down.It was so sensual so sexy, poweful, warm, cosy that I was amazed.
The opening is a fruit punch,it´s like a real blackcurrant a fresh blackcurrant very lovely but this is nothing.....after a while it start to calm down and there is my amber and vanilla with a touch of patchouli.
I have to sniffed it again and again,my husband love it too.My next purchase would be this, but the price is uuuufh. The 2nd thing is that I love now this bottle,it´s radiate luxury and power.
The longevity and sillage is so strong that is unbeliavable.
This is from me a pure love. <3 <3

FabulouslyLazy

To be honest, I don't like the opening very much, it gives me a strange feeling of overripe fruit and it's slightly cloying. The incense is percepibile, but...but I expected something different! In the dry-down it changes for the better and becomes very similar to Sì EDP. But thicker. And sweeter. I bet it's the mix of amber and black currant that creates this effect. I'll test Sì Le Parfum again in cold weather because that's where it belongs.

Edit Jan. 2017 >>>> As much as I would like to love it, I somehow find the top notes a little overwhelming. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate it, but the opening has something that is just *too much* for me. Even now that the temperature is around or below zero.

Mooniq

Warm nice mix of Patchouli, inscense, amber, benzion, black currant and Vanilla. Its not loud but dances around you like a ghost, teasing you to inhale. Lovely! But I sneeze alot so I can't wear it- happy to have tested Si le parfum.

FabulouslyLazy

I have high hopes on Sì Le Parfum because I love the line and I am looking for a great, non-overpowering incense. Except for a tricky sample, Sì — the one in the bottle — has never been too sweet on my skin, and the incense note could enhance this aromatic/balsamic vibe of the fragrance. I guess it must be an extrait...and cannot believe the judgements on the pyramid above till it will hit the shelves next September!

Edit 08/30/2016: 126€/40ml @ Sephora. (I had the feeling it was a 40ml bottle)

auroramaria

An Italian perfumery website has it on pre order it only comes in a size of 40ml no specification on feragrance concentration though, it costs 140 Euros
I hope info is correct

theladymay

Oh my gosh. It's "Si Le Parfum". An extrait/parfum/pure perfume version. Those commonly come in small sizes because they are much stronger than the eau de parfums & eau de toilettes you're probably used to. Usually applied by the drop rather than by spray (or if sprayed only very lightly!) a 15 ml bottle should go far.
Personally, I can't wait. I love extraits and these days they are rarely seen in popular scents; when I was young pure perfume was what you wore for your hottest dates and your wedding, etc. Nothing like a few luxurious dabs of a good parfum!

jovejove

Orevelon, for your sake, I hope it's $600 for 7,5ml's and only in 3 cities in the world. It'll be whatever it'll be, don't stress over things like that. Fragrance is a luxury, not a necessity. It's a mass market fragrance, so it'll probably be a fair size and price; $140-$200 for a 15-30ml bottle. Can't see it being any less.

auroramaria

This is coming out in September , it's basicly a more intense version of Si couldn't find any info n sizes
