to my nose, it's caramelized sugar sitting on a bed of jasmine, wood, and warm spices with the lovely, aromatic ginger and pimento leaf adding a needed freshness and depth to the scent. so good. and the performance is well-balanced -- you can smell it for a while without bothering anyone around you.

spray less than you think you need to... it's easy to go anosmic to it with 3+ sprays.

the DNA from the original l'interdit scent is noticeable, but this is unique enough that i wouldn't buy it based off of whether you like the other scents in the family or not. becomes overpowering in warmer weather... perfect perfect perfect for fall, winter, and early spring.

WhoKilledCockRobin?

It's a safe blind buy if you like Nina Ricci Rouge. It's like little bit stronger and only little bit more mature version of Rouge. I loved Rouge.

I can smell ginger, sweetness which is rich and pleasant like caramel. Not like cheap candy smell.

Longevity is whole day, you can leave scent trail behind you.

Lovely, for younger women up to 40 (ok, my point of view).

I had sample and don't want to buy it, it reminds me Rouge too much.

It's not extra original scent, but I think it's ideal everyday youthful scent for autumn, winter and spring.

Saveria

L'Interdit Rouge is a very beautiful oriental.

Jasmine and sandalwood both bring sensuality and warmth to the fragrance, then vetiver and ginger add a completely delicious woody and spicy side. Surprisingly, the blood orange is quite discreet to my nose.

L'Interdit Rouge presents notes that I particularly like but sometimes, the sugar overwhelms everything and I don't smell anything else. Then it leaves again and I can smell the notes I like before it comes back and so on. What a pity ! With a little less sugar, it would have been perfect!

But it's still good enough to add to my wishlist ;)

PRADALHOMMEINTENSEGOAT

hypnotic and seductive mysterious cherry like dior poison and black opium line! get this instead of TF lost cherry

Cherry_Darling

Not one for tuberose usually but this is really good. The spicy ginger and sharp grapefruit adds a fruity depth to the creamy florals, complimented nicely by a good quality sandalwood and tropical jasmine. Just by looking at this I would have thought it smells more commercial, although the sweetness is a bit too much here in my opinion. Sweetness aside, this could be niche category in terms of smell just for the uniqueness, creamy, zingy, warm spicy and tropical all at once. no plastic smell, no common generalized commercial dna. (Apart from being a touch too sweet.) Big thumbs up for this one, better than expected. Also, drydown has a mintiness / marshmallow iness to it. Love it!

Princess__manatee

Smoky, spicy and sweet and really unique

asimpleperfumelover

The red candied version of the original, in the dry down it's straight-up sugar on my skin. I'm not usually a fan of gourmands but this is a scent I love.

zephyr1973

This is too much! Too much of EVERYTHING!

Ok, so this is what I envision is someone saying they want something sweet, floral, and LOUD. It reminds me of going thru the perfume section of department stores in the late 80’s/early 90’s. It’s powerful, and it hits you like a wall! I can feel it in all of my pores and it’s possibly making my hair grow! It’s electric and the woman who wears this goes out to club five days a week. It is ONLY appropriate for extroverts. Any of us with introverted natures will feel as though this is wearing them. Do you remember that show Designing Women? This is appropriate for either of the Sugarbaker sisters, but more so for Suzanne (if she were a bit younger and went clubbing five days a week).

If you love a big life in neon, this might be right up your alley!

As for me, I’m going to go scrub this off.

lavendermenace

Smells like cherry candy in a very strong artificial way. Sometimes I smell it and I love and sometimes I can’t stand it. We’ll see how it goes.

Jose Zerpa

I bought this for a special friend because when I smelled it for the first time, it reminded me of her.

This is seriously seductive fragrance, for the woman who knows what she wants. It's dark, rich, complex, yet smooth and magnetic. The tuberose note is very prominent, I would say more so on paper than on skin. My nose also picked up a note of incense (which is not declared but I'm sure it's there) . On skin this smells so much better, it's incredible. She likes strong, sweet perfumes like Valentino Donna or CH Good Girl, so I took my chances with this one, and she totally loved it.

constantinna

Bright day with birds chirping, having breakfast with orange juice, visiting a mall (without the dreadful associations of alienation, capitalism and incoming doom you seem unable to shake off now), you buy bright pink and orange Ikea artificial flowers, joke around with friends and family, take a bite from the soft icecream on top of your dessert, rummage through your beautiful beaded purse to refresh your perfume, Givenchy L’interdit EDP Rouge, matching perfectly with your intricately detailed and lively outfit. For me, this is the movie Uptown Girls (2003), the show Gilmore Girls, the W.i.t.c.h. comicbooks; somehow distinctly eminating a nostalgic reminiscence of that kind of girliness mixed in with timeless childhood whimsy, even though it‘s not an old scent. Invokes energetic warmth, liveliness, joy of everyday paraphernelia and living itself in general, it is bursting with sweetness, flowers blooming on vast colorful fields, music to your ears, I can’t get enough...

Mea.fleur

I know nothing about this line but received a sample with a perfume I bought. I don’t gravitate toward such floral perfumes, but this is nice. The woody notes round it out a lot and make it unisex-leaning in the dry down, imo. Super smooth. I could see myself purchasing this and would even like it on my partner. It reminds me of his Gucci Guilty Elixir but less powdery.

piahellgren

An extraordinarily beautiful white flower scent with a lovely ginger note. I find it sweetest and rounder than the original and I see others do not. Both sharp and smooth. Just perfect blending.

TheFl0rist

I was tempted by bottle colours and note pyramids. Got a 10ml to try on. Upon first spray it spicy ginger. Loads of ginger. After 30mins I find no difference with intense and edp. It's not as sweet as the edp, has the texture of intense yet Linterdit DNA keeps screaming. I'll finish off the 10ml but would not get a full bottle. performance and longevity is amazing.

Laurencopé

I bought this for myself for Christmas and since owning it I can say I very rarely reach for it. It has a very nice spicy scent to it and and it's definitely a more sophisticated version to the original. However, I don't think it's the best female spicy sandalwood scent. And I think if you enjoy the l'inderdit range but want to most sophisticated scent, I would go for the intense

isolaviola

Truly hypnotising and addictive - I can't stop wanting to smell it. Warm and smooth, The spice is there but it's a sweet spice, a truly warm and seductive scent. Perfect for date night - your friend who always wears red lipstick and is chased by every man she speaks to smells like this perfume. Though not listed as a note, the scent profile as a whole gives the impression of dark cherry, true to the fruit - not that nasty synthetic smell. I think it's the combination of the blood orange and the floral that does it. Sadly not long lasting at all on skin, especially if you work an active job. It's unfortunate because otherwise this would be a heavy contender for one of my favourite fragrances ever. Quite simply it smells like a lana del rey album in the best possible way.

JasmineSky

This is gorgeous, dark, spicy, and seductive. The ginger is lovely in the opening, but I also detect licorice (which isn't listed) and the dry down also has some oud (also not listed) but these are definitely two notes I smell. Either way it is beautifully blended. Reminiscent of Juliette Has a Gun 'Into the Void'.

Lolafraglover

It´s the sandalwood and the vetiver for me. On me, it goes straight to the base notes, i get a smokey, or better saying, incensey scent. Warm, i also get the pimento leaf and the ginger. It's kind of a dark close scent, gives me a vintage beautiful vibe but definitely incensey, which conquered me.

the_scent_wizzard

Sweet, spicy and long lasting. It's a great perfume, although you can smell it on a lot of people (I understand though, it smells really nice). This one's a compliment getter for sure.

Samsssriker69

Strongest perfume offered by Ulta right now. Not much to say other than its woody and packs a punch

ar_g02

I love this one! I used original L’interdit edp for 4 years now and my husband got me L’interdit Rouge as a gift. It felt a bit too woody and spicy at first, but now that I’ve used it for a while I can see that I’m getting everything I loved in original edp. Some people don’t like white floral fragrances, but I never received any complaints about this one. Instead, I’m only getting compliments! L’interdit Rouge feels a bit more sassy and dark than the OG, but they’re not so different, so I love both of them a lot 🖤

Letmeregister

I am sure this has a pepper note, really strong one. Almost identical to L'interdit intense. It just does not smell pleasant.

szania

Synthetic tuberose dipped in bubblegum syrup, mixed with dark earthy dry spicy tobacco leafs.
In no way I can see this being seductive with the prominent bubble gum aroma.
In about 2 hours you get nothing but a subtle bubble gum pimento.
L’interdit by givenchy is actually l’accessible because there is nothing deep about it, this is shamefully diluted. To a fine nose, this is shallow, frail and gentle.
This perfume is my highest fragrance deception to this day because it could have lived to its name, by being less sweet and darker with higher quality ingredients. You get rid of this prominent bubble gum/ cherry syrupy sticking chewing gum vibe and add earthiness and you absolutely get the ultimate seductress scent profile.
I am painfully waiting for a niche house to take a turn on this scent because there is something to do here.
If anyone read this and have any recommendations please send me a message!
(Looking for a niche version of l’interdît rouge, something darker and opulent).

Venussweden

This is a really good and naughty, wear it when you want to awaken your inner seductress and spice things up.
Addictive, special, turn on

Good longevity, ok projection and sillage.

It’s all about how she makes you feel about yourself, love yourself.

Try her on skin, give her at least a few chances.

myadkov

Disgusting, tried at the duty-free recently and wanted to throw up. Marked with a big X on a photo to remember hating it so much!

Kdad03

I'm a 40 yr old man who typically doesn't like to wear more feminine-leaning scents... BUT this one is beautiful! Totally unisex in my opinion. The florals mix with the warm spices to create a classy, elegant, well-blended scent that isn't too feminine at all for a confident man to pull off! And it projects like a beast and lasts all day! Absolutely lovely fragrance!

Nikkintense96

I instantly fell in love with this one. At first spray it is strong&bold. Powerful yet feminine. Excellent sillage and durability. And that's saying a lot for me as nothing lasts on me sadly. The way the ginger and blood orange play with the tuberose is so addictive to my nose. I can't get enough! I was a bit fearful of that pimento leaf as this was a blind buy. But either I don't detect it or it just works so dang well together. This scent makes a statement, she's not for the faint of heart. With that said I don't recommend blind buying. This is definitely grown woman stuff right here🥰

Kyliemor

The fragrance reminds me of alien goddess edp intense, no much projection, 5-6hrs longevity, as someone who has smelt a lot of fragrance, it’s just a regular, you will definitely get good comments but for me I expected more

tanaC

L'Interdit Eau de Parfum Rouge Givenchy
(Store test)

I really enjoy the spicy opening, it is really good it is not soft, it is hot.
Then the beautiful white floral heart with slight green tint are build up, it is not really bubble gummy.
However, when it move to further dry down. it is mellow to bubble gummy white floral realm.
with a tint of spicy opening from the top, but I am enjoy. I think I will go full bottle.

Siv7Stars

How is this so overwhelmingly medicinal cherry syrup, when cherry is not mentioned in the notes? Good job I didn't blind buy this.
I tested Rouge Ultime expecting cherry again, but that one is much nicer, no cherry!

Dzlanique

Of all my attention getting fragrances, this is the one that has strangers follow me through a store just to tell me I smell amazing. I wear perfume for my personal enjoyment and experience, but I can't help but enjoy the responses I get with this one.

meel

I got l'Interdit Rouge when it first came out in 2021 and I constantly get compliments when I put it on, it has been in my top three since I got it. Super sexy, sweet, spicy, unique and stands out - if I could describe it, smells kind of similar to root beer in a way like others have mentioned. It lasts alllll day for me and others can smell me from across the room when I wear it! My absolute favourite from the l'Interdit line, this fragrance is perfect.

francesco_grieco

L'Interdit Eau de Parfum Rouge by Givenchy is a flanker maintaining the dna of original Interdit with an addition of sweetness, sexiness and richness. My least favorite in the Interdit line

Bit4

This is special! Sexy, deep and a BEAST. I really get the spicy citrus and it dries down to a patchouli on me, without ever losing the tuberose (one of my favorite notes!) and I couldn't even tell you how long it lasts but it's certainly all day until my nightly shower. I don't get to wear this often enough, but LORD is it beautiful in the Northern Winter. This scent is a masterpiece and I hope I always get to have it in my collection

《Jrobaina134.》

De longe, meu perfume favorito! Uma bomba potente, doce e sensual. Forte e ousado, único, quente e elegante.

IAP

Amazing fragrance, for men and women. Smells sexy and appealing

giuliatrapletti

what else can be said about l’interdit rouge? this is a perfect take on the original, and both are timeless in my opinion. the top notes make it more intense, but still deep, sensual and addicting. lasts for days even after showering or washing your clothes. definitely in my top perfumes.

erenm

i'm not a huge fan of the rest of the l'interdit line since they all smell pretty similar to other mainstream fragrances. what makes this one special is that it takes that overused yet crowd-pleasing dna of the current trend and combines it with more niche notes. the warm spicy accord balances sweet tuberose very well and turns it into something warm, cozy and sexy. there's nothing citrusy about it apart from the opening. it's definitely a cold fall/winter night-out fragrance. it's young, festive and classy.

mrsz.o-o

The search for a fragrance that captures the essence of my favourite new handbag (the one in my dp) is finally over!

It's a sweet and spicy tuberose. It has excellent projection, and it's incredibly alluring and sexy. I love almost everything about it. I only wish the sillage was a little stronger.

This fragrance evokes the scent of a woman who holds high expectations for herself and her lover(s), who is not afraid to ask for what she wants and achieves what she desires whenever she desires it.

A (rare) and successful blind buy.

verity3

@Mishka6: That's funny because my first thought was, smells like the 80s :/ Mary Kay rouge cream with a splash of the OG L'Interdit EDP. Not for me.

Update: Okay, once it settles in there's something oddly comforting about this fragrance. Going to dress up a little fancier today.

Gabsp28

I've had this bottle for a while, and everytime I put it on I ask myself why I don't wear it more! I love it! When you spray it on the blood orange is beautiful and strong, with the ginger in the background. As it starts to settle the florals come through. The sandalwood gives it a soft /woodyness and amber to it. Patchouli does its thing and brings a woody musc , but so subtle, the sandalwood stands out more. I bought this after I used up a free sample, I loved it instantly. I have received compliments aswell, the silliage is amazing, and lasts a good amount of time on the skin, even longer on clothes. This isn't a safe blind buy as I can imagine a lot might not like this, it's strong and in your face. This perfume makes me feel confident when I wear it. The original one is beautiful and quite different, which I think would be more suited to younger audience. You could have both as I feel they are different enough, I would like to add the original to my collection.

nordlanderin

Things to understand about this perfume: 1. you are not likely to enjoy it unless you are at least 30 something 2. it's a very strong scent. If it's not a thing of yours, you'll find yourself choking the entire night/day.

I got a sample and sprayed a tiny amount in the morning. It's been very strong throughout the day. I got a lot of blood orange, patchouli and vetiver. To be honest, I hate the smell, especially because it fills everything with its trail. It's super irritating to me. It might be just right for you if you like perfumes that are hard not to notice though.

Rosiewebber

Oooh this is so good. Floral, sweet, warm, spicy, but clean. Projects well, this is a confident but feminine scent.
I haven’t smelt the original l’interdit (yet!), but it’s on my list to try. I do have fakhar rose, and I see the resemblance, that one is just a hint more laundry-like (but very nice too).
Beautiful.

Scentsitivewoman05

The best l'interdit, better than OG and the best flanker of the line. In the opening I directly smell the tuberose, and the dry down is creamy and I dont know which one makes it that way. The ginger hint not only accompanies the tuberose at the opening but mixed as side dish through the time. It is warm enough for date night on winter or fall, but surprisingly not cloying in hot date night in the summer. If you are like me, dont like follow the crowd who overhype black opium, then pick this one, unique, intriguing, sexy enough but not childish like black opium.

jeanette123

This is my favorite for winter for sure. Intoxicating.

sniffme2017

Wearing this as a guy and I love it. It's my go to scent for chic dinners, formal events etc.
It's just so addictive. Got it as a sample and put it in my toiletry bag (and forgot about it). I then went to Paris and *gasp* forgot my fragrances at home. I used the sample on day one and immediately went to Lafayette to buy it in the afternoon. It will always remind me of Paris now: elegant, a bit bold, sexy, a bit dark.

Emilyrf

I usually find any citrus or tuberose super overbearing on fragrances and tend to avoid as I find it headache inducing but this was a quick airport impulse purchase and I love it! Feels more complex and spicy than the notes and is my new favourite ‘date night’ fragrance

Maradox

I felt like I was inside of a spices market. I feel this is what rich peppers smell like. It blended poorly with my natural scent, I just smelled like I had been in the kitchen all day. Kept waiting for the sexiness to appear but it never showed up. I prefer Angel's share or alikes on my skin. I strongly dislike it.

hblakes70

I’m a little late on this one! So I really do like it it’s close to a love. But lately I do believe my nose is not getting if things are strong or not!?? 😢 THIS? Is sooo close to alien fusion! I wish they had used cinnamon instead of pimento. And if it had a touch of orange blossom? It would be a dupe for Alien Fusion! So for those of you who’ve been looking for an alien fusion dupe? This is very very close! I’m going to layer with some more cinnamon and orange blossom! I do need to give this more time right now it’s not really doing anything with my body chemistry? I will update as I just got this.

Update: I’ve worn this for a week it’s not doing to me what it does one everyone else!!? I thought it would be like more grape or root beer tuberose on me. It’s not showing up at all!?! I have poison it’s my fav perfume like ever! I thought this would be similar with the spicy sexy tuberose but it needs more? Or more my nose is dying? Ugh I just want a sexy bubble gum tuberose!! 😢 that I can actually smell! I do smell on clothes but even there it’s lightly!? Is it my nose? I smell poison just fine! And it lasts on me! I smell my way ( I don’t wear that one as is has no spice) or is it Jomashop where I bought this from? This is the third perfume from them where I felt. Like my nose was broken but I’m wondering if it’s them!?

darkbeauty

Opening is grape cough syrup. Not what I was expecting when I was hoping to encounter ginger and blood orange based on notes. Perhaps this combo creates that impression. There is definitely white floral flower power here but they are covered in a fizzy, soft spicy Dr.Pepper. Some may say root beer, yes, but I get Dr. Pepper. There is a creaminess to it that gives me the image of soda pop, a root beer or Dr.Pepper ice cream float.

I was expecting more to be honest. It goes linear fairly quickly after that jammy grape opening. I’m glad I tested it, but it didn’t make enough of an impression to elaborate further, unfortunately. I was looking for something more mysterious and gothic, bad girl vamp, I suppose, with the reviews based on the hype of that image, but I didn’t get that at all. It’s quite tame.

For one my skin eats up spicy, power house perfumes and tames them from a lion to a lamb, even the vintage ones. I was expecting and hoping to get hardcore punched in the face from the spice everyone mentioned it having. I was ready to get in the kitchen and take the heat! And maybe even burn my ass on the way out. Sadly, nope, it turned shy and left me wanting.

It’s pretty, yes, inoffensive, gentle spice, and creamy florals, great for colder months. You may receive some compliments too. It just wasn’t a love or the heavy hitter I was personally hoping for.

RejectedTheia

Been wearing this for a few months now, and I'm loving it. It's been a journey though, when I first tried it on at Sephora I winced from the artificial cherry opening. Still, kept coming back for more, spraying my wrist each time I walked past a sample at a shop. Finally bought it and haven't looked back. The opening is bit sharp but as soon as it settles, the creamy warmth and spiciness is perfect. Would not call it lactonic, but something in the backdrop reminds me of steaming hot milk - in the best and most comforting way.

addictpiglet

I have contradicting views on this. I go through periods of loving this, sniffing it regularly and then get completely turned off, and find it nauseatingly sweet. If anyone is willing to swap this for something else, I’m down to consider. (within eu)

acidgypsycat

Damn, it's so hard for me to write a review for this one. Probably because I won't say anything original. Fantastic, sweet, warm and passionate smell. It used to be my favourite fragrance but now I've started trying more complex scents and I find myself reaching for this one less and less. Still, I have a lot of love and appreciation for its boldness. Great longevity and sillage, perfect perfume for confident and passionate women. For some reason I sense pear in it but it might be just the combination of all those sweet things Givenchy shoved in it. I ALWAYS get compliments on this one, I would even say it's a safe blind buy, especially if you liked the regular L'interdit. This one is heavier though, more suitable for a night time. Yeah, don't know what else to say. Love it.
I would love to smell it on some femme fatale one day and take her out to dinner.

Creamy_ambrette

So far, first impression is it smells like L’interdit edp mixed with root beer and I LOVE it. Got a sample from Ulta (brought my own empty 2 Ml atomizer -ask permission)
It has very nice siliage. Hopefully it also has great longevity. Might be full bottle worthy. Will update

nidabeyaz

Best linterdit flanker!

Rwertz123

I had high hopes for this perfume but as I the other one that thinks it smells like root beer? It’s not necessarily a bad thing but I was surprised when I smelled it the first time!

silenthedges

The 2019 L’Interdit mixed with basic Xmas candle scent.
Nice but not worth the full price.

secretsfromagirl

my favorite perfume ever!!! everyone compliments it, it stays on my clothes forever!

Matinieri

I just got this as a Christmas present cause the original L'inderit is my signature scent. Frankly I hate it, it's so heavily I'm getting dizzy. On me it smells exactly like Dior Poison. On clothes it smells like the original one with a hint of acid citrus but I'm not wearing in on clothes, right? Uhhh I don't even know what to do with my bottle now. I might use it to make my letters smell good or something

Sarra816

Sexy spicy floral, perfect for a dark feminine vibe. It starts of strong with the blood orange and spices then it becomes softer, like the original L'interdit.
Wonderful for Fall and Winter nights.

Cloe49

Something weird happened to me. I first tried it in store and I felt completely in love with it. After buying the full bottle, I was so excited about wearing it for the first time. I spraid a couple of times. Nothing. Another spray. 0. I went completely noseblind. So weird. I started to smell it after a while, while I was driving into my car, and I was totally disappointed. Too strong, too soffocating. A no for me.

coraline28

I liked it when I tried it in stores, something dark for a night out I thought. Then I got a sample from it amd tried to wear it. It's a big no for me. It's way too strong and it gives me headaches. It's similar to Armani My Way because it's a smell bomb in a headache inducing way. I wanted to love it but it's way too much:/ I can stand YSL intense for exampls. YSL is strong but nice, it has some freshness to it. This one is too rough.

emiliaa

i can't describe how much i love this perfume...
the smell first time i sprayed it, the warmness around me was the pick moment of my perfume journey
the bottle is perfect and looks expensive itself. people always ask me when i wear it. someone said me my perfume comes before me when i enter a room.
it's a bit too spicy but the spice becomes some sweet, clingy scent a moment later. some womanly woman scent
ABSOLUTE FAVORITE🩷

leahlzander

Cherry cough syrup. Absolutely vile.

i sampled this at the store i LOVED IT but if i was deciding to buy it based on the notes above i'd never go for it

first it starts of very strong and very sweet and there is a cherry scent that is rich and deep for the first ..idk..3 hours?

i love that smell but it makes me self concious because i don't know how others percive it..i worry that i comes off as trying to hard or something..cuz it's so strong and so sweet and at home i love the too much scent but around others idk what they're thinking

however once the dry down happens it starts to smell like your skin but better

there comes a little powdery note that that softens the boldness of the first bit of the perfume..it's still sweet tho....a sweet? powdery?musk? the cherry scent is also still thre but softer...everything just becomes softer and less concentrated?

btw i know it may seem like i don't like the first bit, i do ...it's what made me buy the perfume .... it's just me reflecting now

Lamiawitipo

Exactly the same experience as the reviewer bellow, I tried so hard to love it and even left it one year for maceration but there is this very spicy thing that turns my stomach the first hours although I love all the notes listed. The dry down is nice but not worthy the agony to get to it. Despite the hype and the high ranking of this perfume it is not a safe blind buy.

MayaZgb

Oh i tried so hard to love this one...tried this perfume several time but no..so bitter and weird..not sure what is it but awful scent on my skin for first 2hour..after that it is ok, drydown is much better for me. I have original L'interdit wich I adore.. But this one is no..And I really tried to love this one..

Palmierhunter

This is my favourite perfume in the whole entire world, the white floral and spicy notes work in so much harmony to give you this sensual scent, she smells like a red lipped stiletto heels mistress.
It’s a dark and sensual scent bound to turn heads.

velvetulipe

I looove love love this perfume. It's warm, sexy and soft. I love the pimento and ginger at the beginning and it's softens down to a slightly sweet sent (not to sweet... I hate sweet perfumes so you can trust me on this) and definitely not fruity. It's a perfect perfume for winter. The longivity is amazing too !

Ladylannae

I can't get past the powdery-ness of this fragrance. Everything else makes this such a strong and sexy scent. I'd like to smell this on someone else and see how it projects on their skin, it's just not for me. I feel like this fragrance ages me.

PaulaM999

This is awful, tho fruity and feminine, there’s something profoundly wrong with this perfume like it doesn’t decide what it wants to be, the opening is fruity with a tone of glue? To it, the heart is elegant and similar to previous givenchy perfumes but the dry down is the smell of a Sunday at catholic mass, awful mix. Confusing, un sexy, and at moment head ache inducing.

kajsaimani

I absolutely adore this fragrance its an amazing deep sweet, spicy and jasmine floral, its such a beautiful blend, smells so nice and I get lots of compliments on it. My boyfriend loves it too. Leaves a scent trail and fills up the room, I sprayed left and right side on my neck and once on my wrist. I applied it in the morning and I can still smell it the day after.

disintigratedwoman

As a follow-up to my review below - the more time I spend time with l'Interdit Rouge, the more I realize how close the grapey jasmine opening note bears similarity to Alien, as well as Armani Code Cashmere (which makes sense, given that Dominique Ropion is also the nose behind those ones!).

As it settles, it more closely resembles a smoother, less powdery version of Hypnotic Poison to my nose. Totally gorgeous, head-turning fragrance.

disintigratedwoman

Spicy bubble gum which then turns into the creamiest root beer float. Absolutely delicious, sexy scent.

After I (reluctantly) allowed a lady at my local department store perfume counter to spray this on me, I was taken by *total* surprise by how much I enjoyed this one. I don’t normally go for jasmine or tuberose-heavy scents, but I couldn’t stop smelling my wrist. It was sweet and spicy, slightly reminiscent of bubble gum - but in a grown up way. As it settled, it began to lean towards a creamier, slightly more powdery scent, reminiscent of Hypnotic Poison (but better, in my view). Again, I could not stop smelling my wrist. The dry down was truly to die for. I ended up going back and purchasing the biggest bottle.

This is unlike anything I have in my collection. Sexy, confident and sweet. Did I mention that longevity is amazing?

I should also add that I had my boyfriend smell this and he was very much a fan (he’s usually quite critical of perfumes I make him smell).

This is definitely the kind of scent I’d wear on a date, or to an evening event where I’d want to be noticed. Looking very forward to wearing this during the holidays :)

MariaGabrielaKristina

It's a little too heavy and too sweet for my taste, but still exciting and stylish. Suitable for winter

Swaniliowy

To be honest, I feel older than I am when I am wearing this. It gives me a vibe of a women who is in their mid thirties. However in my mind that woman has a strong personality, and depends only herself.

It may not be a summer/spring wear perfume and may overwhelm you but perfectly suits for cold, breezy nights. Definitely a winter perfume. You can wear it in day time but better if you wear at nights.

It's more like a spicy perfume but has slight tuberose and jasmine notes to eliminate the deepness of the spicy notes. You can definitely smell blood oranges, but not too tangerine-ish, which I like.

Patchouli notes stay in the skin as well.

I wore this today and a nice lady complimented me and asked my perfumes name.

It's dark feminine, and has dark-winter type of personality. Sexy, intoxicating, appetizing and elegant.

Lesley Jane

I didn't discover this one until a few months ago. My new favourite! For me it's the Sandalwood, Patchouli and Vetiver. Nice and deep and spicy and lasts all day or night.

AromaticOlfacto

I thought I’d love this and wanted to love this, but it didn’t smell anything like I thought it would. On my skin, all I smelled was root beer/sassafras/licorice/ anise - I guess it’s the patchouli. I do get a faint tuberose note in the dry down but this perfume smells harsh on me.

chiaraherself

Tuberose Endgegner. A pass for me unfortunately.

emily erdbeer

Root beer, but make it sexy

Thykes10

There's an earthy spice right from the beginning. I don't pick up on much of the orange note listed in the opening. It's a nice warm spicy tuberose scent. Definitely a colder weather scent and would be great for a date night. I can see why people say it gives off a mysterious sexy vibe. I enjoy and can appreciate the scent but don't think it's quite "me."

Hesssa21

Not as dark as people describe it to be. To me, it's not dark at all. It reminds me of the smell of a shampoo I used to use. The notes that stand out to me the most is the blood orange, patchouli. Emphasis on the patchouli. I also smell a bit of the jasmine. Everything else helps it smell a bit warmer/helps it come together more. I wouldn't say this is spicy. I can't get over the shampoo thing so to me this will always be a partially fresh/warm patchouli fragrance despite people saying its a femme fatale or sexy perfume. It's a crowd pleaser so a good gift for women maybe? I bought it impulsively to try something different to what I like but I never wear it.

ccwalters

Smells so beautiful but something in it causes me to get extremely nauseous. Scrubber for me sadly!

°EveryMel°

I really wanted to love this and I almost blind bought it. I’m so glad that I sampled it first. 80% of this is gorgeous. 20% of this on me is bug spray. I have no idea what note is reading that way on my skin. Maybe the pimento leaf? It is there for the entire duration of the wear. Sigh.

I will try it again another time and see if it develops in a different way. But for now, this is an unfortunate pass for me.

Gina0909

Love at first sniff. Its beautiful.

craquelcarrera89

This is my fav perfume ever.
The notes work perfectly together and I smell like a Sexy Witch during the fall and winter.

PeacefulSunshine

Wow this is such a strong scent!

I really like the OG L'Interdit so I was curious to give this one a try. But unfortunately this one is not quite my vibe. The patchouli is too strong--reminds me of bong (oh, sorry-- "water pipe") shops. It's also too warm & spicy for me... I'm not sure what pimento leaf smells like, but that could also be a scent that is making this too weird for me. I love patchouli being a note in perfumes, but I don't like patchouli-dominant perfumes like this one. I don't have the mysterious & dark and/or hippie vibe to resonate with what this smell is putting off. But I can see how others would like it.

I also love tuberose but this one doesn't feel like a tuberose-forward scent; the tuberose here is an accent instead of the star. (Some may prefer that, but I love me some tuberose!) I also live in a tropical place so this smell is too smoky/heavy. I can see this working well in the fall and even winter in colder places, though.

jdb_

Maybe I’m into rougher fragrances, but I’m not getting the femme fatale vibe from this. The bottle looks like the juice is going to be dangerous but then it turns out to be a nice bubblegummy scent with some fall-like spices. I think it’s elegant and grown up, but not stuffy. Perhaps an event/special occasion scent for fall and winter. I was just waiting for all the dark mysterious drama and it never landed for me. It didn’t have a lot of projection in my experience, but the longevity was solid.

PS! I should acknowledge it is unique for a designer frag- def stands out and doesn’t smell synthetic. My husband said it reminds him of the store Earthbound which is cute.

Juels

I got a small sample of this one and immediately I felt in love with it! It will be my next buy for sure. It is feminine, provocative, incredible unique and sexy scent. Medium projection & it is long lasting on my skin. It is transforming so beautiful, smells way much better after 30 min-1h.

Bibi_S

I really don't see why you would need this if you already have the OG and the Intense version. On me it's closer to the Intense version, but in the drydown so similar to the OG one too, so won't be investing in this one as well. But the high quality is there, for sure.

JaeIsFancy

This is a spicy floral dream! I’m picky about flowers but seem to do well with tuberose. This reminds me of an autumn cocktail with a floral garnish. Spicy from the ginger & cinnamon, the tuberose is bubblegummy, as it is in the other L’interdit’s, and the patchouli is well grounded and doesn’t smell dirty. It’s beautifully composed, and my favorite of the designers frags that I own. I find it more suitable to wear in Autumn/Winter, and night time for most people but tbh I wear it in the daytime a lot. The sillage and projection are great on me, but I go nose blind after a while because I’ve had people compliment me when I could no longer smell it. If you’re spicy, this is a good match.

Mia80

I really wanted to like this one! The most alluring bottle design, originally created for Audrey Hepburn, yet, some note in it bothers me, it’s all too warm and too much. Black version is better.

Sophiè de l'Orient

This one is overwhelmingly alluring - in the best way possible, of course! Tuberose is not the protagonist here, and maybe that's why I love it, it is rather at the background, supporting the spiciness of the ginger and the bitter zing of the blood orange. Smokey and not too sweet, I find it balanced but very feisty. Makes you feel like a femme fatale!

himeboshi

DANG this was the disappointment of my life. I had very high hopes until I had a sniff at sephora. I mean, the longitivity is fabulous and the dry down hours later was fine but that's it. It smells super medical, old-fashioned and disgusting!

Ek4949

After my years of searching, finally found it! I love it. I had lots of compliments. They stop me on the street to ask what my perfume is. I was very sad after they discontinued the Hugo Boss-Intense. But this really reminds me of that, a nicer version of that. But I think it could perform better. The lasting is moderate.

VioletScented

This is such a unique scent for fall and winter. On me, it literally smells like my hair when I get a blow out at a high end salon. It smells so warm, maybe a touch like burning incense but not smoky. It's uncharacteristic for me to love something like this so much, but wow I want it. Definitely not for everyone! I'll be buying a small bottle or rollerball.

Lottsieloo

I love this perfume, it stands out in the designer market, it’s quite unique and complexe. Only wish it would perform better :(

Carsonriggs7

Smells just like root beer at first and dries down to vanilla. Very sweet but not overly so! I’ve definitely gotten compliments on this fragrance, but I can see it being a difficult blind buy.

Maya lilac

L’Interdit Rouge such a stand out in the designer market! I see this as the ideal fall fragrance for those who don’t want the typical vanilla, ambery, woody, resinous, gourmand scent.

It’s an intriguing blend of white flowers: tuberose and jasmine with spicy notes: ginger and pimento leaves. But it’s more than just that. Add to all of the above a zesty blood orange, some creamy sandalwood, earthy patchouli and vetiver. You will get an outstanding, long lasting and very deep scent. This is L’Interdit Rouge for me.

An unique, strong, alluring, addictive and seductive fragrance for a decent price bottled in a beautiful, rich, deep burgundy packaging.

A head turner from Givenchy perfectly suited for night life!

figgypudding

This smells like Fun Dip, as in the powder fruit candy with a sugar stick. It dries down to a nice sweet floral.

Dzlanique

This is my type of fragrance, especially in the deep winter months. It's spicy, unique, sweet, and potent. The last time I wore it, I had a person follow me out of the store just to tell me I smelled incredible. I wear perfume to boost my own mood, however it is always a plus when a scent gets noticed.

midnightcat

deep, earthy, dark and spicy aaah yes

michirad

spicy cinnamon bubblegum with an initial mouthful of cherry and orange skittles...I have no problem with synthetic-smelling elements in fragrances (not everything has to imitate nature!) but this is SYNTHETIC in the way that gum and fruity candy are synthetic, plus crammed with sugar; anyway, not for me! I wish I smelled patchouli, vetiver, or sandalwood in this, something to ground it and cut through the cloying bubblegum tuberose. Glad I sampled first.

prancingponytail

Not a safe blind-buy. I expected to and actually wanted to like this very much because of the notes listed here (and let's be honest, it's Ropion) but something hits very hard and synthetic... Is it cherry or some kind of a berry with patchouli, I don't know but it's harsh and migraine inducing. Please test for a full day before you buy.

poisonwasthecure

Sweet, deep, spicy and creamy is how I would describe this scent 😍 It's long lasting on my skin, and on my clothes I can still smell it after 48 hours. It dries down to a gourmand type of patchouli-vanilla, and I'm by no means saying this is similar to Elie Saab GoN (my all time fav scent), but if you like the vibe of that one, you might enjoy this one too 😍

Marilouparfemme

Very creamy and smooth. Rich and Not sweet. It has a calming effect on me that's why i wear it to bed. Great sillage and the longevity on me is 6 hours+. My man rated it as 8,5/10 but for me it's definitely higher maybe 9,5. I can smell the blood orange and some spices. it's very well blended in an exquisite way that wraps you in a powerful and hugging rich beautiful aroma. Gives me good mood and i feel peaceful and optimistic.

Elfin Will

It's like a rounder, warmer version of Twilly! I love it! For me, it's the best of the L'interdit family. Floral, woody, not too sweet, not too common, warm spicy but sparkling (with that blood orange note). I recommend it for lovers of white flowers, sandalwood and ginger!

lagutfm

if you dislike this perfume I automatically don't trust you

Ihatecords

A better version of good girl

Jackie Moreira

Well, I received compliments wearing this one. I wear it for work with moderate sprays, like 2 sprays. It has better performance after 2 hours, all the spice is calmer and well blended. It is a pity it fades on my skin after 5 hours, Stretching, even though I have oily skin. Better in colder weathers, specially rainy days or Christmas Market. The L´interdit DNA is less noticeable in the first couple of hours, but after 2 hours it starts to come up in a lighter way. I wear it often, yes, as I said, it is crowd pleaser.

sagecoated

This one smells amazing on me... I wish I was the woman to wear it though, maybe one day I will be haha. Love that it is heavy, loud and dark in the best way. The base notes finish off the fragrance greatly, especially the sandalwood. A rich crème brûlée.

JenAvery

Another review said Root Beer… 100% correct! Smells exactly like root beer on me. I don’t hate it. It’s very holidays, winter vibe. It’s warm, spicy and cozy.

Bhavnalovesscents

Date night scent. Super long lasting. Alluring and intoxicating. Great projection and sillage. Its warm, spicy and woody.

qofb

Gosh this is so good, I sprayed this on paper 9 days ago, the paper now smells of the most delicious, sweet creamy vanilla with a touch of hot spice. I need to go try this a few more times and compare with the intense but mmm, this is a gem.

Diabolical-iris

I never liked when people describe a perfume as "old lady" or "matronly" this however, can be the exception. The thought of warm ginger and sandalwood together in a perfume intrigued me, I tried a quick spritz of it on a testing strip and immediately the rich warm ginger hit me- it was like smelling Christmas. Then, I tried it on my skin and oh my did the dry down do the perfume dirty. I was quickly brought back to every church function i was dragged to and old aunt I was forced to hug. Maybe this was just poor for my skin chemistry, but please, do not blind buy.

Silvi_pankova

This fragrance got me a man. I don’t need to say more… ❤️

dzingunyte

Amazing, sweet,sexy and feminine.
Definitely one of my favourite from Givenchy range.

cribbycrab

I have a lot of perfumes and seemingly endless samples and I am currently in the process to figure out my top 20 or 25 that I will keep forever, and this perfume is definitely pretty high up that list. I have been disappointed with a lot of popular perfumes but this lives up to its hype. I don’t know what magic this combination of notes have created but to me, the dark, spicy, sweet, almost vanillic scent is just divine. It is not a gourmand but it makes my mouth water when I smell it. This is definitely a mature scent, a night out scent, a confident scent. This is White florals elevated to something more. A love.

MyLittlePudding

A beautiful high quality juice. To my nose this opens up extremely dark and spicy, almost like the kind of spicy that tickles your nose (probably from the ginger). Don't let that put you off though - it settles after about 20/30 mins to a beautiful, dark, sexy, date night scent full of gorgeous white florals and a slight wash of spice. I don't get much blood orange at all to be honest. It dries down to the most stunning sandalwood concoction. Slightly masc leaning.

In my opinion this is wearable for daytime - but I'm not one to follow fragrance 'rules' and just wear whatever floats my boat on the day... I reach for this if I'm feeling confident, or if I want to make a good first impression.

I get about 6-8hrs wear with good projection and strength.

Also a great compliment getter!

9/10 :)

megalomaniac777

i’ve never written a review before so bare with me
okay so i bought this perfume because i was at the airport and my mom and i were just sniffing random perfume testers and i smelled the like normal l’interdit one and it was like meh not rlly for me then i saw this one nice red bottle i sprayed some on my arm and the opening note wasn’t exactly sometbing i’d usually wear
i prefer more floral or gourmand scents so i didn’t think much of it, it was spicy, nice but not rlly hooked me
but then a bit later i smelled my wrist again and it smelled sweet and like intoxicating i fell in love with the finishing scent when it like sat for half an hour on my skin and i kept smelling it throughout the day obsessed with it and amazed at how it’s still lasting like 8 hours later because i’d been looking for a like signature scent for a while now and this is the first perfume i’ve fallen in love with per say so i just had to get a bottle the next day lmao it was 100$ though so definitely not cheap but it’s my baby and i’ll use it wisely !

Kirsty_janet

Incredibly sexy, this is what I imagine Vampirella would smell like. 10/10 performance and longevity.

Keonaaa

I ignored this perfume for so long because I have so many I am trying to enjoy. I kept seeing it and I finally caved in. I just got it today and it’s SUPER SEXY! Definitely getting the original dna but spicier, warmer and darker! I cannot wait until it cools off so I wear this! It’s special occasion and date night worthy! Glad I got the big bottle.

hblakes70

I have one thing to say here….if they stop making the original L’interdit Rouge??? Grrr I’m tired of all of my spicy alien fusion dupes being stopped! 😭 😭

TIMELESS FEMININE STYLE AND GRACE

In 1951, attention in New York focused on the young European girl called Audrey Hepburn, who starred in the Broadway production of "Gigi". In it, a restless young woman attracts the attention of an older playboy while receiving etiquette lessons to become a lady of the aristocracy.
In 1953, Gregory Peck and Audrey Hepburn delighted us with the unforgettable romantic comedy "Roman Holiday". They played a charming reporter and a bored royal princess who decides to have some anonymous fun in Rome. Hepburn's performance received an Oscar for Best Actress.
In 1954, two brothers from an influential American family fall in love with "Sabrina". She was the chauffeur's daughter who had just returned home after a two-year stay in Paris. The youthful charm of the Oscar-nominated Audrey attracts all the attention of Humphrey Bogart, who plays the business-minded older brother.
After another Oscar nomination for "The Nun's Story" in 1959, Audrey Hepburn played a dreamy, free-spirited luxury companion who dreams of marrying a rich man and becoming an actress. In 1961, this portrayal earned her fourth Oscar nomination for "Breakfast at Tiffany's".
In 1964, the pompous Professor Henry Higgins, played by Sir Rex Harrison, is so convinced of his abilities that he takes it upon himself to transform a Covent Garden flower girl into a lady who can pass for a member of high society. This is the enchanting and strong-willed Eliza Doolittle, played by Audrey Hepburn. She achieved her greatest public recognition with her role in "My Fair Lady".
Audrey Hepburn proved her versatility as a successful actress by being nominated for an Oscar for the fifth time for her performance in "Wait Until Dark", in which a recently blinded young woman is terrorised by a trio of thugs looking for a doll filled with heroin she suspects is in her flat.
Born in Brussels, Audrey Hepburn was an even bigger character than her film career suggests. As a young ballet student during World War II, Hepburn helped the Dutch resistance against the invaders. She later became a dedicated goodwill ambassador, travelling the world to support the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
Audrey Hepburn, the artist, always moved in the limbo between the status of a girl and that of an adult woman. Her eternally youthful image was an epitome of charm, elegance, grace and sophistication. She was one of the greatest style icons of 20th-century fashion and Hubert de Givenchy recognised her as his muse. The French designer dedicated "L'Interdit (1957) (Perfume) | Givenchy" to her. Hubert de Givenchy was the son of a French marquis and Audrey Hepburn, was the daughter of a Dutch baroness. The two have had a close friendship for 40 years and a shared love of fashion that has enchanted the whole world. They were always close companions and worked together on the extremely elegant dresses she wore in her films and at public appearances.

When I first smelled "L'Interdit" (Eau de Parfum Rouge), I immediately thought of Audrey Hepburn. This perfume is "lady" enough and "girl" enough to remind me of Givenchy's greatest muse. The original "L'Interdit", from 1957, smells of aldehydes mixed with fruity and floral notes. The powdery feeling is dominant but not overwhelming. The fruity notes of peach and strawberry and the powdery accords of rose, iris and white flowers give the original "L'Interdit", a spring-like character. The recent "L'Interdit (EDP Rouge) loses the aldehyde note and powdery feel of the now sixty-year-old pioneer. On the top, we experience a hint of tangy, sweet and juicy blood orange mixed with a hint of refreshing ginger. In the fragrance heart, an intense, sensual and slightly sweet accord of white flowers develops, but also shows green nuances. I detect jasmine, but the focus is on the tuberose note, a resinous, almost dirty and glorious tuberose. Despite the top and heart notes described, this is not a fresh fragrance. The spicy and woody undertones of pimento leaf, fragrant sandalwood and slightly dark patchouli give this perfume a sense of warmth, making it very deep and sensual and suitable for cold weather and evening or night-time occasions.
In short, the fragrance is warm, velvety, sensual, cosy and sweet. It is also very versatile and can be worn at a dinner party, an evening out with friends, in the comfort of your own home, or even while walking around town. I can imagine a graceful young girl wearing it, but it also suits very well the flair of a grown-up beautiful woman. It's just so perfect. It's just so Audrey. The face of the ad campaign is Oscar-winning actress Patricia Rooney Mara. Did you notice the similarities with Audrey Hepburn?

Let me give you some numbers on the red "L'Interdit":
___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___
- Scent opening: 8.5 (juicy blood orange, some ginger freshness and powerful tuberose).
- Scent finish: 9.5 (Sweetness of white flowers with fragrant sandalwood and a dark hint of patchouli).
- Longevity: 9.0 (3 sprays last 9 to 10 hours).
- Sillage: 8.0 (up to 5~6 feet and 2.5 hours of projection with 3 sprays).
- Uniqueness: 7.5 (As a flanker, it reminds me a little of "L'Interdit (2020) (Eau de Parfum Intense) | Givenchy"; but I also feel a certain closeness to "Le Vestiaire - Supreme Bouquet | Yves Saint Laurent", actually blended by Dominique Ropion, "Armani Privé - Rouge Malachite | Giorgio Armani" and "Hugo Deep Red | Hugo Boss").
- Wearability: 9.0 (Do not wear in hot weather; do consider it both a day and night perfume).
- Versatility: 8.5 (Hardly a perfume suitable for outdoors, the beach, the gym or physical activities. It is very versatile and shines both in intimacy and at an elegant evening event).
- Praise: 9.0 (You will get way more compliments than average).
- Quality: 9.0 (I can mention an undesirable bubble-gum faint accord; for my preferences, this is the only flaw I detect).
- Presentation: 9.0 (Very elegant).
- Price: 7.5: The 85-ml bottle is currently selling for €100 at various internet retailers; as this is a fairly new perfume, I expect the price to drop to around €80 shortly).
___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___
Overall rating: 8.59 / 10.00
- between 7 and 8 = above average;
- between 8 and 9 = recommendable;
- above 9 = definitely not to be missed;

My opinion: This perfume feels very good on a woman's skin. It is sweet, spicy and floral. On the finish, it is oriental and woody. It is my "Audrey Hepburn modern perfume". However, due to its price, I would not recommend it for a blind purchase.

Music: "Moon River" composed by Henry Mancini, lyrics by Johnny Mercer and sung by Audrey Hepburn.

stephm42120

It reminds me of root beer and cherry cola. That kind of vibe. It is a very interesting scent profile. I sprayed a little bit on my wrist to test it out finally but I’m not the biggest fan tbh. I’m sure it suits others amazingly.

BrittXo

My favourite sexy date night scent, perfect for the fall, winter, or an evening out on a summer night. Spicy and sweet. This perfume is soooo intoxicating. Buy it and thank me later!!!

SandyToess

There is a new red flanker released, just a week ago. It smells similar but much more-fruity fresh, more crowd pleasing/easy reach. I will be investing in this bad boy though.

lenomducauchemar

this smells soOOOO SEXY def the scent of a grown ass maneater, i saw someone say this suits bihter ziyagil too and both are so correct. its so warm and like a dark red hole which keeps your nose pulled in because the white florals are so elegantly compined with the spices and nothing truly pokes out, the scent is so smooth and so good I WANT IT

Cymbopogon

This is my favorite L’Interdit Orange, spices, white flower Patchouli that very deep, dark but not overly sweet very well blended that long lasting.
Givenchy Could you Please don’t discontinue this one.

ava96

Beautiful scent, very interesting and unique, but not exactly one that suits my personality. In a way it's too serious and "grown-up", I don't feel like it suits me (I'm 27 so not a teenager, but not a full lady, haha). Nevertheless really beautiful scent, the drydown has a crackling fire feel to it.

Sodastream83

So I've tried the other Interdits in the line and didn't care for them, so somehow this fell under the radar. But recently I got a sample of this and Hello, I'm in love! I think this fragrance is what you would call "sex in a bottle". It could very well be an initital love that fades out, but right now I get all excited smelling my arm. I have a very, very expensive bottle of Xerjoff Italica at home, and even though they don't share same scent notes, they are giving me somehow the same vibe. Sensual, delicious. Makes a real statement. I could imagine Angelina Jolie in the movie "Mr & Mrs.Smith" wearing this. The only con right now is I don't really find a suitable occasion when I could wear this and it keeps me from splurging on it. I'll save it for autumn/winter.

JoshMonkey

I'm afraid to buy for my fiancé because it's too incredibly sexy and alluring. I love this flanker. I love the regular L'Interdit, but this one is for the bedroom ;)

HannahRosesAreRed

L’Interdit eau de parfum Rouge was a case of me judging a book by its cover and being proven wrong. I expected something deep, rich and romantic, thanks to that gorgeous, dark red hue of the bottle. I tested it on my skin, and I got what I expected—at first. Rouge opens up with a dark, orangey citrus note, with a hint of spice and pepper. Then immediately veered into something far more pungent and aromatic.

The patchouli note dominated on my skin, edging out the sandalwood and vetiver. Although white florals were listed here, they didn’t read as floral to my nose—just sweetness. The tuberose was slightly easier to pick up on. The combo of sweet, spicy and pungent patchouli made Rouge almost resemble Mugler’s Angel, at least on my skin. It’s not as super sweet, gourmand or nuclear as Angel, but L’Interdit Rouge is a projection beast. One spray on my wrist was all I needed—I could smell it all day from an arm’s length.

I think this is a good perfume, in terms of performance. It’s not my style, and not what I was looking for, but I can see this working as a sophisticated choice for cooler months.

Vhemi86

This is my favorite fragrance in my collection. The smell is calming and rich, it also lasts all day.

Tried it at Ulta, I thought it was just okay, nothing spectacular. My bf thought it smelled like candy though. Now I wanna try it again. I was surrounded by other perfumes so maybe I’ll pick up a sample and smell it in the privacy of my home.

kisamisa

SO PRETTY. this has skyrocketed to one of my top 5 favorite fragrances of all time in just a couple of days, and i tend to never immediately like a certain fragrance. this is a beautiful, magnetic spicy jasmine scent. i get a very obvious licorice note here, that’s probably just a combination of the ginger and sandalwood. smells edible and simultaneously very sophisticated. the longevity is really good (my skin eats fragrances up, so nothing really lasts on me, but just one spritz stayed on for 8 hours till i washed it off).

LunaFortuna

So, funny story. I was at TJ Maxx and I smelled this one fragrance that absolutely took me aback. It was called "Intimate Rouge" by Rvl Brands, though I have seen it listed online under different brands, but the bottle was the same. On the bottom, it said that it was made in UAE, which made me think that it was a dupe for something that I hadn't smelled before. I think that the jasmine, patchouli, sandalwood, and citrus notes reminded me ever so slightly of Instant Crush by Mancera, but only very slightly, because they really are worlds apart. Anyway, I grabbed a bottle of Intimate Rouge at TJ Maxx and went home.

Once home, I decided to do some sleuthing. I found one single listing of this vague and obscure perfume which listed the notes. Using Fragrantica, I searched by notes, and narrowed it down to L'Interdit Rouge. Still, I wanted to be sure. I dug a bit deeper and found a foreign website that I ran through a translator. The translation said: "Eau de parfum for women, which will appeal to fans of persistent oriental, floral, spicy, woody aromas that sound in the same direction as L'Interdit Rouge." This was the validation that I needed. I ordered a bottle of L'Interdit Rouge so fast. I hadn't even smelled the original L'Interdit yet, but I knew that I just had to have it. I have nearly 100 bottles in my collection, but smelling the $15 cheapie dupe of this at TJ Maxx was like putting on Cinderella's slipper. If you know, you know. Love at first whiff, that "where have you been all my life?" feeling whenever you discover a new fragrance. Yeah, I felt that. I eagerly awaited my newly ordered bottle of L'Interdit Rouge. To my absolute joy, it is everything I hoped it would be, and then some. It is a semi-sweet, musky, earthy, woody, and sexy jasmine and tuberose smell. It's a very grown up scent and has this gorgeous fruitiness and spiciness to it that you'll either love or hate. To my nose, this is hands down one of the best fragrances that I've ever tried. In my nearly 100 bottles of fragrances, I'd say that this is definitely in my top 20 or even my top 10. I'd have a hard time narrowing things down in terms of preferences, because my mood changes daily when it comes to scents, but this is just one that I want to get multiple backup bottles of because I love it so much.

Justmeee

Heveanly smell! The best perfume I’ve ever tried.

himeboshi

a hard no from me. I've tried it at sephora and tried to like it for minutes, and sniffed it on my wrist all day but there's something wrong with it. it reminds me of the smell of mothballs but spicier lol. I'm not a fan of warm spicy fragrances maybe that's the issue, maybe it's about me. the one thing I'm sure about is this perfume is definitely not for everyone.

Lorilor

I don't know why it took me so long to try this one but I finally got a sample and I like it. It's so much fruitier than I thought. I swear I can smell cherries too even if it's not listed as a note. The florals really take a step back and you mostly get fruits and spices. So different from the original which makes me happy because the tuberose is too strong in that one. I think I'm gonna get a bigger bottle for sure.

daisybrown

it's giving Yankee candle, wax colored burnt orange, that typical spiced autumn scent, something your 5th grade teacher would pop on the candle warmer in october

SELFCARE_INTROVERT

I LIKE IT! I smelled this for the first time Yesterday. I received a sample from a Friend and I’m most definitely going to get a bottle.

It’s Sweet; Spicy and a bit Sexy. I love the Sweetness from the Fruit mixed with the Florals and I don’t like Florals. Yet, I would definitely recommend to at least give it a try.

Spicadk

Smells like sweet cherry, smells good, but i consider this to be a perfume for men.
Its getting more feminine with time, would smell great on others

Maailman Katselija

The fragrance smells fine, even better than the other L'Interdit perfumes, but its longevity is really bad on myself. Projection? This must be a joke, right? Too bad, I really wanted to like this one.

Mennaa

This is the older sister of Alien Fusion by Mugler, but much spicier. It’s not necessarily bad, but the thing is, I don’t see myself grabbing it while wearing casual or sports clothes. I feel like I have to dress up for this one or maybe it doesn’t suit my age range. It’s def so much different than the og, perhaps should have been a whole different perfume line imo. It lasts so much and projects like crazy tho

glitterary

Florals don’t generally sit well on my skin, but I gave this a try while bored at the airport. It’s darker and less confronting than many florals, with a nice spicy start that mellows into something more powdery. Most floral scents—like the original L’Interdit—are unbearably sharp and old-ladyish on me, but this feels more like a vintage memory than the harsh reality of trying on your grandmother’s perfumes. Ultimately it’s not for me, but if you love florals but they don’t love you back it may be worth trying!

amanda0727

Worst blind buy this year. Opening is nice with the blood orange. Drydown is cheap tuberose and patchouli. Scrubber.

P/S: Ya'll Linterdit stans can downvote to hell. I'll keep posting my honest review 😄

sarahlage

I just smelled this for the first time yesterday and it is super spicy! This would be a perfect scent for chilly fall and winter nights. Definitely not suitable for everyday wear, but still very unique and worth trying! I really liked this! As another commenter said, it smells a bit like spicy root beer. Powerful and bold!

WhiteFlowerPrincess

I can smell the tuberose and the jasmine in this, but I'm getting much more of the jasmine. This is quite different to the other L'interdit flankers, one difference being that the other L'interdit perfumes are much more tuberose heavy.

This perfume also has very strong blood orange and ginger notes in it and it is even stronger than the white floral notes in this, which I consider to be a shame since I love white floral perfumes. I also get a lot of the patchouli unfortunately but only a bit of the sandalwood and none of the vetiver in this. It's not the most artfully blended perfume in my opinion. It's a bit heavy-handed and not delicate.

The sillage and longevity are both moderate, with this perfume lasting about 5 hours on my skin. It's also what I'd call a winter and fall appropriate fragrance for night-time only, since other times of the day and the year it could be a bit overwhelming for some people.

All in all, only a 6/10 for me. It's a bit average smelling. It's a shame, since the bottle is so beautiful.

tiger_eyes_

I finally smelled this one today at Sephora and I was smitten. I kept sniffing my wrist during the day because it was that good. Quite similar to the intense version but sweeter, spicier and more syrupy. The friend I was with loved it as well and said it smells like cinnamon lol. I gotta say I prefer this one over both the original and the intense one. God, I'll have to buy it now.

Lejla Redžepagić

I love this!! It was one of the first presents that I got from my boyfriend. At first I was like “no, this is not for me, it’s too sweet, to syrupy”, but as the time was passing, I started loving it! It’s so feminine, bold, sexy! I feel so powerful wearing it! 10/10 recommendations❤️

sakecat22

I smell like high-end root beer.
Seems to stay that way for the wear time.
I think it's amazing and it makes me happy.
Would not recommend wearing around people who hate root beer.

Stoicchild

Powdery version of the Black one. On my skin I'm getting Patchouli, Sandalwood, Vetiver & Jasmine. Currently I'm wearing it during winter. It's long lasting, lasted the whole day on me. I donno which one I like more, between this and the black one. Givenchy just wants to fuck with my mind and wallet lol I honestly got no Tuberose, maybe it's in the background somewhere.

Beeboss

Absolutely intoxicating.
The first time I smelled it was during summer. I kept coming back to it and eventually bought the 80ml bottle. It's mystery in liquid form. Feminine, bold, both sweet and spicy. It's the first perfume I felt fit my skin perfectly.

Rkzz84

I actually went and bought the largest bottle of this the same day that I tried it. I thought the original edp was my signiture scent until I tried this. It lasts n lasts n lasts. A little sweeter then the original but there’s something about it that drives me crazy and I don’t know what it is I live it so much I just want to drown in it. Don’t find this over powering at all. It is strong and sweet but I prefer my fragrances to pack a punch and this topped everything for me. Powerful yet very elegant and seductive.

Manjusaka

ceeceelee

Stunning bottle, pretty scent. Unfortunately my nose picks up jasmine to the exclusion of other florals. So it was just a spicy white floral, jasmine more dominant than the tuberose for me. It gave me YSL Libre Intense le Parfum vibes, not that they are the same but it gives you the same floral and spice profile. I already own that, so this is redundant. If jasmine is a note that takes over your olfactory sense and your looking for tuberose or you already have a spicy floral, I'd test before buying this one.

Edit: my nieces use this one, so it stays in my perfume closet for the little thieves to "borrow". They love it.

XOXO_marcel

This truly smells exactly like the listed notes. Ginger, rich red blood orange, and tons of tuberose. It is fruity and sweet in a heavy and mature way. This could be overpowering if oversprayed, but it's a good scent.
Ideal winter scent for wearing with a thick fur (or faux fur!) coat.

aflakes

I usually don't wear super warm florals but this one is very nice! I tested it and wore it to work today, and when my coworker hugged me she said, "omg you smell so yummy!" Also, this compliment was given 9 hours after I applied this fragrance. So not only is it a compliment getter, but the longevity is fantastic! Glad I have this sexy gem in my collection!

Chrisandra

I am writing another review for this. Simply because I adore this perfume!
@Bronstet wrote that it is very expensive.
And it is, depending where you are buying it from. Outside Europe, it is more expensive.
That's why I recommend the makeup.uk site, where you can find the 50 ml version on sale for £67 or the Marionnaud.fr site where you can find the 50 ml for 78 euro.
Of course, there could be online discount stores where you can find it at better prices. For example, in my country, there are reputable online stores where you can find the 50 ml size on special offer for around 55 euro.
Somebody wrote below that it is the worst version of the L'Interdit series because it is an immature fragrance. Umm...really?
For me, on skin, paper, hair and clothes, it is amazingly sexy, sweet, slightly spicy, with great projection and longevity.
I also get a cherry note which is not listed in the notes but on me, it appears aprox. 30 minutes after spraying it on my skin.
A very strong vanilla (also not listed in the notes) appears in the drydown.
Not a blind buy, but you can test it in the store on skin, clothes, hair, wait a few hours then you can safely make up your mind.
If you can not afford to splurge on a full bottle, you can try inexpensive but excellent clones made by Arabian companies, such as Prohibit Rouge from Fragrance World or L'Intense Rouge Addiction from Maison Alhambra. Both of these come in 100 ml bottles!
EDIT May 8: 4 days ago, I sprayed this on the lapels of my coat. It still smells very strongly and fills my apartment vestibule where my coat rack is.

fformoso88

Damn this is sexy and sophisticated! I really love this one. I wore it today. Silage and projection are great. I got a lot of compliments on this one. It’s sweet like the original linterdit except for this version has blood orange and is spicier and warmer than the original. Such an amazing fragrance. Definitely for the grown and sexy.

Bronstet

* Complex floral, spicy and woody aroma; the love child of Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb and Dior Pure Poison
* Very strong performance
* Deeper, warmer and more fragrant than the original
* Works as a unisex fragrance; the only one in the line that does
* Beautiful unisex high quality heavy bottle

* Depending on what you like, there are far stronger floral, woody and spicy forward fragrances on the market for both men and women that would be more suitable
* Very expensive
* Undersized 80 ml bottle is more than a bit of a ripoff

Givenchy's L'Interdit Rouge is a warm and rich fragrance with a complex floral, spice and wood aroma. I have yet to come across any other perfume or cologne that mixes all three as well as this one does. It's very much the love child of male oriented Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb and female oriented Dior Pure Poison. Performance is excellent with overall very good longevity, sillage and projection.

Do note that depending on the type of fragrance you like, there are far better and stronger floral, spicy and woody performing products out there. The draw here is the combination, but you could also layer your other colognes or perfumes to achieve the same result as L'Interdit. For example, layering Dior Pure Poison (floral), Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb (spicy) and Bvalgari Man Wood Essence (woody) together would achieve the exact same result. Of course, the cost of those three together would be far more than a single bottle of L'Interdit Rouge.

Despite being marketed as a female perfume, this can actually be used as a unisex fragrance and Givenchy seems very aware of this. The beautiful and heavy bottle is rounded, modern and neutral as is the red color scheme. They appear to have gone out of their way not to feminize this flanker too much. Compare this to Dior's Hypnotic Poison flanker which is also unisex but retains its very feminine marketing scheme.

The major drawback of L'Interdit Rouge is its high cost. Not only does it go for the higher end of designer fragrance prices, the bottle is a mere 80 ml which is more than just a bit of a ripoff. I've only ever found the Spicebomb line (90 ml standard) to be as egregious in cheating the customer and even that line doesn't skim as much as L'Interdit does from the customer. I would recommend looking at one's own collection to see if there are fragrances you could layer to acheive the same result before purchasing. That said, it is a very worthwhile and high quality fragrance on its own if you prefer not to go through the cost and hassle of layering other fragrances.

Nil3

@flyprincess …

Have you smelled it on me ?

LanaDelSlay

sweet, almost almond-y, a bit spicy but powdery, frangipani vibe to me. very warm. suitable for winter. Has major 90s vibes

flyprincess

To previous Reviewers: Absolutely nothing like Samsara in the least whatsoever.

This is a gorgeous modern white floral with a spicy punch. Sexy, clean, fresh, delicate and slightly spiced jasmine-tuberose. (‘Slightly’ to me as I adore super spicy frags; some may find it quite spicy.) Instant love, though I do wish it projected more. First wearing tho.. not done. We’ll see! Definitely spring/summer day-wear friendly. A good choice for shopping or brunch with the girls.

Poudery

I wish I could claim the same as Nil3, since to me Samsara is the love-of-my-life-perfume. ; )
While I agree that L'Interdit bears some resemblance to Samsara in their shared creamy and velvety accords, I personally find it a lot sweeter and somewhat sharper than Samsara. Less powdery and I wanna say not as faceted. There's an airy component in Samsara that I'm missing here. Nice creaminess, but a tad too sweet for everyday wear in my opinion. The sandalwood doesn't strike me to be as soft as in Samsara.

autumnblue914

Honestly love it a lot. I was a bit scared hearing of the spiciness but it's not too spicy.

It's juicy from the blood orange and it is spicy from the ginger, but it doesn't poke the nose. It's just warm, creamy, dark, smooth, sensual tuberose with a very strong character.

Lasts forever on clothing. Absolutely stunning.

Nil3

Ohhhh the sadness 😞
Was sooo looking forward to having the right chemistry with this red velvet gem.

NO blind buy, please be aware.

On me , it was a warm velvety pure sandalwood .
Sandalwood and absolutely nothing else from beginning to end.
For all Samsara lovers : Run and get it 🙂

Chrisandra

I tested this on hair, sweater, skin and paper, and I really liked it. A truly remarkable perfume for those who have the right chemistry with it. I also bought a great Arabian dupe from Fragrance World called Prohibit Rouge. I sprayed my inner arm 2 days ago and it got rubbed off my sweatshirt. I can still smell it on the sleeve as I am writing this now.

Cooling321

This got that same “motor oil” accord that lataffa opulent red has.

SSolstice

I call this ‘dark femininity’ in a bottle, because it is simply just that: Rich, nocturnal and seductive. Lots of blood orange with a softer, addictive dry down. I always reach for her for date nights, but it’s overall such an alluring scent to wear out on cold evenings. Amazing longevity is the cherry on top!

Nika123

This fragrance is so strong! I’m kind of sad that I don’t like it because of the white florals. Something about tuberose and jasmine together makes me sick. I gave it to my mom though, she loves it. I wouldn’t consider it a safe blind buy!

Andreea30

So feminine and elegant!! I find it very different from the og, a spice that makes the smell sexier :) would recommend !

Elsee

Stunningly beautiful! Nothing more to say. :)

Happy Easter everyone.

alisabutov01

A warm, sexy and glamorous smell that makes you melt! After trying The Only One Intense by D&G I didn't think I can fall in love with another creamy smell but this fragrance just tops everything - though I'm a sad that I probably can't wear it now in warm spring and summer weather, since the smell is a bit heavy and full of spices.
Suuuper seductive I love this!
Also going to compare it with Deep Red by Hugo Boss, since this perfume is quite pricey.

Andreea17

The more I wear it, the more I fell in love with it. I never smelled something like this before, I feel like I’m trapped in some spell…this is so intoxicantingly beautiful. Everytime I wear it I receive so many compliments and I think this is my charm for seduction.

Kgrickey

This one breaks my heart that I can’t wear it 😭 I decluttered this because it gave me headaches and made me cough. I smelled it again today in the store and immediately remembered what made me purchase! This is exactly how I want to smell- mature and mysterious. But it doesn’t agree with me

poodleParty

I loooooove this one. It's way better than the original (which I don't like much). It's a mature/deep smell, but it's also very sweet and bubblegum-like. I think the key is to spray it lightly, because otherwise the ginger gets super spicy and I get headaches from it.

I know there are lots of white florals out there, but there's something about this that makes it stand out.

flamingpetalang

I don't know how to describe this. It's suffocating, yet has a certain note that is really nice, I just can't tell what it is. For sure headache inducing, and not a safe blind buy.

Acrelune

I have a love hate relationship with this one.
It smells nice. I love the spiciness, I’m a fan of tuberose, but the fact that L’Interdit, My Way and So Scandal are worn by everyone nowadays kinda repulses me.

I have a bottle of this, I long to wearing it, to me it is a good (not great but good) perfume, elegant, strong and flirty. But I’ll wait a year or two for people to forget about tuberose before I can start wearing it.

7.5/10

Morgenmuffel

I’ve just bought Deep Red by Hugo Boss and it is almost identical to L’Interdit Rouge. I’ve sprayed one on each arm and honestly I can barely tell them apart - especially in the dry down. A bit annoying as Deep Red is a third of the price of Rouge which I bought last year. Both are absolutely divine - warm, sultry, spicy perfection. I do think Rouge is a teeny touch more rounded, deeper and complex. However, if I had the choice today, unless I’d money to burn, I’d opt for Deep Red: Rouge 50ml/78,90€ v DR 90ml/31,40€ (Notino Germany)

suki0101

This has a ver strong wood note more than anything else! The wood note in this smells really weird and unpleasant to me, very synthetic, like warm plastic / intense play dough (not the soft powdery kind like in hypnotic poison). Not at all reminiscent of sandalwood. This smells so dated and mature to me. It's super hyped but I would NOT blind buy this!

Paolavvh

Lmhester

I’m disappointed with this one. After an hour I can barely smell it and the silage is pretty much non existent.
When it opens it smells like tobacco on my skin, it’s probably the ginger, I’m not mad about it as it’s quite pleasant.
If the silage and longevity were stronger I would love it, but for something that disappears so quickly I find it grossly overpriced.

SmellyCat85

I’ve been wanting this for a while now but couldn’t find a sample anywhere so, I just went ahead and bought a 30ml bottle for £45. No regrets. This is absolutely beautiful. A perfect combination of blood orange and sandalwood. I detest patchouli but I genuinely don’t detect it within this perfume.
A small amount will last a long while. Two sprays lasted me over 24 hours.
I can’t really describe it much deeper other than it’s just absolutely gorgeous.

smellslikecoffee

After all the previous mistakes I made, I decided to buy samples and carefully try before I buy.

I sort of like the original l'Interdit. But something seems to be missing.

I didn't expect much of l'Interdit Rouge. But it turns out to be a very pleasant surprise!
It's more edgy. I smell fresh green leaves, which I love.
The dry down is very nice and sweet!! But the freshness remains as well!

I like this one a lot!!!

Stimul

This is a positive review for Rouge!

This is a cheeky smell of kind that used to be modern some 15-20 years ago. As if Givenchy took a frag out of archives. Having this on I felt like a 20 y.o drunkard chick in a night club wearing leopard leggings in the beginning of this millennium. Surviving the first 40-60 min after spraying I could feel an interesting but shy vanilla and even a little cherry showed her cute nose justifying the scent edition in 2021. Overall it has its strengths but I just could not find a time and place in my current life for this and esp. in the forthcoming S/S season. However, I agree, compared to all the fails in frag industry I have recently enjoyed that scent was something memorable and I put a badge on. I understand the hype and it's fully deserved.
Not office friendly if you are in conservative and restrictive culture. It is screaming loud.

lanasmellrey

smells like corn tortillas on me

peasoup

smelled this in a store today before reading the reviews and im certainly glad i did or id be set up for disappointment - powder, doll plastic, bubble gum..?? all deeply beloved scents for sure but absolutely not present in this, at least to my unrefined nose. i recently smelled sandalwood for the first time, have become an incense girl, and that note jumped out at me before i knew what was in it. 100% sweet incense to me.

addictive nonetheless! had to resist an in-store purchase knowing its always cheaper online but ive been smelling it wafting up from my arm all the way home and its like oh my gosh okkk!! i already want you you dont have to oversell yourself!! going crazy sniffing it. was startled by the bright yellow juice when i sprayed it - hoping its okay to use on white clothes? im somewhat of an obnoxious clothing-douser and a stain would be fitting karma tbh but lucky this would suit darker colours anyway ~

SmellyCat101

Rootbeer Float with some tuberose dancing in the backgroung. I get the same root beer scent from Ange ou Demon also by Givenchy and Dior Hypnotic Poison. I have also noticed a close resmeblance to BDK Rouge smoking.

klioux

I had high hopes for this to be a standout designer option: a deeper warm spicy feminine fragrance, a fun date-night scent. Unfortunately it is another boring white floral fragrance with powder and synthetic berry notes. Plastic doll heads, bubble gum, plastic - I'm not sure what the synthetic note really points to, but it's certainly not for me. A perfectly fine scent, but too sweet for my skin and too easily dismissed as another designer cliche of powdery sweet florals

I think I might officially be a niche snob now.

spicyorange

I wanted to love this so badly after seeing all the great reviews but all I get is that plastic doll scent that’s so overpowering. Maybe because it’s hot and humid where I live, so it’s only fair to give it a try in the winter. But right now it’s a no, very headache inducing, and according to my dad, old woman scent 😂

pilardavg

L’Interdit Rouge is without a doubt a flanker that is worth it, similar to the original scent but with personality and something new to offer. This fragrance is a perfect for a night-out, sexy and elegant, but with a sweet touch.

While it does not smell similar, this fragrance is to me Hypnotic Poison’s younger and flirty sister. Hypnotic Poison opens with a sweet apricot, and then we smell an opulent and characteristic vanilla and almond blend. Here, we find the ginger and the blood orange, that give the perfume a recognisable smell and bittersweet touch, that suits a classy night perfectly. Both are suitable for that occasion, I find Hypnotic Poison more mature and grounded, and this one is wild and flirty.

The bottle is gorgeous. The longevity is really good, and also the sillage, I was impressed! I’ve been complimented while wearing this fragrance, a pleasant surprise!

Ruamba

Bubble gum. That's what I get. Too sure about it. But I sprayed it on my clothes and I could still smell it the next day.

massimilianoinquieto

Questo profumo,se così si puo definire,è abbastanza disturbante oltre che assomigliare all'odore di un insetticida spray contro le zanzare.
Non capisco dove sia la sensualità,il proibito o il senso di indossare questo odore.
A mio parere è terrificante.

Abrewer

This one is lovely and as a male it’s my favorite female scent. I find it to be very addictive.

Snifftastic

I'm gonna keep this short and sweet. It smells mildly like a fun-dip stick (the candy)... and I'm not mad at it. I'm happy to have finally slapped this one into my collection.

AchZo

Oh wow! On me this one gave VERY much Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab's beloved halloween classic Samhain. I was not expecting that! Samhain is not my vibe unfortunately but if you like Samhain then L'Interdit Eau de Parfum Rouge might be for you!

adila hamid

love it

greten55

It seems to be a no or a yes for this L´interdet Rouge. For me it is a LOVE! Wearing it every day december and half january. I have been trying different parfumes and get boring, but this one was uplifting, warm, spicy, and maybee a little sexy. Tuberose i not my favorit note, but here it is a soft tuberose.
