Boss Bottled Night by Hugo Boss is a Woody Aromatic fragrance for men. Boss Bottled Night was launched in 2010. Top notes are Lavender and Birch; middle note is Violet; base notes are Woodsy Notes and Musk.

Boss Bottled Night is a new edition by the house of Hugo Boss which hits the shelves in July 2010! The fragrance aims at ambitious young man who realizes his goals and strives for new challenges. Everything is within arm's reach for him, and every goal is possible to be realized.

Boss Bottled Night is an aromatic fragrance which abounds in intense and masculine woody accords. It opens with lavender and birch tree aromas, while accentuating intense heart aromas of African violet, resting on a base constructed of warm, precious woody nuances of Louro Amarelo tree and sensual musk.

The flacon was created to remind us of hot summer night. It is created of midnight blue and black nuances on characteristic glass flacon body (Hugo Boss Bottled – one of bestsellers in the world of fragrances – 60 million flacons sold).

Dark outlines on the flacon promise a seductive, intense and extremely masculine composition. Face of advertising campaign is actor Ryan Reynolds.(cosmoty.de)

nasty asf :(

Matherly

It’s one of those fabric softener colognes like Mont Blanc Individuel

KingKaris

A spicy barber shop fragrance, sweet, sharp, easy to wear.

alpereen

smells like a heavy shaving foam and outdated. not wearable in hot days. projection is weak. not suitable for blind buy. reminds me some market deodorants. nothing special. 4/10 for me

LePianoMan

No, it’s not anything insanely special. For $45/200ml, I wasn’t expecting it to be. The violet is a little synthetic but overall it just smells like a nice body wash, which is not a bad thing. Tired of people saying smelling like body wash is a negative like body wash smells bad or something. This just gives you a very fresh out of the shower vibe but darkened a bit. Very slightly powdery, and the musks are not super present but they’re there.

I’d give it a 6/10. Very middle of the pack perfumery and it’s a solid dumb reach in any month of the year IMO. The slight powderiness of this is what makes it a 6, because it helps smooth out the sharp synthetic violet note in here and makes this much more palatable. Body wash/shower gel with a dark twist.

Edit: coming back to this a month later on 5/13/24, some more thoughts. You do have to go pretty heavy on the sprays with this one for sure. I'm someone who usually sprays a maximum of 6 times for absolutely anything, but this one needs at least 3 sprays per arm (inside of the elbow, middle of the forearm, and inside of the wrist), as well as one on either side of the neck and one at the back of the neck. I think the initial sprays were a bit more chemically because now I'm getting a lot smoother of a formulation. The violet is actually quite nice - smells similar to the violet in fahrenheit, actually - gives off a similar sort of "green"-ness with violet- personally love that because it gives me a nice violet fragrance to wear in the hotter months. It's got a very nice smooth, sweet, clean scent profile like many "body wash" fragrances have, but the violet makes it interesting and adds a bit of sharpness to it. I think I would actually bump this up to a 7/10. I think this is one of those fragrances that does the weird thing where the more time you spend with it, the more interesting it gets and the more you start to like it.

Definitely worth picking up, and basically a no-brainer for the price. Remember, smelling like body wash is NOT a bad thing. Perfumers make a crap ton of money to make body washes smell massively appealing to their customer base. Why would you NOT want to smell like you just stepped out of the shower?

Fragrancengga5

Apart from the average performance, this is one of the best fragrances I've ever smelled. Shit is fucking fire and if I hear some bitch ass guy complain about this shit I will fuck up their bloodline. This bitch gets me infinite compliments and I want to fucking drink that shit.

I am a big fan of the OG Boss Bottled #6. This Boss Night flanker has the origin DNA, but then changes it. Boss Night has a slightly warmer, but mostly softer and more sensual profile. It can come across a little soapy and powdery. The floral gets a bit amplified from the soapy/powdery aspect. I am not a fan of anything really floral or powdery, so the whole thing is a bit too much for me. The OG gets lost in the night (pun intended).

Sosa1x3000

Clean fresh out the shower scent
Smells very good not loud and beastly but sure does turn heads
My only problem with this is the projection and sillage
Scent 8/10
Projection 4/10
Performance 5/10

Bobchan

Clean, fresh, soapy, floral, and masculine smell. Very wearable, and non-pretentious. In winter it fades away fast, it can be too heavy during hot summer days. So I guess its more of a spring/fall, maybe cool summer nights fragrance. I grew to love it and its often my daily choice. Performance is only okay, with projection of around 1-2 hours and longevity of 5 hours on my skin.

Milestone87

I used to have this Perfume back when it was released in 2010. I really liked it because in the backbone it has some kind of the boss bottled dna but this is still nothing like that. I still kind a like it but in a kind of way i dont like it. Because its nothing special in a way. But that dosnt really mean that it doesnt smell pleasant or good, is just they are much better perfumes out there where u should spend your money. Its a kind of shower gel birch smokey scent. its okay, but nothing ground breaking.

coonhound

First Pass - Citrus. A little spice. A little amber

1 Hour Later - Musky. Musty. A little floral. Surprisingly, it’s more astringent now

2 Hours Later - Mostly floral now

Overall - This is a citrusy, woody cologne that quickly blooms into all flowers. If you like floral colognes, but still want the firm masculinity only wood can bring, you might enjoy this one.

For me, Boss simply didn't have a path to victory. I find floral scents feminine and musk overbearing.

Ironically, more musk could have given this the masculinity I felt it lacked in the bouquet of flowers. Of course then I would have objected to the musk... Catch 22

***Scents, like tastes, are subjective. Wear what you like***

BottledByMirko

Very clean, pleasant to the nose scent, it's possible to use it as an office scent all year round. Blind buy safe, only lacking in projection and lenght. For the price it's a nice fragrance to have in your collection.

Jackerco

can be quite weak and a little on the soapy end but its overall a pleasant smell

AmosKruse

Very good violet, lavender and birchwood.
Smells very clean in an "I wear suits for leisure" way.
If this was called Dior Homme Night, people would swear by it.

Afc_Croatian

Received a sample of this and my goodness this is tough to wear.
Maybe it's the heavy violet but to me this smells like air freshener mixed with floor cleaner to the point where I feel like I'm just smelling synthetic chemicals. I washed this off me immediately.

I don't like to write mean reviews and bash a fragrance but I'm sorry this is difficult.

4/10

444Kronik

This was my 2nd fragrance ever. Despite the reviews I really like this fragrance. And the lavender is obvious in it.

Lasts around 8h from my personal experience. Its a solid 7.6/10

Mortarelli

This is good. People in the comments talking about the dry down being bad, but this fragrance isn't that evolved, it's a linear fragrance there is no dry down. It smells the same from when you put it on to when it fades away. It's a classic cologne/after shave smell. Masculin and humble. It's a date night type cologne.

It was one of the first colognes I ever got, along with Lacoste White and A&F Fierce, and for that reason I'll probably always like it. Years later I've gone through many different fragrances, designers and niche, and this one still remains on my shelf as one of my go-to's.

hiisihirous

Weak but masculine

ethan-fragrantica

Boss Bottled Night by Hugo Boss:
One word; violet. Not sure if they are anywhere else in the world but in the UK we have sweets called 'Parma Violets' and the opening is EXACTLY like that, a bottle of liquid parma violets and it stays that way for a good while. It goes without saying that you have to enjoy violet to like this frag and fortunately I do, its not that gasoline-type violet like in Dior Fahrenheit but instead a powdery and sweet version. Good for colder months and evenings, performance is mediocre as is the case with moss HB frags but still a good pickup if you're a fan of violet.

Top notes: Violet, birch, a slight touch of lavender
Middle notes: Violet
Base notes: Violet (more of a background note now), woods, musk

Overall: 4/5

usemame

From the beginning it smells like cheap toilet air freshener with weak woody notes, then it developes and smells like chemical violet with birch and some woody note. Musk note is disappointingly weak.
The smell is really masculine and loud, but the perfume is made so cheaply that it negates all the benefits.

Dimmuburger

Just awful. Maybe it's the violet, but something in the drydown just turns my guts.

Daviako

I am not sure if there was a formulation change, but the bottle I have has the notes listed on the back (which I failed to see until I opened it).

Top Notes: Birch Leaf
Heart Notes: Cardamom
Base Notes: Louro Amarelo Wood, Musky Notes

So thinking that the lavender and violet had been removed/replaced, and saying to myself "Ugh! I have so many $%@&*! fragrances with cardamom that I could scream". When I sprayed it, I got lavender more than the cardamom, While cardamom does have its place, the note tends to overpower the others when in a fragrance, which makes them all smell very similar to my nose. Thankfully, this doesn't come across to me. The dry down gives a linear musky wood scent that stays on the skin for a bit.

A safe fragrance for the fall/winter nights, but in terms of the "wow factor", there's not much there for me.

6/10

izabelavank

has special part in my heart it was so beautiful fell in love with a man who was wearing it as it was leaving such a special aroma. the best male parfume maybe

frags.zen

A very nice, rich mysterious night scent. Have used it for years before becoming more interested in fragrances.

J_TheWombKilla

Expensive artisan laundry soap and fabric softener.

Frank D'Amico from Kick-Ass wears this.

Karperv

hard to like but it is unique and very woody and mysterious you will be walking around smelling like a wizard but it is goof if you like dark not sweet fragrances. 9/10 for the price and the longitivity is really good for an edt.

Tony Shades

@ajibola Good point about the Boss thing, because one doesn't even have to like this brand or the other Boss Bottled fragrances in order to appreciate this one. Fresh leathers lovers would like it regardless.

ajibola

If you’re here thinking about picking this up DO IT! Amazing fragrance I first came across this perfume in London circa 2011 and it still slaps till this day. I’m not a huge boss fragrance lover but this is one of the few everyone should have in their collection. It’s also an EdT so you do what you will with that info.

Ed_Lanz

I am not a big fan of the opening, it comes out a bit too harsh and synthetic for my taste. But once it starts to settle down it’s a very nice fragrance, clean, floral and musky. The violet is the strongest note I can detect, but combined with the woodsy notes and the musk, it doesn’t feel feminine. It works best for the night but it can also be worn during the day, quite versatile for different occasions. It projects decently for a couple hours, then becomes a skin scent and overall has an average duration, around 6 hours on my skin.

I have been colleting niche and designer for years and this is in my top ten favorites to wear

ScentNSent

Picked up a bottle of this not too long ago, despite the hate on this fragrance figured it might be worth the risk just to try it, and I’m glad I did.

It is “somewhat” generic, very masculine leaning, clean, crisp and fresh are what comes to mind. Totally inoffensive and safe to wear & I don’t think this deserves the hate it gets. I’m no fragrance expert by any means, so take it with a grain of salt but I definitely see this being an okay compliment puller if that’s what you’re looking for, the longevity isn’t that bad either 6+ hours on my skin easily (maybe it has to do with certain batches).

Up close on skin I do get somewhat of a plasticy or very synthetic vibe, but it in the air it’s so good, for me it’s a cooler weather fragrance but I feel could be pulled off anytime, I really like it and definitely getting a backup bottle if one comes around for the right price

SeanConnery

My first gateway to parfums, mature scent, when i got the bottle it was extremely potent , over the years the potence waned a bit, but a solid respectful smell when i wanted be noticed up close. I got tired of the type of smell and grown out of it. But i remember fondly the citrus and lavender.

JusttheFactsMan

#221 in my "Tour de Fragrance"

People call this generic, and let's be honest. It kinda is. Armani, Hugo Boss, Issey Miyake. Their scents can overlap to the point where they seem like dupes of each other. This frag, Armani Acqua di Gio, L'Eau d'Issey. Take your pick, all pretty much the same vibe. Personally, I like this Boss frag most of the group. Issey and ADG come across as a bit sour for me and I like the florals in the Boss scent better. At $37 for 100ml it's in the middle of those three in price.

I don't agree with the comparisons to YSL La Nuit. That frag is less floral and woodier, such that it basically smells like pencil shavings after lunch. Don't believe the current high rating. It's been reformulated. The reformulation is not worth double the price of the Boss scent.

Contrary to its name, Boss Bottled Night is a daytime office scent IMO and a respectable one. Carpool, elevators, enclosed office, all safe with this. Utterly inoffensive, masculine, but not overbearing. Like most every EDT, expect to respray at lunchtime. Date night? Not in my current dating pool where vanilla is a must. But I could wear this to the office every day.

lxaxtxi

Way too much woods and violet.

It smells a little plasticky, to me, much like D2 Original Wood does.

I know, it's weird, and hard to describe, but I can't stand such dry woody vibes.

sameenuk

Incredibly interesting flanker for Hugo boss bottled scent. I tend to use the original as a work scent but this is definitely one for date night. And probably my favourite with a violet note. The scent itself is average by itself but if you have the collection, this is where the value is. I'd love a small travel pack of these.

DVDEK

Soapy and crisp fresh and musky scent. Nothing interesting as usual in the boss bottled line

c0nneller

And everything was lovely once again.

Masterpiece

PSILOVEFRAGRANCES

I am really loving this. I've been on a 13-year search for this fragrance, which I detected around 2010 on a flight. To me, the leather/soapy vibe comes from the Birch leaf, and the cool airiness from the cardamom. On the back of the box, the notes are listed as: Birch leaf (top note), Cardamom (middle note), Louro Amarelo Wood, and Musky Notes (bottom notes). I'm not certain where the lavender and violet notes are coming from here, unless these are simply what folks are voting on that they can smell. Or perhaps the box is not listing all of the notes. In any case, this is a very interesting and classy scent to my nose. The leather vibe definitely comes through at first, followed by the cardamom, which is described at phlur.com as: "Cardamom is known for its warm, spicy, and slightly sweet scent profile. Its aroma features crisp notes of camphor, lemon, and mint, with woody and balsamic undertones". I can remember on that flight smelling what I thought was mint, and something slightly sweet. Up close I detected the leather and woods. This is one that will stay in my collection, and I'm so thankful it's still available. Truly masculine and fresh.

Realest Rater 47

Underrated asf, clean masculine scent that is beautiful for the fall weather
unqiue and lasts a long time and cool looking bottle

Cherubina

Who ever wears this. I will follow you

monsieur.moustache

This smells like a cleaned up version of Fahrenheit. Not horrible, but not great. I suppose this could be considered quintessentially mediocre.

5/10

liam04

One of the best representations of the violet leaf I’ve ever smelt. This is a re-review as it’s grown on me sooo much. I can’t stop smelling myself when I have this on, I just wish the performance was better.

Green Forest

Very unique

Tony Shades

Very bright crisp fresh and at the same time rich green aromatic Violet Leaf (not Violet Flower) fragrance. Even though the description says Birch, it is indeed leathery, but not smoky as you would expect. It only has a soft suede-like background leather note. Not to mention that there is very little to no Lavender. The point is, it doesn't smell as the notes breakdown suggests and you need to sample it to see for yourself.
The performance is slightly above average for an EDT and an ordinary spraying routine would be enough in my opinion.

eddie_wsm

In my opinion, this is an amazing perfume for a date night, it's incredible.

This perfume is the perfect mix of the seducer and the manly man while remaining classy.

However what makes it a 9/10 is that it can also be worn at any time of the year, for me it can make a man feel confident and that is quite rare, I recommend it so much for the real ambitious men.
I don't really understand the negative opinions about this fragrance.

zaniers

This fragrance is truly one of my favorites. Smells amazing. Sadly doesn't perform that well atleast to me. If someone knows a very similar or similar fragrance to this but better performing please message me :)

liam04

This scent might just be the epitome of an 'alright' scent. It opens with a lot of violent and lavender but calms into a musky deodorant-type smell.

Although this is labelled as a nighttime scent and people seem to think it's optimal in cooler environment, it lacks the warmth and spiciness of a evening/cool climate scent. I can't understand why people seem to think you can't wear this in the summer or the spring. This will out perform a lot of summer scents for the same price, albeit, is a little heavier than a traditional high heat fragrance. If worn in summer, I would opt for evenings but the Spring would work a treat with this scent. An everyday applier, to the gym, to work, around the house. It's inoffensive and pretty generic.

Sam96438

My favourite blue scent still. It is less juvenile, to my nose, that the ambroxan heavy blues that saturate the market still Zzzzz. I get aquatic whole plant violet i.e leaf and flower, with smoky, tarry woods. A fair bit of musk added in too. It's just sooooo good. Shame about the performance, but it's nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be and I bought my bottle late 2021. You can find the 200ml for a great price too.

Funky_Monk1988

Found this one in the old closet yesterday, from back in the day, together with an OG Hugo Boss Bottled. The OG is still a very good, versatile and kind of timeless scent.
This one is more of a decent freshie to me. I would rock it in the gym, the office too. It gives me deodorant vibes, but with better longevity. Definitely not for dates or going out. It lacks sweetness and loudness.

Edit: Sometimes it's good to have a deodorant kind of freshie, since my girlfriend seems to like this one... Spray it after gym-time and you'll be good to go... or just buy deodorant

ademaria

I have perfumes that I use sparingly because I don't want them to run out. Then I have perfumes that I use sparingly because I'm not a huge fan and I have to keep reminding myself to use them.

Boss Bottled Night falls into the latter category. It is a run-of-the-mill, pleasant night blue fragrance although the lack of performance means you can safely use it in the office confident that nobody will be able to smell you anyway (unless they wrap themselves around you).

The most dominant notes in my 200ml bottle are flowery and lavender. Projection is non-existent and you need to spray clothes to get any sort of performance. I kept it because it was a gift but it doesn't really have anything that makes it stand out - scentwise. The bottle is beautiful but for me, it's not one of those scents that makes you want to sniff the bottle when you aren't wearing it.

Be sure to try before you buy especially if you are looking at the bigger bottles.

Fazh97

A pretty simple and generic scent, but likable. Lavender and violet for most of its life, the violet here is on the floral and slightly sweeter side. Nice peppery woodiness as it dries down. Nothing exciting or memorable, but not a bad scent.

Projection is non existent after 20 mins, lasts around 4 hours.

MikeRauch

I like this one a lot. A simple fresh violet/floral scent. Not very complicated, and not much to write about. Performance isn't good. It lasts about 4 hours, and a skin scent after 5 min. This is good for a post shower pick me up. You can find 200ml bottles for relatively cheap. I wouldn't spend too much on it. I'd say this is one I just enjoy wearing for my own pleasure.

paniikki

Smells like detergent with weak performance. Wouldn't recommend this under any circumstance.

ZacGotSprayed

A strong, impactful night fragrance. It smells like cocktail onions and it lasts for a good while. Personally I would say this is only a night fragrance as it doesn't smell as good during the day as it does at night. Like I mentioned before, the fragrance is really strong and can sometimes be a little harsh on the nose if you overspray. Lovely fragrance to wear out to a dinner!

Brotherhoodofmettle

Saw someone compare this to Dior Fahrenheit and i agree, similar but comparable. If someone told me this was a flanker of that cologne but a cooler night version i would believe it. It's very masculine and dark. Would really only wear this on a night out.

Wacaz

Got it as gift from someone who didn't like it.
It reminds me of Fahrenheit which i liked alot. It is masculine and that is not everyone's cup of tea these days.
If you like sweet and feminine leading fragrances as a male then stay away from this.
Gives some leathery feel alongwith violet to me.
Try before buying.
7.5/10

Spadz97

Very sexy, masculine and powdery fragrance. I find this fragrance to be surprisingly unique as I haven't smelt anything similar to this (although I'm sure there are). A fantastic woody and powdery scent that my wife loves. This fragrance seems extremely underrated and I think you'll be hard pressed to find someone that doesn't like this scent. Performance could be better but I would say this fragrance is more suited for a date night setting so it will last long enough and is fit for purpose. You can pick this fragrance up pretty inexpensively and there are always deals for this so it its not already in your collection, I recommend you pick it up.

khIoe kardashIan

received as a gift its a very nice fresh perfume

ROUSAK

This surprised me, i received it as a gift and I did not expect much but to my surprise I really like it. Fresh natural easy simple fragrance. 7.5/10

realestrater444

Soapy clean in a dark and masculine way. Simple fragrance, its aromatic florals with an earthy woodiness. Smells a bit watery with the violet being the main note in the fragrance, and the woodiness also kind of smells like dark wet wood. As it settles it gets a little musky. Clean masculine fragrance that can be worn day and night, both warm and cold weather, though id say its best for spring and fall. Its safe enough to wear at work. Projection is moderate and longevity is good especially if you spray on clothes. Its nowhere near a youthful playful kind of scent, its just a straightforward masculine everyday fragrance to smell clean, younger people can pull this off but this is more so a 25y/o+ scent.

OHLAWDTOMFAWD

Overall, enjoy the scent. It gets the job done in most situations and is a pretty safe blind reach.

Maybe im crazy, but it reminds me of Tom Ford Costa Azzura? I get this lemon/ginger and slight green kick off of it that I dont see listed anywhere in the notes. That combination reminds me of the TF to the nose, but maybe thats just me.

The violet and woods are well balanced to the lavender and really helps to softly 'darken' the scent. Overall a nice scent that wont disappoint for the value.

BigBobRoss

Damp watery sour sweet aquatic woody scent kinda bubblegummy mix of everything...

Pleasant but nothing spectacular

JupiterMoon

I find myself reaching for this on mild, cool/rainy days. It is a slightly sour, slightly sweet light violet & lavender. It is grounded with the birch, woods and musk, and they too are light. It is not very strong or long-lasting but I like to wear it when I want something nice and not too overwhelming. A good 'purple' scent.

Michel Silencieux

A floral scent balanced by wood notes that steer this into a masculine fragrance. I think this scent could be worn day or night and is open to all seasons. There’s a slight rubbery smell on the dry down that I’m not keen on, but the floral and wood notes manage to keep it under wraps. It’s a fresh good smell. It doesn’t last long on me. After an hour it’s a close skin scent and after 3 hours it really needs another spray to keep it going. It’s smells good on my clothes. A bit soapy, but fresh. I like this, but don’t love it.

Youngkilla3000

Opens up with fresh citrus smells and dries down to a woody-powdery scent. Not necessarily a night fragrance, it's fresh enough to be worn during the day, but definitely not in high heat because that powdery-ness will definitely be cloying. Smells good but for the price, it's not that great of a deal. I got my 40ml size bottle for 25$ so, it's ok. Longevity is 6-7 hours with moderate projection.

Laliqua

Hugo Boss Bottled Night - The dark blue bottle of BOSS Bottled Night eau de toilette, as the name of the fragrance suggests, symbolizes a magical summer night. Mysterious moments, moments when you go to the city for fun after a hard hot day. Everything is within your reach and every wish can come true during a magical night. BOSS Bottled Night is a secret weapon in the fragrance arsenal of the modern man. Elegant, seductive and extremely masculine.

In the woody-aromatic toilet water, you will find only a few fragrant components, but they will attack your olfactory cells all the more intensively. Violet and lavender combine with the scent of birch and the scent of other woods, among which the rare South American wood Louro Amarelo stands out. Apply this toilette on special occasions and enjoy its amazingly long lasting.

Terrible performance. The smell is neither good or bad, but it's versatile. The only scenario I would buy it is if I got bored of everything else, then I would wear it for some time so I would get excited to wear something actually good again.

hadris

good smell, just very very weak on my skin!Or i have fake?Dont know 🧐

Jk015

The only scent you’ll only need!

Trust me this is a delicious sexy warm cozy scent.
Women love it. Absolute no brainer guys. Forget sauvage, Eros and bleu de Chanel, this blows all of them out the water. Falls into the same category as the others though, you can wear this any time any place.

If you’re looking for a signature scent look no further. It’s so unique, you’ll turn every head in the room. And best thing of all, it’s cheap!!!

You’re welcome guys. Thank me later.

So the last fragrance I purchased was Grey Flannel, and now smelling Bottled Night, I can tell you it is a direct descendant of Grey Flannel. But this is much more office safe than GF, as well as more masculine and modern. GF makes me think of a dewy, damp flower garden, while this might be better suited to summer and drier conditions. It is appropriate for evening, yet it is not an especially seductive fragrance. A well-executed violet bomb. I do recommend checking it out.

dsgnmind

I write my reviews for my own future reference.

I get the profile, and was looking forward to the combination of notes, but it just isn't there in terms of personality. It opened fairly generic, with a slight cologne alcohol and musky scent. I didn't get any apparent floral notes till after it dried down. I really wish the lavender and violet and musk notes where more prominent, distinguished, and blending to make a clear statement without overdoing it. There is a moment as it dries down I was able to smell a violet note, but after a while all I get is a slightly musky, powdery, a tiny soapy vibe. Maybe my expectations are skewed from sampling two dozen luxury fragrances in the last few weeks, but now reading others reviews of this fragrance I feel my experience is echoing many of their woes about this version of bottled.

Ryanmmas26

Such a solid scent this is !! Not exactly in my top 5 but one I always come back to and will always have in my collection!!!

At first spray it is pleasant but also cheap smelling. In the opening it has a cheap sports fragrance and Axe body spray vibe as it’s citrusy, synthetic and musky.

However as it dries down the synthetic murkiness dissipates and the lavender and violets come out while still having the shower gel vibe but the birch in the background rounds this out making this a step above smelling cheap !

The heart is nice but the drydown is where it’s at in this fragrance so to truly experience this fragrance you can’t judge it by its opening. The drydown is pretty much the same as the heart except the birch becomes less pronounced and the violet becomes the star and actually becomes more airy and watery while the birch still gives it a sexy, masculine and even professional smelling vibe !! This really shines when your walking and this heats up and you get lovely smells of violet !!! It’s gotten compliments as well

Performance- this is no slouch as it lasts 6-10 hours on my skin and has average projection which makes it great for work environments

Overall rating-8 out of 10 !! Very solid scent with good performance but it’s still not an all time favorite

My scent when I was in college (2010). Had no idea on batch formulations. When I had the original formulation, it's somehow potent. I love the smell of this perfume. IMO, this is the best Boss Bottled scent in the Boss Bottled line. For me, it's unique though some Axe body sprays smell also like this, the only difference is this one stays longer on you. Using it in high heat, as with my case, living in a tropical country, all I can say, this one smells awesome. Even after 6hours, I could still smell it. After 12 years, my brother bought this one again since he knew that I love this one. I got disappointed for it's no longer the same as before. It's totally watered down. The smell is definitely the same but longevity sucks big time. What a bummer! But happily enough to have this one again in my collection.

Ggrisu

Mixed feelings. Too much floral notes for my taste and there is a little bit old school vibe. Hard to find good situation for this - too boring for clubs/bars. Maybe for dinner.
I will try it again in spring when the temperature raises.

Spendthrift

This one doesn’t sit well on me.
The violet and sour opening stays strong through the top, middle and base.
I’m not averse to violet, but it’s not the best violet based fragrance I own. I imagine the sour note is the birch?
For me there’s no pleasure in wearing it. Goes straight in the bottom storage box

steezy1k

Bought this at a warehouse sale for around $25. I really enjoy it, it’s great for an evening in spring/summer imo. The notes are pretty minimal, but it works great. Not the biggest fan of the violet opening but the dry down is amazing. Only complaint is that the performance is pretty bad, projects for like 2 hours max on my skin, a bit longer on clothes though.

Carla_Louise

Opening notes are smooth and warming perfect for a winters evening though the lavender seems to turn sharp turning the fragrance cold nearing the end of the top note. This is where it seems to turn into the perfect shower gel and not fragrance. The dry down is better but not by much, this fragrance could have been so much more especially if there was more emphasis on the lavender and violet notes.

Shadow_Slammer

Boss Bottled Night is a sleeper. This is a fantastic date night fragrance and one of my most complemented. The violet and powdery lavender work very well together with woody notes. I would take this instead of some of the popular bleu fragrances.

M!KE

Got a bottle with the remaining 10 ml as I never smelled that before, it was hard to find in the place I live. Due to the fact, everybody express their disappointment with HBBN I thought - the challenge was accepted! After a week or two, all I can say is that I see why people keep bashing it, but it is more because of the marketing of the product, not the product itself.

After the initial spray all we have is an alcohol blast mixed with shower gel lavender. That is nowhere near the natural lavender, it is a more polished, an artificial profile without rough and aromatic edges of the flower.
If anybody expected notes from original Bottled being played in a more "noir" manner here is your first red flag - that is a completely different product. When that alco-haze is gone scent becomes spicier probably due to leathery birch. From there it harmoniously joins middle notes - violet and cardamom what all together creates a pleasant Fahrenheit-a-like aroma. Worth mentioning that cardamom here is not sweet (a la YSL's one) or spicy-sharp (a la Cartier) - it is mild spicy green background for that birch-violet-woods trio. The trio is pleasant and it gives the suede-a-like impression. The base is being introduced about 2 hours after initial spray with faint woody notes (claimed to be louro amarelo) and dry-pale-musk. Here is when the fragrance becomes a bit dusty and lifeless and you simply know it is pure chemical substances. Woody notes smell no different to an ordinary bench in your park and musk is so sterile depicting still life, that even cheap sweetened white musk from the body shop smells better on that aspect.

However all of those make Hugo Boss Bottled Night good for your office scent - it has elements of well-known fragrances, it behaves well in air conditioning environments and it won't offend anybody due to its limited projection/sillage. Calling the composition "noir" is nothing more than a marketing gimmick, and paying full price for a product with that quality should be illegal. If you are after subtle, shower gel aroma extension that can be worn all year round it may be your shot, otherwise, stay away. Here also golden rule applies - if worn by the right person in the right setting and right clothing may work wonders.

PS. If Woody Aromatic is your thing, check Lalique Encre Noire (though more woody-smoky and more niche), Chanel Bleu de Chanel (for more fresh and spicy aspects) or Armani Eau de Cedre (for more suede experience).

AliH2002

Very weird thing with this fragrant very floral and pleasing while staying Masculine enough but problem is the performance that disappears after 3 hours. But when u over spray so around 10-14 sprays it lasts ages but turns into this sour and nearly sickly BR540 scent, turns a tad feminine but the performance becomes beast mode. I got atleast 10+ hrs and is still projecting on my clothes a whole day after. Don't know what to think of it really but not a bad scent but overall 6.5/10

Maschka

This is my stepfathers scent for many years and I find it to be the best men’s marketed designer scent. It’s very soft and round and gentle and interestingly fresh, I don’t get anything harsh or sour at all!

Fashionplatefanny

This is too sharp and sour, smells like some sporty lynx deodorant for the first 30 minutes. Really disappointed but if you can get through that opening segment it will dry down to a more tolerable softer, cooler, feeling fragrance. That sour undertone doesn’t go away though. It reminds me of carbon paper or the smell of ink. Which fits the colour of the bottle.
This could be unisex although it leans a little masculine but overall it’s quite floral for a male fragrance. It dries down to a lovely powdery, cool violet. Longevity is above average , it lasts all day.
This is a winter fragrance. Or maybe for nights on a cooler summer evening. Would be too cloying in the heat of a summer day though. Love the colour of the bottle and the glass is nice quality.

jasontallwood

This would have been a much bigger hit if it was much stronger and louder which I would totally love an extreme, intense or EDP flanker of this in the future. I got to try this at a family members house and after 2 hours of wearing this I smelled my shirt collar to see if I could even find traces of it, mind you I went pretty heavy on the trigger with about 5 sprays and chances are it's a bottle from around 2010 and nope. Couldn't find any remnants of it. I ended up spraying something else on over this fragrance. The price point on this fragrance from discounters isn't horrible at all as you can do far worst for $49.99 in Canada.

abahvdbs nailed it with his description.

if you're into scents similar to the original Dior Fahrenheit but want something "cooler" and by cooler I mean the opposite to a warm scent and less pungent, possibly easier to wear this is for you. Age group this can be a great first real fragrance that doesn't come out of a body spray tin yet someone in their 30s could possibly pull this off. This is something great for offices and that sort of thing as it's quite easy to wear as long as there's no suits and ties or you want something to go clubbing or have an intimate moment I'd be afraid this would fade away so you'd have to do a few sprays before an inmate moment unless you're Ron Jeremy and 2 hours is like 2 seconds. On clothing this did last over 12 hours so I can agree with that.

If I was to design the bottle I'd make it a black to very dark purple gradient instead as I don't think putting this in a blue bottle does it justice as this is not a blue de chanel, dylan blue or one of the 9999 dior sauvage clones out there.

the scent is great, the bottle looks good, just terrible, terrible longevity.

abahvdbs

Boss Bottled Night is LIGHT/AIRY FRESH CLEAN MODERATELY SWEET SLIGHTLY FLORAL

smells like luxury grape soap, has a sophistication to it; similar scent profile to Armani Code Colonia, both being fresh-clean-sweet and somewhat synthetic, but not 1 to 1, Boss Bottled Night is slightly darker and more soapy-clean whereas Code Colonia is linen-clean and is more bold/loud;
really fresh & clean especially for a "night" frag, but it does have a little sweetness to it to gear it towards night-time, fresh enough to be worn day, or night, very versatile can be worn any season;

Projection/Sillage' is OK, detectable within arms length for the first hour or so then becomes in-close scent mostly (all the notes aren't loud)

Performance/Longevity is DECENT, last 5-6 hours on fabric

mr_iyer

One of the early perfumes I have used, and I have got compliments every time. Boss perfumes are my favorites, and I was quite surprised to see not among the top perfumes. Boss Bottled has been my all-time favorites, and I have always had one bottle, and I never run out of BB.

It stays long for me, and I have got compliments even in a nightclub with all the crowd. In fact, a funny story, I was in an elevator with a lady, and she actually closed her eyes and smelled it. It was so obvious. I know it sounds straight out of a movie, but it did happen :)

rhogas114

this smells so good, unfortunately, it doesnt even last 2 hours

Fragrance360

Perfectly done, the one I reach for the most in my 200 bottle collection.

Vikkinca

Is violet meant to be this masculine?

Boss Bottled Night is my favourite of all Boss fragrances because it is quite a departure from the usual formula where a crisp apple seems to be a dominant top note. This one is the most masculine, and I find it incredible how a floral note like violet can be so manly. Classic in its scent profile. The far dry-down is the best part, where the musk comes to the fore. Violet and musk with some woods. It really makes for a good, well-blended, signature scent worthy fragrance.

Sam96438

Almost like Dior Fahrenheit's more reserved, younger brother

07stewartD

One of my first fragrances and as a fan of Hugo scents I’d recommend this one. It’s a pleasant musky lavender but it doesn’t come across as too aromatic or floral. It’s masculine and, as the name suggests, great for night time. It pulls in compliments and lasts really well. Slightly overpriced though, try and find it at reduced price.

Scent: 8/10
Projection: 8/10
Longevity: 8/10
Versatility: 7/10
Price: 6/10

Overall: 7.4/10

damaz-ndiaye

I would describe this scent as aromatic / flowery with a lot of violet, and musk in the dry-down, could be almost mistaken for a unisex fragrance, but the combination of musk and violet makes it very masculine in its essence. Smells luxurious, and is a very good signature scent, and I think it can be pulled off year round, I think you have to catch the right whiff of it to really appreciate the vibe it has. I think this could give something like Eau sauvage a run for its money.

Pavlos St

One of my best fragrances in my entire collection. It is a clean & fresh scent with a violet vibe. Compliment getter, long lasting and projects nicely. Recommended for summer night outs or overall for spring and fall.

imaboss

When i bought it first , i really liked it . It was really deep heavy blue fragnance . The girls said the bedding smelt for it for days.... these was when it was realeased , about then years ago. I bought it again before a year and i was disapointed.

Gsidedgdb

Seductive, masculine and quite unique. Long lasting on me with moderate projection for the first few hours. Solid release from the boss bottled line. Definitely worth picking up.

Sophiaalexa

My ex used to wear this. I bought it for him as he used to wear Old Spice which I hated.
I remember this just smelling like a bottle of hot $ex! Excuse my wording. But it was gorgeous. So nice. I think for any man aged 20-45, this is like a man in a suit smell. I highly recommend.

KsatriaIngusan

Long time ago, around 1997 as I remember, there was haircream named brylcream, the packaging is blue plastic cup. This boss bottled smells exactly like it.

This is quite versatile, wear this at anytime anywhere any occasion.

I think that's the only good point on this fragrance. With the price offered, there are many better options

Eugeneloo1128

Sour opening...

After ten minutes, the violet, birch and lavender blend perfectly and create a mass appealing scent that smells fresh and leisure. It is definitely a nice woody floral fragrance that suitable for night leisure time and office wear.

The scent is not complex, but a little unique in the fragrance game.

Likeswhisky

Great night time fragrance. The opening can be a bit harsh, but it settles down nicely and has a very nice mysterious vibe about it. I find that it really is at it's best at night and on my skin in the lower temps in the evening it lasts a decently long time.

Scubasteve84

Another Hugo Boss fragrance that suffers from a lack of projection and longevity. That being said it is a nice scent, and if it could go the distance it would be up there with some of my favourites. I have the same problem with boss bottled, bottled tonic, and hugo energise - I love what I smell but it just doesn't last as long on my skin as I would like. Boss bottled night kicks off with a fresh, marine shower gel-like slightly synthetic punch. Lavender and powdery musk start to come through after the top notes die down and from there it holds it's notes for around 2 hours until it fades to a barely detectable woody violet musk. Its uncomplicated and fresh, but if you want to make a statement this is not the juice. I think I will use this for work in the warmer weather and that's about it. I can't think of any other time I would choose to wear this, least not on a "night out" cause it just isn't that type of fragrance despite the name.

tessture

Nicely tarry birch with dry wood. Can't smell violets or musk, but it's a fairly complex blend that still manages to remind me of salt water on the deck of a sailing ship. Of course I try everything twice and the second try I got none of that. Instead, it's Coast soap or possibly Irish Spring. Bright, soapy clean greenish. I like it, but it smells exactly like men’s soap, so it's not unisex enough for me to wear it in public. Might sniff if just for my and my husband though.

johnjubal1958

I've had to completely re-edit my review because I've had to do a 180 degree turn. In my previous review I was not very supportive of this one. After about a month I decided to gave it another try. To my surprise I found Hugo Boss Night a very plesant fragrance indeed. If fact I've started using it a lot because I really do appreciate this scent. It smells really good and I'm getting 7hrs+ longevity from it. Projection isn't that great around arms length which is typically Hugo boss, but in one month it has stepped up in quality. I assume my nose has adjusted to it and now I really enjoy wearing it. I would go as far to say this is a 8 out of 10 for me👌. What a difference a month's makes 😁!

Invasionbg

Very pleased with the smell of this one. It last 5-6 hours and have a great projection. It is very rare when I can feel the fragrance all the time when is on me.
Highly recommend it, especially for people who just started their journey in fragrances, or for those of you who like to use one frag for any occasion.
This one super versatile, very easy to wear, not offending at all and people like it. (My opinion - this one could be a bit too much in summer)

Not suitable for more developed noses 😁
The scent doesn't evolves too much through out the dry down so it's pretty linear

Great price proposition, as I bought 200ml for £42.50.

As a conclusion I can say:
Good thing about it:
You get a nice, decent frag in a good price. Good for every occasion and season, except summer.
5-6 hours longevity with great projection. Crowd pleaser.
Downsides:
Not unique, I don't think it works well in high temperature, not the best longevity.

Siljemariyeah

Review from a woman here. Probably biased, but I'll try my best not to be..

My boyfriend used this perfume when we started dating and I always thought that it was his laundry detergent or his body wash lingering that smelled so good and slightly naturally masculine. (He has had the two same perfume bottles now for six years 😂 Opposites attract I guess..)
Turns out it was a few spritzes of this on his t-shirt.
It's a clean and comforting scent. Like you're not trying very hard. Not overly manly or cologney.
My knowledge of men's perfume is very small but I thought it was slightly different from the very woody or very sporty/citrusy/aquatic stuff I had smelt on other men. It's different but not at the same time. Nothing groundbreaking, but maybe that's why I enjoyed it so much; essy to like and cosy clean, powdery, relaxed.

bluntman

Pretty decent fragrance. Most on the market right now are made up of either citrus or powdery scents. This is different.

A basic spray can last a while though you will need to double spray for it to be detected by another. Even still, it does the job for a moderate price.

Damascius

Smells like the best hypothetical Axe Body Spray, the ideal transcendental form of Axe, as in: this is the best and most masculine that Axe could ever hope to smell like. But it's still Axe you know, and that itself has a stigma. Even if there's nothing wrong with this smell in and of itself, I wouldn't spray more than 3 sprays and only wear it casually and I'd never flirt wearing this since I haven't used Axe for 10 years.

Abdulkareem

one of my favorite of all time، Fresh smell

asgeirn

what @Jay Pee said.

JayPee

This has been in my stable for years. Ive owned many of scents. If i pick one go to scent for the night life, during the spring and fall and early winter months, it's this one.

Masculine. Mysterious. Soothing. its profile captures everything you need to attract others to you without being overbearing and without dissipating quickly.

Highly recommend for anyone. especially someone that needs an every evening wear. for the price. unbeatable.

HammerDownRollIn

I’ve owned this. I don’t know if it’s the violet or the birch, but it smells like heavily scented men’s body wash, full stop. It’s truly a cheap smell.

If you must get a cologne with this type of smell, check out Gucci Guilty Black, or Dark, whatever it’s called.

On a Safe Scale of 1-10 this is a 4.5.

Oleo

This fragrance is one of my daily favorites... And I'm tired of reading unsustainable nonsense about it, criticized for exactly the same reasons that praise others.

Boss Bottled Night is simply one of the best of its kind, and probably the most personal of them all (talking about fragrances with "shower gel & clean" vibe).

Yes, this juice has all this and much more: BBN emanates a kind of mist around you, evoking a mysterious but neat cloud, decidedly charming and ideally nocturnal.

Longevity and projection are slightly above average and it's suitable for many occasions; definitely a perfect fragrance for business men and the office... But it shines when it shines: From dusk.

It has all the magic necessary to shine at night: The sharp and daring violet that cuts through the atmosphere and demands attention, an aura of mystery and neatness and its seductive musk that brings warmth and invites proximity.

Boss Bottled Night is the perfect scent for an executive stuck in a relaxed meeting after hours or who goes out for a drink at night with his colleagues after work:

Put a flawless young businessman in a modern dark suit; add a nice smile, a dusk, an attitude and a good setting...

That's Boss Bottled Night.

I got to smell this stuff today and I got to say, being an owner of the original vanilla launch of Hugo boss bottled and some of its other flankers, this one is a clear winner. It has a unique blend of some mild sweetness and warmth from the musk. It’s unlike some of the it’s other flankers and in my opinion is quite original. It’s now on my hit list of colognes to get at discounters. I can’t speak to the longevity but the smell is a classic to me. It smells of quality and I’m glad to see Hugo Boss is still putting out gems after all of these years. A solid purchase in my books.

TrephineArtist

This is one of the flankers which is very different to the original and could have been a standalone fragrance, of course that way it wouldn't benefit from the tried and tested 'Boss Bottled' name and fame.

Boss Bottled Night isn't my cup of tea or rather tasse tee, however I think it's definitely worth checking out for those who like violet and leather based scents, without too much sweetness.

Egyptos

A nice blend from Hugo Boss non irritant and settles moderately, moderate sillage and suitable for fresh summer and fall nights.

zulle298

a bit harsh at first note.
newbie in the perfume game!

however, the smell settles quite alright throughout the evening afterwards. it sticks for up to 6 hrs i reckon!

AJ2018

Did not like at first because of the violet note, but wearing other violet fragrances has made me come around to this. To me it gives the vibe of a freshly ironed dress shirt. I like it for the office because I get low projection but it lasts pretty much the whole day.

PolishRose

Having said that Daisy would likely be the only perfume I would review having not worn it, I find myself here, in the masculine section. Bottled Night is my husband's signature. He was wearing it when we met and, consequently, it is associated with very good memories.

Shortly after we started dating I sprayed a smelling strip at John Lewis and took it to my Guerlain mentor for analysis. He had just one thing to say: "Straight male". Not wrong.

KKHHK

Blind bought this today and it is mehhh.
Nothing special.
Nose piercing.
Headache inducing.
Cheap smelling.
Very disappointing.
that's all

persianeagle

A soapy fresh out of the shower. I personally think its suited for a summer/fall night. It wont blow your socks away but you'll smell fresh atleast. Its one of those crowd pleaser scents.

fragranticopsy

I smell incense in the mix??, no idea, but it is so harsh and piercing to my taste. I wish it comes without that note, It would have been a nice perfume...

FreddyK

Very nice soapy fragrance. Not my taste because of that soapy smell. But after all it is very nice.

Coxy97_wc

One of my first scents I loved incredibly versatile in my opinion can be worn anytime any weather

Seen some say longevity is gash but this lasts forever on my skin
Will always be in my collection

8/10

L8smelly

A blinded buy, The scent however is okay and very linear no real depth to it. That being said, the smell reminds me of lavender scented cleaning products. Nothing wrong with that, again I never really noticed anything other then the violet or lavender. Not a bad scent not for anybody that's for sure. Surprisingly I thought it would smell less masculine, I'm sure it due to the other ingredients that I can't pin point.

Happy Turtle

Smells cheap, like a lynx/axe body spray or something a teenager would wear. It's ok. Wouldn't buy it personally but would be decent to wear at night. I imagine someone who isn't into fragrances wearing this and smelling 'good'. But someone who doesn't care about notes or what's in a fragrance and probably received it as a gift. A 'Like' from me but in 2020 I only f*ck with scents I love so I'll pass on this

Geo_Aroma

I recently blind buy that one cause I found it in super discount it so I test many times and try to like it.. But I don't! It smells like body spray totally old fashioned.. In my nose has that sour vibe that Dior sauvage who also I don't like has.. I bought on gift set with deo stick and the deo stick is great! And for sure not for night like the name says it's not seductive at all! It must called sport!

renzo

hey Happiness !

Something similar is in my opinion Carven pour homme, something softer is Burberry touch for men...
If I don't mistake, he loves violet, so Eau Concentreé de Cartier would be great too, and unisex :-)

kind regards

Happiness_in_a_Bottle

Hey, fellow Fragranticians! :) Someone please tell me what is so special about this pefume. My husband likes it a lot and saves it for nights out and othe s pecial occasions. (he is a Hugo Boss perfumes fan), but to me it smells linear, very dry, I get no complexity.

I would like to gift him other fragrances for his birthday, for Christmas etc., but I really don't know what I could choose. He likes woodsy fragrances, but is really hard to please when it comes to perfumes. What would you suggest as fragrant gifts for a man who likes Boss Bottled Night?

Thanks for your help!

johnpatrickcastro35

A good night fragrance that's really it

RIVERAEDGE

Very linear scent, but it's quite pleasant and quite unique in a way, definitely not new DNA but it's a sharp woody dark floral scent that reminds me of poison. A good smelling poison. I pick up a lot of the birch leaves and floral notes, it isn't powdery as some people say it is.

There is some kind of fruit in this scent, but it's a very weak lacking fruit, maybe apple? or blackcurrant? it is not listed in the note breakdown but I'm picking up hints of some kinda fruit.

Longevity wise it lasts quite a long time but isn't anything superb. projection is also kinda weak on this one unless you're in a confined space or close to your subjects.

Quite a versatile scent, overall it is not a bad fragrance and not a groundbreaking one either, you might get bored from this really quick, but its well made none the less

Plogic

This frag is just too piercing for me to enjoy. It’s like the sensation of inhaling Vick’s vaporub (but smells nothing like Vick’s). This sits among my other 30 frags and there never seems to be an occasion where I want to wear it.

vola_cea

I bought this back in high school for a date with my first girlfriend, so it has a special place for me. The initial blast is unpleasant, but it quickly dries down into a sparkly accord of lavender, violet, and wood. The performance is great for an inexpensive EDT.

Not very complex, but completely inoffensive for something that smells incredible to people of all ages. I personally feel this is completely overlooked and underrated when it comes to violet fragrances and "compliment getters".

Ryanmmas26

This fragrance isn’t a favorite of mine but it’s fragrance I do really like and will always be in my collection !

Boss bottled Night is fairly linear but it opens up slightly citrusy with a very prominent violet note that overall comes off smelling clean and very shower gel like. As this dries down the lavender comes into play making this more smooth and the birch(which is very nice) also comes in giving this a nice woody base. However, throughout the life of the fragrance the violet is always the main player. Very nice out of the shower, sporty scent with nice woods.

Performance on this is good ! It lasts me 8-12 hours but only has moderate projection! Lasting power really surprised me.

Overall rating-7.5 out of 10 ! Great scent but unfortunately it’s good but not great as it’s kind of nothing special but solid none the less.

Ellej32

I think this fragrance is okay and I’ve had it for years but smelling it fresh from my hand now I can’t help but think it’s typical and non lasting. On the off chance people did smell it they said it was shower gel / deodorant like. I personally wouldn’t mind smelling this but I just don’t think it’s strong enough

ameymurur

I received this as a gift from someone who went for for an overseas trip. I'd say that this perfume is very average, nothing about this will blow you away or stay in your memory for too long, it's just a classic men's perfume which is meant to be worn from time to time. Longevity and Sillage are just about average. As for the fragrance itself, it smells like aftershave/talcum powder.

Overall: 5/10

SmellyPanda

This was one of the first fragrances I bought when I was a teenager and I remember they marketed this a lot.

It smells very fresh, almost citrusy in the beginning, but it smells quite soapy and articial at the same time. When it dries down the artificial smell goes away and the lavender with the violets become very pronounced mixed with the birch. You can smell musk ever so slightly but not enough to give you a head ache.

Perfomrnace is actually quite good compared to other Hugo Boss fragrances. It lasts me the entire evening.

Overall its a very realistic summer night smell of central Europe/Germany, and a good spring, summer, fall evening dumb reach cologne, won't offend or impress anyone just keep you smelling fresh.

I wouldn't pay anything over $25 for it though.

marcio.moniz

This was reformulated, because the notes on the box are different from here.

Top notes: birch leaf
Heart notes: cardamom
Base notes: louro Amarelo wood and musky notes.

I don't know if it smells like the old version but I won't blind buy it!

verboven

Much to powdery for me.
Between shampoo en Deo smell.
Don't spray to much.
I will never buy this one again.

Filosykos

This was a blind buy.
I have to say it's a great fragrance.
It's basically a in your face musk.
Didn't expect something like this from Hugo Boss to be honest. This sure isn't a gourmand type scent. At first you think it's a cheap body spray cologne... How wrong I was..
It just gets better and better after two hours
Definitely a night time dress scent and is great on a hot summer night.
Very sexy

Got my hands on a cheap vintage bottle from 2010 for a good price. I like it. It does what it says it is....it reminds me of a starry, dark midnight sky over a deserted city street. This smells like plums. Fruity, fresh and mysterious.

Gentle-Scent

Nice and strong but not the best, actually it doesn't smell like expensive fragrance, it's smell like a body spray or deodorant.
Just zesty and fresh.

Pawly

I got it fairly cheap, so I don‘t really care about it.
When I first smelled it in a store, I hated it. Tried again, liked it. Bought it, loved it. Then I got sick of it pretty fast.
Boss Night is just incredibly strong. If I had to recommend it for an occasion, it would be a long party night where everybody smells different and everything is just loud. This one is so overpowering, it‘ll last through the entire night, the day after and then another day. It‘s ridiculously strong, and not just in a good way.
Two sprays will totally do it‘s job. And while the opening is just awful, it transforms into a nice, sexy and masculine smell. It truly represents the night.
However, I don‘t feel like it‘s as classy as other boss perfumes. It‘s very straight forward and smacks you in the face with it‘s overpowering smell.
It smells kind of cheap but then again.. it is. I wouldn‘t spend too much on a bottle.

JGeorge

As the name indicates this suites for late night parties as the smell is very light and mild.

piedeatleta

Fresh, clean, masculine and a bit sexy.

It doesn't have a great start. But then it keeps getting better, and its scent never degrades. So to me it's not a "like" but a "love".

Longenvity and sillage are moderate, but adequate for an EDT of this price range. Hey, I got the 200ml bottle for less than 50 usd, I can spray again without guilt.

I think it can perform on any season. And despite its name, I used it more often during the day.

If you like to experiment, try mixing it with a bit of JPG Le Male, or some other sweet fragrance.

ledlight

I think this is the worst of the worst performance that one fragrance can have,,I was lucky that this one was free reward for me and now i understand why they giving for free because is rubbish...What else can expect from boss then low projection fragrances

Scent 3/10
Longevity -1/10
Sillage 0/10
Projection 0/10

RobbieX

A really nice soapy and fruity perfume. Longevity and silage are good. Bottled Night is pleasant, sweet and fresh - love it.

2SEXY4THISTOWN

I love this cologne, perfect for cool nights. It's dark and seductive and sexy. Long-lasting, too. It reminds me of Sean John Unforgivable. Lavender and woods. It's strong, so go easy on the trigger. 9/10.

Ray The Juiceman

Very nice scent for more formal or reserved situations. I don’t do musk/wood/floral/powder heavy. Usually sweet/light/clean/fruity. But I like this one. It’s got stuff going on. Not just a lumber yard. Or Johnson and Johnson. It’s darker but still clean. Sometimes you want that fresh out the shower.. clean shave smell. And this ain’t no barbasol. Great juice.

rjf

Fake and fruity. No.

mrtinc

Sexy, Simple, finally my wife loves it on me.
*My wife has 20+ perfumes, so i trust her nose.

GRAF

Nice, safe and versatile mild violet/lavender scent. The only negative is its performance (and the vibe from it is quite generic).. this is a low-moderate one. Moderate to weak in fact.

Oskaaar

Lasts the whole day on my skin. Direct after spraying will smell like a chap aftershave or a bodyspray. When some time passes you will smell the violet.

If you find it on sale 40 dollars/100ml then its worth the buy.

7/10

VMN5

I give it a 5/5, it's very different to many other mass produced fragrances like 1 million etc. For me it's one of those scents you want your boyfriend/ lover to wear :+)

VexedRomance

Boss Bottled Night is a deep aromatic musk. I would say the title for this fragrance was a throwback to Arabian Nights, because Boss Bottled Night has a very deep, musky Arabian aromatic scent to it. It's nothing like the original Boss Bottled—you couldn't even call it a flanker.

The musk is very bold and stingy, and puts a constant flare on the sense that's pretty intense. If I had to rationalize the style here, I would say that Bottle Bottled Night is Old World in the worst possible way. I can truly picture some modern young Arab referring to this as an grandpa scent. That's exactly how it projects to me—it's very dark and vintage.

Really a surprise to me, as I was hoping for some kind of deep, aromatic Polo Black-style club scent. Oh well—I guess. Try it for yourself if you'd like, but you're definitely not going to enjoy this one unless you're into vulgar musky scents.

biff2

This is a strange one for me. There's something I love about it that keeps me coming back for more, possibly the birch. However the overall scent just feels like its missing something, to me it's a more of a glorified deodorant and generally just feels a bit potent and sickly. On paper the Drydown smells fantastic but the main part of the scent just feels a bit underwhelming.

7/10

Hastey

Firstly bears no resemblance to the original Boss Bottled. It’s a flanker in bottle design, not DNA.

Unfortunately on my skin it reminds me of a cheap body spray, and never goes anywhere further than that. It’s a pleasant smell and I can see the younger crowd liking this. Would make a good casual fragrance.

Not for me though

JF Dufour

I love.
Boss Bottled Night smells very good.
This is a kind of Light Blue (Dolce Gabbana for women), but manly.
A fresh, clean and soapy blue scent.
It's a simple and linear fragrance.
Very versatile : office, dîner, evening, summer, winter, etc.
It's a safe scent.
The performance is average.

travis.magnan

OMG this stuff rocks smells soooo good

NewKid

There are floral notes but it smells very masculine. very nice one.

Jms710frag

I bought this on offer in frankfurt. Good opening but ascsoon as it settles it vanishes. Very floral, lavender very noticeable. I guess that this is for a beta man. Sillage is very good , at work when i walked in everybody started staring. Performance is moderate but nothing special. Bottle is nice. Good fragrance for a coffee evening in winter with a friend. Thats it. Rating 7/10

jnelso65

Axe Phoenix SPOT ON !!!!! Don’t wear this. You want everyone to think you wear axe deodorant just spend 5 bucks on axe Phoenix....anyways, I have a 3.3 if anyone wants it for cheap.
This stuff is so bad that I wore it and sprayed twice on my neck. I went to work and got told “ lay off the axe tomorrow geez”. It gave be a headache so bad that I went home early. This fragrance Is strictly for high school boys who want to “upgrade” to a cologne spray.

However the longevity is extreme, the projection is extreme, and the Sillage is rediculous and fills an entire floor in minutes. The price..... it’s way to high. Guys, why is this stuff on the market as a designer fragrance? Just get sauvage and smell great and intense the right way. This yells I AM A BETA MALE. Sadly I got it as a gift from a friend and it needs to be let go for sure.

Please Just get sauvage and be the alpha male while smelling damn good. Or get sophisticated and get a bottle of dior eau homme.

Colm

I smelled this off someone years ago and i finally found it. I sprayed some of this on my wrist at a perfume shop and i let the smell settle for an hour and i fell in love with the nice musky violet smell.

I wear this every day at work and going out. I seen reviews on here saying the longevity is poor, to make the smell last longer spray it on your clothes and the back and side of your hair.

If anyone knows any similar fragrances like this message me please.

10/10 for hugo boss night bottle.

dglightblue

This seems like a nice all purpose frag
I'm shopping for a young teen and don't want anything heavy or huge for him as he can't carry it yet.
Looked at
Ck shock men's
Fcuk friction pulse
David off cool water
Fcuk for him

I've done reviews today for several men's fragrance
I'd say the accords listed are correct, I get aromatic, fresh spicey, woody and the others are lesser.
This is a light fragrance though, not a heavy one.
It is not as strong as smelling the bottle sprayer would suggest.

Have a go it's worth a test

EDIT
I TRIED THIS AGAIN at a different store altogether, it smelled about the same I thought, I visited someone and they said it smelled a little dirty. I also had on Issey Miyake which is prob sweeter and wet, bottled night is dry, woody, it could be a patchouli type wood making the dirty smell come through??

Tazahr

Highly underrated fragrance.

Very elegant, masculine, classic vibe with a modern twist.

So fresh although no citruses are there.

Projection is average but for a short period and Longevity is poor.

Escenta

Quality: 4 out of 5 – It’s a beautiful, high quality scent. The base notes are great but it's nice throughout the range. The skin scent left at the end is absolutely amazing. TIP: when combined with the skin scent of Creed Aventus, this is something else!!! Trust me, if a fragrance house picks up on this, we will have a masterpiece in production! I said it firs so the rights are mine! ;)

Originality: 4 out of 5 – It’s very original but as you can expect, you’ll find it’s a variation on Boss Bottled so it can’t be too original! Gives me thoughts of having ‘marinaded’ too long in a strong, fresh feeling (not citrusy), quality shower gel!

Projection (Sillage): 4 out of 5 – heavy; People can smell you coming. I had 1 spray on each side of my neck only. If it’s too strong for you, try putting it under your clothes to get a nice effect or 1 spray only behind the neck.

Longevity: 4 out of 5 – long-lasting; 7~8 hours based on using a fragrance free lotion on the skin before spraying.

Versatility: 4 out of 5 – This scent is very versatile; it works well for night, autumn/winter, non-formal/formal/clubbing for men of ages around 18 to 50.

Value: 4 out of 5 – At £36 for a 100ml bottle, I’d say this is great value.

Compliment Frequency: 2 out of 5 – Nobody moves away but nobody compliments it on me either!

Bottling (Packaging): 3.5 out of 5 – The bottle is functional, but nothing special, aesthetically. The sprayer is very good.

Overall Rating: 4 out of 5 – Great – This fragrance does just about everything you could ever want from a fragrance of its type (meaning it’s good enough for a lack of compliment frequency and plush bottling to ignore). There aren’t any significant problems with the fragrance, but you may not be left in complete awe, either.

Recommendations: If you like Boss Bottled and are looking for a projection monster for clubbing or an evening where there will be numerous people, it’s so good it's worth blind buying. If none of these factors matter, try before you buy. I haven’t worn it in a while, I think I should more often.

Tomkervin05

I smell the violet note after 2 hours of wearing it very similar to grey flannel but more softer and not richer like flannel that i love during the drydown.

ivankovai

It is syntetic, for my taste to sweet what i didnt expect i just bought it and tried, usualy fragrance longer i am wearing it s geting stronger and notes are getting distictiv, that is what i am waiting for this one too, now is very week, after 3 months while working (perhaps i will be jogging and working with) on it i hope i will get more of musk, the woodsy notes, now i can only get some floral notes(african violet) it has lots of alchohol in it, perhaps thats is because i am not alchohol drinker. It reminds me a lot on Axe Black on that sweet sweet thing, i know it has some sharpness in it or bitter, hope ill get it soon.

CMTHUNDERS

just got this sample in the mail today and i already ordered a bottle of it from ebay!! IT SMELLS PERFECT TO ME!! There is something in this that smells similar to hugo boss man. its like hugo boss man without the green spicyness! I LOVE IT!!!!

Oldspice

I'm not too impressed with Boss Bottled Night. It's a pretty basic woody violet scent. Projection is on the lighter side and it seems just as appropriate for daytime as night.

As usual with Boss scents it's a bit synthetic smelling, has a bit of a plastic tinge to it.

I have another violet scent in my collection that I find vastly superior to Bottled Night, Lalique Hommage a L'Homme, so I don't have use for this.

keith.dunstan.tong

On my skin, Bottled Night is woody, dry, and herbaceous; the violet note carries this scent. I get a little of the lavender note, but it doesn't dominate this perfume. I'd dare say I get a tinge of violet leaf, lightly reminiscent of Narciso Rodriguez for Him, although I wouldn't compare the two.

It is pleasant and unintrusive, albeit bordering mild. I can imagine it being a great wear for work - it is conservative but quietly confident. Certainly not a night scent for me: it lacks projection and head-turning factor; it isn't particularly intoxicating.

It is certainly a unisex scent. It will work very well for a lady of artistic character - a curator or an artist. On a guy, I imagine someone who works in an office; his desk is austere, he works hard, and pursues an artform semi-professionally.

I get really low sillage and poor longevity on this one. It is almost a skin scent within 30 minutes of application. I would not purchase it, for it is too weak to make the expense worth it.

Scent: 5/10
Sillage: 2/10
Longevity: 3/10

EDIT: Got a new bottle and BOY was that only a good memory and nothing else. Or my nose has refined over the years, cause this is nothing short of b-o-r-i-n-g and almost undetectable. I'll go back to my niche stuff, thanks.

Definitely one of my favorite fragrances. It isn't very complex or interesting, but it has a certain something. It's fresh, without being in your face like a toothpaste or a deodorant. It's clean and sweet, without being fruity or sugary. It's perfect both for day and night wear, although I might prefer it outdoors at night. It smells great on me, but also on a potential lover. I fell in love with Bottled Night when I met a super cute Spanish guy in Madrid, and after that I had to get a bottle of my own. I used it up so quick, I had to get another one. It's been a couple of years, but I can still remember the smell and it gives me such a happy and warm feeling. I probably have to get another bottle soon.

Perfumexoxo99

Okay so I am a female but I just had to say that this is such a great fragrance! I work in a perfume shop and recommend this to pretty much every guy who comes into the store! It's not too strong or over powering! It's just a lovely, clean smell! My male friends love it too and it smells great on them. Lasts all day! Obviously not everyone will like this scent but it is by far the nicest Hugo boss men's fragrance and I personally think it's the nicest men's fragrance out there! I recommend going into store and spraying it on your skin first to see how you react to it :)

Hugo Montez

I like this one. Very underrated. It's a cross between La nuit de l'homme and Gentlemen Only. I get Birch leaf, which i really like, and cardamom that is not listed here. Probably the lavender is there but i dont know if violet is really here... Being more cheap than la nuit or Gentlemen Only, and with average performance, like the other 2, i think it's a good alternative.

@COPPA - I am not a particular fan of this fragrance, but your super negative review does not make any sense nor helps people trying to read real honest comments here in Fragrantica.
If you have been true with your comment please inform me about that bug spray brand. They may have as well Spicebomb scent bug spray and I would like to order one can at least.

Whenever a frag attracts the clone makers it must be a frag that many people like. And BBN already has a BANG ON CLONE - Estiara X-Fashion By Night for men.

Bottled Night is a very unique scent. It's aromatic and woody, and it has a peculiar aroma to it that's unlike anything I have in my collection, which is different enough to be very intriguing and catches people's attention but not in a loud way. It's a very easy to wear scent, and smells very good.

CaspianDrumm

I really like this scent. Tried it out at a store, and it's a masculine smell with a very strange note lurking in. Unfortunately that smell is somewhat similar to the smell of black plastic bags. This isn't a bad thing; those bags smell really nice, but I imagine most people wouldn't be too fond of it. Therefore, I shall not buy it, but I genuinely really do like it. Too bad I care so much about what people think. Maybe when I'm old and full of hate I'll buy it just to screw with people. We'll see.

FragranceFinder

Smells super weird, but I like it in a strange way. It's like being attracted to Tina Fey. Sure, there are better looking celebrities, but she doesn't look bad, you know. I mean, would you decline going on a date with her if Tina Fey asked you? Nope, you wouldn't fam, and stop lying to yourself if you're denying it. The scent itself is very soapy, and very synthetic, but weirdly pleasing. Bears as much resemblance to the original Boss Bottled as Tina Fey does to Scarlett Johansson.

margoval

Here are the note which are written on the original box of Bottled Night:
TOP: Birch Leaf
HEART: Cardamom
BASR: Lauro Amarelo Wood, Musky Notes
No Lavender and no Violet.

JNIB

Don't let the marketing campaign fool you. This is not and never will be a dark and summer night time scent. It's too fresh and floral to warrant any sensuality and strays so far from the original to even warrant it as a flanker. Having said that, take it is as it is, wear it during the day of the winter months and this becomes a great everyday scent. It's crisp, clean and powdery - piercing through the cold winter air with ease making it an unusual fresh winter fragrance. Great longevity (8-10hrs) but only as a skin scent. Unfortunately like all Hugo Boss fragrances it opens with horrific blast of perfumers alcohol that burns the nostrils. Get over that hurdle though and you're onto a winner.

avaloncm

Bizarre and Interesting. I don't think I like this, but I can't say I don't like it. Intriguing. Very soapy and nice, floral, yet almost an after scent of gasoline. Anybody else get this?

mkpunk

Hugo Boss Bottled Night is an interesting scent. A new thing other than shortening my reviews, is that I want to give my three words or phrases to describe my thoughts on a scent. For Boss Bottled Night, they are: woody, powdery and musky. The wood is both as a top note with birch and a base note with the vague woody notes. The powder comes from the violet mid note which really gives this scent a feminine feel, not so much from the lavender open. The base while being woody, is pretty noticeably musky to my nose. That said I do like this mix and think it is unique for men.

Boss Bottled Night, I find works for about 5 to 6 hours with an hour to a half of rather strong projection. It is a scent that is set for fall into spring as a night scent that isn’t strong enough to not be usable during the day time. That said I am not sure which setting this could truly work for. I think it is light enough to be good for a work setting but it is not going to last the full day. It don’t really smell good for a date or a close encounter. But I think may work in a formal setting also.

I do like the scent of Hugo Boss Bottled Night but I feel it is pretty subtle, even though it isn't an aquatic which is common for that “complaint.” I say complaint because many would look at that as a negative in most fragrances. I think this is one that it does work with and don’t detract from it. Overall, I must give Boss Bottled Night a 7.6 out of 10. I do like it but find its usage a bit too limiting.

jigginssean

A very pleasant scent but not the most unique around. It's very hard to dislike this one and it is very versatile, useful for day & night, all seasons, all occasions. The main plus point of this one is that girls absolutely love it, you have to go around with a mop after them. I haven't had it too long but one of my mates got compliments left, right and center wearing this, they were like hyenas around a wounded zebra. If you want attention from the female race, you can do far far worse than this one.

razmale_kl

Another bad experience I had with Hugo Boss brand after the Hugo Boss Hugo Spray. I don't know why I keep buying Hugo Boss. This one just terrible, the smell is nice but it doesn't stay on your skin or clothes at all.. very bad longevity! i only smell it on my skin for only 1 hour. I still love the smell anyway.

Ebad

Hugo boss bottled night is same like other boss fragrances.Clean fresh and generic.I can clearly smell the leather aroma in it.Its perfect for night time. Not a complement getter or panty dropper but it is visible, people around you can smell it very clearly. Its not to overpowering,a moderate scent.Perfect for summer spring and fall.
Scent 8/10
Sillage 8/10
Longevity 8/10.....Peace

asgeirn

Sorry folks, this didn't wow me...

Soapy alright and barely noticeable after first spray.

Nothing spectacular for me, just a plain and ordinary scent.

This proves once again that it's not the price that determines a good frag from an ordinary. So glad i read the reviews and trust most people's opinions and ratings instead of the price tag and brand name.

Ryanmmas26

This really is an under rated gem in the fragrance community and I am surprised that this doesn't get more love.

This scent in a nutshell is slightly soapy, clean, floral but in a masculine way, and at the base you get that really nice birch which rounds this out and makes this just a tad smokyand dark which is I guess why this is called bottled night. The notes I primarily get in this are violet, birch and at the last few hours you do get a slight musk. I honestly don't smell lavender in this at all.

Don't be fooled by the name and bottle as this is not truly a night fragrance. Yes, I could see this being a good casual night out fragrance but it's not a true night fragrance like you would think.

Performance on this is average. It lasts a surprisingly long time and projects only soft to moderate for the whole life of the fragrance. Generally between 6-10 hours.

This would be perfect for work as its light and inoffensive and even if over applied isn't a projection monster. Which may be a complaint for some as I love this scent but wish it was stronger projecting at times.

This has gotten me compliments and my girlfriend likes it and says this actually has a relaxing note in this.

A fragrance this is similar to is Playboy Malibu. This however is a more professional mature version of that scent.

Overall rating: 8 out of 10 ! Amazing scent and if this had better projection I'd give this a possible 9 out of 10. However this a very pleasant scent that will last you all day, gets compliments and perfect for casual or work use

Agreeable musky floral soapy fresh scent. Calm, confident, clean, masculine. Great for evenings or business office settings. Not unique but not a copy of anything either. Great Blind buy although I bought this already knowing and still dont regret it

JezzaN1

A nice clean, soapy, slightly floral, masculine scent that maybe borders on the generic side of things. Obviously it's not going to have the obscurity of a lot of niche houses, but it is a fragrance I feel most people would agree smells quite nice. I feel as though the 'night' branding may not be all that accurate, as this smells like something you could wear just as easily during the day.

Had it on for a couple of hours now and it is still performing reasonably well. One of few boss releases that caught my attention, and as it can be had at a fairly cheap price it's worth a sniff.

HauteCuban

Another GENIUS Hugo Boss Flanker. This STUFF is Amazing. Great Sillage, Projection, Longevity. Exotic, Intriguing, Alluring in a smokey mysterious kind of way. The LADIES love this and you will get lots of compliments.

In my opinion this is more of an evening/night out fragrance. Although it is somewhat versatile I would reserve its allure to all things NIGHT.

@Zeek *Louro Amarelo which comes in precious woods category and Boss replicated its aroma and made this fragrance distinct, exotic and luxurious with the scent produced with it.* This Comment Is SPOT ON!

Sillage: 8/10 (as long as you don't have DRY skin)
Longevity: 8/10
Projection: 8/10
Overall: 8/10

****A word to those who would like to be wiser. DRY SKIN will RUIN a fragrances performance, sillage, longevity and projection. If you have dry skin or live in places like Arizona for example. Do yourself a favor and MOISTURIZE with a decent unscented moisturizer before applying any fragrances to your skin. I personally recommend the spray types because you can spray yourself right out of the shower and your skin will absorb the moisturizer even better as your pores will be open after a hot or warm shower. Don't just take my word for it. Try it for yourself and ADD 2-3+ hours to fragrance longevity and sillage****

MrLoveHisFragrances83

I think this fragrance however generic it is, has to be in my opinion the best of the whole hugo boss bottled line.

I use to wear boss bottled the original not intense and will always respect it's popularity but to me it just came off a tad to sweet for my tastes.

BBN totally eliminates that with a very nice clean and masculine violet, cardamom, mixing with the birch and amurelo wood.

***note***

I do not see any reference to night with this fragrance whatsoever that is pretty much an understatement with this fragrance.

I wear this on the day only in spring and autumn normally under a formal setting like workING in an office.

siririschmoos

This strong violet/lavender scent is just great! I can see someone not liking it but do not understand the hate.

You can wear this day or night and it is not the usual fare, it is masculine and aromatic to the point that it conjures images of formal attire but yet it seems good enough for day and casual wear.

It is easily available at so many retailers and I can see people being "put off" by Boss' earlier Bottled releases but this one seems reputable.

Good sillage and lifespan.

Don't take life so seriously, this is good.

PersianJordan

This is a very masculine and unique fragrance. It stands out from the rest.

With this fragrance one or two sprays is enough, you want to keep it subtle.

I like it, it's my go to winter or night out fragrance and you can always count on the price to be low.

Another successful fragrance from the house of Hugo Boss.

Konga5000

This is a good generic frag for men.
The purple floral vanishes too fast and the musk & wood base faintly comes off as generic with just a tiny floral trace lingering. Non-offensive. Good for office/work space & nice enough.
Not very expensive and I love the bottle -- midnight blue / black glass always gets me.
Worth trying as a "blind buy" if you see it for cheap or on a discount store shelf.
------------------
Update on the dry-down: After letting this one settle for a while --the base has sweetened slightly and I'm felling better about this than I did 15 minutes ago!

Still- I don't get any "night" outta this.

File this under:"Good for General Purpose Usage & Layering" in your frag library.

Santos89

Bottled Night is a weird one. It's not bad or anything - I quite like the scent, but it just doesn't fit in to the Boss Bottled aesthetic.

The original Bottled was a very nice cinnamon-apple fresh scent. A great allrounder, and a mainstay of many wardrobes.

Bottled Night is better smelling in my opinion, but how is it a night version of Bottled?

Basically, it's a powdery violet leaf based scent.

You get a nice lavender and birch opening. It's of course quite fresh and crisp.

Then comes a boatload of violet leaf.

It's all finished with a bit of musk and faux-woods courtesy of good old ISO E Super.

In short, nothing spectacular. It's quite synthetic, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing here. It isn't gratingly synthetic, but don't buy this expecting a Creed level of blending or ingredient quality.

What boggles my mind is calling this a night fragrance. It isn't particularly dark, instead it's quite fresh. However it isn't a bad fragrance at all, it's just not groundbreaking or innovative at all.

I think Bottled Night would have been a bigger success, had it been labeled as it's own thing instead of a Boss Bottled flanker. It doesn't share anything at all with the original.

Overall a decent scent. Not bad. Pretty standard fare. You can do much better, yet also much worse.

Longevity is quite bad. 3-4 hours.

Rating: 5/10

Malik121

for it smells like a deodorant...not bad,but not good either..

sameh

Boss Bottled Night Hugo Boss for men is a really good one from Hugo Boss for winter time lavender and birch tree aromas & violet it just works great on my skin which is translated in to a very good longevity & Projection , in other words it's a Complement Getter & of course with a comparative price regarding brands like Dior or Royal Creed.

P.S. Thank God have another bottle ( 200 ml ).

Maryamsoh

I just can't wait tryin this one! !!
