Halloween Shot by Halloween is a Amber Floral fragrance for women. Halloween Shot was launched in 2016. Top notes are Daiquiri, Hazelnut, Pineapple and Mandarin Orange; middle notes are Passionfruit, Violet, Rose Water and Jasmine; base notes are Caramel, Vanilla and Patchouli.

The Halloween collection of perfumes, which once belonged to the designer Jesus Del Pozo and is now a separate brand, presents two new editions, a masculine and a feminine Halloween Shot. These scents of daiquiri cocktails are inspired by the game of billiards, the night atmosphere and its mystery.

Halloween Shot is an oriental - floral and gourmand fragrance. It opens with an unusual note of the pineapple daiquiri cocktail which is mixed with mandarin and hazelnuts. Rosewater, jasmine, violet and passion fruit form the heart of the perfume. The base ends with vanilla, patchouli and caramel.

It is available as a 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

Pretty bottle and great scent. Very similar to Wanted Girl By Night. Sweet and delicious scent of dark grapes and caramel to my nose.

This is weirdly addicting!! I did not love it the first time I tried, because it is indeed a bit strange and the opening can be a bit unusual. Notes are kind of difficult to describe this by but I guess the passionfruit, violet and patchouli stands out the most (to give a slight idea of what it smells like). It is a fruitchouli, it's sweet and quirky. Just enough weirdness to keep it interesting, but the main impression is young and mainstream. I don't know why but I just love it and keep coming back for more! The violet in this combination of tart and sweet with the earthy backbone just makes me happy. Love it!

LadyMuck

A nice mix of tropical notes and nuttiness to my nose.
I also thought I smelt chocolate in the opening spray.

It's lighthearted and not offensive.

Easy to wear and dries down to a nice soft caramel, jasmine and patchouli mix.
I don't pick up on any vanilla as it's probably overshadowed by the other more potent notes. 6/10

Flowers bloom here

This should have been Halloween signature scent! It is an intoxicating witches brew... love at first sniff! 10/10

I downgraded from a like, to meh. Convinced this would be some kind of fall weather witchy woman fragrance, I blind bought. Now I’m left wondering why I ever thought a scent inspired by *billiards?!* with notes like Daiquiri and Pineapple could be anything other than ratchet.
Yikes.
Pretty bottle though!

In the opening of this scent all I smell is jam, then I get a sweet florally scent as it dries down. It becomes pretty linear on me after that. It may just be my nose but I don't smell any hazelnut or caramel. That's a bummer to me since those were the notes I was hoping to smell. Overall not a favorite.

I bought this EDT for a friend's birthday; she loves baked-goods scented candles and her fave holiday is Halloween. I was really surprised by how awesome this smells. It reminds me of Elizabeth Taylor Passion for MEN, or a sweeter Gucci Guilty. Amber and vanilla base with red fruits and caramel, but kept in the world of grownups with musk, patchouli, and a noticeable woody note. Some might consider it too "masculine" smelling, and it would fit right in with the current trends in men's fragrances. I have Chloe Nomade, and that is MUCH more masculine smelling than Halloween Shot. (Nomade obviously being in a different scent family, but one that turns me off due to this powerful "sports fragrance" note.) I'm not into gourmands AT ALL, but I would actually wear this. Unlike a lot of gourmand scents, this one has more balance and not just an ethyl maltol overload (although I'm SURE it's present in this fragrance.) ONE test spray seemed pretty potent, I'd advise to apply with restraint. I can't imagine wearing it in the daytime, or to the theater; this requires a date, nightclub, evening romance type setting. For the price, this is good stuff! Now I'm actually considering getting a small bottle for myself, as well.

Longevity: Lasts a really long time on me!
Projection: Really strong! I have to be careful with how much I spray of this one, because it is quite strong and could be overpowering if I oversprayed.
Price Value: AMAZING.
Thoughts: My boyfriend smelled it and said its his favourite I have of all time. He said its super sexy and perfect for nights out. It really is perfect for nights out. I love how cheap it was and honestly I think it was such a great find! For 40$ it lasts longer than most of my more expensive perfumes. I actually got a compliment on it my first time wearing!! We were in line at the comedy show and I could hear the couple behind us whispering saying that something smells good. She later came up to me and asked what I was wearing!! So definitely has really great performance and smells amazing. AMAZING deal for 40$. I get a lot of pinapple at first and its super fruity but still dark and sexy. Definitely a heavy hitter. Successful blind buy!! I love it. Would be really nice on a winter night going out. Definitely too heavy and strong for daytime use.

ShoGirl

I get nutty, yummy gourmand deliciousness. There's no chocolate in the notes, but I'm getting a yummy choc-hazelnut-ish scent profile from this that reminds me of a "lite" version of Angel Muse. I really like this, it's easy and inexpensive and would be a lovely gift for a young (or young at heart) gourmand fan. It's lasted all day really well too. Has a slight powderiness to it too and a few hours in I think I can *just* get a bit of pineapple? Overall it's fun and pretty and yum without being too heavy at all.

I was not ready!!! Wow I have not been this impressed by a fragrance in quite some time. This is fairy gum drops and sugared sweets in the dark forest. I absolutely love it. As a huge Lolita lover I can strongly state that this is in no way identical to Lolita. Halloween lives in the same forest as Lolita yet she’s only awakens when the forest is littered with moonlight. This is full moon rituals and magic spells. I feel I just waltzed in to the Iand of enchantment and I don’t want to leave. Solid 8/10 and I’m a hard one to impress. Halloween Shot is nothing like the original. It is exquisite.

This is a better smelling version of the reformulated Lolita Lempicka, in my opinion, with a different kind of dry down. I can only pick up on the caramel note within the first few seconds of spraying, which is a bummer because I love caramel gourmand fragrances. The dry down is a pleasant smell, especially when my sprayed wrists are away from my face and I catch a whiff. That whiff almost has a viva la juicy hint of freshness, but don't take my word on that because no other poster mentioned this. When I put my nose right next to my skin, I smell musky, licorice, which is odd because licorice isn't a listed note, but that dries down to a powdery scent. Too much jasmine smells like grapes to me and I I'm not a fan of that (that's how Mugler Alien starts off for me😷). If Halloween Shot held back on the jasmine, this might be even better to me. The evolution of the blended notes are kinda neat. As it dries, it waltzes gracefully from one scent to the next. This isn't one of my favorites, but the more I wear it, the more I like it. It might even do well, for me, layered with something else; I'll need to do some trial and error. I feel that I could eventually love this fragrance because it gets better and better as it dries. I'm very picky with scents, so that's very telling. I think this might be an underrated frag. The longevity and sillage are pretty good for a cheaper fragrance. This is the longest, most indepth review I've ever written for a frag, which is also telling. Will update after a few more wears.

6.5/10 for me

violetstorm

so unfortunately this halloween scent just didnt work for me :(

its a fruity floral with an odd musty smell......maybe its the caramel.........im not fond of caramel in scents (example V & R bonbon )

the nme of the perfume kind of fits its description lol - it reminds me of a girl whos been hanging out at the bar too long (doing shots lol) & has that god awful stale smoke smell lingering on her lol yep thats what this reminds me of...........sorry for those who love this but on me it just doesnt work :(

JolieSucre

I have mixed feelings about this, even if I like the Halloween perfumes.
Have always thought that the classic Halloween was too aquatic, like the taste of a gulp of sea water stuck in your throat/ up your nose, and always hoped Halloween would come up with something sweeter, more floral (Freesia didn’t cut it for me, neither did Fleur).

Now that they’ve done it .. I’m not sure they should have. I blind bought this and don’t regret it, I will always like Halloween’s DNA and every flanker, this isn’t the issue. Additionally, it’s also unknown where I live and not many girls wear it or have even heard of it. But I had such high hopes for this one, that I am completely underwhelmed.

It’s sweetened Halloween, but a sweetness without detectable, clear origin. I can’t identify caramel, honey or vanilla, to me it smells like the original + amped violet + a slightly sugared version of some red fruits, maybe “passionfruit” or whatever the note says this has. It is strong enough to make it smell sweet, but unidentifiable and rather unfit.

It just doesn’t go with the perfume body, with the Halloween formula, I find the base to be so wet and aquatic that a drier composition would have been so much better. Had they gone in a Nina Ricci, Carolina Herrera, Givenchy or even Juicy Couture or Britney Spears direction with the sweet notes, the result would have been much more grounded and stable. To me it feels like it’s floating, conjures up the feeling of a stale, artificially sweetened violets in pond water. Hard to describe. Like a room-temperature artificially sweetened bland tea, when you expected a piping hot mug of fragrant jasmine, caramel, red fruit tea with high-quality honey or brown sugar.

This version turned the original fragrance into a mushy marsh instead of giving it some roots. Maybe it’s the “daiquiri”, it does have a slightly cocktail-ish vibe, like a foamy, sugary alcoholic fizziness to it, as if you’re sniffing a freshly poured cocktail (not “alcohol” as in rubbing alcohol or spirits). It just doesn’t go with Halloween, the perfume smells too watery to sustain it. What a pity!!! :(

Will continue wearing it until it runs out, then no repurchase. Maybe I’ll change my mind, who knows, but from what I remember Freesia was a much safer choice. At least it made sense.

Lovely. Great quality.

3 dimensions perfume: floral-oriental-gourmand...
I am very lucky to own. It's a deep caramelish black orchid like perfume-the nutty/caramely note is not overwelming but melts fine with a hint of liqueurish aroma.
It's like a more mature Lolita... a fine and exraordinary flavor!
I surely recommend it.
It projects very well.

STARISH

I bought the 15ml version, based on the notes listed here.
The opening is sweet, not clogying: the caramel note is really nice and soft. After you smell the caramel, you can identify the vanilla and daiquiri notes which are divine.

The hazelnut/violet combo comes just after that and gives this fragrance a Lolita Lempicka touch. If you like traditional Lolita Lempicka and are looking for something less sweet or more unisex, I think Halloween Shot is one of the choices you can make.

I read some reviews about how weird the fragrances turns in some people's skin. It kind of happens to me too, but it depends on the weather: the colder the more you're going to detect patchouli and maybe a hint of musk which can translate in a turnoff for some gourmands lovers.

I insist: this is like a unisex LL version because of those notes, mainly. When they fade away (it may take 1 to 2hr) the fragrance is sweet again and really nice. I'm not disappointed, I think is a fragrance men could find attractive because of the sharp notes I mentioned.

justfloral

caramel (very sweet with rum and almond undertones) + vanilla + dark grapes (grapesoda) + red hard candies + orange flower.

It resembles slightly Olympea Eau Legere by Paco Rabanne.

I love grapesoda note but the fragrance is to sweet.

Whit

Interesting mix of notes for sure! It's almost a salty caramel with fruity nuances strewn throughout. The opening is fruity, but I get caramel soon in, followed by the saltiness. I know there's no salt in this so maybe it's just my skin. It's sweet, but to me, not cloying. I marked that it would best suited for fall/winter, but I think a person could wear it on a summer's night quite easily. I don't own a lot of the Halloween frags, and this one turned out to be a successful blind buy.

It's unusual but not overly groundbreaking. If you like caramel and fruits, do try it. It does have some sweetness, so be warned. Overall, it's a unique little gem and looking at the notes, I wasn't sure they would work, but in this fragrance, they do. Longevity and sillage are moderate, so it's not a beast of a fragrance.

perfumeglam87

Smells like diesel loverdose and I'm still holding on to my old one lol. Smells like berries are also in this and licorice.

jenn.sacks

Love it for about 6 hours - incredible candy like sweetness.... then I just smell whatever horrible crap they use as a base for the fragrance... similar to whatever is in all the cheap lotions (including unscented ones)

Beautiful bottle i love gold with purple but smell simple

SandraJsn

such a sexy perfume I've ever had. my boyfriend loves it and loves me more when wearing it. lol
sweet, light and fresh(kind of). In general, it is a great perfume and even nice as a gift (due to nice appearance) and I suggest you to try it.

LittleParfumista

This one is absolutely different from I expected after seeing the notes and reading all the reviews about it being tropical and summery. I was hoping for a light, bubbly, fruity perfume, with just a touch of sweet caramel and vanilla, some nutty hints. A day wear, easy and safe.

My chemistry must be off, because this is totally not the case on me! What I get is a deep, sweet caramel-patchouli flavor with a touch of vanilla and a hint of nuts. Very little fruit. Deeper and darker than I expected.

Definitely night time wear and probably the only Halloween line perfume, that actually lives up to its dark, mysterious and playful name.

Sillage and longevity are grand, lasts all day on me and others can smell it from a decent distance.

Very different and really nice one. Love the bottle and the juice.

DulciusExAsperis

This perfume is so... unexpected! Previously I'd purchased Halloween Freesia as well as Halloween Kiss Sexy, and found them to be lovely in a sweet/floral uncomplicated way. Not Halloween-y at all in scent or feeling, but just feel-good florals that had a mix of notes that I really liked. I also find them to be quite similar and had assumed that was the general feel of a Halloween.

This flanker is much different. At first spritz, I hated it. It smelled almost licorice/anise-y to my nose, in an unpleasant way.
However, this one cannot be judged by its initial blast. In a few moments, after the notes calm down I definitely get the pineapple. It's a sweet, straight out of the can syrupy pineapple, which isn't a note I usually crave, but it's interesting. I do not really smell the hazelnut (there's an earthiness I associate with that note that is conspicuously missing here), but there is a caramelly undertone that takes this into the realm of a tropical candy. There's undoubtedly a boozy tinge, and I also get the damp, seedy sweetness of passionfruit.

For the life of me, I cannot sort out how I feel about it. It's not at all what I usually wear, but it's so interesting to me that I keep sniffing it. I'll update when I've made more of an acquaintance...

Soofiya

It's not a real review because I couldn't do a careful test but I already know that I want it
Best Halloween flanker IMO thanks God I didn't detect Halloween's violet dominant gene here.to my nose this is a floralfruitygourmand.a delicious scent with strong caramel, vanilla note and some fruits
Gonna try it again and write a real review. I wish hazelnut shows up on my skin and I wish too much violet or pine apple don't ruin if
By the way it's a strong fragrance in terms of longevity and sillage.I also like it's bottle
اگه عطرهای کاراملی دوس دارید حتما تستش کنید.عطر میوه ای گلی خوشمزه و بنظر من تو سری هالویین ها بهترین هست.موندگاری و پخش خیلی خوبی هم داره

mudpach

Probably the best Halloween flanker that I tried it. I don't like Halloween, to my nose it is so weird. Fleur...not special, Tattoo...too sweet and same like the original. But Halloween Shot follow the trends: there is nothing about the original scent (luckily), sweet, tropical scent, a little bit salty-dry notes (similar Paco Rabanne Olympea).

polkadotcat

I keep my tradition of buying all the Halloween flankers despite the fact they don't always match my expectations.
This one is the definetely good one. Beginning with the bottl, it's just gorgeous. No pics on, the same ordinary glass and а glib lid as the original one has, but this time they've used some colors. The basic parts are golden while the glass is violet the darkest at the bottom and getting lighter to the top. Packed in the box with the print of laces. Looks like a Christmas present. First notes are a just a bit too sweet , middle ones are much softer and nicer , the rest are close to 212 CH at some point but this may be personal percertion. Anyway I like it and it's so grandiose and joyful. I used it when we were eating out with my husband at the Irish pub and it went perfectly alongside those dark blue and red decorations and my tartan plaid clothing and also it's a scent of celebrations I would say. The best scent for the coming New Year day.

ScarlettX

This is a tropical floral fruity scent. Very sweet, reminds me of celebrity's fragrances. No pineapple, but there's definitely vanilla, caramel, passionfruit and rose.
It's not original, there are many similar fragrances on the market.
Nice, but nothing special.

soobee11

I want to try this! Where can I buy?

Berta15

I tested it,and it's sweet(what a suprise). The opening however was fruityyyy, yummi, fresh with a touch of sweetness. The dry down was sweet and seductive. The main nktes are vanilla, caramel and some fruit! It was fresh-fruity n sweet at the same time. Not breathtaking but yet something new!
I like it,but I have to test it again than I do an update!

UPDATE everybody:
I have soo mixed feelings. But it´s something YES.......something new but not breathtaking it´s done before many times. Not the dry down was sweet but the opening, yes yes the opening was sooo stickly sweet I was huuuuh this is not for me,but after a while the fruits start to play tha main role and that was the point when everything changes. There was a lot of VIOLET so it was veery powdery veeery fruity and sweet scent it remind me Guerlain-Insolence edt and than Givenchy-Live Irresistible with the sweet pineapple scent.Yes it has a oriental smell, light spicy-oriental SWEET smell with a FRUITY background. Now after 3 hours it is very fruity candy-sweet scent with a lot of pineapple and passionfruit.A little tropical a little sweet a little powdery little oriental soo it´s a mash of everything but in a good way.
The longevity is moderate now is a skin scent but you can still smell it.
The bottle is cute and lovely with this purple color is very different which I like but now I have so many perfumes that I don´t need it and I have my favorites. But everybody have to try it. 1000 Kisses <3

nvenus

Such an intersting mix... "Could it possibly be/smell wrong?"
