Tendre Nuit by Isabey is a Amber Floral fragrance for women. Tendre Nuit was launched in 2018. The nose behind this fragrance is Jean Jacques. Top notes are Almond and Pink Pepper; middle notes are Rose Oil, Rose and Ambrette (Musk Mallow); base notes are Vanilla, Benzoin, Cashmeran and Ambroxan.

"The unforgettable fragrance of a desired and beloved skin. A night of love and passion when the quintessence of femininity is revealed by an extraordinary swirl of rose oil and absolute. Coupled with ambroxan, the queen of flowers is wrapped in an addictive mystery, and finally opens on the powdery dry-down of ambrette, for a caressing sensuality." - a note from the brand.

Smelled this before. Lancome Tresor La Nuit. From the color to the ambroxan, they are very similar. I find better performance from Lancome. This one you can get as a true cheapie from Macys online sales. But you can easily pass it by and not miss it.

i wish i was getting what everyone else is getting (i’ll have what she’s having, *wink* if u get that movie reference you must be my age). on me, this is cherry tobacco & ambroxan. reminds me of tf tobacco vanille with more cherry/fruity aspect. not my thing and thank goodness i only bought the travel spray.

Recently purchased this on Parfumdreams.co.uk and this fragrance is stunning, very long lasting (8+hours) and the sillage (exceeds arms length for about 4 hours) Ive worn the fragrance once and I received 2 compliments. To me this smells like if Guerlain Spiritueuse Double Vanille & Maison Francis Kurkdjian Gentle Fluidity Gold had a baby.

Scent 10/10 purchased a back up
Longevity 9/10
Sillage 8/10

Wow- this stuff is so good!! When I tested this on paper I was not the biggest fan, but on skin I'm loving it. This opens with almond, vanilla, and it feels like there is a bit of cherry tobacco in this. As it develops I get a creamy musk (ambrette), a bit of rose, and a delicious vanillic almond/heliotrope...I also still get a hint of cherry tobacco. I was a bit worried about the ambroxan in this (it's an aromachemical that makes me nauseous)- and although I could detect the ambroxan on paper, I don't get it when I wear this on my skin. I find this to be unisex, leaning feminine. I'm so glad I gave this a chance. Honestly, this whole house is underrated. Also, I see this is being compared to MDCI L'Homme Aux Gants-- while I love that one, I don't find it at all similar to Tendre Nuit.

This is gorgeous and might be my best blind buy in the last year. I sampled it and immediately purchased a full bottle. I feel like I've smelled this before but I'm not sure when or what it was. I was scared of the ambroxan in this but it's not leathery or oudy in the least which is what I always get when I smell ambroxan (JHAG Not A Perfume, etc.) This is wine-like, red wine. I'm still not the best at describing fragrances but I can say that I'm in love with this one. Sillage is moderate but I have a feeling that this is one of those scents that I may consider moderate in sillage when really it's projecting like crazy. It's stunning. IMO this is a safe blind buy. Edit added 8/28/23...One fragrance that this closely resembles is Gentle Fluidity Gold. But that's still not the one that I'm referring to when I say I've smelled this before.

Extremely potent and heady, large projection. Warm, sensual, inviting, truly a night-time scent. Benzoin, vanilla, almonds and rose, and lots lots of cashmeran. If you despise anything synthetic, this perfume is not for you. But I wonder if they changed the formula, as when I smelled it in the store, it mostly smelled like milky, lactonic almonds with just a hint of sweetness, almost like Prada Infusion d'Amande. And in my variation set Tendre Nuit is a full cashmeran bomb, smelling so ambery, so sweet. It's a lovely perfume, just too sweet for me.

So warm, sweet and comforting....love love love!!

Tendre Nuit starts off w/ a burning almond smell for me. It smells like almond wood burning in a fire or burnt almonds. There is a bitter quality here as well that I am not liking. This is the only perfume today that I did not like and that gave me a headache. An obnoxious burning almond and vanilla. The smell of burned almond/vanilla cookies comes to mind. Just a hard no. The best from this line that I got to try are Sir Galahad, Prendi-moi, and Fleur Nocturne. Tendre Nuit was the worst for me. This is a cashmeran bomb which at times smells like burning rubber or other burned things to my nose or lotion sitting in a very hot car for weeks on end. This perfume would have been so much better w/ different dry down notes. What a shame.

Why, why, why did they ruin this with ambroxan? I don't see the draw, unless it's just the way I interpret that scent molecule, but it smells like a cheap ingredient. It was going along so well and then 2-5 minutes in it just slams me in the face. Everyone's different, so my experience may not be the norm but I don't want to review further. Just letting other ambroxan haters out there know that this one is in your face with it.

I bought it. Sold it. And am now considering a future repurchase.

The reason I sold it, aside from a half-assed attempt at downsizing, is that there's a harsh woody powdery note at the top that I found irritating. That same note showed up on my skin with Xerjoff La Capitale. I'm not sure what that note is, but it's something I associate with a lot of the overtly aggressive perfume houses that have made themselves indispensable players on the fragrance landscape over the past decade: Mancera, Xerjoff, Terenzi, etc. I suspect that it's the note that makes most of these fragrances last an unholy amount of time.

A few days after mailing off the package with Tendre Nuit I came across the test strip I had sprayed a few days before. The scent was still going strong, more than a week after having been sprayed. That painful top note that made me get rid of it in the first place was long gone. The scent coming off the test strip was a gorgeous dreamy vanilla-laced Dr. Pepper. And I was able to enjoy that test strip for another 2 weeks. It's what I expected of BDK Rouge Smoking.

Do I really need any more fragrances? Absolutely not. But when I find a bottle on deep discount a couple of years from now (everything eventually gets there), I'll probably repurchase.

This unfortunately didn’t work for me. I’m selling a 50ml bottle at good price if interested. I can smell the rose and almond but I think the ambrette might just not be working on my skin.

hyporealist

i don't get rose as much as i do almond and vanilla, as well as something vaguely fruity... reminds me of maraschino cherries. pleasantly sweet, spicy; fairly quickly settles into a skin scent which makes it a lot more elegant to me.

smells very similar to bouquet ideale by xerjoff
the smell of a freshly opened box of red vines candy
sweet red fruity floral vanilla
medium strong projection for the first hour & then a medium skin scent all day

Testing this out from a sample i bought. 2 time now . I do realy enjoy the sweetnes of this one. The almonds ,benzoin and rose mixing thogether mkes it almost fruity .delicious and very feminin uplifting. From a distance and in the drydown this is such a beauty. But sadly i can not get past the ambroxan. It is way to strong ,mixing with the musk here it makes it almost cheap smelling up close . God why did they had to ruin that beautiful almond rose ..
I will enjoy the sample and try to find something similar but without ambroxan :(

Julia paris

Very feminine sweet Almond/ Rose/ Musc fragrance. It's gourmand and well balanced. It's more of a skin scent but it's nice. I think if it was projecting more it would be cloying. I love this brand. In their website it's possible to buy a small size for 40 Euros. On my wishlist

craftymaya

Beautiful! Fantastic blind buy (for once!). This fragrance is beautifully blended. Benzoin, pink pepper, vanilla and sweet almond are the most prominent notes, to my nose. Rose and musk sit in the background. The result is very feminine, warm and inviting. LOVE for me! The bottle is modern and gorgeous too!

Nicyoung

This is good! It smells like a pink sweet powdery musk in a well blended perfect combo.. it smells like a pink Mark Jacobs Decadence!.. and its just as well done!I like it a lot!Especially for a cheapy!

It's interesting reading the previous review. Mu thoughts are, if SL Feminite du Bois and Byredo's Seven Veils had a baby. Both are loves of mine, and this would fit very nicely in my wardrobe . . . Just not so much in my budget.

Oh well, I'm enjoying my little decant thanks to fragrance ferries!

This is not vanilla heavy at all to me. It's more resinous and spicy and a bit powdery. There's a touch of a sweet fruit like green apple, if I sniff close. Warm, but very wearable in this hot climate.

What a beauty!

Solar Girl

Mmmm...creamy, sweet, delicious.

If Coromandel and Prada Candy had a baby this would be it.

When I first smelled it (no idea about the notes) I thought- mmm white chocolate! And cream, some vanilla. Something sexy caramel-benzoin-like in Prada. Full, rich and gourmand all the way.

Benzoin is definitely leading the dance here, followed by vanilla and almond. Musk-like part is cashmeran and ambroxan, and rose and pink pepper are more rounding and balancing the whole story with soft spiciness (which I do smell more on the paper and clothes, but on my skin all I get is creamy gourmand stuff)

If I didn't already own the mentioned perfumes I would have seriously thought about purchasing this beauty. It is right up my alley, and an all together well done oriental gourmand fragrance.

p.s. many thanks for the beautiful gesture by Isabey house for sending samples of all their perfumes completely free of charge <3

If you like sweet florientals, you must try this fragrance! On my skin it opens up almost edible - vanilla-almond cream, and it settles to a sweet and a little sour, creamy, spicy rose. If I should describe it in few words, I'd say, flirty and sensual. If it was a color, it would be dark pink. The staying power is very good, the sillage is moderate. It will be interesting to test it in colder weather. Under the heat of +30 degrees Celsius it does not open fully, I feel.

Q80

Creamy powdery sweet almond roses.

Just like that, sharp roses buried within bitter almonds, benzoin, pepper, & sweet amber. There is something overly peppery and very spicy as i think it's the sichuan pepper as it's makes my eyes partially teary.

It's cute but settles to spicy hot instead of rosy sweet almonds. I need to test it more, next time on skin it will be.

liava

Absolutely lovely..
