It smells like sunscreen and tears, and a little bit of pee.
More like a day at the pool than a day at the beach.
I don't hate it, but I don't love it.

Kitmarin08

This is what I hoped Alien Goddess would be. It has this airy freshness to it that I think AG lacks. Probably the salt? Very much pool vibes and sunscreen lotion Will wear it for sure on beach days.

WatermelonPlum603

I don't normally wear gourmand or vanilla heavy scents so me spraying this on myself was a huge risk for me. I got in in one of the sample sets from JHAG.
It opens very sunscreeny summery salty. I actually like it for the most part as it doesn't have the sickly sweet factor that I don't like in most gourmands.
My only gripe is that it is LONG lasting and after a 9+hour day at work with this on me I was sick of smelling it. It got screechy to my nose. So user beware, it lasts FOREVER.

LLilies

smells like alien godess

Pscented

I haven't smelled Bobbi Brown Beach in a long time but I remember being obsessed with it as a kid, and this reminded me of that specific smell that one might describe as "god's sunscreen." If you're into that kind of thing, you'll like it. Or love it even. If you're not, you probably won't!

aegh.98

Sadly, to me it smells like Treasure Island's casino.

EmilyStathopoulos

literally summer in a bottle

thesilliestevrr

Not at all what I expected, but I love it none the less! I expected a vanilla gourmand with hints of salt and I didn’t get that, but I got a beautiful oceanic smell that I was searching for (with a little sweetness). If you’re looking for a vanilla summery scent, this probably isn’t the best one for you.

nbweberg

I was surprised to love this one as much as I do. It's a very fun, playful daytime scent that still feels sophisticated enough to wear to work. I got this in a discovery set and it's the one I've used the most.

fragwhore<3

Salty salty ick, I don't even know how to describe this but all I smell is salt ( and maybe coconut?). Was hoping for a salty vanilla sort of like a Carmel salted candy, but this legit smelled like minerals. Like a salt cave gone wrong.

constantinna

Lying on the mossy carpet of a rock above the sea, under the breezy shadow of a cliff nearby, in her white scalloped dress, she waits for her merman boyfriend to arrive at their allotted date spot. To pass the time, she consults the sea waves about her relationship, and collects their bearings in green blue glass urns. He shows up, wearing a crisp shirt under an immaculate suit, the best there can be for a merman anyway. He hugs her, her worries now asunder, burying her head in his sweet embrace...

If only, if only he could stay a little longer.

Patousas

I think this one needs to work with your skin chemistry. I personally really enjoy it, as I get a salty and sweet summer fragrance with hints of coconut and vanilla. It reminds me of the smell your skin has after it has dried off from a long day on the beach in the Mediterranean. Projection is moderate as is lasting power, but I do enjoy it and wear it whenever I want to bring this fresh summer feeling.

Vanilla Vibes by Juliette Has A Gun

🌀 Longevity and Projection:

Niche House Juliette Has A Gun-এর Vanilla Vibes ট্রাই করে দেখতে পারেন।

Picture this: you're a gourmand enthusiast, trying to find a scent that says, "I'm sweet but also a little salty, with a hint of plastic." Look no further. This fragrance delivers an experience akin to a cabbage patch kid rolling in powdered sugar. I wear it to work for an unsettling aroma that screams ~I'm here to negotiate~

fragrancefanatic212

I feel the salt really overpowers the vanilla and it almost smelled like mineral-y as if it was scraped off cave walls, an unprocessed but also synthetic almost salt smell.

Jadelynn

Well I can see why so many people dislike this. Granted, I’m not a fan of vanilla frags, but the market is full of interesting and well-crafted vanilla fragrances, so why would you produce one that… isn’t?

Cold from the bottle, I did get a whiff of vanilla, but upon application it was undetectable at first. Initial application smelled like plastic warmed up from being left in the sun, with a tinge of something that reminded me of old hospitals, a sort of antiseptic + iodine smell. After maybe an hour or so, the vanilla starts to emerge, but the plastic smell remains. The weird hospital sort of smell is gone, but there’s no point where this smells even ok on my skin.

The sad thing is that I'm a fan of salt notes, but most frags, including this one, over do the salt and it ends up not blending well.

Ismelllikeuniconrs21

Reminded me of the first time I smelled the scent of vanilla. I was 5 or 6 and it came from a candle at my grandma's house. That was the moment I decided vanilla will be my favourite scent. And I still love it 25 years later. This vanilla is not childish, it's musky, serious. You are on the beach with sea salt in your hair mixed with vanilla body spray and leftovers from your last night perfume.

hmrls

No, no, no and no again.
Granted, I’m not the biggest fan of coconut, but I can appreciate it if it’s a good blend.
This just smells too heavy, too salty and just like something has gone bad.
I would honestly never recommend this unless I was really sure they are the biggest coconut lover.

delicateneonkisses

I don’t think i like it very much… on my skin the mix of vanilla and salt smells like a seaside full of fish… i don’t really want to smell like tuna so i think this is a pass for me.

Nikola992

Is there any dupe for this one ?

mercedizzy

This is a portal to the beach

ants_ants_ants

Definitely getting a play do smell, then dries down like when you cover cigarette with a vanilla body mist. Made me feel sick. Lasted 8hrs though.

K8O

This reminds me of warm summer days, sunscreen on, and a slightly salty tinge to the air by the beach. It’s calming and brings be back to less stressful times. I wouldn’t say it’s very vanilla, as it’s much more sunscreen vibes, but it’s a winner for me. I love it.

Jennalevyne

It is Playdoh

brandiwine1980

I didn’t care for Vanilla Vibes. At first it smells similar to Alien Goddess, but not quite as good, but then it dries down to cigarettes and vanilla. Ewww.

marcr17

This is a different type of summer fragrance. I was intrigued by the notes geared towards a summer fragrance and I wasn't disappointed. I get why some people may not like it. The saltiness can be a little off putting. I did wear it to the beach and found it to be pleasant. I wore it to work once and, while I enjoyed it, found it to be a little much because it can be very strong.

Mocca91

Yuck. Makes me nauseus.

hanner2012

I loved it at first spray and enjoyed it through the dry-down. My immediate first thought was "this is a boy vanilla" in the best way possible.

tosel3

People have stopped me dead in my tracks with this one. Very summer/beginning fall frag. It's the most beautiful aquatic salt forward fragrance! I need to be at beach with this one! Dying to wear it again around summer!

I layer this You by Glossier for the most feminine beachy vibe : )

Chenyne

Not impressed with this one at all. Too light. Almost not there.

lastvalentines

This was my least favorite in the JHAG discovery set. These type of summery fragrances are usually hit or miss for me and this one was a huge miss. The opening is pretty nice, it has like a warm vanilla salty water smell but as soon as it sets on my skin i get this really unpleasant smell. It might've been the orchid? I don't know but it smelt like a spice you'd use while cooking, reminded me of like coriander. I will say it lasted a good while but i had to wash it off cause i hated it.

Nahobino

JHAG's perfume offerings have never been on my radar. Mostly because I rarely shop at Sephora and Sephora seems to be the only store that, to my understanding, sells JHAG perfumes. But while vacationing in the USA for winter break I came across a 50 ml bottle of Vanilla Vibes for $50 at a Ross store. All I knew about Vanilla Vibes was how polarizing of a scent it is considered by many, so I decided to shoot my shot and blind buy it.

I considered myself a vanilla perfume hater as vanilla perfumes and I have never really gotten along to the point I was outright avoiding every single perfume with vanilla listed in its notes composition. But... One spray of Vanilla Vibes and I have seen the error of my past tastes in scent profiles. Vanilla Vibes has converted me into a vanilla lover, and it easily gets a 10/10 from me for that reason alone.

On to the scent itself:
Vanilla Vibes offers a vanilla scent that falls under both the sunscreen and the play-dough houses of vanilla scents. It's a creamy and beach-y vanilla that isn't limited to solely being worn during the summer. I was expecting it to be somewhat similar smelling to Olympéa from Paco Rabanne but Olympéa has that stanky vanilla character to it that most vanilla perfumes from Paco Rabanne have. Vanilla Vibes is much more to my liking than Olympéa as Vanilla Vibes is much more tame and gentler than Olympéa. In fact, Vanilla Vibes is nothing like Olympéa so beats me as to why Olympéa is up there in the "Reminds me of" section, other than "salt" being a note both perfumes have in common. Alien Goddess from Mugler makes much more sense being in the Reminds me of" section, but Alien Goddess doesn't have a play-doughness to its vanilla and it also has a detectable coconut note to it. So while Alien Goddess and Vanilla Vibes are both summer themed vanilla perfumes, they are not clones or dupes of each other.

Though I've only had it for a few weeks, Vanilla Vibes has become a much loved perfume in my collection and I would consider purchasing a 100ml bottle whenever I finish up my 50ml bottle. But I wouldn't pay full price for it or any other JHAG perfume for that matter. Yes, Vanilla Vibes is a lovely scent but it's a light ( a skin scent, to be frank) perfume even if you choose to overspray yourself with it.

NoraL

Not very vanilla-y but very pretty for summer

ZuLemke

I have mixed feelings about this one. It's a great scent and I love it. It's like sunscreen in the best way possible. It just reminds you of summer, and the vanilla combined with all the other notes just makes you feel like you're on vacation. It's so relaxing. And because it smells like sunscreen (at least to me), it works for both men and women.

The issue I have is that because it smells like sunscreen to me, I feel like it should cost half of what it does. I would love to wear this one regularly, but I'm not sure I can justify the price tag. Might be a scent worth waiting for a sale before picking up.

VanillaV

A sweet, super powdery, vanilla-ish fragrance with good projection and sillage! Yet, it still manages to feel soft. You can smell it for many hours without trying too hard. I'm glad about that because I've grown tired of testing or blind-buying weak fragrances! I think '70s - '90s kids like myself (born in 1976) remember and expect a little more power from our perfumes. The first time I tried this (in store) I couldn't smell it properly because I had already tested more than I should have. Now that I've tried this alone at home I really like it! I wouldn't call this a gourmand. You don't feel like you'd want to taste it. It's not as tropical smelling as Beach Walk in my opinion, and it isn't 100% vanilla. Vanilla Vibes could be a little too sweet for some people. It's sweeter and stronger than you might think based on some of the reviews. If you don't appreciate powdery perfume you probably wouldn't like this one. Carefree and comfy at the same time. I sprayed this (four sprays total) on my shirt and wrists yesterday at around 4 p.m. It's 4:30 the next morning here now. I can still smell it on my shirt, and faintly on my skin. I think it smells better on skin than it does on clothing. This can be overwhelming when over-sprayed.

ultimate.bliss

I don't know what is going on inside my nose, but whenever I smell a perfume with salt note, it evokes something dirty and provocative in me. Vanilla Vibes is no exception, however, here it's a bit tamed with vanilla and orchid. This scent paints a picture of its wearer in my head, and the wearer is an angel on the outside, but devil on the inside. Seems sweet and innocent just like vanilla, but in reality, provocative, dirty-minded and twisted. I imagine young man or a woman with luscious long blonde hair and freckles who seems like they just descended from heaven, but if you get lured into their trap with their seeming innocency, you will be very surprised who you crossed paths with in reality.

Longevity not great but also not awful, scent can probably stay around for four hours before needing to reapply. Probably won't make it to my regular wears shelf because I feel it doesn't really match my vibe, but it's a beautiful and unique perfume that's definietly worth a try.

aleksandrej

very sweet but overly synthetic imo!

TonkaBean546

This perfume is really sweet on me and I love the feel of summer and beach it gives me. I will definitely return to it when the weather warms up

renamamiya

I actually disagree that this scent isn't sweet. It sits a bit sweeter on me, but I think my skin chemistry tends to make things sweeter, so if that's something that happens to you, there's that. I get vanilla and sandalwood with some coconutty salt and to me that is sweet enough. Beachy, warm, and summery, but I could honestly wear this year round. This is very wearable and I would not be offended by this scent being worn at any time. Definitely one of my favorite scents. I received a small amount of it as a gift from someone who got rid of their perfume collection and I honestly am thinking about buying a larger one. It smells like a sweeter cocoa butter lotion. If anyone has used the dove shea butter and vanilla body wash it's kind of like that without the yucky soap scent. I really like this fragrance.

Shimmer412

Since I really adore both beachy/coconut fragrances and vanilla fragrances I was absolutely thrilled with Vanilla Vibes! I do feel that the name is a bit misleading and I was really thankful that whenever I’d mentioned in a fragrance group that I was planning on getting Lust For Sun that several people suggested I check
out Vanilla Vibes as well. I ended up getting both and really loving both!

Vanilla Vibes is such a lovely beachy scent! It’s a beautiful, salty, and aquatic vanilla! It’s not something I’d consider really sweet or gourmand vanilla, but if
you love beachy, vanilla, and aquatic scents then I very highly recommend this! It reminds me a lot of Alien Goddess and Kayali Utopia Vanilla Coco 21! Even somewhat of Sol de Janeiro Rio Radiance! I rotate this throughout the warmer weather with some of my other favorites like Tom Ford Soleil Blanc, Replica Beach Walk, Nest Sunkissed Hibiscus, Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess, JHAG Lust for Sun, Kate Spade Live Colorfully, and Bobbi Brown Beach

Gadgeteer

Sampled this a few days ago! It reminds me of summer somehow. I like that it's multifaceted. It isn't a sweet vanilla like I was hoping for, it isn't even very vanilla. Kinda reminds me of Tonka 25. I like this fragrance, but I think it should be renamed.

acnicolov

I think I would have loved this scent years ago, at the height of my beach bum phase. It definitely brings you to the beach, the summer, the heat, the sea salt in the air… sadly it reminds me too much of the spray-on hair conditioners I use in more humid weather. So not really something I want to smell in my skin, certainly not while it’s out of season.

kbelarmino

My initial smell of this fragrance on my skin immediately gave me a strong burnt rubber smell, with a scent of typical coconut sunscreen smell. The dry down remains the rubbery and synthetic scent, with a slight musky and woody undetone but I get no vanilla whatsoever.

mercedizzy

This is one of my favourite recent fragrances. It smells exactly like a whiff of the beach breeze on a summer afternoon. The salt and vanilla sit so creamy but there’s something almost aquatic? I also get some masculine notes that remind me of cologne ; nevertheless I find this more female leaning. I loved wearing this to the beach on holiday, such a pretty perfume!

update- this is now my all time favourite fragrance. The vanilla becomes richer upon maceration and this is my signature fragrance for summer- it’s just so perfectly balanced and despite being linear, it smells like a real memory rather than just a scent

warmcashmere

I think a better name for this scent would be Summer Vibes. It smells like sunscreen with a touch of Off! bug repellant. But not in a completely bad way. I didn't get much vanilla.

CatOwned

I smelled this at Sephora and couldn't smell anything???

cgaleb

This perfume surprised me. First of all, I didn’t think after sampling on a card that it would last at all on my skin, but 5 hours later I can still smell it. Second, the name Vanilla Vibes made me think it would be a rehash of other vanillas I have tried, but it’s definitely different. I get a tropical vibe from it, and the florals (orchid) blend really well with the vanilla, creating a sweet (but not too sweet) and easy going scent profile. I can easily see this being a summer perfume. While I’m not going to rush out to buy it, I was pleasantly surprised with the sample and would gladly wear this again in warmer months.

JurassicGibby

Iso e Super with an artificial, synthetic, nasty vanilla. Overpriced. Not even pleasant.

SuurkaalsPoeten

I was so bummed because this didnt smell anything like I had imagined. The bottle is so beautiful and I imagined a vanilla scent as in summer-nightsbythebeach-coolbreeze-warmskin-softcoldsand-salttastingskin.. haha, you know? I had it all figured out xD..

Oh but alas! All I get from this perfume is play dough or a cheap vanillascented candle from the dollar store... Sigh..

Also - I don't know how to detect salt as a scent? This is new to me - can anyone explain? The salt in my kitchen cabinets doesnt smell of anything really. Not even the expensive seasalt. Maybe its my ability to smell that is compromized, IDK..

The disappointment aside, I'm glad it was just a sample and I didn't blind buy this one.. and hey maybe It'll work OK as a layering-scent ;)

BrokenSniffer

I purchased a sample of this after falling in love with a sample of Tom Fords Eau de Soleil Blanc. I loved the TF scent but the coconut was so powdery in it that I could taste it in the back of my throat and nose for two days. I read someones review that they preferred Vanilla Vibes as it was less powdery and they were very right! Now, I'm not saying this is going to be on par with Tom Ford or anything else. I'm just here to say, I adore this scent and for someone who maybe is looking for a cheaper alternative to that scent, give this a try! I also layer this scent with vanilla cashmere body lotion, Choco Musk or a few others for a really gorgeous gormound!

Emmibonchow

Smells like vanilla and coconut. It’s not listed in this page but it’s definitely coconut forward. Not sunscreen… not. It just smells coconutty and vanilla but doesn’t smell like play doh. It’s a win. It’s a safe blind buy if you like vanilla and coconut. I don’t smell all those other notes. Its good enough for year round wear. Most fragrances sit close on me as I can’t stand overspraying so I wear what I like when I like. And you should too. If it smells good wear it. It’s the fragrance you smell… you can’t smell a season. You associate smells with seasons; like pine and spice with fall and winter. But you can’t actually smell winter. So wgaf when you wear it? I’m awake after 2 hrs sleep because I have to take my kid to the park. Take this review as that. Blunt honesty of someone who doesn’t want to be non-sleeping right now.

GrenadeGirl

This one is polarising.. even within myself, it took me several outings to work out how I REALLY felt about it because it genuinely is just a bit different to everything else I own. Yes, it is a bit sunscreen.. but only a bit. Yes it is vanilla, but really not in the gourmand candy sweet kind of way. Yes it is CERTAINLY aquatic.. beautifully so... and that and the whole salt and florals thing just lift it up and make it a real stand-out to me - it is in a category of its own.

Ultimate verdict? I LOVE it!!! Proper big bottle already bought kind of love it!!! I love it just as much in cold weather as hot too, the whole vanilla ice cream on a snowy day thing (maybe that one is just me :-) )....

Because it is unconventional.. and it really is.. I would say test it out first, but if you love light and airy aquatics this one is definitely worth a go!

in.limbo

I really wanted to like this, as I LOVE a non-gourmand, creatively interpreted vanilla. However, although I like the opening, once it settles into the heart of the fragrance this perfume quite literally makes me nauseous. Perhaps it's the orchid note? I'm not sure, but whatever note I dislike in Vanilla Vibes is the same exact middle note that I dislike in Maison Margiela's "Sailing Day" (maybe someone could help me out here and tell me what that note is? That way I can avoid it in the future, since it clearly works horribly with my skin chemistry).

When it comes down to a fragrance interpretation of a day at the beach, I'll take Margiela's "Beach Walk" any day.

BD2-5-0

I get barely anything from this but salty sandy pencil shavings. I get what they were going for, it definitely has a beach vibe but the name is misleading there’s almost no vanilla. Definitely feels unisex. Sits close to the skin immediately with 3 hours of longevity. This and many other JHAG fragrances seem to depend greatly on your skin chemistry.

Thank god I only got a small sample because this is not for me.

pennyligeia

I love it. Something reminds me of Olympia.
If you layer it with a sandalwood type scent, it becomes really something delicious. I do that for fall and I have people complimenting me and asking what it is.

LauraS1992

I love this perfume and it's my daily wear for work. It is a really fresh, light smell that smells very 'aquatic' but also I love the vanilla whiffs. I love to layer it with a deeper vanilla, such as Kayali Vanilla or the Kumbaa Made vanilla oil.

normalgirl0000

Smells salty and sweaty like a used yoga mat. The vanilla notes are barely there-- unfortunate for such a misleading name.

HeatherNS

This reminds me of a shampoo-y vanilla. Its sweet, but not gourmand, and the floral/aquatic notes gives it a shampoo vibe. It lasts all day on me and it's the perfect summer vanilla, but this would be good in all seasons I think.

Sorry_babyx

If you look at my profile you’ll see that i only have love for salty aquatics and hot and nasty sickly sweet bakery gourmands and this is just the most perfect marriage between the two. I mean it, I had a sample that i liked but just purchased a full size and its a big LOVE!!!

This scent takes you on a real journey, it opens with you arriving at the beach, earlier in the day and you immediately get hit w that salty marine sea breeze. Nothing but salt and freshness. Actually a lot like my other holy grail, Salt Air by Skylar, but while Salt Air stays pretty linear, JHAG evolves into something else. After a while, you feel the sun warm up and toast your skin, so you put on a suntan lotion, that’s the vanilla sweetness playing in the background of a salty air, its not a gourmand heavy vanilla, it’s airy, bright, fun and flirty. After a few hours, the sun is blazing, the ocean has warmed up and you can feel your skin tanning, the scent completely changed into this, no more fresh marine breeze, its warm, woody, deep and coconutty, it’s nearing sunset and someone near by has started a bonfire and roasting marshmallows and you keep catching wiffs of smoke and sweetness, the hot sand and warm ocean water. It’s delicious, but not heavy or too masculine. As the night sets and the air cools, the salt lingers somewhere in the background.

That was where my experience w this scent almost ended as I sprayed my arm during the day, and it stayed and evolved well into the night. But to my surprise and delight, I still smelled it when I woke up the next morning and it was strong! And it had returned back to it’s opening of salty waters and a hint of vanilla and some florals also appeared. Wow wow wow! This is incredible performance you rarely get these days. Truly a masterpiece of a scent and will now be in my signature rotation. It’s a big love.

**Edit: ive had this for 5 months now and my god this is incredible.
This is QU—A—LI—TY!!!! Only 2 sprays and it projects well and lasts 48hrs easy, but lingers forever. Seriously, for a mid tier price point, this is scent luxury and probably the only frag on my collection i don’t dare layering with anything else cause it stands so strong on its own.

Why do I love this?! I typically hate salt notes. I find almost every salt perfume to be an instant scrubber. Vanilla Vibes evokes the feeling of a long day at the beach where get out of the ocean and still have a trace of saltwater on your skin and you're walking though a luxury hotel back to your room. This is so much better than Beach Walk. Vanilla Vibes is smooth and Beach Walk is screechy and smells like stale sunscreen. I wouldn't purchase a full bottle of this but would definitely consider a travel size for future vacations. Vanilla Vibes also pairs beautifully with the Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Cream!

jaimepenney

For me, this is stunning. You must love salt notes because this has a strong salt note that hit you initially and you either love it or hate it. Also Vanilla Vibes is not a gourmand vanilla. It's dry and not sweet. It dries down slightly powdery. It's definitely a beachy, sunscreeny type fragrance, but not cloying. It lasts all day and smells amazing. I've received many compliments on this fragrance.

jezebelblue

This was better than expected. I had no interest in it because I'm not huge on vanilla, and the idea of this just didn't excite me. But... I got it for cheap, so fogured why not. Glad I tried it, it was better than expected. At first, it seemed kind of harsh and chemically on me. After a few minutes, it started to get "softer." After about half an hour, it smelled very good. I agree with the beachy vibe, and this was a go-to for me during the heat wave here in the south. Will I purchase again? Probably not. But this was better than I thought it would be.

pinkgatitos

Summery and beachy. It opens with a beachy, sunscreen kinda scent, in a good way. It feels young, yet not childish. It doesn't last much on me. Great for layering with other fragrances.

aromafantastic

This is a salty, non sweet vanilla, with just a hint of sun tan lotion. There are many perfumes with a suntan lotion DNA but this is a bit different. It’s well balanced and the salty marine note gives it a more mature and airy feeling.
If you are looking for a gourmand vanilla this is definetively not it.
It’s the perfect scent for summer, but I also enjoy it during colder months.
It is pretty linear throughout, and I get about 4-5 hours before it either disappears, or I go anosmic to it. I still can make up my mind what’s happening there.
I do enjoy this fragrance, but I wouldn’t consider it would be a mass pleaser.
It’s and easy reach fragrance, that I keep coming back to from time to time.

Jujas

On my skin this absolutely SINGS! Airy, aquatic vanilla blended to perfection imo. Is it linear? Yes. And for that I’m actually thankful! No surprise dry down, this stays the same throughout. It performs beautifully in the heat and manages to project phenomenally as my skin heats up; radiating that same airy, beautiful vanilla without ever becoming suffocating.

This is an enormous compliment getter for me, which tbh out of the MANY scents I rotate between this is the only one (besides Ani Nishane) I’ve had strangers actually comment how “good I smell” and ask what fragrance I’m wearing. Surprisingly for me, it’s usually after I’ve had it on a few hours and feel rather anosmic to it. Obviously others can still smell it even when I can’t.
Guess it’s that whole radiating thing it does so well!

And of course a lot has to do with body chemistry, so I can understand others not liking it. But as for me and my chemistry? We say Vanilla Vibes is an absolute masterpiece.

nekozoe

Sadly, I did not like this at all... If I wanted to smell like this perfume, I'd be better off rubbing sunscreen all over my skin. It reeks of a salty, beach-y, and plastic smell.

PerfumeWhore101

I really don't like this at all. It smells almost like plastic on my skin (I guess it is the salt). However, I sprayed it 2 hours ago and I can still smell it (I'll have to scrub it off soon).

krissiekat

no no no i really do not like this. it makes me feel kinda sick. idk what it is.. the combo of sweet vanilla with a cucumber-ish smell combined with metal, almost bloody. it smells kinda plasticky and thick. ughhhh this is the first perfume im actually kinda grossed out by... a scrubber for sure

and it also kinda reminds me of a male substitute dance teacher i had in like third grade who wore a perfume that i remember HATING.

Nett334

The initial spray for me is pure vanilla, I found no underlying notes. The vanilla is light and playful. 3 hours later the dry down is still mostly vanilla with a powdery tone to it. I enjoy the wear of this perfume, it is notable without being over powering. I love aquatic and citrus scents and to me the aquatic or salt aspect was lacking and the vanilla over powered that. Overall I like this perfume and am happy i purchase just a travel size in it as it is not an everyday wear for me but a fun option to choose from occasionally.

cherrydays

roughly, shortly said:
a not-so-summery replica beach walk meets play doh.
not that sharp vanilla you might be used to smelling, but instead its an ACTUAL vanilla, like vanilla extract.

danajeans

I LOVE beach scents and sprayed the sample thinking I was getting a gourmand. Imagine my surprise when it smelled like a gorgeous summer day on the Cape! I LOVE that type of surprise. This is a salty wonder, despite not giving me too much vanilla. The longer it sat on my skin, the more I knew I'd smelled something similar, and it took a few hours before I realized - this is very close to Estee Lauder's Bronze Goddess. I really enjoyed Bronze Goddess, so I wasn't mad about the similarities and it gave me a new addition to my ever growing collection of Perfumes that Make Me Smell Like Summer.

KatelynMLovesPerfume

Vanilla Vibes was not it for me at all. I bought a sample of this perfume thinking I mean how could this be a miss for me looking at the notes. I get aquatic salty vanilla from this scent. And I think it made me realize that I do not like aquatic salty scents but just regular salty is nice if that makes sense lol. It just reminds me of when kids or dogs are outside for a long time and they come back and they have that outside scent lol which I really don't like. And it has vanilla but for me that's all that sticks out to me. I couldn't, but my mom said she will finish up the rest of the sample. Until next time!

SSolstice

This smelled fantastic on paper but sadly did not jive with my skin chemistry at all. Dries down to a strange, watery, metallic note which is hard to get past.

ciaramyrea

salty sweet vanilla that’s pretty non offensive. definitely not worth the $110 price tag at sephora. i found this at ross for $50 and immediately grabbed it, longevity is moderate and the sillage sits close to your skin.

Algebra

I love this scent by itself or layering. Office safe or any close contact area. It’s also a year around scent.

Crys777

It smelled like sunscreen and playdough when I first tried it out. Now it’s a bit nicer after several tries. It smells like the beach, salt, slightly vanilla, and some more masculine leaning notes that in my opinion save the perfume from being a complete sunscreen bomb. And... the salt, for one, also helps it to not have a cloying, heavy sunscreen smell. It’s not my signature scent or anything but I don’t completely hate it. It’s okay. Edit: Two days of experimenting with this perfume and I like it more now. It smells very realistic, and yummy, like salty skin with vanilla and some woodsy notes, along with the musk and orchid somewhere in there. It’s very well blended to my nose. I much prefer this to Beach Walk, it’s quite a bit different from that one. I have two bottles so I’ll be gifting one to my sister for her birthday in a couple months. I’d say it’s perfect for summer and warmer weather but I am excited to try it out in cold weather. I’ll report back once I do. It’s fall right now and I am loving it, so we shall see. Staying power and sillage are moderate. It’s a very unique perfume! Sits close to my skin. It smells less and less like sunscreen the more I wear it. I walked into the kitchen today and my mom said she could smell it, so there’s that. I never know if people can smell my perfume. She described what she smelled as “vanilla,” so that’s interesting. Edit: I am absolutely addicted to this!! Delicious! Always give a perfume a little time before you make your decision. Your nose has to get used to it. Oh my, am I in love with Vanilla Vibes. Good job, Juliette has a gun.

V33ra

To me, it smells like the coconut water and aloe vera shampoo from Garnier.

Princessy

Salty vanilla, that leans more masculine to my nose.

dandyhoratio

Smells exactly like eating ice cream while walking past mangroves after spending all day at the beach. YMMV re: how much you like the extremely salty scent of mangroves, but to me, they're familiar and comforting. It isn't a particularly clean scent like some other salt scents, though, so if you don't like how you smell straight out of seawater, give it a miss! However, I'll be wearing it almost every day this summer :)

SuperSueChick

Vanilla Vibes is as if the Tom Ford's perfume chemist had the bottles of Soleil Blanc, Musk Pure, and Metallique all in his hands, tripped, and accidentally spilled all three.
As that chemist went to get something to clean the spill.
The JHAG fellow saw the spill and somehow tried to pick it up, but his little towel absorbed all the coconut and this concoction was born.
Wa-la, a new creation that Tom Ford spilled and JHAG picked up and repackaged.
F*ing Amazing, oh wait, Tom Ford does have that already, lol!
I like it a lot!
Its not Vanilla or cold weather cozy.
This is all the above without the coconut.
And I love me some Soleil Blanc, Metallique, and F*ing Amazing, but sometimes I don't want the coconut and wish for a touch of sweet.
This is perfectly it.
Its suntan-y, and eternal.
I get 12+hrs of lasting power.
If you want to leave a trail just apply more.
To be conservative and just arms length silliage 1-2 sprays.
It really performs great in hot weather.
Hope this helps, enjoy ツ

Glyph

I have to give whoever formulated this fragrance credit: it almost exactly reminds me of what my siblings smelled like coming back from the beach getting into the family car when I was young, with the odd mixture of saline and faint sweetness.

But it's not a fragrance that makes me happy. If anything, it makes me slightly queasy... it's as if I know that when we drive back home from the beach someone might become carsick from having eaten too much saltwater taffy. It's true I can imagine someone young liking this, and it certainly is distinctive. But it's absolutely not for me.

Max Tatum

Reviewing this as a male whose wife uses it. I love it. It has gentle feel of youth, tenderness and innocence. Imagine a typical Nivea comercial blue eyed blonde on a sunny day in a white male shirt wrapped in white bedsheets. This is how she would smell.

chridela

I was so stoked to get this scent but regret buying it now. IMHO, the vanilla is ruined by a metallic (not so much marine) salty note that renders it flat. There is no development/evolution of this scent when on skin and this would be okay if the scent was pleasant to me, but that's not the case. At this price point, there are so many superior vanilla fragrances out there.

maidem

Unpleasant smell for me. The saltiness does not go well on my skin. I am not averse to fragrances using salt (I like wood sage and sea salt from Jo Malone). But for whatever reason, this particular blend smells really strange to me. Definitely do not blind but because it is not your typical vanilla scent.

QueOndaGuera

Salty vanilla at the beach. Nothing too complicated about it. It doesn’t remind me of sunscreen fortunately due to the lack of coconut and the vanilla stays light and airy instead of dominant which makes for a great summer scent. I think it’s similar to beach walk but the salt note makes the difference. Lasts most of the work day surprisingly. I love this fragrance.

PepinoMarino

I have no other word to describe this scent other than pleasant. Extremenly pleasant. It's easy to enjoy, it is sweet but fresh and airy and light and makes me feel like Im laying on a cloud on a nice sunny day. On top of that on my skin it performs very well. It projects well and lasts well (but I must say that I am an over-sprayer. Two sprays on my arms, two on my shoulders, 2 on the back of my neck and 1 on the top of my head because I'm a short king). However I trully feel like it would be hard to over spray Vanilla Vibes, I dont think anyone will find this fragrance offensive because of how airy it is.

Definitely not blind buy safe because of how particular this interpretation of vanilla is. Nonetheless It was a pleasant surprise when I smelled it. The scent didnt scream 'vanilla', at first it reminded me of taking a big bite out of a perfectly ripe sweet plum (I assume because of the orchid ???) But with time I began to actually feel the vanilla in it and I am in LOVE. I will repurchase when I finish my bottle.

Dont like the name though.

Kjkoni

This is every suntan lotion scent already available in the world of fragrance, but with a slight vanilla tilt, just slight though, the added salt note does read slightly metallic to my nose and gives it a tang that I don’t know if I love when mixed with my skin chemistry. It fares well on a hot summer day and seems to radiate nicely off of the skin in that environment. But I don’t think I would repurchase, I prefer the scent of Sol de Janeiro Rio Radiance that also fits in this scent category for a much lower price.

v0n

Straight up sun tan lotion for me, I'm not digging it. Smells nice but I won't personally purchase it for myself.

msudersin

Upon initial spray, that coconutty beachy scent instantly reminds of MM Replica Beach Walk. I barely get vanilla. It’s not a scent profile I like, so will not be getting a full bottle.

Eman Gheba

Beachy salty skin 😍 I love to layer this with other fragrances. Pro tip: if you find a particular scent too sweet or fruity…layer it with this and the saltiness cuts down on the sweetness/fruitiness.

DaintyEssence

Yup. Salty vanilla. its just instantly bring you to the beach coast with first breath.
Kinda sweet but not like a regular sugar candy - more like cotton candy - very light. This sweetness comes to you from nearest vendor who makes this colorful cotton-candies and scent comes with sea breeze in hot weather.
I would rather wear it in autumn or spring maybe (not winter - you need more warm fragrance in winter) just when you have lack of summery vibes to get into the mood.

it is not mature vanilla.. all this vibes remind me of childhood. girlish scent 😅

for me silage is like on length of my arm
lasting was about 8 h

midwestmeowmeow

Not too sweet, I really like the vanilla and salt notes. It is fun and light, ideal for summer days.

CatPeople

The most realistic beachy perfume for me, and that's because the orchid isn't pronounced as much as in other (similar concept) perfumes. That being said the performance is terrible at least for my recent purchased bottle, 1 hour and it's gone.

Whateverwhocares

Wannabe LV beach frag. Salty, aquatic, synthetic vanilla compound. Fruity, musky undertone. Cheap smelling.

Skulks more than it projects. Not very wearable, despite being breezy and airy. Feminine.

SweetBonnebelle

it smells like Alien Goddess. more coconut than vanilla despite there being no coconut note. its nice, but a little disappointing as it smells more like sunscreen than what I expected

rosewoodoud555

A sweet, salty vanilla fragrance. More lactonic than Beach Walk. There's something that gives off a heavy, lotion coconut scent. Smells a bit sunscreeny. Gonna be short cuz it's not for me, I like my vanilla gourmand, but this was more like a mature, coconut lotion. I'm still sticking with Soleil Blanc

Edit: Vanilla Vibes is one of those frags that get better with time. Long lasting, projects, slightly sweet and becomes like a second skin yummy scent. 6 hours after first spray even after showering with soap I can still smell it quite prominently. It's built to last. Quality and performance is impressive

eva.daisy.88

It is a very likable light vanilla. Perfect as a day scent for beautiful summer day. With salty notes, it instantly transfers me to the beach, ocean waves, fun in the summertime. But it is light, not very complex, stays linear and disappears after 2 hours.

carrico1986

It's definitely an aquatic vanilla scent. I do pick up the salt notes, tonka bean and vanilla notes the most. If soleil blanc and paradiso gemma had a baby this would be it. Good for summer and daytime.

Nataliajj

I got a tester of this. I started using it in the summer, super hot weather. It smelled nice vanilla clean and like a beach kind of. But I didn’t like it enough to buy it. Then I tested it during colder weather and it’s so different. It’s elegant clean, creamy vanilla at least on me. I am considering purchasing this and using it in the winter/fall as it’s a nice clean vanilla that’s not too thick, ( I hate gourmands, sweet and thick vanillas)

Charli3

Salty skin scent, smells like a subdued version of Clean Reserve skin to me. Anybody relate to that?
Performance is abysmal though- I have to overspray massively

Pez_Enelrio

They made a very very summery scent without coconut which is unusual
Sandalwood can come across a bit coconutty sometimes
It is a simple, minimalistic, elegant/classy summer fragrance, leaning feminine
As most of JHG fragrances it stays close to the skin and you get rather breezes of it than a huge blast throughout the day. Longevity is OK but intensity and projection are weak

kitkatya

astringent, synthetic, disappointing vanilla. good for layering but like i'm bored

SeaElle

I cannot be the only one that smells Womanity in this? It’s only missing the fig more, but it’s unusual that this is almost identical. I sprayed one on each wrist and was almost offended at how close this is to the Mugler.

Like many others have said, this isn’t a vanilla fragrance. This is a watery, marine floral fragrance. I’ve been around large quantities of orchids at once (botanical gardens) and they had a very, very faint scent. Nothing like this. This is a sweet white floral of some kind, but the exact flower is escaping me. It vaguely reminds me of the floral note in Eau d’Italie so I guess I want to say magnolia? Magnolia is one of the few white florals that doesn’t instantly give me a migraine so I’m pleased with it. It’s much stronger to me than the salt note, which is present but buried beneath the flowers on my skin.

It has that aqueous “blue” vibe that doesn’t really smell like an actual beach, but the fantasy of a beach. It smells how a beach looks on a postcard. It’s well done, but I’m not a fan is this sort of accord. I get the tiniest hints of the salt of a beach and if it came through more powerfully on my skin, I think I would like this a lot more. There’s a touch of powdery sandalwood. I smell musk too, but not the animalic kind, but rather the drier sheets musk.

Pretty. Not interesting to me, but not bad either.

wafflesandsyrup

It's a nice, by-the-beach summery scent, that smells a little bit salty with vanilla, not one of those lotion beachy scents. It gives off a very relaxing holiday vibe. The performance on the other hand...... longevity who? projection who? I had 50 ml bottle and I wore this scent out two or three times at best (and before stepping outside I had to spray like 10 or 15 times). I sprayed up all of the bottle as a at-home scent, I couldn't leave the house wearing something that would be gone in twenty minutes. For the price they ask it's a massive no-go for me, even though I really really wanted to love it. What a bummer.

East River Pearl

Interesting scent. Not my taste but it's definitely unique. On me: a very strong skin scent. Musk heavy, salty, skin scent with a hint of vanilla. The vanilla is there but not too sweet or too present. It's a nice vanilla but it's really woven under the salt/musk smell. Ever so slightly aquatic. Somewhat masculine leaning.

Babey

Never thought of reviewing it even though i've owned a bottle for a couple months now. Today it fell and broke on the ground so i'm considering this as a "farewell".
It's an original smell, the scent of an escapist, a sweet contrast between the beachy smell and the city architecture. The fragrance of a nostalgic dreamer, someone who's always thinkin about summertime when trapped inside the capitalistic ways of modern life. I smell mostly salt and a faint not too sweet vanilla, it's very airy and ozonic. Almost non present but still there, exactly like skin after a long day at the beach and washed up tanning lotion.

eelii

I was so ready to love Vanilla Vibes, but after I sprayed it the first time I was a bit underwhelmed by it. Maybe I set my expectations too high…

Tried it again and now I like it more, but it’s definitely not a scent that “wows” me. It’s very pleasant, but not exciting. Layering it with JHAG Not a perfume definitely boosts it a little, which is good.

At first I get a pretty dry feeling. Not super salty, but like a very dried vanilla. After it drys down it gets way better, though. It’s a slightly sweeter vanilla, but not an edible one. The salty notes are there to make it more interesting.

It stays close to my skin so I think it can be a great everyday perfume for summer, especially for those days where you want to smell good but don’t want to make a statement with your fragrance.

It gives me the feeling of “freshly out of the shower with a nice body lotion on, but I live by the sea and spend most days at the beach”.

My husband tried it as well and said he doesn’t like on himself because it’s too feminine. I personally think it’s unisex and could easily see men wearing. (Even on my husband, it didn’t feel too feminine to me)

I probably won’t repurchase it after I finished the 7.5ml travel size bottle I got, but who knows.. it could also grow on me…

vibrant.girl

It’s just “fine”… and that’s not good enough for me. A nice enough sunscreeny, salty vanilla… but with none of the warmth or sunshine desired. It’s definitely more of a VIBE than a statement, and the orchid note comes across as a thick magnolia to my nose.

Fenissa

The comparisons between Vanilla Vibes and Beach Walk are at odds in my opinion.
Beach Walk is a sweet coconut-based yellow floral.
Vanilla Vibes is a woody, salty vanilla with a little hint of sweetness.
They don't smell even remotely similar. Are they both beachy? Yes, but that's as much as they have in common. If you are buying one expecting it to smell like the other you'll be disappointed. The same goes for Alien Goddess. It has nothing in common with this scent profile.
Vanilla Vibes is heavy on salt and Sandalwood notes. A little Tonka bean and Benzoin on a bed of vanilla give it a sexy hint of candied smokiness which is the real joy in the dry down. Can easily be worn in cold weather too.
Perfectly unisex. Longevity and silage are both moderate to strong.
The ombre glass bottle is a beautiful thing to behold, the atomiser has a good spray, the lid is quite heavy and is clearly of good quality.
Vanilla Vibes won't be for everyone, but if you enjoy your fragrances woody and not too sweet you might fall in love with her. I certainly have.

brandybasisty

Niche aquatic unisex vanilla scent that has the strength of a body spray. That's it. I don't get any salt, nor understand the hype. Mugler Alien Goddess also didn't do it for me, so maybe this scent profile doesn't work on my skin.

betheljaviles

I absolutely ADORE this scent for summer! The vanilla is definitely apparent, albeit more salty than sweet and gourmand. I definitely get fresh, salty ocean beach vibes and it will definitely invoke feelings of nostalgia. On the dry down, it does smell a bit like sunscreen but not in an unpleasant way. The salt is just the right amount, in my opinion. Definitely will find its place in my collection.

Taevious

Beach Walk with the most subtle of twists but it's basically the same scent in a different bottle.

Palmtrees507

I really like this. But I’ve noticed to me ALL the testers can be very different from the big bottles. The Vanilla vibes tester was stronger like between Not a perfume & Superdone. The big bottle however beautiful in its own, smells to me more like a sister to Replicas Beach walk. I’m smelling each on different hands, and I can tell which is which, but it’s so similar. I’m more of a BIR by Valentino/ and Superdone strong type of perfume wearer… but these very airy, light marine smells are so fun. It’s like they could equalize any sour smell with this airy scent. That’s how I’d describe it… the opposite of sour.

IAmStaka

Sweet, sweet vanilla + little salty bits.
I disagree that this is for summer. It's too sweet. Would be cloying in hot weather.
If anything it's for spring and fall.

karobi

Like eating a just-cooled sugar cookie on a salty New England beach as it gets dusky and just the tiniest bit chillier and you can still smell a little of the tropical coconutty sunscreen you put on earlier, creamy driftwood and sand. Just like the beach, but make it gourmand - because this IS pretty gourmand to my nose. The vanilla and salt combine into this really mouthwatering quality. This scent is addictive and I cannot stop smelling myself when I wear it! It lasts fairly long on skin, 4-6 hours, but even longer on clothes. Wow, I wasn't expecting to love this one as much as I do!

Trishalalalala

Salty, vanilla, not too overpowering, office wearable.

JLaw7

Salty beach vanilla

HannahRosesAreRed

I like Vanilla Vibes–in theory.

In theory, it has some powerhouse and likable notes, like grounding tonka bean, airy sea salt, powdery musk and ambery benzoin. In theory, this is the recipe for a sweet, likeable, sunny fragrance. In theory, this is the fun sunscreen-gourmand scent of my summer dreams. In theory.

In practice, Vanilla Vibes was OK. Just OK. I liked the mild, not-too-sweet, not cloying, mineral vanilla scent. It was decidedly less gourmand and more mild sunscreen–in fact, it was a much milder, intimate fragrance than I expected. It was also a decidedly poor performer–one hour on skin, then nothing. Fragrance-wise, it's an appealing scent, nothing offensive or obnoxious, rather straightforward and linear. This could be oversprayed without offending anyone–especially given its poor sillage and longevity. Overall, pretty underwhelming but not bad.

nonijan

I bought a travel size of this to go to Tulum in 2021. I liked it at the time and wanted the smaller size bottle but 100ml was all that was in stock. Purchased it anyway.

Something about it is sharp and irritating to my nose. I'll only wear a light spray of it on super hot/humid vacations. And since I have the bottle I never really bring it with me because I carry on. It's not even worth selling since you can purchase for so cheap on fragrancenet. Wish I had known at the time.

I'm really shocked about how much positive attention this gets. Will give the house one more try with sunny side up but I'm not feeling optimistic.

Lasura

This is a perfect scent for the summer season! I tried to wear this during winter months, thinking it would be a sunny reminder of the summer, but it did not work at all. All I got was a watery flower note and I thought this is not a scent for me. But now, tried again, on a very hot day and somehow this works differently. Salt and vanilla comes through, warmth in the base is like butter, almost smelling like a sunscreen. Very pleasant scent, nothing exraordinaire, but a very nice beach scent.

randomname

The salt is overwhelming. I keep trying to like this, because if not for the super strong salt note I think it would be great. But the salt never goes away. Kind of smells like vanilla floor cleaner. Actually no, vanilla air freshener sprayed over a urinal. I’ve tried this every way I possibly can, and it goes urinal every time.

I gave this to my male roommate, and it smells way better on him. Longevity is good. I had to wash a shirt twice to get the stink out. So ymmv, it could smell very soft and chill on you, or like a men’s bathroom.

Update: It also smells like a urinal on my roommate after like an hour. I just hate this I guess.

feuermaiden

I prefer my vanilla scents to be sweet and creamy, and this is kinda like I'm eating a vanilla ice cream on the beach. But it's not in a cone, it's in a cup and you're smelling more salt water than ice cream. There's not much warmth here. This one is nice, but not for me.

poodleParty

I wonder if the batches are inconsistent, because when I tested it last year, it was perfect -- salty & fresh vanilla.

I tested again today, and it smells like straight up salt water. It's been an hour since I've sprayed it generously on both my arms, and it never developed into anything different.

Oh well, there are plenty of other "beachy" perfumes out there, so I'll just move on.

Jscents39

I used to like this because it wasn’t a typical vanilla. I got through my travel spray and won’t be repurchasing though. Just a little too basic. There is that salty/tropical element which would be great maybe more for 20 year olds. I like that it isn’t a thick vanilla but just doesn’t wow me. Still, fresh and beachy take on vanilla.

Vertsu

On my skin smells like dried seaweed, salt and smoke. I can't detect the vanilla in it. The smoke smell dominates. I'm disappointed.

aflakes

I love the dry down of Vanilla Vibes. Definitely not the biggest fan of the salt note because it smells too much like outside. Like wet dog with a hint of vanilla. I realize it's supposed smell like you've put sun tan on and your skin is baking in the sun while you're out on the beach...maybe I would appreciate it on the beach but not if I'm wearing it casually indoors somewhere. Nevertheless, not my favorite but I can tolerate it since the salt fades away. Overall, this is a great fragrance for the summer.

Update: This was my go to scent ALL summer long!!! ☀️

bahar1208

This is what Olympea probably wanted or should be. It is a true crowd pleaser that smells like a vanilla scented sunscreen but in a very good way, it's like summer in a bottle. Great longevity.

Elldee

I did not like the salt note the first time I wore Vanilla Vibes but I kept getting whiffs of it throughout the day from my blouse, and it was really good. The more I wear this fragrance, the more I love it. It’s a great, light summery fragrance. Vanilla is my favorite note and this is such a different take on vanilla it has me hooked. I already got a back up bottle.

perfumeloverxox

I think the bottle design perfectly portrays the scent - it’s salty and somewhat masculine leaning to my nose.

Wouldn't recommend as a blind buy. Especially if you’re a vanilla fan and think you’ll like it because it’s called ‘vanilla vibes’ - it’s a very unusual take on vanilla imo (one you may love, but equally not.)

Nataliajj

It really does smell like a beach. On my skin and on the tester paper the smell is super faint and barely there. I would not buy it because I feel like u can achieve this same smell with lotion.

Strawberrythinking...

Like vanilla sunscreen applied near a particularly salty ocean on a sunny day. A very beachy fragrance which is, in my opinion, too salty.

𖦹Selene𖦹

A different take on vanilla. Not my vibe. First spray it made me think of the smell you get when lifting the lid off a generic vanilla candle. On dry down it got waxier, and smelled like the hot wax of said candle after burning. I know coconut isn't listed but I smell it. Something about this perfume gives me a familiar childhood smell but I can't place it. I have experienced this with a few JHAG fragrances. I wonder why? This lasts forever on my skin.

rc12

This smells good on me for the first 30 mins, salty summery vanilla. It's not a gourmand vanilla, if you only like sweet perfumes you probably won't enjoy this one. Unfortunately after 30 mins on me then it turns to burnt rubber.
Lasted 5-6 hours on my skin but I could still smell it on my clothes the next day - the nice scent in the beginning not the burnt rubber.
Try before you buy a full bottle, this scent is one that's more heavily influenced by skin chemistry.

Ghadah02

Most vanilla fragrances tend to be heavy/gourmand, but this is a fresh smooth soft one and I am proud to find a vanilla scent that is not too sweet.

It also feels more like you just got out of the spa using a vanilla scent, so you got this vanilla scent in your skin.

Smells exactly like bath salt soak vanilla scented I like how they smell.

This is such a flexible fragrance! To my nose, yes, it is similar to MM Beachwalk but something about that one was too salty and synthetic. Which is weird because I am a sucker for ANY summer style fragrance "like" that. This one is like that one but better. It's moooooore vanilla than salty to my nose and I get the benzoin, musk, and tonka which I feel gives it more depth and cozy warmth.... If you want to just simply "warm up" any type of fragrance, layer it with this. Or just wear it on its own. It's amazing! It's in the same vibe as SUN Di Gioia as well (to my nose). It's beautiful..... I have no idea why I have slept on this for so long. I just thought it was a basic vanilla til I tried it. But no, this is sexy SUMMER nights!!!!! Cha-ching!

luanneog

Reminded me of going on summer vacations.Coconuty without being coconuty and vanilla without being gourmand. Salty and sweet but not cloying. Somewhat powdery and fresh. A very beachy scent. Kind of smells like an spf lotion.

spritzedsilly2

Great summery , not too heavy vanilla.

MoctezumaC

I have other pistols from this line so I bought this at a shop that was going out of business. Picked up the half size bottle for like like US$36.00.

It was definitely and impulse buy for me. I should have bought Sunny Side Up instead...they had it for the same price.

Anyway....pretty boring after a while...lasts a long time...very linear....strong vanilla scent (as stated in the name). I ended up using this quickly.....in my diffuser!!! LOL LOL LOL LOL. I couldn't stand to wear it after a few wears. But if you LOVE vanilla...this is the scent for you.

Again, got it very cheap and I used up all the juice.

Nice skin scent, like the best version of suntan lotion possible. It does get a little boring after a few wears

gory-rilmore

I've been wanting something vanilla-centric for a while, but a lot of such scents lean gourmand or spicy, which is not my thing. So when I had a good coupon to use on this, I gave it a try. This blind buy turned out well for me, but I don't think I'd say it's a *safe* blind buy--I can see how this very specific combination of notes could depend on skin chemistry.

Vanilla Vibes gives me equal parts salt, cream, and powder enhancing the vanilla. I also get a little nuttiness (maybe from the tonka bean?) which makes me think layering with another nutty or woody scent could stretch this fragrance into fall. I only wish the musk were less prominent after wearing a couple hours.

Spring 2024 Edit: I finished the travel size, and I literally have just been smelling the empty bottle from time to time to...like...get a hit?? It's a very special little scent! Getting a larger size for the warmer weather.

Tannerbuhnaner

I wanted to love this fragrance. On paper it’s delightfully salty and creamy, but on my skin it turns bitter, rubbery, and latex like. I recommend Sunny Side Up over Vanilla Vibes for sure.

Samanthabdel

I was deterred from this because of the longevity reviews but i purchased anyway. This lasted on my skin overnight! Definitely test it because it may have great performance on your skin.

This is also my favorite of the “beachy sunscreen” scents that are all out right now. Alien Goddess had too much going on. Olympea Solar had a screechy synthetic note. Beach Walk was too floral for me. Lancome la nuit nude had that tresor DNA. I have Mancera Holidays and will keep that for sweet tooth days but VV is more versatile, fresh, inoffensive, and some what effervescent. Really love this one!

My husband never compliments my perfumes but when i sprayed this he said “oooooh that smells fresh! Like a pretty girl” LOL.

Kimyswirls

I’ve been on the hunt for a beach-y perfume because I live in a hot, tropical country. As much as I love anything vanilla & gourmand, they don’t do so well in where I’m from. They have a tendency to be cloying.

The moment I sprayed this on though, I instantly fell in love. It’s vanilla but it’s light and fresh. I’m not an expert on notes so I can’t smell the salt there but this reminds me so much of going to my favorite beach and the euphoria after a good dive sesh. One of my faves for sure. I can wear this everyday & will probably be my signature scent since I haven’t smelled this on anyone here.

Zlanita

I bought a sample. this is the perfect vanillia I wanted, it's not too sweet and I'm not sick of it. wonderful summer, sea scent. Im in looooooove!

Elenar10

Smooth, pleasant, simple, summer vibe salty vanilla. Becomes addictive. Great everyday choice for warmer weather. 7,5/10.

LaMiaRosa

This is an extremely realistic beach scent on me. I've tried other scents that claim to smell like the beach but this is the first one that actually does.

It smells exactly like your skin when you've been swimming in the ocean and laying out in the sun, with sand granules clinging to your warm and slightly burnt skin. It's definitely a warm salty smell and I detect next to no vanilla. Just a hint in the drydown, but it's not a sweet vanilla, it's very savoury, mixed with a woody smell. I'm getting the image of sunset after a long day at the beach, and now you're just walking amongst the driftwood, as the tide comes in...

It's a very romantic scent and perfect for warm weather. It's the realistic beach scent I've always been looking for, despite the name "Vanilla Vibes". Only downside is projection does not exist on me past the first hour. Technically this has really good longevity, but it's just a skin scent.

nataschav

This is not at all a beach vibe vanilla like I’d expect based on the look of the bottle and the name of the perfume. I’m getting synthetic orchid with bitter, green notes and then in the back a little vanilla.

Not the pleasant kind, not the sweet or good kind. But like the bean was too young to be plucked from the plant. I’m on the fence about it. My dislike is stronger than my like at the moment, maybe it’s better when it’s warmer.

Vicky Medrano

Coconut is not listed but I'd swear it's there.

PerfumePixie87

This is a straightforward summer vanilla, with a slightly aquatic touch. This is extremely wearable and casual and I imagine that salty touch would make this sing on warm days. However the longevity and sillage are both minimal. The bottle design is visually appealing in it's turquoise ombré effect, and represents the juice inside perfectly.

Lenniecha

I love LOVE love love this scent. It’s very unique, beachy, but not sweet, just soft, creamy-ish, and easy to wear. One of my favorite and my first one from Juliette has a gun. This one convinced me to get some other ones from the JHAG family. :) I totally recommend !

Male reviewer here. I blind bought this off a discounter for a great price, based on a few youtuber recommendations, and because the name of the brand is fantastic and it speaks to me. Also the bottle is quite nice. I was looking for a good summer acquisition and I must say, this fits the bill excellently.
I can definitely pick up the slight "playdoh" vibe people talk about, but it's not bad in any way. I don't pick up any of the "fish" that other people have mentioned thankfully. To me it's simply an extremely light and airy vanilla + salt, and it absolutely nails the beach vibe that it's going for. It transports me right to the beach when I smell it. This is definitely a unisex fragrance and I don't pick it up as being girly on me at all, or anything like a bath and body works spray as some reviewers mention.
Projection doesn't seem to be all that powerful on first wearing, but that's to be expected from this scent profile, perhaps that will change, or my perception of it will change with more wearings though.
I have tried one other scent that tries to replicate the beach, and that is The Beach EDP by Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements, and Vanilla Vibes blows it out of the water. The Beach EDP smells overpoweringly like sweet sunscreen. I sold it after a few wearings because it was nauseating. I can't see me getting sick of Vanilla Vibes however, because of how light and inoffensive it is.
This is really nice niche fragrance with high quality smelling ingredients. Nothing synthetic to my nose. Overall for the $60 I paid, I have no regrets whatsoever. I am not an expert on fragrances, my nose is fairly casual but that just means my opinion is closer to the masses than the enthusiasts. And as a casual wearer I'd definitely say this is worth trying, despite the low score and negative reviews some people seem to give it.

arizonaruby

I approached this hesitantly because I’m not a big fan of vanilla scents. I was pretty surprised - this isn’t your classic sweet gourmand vanilla perfume. Instead, it’s very salty, quite creamy, and a little musky. I get a lot of salt plus a good dose of the orchid and sandalwood. It’s definitely got a beachy summer vibe, but without the coconut you’d normally associate with scents like that. The absence of coconut means it lacks some warmth - think ‘Hamptons’ over ‘Caribbean’. Overall, I’d say it’s pretty nice and unexpected, but I think Beach Walk by Replica is a better-executed version of this kind of scent.

Mammajamma

(My sense of smell is not so clear anymore, the one time I got COVID has left me with a persistent “slightly stuffy nose” kind of thing so take that into consideration)
I’ve never had a salty perfume before! And I wonder why a sea or blue note isn’t listed. It opened with SALT and I actually was pleasantly surprised. Then a persistent “aquatic” note completely took over which to me smells like the idea of a blue pool liner plus the juice of cucumbers plus any cologne that has Blue or Acqua in the name. I get a bit of dry woods and a tiny sprinkle of chalky vanilla powder but not much but mostly the weird blue pool water smell dominants for two hours then poof it’s a slight white musk wood.

ChocoLei

I enjoy it way more once it dries down and hence gets softer, but it's too calone-heavy for me, unfortunately.

The vanilla here is not the main character, the marine notes are. They kind of turn my stomach but actually, it's not bad--- I just realized that I love the idea of marine gourmands but I'm quite sensitive to calone. Therefore, I personally like when it's more in the background, or when the sea accord is toned down.

Also, the vanilla note in VV is not the most beautiful, natural or complex. It's a sweet perfume overall, but don't expect a gourmand vanilla.

I agree with some reviewers below-- I think Olympéa is definitely more interesting and better balanced. Above Olympéa, I would put L'Artisan Parfumeur (the vanilla in there is ultra sweet but also extremely mouth-watering. May be more appropriate for night time) and Levante from Nobile 1942 might be the very best marine vanilla I've ever smelled--- but I've yet to test this one on skin :)

Now, VV is not a bad perfume at all. I just think there are better, more refined options out there.

Acarin

It’s a less unique and dialled downed version of Olympea or Kenzo World Power.

Vanilla note quickly goes away and all I’m left with is the saltiness that is a bit too screechy.

Dorange Sense

Unpopular opinion maybe but… it smells exactly like the newly scented (whyyy) durex condoms. You know, the classic red ones.

vinegarsyndrome

the salty opening note in this reads as briny and fishy to my nose. coupled with the sweet vanilla, this has an effect of rottenness. dries down to a mild, cool, sunscreeny vanilla, then later a pretty forgettable musk. not for me.

Seens

I got this for half price on clearance at TJMaxx. I usually love Vanilla fragrances but I wouldn't put this in a regular vanilla class. It has a unique scent to me. Perhaps what people call aquatic. It's not my favourite scent and likely never will be, but it's fine. I use it every so often when I want a change up. I get a lot of orchid in this.

Mshapiro2115

Blind purchase, this scent is not my favorite but I do reach for it now that the weather is warming up. It's not a traditional warm vanilla. It's more of a sunscreen, coconut, sand on the beach scent. Not sure if I'm going to purchase the full size yet. Its still growing on me and there are other scents I want to test out rather than purchase the full size at the moment.

alternateu

It's actually dry woody vanilla musk to my nose.
The vanilla isn't strong (which I love; I'm usually really fussy about vanillas and hate when they're too sweet), and definitely isn't sickly sweet. The salt barely comes forward to my nose, and actually what is really prominent to me on my skin is the "woody dryness" to the scent. Pleasant to smell on others - I was sitting next to this lady on the train and I got this really lovely, creamy, scent from her.
Average longevity and projection. Easily a nice "summer-friendly", non-offensive vanilla.

goldengrahams

i wanted to like this so badly but it smells like the bastite coconut dry shampoo. yuck

Ground hound

Vanilla/powder/coconut body spray for a 100+ $ a bottle.
I`ve smelled more interesting laundry detergents and shower gels.
What is going on with JHAG? A dollar store product again.
4/10

Ben70151

Absolutely blown away. Amazing scent.

Really does whisk you away to the height of the summer on the beach with a salty breeze blowing warmly.
Suntan cream on hot skin. Bikini clad beach goers. Cream sodas with vanilla ice cream floats.

Unisex perhaps leaning feminine but who cares? Just enjoy the trip.

Tooturntt

This is a simple beachy vanilla. Salt, Vanilla & musk are the main notes that come through to my nose. It's very pretty & aquatic. Pleasant enough for daily wear in the summertime. I just wish longevity & sillage were better but that's be expected w/ JHAG.

ggartel

This fragrance confuses me because I can’t figure out when to wear it. In hot weather it smells like plastic or playdoh or a vanilla lip smackers. I was going to declutter it but then on a whim I tried it in the winter and now it comes across as the sexy salty vanilla everyone was raving about… but it feels totally seasonally inappropriate. I honestly don’t know what to do with it!

isrsat

This is like a super fresh splash of salt water with a mellow vanilla that hangs around for a little while, and a little sandalwood that peaks through. To me this is mainly a salty, watery, marine scent. Very refreshing and pleasant.

Ben70151

New favourite scent.

Absolutely gorgeous. Salty air breeze, golden sand, fizzing ocean, sun lotion on hot skin. This fragrance takes you straight there in an instant.

Also smooth vanilla ice cream float with salted caramel pieces but not too sweet. Just on the mark.

Soledad89

This is truly a summer scent, fitting for warm weather and when one is going to the beach. After the initial spray let it settle on the skin for a few minutes to avoid sniffing the synthetic smell. From there it transforms to a muted, salty vanilla scent. Has average projection and lasts for about three to four hours before one needs to reapply.

MarciYoga

I have always liked fresh scents and only recently I have been also obsessed with vanilla because of edible Sol de Janeiro. And I normally hate vanilla combined with flowers and flowery perfumes in general.
I bought a tester of Vanilla Vibes first and I am still deciding whether to go for a full bottle.
(My summer time favourite is unisex Un Jardin Apres la Mousson by Hermes, my winter scent to keep me warm last winter - Sol De Janeiro cream and spray.)
So JHAG VV unites both of my favourite tones, which is exciting but I feel I have to get used to it first, perhaps brainwash myself?
I believe perception of the smell is unique to each individual so trying to find out whether I would like this based on reviews confused me more.
When I sampled it on my skin: I do get freshness when I smell my wrist, and then with the nose literally on my skin when I am trying to chase that cozy vanilla I am finding it! Hidden, but happy to find it.
When I wave my arm around me I mainly get the metallic sharp freshness, not something airy and salty and combined with something powdery and benzoin-y. I don't like that my nose smells this as very synthetic when it is around me on my skin.
But I love the uniqueness of the smell when I smell it on my clothes.
Sadly, my skin doesn't hold onto it for more than a few hours so when I sprayed it on my wrists at night after 5 hours of sleep it was nonexistent.
I think I am getting it as a hair fragrance. Probably a splurge.

JaeronQ

Just came out as salty on me, the vanilla was not existent. There are much better salty scents out there. Longevity was also poor. Pass.

silverlocusts

I like this, but in all honesty I like the Kuumba Made Vanilla Musk oil I got at Sprouts for like $10 as much. I think JHAG killed it with the bottle, and the scent is beachy and sweet at the same time without leaning too hard in one direction or the other. It is balanced in a way that musky or ambroxan scents sometimes are not. This smells like what you'd wear to a summer vacation in Cabo or somewhere else similarly sandy. I think it is probably inoffensive to others, so a safe bet to wear on that six hour flight to vacation. I think there are other options that smell very, very similar that will give you that jet-setting, tan-lined, beachy kid vibe without costing nearly this much though.

joikgirl

OH this is a vanilla heaven. This is what I want and look for in a vanilla fragrance.

It is really fresh vanilla not those ultra sweet ones that are sooo overpowering and make your head ache. I guess it is the salt that balances everything out and I love it :) I can see myself wearing this with every weather possible, a nice beach day or a rainy one- would just cheer up your mood. Also great too layer with some other fragrance. Would buy a full sized bottle.

pinklatex

This is a lovely vanilla that you think is going to be a bit alcoholic but suddenly turns aquatic, then lightly salted vanilla. It's a beautiful light summer scent. -Places you on windy beach in Maine, sea spray and vanilla bean.

Edemay

Have been keen to try this for the longest time
But oh what a let down ☹️
Became very salty and bitter on my skin then disappeared!!

SaltyVanilla

A nice, salty, clean, beachy vanilla. The vanilla is slightly powdery and not too sweet or too dry. The salt smells like large, pure chunks of clean sea salt. There is a clean musk and a touch of sandalwood. If you want to compare this scent to Olympea they are both about on par in terms of saltiness and sweetness level. Olympea is more floral, slightly spicy, and a bit more of a sensual scent. JHAG Vanilla Vibes is ‘clean girl’ scent meets the beach. It’s a more straightforward salt + vanilla + clean musk type of dna. Both of these scents had about a 5-6 hour wear time on me. I do feel that I got slightly more projection and sillage from Olympea but in fairness, I am testing JHAG Vanilla Vibes from a travel spray bottle and there is a difference in what the atomizer can deliver vs my FB of Olympea. While this didn’t beat Olympea for me it’s a good salty vanilla frag that I was happy to wear and I think this would satisfy those who didn’t want floral elements or other embellishments in their salty vanilla scents.

LALDN

Simple. Nice. A true summer salty vanilla. Great for summer and layering.

style1015

When I picked this up, purely going off the name, it's not what I expected. Vanilla Vibes is definitely more salty than vanilla, and it's a very tropical, beachy salt scent. The vanilla provides a faint, slightly resinous sweetness but overall I would characterize this as a salty beach scent. I don't really know how the Burning Man festival inspired this?

I do love salty scents, but I have a ton of tropical scents and this one isn't that different from the ones I already have. I also own Armani Prive's Bleu Turquoise that I think is a more versatile and interesting salty vanilla fragrance. Overall, I think it's a nice scent especially if you like the salt note, but for me it's nothing new and there's nothing special enough about it to make me want to add it to my collection.

nordhaul

I spilled this in mY room and
didn't get a chance to wear-
Idk what about this is vanilla.
more like Britney Spears, like
a "exsy" perfume someone w/
unrefined taste would wear, but
I guess it can work for The beach
or something. I found it boring &
usual, which as I said can work ✨

abkat

Definitely more of a beachy, salty fragrance than vanilla. Smells like a beach-themed spray you'd get at Bath & Body Works, but it's nice if you enjoy something very light and clean as opposed to a super-sweet vanilla.

barwench

The salt notes in this confirmed my suspicion that salt notes disagree with me because this perfume made me feel a bit sickly even though I am okay with the notes listed, except for salt. There was another salty, aquatic perfume that made me nauseous. I'm wondering what the commonality is between the salts in these two perfumes and I don't think it's the synthetic salt per se - I don't want to demonise synthetic scents.

OveractiveNose

I'm genuinely devastated. On paper, this was a beautifully salty aquatic vanilla like no other. Then I tried it on my skin, and got stale, sweaty musk with a gross addition of vanilla. If you've tried Not A Perfume and hated it like I did, steer clear of Vanilla Vibes because it's the exact same musk. Simultaneously soapy and sweaty. Gross. You broke my heart, Vanilla Vibes.

miss mills

I need to preface this review by saying the first time I smelled and wore this a couple of years ago, I wrote it off nearly instantly as boring, bland and a bit weird (salt, ambroxan). I tried it again last year and kept getting whiffs of something beautiful and appealing all day whilst out and about before realising the scent came from me. So I tried it for another day and fell in love.
For comparison, I had Olympea as loved the smell from afar but had to rehome it as the salty intense sweetness unfortunately gave me a headache each time I wore it. VV smells nothing like it to me - they're in different ballparks altogether. One is very loud and sweet, the other oceanic and cosy.

More beach vibes than vanilla vibes to me, this is cozy vanilla absolute with some seriously ozonic salt spray transport me straight back to memories of lazy beach vacations.
Vanilla Vibes has become my new favourite over the past year, simply can't get enough of this juxtaposition of salty ocean spray and warm sensuality. Romano Ricci (great grandson of Nina Ricci) created a unique beauty, almost but not quite two perfumes in one but for me VV absolutely nails the feeling of the beach and manages to be simultaneously comforting and beautifully liberating with the saltiness made more ozonic with soft sandalwood and delicate sweet and powdery orchid lifting the vanilla beautifully. It's a love for me.

JaimsSith

Simple, salty, beachy vanilla. Airy and lovely. Ordering for a business trip to Florida

pandasniffs

Still love this and now have a FB. It's a dry, airy and cool vanilla with a salty/breezy edge. Fresh and cozy at the same time. Maybe it's not anything staggeringly 'out there' or experimental, but imo this simply smells gorgeous and I love wearing it. I find it soothing and quite addictive. It smells really great in your hair.

aniton

I adore Vanilla Vibes, it's my go to summer perfume... the perfect amount of musky, sunny and aquatic... not too loud, discreet for summer heat & ideal after a whole day at the beach, to add to a perfect summer experience. A staple!

Youlerie

Misleading name. More like "sea salt vibes". Non-existent vanilla. At some point I even notice something fishy, is that the brown musk? Gag!

2cool2stink

It’s a fresh type of vanilla. Which is something I’m not used to most vanilla I’ve smelt was warm and reminded me of colder weather and staying cozy by the fireplace but this one is very fresh the first thing I thought of was walking near the beach. It has this fresh clean smell that reminds me of the ocean breeze on a summer day. Very unique to me I love it.

SailorV

A simple, but nice vanilla. It's mainly voted as a summer scent on here, but I think it could easily be worn year round. Yes, the salt note, which comes across as ozonic and mineralic, makes is suitable for summer, but contrary to some other fragrances from this genre, Vanilla Vibes does not contain any florals, citruses or anything else that could turn sharp in cooler weather. Instead there is a lovely warm benzoin note that gives some caramelly depth to otherwise bright & clean vanilla. It smells a bit like brown sugar.

This is not my new favorite vanilla ever, but it's still good. If you're looking for a summer-appropriate vanilla without many frills, it's certainly worth a try.

sesllica

just one smell and BOOM!!! you’re happy. There’s literally no one that could say i don’t get the beach vibe because it is like you have a happy, sunny, relaxing beach moment in your bottle
VERY long lasting (the salt)
i could smell it still on me at night but i’m not sure about the sillage :/ maybe an arm length?
the vanilla -salt balance is more on the salty side, the vanilla comes after it for me. it smells literally like IF YOU WERE ON THE BEACH WITH SALT ON YOUR SKIN, AND THERES A CUP OF ICE CREAM ON THE SAND. that’s what it smells like , very niche to me tbh in love it,

!!! also, for me this can be used all around even in winter

J'dada

This smells like how I’d imagine solar notes smell

mika4305

I like it.... but you can get the same effect from a cheap sunscreen

Beffuhnee

This is disgusting. It’s like you’re at low tide while a vanilla tree car freshener hangs in front of your nose. I can get behind a salty/sweet fragrance but this is straight up fishy.

coffeefifofum

I loathe Not a Perfume so I was hesitant when this came in my Sephora vanilla sampler. I'm neutral on it. If there was such a thing as vanilla furniture polish this would be it. Not bad or harshly chemical, just kind of waxy with a retro clean(ing) note. Even waxier when it dried. 2 hour longevity. Limited projection. Very, very different from NaP.

Fatima1219

This was NOT a blind-buy! I visited a perfume shoppe with intentions of buying fragrances. December is the birthday month of my husband and I, so we were doing a little shopping. Vanilla Vibes is one that I really wanted to try. It smelled delectable, and amber-y--on paper! Wearing it today, not so much. This is one of my birthday presents to myself, and I'm not wowed by it! The projection is weak and the dry down is quite unimpressive. I'm wearing this while at work, and will be wearing it while running a few errands later. This fragrance is appropriate for most day activities. The smell is pleasant, with a small slither of sexiness. Not a gourmand vanilla, but more of an elegant vanilla and coconut candle scent. In my opinion, there are better vanilla fragrances available that are much more affordable. Do I love it: No, Will I wear it proudly on occasion: Yes!
Juliette Has A Gun Vanilla Vibes is: OK.

Katirenep

I got a sample from the discovery set.It dries down smelling like straight up patchouli on my skin

cowboyfuel

Sea water, fish, and licorice. Surprisingly fresh for a vanilla scent, but that doesn’t stick through the dry down. It’s not as cloying as other vanilla-oriented fragrances, so that’s saying something. Creamy Play-Doh?? Smells like a better version of Alien, but a worse version of Alien Goddess.

perfumebb<3

The perfect perfume for Serena Van Der Woodsen. Its impossible for me to smell this and not think of her. The perfume radiates creamy vanilla but the saltiness gives it a bohemian twist that draws you in. Much like Serena, this perfume will make you stand out in a crowd. Definitely a summer scent that I think some get away with using all year long.

klioux

On paper, this is a soft salty, airy vanilla. On my skin, the salt and the vanilla separate and the vanilla deteriorates into a synthetic popcorn vanilla. Smells generic and inexpensive. This is a nice idea but poorly executed - you're better off layering your favorite freshie and reliable vanilla. If you're looking for a green vanilla, I would recommend Floral Street Wild Vanilla Orchid.

spiraphilia

It definitely smells like a beach, but for a wearable fragrance, the salt is too overpowering. During the first 1-2 hours I smell like almost pure sand, dirt-y and earthy, and later on you start to get the sweeter notes in there. With a bit more balance this could have been wonderful.

rainme

Smells just like Hawaiian tropic sunscreen to me. Quite light and beachy.
