This is the sexiest perfume I’ve ever smelled, and I’ve sampled quite a few. It’s thick, sweet, syrupy and intense. The pear is very prominent and juicy but it quickly fades into the warm vanilla in the base. The leather & vetiver notes are stunning, they add a bit of depth and maturity without coming off as masculine in any way. The best way to describe this fragrance is to imagine a pear cobbler with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream on the side. Delicious.
As for the performance, you’ll definitely get some attention. It’s one of those fragrances that just smells TOO good and too sexy, it’s a compliment magnet. It shines in the cold weather but you can definitely pull it off all year if you’re careful with your sprays and don’t overdo it.
My husband doesn’t comment on my fragrances often, but he sniffed the air and immediately asked what smelled so good after I threw on a few sprays of this beauty. I couldn’t recommend it more and I wish I had the big bottle. 10/10.

For anyone buying recently and wondering if they’ve been duped: the bottle design has changed.

The gold decor and general quality of the bottle is a downgrade for sure but it seems to be the same juice inside.

Headshoulders64$

Yuk. Harsh opening, smell like lantana. Just sickly.Luckily only a sample. I shall move this one on.

I bought Police To Be Good Vibes reportedly a dupe for La Belle and people are right. No wonder I see Valentino Born in Roma Intense in the Good Vibes' dupes. I bought Pink Obsessed of BBW earlier today and it reminded me of La belle while many rightfully claim that it's like Born in Roma. To me there is more to Pink Obsessed: it mainly has the Born in Roma syrupy sweet cashmere vanilla bourbon DNA, but since To be Good Vibes is a pretty good lighter dupe to La Belle, you see how Born in Roma deep down could be related to La Belle too. I sense that syrupy floral balsamic sweet element of Born in Roma (mainly the Intense) in La Belle, adding the pear and the leather it makes La Belle "dirtier" and sexy.

Good Vibes vs La Belle.
Good Vibes has a happier, brighter opening than La Belle, more citrusy with the grapefruit/mandarin, and slightly cold and dark spicy with the black pepper. It has a syrupy salty pear too like La Belle, but to my nose it is more toned down in Good Vibes with the peony adding a more girly touch to the scent and establishing that Born in Roma syrupy girly ambery-vanilla sweet connection. Good Vibes is more powdery than La Belle due to the heliotrope that Police adds everywhere *eye roll* and always being powdery. I don't mind it here (I hated it in Tattoo Art it smelled dusty, yuck). The patchouli- amber give the scent that similar dirty feel of La Belle, without the intense smokiness of the latter due to the absence of vetiver. So if you hate vetiver, Good Vibes is a good alternative, but Good Vibes to me is more green, fresh and spicy compared to La Belle due to the patchouli. The Ambrarome is an ambergris note, gracing Good Vibes with its warm and leathery smell with a hint of tobacco, so from that we have the leather feel of La Belle in Good Vibes too, only toned down a bit, and a much more subtle smokey "tobacco-like" touch, enough to make this sexy too. Good Vibe's leathery scent is more delicate, smoother and accompanied by less sugar, brightened by the jolly intense citrusy element throughout (not just its opening). Overall, it's a good impression of La Belle, less sweet than La Belle imo. The heliotrope at the dry down along with the patchouli kinda bother me, I don't have that issue with La Belle, but I do like the citrusy side of Good Vibes, it really is all about good vibes and I like the bright pink peony in it, it makes a difference. After 2 hrs on my skin it becomes sweeter and softer. To be honest I prefer La Belle, but I appreciate Police's impression too.

Pink Obsessed: Born in Roma + lighter La Belle, softer than Good Vibes.
Born in Roma Intense may be similar to Police To be Good vibes due to their floral balsamic, syrupy, ambery essence. So my nose did not trick me that I see some of the Pink Obsessed' (Born in Roma's lighter smokier dupe) syrupy sweet character in La Belle's sugary sweet element too, a lot softer.
Wearing both Pink Obsessed and Police to Be Good Vibes now I see some similarities there too. Pink Obsessed with its Born in Roma vein, is much lighter than the powdery, citrusy, peppery Good Vibes. In Pink Obsessed the praline's sweetness and leathery touch of the cashmere, along with a fizzy, salty/pear-like accord (mainly in its opening) are quite similar to the dry down of Good Vibes. Pink Obsessed is not citrusy, just slightly salty and it's more floral, pink and girly and a lot less smokey & leathery than Good Vibes, but enough to slightly differentiate Pink Obsessed from Born in Roma.

Pink Obsessed & La Belle.
I bought BBW Pink Obsessed which many say is like Born in Roma due to the vanilla bourbon-cashmere - jasmine overload. To me Pink Obsessed, while it has the Born in Roma cashmere-deep and balsamic syrupy-sweet floral vein like that of a celebrity scent, it also smells on my skin like La Belle too, a much lighter, more girly version of it. Pink Obsessed is romantic, while La Belle wears leather bustier tops and swears like a sailor (like me). Pink Obsessed on me is very salty savory at first, and progressively smoother and more syrupy sweet like Born in Roma, but with a subtle smokiness from the vanilla bourbon - cashmere, and a leathery feel from the cashmere-praline apparently (and I swear there must be unripe pear in Pink Obsessed). There is a contrasting deep soft sweetness from the praline at the base, similar to the vanilla-amber offering of La Belle. The praline keeps Pink Obsessed more pink and girly. Pink Obsessed has no vetiver so the smokey effect is toned down, but still present on my skin and I do like it here (did not like it in BBW's Wild Sand). No smokiness in Born in Roma, which to me is a generic very syrupy celebrity-like scent, no wonder one of Britney's Fantasy flankers is a dupe. Pink Obsessed is more dimensional than Born in Roma combining contrasting elements and it is suitable to those who prefer lighter scents and dislike the overly sweet Born In Roma or can't stand the intensity and leather-vetiver of La Belle.

TheCandyperfumegirl

Let me be honest with you all, this Fragrance was not on my wishlist. In fact I had only 2 fragrances on my wishlist from the brand Jean Paul Gaultier. And La Belle was not one of them. The reason was simply because I thought people are over hyping the perfume 🙊
Because of the pandemic I couldn't even go out to sniff it myself. So I kept assuming it's not worth the hype. And I'm really sorry for being this judgemental 😔
Finally I got the chance to sniff this Perfume and My oh My I was in love like a teenage girl 🙈
It's everything I want as a fruity vanilla lover. The juiciness of Pear gives it an uplifting youthfulness. I get a sugary peach or apricot vibe as well. Presence of the vetiver makes the Perfume not overly sweet or sticky and I truly admire the fact because now I can wear this for summer date nights too ❤️ And the base of Vanilla is so sexy & pleasant that people around you are bound to complement the fragrance, your Fragrance ❤️
Who doesn't want to smell sweet, sexy & happy?
This is just happiness in a bottle. Though some may find it juvenile but I truly love this and I don't mind smelling young & happy ;) Besides the bottle is so beautiful that you just can't stop admiring it 😍

This lasts for around 10+ hours on my skin and on clothes, I can smell it even the next day.
It's a projection bomb. For the first few hours anyone around you will be able to smell your Fragrance. Even after 6/7 hours the fragrance radiates within a hands distance.

𝗟𝗮 𝗕𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲 means "𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥" and this Fragrance truly is beautiful. You'll feel beautiful whenever you spray this. The Fragrance is a complement magnet. Anyone around you will be bound to give you compliments. If you want to get noticed, wear this.
It's perfect for Date Nights, Parties , Weddings & any other occasions. But avoid it for office, interview, hospital or any formal meetings.

🔴 So Here's all I have to say about this gorgeous scent. I know many of you are already in love with this and I'm late to the party but I'm happy because Better late than never ❤️

Ohh this is so sexy and juicy scent. Perfect for a date time. And definitely for colder weather, it is too strong if you wear it on a summer day.

sweetcherie23

very sweet and fruity it can cause headaches as it is very sweet personally i dont like this as much as the la belle la parfum which is much nicer!!!!

Venussweden

I like this on clothes, on my skin it’s boring, short lived and plain. On fabric it’s flirty and fun. The leather and vetiver makes it grown up, sensual…

Gionnijulius1820

This perfume, disigner or not, will forever remain in my top 5 favorites! There is just something so sexy, playful, and yet seductive quality about it. I get a juicy pear in the opening, with a creamy caramel and vetiver. When the pear faded I'm left with Amber, Vetiver & just a light hint of florals. The dry down is Amber, Vanilla, Vetiver and just a hint of leather. The leather is not animalistic, it's not harsh, it very light and just adds depth and keeps the vanilla and Amber notes from becoming overly sweet. I love this perfume so much, it's just so well done! I will always have a bottle. Wearable in winter & fall and even cool spring days. Not offensive, and people seem to really enjoy this fragrance on me. It never comes off harsh imo. Def worth the money!

Chesu Bowa

Smells like a pear 🍐 pie 🥧 baked in the ocean 🌊.

MEN LOVEE THIS ONE!! DON’T WALK, RUNNN.

Jazminerenault

The pear note is very strong imo. Great for a date night. Last all night. For vanilla lovers.

sassa7

JPG does not disappoint, his creations are unique, bold and elegant, whether they're floral or dark and syrupy, they are statement scents. Surprised that I saw it at Ulta. Some reviews on Ulta's site describe it as heavy and overly sweet, something they would declutter so I was influenced against it and bought other perfumes instead, including Burberry Goddess that I eventually returned and I hate returning things.
This on me was light and not cloying. After testing it more, I see that the pear here is unique, it is sweet and juicy, slightly green, yet savory so slightly salty on me, but not obnoxious (the first time I tried it, it wasn't salty at all). It must be one of the rare instances that I like slightly salty pear. The opening is sweet slightly syrupy yet fresh and addicting, the drydown becomes more seductive and mature by the smooth leather-vetiver pairing, some favorite notes of mine, while the amber adds a balsamic tone to it and along with the musk, they keep the fire going and make it part of my skin. It has a smokey-"dirty" effect from the vetiver, but again the kind of smokey that is sultry and attractive to me. To me this is a 'bombshell with a brain' type of scent, far from preppy, it's ballsy, sexy- playful, but serious too. It's a Jessica Rabbit perfume in my mind. The leather takes effect on me later on, and it gives a grown-up and mysterious flair to the scent that matches the corset-shaped, embellished bottle and its Burlesque-cabaret theme in my view. I smell elements of it in other perfumes, but its composition is quite unique in its league. Lasting power on me was not great, but another excuse to enjoy all of its stages again and explore more of its allure.

Khushi95

This is one of the best designer fragrances for women. The pear really comes through and the vanilla amber n musk together with pear create a sexy and sweet fragrance. This is so versatile and long lasting. Definitely recommend it. I already have bought a backup bottle for when i run out of it.

OneSnifWonder

Immediate headache; maybe I got a bad sample but definitely don't get what the hype is on this one

cgronek

I get a lot of leather from this fragrance. Sweet and fruity with a strong leather dry down. I prefer to layer this; I often layer this with Vanilla woods by 7 Virtues for date night. Very strong sillage and comes with a large volume!

perfumequeen234668

I would like to swap for this fragrance. US based PM if interested.

Aeternitas

I love JPG Classique and its flankers, so when I saw a new body-bottle (lol) I went all-in testing it at Ulta.
I sprayed La Belle on my hand and sniffed it throughout the evening. Is it delicious? Of course! Sweet, heavy on the pear note, on a warm base.
But I was not expecting this from JPG, as I'm used to his heady, proud, and unique offerings.
I guess I'm not surprised that JPG decided to market to teens/young 20's.
It is very nice, but I lived and loved what I call the "capri-sun perfume phase" in the mid to late 2000's (back when I was a teen), and I'm burnt out on these juicy, fruity gourmands and I can't help but compare it to perfumes like Juicy Couture, Princess, Ed Hardy, Betsey Johnson, and the like.
I DO like it, though! I'll stick to my vintage JPG.

I'm still interested in trying the Intense version of La Belle; that bottle alone is worth having.

szania

Take my word when I say that this perfume lives upon its name "la belle" (i live in France and it means "the pretty one"), la belle! She is pretty, sweet, beautiful. She is the bombshell of your snob residential city. Her favorite color is pink and obviously she is blonde but still..she is wife material.
You don’t like her..and you criticize her.. but you want to be just like her. Yeah you are obsessed.
I have a full bottle but rarely wear it because I am addicted to the scent in itself, unfortunately it does not go well with my skin chemistry and does not fit my vibe at all. But I still like it. You see? This perfume is not sexy, it is pretty, attractive and addictive ! But also complex..,she likes to bother people. I think Margot’s Robbie’s character in the wolf of Wall Street would wear this. Blonde, mature and immature, confident, beautiful, sexy but not in a bestial or femme fatale mode, more in an ultra feminine and playful way. A cold fresh freezing pear, silghtly caramelized, with drops of vetiver, and a light blast of leather (like you hugged a man wearing a leather jacket and the airiness of this leather stayed). Uninhibited cliché feminity in a bottle.
Not something to wear on hot summer days though as it can become sweaty and syrupy.

Dee97

I hated this when I first smelled it. All I thought was why is there so much hype around this cough syrup smelling perfume, then a few hours later I could smell something nice coming from my test strip and it was this. A nice juicy pear with some vanilla. This reminds me of a pear dessert with a drizzle of vanilla custard. I love it now. I’m not always in the mood for it, as with a lot of my sweet perfumes (sometimes I’m in the mood to smell shower fresh, other times I wanna smell like a dessert, depends on the day lol). But when I am in the mood, it gives me such a confidence boost and I just want to keep smelling it all day. It lasts for DAYS on clothes. Even after I shower I can still smell it faintly. No need to overspray with this one as it’s strong. Definitely a staple for the colder months.

PhantomBelle

I enjoy wearing both the regular and intense versions of this perfume, and I'm glad I got the big bottles too.

This version has just the right balance of notes in it, they harmonize extremely well together, and it projects & lasts quite a while. The pear is the only thing that really fades quickly, to me, the rest of it has good staying power.

I hope JPG releases flankers for this in the future, I would love more versions of them, not just limited editions.

La Belle and Divine are really well done, if you like one I would recommend trying the other! Purchased from: Dillard's

Aksha.aa

My fav perfume forever and forever. I have over 30 perfumes and this will always be top 1. It is soooo good on my skin longevity, silage everything is top notch worth every penny never ever getting rid of this

AquaJima

The opening is a fantastic, mouthwatering caramel, slowly turns into vanilla and remains that way. Bottle is beautiful.

Having a bigger bottle of this I had to give up on this fragrance, it was never going to work out between us, you know? What made me love me made me want to give up, the opening was too good and I almost felt like it made me gain weight from how sweet it was. In contrast the vanilla just didn’t work well with my chemistry.

I am a coconut milk / surf salty hair / roses / fresh tropical fruit type of person. This fragrance absolute wore me. Too overwhelming for my aura and nose.
Don’t think there is a chance I will ever be the type of woman who can bathe in this and love it. The TV add of this perfume is very much my vibe… yet this is not it.

loves2read

At first I can smell a pear in caramel. It´s lovely, but lasts just for a while.
Then I can´t smell any leather, just vanilla with amber.
Nice, but I prefer Scandal by JPG.

fformoso88

My love, my signature, my belle, I freaking love this fragrance ever since I got it like a year ago, sweet, seductive, sexy, men love it! Lots of compliments… also gets more compliments than my niche fragrances and lasts Longer than some of them too… lol… anyways this scent is gorgeous, delicious, elegant. You will get noticed and smell like a whole snack. Trust me.

minecraftnathalia

I wanted to love this so bad! Sexy sweet pear they said… the pear is present for about 30 minutes then all I can smell is vetiver and leather. It is not sweet what so ever according to me. Now keep in mind, I am very much used to super sweet fragrances so maybe that is why I just can not smell the sweetness in this? Or it might just not fit my body chemistry.

The first time I wore it I accidentally oversprayed it and BOY did I regret it. I was sneezing constantly, from the vetiver I assume.

I might give the Le Parfum version a try, perhaps that one is better suited for me? I just do not want to give up on the scent that I assumed this would be.

Elleb

Sweet smell. Lasts very long

sunchild50

I’ve always really enjoyed this but I decided to let it macerate in my wardrobe for a couple months - I sprayed it today and MY GOD.

Even more complex, delicious, almost spicy/earthy. Such a dream to wear!

lavendermenace

A little bit simplistic but so good. It's my go-to going out perfume and it stays even when I get super sweaty.

Gemsense

A lot stronger in temps below freezing— also more leather and vetiver in these colder temps. Doesn’t last though and still doesn’t project.
Now that it’s doing it’s thing with my chemistry, it’s very similar to Flowerbomb Nectar, like almost identical to the way FB Nectar settles into my chemistry. Wow- how does no one else smell the resemblance?!

parvatishallow

This stuff is so good. Fresh apples.

Nauticus9

Goddamn this smells good.

Sweet, fruity, floral goodness that just screams excellence. The tart pear stands out to me, giving the fragrance a lovely touch. The vanilla is so warm and toasty. The florals give it this elegant essence. Tying it all together is the amber for warmth and the musk for this strong punch. The balance in this fragrance is magnificent to say the least.

As a gourmand aficionado, this really is my cup of tea. It's super sexy and pleasing, nothing could go wrong! A great signature scent for all the ladies out there. Please check it out, it will not disappoint!

《Jrobaina134.》

CocoBlack

Opens with cinnamonish pears
the dry down smells like vanilla 28.
It kinda smells like an old woman.
The pear disappears. I am disappointed.

emilia123

I'm not sure why there is an aquatic accord listed for this. I'm also unsure why there aren't any spices in the scent pyramid, because this smells like a spiced pear tart (minus the crust). Everyone says this one is a major compliment-getter, but I don't think it's worked the same way on me. It's pretty, and has good longevity/projection, but it's just not enough of a "wow" for me to consider purchasing a full bottle.

ayshee_x

This is poached pears in a sticky vanilla syrup. A very sweet and cloying scent that is long lasting. The vanilla in this is similar to Kayali vanilla 28 but more sugary.
Perfect for the colder months. Avoid wearing in the summer- it would be very overwhelming.

jeanette123

It's a nice sweet pear with the combo of vanilla and leather, that I love. The base is there too. It's very nice and lasts pretty long. It's nice to have very little floral for once and, my husband loves it.

dine.vanille

I'm in love with this scent! So sweet and sexy. I spray on my pillow and sheets so I can go to sleep smelling it.
I can't wear it because this leather note ruins everything for me, it makes the scent smell "dirty" if that even makes sense... because of this leather note I would say this is NOT a safe blind buy
However if you like sweet scents, it's likely you will like. Just keep in mind it's not a sweet innocent scent, but very sexy, powerful and dark sweet. Longevity is ok, between 4 and 6 hours on my skin, projects a lot in the first hours.

Jeab Vijitrattana

Really great designer perfume for woman. It's smell like niche perfume, sweet, sexy and elegance. At first I didn't know who is a perfumer behind this fragrance so come to read here and OMG. The perfumer is Quentin Bisch, I am a big fan of him. I just tried to layer with Angle's share and it's so so so good. Loveeee

Daisy Miller 7

Jessica Simpson Fancy - lots of vanilla

vanirai

i wish it lasted as long on me as it seems to last for others :( it smells beautiful and it’s probably my favourite perfume i just wish it lasted longer and had stronger projection. can’t find the intense version anywhere, looking to get my hands on that and hopefully it would last longer.

Marta_Regina

A gourmand fragrance, sweet, almost lightly honeyed, enveloping, very pleasant. As the name suggests - beautiful - but like beauty, ephemeral.

Peaches&Cream

Whew !!!!! I love La Belle a lot. The notes blends so well together, normally in some perfumes it is hard to smell the top notes but I get the pear, floral, and bottom notes. I can't really detect much of the leather which is a good thing as leather can throw off certain note combinations. I wore this out in the evening and throughout the hours it started to become a soft scent yet, still getting whiffs of it as I walked. I got complimented, and it lasted about 8 hours on clothes.

To me, this is better worn in cooler/cold weather since it can become thick in the summer. Great for evenings to go out.

veroniquetas

I just looooove it, it last forever, and I feel so powerful, it gives you a lot of confidence, it's like "I smell great, sexy and sweet, but not in a cheesy way" vibe, idk I really really like how I can still smell it on myself after some hours of applying it. I'll purchase it again a 100 times.

heyy.123

Beautiful vanilla and pear fragrance, this combination si sooo good and i can actually smell it on myself when i wear it. Such a compliment getter and it lasts forever. Definitely a sweet fragrance but not in a sickening way. Love this!!

Sechelberger

I shouldn't have blind bought this. I heard this described as mass appealing and sweet and seductive. The notes sounded ok to me. Well, I get powdery widow at the funeral home vibes from this. It just smells so dated and heavy. The opposite of youthful and fresh. It is a no from me. It has a lot of fans, so I just recommend smelling it before you purchase it based on reviews. It's polarizing.

katiesimpsonhair

This has a very bright sweet opening that strongly reminds me of the hard boiled sweets, pear drops. This dries down to a lovely smell which I find quite unique and like nothing I remember smelling before, it must be the Vetiver I’m smelling. This is a moderate lasting scent with moderate projection. Really lovely scent for every day and the bottle is beautiful, I love the purple liquid.

jadepo21

This is so delicious, so seductive, so womanly. I just love everything about that fruity opening that transitions into the cozy leather and vetiver with just a touch of the vanillic sweetness. Instant obsession and this will never not be in my collection.

Libfuck

Serving you sexy buttery almond realness. This one is for the girls who wear shoes that go clip clop on a tile floor

Dollycat

It's nice, warm and cozy. But nothing to write home about at least in my opinion. I really adore the original classic which i always will have in my collection. This one is good for one bottle but i will not purchase again. The projection is strong in the beginning but fades away quite quickly. The longtivity is like all perfumes of today very short. After an hour it fades to a skin scent. So disappointed it's nice but quite flat with no depth or change along the projection. So an ok for me nothing more.

nfox

La Belle is possibly my husband's most favorite perfume on me, and this fact really warmed me up to it. At first I thought it is too "obvious", a bit try hard, a bit too much.

But I eventually realized I WANT to be the person who can use La Belle casually, someone who can be too much, someone who is not afraid of other people's opinions of her, taking up as much space in the world as she wants and needs.

La Belle is smooth and syrupy, in a way it reminds me of old old Trussardi Python. Dark red, deep, fruity, sweet. It is a really loud scent that will announce your presence, it needs confidence.

Lovely.

BikiniSoTeeny

I adore the opening, wish it lasted longer in that stage, soooo juicy it oozes pear. That is so fab that IMHO its worth buying even tho its drydown is so boing and sweet and highschool me.

cflatorrev

So… this one reminds of my art classroom in high school. In a good way tho. It has something that smell similar to pencils. I like it but it doesn’t make me go crazy. I got the 30 ml one and I wouldn’t repurchase.

Shimmer412

A sweet, fruity, juicy, floral, and warm vanilla that’s beautiful, flirty, and easy to wear! The notes that come across as most prominent to me are the vanilla, pear, and florals. The vanilla is softly laced with pretty florals and sweetened by the yummy, juicy and somewhat tart pear. Amber adds a beautiful golden warmth, while musk adds a delicate powdery touch, and the leather and vetiver balance out the sweetness very nicely.

I definitely recommend this to other vanilla gourmand lovers. It’s such a beautiful, sexy, and pleasing sweet vanilla based fragrance that’s easy to reach for, works for everyday wear as well as pretty much any occasion, and would make a great signature scent too.

I think that Coach Dreams Sunset is a somewhat similar scent, and I also see a bit of similarity with Kayali Utopia Vanilla Coco, except without the coconut note.

Just for reference, some of my other favorite vanillas include Kayali Vanilla 28, Gold Sugar, Burberry Goddess, Nest Golden Nectar, Philosophy Fresh Cream Warm Cashmere, and The 7 Virtues Vanilla Woods

Opens with a fresh pear juice scent. It's gone in seconds. As it dries down it becomes unbearingly sweet for me. Candy sweet. Makes me nauseous. Reminds me a bit of AP Fatale Intense in the drydown (vanilla, amber, leather).Overripe pear, started to rot and became a fruit fly feast.

Devved

I really like this scent, but only after 10 minutes of putting it on. It does smell like pears mostly but the opening is really synthetic. It`s not harsh or unbearable but for the price I don`t think it`s acceptable.

yeesa_

Im sucker for a sweet perfume but this one is just TOO sweet almost sickly it makes me a little nauseous when I wear it so I have to declutter...

Story time with this one. It was a blind buy - mainly because of the bottle truthfully. Before the bottle had been shipped/arrived I actually had the chance to sample it when I was out with my friend, and the worker asked if I wanted it on paper or skin. I asked for paper, and when my friend and I took a sniff, we wanted to gag. In fact she told me to quickly cancel my order and I was silent because I agreed. So I asked the worker if he could spray it on my skin instead - (I had no fragrance on), and wow. I don’t know why it smelt so different but the change was instant, and my friend and I fell. In. Love. The test strips do not do this fragrance justice!!

Throughout the day, the smell just got a better and better, and was a perfect blend of pear and vanilla on myself. My friend compared it to a pear and vanilla cake which I absolutely agree on, and we were constantly smelling my wrist through the entire day - one spray and it lasted in the cold London weather for well over 6 hours. The pear began to subdue and it just smelt so good 😭 Loved it so much I also bought the 100ml of the intense… whoops.

Even asked my sister who hates sweet smells, but she said that this didn’t make her feel sick and she actually liked it (to my shock). Definitely try this out if you can!!

(The dread I felt when I smelt the sample on paper was unreal 🤣)

For a while I used Katy Perry Meow to replace my Signature Grumpy Bear perfume from Hot Topic that I wore throughout my teens, which was a basic pear Vanilla scent, but the pear and Vanilla in Meow wasn't quite the same. This is and the vanilla pear in la Belle le parfum are sooo similar to Grumpy Bear, just more grown-up/complex. La Belle Le Parfum definitely is closer being more simple and sweet and smooth with just the added Tonka and Jasmine note to the vanilla pear centric scent. This one is the sexy oriental version, heavy, hot, and in your face, and more interesting in my opinion. La Belle le parfum is safe and easy to love, and maybe for that reason maybe a little less interesting.
My overall thoughts on this scent:
Strong!
Young or young at heart (vanilla pear)
Bad girl/crazy girl vibes from the rest of the notes (think Harely Quinn or Britney Spears)
Intriguing... mysterious and interesting
Winter/night scent... definitely some abrasive heat coming off it that may be too harsh for some in warmer weather.
Vanilla pear still dominates as time passes.
Yes, you can wear this and not give off a permiscous or crazy girl vibe. Remember, you wear the perfume. The perfume doesn't wear you.
This is a bold statement perfume, but if you're bothered by the darker notes try La Belle Le Parfum.

Best of the best 😍

alannawangoom

I had to repost because I made some spelling and grammar mistakes I feel ashamed of…

I get it. I get the hype. The smell is really good! Is sweet, sexy and addictive. I think you could wear it all the time if you can pull it off it. could be something that could be warn all the time but maybe more suitable for cooler seasons for some.

So I went in the shops to feed my perfume addiction and I found myself trying to decide between this and new Gaultier Divine EDP. In the end I choose La Bella. Nothing against Divine. I just found La Bella more appealing to me. The sales lady did gave me a sample of the new Divine EDP so maybe Divine will become apart of my perfume collection in the future. We will see..

I rate it a 9/10 maybe a 10

slut4smells

So pear, almost apple. Has a musky bite and an almost raisin-y scent? Currant? This smells like a faerie that just foraged a fruit salad. I love it. Has a musk that reminds me of being a kid but in a slightly more grown up way.

gonegirl

rly wish i liked this bc a spicy pear and vanilla scent sounds soso gorgeous but this is just a sharp synthetic mess :(( no vanilla, and just some fleeting pear for the first 10 seconds. after that its just nasty sharp alcohol. +1 to Neckromancer's comment; it does smell better in the air than on skin.

Hurricane_Hilda

Wasn’t a love at first sniff I had this and sold it off. Then …one day I had a sample and decided to sniff it 🤯🤯🤯 man this is beautiful perfect for spring -summer sweet sexy in an innocent way. I feel so girly and feminine with this on

Siebsy

The opening is unbelievable. Absolutely gorgeous perfume! She’s giving grown but not too grown. Definitely an evening perfume or maybeeee one for brunch with the girls. So sexy and has a sultry dry down. The dry down so far is subtle on me and not a sharp scent but I’m still enjoying it for now. Will macerate it and see how to smells in a couple of weeks/months. Can’t wait to wear this more!

darkbeauty

Whoa that initial spray is a beast! Boozy, pear syrup. Fruity, tart, bright, aquatic and juicy, somewhat fizzy or effervescent too. But upon first spray be prepared because it is strong and takes you by surprise. It can come off a bit sharp at first.

Reminds me of this spiked, glazed pear punch I’ve made a few times for the holidays. Spices, booze, caramelized pear slices, chilled pear juice, sweet vanilla syrup.

Yes, the flowers are in there but they seem to get lost behind all the boozy vanilla and pears. Closer to the dry down I even pick a bit of maple syrup with that vanilla.

Husband seems to enjoy it too. :)
I walked outside and I tell you he smelled me from the front door while he was a good distance away just outside our detached garage. I didn’t even have to get near him before he picked up the trail. Lots of projection. No complaints there.

I honestly can’t decided which I prefer best, the OG or Le Parfum. I think they both should be owned for different reasons and seasons.

This is definitely not a blind buy I regret!

Crys_

Smells like a packet of sweets - personally find it to be a very teenage scent. The dry down was nice, but not worth putting up with the opening and the middle.
It's certainly niche, I'll give it that.

Bea_strix

To visualise La Belle, please picture slices of ripe pear poached in red wine and then drizzled with honey and green khus syrup. It is heavy, it is sweet, and it is gorgeous.

From the moment of spraying, I’m enmeshed in a cloud of pear and vanilla. There is a sparkle initially (perhaps from the bergamot) but it is quickly buried in waves of peary sweetness. Then softly the vetiver rises from the base and the scent evolves to become greener and sweeter but doesn’t get lighter. Vetiver and pear go together beautifully and the fragrance remains unchanged for the next few hours.

It is a powerful perfume, projecting over more than a meter for several hours. After the projection phase, it carries you in a scent bubble for the whole day/night. Do yourself a favour and don’t overspray. You might die. Three sprays of La Belle is seriously more than enough. And it’s probably a good idea to keep this bottle shelved in the summer.

La Belle is actually not a very complex scent; in spite of its voluptuousness and strength, it is actually quite linear. You should consider it only if you don’t find very sweet perfumes cloying. It blooms well on fabric, but really comes alive with the heat of the skin, so be sure to apply on your pulse points.

qinny

This on me smells like juicy, yet caramelized pear and creme brulee. This would be so good for cooler weather or evenings out. I enjoyed this scent since it is not overwhelmingly sweet and the pear note is realistic. Most other pear perfumes I have smelled other leans cheap and artificial but this is well done. The dry down is a perfect mix of vetiver, vanilla and leather - really well done.

LEM922

Smelled this on an insert. Musky, leathery vanillic pear. Honestly, not really my thing. I love JPG but this one didn’t really “wow” me. My skin definitely pulls this leather musk smell… the pear is super strong, but those other two follow very closely behind. I could see how this would be popular… but it’s just not necessarily for me. It’s pretty strong, so this is definitely a beast mode fragrance. Not terrible, but also not my fav.

Marie20707

After buying a full size of Intense, I realize that I prefer the original more. There’s a spice in the Intense that just doesn’t work for me.

The Original is beautiful. It has a freshness in the initial opening and then it dries down sweetly without the spice in the Intense.

PeachyPraline

WOW this fragrance is definitely a chameleon...

When I first sprayed it on my skin, it was very fresh and smelled of ripe pear and bergamot, which was completely different than what I had imagined. Later on, it settled down to a deep, syrupy vanilla and amber; which was exactly what I thought it would initially smell like. I literally cannot stop sniffing my wrist! It smells so edible and like a realistic pear pie in the drydown. It's amazing how it transforms from a freshie into a gourmand.

CatOwned

This smells lovely. This smells a lot like the intense version just a bit more toned down and less spices. To me they are pretty close cousins. I just love these bottles though, and for me even the small difference between them was enough to justify owning both :) This one smells like a more juicy less spicy pear than the intense one. There is still some oomph in this, I believe from the leather and vetiver :)

moonkhaleesi

I finally bought this because I am craving sweet incesey? spicy? scents. it's got a niche quality and feel but still an easy reach. smelling this reminds me that incredible designer fragrances do exist. I want to find more of them!

CreamSunshine

I have to add a new review for this now, with my post-having-covid nose! When I tried this scent before ever having covid, I liked it but there was some note in it that was a little too “much” for my extremely sensitive nose. Covid permanently weakened my sense of smell by probably about 20% though, and now La Belle smells absolutely perfect to me. This is sexy pie sweetness and I’m definitely going to get myself a bottle

beta-ionone

Smells like floral (rose, maybe?) incense cones before they're burned. Has a strong camphoraceous smell at the beginning

Himani Gupta

Smells juicy, sparkling, sweet, expensive and like s*x, all at the same time. Sexy limca lol love it

Coffeeandscents

A gorgeous sweet vanilla and candied pear. I love the mix of earthy vetiver with the sweetness and creaminess of vanilla and the pear adds a unique touch. Definitely one of my favorites!!!!

amanda0727

Sweet pear overload with non distinct floral and i get some leather if tried really hard. That being said, it is a lovely easy reach for any ocasion all year long.

La Vie en Luxe

I absolutely adore this perfume. It is delicious, syrupy pear and vanilla but with a little hint of sophistication. Although it's sweet, it's not childish. Really good performance too. Basically, near perfection!

goblinpixie

Sexy vanilla, this stuff gives me actual succubus vibes so it’s of course my go to for date night. La Belle is STRONG and performs very well, even on my skin she lasts forever.

To my nose I mostly get the syrupy pear and vanilla, but I loooove the touch of vetiver and leather to give it an edge while still staying so feminine.

10/10 🖤

eatinsoap

I love, love, LOVE this perfume! I received it in a book of samples last Christmas and knew I had to have it. I’m a gourmand girl, and this is the most interesting perfume I own. It’s very spicy, and the vanilla is complicated on my skin. I amp either vetiver or leather, something that makes this scent very unisex while still being sweet. This perfume is the one to wear if you like receiving compliments, everyone who gets close to me always asks, “Who smells so good?” And then I get to smile inwardly because I know they’re talking about me. I didn’t realize this was a popular fragrance, it kind of makes me sad. I want to be the only person on earth who wears La Belle.

manon_crts

An enchanting fragrance skillfully blending sweet and floral notes. The harmony of juicy pear, sensual vanilla, and warm musk creates a captivating olfactory experience. While very classic, it leaves a lasting impression, making it a perfect choice for those seeking their signature scent.

Fred666

Signature Quentin Bisch tart and sweet. Well blended and a little bit weird. Can't get enough of it in the winter months. It just works with my skin chemistry. I hope it's never discontinued. I've got a 3.4 oz back up bottle that was from the launch. Thinking of getting another.

This is not a scent that you will smell on everyone, everywhere. So i'd say buy yourself a bottle and enjoy it.

FragranceJunkie95

This is probably the best perfume I’ve ever smelled in my life. It never fails to get me compliments . I pray the formula never changes.

paulamurrrz

this has to be one of the best perfumes i’ve smelled in my life lol. it’s such a seductive scent, i don’t know if i would wear this casually but i definitely neeed this perfume, might indulge for christmas. it’s like a mature and sexy vanilla, love love love.

stinkyhera

syrupy pear, done really well

Samsfavescents

This scent is IT. I rarely ever get compliments on what perfume I’m wearing, but Every. Single. Time. I wear La Belle, I can bet at least one person asking me what I’m wearing. I even went into a department store and had a girl at the fragrance counter ask what in the world I was wearing because she had to have it!

It is gourmand, sweet, syrupy, and delicious. I do find its best performance is in the colder months, where the sweetness doesn’t turn as sour on your body chemistry. Overall this is one I’m so happy to have in my collection, and highly recommend!

noodlehead19

imagine the sexiest woman you've ever seen eating a boozy pear galette in a real leather jacket. that's La Belle. the leather threw me off at first, but it's tolerable for me here. there aren't any spices listed in the notes, but I'm getting something warm and cinnamon-y (the leather?) that gives it the dessert vibe. one of the strongest frags in my collection for sure, creates an enormous scent bubble & lasts forever. I wouldn't make this an everyday scent, absolutely not for the office imo, rather a special occasion where you want to be the center of attention (in a good way). a very surprising find for me since leather and I don't always get along, but I think I'll keep Ms. Belle around for a while.

JoyousOne

People are EXTREMELY stingy with compliments. Even when you smell good, ppl are reluctant to tell you. One thing for sure is that La Belle from Jean Paul Gaultier ALWAYS makes ppl open their mouths to compliment me. Yesterday I wore this layering combination with YSL Libre Le Parfum. No matter what I layer La Belle with or if I wear it solo, I'm 𝗕𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗗 to get stopped. Yesterday a guy said to me, "Excuse me!" I thought he was saying it to get past me. I kept walking and he stopped. I could feel him looking at me after hearing the third, "Excuse me!" I turned around and he lit up like I was an angel escorting him through the pearly gates. He sd, "What are you wearing?" I gave him the long drawn out version, designer, name, and used my near perfect french accent to accompany my thorough fragrance enthusiast answer. Then, later on a lady walked by me and stopped to ensure she let me know how good I smelled. She sd she smelled something in the air and looked around and realized it was me even though I wasnt next to her. These are POWERHOUSE fragrances. You will definitely smell be before you see me and I'll leave you wondering about my personality once I pass you by!

lukah26_r

Gotta give it to my crush so she smells as good sa me

rasteria

I can smell rose, vanilla, some abstract fruits. The base is very similar to Narciso Rodrigues Musc Noir and SJP Lovely muscs, I can smell it even after the shower. It is a beauty in cold weather and by cold I mean below 10 Celcius.

lilyfarwest

The opening is a gourmand candied sweet pear, So delicious !
Then it gets spiceier in a very elegant way.
And as it dries down on the skin the tonka and the vanilla gets so rich and sexy !

To me this frangrances is so feminine and hot, besides the spillage and longevity are very good !

thaochipnd

I don't like this fragrance, even though I've tried it a few times. La Belle is sexy and seductive, but the Pear and Vetiver scent feels sticky and stuffy on my skin. The plus point is that the bottle design is very beautiful, and the spray nozzle of every JPG bottle is very smooth.

canabena

I have to leave another review, the silage on this is amazing. I wore this last night and this morning the scent was still soo strong and on my skin at that. I had changed my clothes when I woke up the scent was radiating off of my arm, Ive never had a fragrance last so long on my skin! not only is this perfume beautiful but also long lasting and for the price on the discounted sites this is beyond worth it.To top it off to me this perfume could be worn any time of day for any occasion. I dont find it cloying at all its perfectly sweet. To me it smells sweet yet clean at the same time it gives the vibe of a well put together woman who is very beautifl.

hotbaby1

Niche vibes here. This might be my favorite in my collection… I wore it at 6pm yesterday, the scent was strongly on my skin today at 11am. It’s beast mode, it’s ultra feminine. Pear and vanilla blended to a sweetness perfection, Quentin created the most seductive fragrance, a classy seductive but still easy to wear (only in cold weather). I’m head over heels for La Belle, and people really like it.

shaym1n

I’m in love! So sweet and sexy. I need this in my life.

Sjess

I love QB’s work but it is a bit hit & miss sometimes. This one is a definite miss for me. Too sweet, too youngish, headache inducing. Huge disappointment because it has such raving reviews here! With the risk of sounding snobby, his work for mainstream brands just don’t seem to work for me so I will stick to his other frags for Maison Crivelli, Amouage and Parfums de Marly.

tiaradoll

i tried this while i was at an airport this summer, this had such a lovely warm opening, it reminded me of christmas almost, i smelled delicious blackberry pie topped with warm pear syrup fresh out of the oven and i almost licked my hand i swear i can smell the leather and beany vetiver on the drydown, but to me its just a lovely gourmand!! in my opinion i would call this the scent of christmas magic its so cozy ❤️❤️

subtlyyours

I’ve been knocking leather fragrances out of fear due to my distaste for leather irl, but my sister gifted me this for my birthday and i feel guilty having blown off so many leather frags in the past because this is so good!
It’s the perfect sweet, sultry, night out scent. It’s very strong with incredible longevity and sillage. Reminds me a little of CH GG. The perfect scent to wear on NYE imo

eau.de.emily

this one is just too sweet for me. I have an 90% full 1.7oz bottle and am looking to sell or swap with la belle intense -- DM me if interested!

aprilnicole

Oh God they better not EVER discontinue this one. It's like sex and a candy shop. It's an intoxicant. It makes me feel irresistible and gorgeous, even as I'm just sitting here in my pajamas lol. 😆

InnaSha

I had this perfume for over 2 years and its still one of my favorites. So addictive and delicious, I crave it!

orthelos2013

This is my favorite female fragrance by a long shot. Nothing really comes even close to this one. It's like a sex in a bottle. Extremely seductive. This should be straight up illegal for women to wear this one that's how good it is.

1fabgal

Please excuse the typos in my previous review— kept getting interrupted.
*bit
*definitely worth a try

1fabgal

This is a sweet pear vanilla fragrance. It’s a bit brighter than the Le Parfum (which is darker and very rich). It reminds me a lot of Kayali Deja Vu White Flower, and a bit like L’Interdit — just crank up the pear and vanilla sweetness, and dial back the florals a blit. Armani Si Passione also has some similarities, IMO, but not as much as the other two I mentioned. It’s definitely if you like gourmands with a prominent pear note.

Sarahaliii

I bought tjis based on recommendation and lots of rave im not very fond of it very cloying for me maybe it well grow on me in cooler weather def a night scent if ur into sweet gourmand ull love it .. smells like ambery vanilla fruity

Ihatecords

I got it yesterday an I'm IN LOVE. I mostly get a juicy spicy fear with a gorgeous vanilla in the background. Get this instead of the intense version.

vtothek

I like this but it’s very incredibly sweet. That being said, it’s somehow a mature sweet and definitely not something you would smell on a kid. Pear absolutely dominates the opening notes, but very quickly it turns into a leather/amber/vanilla scent with a powerful sillage and pretty good longevity. This is definitely a cool weather scent and would be far too heavy to be worn in summer. If this were any sweeter it would be incredibly cloying, but as it stands it’s just sweet enough that it isn’t quite tooth-rotting. Not bad.

MarkZero

Do you eat your fragrances?

This is straight up, French perfumery!

10/10 (because delicious lasts long)

From a gentleman.

Delideliciouss

Really Delicious 🤤
Sweet and sensual 🌹

Rangel7

La Belle by Jean Paul Gaultier was touted as a sexy fragrance, but I have to say, it's more like a warm and cozy embrace for me. This scent unfolds on my skin like a delicious dessert, with notes of baked pears and rich vanilla. It's thick, almost opulent, and perhaps carries a touch of maturity.

The inclusion of leather and vetiver adds a dash of glamour and a subtle powdery quality. As it settles on the skin, it seems to sweeten up a bit, making it all the more inviting.

While it may not project very far, you have to be quite close to enjoy it, the longevity is impressively good. The dry down is a pleasant amber musk experience, and overall, it's a nice, well-blended fragrance that ticks all the right boxes. I'm definitely adding it to my rotation for this fall and winter season.

ganesha

did i get a bad batch? i thought i’d smell the vanilla. it smells like… febreeze.

Fifi3131

Spicy caramelized pear 🍐🍦with lot's of creamy vanilla delicious 😋 sexy perfume for cooler weather
The drydown it's everything but the thing that makes this perfume cloying it's the vetiver I hate the vetiver and leather besides that it's perfect
Sillage and longevity: +12hrs

ReeReeLove

This one is just ok to me. Nothing like I expected based on the rave reviews. I get the pear and leather instantly which at very first spray opened to my nose kind of like licorice then it transformed into a pear leather cinnamon combo. I have no clue where I'm getting the cinnamon from but I definitely perceive something in here to be cinnamon. It's very thick, sweet and syrupy. I'm not getting much floral notes. I could see this best layering with another fragrance to tone down the sweetness because it begins to get rather cloying. I have this in the travel size. I like it enough to use it up but I won't be repurchasing.

CeeLeeBee

This smells glamorous and mature to me. Like a woman who has the perfect outfit for every occasion and has flawless hair and makeup at all times. That is very not me, so I feel incongruous with myself when I wear La Belle. It feels like something a Kardashian type of woman would wear, and that's just not me at all.

As for the scent itself, It's a strong powdery vanilla with sweet berries/fruit. I suppose what I'm picking up as powdery is probably the leather and vetiver, but I don't really read either note distinctly. I actually thought it was tonka before coming in here and reading the notes. I've also seen La Belle described as a gourmand, but I don't know if I get that. The vanilla isn't really an edible vanilla to my nose because the powdery/leather/vetiver note keeps it from getting super sweet. I guess it's kind of gourmand adjacent.

It also has enormous sillage and lasting power. I sprayed it on one wrist at the mall, and the rest of the day/evening my husband said he could smell La Belle everywhere I was. Again, not something I prefer in a fragrance. I want to be noticed, but I don't need my perfume to linger behind me with huge scent trails.

Overall, not for me, but I can appreciate why other people might like it. I know people who could absolutely pull La Belle off, but I am not one of them.

Célia Pais

On my skin lasts all Day ♥️

Angel2509

I bought a travel size after seeing outstanding reviews here & youtube about its fragrance & sillage but man I was disappointed as
1. It’s a very familiar mature fragrance that I have smelt on many women before.. very common
2. No projection!! Only i smell it - this was a big turn off
3. The notes smell far from what described, Smells musky & amber nothing like vanilla or pear.

And I don’t even want to talk about the longevity on the skin, it disappears in an hour.. 😐 almost in tears writing till here..

Glad I didn’t waste my money on a big bottle coz it would have definitely been a bad blind buy!

yanitsvet

I find it strange that no one associated it with Good Girl by Carolina Herrera. To me, they smell quite similar, and if you like one, you can't help but like the other. I like this one more - deeper, sexy, and sweet fragrance, I can't say it's unique, but it smells very nice for sure!

Jazzebela

This smells like eating pear fruit gushers in a black leather jacket

amantedelte

The notes of this perfume seemed like a no brainer for me , in terms of that I assumed I'd like this fragrance..
I liked how it smelled on the card at the store, the lady sprayed some on my wrists and told me to go on with my shopping and see how the fragrance dries down on. my skin, I'm glad I did because it did not evolve nicely on me, I think I have it down to one note that bothers me, the AMBER. It reminded me a little of SI , which also did not agree with my skin chemistry but smelled fabulous on the card.

The opening is fruity, sticky summer glazed pudding vibes for me, then I was disappointed because it just gave me a headache after 15 mins and kept getting worse!

I remember loving the JPG Classique back in the 90's- it was my big Sister's perfume and smelled great on her, but this doesn't seem to have any of the DNA.

disintegrations

Incredibly gourmand, like syrupy, caramel, baked pears with cinnamon and warm spices. The image this brings to me is being a teenage boy over at your friends house, and his super attractive mom is baking you guys cookies... that's who wears this fragrance lol. I like it a lot, but I don't think it's made for young women in their twenties, it's more for mature women who also have a mischievous and seductive side to them.

Nanalvzpink

Sampled this for a few months and this is definitely Vanilla driven. Longevity is amazing and reminds me a lot of Musk Noir Rose by Narciso but this is much sweeter and obviously less rosy. However, the dry down is very similar to the Narciso perfume that I just mentioned which is now discontinued.

I will be getting a full bottle ASAP.

ANNAFRYS

I like this scent its sweet and sensual. On me first plan is musky amber I feel only these two notes. Later I feel behind and far away Wood scent and bit of vanille. I dont like this can container box would be enough. Its a gorgeous bottle I got 50ml but going for 100 tommorow. BTW I do understand some of you sensing metallic synthetic scent I got itI feel it too in my opinion its from black pepper and orange zest even thou there is none of these in the list

Kuty22

I will always love this scent, it's just fantastic I prefer to wear it in fall

Eman Gheba

I liked the scent initially but there’s some note in here, possibly the pear, that smells very synthetic on my skin :( but a pretty scent on paper.

VanillaPeaches

I fell in love with this in the store. This was alluring and sexy to me. I received it today and I can't stop smelling my own wrist. I can't wait to wear this on a night out with my hubby and see what sort of reaction I get. It settles down quite mild into a pleasant vanilla scent. I wish it stayed a little stronger. I might have to grab an extra bottle for my bag. I looooove it.

Célia Pais

Can anyone tell me if la Belle gets more intense over time? I tested it in the store and loved the smell. You feel a very strong pear with a touch of cinnamon and I even feel the leather in the evolution. So I bought a 30ml bottle and when I got home it doesn't seem like the same perfume. The liquid is clearer, not as dark as the tester... And in fact I smell a very light apple-like scent, but I don't feel the leather note or that strong pear. I'm a little upset because I know he's real and i don't understand.

alyssarware

It's so good. I feel like at the opening I get like a Dr Pepper vibe and it dries down to a warm spiced pear. Like a cooked, glazed pear. It's gonna be great for the fall. Only thing is I feel like it doesn't last long, I'm 4 hours in and can barely smell it now

Binst145

I never thought I liked vanilla, but I do like La Belle EdP. It is a candied pear and vanilla fragrance that lasts well and projects well. I like some gourmand scents and this one I do love in colder weather. It works well with my skin chemistry and it doesn‘t smell like anything else in my collection.

OtherPeople'sChildren

Loved the pear opening, but once this settled on my skin, it became overwhelmingly syrupy sweet. I’m a gourmand girly and La Belle is still too much for me.

The13thHour

La Belle is that girl! This is a wonderful gourmand perfume.

AinoKaroliina

I blind bought La Belle due to all the hype surrounding it. From the way I heard people describe this perfume I was expecting this to be a dark and heavy, sensual fragrance best suited for fall or winter, but I was surprised how delightfully fresh the scent is right from the first spray and I'd say it's wearable all year round. It's powerful and long lasting, but not offensive or overpowering. This is a youthful, though not juvenile, scent.

At the beginning this smells sweet and fruity reminding me of pear flavored candies and soon turns into a delicious, tempting vanilla. This is a very feminine and flirtatious scent. The sweetness is at a perfect level, not sickeningly sweet. Even though the vanilla note is clearly noticeable, it's not an in-your-face artificial vanilla, it's a creamy, smooth, natural note. Subtle smokiness can be detected in the background giving the scent a sexy vibe.

I have really fallen in love with this addictive fragrance. When I'm wearing it I keep bringing my arm near my nose to smell it like I can't get enough. My husband seems to love this on me too. The bottle I think is beautiful and I love to keep it on display

lickroicevanille

JS Fancy with a bit more vanilla. Nothing grounbreaking.

I sprayed one on one hand and the other on the other hand. Couldn't believe it, how shockingly the drydown is the same.

charredrol

I have a strange, love-hate obsession with La Belle.
Sniffed it in-store. Loved it. Ordered a travel size. Felt neutral about it. Went back and purchased the intense version (Le Parfum) as my first "big girl" perfume. Months later, I crawled back to my La Belle travel size and tried it, not wanting to waste. I was almost angry at myself for falling in love with it all over again.

It's incredibly sweet, juicy, gourmand, bordering juvenile at first. Maybe it's the leather and vetiver that reel it back in and keep it from being cloying to me, but there's not a single note listed in it I don't already love. The longevity is great (8+ hours), but the scent definitely closes in after 3 hours or so.

La Belle isn't work-friendly, and I could definitely see it being cloying in hot weather. By no means is it blind-buy friendly. I'm not even sure I'd call it sexy or "vampy", but men do like it -- although my grandmother says it stinks like a french whore.

When I want to smell feminine and sultry, I wear this. I hope I find it nostalgic later in life.

jward03

This. Is. STUNNING! La Belle opens with a mouthwatering pear scent that will make your eyes roll back into your head. The pear lingers throughout the dry-down with supporting notes of leather, florals, and vanilla cheering it on in the background. I only have a 0.27 oz travel spray from Fragrancenet, but I will def be purchasing a full bottle of this one! I think she is a safe blind buy for lovers of sweet, fruity perfumes. I will add that it's confusing to me how in some pictures, the juice looks purple, and in others the juice looks red. Maybe the liquid turns darker once the vanilla has matured? Nonetheless, JPG is turning out to be one of my favorite fragrance (as well as fashion) houses!

Laurus

Horrendous. It is sharply cloying. It is sweet but not candy sweet. I just can not with this scent. There is nothing mezmerizing like egually sickening I want choo forever has. It is just generic but sickening. I got a sample in a discovery kit and this for sure wont be my choice for fullsize.
EDIT update: So I have been spraying from my sample few times more and this hate has turned to like. It is less strong than both versions Jimmy Choo I want choo and there is something that I like. The vanilla turns rather delicious. It is one of those weird ones where hate turns to love. Kinda like my husband.

Selenity

Starting to realize I hate leather notes. It adds a unique facet to the scent profile but to my nose it usually dates a perfume to the point of being antiquated. Leather and fruit is giving me porcelain dolls and wood paneling vibes. The vanilla becomes increasingly predominant as it wears until it smells like cake, which I’m guessing is the effect they wanted the addition of leather to give but that opening is just not it. I’m definitely disappointed for a fragrance that gets so much hype from social media influencers.

bengii

Jpg- La Belle is a gorgeus gourmand and it has become my fixation at this point. This is a very sexy syrupy pear scent with vetiver which adds depth and complexity to this perfume.
From my experience, men seem to like this one a lot, it's a good first date perfume ;)
More suitable for colder months but can be worn on summer nights too.

Tinabill

If you were John Paul Gaultier, with ground-breaking scents up your sleeve, and you’ve invested in creating a perfume that turns out less earth shattering than it’s predecessors but more mass pleasing, how do you ensure it is still a success? well, you pour the juice in an even more eye-catching flacon, and you push every other Youtuber and her cousin to chant its praises to the consumers.
Is that saying it is a mediocre fragrance? absolutely not! The vetiver and leather notes render La Belle more unique than most recent perfumes on the market, even among niche. It also has great performance, but the vetiver and leather were added with a timid hand, so it leans more towards a mass pleasing gourmand. Had the dose of leather or vetiver been more, it would have been truly of groundbreaking quality at designer price.
Is it full bottle worthy? probably. I have a spray sample but will look out for a discount on a full bottle.

adelinka

Finally tried this in the shop today. For the most part, this smells like straight up fruity, floral hand soap to me. You know, the typical kind. The dry-down after some hours is better, but nothing interesting. Overall, unremarkable. I'm disappointed, as I expected to really like it based on reviews. At least it's inoffensive, I suppose I could appreciate it on someone else.

Melody Valentine

Gorgeous. I've had a sample of this for ages but never really bothered with it. Just tried it now and it's beautiful. A proper syrupy gourmand but with a really good quality vanilla. It reminds me of the vanilla base of Gentle Fluidity Gold but if you added fruit and made it much more gourmand, they're very different perfumes overall though. I've gone off a lot of designer perfumes but I'd be very happy if someone bought me this. It's similar in vibe to La Vie Est Belle, but much nicer and without the patchouli, in my opinion. You could easily wear it for a sexy night out, or in, as it's an ultra feminine, thick, super sweet, boozy, sexy perfume. Mmm, I hadn't even had this on my radar but this really is lovely. I'm annoyed I've only got a tiny sample of it tbh coz I'd wear this today. Full bottle worthy, and that's from me who's been into totally different styles of perfume for a while. I did used to be a full on gourmand girl though, before I even knew there was a word for it, so if you are then you'll likely love it too. If you're completely into freshies then probably not. It has a bit of a cotton candy smell in the air. A few years ago this would not have escaped my attention for so long, it'd have been an immediate favourite. I don't get anything aquatic, like at ALL, so I'm not sure why that's listed. If you're expecting anything remotely watery and fresh you'll be disappointed. This is full on sweet, vanilla, syrupy fruity, heavy goodness. Not juvenile though. I can't comment on longevity or sillage, yet, but from the two sprays I did on my hand I can really smell it as I'm typing and it's lovely. I can see men loving this on a woman.

canabena

To me this smells sweet yet clean and fresh at the same time and soft spicy. I like how its a mix of all those things really gives you a different sensation when smelling it but it all blends together beautifully. This perfume has a reputation of being sexy Personally I dont get the sexyness but its very pretty and the projection is stellar. When I smell it I think of a woman who has all her bills paid and she has her life very well put together, someone thats very dominant and no nonsense. It also smells a bit more mature id say 25 and up I cant really see anyone younger wearing this. All in all a lovely perfume and im happy to have it in my collection.

fformoso88

This scent is my latest obsession! Idk why but ever since I got it I can’t stop wearing it. Like I think I’ve become addicted. That’s saying something because I have over 160 fragrances a lot of which are niche. Something about this smells so nostalgic, addicting, sweet, a spicy pear pastry that’s sexy and good enough to eat. Very edible, very gourmand, stunning, gorgeous 10/10 do recommend! Full bottle worthy,

perfumesniffer

I’ve had mixed results with most Gaultier fragrances so thought I’d give this a go since many people love it. This is a delicious spicy pear that’s quite delightful for about an hour then vanishes without a trace. Also I asked a male household member to give it a sniff while I was wearing it and he said “mmm that’s how I like all my strippers to smell,” so there’s that 😳

gourmandgirly3

a really soapy vanilla, i love the pear note. even though it doesn't last for a long time, it's a really safe and beautiful fragrance imo

lovealwaysalisa

I wasn't impressed by this one the first time I smelled it. It took a few times but I finally got what all the fuss was about. To me, it smells like a baked syrupy pear pie with a graham cracker crust or crumble topping while wearing a nice soft leather jacket with a hint of your boyfriends cologne on it. Absolute love for me. Sexy, alluring, delicious. Bottle presentation with the color of the juice is perfect as well. 10/10 ❤️

Avian

Pleasant and widely palatable, but not particularly interesting. It strongly reminds me of Avon/mark Jewel. Very sweet and fruity with a warm, clean vanilla musk undertone. Kind of along the lines of many Juicy Couture as well. You have definitely smelled this before. I don't particularly love it as I think it needs more balance and texture. If they amped up that leather and vetiver we could have gotten a unique powerhouse gourmand like Mugler Angel Muse. That said, La Belle gets points for being extremely potent. You will get your money's worth, at least!

LadyMuck

This is a beautiful,sweet pear/woody fragrance.
The notes really work together in harmony.
Very sexy and very enticing.
I love the woodiness of the scent and reminds me very slightly off By the Fireplace without the excessive smokiness.
Great scent and very wearable.

HannahRosesAreRed

I'll admit that I wasn't sure about this at first, as gourmands can be too intense on my skin–especially in the heat, when sugary vanillas can be downright suffocating and cloying, especially to passers-by. However, with cooler temperatures and June Gloom settling in my neighborhood, I decided to test this out to see how it does in cooler temperatures. At first, I was taken aback by how unbelievably sweet it is. And then as it settled and opened, it became this delicious pastry aroma. La Belle smells like freshly baked pie, specifically a pear tart, or puff pastry with jammy pear compote. It is really, really sweet–but really, REALLY nice.

I like the pear note, front and center. My skin chemistry tends to amp vanilla up to ridiculous degrees, so I was very happy to find the pear wasn't a pushover. It added a slight note of freshness and fruitiness, much needed in this sweet vanilla concoction. It's feminine to the max and very playful. It reminds me of Paco Rabanne Olympea, but trading salt for pear. I think this would be fantastic in fall, especially Halloween, a more playful and candy-centric scent for the fun side of this holiday. And it would be delightfully cozy in winter. It's a well-crafted fragrance, long lasting and decent projection. Just two to three sprays and you are good–any more and you might get a sugar-induced heart attack.

What can I say? I think I am becoming more of a gourmand girl.

EDIT: I have been wearing this in the SoCal heat and it performs SO nicely. Although I’ll use it more often for the cooler seasons, I think this is a good all-seasons fragrance! Just spray lightly and you’re all good! I'd consider it signature scent worthy as well.

Londonhermit

This dried down to warm vanilla sugar from bath and body works. It became annoying after a while. Because this is a skin scent I got whiffs of this throughout the day and it was the most basic vanilla fragrance ever. Glad I didn't buy a full sized bottle, I would have been so disappointed.

ohmydarlingcats

Pear Jam. An expensive, high quality one, but still just a jam

sweetprincessbaby

sweet, juicy pear that you want to bite, covered in vanilla frosting! lasts for so long and is so good!

perfuMEOWW

Not a gourmand girl, but I own a full bottle of this! It's the only gourmand perfume I have.

It's addicting! Sweet, warm, and a little fresh from the vanilla and pear, but it becomes floral and leathery on my skin. Not the kind of fresh floral or heavy manly leather, but just enough to make it smell very seductive and cozy at the same time. I choose this out of the other sweet gourmand perfumes because this is the least gourmand if that makes sense? Even if it's very sweet but it's not sickly. Unfortunately, La Belle Le Parfum is way way too sweet for me.

Also, wear it whenever you want. I don't believe certain perfumes should be worn in cold weather blabla, I live in Southeast Asia where it's almost always 30 degrees Celcius and I still rock it (also because we have AC everywhere).

XOXO_marcel

An absolute amber bomb. Sweet, chewy, gooey edible amber. Very strong and comes *close* to being too heavy, but doesn't cross the line.

Sexy! But good lord is it overpriced.

elfette

theres something sensual, youthful, and flirty about this perfume.
this perfume will have you smelling like a treat wrapped in a bow. i know im the best smelling person in the room when i wear this.
its so versatile and can be warn whenever, and i haven't had any problems wearing this during the summer yet...
this is the perfect sweet smelling perfume that doesn't smell like its for children or a cheap body mist.
10/10

fformoso88

…. I have no words this is so gorgeous I can’t stop wearing it since I got it and I even made it my new signature! Lol it’s just THAT good. Like a hot, warm, caramel pear pie right out the oven. Good enough to eat. Gourmand, a little spicy, sweet, definitely stunning, definitely sexy!

CarnationCelt

I'd heard through the grapevine that this was a popular 'seductive scent' as rated by men so was expecting something slightly darker and more vampy, leaning heavily on the musk note. Instead I'm greeted by this bubbly, vivacious, charming young lady!

La Belle is absolutely gorgeous - luscious, full-bodied, truly a vanilla pear dream. I could not imagine any environment where this wouldn't be welcome, but to my nose this comes out quite bright and bouncy so tends more towards a day perfume.

moonsunstars

I fell in love with La Belle the moment I smelled it in an Ulta catalog....And now that I have actually purchased a bottle? Oh my god. It hasn't even been in my collection for a week, but I feel like it might be one of my new favorite fragrances. This is such a stunning pear fragrance. Blended with the vanilla, it's just so cozy and romantic. I get hints of leather on my skin, but in no way is it harsh like it can be in other fragrances - It's merely in the background. This has amazing projection and performance too. Definitely one I can see myself wearing any season honestly.

Kameronb24!

Nothing aquatic about this but I love it

MidnightRoses

6/10- A fine scent, but doesn't live up to the massive hype.

Massive projection and strong longevity.

Feminine and warm. Soft and innocent, but in a way that's "put on"- as if you're batting your eyes to convince a man you're naïve.

Not too old, not too young. I could see a woman anywhere between 25-50 wearing this. This is 100% feminine, I don't know what some of these other reviewers are smelling...

Strong bergamot/pear opening, gives way to a VERY sweet vanilla about 15 minutes in. My partner compared it to opening a bag of powdered sugar. Could definitely give you a headache if you're prone to that. No leather or florals for me, but there is that hint of vetiver.

One reviewer mentioned it getting MUCH sweeter as it dries down, that is absolutely true. It's far too sweet in the middle for me to be able to make anything out. But it gets better after about an hour and a half.

Overall, it feels shallow and empty. You can get something of similar depth from Bath & Body Works.

Smell it first if you can, but if you're into super sweet and vanilla, this could be for you! Personally, I'll be trying to trade it out. (PM me if you're interested!)

Gillzathrillza

She’s bold, she’s sexy, she’s reeling in the men…but she needs resprayed every hour and she’s also pricey.

I love it. My bank balance doesn’t.

When I wear this, it feels like I’m spraying liquid confidence on myself. A sweet vanilla amber bomb of a scent. Perfect for nights out.

I’ve been told by other people that this perfume makes them feel things - wear it with caution.

islandgyal2003

This is an incredibly gorgeous fragrance. This perfume is sweet with notes of vanilla and pear. It’s most suitable for fall, and you’re guaranteed to receive many compliments. Please be careful when removing the bottle from its dreadful packaging; it is easy for the bottle to fall out. It’s a shame that such a beautiful fragrance comes in a tin can.

tmt69

This scent is sexy as hell. The opening is like a poached pear with spices and vanilla ice cream, and the dry down is almost identical to the scent of Bounce dryer sheets (the Outdoor Fresh variety). An eclectic combo but it works!

sarahlage

So lovely and feminine! What a beautiful scent. I actually think that this is a safe blind buy and perhaps even a good starter perfume if you're into sweet scents. Truly beautiful! I will probably buy the full size. I love the prominent pear note in the opening and the vanilla-forward dry down. The floral notes are gorgeous as well.

AmoreProfumi

This smells soo good, very sexy sweet yet still classy grown & luxe; I love both this and Le Beau. Just love Gaultier scents in general for the way he does sweet with out being too juvenile & of the endless variations and most recent flankers I love this collection the best, to the work of art bottles, it’s all a yes!

Jade-Ange D

Gaultier never misses.
It was my signature scent in 2022 and I emptied the flanker so fast that my bank account can't catch up to buy another flanker for the moment.
But I will definitely buy it again when I will find enough money for the 100ml bottle.
Not only the design of the bottle is wonderful as well as magnificent, but so does the scent.
It is a perfectly sweet sugary candied pear, surrounded by the sweetness of the vanilla and bergamot as well as the slight deepness of the vetiver, amber and leather to give more depth and intensity to the already perfect blend.

Unique, sweet, beast mode, one of a kind scent, I recommend it a 100 %

10/10 without hesitation.

angelicforce777

very juicy pear and a mix of vanilla! i love sweet perfumes so this one is nice!!

TheNyx2003

It smells like a pear and vanilla cotton candy and a little spice leaning that you can rarely found at least to my nose and on my skin ;) , so sweet if you're not into very sweet perfumes for sure this one is not for you , but to me it smells good but frankly nothing more ;
Don't get me wrong it does really smells good but maybe it's not my cup of tea , but i compliment sillage of la belle it's strong not enormous but strong for sure
; to being honest i wanted to repurchase libre intense but i found la belle , bought a sample of it and then i compare them and to me libre intense is winner ☺️

Icarel

Divine.I imagine Venus, in the birth of Venus painting, smelling like this. Another successful and coherent bottle/name/scent combo. A beautiful caramelized, buttery and very sweet pear that will transform the person wearing it into a mouth-watering treat. I distinguish pear, vanilla and leather during the whole life of this perfume, which is eternal. Few sprays are enough, be careful!! It lives up to its name, and it is made to please, charm, and seduce and therefore, I do not find very versatile. I can't see it in a professional, formal environment and/or closed places, it could be too much or inappropriate. I wouldn't recommend it for every day, it's really tooooooo delicious. Rather fun and sultry IMO. As always, JPG perfumes never disappoint.

HazzofSteel

Funny thing is I tried this out while I was at Macy’s and I hated it! Like, I was embarrassed to be out to lunch with my friends because I just was not feeling it. My friends liked it though. However, throughout the day, I just kept getting whiffs of it and kept smelling my wrist. Then a switch flipped and I really liked it. I kept obsessing about it for a week and went back to Macy’s and gave myself another spritz and had the associate spray it on a card. For another 2 weeks, I kept smelling it (yeah, it stayed fragrant on the card that long). I had to have it. I found a gift box with a full size, a travel size and a body lotion for a great price, so my fiancé told me to get it. I wanted to wear it so bad that I told him we needed a date night so I could wear it. I am in LOVE with this. I can’t really smell pear, but I CAN smell absolute deliciousness. And now I want the intense version to add to my collection.

Julie Davis

This is so yummy ! Every sniff makes me feel happy ! Gonna wear it year round ! 😃

buriedinthewoods

Bad experience. I bought it at a normal retail store and I received a different scent than what the tester in multiple stores smells like. It was all suffocating leather and sour and rotting hay. I like vetiver on it's own, but in this bottle it's unrecognizable. No pear and sweet vanilla like in the store. Shame on you Jean Paul Gaultier for selling fragrance without proper product quality control.

ambervxyjul

Just got this in the mail and wow how beautiful this scent is. It truly doesn’t smell like anything else on the market. I get a caramelized pear graham cracker pie. I usually stay away from sweet scents, they tend to be nauseating for me. But this is sweet in a mature way! Not sweet like viva la juicy or pink sugar. It’s a grown women sweetness and I’m in love! I instantly see this as a perfume I’ll reach for when I go out clubbing or drinking. I have a feeling men would go feral for this. I will update if I get any compliments.

sugarcoatedreams

This is soo good! It smells so delicious and seductive. I’ve never smelled a fragrance similar to this one

brightsun2205

Boozy poached pears in a bottle.

This is an easy, grab-and-go and sexy fruity vanilla Autumn/Winter fragrance that we can wear on date nights, evenings and intimate nights.

TexasOrangeBlossom

Just thought I add my thoughts on wearability during the year. I have worn this year round in hot humid Texas. As long as you don't spray and immediately walk out the door, it's fine. I actually prefer it with a little body heat. Something gets lost on me in cold weather.

Dee97

When I first sprayed this it literally made me gag, reminded me of cough syrup. Fast forward a couple of hours later, I could smell something really nice but I didn’t know what it was. Turns out it was this! This time it smelled like a pear dessert with vanilla custard, but in a perfume way. I’m definitely going to check this out again.

Atkrva

This fragrance is absolute perfection. It opens with a large blast of fresh, juicy pear with a bit of spice. I almost didn’t buy this fragrance when I initially tested it on paper because i felt it had a very sharp incense type smell to it. However, I’m so glad that I did because it settles so nicely on the skin and smells even better in the air, leaving an amazing scent trail. The dry down is heavy on the vanilla, but the vetiver and the musk prevents it from being too cloying and sweet. I know that a lot of people recommend this mainly as a winter/nighttime scent, however for me the pear is so fresh and juicy that it really brightens up the fragrance and can be worn all year round as well, if not worn too heavily.

This scent is superrrrrrr long lasting and has insane projection. For me, one spray or two very light sprays is enough.

LaMiaRosa

Wow! This really does live up to the hype for me and as someone who likes this kind of scent profile, I'd say this is a great option. Today I'm testing a bunch of perfumes but this is the one that stands out as the most delicious and pleasant to me.

It's gourmand yet clean, and I'm shocked there's no iris in this. There was a huge blast of pear at first, but it quickly disappated and I get a lovely bergamot-y vanilla. Gorgeous! I absolutely love (and want) this.

Shahrzaad

I don’t know if it’s my post-covid nose or what, but for the life of me I cannot believe this perfume has so many fans. It smells like a deeper version of cheap Victoria’s Secret sweet body splashes. It smells like candy. Where is the “baked pear tart” smell? How is what I am getting so different from all the reviews? Although I have to stress I am recovering from Covid and I am in a phase where I am even hating the sweet gourmands in my own collection.
I am so glad I only got a six ml bottle.
Update: I came to the conclusion this fragrance makes me feel unclean and smelly. Gave my 6 ml bottle away, to a colleague who loved it.

call me zi

My sister just bought her second bottle. I never owned it but always smelled it on her. It truly smells like a rich lady walked in the room (in good way, not the poodle ladies the other ones). It's elegant and I think is a good winter smell.

nzascentz

jpg never fails to make a woman feel feminine & mature. this fragrance embodies those two words.

a rich, decadent pear pastry with vanilla extract is what i get from this perfume. i always get complimented on this fragrance whenever i wear it. the lasting power is INSANE & you only need about 3 sprays with the widespread spritz from the atomizer.

the bottle is exactly what i feel i look like with it on. i would go as far as to say it exudes boss woman energy.

Sweetboy05

@jeanette123 Yes, this has the leather note.

jeanette123

I'm so confused. Is this the one with the leather note? I cannot find this fragrance because the other one without the leather keeps popping up instead. I love the one with the leather. It's just enough leather and a beautiful fragrance. I wish I could find it.

damnyousmellgood

Super sweet, warm, delicious vanilla pear pie scent. It amazes me how well they managed to make this a truly warm scent, it really smells like I have a hot steaming pie in front of me. The opening to me is very fruity sweet with some brightness from the bergamot, smells similar to pear soda. After that it settles into a warm vanilla, the pear goes from bright and fruity soda to a warm poached pear.

Overall super seductive, alluring, feminine scent. Smells like the bottle looks. So far my all time favorite, a gourmand lover's dream.

PattyLovesScents

One of the most sexy, sexual, sensual smells around. It gives me boudoir vibes in a beautiful way. You get the fruit, vanilla and amber scents and they last a long time. There is also a sexy soft almost powder vibe but in beautiful way. One sniff and you just envision being in a dressing room at a Parisian Burlesque show (a classy, sexy show nothing tawdry). I love this fragrance but have very few places to wear it in my normal day to day life. Wear this with your most beautiful foundation garments and you will feel like walking s*x.

scent.2go

One of my favs! Such a beautifull vanilla and pear. Very long lasting and huge projection. I was chaised at the shop, lady wanted to ask what I am wearing.

Scorpeous

This scent needs to macerate to give its full potential!!!

I hated this one when I first got my decant.
After a few months I can smell what everyone is talking about with the spiced pear goodness!
I love pear in fragrance but, the type of vanilla that’s in it… that “boozy” feel is a bit of a turn off for me. That with the vetiver combo… it’s a bit intense.
I would reserve this strictly for the autumn season and will enjoy my decant.
Not full bottle worthy IMO

volleyballlibero4

Pears dipped in toasted caramel - Juicy and erotic. Others say it lasts and projects, but on me, it just doesn't. Maybe it's the Florida heat, but despite it sitting close to the skin for me, it will be intoxicating. If you know someone will be that close to get good whiffs, they will want to eat you, no doubt about it.

Funny side note is something about this concoction makes me sneeze every time I spray it, but after a minute or 2, I get used to it. This is my bf's fav of my entire collection followed by Jazz Club.

Acrelune

I wore this for a year (well half a year, as I generally open two perfumes a year, one for cold and one for warm weather), and at first I was absolutely in love with it, but with time I kinda got bored.
It is however a very nice Vanilla-Pear scent, very pleasant and very crowd pleasing.
The pear adds nuances to the vanilla, so if you’re a vanilla lover you will most definitely enjoy this one.
My husband adores it.

7.5/10

fformoso88

I just got this today and Wow!!! I love this fragrance house! JPG fragrances never disappoint. This one is no different I actually think it smells better than some of my “niche” fragrances. This is very Pear, vanilla, warm, spicy, sexy. This is like a hot pear pie fresh out of the oven. Smells delicious and sweet but not sickening sweet. The sweetness is grounded by the leather and Vetiver. This is stunning. I’m definitely glad I got it. I definitely recommend and you will get compliments on it too.

aicwilo

It is powerful and sickengly sweet, not everyone can pull it off. it is not something i would wear everyday, i think you need to wear the fragrance instead of it wearing you. there is something narcotic and addicting about the spiced pear scent. its my go to for big night-out evenings

Prance!

My girlfriend at the time was wearing this in a soft red dress for a date. It was so unexpected. We were going out for lunch and I couldn't help myself but to continously grab her by the waist every now and then and kiss her any chance I got. Anything she said for the next couple of hours I really tried my best to listen and reciprocate, except I couldn't help but keep thinking how she smells so good. We walked around the park a little bit after, and the lingering smell of this sweet fruity pear vanilla concoction would flutter in the air around her. It was so lush and sexy but so elegant at the same time.

I think it is perfect for dates of course, especially date nights. Winter, autumn, early spring and perhaps cool summer days too but I wouldn't wear this in summer generally. The scent can be rather cloying when heat gets to it. The sillage on this is powerful and I really think this is a head turner fragrance.

celestial

This perfume smells very sweet and candy-like, but it's also kind of airy rather than being rich and heavy. I like it but it's not interesting or complex enough to make me want to buy it. It reminds me of Warm Vanilla Sugar by BBW and Vanille Noir by Yves Rocher, both of which I've always liked.

Adjr1087

I'm giving this one a second chance and it's changing from hate to love for me. I'll do a full day wear this week and return with more opinions :)

Cmlake89

If you love the opening of La Belle, do yourself a huge favor and go buy Silken Tent by Alkemia and layer them together. I have found my combo and love it!!

theperfumequeentiktok

I love this one. It’s kind of playful but grown at the same time. I love the blend of the notes & the guys seem to love this one too. Will always be in my collection while it can be

ChocoLei

I’ll never get bored of the opening, be it for the original or Le Parfum. Mouthwatering pie or dare I say bread crust. It feels more like some kind of flavorful, wholegrain flour vs a plain one. It only lasts for a few seconds but the crusty notes smell as potent as a pie / loaf of bread fresh out of the oven.

The pear is, just like the rest of the perfume, extremely sweet-- I'd say syrupy-sweet, even. Seriously, don’t overspray this perfume— I did when I first tried it and I got one hell of a headache! Made me scared of trying it ever again lol. Sprayed sparingly, it feels just right, addictive. It does feel very playful and sexy.

I must say that the OG and the Le Parfum flanker always gave me scented Barbie doll vibes and I don't know why? I can't remember if I ever had a scented Barbie doll, but I did own other sweet-scented toys. These two perfumes just make me feel like the cutest living doll, for some reason.

Of course, La Belle has the legendary JPG sillage and projection. Again, no need to overspray because everyone will smell you before they see you from up close and as you'll be walking away from them. Also, you better love this fragrance because it will stick to your skin and clothes for a long time. Longevity is great.

If you’re not particularly fond of beast mode fragrances, you might prefer La Belle for date nights and other nightly occasions in the spring / summer, and for the day in fall / winter. However, if you don’t feel like La Belle is too suffocating, it could be a perfect transition scent from winter to spring while La Belle Le Parfum will be your companion for the colder months and nights all year round.

Sweetboy05

I love the way this smells on my mom. It's sweet, sexy, vanilla and fruity pear. Beautiful!
