So Scandal! by Jean Paul Gaultier is a Floral Fruity fragrance for women. So Scandal! was launched in 2020. So Scandal! was created by Fabrice Pellegrin and Daphné Bugey.

"She walked past me without even a second glance. A storm in just a tuxedo jacket, and her bare legs.Like an endless compass that one would follow to the end of the world. So sexy.As she strolled by, I saw them all stop mid-sentence. A shock in slow motion. So scandal-ized!
Faintly amused by the silent turbulence she sowed in her wake, she heads straight to her table, the one with her gang. Unapologetically determinedthat the show goes on, her attitude had no latitude for discretion or reserve. This woman lives on in my memory, to the point of obsession: her perfume, SoScandal! by Jean Paul Gaultier.

The very essence of a scandal.
Orange blossom, so bright, Sambac jasmine so opulent and tuberose so powdery: a threesome of white flowers that one could have sworn would deliver an angelic sweetness.
And boom! It’s a bomb of all that is sensual!
Juicy raspberry, a gourmetmilkiness with sexy undertones presses all the carnal buttons. A simple aphrodisiac, a deadly weapon that’s deeply erotic.

Daphne Bugey and Fabrice Pellegrin. It’s not their first tango.
She says "freedom is to be unafraid".
He has his own motto engraved on the back of his watch, "carpe diem", as if to better savour the scandal he created with his partner in crime.

Languidly pleasing pleats, round hips and a tiny waist, legs akimbo the up side is down. A handmade scandal. A pink sap courses through this objet, like the life juice of a dangerously irresistible fruit. The design, the drapery, this bottle sets the scene for a story that is meant to be written all through the night and maybe even into day break. Trouble and troubling sensations guaranteed.

The color of a grand cru, intensely raspberry, almost bordeaux.
Velvety shades. For a colour that colours the night with couture, sound in two parts: SoScandal! by Jean Paul Gaultier. It’s perfectly clear, and it sounds like a champagne cork explosion."

So Scandal! is available as a 30, 50 and 80ml Eau de Parfum.

i cant find her anymore! sephora guy gave me a 1 ml sample and ive been in love ever since i smelled it... soo pretty

theyerk

Hate to agree with many but it smells very similar to My Way. The scent reminds me of grape candy. That is not to say that this is the exact same, this fragrance is more candy-like and has more berry notes. The longevity and sillage of this fragrance is also better than My Way.

8/10 in my opinion

DaysScentless

@meredithe what a weird comment to make - noses work differently and everyone who smells this will pick up different notes. No need to make silly comments over this

Meredithe

Stop comparing it to My Way. Both are so different. The "reminds me of" section is so misleading not only regarding this fragrance. I guess most people have problems with their noses after COVID.

I had high hopes for So Scandal because I'm a JPG fan. I LOVE Scandal and Scandal by Night. I also love raspberry, white florals and most lactonic fragrances. I wanted to blindbuy it but I saw a tester bottle in a shop and tried it on my hand.
I read in a lot of reviews that it smells bubblegummy but a lot of perfumes that people describe as bubble gum, I don't find that way(for example a lot of people describe Givenchy L'Interdit as grape bubble gum but it doesn't remind me of bubble gum. for me it smells like Britney Spears Curious + strong tuberose) but So Scandal really reminds me of bubble gum!! the first twenty minutes smells exactly like red or pink raspberry or strawberry flavored bubble gums. it's not a bad smell but I was hopping for a deeper, creamier more gourmand/dessert-like sweetness. Britney Spears Rocker Femme has dominant blackberry and cream notes. I was imagining something like that but with raspberry instead of blackberry and even better because this one is much more expensive and comes from a luxury designer brand like JPG but in So Scandal the milk note refuses to show itself on me. I found this strawberry bubblegum stage very "Meh" but I still had hopes for white florals to showup and make it more interesting and less juvenile.
After almost half an hour finally white florals show up but their as synthetic as the raspberry note. they're like an idea of white flowers not the real deal without much creamyness. in this stage it smells like a generic white floral(very close to drydown of Armani My Way + raspberry/strawberry bubblegum) and it stays like this until it disappears. I can't be sure about sillage with a single spray but it didn't seem to be as potent as Scandal and the longevity was moderate at best. I sprayed Narciso Rodriguez Musk Noir on my other hand which doesn't seem to be that potent either but I could smell that one long hours after So Scandal's disappearance.
I think they could have released So Scandal as an individual perfume instead of a Scandal flanker because it has absolutely nothing to do with Scandal and other Scandal flankers. I didn't hate it but didn't like it enough to feel the need to buy it. It felt incomplete and without depth and left me dissatisfied because I feel it had a lot of potential. to be honest I might still buy it if I come across a great deal just to complete my Scandal collection also I hope it might grow on me if I give it some time.

Adorable! I smell more grapes or wild strawberries rather than raspberries mixed with lactonic notes and light shampoo-like base. Feels like it will be my next favorite perfume for upcoming summer!

MonaThorbourne

If anyone has So Scandal to swap or sell, please message me. This is my new love. Thank you. :-)

Elyka21

Very beautiful, well blended perfume. Hands down. To me jasmine is more prominent here than the tuberoses but all the same beautiful, I like them both.

Moshpitbunny

This is sooo enticing and intoxicating.. to say I love this fragrance is an understatement - kicking myself I didn’t get a larger bottle because it was a blind buy.

Straight from the opening from the bottle/cap you get a sweet raspberry gummy lolly/candy - but it doesn’t feel juvenile, it feels like a lolly just for adults or something, like an adult cartoon.

For the first bit I get a lot of that Pure XS orange blossom and tuberose with the raspberry lolly - the milk lurking in the background adding to the creamy tuberose - almost smells like the florals have been dusted with icing sugar and milk powder - I don’t get too much of the Jasmine. It dries down to something so magically milky and creamy - like a warm glass of milk with honey stirred in or condensed milk accompanied by a sweet raspberry tea before bed. There’s something so warm, fluffy and cuddly about this scent - but it’s not so overbearingly sweet.

For some reason I feel like the Nurse from the Blink-182 album would smell like this. It’s so sexy but comforting at the same time - I’ve never smelled anything like this and feel it’s very unique and definitely will make you stand out.

Longevity is good wore it to bed and could still smell it in the morning - my fiancé says he can smell it a bit when there’s some distance but lovely and strong up close. I don’t mind it.

Beautiful scent 10/10.

Un postre de frambuesa y leche, sobre una cama de almizcle. De mi colección el más seductor y adictivo. Dura días...

Littlethingsweetpea

Raspberry floral smoothie. It gives me Burberry Her Elixir vibes, Not My Way and not Ari. It does seem like it fits in well with the Scandal collection because the dna is in there just the slightest bit in the opening, but that's only for a millisecond. This is a velvety white floral, juicy candied raspberry, and fresh creamy vibe. All of the notes are blended into one another very well to make a smooth, sweet and a tiny bit fresh fragrance. It's suitable for all seasons and being that I purchased in February, I'm excited to wear in the spring and upcoming summer. I will definitely need to purchase a new bottle to have for fall and winter as I am 100% positive it will be siphoned out by then.

scnofthcrime

I agree with the comparisons to My Way and L'Interdit, but unlike those, So Scandal doesn't have that grape soda note on me. So Scandal is a fruitier, sweeter, and younger take on this scent profile than either of those. To me L'Interdit is the most grown and seductive/date night of the three and So Scandal is the most youthful, coquettish and more of a day time fragrance of the three.

I definitely get a candied raspberry and white florals on me. Quite pretty and so girly smelling. I could see someone wearing this all year round, but I'd say it's perfect for spring. I don't get the milk note on myself so I wouldn't recommend it to those looking for a lactonic fragrance. This one is for when you want to feel like a girly girl, cute and carefree.

gostodemanga

my go-to perfume! it’s just perfect for me. i love a good floral and fruit combo. i especially love the raspberry note, which is what makes this distinct from other white floral fragrances. it lasts about 6 hours on my skin. the only downside is that i wished the projection was a bit stronger. nevertheless, i’m in love with this perfume and it’s my everyday perfume for a reason. i think it’s appropriate for any occasion and i can see myself wearing it all year, even tho this is leaning more towards a spring scent. i feel very pretty wearing this perfume! i like to layer this one with other perfumes as well, especially armani’s my way. definitely my favorite jpg fragrance

toosimilar

I get the comparisons:
My way, So scandal, L' Interdit, Paradoxe
But IMO So scandal is for the youngest ladies out all of them, too juvenile and girly
And honestly, i don't get any milk notes

nordlanderin

A real masterpiece! Such a sweet luxurious feminine perfume. Very fruity, playful, expressive, daring, but not in an overwhelming way. It's strong, but there's no heavy base. Looking forward to getting a full bottle!

UlianaM

It smells similar to My way. It's extremely (!) sweet. It's a bubblegum on a flower pillow.
It's says there must be a tuberose.. well...to me it 1000% bubble gum (= raspberry tuberose), and milky jasmine with orange blossom. So basically I can feel all , but the tuberose is far from its classy side.
To me it smell like a 'little princess first fragrance' . Something you can get for your 5-year-old in a chain store. It's not bad, it's just...childish.

I would not wear it myself.
I would not care if people around me wore it unless they overspray.

Dawnya7b

This is definitely a spring/summer scent. It’s fruity, floral and sweet and creamy it’s so gooood! The only thing is I crave it all year every season, but it’s too light to be worn in fall and winter. I may have found a solution. I mixed it with Khamrah by lattafa and oooh my goodness! The newly born juice is bewitching 🤩 the lactonic creamy notes and the tuberose are accentuated and mixed with those creamy gourmand boozy notes 🤤 idk maybe it’s just me but this is my favorite layering combo

nichoa99

I was curious because of the milk note. Smells like raspberry bubblegum. It makes me think of the color pink. It’s not as creamy as I was hoping. Not terrible, but not a love. It is unique and fun though!

Chrisandra

I borrowed some clothes to a friend of mine and when she returned them, they smelled out of this world (she was unable to wash them because of some rhinestone accessories and I told her I will take care of the cleaning).
When I asked her about the scent, she said it was So Scandal.
I knew the original Scandal very well, but was not familiar with this flanker.
Being unable to purchase a full bottle, I searched for dupes and found none.
And tonight I experimented with a combination which comes quite close to So Scandal--layering La Rive Eternal Kiss EDP (an excellent and very inexpensive dupe after the original Scandal) with Tuberose EDT from Monotheme (which is around 10 euro).
Until I will be able to buy a full bottle of SS, that will have to do ;)

reyyangurer

definitely my first date fragrance. youthful and feminine, last soooo long on my hair, i sprayed it on a friday afternoon and could still smell it on my saturday night shower. if i am financially stable enough i'll definitely purchase a bottle.

sakona

Not last long. I do not recommend

Aura_ann

On man! It's gorgeous on a spring day. Sweet milky tuberose, it's so perfect for my skin during spring time, feel like catching all spring flowers in the air with the feeling of sweet sticky delicious dessert all over my fingers tip. (like I just ate some cupcakes stuff with raspberry honey jam) What I mean is...it is a good combo of floral, fruity and goumand. The scent is suit the juicy colour..juicy jam floral. I don't need to dress up but the perfume is yummy enough to get an attention from people around me.💕❤️😍😘😄

isa_priore

Barbarossa

I’m a sucker for a raspberry, white florals and milk. So this one is perfect out of all that tuberose fragrances, it’s not overly sweet unlike linterdit (which I occasionally really enjoy), and it’s not so messy like my way.
It projects well and great overall, the only downside it disappears without any scent left on the skin after about 4 hours. Surprisingly cause usually Jean Paul Gaultier’s fragrances are beasts.

sakona

I love this perfume because this similar smell to My Way. There is leaf tea smell and fresh. I love this smell that much. Anyway, there is not last long compare to other perfum that i use like Jadore..... when I spray to my neck, hand....

angelicaswanson

This smells like a rich brat whose favorite color is pink and has a good style. Girly and modern on a friday night.

Ester Casanova

I wanted this parfum all last year and tested out several times but once I got it I was just in to other kinds of fragrances and this one is currently unused
I will sell it or exchange if’s anyone interested please dm me , it’s an 30ml bottle with the cylinder package (very pretty by the way) only in Berlin. 😉

kittenpawz

Unfortunately I couldn't wear it at all, it's just unbearable. Another scrubber. I let it macerate but now it just smells like old expired makeup - JPG style - which technically could be someone's jam but then raspberry turns sour and salty, literally like salted berries. Yuck. Not the best take on tuberose either, the notes clash with each other and seem poorly mixed. It's definitely much better than L'Interdit since it lacks patchouli but still pretty terrible. The animalic aspect turns it into a body odor-like smell as is the case with L'Interdit, and with how intense the fragrance is, it becomes a disadvantage; an intense animalic perfume is bound to smell like a body odor, come on now. I'm a ~6-10 sprays girl but with this perfume 2 sprays could already be overwhelming, and it's truly eternal - last time I gave it a try those 2 sprays were just as strong 8 whole hours later and it seemed impossible to wash off.
I don't know why companies keep releasing those repulsive animalic scents, what's the appeal of it? Centuries ago perfume was used to disguise bad body odor, now it's used to create an illusion of one? Thanks but no thanks and I can't wait for this ridiculous modern trend to be done for. Once again it's not truly sweet, it's recycled juice made of currently trending notes - tuberose craze and most common white florals, released under Gaultier label this time. Harsh as per usual with inedible raspberry to make it appear different. For this type of scent the choice is between "fruity" but not *actually* sweet cause then people will not buy due to it being "unsophisticated", citrus or patchouli. Fruity takes the cake I guess, everything else will only make an already harsh scent even more acidic, but it's merely the lesser of evils. JPG puts more effort into bottle design than the juice itself. I learned it the hard way and you cannot change my mind. Well, at least 30ml bottle kind of looks like a pretty magic potion?

mabelangel

i love this perfume! it’s sweet without being overpowering, floral, and slightly caramel-y. it kind of reminds me of a more summery scandal le parfum. i wouldn’t use it too generously since it might be a bit cloying on muggy days but otherwise, i think it’s a spring/summer signature! i don’t get that plastic-y smell everyone else does, but it is lacking in lactonic notes for me

Hanan bazaza

Well..when i first smell it i really loved it but after that it’s become a diffrent smell i don’t know something like plastic and a very cheap smell so i will not buy any of the scandal perfumes anyone and none from all the jpg perfumes sorry😔

brightsun2205

Yum. It smells like raspberry ripple ice cream.

PrincessKitana

This was an unexpected love and started for me the love for sweeter perfumes. I enjoy the raspberry tuberose milk combination. Yummy!

So Scandal is indeed similar to Armani's My Way, but has some deeper and sweeter note in the base (liquorice?) that makes it more kind of interesting and seductive than My Way. I also see how this can remind one Prada Paradox, but i wouldn't say they are really similar. So Scandal actually gives me a bit the same vibe as Hot Couture EDToilette by Givenchy, because of that contrast between raspberry and a deeper base note (in Hot Couture its raspberry vs smoky base)

This is very potent perfume, so it suites better for colder weather and I need only a few sprays of it otherwise it can be too much! The longevity is also good - on blotter it stayed for about 4 days, on my skin I feel it the whole day until the next morning.

I have three of the Scandal's collection: OG, By Night and So Scandal. I'd like to have Scandal a Paris, but the price now is shockingly high! So if anyone knows a good cheaper analogue for ''a Paris'', please share!
Scandal Le Parfum is nice too, but i have recently bought DG pour femme which kind of reminds me of Scandal Le Parfum, but without powder note.

Binst145

I love the raspberry opening of this one. The tuberose makes the dry down a bit bubblegummy. It‘s a nice fruity floral perfume but a bit too sweet and cloying in the dry down. Spray with caution, sillage is good longevity is moderate on me.

Im_only_lurking

Yikes! A friend of mine has this and it is so heavy and sweet and reminiscent of little kids' perfumes or a cheap dessert you buy at the convenience store full of artificial flavours and additives. Not sexy imo. Girly and juvenile yes, but just a generic and linear bubble gum tuberose. But if you're a teen/young adult looking for an overly sweet perfume, this is great. Just have some mercy don't wear it at the office.

kittenpawz

A scent from my childhood. Reminds me of the smell of my old Bratz dolls, kids' cosmetics, velour tracksuits, nail polish and bubble gum. Nostalgic but smells very cheap like some kind of nameless EDT you pick up as a 10 year old because you want to feel fancy and you've never tried any real perfumes. This is what a little girl would think a fancy/princessy perfume is. Very 2000s and juvenile. Starts off sharp which is the only kind of "complexity" there is to it. Normally I'm repulsed by this kind of sharp opening but So Scandal has the okayest sharp opening ever. Fades into the kind of nice generic perfumy scent a newly purchased perfume box from a department store would have. I mean exactly the box, not the bottle, while it's still sealed and all. I don't like or dislike it, I nothing it.
Not very sweet either, like someone wanted to make a sweet fragrance but cared too much about not offending anyone with the sweetness. Tuberose is present during all stages. Absolutely uninteresting without being repugnant. I'll keep it for my inner little girl but probably will pass on Gaultier perfumes in the future.

gauchobysteelydan

perfume for if you relate heavily to asuka from
neon genesis evangelion

venus-lexie

so scandal dares to ask the question “what if scandal was an interesting perfume” (it succeeds in its efforts)

scent.2go

This scent is rounded, well blended, not screechy like my way. Beast projection and longevity, very smooth and I dont get bubblegummy vibe. It should be separate scent, not scandal family because is so different from the others scandals

Andy224

It surprised me. While I was expecting a creamy/milky raspberry l got quite a strong and sweet floral tuberouse instead but I still like it.

Erincess

Very sweet period

ipuks3

MichelleOd

this smells like a weaker version of Givenchy L'interdit
so if you like that one you'll love this

Motee

I love this perfume.. compliments every time I wear it. It is sweet but not overbearing. On my 3rd bottle now.

Salalome

I realy like this. But I am someone who dislikes most fruity scents and bubblegum tuberreuse so keep that in minde.

I finished my sample and grabed a partial bottle online cuz I lack a sweet raspery floral in my collection since I am super picky. I diden't like My Way, it had a plasticy and screechy side to it. So Sacandal is smoother, sweet pink instead of sweet green-ish. It dosen't do much on skin, but it stays on cloths for 12 h and while the first 20minutes are beast mode, it gets tamer and more intimit making it quit versitilw for su h a sweet scent.
Its a very good solid choice for what it is.

Yessamin

My sample card states:

A grand floral. So scandal! Is an explosion of white flowers wrapped in a addictive milky note.
A floral feminine signature is born through the collection of three flowers: the elegance of the orange blossom, the sensuality of the jasmine flower and the opulence of tuberose.

WhiteFlowerPrincess

This perfume wasn't bad on me but it wasn't great either. It opened very strongly with that sweet and sour raspberry note and then there were was a very strong tuberose scent. Eventually this just got engulfed by the orange blossom and then after that almost all that I could smell was raspberry. I couldn't smell any of the jasmine or milk notes unfortunately.

It's quite a strong perfume with fairly strong projection and it lasts about 8 hours on my skin. I'd say that teenagers and women in college/university would like this scent most, but I couldn't really imagine most women in their mid to late 20's and older liking or loving this that much or wanting to smell like this in general. There's something slightly juvenile about it, I guess partly due to just how fruity it is.

Because of how sweet and slightly sickly it is, I could only imagine a woman wearing this at night and during either the winter or the spring. It would be much too sickly and sticky sweet on a sunny and hot summer's day!

It reminds me slightly of My Way and L'interdit. My rating? 5 ½/10 for me. Not awful, but very mass-produced and average smelling.

Thranduil

I wish the scent of raspberry liqueur lasted beyond the initial spray. Once So Scandal came in contact with my skin it turned into an overbearing tuberose scent that I could not cease from disliking.

Still, I kept wearing it till I finished my 80 ml bottle just to smell that sweet but fleeting blast of raspberry liqueur.

Definitely the most wearable and approachable Scandal.

Salalome

This is my favorite Scandal. I am not a fan of the honey note in the others. Now fruity and tuberose fragrances are usualy not my thing at all. But I do like rasberry a lot and in this the tubereuse is sweet but not bubblegummy like in tubereuse mysterieux bvlgari. And this tops My Way easely. They are similar but with So scandal you get a rounded finish (milk) where My way is screechy sweet tubereuse with a plasticy greenness that gets on my nervs very quickly.
If I ever see a bottle for a good price I'll grab it. Cuz those legs are super cool too!

AnlisaC

It’s a strong like in my book! It’s not your average fruity floral or they tuberose that everyone is putting out right now. It’s almost a bit sour but NOT in a bad way, it comes from the raspberry that’s right up front. It is a great everyday all year round fragrance. Longevity on me is between 4 to 6hours not super long but perfect for summer. You will get noticed and this leans on the feminine side but anyone can wear this. I love how this dries down I get the laconic note (milk) and it softens the sourness of the raspberry. I will always have this in my collection, it’s a fun fragrance to own nothing to serious but just fun. Highly recommended 10/10 going to buy another bottle!😉

poodleParty

Raspberry candies and jasmine tea. Very pretty and could be worn anywhere. I think this is much more wearable than the original (which I like, but it's NUCLEAR) in an everyday setting.

It lasted 7 hours on my skin.

Yessamin

Very loud tuberose and jasmine from the get go. The opening is so strong it is so scandalous, but give it 3 hours and I can’t barely smell it.
I was reminded of L’interdit, sort of same vibe but different.
Might be suffocating for summer, better suited for cold weather imo.

Thuchien1008

On my friend, it was raspberry cream with jasmine tea, bright orange blossom and yummy milk powder tuberose. But on me, it had an overwhelming tuberose scent, it was still cute but not as soft and fluffy as my friend's. This scent can be used for all ages, but it will be more suitable for cute young girls like rich children. The scent can be used in all seasons except the super hot and humid summer.

whisperology

LOVE!!! It has been a while since I bought a fragrance and immediately thought "oh shit, I need a backup bottle of this immediately." I had a sample, bought a 50ml, and I already want more to ensure this is in my rotation for years to come. :)

This is exactly how I want to smell all Spring and Summer. It is sooo addictive, straight out of the bottle it smells fantastic (even pre-drydown) and has a surprisingly long-lasting creamy fruitiness from start to finish. It's fun and sexy. Nothing sharp about it whatsoever.

It reminds me of youth and a vivid scent memory of this cheapie body spray "Juice Bar, Raspberry Pear" I think was legit marketed towards children at the time. But a grown up version with feminine white florals and lactonic vibes.

After wearing sweet heavy fragrances all winter, I get to still keep the sweet-train going without feeling weighed down by syrupy-ness. This is not cloying to me. It's just perfect. Can't rave enough. If you're a fan of fruity white florals it's a no brainer.

books.art.dogs

I think you'll like this one if you like a bubble gummy tuberose. It's very sweet with great performance- I went to sleep with this on last night, and I could still smell it on my wrist in the morning.

However, my husband, who usually likes every scent I have, told me it was "distractingly bad", which I laughed at. I think to some noses it may smell like "burnt plastic candy", whereas to me it smells like floral, fruity bubble gum!

I don't love it, and since my partner is so repulsed, I may save it for girls' trips or just give it to my sister.

Kelliees

Oof.... I LOVE this perfume. It's hard to explain how grape soda can smell sexy and seductive, but So Scandal is just that. Sex in a bottle

Meredithe

This fragrance came as a surprise to me. Based on the fragrance pyramid and main notes I wouldn't choose it for myself but I needed something stronger for spring/summer. And decided to try this one.

I agree with some that it opens with a synthetic raspberry but I don't mind it, it's still quite nice and gives this clean note at the beginning. The whole fragrance is so nice although it doesn't last long on my skin (maybe 2-2.5 hours). The dry-down though... I sprayed it on my clothes as well. And to my surprise, it was so alluring and sensual. I didn't know what the smell was until I checked the clothes I sprayed the day before. Yes, it was So Scandal.

I think this one is the best from the whole Scandal range. I even wanted to buy Scandal Original but after reformulation, it's quite generic without this (stronger) honey note. I also think it's for a mature woman or formal occasions. This one, on the other hand, is still youthful, but not girly anymore. Sensual and flirty. I really like it.

emilydavi

I really like this, which surprises me. I'm not usually a fan of white floral dominant perfumes, and I hate bubble-gummy tuberose. In this though, the florals are so creamy and almost musky, and even though the tuberose is sweet, it doesn't smell at all like bubblegum to me.

Sanrio

It's a cute fragrance. It opens up reminding me of a bag of gummy worms with a floral afterthought. I do also get a gummy worm feel from the original Scandal, but that is where their similarities end.

As it develops I get more tuberose but not enough to make me prefer this over My Way (which gets a lot of weird unjustified hate. Try it guys, it's pretty nice.)

Longevity isn't great but the sillage is popping

Laurus

It is linear super sweet but without all the honey caramel or vanilla. Thats why I like it. It does not change to that annoying foody vanilla smell in any point. I thought I hate all sweet fragrances but turns out it is just those sticky sweet goumand ingrediences that I dislike. I will purcase a full bottle. EDIT: Changed my mind. I do get that hairspray vibe now thay another reviewer talked about. I am happy that I have taken the time to use my sample daily before going ahead and purchasing the full bottle. Slowly I am getting to the point where I can not wear this anymore. I had enough of this before I finished my sample. My advies. Take time to use your new fragrance crush for few days before purchasing. It will save you money.

stephanienwc

This scent is so addictive to me because I personally love a good combination of tuberose, orange blossom and jasmine. This one got it just right. I wish I had smelled this before I purchased all three of the My Way flankers, because now I can't justify purchasing this as well. This one is almost identical to the original My Way except that it is less screechy than My Way due to the use of a different fruit note that balances out the white florals. Sillage is amazing as with all other JPG fragrances.

cacemonster

Strong and sweet! This is a sillage bomb in my opinion! I need to spray lightly to be able to wear this as it get nauseating to heavy spray. I do get raspberry vibe but not fresh. This is sirupy bubblegum with a sharp sweetness, i dont know how to describe the feeling, but i do feel its a sharp note too. I do get my way comparison, as it have a lot of similarity, although i find this more wearable if sprayed lightly. No wood detectable here, and im glad its not! I dont feel it develop very much, but its strong and last a long time. I dont get milky feel of this at all. Try before buy unless you like my way and are looking for something similar or in the same path, or are 100% sweet tooth :D This is way to heavy to smell up close so I spray lightly and the wiffs i get is for sure fruity juicy mouthwatering nice! Like berry candy! Not even 1% fresh lol. I like this a lot, but I will wear it a little more before i decide if its a love. I feel I need to learn how to spray it to benefit the best way to smell :) i feel this could work at night during summer or day or night during colder seasons. Wearing this in hot humid weather is not suitable in my opinion.

Frangipanilove

This is a really easy fragrance to wear. Its bright and happy, with the raspberry on top of the neroli/tuberose/jasmine/floral heart. There is also a hint of spice (could be a dash of pink pepper) giving it a tiny bit of sharpness it requires to not become flat with all the juiciness from the berry. Its the kind of scent that will work pretty much any time of the year. Not much development or change, sadly, as is typical of todays mainstream perfumery. But this is lovely regardless. It smells different around you rather than directly on the skin - its softer and slightly sweeter surrounding you and a bit sharper on the skin. I love the fun bottle - most pleasing of the Scandals.

ca$hm3re

I don’t like My Way, and Linterdit doesn’t suit me. I asked for this one for Christmas but I was scared. Tuberose is very hit or miss for me but I really loved this one on paper and wanted to love it on My skin.

Was i disappointed? No. Is it a love and a ride or die? No.

It is sweet, girly and pretty, with a greenness that I don’t really see mentioned a lot. The vibe this connotes for me is a woman having a picnic in a field where there is lots of flowers surrounding her, and the ground is a little wet so there’s just a touch of greenness. She herself is wearing a bubblegum perfume, and all these fragrances are mixing together to create this.

I do definitely like this one, but there’s something off about it that I can’t put my finger on. I suppose it’s just not as ‘me’ as I hoped it would be. There’s nothing wrong with the fragrance itself, I think it would make a great signature. But I think there’s others that I love a lot more.

Youlerie

Strong raspberry with bubble gum and synthetics. Reminds me of Montale's "Mukhallat" in the top note. Sillage very strong. Definitely choose a pink outfit to match this fragrance!

tanoshi333

I love this scent on me. It lasts really long, and doesn't come off of clothes even after washing. I love how the fruity sweet notes like raspberry and milk are combined with deep and complex florals such as orange blossom. Overall I like this way more than the original, and I find that it's a very underrated scent.

Lorilor

The creamy raspberry in this one is simply divine. Definitely less sweet than the original so no idea what some people are talking about.

SaraZigova

Very sweet tuberose

PuppyFever

This has a strong tuberose note similar to the recent releases in its genre, but it is done uniquely. The raspberry note introduces itself first, but as it dries down the milkiness makes its way through to soften up the florals. The blend is seamless and the scent merges all the notes together. It's slightly similar to My Way's fruity tuberose scent profile, only not as fresh, instead, it is dense like L'interdit, only more youthful.

mamoudaki

I freaking love when perfumes confuse me. At first when I smelled it I had NO IDEA what it smelled like,,, but I freaking love it. Literally can't put into words what this smells like. It such a 'I wish I knew where this amazing smell is coming from' moment if u know what I mean. PURR-FECTION! the notes listed still don't make sense to me, but this makes me love it even more!! I'm just gonna say it's magic then! Freaking love this💅♀️🍭

strawberrystar

I really do not like this. I have had a sample for a long time and I still give it a try from time to time but it's always the same. This smells like straight up Windex on my skin. I am pretty disappointed as the notes seem lovely and I really like the two first fragrances this perfume is compared to, Giorgio Armani My Way and Givenchy L'Interdit. I do get some faint raspberry in the background, but the Windex smell is so overwhelming.

scent.2go

I love it! Great fragrance for all year around. I get a lot of tuberose (I love tuberose!), Some jasmin, no rasberry and no milky notes so honestly only white flowers, but for someone who loves white flowers thats enough. Its very long lasting and bottle is beautiful.

tiger_eyes_

This is lovely and delicious. My favorite from the Scandal line.

miss_aly

I recently went on a cruise and wanted to buy a new perfume as a souvenir. After testing and smelling multiple perfumes, I came across this one. I have Scandal by Night (a fave of mine) but have never looked into this flanker. I sniffed it blindly and immediately said "mmm!". I had my husband smell it on my wrist, and he said "oh definitely get that one!". So of course I bought it! (It's VERY different from Scandal by Night btw.) I never knew I liked tuberose until I smelled My Way by Armani. I definitely smell a similar bubblegummy tuberose in So Scandal!. But it's still different! The milky sugary raspberry gives it a fun/flirty twist. Longevity and projection is just moderate, so you'd need to re-apply halfway through the day.

Siv7Stars

A slightly wobbly beginning, threatens to feel synthetic, but then it levels out into sweet fruity floral, mainly tuberose, milky drydown. I love it, will probly wear it a lot. It really really reminds me of something, but nothing left here in the 'reminds me of' section.. Idk what L'Interdit is even doing there?? Nor the My Way nor the Prada. Perfume is like music. The best pop songs are those which feel familiar already.. This one is a great pop song, simple, catchy, cheerful fun!

Yamie

I hated this at first due to that initial strong synthetic smell as Emstein97 but grew to love it due to the sweet and beautiful drydown. The jasmine is very strong but bearable once it has settled. Still not the kind you overspray, too much can cause a headache.

erika.isme.98

This is nice! I expected better performance but the grape soda smell mixed with jasmine is lovely :)

Update: I'm feral over this and how it smells on my skin. Addictive!

Emstein97

I had such high hopes for So Scandal, I really did, but I just can’t get past the fact that this smells like a spicy synthetic grape. It’s not a terrible smell but it’s certainly not what I was hoping it would smell like.

FragaliciousScents

I love this perfume! This is for those special occassions like date night.I see someone wearing a dress or going out to have fun, not for serious events. It's very strong, 3 spray is already too much if youre in a closed environment. It can get too annoying if you spray it everyday. It doesn't smell mature but definitely for someone over 18+. I think the raspberry and milk in this is a match made in heaven. This is my favourite out of all the other flankers of Scandal. If you love sweet, fruity and lactonic scent this is for you! It's a beautiful and elegant scent, super high quality and smells different from the rest of designer fragrances. Only complain is the smell of the dry down, it smells synthetic but that's after 8+ hours of sitting on ur skin/clothes. I recommend this!

cookievanilla

for some reason it smells very earthy and planty on me, it gives off a very masculine perfume on my skin, I do note the sweetness and raspberry on the first 15 min but then it disappears to leave a mossy-earthy flowery strange fragrance that I kind of hate to be honest. I'm not wearing it again I think... I really wanted to like this one..

One hour in, I'm now getting a strange fake plastic smell as well.. making me nauseous.. I'm going to have to wash it off, hard pass.

addangel

This smells exactly like Armani My way, but extra sweet with a cherry on top (well.. raspberry). It's warm and fruity, but way too sweet for my taste, so I'll just stick with My way.

2024 update: I found this on sale and decided to get a bottle (love the bottle
design but the honey note made me avoid previous versions). It’s definitely a lot more potent than My way, even 1 spray goes a long way. But at the same time, I find My way a little more complex and refined, while this one is straight up “sweet tuberose”. All in all, as a tuberose lover, I’m happy to own both.

Pinkfloyde:)

White floral? This smells like a raspberry coated in honey. The most floral I smell in here is orange blossom- and even so, it’s not very prominent.
Probably a safe blind buy if you like something sweet & more feminine leaning. Quite pleasant.:)

vietnamese_love_perfume

This is sickening and nauseated. Give me head-ached

laurenskordas

I recently bought this as a sample, with other samples that I recently purchased. I tried it out and quite liked it. I currently do not love it, but it is a nice sweet scent. I like it, it just did not wow me enough to love it. The floral scents are subtle, which is nice because when a floral scent is too overbearing it can cause me to have a headache. It is quite sweet, but it is not the sweet that jumps out at you as sickening, or like a sugary candy. It smells more like the sweetness that comes from a sweet, or ripe fruit.

I might update this review later, since I have only tried the sample once.

wondervalley666

It’s ok. This perfume is great for someone looking for an expensive smelling simple raspberry scent, but it just doesn’t have much going on. I love tuberose and own several scents, including scandal by night. I smell tuberose in by night, faintly but it’s always there. I don’t smell it in this flanker at all, unless I press my nose to skin and search for it. Mostly this scent reads as straight raspberry. I only get the slightest bit of florals in the dry down. This scent opens big and loud, intense raspberry, with a splash of milk, but it dries down rapidly to a skin scent and I rarely get any trace of it after 3 hrs. It doesn’t last half as long as scandal or by night. I purchased a brand new fresh authentic bottle, so I don’t know why I’m not getting what some others are… Overall I find the scent a bit boring. I’m not usually into simple fruity scents and often prefer scents with a few more notes to keep it interesting. I love scandal by night and consider it a top 10 fav, I love Classique and several flankers, and love La Belle Le Parfum Intense, but So Scandal doesn’t come off as unique as those. I can see a lot of teen girls and 20 somethings enjoying this. It’s perfect for people who hate musk, patchouli, woods, or heavy flowers. Young and fruity gourmand, almost actually to the point of being edible. I probably won’t be repurchasing once I finish my bottle.

On a side note, my husband smokes and says when I wear this around him when he’s smoking, it makes him think of swisher sweets/fruity cigarellos. So if you smoke and like the idea, this would probably work well in hookah and 420 situations as well.

Niroma💕

Love it.

bella99bella

To say that I LOVE this perfume is an understatement!

I was wandering around taxfree smelling different perfumes to pass the time when I just happened to try this one on. It immediately blew me away! I’ve never tried anything like it, it’s very sweet but in a fresh way. Smells almost like raspberry soda to me. A very distinct smell that stands out. As I was trying to save some money I chose to not buy it then and there (which was super hard) but I could not stop thinking about it and several days later after being tormented by this perfume (in a good way) I finally caved and bought it. Best decision I ever made. It’s also super long lasting. My clothes still smell of this perfume two days after spraying it on only ONCE.

Both my sister and my mom love this one and we rarely agree on scents as we have different tastes. But this one was a winner for all.

I do not own the other Scandal perfumes so unfortunately I cannot compare it to those, but if you love sweet, fruity, raspberry scents then I definitely recommend you get this one! You won’t regret it!

jil489

I wanted to like Scandal but it was too sweet and gave me headaches. I find this a tamer version that echoes the original DNA. This is similar to L'Interdit with a strong tuberose note.

irlfireprincess

This is kind of an odd fragrance. I’m getting raspberry - but it’s a little synthetic smelling. I’m getting orange blossom, which is coming across sweet and candy-ish. I’m getting a transparent creamy milky background. And the white florals are coming across as very perfume-y. The combination is at once innocent and young, and vintage. It’s sour but milky but candy-sweet. It’s sharp. I don’t know what this fragrance is. But I do know there’s nothing “scandalous” about it. It’s my first JPG and I’d try more from this line but I would not buy this one.

Madyana

Tuberosa is certainly one of the dominant, most used and most recognizable fragrance notes found in the perfume and perfume industry right after citrus and rose. So it's no wonder if some toilet cleaner smells like tuberose (as someone below said). I love strong, feminine, fleshy, very creamy tuberose scents, this is not the case. This is the sweet, shattering, youthful tuberose of caramel. One that my daughter and her friends like to spray, one that I only wear on hot summer days when my mind is light and carefree. Lovely is perhaps the word by which I would describe this beautiful.

Helena Voltaire

On separate occasions, I have had 2 girls come up to me to ask me what I was wearing cause they went completely crazy over this. It was one of the few times when people actually went out of their way to ask me, without the usual “oh you smell nice, what is that?” No. These girls were like mesmerized and kept smelling on my neck while their eyes where rolling into their head. I mean, one of them was also shamelessly hitting on me, but I can’t say that I was complaining.

Anyway, yes this is super nice, very sweet, long lasting, I would say it is definitely a going out scent. I only have a decant of 15ml of this, but will eventually get a big bottle, even tho I have the 80ml ByNight version of Scandal.

Update: recently bought a 50ml bottle, I just love it :) 10/10 compliment getter

kobylnice

Very fruity and tuberose opening with hint of milk note. The milk note doesn't last for too long. I am not usually keen on fruity fragrances as I find them 'clogging sweet' but this one while is really strong it's still quite pleasant on the 'fruity' side. Well blended and not a synthetic scent. The tuberose is definitely the main and strongest note during the dry down. Lovely perfume, with very strong sillage and longevity. I won't be buying this however, as it reminds me very much of Givenchy L'Interdit, which I have already and there's no point to keep two very similar perfumes.

Ash212

Since I started my perfume addiction at aged 10 - I've wanted to be more sophisticated than I was. The best fragrances are for women and arguably, I'm probably still not a woman in my 20s! I started with clean scents around 2018 - away from the dark thick perfumes and I realised they made me happy and felt my age. I love love is a favourite from that time. I tried many perfumes and this stuck out - I love that tarty raspberry and also the jasmine in this. I smell it throughout the day on 2 sprays and I can tell other people smell it too. I've yet received compliments but thats ok. Its sweet but not coying. It's a slightly older girl... and maybe thats what I still am :)

PlanetGrl

Quite strong, in a good way. I think it’s for a person equally as strong and unapologetically confident. Very alluring scent, it really does draw you to it. Longevity and sillage are big, would be outright overwhelming if over-sprayed. The raspberry at the top makes me think of some kind of adults-only candy (that’s a thing, right?), and the white flowers in this are a bit dirty, and I’m not referring to potting soil. “Dirty” like you’ve been on the dance floor all night in a hip club. So very good though, and nothing like anything in my collection. Not something I’d buy either, but I absolutely love it. A little milk in it to tame this baddie enough for it to be worn in public. Definitively for date night though probably not the first date, but that depends, I suppose. If someone wore to this office though, I’d quietly assume it was because they didn’t make it home the night before.

Sully92

Totally editing my review. I must have gone completely noseblind to this on my first two wears because I couldn't smell it at all after 2 hours, now it is lasting the whole day.
Absolutely beautiful raspberry candy/bubblegum scent. I don't really get the milk note but I love it none the less.
It's my favourite from the scandal line!

Sodastream83

I tried this on so many times in the store wanting to like it. But it smelled too generic and like fabric softener, not lactonic and creamy like I wanted it too. I don't know what happened though, because a week ago I tried this again at duty free and I was hooked and had to buy it. And now I'm obsessed! Now all I want to do is to smell like this very sexy raspberry fabric softener :D
Great layering combinations I've found for this is Viktor & Rolf "Ruby orchid" (which in my mind smell more of raspberry than peach) or "Whipped vanilla chiffon" from B&BW. They both add that more milky quality that I found missing in So Scandal.

SweetSillage98

I wore this and one time when my father smelled it for the first time when we were in the living room he told me I smelled like a wh*re/prostitute, I couldn't stop laughing...so yeah if u want to smell like a seductive lady that's "in heat" then you should definitely try this. This perfume is good for date nights, signature scent worthy. 9.5/10

cduchene

Very sweet blast of raspberry gummy lollies. Beast of a perfume, one spritz goes a long way. Great for a night out or a date but too cloying for indoors. I spritz in my apartment to sweeten the atmosphere sometimes. I don't get any milk, just raspberry lollies and tuberose, but I must admit I've used my first full bottle and bought another. Something so powerful sexy and sweet about this, transforms my mood with one spray, but very sweet so definitely don't blind buy!

pkng7x

This is a memorable fragrance to me because it's my ever first Eau de Parfum ever. As I explore the fragrance world, I was looking for a scent that matches my personality, something that is not demure, not soft but daring and bold then the seller at the mall introduced this to me and I was blown away, it's very feminine, sexy, playful, bold, irresistible and ravishing kind of scent. It's a good fragrance on a night out or a date night. It's a white floral with fruity take then I realized it smelled raspberry with lots of jasmine and tuberose, I really love white florals and this one was just a perfect combination.

rednose

I've smelled all the editions in their bottles and could only stomach this one enough to spray it. Not a start to finish like. But there's something here. Midphase, it smells like a hospital/nurse. It has that rubbery leather thang going on in Dzing but only a tease, to modernize its tresor like qualities. not full blown fetishy leather/rubber, just enough to make you think of a perfumed nurse in a pair of freshly worn rubber gloves. It's not entirely for me but it's more than OK.
--
The next day drydown of this - OK, now I get why it's a hit. Smells tart berry with neroli or something that takes the edge off. If you like cherry fragrances, you'll really like this provided you spray your clothes with it the night before.

GhostFleur

I just recently purchased So Scandal! directly from the luxury goods distributor in my country and it seems that the 2022-02-11 batch is now housed in a velvety raspberry red box instead of the tin. Just a heads up for those who plan on purchasing this perfume.

ViciousDelicious

This one is by far my favourite from the Scandal line. I have the original Scandal and Scandal By Night and I regret those two so, so, so, much, especially because I blind bought the largest bottles and that was definitely a mistake. The honey is just overwhelming in both Scandal and Scandal By Night. I'll wear them, they're not bad fragrances, but I have to be in a very specific mood for those, whereas So Scandal! is a lot more versatile and I reach out to it much more often than the other two.

Yes, this also means it's a little more generic, in a way, but I personally don't mind that. I certainly prefer this over the other Scandals. It's also a lot younger aromatically speaking which I love. I only wish I bought this one first because most likely I wouldn't have tried the other two Scandals if I had and I would've saved a lot of money :(

cwavah

i get alot of tuberose in this as usual ..... tubersose is always dorminant with any blend .... OK frag in general

lavieparfum_44928

Ohhhh no. No no no no no, not for me. Doesn’t smell bad per say but just too milky, fresh tuberoses are where it’s at in my opinion.

dearfawn

If Scandal was a laundry detergent scent, exhibit A: So Scandal. I do like the fragrance but was really frustrated to discover that it becomes a skin scent after 2 hours. I really have to press my nose against my skin. Perfumes last a long time on my skin and I have a keen sense of smell, so I don’t think it’s in my head how poor the projection and longevity is (testing indoors, temperature and humidity controlled). For how expensive JPG perfumes are, this is unacceptable. I will update if I get improved performance in other conditions.

allthatis_barelythere

The opening is super sweet and fruity in a raspberry candy-like way. It quickly morphs into quite a generic fruity floral. The florals don’t remind me of any note in particular, it’s all very blended. I can pick up a note that I don’t really like though - I thought jasmine, but now that I know there’s tuberose in there as well, it could be either. I asked my partner what he thought and he said it is too generic for him to have an opinion on it... I definitely prefer the original Scandal.

likesleet

i loved this in the store and bought it because i have a hard time finding fruity/floral scents that i liked. i got a bright raspberry scent akin to angel nova. when i bought it, it was just sickeningly white floral and uninteresting. the drydown was better i guess as more of the raspberry came out, but i still didn’t like it and regretted buying.

lasted forever on paper, but 4 hours on skin.

Gioia's secret

I love design of this bottle, and I probably would have bought it if I wasn’t having My Way. It smells very similar to MW right after spraying it but its dry down reminds more L’interdit. I think I will stick with My Way, as it sparks dreamy vibes in me.

soumayaela

Raspberry booooomb
Very sweet and floral
Prominant orange blossom and tuberose
My easiest reach for summer, i don't like the citrussy perfumes or orangy perfumes, so scandal is perfect for me for summer
Beast mode
Great quality like all JPG perfumes, you get what you pay for

Soknim

Opening strong sweet tuberose, try down so light and delicious raspberry milk candy but too strong on the first spray if u spray quit a lot u will get annoyed and headaches. I thing the tuberose doesn't done really well on this perfume. I will love this perfume more if the tuberose is tone down or without tuberose rose it's such a delicious edible scent 😋
5-6h on my skin 7-9h on clothes not bad

BigBobRoss

Milky Raspberry oh did I mention Raspberry?

Raspberry dominant

Pleasant feminine smell from a males perspective, just don't over do the sprays.

Beast mode longevity and sillage

Tinabill

Sweet creamy tuberose.
SS starts with a transient fruity freshness and then, a very sweet and creamy tuberose quickly shows up (but not as sticky sweet as it’s older sisters). The milk here is more of the condensed sweetened one from a can.
SS performs very well.
I’ve always found tuberose beautifully intoxicating but a few years ago it was regarded as outdated, so I’m thankful the market now reintroduced it even if it is doused in sugar.. 😂

gouttesderosee_70

At the first spray it gets lost in gardens of flowers, then approaches the fruits and with a whiff of jasmine, and its end begins with the beginning of the night in a very exciting way on lace lingerie

Aland2020

I guess I went into testing this fragrance with the wrong impression that this would be a very similar flanker to the original Scandal (which I love). I saw the notes list when it was first released, saw the milk note and had visions of milk & honey, combined with those rich white florals and a delicious raspberry top? Sign me up. Well, it’s got one thing, the raspberry note, but no milk or creaminess, and not much else in the way of the original Scandal. The honey note is removed entirely which means it loses much of its deliciousness. This might be a good thing for those who thought the original was way too sweet. And the florals in this are somehow more nondescript. With OG Scandal I get an undeniable lush tuberose, slightly heady but in no way indolic, which is just how I like my white florals. I get a little annoyed when a fragrance lists 2-3 white florals and then you somehow smell none of those in the composition, rather a muddled mess. This is one of those. Luckily, they somehow also managed to sidestep having a true orange blossom fragrance as well- that one goes nuclear on me too often, and is notorious for overtaking an entire fragrance from top to bottom on my skin. Here, I get nothing. So that’s a plus, I think?

Unfortunately there’s not much else going for it to me. I have other raspberry fragrances I admire more, this one, while not synthetic or cough syrup smelling, isn’t very juicy or invigorating either. It’s just meh all around. If you loved the original Scandal, don’t blind buy this thinking it will be a slight change on the original formula. It’s a totally different composition entirely, devoid of all oomph that the OG had and seems to be more of a soulless mass-market attempt. Like Katy Perry once she died her hair blonde, I miss the Fireworks.

fgamz

I went in with every intention of loving this, but I hate it. I personally can't see myself wearing this at all. I expected something maybe darker, richer than original Scandal, but this is more fruitier and powdery than I expected. I do get the similarity to L'Interdit, I smell a smidge of it within it, which is probably why I don't like it, as it has the same powder vibe too it that I hated in L'Interdit.

This disappears so quick. I know. Juxtaposes the below review. But it’s the furthest thing from beast mode. To me beast mode is Jasmine wisp for example, or br540. This lasts shorter than my sol de jeneiro body mist…

However, the smell is really nice, and somehow when you spray just enough, it’s got r this banana candy vibe.. it’s interesting. Smooth, slightly milky, sweet. It’s a very youthful scent. I hate all other scandals. This one is a 6/10. Could be an 8 if the longevity wasn’t so poor

soyfate

If you like sweet, then you'll love this. It's all creamy, fruity and floral at the same time which I absolutely love! It gives this joyful vibe that makes you smile every time you smell it!

I don't like the term beast mode, but trust me this is IT. It projects so well and lasts all day. I was wearing it the other day and someone complimented the smell as they walked into the room.

Smell: 10/10
Value: 10/10 (some niche perfumes don't last as long as this.)
Sillage: 10/10 (Just like every other JP perfume)
Longevity: 9/10
Compliments getter: totally! Every time I'd wear it!
Would I repurchase it? Yup! About to finish my second and get the third.

Stoicchild

To me this is generic. No offense to anyone who like this, everyone has a different nose but to me this is a waste of money. This does not stand out from the rest of the crowd. It's one of those generic floral scents that'll easily blend in the crowd. There is nothing to hate but it's just not worth the price. It's a good perfume for high school girls or minors who want to begin using perfumes. You know the ones who want to change from using deodorant to perfumes, it's good for those young girls. It's very basic.

toeveh

I usually love sweet fruity scents but this wasn’t a hit. Tried it out in the store and it smells a lot like bubblegum blended together with heavy sweetness. At first spritz I thought it smelled straight up like honey, but then the tuberose and bubblegum smell appears. I’d say it’s a cocktail of syrup, honey, bubblegum and raspberries - something that sounds up my alley but it ended up being nauseating.

Slickchick81

Strong, sweet you will be noticed. I like this a lot more than Scandal. It is not as sweet, a bit more floral and I can get the tuberose which is one of my favourite florals. La Belle Le Perfume is my favourite ever from JPG

ladyjb

Smells like a slightly fresher, fruitier, but just as nauseating version of Donna Born in Roma

symphony5mvmt3

I only need one spray of this for the whole day. Currently saving up for a full bottle because idk what I'm going to do when my 1ml free sample runs out. I love this fragrance so much. It's the perfect cocktail of white florals. Tbh, I don't get "scandalous" as much as I get "pretty". Like, I'm not going to wear this with just a tuxedo and bare legs, I'm going to wear this with that one decaying rose dress from Alexander McQueen's Sarabande collection.

DonDonna

I wanted to love Scandal (the original) for years but it was just not "it" for me, something was always missing. Then I found this gem. It's sweet but not overwhelming, for me it's not bubble gummy, it has a strong "body" so this perfume screams confidence, sexy, and unique.
I think it's a great signature scent, and I like it more and more every time I wear it. The packaging is beautiful it looks gorgeous on my vanity.

eva.daisy.88

This is one of the sweetest perfumes I’ve tried so far. raspberry together with tuberose is just too much for my nose. It lasts quite a few hours, but it’s just a very linear sweet madness.
The sweet raspberry reminds me a lot of Daisy Love Eau So Sweet from Marc Jacobs.

dearaari

The initial spray reminds me a lot of Meliora from Parfums de Marly but the drydown is much sweeter like a soda. It’s a tutti frutti scent but rather nondescript.. if you like Meliora this is in the same vein. I just don’t feel compelled to buy myself a bottle

cherrytarte

It's the dominant white floral note that makes this smell like fabric softener to me, and I personally don't like that smell in my perfume so I'm glad I got a tester bottle for this one. I much prefer 1. Scandal By Night, then 2. the original Scandal, then 3. So Scandal in last place.

carolinaolguinp

Synthetic raspberry and tuberose. Smells like laundry detergent or fabric softener, very chemical.

Lottieetbelle

I quite like this. I thought it was meh initially and now I find myself craving it? Haha…

It’s got this, dare I say, skanky? note I recognise from other JPG I’ve tried, maybe the jasmine does this? I don’t even mean that negatively, it’s quite sexy in a way. But it’s paired with juicy raspberries, and I nice intermingled sweet tuberose and orange blossom. I feel this is fun.

Sreza7

First, i smell raspberry and tuberose. I don’t smell a milk note. Then the animalic jasmine appears and that’s all i smell. I can smell the difference in quality when comparing to My Way. This is not screechy like My Way and definitely not as fresh. I get the same dirty jasmine that’s in Classique Essence de Parfum which i own. This is syrupy sweet and intensely white floral, my kinda juice!
Update: so I noticed I get raspberry, then white florals and when it’s fading that’s when the raspberry comes out again after about an hour or so.

Aggey

A sweet scent perfect for spring! It stays on the skin for several hours, so I put it on my clothes

TessaDiPietro

Beautiful, sweet and very floral (but not like the Gucci stuff). Discovered it when I was trying the classic Scandal. I was surprised that this gentle floral-fruity fragrance comes from the Scandal family. Perfect for spring and summer. Sillage is fine, longevity is not the best but is also not bad - can smell it from my clothes the next day.

amina04

Very sweet, girly and bubblegummy. The type of scent that may give you a headache. I prefer it to the honey bomb that is the original Scandal though, that one is a straight up syrupy mess. This one is more fruity. I like it but I'm a little afraid to purchase it tbh, seems like the type of scent that would become annoying fast. it did last ages on my skin and hair when I tested it though and I got whiffs of it throughout the rest of the night

Artio

This fragrance is an incredibly sweet tuberose scent on my skin which I really like, the only downside was the immediate headache I got upon spraying it on my skin.

fingertips00

This immediately reminded me of My Way which I hate... but I must admit that it's pretty good. If I hadn't smelled My Way before I think I would like this but since I have I can't stand it. Very strong white flowers so if you don't like white flowers especially tuberose you won't like this

Chellywellie

A much more wearable Scandal than the original. The honey has been been taken out (thank goodness), and instead it’s predominantly tuberose sweetened by the raspberry. I am not a fan of tuberose whatsoever but it’s bearable in this, it smells younger than normal tuberose notes. But overall it’s just ok.

Jessicawallace98

I purchased this perfume today because it was apart of a Black Friday deal. No regrets, it’s stunning!!

sara777

She is loud and fun until she just becomes annoying. Reminds me of an out of pocket teenager who is fun at first but then gives you a headache. Sweet, synthetic and somewhat milky. Fun for a girls night out, but not something I find myself reaching for.

Emer0de

The best of the so scandal line, in fact so different from the two main ones (original and by night) it should have been called something else outside of the scandal line.

raiza1990

Very sweet and a bit synthetic. It has a soft bubblegum vibe. From all the flankers, it is the most similar to the original, but it is not my favorite, it feels redundant. It is not bad, but i was expecting more.

mevans

Exactly the sticky sweet kind of floral I love! This is decadent and sexy, still sophisticated, just spectacular. I mean, JPG does this genre so well though. Sure, wear it for yourself but I can see this being just the ticket if you want to attract attention.

amanda118

So Scandal is the definition of a syrupy sweet perfume, but I love and appreciate it. I often feel sick wearing super sweet perfumes around all day but I would allow this because I like it so much. It smells like candied tuberose with a lactonic touch. This made me feel so sexy and smells like something a burlesque dancer would wear. I do love me a sexy perfume so its up my ally.

Chaylovesperfume

Stunning fragrance! Lasts forever on my skin and clothes and leaves the most beautiful scent trail. I mostly smell the raspberry and tuberose. After about an hour the milk note makes an appearance and the scent turns into the most delicious creamy raspberry similar to a raspberry creme saver.

I agree with others when they say the opening smells similar to pure xs infact on my skin for the first 5 minutes it smelled identical to pure xs. Love this fragrance it’s a very sweet and thick scent you only need to apply it twice otherwise you’ll knock yourself out!

SilhouetteX

JPG is famous for creating long lasting perfumes, and does it again with the So Scandal line. This perfume literally makes my mouth water every time I smell my wrist. It's so sweet in a delicious fruity-and-tuberose way. Most delicious raspberry perfume I've come across. Not for everyday wear, it's too loud and attention grabbing in my opinion for office wear.

DPrince01

A raspberry hard boiled sweet/candy on opening and fresh white florals, tuberose being the most prominent, accompany it at the dry down. I don’t consider this lactonic, however. The milk note seems to be very much in the background. Longevity is quite good and sillage is moderate.

This is my favourite from the Scandal line because it is the only one that doesn’t have a honey note in it, and I am generally not fond of the smell of honey in perfumes, as I wasn’t with the original Scandal.

People are correct in saying that this is a linear scent, but that to me is not a problem. It is not complex but still far more interesting to me than majority of other perfumes on the market in recent times. Another hit from Jean Paul Gaultier.

dovey

Compared to the original & a paris , this one is the deepest , the sweetness is more crunchy🍭 (if that makes scene)

kindda like their "intense" version

Another sweet candy sugar explosive perfume🍭🍭 ( I love sweet scents )
Agree with other reviews it does have pear notes🍐 & I am sure there is honey notes as well🍯

FirstSense

V&R made there flowerbomb, JPG made his fruit bomb. But what a delicious one! There is not only raspberry, there is also a wonderful pear and orange. Together with the flowers and the creamy note this is a delightful treat. Not to sweat and heavenly strong. And it lasts and lasts. The eau de parfum melted perfectly with my girlfriends skin (and my nose). Instant love this one from JPG.

Soccergreat88

A gorgeous strong, sweet Raspberry perfume. Super sweet and extremely strong. Projects like a beast with only 1 spray and lasts for daysss. I would highly reccomned if you like sweet scents and powerful beast modes. Literally max 2 sprays or you WILL BE CHOCKING

Chyprie

One spray is enough for the day. It smells like jasmine for the first few hours, after that it's a gentle calm load of sweetness. I've got so many compliments wearing this. My favorite perfume so far. I love it.

BlueOcean19

Bold and sexy yet sophisticated. I blind bought it and absolutely love it, but it's not for everyone. Raspberry & tuberose explosion + hint of milk is what I detect. Very strong, one spray fills a room, lasts forever on clothes. Definitely a night time fragrance.

mostlyharmless

I’m on the fence with this one. It’s a gorgeous fragrance, but a little too sweet for me, almost cough syrup-y (and I happen to love sweet fragrances). It’s a raspberry and orange blossom explosion on the first spray, and on me it stays more or less linear - the dry down is near-identical to the top note, I don’t really get anything else. Someone here said it’s a night club sort of fragrance, and I couldn’t agree more. It’s exactly that - think Paris Hilton of the early 2000s. It has a young girl vibe to it, not very mature, IMO. This is the only one from the Scandal range that I own, and I’m curious to try the other ones as well. The longevity and sillage are superb, and I’ll be wearing it often mostly for that.

kiraj717

This is so yummy and sweet yet sophisticated. The burst of raspberryand the orange blossom is everything. I need a back up bottle asap.

lifnisanders

Picked this over Scandal cause its stronger and honestly yes, i dont think its for the faint hearted honestly. I smelled more of a fruity scent and def catches attention. Last really long, a night out at the club type of wear. Love to layer this with same top notes perfume that are softer just to dilute it. I wanted to let it go but the packaging is just so beautiful my eyes needs it to stay on my vanity.

InfiniteStarla

Wow, what a surprising love for me! Had a sample and sprayed with no expectations. Love at first sniff - bright, bubblegum tuberose with a juicy, vibrant orange blossom. I must say I don't detect much else really - I don't really get the raspberry per se, but the scent is definitely fruity feeling due to how round and syrupy thick (without being too sweet) it is. This definitely stands separate from the rest of the Scandal line as there is nothing that links this one with the rest in an olfactory way. The sillage and longevity are stellar - I get 8-10 hours on skin, and on clothing, this will stay for a week with no problems. I don't like the legs bottle but bought it despite that as this scent is so yummy and versatile for me.

elenaalexbg

From the Scandal line this is my favorite. It is sweet, but not too much, fresh, kind of soupy, kind of bubblegummy. I find the rest Scandal perfumes too heavy, this one is light, day/night/all season fragrance when you want to feel fresh. It makes me smile every time when I wear it. It is easy to dress and suitable for closed areas - it is guaranteed it wont bring headache to anybody nearby.

karenli19

Tuberose overdose. The raspberry and jasmine take a backseat, tuberose really is the star of the show. Smells a bit like an expensive fabric softener. There is a slightly creamy and powdery accord which I'm assuming is the milk note. Sweet and fun, but go very easy on the sprays as it is very strong and can easily become too much. I find that one spray is more than enough for me. As a twenty-year-old I think the heavy tuberose makes it a bit more mature than I'd expected, but still very wearable for someone my age or even slightly younger. Reminds me more of My Way than L'interdit.

sassa7

I agree with Mr Abbas. No connection to L'Interdit which I had and returned because it was too heavy on the patchouli and too masculine on me. I love tuberose and didnt see the good side of it in the L'Interdit - but I did love it in Flash Jimmy Choo and Flash London club, these are heavy tuberose representatives and theyre my favorite tuberose bombs.

What prompted me to buy this is I got one of these $3.33 Mirage brand perfumes by rainbowshops the G Sexy in Red, inspired by So Scandal, the legs up cap and all, lovely low quality copy lol and it smells like fabric detergent, but on the skin it becomes quite a lovely cool toned heavy floral, very unusual. They did a pretty good job, both have the same vibe. This original So Scandal is definitely along those lines, a very calming, fabric softener kind of scent, very dreamy, yes a sister to Yes I am by Cacharel, but less sweet, not as loud and fruity, nothing tart here but just white floral and milky, kinda waxy from the orange blossom. I love this waxy milky effect here. Yes I Am is more on the candy sweet side with something abit tart almost like cherry to my nose. Yes I Am is my sexy date-night perfume, and the milk/jasmine/orange blossom act the same way in both.
So Scandal also reminded me of Love Me by Victoria's secret, same league, and then I sense some of that Pure XS Paco Rabanne style orange blossom. The orange blossom is always abit spicy with the exception of Candy Kiss smoothed out by the musk and vanilla there, but here it is like the orange blossom in the Armani Code line esp the Turquoise Code.
There is something almost oriental on my skin at the drydown, its the tuberose with the jasmine I believe. These white flowers in real life smell so heavy and intoxicating at night time especially in the Mediterranean where I grew up; smelling jasmine and "night white flower" (νυχτολούλουδο) in Greece is SO heavy and may even induce a sweet headache haha, but at the same time they call you like a siren. I get that effect from So Scandal, but nothing overbearing here, totally up my alley.

Scented Heaven

So Scandal! opens soapy fruity sometimes bubblegummy like a kids shampoo, then it becomes more floral, even a little bit powdery from the tuberose which is not to overpowering. It's milky but not really creamy and intense white floral.
Although it’s sweet and intense and appropriated for evening and datenight, So Scandal! is not a deep and beastmode heavyhitter in my opinion. This fragrance is lovely and girlie-sweet, not to cloying and somehow undertoned sexy. Pleasent and likeable designer perfume for fruity white floral lovers.

LuckyMommy

This to me is a lactonic raspberry bubblegum candy, a very sugary one.
Tuberose heavy for sure, so if you like sweetness, tuberose and raspberry this one is for you.
I like it but think i will have to wait for colder weather to try it out some more, it gets a bit too sweet in the heat.

MrAbbas

I see no connection with l'interdit and it strays away from other scandal flankers. It is an ok smelling perfume on its own, something in it is captivating to the nose in the beginning, but they it goes floral and flat. It is nothing over the top in my books. It somehow can be versatile and sexy on a woman who is well put together. Not a performance beast as the rest of the line, it is just ok. This is surely not "So Scandal", it is merely a gossip hehe.

Kuty22

OMG words can't describe how glad I am for loving this.
Another blind buy, I love My Way, I've tried L'Interdit so based on the notes I took my chances.
To me it's way fruitier than My Way, it's fruity, like we can sniff the raspberry (candy version, which I prefer 🙈) I'm so surprise that out 4 perfumes this one was my least favorite upon checkout and now is my favorite.
I can't wear it on hot weather though, it can fill up a room, it's way better than the original Scandal

Davash

Now this is a raspberry scent allright, but it's a sugary raspberry candy not the actual berry. I know I'm way too old for this perfume, since to me So Scandal is an amped body spray with edp longevity and sillage but with body spray scent. It's not a bad scent by any means: actually it's quite lovely and I'm sure I would have loved this 20 - 15 years ago but now I'm having a hard time finding a proper time and place for this. But it sure makes me happy to think that young people have stuff like this to spray on! :D

Yanana

On first spray it reminds me of Pure XS by Paco Rabanne and as it starts to dry down I am reminded of Vert Malachite by Armani

natfran98

I wasn’t sure I was going to like this because L’Interdit and My Way are far too gummy tuberose heavy for me, but So Scandal! is actually really fruity. Once the raspberry has dried down the milk becomes prominent too so the tuberose is never excessive or stand-alone on my skin. It’s a sweet but not sickly, smooth floral fruity. On first spray it reminded me more of Pure XS than anything else, but a more floral version. I’m going to thoroughly enjoy my sample. Longevity is fantastic, probably the best longevity I’ve ever gotten out of a designer.

Lindsconn

This reminds me of a raspberry version of L’interdit. I like this, it’s quite a basic white floral and fruity fragrance but I could see this being a crowd pleaser. I think you could wear this any time of year too, from cold winter nights to a hot summer night out.

Update: I find that this smells almost identical to the new My Way Intense

fairymeist

I was expecting something a little bit sweeter but it's very floral, I can mostly smell the tuberose and then some jasmine, the opening was too strong I hated it, but the dry down is pretty, is nothing special but its a nice pleasant fragrance, you can only smell the raspberry in the opening then it's basically gone or you can smell it very subtle.
Nice, elegant and floral, it has a touch of sweetness from the flowers but then it becomes a skin scent.
The name 'So scandal' does not go with the fragrance at all, it's quite the opposite of a scandal.

Sandycheeks29

This is a lovely scent. I pick up a lot of grape juice/ pediatric cough syrup but in a nice way. Smells nice on paper and smells better on wrists.

Awani Syazzira

I hate it. On skin it smells like Johnson's baby powder, on clothes it's an annoying sweet raspberry thin syrup. The raspberry is annoyingly lost lasting. Now where I live, you can sweat easily. This fragrance's sweetness is a big no no when you're sweating.

fyetan

Opening was grapes to me! I guess that is what a touch of fruit + tuberose/jasmine/orange blossom smell like to me, because Giorgio Armani My Way is the same.
Sillage is soft and longevity is... also soft. Not expecting this after the eternal longevity of the original Scandal.
It is very pleasant though and if you like the bottles, this would be a nice addition to your collection.

Imalia

Smells like a warm afternoon on the porch sipping raspberry-orange tea. Definitely not the honey bomb like the original Scandal is, but it has the same strength and impact for me. Very pretty and inviting scent. Overall, would recommend this.

nicksolihin

A mixture of floral and raspberry, not too sweet just nice, better than olympia for me, recomended

vetiverberry

I was NOT expecting this at all. I haven’t tried the other Scandals, but I LOVE this. On my skin, it’s not super sweet, though it does become sweeter as it develops on my skin. I ordered a small sample decant because I was curious about the line and this flanker had the notes that I found most appealing (a fruity floral without patchouli! Imagine that!)

It starts with a very tart raspberry accord, kind of synthetic, but in a nice way if that makes sense. The raspberry moves to the background pretty quickly and reveals decadent, milky tuberose, orange blossom, and jasmine. It’s a candied tuberose not unlike a lot of other modern white florals, but what sets it apart is the subtle lactonic note and the lingering tartness of red fruit. I like this a lot better than vanilla tuberoses and best of all, it has excellent longevity.

This is a love for me. You might like this if you like other candied tuberose-centric perfumes like Madonna Truth or Dare and Vilhelm Parfumerie’s Moon Carnival. Maybe not safe as a blind buy since white florals can be polarizing, but having sampled this, I think I might have to splurge on a FB at some point.

soumayaela

So scandal is very different from the other flankers of the line, it's sweet but not gourmande, unlike the others it's on the fresh and floral side

The first spray is a sharp and sweet strawberry but it goes away quickly and you're left with a sweet candied creamy jasmin and tuberose perfume

I'm really amazed by the longevity and sillage of So scandal! Yes it fills a room and leaves a trail

So scandal is the summer flanker of the Scandal line and it's the easiest to wear
I'm sure people will give you compliments when you wear it, very crowd pleasing

I see the comparison with l'interdit, both are sweet jasmin and tuberose perfumes, but So scandal smells like candy and l'interdit like bubblegum! I have them both and enjoy wearing them equally

Jean Paul Gaultier is my fav perfume designer for sure, great bottles quality perfumes for reasonnable prices

hibiscusdolphin

Pleasant, quite a sweet smell when first sprayed which then develops and becomes slightly less floral .
Personally, i dont think its the most exciting fragrance ever, reminds me a bit of airport perfume, quite a simple smell but it doesnt smell bad so thats good

Jasmindee

Ohh, I like this. I really like this.

This is super duper sweet, and I'm kind of living for it. The opening blast is a delicious, heady concoction of raspberry, orange blossom, and Jasmine, definitely leans a little more floral than what I was expecting, but that addictive milky note settles in quickly after, making this a real wrist sniffer. I've never smelled anything like this. Creamy white flowers, sumptuous raspberry and milk. Mmmmmm.

I can see why others are comparing it to L'Interdit. They're not massively similar apart from the juicy gummy bear opening, so perhaps they're cousins instead of sisters. So Scandal is very flirtatious and loud, and I think it would be a great perfume for a first date. This makes me think of pink frilly skirts, bubblegum lipgloss and days out picking fruit with a loved one.

I've added this to my to-buy list.

Perfume-me1

Love this one from first sniff , its sweet raspberry very pleasent very different from others scandal ...as a gourmand lover i do have it in my collection and i almost finished the bottle, its so nice for spring and summer

Elena-kur

It smells super lactonic a couple of minutes after spraying ,which I really appreciate .
Clean, fresh and flowery laundry in the air 🧺
It reminds me somehow of Jean Paul Gaultier Ma Dam

kbgirl19

smells like cough syrup and way too sweet. sticking to scandal by night

Tropicat28

I feel like there is honey in this. Something about it being sweet and somewhat tart with a drop of honey like A Paris.

LinaSVas

This makes me think of a carefree blonde that wears pinks and pastels (Legally Blonde style). I really like it all the same. Even though I know its tuber rose and raspberry that dominate the scent - I smell juicy bubblegum.

diaanz81

So scandal smells like over ripe raspberry, sweet milk, bubble gummy tuberose and heady white florals. While this is not as cloyingly sweet as the original scandal, this is still pretty sweet and I can see this going into the cloying territory quite easily depending of how heavily you spray and weather. I think this whole scandal line is just not for me.

wookiesen

I love this perfume and it is my go-to date perfume. I´d say it is good for all seasons but in colder weather it is more fresh, while in warm weather it gets very fruity and lactonic. So scandal really is flirt in the words true meaning. It is quite synthetic but not in a bad way according to me. But I´d recommend everyone to try this out first because it isn´t for everyone. For me it is a clear 10 and i hope they never discontinue this. I´ll always need this in my collection!

Kimmie96

Okay, I was discouraged by the reviews of this perfume. Plus I have the original Scandal so I did not want to be put off by the Scandal family.

My sister has Scandal by Night and she absolutely adores it and it is quite different and unique from the original Scandal.

I finally got to purchase So Scandal and it excites me, everytime I put it on. I have received so many compliments and I'm so happy I purchased it. At a point, I did not like it because it smelt too generic but I got use to it and I love it. Especially because I'm taking a break from the original Scandal. It reminds me of Killian Love Don't be Shy without the candy/marshmallow.

Bling21

Listenn. Let me walk you through this fragrance! I was at the mall trying to find a new perfume to buy and I kept trying different ones but no one stood out to me, then the cosmetician recommends so scandal to me, and as soon as she sprayed it, the scent filled the whole store! I’m not even exaggerating like it was one spiff but lord it seemed like 3! I loveeee this perfume I don’t think I can even love it anymore than I do. It’s super fruity and milky, the tuberose is very dominant in this, and if you’re not a fan of tuberose do not get this because you are not gonna like it at all. This perfume is very bold, it makes a statement so definitely not suitable for office or work. I wore this out once and I got lots of compliments from people telling me I smell like a raspberry bubblegum. Definitely a hit for me and I hope they never discontinue this!

Tropicat28

I love his fragrance so much. If it ever gets discontinued I will buy as many bottles of it as I can. Even I wish it came in a 3.4 or a 4.2. It was love at first sniff. I love raspberry notes and I’m picky when it comes to Tuberose. Dries down creamy and has excellent longevity. Smells like a a mix between Misteriosa and My Way but better.

sugaryrose

I'm very disappointed with this fragrance. It's the only Scandal I don't like. So synthetic, there's nothing beautiful in it. It's neither sexy nor elegant. Not fresh. Just unpleasant.

justlikemagic

Goes on like cherry cough syrup at first, settles into a very strong but not unpleasant white floral, and then fades into a cherry cough syrup tinged raspberry. Someone below felt this was medicinal, and I would agree with that.

weirdhoney21

This gives me syrupy red berries with subtle white florals in the background. Would be a great night out fragrance if you want to get noticed in a crowd. It's very sweet and could be cloying if you spray too much though. It has great sillage! I sprayed this on my wrist and could smell it strongly while walking outside in a heavy coat. This is a little too much for me but if you like sweet berry scents you'd like this!

Edit: This unfortunately gave me a bad headache :(

5/10

Cosmina07

It’s a fizzy scent. I can feel red fruits, not especially the raspberry and some white flowers. It doesn’t have the Scandal DNA and its power but I think it is more girly and delicious, kind of a milkshake in a perfume bottle with some syrup and pink flakes on top. I think will transform nicer in the spring and summer time, it needs some sunlight because it has potential

ladolcemae

So scandal is pink sugar but more expensive and without the burnt note. However, i hate pink sugar. The lactonic note kinda remind me of a baby burp after he’s eaten sweets he wasnt allowed go. This is headache inducing, and kinda makes me wanna throw up too so apply carefully - but good projection and good longevity if that’s your type of smell.

AlexandraTroush

Floral and juicy, nothing outworldly but also not entirely bad. The opening is similar to My Way, but it goes away rather fast. As it's setting, it becomes more similar to L'Interdit. Later, the dry-down has a hint of welcome bitterness to counter the sweetness, and it makes the scent more grown-up. I wouldn't buy this for myself (not much of a fruity-floral girl), but I can see this being pretty and fun on others.

sweetNcozy

update:the more i wear this the less i like it it’s starting to give off a medicinal vibe on my skin and i don’t think this is for me it’s not a terrible scent i believe it’s the tuberose for me if there is anyone who loves fruity tuberose i’m willing to do a trade within reason

sweetNcozy

if you’re a fan of the other flankers you might be slightly disappointed in this new release .on my skin this pulls quite floral but on my clothes it is a sweet delightful raspberry candy with some slight creamy ness .this is definitely an odd addition to the scandal line.if you are not a fan of tuberose then this will not be the scent that changes your mind ,this is a tuberose bomb.my mother really likes the scent and it creates a nice scent bubble around you. i do recommend sampling this scent first before buying

MademoiselleMaya

It is sadly linear, but the notes hint at wild strawberry and raspberry very clearly. It is unusual - so it can be interesting for many girls. All thanks to mixing raspberries with white flowers. I do not get any milk, or any base notes - which is strange after 5 hours :) Maybe another time. It is also super long lasting. I can still detect it on my wrist after a shower and a full night sleep, so it lasts ~24 hours on me.

Sunkissed

Pretty floral! But a bit generic... I can't think of what it reminds me of. I don't hate it and if I was given this as a gift I'd definitely wear it, but it's just not something I'd buy. At least not now.
My nose detects raspberry, tuberose and jasmine. Nothing milky.

The descrption says this perfume is sensual, but I don't think so. Maybe a little flirty? But not sexy.
I decided to ask my husband if he thinks this smells sexy and he says no. He doesn't understand a lot about perfume but tried to explain why so I guess the culprit is the raspberry. Not sure, but thought I'd add this tidbit anyways.

I can imagine someone wearing this for a fun dinner and cocktail with friends :-)
Long lasting!

This is nothing to do with the original. A quite sour floral fruity and also much weaker than the original Scandal. And it is not nearly as gourmand.

You know, I'd spend hours smelling myself.
Because to me So Scandal! has two different souls, and I love the one that rises to an inch from my wrist. Is a carnal and rough soul of a slightly dirtier tuberose. Ohhh it's wonderful.
On my clothes and in the bubble where I move, there it's a whole other story. The firmness feeling (not the smell) is of good lacquered enamel, wet fresh paint scent, unchanged over time that only evaporation can dissolve. Fixed lacquered tuberose. That's not a bad thing, let’s be clear.
At all costs I search for DNA trace of previous versions, as well as milk, without succeeding.
My hope in the good star induces me to wait for a version that can be more nocturnal, urban, biting asphalt and graphite, and metropolitan.
I cross my fingers while I cradle and happily enjoy these 7,5 ml.

I don't like the other fragrances from the scandal line but this one I love! It's quite sweet, but not offensive. Definitely a younger fragrance. I'd say it's appropriate for all seasons and times of the year, but it's a "fun" fragrance, not for the office.
It's quite pricey and I've never seen it on sale because it's new. But I treated myself to it because I just love the smell so much and I don't regret it

I enjoy this scent a lot! It's sweet, feminine and it blends well with my skin!

This does not fit into the Scandal line. No honey, longevity or sillage. Smells cheap and uninteresting. Does not live up to the usual Gaultier standard, in my opinion.

I’m a huge fan of original Scandal so I thought I would like this for sure.. I tried it in store and liked it a lot and bought the 80 ml bottle and I’m soooo disappointed. It smells so cheap!

No, no, no... I've recently discovered that the one ingredient I cannot stand is TUBEROSE! I tried to like it, as I love the original Scandal, Scandal by Night and now my new Scandal A Paris, but the tuberose is so overpowering on my skin that it envelops everything! In fact, this perfume smells exactly like Elie Saab Le Perfume in White! This was corroborated by my lawyer co-worker, who sits across me and who recently got married; his new wife wore this perfume on her wedding day (as it's known as a bridal perfume), so the one time I sprayed So Scandal at the office he was having some servious flashback!!!
