This perfume smells like an expensive serum or shampoo, It smells classy. I found it to be loud and too perfumey.

Lemon is overwhelming..I tried hard to like it, but it did not really work out for me. On clothes like jacket it smells quite good, on the skin or hair not good at all.
Somewhat unisex. On guys it might smell better by the way.

Bought based on reviews here, and it’s a hit for me! A light, graceful, daytime feminine fragrance that is quite likely to be universally pleasing unless you are averse to this whole genre, to particular fruits or florals or if you are a jaded perfumista seeking earth shattering experiences.

Did Karl Lagerfeld get tired and stopped trying? Because this EDP smells like it.
Yes it is a very likable, delicate and elegant floral with a fresh rosy start and creamy frangipani heart but it lacks edge and uniqueness. Coming from the very edgy and creative Mr KL (silver white ponytail, black sunglasses 🕶️ indoors and a hand fan 🪭), this is underwhelming, especially when we’re lost for choice in today’s market.
However if you suffer from allergies or headaches from perfume this would probably be a great choice as it is very pleasant and elegant almost ethereal and not too loud. It’s mostly a skin scent after 10 minutes and lasts for 3-4 hours on my skin. The bottle is hefty and well executed and at current discounts I’m not totally disappointed. I was just expecting more.

Really beautiful underrated Gem!!! I agree with the review below, this is totally a hidden gem if you like citrus, rose soft florals. Lasts so well for a soft floral. The soft peach note adds a sweetness that isn’t sugary or too much. I’ve reviewed this before but I just had to say again just how lovely this is for the price. Grab it while you can as I think it is discontinued unfortunately just like all the best fragrances.

I love this so much and is one of the best blind buys I've ever made. It is perfect for spring and I have received compliments every time I've worn it recently.

On my skin the peach and citrus is very prominent and juicy with the florals coming in second. Peach is my favorite fruity note and it makes this rather average floral composition just delightful. It doesn't remind me of daisy as the floral notes are handled differently.

To me this is a real hidden gem and it lasts for hours on my skin with wide enough spillage to garner compliments from strangers. A keeper and I wouldn't mind owning a backup at these current prices

This was my second perfume, after Burberry Weekend. Although most would say this is boring, I could forgive it given the price. I do find the opening to be abit too sharp on the sweetness. The dry down gets better, still sweet, citrusy but more floral and slightly woody & musky. Overall a very elegant feminine scent, though I might find it to be a tad bit screechy at times.

Hmm...as soon as I sprayed this, I knew I smelled this before. I couldn't place it right away. It reminded me of my aunts in the early 90's. Suddenly it came to me...Diamonds and Sapphires by Elizabeth Taylor! It makes sense, as I see they share some similar notes.

Karl Lagerfeld for her is not at all what I imagined based on the notes. This is a "heavy" scent. It's a bit too much for me. I'm not saying it's bad, but it's definitely not me. I don't know about those tropical and lactonic accords being attributed to this, but I get none of that.

For me this is the most boring perfume I tried.

Extremely fresh, clean, pretty fragrance with the fruits and flowers so well blended.
Magnolia and citruses brighten while the plumeria and musk elevate this perfume.

Feminine, soft and citrusy sweet. Spray generously because she will ghost you after an hour and become a skin scent. Nice for cuddling.

I have to say Fragantica reviews steered me right with this perfume.
This is mostly floral, citrus and a heavy musk which is not a negative, it's a big love!
Many similarities to Quatre but definitely enough differences to be able to pick them apart and chose a favorite. This is much stronger and muskier and has about the same same great longevity as Quatre. I absolutely prefer this because I love both the scent and the performance. One of my best blind buys.

I bought a sample of this just out of curiosity and I actually find it quite pleasant which surprised me. It seems like the typical perfume you would wear during the late school years, but it's not as girly as I expected. I kind of reminds me of Tommy girl!

Smells really citrusy on me. I Have no idea why. I expected Rosy scent, but no, lemon is prominent note.

My best friend tends to overspray this in class, so it's a migraine trigger for me... however you could say that this is a dupe for Miss Dior rose n roses, as it smells pretty similar

This is still one of my absolute favourite perfumes. It’s so elegant and classy smelling without a huge price tag. I was interested in one of the comments comparing it to Versace Vanitas, it’s so true! I compared side by side and they are literally the same with only very slight difference on dry down. I was so pleased because I love the Versace but it’s been discontinued I have a few backup bottles so I have some to compare. I was so surprised that I didn’t pick up the similarities earlier because I love Vanitas. I always knew the Karl Lagerfeld reminded me a lot of the style of Versace perfume‘s but I didn’t realise just how close it was. Amazing good quality long lasting fragrance I highly recommend.

I used to wear this everyday to work. This doesn't make up to the price that it charges. I paid $100 for the fragrance for it to only disappear after a few hours. Though it's the most beautiful orange blossom fragrance it lacks projection and longevity. It's super weak.

Underrated perfume in my opinion. Was a blind buy for me and I really love it! It is clean and fresh, slightly citrusy and floral. Longevity is about 5 hours on me, but I do not mind, It costed like 20 bucks only and the smell definitely does not reflect the price, it is sophisticated and in a way expensive even. Beautiful perfume, would highly recommend even as a blind buy!

Beautiful, the Frangipani makes this perfume so smooth, silky, womanly, soft. It's wonderful, a perfume you can use everyday and feel uplifted, playful, beautiful with a touch of tropic in everyday life. I feel calm while wearing it. Love it! It has the Eaudemoiselle de Givenchy -Sun di Gioa -vibe

Another nice white floral. Not bad but nothing special about it either. Doesn’t compare with Quatre. That one is another level. More refined and well blended. KL is very basic and has no character. I will use it up and I am not repurchasing.

This parfume is sophisitcated and feminine without trying too hard. Not femme fatale, just the everyday, alluring woman. I feel I look good wearing it even without any makeup, in my jeans and girly T-shirt. Gives me confidence.
First it suprised me as instead of peach and lemon it smells like honeydew melon on my skin. My husband and I got a good laugh because when we started dating each other a few centuries ago, the fashionable parfumes all had a very prominent honeydew melon note. It seems I can't get rid of it. The longevity is very good, cc 7 hours on me, sillage is moderate. It can easily be worn all year around, but shows its best in spring I think.

Unlike any other perfume, it has the note I have been searching for: snowdrop. Not listed, but this is how it smells to me.
Unexpected, I must admit. The moment I took off the lid and left to see the crisp, silver collar of the bottle, it put me in a serious mood. But then the fragrance...so feminine, so delicate. Unexpected, indeed.

It's quite similar to Boucheron's Quatre, without the lemon note. A nice rosy fresh pefume, great springtime and office choice, at least for me.

Actually, surprisingly long-lasting perfume! On the skin it keeps the whole day around. On the hair stays up to the next day. For me, this scent is mostly citrus (bright lemon), some flowers (not so rosy although) quite a lot of wood and a drop of musk. Lemon here is not sweet, not sour, it is an aromatic, like from the lemonade juice. This "lemonade juice" here does not sound light-headedly, it has no a beach vibe for relaxation or for some easy-going outdoors activity.
It is quite a serious, sophisticated, straight-forward, classy, slightly unisex office fragrance. I can imagine a business lady, who wears this fragrance, for to meet up her business partners. She does not needs to seduce anybody or distract attention on something that much. She will discuss her concrete business, will make up a business contract after and this perfume will give a little hint of sophistication to her.
Scent is bright, fresh (in a right way), summery (for the spring its good too). In winter this fragrance sounds a little bit prickly and coldish, while in the summer, the flowers opens up finally.

A blind buy....a good buy!!!!
It's easy to wear, easy to smell, clean and fresh. Imagine a woman wearing beige modern clothes, beautiful shiny hair and light make up...could wear exactly this perfume. A look that seems expensive but it isn't necessary. It' s a harmony, a nice symphony. Verdi 4 seasons spring.

My best blind buy, fresh yet elegant. Daytime or evening wear. Summer or Winter. I do not find it similar to Quatre de Boucheron at all. I own them both, they might have a similar opening but their finish is completely different.

I blind bought this perfume about a week ago, there was a good bargain on the set (100 Ml Perfume, Body Lotion, and Shower Gel) for about 60 USD, so I thought why not! I will give it a go, especially I never tried anything from Karl Lagerfeld's house before.

The fragrance: is a very generic Fruity/Floral scent, with Peach and Magnolia taking the lead with a fizzy/bright opening and a creamy/soft dry down, when I first sniffed it, it instantly reminded me of at least 2 or 3 other fragrances, so it is not unique in terms of the scent and it is not cheap smelling at the same time, it does have the same qualities of a designer fragrance. it is a pleasant perfume, it is easy to reach for when you are indecisive on the scent of the day

Longevity and Sillage: I am so impressed by the longevity, it is long-lasting (keep in mind the weather now is cold with low humidty) for sillage it is moderate and soft. Sillage was stronger when layered with the shower gel and body lotion (I am using body lotion here as written on the tube, yet in fact, it is more like body milk in texture)

Overall, I like the scent, not sure if it is going to be stable in my collection or if I will repurchase, but I am happy with it and it is a good value to money for sure

A sheer fruity floral. Nothing complicated, heavy, or tbh, original. There are literally dozens of perfumes out there in the same vein, though this is better than most of them simply because it's not syrupy sweet and there is nothing synthetic here to my nose. The composition is somewhat true to the note profile and has a weightlessness that should work as well in warm weather as its working now in cold. Though not a silage bomb, I was able to smell it clearly around me for about 5 hours. Not bad for a fragrance that cost me $12.00 with free shipping for a 3. 4oz.tester bottle. For that price I can respray to my heart's content. While this is far from a love, I don't hate it and will wear it on those occasions when I just can't make up my mind and need something that smells pretty, clean, and doesn't make a statement.

As a side note, I do not understand some of the reviews. It sounds like they are describing a men's cologne. Could it be they are reviewing the men's version and put it in the wrong spot?

1/15/23 - I was getting ready for church and running late. I just stuck my hand into the perfume cabinet and came out with this. The only thought I had at the time was, Thank God it's not Lush Lust. Ha, ha... and spritz on a few sprays. Citrus, apple and peach on first spray, then the magnolia came barreling in with the other florals following shortly after settling on a musky, woody, ambery base. Maybe it's because this bottle has been sitting unworn for so long it had macerated some more, but this is now a fruity floral bomb on me, with the emphasis on the florals. Made me think of Enjoy by Jean Patou. Actually, it is much prettier than that. I am really liking this now.

I have ordered this for my mom and received it yesterday. Very beautiful floral scent and it is perfect for her. I must admit I like it even for myself. For it's price, the longevity is remarkable.

I had a bottle of this and I used to wear it go to work. I remember receiving compliments from another girl who loved perfumes. I must admit I don't remember the scent very well, just that it smells bright, peachy and floral. :-) I wonder if I would recognise the smell. I guess it isn't very memorable, but it smells good nonetheless. While I don't remember the scent itself, I remember really liking it. It's also affordable and the bottle is very nice. It lasted well on my skin and it projected well enough that this friend could sniff me from across the room - and I'm not an oversprayer.

I finished a big bottle, it was an easy grab and go. I think it would be a safe blind buy as long as you like the notes.

I don't really want to go back to most of my old fragrances, but this is one of the very few exceptions. I am not actively looking for it, but I would be willing to get a bottle if I found it again.

Even though this is now 6 years old, it somehow reminds me of those niche “molecule” type fragrances that are so popular now. Perhaps it is because there seems to be a dominant synthetic clean musk element. But then that’s Karl for you, always ahead of his time. RIP Karl. I do enjoy it & think it is good for all occasions and could never offend. It would be a good signature scent. There is something in the heart of this that is extremely pleasant to my nose. I can’t really identify what the note is but it is so clean & enjoyable! Thumbs up for me on this one 👍

this was a blind buy last year, but a successfull one; i am in love with it! a simple everyday fragrance, best on warmer days in spring and summer. maybe nothing special really, but that's what i love about it. if you like floral scents but you just want an everyday perfume and nothing too heavy, this is for you. to be honest, not everyone can or want rock heavy spicy scents and this smells fantastic. also a nice luxurious bottle.

Where do I start? I purchased this as another pandemic blind buy, and at first I was physically upset and confused with the scent. Karl Lagerfield flanked me with a fragrance both similar to it's description, and so very far from it. The scent is perplexing, and for a while, I danced around the fragrance, not knowing quite how to classify any of it. The bottle is both feminine and masculine; a direct metaphor for the dichotomy of it's contents. Soft, musky rose opposed to a deeply resonant woody amber. Citrus notes quickly develop and dissipate, leaving a clean effervescence. Floral notes gently direct you to the core of the composition. If I was being trite, I would say that Karl meant to infuse a certain feminine empowerment within the layers of this creation. It is as if the feminist movement expressed throughout history, was captured and encapsulated into one perfume. The more I acquaint myself, the more I learn to love this assertive alternative to your standard sweet, unimposing rose scent - so unsparingly used in other perfumes.

This is absolutely the cleanest smelling parfym that I know. This could be one of the Clean-parfyms. I can't smell flowers or fruits, I just smell clean and fresh scent. Not soapy way. I really like it.
Sillage is very good, over 8h on my skin.

i don't get it ,what's the point to create a parfume which have poor performance and lasting power is less than 2 hours?

After spraying: slightly synthetic rose (Chloe) + trace of peach
After a minute: I get Classique vibes (diluted Classique or some of its dupes) I smell orange blossom (and a little bit tuberose!), not bubble gummy, rather flowery. The perfume is very "bright". Orange blossom evaporates from the skin creating sweet anise-watermelon veil (you know that kind of sweetness, without any sourness of fruits, sweet as aniseed and watermelon).
After 15 minutes till now: underneath the orange blossom I can smell thuja "needles" - a coniferous fresh note, almost like fruity hard candy (crushed thuja "needles" smell pretty fruity and coniferous at the same time).

It is a very interesting fragrance, I wonder how I could avoid it on shelves for such a long time. Definitely worth trying.

(Now I've read list of notes and there is no orange blossom, anise, watermelon nor thuja haha :)

I own several KL perfumes, this is by far one of his best! My recent bottle is only 5 weeks old and it's already half gone. I get many compliments when I wear this <3 I found a great seller on eBay that sells testers of this gorgeous perfume for less than $15 a piece, I am planning on stocking up!!!!!

Yes it's innocent and the sillage is short lived and you have to reapply, but that's why is so affordable!

Additionally it's quite small, I got 25ml, so it can be easily slipped in your bag for reapplications.

One of my fave scents. The musk is just so sexy and strong. Floral but in a sexy way. It’s a masculine scent. Not very feminine at all. I don’t see why a woman would want to wear this scent at all. I’m a man and I see why a man would love this. I guess a specific type of woman could. But this is a inoffensive sexy sleek musky floral with a hint of soft clean vibrant rose. The bottle is also so unique and I love the top/lid it’s so pleasing to the hand to grab. Also typically more masculine. For something similar - look to Jimmy Choo Illicit Flower, essentially identical also with a unique bottle and very affordable. Karl still demands a higher price.

If you need a fresh, non-offensive scent for everyday wear from an office to lunch to shopping, this is it. It's not pushing any boundaries, its not edgy, it's not going to make a cute boy fall in love with you. It's fresh and clean and modest. It's safe. It's sweet 16 in a bottle. Not that it's for only young women, just it's got an innocence to it. If you want to make an entrance or impress your date, pick something more interesting. Sillage is soft and you'll need to reapply throughout the day. Like others, I got mine for $20 and it's a great fragrance at that price.

Beautiful sweet floral. Inoffensive. I'm not sure if I smell any of the notes listed here, but for me this is a masterpiece. I went through half of my 85 ml bottle in less than a month while having other 50 full bottles at home. And for that price? Total steal!

Rose all day. Beautiful bottle. For $19.99 at Shoppers Drug it was a gamble. No complaints, it's a well made rose scent.

As I still continue my search for that perfect white floral soft and clean perfume that LASTS on me, is BOLD ENOUGH but doesn't give me headache... And I think I've found one.
Though it says it has a magnolia in it, to my nose it felt more like a jasmine. Anyways, I love it! It opens up beautifully and I hear compliments from others too. It lasts pretty long and is strong enough to be noticed in a crowd. Definitely going to purchase it asap.
I see it as a perfect spring and summer perfume, it makes you feel like you are on a vacation to Mediterranean countries standing in a white floral garden. Though the bottle is not that expensive it gives pretty much luxury feeling to my nose. I think it will be my new to-go signature scent till the fall! I'm so happy about it!

This is a copy of Juicy Couture's Couture La La EDP. What else could I say? I can't detect the notes listed here. I smell a crispy apple tone on top, soft musks and a touch of florals...

Karl Lagerfeld for Her is indeed very similar to Quatre Boucheron but the starting notes are different here (more floral and creamy because of magnolia...?). Once the perfume settles, it’s very easy to confuse it with Quatre. Both become very citrusy...

I like Karl Lagerfeld perfumes and really wanted to like this one. But, I had tried Boucheron Quatre first and found it to be much nicer than Karl Lagerfeld actually.

There's nothing offensive or difficult with this perfume which I think is it's key feature. It's just lovely. It's not anything too interesting but there's nothing off putting or even really boring about it, despite being a simple blend of fragrances. It makes a casual day become a little more enjoyable and positive, and it's great to have a perfume of this nature in a collection.

Just bought a 25ml bottle blind at Shoppers for $19.99. I like this scent, but it doesn't blow me away. I'm not the biggest fan of modern scents, but this one's pretty good. It has decent sillage and longevity. It's the equivalent of a flowy summer dress that I would just throw on, not knowing what to wear that day. It's very creamy, floral and safe. The bottle is nice though. 6/10

First impression ??? Fruity floral scent mixed up wit a fresh shower sparkle. After few hours appear the flower ingredients. I would say that this is great for ladyes from up 20 to 100 years users

The magnolia is treated exactly like Britney Spear’s Curious, a bit screechy and dry. It’s essentially a Curious with added rose.

Ok so I've been wearing this for weeks now and think I can give a really good review of it. This to me smells like wealth! It smells like a really wealthy well put together woman haha... I don't know what it is exactly that makes it smell like this to me but I feel sophisticated and really classy when I put this on. It's a really pretty well blended perfume and it's getting super hard to find now and makes me worry it's being discontinued so I've snapped up any bottle I can find...

I love this! This is a beautiful perfume. Lovely floral sweet and smells expensive to me. What's so funny is I bought Jimmy Choo Flash and this on the same day and when I looked them up here I see they are from the same famous perfumer Christine Nagel!I must really enjoy her fragrances I think she's amazing because she blends florals so seamlessly and they smell so layered and well made. Will definitely be repurchasing this it's beautiful, lasts well and is excellent quality.

Karl lagerfeld perfume is a verry feminine floral perfume. A bit exotic brought by the frangipani.the magnolia is predominent throught out the all time of the wearing. The peach brings a little sweetness to the fragrance. The rose is more subtle but still present. The wood and amber brings a soft warm to the fragrance. The lemon is more on a small note in the fragrance. Love it!

You can "trust" this scent even if you accidentally sprayed too much it can never become offensive. It's very soft spoken and "smooth" down to its core and doesn't change at all but it lacks a lot of depth. I feel like it could have had more depth and warmth.... Surrounding it. It's good for chilling around and lounging but lacks depth and character for more sophisticated events. Good errands running or in a hurry need a perfume any perfume type of scent. Trustworthy predictable and generally its safe & slightly unique but there's no depth...

This is a nice flowery and fruity scent. On my skin it´s the Magnolia and rose I smell the most. I don´t mind that at all, because I´m a sucker for flowery smells.

It´s a discreet scent that makes it great as a “wearing to the office-“parfume. It´s not gonna offend anyone.

If Boucheron Quatre and Burberry Body were mixed you would get Karl Lagerfeld. Very heady and floating white florals around a juicy peach and a lush rose.
Smells classy and mature. A bit of a tropical vibe as well from frangipani. Excellent sillage. I think people who enjoy floral- fruity, emphasis on floral would enjoy.

Smells like cleaning products I use to clean my bathroom. Or the entire flat.
Now, I understand that it smells nice, it's just not something I would use to make myself smell ridiculously good.
The drydown is similar to Ivoire by Pierre Balmain, another perfume I blind bought and can't put to use. Ivoire is better though, in my opinion.
Maybe I just need time to adjust...

Springlike magnolia-rose scent, rather synthetic but in a good way!

Just got this. I love this it is very plain nothing like a celebrity perfume very classy. I cant see it offending anyone. It reminds me of a versace perfume I had that I think they have discontinued. I was never able to find a replacement so now I have. This radiates from me quite well as most perfumes dont last 5 seconds on me. It never annoys me no headaches and certainly not too sweet. I love the bottle too. I would like to try his other perfumes now. If you like jadore, jennifer anniston or versace pour femme or poison tendre, eternity moment you may like this

I love love love it. It reminds me of a lighter version of chloe from the 80's. I smell the unique scent of plumeria with peach.

I would say this is a very safe perfume to buy as a gift if you are not sure what the person you are giving it to likes.
But to be honest, I expected something more extravagant from Karl Lagerfeld, this is just one of many inoffensive, pleasant but utterly boring and forgettable fragrances.

Bought it few minutes ago, a 45 ml bottle. It's really good. It has a slightly bitter background that I love. I tested at the drugstore, but is a safe blind buy if you can't test it. In this genre (I mean, pale pink juice), it's one of the best. Probably I'll buy it again.

Nice peachy opening. Then turns into a creamy, delicate rose with amber and musk in the background. It actually reminded me of Chloe EDP. It's a likable fragrance, but nothing groundbreaking. Safe for a blind buy. Unfortunately doesn't stay long on the skin - in my case about 4 hours.

first i get the vial. very light, feminin, flora. and i love magnolia, rose and lemon.

and second ive bought it. travel size 7.5ml plus body lotion. great price great quality.

This one is quite nice. I get a citrusy musk with a soft floral touch. It is elegant and smells expensive, but it lacks originality. It reminds me of many perfumes i´ve already tested, but for this price i think it is ok. I would say it is a safe gift or a safe blind buy, but it won´t turn heads.
Try it if you like Chloé Eau de Parfum.

I got one of those sample vials of this juice somehow and sprayed it on myself at work. It was very fresh and floral and although I liked it, it wasnt enough for me to want to buy it. At least not right away. But I couldnt stop sniffing my wrist. Fast forward a few weeks and I couldnt get the smell out of my head. I sprayed it on after the shower. My boyfriend came over and asked "What is that??! It smells amazing" I knew I wanted it. Lol It is a nice spring everyday fragrance and I was able to find a really good deal at Amazon. 2.8 oz for $31.. No shipping! Cant beat it!

"Karl Lagerfeld" is a feminine sweet perfume with Flowery and Fruity notes with a lot of Magnolia and Rose scent. I can smell Peach in the top note and a bit musk as the base note too. It is a good perfume for Spring and Summer with medium longevity and projection. This is a good perfume for daily activities.

I got a set of the large bottle of this EDP, a roll-on and the body lotion. This way the scent will last longer. This fragrance is very elegant, so is the bottle. Karl Lagerfeld is no John Galliano. To me KL is very elegant, black and white. I am surprised that some people here expected an edgy scent "a la John Galliano".

I like it! Soft, feminine, pretty, and girly. Like a lovely lady who doesn't need to shout and doesn't have anything to prove.

I was disappointed with this perfume. Very average and it could be anything. Won't buy again.

It sure does smell like Marc Jacob's Daisy, I like it and will get me a FB for the summer.

Enjoyable scent through and through. I believe this will do me better in the colder months or dead winter. Heavily rose and floral. Aromatic simply floral, nothing about this is "fruity" at all. I still love the bottle and just treasure that I found it at a cheap price as honesty even with my enjoyment. This scent is so "typical" I wouldn't want to spend more than $40 on it. And that's on a large bottle. Luckily I did not. I do have to say it has staying power but under the right "temperature" I will spray it a few more times, but it may be put up till colder months. Definitely not a summer or day when it's hot fragrance. At all.

I really like this fragrance, it's a nice soft everyday kind of scent. It isn't a powerhouse or a huge standout or anything but more of a pleasent, close to the skin scent. Nice and safe peachy rose combo :)

Everytime I've worn this, I've been asked if I'm wearing Marc Jacob's Daisy... if I wanted to wear Daisy, I would've.

Classic note with classic pyramid. Cannot get it wrong. That's a safe choice for a blind buy.

I absolutely love this fragrance from the first moment I sampled it I adored the crispness fresh notes of sea air & white flowers, it takes your senses on a journey across the ocean to an beautiful Island with exotic flowers and at the end of the journey there is a romantic sunset and warmth in the air. Perfect for Summer.

Warm with a little zesty kick too it. Reserved a sample vial of this and definitely can't wait to add a full size bottle to my collection, I also like that it isn't overly feminine atleast on my skin so can get with it is a unisex scent.

After spraying, it is best to keep nose away from that spot to let the alcohol dissipate. After three minutes, I get a blast of zesty (rather than sweet) lemon, then rose with a touch of peach for warmth but magnolia added in to bring help ensure the rose comes into the forefront. The magnolia helps this be more of a clear floral than a spicy floral. It is similar to Versace Vanitas so for $19.99 at Shoppers, Karl Lagerfeld is a deal although Versace may last longer. KL is good when you want that just-stepped-out-of-the-shower scent. After I hopped into the truck, hubby sniffed the air and said positively "mmm, smells good". For a floral, on me, it sticks close to skin so could be good as office scent. Not unique or edgy as I would have expected from Karl Lagerfeld but as a scent, pretty good for inoffensive, fresh floral, daytime scent.

This smells exactly like Versace Vanitas! the only difference is that i't doesn't give u headaches and it's more affordable! nice for day, spring and summer. Longevity and Sillance VERY good!

This should have been named "Anonymous" by Karl Lagerfeld, because its personality is like someone who wants to remain anonymous -- no one who smells this on you will see it as a 'personality' fragrance. It is perfectly pleasant and I like to wear it when I want to smell nice but not outrageously great. This will not get other peoples' attention. Given Lagerfeld's German personality, I expected something strong and edgy or German. Instead, this is like a soft, easy scent mid-way between floral and light woody-citrus that blends in with any environment. I like it since it is easy to wear, day or evening, it fits right into whatever you are doing. On me, the floral, magnolia and frangipani, start to come out and stay out, making it feminine and lightly pretty. If you hate heavy scents, the lightness will appeal to you. This is suited to an ageless woman and, seriously, could be worn by a woman in her 90s down to her 30s. This scent would be ridiculous on a teenager. One plus -- if you leave behind a trace of scent on a lover's shirt, NO one will be able to recall the scent or pick you out at a party later as the woman wearing that particular scent.

another sweet fragrance flowers and peach nothing special absolutely not lasting in my skin like 20 minutes and is gone:(

when i first smelled it at a department store, i fell in love with it. thought it would be my new everyday fragrance because my usual ralph lauren romance has been tampered with and no longer smells the same. so, i got this perfume and was happy with it until i realized that it gives me a headache. had to return. i think i liked it a bit too much initially, but later it was a very meh smell. still searching for my signature perfume!! :(

Think Armani Diamonds without the raspberry note or Dior Addict eau fraiche (2012 version). Not a standout scent by any means, yet it isn't generically boring either.
It's sparkling, fresh, romantic, playful and feminine.

In truth, this is a quiet scent, a bit like Vanitas, I like it, it is a smooth floral/ citrus scent with a clean clear edge...true not outstanding, nothing exciting here, but definitely nicely done...KL played it safe and mainstream, I find it easy and pleasant to wear, feminine, lovely!!! I would easily gift it to anybody who likes nice little scents!!

well, mine too is not going to be a very positive review. I bought this scent today and I think I couldn't evaluate this fragrance properly since I didn't let it to settle down. Now it's on me for about 3 hours and it's still citrussy, even sour with a little sweet note. What a pity... Nevertheless I will give it one more chance next summer.

I don't understand that big amount of negative reviews about this scent. Yes, it maybe isn't a bomb or something unique and new, but it's really good, juicy, fresh daytime perfume. A nice citrus-rose-musk perfume for a modern, dynamic lady of any age.
The opening is fresh, sparkling and mouthwatering (the lemon or just even a thought about a sour lemon), then I smell a bouquet of delicate flowers with some mild, juicy peaches hidden inside of that bouquet. Such a fun! The rose and the magnolia are prominent, but they don't make the scent "old" or too classic. The base is sweet, flowery musk with some wood hints. On me it's very long lasting.
This scent reminds me something- a scent I've had (or still have), but I can't figure out what exactly. If I'll remember, I will certainly write here. I'm thinking about purchasing a full bottle.

Update: I know- it reminds me Armand Basi Rose Glacee. And sometimes Versace Versense too.

I had grat expectations (as many fellow bloggers...) when I tried it.

After all it's KL, I mean, have you ever seen his designs for Chanel?, I'm not sure Coco was better than him, so elegant, refined, chic, creative, pure luxury, OMG!!

So expectations were high, and I was totally dissapointed on each and every one of them.

Won't discuss the notes, I'm not good at that, I thought this is a "light" version of La vie est belle, which is in turn a version of Flowerbomb. Please take note that this perfume had such a poor sillage that I could not even smell it out of the paper strip 5 minutes after it was spritzed.

I love you Karl, but not this perfume, sorry!!

Does anybody else notice the similarity to Chloe Narcisse? In my opinion these two scents are somehow similar. Narcisse came out in early nineties and as far as I remember Karl Lagerfeldt was the main designer of the brand at that time.

What a sweetheart. Peachy cheeks, rosy lips and minty breath. Beautiful for summertime vacation near water (preferably salty).

It's nice and simple. I have no actual bad words for it, the only thing is, it might be too ordinary in the world of many outstanding perfumes. But I guess there is also a market for simple light scents suitable for work or school.
Light floral scent, mostly rose and magnolia. There's also a little peach and citrus.
It could be quite refreshing.
So, my emotions for this one are quite positive, but since I am not a millionaire I can only afford to buy scents that completely amaze me.

I was patiently waiting for it to appear in the shops..... tried it on (abundantly) and thought: Whaaaat?? That's it??!? Karl hasn't brought out a perfume in decades, and that's all they came up with??

Negative reviews about this fragrance are surprising. It is a pure delight. Many reviewers comment that a particular scent is "generic". That may be true... but how different can perfumes with similar ingredients and notes be from one another... I mean really! In many instances the same "noses" create multiple scents and in 2014... how many fragrance ingredients have not been used and combined already. For me recent unexpected and unusual concoctions have come from Thierry Mugler, Tom Ford and Lolita Lempika ( lets not forget Pink Sugar!) The original Kim Kardasian and Tease from Paris Hilton are almost indistinguishable... but I have both. A beautiful fragrance is a beautiful fragrance and Karl Lagerfeld for Her is one of them. Just enjoy wearing it for what it is. I certainly do. It's fab!

My new favorite. I added that its a tad similar to Vanitas, so for lovers of Issey's famous freshness, or Versace's Vanitas edp or edt - this is a must have.
The frangipani makes it very fresh and comes off as romantic and intimate, i totally love it, very happy with this perfume. (I am a collector, and am obsessed with perfumes, but to be honest have never actually heard of this designer before :p ) perhaps because i dont own designer clothes, but the perfume is WOW.

Last time I was in France, I thought French women smelled real good and classy!!
If they smell like Karl Lagerfeld for her . it is actually pretty nice, and stylish..

I don't like really warm scents that just to me smell like a french whore. I also do not prefer very airy light scents either with no personality. I was buying so.e Gucci guilty black which is warm enough but enjoyable when I came across the new Lagerfeld for women and Oh my my!!! , it's exquisite. I'm hearing generic not original but in my opinion, that's not all what I get from this nicely put together long lasting scent . I've smelled so many scents that would go in the same accord trio. But this has a little more added warmth and I swear I smell tuberose as well, that really sets it apart from so many other frilly fruity. I LOVE IT!!!! BOUGHT THE LARGE BOTTLE. IT'S A SIGNATURE!!

Smelled today at macys. I enjoyed this. The dry down was nice. For the price I'll wait and if I find for a steal I would pick up. It is a bit typical has a lot of similar notes to other fragrances I own and like but has something in it that still pops enough to make me want. A future purchase for sure but a great scent.

First impression: meh. It is too safe, to generic. I mean it smells nice. But not worth the pricetag. I admit I tried quite a few perfume along with this one, and it sort of got lost. I will give it another go, but so far Im not impressed by this. No drama, no wow, nothing new at all. I guess playing it safe means winning a wider audience, however It is starting to get ridiculous, that in such saturated market, big names dont try harder to make something unique. There are enough notes out there to get creative. No?

I was trying the Male version and thought I'd give this a try as I'm not adverse to the odd fragrance aimed at women. For Her is a dire, generic floral, a peach/apricot/rose/musk thing which smells so similar to a million others. Doesn't smell bad as such just shows no imagination whatsoever and is a unit shifter, maybe just out in time for mothersday? I'm no expert but I thought Karl Lagerfeld fragrances were maybe a little daring or racy...Not this one!

This barely ok, and smells like squillions of other fragrances on the market. Anonymous flowers, sugar and clean musk - it's everywhere and I am disappointed that Karl did not go for something more original. One thing I will say is that if you like it you will find it great value - it is incredibly, tiresomely persistent on the skin!! I just wish it was more elegant and more interesting.

Another generic rose perfume. It opened with slightly metallic note which was gave it interesting twist. But in the dry down it can't detect anything else except some citrus and rose. It's very pleasant scent but there are many better quality perfumes carrying rose note. It's very light and not really good lasting on my skin. Sillage is also very soft.

When I went to Macys the SAs convinced me to try about 10 scents, and this one is the only one that stood out. It's very floral and fresh, and the scent is really unique (imo). It's not all the generic fragrances out there. It's bright but also sensual, and it sits close to the skin.

I would say it's perfect for spring time because of all the different floral notes. The perfume lasts about 6-7 hours on my wrists so it's pretty good. I know there are a lot of floral fruity fragrances out there that don't last a long time, but this one is an exception.

Citrus woody scent, quite aromatic. For sure it is elegant, it is just too mature for me. I prefer sweeter and milder scents.

I've given this fragrance a good trial on my skin and I must say that in my opinion, it smells quite unpleasant on my skin. It opens with sickeningly sweet and skanky synthetic musk, synthetic fruit and floral, smelling like nothing that has ever lived on this planet, flora or fauna. The alleged "peach" note in no way smells like the peach in any of the lovely fragrances I have smelled like Killian or Keiko Mecheri. This is just a too sweet musky lemony scent.

In the final drydown it becomes somewhat bearable when actual floral notes of frangipani and magnolia emerge with some nice wood notes, but this is still nothing I would ever wear. I was really hoping for something edgy and cool from Karl Lagerfeld but it was not to be. Don't let the SA's at Macy's spray this on you- you will regret it- believe me!

I agree with Temporalgrace; I'm not a fan of the sickeningly sweet perfumes popular for my age group like Juicy Couture. I don't want to be Flowerbombed or assaulted by a fragrance either. This perfume has a nice clean scent with the white florals, amber and woods to add warmth. It's feminine and sophisticated without smelling old-ladyish. I should also add that I have allergies and asthma that make it difficult to wear just any perfume, and happily, this perfume doesn't agitate my allergies. I smelled it along with others and really enjoyed this scent the most at Macy's. I had to buy it. It's a great spring/summer scent.

i know that this parfume will be in the shops from march,but my vote "LIKE" is REAL just because i had the chance to test it before 10 days.because i work in a shop and i must try everything that i'll offer to my clients in the near future.and this is really really nice!!!
