Lots of ginger, then comes an orange accord that turns into a sweet orangy lemon lollipop. It is too sweet even, yet curious, it all reminds of an old school citric caramels with lots of natural juice feeling.

This is about as close to the smell of real Africa as Tony the frosted-flakes Tiger is to the terrors of the Malaysian rainforest. But it's full of charm and fun nonetheless. I get fizzy orange pop rather than lemon, a tiny bit of ginger and some well-behaved amber - it's much less spicy or spiky than I expected, but so joyful and cheerful you'll hardly care. Lasts up to 3h on me, but does contract drastically after an assertive first 30 minutes, to a skin scent only. So longevity really isn't great, but this is genuinely pleasant.

Delicious! Delicious delight!!! My Afrika!! Thank you to la louve - I hate it when the name of the perfume is misspelt by Fragrantica!!
My Afrika is gorgeous - a perfectly happy sparkling ginger and lemon drink, or cake - or perfume!!! It's so enjoyable to wear! I love it!!! It's yummy!!!

It's like pouring ginger ale all over yourself, feels childish but fun! Very potent first burst but within one hour tops it's all gone, it's one of the most short lasting perfumes I've experienced. Although I don't mind re-spraying, I would have liked some change and development rather than just a disappearing act. Still like it though, it's an unusual and fun scent.

Are you a ginger-nut?
This is a bright, sparkling scent that has a warm zest-&-zing kick of ginger to add oomph to its basic base.
I love Lancome's Benghal for its apricot & ginger jam accord. Krizia offers a different aproach to ginger - ginger redbush tea, a dash of honey & a twist of lemon. Way in the background is an ambery warmth & a sun-dried wood. The lasting power is reasonable & it is, all-in-all, an enjoyable scent.
It has a little link to Benghal & R&G's Gingembre, but Krizia's My Afrika is quite unique.
It is not complicated. It is not pretentious. But it is not to be sniffed at. My Afrika is a lovely scent for those who love ginger. I found it very wearable with an uplifting and sunny disposition. I wouldn't mind a full bottle, in fact.

Guys, for some reason this perfume is identical with L by Lolita Lempicka the fist few minutes, being very sweet. Then it becomes lemony and fresh with some hinds of sweetness still. It's a ....multi-form perfume, :D.

The name of the perfume is: MY AFRIKA !
With K (KRIZIA)! :-)
I got this perfume today and I like the notes very much. Its nearly summertime and I was looking for a special fruity-perfume, now I have it! ;-)
The ginger and lemon is very "prominent" ... smells like "something to eat". Verrrry Yummy, for me!
There is for me a "little" affinity to Liberté (Cacharel), but I like MY AFRIKA better!
Love from Louve! :-)

Strong ginger top-notes - the ginger lingers on in the heart, but then gives way to a spicy-creamy mixture very much in the style of Montana "Just Me". I'd strongly recommend "My Africa" as an alternative to the Montana-scent.
Excellent staying-power included.

Delicious flavor, like just baked perfect lemon cake. But, this is not my idea about Africa :)

sweet ginger-lemon cocktail, a bit bitter, nothing special, but its charm lies in its simplicity.
heat and earth and primitive art is what i associate Africa with.

I love this! Ginger is one of my favorite perfume notes, and it's very well done here. The lemon gives it a zesty kick, then the amber comes into play during the drydown. Great stuff!
