its sickening and it doesnt project at all, It makes my stomach hurt whenever I smell it, it also lasts like 30 minutes before becoming a skin scent

RaggedyAnn

Always grew rhubarb and expected sharper notes but it's a mellow green but green it is with the violet and vanilla disproportionate to me. I don't like it as much as I imagined I would.
Sorry- it's not you, Rabarbaro, it's me.

raiza1990

Really nice. It’s fresh but sensual. It smells old, but in a good way, like something a beloved father or grandfather would wear. It’s pleasant and relaxing. It also has a soft soapy quality to it that i like. Good scent for hot days.

This is one of my favorite spring/summer perfumes ever. I bought it in a small pharmacy in Florence. It is refreshing and blends perfectly with my skin, it is also a perfume that is very subtle but still gets many compliments. It can be combined with several other perfumes, I often combine it with Jardin sur le Nile by Hermes. Overall I would rate it 8/10 because it's a great scent but it doesn't last that long, but I will definitely buy this perfume again!

Eau de salade verte
an ethereal and ephemeral image of a green rhubarb , even lighter than an Eau de Cologne, so inconsistent than even 20€ seems expensive.
perfect for working in an office in Japan surrounded by colleagues allergic to perfume, I guess.
zero interest

Amethystery

Reminds me of childhood when me and my dad used to pick rhubarb spears from the garden to make rhubarb pie. It's the scent of a whole rhubarb plant; massive green leaves embracing the crisp, sourish, fresh fruits. The lasting power is absolutely terrible though, it's more like an eau de cologne than anything. Still, one of the most realistic rhubarbs fragrances I've ever tried. I'll use it as a body mist during the summer months!

GloriaFlo

I really like this one, really fresh and uplifting. Smells really natural as all their products do.
However I should say L'Erbolario (as much as I love their body creams and products) should be honest and not list their fragrances as Eau de parfum, but more like EDT's as the performance is very-very weak. I have tried like 3-4 perfumes, own 2 of theirs and should say, I won't buy anymore as I am deeply disappointed with the longevity.

Fruity, but not overpoweringly so, leans towards more typically masculine but is not harsh. Ever so slightly soapy but thankfully, not much. The black tea wafts out after a while and it is a little peppery on my skin. Would like it a bit more fruity but as it is, I really quite like this one

raw umber

A very green, crisp, tart and bitter leafy opening a little reminiscent of L'Occitane's long discontinued Notre Flore Cedar scent, which transforms into a woody vanilla base. I am usually torn between fresh, invigorating scents, and vanilla-based comfort scents, so for me Rhubarb has it all. I also really appreciate that I can't smell the sweet vanilla until after the fresh tart rhubarb dissipates, because having two scents in one is preferable. If the vanilla was perceptible from the start, I might find the combination of vanilla and bitter green off-putting but here there is a smooth transition from fresh and natural plants, to a soft and sheer vanilla drydown. I can't get enough of this unique scent.

PS- If you are in the U.S. and you want to buy L'erbolario products, they are now officially here! Go to the-herbarium dot com, they are official U.S. L'erbolario retailers! No affiliation, I'm just a L'erbolario super fan giving a shout out. They have brick and mortar stores in Florida and San Diego and their customer service is amazing! I've made many purchases from them and it's always a pleasure. : )

Juicy rhubarb. Very very similar to the Hermes one. It’s acidic and sweet. I used to eat rhubarb straight from the garden, raw. And it reminds me that.

behemotha

Very green and refreshing. I'd like this better on young women, does not smell like a serious person to me. I also spray my home with this sometimes, maybe because of its pricing.

LaContessina

Fresh, green sharp at first spray but soft within 5 minutes.
After the initial very "wake up call" you get some lovely green violet (the flower minus the powderiness) and then the powdery sweet part: vanilla, amber and musk.
Quite fast in its evolution ( 5 minutes neat and you are in drydown phase), but very pleasant.
It's a perfect spring summer scent, modest: sillage barely there, you have to stick your nose to skin to smell it, and very inoffensive, super office friendly. I spray liberally many times a day as longevity is poor.
But a lovely, lovely fresh
The bath line is also superb for summer refreshment (i use the shower gel & body lotion).

Very good take on fresh green notes. Like the iconic Elizabeth Arden Green Tea, but less generic, with more personality.
It´s sharp, clean, and very invigorating - tough, not for everyone. It´s like a splash of cold water in the morning: at first it takes you aback and it´s almost unpleasant, but then you wake up and realize you needed it.
Like most green scents, it works well on my skin. Despite the many notes involved the dry-down is pleasant and fresh: nothing reacts weirdly with my chemistry.
Lasts quite decently, sillage is very good on me.

I used it in a stressful working environment, spatially claustrophobic and saturated with powerful smells. It felt relieving and it didn´t add up to the olfactory chaos.
I bought the small 10ml bottle because I wanted something to store in my handbag (in the morning I´m always in a hurry and perfume is the easiest thing to forget).

Greenness, freshness with the addition of subtle saffron tea notes. The main character - rhubarb is palpable, but it does not dominate. Every ingredient matches with perfectly with another. Unfortunately, the big disadvantage of this composition are fatal parameters. I don't feel anything after 15 minutes and I regret it a lot, because it's a really nice smell of trees, greenery, juicy citrus and a mild tea essence with a balanced note of crisp rhubarb.

adrienn99

The opening is soo nice, fresh, citrussy, tangy but not sour. The frag has an aura too, it projects in arm's length, and only sprayed once. OnlyI'll saying this because many in the genre can go really quiet, esp natural ones, while thisis still going strong after 2 hrs...the drydown is different tho, it's slighhtly sweet and fruity.

soleia

Tested Rabarbaro today and loved it! It is exactly as the previous reviewer describes it: green, sour, fresh.

I was only testing it while choosing a stick diffuser for my living room - and I did get the one from the Rabarbaro range.

In any case, I have already decided that I will be buying it on my next visit to the pharmacy as my new summer "very light" fragrance to spray liberally after the morning shower. Here in Greece, it is marketed as an eau de parfum, but this really doesn't seem to be right. On me it was more like an eau de cologne. Will update on that point once I buy it.

Edit three days later: So of course I bought it - but it is not as light as to be used a body mist. Still not sure it's EdP strength (the packaging does not specify). So I won't be dousing myself in it, but sticking to my regular three sprays - for now. It's really delightful and great for spring.

Babieluv

I absolutely love it! Perfect for spring and summer. Opens very green, sour, fresh. Very rhubarby :) Then musk kicks in, following by violet leaf and cedar and it gets a bit powdery. At drydown rhubarb+citruses join and all together form such a delightful scent. It is a close to skin perfume and longevity isn't the best, which makes me a bit sad. Maybe if you douse in it.
