To me, at fist this smelled nie and sweet, but dried down with some weird patchouli undertone that I didn't like unfortunatelly. Not a bad fragrance but not something I would by again.

This gives me vibes of my ride or die, Hilary Duff's With Love. It's *not* a dupe.

So, Katy Perry's Indi Visible in similar to With Love because it hits that sweet creamy, alcohol-y woodiness. But this Lacoste is similar in that it is sweet-fruity-tropical with that sparkly, slight terpenic/balsamic quality. But, it doesn't have that creamy, butterscotchy, almost lactonic quality.

I'm super happy with this blind buy :) The adorable crocodile is such a plus lol

In the top I get sweet, fresh, young-leaning florals, hints of vanilla, juicy, citrusy, and fruity. Though no one citrus or fruit in particular. If I really focus and concentrate I could maybe pick up oranges. A hint of powder in the background. Love the opening.

Into the middle, it gets a bit soapy but still sweet. It also gets less fresh and more creamy over time. Like creamy body wash.

This soapy/sweet/powdery effect becomes a bit cloying to me by the time I make it to the dry down. It’s not extreme, but it is slightly headachey. But even that mellows out after several hours and it's nothing but a very close skin-scent. Then it's just a sweet musk and quite pleasant.

pinotos802

Sweet and fruity vanilla. Very suitable for hotter weather as it is pretty fresh as well. However I seem to detect this unpleasant and very synthetic note upon initial spray, perhaps it's the heliotrope.

scentiful

I was disappointed by this. I was looking for a dupe for the elusive Nicki Minaj Minajesty Exotic and saw that this had similar notes. This smells like a one dimensional parma violet scent to me, the mango being undetectable.

SaraZigova

Candy. Only candy

thebloff

Very sweet and fruit vanilla.

Based on the perfumes I've experienced this opens up alot like a slightly tart Milk&Honey shower gel and quite similar to the Disney perfume Little Mermaid which smells straight up like a Milk&Honey shower gel lol, loud, sickly sweet and heady due to the tuberose, and possibly honey or something, but the Lacoste creation is just right and balanced. Both have jasmine and Little Mermaid has almond while this one has tonka. Tonka bean is an ingredient that has been used for centuries to add a vanilla-almond note to sweets and custards. So maybe it explains the milky sweet vibe I am getting from this so reminiscent of the Ariel perfume which contains almond. The Lacoste is not a uniform synthetic smell. I detect more than 2 notes at the top, definitely the clementine which I absolutely love as a note, so it is a dimensional perfume, with depth. Perfectly sweet and abit tart, the bottle matches the scent, very sexy perfume. Not much violet leaf, rose or heliotrope, theyre all very discreet. It is lactonic throughout like I said, and I do not pick out much of the patchouli thank God, enough to add abit of subtle spice with the violet leaf and I have to smell my skin close to detect them.

After about an hour it morphs into a seductive vanilla-tonka-jasmine scent alot like a tanning lotion but in a very good way. I definitely consider it in the Crystal Noir league which also to me smells like tanning lotion but that one in a bad cloying way as youre roasting under the sun, heavy notes and stinky Montana 80 sandalwood. This is summery without coconut and can be worn all year round.

Update: "Gollum voice* - "is it soft? is it juicy? what is it?" LOL Well this is both soft and juicy and its definitely like softer tuberose even though its not listed here, but possibly mango, orange and heliotrope give that impression? And so it makes sense why it reminds me so much of that Ariel tuberose/almond/jasmine perfume while this has no tuberose. Even from the sprayer the Lacoste smells like that Ariel perfume(softer). In the "reminds me of" section, people list Jeu d'Amour l'Elixir Kenzo which is tuberose/jasmine in its core, sooo me being a greedy cochon and a tuberose lover, Ill go get me some of the Kenzo too. My body says yes but my bank account says no.
SO many new favs and only 5 spots on the favs shelf.

Warm, fruity and super sweet.

I blind bought this little gem for £14 which is super reasonable. The seller only wanted that for it as the box was damaged, and it was a gift for myself so I didn't care about the outer packaging. It's whats inside that counts, right?

Well, Pour Elle Magnetic is absolutely beautiful! It's a sweet, fruity, sugary bomb on a bed of tonka and vanilla. What's not to like? Opening spray is delicious mango and clementine, candy notes and orange before it mellows down into a lovely, vanillin, soothing base. Think of a bowl of lovely bright fruits drizzled with caramel and vanilla syrup while you sunbathe in a garden on a hot sunny day.

I absolutely love this perfume. Is it ground-breaking? No, sometimes you just want fun little pick-me-up that will get you compliments and make you feel unapologetically feminine.

Pour Elle is bright, sparkling and super sweet and energetic. I'm thrilled with my blind buy and can't wait to see how she blooms in the Summer.

Loved this at first sniff for the ripe mango note my nose captured at the time. The drydown in paper was fruity sweet, good if you like vanilla/tonka. Longevity was abominable. I was ready to get a bottle and just overspray it to work around the issue when I tested a different sample from another store. It was a terrible scent, very sharp and plain citrus akin to laundry detergent, however, with better longevity. Still, it was very scary to think the first and second sniff were technically the same juice. Today I tested a third time and the bad citrus is definitely gone, but there's no mango at all. Just sweet citrus. I doubt the consistency of these batches, and I get a strange feeling due to that mango note I loved so much but can't seem to find in this perfume anymore, no matter where I look for it... so, final verdict: not worth the money, as it is weak and unreliable in terms of scent profile. Still, it is quite likeable unless you're very unlucky. You might be able to pick up the elusive ripe mango note and rock the scent in a hot summer evening, but I lost hope that it's ever gonna be me.

This is a very fruity and candy-like perfume.

As several reviewers has pointed out, it gives an impression of black currant/dark berries even though its not listed among the ingredients.

On me, it smells very fruity initially. After a while, the vanilla becomes rather dominant, while the floral notes appear in the background. There is something heavy about it, when compared to similar fruity scents.

The projection and longevity is impressive, when compared to similar scents. Even when applied very lightly, I can sense it from an arms length away. While the scent changes over time, it lasts all day.

It's a rather safe perfume, in the sense that it is rather generic, but it isn't really my cup of tea.

Cmed

It's a nice scent but the concentration is problematic. I recieved my sample this morning. I applied it and couldn't smell a thing, After my shower this evening I've tried again and,PING, there it is. Ten minutes later, it's gone again. There are some notes there that I use a lot so perhaps that's why I'm anosmatic to it. When I can smell this, I'm getting fruits that are sour and spiced. I really like it.

rihabi

It has some black currant/blackberry vibe, however, I've just seen it has mango, which is strange - I don't find this tropical at all. It's juicy though, sweet and just a little spicy, due to the tonka. Medium sillage and longevity, as expected, affordable price.

My Husband has gotten into the Men's Lacoste L12.12 line lately. They are great colognes for active bodies and warm weather, as you would imagine a sport clothing line would want to provide. So I started looking into the ladies perfumes for summer and active outdoor days. Magnetic caught my eye with the gorgeous magenta colored bottle. Eau De Parfum??? Great! Better chance it can hold up to the weather in North Florida. 2.7oz bottle is the same size as the 3oz Ladies EDT...nice aesthetic for a collector.

The top is as described, orangey/clementine/mango. Reminds me of mixing up a pitcher of orange Koolaid, but in a good way. The heart is aqueous/almond-powdery-jasmine-rose floral sweetened up by the tonka and vanilla. The patchouli isn't crazy, its that good slightly sweet chocolate kind. Will need to wear all day to speak to its sillage and longevity. Glad I purchased it! Great for an active Florida gal like myself :)

Sweet. A little bit fruity but mostly sugary. Very typical. Nothing special. It's not offensive or bad in any way, but neither is it interesting in any way. Smells like fruity vanilla. The kind of fruit is unclear. Muddled, sweet, sugary fragrance.

magdalena81.1

Sweet, berry-like scent and caramel from the tonka bean. On me it´s heavy and some days one spray is too much. The bottle is wonderful.

CosmicSailor

Purchased as a treat for myself just before Christmas. Having read all the reviews, I thought this perfume would be amazing on me. I have made blind buys in the past, but this one was my least successful buys.
Although I have liked the warm and sweet smell of this fragrance, it lasts around 10 minutes on my skin and the sillage is non-existent.
I have given it to my mum who likes it, but she has too commented that it isn't one of the most impressive perfumes.
For an EDP I feel this was very disappointing.

P.S. Bought from Allbeauty, so I know it's not a fake.

Lucky7z

Just finished a sample of this one and I am loving it!

This is a sweet and fruity mango, citrus, vanilla and Tonka bean that's perfect for a spring or summer day/night!!!

Longevity and sillage are both light/moderate on me and I'd love to get a bottle of this!!

gillbert

All in all are mango, tonka bean, vanilla and soft floral, and I agree it is a fruity floral perfume, really sweet like sorbet-ice cream on me and it is definitely for night, winter and rainy day, smell really sexy and youthful, it is not heavy as YSL Black Opium or Tom Ford Black Orchid, so i can put it easily

JEDI 2.0

A sample of this was given to my wife.

From a perspective of smelling it on her, I really like it! So did she, right away; this is the fun and bright type of perfume she loves. It's fruity right away and pleasant, not overpowering at all but then she just splashed a small amount on her arm, spraying it could be different.

Longevity and sillage don't seem all that great, but neither does the price so that's okay. I will definitely try to sneak-purchase a bottle and surprise her with it. =)

Guys: if your girlfriend or wife is an admitted "valley girl/surfer girl" or maybe she's kind of preppie, she'd very likely enjoy this fragrance. There's little to nothing about it that's unlikable, totally safe blind-buy IMO. I'll likely check out more Lacoste's, based on the enjoyable nature of this.

MyersAlice

Oh wow, smells just like the mango sorbet I had the other day. But I don't really think I can smell anything else than just mango. It's still good though, I would probably use this
when i'm laying in the sun in the backyard.

ScarlettX

I like this one a lot! It's the best scent from this line and maybe even the best from all of the Lacoste's perfumes I have tried.
The opening notes are very fruity, I sensed a berry note, that is not mentioned, smelled like black currant or dark grape juice. Also, it reminded me of Haribo's gummy bears a bit.
Just right amount of sweetness and fruitiness. Later the vanilla and tonka bean notes came along, I think it's still very nice smelling. I don't smell mango very well, it's more like a berry scent.
I also like the violet bottle, it's beautiful.
One of the interesting new releases.

Beautiful!! Lovely sweet/sour sweet - fruity, floral, gentle, with earthy patchouli and scrumptious heliotrope. Really creamy and delicious. Lovely. Very sweet, fresh and feminine - very delicious. Gorgeous mango, and vanilla, rose and patchouli - all beautifully blended, and lasts well! 9-10 hours. It gets me lots of compliments, especially from males, and also my children really love the smell! They wear it themselves, a boy and two girls, 6-8yrs old! They think it's yum! Me too, and my hub. It's gorgeous!!

Arlene-Beatrix

At first it's very fruity, a bit sweet and a bit sour. Later it starts to be warm, heliotrope & vanilla scent, sophisticated and smooth. Extraordinary and alluring! It's great for almost every type of the weather.
For me it's just too warm.

bluepumpkin

It's my FAVOURITE colours!!!! Ooohh it's gorgeous!! The bottle!!! I bought it for the bottle. I HAD to have it! It's stunning! The colours send me to 7th heaven!!! Wooo!!

And guess what??? So is the perfume!! Stunning....and glorious!!! Beautiful mango and vanilla and oranges - but the heliotrope!! Gorgeous heliotrope.... it is superb. And the blackcurrant bush yes, definitely that is there, gorgeous. Everything is gorgeous!!! Patchouli, tonka, rose, jasmine!!!! All perfect. So well blended, and on me it lasts beautifully! 10-12 hours and anyway, it's so yummy I love spraying more on every now and then. It's deliciously sweet, vibrant, comforting, sooo sensual, so alluring, so exotic. It's absolutely superb.

And the glorious bottle!!!! (And box!!) Magnificent!!!!

cuncinus

I have it and on me it has quite an unexpectedly good longevity! I get at least 6-7 hours on skin and clothes smell of it even longer. It is sweet but vanilla and mango are nicely blended with orange and clementine so it is not overpoweringly sweet. Very pleasant and fruity but not for little girls, if you understand what I mean. I am quite pleased with it!

ezsuzsannaí

Tested it today. At first I thought, oh, this is nice, very sour and sweet, reminded me of a huge black-currant bush, with the leaves, buds and fruits on it, at the same time. Then it becomes sweeter, at this stage I could call it sophisticated, but then pff, it was all gone, lasting power was sooo short, the yummy scent lasted only 5 mins on my skin. I could say, this reminds me a lot of Lalique Amethyst and Lancome Tresor Midnight Rose (which I put on my other hand, to feel the resemblance, and I really did, but Lancome won the prize anyway, at the end).
