Dominique Ropion and Anne Flipo.

পারফিউম টিতে Lily of the valley একটা green fresh vibe দেয়।

La Vie est Belle en Rose is supposed to be a lighter, fruitier, younger version of the classic La Vie est Belle DNA.

I think they wanted to revive the old formula by throwing a bunch of red fruits into the original mix: raspberries, red berries and a pinch of pink pepper. The rest of the notes are shared with the original LVEB: iris, rose, bergamot, patchouli, sandalwood. There is supposedly a lily of the valley added in the mid notes and peonies. Can’t say I am smelling anything resembling these two delicate flowers in LVEB En Rose version.

Not sure if they aimed at Dior’s audience when they composed En Rose, because the note structure resembles quite a bit with Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming, but as far as I am concerned, Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming is more refined, elegant, natural and the elevated version of this. If that’s the intention, Lancome totally failed with this attempt.

As a standalone scent, it’s a long lasting, slightly synthetic fruity-floral blend, with cold, powdery touches coming from iris, some clean, fresher patchouli and faint traces of sandalwood.
If it weren’t for the artificial/plasticky fruity smell, I would be obsessed with En Rose. I mean, I adore Absolutely Blooming for years…
It gets smoother and less artificial after about half an hour, so the longest time I am wearing this is not very bothersome. But the opening… too much powder and too much pepper!

Long story short, this should either be redone with better raw materials or discontinued. Sorry for being so harsh, but Dominique Ropion is a genius when it comes to perfumery. If the other nose, Anne Fillipo can’t, he surely can do better, smoother, more refined and natural smelling scents!

Performance is great with strong silage. LVEB never disappointed me in that regard. Lasts for days if sprayed on clothing.

La.Nuit.Est.Belle

I guess FRAGRANTICA need to update the listed notes for this LVEB flanker mostly cause of the 2021 reformulation that takes out the raspberry and added a sour orange instead of the bergamot. I passionately loved the original formula but once I finished the bottle and went to the store for another one, the disappointment was huge, as great as my desire to find a few large bottles to have in reserve, but the sour and unpleasant smell of that almost rotten orange was like a kick in the nose for me.
Definitely I will keep the beautiful memory of the 2019 formula (R.I.P.)

If anyone has a bottle of this they want to swap out, I might have something you’d like!! Please message me.

I love the way this smells! But I have some serious questions!! Why is it not available at any Macy’s, JCPenney or Ulta websites, but it’s available on sketchy fragrance websites and Walmart.com for 2 different prices. Is it discontinued? Are those selling it a scam? I’m intrigued but not impressed sadly. I love the scent. I could eat my arm off. The rose? Not really there bless her heart. But the scent fades and does not surround. Probably because it’s an eau de toilette but it smells so good I wish it did :(

Luilind

Quite similar to the OG, a little more floral though. A bit boozy. Longevity is huge, sillage is good. I’ve been getting a few compliments when wearing this.

I was curious about this and ordered a travel-size sprayer--whenever several reviewers complain that the rose in a particular scent is overwhelming or oppressive, I make a mental note to seek it out because I can't get enough rose. I huff it up and hunt for more. Never enough rose for meeee. La Vie Est Belle en Rose is a lovely take on LVEB--and I agree, they should just stop making flankers and focus on entirely new scent profiles, but unfortunately we do not live under a market system that rewards boldness and originality, and it's tedious in the extreme to keep complaining about it--that is different enough from the original to warrant a non-LVEB-related name, although I'm sure no one at Lancome considered this possibility for a second. I don't like LVEB en Rose quite as much as I love LVEB Iris Absolue, or the sample of L'Extrait that I smelled (a kiss of dry oud!), but it's quite good. I like that LVEB en Rose seems to contain less (and perhaps slightly cleaner?) patchouli than the others, but I might just be getting more patch-tolerant in my dotage. Although I probably won't buy another bottle when this decant runs out, I do love the primary note--a fruity, slightly piquant rose that mingles nicely with the iris and gourmand accord from the general LVEB DNA.

Update: This has amazing longevity for an EDT. I sprayed it on a test strip, and it's still going strong more than 3 hours later.

Update: Still perceptible on paper 48 hours later. Amazing longevity, especially for an EDT. On my skin, I like it better than OG LVEB. It seems much lighter on the patchouli. The rose and iris complement each other nicely. This reminds me a bit of Paris-Paris, a Chanel EDT I tested that I liked a great deal. However, the Lancome has much better longevity. Seriously one of the best-performing EDTs I have ever encountered this side of a Liz Taylor White Diamonds flanker.

Cephaelis

Got it as a Christmas gift and my feelings about this perfume are mixed.
Generally I am quite a big fan of rose fragrances so I was literally predestined to love it. However, the rose is empowering here. The opening is too sharp and reminds me of my mothers's old Bulgarian rose oil or some cheap pot pourri perhaps. It is trully the worst face of rose ever. Nothing like gentle yet very recognizable rose tones in Chloe for example.
If you survive the opening, the heart is
more user-friendly although the irritating strong rose accord is still present. But now and then you get the hints of peony and berries.
The dry down is the most appreciable part of this fragrance. It is soft, warm and flowery.
Overall, I can only get along with this scent after some 30-60 min post-application. Which is a pitty.

Katelynl88

The og lveb was my favorite perfume for so long . It’s still up in my favorites but I don’t wear it as much . This smells very similar to the original but a little lighter and with rose . It’s a great flanker really . Same dna with specific little differences

🗣La Vie Est Belle En Rose Edt:
"LIFE CERTAINLY IS BEAUTIFUL IN ROSE"!!

Firstly, This Is My Mother's All Time Favourite NEW Perfume Release Thus Far!! And She Very Much Is A "GUERLAIN LADY/LOVER" As Her Signature Guerlain Perfume Has Always Been Chamade Followed By Nahema!! She Actually Has Already Went Through Her First 100ml Bottle, And Is Already Half Way Through A Smaller 50ml Bottle, And Will Be Receiving Another 100ml Bottle From Me For Christmas This Year!! My Late Father, Also Knew That It Was'nt Her Usual Guerlain Signature Fragrances, Saying "That Is'nt Your Mother's Usual Perfume"? He Could'nt Even Pronounce The Perfume House Guerlain's Name (He Was NEVER One To Really Pass Any Kind Of Remarks Tbh) But Actually Went Outta His Way To Tell Her And Then Me, Just How Good She Smelt, And To Make Sure She Always Had A Back-Up Bottle Of This Available!! Yet To Be Honest, I Don't Think It Smells Anything Special On My Skin, Yet Seem's To Work It's Full Magical Dance On Her (I Gave Her My 100ml Bottle), And Now She's Hooked On It!! My Favourite From This Line Is Most Deffo The "SOLEIL CRISTAL" -The One That Has The Beachy Vibe, Coconut Note In It, As That One Really Seems To Dance It's Full Magic On My Skin, And Has Really Brought Me So Many Compliments, When I Wear It, It's Unreal!! Why Does Lancôme Not Offer This Fragrance As An Edp Rather Than Just An Edt?? As It Would Certainly Be Great If It Lasted A Bit Longer, But Having Said That, It Really Does Smell So Nice On My Mum!! The Rose In This, Certainly Does Make It More Feminine Than The Original La Vie Est Belle Edp, And That Blast Of Fresh Raspberry At The Start Sure Sends A Tingle To The Senses That's For Sure!! Lancôme Perfumes Really Are Brilliant Quality Without A Doubt!! 😍😘💕💗💗💗💗

fauxbeatpoet

I just love it. I didnt like any of the LVEB flankers, not even the OG, but this one is amazing, the rose and the fruits, intoxicating.

bbas

This is my favorite flanker from LVEB line, I think it has the feminine floral vibe that the original LVEB missing, I wish they make this in EDP too. Longevity is not the best since it's EDT.

yanitsvet

If you like the original LVEB, you will also enjoy this one. As you would assume, this flanker is more floral and fruity, not as overwhelmingly sweet as LVEB. I think it might still be too sweet for the summer seasons. I would recommend wearing it in the spring or autumn.

Darling of Disquiet

So the only time I really like an EDT is in the summer. Depending on what it is of course but summer is my time to go for edt's, I'll put it like that. So back in April and March I started to look for summer fragrances that I would like to try and the top two that I came up with for myself were LVEB rose and Tresor nude. I was impressed with nudes sillage and longevity sadly that wasn't the case for LVEB en Rose. It does have times where it seems to stick to my clothing fairly decent but skin? No it just doesn't stick to my skin at all. Sadly this is the only one in this line that I've ever had such a weakness with my experience. I say it that way because it's not weak when you first spray it it seems like it could project strongly and last long but for me it just doesn't. It's an absolutely gorgeous scent and I'm going to finish up the bottle I bought and I'm going to try a couple things to make the legs on it last a bit longer but due to this, I think this would be my least favorite flanker.

imyvet

Today I received the parfume as a blind buy by reading online reviews here and there. The opening was as loud as the familys dna living in the bottle. Later, it reminded of some bottles I finished in 2019. Yves Rocher evidence intense. Better longevity for EDT than what is categorized as parfume intense in Yves Rocher. I own several flankers of LVEB and this one is not a keep for me. Yves Rocher was offered as extra free gifts too

Lotte_Liese

I have to admit that in the opening, I did wonder if they completely hacked the LVEB DNA in favour of a citrus pink floral, I was completely unimpressed.
But I let it dry down, experienced the iris as it arrived to the party fashionably late. Musk and praline sweetness were not far behind. An interesting floral, a lot less sweeter than the OG, but you're going to need patience for this one.

girldeadbug

Tested at Sephora. Smells pretty close to regular LVEB just more tame I guess? Not as syrupy sweet. Interesting. Don’t know if I’d buy.

dandeli0n

Boring nothing special, original is better

ssamhita

Last month for my birthday, for some reason I went down the rabbit hole to gather as many flankers of LVEB as I could. I accumulated the OG, the EDT, the Intense, Intensement, Florale and this one - En Rose. The first time I tried it, I had Florale on one arm and the En Rose on the other, and I was grinning ear to ear. They layer so well together! But then, the next time I tried this was on its own, and I got this powdery candied rose. Like someone candied rose petals and then turned it into a powder - it is airy, not syrupy. The iris and sandalwood lends it that freshness and keeps it from being yet another raspberry-rose. I would know, I have quite a few of raspberry roses in my collection. This is a whisper of a scent, like a beautiful song playing in the background while there's conversation going on. Longevity on me is not the best, but the scent is so pretty I will forgive it.

rangela71

I had to write a review, because I’m so utterly disappointed. I already own 3 of the lveb line: intensement, oui, l’absolu. And I really love them, L’absolu is the absolute number one for me atm. I seem to like the lveb dna, and also wanted a nice rosey scent, so I blind bought this. Well, I shouldn’t have done. It’s just not for me. And I think, that it is not for the women, who love the statement scents. This is not one. I tried it several times, and on my skin is just feels weak, synthetic, cheap and plain, it generates massive headache. You feel like you are wearing some cologne from the dollar shop, almost embarassing. I dont’t detect any berries. Some sourness, yes, for sure. Some rose, yes. Not a hint of sandalwood.
There is no weight, no depth in this perfume. Also not sparkling. No lasting power. So, I don’t know, what this perfume can give me. Can’t even use it as an ambient scent. Waste of money for me.
Sorry. Maybe just on my skin.

xen.lawyer

Though it took me some time, I am so in love with LVEB en rose now. For red fruits lovers for sure, it has the LVEB dna but with the playfull sourness of the fruits. Definitely a summer to fall fragrance, I am so happy I was given as a present and discovered a gem by accident.

meow_83

An unfortunate consequence of reading about and seeking out perfumes for 15 years is that I rarely am surprised. So imagine my excitement tonight when I sprayed en Rose on my hand and liked it so much I knew I had to have it!

I don't hate the original La Vie est Belle the way some do. My days working at a cosmetics counter taught me that it is the one and only perfume for some women. But in an era where "smells like LVEB" is a loaded phrase with a variety of meanings, I could feel neither the love nor the hate that others feel for this perfume.

en Rose changed all that. I'm always looking for juicy berries in perfume, and en Rose has plenty. The rose note for me can be made or broken by the composition surrounding it, and in this case it's a rose I love. As en Rose dries down, it leaves behind the original LVEB but lighter. Like another reviewer wrote, this could be good or bad depending on your perspective. LVEB has always registered as dirty to me - again, not necessarily a bad thing! - but I appreciate the dirty patchouli drydown being just a little lighter. As late summer hints to us that fall is not far away, I'm going to enjoy wearing this mix of late summer sweet berries and rose petals atop the original praline accord. I'm craving a cappuccino as I write this. :)

I'm so glad I stopped to sample a perfume that a bit of a snob like me would normally pass right by.

sonialamar

Love, love, love this fragrance. I have the OG LVEB also, but I'm a rose lover so I prefer this one. This one obviously has the addition of rose in it, but it's also missing the patchouli element that's pretty noticeable in the OG. It doesn't last as long as the OG on me. I wish the performance was a little better, but that doesn't make me like it any less. In fact, I like this frag so much that I don't mind having to reapply after a while. The rose in this is just beautiful- it doesn't smell old fashioned to me. This is light enough to be worn anywhere, office safe, etc. BUT-- I still wear it on date night because it's lovely, but not too prim and proper. Also, it's not overly sweet.

Mia-Marleen

Lovely rosy-raspberry scent. It is very classical, not sweet at all. I can wear it in winter and also in summer. More daytime and office friendly. Noticeable, because I´ve got a few compliments while wearing this.

Yessamin

Let optimism colour your world with this ethereal EDT's light blend of peony and rose.

AlinaCretu12

This is a rose variation of the original. It is not as sweet as the original, and it lacks the deepness of the original one, but it is a good release and could be better for warmer days. Good for lasting.

Rosier33

Lovely smelling every day perfume. Nice and subtle for work but doesn't last long on me after a couple of hours it's almost gone and I need to top up through out the day.

nmassie

So boring, and not that great of a scent. Almost reminds me of a cleaning solution mixed with cheap body spray. Weak projection, mediocre lasting power. Smelled stronger and slightly better layered with iso e super(molecule 01), but still, really boring and forgettable. I remember the regular one smelling much better, so if you're trying to decide which to blind buy, just go with the standard La Vie Est Belle.

Murmur123123

I like LVEB and have a few from the LVEB line. This one upon initial spray is a "typical" berry+rose scent, quite cheerful and easy to use. After about 20-30min I am left with the sweet DNA from LVEB, but much softer than the original LVEB -this could be a plus or minus depending on how you look at it. I can see it having a place in my collection, but strictly speaking it is not necessary...

angelala

Upon first impression this smells like a mixture of flowers, juicy fruits, and honey. It's pleasant but has something in it that irks me slightly. It's a bit powdery like La Vie Est Belle Intensement but more fresh and good for the warmer months.

LSAUG

This is such a boring fruity floral. A sad rose and a very sad peony. Very synthetic smelling. There are much better fruity roses out there for better price points. This is a dupe for Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming, they both smell the same and they both are boring and as fake as hell.

Sherry_

It was kind of like love at first sight. I feel like there's a locum in it, and it won't. Is it due to the many roses?

Celinasusu

The raspberry is the dominant note here because while wearing this someone told me "mmmm you smell like raspberries"

Tessa03

To my nose this smells almost identical to Valentina Pink. I own Valentina Pink therefore this is redundant in my collection. Bummer as I was hoping for more of the original LVEB DNA in this one. It is still a very pretty fragrance. Well suited for most people in most situations and seasons.

glitterizer

I am so sick and tired of pink pepper note everywhere oh my goddd give it a REST
*ahem* As soon as that fades away, this is lovely!

It is almost identical to Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming, with raspberry and rose dominating above all else. With that said, this one smells more chic and, contradictory as it may seem, both fresher and creamier. I think this is due to the rose being way more prominent and the (not listed) distinctive praline accord I get, while Absolutely Blooming is more downright fruity-syrupy and synthetic smelling. Still, I would say they are 90% similar.

DiscoPolga

The opening is delicious! I cannot detect the individual notes, but it smells like milky raspberry ice cream. The sweetness isn't juicy, but creamy. Rose is prominent in the first few minutes, but then it's there in the background - which was a surprise, as I expected this to be a rosey bomb. The heart & drydown are more similar to the original LVEB, which is a shame - as the opening is wonderful and unique.

snowlover5

this is such a nice sweet scent and i love it so much. it doesn’t have any notes that seem overly sweet but it really smells gourmand to me. it does give me headaches occasionally. i would classify this as a special occasion perfume, maybe for dates or other events, not really suitable as a signature for me but i did wear it it my high school prom a few years back. my boyfriend at the time even noticed my perfume and said he loved it, and he didn’t even notice when i chopped off half a foot of my hair, so that definitely says something about this. it’s a wonderful scent that will get you compliments, but it also might give you headaches

Ajaycheshire

I'm not keen on the original, but this one has hooked me in. It's less cloying and sugary sweet. Fresher and rosier. It's actually a nice ' sweet ' perfume for an older woman raised on Chypre! Nice for everyday, not offensive. Edit... it's been a week now and I've been going for this rather than all my others atm. I keep getting compliments! Especially off my husband who never comments. I have many more sophisticated and expensive perfumes, but this seems to grab the most attention. I'm going to buy the edp as I'm liberally spraying the edt . A very pleasant surprise. I'm glad I've got something a bit more modern. I'm very pleased.

Rozan

The en rose version is lighter, without tonka, enriched with delicate flowers, juicier, not as spicy as LVEB EDP, but the LVEB DNA can be felt from start to finish. For me, it is a mixture of flowers and fruit with sweet musk on patchouli, wrapped in a powdery iris. A very good composition with good performance parameters. Feminine, elegant, sweet. I recommend the tests.

VioletOrchid

Perfectly addictive concoction 💖 the flowers complement each other like nothing else. Iris here is such a beauuuuuuutiful powdery twist without becoming a Kenzo flower-esque scent. It’s a potent juice on my skin which tends to eat up perfume. I was afraid it’s going to be just as sweet as the rest of them, but this one is perfectly balanced thankfully. This my favorite la vie est belle flanker of them all.
To me, it does not bare much resemblance to miss Dior absolutely blooming which is far sweeter in the dry down.

amelia.g

My favourite out of all the La Vie est Belle "children" I've tried so far (bearing in mind that I hate the original, but some of the flankers are so different from it I always find them worth a try).

This a very fresh, bright, only mildly sweet take on rose. It's like an interpretation on pink rose, from the stems, to the leaves, up until the petals. It has a sparkly citrus opening, a light floral heart with emphasis on the peony and a soft musky drydown.

It's a very modern composition that feels geared towards a younger market, but I also think it's a pretty ageless perfume that would suit a teenager as well as a woman in their 70s. A perfect spring scent, and a relatively safe bet for those who like fresh floral perfumes.

The only issue I have with it is its poor longevity (it lasts about 3 hrs on my skin), which makes reapplying a must.

RainbowGirl

This is my most favorite rose perfume. This is a sweet raspberry rose. Love this smell so much! In the dry down, I thought I smelled vanilla....so imagine my surprise when that note was not listed on fragrantica. The patchouli is light, making the rose smell fresh. The heavy patchouli is why I am not a fan of the original La Vie Est Belle. It's such a popular fragrance, and the notes sound delicious, but I have tested it on my skin twice... and I am just not a fan. But this En Rose flanker is perfection. A freshly picked rose, with sweet delicious raspberry. Fresh, but also warm. I love this from start to finish.

The bottle is special. A delightfully two toned pink heavy glass bottle, with a classy pink bow.

Sarsoura141

Love this, Finally found my signature scent! It is rosey and yet warm at the same time, such a beautiful everyday/ night fragrance. I sprayed only one spritz on my wrist last night and Everyone in my family was asking me what I have on. Silage for eau de toilette is incredible

thescented_mrs

This one is beautiful! To me straight off the bat, this scent is like caramelized or candied rose petals! Absolutely stunning!

I have no clue what the OG LVEB smells like (yes I know! What rock have I been living under right? ;p) but I have heard that it could get overbearingly sweet. Now this flanker works amazingly in hot, humid weather and I'm pretty sure in cool crisp weather too (I live on a tropical island so winter/fall is non existent) without getting cloying. Also it's perfect for anytime of day and very versatile. It leaves a beautiful trail behind you and for sure people can smell you when you enter a room. I could definitely see this becoming a signature scent.

As the reviewer below has mentioned, I do also agree that this is a very romantic scent!

Longevity - 6hrs or more
Sillage - Good
Projection - Good

carlahoffman

I really like this nothing like the original thank goodness!! The fruit gives this a bright juicy opening that is nice not too sweet at all just a nice opening to the floral boutique with the rose dominating with a nice projection. That makes it nice and pretty, not too sweet or overpowering.

Could even consider this a romantic scent that my husband loves to smell on me. A pretty well balanced perfume that is long lasting that works good for day or night use. A happy scent that makes me feel good about owning a bottle. A good buy for Rose lovers which I'am.

KBreckenridge

Smells like roses and gumdrops. It's nothing like the original, thankfully. I am not a huge fan of very sweet scents, but this is beautiful.

stefani valini

In the opening I perceive roses, lily of the valley and peoney. The dry down is similar to LVEB Intensément (rasberries, berries and musk), beautifull scent.

LisaMari

I thought I had already written this review but its not showing.. so, here goes again - I was surprised to like this as I hate the original but this scent is totally different - a bright floral with musky berries and roses, a light powdery veil of iris and sprinkling of lily-of-the-valley - green and youthful, similar to jasmine - in this it reminds me Mon Guerlain Bloom Of Rose but here the rose is much more prominent and lasting.
Its warm and feminine, there's something classical about it but not old fashioned - a timelessness and it does not remind of the original La Vie es Belle at all, I find that one far too sweet and unorginal

dimitrowa.s

This is a sweet raspberry rose scent - very light, happy and office friendly. Not too flowery, not too sweet, not too fruity, just the right balance.
I also prefer it to the original which has just too much sugar for my taste.

Eva.s 123

More I wear it, more I like it. I definitely prefer it over the original, which is in my opinion too strong and overwhelming. That one is more smooth, fresh and office friendly.
In the opening sweet rose is very prominent, in the dry down it become very similar to original.

Aeris

So I was thinking this would smell amazing with some added chocolate and vanilla. I sprayed on some Vera Wang Princess to go later with this. OMG was it a magical, mouthwatering combo..
So romantic. Dark patchouli rose with chocolate/vanilla, and a guava/raspberry swirl. Mmmm.

Decode

I love this one! I like fresh roses and this one fits the bill without being too floral. Like several reviewers have already said, it smells like a sweet candied rose. It's definitely similar to the original LVEB but this one is lighter and a little more classy. This is one of the few scents in my collection aside from my bath and body works stuff that I would describe as happy. I only wear this one when I want good vibes and want something that makes me feel happy and classy without feeling cheap.

Aaaareee

This is a beautiful scent, is sweet but not cloying like LVEB. I usually don't like flower notes but this is done so well, with fruits and sweet notes that make it yummy. With that being said, I feel like it smelled too elegant for me so last christmas I gave it to my fav aunt (100 ml EDP, I heard the EDT doesn't last as long as this one). Honestly, this and L'Éclat (that is a little more citrusy) are by far better than LVEB.

Wiktoriaaaz

I’ve seen lots of reviews here saying If you don’t like original LVEB you won’t like this etc etc, NOT TRUE!! This is very different, a nice, sweet, classy, throw on scent. LVEB is generic and childish.

Hate it, absolutely love this one. Don't take those comments seriously at all.

fyetan

Fruity raspberry rose. Sweet floral and sweet fruit, doesn't feel like a LVEB flanker as I don't smell any praline or patchouli, which is what the original is all about.

It's easy to like, but there are SO many raspberry roses on the market! Try Lancome Tresor Midnight Rose for a jammy one, Nina Ricci L'Extase for a caramel one, Nina Ricci Rose Extase for a bright one, Estee Lauder Modern Muse Le Rouge for a creamy one.

Wiktoriaaaz

This is fruitier Giorgio Armani sí, I love sí, so this is a fruity younger and sweeter version of it, it even has that boozy aspect to it, the champagne vibe I get in sí is here too. Yum!

Ps. I hate original LVEB abut love this so take that as you will

arqnataliaferrer

I received a sample of Idole and put it in my bedside table. Every time i smelled it i used to think "oh god this is a good rose" but Idole is terribly overpriced in my country right now. Then came out LVEB en Rose on sale, bought it without hesitate, and i have the same rose than Idole.
You want the rose, you get the rose.
Also, less patchouli than other versions of LVEB, its a plus for me since patchouli sometimes gives me a trashy vibe or a old lady vibe.
It can be a good perfume for those who haven't a sweet tooth

anouks

This perfume reminds me of every perfume that relatives bought for me while I was growing up. Sweet and floral yet fresh, gone in an hour - a fragrance akin to children's play makeup. With so many rose perfumes coming out, you could say this has not won "the war of the roses" in my book. Maybe if you're into fresh, youthful edts, this could be a winner.

Christie-Jack

After reading plenty of reviews about la vie est belle florale being the supposed best version of the many versions launched I took the plunge and bought it, I also bought en rose version.
My verdict; florale is OK and that's giving it a over generous compliment. However, this bad boy is absolutely magnificent and I just wish I had bought 2 of these instead.
I don't do fragrance top, middle, bottom post mortems, I love many fragrances but couldn't define any one ingredient.
For me it comes down to, soapy, talcy, flowery, spicy, fruity, leathery, woody... I'm not entirely sure where this fits in so the obvious would be flowery with hidden depths, possibly a powdery element. It matters not, this fragrance is utterly magic, a head Turner, a trail blazer.. The kind of smell that you would want to smell 24/7

agj

Very pleasant, feminine, everyday perfume. Reminds me a lot of the l'eclat flanker but I really enjoy all of the LVEB releases for an easy throw on perfume.

Annemarie

I've been teetering on the brink on this one, nearly bought it just as things were locking down pre-COVID-19. I thought it might make a good comfort scent. I like the idea of it and it is essentially a sweet pretty rose, very feminine. Ultimately for me en Rose is still burdened with too much of the praline note in the original LVEB, especially in mid-development. I like the sillage better than the scent on skin. As others have said, longevity and sillage are moderate. There is some subtlety in this one, which can't be said for the original. Anyway, I resisted and I'm glad I did. Maybe I'll catch it at the discounters when it is d/c, as I expect it will be. Not something I'd pay full price for.

Coffeeandroses

This perfume is a fantastic flanker, far more pleasing than the OG LVEB. This one is a good office scent as it isn’t offensive, projection and silage are excellent. It was my signature For most of 2019. I found it adequate for all the seasons too.

MarianB

Lovely sweet roses and I smell them the whole day around me. Not headache sweetness, just very nice and romantic like a walk in a rosegarden. I don't like LVEB the original but I love this flanker

diana2015

This is a fresh interpretation of LVEB and, IMO, it's what the LVEB line was missing. It's a bright fruity-rosy fragrance, sweet in a lighter way than the original LVEB, and I love it.
It does have the original LVEB's DNA, but I think you might like this flanker even if you don't like the original.

The only flaw here is the longevity - only about 3 hours on my skin. I tested it several times, and each time the longevity was disappointing on me. That's a shame, because the fragrance is beautiful, romantic and uplifting, more so than the other flankers in this line. I wish they made this version an EDP.

LightOfJoy

You know how a flanker is released and you think, "This could have been a stand alone!"? This is not one of those :)

This is for die hard La Vie Est Belle lovers. It's sliiiightly more fresh and rosy than the original, but based on recent memory (not side by side comparison) it's not terribly different than the sweet pillar fragrance.

sarah.brooks.1

5000 versions of this beautiful ultra feminine collection lancome give us more.. I like it very much
And I saw a new version of la vie est Belle but I'm waiting for fragrantica to add it to the base and it looks very naughty and high end I can't wait to smell it .

auroramaria

I love LVEB and ha e all the flankers except for En Rose.I feel like this line has too many flankers already and En Rose could be just one too many and I don't enjoy it as I find it very dull and generic

Victoria Regia

Sweet roses. Dries into raspberry turkish delight (jelly candy). Photorealistic.

There are only two versions of La Vie est Belle that I enjoy - this one and L'Absolu. I highly dislike all the others. This one, however, is very pretty.

Review of La Vie est Belle

Sorry I can't add review of La Vie est Belle on its site so I will review it here :)

There was a time I hated sweet scents, but something changed, I can't stand florals anymore, they are too vague, insipid, make me feel sick. I need something stabile now.

La Vie est Belle is really a very sweet scent, it starts with vanilla/cotton candy/praline sweetness, there is no room for anything else but sweetness. After 5 minutes I see a small sparkle of something intriguing citrusy? black currant buds? Coco Mademoiselle? in the sweet monolith. Like a girl looking through the keyhole of huge sugary door into another magic world: womanity made of patchouli, black currant leaves, red wine - elegant classy flirty. Like an adult woman leaving sometimes her strenght behind the sweet door of inner child.
Very long lasting!
One of the best sweet perfumes I know.

Jacklyn's Perfumery

This is a lighter LVEB with just a rose note mixed in. So it's still packed with citrus, iris and vanilla. It's stronger than most EDT's but still on the lighter side with it lasting 3-5 hours. It smells great. I don't know that it's much easier to wear as the LVEB line is intense in sillage but I love that sort of thing. I would think most would love this and the bottle is so pretty, sleek and tall.

Cherrybubble

I sampled En Rose this afternoon. What a delightful scent. Scrumptious rose with a touch of delicate sweetness and sophisticated fruit. I find LVEB far too heady, makes my head thump but this is lovely fresh and light.
Dont be put off by the notes listed if you're a more mature fragranista, it's put together well and not at all 'girlish'. Yeah yeah, so it's not groundbreaking, smells of metal or has unicorn farts but it's absolutely lovely!

LanaBella90210

Such a wondrous and sweet rush of roses. What a beauty.

octobertragedy

I like the original LVEB, but I LOVE this one. Probably because I love rose notes.
This fragrance has such a beautiful blast of roses, it's crispy, sparkly and bubbly like champagne. Also, love the patchouli notes that are not so loud as in the original one.
Honestly, I find it quite different than LVEB. This is a big plus for me.
On the other hand it is very close to other big houses fragrances like YSL' Mon Paris, Givenchy's Very Irresistible and Armani's Because of You. I can also relate it to Lancome's newly launched Idole.
It's a juicy sweet floral, safe, clean, feminine fragrance with a very good performance.

JacquieDS

Very similar to LVEB Original edp but not as dirty. I love LVEB so I naturally like this but its too similar for me to get. Rather get Eclat.

dezaval

Classy, rosy-chic gourmant fragrance. Perfect for spring mornings and nights. Lovely!

ArtDecoStyle

If you love the smell of rose-flavored Turkish delights, La Vie est Belle en Rose would be a great choice. It's more floral and fresh in the opening, but as it develops, it shows that it's a member of LVEB family.

tessiebee

I love this. I'm not one for ladylike or delicate however this is an exception.

This is just a really *pretty* fragrance, the quintessential Julia Roberts.

It's bubbly, zesty, not too sweet and the rose is almost dewy and not overblown. It makes me think of Rose petals steeped in Kir royale (champagne and blackcurrant liqueur). Safe enough for work, for me the scent lasts ages but as a skin scent so not overpowering. I don't much like the original LVEB but this is one of few Full Bottles I own.

Decadence85

It's like LVEB edt gets an edt of its very own! Because the edt version performed like an edp in its own right. I Wore this to work today and I feel it's a good office friendly perfume, and if you like the original or the edt but don't want something too suffocating, this is it. I think I like it better than flowers of happiness or the L'Eclat range.

Judith Esquirba

Lovely, sparkling, candied pink roses and raspberry with the original LVEB dna... light on the patchouli, (original LVEB has lots more patchouli!) So it’s a fruitier, lighter, less patchouli version of LVEB. Very pretty!!!

DarlingNikki

@Balletflowers: I was just thinking the same thing and wondered if anyone else got the similarity. The difference for me is that the patchouli isn't as dirty smelling to my nose as in the original Mon Paris. This actually smells like a mix of Mon Paris Floral and Mon Paris Couture to me and I like it. The patchouli is noticeable (to a patch-hater like me all patchouli is noticeable), but not in a dirty, unwashed way. It actually smells kind of sexy on me, LOL. The dry down smells mature, earthy and musky with a hint of lingering sweet red berries on my skin. I won't buy a full bottle of this at retail price, but if I can find a good deal online, I'll snatch it up.

Balletflowers

Smells EXACTLY like Ysl Mon Paris & I love it

roxannaxx

Raspberry and rose accord; nice enough, but nothing special. My experience was that the staying power was very weak (yes it's an EDT, but still) it only lasts maybe 1 hour max.
If you are into a classic raspberry and rose combination, opt for Lancome tresor midnight rose instead.

DarlingNikki

This one smells promising to me and my fingers are crossed that the sample I'm getting performs as nicely as the tester bottle I tried at Ulta today! I love the original LVEB except for the horribly strong patchouli note in it and I've tried the flankers without success. The bottle of this flanker initially attracted me and I sprayed a nice amount on my arm, bracing myself for the patch in the dry down. Well, the patch is there, but it is subdued to the point that I think I can tolerate it--the sample and time will tell, but I'm hopeful. As an aside, I was also testing Dior Addict Eau Fraiche in the pink bottle (2014 I believe) and it actually smelled very nice mixing with LVEB ER--seems like the citrus and musk of DAEF balanced out the red berry/rose/fruitchouli vibe of LVEB ER quite nicely.

Mrswallflower

Candied Roses and berries in a sparkling champagne like background. I definitely smell the original in this but I find this version much more enjoyable to my nose. I love the sweetness in it. Whenever I wear this I always get a whiff of something that smells so good and then realize it is the perfume. It is much more wearable and beautiful than the original in my opinion. It doesnt last as long as I would like but I will just reapply when needed. I wish I could find it in a rollerball to carry in my purse.

PerfumeKing14

I really like this version as I do with all the other versions but I find it hard to pick out the rose on me, it’s more a sweet raspberry scent rather than rose on me personally but I don’t mind because it’s lovely. It has quite good lasting power same as all the others in this line. If you like anything from the LVEB line you’ll enjoy this, it isn’t a game changer but it’s very nice, glad I have it.

Rose du soir

A typical Lancôme gourmand, more candied fruit than rose. Opens with candied raspberry as a main note, and sweet rose in the background to add some nuance to the fruit. The fragrance slowly evolves to praline, intermediate between La Vie Est Belle and La Nuit Trésor, but lighter than both. It's quite close to La Nuit Trésor Caresse, but fruitier and not quite as complex. The praline note sticks to skin and clothes for a long time.
I agree with Stephanieklein's review, this isn't a rose-centric scent, it's a sweet chocolatey raspberry, with a bit of candied rose as a top note. If you like La Vie Est Belle or La Nuit Trésor but want a lighter version for warm weather, or you find these two a bit too strong, try La Vie Est belle En Rose.

NessS

I'm finding myself to be more and more in to rose scents and the rose in this is delicious. I’m not a fan of the other LVEB scents but this one is quite different for me from the others. Really like the top and middle notes - fresh fruity, softly sweet rose. However, the dry down is similar to the other LVEB flankers and LVEB original and I’m not a fan. Albeit this one is not as intensely cloying as the original. Think it may be the iris that I don’t like orperhaps the patchouli.

4-ho-met

It smells like it should be a flanker of nuit tresor, rather than LVEB. Much better than the original, imo, which I don't like. The rose really helps balance the sweetness so that's it's not sickeningly sweet like the original, but it's still super yummy. Much yummier to me actually. The gourmand-rose-patchouli theme has been done many times, but this one is actually pretty good. Very jammy, toffee, kind of a sparkling sugar effect. Nice. It's also very berry-musky, which I don't like so much. I love musk but for some reason Lancome's musk doesn't sit right for me, especially with berries, which I don't tend to love in perfumes. Probably wouldn't buy a bottle, but I haven't tried it on my skin yet. I do like it enough to get a sample. A solid flanker, not just another slightly altered and rebottled LVEB. At least worth checking out if this style of perfume appeals to you.

ZoeRight

If you like La Vie Est Belle and roses... you will like this.

Cathped

Sweet and musky. A little bit rose maybe in the beginning. Nothing special this one.

MoreScentsThanDollars

A beautiful version of my beloved, The original La Vie Est Belle, A must try if you love La Vie Est Belle Edp and seek a slightly fruity, rosey, floral twist.
If you don't love Belle Edp I'd probably not bother with this one as its very much in the same vain as the true La Vie Est Belle, It's not something completely different like for example the L'Eclat (that I don't like at all) that smells nothing like the original Belle.
This is Belle in a white, rose floral print dress. 💖

mihaela_dana

I like it more than the original one!

Christina8910

This is my first Lancome perfume. I have tested the original La Vie est Belle and the original Tresor, and I disliked both. I received a sample of La Vie est Belle en Rose as a sample and was surprised at how much I loved it.

Initial spray is a blast of red berries. I would say this a very red berry-forward fragrance. The musk and patchouli carry the rose scent throughout the dry-down, and the berries slowly dissolve. It is syrupy and fruity-sweet. This does not contain the typical sweet gourmand notes that put me off. La Vie est Belle en Rose is not a rose garden or watery rose fragrance, it is far fruitier than floral.

For an EDT, this is a very powerful fragrance on my skin. I get a solid 5-6 hours of wear, with faint trances close to the skin for another hour or so. I plan to wear this year-round.

For reference, the fragrances in my rotation are Coco Mademoiselle, Alien, Le Imperatrice, and Saint by Kat Von D.

stephanieklein

I wanted to love this. I wanted even to like it. I'm a huge rose lover and have been on the hunt for a POWERHOUSE ROSE, and I had my fingers crossed with hope on this one. The open is promising. You walk the store, fanning the tester strip. "Ooh, that's pretty." And you spray a wrist. Big mistake. Huge.

LA VIE EST BELLE EN ROSE obliterates any real rose notes in favor of candy/patchouli/fruit fake note. Whatever that DNA is, it's inescapable, which is a great thing if you're a lover of LVEB, but horrid news if you're looking for a rose to love. I hope this helps other rose lovers.

Dort0625

While shopping yesterday I noticed a gift with purchase/spring bonus bag for Lancôme and I asked the gal how much I need to spend to get the bag...she says “45 dollars, but since the promotion ended yesterday I will let you have it if you spend like 42 dollars” I definitely snickered to myself I eventually got her down to 30 dollars, while I was looking around the Lancôme section I came across this perfume. Now, I will say that I absolutely 100% can NOT stand the original of this, or ANY of the other ones that I have smelled since, but for some reason I decided to give it a sniff. I was....surprised, like in a good way!!! It’s not my new go to or favourite perfume but I do actually like it. I literally only spritzed one spray on my wrist and what was great was that I smelled it the entire rest of the day. I wouldn’t say any rose notes jumped out to me at all, and I can’t even begin to dry to describe what this smells like, but it’s nice. I would say it’s a heavy, fully loaded perfume with a heft price tag-which I do understand since you need only a very small amount, it won’t be anything I would EVER buy at full price, I wouldn’t mind having a roller ball of this to use in the fall and maybe even into winter. Okay...sorry for the novel of a review that doesn’t even really describe what it’s like lol but if anyone out there is like me that hates the original, finds it repulsive and prefers green, fresh, fruity summery perfumes than you may dig this! Lol

Maurie64

Lovely addition to the LVEB line from Lancome. I adore the original LVEB but would never think of wearing it in warmer weather. This new flanker proves worthy to be worn in warmer weather. I can see this fragrance being enjoyed by many, maybe not young high school girls, but to each his own. It is LVEB with a perfect soft rose added in, without screaming "rose perfume". I would say that the Tresor Midnight Rose has more of a rose scent than this one, but I enjoy that one as well. I do not care how many people wear LVEB....it is a classic winner and this new LVEB en rose keeps the perfume line on top of its game. There have been several other perfumes with "rose" added to the line and they did not turn out as well as this one. Mon Guerlain couldn't pull it off in my opinion.

Angelicax1

I. WANT. THISSSSSSSSSS.

SailorV

I’m not a big fan of the regular LVEB, not a true hater either, but it’s so overused here by so many women that I don’t really want to smell it anymore at the moment. Nevertheless I tried this new flanker when I got a sample of it. I will join those who say this is lighter and more wearable than the original, and also those who say it has a similar vibe to Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming.

LVEB En Rose smells like icy red berries, pink roses and peonies, iris powder, a hint of patchouli, creamy sweetness and LVEB DNA. I like how sweet and cold aspects are combined in this, the berries and florals are nicely blended, but there‘s also something prickly here that I don’t enjoy, the same thing that I often smell when others around me wear LVEB.
If you love LVEB + fresh roses, you can’t go wrong with this, but my overall impression of this is that it smells pretty nice, but too much like a mixture of popular accords without any new twists or highlights.

scentnut

I am a huge Lancome fan particularly the LVEB versions beyond the original as they are all lovely in their own way. Lancome quality is usually top notch as well. As luck would have it one local store JUST got a sample bottle and I sprayed it on my wrist. OOPS out came way too much and I thought "oh no it's a LVEB I will regret this." However, the generous spritz has barely yielded a scent three hours later. I literally have to put my nose down to my wrist to smell it, so sillage is pretty weak. It's still there but sits VERY close to the skin. I've smelled this before and I think it could be a sister to Oscar de la Renta Extraordinary on the drydown (which I love btw but it has the same longevity and sillage issues). The bottle is actually much prettier in person, the peony is lovely, and if you're looking for something floral, VERY soft, and day/office friendly this will work for you. I was just expecting a little more...something from this one. I personally don't want to reapply every 2-3 hours to keep smelling my perfume. Right for some just not right for me. To each their own. :)

P.S. the Lancome sales associate asked me how I even KNEW about the release and I told her about this site! She herself had not even seen the commercial yet.

Edit: I sampled this almost a week ago and caught a whiff of it on the sleeve of the sweater I wore that evening. I’m not sure if it’s my skin or I grew used to it quickly but apparently it sticks to clothing well. The dry down is a manageable level of the original’s. The opening has too much raspberry for me personally but that may be a draw for others. Definitely worth a sample buy to live with it a few days.

Venusta

I've tested this several times and can say that unfortunately my skin eats this up in only 2 hours.

That's a shame because this scent is really pretty. It's a feminine sweet fruity floral that's not too sweet. Perfect for daily wear. I would purchase a bottle if it lasted a little longer.

stephanieklein

Satisfies a sweet tooth, but this is by no means a rose scent, any more than Chloe or Stella are. That is to say, any fresh or real rose is obliterated by other (pleasing) notes. It smells sweet and pretty girl, like a Juicy Couture fragrance.

silent_hill_dylan

I've had the pleasure of trying this over the past few days and I have to say, it is magnificent!
Fresh florals and sweet berries, Lancome are still the true masters of blending ingredients.
I have never tried the original LVEB so I can't compare how it rivals as a flanker - as a stand alone fragrance however, En Rose is overflowing with poise and charm. It's fun and happy without at all feeling childish or immature.
As with most Lancome fragrances, the longevity is incredibly impressive and the sillage is strong to moderate.

JenJones28

Oh my goodness I love this! It rivals my all time love, Chance Eau Tendre.

DarlingNikki

I am so scared to spend money on a sample to try this (I love the original LVEB except for the horrific patchouli note that devours the sweet goodness of it on my skin), but the more reviews I read, the more tempted I am. I've been on a sample spree and so far, have only had luck with one that elicited a 'meh' reaction from me--all others were chucked immediately into the trash (a common fate for most recent releases these days). Now I see this and I'm soooo tempted! Ah, what the heck. I think I'll pull the trigger! Can't be any worse than anything else I've gotten and tossed! LOL! Will come back and edit when I receive it! Fingers crossed for that awful patch note to be toned down to tolerable!

ismellsogood

Absolutely lovey, big strong sillage, sweetened perfectly , very fantasy like sweet floral perfume. I have to say I enjoy this over the original. The bottle design is pretty too.
If you found the original too heady, patchouli and syrupy, this la vie est belle rose Is fresh, sweet, moderate longevity and so pleasant to wear. I notice there isn’t any vailla in the notes which may mean the juice wont turn to amber! Hurrah!

JuliaQueen

I like the original on others but not on myself because the cassis note is very headache inducing for me. This new one, however, is lovely. It's a very summery, light, sweet fragrance. It reminds me of a mix of Miss Dior and Mon Paris but fresher. I still love Miss Dior more but I also love the subtle rose, raspberry and pink pepper scent of this en Rose EDT. I got it for cheap so I'm super happy :)

Auragin

Love, Love, Love! It lasts just as long as the original, and is a sweet rosy/berry jump sideways from LVEB. The strength gets me through long days at work, and when it rains, the scent gets even stronger. On me, it is a luscious, long-lasting rose with some sass.

ChocolatesAndHoney

I'm a bit biased when it comes to rose fragrances, because I love roses. I really enjoy the original LVEB so I was keen to try this one out.
It's a well-made blend of fruits and roses but still manages to keep the softness of the original. Nevertheless, it lacks the balsamic note and the praline sweetness. The sweetness in LVEB En Rose is more fruity, fresh and summery. This is definitely going to be my next purchase!

MixedTastes

Riddle me this, Fragranticans:

I can’t stand the original LVEB. So sickly sweet, with that choking, slightly grimy patchouli that is just a total turn off for me. But this version....SO similar...yet so utterly gorgeous! How can that possibly be?

I think the dialled down patch and the addition of rose make this a winner for me. It gives the whole thing a lighter, prettier feel. I want to sniff my wrist and can do so freely without developing a wheeze and a bad case of nausea. Lovely, lovely stuff.

The same big sillage and crazy longevity as the OG, too, just much more welcome.

CindyLou77

Very nice fragrance.. not very different or unique, if you are already familiar with Lancome’s La Vie Est Belle and Tresor La Nuit. I enjoy the bright, uplifting sweetness of LVEB and the warm, rosy sweetness of La Nuit. Funny thing is...This actually satisfies a curiosity of mine. I hadn’t yet tried it, prior to testing this fragrance, but La Vie est Belle en Rose smells so much like a mixture of LVEB and La Nuit! It’s a very nice blend of the two, in my opinion. My sample was an EDT, so of course, longevity and silage fell waaaay short. Hopefully the EDP will serve me much better.

Gingercat77

I haven’t bought perfume in ages, since I don’t have a lot of money these days... and besides I have enough perfume to last me several lifetimes anyway. So I haven’t bought any perfume in about a year. Walking past the Lancôme counter in town I took a sniff...IM IN LOVE... I’m a sucker for rose perfumes and this one didn’t disappoint, I love the LVEB range anyway but this is the icing on the cake!!! I had Elie Saab rose which was beautiful but short lived ..til I sadly smashed the bottle. So this is my beloved replacement. It’s beautiful... my only sadness is that it doesn’t last long being an EDT but i’ll just keep spraying. So so beautiful!
UPDATE i sprayed some of this on my wrist at 8 am this morning and could still clearly smell it at 5pm that evening. Longevity is GOOD

lolalee

To me smells a lot like Signorina Misteriosa, with some rose added and red berries instead of blue/black.
The opening is completely different, very berry rose but after a couple of hours I kept feeling like I was literally wearing SM.

FloridaMimi

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! I thought I would like it but I didn't think I would love it. It is undoubtedly familiar to LVEB but without the heady, overwhelming fragrance of patchouli which is why I never bought the original LVEB. This one however, is perfectly orchestrated chorus of scents that is so wonderfully put together it makes all of my favorite perfumes pale in comparison.

lmwimsatt

This is absolutely beautiful. This reminds me of one of my favorites which I did add to the reminds me section, but I'm going to keep my suggestion anonymous for personal reasons. I do believe my comparison is helpful so I'd like for it to not be downvoted into oblivion. Unfortunately there are trolls on this wonderful site who like to ruin the helpfulness for everyone

Shwets

Yes best flanker of LVEB that ive smelt. The patchouli is lighter here and hasnt got that typical fruitchouli scent.

Barbarra

I saw the commercial and fell in love. Peonies, roses and berries together, that is what I love in perfumes! I read a few reviews here and ordered a 50 ml flacon without trying it.

I like original LVEB, but it is not a love, so I´ve never bought it. I don´t know the flankers, I haven´t tried any of them.

My first impression, when I got my hands on En Rose, was: WOW! :) It is not so heady as LVEB (that is a big plus for me). En Rose is spakling scent, floral-fruity without beeing "artificial", and still very feminine. It is a romance in a bottle. Longetivity is amazing.

Much better than the original La Vie Est Belle. Beautiful dark rose.Strong but not overwhelming. Reminds me of the dark rose in Portrait of a Lady (Malle), but not that oppressive, More sparkling.

I don’t really like LVEB as on my skin it’s too strong and somehow overwhelming. I don’t get the sweetness but I think its my skin chemistry. But this flanker tho! I like it! So fresh start and makes me happy, suits very well for upcomig spring time and sunny days. I haven’t tried other flankers, only the original version but I highly recommend any person who likes LVEB to try this! Sillage is strong and it last and lasts and LASTS. Sweetness and roses in a very pretty bottle.

Can't wait to try this one on once it comes to Canada. I will definitely purchase it if it has same longevity as La Nuit Tresor or LVEB Edp.

BEST LVEB flanker, hands down. Gorgeous rosy opening that dries down to a sweet rose with the LVEB DNA that we all know and love. It’s a bit fresher, younger and sparklier than the original. I ordered a travel size from a seller in France. I hope they decide to sell it in the US because I neeeeed a full size of this, pronto!

This is a lovely fresh take on LVEB. The first spray is reminiscent of Absolutely Blooming but while that scent stays piercingly sharp throughout, 'LVEB en Rose dries down to a softly sweet slightly candied rose. Lovely.

Very pleasant fragrance. The opening is a fruity rose, sparkling and a bit acid. Later it is rose and musk. Not very original, it is the same old formula Lancôme always uses, but it smells pretty.
If you’re looking for a sweet fruity floral for spring, try this one.
p.s: the bottle is much prettier in live.

Absolutely amaaaaazing,YES this is La vie est Belle !!
I agree it´s very similar like the Bouquet de Printemps but much more fruity.
One of the best La vie est Belle so far, amazing, love love love.
The opening is so sparkling and juicy sweet-fruity scent with a spicy depth and a rose oil scent in it.
How it´s start to calm down the rose with the peony start to be more prominent. It´s very SWEET-floral,but with a gorgeous light floral aura. The lily of the walley add a special spicyness which I absolutely adore. It´s a true spring bouquet scent with a sensual floral aromas.
The dry down is sweet-powdery-floral and add just more depth to the composition, the main note is definitely the sweet patchouli with the powdery gourmand iris and with a light musk in the background (just a pinch).
It´s definitely in the LVEB family but more joyful and more rosy-floral.
It´s a very lovely, very feminine and romantic scent and highly addictive.
The sillage and longevity is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G !!!
Highly recommend for sweet-rose-floral lovers and LVEB fans, def.worth a try, because this scent is heaven.

Tried this a few days ago and find it very nice and fresh. It really reminds me of LVEB Bouquet de Printemps, a limited edition released in 2017 that turned out to be, in my opinion, the best crafted flanker of original LVEB. So if you know it you can get an idea of how the new En Rose version is. The bottle is very attracting as well, screams for Spring!

It seems like it’s going to be the battle of the roses , with all the en rose releases from different houses this year. Will definitely be trying this out
