Another favourite of mine due to the creamy citrus that works so well on my skin. three repurchases of this bottle so far and I'm not stopping anytime soon! I used this as my work perfume during the summer months as a working college gal and it reminds me of the fond beer garden trips after a busy, sweaty restaurant shift lol

To me this does not smell like light blue at all. It's way sweeter than funny, but less sweeter than love is love. I prefer AGIC out of them all :)

Between the longevity and the notes, this perfume works so well on me. It has grown to become one of my signature scents and I don't see myself getting sick of this scent anytime soon. And as usual, I will be repurchasing another 90ml this summer. It's just too good!!

A Girl in Capri is the perfect citrus, fresh scent for a hot summer day. In Capri or anywhere else where is hot and humid! I find the way this smells very evocative of a vacation day in the South of Europe.

It is indeed very lemony, has some sweetness in it from the bergamot, some sharpness and bitterness from the grapefruit blossom and a slight warmth feel from the amber. But at its core, A Girl in Capri is all about bright, vibrant lemon, bergamot, grapefruit blossoms, sea notes and clean musk. I find it a bit too sharp and astringent in the first minutes after application but the amber and the driftwood from the dry down cuts through the lemons’ acidity and sharpness and tames the scent quite nicely.

It’s not my number one summertime fresh scent, but I got a 90 ml bottle on a great deal at TJMaxx. In full honesty, I would not buy this for full retail price. It has a very classic bottle design, with a hefty white cap, contrasting against the lemony yellow of the juice. Does feel like a nice quality bottle. The box design looks eye catching and fits well the youthful, carefree, holiday aesthetic and the juice profile.

On me, my well macerated bottle lasts for 6-7 hours with moderate sillage, which is more than I expected from an EDT concentration. Performs better than expected.

Such a pity it doesn't last more than 30 min....

I love wearing this perfume for beach days. I carry it in my beach bag and spritz the scent every few hours.

Combined with the salty skin and the warm breeze.. I love this smell

B!tchBrisket

Soft and light, it's gentle and fresh and fizzy. Perfect for warm weather

Ceila88

Intro phase was a true walk in amalfi shore vibe , i purchased it immediately ..
Dry down is one of the most nausating scents i've ever had , way too musty and repulsive..

It smells like a plastic dish washed with a cheap synthetic lemon detergant 😵💫

I gave it to my mom to use it as toilette freshner or toss it away

I’m enjoying this as an everyday scent when I only want something very light, clean & fresh smelling. It lasts longer if you spray it on your body under your clothes, like a light body mist. The bottle is heavy and the sprayer emits a fine mist, which I appreciate. No complaints about this one. Great price online.

Adding later: I’m enjoying this. It’s pretty, and I like getting whiffs of it coming up from the neck of my top. A light, pretty, happy fragrance. 🙂

sam9877

Fresh citrus, woody lemon. Clean crisp and fresh. For me it didn't last long on the skin or clothes. Maybe only a couple hours or less it lasted for but its is fresh, pleasant, and inoffensive. I didn't have anything similar in this category and got it on a deal so I was happy with the value. Agree with the other reviewer who said they use it in the summer time, that is exactly how I use it. It works well in the heat and I use it during the days.

All I can smell here is a beautiful and realistic italian lemon as listed. For me, very linear scent. Unfortunately, it stays on skin for only one hour and then it's completely gone :( Personally, I use this scent on hot summer days, to run errands, to a stroll, to the gym because otherwise you have to reapply it all the time throughout the day. Decent but longevity is no existing.

judybitzer7

I love, love, love this perfume! I ordered it because I thought the notes suited me and I was right. It’s not overpowering. It’s a great scent.

safe blind buy. great for acquaintances and colleagues birthday present kinda thing. recently my early-20s colleague sniffed it and said it smells very motherly and mature. i don't agree with that. this is great for the first few mths but i got bored easily and dont reach for this as often. now it's a bedsheet spray.

Passing through Duty Free returning from a Euro Trip, I was able to meet him and there was no other! I immediately had to bring it and in its biggest bottle, because of the incredible way it can react on my skin. Girl In Capri is everything anyone is looking for in a light fragrance, but at the same time fresh, airy and that lasts for hours and hours!

The sensation of raw sap with bitter critics is so delicious and potent that it manages to yield the truest compliments in the first few hours, to the point of taking pencil and paper to write down what a citrus-potent fragrance this is, and also that it gets to be so unprecedented, nothing like the ones that are already launched in the market!

The marine aroma is very present, but it comes in the form of a breeze, the wind on your face, without the saltiness, just right! It has a dry smell of dehydrated wood so addictive that you can put your nose in it and not take it away, and it works in the form of a cloud that with each movement reveals the critical and bitter notes from the beginning! A necessary perfection this fragrance here! I can't see myself without her anymore; I like this citric footprint differentiated from her!

Eternity Girl

A stunningly fresh and super sweet lemon fragrance that settles to a soft musky floral heart.
I ADORE this perfume. My first bottle was a fleeting experience but I loved the actual scent so much I bought a couple more.bottles. my second bottle lasts longer.....up to 5 hours. Its a clean and pretty scent, wonderful in cold and hot weather on my skin.
One of my favourite perfumes is Versace Yellow Diamond and for me A Girl in Capri is a very similar perfume experience. Beautiful !!

Mira97

Smells like Lanvin marry me but in a citrusy way

Kuty22

Summer is here and I'm wearing this girl 😎🌞
It's the perfect hot summer scent, in my opinion for dry weather.

I wish it lasted longer though but, I can't complain, the nozzle and mist are perfection, and price point 😌

This scent on linen clothes oh my 😍😍😍

For hot humid summers, I'd suggest Boucheron Quatre, not similar but it's freshie that withstands sweat, whereas A girl in Capri doesn't.

Despite the flowers and sweetness I consider both mentioned, unisex and perfect for layering

Soapyscent

I love this! It's lemony and a little bit sweet. It lasts on me for 4 hours or so. I had tried it in the cooler weather and I didn't like it so much but now in the heat it's so yummy.

aisyaa

This is the perfect lemon fragrance for me. It is lemony, has sweetness in it, a tinge of floral and also fresh (not in the green or aquatic sense)

The downside is, the longevity is so poor. I'm talking about 1 - 2 hour max. If I dont layer it with Moschino Funny, it really wont last at all.

In the end, I just wear Moschino Funny which is 89% similar. I never buy the body lotion, maybe that'd help a bit.

Still, this is a very very nice fragrance. Not offensive and also great as a gift.

Savage1

I've been looking for a lemony-citrusy fragrance for the dog days of summer that will be upon us soon enough. Most of the reviews of this scent could be titled "meh", BUT, this is great on me! A little sharp in the opening, but then settles down to a light, mildly sweet lemon but with some depth. And it lasts at least 6 hours on me. I'm sold! This will be fantastic on hot days! For the price, I might be getting a second bottle soon! Seriously!

ekrapf

Lemony, but not like bathroom cleaner, fortunately. This to me smells exactly like White Citrus from Bath & Body Works. I gave it away.

terana

This sucks. Don’t buy it. The smell is nice, I guess – it smells like bathroom cleaner, but the expensive kind of bathroom cleaner. It doesn’t last though. Like, at all. The fragrance disappears as soon as you spray it on your skin, or your clothes, or anything, really. There’s no scent at all. It doesn’t even work well as an air freshener or bed linen spray. At least it was cheap.

Laoire

I was excited to receive this because I was looking for a fresh citrus scent for summer but this is way too fleeting. I sprayed 5 spritzes and got a lovely citrus waft that disappeared instantly, I kid you not! I got a skin scent for 5mins and even that completely vanished on my skin. This perfume is very affordable, but if I had known that it was so light and fleeting I would have saved my money and put it towards something else.

CarolinaM007

I bought this do to a reviewer that i absolutely love watching. I was in the search of a mainly citrus forward with a bit of a sugary undertone like a freshly squeezed lemonade. Unfortunately to me this is mostly a light tea semi sweet aquatic scent with a bit of citrus only in the beginning of the spray. It’s beautiful for an aquatic tea scent with a hint of citrus but that’s not what I was looking for so I’m back in the search of my perfect citrus perfume. Hopefully this helps those thinking of buying this for the citrus note.

Lorevdv

Moderate/strong sillage, very long longevity.
I really adore it.
Very citrusy and pure, so feminine and modern. Perfect for warm weather because of the citrus, but in winter it feels great. Suits perfect night or day.

Gruhlanska96

I'm loving it 😍

RB2002

To my nose it’s cheap, shrill aromachemical citruses and florals, and a piercing “ozone” note. Total scrubber. So hard to find a nice, fresh, lemony perfume these days that doesn’t smell like air freshener and/ or florals. I find the Turkish Eau De Colognes Duru lemon, Eyup Sabri Tuncer Cesme Lemon or Lemon Verbena, and the Spanish Nenuco to be 100x better and more natural smelling than this. Big disappointment.

Jordan 99

One of the better citrusy fragrance, linear, simple, creamy, fresh, summery.

emi

Very pleasant soft round citrus perfume. Fresh and inoffensive with little silage and longevity. It belongs to that green tea fresh green citrusy cathegory and I use It with great pleasure.

ssamhita

Earlier this year, around mid-summer, when we were planning our first holiday in four years to Bali, I spent weeks researching which perfume to get and make new memories with. Clarins Eau des Jardins had always been my go to beach holiday scent, but I really wanted something new. And so I asked around and watched YouTubers and made lists. And then, one day, while randomly walking into a discount perfume store, I saw A Girl in Capri on offer, smelled it once, and bought it on spot, deciding to make it my holiday scent.

I usually run miles away from citrus scents, specially ones with “sea notes” and it’s a good thing I didn’t look up the notes on Fragrantica before buying this, because I love it. I remember this evening, having spent the entire afternoon at the beach with my little girls, building sand castles and drinking coconut water, when I came back and took a long hot shower, I sprayed myself liberally with this one, and sat in the balcony loving the feel of the warm sea breeze on my skin. This reminds me somewhat of CK In2U for Her, although that one’s a little sweeter. The citrus in A Girl in Capri is not green - and I love that this doesn’t have that dreaded neroli that somehow always goes hand in hand with citruses - and is happy and fizzy instead. It doesn’t last very long on me, which is why I use it almost like a body spray all over my body. I find myself wearing this each time we go to the beach now because it goes perfectly with the sea and the sand.

Today I am wearing this layered with BBW Butterfly and the raspberry in Butterfly makes this really yummy! I also layer this with JLO Miami Glow and that layer is absolute perfection because it also lasts really long :)

mibro

this is similar to light blue in the sense that lemon is the main note although i do get more of an ozonic touch to this one. with light blue, it’s just a bomb of lemon to me and nothing else. cheap and great for the summer

carolinaescobar

genericjanedoe

This is quite a simple, linear perfume; top, heart, and base notes smoothly flow from one stage to another.

The first hit is very green, and the lemon and bergamot follow through quickly. I even get hits of zingy lime. The dry-down to heart notes are not far behind, with the lemon mixing with a solid grapefruit to become a surprisingly mild citrus accord. Occasional wafts of a watery layer are reminiscent of Aqua di Gio for women, but sadly nowhere near as beautiful.

It's not an unpleasant perfume, but it will never get hearts racing. The dying notes put me too much in mind of linen-scented fabric conditioner. I love the cheerful packaging and the chunky 90ml bottle, and I can see myself bringing it over to our home on the Italian Riviera, as it's the perfect scent for a day at the beach, by the pool or in the hot tub - and to leave behind for the next visit.

There is little longevity or sillage on this perfume - but the price is good, so you can afford to decant and spray liberally throughout the day. As far as perfumes go, it wouldn't even win runner up in a beauty contest, but it might get a "B+" for effort.

So... These kind of summer-sea scents are not really my thing, BUT I like this one. Blind purchased it because I thought the name was cute. I know it has to do with Capri, Italy, but since I'm a Capricorn I felt the need to add it to my collection. I do enjoy it, I just need to get used to it! & I did need a nice, fresh summer perfume for the day, so I'm looking forward to wear it while the sun makes an appearance.

justilou

This is a perfect, inoffensive, summer scent for work. I really enjoy it. It was a blind purchase and I miss it now I have run out of it. I preferred it to D&G Light Blue, finding the longevity better and it less shrill.

Fashionplatefanny

Such a shame because this fragrance has potential to be good, however it’s poorly blended and I’d say made from poor quality ingredients. It’s sharp, loud and it makes your nose sting and triggers a headache.

It does remind me of being at the beach. I can smell the sun, sand and salty ocean spray and then the beachy driftwood dry down. Very bright, citrus and musk up front, I can smell the ocean salt water aquatic note in the middle and then the driftwood. It should be pleasing to the nose however it isn’t. It smells cheap and obnoxious.

I disagree strongly with those who say it reminds them of D&G light blue and Chopard Happy Lemon Dulce. The only thing they all have in common with each other is that they all contain a lemon note and that’s where the similarity and quality ends.

The bottle is Very cute, heavy bottomed little bottle with a nice cap, I guess it’s suppose to look like an Italian wine wrapped in raffia which is cute. The colour is very appropriately matched to the fragrance. I love the atomiser, very nice quality with a gorgeous even spray. All the quality went into making the bottle and cap!!!

Catlady21

A very weak perfume on my skin, not only in terms of sillage and persistence, but also the smell is very subtle. However, it smells so nice and the price is so good that I don't mind applying it more often.

It smells like my childhood summer vacations in the countryside, giving me nostalgia. Clean sheets, lemonade, breeze, and grass. But it’s nothing astringent, it’s really well blended and suave/gentle.

I have both I love love from Moschino and this one and they smell different. Also, for someone who wants a stronger citrus scent, I would suggest Moschino.
I prefer Lanvin.

Lili1105

According to the reviews, I had high expectations, so I bought it blindly. The comparison with DG is absolutely wrong, DG is a thousand times better. This fragrance is a cheap citrus freshener. It smells cheap like drugstore perfumes. Fortunately, the price was not high. Disappointing for me.

Kuty22

My favorite lemon 🍋 citrusy scent, possibly because it's a sweet lemon
I absolutely love this scent, the bottle, the sprayer
But the longevity 😑
I wish there was an EDP version
Forever in my collection

Kitskivich

Innocuous and light, and great for summer. It's fresh and citrusy but has warmth to it as well. There's no cleaning product effect here for me at all, and no acrid synthetic marine notes to report. The floral note is subtle and the base notes happily blended. I don't get fresh lemon so much as the acknowledged bergamot - and also a hint of grapefruit. The fragrance wears pretty consistently over time so you don't wind up with 'off' citrus notes after a few hours. The fragrance just blends a bit more over time. It's not a beast so don't expect monster sillage or longevity. It is, however, a safe, even unisex, bet for something airy, enjoyable, and lovely.

wiley1111

I got this as a blind buy in an online marketplace for $15. On the day it arrived I’d already sprayed myself with my very precious (almost finished) Le Feu D’Issey, but once it had dried down to base notes I spritzed a little bit of this down the front of my shirt. It was nice, sweet, simple, lemony and cute.

Shortly after I took the dogs out for a walk through the nearby pine forest, it was cold and lightly drizzling, and I live on the coast so a salty sea breeze was blowing in. Suddenly I was hit smack in the nostrils by all of the scents around me mingling with the woody goodness of Le Feu and the fresh zesty optimism of AGIC. My first thought was “Gypsy Water?” and then all thoughts were erased and pure presence in nature took over.

So yeah, I’m gonna layer the sh*t out of this one and you should too.

jonbecca

I bought this for my teen daughter. It is lemony and musky and perfect for a memorable, youthful summer. She loves it and can't stop spritzing herself which makes me happy. Memories of youth and summer here she comes!

Gruhlanska96

I got it for a pretty good price and I'm loving it
Lovely 😍

annasarahr121

This juice is so pretty! Citron-lemony, fresh, clean laundry musk -- mmmmmmm!!! It's definitely nothing groundbreaking, but that's OK. If you like stuff like CKN2U, CK One, Ed Hardy Love & Luck, even Guerlain Eau de Fleurs de Cedrat, you'll enjoy this perfume. For a lemon/citron fragrance, its longevity is good, too. Lemony loveliness! :)

jonbecca

Bought for my teenager as a gift. It smells amazing. Perfect youthful summer scent and bonus she loves it just as much!

Kuty22

I absolutely love 😍 this scent
I wish it lasted longer though but for the price I can't complain

Lady3Jane

Starts with a blast of fresh lemons, zesty, not sweet at all, neither sour or bitter, just pure fresh lemony citrus. Then a salty breeze rolls in like waves on a beach. Now, to my pleasant surprise, something very creamy starts to settle with traces of driftwood. It is very hard to dislike this fragrance. It does not smell like the thousand other usual citrus/aquatic freshies on the market, creamy dry down is suprisingly pleasant. Of course longevity and sillage are weak since it is a citrus centered summer fragrance. Price point doesn’t hurt to respray it through out the day.

sphynxcat

I blind-bought this in hopes it'd be a light, easy, citrusy spritzer that doesn't overstay its welcome and that's exactly what it is!
I mostly smell lemon and a slightly sweet grapefruit, with a vaguely creamy musk and a hint of a salted woods vibe giving it a vaguely shoreline vibe. Vaguely. Reminds me in function of Fresh Hesperides Grapefruit, which I also enjoy, but has a flatter base.
Lasts about 3 hours on me (though my husband said he could smell it on me hours after that). It's uncomplicated, not screamingly synthetic, no screechiness, no dryer sheets. I got 100ml tester for 22 bucks so I can spritz away! A successful blind buy!

Dana79

This is a beautiful scent, happy, sunny, bright citrus with just the right amount of sweetness. I'm in my 40s and I really like this for summer. It would be a great perfume if the performance would be better. I literally can only smell it while I spray it, a few min later it's already fading away. I suppose that is the only reason why it's not extremely popular.

Search and Discover

Lemon spritzer. Lovely, soft, fresh, sparkling lemonade. A touch sweet, not sour at all, dries down to a gentle floral like most Lanvins. Of all the lemon scents I've tried for Spring, this is the best. It doesn't leave any kind of sour or acrid drydown on the skin like I've found with others. If you're like me and have the problem of citrus freshies turning into bathroom potpourri or even cat pee on your skin, this one is for you! No danger of anything off, just lovely. Great value, too, for a seasonal perfume.

yeesa_

sweet lemons. Im not a fan of citrus scents but this one isn't bad. I dont like it as much as I thought I would its just meh.

Depend on oat

Sweet lemon fresh beachy musky
i'm in love at first snift, normally I'm not a fan of
Citrus but this is sweet lemon tart verry yummy
One of the best citrus that I every had.

MrsMRe

Sometimes you just want a lemony yellow breezy summer scent that truly smells like Italy and A Girl in Capri captures that moment in a way that doesn't seem basic or cheap as many fresh citruses can. Very nice!

natluvly

Just blind bought this and in the drydown sprayed on paper it smells like versace eros edt for women but not as strong as that one which I like. Eros was too strong for me. Im happy with it!!

I have not sprayed it on my skin yet but will update. And on paper this thing lasted a while. Every time I came in my bedroom I could smell it and even in the next room. It's still not as strong as eros though. That one had some cheap note that was off putting to me, I can't really explain it. Hoping I like this one once I test on my skin.

MrsTofu

Zing!!! Eye watering sour, poppy citrus scent but in a very pleasant way. Ha! Much more soul than your dolce and Gabbana light blue freshly. Like

kapibary

The scent is very nice - citrusy, clean and refreshing BUT... it is so weak when it comes to longevity and sillage! I think that no one beside me can smell it. The scent also does not stay on skin or clothes for a long time. That is sad because I would like everyone to be able to smell it ;)

mqkm

It’s a light woody sweet citrusy floral fragrance. I mostly can detect grapefruit blossoms and lemon and driftwood. It’s a soft skin scent that opens quite alcoholic at first. It’s not overly citrusy. I don’t think it’s similar to Creed AF or Bond no. 9 Peace for her, but it’s nice.. just not strong at all. And that woody sweet note reminds me what I can smell in Angel Nova Mugler. Just a soft and very citrusy one (lemons, grapefruit blossom and driftwood).. that’s all
I’d rate it 6/10

mirena.1

To me it's amazing little gem that can make you feel happy in the morning when you go to work or on the beach.
It's just like a sweet lemon juice and have good lasting.

ingeneuxo

-Simple lemon scent.
-Easy reach for summer.

*Update*
-clings forever on clothing. Not a major fan of it when linear scents do that. (-)

karinatfragrantica

Fully agree with Marteta: remarkable atomizer! This is a really lovely lemon scent, perfect for summer and quite good lasting for a freshie. It is definitely not a complex or demanding fragrance and sometimes you just need that - a nice lemon to boost your mood. It is a very realistic juicy lemon, not the cleaning detergent kind, and the grapefruit blossom and sea notes compliment it nicely.
I like that it really is great value for money and it is not so popular like other summer citruses (DG Light Blue etc).

Marteta

I have been using it non stop this summer since it’s very refreshing.
I wouldn’t repurchase since I do prefer others of this fresh lemon clean category and there’s a lack of depth but I have to say that it’s a fair price for what it is.
Surprisingly it last me a good amount of time for being this kind of scent (4 hours) but there’s no projection or sillage.
Special mention to the atomizer, is gorgeous!

kcoughlin

Reminds me of my Capri from Skylar. Really pleasant like fresh lemons and the ocean

Murmur123123

A very affordable citrus scent for summer but it exceeds my expectation. To my nose I don't find it tart or sharp, instead the citrus notes come with a mild sweetness. I don't get any sea notes and not much musk either. Overall a light and pleasant scent for really hot days.

coleenie

I blind bought this at Marshall's while on vacation in Puerto Rico- I am hoping that it will always remind me of that trip. I love the bottle and the sprayer. As others have said, it has a nice light slightly citrus scent- to me it smells sophisticated yet relaxed, like I imagine "A Girl in Capri" would be- to me it says oversized sunglasses, head scarf, and ballet flats. Overspray is definitely advised, especially if you want staying power. Sometimes it actually ends up smelling a bit powdery on me, which I'm not a fan of, but it's not a bad smell at all and probably wouldn't bother most people.

Chouli Galore

I came across this perfume for $30 at a Marshall's store. What I like about it is the yellow and white packaging, the nicely shaped bottle, the fine mister sprayer, and the scent has a lemony Light Blue vibe. However I don't like the very lightweight sillage, so you really need to over spray with this one or use it like a body mist. But it's a nice pleasing lemon scent. Unisex, casual and crowd friendly too.

katariina9

Very easy-to-wear sweet summer lemon. Though not interesting, its very pleasant and good value for money at least here in Europe. Then again, due to the fact that the longevity and sillage is more on the limited side, it may be better to get one of Aqua Allegorias...It lasts as much as Acqua di Parma blue line, so these don't make better value than Lanvin btw.

I smell predominantly sweet fizzy lemon with a bit of flower and musk. No seawater savoury note or driftwood on my skin other than freshness that may be slight beach breeze. Amber makes it dry down like hard lemon bonbon/candy with enough depth for citrus. Good for layering.
*I've layered my sample today on top of l'Heure Bleu EdT by Guerlain.

diamond74

This smells like Versace Yellow Diamond imo. Lemony citrus and musk. I just tested it, so I don’t know about longevity but seems nice for summer. I like it :)
Update: ok , this has no longevity at all on my skin( gone after10 minutes)

Jellobello

The first impression was bad with bitter, sharp sour scent of citrus. But when applied on my skin, it turns to be some kind of appealing bitter but fresh lemon scent. Not really a fan of this but it's not so bad as i thought it would be either.

Mademoiselle B

This perfume to me is summer in a bottle. It is so fresh and juicy, you can feel the sun on your skin and a light sea breeze when you apply it. I absolutely adore citric scents and this is one of my favourite after Acqua di Parma Magnolia Nobile. If you like fresh citrus perfumes but you do not want to splurge on Acqua di Parma, this is definitely the way to go. The longevity on my skin is also amazing, I can smell it the whole day.

LaContessina

I like all kind of hesperides in perfumery, so I was immediately attracted to this sunny, summer-like Girl in Capri.
I liked it a lot and smelled it many times before deciding for a full bottle.
It's a joyful fragrance, that does convey the image of vacation, sun, lighthearted moments and joie-de-vivre (and God knows how much we need these feelings after this troubled year).
This fragrance opens surely lemony but also is big on the grapefruit - the blossom is listed here but do NOT believe it! it's pure plain peel and juice of grapefruit itself.
So if this note is not your friend (on some skins it turns acrid and urine -like) stay away.
I dont' get a really sea, marine note - unless what they mean with aquatic here is calone that gives that melon-watermelon feel.
However now that I have worn it several times, I must say that the central notes are quite fruity/sweet (calone?) and that does not get me head over heels.
Not a love but a like, and I can see finishing the bottle, sooner or later. It makes me feel refreshed.
Longevity: better than many other citrus summer frags, sillage is medium.
The comparison with Moschino Funny is correct, however being Girl in Capri relatively new, it is way more widely available in shops.
This is an affordable, funny and uncomplicated perfume for summerdays.

Beautiful bottle and packaging, by the way.

Am I the only one who thought that this did not smell anything like the ingredients listed above-- surely it should smell citrusy and breezy however I got fruits and soapy scents but this is a nice scent yet does not smell anything like it promises to--- 7/10 would have worn this if I were younger more in my teens because it has this synthetic feel which isn't my personal choice for a fragrance anymore

grapefruit352

Its basically a mono-lemon with an aquatic note. When you put a sugar free lemonade into the frozen distillated water, you get that scent.

agate.ne

It's like younger version of D&G's light blue? It's not the same scent as to be called dupe or clone (they're so diff!) but you get the same citrusy element and goodness of wood notes on its base.

A real nice summer scent for me since I looove light blue and dislike floral fruity kind like Acqua di Gioia or Versace Dylan Blue pour Femme. It got good performance and longetivity, a total worthy buy for the price. A Total gem for me and absolutely a wonderful finding (thank you Lanvin!).

apartyorsomething

Wow - this is such a hidden gem! This is a bright lemon with orange blossom/neroli (which is listed as grapefruit blossom in the notes), and to me a strong beachy woodiness (the driftwood) at the base that keeps this fresh, light, but also grounded and interesting. There is a slight creaminess, but not vanilla, and this isn’t really a sugared lemon. I think fans of Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt would love this. I like to layer this with D&G Light Blue Love is Love when I want a little extra sweetness and femininity. Despite the name “A Girl in Capri,” I would categorize this as solidly unisex.

I love this one. Possibly, my favorite citrus-centric fragrance. I'd never encountered a scent before that smells of fresh and vibrant citruses and yet is soft and creamy at the same time. It is very pretty and the presentation - both the bottle and the ad - matches the fragrance perfectly. I can smell it on my skin 4-6 hours after spraying. Sillage is pretty strong. A coworker standing 3-4 feet away remarked that I smell wonderful. "A Girl in Capri" is going to be a mainstay in my perfume wardrobe.

tukeemplus

Fresh and wonderful scent, feel amazing and more confidence. Thank you!

katja blue

What a pretty and refreshing summer fragrance! Lemon and grapefruit are my favorite citrus notes. This is a youthful and happy perfume, perfect for vacation or whenever you need a mood boost.

First, it smells fizzy like an European carbonated beverage and then becomes more creamy. There's a hint of marine smell in the background. It's sweet but not a sugar bomb.

Moschino Happy! is very different. A girl in Capri is nicer, more refined perfume with better longevity and sillage.

I enjoy it very much and would recommend it. If you like citrus notes, especially lemon and grapefruit blossom this one is a rather safe blind buy.

DebiL1211

Vibrant lemon scent with a hint of musk. Very pretty and for a more creamy version I layer this with Ganache Lemon Eclair.

A girl in Capri is like the sugared lemon rind on top of the Ganache lemon Eclair.

By itself I get around 5 hours on my skin with 6 sprays. It doesn't really project for me. It is more of a skin scent but it I wear fragrance for me and not others.

I would probably buy it again.

rachriabin

This is my least favorite citrus perfume. It's not fresh at all, very creamy.

It was my birthday so I decided to treat myself with an extra bottle of fragrance for that month. I already bought the dreamer (for rainy days) and lalique le perfum. And I want to spend some extra cash on pretty thing/bottle too. So this one came into my mind.

I was disappointed at first because rather than having a pretty bottle, this scent is well uhm okay for me. I don't like when citrusy fragrance mixed with musk or amber. And somehow its grown on me. I understand the purpose of this fragrance. Cunning yet cute.

And now I am addicted to this yellow fragrance. Okay. Funny story. I wore this to meet a guy and this scent left on his pillow and his shirt (chest area) hahaha. He asked me to date again because of it. So I am glad I bought this. I scored a great guy with this.

Despite the lemon overdose in the ad campaign, I was instantly reminded of a more accessible version of a Hermes perfume during the great Jean Claude Ellena period. It's the Grapefruit (blossom) and Marine accords. Very pretty, fresh, Mediterranean, and of course, more affordable than most Hermes frags.

I would classify it as a safe blind buy if interested.

Dakota22

I love this. Similar to Moschino Funny, but this lasts longer and is brighter. For a citrus lasts all day. Best price on Perfumenet. The bottle is gorgeous, heavy, and Lanvin is a new house for me to explore.

What I smell in the bottle and as an opening on my skin of A Girl in Capri is definitely sima! Sima is a Finnish mead-like beverage, with very low alcoholic content due to limited fermentation. It's a drink for the spring and consumed especially on the First of May which is a national holiday. Even though it contains alcohol, albeit just the slightest amount, it's largely regarded as children's drink that adults can drink, too. Nowadays you can buy it in grocery stores but when I was a child, my mother used to make it herself for the First of May celebrations. Water, lemons, brown sugar, some raisins and a bit of yeast, and a delicious beverage was born.

When I spray A Girl in Capri on my skin, I'm immediately taken back to my childhood home drinking sima in a tall glass at the kitchen table with my mother there beside me. The sun is shining, it's warm and lovely outside with birches starting to grow light green buds of leaves (mouse ears they are called), and the whole world is sparkling bright and new after the long cold winter, as they once were. I love the scent of A Girl in Capri, and even if it doesn't last on my skin that well, I really don't mind reapplying throughout the day, because it truly takes me back home.

Luckyrose

Can we please talk about the bottle first? It is beautiful and I can really appreciate the heavy cap instead of cheap light plastic ones. I would choose this over light blue anyday. I am saving this beautiful baby for my positano trip.
Some may say that this fragrance lacks character but in my opinion that is the purpose of this fragrance. Straightforward and works beautifully in the heat especially with sweat.

ViouAmara

Sorry I don’t like it. Quick lemony blast, generic white flower and old Zara-like boring white musk. Unfortunately this kind of musk makes me sick.
Could be a mall scent, which is not necessarily a bad thing.

aileensinara

It's light, fresh, soft, citrusy. It's what I get when I'm wearing it. I was looking forward to more bergamot :). It suits very warm weather, when you want to wear something fresh and light. Not one of my preferred Lanvin though.

melange

A quite atypical take on a citrus scent, A Girl in Capri Smells lightly of sweet lemon, then strongly of olive leaves and amber; slightly unisex scent, quite long-lasting. Bottle quite unwieldy.

justfloral

Pleasant citrus.
After spraying: lemons + sweet flag (Acorus calamus) + woody notes, a scent of citrus wood and leaves.
After an hour: lemons + woody notes.

dglightblue

Different day, sunny and hot, different notes come out, today is in line more with the accords.
It’s not the same as light blue by gabbana, it’s as if you’re sitting near the sea, on a Mediterranean mountain top with herby things growing in the brush, citrus is citrus peel to me, aromatics...
Light blue (and that line) are zingy fresh and have a really different middle (still love it, was my first ever proper scent).
Lanvin has put out a real proper (they’ve also put out some rubbish over the years in terms of longevity) thoughtful scent, with good longevity. The new Libre by ysl is different but shares the same aromatic thread to some degree.

It’s fresh, different, not a fruity- tooty, not a sweetie- pateetie

dglightblue

Absolutely beautiful
I wasnit looking for another fragrance but picke this one up with its sunny box.

I smelled apricot a light, airily sort, a little sweet, I would have to test on a pulse point to really detect more, not your average sweetie, or fruity.

alabangcute

My mother gifted this to my aunt and she called my Mom twice to thank her for the beautiful scent. She also called me too to ask if I was the one who chose the scent and I said yes, it was my selection from a wide range available at the perfume department. She thanked me and again said it was a wonderful scent. Lol.

tinabelcher

A very bright long lasting sugared lemon - not too different from D&G's Light Blue flankers Italian Zest & Sun, but better staying power.

nitschevo

Personally, I don't find this generic at all. But then again Citrus fragrances are favorites of mine so I might be biased :)
A Girl in Capri is fun and carefree but elegant - it's Lanvin after all. On my skin the grapefruit blossom and marine accord add a great twist to the Lemon and Bergamot. It dries down to a breezy and warm citrus fragrance, lovely.

Shinder13

Very safe, generic citrus fragrance. A bit of a yawn for me. Just couldn't find anything interesting about it.

perfumeholic88

Delicate waves and warm sand Water birds circling around. Bare feet are pleasantly submerged in the sand and are washed up by the water every now and then. The air is a bit salty, clean. Around is silence, peace. Such a climate I like and this composition is a perfect picture of the beach somewhere in Spain or Greece although I prefer to spend holidays in colder countries, the exotic climate of these places is not impressing me, I really like these perfumes. They are clearly marine, fresh (but not cologne) and beachy, but without associations with sunbathing oil etc. A big role here plays also a strong note of sour, fresh citrus. This is mainly lemony smell and it very nicely harmonizes with the note of warm sea here presented. Despite the fact that the name rejected me at the beginning, it´s good idea to get to know this fragrance and see that it is well made and can be a great companion on warm days. For the lovers of the sea and citrus in the natural version- an obligatory position.

ScarlRed

My favourite summer scent. Authentic and realistic smell of citrus, very refreshing, but not very sweet. Very pleasant, youthful and carefree scent, I will definitely buy a new bottle as soon as I finish my 30 ml bottle. Longevity and sillage are moderate.

Andy the Frenchy

This smells very nice on my gf, I like it!
The woody-musky-vanillic drydown is a carbon copy - maybe slightly sweeter - of Guerlain AA Bergamote Calabria (or maybe the opposite, who knows?) with a better projection. Just wish perfume houses would stop with all that amalfi/capri marketing... enough!

Summer days, 15-30yo

raiza1990

I tried it more than once, to be fair. I didn't want to write a negative review, but... it is just meh. It is fresh and that is it. There is nothing that makes it memorable. One more citrusy fragrance for summer...
There are cheapies out there that are more interesting.

So, I planned to test it, but I haven't thought I'm going to like it that much. At first, I can smell lemons, but not your average lemons. They're bitter, almost like an expensive aperitif. And the first blast is intriguing enough, so I keep waiting.

After a while, an hour or so, I got a wonderful mix of light woods and musk. I would like to distinguish grapefruit flower, maybe that's it mixed with the other notes, either way, it's wonderful. I really like the middle part and I wish it lasted and lasted.

I don't think it's going to be super long lasting. A day scent, the best, but maybe it's just an impression in a colder weather. It's promising, to say at least and I'm going to give it another try in a warmer season.

A Girl in Capri knows what to wear to feel great. Great with herself. If the others like it and are drown to her, great. If not, well, she's still going to have the time of her life. The middle notes remind me of the middle notes of Eau de L'Orangerie by Lancome. Maybe that's why I like it so much.

Nevertheless, something tells me, it's going to end up in my collection anyway. It's definitely worth giving a try. Especially if you've been disappointed with the recent Lanvin releases.

So.. the Girl of Now, Who Can Do Anything, is now in Capri. A lot of girls in the perfume names nowadays!

Very fresh citrus scent which is definitely nothing unique, nothing new. I have smelled this many times before.

Still I like it and would wear it. Such a refreshing, happy scent, fit for hot climate.

I am not a girl. If someone asked me what am I wearing, I'd have to answer: "Bank of England in Capri." Just kidding, but the name is silly. The pink font is tacky.
How about simply "Capri"?

emmachloe

Top note smells like lemony cool breeze. For heart note, I can smell some soapy scent, but not a common one. It's kind of lemony soapy scent. I agree with the comment up above, 'a very pleasant realistic refreshing citrus'. It's a beautiful and pleasant citrus scent. Though these days I'm not in citrus scent, I like this one! It's inoffensive and pleasant citrus scent.
In South Korea, this perfume was released yesterday, the first day of May. I just rushed to the store and bought 30ml of this scent. After wearing this perfume, I got to love this and thinking of buying 50ml of it.

justchillinxo

A very pleasant realistic refreshing citrus

Denica

The bottle looks a lot like Jour d'Hermes! Creative impotence?

I<3Perfume

That's bottle is so cute. Even the front is cute. Super youthful.

HOUSTONHOUSTON

I also don't like the font but lets not forget that they are targeting a very young crowd. Barbie pink+handwriting... appealing for the girl in a high school/college. I don't care about bottles, I care about juice. I love citrus scent and hope this one will be lovely and refreshing. Hello from Texas =)

jovejove

I like the bottle design, I just don’t like the font. The font makes it look cheap
