for me, this one is quite similar to Lolita Lempicka without the strong licorice note.
This one is lighter, with more violet and vanilla.

This one was a blind buy, and although it didn't disappoint I find it a tad annoying that it is presented as a flanker to the original " Pour Femme". It clearly isn't, just have a look at the pyramid !
That said, I am thrilled I now own a typical winter fragrance, warm and dark but neither cloying nor "in your face"... being definitely a lover of lighter, spring-y scents, it has always been a bit of a challenge for me to find a cold weather perfume which I feel confortable with.
It is mainly woody and sweet to my nose, with the bergamot peeking through like a ray of sunshine in interestingly and beautifully grey winter skies.
Sensual and mysterious, but maybe not very original.

About two days ago I received an intriguing invitation.
Or rather, a ticket to the theater. To the theater of Mr. Pierre Cardin for the play entitled "Pierre Cardin pour Femme l'Intense". At first a bit surprised, I remembered how recently I had the opportunity to attend rehearsals of this play. Back then, they came off weak and pale. I poked around backstage and left somewhat disappointed. I wondered all the more how to discreetly get out of this participation. Nevertheless, I checked the reviews of those who had already had the opportunity to attend the show. There were not many, but only positive reviews. I looked at the main roles out of sheer curiosity. It turned out that the entire cast is well known to me. Ba even very much liked and appreciated by me. Namely: powdery iris, seductive heliotrope, elegant jasmine, proud lily, airy freesia, fragrant bergamot and sweet vanilla. In a musical setting prepared by sandalwood. Citrus in the role of extras. And all directed by a delicate musk.
I was wrestling with my thoughts, however, curiosity won out.
I decided to go to the meeting. Impeccable hairstyle, beautiful creation, delicate but precise makeup and I was ready.
I had a seat in the best box overlooking the stage.
The performance turned out to be a hit.
The play itself perfectly composed. Incredibly brilliant, dynamic. Nothing stiff.
Everything specially prepared and refined. I was pleasantly surprised....
Pierre Cardin pour Femme l'Intense is a beautiful perfume.
They cannot be denied charm, charm, elegance and femininity. There are few perfumes that vibrate so beautifully on the skin, showing their exclusively good qualities. This is an example of how not to be discouraged and worth giving a second chance. Just like in life...

I really like this fragrance although it settles very differently on my skin. Sometimes the powdery heliotrope tones don't allow you to breathe calmly, and sometimes the first fiddle is played by refreshing bergamot along with less noticeable freesia and vanilla. Then, too, towards the very end, sandalwood appears in the base. I think I prefer the latter option more, because such a ghastly heliotrope that hits the nose hard is pretty hardcore ;)Only the lily from the opening doesn't appeal to me somehow, although it should be there somewhere in the opening, I can't smell it at all. I also don't smell violet leaves - or more - my idea of them ;)
Overall I think the fragrance is worth testing, I recommend it to anyone who likes such intoxicating strong florals on a vanilla base. PC Intense is, in my opinion, such a not quite obvious but very nice gourmand. Autumn, spring, or whatever you prefer. In my case, it's in use for four seasons - maybe only skipping the hot days of summer. Persistence quite good, projection so-so.

There is such an expression: candy-bouquet period. this is what comes to mind when you take this eau de toilette. the first chords are a bright, fresh, floral bouquet. no sooner do you inhale its rich aroma, than you get a box of pralines. i think the trio of heliotrope, vanilla and sandalwood form this nuance.
Even with a single lather on the neck under the hair, the fragrance is felt all day and the next morning, but here, I think, no comments :-)
