Shock-In-Scent For Women Police for women

This is so good, it quickly turned into a ride-or-die for me.
First blast- honey. Sweet, dense, realistic honey. More realistic then I’ve ever encountered. Like, beyond honey. Sweet flowers are in here too, I definitely get the ylang. And a powderyness that to me feels like a yellow powder, almost pollen like. The thing that makes this fragrance sing is that I can smell the two accords coming through at the same time. They’re dancing around my body at different levels, a juicy joyful cherry/almond/honey, and at the same time a dry yellow powder.
What a composition this is! Lasts for-ev-er, and I’ll happily wear it any season, daytime or dates. 10/10 for me!!

P.S. If you’re feeling adventurous I highly suggest Ted Lapidus White Soul Gold & Diamonds. Very similar opening to this, then a realistic caramel, drying down to an Alien jasmine/amber combo. Not as bombastic as Shock-In-Scent, but a Francis Kurkdjian creation and quite a ride.

I love JPG Scandal line and own most of the flankers. And i must admit WOW that’s really similar to Scandal! I wouldn’t say it’s exactly like Scandal or Scandal by night, Police scent is in between two of them. On one hand it’s obviously almondy-cherry which gives the same vibe as Scandal by night, but the difference is in Police scent there’s no tuberose so the dry down is not creamy tart like as Scandal by night.
So I’d say Police scent is like OG Scandal with cherry on top! The openings is almost identical to Scandal by night but the dry down is different and resembles more Scandal OG!

After 3 days of wearing:
Shock scent after an hour of wearing starts reminding of La Vie est Belle, which I personally don’t like. So even though i like the opening os SIS , further on i will still be buying Scandal, even though it’s more expensive.

A powerful performance and even though it's pretty obviously synthetic, I actually really like it. It just makes me happy and I feel like I am smelling violets covered in honey, whatever that means.

Spray lightly, my friends, if you overspray, you might get sick of it quickly.

Sweet & Clean Citrus & Candied-Almond...

Inspired by Scandal Jean Paul Gaultier, this beauty isn't an exact dupe but has a good approximation with a twist and excellent performance. Opens with a sweet burst of candied almond supported by multi-faceted bergamot, that deepens into the white-floral heart of jasmine with clean touches from something near neroli & orange-blossom (not listed), and yellow-floral touches from ylang. This all rests on a base of honey-amber and orris root. Alongside there is a sugar-crystal texture carrying all of the notes.

Overall this has a more forward nutty quality than Scandal. The clean touches from white-floral have a soft but pleasant dryer-sheet vibe that swells into the opening a little but quickly takes a backseat for the drydown which goes in a more honey-almond direction. The orris root here is bringing a powderiness that adds to the sugar-crystal texture popular in scents like La Vie Est Belle Lancôme (although these are different scent profiles).

Well above average performance for a year round wearing experience, but I would be more likely to wear this in fall & winter. For what it is, it's a love for me. Enjoy!

Was looking for a scent that is like the botanical honey scent of sweet alyssum flowers, which is a flower aroma I adore. This totally does it for me. It’s very similar to JPG Scandal, (which I also have, and love) for a fraction of the price. I say botanical, because it’s not honey like a jar of
honey, but sweet honey wafting in the air on a warm, early summer day.
As for Scandal comparisons, here are the differences: Scandal has fruits, oranges and peach, while SIS has almond and Orris root, making it a bit softer and more powdery. There’s no beeswax in SIS, which I think may be providing that botanical vs culinary honey effect. There’s a touch of Ylang Ylang and bergamot in SIS, and none in Scandal. But these notes are well blended in, and don’t jump out at you.

For a cheapie, they knocked it out of the park.

I got it after reading all the positive comments.. And it was a huge mistake. Artificial smell, very sweet and strong. gave it few chances and said my goodbyes to it. I would call it scratchy.

Smells like baby powder , Also Extremly sweet scent

I wasn't sure if I like Scandal enough for FB so I got this. I don't like the opening. It gets better after a while and has good performance. Scandal is better of course. But this is obviously good for the price and many pricey fragrances can envy it. Bottle is cool including cap.

I love this perfume, it's definitely one of my absolute faves, and I have about 30 fragrances or so. I always mix this with Pink Sugar and it really brings out the almond and creates an intense cherry smell 😍 After a few hours - to me at least - it smells pretty much just like Girl of Now by Elie Saab, but without the patchouli. I go nose blind to that one after a couple of hours though, whereas the combo of Shock in Scent and Pink Sugar, I can detect for hoooouuuurs!

Upon first spray, I get the scent of a freshly opened bag of gummi bears or worms :). It becomes more of a sweet amber floral after time. This is a feel good fragrance for me. For what it’s worth, I’ve had a stranger compliment this fragrance before, so it obviously has decent projection. I wore it last night after my shower and smelled it strongly on my long sleeve near the wrists when I woke up, and it lingered lightly on my skin. Pretty impressive actually.

The beauty of this is in the dry down. At the top, its a sickly sweet, somewhat fruity mess. But oh the dry down is so worth it

JPG Scandal by night was my signature scent for years, I was looking for a dupe and so I bought this one. Unfortunately this is NOT like jpg by night, I get the similarity but for me it really isn't. I think it should have more honey, cherry and patchouli? If anyone has any suggestions on how to layer this one to make it better, I'd love to hear from you!

Im so happy I tried this on! Its like scandal by night (my fav one! Discontinued!) I have one backup scandal bottle but now I have also shock in scent. Love it! But that cap...really? Ouch..

Sweet honey perfume that's very lovely! This is one of my most loved perfumes, I can absolutely wear this any time. Honey, amber and fragrant white flowers, and its longevity and sillage are killer too! What's not to love? <3

If you want scandal in your collection but don’t want to pay that price, this is a spot on dupe. I honestly cannot tell them apart! Very soft floral in the beginning with wafts of amber and citrus. And of course a honey bomb!!! I honestly like this one more than scandal. Plus, this lasts an eternity and leaves a scent trail everywhere you go! The only thing I dislike about this perfume is the dog on lid to the bottle. It has spikes and it hurts to take off. I had to take the lid off with my shirt.

I have JPG Scandal and Scandal By Night and this beauty smells like them both. Blind buy based on the reviews here, and the fact that the JPG fragrances are so expensive. Very successful purchase at less than 1/3 of the price. A very happy shopper here!

One gripe is that awful lid. I mean what bright spark would come up with an idea like that? Definitely some kind of sadist. I mean who wants to get a puncture every time they want to apply perfume? SMH 🤦🏽♀️

Damn! This is goooooood! Lots of honey, amber, Jasmin, and non screechy white florals. I Definitely don't have anything that smells like this! It's really beautiful!

Better performing version of scandal by night at a steal of a price✨

This one is just so mediocre. It is just a typical warm, amber, and boring scent to me. It smells nice but nothing special. I also hate the bottle cap with the spikes.

updated review : let it sit for a few months didn't even touch this and now I'm getting all that honey sweetness. this is so pretty and definitely not for everyone but I love love love it. it seems they've discontinued this? would be a damn shame if thats true.

This was a blind buy based on reviews and the fact that I love JPG perfumes. This one is sweet and I can smell the honey, it lasts for a long time and was a great price! One of my faves.

Smells extremely close to Scandal. I own Scandal and Scandal by Night. SBN is one of my fav scents, and while this is close, it isn’t exactly a dupe. It much more closely resembles Scandal, which is more honey. Except this frag doesn’t have patchouli, which in my opinion makes Shock better. The patchouli in Scandal ends up turning a bit musky on my skin. Shock stays cleaner and fresher, which is where the Scandal by Night comparisons come in. It isn’t as cherry-sweet at by night, but it’s still close. Shock is also stronger and longer lasting. Plus it’s so affordable! I doubt I’ll buy more Scandal. I know I’ll remain a super fan of By Night and probably save it for date nights, but this will suit me well for daytime wear. Very successful blind buy, I can’t imagine any scandal lovers disliking this scent unless they are designer label-snobs.

Amazing buy for the price. This is a honey amber floral bomb. Super strong and very long lasting. It is similar to Scandal but with a added Olympea type vibe coming through also. Something I've noticed about Police fragrances is that they always seem to take inspiration from various perfumes and make their own unique versions. Love it and would 100% repurchase if I ever make it through the potent big bottle I have.

Unlike Scandal, something in this gave me an immediate headache.

I love JPG Scandal by Night but did not want to fall into the EvilBay blackhole looking for backup bottles, so I very reluctantly blind purchased this.

This is a true dupe - it's not even up for debate. I challenge you to find someone who disagrees. Of course there are slight differences. Police is less complex and more linear. It's stronger and projects more. It's even sweeter than JPG. It's younger and smells cheaper. I sprayed this once and the scent filled my entire room. JPG has good longevity, but it is more of a skin scent, due to the heavy base notes.

This is a love. It's so cheap and performs well. I hate the lid - who thought having spikes all around the cap was a good idea? It's still a love.. totally worth the pain.

Update - I still like this, but it does definitely smell cheaper than jpg. I think I like how the jpg is more rounded and develops on my skin. This is quite sharp and linear.

This is a lovely perfume! Delicious floral, fruity gourmand fragrance. This one opens up well with the bergamot and almonds. In the heart, there are jasmine, white flowers, and ylang-ylang. The dry down is all about the amber, honey, and Orris root. Powerhouse performance with the great longevity and the superb projection. This is such a well-blended, high quality, a surprisingly pleasant fragrance that is more suitable in fall and winter in my opinion. This reminds me of the JPG Scandal but with better longevity. Masterpiece!

It can be a bit overwhelming and too much for me as it is very sweet and potent but if you like Scandal then you will like this

I bought this instead of scandal because it doesn't have wood or patchouli in the base . I have never experienced a purfume this powerful. If the sun was made of white flowers , honey and almonds it would be this scent! It goes on so bright and strong and stays that way for a good 4/5 hours then starts mellowing into a softer honey-almond mixture. After 19 hours I can still smell it and I only used 2 sprays lol. This stuff is like a supernova in a bottle with zero wood or muskiness. I haven't tried scandal yet so not sure if this is a dupe but I can't imagine it smelling or performing better than shock in sense.

A complete dupe of JPG Scandal by Night with an even stronger cherry note which makes it slightly different in the dry down and better, was hoping it would smell like the original more and not the by night version because i like the original way more but it's still really good and so much better for your 💰!! 😍

I own both and kind of regret buying scandal sometimes because this is way cheaper lol but scandal has that gorgeous bottle and feels so luxurious when applying it, so why not hahah.

As other people have said this is a lot like Scandal and Scandal By Night. Which I love and are among my favourite perfumes.
Side by side they are almost identical. I'd say the honey is stronger here and I find it actually lasts a lot longer on the skin than the JPG perfumes which are slightly softer. I sprayed mine in the morning and could still smell it in bed and the next morning on my wrists.
The silage isn't huge but that's the same as the JPG originals. It's an intimate perfume. I can't stop smelling myself when I wear it.
On my skin it starts with the beautiful musky white flowers and then the honey amber scent remains on dry down with a touch of powder. For a fraction of the price of Scandal, longer lasting and just as delicious, I'd probably say I prefer shock-in-scent.
The only downside is the bottle top. It was on so tight and because of the spikes it was really hard to take the lid off! But it was worth it. 😂

In the spring, honey hits me. Again, I dug up my jar of honey and since I am an adult, my sticky but mature honeys moves to my dressing table. Still, I can’t ignore this as an excellent honey scent. This is sticky, youthful and really this doesn’t smell cheap! If I were 20, I would paint myself with this and walking out of the nightclub with a handful of bees after me. You can put Scandals alongside with this one and see it. For myself, I choose So Scandal because to me, Tuberose makes an adult. I recommend this to try, the price is ridiculous.

This is a cute perfume. On me it smells like a bag of Welch's fruit snacks upon initial spray.
However I'm finding with the police perfumes, you really have to give them 10 minutes because they change pretty dramatically. Even within writing this the fruit snack vibe died down and now it smells very much like baby powder. I feel like these fragrances from Police probably differ pretty insanely on different bodies.
30 minutes later it's slightly reminiscent of l'interdit intense, but doesn't smell as good.
Lasting power is poor, 2 hours with 3 sprays.

I'm back to update that this is the first perfume in the history of my life that I think might just be too sweet for me. That fruit snacks baby powder vibe just shines through on my skin. Over all this house was a major failure for me, all the perfumes I tested smelled cheap and gave me a headache.

This smells just like JPG Scandal for me. I'm really happy with it. It's super strong and loud like Scandal as well, for half the price or less if you can find a better deal than I did. I've had bad luck in the past with perfumes that people compare to designer fragrances, so the fact that this actually smells just like Scandal is awesome.

Edit: When I woke up this smelled like I had just sprayed it on even though I sprayed it on a couple hours before bed. This has beast mode lasting power for me.

Edit 2: I ended up giving this away because once my nose got used to it, it started to smell too ambery and animalic in the dry down. It smells like cinnamon mixed with amber. It's not awful but the opening is so insanely sweet and beautiful that the dry down is a huge disappointment and I don't want to have to respray this every time I want to smell the beautiful opening.

This is another bargain bin find for me. It starts out a little rough, but within half an hour or so the almond, jasmine, amber, iris, and honey blend together into gooey sweetness, And it's not too sweet, surprisingly. There is a "dirty jasmine" type element that almost has a smoky quality, and it's very strong. I have not tried Scandal so I can't say how close it is to that one, nor can I say that most guys who appreciate unisex scents that would be similar to this would find it to be wearable, but I certainly have no issues wearing it around the house when I am in the mood. One of the best "super cheapos," IMO.

I agree with previous comments — it really could be a flanker of JPG Scandal. It's a bit lighter, but still really sweet and gourmand perfume. Also, I found some similarities to the new YSL Black Opium Illicit Green. It's not the same, but it has a similar vibe — sweet amber with a bit of freshness.

Wow -- this is a *spot on* dupe for JPG Scandal!! I've done a side-by-side comparison, and I honestly am hard-pressed to identify the difference between them! This is amazing! Shock-in-Scent is gourmand honey and amber, with some citrus and spiciness to it. It's a powerhouse, for sure -- one spray is in-your-face with its presence, and it lasts and lasts and lasts. Because it's so strong, it's not office friendly -- it's much better suited for an adventurous night out. It's a great value and well worth the money (and an enormous savings over Scandal). I love it!!

Shock In Scent is an accurate name for this juice. The first blast is loud and in your face. I initially smelled thick cough syrup and was prepared to be disappointed. Shock, full of surprises she is, continued to develop and the almond, honey, and florals, came bursting through. My oh my, I was in a state of well…shock! I like her! Sweet, unapologetic, and long lasting. I enjoy the honey note because it’s actually present and isn’t fleeting. I’d definitely recommend you pick this up if you’re on the hunt for a honey fragrance that projects.

If it smells like pee, does it mean that it's gone off, or is it really supposed to smell this way? I see I'm not the only one who detects the urine note. I know I checked out these reviews before purchasing. There are not may perfumes that I dislike so I must have been of the mindset that this couldn't possibly happen to me. I was wrong.
EDIT: So if you think this is repulsive right out of the bottle, you might want to think about giving it a month and trying it again. I'm telling you, first impression was that is smelled like an outhouse. It is lovely now! Yes, it's been a shock in scent from beginning to end. Quite a ride!
SECOND EDIT: Ok, the urine is still faintly there, lying underneath the beauty of the scent. It's nowhere as strong as it was, but enough that I'm afraid to spray more than the one time. I may try layering this with something else.

I thought Shock in Scent would be the epitome of Claire from Pretty Smart. Fresh, pretty and fun with just a touch of honey but an emphasis on the top and heart notes.

Instead, Shock in Scent is more like Grant - eye candy that is surprisingly deep and interesting. Predominantly honey, this scent could almost be unisex. It is vaguely nutty with minimal florals.

Three sprays on my arm are still going strong several hours after testing and I am thankfully not detecting the harsh headache inducing note I have experienced with other Police fragrances.

Feminine and very signature scent

LOVE this scent! It is one of the few perfumes that I can smell ALL of the notes listed in the fragrance pyramid. YES, it is a close relative of the Scandal line by JPG. Re. Scandal and Scandal a Paris and on the first spray they are identical. Skin chemistry plays a big part in your experience. Some days they are truly identical, and SIS is to me the better fragrance, on some days, considering price point and quality! Given my skin chemistry, some days, SIS performs better than the JPG Scandal line, and some days the opposite! I have no explanation. I just enjoy them both, with SIS the winner due to price point and decent quality.

At first it was white flower and ylang ylang overload, and I was wondering who would call this a gourmand!
But, give it 5-10 mins and the honey comes out.
For the price it’s an easy to wear, flowery honey inoffensive perfume.
The drydown is pure sweet warm honey.

This is a honey bomb! Soooo much honey in here! It projects very loudly and last for a long time. One spray is enough imo. Initial spray smells like honey mixed in grape juice for some reason. Def a bang for your buck kind of perfume if you’re a fan of honey. But if honey is not your cup of tea then steer clear!! I’m not a huge fan of honey myself, which is why im still debating to keep it or let it go. But the great longevity, sillage and price point is what’s stoping me from letting it go lol

This is JPG Scandal in a different bottle and with reduced price tag.

This is extremely similar to Scandal. On some days it also reminds me of Scandal à Paris.
Opening is fruity, then I detect the jasmine (depending on the day it's very present or barely there?) and the drydown is just pure honey 😍. Basically the notes are very accurate.

It's also long-lasting and has great sillage, especially for the price! It's actually my number one fragrance. If I had to keep only one bottle it would be this.

The cap is a pain but I'm okay with that 😂

This smells almost EXACTLY like JPG Scandal. I own both and I honestly don’t think I’d be able to tell these two apart just by smelling it in the air. They’re both sweet honey floral bombs (super heavy on the honey), extremely loud and projecting. This honestly SUCKS, I was debating btwn buying either Scandal or Scandal By Night and I chose Scandal which I regret so much now because I’ve discovered it smells practically the same as this 😭. It’s gorgeous but totally redundant to own both 🥲😒

I recieved my bottle yesterday and I must say this stuff is strong but I was expecting it to be more of a gourmand scent but I donna why it develops as a typical generic floral scent on my skin. I prefer sweet fragrances as zara rich warm addictive and zara nuit rather then generic floral. but it is cheap I have no regrets buying this.

edit:- ohhh boii this fragrance is just honey paradise do not judge this with first sniff like i did. this is indeed a super strong and expensive smelling fragrance with decent sillage. Its addictive. absolutely a 10/10

Absolutely adore this scent, pure honey and almond gourmand paradise. The bottle is absolutely gorgeous too, love the purple colour and spiky lid. I'm so thankful I brought the 100ml, Police yet again never fail to impress me. 💜💜💜

On my skin smells like pee after one hour, on clothes its alright but the scent itself is too warm for me :/ same vibe as scandal by jpg, not a fan

I did not like this fragrance initially. After trying this on for two days I changed my mind.This is an extremely sweet fragrance. Syrupy sweet honey and amond-y heaviness. It's warm and rich. For the first 10-20 minutes it feels like it is just a monotone gourmand fragrance but then you get hints of white flower powderiness. Flowers of jasmine and Iris blooming in the depths of a lake made of honey and syrup. Do not buy this if you do not like sweet gourmand fragrances. For the price it's worth a try and I do not regret the blind buy.

I cannot believe this was £15 on Amazon Prime, wore this all day in hot and sweaty London town and OMG the most beautiful smell wafted all around me- in fact I can still smell it around me now after cleaning and hoovering some 12 hours after spraying…I kept thinking ‘what is that divine, heavenly smell?’ and then realised it was this layered over my gardenia scented coconut body oil :)
This works so well for me and is just as good as any of my TF, high end, niche, or arabic gems imo. Can’t smell any bergamot, thank goodness- it’s migraine inducing for me, instead this is jasmine & ylang ylang DRENCHED in honey rounded off with a touch of spicy patchouli.
I love a sweet scent with an edge and this ticks all the boxes for me, added to my daily rotation next to Alien and Rouge 540.
As others have mentioned, the lid is basically a bed of nails but the juice inside is worth it.
So happy I found this via Fragrantica - who doesn’t love a bargain of this quality?

Wow. I am 3 hours in on this baby and it’s still absolutely gorgeous. Deep, sweet honey almond amber goodness. It projects, it’s strong and it lasts so keep that in mind - I sprayed once sparingly on each wrist and it is projecting. I haven’t smelled Scandal but this is amazing. The cap is weird but easily ignored for how beautiful the fragrance is.

ETA: I compared this with Kim K’s honey fragrance. KK is greener, like clover and honeycomb. It made me realize how much sweeter and sultrier SIS is. I love it.

Very interesting scent. Has fore vibes of ES Girl of Now and also JPG Scandal....yet it is different....and I prefer this one to those.
I do get a light honey and almond in this, as well as ylang/citrus and iris/florals....then ambery vibe mixed in. More almond comes out in the dry down.

A big "like" so far. This also performs rather well. Easier to wear than JPG Scandal..IMO....? Scandal is more "in you face"...Police Shock is more slimmed down.

Wow, this is gorgeous! It's the best dupe of JPG Scandal. I like Scandal, but not enough to buy a full bottle, so this satisfy my craving for it. It's not syntethic to my nose at all. Should I mention how affordable this is? I've paid 5 € for 50ml, a bargain.

I’ve never smelled Scandal but this fragrance is just amazing.
Very bold and strong at first, but it dries down to a very sweet powdery scent just after a few minutes.
For some reason i don’t really smell any honey but a lot of amber, sweet nice amber.
Haven’t really had the chance to try it that much but a single spray already lasted +6h on my skin and i can tell the performance would be great.
I love it!
Also it’s a pretty cheap fragrance but that doesn’t mean it smells cheap, it smells very elegant actually.

this is disappointing me more and more. where would i start. when i purchased it for Christmas it was an awesome scent with awesome quality - very strong and sweet and similar to Scandal. now, a few month later after storing it in the original box in a dark drawer while not using it u finally had the opportunity to wear it but: to my shock this turned into a completely different scent - the sweetness is gone, the amazing silage and longevity gone, the pleasant dry down gone and I'm left with a bitter non pleasant smell which i can't recognize anymore and which disappeared (thankfully) in 30minutes. what happened? now i know why this is so cheap. the quality is only for a very short time maybe 2 month max and then it turns immediately no matter how right u r storing it

I am quite in shock of the price/quality ratio of this particular perfume. Sadly I have never smelled scandal, so I cannot compare. But this starts with a realistic, almost obnoxious honey mixed with indistinct white floral notes. Then a bit of almond. The intense sweet honey diminishes over time, but never disappears. I'm glad because it smells great, but the first 30 minutes or so are very intense, like you just poured honey on yourself, maybe a bit much even, if you aren't a huge honey fan. The dry down is honey and almond floral, very sweet and comforting smell, AMAZING longevity and sillage. Seriously, I sprayed this at 8.30am and it's 5pm now and I still get wafts of this without having to stick my nose to my wrist. It was very cheap, I think I payed around 10 dollars for 100 ml. Crazy. Police are doing it right!

A cross between Forbidden, the play-doh lactonic perfume/ Girl of Now, and Varens d'Orient Amethyst, aka lighter version of Fleur De Femme. (Girl of Now being like a baby of Forbidden by Police and Poison Girl with more almond). I havent smelled Scandal but I believe based on the reviews that it must be a thick sweet scent, syrupy, decadent and heavy. These scents I mentioned, Varens d'Orient Amethyst, PG and FDF all have orange/mandarine, rose and almond creating this contradicting sharp scent which is the essence of them, like a sharp note on the piano.
Here I get some of that sharp melancholy tone as well (not as strong though) and must be the jasmine/almond blend, as I find it in the Varens perfume and in Fleur De Femme.

The Honey comes off very dusty and sunny on my skin along with the Ylang Ylang, kinda high pitched and bright, it is weird how I get this feeling smelling my arm. It is the sensation that you are in a sunny kitchen,direct hot sun light coming in, short yellow curtains on the window, fresh cut white flowers on the table, a jar full of honey and a plate of marzipan. And lets take it a step further cuz this scent is so damn extra... I imagine myself biting on some Bergamot spoon sweet, the addicting candied Bergamot I grew up with in my culture. Bliss! The Orris Root is the villain here once again, it gives me that thick powdery and earthy effect. Made from the Iris or violet flower, as I've read, Orris root is a strong note. I get that exact same contradicting element from Live Irresistible Delicieuse: the milky (from almond) smokey sweet (caramel), kinda green earthy scent (orris) almost like oud. Like identical to the orris here, quite nauseating there and "too much" due to the cherry and caramel. And I had guessed it's the Orris behind it, yeap. Here it is more mellow, but damn that honey sweet milky smokey earthy vibe is the foundation of this fragrance. Shock-in-Scent has a beautiful play-doh almond throughout even tho its at the top, I love it, Im a crazy almond lover and Police never disappoints in the almond department. At the drydown the dusty sunny elements are not so overpowering, I still get the syrupy honey note when I smell my skin up close, but the projection is creamy and smooth. The ambery almondy and kinda smokey aftermath is worth waiting for. Overall on my skin it is a more spicy, thick and more sinful Forbidden with a bit of a masculine side. Forbidden to me is a tomboy scent, I dont find it overly girly despite the sweet elements, but this is Forbidden with an androgen problem haha like me.

So it lasts 8+ hrs on me. After 5+ hrs when I no longer smell the almond it has a soft masculine feel to it, similar to Sweet Girl's Police or Rogue's (different perfumes though) . Ive noticed, Ylang Ylang, Bergamot, (White flowers) Jasmine and Orris are notes used in male perfumes as well (Boucheron Pour Homme and others). I dont mind it at all since the almond is so strong, even tho I dont like masculine scents, this is perfect for fall and winter. Comforting and cozy. That cap tho hurts my hand!!

smells like a lovechild of Olympea (amber+jasmin+salt) and Scandal (honey+gardenia). not as sweet as Scandal because of the salt. not bad but i prefer the sweetness of the original Scandal. on the other hand i prefer my salty Olympea without honey. seems like the creators tried to kill two flies with one hit - to get fans of both Olympea and Scandal on their side as potential buyers. 😅😆

I bought this because I have scandal and love it but don't want to use it too quickly as an everyday perfume

Sorry guys I know am a little late but I haven't smell Scandal, so I can't tell if it smells similar. However, this to me smells like pee mixed with honey. And 🙈 sorry for hurting people's feelings. I hope Scandal smells better than this.

I would have loved an unapologetically honey perfume, this is not that. I get 'assorted white flower', possibly some honey suckle and possibly some jasmine. Honey mixed into warm water.

This scent is beautiful! £15 for 100ml and it smells exactly like Scandal! On me there’s no Elie Saab resemblance, just a very strong, very linear Scandal scent it’s so so so gorgeous, very strong honey and jasmine. I can’t stop smelling this, it’s addictive.

I keep reading people comparing this to JPG scandal, I agree the opening of honey is very similar but once dried down they smell nothing alike. I’m actually wearing this on one wrist & Ellie Saab girl of now on the other, and I’m blown away by the similarity’s. Barely any difference at all! Beautiful fragrance! Amazing value for the price! Would I recommend? Hell yes I would! Definitely one il be keeping in my collection.

Smelling this from the bottle, smells exactly like YSL Black Opium to me. I've never smelled a fragrance closer to that scent in my life, and I've tried quite few dupes. After an hour or so, it starts to smell like Scandal on me, both are very similar in my opinion. It's an excelent perfume for the money. Sexy, feminine, intense, strong, lasts a long time and projects quite far. Men will like this. Perfect for autumn and winter!

This perfume has something to say. The price is so cheap and the smell is bomb. Good for evening party or clubbing as this is some kind of scent like ''girls just wanna have fun''

Oh god... HORRID. It’s as if scandal and olympea had a baby; I HATE olympea that freshness to it is disgusting to my nose - actually makes me feel ill. This just smells of pure honey on first spray then it settles down into that olympea base. Can’t stand it, message me if you want it because I’ll happily sell it to you for barely any money lol

If Jean Paul Gaultier's 'Scandal' and Elie Saab's 'Girl of Now' had a baby...her name would be 'Shock-In-Scent'!

Remove the patchouli and waxiness from Scandal and add the buttery-nuttiness of 'Girl of Now' this is it.

The opening of this scent is so flippin' delicious and seductive. It's fruity and a bit nutty. I know the notes say 'bergamote' but the opening really reminds me of a slightly sour pear with honey and nuts. In 2 hours it settles into this delicious honey with complimenting florals and slightly powdery orris, which reminds me SO MUCH of JPG 'Scandal'. The amber note doesn't emerge until the 7th-8th hour on my skin.

The performance is nuclear: lasts forever on the skin and has fantastic projection. I'd say better performance than Police's 'Forbidden'.

I only have 1 issue with this perfume, and it's the EXACT same issue I had with JPG's 'Scandal'. The drydown after 8 hours (without respraying) turns into a pee scent on my skin. I realised after trying multiple perfumes that the honey note doesn't work well at all on me. However on the 10th hour that pee scent turns into chocolate! Surprisingly pleasant.

This is a high quality, well blended, gorgeous fragrance that I cannot recommend enough to honey and gourmand perfume lovers! Superbly sexy in winter and fall!

My wife loves this stuff, but if you put the cap on too tight, you will tear your hands to shreds with all the dangerous and very sharp points while trying to take it off!

Look at the stock photo. Those little needle points you see are stinging sharp ... like itty-bitty razors!

Barring that, this is a wonderful, deep, sensual scent. Police comes through most of the time, for men AND women both, with fragrances that are unique, of high-quality, and simply heavenly. Shock-In-Scent is one of them!

It smells exactly like a cup of hot water mixed with a big spoon of honey and a lemon cough drop. I hoped for more almond but I can hardly detect it.
The longevity and projection are above average on my skin. Spray carefully it is kind of heavy.

Sweet honey and bright citrusy white flowers, has a mix between Alien and JPG Scandal-- creamy and fresh sambac jasmine. I picture a sunny breeezy morning in summer while i smell this.

Blind bought this perfume and love it! In 112 degree heat it projects about arm’s length and lasts about 4 hours on me.

At first spray I was startled at fruity opening zero citrus but within ten minutes it dried to a powdery sweet scent with hint of incense or smoke maybe. I live in Arizona desert with dry heat so this changed to different stages fast and stayed strong after one spray. You cannot overspray this perfume in heat or you will choke everyone around you!

Mid range is a honeyed floral with my skin changing it to a little dirty (honey reacts that way on me). Not animalic but hint of skin scent after sex. Base of amber, orris root & honey arrives fast and stays sweet but not sickly sweet. Good fall scent but I’m testing in summer.

This was a good purchase and I like the purple bottle better than this brand’s skull bottles. I will probably save this scent for late fall when our temperatures to 90s.
