Infusion de Mimosa by Prada is a Floral fragrance for women. Infusion de Mimosa was launched in 2016. The nose behind this fragrance is Daniela (Roche) Andrier. Top notes are Anise and Mandarin Orange; middle notes are Mimosa and Rose; base note is Woody Notes.

The collection Les Infusions de Prada, symbol of Italian excellence, offers refined fragrances of distinctive character and focuses on the main ingredient of each release. Each of the scents from the collection reveals a different personality and brings a sense of confidence through its subtle intensity.

The new edition for 2016 comes out in the spring, dedicated to the sunny and tender mimosa blossom. Infusion de Mimosa consists of essences of anise and mandarin in the top notes, with the floral heart of mimosa and rose absolute resting on a subtle woody base.

The vintage fragrance bottles of the collection are decorated with the fashion house’s classic emblem, designed by Mario Prada in 1913. Available as a 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

Very bright and refreshing floral fragrance. The mimosa dominates from the beginning with zingy mandarins. Think about the whole mimosa flowers and stems in field the has some roses around. Imagine it as it had been baking under the hot summer sun for hours before a cooling breeze comes through to bring it to your senses. This would be perfect for an elegant and smart person that has manners and etiquette. This would be favorable in the high heat and humidity of the tropical summer as it becomes very diffusive and alluring.

Luilind

I love this fragrance. The mimosa and rose creates a beautiful symphony, it’s powdery yet elegant and modern.

It has the same vibe as Touche Finale by Jovoy, yet Infusion de Mimosa is brighter and sweeter.

Coppersulfate

linear and smells like zwitsal (dutch baby powder) but i still like it. sometimes the scent does hit the back of my throat which is WEIRD. its wearable in winter. Idk what else to say its really not amazing but it is classy i suppose. I would have never bought this if it wasnt on heavy sale

LSAUG

I have better mimosa's in my collection. This is a bit weak and watered down. If you want strong mimosa's that have that yellow pollen in an open field vibe I would suggest Providence Perfume's Love in a Mist or Sonoma Scent Studio's Bee's Bliss instead. This is pretty, noticeable but very "gentle." A bit to watered down for my taste.

Elena_Dz

If only this perfume would have some life in it. I have purchased a full size bottle on a whim and I still absolutely love the scent, but regret the lack of longevity and silage. Smells like clean skin but better, soft and gentle. Still, Infusion d'Iris is better value for money.

Kate_the_Iris

I like the longevity of this perfume – smells for days and days on your clothes.

If you are into soft, soapy scents – Prada Mimosa is for you. However, I prefer more feminine versions of mimosa, such as the one Gucci does (Winter’s Spring). Prada is still a bit too unisex for me. I also find it to be more suitable for older women.

I see how some people can smell baby wipes in it, but that is the problem with the baby products companies :D They take those beatiful perfume scents and now we begin to associate perfume with the wipes and not the other way around.

"Gentle morning sunshine when a glimpse of light hits your skin in the morning.
The Moment was so Ethereal and Innocent, how can this encapsulate just that?"

Infusion de Mimosa, smell like a ray of light.
You could wear this either in spring or gloomy day.
It likes you bathing in the gentle morning sunshine.

Got this for my wife as part of a set and she hates it. I kinda like it but it does REALLY smell like diapers and baby wipes. Longevity is actually outstanding. Lasts forever.

I purchased a kit of .27 oz Prada Infusion minis (along with a set of 3 .33 oz rollerballs from the Candy collection) and they arrived today. It's a lot to get to know, so I tried one I never experienced, which is this one - the Mimosa. So far I am REALLY pleased with it! I'm not a huge mimosa lover, though I certainly don't dislike it in most fragrances. Though this isn't quite a proper test, my initial impression is that this may end up being one of my favorite mimosa scents ever. The unfortunate part is that I can already tell it is fated to have poor longevity.
My bottle is a dabber. Once I do a proper test, I'll update, but based upon first impressions, this may be FBW for me.

EDIT 10/17/22 - purchased a full bottle (tester) that arrived today!! It's so frustrating because I love the scent but like all the Infusions I have or have tried, my skin devours it and it is a complete skin scent. Of course, it needs to sit a while after it's journey, but I don't know if that will help too much. It never helped with my Iris. I will say though that I used to have a full bottle of the Orange Blossom many years ago, and while I could barely smell it, I had a client tell me how good I smelt after 8 hours.
Is it possible to be anosmic to a specific brand? All Pradas I own give me problems and yet I still purchase them because they smell so good while they last and I love Daniela Roche Andrier.

This smells like the most expensive face cream, so soft, so creamy, so natural smelling! this is a true gem. True natural mimosa flower smell. Wonderful in a soft, feminine, quiet way. Sexy? no...not really...more like a warm motherly hug. If you like soft cosmetic scents, creamy lotion scents, if you love yellow flowers you will love this.
I have a sample for now, might consider a full bottle in the future.

Absolutely divine and heavenly. Smells so soft, so pastel and subtle. I don't think I ever smelled a mimosa soliflore so beautiful. +

KöbiD

This fragrance has an aura of cleanliness and freshness. I must say that I love the mimosa essential oil, especially its combination of sweet and green notes. Unfortunately, I am missing that interplay in this fragrance. I even go so far to say that, to me, it does not smell very much like mimosa and that it has an unpleasant sharpness.

kkaattjjeess

It smells like summer! A very soft and delicate powdery and soapy yellow-floral scent, sits close to the skin (I'd say even closer than Jo Malone's one), it won't offend anyone (partly because of the inoffensive scent but also others probably won't smell it on you unless you overspray aggresively). The type of perfume you wear for yourself only.

RisingChaos

Atop the Infusion line's signature very soft powder, slightly soapy base, this opens with effervescent yellow florals. While it has a fresh fizzy mandarin top, beneath that is a dry bouquet of pollinic mimosa, a touch of honey, and what I perceive as a slightly unpleasant cleaner residue that slowly dissipates deeper in the drydown. Soft projection for 2-3hr, longevity 8-10hr.

Cherry_Darling

Beautiful, fresh, citrussy dewy powdery mimosa. Smells like spring! The anisseed grounds it into an earthy realistic scent. Gorgeous.

This is GORGEOUS. Realistic creamy mimosa in summer heaven. I think it is expensive for what it is, but when you find love you have to go all the way.

ilayda

This is such a gentle delicate scent that its fleeting and does not stick around for long. It reminds me of youth and delicate small flowers. Definitely a happy sunny spring or summer day scent that wont offend most noses. Its a subtle scent so most will just find you smell clean, but if its freshly applied I find it smells mostly of the mimosa flower.

Lsg5200

There's lot of heliotropin, anisaldehyde and an obvious note of anisyl acetate, definitely fits the name of the fragrance but not my favourite.

Bouquet Bleu

Sharp alcoholic opening but realistic, fluffy and delicate mimosa. No sillage and poor longevity. A scent for oneself but to remain unscented to others.

Lovely_D

This scent is so delicate it has a dreamy, fairytale-like quality to it. It reminds me of being comfortably wrapped in warmth on a beautiful summer day. If the scent could be described as a color, it would be yellow, just like the flower it was named after. No matter what mood I'm in, this fragrance has the power to lift my spirits and make me feel innocent again.

Boireen

This is absolutely stunning! I can not get enough of this fragrance, the scent of mimosa (or as we call it in Australia wattle) is pure perfection. The longevity is exceptional and silage excellent as well. Am thinking this might just be my new signature. Love! love! love!

Lalouve<3

This is disgusting- that mimosa note obviously (I have never smelled the actual flower) gives a dirty sickly sweet smell that stays in the back of your throat and sticks to your skin even if you try to wash it off. Awful blind buy this one. I love iris, fleur d'orangeur, oeillet, amande, vetiver and the cedar of the line, I dislike the rose (but ok, I don't like rose as a main note in perfumes) and I absolutely hate this.Hate.

lillybethholmes

I'm on day 3 of my Infusions testing (Iris and Amande are in the bag and firm wins), today is Mimosa. This seems more fleeting than either of the others. It is an extremely pretty, delicate, clean, a touch soapy floral. A bit of creaminess in the base and a fresh sharpness at the top. It's very enjoyable but I had to put SO MUCH on to get even the merest skin scent. I only have a dab-on tester and would love to know how these infusions sit when sprayed so they touch on hair and clothes as well. I like this, I just wish there was "more" in the juice.

Fleurie20

If you like this but are looking for a dupe w proper longevity and sillage of a perfume, I would suggest Amouage Love Mimosa. Yes the two smell quite different when first spray (mostly due to the mandarin note of Prada, which is very prominent on me initially - the same way it is in Infusion d'iris and infusion de roses), however as they settle they both become this beautiful, soft, powdery, bright scent that is so uplifting and feminine. If sunlight has a scent, it would smell like this.

Roclus

I tried it from the sample at the very hot summer day.
It's clean, good smooth soapy not loud, soft, very light, as airy at first sight, and just a little sweet, I think that sweet come from the anise and mimosa that blending is very well. Very nice but not as beautiful. After a quarter, some powder is coming, not very, and then I can smell the sweet of mimosa, that I expected, but just a little ^^. About an hour, I get the woody coming and floral lay back until drydown.
Sillage is soft, I think it's good at spring or not too hot of weather, great for library and office. Longevity is 1-2hours for me, as other of infusion items.

I’m definitely in the minority, I’m afraid. I’ve tried three Prada Infusions - Iris, Fleur d’Orange, Mimosa - and there’s something in all three that “pinches” my nose in an unpleasant way. I want to say there’s an aldehyde-like brightness, but no, that’s not it. Whatever is in all three just won’t dry down or disappear. It’s persistent, even if I shower AFTER putting it on. I couldn’t tell you what the common denominator is in the Infusions, only that there’s some molecule/note that makes me recoil.

EnergeticCrab

Soapy warm florals with a soft powderieness. Fancy gift soaps, almost like Dove. I am reminded of the mansion a childhood friend grew up in: Starched hand towels, stair rugs, antique embroidered doilies, and silver servingware. It has a certain stiff elegance to it that isn't necessarily off-putting. But you can never get too comfortable. It's very "proper". I like it better than I thought but, it's not something I would pursue further.

sibaraa

Yellow powdery scent. A nice one from this line and smells a lot like love mimosa by l'artisan parfumeur.

dsty

I like Infusion de Mimosa very much - how could I not, when it's so recognizably a part of the Infusions line, whose trademark clean, powdery-woody base I'm so fond of? It almost doesn't matter what that base contains, it's so good in and of itself. That being said, I think this is my least favourite one so far. The mimosa note is nice, but I feel there might have been a little more of it; and although there's no denying that the anise note works very well in this composition, and it's worked in in a very balanced way, it's just not my favourite. But as I said, I still like this Infusion very much as well - just like its sisters, it's the kind of subtle yet interesting scent that's perfect for the office, for instance. It's just that I personally would reach for Infusion d'Iris a lot more often, so I think my decant will last me a lifetime.

Papavero0

I had a strange experience with this one. I tried, thought it was light fluffy mimosa, dreamed about having a bottle and using it. Then, when I finally did, the universe decided to play a trick on me. What I thought was going to be a delightful experience, based on my initial test, was about to turn into something unpleasant. I think my nose "translates" those mimosa-anise molecules into acid/urine-like smell. How unfortunate for me. I envy all of you who manage to avoid that unpleasant molecule my nose seems to detect. How strange is the sense of smell... And to think that I have yet to find a natural/realistic-smelling mimosa. Guerlain's "Champs Elysees" was also a disaster for me... I suppose I should just stick to the natural flowers.

cocofluff

I have to admit this one was not an instant love for me, but I like it way more than the Prada Infusions Amande. Mimosa is quite unique among flowers in my opinion. Prada's Mimosa smells like the sticky pollen, waxy petals, and powder that makes mimosa flower bulbs so unique and this scent sits on top of that lovely Prada Infusions DNA. The drydown is like lightly scented cold cream. This fragrance is delightful.

This fragrance definitely has something about it that screams summer and sunny days to me. Low sillage and longevity. I can imagine it blooming wonderfully in a few months. -

deakrek

the comment I've recently received wearing this (from a random guy at a party) was: I don't know if it's your clothes or you in your clothes but I love the way it smells!

lmwimsatt

This has the hallmark prada smell and orange is the key player note here

chanka

I finally got it! what can I saY?
I love infusion iris and I love mimosa this is great combo :)
I know no iris but still it has that infusion style

it is very soft and as all infusions goes away quickly but still I love it

Juma

It's a beautiful fragrance, like a Spring in the bottle. On my skin evolves very natural honied mimosa with fresh spicy orange and Woods.
It reminds a bit of Merveilles of Hermes which are my big love.
When Infusion d'Iris is clean and cold, this is warmer with flowery notes but still Infusion.
I realized I love mimosa and if you want it last longer and have a projection, try Eden, another mimosa "eden" ;-)
Oh, just to add, Prada is becoming my favourite house beside Hermes.

peeachediva

Love, Love, Love!!! The only thing I can say that is negative about it is that it dissapates so quickly. Prada, please either make it stronger, or include an element that would give it staying power! It is beautiful on the spray on. Smells like the outdoors with a beautiful sweetness of wind. SImilar to Apre L'ondee of guerlain. So beautiful, but goes away. On me, it doesn't even stay close on my skin. It just goes away. This is one that is best to enjoy when you are alone. Smell leisurely, then spray something else on yourself that will last longer.

Prade Amande, however, stays a lot longer. I get compliments on Amande, but sadly, no one, including myself, smells the Mimosa Infusion on myself.

Beautiful scent, but goes away very, very, quickly.

Sugandaraja

I'm a big fan of acacia in fragrances, but this one was only OK for me. An acacia note (more so than mimosa to my nose) that's very airy and a little frosty and thin. It dries down to a clean, slightly latex-like white musk (similar to the almond Infusion) after a few hours.

It's quite pleasant and easy to wear, but one of the weaker offerings in this series.

Julie Billi

Linear, soft, ethereal, elegant perfume I loved from first sniff!
I will repeat Tatto LadyK's words as they expressed my feelings too....
"...the juice is amazing, packed with sunshine and memories of strolling the sunny narrow streets of a Greek island, stone houses painted white with blue windows all around you and big flower pots with mimosas and bougainvilleas blooming under the sun..."
I'm Greek and put my signature on this!!

tattoo_ladyk

I want to say that it was love at first spritz, but it was rather more like a fling, because it did not last long. The longevity is low. However, the juice is amazing, packed with sunshine and memories of strolling the sunny narrow streets of a Greek island, stone houses painted white with blue windows all around you and big flower pots with mimosas and bougainvilleas blooming under the sun. Excellent notes and combination.

Ravensaw

Greetings from Canada. The infusion series can be purchased at the bay, in house and online. I originally went in to buy infusion d'iris, the SA slammed me with the Mimosa and I was hooked. It's delightful, delicate and gentle but not shy, she does get noticed

Vgking

SAKS in NYC carries them. Aside from them, I've only seen them at Prada Boutiques

Cams

I'm stunned by this fragrance! I had to try it because it's getting such good reviews and I hadn't purchased Prada for some time. It's delicious! Light but potent and alluring; a refreshing and magical addition to my fragrance collection, which I can still smell on my clothes 24 hours after wearing it. I highly recommend trying this beauty!

Magdalena23

There are perfumes that touch our soul... Perfumes that transport us to different places, different times. Infusion de Mimosa is one of them for me.

Born and raised in the Mediterranean, mimosas are the summer, the sun, the carefree vacations of childhood. These magical little flowers that don't look like flowers, but look and feel like little golden velvet ponpons, so soft and fragrant, always had me mesmerized!

Infusion de Mimosa, with its gentle, smooth, honeyed, sunny and natural scent, takes me back in time and puts a smile on my face.
Innocent and feminine, romantic and dreamy, it's a promise of happiness, a whisper in our ears that all is good in this world... A promise that there will always be sunny days, happy young girls, carefree moments, endless summers, golden sunsets and sweet kisses...

To me, Infusion de Mimosa is the best of the Infusions line, the most natural smelling! Don't expect big sillage or great longevity though. It's mimosa... Mimosa is by nature shy, demure and fleeting. It will be noticed, but it will never impose and "scream" its presence. It will just make everyone around you want to hug you and stay there... Forever!

woodlandwalk

I've just tested it today while perfume browsing!

My initial impression was that it definitely wasn't as appealing to me as the other infusion series, all of which I like, particularly Infusion d'Iris.

Mimosa has a slightly foosty smooth warm peachy floral feel. It has mimosa's softness but it reminded me unfortunately of fruity floral bathroom cleaner gel and tissues - a sort of papery quality. Or a bit like cheap liquid soap maybe. The woody background smells synthetic and generally it's not a patch on the lovely woody/floral/ vetiver/incense tones of IdI, or the soapy low key classiness of Infusion d'Oranger.

The orangeyness appears more into drydown and is quite pretty but not lovely (as for example the gorgeous orangey tones in Eau des Merveille or Hermes creations). The bathroom cleaner aspects calm down into drydown where it becoems prettier. It's not too strong and the longevity seems average

On my other wrist I'm wearing Sur Le Nil by Hermes and the quality is far better. Bit dissapointed in Mimosa, but as always it's all subjective so worth trying.

As mentioned, I love the other infusions!
