jalfrezi

A very light and straight-forward rose/neroli fragrance with moderate sillage and longevity. Sadly, neroli to me smells like BO time and time again, no matter where I encounter it... As much as I love rosy scents, it's a no for me.

Juhhcarneiro2

I love this one, so realistic rose, green, powdery, actually I liked all the infusions I’ve tried, the best are fleur de orange and iris. But this one is so good too, the question is: why it doesn’t last longer? 1h and thats it.

Enrium

Prada Infusions tend to be simple, subtle almost-soliflores, good-quality and effortlessly elegant. Infusion de Rose is no different. A simple, classic rose-led scent, the rose is enhanced by other, well-chosen notes.

IdR is rose-centred from initial spray, the rose note initially dewy. An orange undertone adds bright freshness, becoming increasingly sweet as it develops, the tartness giving way to the more floral neroli. The rose becomes powdery as it develops and the orange subsides, but remains sheer and lightweight. Its green undertone becomes increasingly evident as it fades, rosy until final spray. Sillage is intimate and longevity is moderate. It is a feminine spring/summer daytime scent.

A pretty, pleasant rose scent made from high-quality ingredients, IdR offers timeless, understated elegance, but is perhaps overpriced for what it is. A delicate rose for hot weather. 3/5.

Tara Fiouzi

This is the typical old-fashioned rose perfume. smells very powdery and dated. from this line I only like the Iris one.

This is a very pretty, if somewhat generic, rose fragrance. I have a coffret of the fragrances from the Infusion series, plus full bottles of Iris, Iris Intense, Mimosa, Tuberose, and Fleur d'Orange. They are all lovely, but this collection ranks among the absolute worst for longevity and sillage, at least on me. I get 5-10 minutes, max. Even so, I'm considering adding this to my queue from the subscription service I use!! I'm hoping that this will perform better as a spray rather than a dab on, but I think I'm only fooling myself.
For the love of all things perfume, Prada!! These are magnificent creations. I know they are "infusions" and meant to be light and transparent, but isn't there SOME way you can improve the longevity? I can live with it being a skin scent, but I can't live with having to reapply evert 10 minutes.
Alas, I know that my plea will fall on the deaf ears of TPTB, but I'm desperate here!!

Got this on eBay for a good deal and I really like it. There’s a powderyness to this that reminds me of rosewood by banana republic except this Prada perfume has actual rose in the notes but oddly rosewood doesn’t. It’s like if banana republics rosewood ACTUALLY had a fresh rose note in it. It’s quite pricey unless you can get it for cheap secondhand. I get about 2 hours on my for projection then it turns into a pretty skin sent. I will use the bottle up but likely won’t buy again because I have other rose fragrances I like a bit bitter ( philosophy’s ballet rose and Regime des Fleurs little flower; these have hardly any powderyness and are really fresh wet rose smelling)

First Impression

Rose in Designer way (no means negative) straight Dewy pink rose.
Not a lust full bloom, or deep red rose scent. Mildly sweet, very enjoyable.

This one is less Prada Infusion-Estique, a bit let down.
I imagine, the way they done this in more Orange Blossom or Vanille but no...
And it has tiny bit of date rose profile (sort of rose car freshener) that use so many time in Rose perfume.

Good point that, It has green edge and citrus to lighten the scent.

But consider how’s young and dew for the scent, I can’t give a full Hate.
But nothing else to say either.

Further update: May 05, 2023

I wear this a few times and consider I might give a bit harsh review due to disappointment.
Still, I give this 7/10 but it is actually quite interesting.

It is still clean scent (even this is difference from other Prada Infusion).

It is not actually smell like Car Freshener (Most of Car Freshener smells really bad)
It smells like Crisp Rose, like you use Rose-scented Ironing Starch
and Iron over, resulting in Crisp, Clean, Iron Rose.

Regarding the number spray, this one is light, I go as high as 18 sprays to create nice bubble silage. I think Male user can use this if you do not mind rose.

My Prada Infusion collection will not complete
If I don’t have my favorite flower in most favorite accord, Prada Infusion.

However, my favorite Rose fragrance to date now is La Fille de Berlin by Serge Lutens. Let’s wait and see..

maddy.cucu

Lovely straightforward yet clean and fresh rose. Easy to wear. Bought a jumbo bottle for casual days and the gym!

nickinicole

Heavy rose, perfumey, and dated. I am incredibly disappointed by this scent.

cookygirl

I just adore this fragrance.
We celebrate a sort of Valentine's Day in mid-summer in my country so I took advantage of the sales then to buy a set of Prada Infusion minis.
I've been sampling them over the past month and this and Iris Cedre are my favorites.
I love how the gentle but slightly spicy rose combines with the powdery, irisy Infusion base.
It's a marriage made in heaven.
This dries down pretty quickly to be an intimate skin scent.
Perfect for when you want a discreet but uplifting fragrance.
I think this would be nice in winter too. I can see wearing this year-round..

Pampelmousse

I like this and only this kind of rose perfume. It’s light, it’s “soapy,” like a rose face mist. Mandarin is juicy in the opening, followed by rose jam quickly turned rosewater punctured by the greenness of galbanum. Neroli begins to shine at the heart. It’s out-of-the-shower Prada powder fresh (read: Iris) and perfect as a summer or spring skin scent that your French lover would love.

Hammyt100

I bought this blind because I found a 6.7oz bottle for $88 which is incredible. I figured I would just use it as a linen spray if I didn't like it.

This is extremely delicate. It smells to me like pure rose water. It's very airy and not at all cloying. Very much see through and refreshing.

It doesn't last long or project much, but I really enjoy it. I will still use this as a linen spray because I wouldn't mind if everything around me smelled like this. ❤️

RisingChaos

Atop the Infusion line's signature very soft powder, slightly soapy base, this opens with delicate watery rose. A full rose, green stem and flower both, with a touch of mint and a citric pop from the skin. Like walking through a dewy rose bush and mint garden, very reminiscent of the drydown of ELDO You or Someone Like You but skipping the bitter opening. Minimal initial projection -- can't even overpower my breakfast bacon -- but does get stronger through the first hour before re-fading over 2-3hr, longevity 8-10hr.

Search and Discover

Delicate true rose scent. After spraying, place your nose near your wrist and you'll feel like you're leaning over an unfurling rose bloom on an early morning in June. The air is crisp and dew is still upon the leaves. Just lovely.

However, two minutes later the sun burns off the dew and the scent disappears completely. Very poor sillage and longevity, unlike Infusion d'Iris.

Jasmine Joy

What a gorgeous fragrance! It is light and mild but the scent of roses is so beautiful! Perfect for Spring and Summer. Great job Prada!

floszra

Soapy rosewater type of scent with the typical Infusion Prada undertone. I couldn't resist buying it last spring (it was one of my blind buys I don't regret), can't wait to wear this again. If you love rose in general and Infusion d'Iris, you'll love this too. Sillage and longevity are not bad, it last longer on clothes and hair.

*Updated review based on a 1ml sample*
-Prada infusion de Rose is a clean, natural smelling citrus rose scent.
-Spritz on clothing, it lasts more than 8 hours.
-Performs a lot better than I'd expected for something from the Infusions lineup.
-I get whiffs of rose-infused citrus throughout the day with just 2-3 spritzes.
-However there's something about the cold powdery DNA in Prada perfumes that I can't stand.
-At first glance this might suit a feminine individual of any age (20-60)...but to my nose this comes across...matronly somehow. Overly-clean, this scent brings to mind a lady in her mid forties, with a hair wound up so tightly in a bun that it pulls at the scalp.
-Stern. Matronly. That's the vibe I get from this.
-It would best suit someone who likes their space spotless, and has borderline OCD level of cleanliness. (-)

Lalouve<3

I am one of those people who like the natural rose smell of the flower but have yet to find a realistic rose smelling perfume that isn't too sweet and cloying.

Since I have the Prada Iris and the fleur d'orangeur of the 'Prada les infusions' line, I had high hopes that this would be a soft airy realistic (as can be) rose mixed with iris that would hopefully help as a note towards this cause...

Alas, it is too sweet too jammy and doesn't have the nice airy beauty and sophistication and cleaness of the aforementioned flankers. I have put on way sweeter and cloying rose perfumes than this one, but even this one is too sweet and unrealistic... in a mature old fashioned (eastern) tacky kind of way (as all rose perfumes are, to my nose)... and of course it projects and lasts and I really have to wash it out as best I can with green soap to get rid of it because rose becomes quickly too sweet and cloying...

I honestly thought this would be the one rose scent I could be happy to have in my collection... alas it isn't, and I think I have now officially come to terms with the fact that in the perfume world, rose as a main note isn't my thing...

lillybethholmes

Day 4 of trying Infusions and this is a goody. This is a very dainty, clean whisper of a rose. I often find rose perfumes skate too close to headachey (Ghost a prime example, or Vera Wang Rosebuds & Vanilla) and I have to use them very sparingly, so this is a very welcome, light skin-scent rose with the trademark touch of Prada powder and soap. It's not a sticky and gourmand Turkish Delight, more of a rose-garden-after-rain. As with its fellow flankers, there's absolutely no silage whatsoever, but it's lasted a decent 5 or so hours close to my skin before I want to re-apply. I feel like I'm getting the measure of these soft, sophisticated, elegant skin-scents and I'm really happy with them (except the price, obvs, I'll stick to eBay sniping and decants 😂!)

snowlilly

I find the mandarin note quite strong in this, and I love that about it. It’s what gives it that bright, sparkling quality. I actually think this smells very similar to the Infusion Mandarine, with an added touch of rose, making it a lot more wearable as a perfume.

Siljemariyeah

Simply amazing and well done perfume.
It's elegantnt, sparkly, girly and gentle. Dainty even. A real easy joy to wear. Simple and understated, but actually lingers around for a really long time on me. It's not very complicated but it's very refined to my nose. Beautiful. Could pass for a Chloé flanker pheraps. ( Definitely ligther and airier than Chloe edp). It does lift my mood.
The citrus makes it slightly tart and not "mature" (I don't mind "mature" though). It's light and breezy. Perfect for spring/summer. A bit soapy as well as fresh/watery and a tad bit sweet, but not too much. Not a red rose, rather pink and green. The bottle reflects what's inside perfectly to me.

It doesn't remind me of the iris though.. But it has the elegant, soft and airy quality. Leans very feminine, if one cares about that.

Earlier, I didn't appreciate such perfumes. I only wanted sweet/vanillic or gourmand beasts basically. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
However, after I got covid and suffered from long time hyposmia, parosmia and phantosmia, my taste has changed quite a bit. I've been waiting for the day I could smell even the faintest smell, and when it finally came back a lot of my fragrances smelled off or nauseating.. So I've been getting into lighter smells and found joy since it has opened my nose to a new path. Not as fun for the wallet though. What sucks is that I don't know from day to day or even hour to hour what smells trigger my parosmia. Fresh rose and aquatics seems to trigger it the least though.
I didn't even think I liked rose as a note, but I've learned I really do! (Lol some of my first "real" perfumes I bought myself were the original Tresor, Burberry Body intense and Paul Smith's rose, so that makes zero sense). So I've apparently always liked rose in some variety.

Punkrockbebop

These Prada Infusions are very well done, and classy. This is a bit too girly for me, but it’s gorgeous. It smells like classic makeup powder or blush, but the mandarin and neroli keep it from getting too heavy. It is light and airy, but powdery and sweet. A nicely balanced composition.

Fleurie20

A light and sophisticated rose scent for summer and tropical countries. Despite being a scent for hot climate, this is different from the usual summer staples of citrus, aquatic, fresh scents.

On me it is a very natural, light rose in a dewy green garden in the early morning. Like the rest of the line, longevity isn't impressive and the scent sits close to the skin. It is ok, the Infusion line has never meant to be a show-stopper but rather a very polished, calm, elegant one. You can't offend anyone with such subdued beautifulness.

Give it a try. I should also say I've never been a fan of rosy perfumes.

So

I'm not crazy about it. I liked Iris and I thought I'd buy this one, too. To me, it smells like the rose anointment oil we buy from the local orthodox monasteries (perhaps this is the Bulgarian rose?) with a tiny, tiny touch of citrus. After an hour or so, the rose fades down to a powdery white floral fragrance. I really hoped for a green fragrance, but nope: rose it is!

Roses amour

Beautiful, classical true rose flower scent. Gentle, mellow, sweet, sun-warmed fragrant rose. Soothing, pale pink bliss.

cho-ku-rei

On the lighter, greener side, as opposed to creamy or deep, dark. Fresh and simple. To my mind, it is a bright or light red rose, yet with the subtle suggestion of some more woody or grounded element. Realistic and to my nose, rather linear. Though sweet, there is a cleanness to it.

Could potentially be unisex if layered with something more earthy e.g. vetiver. Tbh I believe almost all fragrance to be unisex, though I understand this is a very subjective thing. Sillage seems ok, I suppose especially compared to Prada Iris (which isn't saying much).

Important caveat: I have only tested this on a paper swatch.

danygurl06

This is my first impression and I’m not impressed with this on my skin. It’s green, watery and barely sweet. I don’t smell the infusion soapy/powdery iris dna like other infusion flankers. I hardly smell the rose. It’s just a soft green scent on my skin. While I’m happy that it doesn’t dry down to an exact copy of infusion d’ iris like some of the others, it isn’t what I was hoping for.

I was hoping this could solve the problems I had with You or Someone Like You by Etat Libre d'Orange. You or Someone Like You has too bright of a grapefruit note. I did get a softer citrus with rose and green notes in Infusion d’Rose. But I wanted a sweeter rose and this isn’t sweet at all. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a nice fresh scent.

I’m finding that I prefer herbal notes to green notes. Green notes smell like walking outside near inedible green plants. Herbal notes have more character. They usually smell like something that comes from a plant that you can actually eat or drink from like mint, tomato or tea leaves. Or chlorophyll leaking on your fingers.

I’ve tried several with similar green notes and none of them are hitting me the right way. Estée Lauder Pleasures and even Cartier Baiser Vole carry that almost boring green note.

MsLittlejohn

Very, very beautiful realistic rose. I smell the stems and leaves, too, in the opening. Love it! A little orange in there... nicely done. I just hope the longevity isn't a let down! We shall see.

Swedelish

Definite fresh rose & orange flower. I smell a little carnation in there, and sticky galbanaum. All around lovely. Not too soapy, not too powdery. A classy, easy, light one for warm weather. Or grey days when you want to create your own sunshine. I don't get aromatic from this. I get fresh red rose, citrus, bitter neroli and plant resin. Undeniably from the Infusions family. Exactly the kind of perfume I enjoy these days so I'm happy to have a bottle.

cocofluff

+ Smells so good...like rose & orris! It's my favorite of the prada infusions line. It smells a bit aseptic which is why I like it because it suits my work environment quite well.

Smells like sweet rose petals blended with neroli and mandarin. There's a hint of mint in the opening too! It smells beautiful and it has that unique and clean prada infusions scent in the background. Sillage and longevity is low but I prefer these delicate scents. The pre-owned bottle I bought smells even better than my fresh decant. Beautiful addition to my collection.

You may enjoy it if you like sweet sparkling rose perfumes with low sillage and low longevity. I like to spray 1-2 times every 4 hours during the day. I'm an undersprayer. 😘

Sunlightlove222

good rose scent. neroli balances it out otherwise it would be too sweet. has a slight powdery quality. not a grandma scent but very close to it.

Syrupsplash

I went on a mission to find a true to life rose frgrance, not just a note but a main event type rose, and stumbled on this. I ended up getting Tea Rose by The Perfume Workshop, Rose by Paul Smith, and Les Infusions de Prada Rose, each from various price points.

PW Tea Tose is by far my favorite, BUT the power of that scent should not be underestimated! I read the reviews that said how strong it was and i doubted it and gave myself 3 good sprays to test it out and OMG its crazy too much!! I have never gotten a headache from perfume before until that scent! EDT? This isnt even more like a EDP and i would put this up there with straight parfume its so strong. The actual scent is vibrant rose bush, juicy and succulent with a good amount of wood. Its absolutely beautiful....in very small doses xD.

I also really loved the Paul Smith Rose, in comparison, i would say that one is less juicy and woody and more powdery, delicate and soft but also has decent sillage, not near as much but very decent.

Les Infusions de Prada Rose was the most expensive and the biggest disappointment. It is more similar to Paul Smith Rose with a little more complexity and a more musk scent, but i dont think it lasted more than an hour or two and had almost no silage.

If you are looking for straight up rose like I was, all 3 were a safe blind buy, but I am thinking Paul Smith Rose was the best middle ground, though i like PW Tea Rose better, it wont be as easy to wear. In comparison to the other two, though I loved the scent, Prada Rose Infusion was a waste of money.

Kots_Tanya

This is the most soft feminine rose/pink rose fresh yet a little sweet with a hint of citrus scent. My only problem is that it goes away so fast. I spray it before bed, and seriously fall asleep sniffing on my wrists

TillyWave

Cedar Galbanum Moss and then Rose

I'm kind of digging on Prada here, but this perfume is a bit...lacking. It's pretty and all but honestly there's a few things wrong with it. First off the rose is buried in other notes, secondly, it only lasts a few hours, and lastly the silage is poor. Maybe I'm an It's Only Worth the Money if You Can Smell Me From Across the Street type of perfume wearer, but still. I expect to be able to smell my own perfume without having to bury my nose into my wrist, especially at these price points.

I mean it's a pretty perfume and there are good things. It's a fruity neroli rose that is in a freshly mulched garden full of cedar chips, surrounded by lots of galbanum. The galbanum is lovely and becomes very earthy and mossy as it wears down. For the first hour the perfume is as pretty as the picture I've just described, a rose surrounded by a lovely garden full of other scents.

The rose is gone in an hour, and so is the orange blossom. The green is there, and it's powdered, and that starts to just fade to an earthy musk that's also gone in about two hours.

The bottle is beautiful but don't drop $100 on a pretty bottle. I ended up with a tester for about half the price and even that's a little much...I'm probably not going to wear this too much. I enjoy the green earthiness of it all but ultimately there's just not enough there, and it wears so quietly that I forget I have it on.

Nil3

The best rose perfumes so far are:

- Blumarine Dange-Rose
- Stella McCartney
- and THIS ONE!!!!

I wonder why D&G werent able to nail the authentic rose scent like the ones I mentioned above in their Rosa excelsa.

Albiretu

Tried this a few times in the store (all the infusions by Prada are still sold in every big perfume store in Italy, and in big department stores), reviewing it after having had it on for a few hours now.
I really don't understand all the love for this perfume, I personally am a fan of rose but I find it bollocks to spend 150€ on a bottle or something that smells like those cheap rose water face sprays. It's greenish/fresh rose water on me when it opens up and it dries down to baby powder, and it sits so close to the skin that you have to sniff so hard to catch a whiff, it would almost look inappropriate if done in public.
Longevity is maybe 3-4 hours, projection and sillage and extremely low.
Absolutely unremarkable to my nose and overpriced. The bottle is pretty but that's about it.
Reading the reviews of the infusions and seeing the photo ads months before finally trying them raised my hopes so high that I'm a bit startled that so many people love them. Infusion d'Iris smells like mouthwash and bug spray to me (I have 4 decants for swap or sale if you need it), iris cedre is like mouthwash and bug spray EDP intense and infusion de rose is meh. The only one that doesn't smell entirely terrible is infusion d'amande. Very disappointed.

grasslands

This is my favourite of the infusion line for summer. It's a dry clean rose with green facets from the very soft galbanum and orange blossom. The mandarin adds a zesty freshness.

It's fantastic in hot weather because it's dry, cool and never splits in the heat. The light projection and longevity mean I can spritz myself to freshen up every few hours and it has very little sweetness so it never gets cloying.

It's not particularly well-regarded by others, but it works a treat for me and it's one of my top ten summer scents.

lmwimsatt

I'm layering this with candy and infusion d Amande. The result is poison girl with musks instead of woods. It's less sweet and more powdery. Great combo!

monbonbon

Dislike.

I regret ever buying this overpriced perfume.... it smells nothing like rose, and a lot like baby powder. Also, even after spraying it on 100x, there is zero projection, no one will smell it unless they’re hugging you..... meh

If anyone wants to do a trade, send over a message :)

JuliaQueen

Very floral and rosy, a tiny bit sweet. It really smells like old fashioned makeup and powder, I want it!

Lilacs&Lavender

A lovely tea rose and surprisingly long lasting on my skin (6 hours +) but not very original. Very similar, but much more expensive than the good old chemist shop staple Yardley's English Roses contemporary edition, which sells for about $170 less. There is something in common with Chanel No.22 as well here. Pretty, but not a patch on the others in the Infusion range.

77Heather

Beautiful soapy, fresh rose. A really lovely clean fresh, rosy scent, but it just does not last. I'm disappointed, because if had any lasting power at all, I'd really love it (and my skin holds scent really well - I often have no trouble with the longevity of perfumes that others do).

Parisian Midnight

Does not really smell like rose.. maybe a tiny bit but mostly a light delicate version of the original Prada infusion d’iris

monbonbon

Still getting to know this scent, just purchased a bottle after seeing it at the store, smelling it, and thinking about it for weeks. I had other perfume options as I was gifted any perfume I want, and of all the scents, I just wanted to bathe myself in this one. It’s definately fresh and easy, non-offensive, charming, light, happy....

Honestly I understand the mixed reviews. The bottle was very expensive, the scent doesn’t exactly project well, and honestly it doesn’t even smell necessarily like rose to me... maybe in an abstract way, much more like a rose flavoured tea. And yes the scent stays close to the skin after initial dry down, but it does linger for hours. I quite enjoy the light scent I get at night going to bed after having sprayed myself hours earlier, it doesn’t disappear. In fact, I’ve become sensitive perfumes and can no longer enjoy scents that stay strong for hours...

I think I do really like this scent! I get a bergamot vibe from it much more than rose... it almost has a musky-masculine quality about it which is something I’ve been unconsciously attracted to. It’s not too sweet or cloying at all. In fact, it sparkles. The bottle by the way is absolutely stunning! The colour, the weight, the feel of holding it and spraying, the detail... it’s gorgeous and adds to the experience.

I do want to try layering this scent, either with something more decidedly Rose scented (Jo Malone Red Roses) or with something gourmand to add some body.

I would name this scent Bergamot and Rose Tea.

Looking forward to seeing how this scent performs in the summer months, it’s currenrly winter over here. I hope to fall more in love with this scent and not the other way around!

ellina1984

I love all Infusion scents by Prada. This is a lovely clean rose on the well-known Prada Base. But it lasts half an hour at the most. Not good value for money.

adacat

I tried it at the promotion counter. The smell is very light and gone within half hour. Maybe it not suitable for me.

ameagari

tea rose (perfumer's workshop) + infusion DNA = infusion de rose
nothing memorable, found myself bored by it considering how good the other infusions are.

LoreleiBluebird

Absolutely beautiful, but sadly a thirty minute wonder on me. What a shame.

muahah

Lemon-citrus are strong in this. Only later perfume became bit softer and rose came out more. This isn't rose it self, but rather its cool, refreshing "aura". It changed several times, then there was more lemon, then less. This lemon is somewhat rubbery. I liked it most after several hours, then it was most rose, at some moments it was like real fresh roses. For me personally I wish there would be less or no lemon, but that's just me. In any other way this seems good choice if you are in lemon-citrus and roses. It is what main notes say and it lasted about 5 hours. Heavier classic lemon rose for woman 25+.

PinkRainbow

Got a sample yesterday. This is SO pretty! A subtle blend of roses with an orange-y backdrop. Reminiscent of roses in a summer breeze. The orange note gives it a touch of tartness and balance. The best one from Prada yet! It should be destined to be a classic.

Ms. Cherie

This rose is very pretty and is the star of this scent but it also has the Infusion d'Iris DNA (that I love) even though there is no iris. Can't wait to get a bottle!

gatsby

waiting for it. Anything with quality rose is a good promisse.
