Blind bought it looking for a similar but longer lasting opening of Debaser, which is one of my favorites.

Very green and very fresh. Feels like a green version of Bois Imperial in terms of airiness. It's more grassy than leafy, unlike Debaser where you get the fig leaf and its branches right off the bat, to a point where it almost smells minty. Very slight, subtle sweetness like candied mint drops. If you are looking for a green scent in general, cant go wrong with this one. Like for now.

EDIT:
It's green, alright. Almost too green. Turns a bit too sweet and powdery in the drydown. Not a bad fragrance in and of itself but doesn't really hit the mark for what I was looking for.

Raucousdaucus

Very nice fig leaf as mentioned in other reviews. Most reviews, however, call this “soapy,” but it is decidedly powdery and not soapy to me. Obviously the result of whatever makes all the Acqua di Parma fragrances powder to my nose and soapy to others. Something to consider if you are averse to this type of powderiness.

dmitryrey

To me this smells like the outside. Grass especially. Maybe hay. I do like the smell but not so much the drydown after a few hours. It turns sweet smh and that is not what I want from this. And I can not justify the price point for this. But it is unique for sure

hcrv

I tried a sample first and then bought a full bottle because I really like this fragrance. Nice green fig fragrance for Spring and Summer. Enjoyably fresh smelling, not fruity or sugary, moderate projection and lasts about 8 hours.

nichoa99

Sweet christmas tree. Like pine sap with some sugar water. A little bit sickening to me, but not a bad perfume. Gives me a totally different vibe than Philosykos which is my all-time favorite.

wintermuted

I get almost a coconut shampoo vibe at first. Dries down to a sweet, figgy, grassy, fresh scent. Still reminds me of shampoo. Longevity and projection are not great.

violetgum

Figgiest Fig to have ever figged.

SUPER green. I get lime zest immediately on the opening. Some underlying soapiness. Rich family lounging around on their boat in clear waters.

Gives off an untouchable vibe.

Lasts much longer and is much fresher and figgier than Philosykos.

Embodied~Professor

Opening is the green smell of purity. The smell of life. I read elsewhere that the top note is strawberry tree.

Dry down is an absolutely gorgeous myrtle which smells like sweet wood.

The opening and the dry down are quite different but each is stunning in its own right. The first time I smelled the dry down I almost cried. I couldn’t believe this perfume was giving me this perfect creamy sweet wood *in addition to* the already glorious opening.

Instantly obsessed with this.

Does anyone know who the perfumer is? 10/10 masterpiece.

Please let this perfume never go out of production.

Preface: I’m a huge Profumum Roma fan and their Acqua e Zucchero is my signature fragrance. That said, Ichnusa did not work for me, which is a me thing and not a PR thing. It started spectacularly, all green fruit and leaves on a woody canvas with creamy notes and a unisex vibe leaning masculine. BUT it quickly turned to only wood and a men’s perfume through and through. After a few hours, I started to sneeze uncontrollably, overcome by the overly muskiness of it. The fact it has projection and longevity like all the PR fragrances I’ve tried didn’t help lol. I can imagine other people loving this, I’m just not compatible. Like I said, it’s not you, it’s me…

Razorbrown

If I didn’t know the notes, I wouldn’t know what the heck I was smelling. It’s imaginative, unique and smells high quality. And indeed it is a very realistic right-off-the-tree greenness. But if I were to smell this blindfolded, it tells the story of a rich person eating a pickle on a boat. I know this sounds very odd, but that’s what my brain interpreted. I find it both fascinating and nauseating.

In English.
I'm from Aydın, Turkey. The place where the most figs grow in the world is my hometown, Aydın. Icnusa really gives the feeling of green and dusty figs. There's also the feel of the salty sea breeze, the flowery countryside in spring and a bit of soapiness. It is peaceful just like having a picnic in the Aegean countryside on a sunny day, like a white linen shirt and a spring breeze, like drinking sweet white wine under the trees. Masterpiece. It is an office friendly fragrance but I think it would be excellent for especially weekend daytime outings. Performance is monstrous for a fresh fragrance. It is unisex for the first half hour and more soapy and masculine after half an hour.

Ichnusa is my first to try from Profumum Roma, and what a good place to start. It is a photorealistic fig scent, radiant and green, resembling the whole tree. Fig is one of my favourite notes, evoking summer memories for me. Here it is green and leafy, pulpy and juicy, and fresh and herbal in equal measure, anchored by a grassy, woody base. It is less sweet and lactonic than Philosykos or Debaser, instead with slightly sharp, herbal green notes.

Ichnusa opens with dewy, sap-like green notes alongside juicy fig, making for a radiantly fresh and realistic fig opening. It becomes richer as it progresses - slightly jammy like the whole fruit, but without losing its greenness. Some dry woodiness creeps in, which, alongside grassy, herbal green notes, makes for a fig leaf effect. It becomes softly woody as it fades, with green fig remaining until final fade. Sillage and longevity are moderate.

The figgiest figgy fig tree scent, Ichnusa is a beauty that must be smelled by all fig lovers. It is unisex, and is made to be worn in spring/summer. This could give my beloved Philosykos a run for its money. A fig tree, bottled. 5/5.

Tsvetomir Venchov

Nicely blended but it’s really weak. It’s really unique but it’s not worth the money.
So sad!

SmellySal

I love photorealistic scents so this was huge yes for me. It opens up green and sharp, like fig leaves and myrtle shredded in a lawnmower with grass. It's intensely green, like in your face wow green. During the opening is when I can smell each note most clearly. The fig leaf, stems, and branches; myrtle; and grass all collide in a vibrant cacophony. Fresh and intense in the most natural way possible. After about 30 minutes to an hour the dry down kicks in and the myrtle / grass elements back off to amplify the fig. Here is where I smell warm hay and a slight milky greenness of unripe figs. The fig scent of Ichnusa is not sweet or fruity at all, more like the dusty (slightly starchy?) green smell of an actual fig leaf set on a backdrop of a beautiful green menagerie. Extremely photorealistic.

It does lean a bit masculine, and a bit male fougere from the 90s, but it's so masterfully blended that I don't even care. Only downside for me is a short period of time (2-3ish hours in?) where it starts turning a tad bit soapy on my skin. I hate soapy fragrances (ironically one of the only few things that can make a perfume a scrubber for me) and I still love this perfume. The soapiness is slight, only only lasts a short period of time, and I absolutely love everything that comes before and after. On my skin this stuff lasts a really long time for such a fresh, green fragrance. From beginning to end Ichnusa lasts a good 6 hours before becoming a skin scent, and I even find the skin scent pleasant.

I think layashokravi was spot on in their comparison between Ichnusa, Philosykos, and Jo Malone Green Wheat and Meadowsweet, but Ichnusa is definitely greener than the other two, plus a bit of spicy woodiness. (Philosykos leans slightly sweeter and more lactoninc while still capturing some of the photorealistic green fig leaf elements that really shine in Ichnusa; and Jo Malone leans harder into the photorealistic hay / sweet grass elements while eschewing the fig altogether.) To be clear, each of the three are really different from each other, but I find the way the shared notes are executed-- the photorealistic quality of them, specifically-- really unique.

If you find Philosykos too sweet/milky or subtle, and like green fragrances, then I'd definitely give this one a try.

Brutus

A little bit sharp in the opening, but really nice drydown.

shades-of-lethe

Green, bitter, incredibly photorealistic fig leaf. A masterpiece of its kind!

Thighz4president

FIG. Fig leaf, stem, and the sap from the stem. Fig skin, pulp, and juice. A beauty.

shokravee

this is the figgiest fig leaf scent i have ever come across, to me fig leaf smells like paper a little bit, and this one captures that aspect perfectly. this is not very fruity, and i can't say that it's very green, but it has an unripe fig ooze smell. it is quite dusty, it spreads in ur throat almost, it's very expandable. to me it's the same style as philosykos and debaser, but amped up on the fig leaf. i can imagine it will be wonderful to be layered with a subtle citrus or a tea scent specially given how oily this thing is. it is quite linear imo, but on the dry down for a split second i was able to smell beyond the fig leaf, i think the hay make it smell dirty but the other herbs and the grass make it "fresh" as in freshly-cut fig leaf, yet not green.

adahn

Reminds me of a 90s shaving foam/aftershave my dad used to have, quite soapy. I like the green fig aspect but not a fan overall.

stacia79

Have you ever snapped a green twig from a living branch and smelled it? Sure, this is a fig scent at the end of the day but first and foremost it is the smell of green juice from a stalk. Green grass, green leaves, green stems. And a tiny bit of fig fruit too underneath all the foliage.

danielbankov

One of the best fig scents out there - nothing to dislike about it. It is timeless, green, strong and long-lasting. Philosykos is still my number one but this one is close. In the dry down the myrtle references Aqua di Sale which is a big plus for me.

Ichnusa kicks off with a sharp scent like when you crush fig leafs in your hand and roll the leafs into a ball. For the first 30 minutes I can also smell the myrtle, grass and green hay. After 60 minutes this very delicate constructed fragrance is totally evaporated from my skin and the dream is gone as quickly as it appeared.

justcallmed

First impression and thoughts :Gentle, super green, grassy, green pepper/sharp green notes. After hearing how amazing this one was on a previous Reddit post, I had to make this my next sample to try. This isn’t my first time trying a fig fragrance (my intro was one from the Body Shop which was disappointing) and as much as I love how green, milky and fresh a fig fragrance is (supposed) to be, I always seem to be a little let down.
Ichnusa is a lovely scent; this is based around fig but the other notes of grass and myrtle play well and are noticeable to make this a little more than a one note fragrance. Because it’s fig-tree wood, it does lean a little more woody than milky/sweet like a typical fig fragrance may. I’m not familiar with myrtle but, I can only assume it’s what gives Ichnusa it’s slightly snappy (dare I say a little hot and sharp) edge; it starts out quiet and woody/sweet but then turns a little and has a green pepper quality to it.
I applied this first around 7:30 am and after a few hours (say 3) this was basically gone and had disappear into my skin. Throughout the day today I found myself reaching for it and reapplying trying to amp up the volume of this scent but it would only get so loud and last so long.
Would I buy a bottle- this is a lovely scent; a fig based green aroma with a slight sharpness to it. However, the last power and sillage isn’t where I’d want it to be and that is a deal breaker for me (especially considering coming from a niche brand I would expect a little more). Hard core fig fans take note; you might ignore the lasting power and not be hung up on it like I am and find this to be a new favorite of yours.

blackw0lfx

Oh man when you put this on it is like you are snapping fig tree leaves. Its bright, green, and crisp. As it dries down it loses the bright green and picks up more of a smooth dusty feel more like you are snapping the fig tree. On my skin it has more of a hay quality while it remains bright on my clothing. Definitely spring summer fragrance. I would say you could wear this anywhere although it has a casual lounge feel. Perfect for reading outside in a hammock.

Vickalicious

I struggle with fig fragrances, so I was a bit shocked by how much I like this one. This one starts out on me very green, smelling like fresh cut green grass and fig leaves. The fig in this comes across as the entire tree. I pick up myrtle, and in the dry down is something slightly sweet (like the fig fruit) and aromatic notes. I would say that this very realistically smells like the fig tree, and is completely unisex. Although this didn't have massive projection this lasts the entire day on me, and really comes alive in the hot weather. I rarely hear this one talked about, which is a pity because it's a fantastic one, even for those who aren't big fans of fig fragrances (like myself!).

salespo612

A natural leafy fig paired with ozonic, grassy, and dusty hay accords. The fig feels unripe, lacking juicy and sweet qualities (not a bad thing). Lovers of photorealistic scents will dig this one, but it’s not for me

Tamlin

This fragrance is weird... Let me explain.

It opens up kind of amazing.
It's like you took a handful of fig leaves, crushed them, and smeared them over your skin.
It's fresh, green, natural, almost tangy, and feels very realistic.
Really nice scent, maybe the most natural green fragrance I've ever smelled.

But then after about 2-3 of hours, this is all completely gone!
Instead it's replaced by a soft, slightly soapy, slightly vanillic, kind of generic, very light, feminine-leaning skin scent.
It's pleasant and all, but completely and entirely different from the opening.
The fresh fig leaf just vanishes...

I really enjoyed the opening, and the drydown is nice enough for what it is, but it's really weird how it changes so much in such a short time.
If you're prepared for that I guess it's fine, but to me it's honestly a disappointment and not worth the price.

To be fair, the green fig leaf scent does stick around longer on clothes, but on my skin it's just gone within a couple of hours.

This is probably the least long-lasting of all Profumum Roma fragrances.
Most of them are known for being amazingly long-lasting, but this one, not so much...
I seriously can't understand how some previous reviewers could possibly think that this fragrance has "good" or even "great" and "excellent" longevity.

AndrzejK

I love fig and fig tree smell from the moment I smelled it in the nature travelling around the Greek islands: it is green and dusty, uplifting and comforting, relaxing and fresh. I will always remember the smell of the fig tree in the heat of the day during hot summer days, especially combined with the smells of herbs and plants growing around and mixed with the fresh salty sea air. Ichnusa is all about the green fig tree - its branches and leaves. Settles herbal, greenish with a kind of nettle note. Natural, uplifting, relaxing like being close to the sea, under the fig tree in hot weather.

mackerror

The best green fig on the market, the myrtle makes it special. Parameters are outstanding.

mhobol

rbalkris said everything that needs to be said about this one. Beautiful scent.

lgbailey86

Easily in my top 5 for spring along with Nio, Silver Mountain Water, Royal Water, and Guerlain pour Homme EDP. Dewey clean green morning feel is a great way to describe it. Rich and fresh. Great longevity without ever being overbearing.

GlacialImpala

As of today I own this perfume, and since I bought Philosykos a month ago I can claim the scents aren't similar at all. Ichnusa is all about myrtle and greenery, while Philosykos is all about the fig fruit (to the point of even reminding me of nectarine/peach).

Ichnusa is just as natural, it just depends whether you prefer green or fruity.
If I had to put a gender to it, Ichnusa is obviously way more masculine. It can even be perceived as harsh if you spray even a tad bit too much.

On my skin Ichnusa develops into more and more floral territory, becoming more feminine and pleasant, but then surprisingly it completely disappears. I usually have to bathe to remove scents as powerful as this one. The longevity was awesome, more than 6h, just not eternal.

rbalkris

Gorgeous natural herbal green scent. Like most of Profumums scents the note structure is quite linear and simple. Fig leaves and wood, hay, grassy notes all topped with a dash of myrtle. The result is one of the most photorealistic experiences of walking in a fresh grassy field on a dewy Spring morning. The unisex scent has moderate sillage and excellent longevity. Absolutely breathtaking in both its simplicity and its evocative power. Enjoy!

Otjello

Delicious, soft, creamy, sweet greenness with a sharp edge. Fig leaf is prominent but also somewhat grassy and a little dry. Really a WOW summer fragrance! Top notch! 93

feleeni

I fell in love but now I am confused.
The opening is gorgeous. The opening gets noticed. The opening....ah...the opening.
I love fig. I went to get my refill of Phylosikos...but then my friend advised me to try Ichnusa. And there I was, heading out with the bottle...enchanted. Twice the price...but for love, I'm willing to splurge.
But--it disappears on me. Much too fast. I carry the roll on bottle of it with me and reapply throughout the day to get a hit of the opening as the drydown is very soft, subtle. It lacks that fresh, bitter, nostalgic hit at the start which evokes the sea, sun, elegance of times passed.
I don't know. I love Ichnusa, but it lets me down a bit. Until I reapply. Then I'm hers all over again.

Fragrance Fawn

I am confirmed lover of fig and all things fig....both in the scent world and the gastronomic world....I even have 2 fig trees if that tells you anything.

Ichnusa was introduced to me by Tracey at Fumerie Parfumerie in Portland, Oregon....and I am oh so glad she did!

This is true fig leaf....pure greeny effervescence, with a sharp woody moss note behind it. I literally feel like I have torn a fig leaf off a tree and inhaled it.

I wouldn't say it is particularly reminiscent of Ninfeo Mio....incidentally my wedding fragrance...it is more in the vein of Jo Malone's very much missed Fig and Cassis.

I think it is a lovely scent for the summer and has good projection and longevity.

If you love fig, you owe it to yourself to try it

Nyx

Smells exactly like the fig leaf and the dust on it. Dusty, leafy smell. İt's quite unique actually. Great imitation of fig tree and fig leaves with dust. My rating would be 6/10 because of the uniqueness and well done of the smell but not the type of fragrance I would wear. İf you really like grassy fragrances which i dont so much and if you want to smell like a dusty fig leaf thats your scent :)

AndrzejK

Green fig tree - its branches and leaves. Settles greenish with a kind of nettle note. Natural, uplifting, relaxing like being close to the sea, under the fig tree in hot weather.

Dr. Vicius

Not a fig but the tree...

This is very fresh and green, in fact quite simple fragrance. You get the fig tree aroma, almost in hyper-realistic mode. This smell will not leave you or change for hours. Longevity for a "freshy" is quite amusing.

No sweetness will be found in here. This is bitter green fig leaves.

So, if you are searching for a long-lasting fresh fragrance, and you are bored of lemony, zesty scents, this could be your perfect match. You have to love fig as a note, and don't mind about linear, simple fragrances, but that they do their job.

Uniqueness: low

Scent: 6.5/10

Performance: medium-high (high for a freshy)

Would I buy it: No (I do have a 17ml travel-size bottle, and for me it's enough)

farang

I like fig fragrances since they perform well in a hot and humid climate. Ichnusa is centered on fig and is a 'green' fragrance. It is rather bitter which to me smells like grapefruit. Thus to my nose it is mostly a fig-citrus/grapefruit fragrance. I see that the notes include myrtle, but I have to say that I am not familiar with how myrtle smells.

The bitter greenness evokes a mediterranean feel. Perhaps a Greek island or Sardinia.

It is completely unisex and moderately long lasting.

dsty

Ichnusa has been high on my test list for quite a while: I love green scents, and fig leaf in particular is one of my absolute favourite notes, so this note pyramid looks truly dreamy to me. Expectations as high as that are dangerous, of course, so now that I finally got my hands on a decant I'm relieved to say that in this case they were met, on the whole. It really is as green as it gets, which is a delight, and it's very natural as well. It's not a juicy green, though - I associate it more with the dark greens of high summer heat than with the fresh light green of spring, and there's some aromatic and almost salty sweetness to it that gives it a slightly masculine edge. Which is undoubtedly very nice, and no one but a perfume hoarder would be this hairsplitting about it, but still: I think I do prefer the spring green variety of green scents for myself, on the whole. I'll use up my decant of Ichnusa with pleasure, but my favourite in this genre remains Molinard's Fleur de Figuier (the blue bottle version) - which has the added advantages of being a lot cheaper and lasting a lot longer as well. The same goes for Jo Malone's Wild Fig & Cassis, which this also reminds me of a little.

GRAF

The opening and the middle stage is almost the same (90%) as the discontinued Miracle Homme L'Aquatonic Lancome
which I own (it's a little smoother than this Lancome). From a distance I can't separate them. At the late dry down I get the same vibe with about 30% powder.

landshark321

Profumum's Ichnusa marks the celebrated house's try at a green fig scent, something I've only experienced in D.S. & Durga's Debaser.

Fig remains a challenging note for me to enjoy, so I try to be especially patient with it, and Ichnusa does a nice job with it, the best that I can tell.

As with most of Profumum's offerings, Ichnusa is fresh and smooth, conjuring a natural-smelling blend of aromas rather than something that is clearly meant to conjure fantasy. I don't detect any specific notes apart from a general fresh greenness accompanying the fig.

Ichnusa, like most of Profumum's even warm weather offerings, performs well, as well, especially with respect to longevity. It's not likely one I'd buy but I'm pleased with it.

My first real fig fragrance, and what a knockout. This is great, geen and pleasant and fresh. Good for warm weather, day or night. If you want to smell fresh, this is it. Noy a sexy fragrance so maybe not on adate night. Another great one from this excellent house.

Green , Fresh, Lovely fig they say...
Mission accomplished, well...
I got some help, but I am so happy !
By my local lake there is a lot of pines and when going to this lovely beach in summer, sun is heating the fallen pine needles from last year and make a delicious smell !
I've talked with several parfumistas in many Years to find this awesome smell in a scent. The great and certainly intense and skilled on his duty parfumeexpert at NK perfume Stockholm, just picked this one for me on an instant,
when telling him my cravings.
He told me pine doesn't smell by itself and to get close, you have to go for fig - leaves and fruit. Now this Profumo has more of a cool wind coming over the lake pine, but together on my hot skin it's the closest I've gotten so far! Thank you for finding it for me NK Parfym , Stockholm. I love it ❤

fillifelle

A fig scent so realistically green it's like crushing fig leaves between your fingers and having the sap and juice run down your arms. It has an astringent quality to it, the kind that is present in unripe fruits and will leave a furry taste on your tongue and stick to the back of your throat. Ichnusa is simultaneously tactile and gustatory: an instant and complete botanical amalgamation with the Ficus Carica a la Daphne with the laurel. This makes all the other fig scents, from Phylosikos and Premier Figuier, to Ninfeo Mio and Ashoka, seem like mere custardy dessert with token garnishing of figs. If you're tired of coconutty, creamy, lactonic fig fragrances and just want to have a handful of bruised greens in your face, Look no further. A totally underrated and undeservedly ignored fig masterpiece.

Tara Yeiter

I've been on a fig bender lately and I have finally found the one. Most fig leaf perfumes have a lovely opening, but turn soapy after an hour or two on my skin. I love the coconut of Ninfeo Mio and Philosykos, but am lost in a sweet sea of bland vanilla soap smell all to quickly.

Ichnusa takes me right to a fig tree, somewhere with a salt breeze rustling the leaves. Fresh broken new growth green that stayed true for almost 4 hours before drifting quietly to a cozy, sun-warmed skin scent. Skin that got a touch too much sun, wind and saltwater.

I could easily picture this on a man. For me, I feel like Diana, tracking something quiet in a grecian wood.

Steleale

Simply gorgeous.
Ichnusa and Philosykos are the best fig scent in the frag world, but while the first one is wild, greener, pure fig leaf and myrtle; the second one is more fruity and creamy, woody in the drydown, with a beautiful touch of fig leaf at the opening. IMO both of them are masterpieces.

Roge

You try one fig, you tried them all right? That was almost true till I discovered Ichnusa. It's good to know Profumum didn't go the Philosykos route like many others. Diptyques treasured jewel is the one to beat, so how does Ichnusa fare against the champ? Hugely fresh, packed with herbs with generous amounts of fig. This is already showing its serious side with complex greens and a light, natural texture that also brings out the wood. Not as safe and ubiquitous like most figs on the market, this lends its contrariant touch to be desired.

Malthus101

This stuff is incredible - the greenest, freshest scent I have smelled so far. It's beautiful.

I tried a few of the Roma range - not all were hits with me, I didn't see what they were trying to achieve.

But this... this is going to be my "Amalfi" coast scent for sure. Fresh figs, green leaves, deep and luscious, longevity, happiness, sunshine, health, freedom and an ocean breeze tousling your hair...

It's good, good juice...

pravda48

Oh my goodness this is delightful! I just sprayed it on my boyfriend and I LOVE IT on him so far! Very strongly green and herbal, sweet enough for my taste from the fig tones. It has something animalic in it (from the hay, maybe?) that I can't place but I find it intoxicating. I get whiffs of it easily from a normal sitting distance beside him.

Mmmmm.... will definitely use up the whole sample! Longevity is yet to be determined.

2nd night spraying it on bf: can't stay off him. Must. Nuzzle... ^^

Shenandoah

I love fig scents, and probably own too many, but decided I had to buy this one as soon as I'd sampled it. Why? Because on my skin, it is an exploration of a completely different aspect of fig. My other fig fragrances are milky, coconutty, fruity, jammy, boozy, or slightly green, and I love them all for these different facets. I love Ichnusa precisely because it is not these things. To me, Ichnusa is deeply green, woody, dry, slightly bitter, and unsweetened. It is not a gentle, romantic fig. This is a young, unripened fig, along with its broad leaves, thick stems, and woody branches. It softens over time, but never loses its verdant aspect.

To me, this is an utterly unisex fragrance. I have yet to find another fragrance from this line that I like (and to be honest, some I find just awful), but Profumum did a masterful job with Ichnusa. If you like fig scents, you owe it to yourself to try a completely different side of this note. If you are a fan of green scents, you will likely love the interplay of fig leaf, grasses, and sharp green myrtle.

All I smell from this is pine. It's a nice pine scent, but not at all what I was expecting. Did I get the wrong sample? I don't know how others could get suntan lotion or coconut. This is straight up, very realistic pine.

Opens very green and herby almost bitter, and I sense in the background like a branch of a fig tree. Then it quickly evolves into a warmer rounder scent, still green and woody but from time to time I get little hints of coconut, or something like it that is like the milky sap of the fig tree. This is nice, and def unisex. I can live without it but would buy a bottle if money were no issue.
Upon trying again I don't feel like this is me it's just slightly too bitter/herbal.

Seven hours later on a hot summer day and amazingly there's still a trace of this glorious perfume on me! I was hoping that I'd be unable to find yet another composition by this house that I liked, but unfortunately I find myself falling deeply in love with Ichnusa! [sigh] I'm trying not to think about it... but it's so evocative of cool, green, Mediterranean woods!

Update: bought a bottle, and I simply love wearing it- the atmosphere it creates is beyond compare to any other "green fig" out there, and is always eliciting compliments!

This is basically a slam dunk for me. I LOVE fig, and myrtle is great too! This is about as green as green gets.

Alright, so it wanted to channel a wind-swept coast. Done. With craggy, gnarled tree trunks and sand blasted rocks as accessories. Love it!

Longevity is modest, But I don't need much to get the effect that I long for. IN all, a great, earthy fragrance that keeps me coming back for more.

This smells like coconut on me, with maybe a hint of vetiver. It reminds me of suntan oil. I don't like it much.

This smells like a cross between Diptyque's Virgilio and Jo Malone's Wild Fig and Cassis, and costs three times as much as either of them. Doesn't last long on me.
