Just Cavalli Roberto Cavalli for women

I don’t know how anyone can say this doesn’t have lots of sillage or longevity! It’s a white flower beast on me and I didn’t even give myself a complete spritz. A tiny bit came out on my arm and after two hours I tried to wash it off. Tried, being the operative word. It’s still there after trying to wash it off and it’s on the sleeve of my sweater so I’ll have to change outfits or ensure this until it’s washed. This stuff is beast mode and that would be great if I liked it. If you like Alien or My Way, this might be a perfume you’d like. I hate it.

This has been my go-to-perfume the last 10 years. I love how subtle and woody, yet floraly, it is. I often get compliments because of the perfume 😍

this is a nice and simple floral. very inoffensive, it hugs skin tightly and isn't all that noticeable. i do believe any floral sdj mist is a better deal since longevity and sillage are weak with this one

Just Cavalli isn't "just" anything.
It is a unique fragrance and signature scent worthy.

I don’t find this similar to Alien or Poeme. I can’t speak much to the others people have mentioned. However, I do think this has the DNA of Roberto Cavalli EDP. I feel like Just is the lighter, summer version of RC EDP. If you like one, then you probably like the other.
As for Just, I think it’s a little more complicated than the notes here suggest. It warms up beautifully on my skin. My family loves it and smile when they smell me coming. I can understand the smiles. It is a happy fragrance, but not particularly youthful unless that young person enjoys florals. On me, it’s a clean, confident, comforting, pleasant fragrance. It works well in high heat and humidity. Just let your sprays settle a bit before running out of the door.

This perfume came across way different than I anticipated. It's a solely floral fragrance to my nose. The bottle made me think this would smell more modern and flirty, but it's really a classic scent. It might be something you would wear to a slightly formal event in the Spring/Summer. I wish there was more nuance to it like with some smokey notes or musk. It's intoxicating, like if you smell a strong bouquet of flowers that starts to make you feel a little dizzy.

This perfume is sacred to me. I am not even sure exactly why but on some other level this speaks to me like no other perfume has done. My only other scent that is my signature is Givenchy Indescecne. It is simplistic in its notes but it is to me the most exceptionally beautiful perfume to me in the world and I am a pretty big time collector. I hoard this! Its smells how if there is a heaven I hope it smells. I bought it years ago blind buy at marshells and I have NEVER been without since!

This is strictly from scent memory so if it’s wildly inaccurate please don’t come for me. I got a bottle of this from a discount store today and the first spray almost put me off completely, super strong gardenia with a head shop incense note, but oh the dry down!!!!!!! Twenty minutes later it smelled on me exactly like I remember my sister smelling in high school. She wore Juicy Couture and I haven’t seen anyone else compare the two, but for me it brought me there immediately. I actually love it. Pure nostalgia.

On first spray I get a dose of fresh, slightly sharp Neroli, which dissipates quickly, to be replaced by Rosewood & Tiare over the first 20 minutes or so. From there it develops into a creamy, warm wood, with a light floral touch. The Tiare adds some sweetness but not overly so and I wouldn't class it as tropical. After the first half hour, the fragrance remains pretty linear, which is not a bad thing here, as I really enjoy this fragrance. Overspraying could easily ruin the beautiful aura created in this minimalistic notes combination.

When deciding where to place it in my collection, I chose to place it alongside Sensuous Nude, Cahmere Mist, Adam Lavine, Peau Santal, Cashmere and Powdered Veil.

Projection and longevity are average. The price tag makes it a steel! A comforting hug of fragrance, that IMO can be classed as unisex.

On me, this is an office-friendly (not a projecting beast) cozy, woody, with a hint of floral fragrance. (Mine was made in Nov 2020). Not sure if this was reformulated, but I was expecting something stronger with the tiare flower and neroli. It's a like, but not a LOOOVE.

This fragrance taught me that I can’t judge a fragrance by the first spray! I don’t understand the scientific mechanism that makes this so… none the less, when I first sprayed this scent I thought it was HORRIBLE! Bitter citrus was all I could smell! Did it need to be shaken? All I know is I stuffed it away in a dark drawer & decided to dig it out…After a few sprays a gentle sweetness came out… a new depth of honey & amber showed up, & just like that… it’s now one of my favorite fragrances! Even signature worthy! I love smelling this on me! Love it!

To my nose, Just Cavalli resembles Alien but with an added creamy tiare note that makes it even more beautiful than Alien (which reminds me a little of baby wipes!). I know Just Cavalli is neroli + tiare, while Alien is a couple of jasmines, but both have a beautiful, floral-woody drydown that make them similar. While I don't adore Alien, I do really love Just Cavalli; it's extremely pretty and feminine, and I love to wear it all year round. Last night, I wore it to bed layered over Monoi Tiki Tahiti Tiare oil and I still smelled absolutely divine upon awakening 8 hours later. Such a beautiful perfume <3

I was hoping for tropical, warm tiare flower, instead I am getting nuclear strength tuberose with a rubbery edge :(. On me, this is really strong. I can’t seem to wash it off, despite scrubbing vigorously and using alcohol wipes.

If you love tuberose, or other similar strong white flowers, you will probably love this. Sadly, it is not for me :(.

Blind buy because I’m on a Tiare kick. A month ago I couldn’t smell the Tiare. Only bitter neroli. Today… the neroli isn’t as bitter & I’m picking up on the gentle sweetness & smoothness of Tiare. Neroli is still the strongest . Just a hint of rosewood in there. I like it…. a bit of a “furniture polish” vibe😆…. but clean & polished🤣scent… leans a little masculine/or maybe neuter… like a polished wood table😑 It’s got decent silage (best on clothes). Definitely worth the price. Far better than many EDPs of today.

Just received my bottle of Cavalli’s “JUST”. I’m a lover of beautiful scents, (on an extremely tight budget! )incense,& floral mostly. It’s likely my budget that keeps me from finding a juice I’m in love with! Also I have sent memories of deep & lavish scents from the 60s& 70’s & 80’s Many main stream scents found in malls on the west coast, even EDP strength are MUCH WEAKER, than previous years EDT”s. So It goes. Definitely disappointed in this blind by. Makes me wonder if there’s ever any objective description of scent other than to list ingredients. Reviews here are all over from”pushing the limits of sweetness” to bitter neroli. I smell only weak bitter neroli. Zero Tiare ( what I bought it for) and perhaps… maybe a hint of wood? I’ll review again in a few days… if any thing changes. Just very underwhelming & disappointing.

Sweet without being yummy. I enjoy it a lot as it's woody and warm. Very well blended but I hardly get any Neroli. It seems a lot more thought was put into this one than newer scents. Also, I got it for a ridiculously low price, remarkable vfm. It's very strong, don't overspray.

I really enjoy using this fragrance as a base to layer with & add depth & longevity to my bottles of Calvin Klein Euphoria & Rihanna Reb'l Fleur & Rihanna Rebelle. I have found a broader description of notes for this fragrance & all fragrances here on Fragrantica on the Perfume Finder page, that helps me get a better idea of how the fragrances may smell like, fyi.

I used to wear this stuff everyday its so good.Its a very creamy woody floral.Quite sexy but not too overpowering.Would definitely purchase this again.

Warm, woodsy, and quite contemporary. Perfection to me. It has an alluring aroma that is both seductive and lovely, warm and sweet. The sillage is mild and the longevity is pretty gentle. This is lovely and seductive. A lovely, tasteful, and excellent one. It's quite cosy and fluffy. Perfection! 

Smelling this takes me back to the early 2000's. It is simple but captivating. I don't grab for it often, but when I do, I do enjoy wearing it. It is a beautiful casual floral with a slightly woody base. If you are a fan of tiare, this is an all-year-round version of it.

Nice woody and sweet fragrance. It's a little bit bitter and slightly balsamic. I'm surprised how it was possible to make such a gorgeous scent of just three notes! I can smell even liqueur notes. It smells amazingly both on skin and clothes. Longevity and sillage is eternal, I can smell it for some days. Despite all its density, it is a tender, feminine and great fragrance! A little bit retro, but it's O.K. for me.

Smells like a pleasant sweet candy or lollipop - can't believe this only has 3 notes. I smell some sort of berry or jellied candy. I love it!

I used to love this one, it's a perfect creamy floral for any occasion or time of day. I used up a small bottle when I started dating my husband, so it brings back so many good memories. It's sexy floral with a hint of freshness (neroli), simple and clean. So I bought another bottle, seven years later. And now I like it. Maybe my chemistry changed, maybe the formula, but it's the same until an hour passes. Then some kind of wood emerges, and it's not a mossy sexy grounding wood. It's just harsh, almost humid wood. A little bit of staleness that I don't remember being there before. I still like it and I wear it occasionally, but not everyday, that wood just ruins it a bit for me. I think it is modern, easy, and kinda unique so definitely try it. But not sure if it's a safe blind buy...

Holy Tiare flower. I purchased a carded sample as I was curious to try other Tiare flower perfumes in addition to Vanitas Versace and Alien Eau Extraordinaire, both of which I enjoy wearing. This one pushes the sweetness limit for me. I barely get a hint of neroli, >90% strong Tiare with some wood in the base.

Immediately back-up bottle worthy! This is absolutely beautiful and is so well-rounded that it could be worn year-round, day or night! The Tiare is truly the star of the show, with its sweet tropical floral that has that cheerful & bright candied fruit vibe. It smells so much more luxurious than the price point would make you think. The Neroli is present to give a slightly sharp and sweet green hint to balance it out. The Rosewood brings a rich depth to the base as you breath this in. This was a fantastic blind-buy. 10/10!

I blind bought this based on the reviews I read here. Unfortunately, the smell is too woody, longevity and sillage are too poor on my skin. It's definitely not what you'd expect from a summery scent at all, I don't get any white flowers as mentioned here. I'd prefer to wear this in fall.

Very faint fragrance on me. Maybe personally me just practically anosmic to this one. I just hardly feel some flower very faint tiare scent, nothing else..

This was a blind buy from a few years back that I'm really happy with. Just looking at the bottle and the notes, you'd never expect such a treasure as this.
The tiare flower is prominent but it's not beachy as you'd expect. The neroli gives it a vibe that reminds me of blood orange or Campari.
It's floral, but it's dark and slightly bitter (in a good way!).
I save it for cold weather or a night out because in the heat of summer it's a bit too heavy for me.

I thought this was a jasmine and tuberose scent! The neroli-rosewood-tiara combination is GOOD. I have a pre-2020 bottle and the strength is quite nice. It's mature and complex enough to appeal to many ages without being so woody and dark that it scares off a younger audience. Overall, a true winner. If you already enjoy bubblegum-style tuberose scents like D&G 'The ONE', then I highly recommend branching out to this more complex and just as expensive smelling cousin.

Note: Other than being in the lovely floral category, I see no resemblance whatever to Poeme or Gabriella Sabatini. I have not smelled Roberto Cavalli Gold to compare, but I'm confident there is a great deal more resemblance there!

Edit: it has a jasmine almost minty side to it (👾). On my skin I can only wear it on colder months or summer nights layered with coconut EDT

On first spray it's fresh and floral with the neroli but it has a much sweeter creamier drydown. I definitely see the alien comparison but they are not the same...maybe if alien was a sunscreen. I swear I get coconut in there. Would layer very nicely with a coconut body spray or something like Mancera Coco Vanille.

This is a love for me. It reminds me of poeme lancome but softer, cheaper and easier to wear. I like this one more than the original Roberto Cavalli. Its a totally 90's vibe in a bottle. A nice not cloying sweet and sunny scent. You can wear this on any occasion imo.

This is a nostalgic perfume for me personally. I wore it in 2013. My mam bought it for me and I wore it everywhere that year. Most importantly I took it abroad which would turn out to be the last holiday I had with my mother before she passed away. I remember getting alot of compliments from the people in the group we were on the holiday with and I would spray it at night before going for a meal and I would still smell it on me at the beach the next day. So I finished my bottle and tried other fragrances, pretty much forgetting about it. Then this year I came across it in TKMaxx for a great price and picked it up again. As soon as I tried it on it brought back so many beautiful memories for me. My mother passed 4 years ago and its amazing how certain smells can bring back so much comfort. This is one of them for me.

Just just arrived an hour ago, so we're one hour down in drydown (please pardon my preposition puns).

So far, this is quite a stunner, flirting with the treacherous trap that makes me shun Eden and Diorella, but cunningly avoiding that rot 'n' retch reflex I unfortunately am submitted to by both mentioned brews.

Mind you, it is a brave aroma, rightly fitting in the pantheon of the other RC concoctions. Bam In Ze Face whites as an intro, next spiralling into dirty roses and woods. Whithout getting skunky, though, and still retaining a sweet white boozy vibe. I even get faint pear. Nice!

This was a special offer, and a backup bottle (sturdy and non nonsense) has been ordered.

The Tiare is rather sharp and loud in ghis perfume, resulted in an imbalance. Neroli is lovely however its thunder is stolen prematurely by tiare. Rosewood is not creamy enough to calm down the flush of tiare. It's a clean-ish perfume, it's lacking some thicker notes to pull it off as a fall scent. Amber/Benzoin can be a good addition to make the formula more wearable.

I purchased my bottle of Roberto Cavalli's Just Cavalli from TJ Maxx/Marshall's about ten years ago. At that time I think I remember the notes included anise in the fragrance notes. That note of anise makes this fragrance hard for me to enjoy. I like eating licorice but I am not a fan of wearing it in my fragrances. I do have some fragrances that include rosewood that I like. I keep this fragrance around because I like Roberto Cavalli as a designer. I also keep it for the times I want something with a more potent strength to it. I wonder what I can layer with it to make it more enjoyable for me to wear?

This is a tough one. I cannot decide if I like it or not. It is definitely unusual, a bit weird even. Maybe it is the Tiara flower or the combination? It was a blind buy because the price point was too good to resist. I definitely do not regret it because this scent is really worth exploring. I am curious what my opinion will be after more wears.

I hated this at first but it has grown on me. It is very thick and the combination of notes is weird and funky, much like Cavalli's collections. When I first attempted this fragrance, the weather was still cold and it did not resonate well, it smelled old and outdated. The second time I tried to wear this, I sprayed it on my sweater and decolletage on a mild spring-like day and it radiated. I was impressed at how lovely it smelled and I even received a compliment. I'll leave this one in my collection for now. I've deemed it a moody little scent that is unexpectedly perfect in the right situation.

This one smells lovely from the bottle but when I put it on I can’t even stand one minute. It’s the tiare flower that doesn’t sit on my skin. It feels like I have a barrier between me and this perfume when I put this on. So I recommend testing on skin first, if it matches with your chemistry it’s a pretty, feminine, clean scent.

Linden flowers and honey! It has the same vibe as Poeme! Solar, warm, luminous!

I love rosewood, it usually has a comfy, musky, clean smell, so I thought this was a safe blind buy. It is not. The neroli paired with the tiare is too much for my skin - try a sample first, if possible.

Smells identical to montale intense tiare

This perfume smells like very heavy candy. It is really oriental smelling scent, that not everyone will like. I smell some kind of candy, maybe marshmallows or a lollypop and white florals that turn into a woody tones after a couple of hours. I used to wear this fragrance a lot and was getting many compliments but I would not buy another bottle.
I also own alien which I absolutely adore but I dont see any similarity tu Just.

The floral notes in this perfume (I get heady jasmine in abundance) gives it an extreme grandma-esque vibe. It's definitely not my type of perfume, but I can see how others enjoy it. I personally dislike Alien too, so maybe the comparisons between the two are valid.

The bottle itself is really sturdy though, which is nice. But I would not recommend blind-buying this, you definitely need to smell it before committing because it seems to be a love or hate scent!

For a very cheap price you're getting a long lasting EDT, yes another flower perfume but doesn't smell like anything else i've smelled in my life! It smells creamy minty and flowery (the tiare flower is troooooong here) weird and original but in a good way!
I get the comparison with Alien, in the weirdness of the scent either you really love it or you hate! Personally i love them both so much! I love the originality of both

I love this scent.
This is one of the two scents I always carry in my handbag. The bottle is flattened and the cap is really tight, snapy and the scent itself is wonderful and versatile. Rather evening and winter scent, but moderately sprayed pleasant even during the day, the scent is strong but stays close to the skin, leaving behind a small trail. This also blends well with almost all floral and fruity scents, making it easy to use.
I have had this for much longer than Alien. I fell in love with Alien from the first sniff, but it took a long time before I realized why it felt so familiar.
My Alien is from 2011, i.e. the older edition. In the opening, these are completely different, Cavalli smells clearly lighter and I can smell both neroli and tiara. Alien slams on with a heady jasmine splash.
But as the opening calms down, (Cavalli rather condensing ...) for a while when drying, they are very identical to me. White flowers, jasmine. I can't tell them apart.
It takes about 10 minutes for both scent to continue to develop on its own paths. Alien to earthy darkness and Cavalli to lighter, slightly wine-like splashing. In both performances, those flowers remain identical until the end. And... This is almost as long lasting on my skin as an alien, but very much near to skin.
Hope this is never stopped or reformulated. Big love to me.

I blind bought a bottle of this discontinued frangrance and I can understand the comparisons with Alien. I don't think they're dupes, but on my skin, it definetly has a similar vibe.
About the fragrance itself, I enjoyed very much, despite the fact that I feel next to nothing of the neroli which is a note I love. It has a beach scent on me, salty, with a tiny hint of 90's sunscreen. I enjoyed ery much and I'm curious about its smell on the winter (I live in South America, and Summer just started for us).

Love it. I value its simplicity. Its not a vixen of a scent, but sexy enough - more sensual. Very feminine and comfortable. Something I'd see myself wearing daily in heaty weather. Its slightly intimate, but has presence and leaves a mark. I imagine, for some reason, that this is the kind of scent not just to seduce a man, but rather to make him fall in love with you. Unlike for most reviewers, the projection and longevity is quite alright with me. Overall, if you want a simple and sensual white flower fragrance for summer, or for hot weather, its worth a try.

Just Cavalli for Her by Roberto Cavalli is incredibly sweet on my skin. It's quite a strong fragrance, so I do have to be in the mood to wear it. If I were still single and several years younger, this fragrance would have been a favourite in my collection for bar-hopping and clubbing.

The opening top notes feature a sweet, milky Tiare flower and a fruity note that resembles a juicy pear. Despite its prettiness, this is a rather synthetic smelling fragrance that is quite clearly targeting the younger consumers with its sugary, bold aroma.

The drydown maintains its sweetness, however, there is a darker note of rosewood and a pleasing citrus aspect coming from the neroli accord. It reminds me of something I've smelt many times before, but I can't quite place it. I am also being transported to a high school camp for some reason, so perhaps Just Cavalli for Her smells like a popular deodorant girls were using at the time.

My partner found it pleasing in small doses or from afar, but when smelled up close he commented that it was too strong. I am quite torn as to whether or not I enjoy this fragrance. It's reminding me of the scent of hairspray which is a deterrent, however, I also enjoy its generic sweetness. Dare I say, Just Cavalli for Her is surprisingly sexy.

I much prefer the Just Cavalli Gold flanker, (which I already own). I am fortunate to have sampled this now-discontinued Roberto Cavalli scent, and as mentioned before, had I been much younger, this fragrance would have certainly been a stand-out in my collection.

Just Cavalli EDT wears wonderfully on my clothing during the summer weather. The tiare and jasmin work very well with the heat. It is a very sexy fragrance. For extra sumptuousness, I layer this in the evening with Hypnotic Poison. The longevity is great for me. I overspray though.

Psst, try layering this with Alien ;)

I must agree with a previous review: "the longevity is dire, projection is poor and sillage almost non-existant."

Doesn't last even 30 minutes on my skin. For this reason alone, I would not recommend it, even though I do like this frag. Never had a fragrance evaporate so incredibly quickly on my skin.

3 hours later I'm getting the Woody note
6 hrs later and we are at the end of the journey

this is a sweet I can handle, although maybe a squeeze of citrus would make it just right for me. I love tiare!
I wish my nose picked up Neroli, maybe I should buy the essential oil, I'm very curios to see if it's orangy.

Great summer scent that's affordable, long lasting, and potent. The tiare brings creaminess and that vibe of being in a tropical garden. I enjoy the neroli as well in here and it's not too grannyish. Leaves a nice trail where others around you will notice.

Tiare flower is always so strong on my skin.. can't handle it

I've a bottle since 2018 and every time try to give another chance to this perfume but unfortunately i get the same drying down a worried powdery masculine smell which I don't like.

I've tried this twice. The white flower sweetness evaporates quickly. It's weak. What's left behind is a rosewood scent that is, to my nose, kind of musky and skunky. I don't like this on my skin and won't try it a third time.

Does anyone know if this perfume has been reformulated? I’ve just bought a new one (2020) and it doesn’t smell as ‘deep’ or strong as my bottle from a couple of years ago. I almost thought I’d accidentally bought edt instead of edp but then I realised it only comes in edt.

I’m sure the scent before was stronger than this...seems weaker and fruitier somehow.

This is lovely. It reminds me of the original Escada, but sweeter, creamier and muskier. The dominant note is no doubt orange blossom and leaves. Love it. The bottle is really beautiful

Beautiful, a tad a sharp at first but addictive once dried down and the gorgeous breezy trail it leaves around you gets alot of compliments, infact this one smells more stunning from further away, lovely elegant summer scent. It doesn't smell like Alien which is my favourite perfume of all time, I've worn it since I was 21 but like another reviewer said it somehow has a slight "feel" of Alien, NOT scent wise, but there is definitely something here that feels like Alien but in a summery way, both scents smell entirely different but like somebody else said if you love Alien but find it too heavy for summer I think this is the perfect substitute, I cant even really explain why other than that for a while I was looking for something to wear in the summer that was similar to Alien but summery, it didnt have to be spot on or even smell like it alot but it gives me the same vibe, I didnt want to stray too far from Alien edp because its my signature and somehow this does the job perfectly.

I really liked this perfume a few years ago but after reading the reviews I didn’t buy it. Yesterday I purchased it and it smells amazlng. It’s soft and creamy, doesn’t have any sharpness in it but the longevity and sillage is a joke. It barely lasted 2-3 hours, and it got kind of turned into throat burning chemically scent. Still the initial scent is so good, I’m fine wlth reapplying it. By the way it smelled wayy creamier on my olive toned friend, I’m quite pale so keep that in mind. I think it will work better in warmer seasons.

White floral mainly and the rosewood provides a rich, thick base. It's smooth, creamy and sweet. A very attractive scent. For $20 at Shoppers I think it's well worth the money.

This is such a beautiful fragrance, glad I could find it at a very good price to try. If I find another one (since it seems to be discontinued) I will buy a back up for sure. Nice white floral with a very creamy dry down, soft and very feminine. To my nose this has nothing to be compared with Alien as mentioned below, which I own and love.

I’m not sure about this. I received it as a gift, had one spray and immediately relegated it to my “re-home” pile. Since then I’ve tried and loved Alien and reading that this is similar, decided to give it another go. Top notes are pleasant white flowers, the heart and dry down have a very cosmetic/plasticky note, the way makeup used to smell before everything became hypoallergenic! I definitely don’t detest it as I did previously and it has all the notes I usually love but there’s just something about this that doesn’t sit right on me, perhaps it’s just my chemistry. So it’s not a dislike but not for me, I’ll add it to my swap list.

Any one who knows what's been going with this beautiful perfume? I can still find it in online shops, but in my western-European country, it's not available in the stores anymore. It's also not on the offical Roberto Cavalli website. Discontinued?!

This perfume has it all, it's the perfect all rounder for summer, classy, beautifully feminine and elegant but at the same time could be worn for any occasion, shorts, t-shirt and flip flops or out in the evening, I picture wearing this on holiday on a tropical island, just got dressed to go out for dinner, step out into the warm evening newly suntanned and this gorgeous scent surrounding me. I find this perfume stunning and the price is incredible.

Surprisingly on first spray this was really sharp and I didn't like it, it was almost like that horrible kinda painful feeling you get in you're glands when you chew a really sour sweet but to my nose! So at first this was a really easy no for me, but then I came back to it a few weeks later and gave it more of a chance and I was blown away, it mellowed out into a soft breezy yet slightly warm scent, it is really difficult to describe this one but it is pure beauty in a bottle.


I noticed that some people have said it's similar to Alien and I agree but it doesn't smell like Alien, there are no similarities scent wise, but I do get the "vibe" of Alien, more so the edt than the edp, infact this would be a really good substitute for Alien in the summer if you find it slightly too heavy, funnily enough Alien edp is my holy grail so it's not surprising that I love this so much x

This smells like sweet pink bubblegum with a woody-spearmint top note. An unusual perfume. I think it probably doesn’t work well with my chemistry.

It's refreshing to find a white flower perfume a little different for a change. Don't get me wrong, I love my gardenias and jasmines, but sometimes I enjoy surprises as well.
At first spray, the woodsy note was bothering me...(apparently I really really don't like the smell of rosewood, who knew? It's pretty funny considering I love those trees and their flowers) Anyway, once it starts drying down, it becomes smoother and creamier, with the flowers shining through.
It's pretty, sensual, feminine and unique. The bad part is that it has no projection or longevity

Truly beautiful while it lasted. Pathetic longevity on skin as of May 2019. No sillage to speak of. Due to the previous reviewer, I tried it on clothing. Worked a little better, but ultimately, I can't imagine paying money for this no matter how creamy and dreamy the fleeting scent.

On clothes, yes, it’s beautiful. But on my skin it just turns into a faint creamy scent with a hint of floral. I had tried this once before and it didn’t work for me, but then I thought of giving it another chance and just ordering it online. Nope, works only on clothes, which sucks, because I prefer to spray perfume on my body.

3 simple notes that smell SO beautiful together!
It's freezing here in Canada so the neroli is pretty sharp and comes across as some type of room spray.
I don't get much of the rosewood (I don't even know what that smells like) with some creamy (never used that term for a fragrance) tiare flower in the drydown.
This is so light, not at all sweet or soapy!
It's definitely work friendly and a great pick for someone who loves white florals!!
I'm looking forward to summer just so I can go ham and dose myself in this!!
It's so soft and comforting but no one will smell it unless they give you a hug.

There’s something about this I love. It’s a white floral but not the sharp Tuberose/ Gardenia of usual i.e. Michael Kors or Marc Jacobs. I believe it’s the Neroli that takes center stage. Every time I think I’m getting rid of this I spray it and I say “ what are you thinking? It’s beautiful, so soft and feminine. Is it unusual no...but very pretty. Perfect for a spring summer scent. It’s a keeper.

I'm very curious. Why did they name this Just Cavalli when there was the original Just Cavalli For Her in the rectangular bottle that came before it? I believe the 1st Just is long discontinued, but there is no mention anywhere of this one being an updated version or repacement for it. I havent seen a single comparison between the two in reviews either. I find this really odd and confusing.

Is this discontinued? I went to two perfume shops in my country in Europe, the first one had the gold version but not this one and in the second one I was told this was not being produced anymore.

Extremely fine feminine perfume. There is nothing sharper in it – the soft and rounded scent of white flowers. As if I'm dressed in a soft white cotton shirt, which is elegant but also somewhat lazy, there is no rigor.
Despite the vial that gives expectation of aggressive, super sexuality, the liquid in the beautiful bottle is quite sophisticated and creamy. Stays on me for 5-6 hours and I especially like that the notes are a little and very well combined. The beginning is sweet, unrolling the senses neroli. There is a very nice and soft tiarе that stands out and lasts for the longest. The base is special - close to the skin and really smells of sweet wood (rosewood).
For me, this perfume is a real discovery and I will carry it with pleasure.

I used to wear it when it came out, and I bought it again today...it is a beautiful white flower perfume, tropical and creamy, with a sunny dose of neroli and tiare, without being a suntan scent...I get the most compliments wearing this one...! It has projection and longevity, yet the white flowers are creamy enough that it is never sharp..
It leaves around you an aura of fresh island breeze, sensual and pretty ..loving it all over again !! I love Cavalli, his fragrances are very unique and full of character..

Something in this perfume just doesn't do it for me.
It's heart breaking because it was my first Roberto cavalli scent.

Does anyone think the creamy powdery wood scent smells like sandalwood? Or is that a typical rosewood smell? Or is the rosewood smelling similar to sandalwood because of one of the other notes?

Nice scent BUT very tiring...UGH!

I love the opening, but it seems to fade to a powdery masculine smell fairly quickly on me, which I don't like. This batch was made in 2017. Spent $30 on it at T.J. Maxx and will be returning it.

I'm new to Roberto's fragrances (just brought this one) and I find it to be a semi-sweet, creamy floral fragrance, that's somewhat unusual. It's very long lasting...over 8 hours staying power. I will by it again.

My first Cavalli and is not disappointing. It is a very strong and lovely scent. I see it more in cold weather. I do not believe this has only three notes listed, smells more complicated. Love it!

I recently wrote a review of Just Cavalli, but had to take it down and try again because I had a revelation. This is my do-over.

Just Cavalli is a big fat margarita, complete with salt riim. The tequila, the cointreau/sour mix, the lime wedge, and the salt are all present. You won't smell like you need a breathalyzer though. The margarita doesn't register unless you think about it, but once you do, BAM! Margarita central. Add to the margarita, some powdery dryer sheets and a hint of men's cologne, and you have Just Cavalli. It may not be a very well made perfume, but it's fabulous.

PS- I have owned 2016 and 2017 bottles of this and the 2017 version has a much stronger masculine note than the 2016 which was more harmonious to my nose, so you may want to hop on a cosmetic check site with the batch code from your box before purchasing to see what version you have.

Just Cavalli is very nice. It smells semi-sweet, clean and kinda creamy. It reminds me of a luxurious bodycream. The tiare is very prominent, but not annoying at all, it's very well balanced.

It does remind me a little bit of Alien, but this smells way more inoffensive. But it's not boring at all!

However this is a great fragrance, I prefer the Gold edition.

Sillage and longevity are both moderate.

Starts off a bit rough but gets creamier as it dries down, nice garden fresh white floral. An apt name, this is 'just' a white floral.. I used to use rosewood essential oil but although this is supposed to have it I am not reminded of it..

This has a very beachy opening note and a lot of powder. I like this best on summer nights.

It seems like some notes are missing here. I smell oriental vanilla.. This fragrance is a sweet oriental middle eastern type scent. Sweet woods and sweet powdery floral.

I love this white flower creamy creation! I would call it a cougar fragrance. It lasts long and the sillage is great and I get lots of compliments. It is a very warm scent so maybe consider wearing this in the fall or winter. Definitely one of my favourites.

Overrated is in the eye of the beholder. But what's not in the eye of the beholder is the ability to discern which reviews have been voted down, with the exception of your own or unless you are keeping inordinately close track on all the others.

I can see from scanning down all the reviews for this perfume that this is one of those perfumes that women jump on the bandwagon about and that are extremely overrated. Even slightly negative reviews on here about it seem to be getting thumbed down - how ridiculous!!

I tested Just Cavalli yesterday for the first time, both on my wrist and on a tester strip. My god, it reeked of a cross between Pepto Bismol, cheap, stinky face powder / lipstick and artificial sweetener like saccharine! By the time I got home, about 2 hours later, it still smelled the same but I bravely resisted the huge urge to scrub it off me. After another hour or so it started to take on an added weird musty spiciness and, in fact, almost started to smell a bit incense'y. When I woke up this morning I could still smell the perfume on my wrist but it had taken another turn and become just sugary smelling.

So, suffice to say I don't like this perfume and find it stupidly overrated. It does smell OK on me after 12 hours or so but there's no way I'd waste my money on a perfume that takes hours to only even smell OK.

In my experience this is not the kind of perfume many men seem to like so if a woman is tempted to buy this in the belief it'll turn her into a man magnet then I recommend looking elsewhere for a much better, more alluring scent! I find that, on me anyway, men tend to like lighter fruity / floral / vanilla'ish perfumes. I doubt that if I had Just Cavalli it would be a compliment getter! Also, any woman thinking this kind of perfume is OK to wear to the office, it's really not - do everyone a favour and find a lighter, fresher, less sickly perfume to wear for work purposes!!

If I had to say what is the sexiest perfume I had smelt: THIS. SEXY is the perfect word to describe it. I do not usually wear this type of perfumes, I prefer floral or fruity-floral like Daisys or Blooming Bouquet, but this is an exception and I LOVE IT.
Can't stop smelling my arms when I wear it. If I were lesbian, I would love a girl who wears this hot perfume.

To me this smells like alien with the yellow floral twang that lady million has. I bought 30ml for £6.99 in b&m bargains unsniffed and love it! It's very strong and long lasting too

This is a beautiful and comforting fragrance! To my nose it is the love child of Hypnotic Poisen by CD and The One by D&G! It is so fluffy yummy! Sweet but not so sweet! Creamy but not powdery! It's just right! It is lovely! I can see this being a go to in the fall, winter, and early Spring! Just beautiful!

I'll start by saying that I bought Just Cavalli mainly because I am so in love with Just Cavalli Just Gold.
Just Cavalli is beautiful too, I love the tiare flower. Somehow the fragrance makes me think of Turkish delight.
It starts a bit sharp and this put me off the first few times I tested it. But if you leave it to dry down, the harsh neoroli softens and moves into the background. The tiare flower moves to centre stage, supported by palisander wood, and it becomes a beautiful creamy scent with a very soft incense in the background. Just wonderful.
The flacon is stunning.

Edit 21.04.2017: I think I may love this more than Just Gold at the moment... I caved in and bought a backup bottle yesterday!!

I loved it on my work colleague on whom it smelled soft and sexy. Ordered it myself but it seems that the sharp opening lingers too long on me and I can smell it on my own self, which is not a good sign regarding body chemistry. Comments I got from my friends: 'like spa cosy towels with something'. Pretty but not too sexy.

I'd say this fragrance comes into play sharply. It's strong and quite bold. On my skin it's mostly sour and slightly sweet. Nevertheless I like it, even if its sillage is moderate on me in 1-2 hours and then it weakens. Still it lasts for more than 12 hours.
I see it as a fragrance for a woman, not for a girl. It can be suitable for office but not only. Sharp, sour, slightly powdery, white flowers plus rose, light ash pink, slightly sweet, these are adjectives that come to my head.

I find this a rich, heady and warm scent. In my opinion it is an evening or wintertime fragrance. I think it would be too potent and cloying for a summer day or to wear in an office environment. One spray is definitely enough. I agree that it is not a scent for a young person.

Love it! Love all of cavalli. I had jc pink before and we just love that one but the price is all over the place. So this one is loud powdery and has that woody note from Alien in it. I prefer this too alien as alien has that baby diaper smell whereas cavalli uses pink florals and powders around the woods. This is like some overseas Moroccan Persian perfume. I love it get it!

Tested this for the first time today. I love it, it is beautiful and sexy- it is citrus musky woody to me. It smells incredibly sexual and sensual- I would definitely wear this scent to 'get it on'. I mostly detect musk and woods with sharp citrus notes. I love it. I will definitely purchase this when i see it go cheap. I love the smell- it is unique and I just find it sexy sexy sexy.

One of my new found favourites- all I can say is wow! This perfume blew me away!

I just received the bottle of 75 ml today and what can I say? First, this was a blind buy and I had absolutely no idea what to expect from it. I mean, I can see the notes listed here and I read all the reviews but still I couldn't imagine what it would be like. I have never smelled the tiare flower or the neroli and my nose isn't that expert to detect all the notes. But I'm so happy with my purchase and for the fact that I gave this perfume a chance, I can't even believe I like it so much. No, I'm using the wrong words: I don't like it, I love it.

So, it's been a while that I have had this wish to try one of Cavalli's perfumes. I'd like to remark that one of my first perfume experiences was not less than a Cavalli perfume - Oro which I loved so much and it will always have a special place in my heart. But then, I almost forgot his fragrances and I was so curious and eager to have one. When I saw that they had this bottle in offer for 27 euros, I immediately thought to purchase it and I must admit that I couldn't wait for the package to come ( I ordered this one and a 100 ml bottle of Burberry London ) and I couldn't be happier for giving this gem a chance.

Until I opened the confetion I was seriously in doubt - was I gonna like it ? So first, I draw near my nose the bottle cap and a natural exlamation comes from me- Oh my god, what is this smell? I love it! And I hadn't even sprayed it on my wrist. After spraying it three things came to my mind: I was 99% sure I had smelled this perfume a long time ago on someone, it's like JC was very popular back in time and I can assume it was being that it was created in 2006 and during these ten years I am so sure that have smelled it before because my brain instantly recognised it; secondly this is so powerful for being an eau de toilette, it was necessary only one spray to fill the room, stronger than any other eau de perfume I have and I can tell that it has an unbelievable sillage and longevity; at first I could smell a strong floral note that presented itself in a slightly harsh and bitter way but after 30 minutes it settles down and the middle and heart notes reveal themselves and it transforms into the most delicious soft, creamy, balmy, rich smell. It's delicate but warm and sexy at the same time. It doesn't shout attention Hey I'm here! like Alien does, but has a very unique way to present itself. It says I'm here but I don't need to show off because I already know who I am, it's the others who must search for me not the other way. It makes a woman feel confident and sexy for sure. Third, I don't think this perfume is so suitable for summertime or when it's very hot. I'm testing it now and it's like 35° degrees and it's so cloying and powerful that mixed with the warm weather it's making me feel a little bit dizzy and causing a headache. A cooler weather would be much more suitable or during the night time.

Overall, I am so excited to have purchased the full bottle and to have added to my collection this extraordinary, special, incredible scent.

I recieved a bottle of 50 ml today and i am surprised,because i was expectint something more sweet.It's so sexy and warm.Just perfect!

This is sweet but not overly so, sexy but in a subtle way, it becomes creamy and enveloping, it's dynamic rather than girly and I brought the biggest bottle because I loved it at first smell.
I've read a lot of people commenting it has a great longevity, sadly it seems not to be so for me. Twenty minutes top and I can't smell it anymore, I could shower in it and it wouldn't make a difference. The hotter the weather is, the longer I can smell it, but it still doesn't reach an hour so it was very disappointing. I still like it though, I rarely can walk by the bottle without taking a sniff of it.

UPDATE: right, so this is slowly growing on me. I'm starting to get the tiare a bit more and the drydown is not bad. Still, not one I would've bought if I'd tested it.


I was SO disappointed in this one. When I saw tiare flower I jumped at it. But on me this turned very sharp. Not at all the creamy experience I usually have with tiare. I wish they had added some vanilla, or something like it, to soften it a bit.

It's not ghastly, but certainly not what I was expecting.

I also am a Gold Fan and it reminds me of gold but less sweet more sparkle, a bit floral but it dries down creamy all the same.

Very, very nice. The Just Cavalli Gold version is one of my favorite perfumes, so I was curious enough of the original to try a sample of it. It is delectable. Creamy white flowers without going into the bubblegum vibe of Roberto Cavalli EdP. If you like this one and are into gourmands, do try Just Cavalli Gold. It's amazing.

I sprayed this at 6am and more than 12 hours later my husband laid on me and told me I smelled so good. I love this fragrance. I get whiffs of it all day and its heavenly.

Similar to a mix of Alien EDT and Alien Eau Extraordinaire by Thierry Mugler. Unfortunately the tiare flower doesn't agree with me, it's too cloying.

Wearing this today, I thought it reminded me of Womanity (TM) but now I agree I think its very much like Alien (TM! It starts off a bit punchy and strong but then fades to a beautiful soft powdery scent on the bottom notes. Got given this by a friend who gets free perfume to review in her job (lucky!) and she hated this one. Nice freebie :)

Tiare, tiara, tiara! If that's a flower scent that you enjoy as I do then you'll probably love this perfume.

This one was on sale on one of my country web mall, so after seeing that white flower is listed as one of the notes, i decided to blind buy it since white flower notes works so well with my skin chemistry.

But when i received it, i was so disappointed that the perfume does not smell as i anticipated. It smells so powdery and woody and it reminds me of old lady's house. I'm not brave enough to spray it to my skin yet as I'm worried it will give me headache (I hate woody smell!!!), but the spray to the paper strip does not give much hope either. Why did i think it smells more masculine than feminine?

I'm going to give it a benefit of a doubt and i will come back giving an updated review after i tried it on my skin.

1st edit: my colleague complains of "what is this strong smell? it gives me headache." I didn't tell her that i sprayed a little of this perfume in the air. Oh my God, 1st random review from random people is not so encouraging.

2nd edit: I tried on myself few other times and still give it the benefit of the doubt. I still hoping for the fresh, crisp smell from white flower and citrus, but the powdery and woody note is so overpowering any other smell. I gave up and decide this is not for me so I gave to it my husband since it is so masculine.

Turn out, it smells much better on my husband. All the woody and powdery intermingling with the smell of sweat and tobacco really smells sexy and interesting! So there.

A heavenly scent.. Very elegant, unique and rich. Notes are very well balanced and layers perfectly to generate this masterpiece!! This is my second bottle and lm going to buy a third one soon. People always stop to ask me what am l wearing and complement me on it. Silage is rather noticeable and longevity is excellent (6-8 hrs+) depends on where you spray it; on skin or on clothes. A truly remarkable scent, very versatile and unlike any other. I am happy l own it among my other 65 bottles :) Lol

My first impression of Just Cavalli is sharp, dry, and bitter with a hint of floral. The neroli really dominates the first fifteen minutes or so. For another half hour, the neroli pulls out a strange soapy smell, almost like ivory bar soap. It is then that I'm able to see how people are able to compare it to some Alien fragrances. It takes some patience, but after that I'm finally able to smell the tiare flower, and then it turns pleasant and creamy, and almost balmy. It wore for over eight hours on me. It isn't my style personally, but it makes me think of warm summer nights.

Edit: There's no banana note and it does NOT smell like bananas, but it somehow makes me think of and want bananas!

It's a strong Neroli n Anais w florals n did not work w my chemistry...darn... If anyone wants it, I've a 1/2 of 2.5oz to swap!

Personally I would say that it's close but sweeter & stronger than Cacharel's Anais Anais and it is rated as being close to Alien eau Extraodinaire. Sweeter n more nutmegy than Amarige by Givenchy. They say smell like Poeme Lancome but i don't think so.. I think it does smell like Chloe Neroli which did work on my skin! Sadly this did no work on my. Swapped it out!

Just cavalli is a beautiful exotic white floral. Its very heavy and last for a long time. Also it reminds me of the red Amarige, remembered it was very popular in the early 90's.
If you like florals, then its a must have.

I wondered whether there was something weird going on with my body chemistry as a few perfumes that I’ve tested recently seem to have an aniseed note which hasn’t been listed. I’m relieved to find that anise has been mentioned in reviews below. I have tested this twice and like the reviewer directly below me, have had two different encounters. The first time it was a forgettable creamy citrus, the second, that light but bitter anise was the main and lingering note. The weather was warmer the first time. The second test was at a discount chemist that keeps the perfumes in a window display so the bitterness could be from exposure to sun and light. I will test it again out of curiosity but I’m pretty sure it’s not for me.

funny how parfumes can change due your chemistry. Today I received my bottle ! I sprayed it on and now I smell more neroli and the last time more tiareflower. Maybe it has to dry down more. But it smells like a complete other parfume right now ;-) maybe it's because it's more warm at the moment. When I tested this one, it was a lot colder.

Now, it's 6 in the moring, so after 7 hours, this parfume turns in a very soft rosy smell! So lovely :-0 The scent is back to how I smelled it last time.

To me,this is a very sugary sweet white floral. I find it powdery rather than creamy like others say. It is sweet like simple syrup and very vanilla in a cake frosting sort of way. At first there seems to be a bit of spice,perhaps star anise. I smell the tiare but like it done better in Denise Richards perfume. I can only wear this layered underneath DR to project it more. By itself,it is not for me. The bottle is sort of childish. I could do without this one in my collection. Could see this worn in winter months as well as summer for those who like it.

Can someone tell me if it is it the tiare flower or the neroli that lingers on the nozzle? That I find to be reminiscent of a very familiear early 90's smell and very lovely too! It hangs around for the briefest moment when you spray Just Cavalli. Then it all goes softly sour for awhile before showing it's personality. What a beautiful floral this one is. It's warm but not wintery warm. I find it very likeable and comforting too. Feel good stuff. This is one pretty scent! The shape of the flacon is not wow but the quality and the finish is impressive.

the first spray i don't like that much a little bit weird imo but after 2 min it's so nice! And than i know it! It's a light version of alien! A little bit different but it's in the same derection! I really smell a light alien in this scent. So if that perfumme is to heavy for you i try this one!

I tryed this one in store. Wow! how a lovely scent. Starts fresh but at once also warm, I don't know how tiare smells but it's sooo getting my attention ;-) I coudn't keep smelling my wrist witch is in my case, a very good thing! At the end it does really smell rosy. So, this piramid is simple but I do smell all the ingredients. And also special is that I smell different notes while sniffing. So, this one doesn't get bored at all. It last about 5 hours on my skin. Witch is quite normal I think. In beginning I smell it by turning my wrist, later on it's more close to the skin. For me a perfect summer parfume! Sensual in a good way! and word it's price I think ( here 40 euro for 50 ml )

Gorgeous. A little less neroli, though and WIN!

This is a balader parfume for me, I find it so easy to wear both day and nigh, fall and spring, even in winter maybe, and it is, just as almost every Cavalli's parfume, a feminine and anything but "cheap" in the nose, parfume!
It is kind of seductive, kind of simple, kind of different, and noticable but not in a way that it can be called heavy!
Definitelly one of the must haves!

I am amazed, that it's so good. I haven't tried anything that good by Roberto Cavalli so far.
I like it's bitterness and subtle sourness.
It's so nice to smell it.
Delightful white floral.

I LOVE this fragrance. It changes a lot during the drydown, and depending on how humid the weather is, and how oily your skin is. Mainly, it smells like a combination of Jean-Paul Gaultier Classique, Thierry Mugler Alien Sunessence and tiare flower. The tiare flower is very prominent, but not in a sunlotion, synthetic Haiti kind of way, but with a more clean, dry and sometimes almost bitter feeling to it - at least in the beginning. Other days - in colder, more dry weather (typical Scandinavian weather) it has a rosey undertone.
I also own the golden Roberto Cavalli with the monogram lid. I really like that one as well, but it is sooo heavy and sometimes even nautiating. This has the same kinda vibe to it, but this one is way more young, fresh and tolerable if you (or othera around you!) are sensitive to heavy fragrances.
I am not crazy about the packaging and bottle. It is not as glamorous as the golden Roberto Cavalli, and the big logo thing + the pink snakeskin makes it a bit teenage girly and almost tacky.

I have had Just Cavalli for quite a while. JC is a beautiful, warm, tiare dominant perfume. There's something clean about it, I get kind of a clean laundry/clean skin undertone, overlaid by this beautiful, sexy sweet floral. JC reminds me somehow of TM Alien, but much more wearable and not quite as "purple". I only have one issue with JC - it's strong. I am not super sensitive to perfume, but much of the time I get a headache from it. The lasting power is super amazing, and on my skin not much is needed (this lasts easily 8+ hours on me). I would add this to my favorites if I could escape the headaches...

Still, wonderful perfume! Almost a love for me.

2 days ago I bought this fragrance after testing many many perfumes for about a month ,I've wore many many perfumes in my life despite that I am only 21, I thing that this one is something fresh &young and easily to wear it all day.And althought it is edt it stays in my skin at least 5 hours!I can still smell it when I touch my fingers on where I sprayed after 8 hours and I sprayed only twice.... :)

I "accidentally" got this while hunting down Just Cavalli Gold. What a happy mistake! I ended up finding both, and I adore both of them, but I actually prefer this to the Gold.

The floral is gorgeously blended and I would have sworn there was a whole lot more going on than three notes here. I'm getting the rosewood from the start and it creates a depth to the fragrance that is simply exotic. The soft floral drydown is suspiciously like Gold, but does not have the chocolate smell of Gold so I feel this will be more successful in warm weather.

This is one of my favorites. The blend of the tiare flower and the rosewood smells so juicy. It lasts the entire day, which is a pleasant surprise since it's an edt. I really can't believe there are only 3 notes. It has so much depth. The notes are perfect and very well blended. I got the gift set at TJMaxx at a good price and I highly recommend it. I'm considering stocking up since TJMaxx has it at such low prices. I don't ever want to run out of this masterpiece.

How wrong was I to doubt this fragrance! yes I was shallow, I judged it by it's bottle and marketing and yes you can all scold me for that...I was wrong. This is gorgeous! Summer in a bottle! I ordered a sample because I noticed it had tiare flower (love that note) and decided to give it a shot. And I can't stop smelling myself!

I've never been, but I imagine this is how Polynesia smells. Beautiful women wearing leis of beautiful smelling white flowers. My skin drinks every last drop of perfume and previous Cavalli perfumes I've tried and enjoyed have actually stood the test of longevity. This one is no different. I got a good 3-4 hours out of it tonight and for me that's a Dior level of lasting power!

I was wrong about this fragrance. It's not overly young and sweet - it's a lovely creamy, rather sophisticated tropical white floral With a "high end body lotion" vibe. Subtle but noticeable and I'd say it's great night scent for those who like to smell clean and natural and a fine day scent for lovers of orientals and strong floral woody scents like myself.

Give it a go, Mr Cavalli might surprise you! Definitely another lesson in not judging a book by its cover for me.

Update: It's lasted me on average 10 hours. About the longest lasting perfume I've ever owned!

I had the same experience as Lilah Veil: this seems very close to Roberto Cavalli Eau de Parfum. It's possibly a little sweeter, a little lighter, but on me very close to the slightly older fragrance - the Eau de Parfum's teenage sister?

This isn't a bad smell, this isn't a great smell. It's just...there! I can't even pinpoint any specific note in this! It smells like it's trying to be a fresh and clean and everything in between! It's painfully synthetic! I personally don't care if a fragrance is high end or if it's a knock off, as long as my sniffer enjoys that to hell with the name, price or designer! That being said, I wouldn't wear this is I was paid to, it's just so bland!

Wow! I have had some perfumes in my time but this has just jumped to the top of the list. I agree with one of the other reviewers that this smells like it has more than just three notes. It is every perfume I love in one. It changes from smelling fresh like clean linen to warm and comforting to sexy and I love all three. It is like Thierry Mugler Alien but lighter. It could even be the little sister of Dior Poison original or hypnotic. It is pure bliss. I am so glad I bought a 75ml gift set. Enchanting. Please don't discontinue Roberto Cavalli. This is a masterpiece in my opinion.

I've never been interested in Roberto Cavalli perfumes, I don't know why.
Some time ago, while visiting a perfumery, I thought I have nothing to lose except of the sense of smell and I reached for a bottle of Just Cavalli (by the way, the design of that bottle doesn't appeal to me at all). I decided to be brave, so I sprayed my wrist and my first thought was - I want it!
I was schocked, confused, bewitched and impressed at the same time.

I knew, that the main role plays a bunch of white flowers, but I thought that there's a plenty of other notes in this composition, because Just Cavalli smells rich and complex, so I was literally surprised, when I checked the structure of notes and realized that it's all about only three notes!
I love how the sweet, dense and creamy tiare flower is mixed with rosewood. It smells so rich, mature and classy.
I can detect neroli note too - it's bittersweet, bright, very pleasant and vibrant.

The lasting power and sillage are impressive, I can smell Just Cavalli for about 8-9 hours and it always leaves a nice, subtle trail.
This is one of my favorite fragrances and definitely my favorite white floral perfume. A stunner, highly recommended masterpiece.

Something about this fragrance just doesn't work for me. Tried one spray on my hand and it seemed sorta ok . As time progressed it went from ok to slightly ugh. Rosewood isn't very prominent in Just Cavalli and to be honest the florals seem a bit smothered in almond custard. Because that's pretty much all I'm smelling bitter almond and vanilla maybe with a pinch of fruit as a garnish?
I almost could see this as a summer flanker to Dior Hypnotic Poison. To sum up - nice for someone else , but not my flavor of custard. Too bad too,because a gift set was only $15 at the discounter.

To me this is a spicy floral blast of carnation (must be the tiare). Just gorgeous, reminds me of Lilly Pulitzer Beachy. I do see the comparison to Anais Anais. It's stronger but similar.

Reminds me of Alien, but different, very similar note in there although not as strong or as long lasting but still a very good frag.

Snagged for a song at Marshall's and detect not much difference at all in Roberto Cavalli - Roberto Cavalli EDP For Her. 'Just Cavalli' is a very sexy, seductive, fragrance that smells high end and is. I believe the Original RC is a bit more juicy, sophisticated and deeper but both are so closely related I can do without one; though I won't because they are so lovely.

There is something about the original I find much more dazzling. I cannot say exactly what that is but will try for the sake of a helpful review. I am not trusting the listed notes at all here. I smell a lot of amber and a hint of pepper in JC. RC is chock full of both. RC compared to JC is maybe a bit more exotic with a creamier benzoin, golden amber and peppery note and that is all. JC is RC light. The ingredients smell basically identical to me regardless what is listed above. There is much more to this fragrance and you will probably find that on the RC page. I think these two are (almost) twin sisters. RC has a deep, bronze tan and wears lots of gold. JC is not pale by any means. She is medium golden, gorgeous, equally shiny but a tad more subtle than her sister without all the bold statement jewelry RC flaunts. That's about it. Since I love the original so much, I must say I love this one also.

Maybe JC is for days and RC for nights?... but... I wear what I want regardless light, dark or season. Both are sexy, sophisticated, classy, well-put-together, confident and fun. Love! :)

This is my second review on this fragrance and I'm wearing it today - that's why I feel the need to comment on it again:

I have the weirdest relationship with this scent! I can't seem to make up my mind on whether I like it, love it or even dislike it!? This morning, when I smelt the spray nozzle (before finally deciding which scent to go for) I thought: Oh heck, let's give this one a swirl. That's a good eight hours since now and "Just" is still with me, staying strong and cozy. I definately LIKE it. But then, the next time I'm going through my collection trying to decide what to wear, I know I almost never reach for this one. It's like; I smell it, and then: "naaaah, too heavy". But then when I do wear it, I actually enjoy myself and think I smell so good/creamy and soft whenever I get whiffs of it throughout the day. How weird is that?!

There's just something about it that makes me want to smell it every now and then, yet I cant understand why I wouldn't want to wear it more often? I could not call this a love, yet I've had "Just" up for swap a few times, but everytime I've changed my mind - clinging on to it, saying to myself: "I need it, just a little bit longer. Maybe I'll love it later". So I've found that I just can't give it up, yet I'm not sure if it's a steady "like" either.

Out of aaaall my perfumes, this is the one I'm most shifty about. I have no explanation of what's going on or what this scent does to me. I happen to love it one day, hate it the other day, like it again after a few weeks.

How weird am I? Well.. here I am today, wearing Just Cavalli, feeling fine.

For me, it smells just like Gabriela Sabatini classic navy, mega strong and pain of the head, not for me.

I saw the gift set at TJ Max yesterday and sneaked a spray. Bad I know! It didn't seam strong at first. This is one of those scents that grow or expand while it's on my skin. I liked it immediately. At first it smells slightly citrusy, soapy, a tiny bit like sunscreen. As it dries down, it becomes sweeter and a VERY creamy floral. A touch sweeter and it would be too much for me. Two sprays on my hand lasted all afternoon. I think this is a high quality scent. As it is, I love it and want a bottle asap!

I believe this is very similar in essence to the new Narciso Rodriguez Narciso. Not the top, but the dry down on my skin smells similar and has the same creaminess, but Just Cavalli is not as sweet.

I don't know what I smell exactly. I have never taken a whiff of pure jasmine, neroli, OR rosewood. I kinda know jasmine because I've had pure jasmine oils and perfumes that reviews unanimously determined it was ONLY jasmine you smell. Judging from this, I don't really smell jasmine. I DO know, I love this already. I have Nuit Etoilee, barely used, that I have kept for use during this holiday season. It's the scent dreams are made of...or so I thunk. Now that I've purchased this, blind, at TJ Maxx for cheap, my holiday scent may have changed. This is only comparable to JPG Ma Dame, well...of the scents I've known myself. The instant I sprayed this, it was the holidays for me. It's dreamy, magical, feminine, it's some of the best...of any memories I have.
I'm not happy about this. Robert Cavalli isn't someone I even care to find out about. I haven't the least interest, no inclination to even TRY another of his scents, well UNTIL.....I sprayed this custard filled long john of a scent. In my world, that's a term for da BEST! It's just about that creamy also. It's puddin' in muh mouth.
I think, to say the very least, even if you dislike this, it's pretty unique. Yeah it's sugar coated sweets and blah blah blah, but it's a UNIQUE sugary same ol' same ol'. It's the freshest, dreamiest custard filled long john with a prettier, COULD be tastier frosting/icing that is gonna make you WANT this to be the best. It might not be for you, but it has ended up to be to me.
It's not really a good blind buy because it seems to be extraordinary only to those of us that love it. That's to say with any ol' perfume. But I think a LOT of people, and reviews show, think this is quite the pretty picture! It's a holiday picture for me for many years to come I'm sure. It sure can be a summer scent if you wish. For me, it's a Christmas wish! DO at least try if you like sweet, pretty scents at all.

Instant love with this one! Wow! This is such a pleasant and inoffensive smell and I just know this is going to be my new favourite perfume.

Incidentally, this is my first Cavalli scent, but I have to say that this perfume makes me want to explore other perfumes from this brand. Did I say wow? I'm totally smitten. :)

This is my go to perfume for Spring, Summer and going to the gym. When I'm exercising, everyone around me asks me what I am wearing as it smells so good... I find that Cavalli fragrances tend to mix very well with my Ph. This scent feels a little sharp and flowery at first but once it dries down, all I can smell is the Tahitian Tiare flower, and I love it! This is not a masterpiece but a lovely and feminine perfume best suited for daily wear in warmer weather

This is review two for me. I just can't get enough of this perfume! I normally mix things up with scent...a lot. But I have been wearing this at least every other day for months now & just bought a larger sized bottle on sale (bottle no.2) because I don't want to run out of it. I mix it often with Auric Blends "LOVE" perfume oil which boosts the cozy factor like crazy, or even with a spritz of Vanilla anything. It is decadent, soft, long lasting, and smells so "cozy". I get compliments on this scent EVERY time I wear this in public, which is also a rarity for me. If you are on the fence, DO NOT try it...it will leave more for the rest of us who never want the world to run out of JUST! :)

I like the concept of this perfume, sweet and optimistic. I am a fan of Cavalli perfumes which are all high quality and long lasting. Here there is no exeption. A sweet flowery perfume with a wonderful bottle. I could wear all year round even in the hot days. The neroli and tiare combination is very well blended. I am very happy with my choise.

Upon first spray, it gave me a slight headache, but I immediately liked the scent. It has a heavy feel, but that wears down rather quickly (within 30 minutes to an hour). It's a very fresh, sweet, crisp scent that warms into smooth, creamy, sweet. It's better as it progresses. I like it the first hour to two hours, then it becomes love. Sprayed VERY lightly, I could see this being office friendly. I could use this as an everyday fragrance. I've never smelled a fragrance like it. Rather unique and fun; good for everyday. Just be cautious. This could definitely cause headaches. Light sprays--better yet, just walk through a light mist of it. This thing has longevity!

This didn't smell at all like Alien to me. Alien made me nauseous and hurt my head ALL day. This is softer, sweeter, and I very much prefer it.

One single spray of this and it will last ALL freakin' day! A BIG bonus for those of you who loves this fragrance! But for real guys, I don't think I have smelt anything else this long lasting. This is one of the most fierce perfumes I have in my collection. I think it's very well made, and I've had it for a while now, trying to make it a love, but it's just a like for me (if even that). Don't know why. Soft & warm - yes, but a little too much/heavy for me - yes (and I didn't know that was possible, because I do like some heavy stuff). Well done, just not for me. I can enjoy it on others, though, so don't let my review scare you off from trying it. It might be a LOVE for you :)

Just Cavalli is one I love to wear right out the shower before bed, especially on a summer night. I haven't really smelled another perfume like it. The tiare and rosewood smell sensual and comforting, and the neroli gives it a clean and soapy aspect also. I like the simplicity. It's easy and casual. This is not overly sexy or sweet, yet still remains feminine and sensual. The dry down is a bit powdery, but lovely and smooth, not bothersome.

Nice sexy strong warm seductive scent , I love it !

A spiky white floral with sharp spicy top notes, probably the woods, over a thin white floral. Not bad, but so not me. Great staying power. I tried it again and got Orange-cicle with spring blossoms over the top, a vanilla-bergamot combo similar to Hanae Morae only less invasive, and spiked with some faint, light florals. Good day time/tea party/ light office fragrance. Not my style but an okay perfume

I have to fully agree with the press material on my sample card that states “A creamy, sexy floral: dazzling, magnetic and seductive”: there really isn’t much to add to this description. What you get here is indeed an uncomplicated floral creaminess, grounded on a balmy-woody base and brightened by citrusy whiffs from orange blossom in the opening, and once more I am proven that simplicity is sometimes (often?) more appealing than over-constructed complexity.

Tiare is one of those floral notes that are able to attract me like honey would do to a bear, and despite of the fact I’ve never smelled the real thing (sigh) there are some fragrances I perceive like realistic representations of what this flower would convey to someone visiting for the first time Polynesia, mostly when in combination with coconut.
Few tiare-based scents though, like Just Cavalli, seem to skip those dreamy scenarios and take a different, less exotic path: the glorious Tahitian flower plays the main role here but, instead of acquiring the typical sunscreen aspect and hence sending you right to a white sand+palms beach, it melts harmoniously with the complimentary notes to create a progressively creamier and warmer aura.
From the flirtatious and vaguely soapy neroli in the opening to the more sensuous and almost oriental drydown, dominated by elegant accents of rosewood and lightly sugared amber, tiare seems to embrace the whole composition with its immaculate petals and its soothing aroma. What a lovely, adorable little flower it is!
Sillage is moderate and longevity is decent on my skin, especially for an Edt (it lasts about 6 hours): despite of the prominent floral notes, this scent has a certain softness to it that would perhaps make it a good choice for someone who wants to venture into the white florals territory for the first time (at least, before trying the most sophisticated and sultry ones).

All in all Just Cavalli comes out as a very versatile, youthful and easy to wear fragrance to me, and I can see it perfectly worn in summer nights and/or in a romantic atmosphere... I like it almost to the point of having a little crush on it, it gives me very positive vibes, but I wouldn't say it's love for now :)

It is a subtle floral fragrance. It has the notes above perfectly blended , a moderate sillage, a remarkable longevity , managed within a discret and feminine elegance. I really enjoyed wearing it and it must be one of the first Tiare flower fragrance that did not "scream exotic island "! This can easily be worn as an urban fragrance . It is lovely !

At first I loved the perfume, but then it sort of changed to the smell of an Avon body lotion which my mom used, when I was a kid. Smells cheap. So it turns out that I don't actually like it.

Very strange today i tested this maybe 2 pm and still it smells, very good longevity, sillage is soft, at first smell was antonio banderas the secret for men, and now it smells creamy sandalwood. I was surprised when I saw that in this perfume is any sandalwood or cinnamon included...

The description by @patxaran of the opening of Just Cavalli being reminiscent of a "multivitamin candy with a bit of hot plastic smell" made me laugh out loud at its accuracy. However, with the drydown it becomes creamy and somewhat spicy and I sense the potential for it to develop into something that works...but unfortunately there's something in it that becomes almost rancid with my personal chemistry. I've never had problems with tiare or neroli or rosewood in other fragrances, but with this one I honestly become nauseated and ill-feeling. I have to give this sucker an A+ for tenacity though; despite taking a long, hot shower and even using dish soap on my wrists, I can not seem to wash this scent off!

I love this one! It's a party, flirty, center of attention and almost Paris Hiltonesque perfume. It is not particularly glamourous, more young and warm and a perfect choice for a night out in a busy city. It will go well with your clutch bag and a metallic short dress.. i m a g i n e

This one surprised me. I have a few other Cavalli perfumes that I like ok but I don't tend to reach for very often. This one gets used regularly by me. I'm surprised at only three notes listed...I can't imagine that that is accurate.From the first time I tried it, I detected anise...not overwhelming but no doubt that it was there.It's not complex but, on me, is soft and sexy with a playfulness about. My hubby loves it ( he rarely comments on my fragrances) What I find interesting is that he said it smelled like Neccos. If you don't know what Neccos are, they are an old fashioned candy wafer that comes in a roll with various colors and flavors.Each candy disc is coated with white powder and they are not overly sweet....made with real sugar...not the fake stuff like everything these days. When he told me that, a light came on! One of my favorite Necco wafer flavors is the licorice one and that's what this reminds me of. Soft, powdery, sweet licorice with a nice candy jasmine edge and a soft, sweet, barely woody drydown."Powdery" sums this up for me....NOT dusty powder though. Sweet, halo of fluff is more like it. I have scent retardant skin most of the time and this one has great sillage and longevity when I wear it. It's not a masterpiece but it makes me happy when I wear it.

This was a blind buy from Marshall's. I love this scent. I didn't think 3 fragrance notes could be so unique. It's very floral with a strong woody undertone. It's like Thiery Mugler's Alien which also has 3 fragrance notes. However, The more I wear this, the more depth and complexity I notice. The sillage is good and 2 sprays lasted the entire day.

first, i smell nothing :S but then it opened with warm and exotic smell. maybe because of i smell this after roberto cavalli(yellow bottled) but i find this one is too low. nice smell, but nothing more.

I am still confused about this one, I blindly bought it because I adore the package. The first sniff wasn't so good, smell like plastic toy a little, so I was disappointed. I went back to it again, and it smell nice the second time, creamy and sensual. It is definitely long lasting and powerful, one spritz is more than enough. I think it smells good on the days I don't smoke, still experiemnting.

Can't stomach the cloying powdery masculine note. Have over 20 spray vial samples of this...getting rid of them tomorrow and fast!!!

When this first came to the market, I smelled it and for some reason it reminded me of Ivoire Balmain. I already had a bottle of Ivoire so I passed and kept it moving. Today I was in TJMaxx and they had a bottle of the Just Cavalli for $29.99. I snatched it up thinking what a deal as the Ivoire is over $100.
I got it out to the car, opened it eagerly and was disappointed to find that it smells nothing like the aforementioned.

The notes above state that it contains three main components. To my nose, I can smell nothing other than the Tiare flower. I do not get any of the Neroli at all and the base note - I have no idea what that smells like on it's own. I am, however, very familiar with the Tiare flower and that is all I get in this scent.

With that said, it is a very sweet, powedery and feminine white floral. It is POWERFUL right out of the bottle so spray lightly. Naturally you can always go back and add more but if you overspray, this will bring on one beast of a migraine. For as strong as it comes out of the bottle, it will be fully gone after 4 or 5 hours with no trace left at all.

I will be keeping this bottle, I like it well enough but to be honest, it is not a very original fragrance. It doesn't develop into something remarkable or mindblowing. And though I disagree with some of the reviewers that called it cheap, it is not anything I would pay more than $30 for. I could see this being a Brittany Spears fragrance or a celebrity scent along those lines.

Strongly reminds me of plastic children's toys. Don't want to smell like that.

I received Just Cavalli as a Christmas gift, and I was very happy with my gift since I've been eyeing this for some time.
However, after wearing it over a couple of months, I'm quite disappointed.
Don't get me wrong, the scent is a lovely mouth-watering creamy white floral with a tropical vibe thanks to the tiare. I don't get much neroli though. I know it's not listed but to my nose it feels like anise, somewhat reminiscent of Lolita Lempicka. The smell doesn't develop much, it's fairly linear.

The big disappointment comes from the longevity, it doesn't last at all! After about an hour or so, it's already gone! I tried spraying it on clothes, but it doesn't last either. It's such a shame because it is otherwise a great scent.

I bought a bottle and unfortunately I'm not in love so it will be going back. I do see a resemblance to alien which does not work on me either. It also reminds me of the drydown in beckham signature for her Just cavalli sits close to the skin and never developed beyond the thick leathery notes. I was hoping to get more neroli but instead it felt a little to masculine on me with a humidor and leather scent.

The bottle is fabulous! This doesn't smell sweet to me at all, but very mysterious without being heavy or smokey. I would actually prefer it to have a bit more sweetness to it.

Oh my gosh, this is such a sensual scent! You can wear it in daytime and at evenings as well. Feminine and sensual. Longevity is very good.

On me this scent is reminiscent of Vivienne Westwood Boudoir.

This is such a great scent! I wore it lots last summer, it is unique, I had people asking me what I was wearing! Bright, sunny, smooth, uplifting, and also so feminine and sexy, a real woman scent, nothing candy floss about it...I see no resemblance at all with Alien!?
The tiare/ neroli duo gives the scent a sunny bright summery vibe, tropical almost..I don't think it does as well in freezing weather though..but next spring I will happily wear it again..the best of 2012 IMO!!!

I love Cavalli !
I had couple of his fragrances and I always thought that they are different from everything else.
I just got this one and I like it a lot. But I do have Alien too and I don't find it similar to it in any way, not even close. For me this is a softer version of Roberto Cavalli Roberto Cavalli EDP one. Overall very nice fragrance.
Cavalli fragrances in my opinion were always long lasting and that one does not make difference.

After reading a few more of the reviews, I do get the Alien resemblance from this fragrance. Like I said, not bad at all. The TM Alien resemblance is a little more subdued in JUST and a little more floral.

I have a few Cavalli's and love them Pink and Her and Oro. I tried this one JUST, and it is fine but not as distinctive as I was expecting from Cavalli. I am such a fan now of his fragrances. It is a pretty floral but reminds me of other florals and doesn't seem to last quite as long as I was expecting. Not bad, just not as GREAT as a Cavalli should be or has been. I guess my expectations are high.....I hope Coty did not diminish this line or have too much input. I am considering Serpentine next and hope it is at the quality level of all his other greats!

got this last Christmas, I love this fragrance, pleasant, sexy and hot scent.you can wear it day and night, both works good.stay long, and it is god.pudrig and floral fragrance ... hard to describe . but for me its wonderful!

I really like this fragrance. It smells cream like, floral, and a bit powdery that is soft.


After a few hours, I thought the scent was just close to the skin as it wasn't as strong when first applied but my son came home from school and could still smell it with me walking from room to room. So with that being said, I guess it has great staying power on me even though the bottle I have is a toilette.

However, my son thought it was a weird smell and said it burned his nose. Not a bad scent that stinks but just different.

I will try this on a different day and see if I get different results. Even if this is not for me, I think it would be really pretty and wonderful with some people's body chemistry.

I also like the bottle with the pink snake detail.

My husband just surprised me with a bottle of this for our 24th wedding anniversary. I adore this perfume! I am getting in to white floral's more and more as my tastes evolve and change, but one thing that usually stays the same in my perfume preferences, even if they are floral's is that I demand a warm, sweet base to anchor the scent. This one does so beautifully. Tiare flowers and neroli simulate a bit of a gourmand scent to my nose quite often and I think that must be what is going on here. The scent is warm, creamy, sparkling and soft. I don't get much silage, but it is more of a neck nuzzler to me. I told my husband it reminds me of "Love's Baby Soft", pink champagne and crazy soft, sexy angora sweaters with pearl buttons.
I think this is one of the most "girly" scents I own. Even the color of the perfume is a beautiful blush pink tone. The bottle is unique but I was disappointed in what is basically no more than a paper sticker of a snake print which adorns the top near the cap. That was a bit disappointing since everything else about this screams quality and thoughtful care that was put into the creation.
I think if you enjoy scents I consider to be similar ~~ soft, lingering ones like, "Guerlain's L'Instant" or "Lancome's Hypnose", "Guerlain's Insolence", or "YSL's Champs Elysees" you will probably appreciate JUST.

I'm a middle aged, chubby, very arty, plain jane type with a love of scent. Its my luxury. My perfume collection is close to 100 bottles carefully stored in a cool dark cupboard. I have just bought my Just Cavalli eau de parfum and its fabulous. It couldnt really go wrong for me containing my favourite scented flowers - neroli and tiare. I admit I was a bit worried it would be too powerful. I dont need another trigger for my terrible migraines. Apparently I am very sensitive to scent and medications.
It really is delish. The dry down is as lovely as the first spritz. Warm, woody and very modern. For me, perfection.

A more proper name would be "Just migraine" =)
So so strong, sticky and sharp. Its even hard to wash it away. What a disappointment.

Love this fragrance, really. It is rather subtle, and really has 3 notes only but the smell (at least on my skin) is truly divine.

Bought this for my fiance today its a beautiful fragrance that stays very much the same from start to finish and it does smell almost the same as alien but as a juicy fresh underlying a aroma that gives it charachter of its own and stops it from becoming a clone of said fragrance longivity is arounf 8hr with good sillage so ladys treat yourself to this little gem or fellas your lady to this because its excellent

This Cavalli started smelling kind of harsh like a strange mix of Alien and like if the old Lancome Poeme was a blended mix to it. Not like a nice neroli start at all. This harsh Poeme vibe put me off and I 've got the ALien I want...
I probably have to try it again , causecI love the Tiare in Gucci by gucci as well as in Gucci edt , but I might not wanna go through that top to find something to like in the second half.
I am glad I tried before buy'ed.
If you like Alien and the Poeme and can pull off strong ones...this could be for you ?
