I blind bought this yesterday at winners for $29.99. I like it, but don’t love it.
I’m a gourmand girlie, but I also love fresh scents. HOWEVER I don’t really love fresh florals, and this is exactly that to me.

The opening is super zesty citrus, but also SUPER forward on the floral note. I didn’t see anyone else talk about that in their reviews, so I wasn’t expecting it to be as floral as it was.

The dry down is nothing revolutionary, kinda floral, kinda sweet skin like scent. I feel like it’s reminiscent of a fresh floral bath and bodywork’s body mist. Performance was also meh, didn’t smell like much after 2-3 hrs.

If you like those kind of scents and see it at winners, definitely pick it up for the price, but if you’re a gourmand lover trying to dabble into fresh scents, I would pass!

I did the test of wearing it on my left wrist and putting Nina Ricci on the right, and I can assure you that there is absolutely no difference between the two, it's not even a dupe, actually this is a clone! Even for the sillage…
a little disappointed, it was a blind buy, but for those who like Nina and want to save money it's perfect, otherwise, pass your turn

Wendysilva95

I've had this for 2 weeks now. Upon first spray, I HATED IT!!! I'm not really a freshie when it comes to fragrances, I lean more toward warm gourmand sweet vanilla sexy spicy amber scents. I've been coming back to it because I want to love it so bad. I will say that I do like the dry down on my clothes. The praline and musk come through, making it slightly sweet towards the end. I will continue to play with it. Do I recommend? No.

Coming back to review. This is truly beautiful, it's your skin but better slightly sweet, woody with citrus.
I can imagine me wearing this all summer long. So stunning

shinitta

This smells soooooo horrible on me. I even layered it with vanilla and rose scents and still smelled the original scent. The smell almost makes me sick. I give this a 1 out of 10 only because of the bottle, but will NEVER where it again in life.

Frankton

I by accidentally bought this instead of shaghaf oud.
Thought I should give it a go and see, obviously a completely different scent.
Waited untill the dry down gave my wrists a little rub and it reminded me of a perfume I've just bought, and it's Colette by tocca.its fresh light, lemony less woody but it's actually ok.

Haven't given it a proper test or let it sit. But I think I'll keep it and use it in the spring/ summer for sure!

Amarigemariagelove

I really enjoyed this scent, it’s lovely. It reminds me of something but I can’t put my finger on it, I don’t have / haven’t had any of the ‘reminds me of’ currently on here, so I will have to keep trying to recall what scent memory I am getting from this one. However I totally agree the longevity is really disappointing, I think if it was a heavier scent I would have hit love. Had to overspray many times. Tested before bed lastnight and within 1hr the scent had almost disappeared, just very faint on skin, (stronger on clothes though). Woke up after sleeping and cannot smell on skin any longer and a very very faint scent left on clothes.

I will try to find a way to layer this to get the best out of it. Adore the bottle and the notes in it!! So such a shame on the lack of performance.

strawberrystar

This is the perfect fruity summer gourmand! It opens fruity with sweet lemon, then I get the peony and a sweetness from the praline. Many people complain about the performance and longevity of this fragrance, however I am happy it does not project too much since I can wear it on hot summer days. Regarding its longevity, it's actually one of the few perfumes I can still smell on myself after I wake up the next morning. Faintly, but still. I adore this fragrance, will repurchase for the summer forever for sure!

emilydavi

The scent is quite nice but VERY disappointed in the performance - I could hardly smell it on myself, which I didn't expect from Swiss Arabian!

Thunderthighs2023

So I bought this with hesitation mainly because of the longevity / performance reviews that were quite negative. I had tried a tester of this and totally loved it so I ordered it before I read the reviews. Fast forward to testing it today and I can gladly say that I am not disappointed. It is a light scent, not beast mode by any means. On initial spray the citrus hits you (amalfi lemon and lime) which gives way to the peony and praline. The praline makes this sweet and decadent but not too sweet and gives that gourmand kick that makes it beautiful. It stays on for 4-6 hrs strongly then dies down but not completely, you still get whiffs of it as you move about amd in your scent bubble. Such a lovely uplifting scent for day to day that will not choke anyone out. A beauty. So glad I din't listen to the naysayers. Sometimes you don't need a scent to last 12 hours.
Disclaimer; You will have to over spray to get it to stick. 1-2 sprays will not do the trick.

Tart APPLE & PRALINE Summer Gourmand. Opens with a fruity-citrus burst of lemon-lime, that transitions into an apple-praline heart rounded out by peony, all resting on a musky cedar base. When I first smelt this it read as a tart pineapple scent, but now I get an apple-praline scent. With average or slightly above average performance, this could be worn year-round, but ideally a spring-summer wearing experience. Reminders for me of Nina Nina Ricci & To Be Woman Police.

Contrast to Nina Nina Ricci:
Shaghaf Women is inspired by Nina NR, but they're not identical. SW is a little more tart, while Nina NR reads more clearly as an apple scent, with roughly equivalent performance.

Contrast to To Be Woman Police:
This is another scent inspired by Nina NR, but not identical. TBWP reads more clearly as an apple scent than SW, but all three get more and more similar as they drydown. Roughly equivalent performance.

Overall: Slightly above average performance with a beautiful fresh, sweet & tart scent, this is a perfect scent for a summer gourmand. It's a love for me. Enjoy!

I am discovering that not all fragrances suit everyone's taste, and that’s okay. I am not upset that some people dislike it as it makes it more special for me to enjoy. Shaghaf Women is exceptional, hiding in plain sight. It’s an amazing easy reach, everyday use type of dna. I purchased it early in the winter, and despite the cool weather, I continue to adore it more each time I try it. I am eagerly waiting for warmer weather to wear it out, knowing that it will be perfect for spring, especially with the scent carried by the wind. It also has the added bonus of attracting compliments. Someone who visited my sister noticed the delightful aroma and asked who was wearing it. I was the only one testing fragrances that day, and she must have caught a whiff of it as I walked past the living room.

Now I see why this Fragrance gets so much hate. For being Swiss Arabian, the quality on this lacks ..... an awful lot.

Smells VERY basic. It's not complex. It's got nothing interesting going on what so ever. This is a slightly sweet, tangy, citrus Fragrance, with JUST a touch of fresh woods. That's literally it.

It's even more simple in the scent profile than fragrances like D&G light blue.

THIS has the quality of a very cheap celebrity Fragrance. Staying power and projection is pretty horrendous, you ain't getting nothing past two hours. Season wise, spring and summer only.

I wouldn't pay more than ten bucks for this. Anything above that, you're seriously getting ripped off

(It's been almost a year since I've written this review and I've let it macerate in a cool, dark place. My opinion has not changed. If anything, I just hate it even more now. This is weak, cheap, and just completely awful.

MatchaCat

Green apple with sweet creamy white florals. This perfume has an airy quality to it. It's inoffensive but pretty generic. The blending feels a bit off and muddled. I wish they would blend it better or use different ingredients to make the green apple more photorealistic and brighter. The creamy aspect seems to work against it.

Smell: 6 out of 10
Longevity: 7 out of 10
Feminine

For reference, I'm female.

Well, I purchased from Amazon, and what I received was a moist, somewhat oily box that smelled like citrus, green apples, and sweet flowers. Considering the bottle was broken and the entire contents spilled in the Amazon box, you would have thought the smell was overwhelming. No, it was pleasant, but definitely didn't fill the room. It did like the smell. It could have been confused as D&G Light Blue flanker. Since the entire spilled bottle didn't wow me, I did not repurchase. Opted for something stronger with my refund credit. If it had been intact, I would have kept it, but oversprayed like I was using a firehose.
P.S. It is no longer on the SA website so I believe it may have been discontinued.

I bought Shaghaf for Women from Fragrancenet and it was a huge disappointment. Maybe I got a bad bottle. But if the distributor is selling such poor quality bottles to Fragrancenet, that's a shame. It was only 20 some dollars, but it was not even worth the 20 bucks. I do not get the floral or the apple or the praline or the peony. I get none of those notes. It literally smells as though someone filled the bottle with water, alcohol, and a few drops of citrus. Macerating the perfume has not helped, so it's going to go in the trash. Sometimes I think it might be safer to purchase from Amazon (even if it costs a bit more).

srimati

Opens up with a nice citrus and after 5 seconds you get cat pee. Not sure why perfumers combine citruses with animalic/indolic chemicals. It just ruins the perfumes.

sisce

This was a blind buy for me and i am still getting to know it. I don't think it's bad but i'm not really sure what to think.
For some reason i did not expect for it to smell like this at all.

I definitely get the citruses. My very first thought when smelling it was yellow and orange gummy bears. But it does not smell like candy as in very sickly sweet, but more fresh as in "these gummies where made from real lime juice!"

So i don't really know what to do with that.

I also definitely get the sourness from the apple. So if you like green apple smells, i think you might like this one. I thought it would be sweeter and softer though. I do think it is very sour - but still without making your mouth do the sourness scrunch thing.

I will say that i feel like this would be a lot better in warm weather, and i haven't really given it a chance for a full day because it is winter time right now. So i can't really comment on the longevity and such, but it seems alright.

I will definitely give this a shot during summer as it does feel very bright and fresh and i think it could be cute. But it's not super noteworthy to me. It's not bad, but if i had smelled it before buying i would probably have bought something else.

scholar1

citrus and a bit soapy to me. Does anyone get an animalic note from this? almost like it has an indolic jasmine..I just got this one, so I am in the 'get to know her' phase as this was a blind buy.

Erica.Cass

Pretty! Soft sweet summer citrus with a little fruit and floral

Tobackko

I like it, it's fresh, floral, sweet and wearable BUT... It faintly reminds me of cats and smelling like a cat, can't shake this feeling so weird!

the wicked

mild… skin scent… not long lasting… maybe it will lasts when in a hot weather

RDixon

I meant to order Shaghaf Oud, but accidentally ordered this one. I'm glad I did! Such a smooth, citrusy, fruity scent. Perfect for spring or summer. Yes it's generic, but the price can't be beat. I can't stop smelling myself.

melanie mother or foxes

This smells really fresh and citrus for all of 5mins then. . . Nothing. Absolutely not a thing. Very disappointed as I love swiss arabian other frags. 😭🤬

Labyrinth22

This smells like a mix between gasoline and pine-Sol on me. Oh no. 😭

semj

Smacked in the olfactory face with a schreechy green apple sour candy note. Smells at first like a bad bad bad chemical white flower perfume. Settles quickly on skin (disaster om clothing) with a musky skin scent with a sweet cedar vibe.
This is quite nice but lasts all of 10 min....
Would be ok with a deeper base to penetrate the skin.
Gives me no feeling whatsoever except maybe playning with my Barbie in the bath as a kid.
Yes, there is that plastic doll smell somewhere in there.

comradefraghead

This is for gourmand lovers who want to dabble in a “freshy”. This is different from my entire collection. I love it. It’s warm and gorgeous. Not overpowering at all.

duaa abed

not bad but not special either i will never wear it put it on the bathroom 😂 . smell like unsented men soap 🚶♀️

cmifsud2612

Love it!

SingleWomansPot

I got this as a three frag deal and it was a disappointment. It really doesn't project or have longevity at all. It's more like a body spray so go hog wild when applying. It might be improved by layering it with a body lotion that compliments a note in the frag.

I'm going to try layering it with single note frag to see it improves it's longevity and silage.

CygneNoire

This is a light, softly sweet, and citrus perfume that smells "bubbly". It's very uplifting bright, and perfect for spring and summer. If you found Shaghaf Oud too heavy or if you reserve it for colder seasons, get this!

Soraya

Crisp, light, slightly sweet and juicy fragrance. Lovely for summer work-from-home situations as it's not heavy or cloying. I do not choke myself or co-worker (husband with sensitive nose!) out even in 30+ degree C temperatures. I enjoy this one, and it's great value for money.

KylieBooFace

Something goes very wrong with this and my skin chemistry. Taking a pass.

Sebaht

This is a pleasant, but nothing special here. Wears close to the skin. Not long lasting.

876Beauty

Smells nothing like Shagaf Oud which is great for me,citrusy, crisp apples, fresh, floral and a bit sweet...Not typically a fan of citrusy fragrances but this is a must buy for me!! LOVE!!

hfigures

This was a blind buy. The notes lead me to believe this would be more citrus than floral and to my nose it is. The praline gives it just enough sweetness without dominating the other notes. This will be my summer go to fragrance if I ever make it to the beach. It will stand out among the typical tropical coconut fragrances.

fnoo717

it is mediocore fregarance you cannot be med about it
it is regular summer fregrance very lemony at the start then turn very flowery and a bit sweet with smoothness and creaminess.
crowd pleasing.
nice for the price as an everyday perfume or signture scent.

Jacquis

Shaghaf woman is a light, sweet summer perfume. This is like the summer version of Jessica Simpson's Fancy with a green apple touch. Perfectly inoffensive and mass appealing. There is no bothersome patchouli, and no perceptible oud on this 78F warm day in humid Florida. Just a fun, sexy, playful and sweet fruity floral perfume that can be easily worn. Longevity and projection are average. Casablanca lite.

Miliana74

I just love this fragrance very alluring and seductive was a blind buy but I am so happy with this wonderful perfume .

Asiya

Totally disappointed :(
Lemon, oud and some praline - ordinary boring perfume

Carlitos

This is a very alluring fragrance.
It has the vibe of Oud Bouquet; That is somewhat strange as the listed notes are not similar.
It's very feminine and will certainly please all the Fragrantica female contributors.
