One of the best super clean and fresh aldehydic niche scents!! Recently purchased my third bottle however due to a major declutter of my many fresh scents I’m parting with my full 30ml bottle for a very reasonable price. Shipping preferably within the EU. :-)

pynchbookclub

I really dislike this scent. It smells like old-lady soap to me. It honestly gives me sterile nursing home and hospital vibes. The thing is, it isn't particularly offensive but who the hell wants to smell like that. I don't like it!!

Orbco97

OMG…. LOVE!
I was scared it will lean like Blanche which sometimes reminds me of bathroom spray or warm cotton which to me smells like cleaning products as it is too sharp.

This is the perfect mix soap bubbles/lotion/laundry scent with a touch of powdery sweetness. It’s a mix of everything. Just smells phenomenal.

Imagine Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo with almond milk, it’s the best way I can describe what I smell.

livelovelaugh0810

i wanted to love this but the aldehyde in this is so sharp I find myself getting a headache every single time I wear it.
it's just my personal experience with it, but I don't get soap, no detergent. just very sharp aldehydes.
if you're not into aldehydes, I don't think this is for you.

SaraMiriam8

This one might sound weird- my fellow Portuguese followers will get it -, but the opening smelled just like those Dr. Bayard cough drops which I love.
Don't get me wrong, this doesn't smell medicinal at all, by the contrair, then it dries down to a very clean, airy, dryer sheet type of scent. I like it!

Vile laundry soap

Savon de Marseille! When I spent a summer in south of France, I was obsessed about the scent of the Marseille soap. I bought everything what was available with the aroma of it: dishwashing liquid, shower gel, and the soap itself in dozens of bars. It was the only thing that I wanted to smell in the heat on my skin that was salty from the sea. I'm truly grateful for finding this perfume, it brings back the complex scent profile of the Marseille soap with a hint of salty breeze and the warm skin. It's not my signature scent, but when I want to smell this, nothing else is an alternative.

figgypudding

I didn't really understand what aldehydes smelled like until this fragrance. It is a bright, clean laundry smell. True to the description, just not my cup of tea.

melimelo87

This is bomb💖! Dove vibes all the way.
If you enjoy soapy, aldehydic scents, a modern aldehydic don't worry, then this is your jam.
Very good longevity and moderate sillage. It smells like fresh powdery bubbles. Good for office, signature scent perfect also. FBW for me, as I enjoy clean soapy scents. Worth a try!

mwelle

It reminds me of Sebamed children line products; clean, powdery and little lactonic scent. I love to wear it especially after shower to give myself extra clean/fresh touch. Good longevity, moderate sillage. While the current market is saturated with gourmands, it is refreshing to see something completely opposite genre. Not a blind-buy safe, especially if you are not into aldehydes.

Fragranooga

Oh I LOVE this. It's definitely pure soap, but not in an overly floral "fragranced soap" kind of way and not in too sharp and zingy of a laundry detergent kind of way. It's really just like the lather of a bar of dove soap but so much nicer than that sounds. SO fresh and clean smelling.

adice

For me this is one of a few goldilocks, or "just right", bubbly soapy fresh powdery laundry scents (at least for the moment). I may even finish my 30 ml bottle by the end of the summer. It's very soapy/laundry/aldihidic but also the perfect amount floral fresh and powdery without having an overwhelmingly harsh dryer sheet aspect. Nor any other notes (Linden, magnolia, etc) that sometimes put me off what I call "industrial clean" scents.

I put it in the same wear "genre" as some of my other favorite "industrial clean" scents which I usually wear casually for daytime such as SL Dent de lait or SL L'eau, MH Lumiere Doree (harshest dryer sheet), and NR Essence eau de musc. I might even lump things like PR Pillowtalk Poet or Dame Mate, Heliotrope & Patchouli into this grouping though they're not as soapy as the others since I'd wear any of these for the same mood/occasion.

Charmedbymeghan

This is so nice! It's soapy but lactonic. Clean and fresh and musky at the same time. This fragrance is a perfect combination of:
Etat Libre D'Orange The Ghost In The Shell
➕️
Zara Friday Freaking Gorgeous

Wow so lovely. I already own both of those fragrances so not sure I also need to buy full-size of this one. But I probably will lol

If you are a true lactonic fragrance lover - definitely recommend getting your nose on this if you haven't!

Ladym00nlight

Instant journey backward in time. My grandmother's soap. My grandmother who used to live in the country, did a lot of gardening, but liked to keep very clean, using the cheapest plain soap available. While the recollection itself is very nostalgic and undeniably pleasant, who would like to smell like this, I wonder.

Teo Cabanel Discovery Kit

4/14 Et Voila | It's a bar of white soap. I can't share anything that another reviewer hasn't shared already.

I agree — it has a powdery, dry effect I guess from the heliotrope which echoes what someone else said "Dove soap without the creamy aspect". It's what I imagine Replica's Bubble Bath should have smelled like. Perfectly fine and clean, but not a scent I'd express myself with.

OTA Mom

A good soap fragrance that doesn't rely on lavender as many do. Mostly aldehydes and musk with the tiniest floral aspect.

meganlamode

A very clean, soapy scent. It might not be anything groundbreaking, but I quite enjoy it. As opposed to something like Maison Margiela's Lazy Sunday Morning (which, to me, has too many conflicting notes and headache-inducing aldehydes), Et Voila actually smells like you've just showered with high-end floral shampoo and shower gel. Plus, the aldehydes here feel more modern and not so sharp. It's simple, but it's pleasant, and could be worn year-round.

Petula009

I am a fan od clean fragrances. They calm me down. Something about them, it just puts me into a sleepy, cozy mood. This certainly smells like a bath with soapy bubbles and flower petals in it. Very basic, very linear, projection is very intimate.
Vibes: modern aldehydes done right
Form: 2ml sample

Vesperexa

I'm sorry but I can't stand this. It smells like really harsh soap. Like Dove soap but without the creamy aspect, just the harshness. I'm not a huge fan of clean, soapy scents in general, but there are some I appreciate, such as Diptyque Orpheon or Ellis Brooklyn Myth. Not this.

nightflights

Dove bar soap is that you?

Ok guys, I blind bought this too, wore for the first time yesterday and I can see how it is polarizing. I have not torn open the cellophane on the full bottle, but used the free sample (one of several generously included by Teo Cabanel) to test it out. Upon receipt I first sprayed it on paper and kept smelling it with my nose pressed nearly against the paper. This was my mistake. All I was getting was what I thought was citrusy cleaning detergent/laundry vibes. I came back to check the notes - no citrus. I thought it must be the neroli I'm picking up. I smelled none of the other notes listed & was initially disappointed.

So the next morning, after my shower I sprayed it on my skin - just one spray. This is how you need to test it. The way to smell this scent is on clean skin, wait for the dry down (the best part), and just smell it in the air around you - don't put your nose to it. You get all the notes blended together with your skin in a lovely, clean way that - yes, it kinda smells like you walked out of a laundromat, or just took your clothes out of the dryer - but in a magical way. I don't know how to explain it but when it dries down and you only use a couple strategic sprays, it is beautiful with the rose & white florals, clean thanks to the musks & aldehydes, but cozy with the heliotrope and touch of sandalwood.

This is for people who already like fragrances like Byredo Blanche, or Replica Lazy Sunday Morning. If you like these types of scents I also highly recommend J-Scent's Paper Soap. Et Voilà is unique in it's own way & I'm glad I bought a full bottle. Clean & cozy is a scent profile I'm always seeking and this suits it perfectly. Just avoid wearing it if you have a bad headache due to the aldehydes. Otherwise, I suggest giving it a try if you like these types of scents.

amberbyanyothername

I have spent years looking for perfect clean fragrances. I love them all - the more a perfume is going to make me smell like a fresh pile of laundry, the more I'm interested in giving it a sniff.

This perfume is another clean laundry classic, but it's different to my usual suspects (I'm thinking La Blanche by Byredo, Lazy Sunday Morning by Maison Margiela, etc). I suspect it's the florals; the white flowers in particular, but you definitely sense a rose note in there.

This is the kind of clean note which, if I smelt it on someone in public, I would really take notice, but would assume is just their laundry powder. This is the type of smell I'd be left thinking about and wondering why I didn't ask what it was. Really tempted to get a full bottle of this.

itsmellslikerain

Blind bought a full sized bottle after reading all of the reviews here, and there are no regrets. This is such a delicate and soothing scent. It is a “clean”scent, but I’d categorize it as more elegant than laundry detergent and bar of soap. Projection is great. I’d wear this year long.

chb

This smell like unscented gel handsoap to me. It’s not unpleasent, just really not what I go for. You will smell clean for sure with this scent. On top of that I get a lot of musk. Skin scent type of fragrance.

chyan

At first I thought cleaning products, then I saw someone else saying club soda (mineralic) which I can totally get behind. Not a bad smell. Just not something I personally want to wear.

Klemens

Everyone saying this smells like soap. No one gets anything reminiscent of skin? Like yeah it's clean and soapy, but to me this is kind of seductive... And by "kind of" I meant give it to my gf and hope she wears it on dates kind of seductive.

deflatedpillow

Straight up generic white soap bar, absolutely spot on

pweedyadel

Very nice, clean and comforting. Don’t know about you but I get a tiny bit “shampooy” vibes on my skin. This is beautiful. I love it 🥰.

Anabanana08

Very pleasant aldehyde fragrance. A "clean" scent.
Indeed a very realistic soapy laundry detergent and fabric conditioner, but at the same same I think it is very wearable and great for day time.

jaelyss

Walking into a laundromat where the dryers and machines are running and the air is filled with this scent. This one is strong and does project. It took me back to when I was a kid and went with my mother to the local laundromat. There is some nostalgia but I don't want to smell like this for more than 10 mins. Super soapy laundry and dryer sheets smell. Not for me.

Agnes81

The most soapy scent I have ever smelled. This reminds me of soap bars from my childhood. Too much for my nose and taste - I actually find it a little nauseating. But if you a looking for this type of soapy-clean scent it is definitely worth trying.

aminakindblad

I tried this on my skin two times now and at first I get a very realistic fresh laundry scent and then it fades after 2-3 hours to what I can only describe as the classic ambroxan scent. The dry down on me is very closely matched to my Le Labo Another 13 sample. I havent seen any ambroxan or ambrette listed? If Demeter Laundromat and Another 13 had a love child its probably this.

ash.nguyen6

Smells like realistic clean, fresh laundry, or a bar of soap.

InherentHobby

On my skin it starts out smelling like sweet liquorice, over time it becomes more laundry like as others describe it. Sadly it looses a lot of intensity rather quickly. Could see this being used in the office for spring. Would most likely not buy this.

likesleet

smells like clean sheets & fresh, soothing laundry

Suavis

I smell chamomille in the opening, then a mixture of delicate flowers, some sandalwood...hmm this is nice. There's a note in the background I can't detect... a little soapy-laundry-chemical.
Girly, shy, sweet, tender, pink ruffles, clean clothes, white t-shirt.
I like it but I wouldn't get a full bottle.

misspotocky

I love laundry detergent soapy perfume and this is it! This is by far one of the best clean smelling fragrances I have ever worn. It doesn't bother me in any way as some of others fragrance in this genre usually do. I feel sexy, clean and basically I smell like an expensive laundry all day. Longevity is excellent. I've just purchased 30 ml bottle and cannot wait when it arrives

DiscoPolga

I've never smelled a more realistic fresh laundry smell. Reminds me of a laundromat I used to do my laundry at when I lived in Paris. Et Voila has a solid projection and it stays on forever. Not sure how I feel about smelling like laundry detergent all day everyday, but it definitely has some charm.

zhetheru

This is what I imagine club soda would smell like if it had a smell. The aldehydes at the top make this a sparkly fragrance, and it smells desirably clean. It isn't a fragrance that you grab when you want to wow everyone, it is a fragrance that you grab for when you want to smell fresh and leave a clean trail. It does not smell soapy to me, but it smells musky, aldehydic, and slightly powdery. I was unsure about this fragrance at first because it smells so basic, but I can't stop smelling it- it is addictive. I will definitely get a full-size bottle.

A Fragrant Life

This is astringent soap as a perfume, but I can’t get enough of my little sample. This is the scent of a crisp, white shirt and would be perfect on a sunny spring day.

Ding950524

This is exactly a big bar of safeguard soap

evarosa

A true soap fragrance. Just like a bar of nice sandalwood soap at a hotel. Very refreshing. Dries down somewhat masculine.

antheavl

Smells like hotel guest soaps. Not unpleasant, but not what I want to smell like.

lmwimsatt

While lazy Sunday morning is a rich expensive French smelling soap, this is cheap public restroom soap.

penguinrabbit

Smells like bubble bath and laundry detergent, the floral is like scented detergent rather tham being very floral. Very clean and fresh. I like the smell but not sure about it as a perfume keep changing my mind about whether I like it as a perfume or not. If you like clean and soapy scents this is a good one. Lasts a long time and projects mildly.

lullemans72

I got this fragrance shipped to me from France a few months back when I saw the review video by (I think) Fragmental and Justin Copland on Youtube. I normally don't care at all about the packaing, but this time I was pretty impressed at how much attention to detail there was for the packaging when it arrived. Nice materials all around, with small testers included in the packaging too. Felt and looked really high end.

Now to the fragrance itself: it's very clean and bubble bathy/soapy. Doesn't project like a beast, but enough that you can pick up on the smell yoursel, and hopefully others around you too. I haven't worn it a lot recently, but I do think the longevity was above 6-7 hours last time I did. The thing about this fragrance is that people are likely to smell you, but maybe not compliment you since the scent just smells clean and understated.

If you want a compliment monster, this is not it. But if you want to smell fresh, light and clean, this is a good scent.
The only thing I don't like is the bottles come in 30ml and 100ml only. I wouldn't mind if they made the packaging less fancy and offered a 50ml bottle instead of 30ml for the price.

LenaM

Soapy!
Very refreshing. Like shampoo, very clean and rather floral.

kigyo

This and Oh La La are my favorites from the line. Reminds me also of Versace Dreamer, but much more refined and better.

ambervdk

Smells very clean. I would love my laundry smelling like this. As a perfume.. Not sure About that.

MrAbbas

Innocent is the word that comes to my mind when I smelled this. This is such a clean, pretty and innocent fragrance. Like a fresh laundry with a luxury fabric softener for babies. Works very well in warm weather and it evokes a feeling in me like being in a very caring cuddle and feeling super clean. Performance is fine and not a beast. I really love it, simple and well done. My favorite from the whole line.

MaquiLab

The epitome of a "clean" scent. Bubbles and sunshine. I loved this scent right from the first spritz but couldn't bring myself to purchase it. Something in it makes me want to sniff it all the time and at a certain point it becomes a bit nauseating. I'd love to be hugged briefly by someone smelling like that but don't like it to be on me the whole day...

taylor_1499

The exact smell of drier sheets. I'd imagine that a hug from someone wearing this would replicate the experience of pulling fresh, warm laundry from the drier. Not my style of perfume so not fbw for me, but it would be a win for those who like clean linen scents.

JoeMacchiato

An old-fashioned sandalwood soap

Celestya

Smells so clean and soapy. 100% unisex, the longevity and sillage are excellent. I like a lot for the open space. Very versatile, you can wear it during all seasons and for all ages (kids, adults, etc).
