From the bottle it smelled gorgeous. Though when I sprayed it, it opened with a harsh and synthetic iris note, which you need to resist for 40 minutes, if you do not like iris. After 2 hours, it turns into a sweet powdery scent - with each passing hour, it becames more powdery. Has a nice projection and stayed in my wrist for 12 hours

princesita

This is the most sophisticated, elegant, classy, clean, clear, powdery, feminine-grown up dignified women, all occasions, all seasons, unique, compliment getter of a perfume. I really don't get any sharpness or harshness, no baby powder or wipes whatsoever, neither masculinity.

Atomizer is superb, the only thing I resent is this downright ugly, impractical and cheap box, especially for the price and brand.

Don't know if this is getting discontinued? It would be such a shame. I stocked up though.

Tiffany & Co Intense smells like money to me. Not like literal money obviously, but it smells like wealth. I picture nice clothes, diamonds and expensive handbags when I smell it. Usually I find fragrances like this to have a vintage vibe, but that's not the case here. It smells "clear". If crystal glass had a scent, I imagine it to smell like this (I have also tried a few other fragrances with the same crystal clear vibe). It has a slightly sweet and creamy base that keeps the more clean top notes from smelling sharp. I can't really explain what I'm smelling, because it's very well blended, but it makes me think of a black tie event. I don't have a lot of occasions to wear it, so I'm glad I only bought the 30 ml bottle, but when I do wear it I really like the way it makes me feel. The bottle is absolutely gorgeous! 8/10.

Ilovetosmellgreat

The carrot note in the background gives it a bit of a body odour scent, otherwise it's a nice sweet, musky, soapy fragrance. Based on a sample.

Tagimaucia

Beautiful scent for work. Do not overspray. Powdery sweetness.
Wait till the juice darkens from the vanilla...❤️

pua_indulgence

first powdery scent i tried on and it definitely smells feminine (i'm male, 30's). layering this on some of my woodier scents though, that's where it's at. a combo of this and les elixirs oud or issey miyake noir amber is undefeated.

vixen1995

FYI: This perfume is naturally supposed to darken over time, As almost all fragrances with Vanilla do. You'd think most perfume enthusiasts would be aware of that. Anyway, This scent is absolutely beautiful, Love it. It's got that lipstick smell in the opening, And transforms to a more sweet, Powdery drydown. Perfect!

Moonami

Another Iris gem!! Beautifully done. Classy and luxurious elegant lady who is very feminine yet strong inside. Suitable for ladies in Management level jobs but still very gentle and feminine.

Suitable also for date nights when you go to expensive restaurants.

This perfume is elegance in and out!!

jbaby283

It's a classy, easy-reach jasmine that doesn't smell indolic. It has a soft spiciness that tickles your nose a bit, which is nice. Nothing much to say, it smells good but very safe. I can smell the powdery, sweet iris as well. It smells kinda like scented paper. I like it though. Boss lady vibe but also suitable for date nights. 10/10 on the versatility scale, 3/10 on uniqueness. It lasts all day with moderate-strong projection.

saho93

Starts off sharp, kinda feels like yellow floral. But it transitions rather quickly to powdery Iris with vanilla and pepper in the background. At this stage it’s softer.

Update 03/27/2024: I think if I layer this with Zara’s Romance d’Iris, which is a very powdery iris, it will smooth the edginess of Tiffany Intense.

I have warm feelings towards this scent because I’d been approached by a sales rep in Hudson’s Bay and given the sample in the way they used to do when they actually wanted you to try (and buy) the perfume; nowadays they smack your hand away from the tester bottles saying “let me do that” and roll their eyes if you ask for samples. Or maybe they only do that to rundown, broke-looking people like me, lol.
The scent itself is very strong, headache-inducing if oversprayed. In small doses it’s nice; the iris feels like a throwback to classic iris scents, the musk has a harsh lavender-like detergent quality but the benzoin and cashmeran are sweet and soft. There’s a bright sharp top note that feels like orange or lemon and it comes and goes like blinking fairy lights. I guess the sales reps judge me correctly because I can’t/wouldn’t buy this, but I like it and I feel like I’m sticking my tongue out at snooty people when I wear it.

kahbsa99

I bought this perfuke based on what i smelled on macys, it was celestial! Perfect perfume in all ways. Feminine, jovial, elegant, clean, versatile, not too sweet, fresh.. I loved it on the first spray. It was the one for me. But I bought it twice from different places amd they both came from the box and the liquid was dark and smelling too sweet... Idk what happened

qianqian

Love the iris! Waiting for the drydown to show up.

stillalive

This one smells like your standard perfume to me. It does evolve a bit over time—it starts with a pretty harsh green note and fades down over time to a kind of generic expensive perfume smell. It's nice, but it gives me a bit of a headache and doesn't stand out in any way. I think it would be a safe enough blind buy if you like scents like La Vie Est Belle, Mon Guerlain, or Coco Mademoiselle.

mikaaaa

a really pleasant scent. This was the second fragrance in my collection and I think I have no regrets. on me, when first sprayed, I really get the pear and even some greenness. then,in around half an hour the greenness fades away and I'm left with this nice powdery vanilla, musk and some iris. I like how this fragrance evolves during wear, and I think it's somewhat unique and reasonably priced. Allegedly, they're thinking of discontinuing this, so I've got to stock op on the 90ml. (I currently own the 30).

Projection 6.5/10
sillage 7.5/10

I noticed a few months ago that this version had disappeared from the official Tiffany website. Get it while you still can, because this followed exactly the pattern of modern mainstream pillars: the second fragrance (more often than not called 'intense') is almost always the fragrance first envisioned by the perfumer(s) from the brief. Think: Chanel Gabrielle Essence, Sì Intense (2014), Lancôme Idôle L'intense.

Whether Tiffany Intense had been phased out due to low sales or material scarcity—it contains much more iris than the focus group-geared original—it remains one of my favorite iris. At first biting and indifferent like a shrug of the ice queen's shoulder, then warmed up to an exquisite allure of waxy lipstick sheen and animal fur. Tiffany did themself a huge disservice by not letting Andrier go ham with her favorite color of the palette and releasing this as a pillar. I'm sad to see the brand's lineup now: a collection of wan, sexless perfumes for those who dislike perfumes or to whom fragrances are rather a social obligation.

tmonique11

@Veronjn111 any vanilla fragrance will turn a darker golden hue over time as it macerates. The fragrance will also develop a deeper richer vanilla scent experience. This is usually a good thing imo!

Ladysax

I had a sample of this perfume. And it smells so good on me and very long lasting! So I think it’s full bottle worthy!! It’s a very powdery and musky fragrance!

Dan

In response to the question below by Veronjn111, I think old batches turn yellow as they get older whereas the newer batches will be clear. It's most probably to do with the vanilla used or something else in the ingredients which causes the colour to change over time.

I remember the same thing happened with another perfume named Lolita Lempicka L. The liquid was originally a turquoise/blue colour but eventually turned brown and it was most likely caused by vanilla. So I'm certain the same thing has happened here. Although this normally shouldn't affect the fragrance in any way.

Veronjn111

I can't find the answer anywhere, but why do some bottles of this fragrance have a darker yellowish hue liquid, while others are clear? Are the batches just unpredictable? I've never seen such a variance of liquid color between one scent. It's odd...

Manjusaka

tilapia_johnson

I liked this a lot, but did find it stranger and drier than the original. Opening is fruity pear with the soft-spicy inclusion of pink pepper and sharp petitgrain. There is a floral center, but it is mostly powdery-fresh iris into powdery musk, benzoin, and cashmeran. Carrot is related to the iris, and vanilla is tied to the cashmeran, so the overall effect is that of a tart-fruity-iris-powder. There is something a bit dusty about it, but it's appealing and sophisticated, less overtly-youthful than the original is.

Britt24

Very elegant & classy scent! The opening I smell the powder & musk with the dry is a clean floral. The downside to this scent is it can smell a bit mature and I also would not suggest this scent if you don't like a strong powder scent but I love it. I smell like a wealthy clean women!

raesmells

This should be right up my alley by reading the notes. Its a strange one. Baby wipes for sure, then the dry down is a but too mature for me, and I am no spring chicken. Pass.

lauraimelda

If you like the realistic powder note, you will love this one. This is more powdery than Oud Satin Mood. I smell mostly powder with the musk, benzoin and a clean opulent sharpness in the opening. The dry down, I smell the clean vanilla, powdery musk. To me, it smells like I imagine the color blue stone with baby powder would smell like. I could wear this perfume on a cold winter day or a rainy day with an outfit and my suede, tall high heel boots with my long black winter coat and gold earrings to work. It is a bit masculine (musk, benzoin, amber), yet has ladylike qualities (vanilla, pink pepper, jasmine). It is not a casual everyday perfume. It is the perfume you wear as a wedding guest, to a business meeting, to work, a date with a rich man or on a date you want to scare away because you are too expensive, a birthday party, dance, clubbing. It exudes confidence, elegance, feminine empowerment. When I smell this from the spray on a hot day, it smells like what the elegant, rich old lady from the movie Great Expectations would smell like.

perfumesniffer

this reminds me a ton of Living Lalique. also shalimar parfum initial. I’ll come back later with an actual review but so far not my thing. this is predominantly a textured unisex vetiver (scratchy). if you don’t like florals or sweet scents and prefer unisex orientals this might be good to try.

so I’ve worn this twice now. it’s ultimately not my thing at all. as I noted above this is truly similar to Guerlain Parfum L’Initial and Living by Lalique. it’s a neutral/not-sweet vetiver-iris fragrance that becomes somewhat powdery. it is elegant, classic and sophisticated but in a professional manner, not in a sexy or warm/fun way. I find predominately iris-vetiver scents like this to be very serious/dull and not whimsical or fun. BUT it just may be the perfect office-professional type fragrance for some people though. I can totally see that. I need whimsy and either more sweetness or more floralcy or more spice. this to me is off white walls.

umayy

it smells to me like everest incense but more mild. i have a decant of it but i wouldn't buy the full size cause i think it is not worth to price

Bloomsbury Barton

Very classy perfume! Modern, clean, powdery scent (the pink pepper stood out initially to me along with Iris). After 4 hrs, I get a beautiful soft vanilla. it is office friendly and also great for intimate evenings out.
An elegant all-rounder, I would wear this during all seasons. Not a teenage fragrance at all. I envisage it being perfect for a professional young or older person. Stunning bottle. Great for gifting to a special person in your life.

Jezebelle

I'll be frank :
Opening : rich bitch
Dry down : old money baby bottom

nique_nax

My sister has it. Very a unique and classy smell. Luxurious as though you are waiting for your driver in a 5-star hotel's lobby.

t0ocozy

This has been my go to fragrance for a while now. Such a pretty and elegant scent.

marinaalex0510

Powdery and musky, not sweet noble scent. I think it is the best perfume I've ever owned

est2316

It’s a beautiful scent appropriate for work/office situations. I’ll say the iris is very prominent and it becomes more musky in the dry down. Definitely a powdery fruity smell… currently selling my 35/50ml bottle. Please Dm me

wednesdaygirl

At first it was a bit fruitier than I expected, but once it set in it got more powdery notes. Very sweet smell-- the upper-middle class girl next door in teen movies of perfumes. She's nice, she's sweet, good grades, loves her parents and Jesus, just completely normal. It's a bit sweet and boring for me, but the nerd definitely has a crush on her.

rezlem

Very office appropriate, for me is a very powdery - but not dated - fragrance. Must enjoy iris.

cynthiad623

Nice Spring Fragrance!

DamajikaProject

i feel more fruity ingredients than powdery one. pears? cassis? peach?
good smooth basenote

melxx2133

I thought i was going to love this based on the reviews and the notes, but there’s a note in this thats kinda bothering me. Maybe the benzoin? I think this just a little too sweet . If you like the idea of a sweet rosy iris, thats not too cloying go for Narciso Rouge .

nbazza

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! I tried this perfume a few times and after spraying it on my jacket it lasted ALL DAY. It smells powdery, fresh and sweet. It also smells sophisticated but sexy at once. It's a multidimensional fragrance. It actually reminds me of baby powder, but in the best way. Baby powder isn't a bad thing... as I remember I had a hair product and was complimented in high school by a guy that said it smelled like baby powder and he loves the smell of baby powder. Ahahha. Trust me on this it's a beautiful fragrance. Powdery, fresh, sweet, slightly, aquatic, has depth. Perfect for all occasions and perfect for work too. The best in my opinion of all the Tiffany fragrances (second fave is rose gold, but this one knocks all out of the park for me). Incredible masterpiece and great for gifting. It's very unique to the rest of my collection which is mostly gourmand. While this has sweetness it's also very fresh. Gorgeous masterpiece. Boyfriend loves it too.

robertandsheilaburke

The iris is nice in this perfume.

toloneneija

Well blended combination of iris, musc, cashmeran and benzoin. It' soft, sophisticated and womanly.
It's so beautiful and classy, i love it so much!

It lasts ~ 6h on my skin (i spray heavy), it doesn't project far.

Very nice scent all year round for every occasion.

emilymonroe1

I really love this one. The original is better to my taste, but the intense is also great.

christinebyh

I've tried the original and all the flankers, and the intense is by far the best. It's the most beautiful soft, deep feminine fragrance, with a surprisingly long linear projection. It stayed on my strip for over a week, and I couldn't stop smelling it. It's primarily cashmeran, vanilla, and iris, and even though there isn't any unique note in the formula, the blend is quite unique. It's feminine but not girly, mature but not old, soft yet projecting. Even musk haters will probably enjoy this interpretation. It's quite a masterpiece, and I can see myself wearing it everyday.

EDIT 2024 : I hate this now. It turns dirty on my skin.

perfumehuntern19

This perfume is absolutely unique and luxurious. I tried it for the first time ever in February and it has been stuck in my mind ever since. I didn't want to get it because I find it to be very expensive, especially for the longevity. So I've been looking everywhere for a cheaper dupe. Needless to say, I couldn't find any so I ended up buying it on sale. It opens with a zesty lemon scent but the dry down is different depending on where you spray it. I find that when you spray it on paper, the zesty note is present all the way with the flowers and base notes in the background. However, when I spray it on my skin, the zesty note completely disappears and I mostly get a musky floral amber scent. It's absolutely beautiful. When my sister sprayed it on herself, it dried down to a mainly floral then musky scent. Another friend tried it as well but for him it was zesty/peppery and musky. I don't know what causes this perfume to react this differently on skin. I know that perfumes are supposed to do that but this one is a bit extreme I'd say. Not complaining though because now I truly have a unique signature scent.

Veronika95

This is the most perfumey perfume I have ever smelled. It smells like Sephora when you first enter. I don't usually go for fresh and powder and floral perfumes but I'm in the summer mood and this knocked my socks off with the opening notes. Yummy yum yum. It's not a gourmand scent but it still makes my mouth watering. And it's strong, I love that! Wauza...it smells and looks like luxury. This deserves a full glam outfit- long shiny tight dress with sparkly earrings and sleek long hair. But im still going to wear it on every day basis for a few days now no matter what i'm wearing because I want to smell it for some time. Also I 💯 agree with person below, about the Tiffany sprayers. I've owned over 100 perfumes if not even more, and this brand makes the absolute best sprays! It's nice continuous mist, so on one spray, you can cover your forearm very nicely. The exact opposite is DKNY delicious line, which squirts like a toy gun.
I don't know how long lasting it is yet, but I'd rate the smell 10/10 and the initial strength is probably 7/10 - it's very present but not too much

Edit two months later: probably the best perfume I've ever had. And I don't understand why! It's not my style, at all, but I crave it and love it and can't get enough of it. And I have a comparison that might put you off, but I don't mean it in a bad way-this smells like baby wipes! But very nice ones, Tiffany baby wipes for crazy rich people 😅 I have a baby, well a toddler now I guess, so maybe that's why this is so appealing to me. Powder and baby wipes and sweetnesses from pear. And longevity is good. Not great but still good.

clemmy

for me the three most dominant notes are in this order pear-iris-cashmeran
it is quite unique and if you really like iris note you should try it.
My mum and my sister said it reminds them baby wet wipes.
to me is classy, elegant and comforting. Safe office scent, but with a presence.
quite unique, but not safe blind buy. 3/5

magicalcat

I was really curious to try this perfume because one of my favorite perfume YouTubers Ilythia Marie described it as smelling like a "birthday cake drizzled with diamonds". That's not how I'd personally describe it, but it's still a nice perfume. To me, this scent is a powdery iris that's heavy on the pink pepper and turns into a clean musky scent. Longevity is great. This lasts for hours on my skin. It's fresh and elegant, but I get only a tiny bit of vanilla. There is a sharpness and a slightly masculine quality that could turn a lot of people off, so I would try it first. I will wear this perfume, but I don't see myself repurchasing.

The bottle is beautiful and the atomizer is awesome. Sprays a ton of juice and disperses it really nicely. I'm not sure what makes Tiffany & Co.'s atomizers different, but they have the best atomizers.

giri-boni

I could smell marijuana. And I don't specifically like it. This has a mentholated side to it... Very interesting but I pass. Not a safe blind buy.

charlotte_twister

Scary to me. Reminds me of Goodnight Mommy the movie.
And what a dumb decision of mine to test this while drinking black coffee. I smell like a literal dentist on lunch break. Oh, male dentist. One who is married and all, but you just don't trust his dentist smile.

Very antiseptic, sinus flush. Clearing my nose, at least. Analgesic rub like Aura but, different. I'm open to a Aura person. A Tiffany Intense person is a whole other colored flag. It's that pinch of a redder pepper, keeping me alert. I wouldn't like a Tiffany Intense hug, no, but I suspect this person is not a hugger to begin with.

It's the scent of a person who only wears white and is always on some zen babble, yet is clearly completely neurotic and on the ultimate verge of losing it. That I Tonya smile, from the movie? Aha. I also see Yzma from the Emperor’s New Groove, specifically the scene where she's in bed with cucumber slice eyes.

It's funny. Like in Miu Miu Miu Miu, the person who wears Intense is extremely interesting to me. What's on your grocery list? How do you cope with insomnia? I already know you go for the yellow gummy bears. And you don't even hand out dental floss for trick or treat, you just fucking say "trick". And you know they have “money” money, and you know they spend it on some crazy either futuristic gadgets or straight up medieval ball gags. They probably do self acupuncture, too.

And maybe not, of course, duh. If anything, I'll have my fun writing it down to shreds. I'll even say I like it, why not, it lifted my mood how much it entertained me.

jasmineflowers

It reminds me of Kelly Caleche (excepting the leather accord). It's fresh powdery, citrusy, spicey, elegant, though a bit masculine sometimes. Good projection and longevity even sprayed on a very dry skin. I'm not in love with it, but i really do like it.

dyrdkk

I think it has a niche quality. Great performance. Elegant smell. My only contra, it has a a little masculine vibe sometimes.

la.femme.scent

spicy, powdery florals, stuffy, and mature. Smells like spicy carnations, so reminded me of a more sophisticated CK Eternity. Absolutely gorgeous bottle!

lifnisanders

Too musky for my liking. Love the initial powdery scent by the first spray. It doesn’t last long and for that price at Sephora, can def get a better performing one. (Or maybe cause this was a gift from my ex and im just bitter lol)

karinatfragrantica

This starts so nicely with a powdery cloud, elegant and soft. But after some 10 minutes it becomes too sweet for my taste. I guess it is the vanilla which I find a tad too strong (I can tolerate vanilla in fragrances only in very small doses).

MagdalenaM07

Messy and sharp. Stick with the original!

nemichka

Very fresh and aquatic and citrusy on my skin- I sort of liked it until I realized what it reminded me of- a sort of feminine version of Aqua di Gio. Very linear fragrance. I was hoping it would develop into something softer and more powdery but it just barely did, before fading into a faint skin scent, despite me spraying two sprays upon application. Lasted about 3 hours. Decent sillage. It does give a fresh, clean, shining, elegant impression. Would be perfect for a sexy evening dress and some jewels, or jeans and a button up on a breezy spring day. But it’s a bit basic somehow. Not at all sexy or mysterious. Just pretty and fresh and clean.

SuzScents

I LOVE Iris scents! Tiffany & Co. Intense is a lightly sweet, soft, rose/white floral; clean; powdery and lightly musky number that's just my style!

It IS quite similar to my beloved Balenciaga, Paris. Though Paris is greener more powdery; registers a little deeper; and is an all-year round scent, in my opinion. They're definitely in the same vein. T&CI is great for spring, summer and early Fall. It's totally classy and non-offensive, office-wear friendly with a cool non-aquatic freshness. While the rose and white floral notes are understated, there's just enough vanilla, musk and woodsiness to lend the perfect amount of oomph!

Projection is arm's length and longevity is a good 6 hours on well moisturized skin and longer on garments. I scored a 75 ml bottle for a song. Though not a collector for the packaging, I was delighted with the heavy glass bottle in a pretty, light aquamarine color.

Tiffany & Co. Intense will take its place right beside Balenciaga's Paris, in the Iris-centric portion of my growing collection.

CurrencyThat

Starts off springtime fresh with a subtle dose of sweet. I was hoping to like it but after a few wears, I do not. I also don’t strongly dislike it to be fair. At its core it veers into iris (and reminds me of many iris scents like Balenciaga Paris, etc) then it settles into clean and woody with iris still very detectable throughout (too much for my taste). It doesn’t have great sillage but has moderate lasting power, which matters more for me. If it were my cup of tea, I'd wear it during springtime but also autumn and winter. Unfortunately for me, it just didn’t leave much of an impression to be full-bottle worthy.

adice

Musky, powdery, sweet, and cozy yet air-y. Sort of generic or familiar smelling but also really pleasant and wearable. It's that "good girl" or "hug from mom" style musk that just isn't my thing. (Like SJP Lovely, SL Clair de Musc, Clean Radient Nectar, or Penhaligons Artemisia, etc.) I do really like the combination of sweet notes in this one though which helps me like it more overall than those other similar ones but I'll just use up my sample and that will be enough for me.

GabbieSmithWindley

The opening is kind of a mess (but tolerable, to me). But the dry-down is quite lovely, and I think it's a great fragrance for those late Summer days that in which the air kind of teases you with a bit of temperature mercy, but it's still hot AF. Interesting that there's so much focus on the iris (it's there, just not THERE) when this is no doubt a pear fragrance. It's a sparkly, powdery pear that gives off a roll-on lipgloss vibe. Y'all remember those from the late 80s/early 90s? Now all I need is my Troll Doll and I'm good to go.

ElliCoco

So. Much. Pink. Pepper. (On my skin, that is)

Ravenrage

Yes, this is not well blended. Weak and very meh, underwhelming. Not even a bit enjoyable.

Dissolved_Mind

Had high hopes, but unfortunately this perfume is not for me. The citrus opening smells like bathroom cleaning supplies, it's very sour, then once it settles, the powdery notes come through. After dry down the scent becomes heavy, messy. I can still detect the sour citruses that never fully go away and the heavy mature powder at the same time that make the whole composition very unpleasant. It feels to me that this perfume has no concept behind it, no theme, nothing- it's just a very abstract perfumey frag that will not stay in your memory and that tries to unsuccessfully combine soapy sour notes and heavy vintage powder. If those sour notes were not there it still would be pretty boring but at least it'd be more tolerable. Also, it leans masculine/unisex

Becky1992

I blind bought this on Depop on a whim after watching Ilythia Marie talk about this recently. She said it smells like diamonds on a birthday cake and that’s exactly it! It’s very classy. I think I’m going to struggle to find occasions to wear this! It smells very up market to me, like the person wearing it has a lot of money. Which I don’t. Because I spend it all on perfumes 😂

Adina-Anca

It smells like....heaven. The heaven of luxury.

meadow28

smells....perfumey. I'd expect this to be in a less attractive bottle and on a dressertop of an older relative of mine that oversprays and can't identify any notes in her perfume collection. It's just perfumey.

Cathped

In the opening its citrussy and clean soapy and pretty likable, fresh and bubbly. After a while it turnes more masculine and I get a clear smell of pine, a smell that was more popular in the 70's. It pleasant but a bit too heavy.

Skinterpreter

I have wanted to try this for a long time. When I finally got my hands on it today, I didn't expect it to smell like that.
For some reason I expected more powderiness&creaminess, while what I'm getting is a very fresh scent - but hey, a beautiful one. :)
My nose can detect some iris, some musk and something green&woody in this, to the point it slightly reminds me of Prada Infusion d'Iris, though this one is a bit sweeter (I can also smell something rather fruity in this).
There is also this component reminding me of fresh laundry, of something clean or even childhood-like. It could be the iris&musk combination. It's a nice, inoffensive scent in my opinion. The bottle is so pretty and fits the character of the scent very well.

aqua76239

I have the travel size of original and I like it but i seen number of fragrance vloggers rave about Intense version so i decided to blind buy because I haven't seen it in local stores. Original is cool musk and patchouli floral that in a way resembles Romance by RL so i was sort of expecting more of the same, just stronger. However, intense version is very different to my nose. Its slightly powdery, warm, and much sweeter. The powder note I am guessing is courtesy of Iris but I really like it. Jasmine and vanilla make is smooth give it floral oriental feel. You can very slightly detect original DNA but its very faint. To me, this could almost be a stand alone scent.
I don't find it loud scent but it does last good 4-5 hours on my skin. This is very sophisticated and elegant scent , I don't find it young and can't see teen girls wearing it. I can see this worn to nice dinner out but also i visualize boss chick rocking it during the day. It has "I got my s...t together, and have high power job" vibe.
PS i see several members mentioning that it smells familiar. I got the same feeling as soon as I smelled it. I think it kind of smells like powder or lipstick that my mom used to wear?

I adore this! I've only ever sampled it from Shoppers, but this is so beautiful and perfect for any time, day or night. It's fresh, clean, bold, yet smooth. Green, incense, floral... and powder? Possibly a very slight citrus in there too. Hard to explain it, but seems it's a little bit of everything and it works! You've got to test it for yourself. I could see this being my new signature scent, if I could afford it! The price is crazy. If anyone has a bottle they'd like to unload (I know it's not for everyone), at an affordable price (I'm on a very fixed income), message me, PLEASE! I'll figure something out. I love love love this, and all the Tiffany perfume I've tested.... 😍 but this one and the original are drop dead perfection. Intense just takes it to a whole other level. It reminds me of something I own. Going to test it out to see the comparison and if it is on point, I'll post it here. That one cost me 20$ and I don't ever wear it because I didn't like it much at the time. Perhaps my senses have changed, or the packaging of Tiffany made it more appealing lol (turquoise is my favourite colour), or maybe I just needed some time away from it to realize the beauty in that other one. If I don't come back and edit, know that I was wrong in memory. I hope I'm right though!
EDIT: Well, there is a similarity there, but it's not nearly as deep and luxurious. I've found 2 in my own collection that resemble, so I tried layering them and it's the closest I've got to Intense, on a budget. Sexūal fresh by Michel Germain and Roxy LOVE edt. There is something so similar there with these two. The LOVE is more gourmand after spraying, mixing the two seems fairly close, though much weaker and not nearly as lush as Intense. I checked the notes and there's several there that match up, but just enough that don't match, to make them different. If you can afford the Intense, treat yourself. I definitely recommend testing it first, as I'm not sure that would be a safe blind buy, though at those prices, I don't know who is "blind" buying that! 😅

Eerily familiar... but I can’t seem to put my finger on from where. Is it a candy I enjoyed in childhood? ... is it a makeup I used at one time? Don’t know but it is comforting and makes me smile every time. Smells like a precious gift upon first spray & the dry down is fabulous. Somehow I think of candied violets.
Glad I got the larger bottle!

twiztidladii

It smells too much like incense for me.

anna1987

Extremely powdery-musky Iris. Not my favorite perfume. It smells expensive but just not pleasant to my nose.
If I want a powdery-musky fragrance, I much prefer Narciso Poudree.

Zoë101

If the word “pristine” was thrown in the most exclusive body powder, it would this scent. I don’t know what they were doing w/ the OG, but THIS is the scent of Tiffany’s I envisioned. I’ll cherish it always. ❄️❄️

RATING: 9/10. ❄️❄️

I had to double-check the label on my sample, because I was sure I was getting intense grapefruit, which is not in the pyramid. Uneducated nose that I have, I looked up the mandarin leaf, and from the sound of it, I think that is the strong note I got. I got more of the powdery smell at first whiff, but then it just turned into background for mandarin leaf, which (again) smells like grapefruit to me! It's pretty, I appreciate that there are other notes in there, I just think more of them would balance this better for me. It was intense, but intense only on one note. That citrus is just preppy loud like a Lilly Pulitzer dress. I used to be a fan of Lilly, but prints shouting "PINK AND GREEN" over and over, it got old.

Review. 2 ml sample and going through my 30 ml bottle.

This scent is familiar and unique at the same time. It is difficult to visualize it at first sniff. What comes to my mind is a luxurious foundation. A smooth, light beige drop that melts on warm skin. What makes it familiar is the iris note, present in many make-up products. The uniqueness comes probably from the carrot note (carrot seeds note, I believe it is). It is powdery, clean, warm and a little bit sweet. Tiffany & Co. Intense is a very feminine and elegant, quiet scent. It quite quickly becomes a skin scent, but is very long lasting. Very versatile, although it would not work well in heat and humid weather. I believe that the whole line that includes: Tiffany and Co., Intense and Sheer flankers and body products could work great as someone’s signature scent. The bottle looks nice and the atomizer is very high quality (you can spray a little or a lot by pushing it once).

DawnNdyria

This is a beautiful floral powdery scent with a hint of sweetness to it. I first got a mini bottle to see if I would like it and I absolutely love this fragrance. I have ordered a full size bottle to add to my collection. The lasting power is so so maybe 2-3hrs on me, but I still love this scent and I have nothing like it in my collection at the moment. It's very elegant, and classy, light and not too sweet just a tad. I will wear this all year round day or night.

RubyMe

Love this perfume. Very refreshing best for summer nights. Got compliments. Lasts 12 hrs plus on skin 24hrs plus on clothes

returnatyourperil

i was in the fragrance section at a department store, and a sales associate next to me was restocking this fragrance(as in, she was putting more unopened boxes behind the tester etc). now, those boxes all gave off this delicious sillage and i fell in love. so, i tested it out and the initial spray of this is gorgeous - its like a sparkly juicy pear with iris. that fades away in some minutes and it dries down to a cashmeran and iris-lipsticky fragrance with a hint of musk, benzoin and carrot(which works well here) and just a tiny tiny hint of that pear from the top notes. i could see how this could be a disappointing scent for some but if you love those frags that have iris and are makeup-powdery, then this is so nice - its more of a fresh iris/powder, if that makes sense

even though i wish the drydown was just like the initial spray/topnotes, i still like it - its classy, elegant, luxurious
this is what i would call a wedding scent

Mel14

Powdery iris is what I get from this perfume. I was gifted this perfume by my mom and as much as I want to love it...I can't :( I don't like the powder combined with the iris in this scent...to me it smells like baby powder (no offense to baby powders). I know the brand and bottle are very elegant and well crafted but the scent is not for me at all.

The scent is too flat and it doesn't morph during the wear. The first time I sprayed it I was waiting and waiting and waiting for it to change into something nicer and it never happened. Basically what you get upon initial spray is what you'll get throughout the wear. I wouldn't mind this if the scent was appealing to me.

I LOVE the bottle and the brand... too bad I don't like the scent... I really wish I did though.

nordhaul

I agree it smells like powdery men’s cologne and
soap and I don’t like it. It just doesn’t smell *good*

poohbearwinnie

First spray, it's too strong almost like a mens cologne, hence forth the Dior Homme references. After a while maybe 1 or 2 hours, it's sexy. Kinda like your boyfriend's cologne rubbed off on you and smells rich, fresh, like luxury sheets and soap. Longevity is amazing, I sprayed this to go to bed and could smell it when I woke up 10 hours later.

Amnaa

Honestly, it smells like makeup to me. Like liquid foundation or something very similar.

I can also detect something reminiscent of ylang-ylang. In this version there's supposed to be none but I guess there's some combo going on that carries a similar scent.

clemmy

I got it because it was unique to me in the actual landscape of perfumes. It is subtle and classy, pleasant and sweet but not too much. At first there is a lot of baby wipes.. then on my skin stays (but not for too long unfortunately) as talc and pears. 3/5

Whify

I tested this today and thought it smelled familiar. After a while I realised it is just like Prada Candy L'eau but without the annoying sickly note (sweet pea?). It is a pleasant sweet, musky, powdery scent but unfortunately, just like the aforementioned Prada Candy flanker, it has limited longevity and sillage. It certainly does not deserve its price tag but I think I may purchase a small one, just to have on hand and because the bottle is so dinky and cute.

KylieBooFace

I have a decant of this. I would sniff the tester bottle because it was so good, but it was all sprayed out.

At first spray on my skin, there is a vanillic powdery goodness, but it is semi-reminiscent of a baby wipe. Thank goodness the baby wipe note fades quickly. Then, you get the heart of the fragrance featuring some resinous, sweet vanilla benzoin and some extras, similar in "vibe" (dissimilar in actual scent) to the expensive beauty Elle by Xerjoff.

Sadly, this ultimately fades to....dryer sheet on me. I know, don't hate me 😂

Me memes

The bottle is absolutely beautiful and the sprayer/mist is fantastic. I sampled this and I really want to love it, but can’t. The opening was sharp and smelled like carpet freshener. It does get better on the dry down. It’s powdery, floral, musky and slightly vanilla. After, watching all the rave YouTube reviews...I’m so glad I sampled it. Who knows maybe one day my smell will change and might come back to this.

delightme5

A little, but not as harsh on opening as the original. Veers swiftly into smooth warm vanilla butter cream territory, and tends to settle there for a while.. Beautiful, because it gleams there - softly so - and fades off there, with a toasted marshmallow like kiss. I even think of those choux type puff pastries with that caramel like icing :- but i am not talking Fancy - jessica simpson type perfume either just to be clear. This is muskier - less sugar than the likes.
Of course you have smelt this somewhere in your beginner years - some kind of sweet "musk" you'll hear calling.
No note particularly stands out to me. No pear, no blossoms and no over done cashmeran - perhaps its beautifully blended ? Take it for what it is.. sweet and quiet times. All said and done, lovely enough, and although rich, perhaps a little fleeting.
Ideally, i feel just 2 or 3 sprays (no more) just before meeting that someone special..mmm will hit the spot.

Kots_Tanya

The start smells a bit like nail polish like for about 1 min but The dry down is absolutely gorgeous and cozy, It smells like liquid diamonds if they had a smell. Very Pretty. Definitely smells like the bottle looks. Slightly reminds me of Burberry Her line. Has similar sugary vibe. Also I find great similarities to Mizensir Tres Chere.
Musk, mandarin leafs gives a little sort of citrusy tea scent, a little rose and Jasmine, sweetness from vanilla and all blended very beautifully.

Update: Few hours in and I cant smell it on my hand. Dont know if it has to do with my skin or with the perfume itself. I'll have to test it on my clothes to see of its any better. I still do love the scent and probably will add it to my collection.

PurpleNewt

I like the dry down but I'm not sure at all on the opening. It's like strong patchouli... But I see that's not listed. Any ideas what I'm getting?! Really torn on this one. Will have to wear my sample a few more days to see. It has the potential to give me a headache unfortunately.

Halo.dust

This perfume deserves a little more love. Fresh powdery iris. Great projection and longevity. She is not "cozy".. you need to get to know her and fall in love and celebrate her. 🤍

Love at first sniff.

I bought this blindly because I was fairly sure I had smelled it before at a perfume counter and enjoyed it there, but passed it up at the time.

From first spray, to the dry down, this is gorgeous. It's as if someone sprinkled diamonds on a cake.

It's classy, sweet, elegant, a bit sexy, just beautiful.

I can see this becoming one of my favorites.

A good signature scent as well, appropriate for any time of year I think, day or night.

10/10! Highly recommend.

Phantomias

Strangely brittle opening leads to a lot of musk. Within that mixture lurks a sweet vanilla note like waffle cones. I had to smell my wrist repeatedly to make sure I wasn't imagining that note.
Vanilla is fine by me, and so are waffle cone notes. But the combination is a strange one, esp. with the powdery iris opening.
Not very intense in sillage, TI has good lasting power.
I applied a light spritz last night and can still smell it this morning.
As expected from Tiffany, this perfume has a beautiful presentation. Despite its sweet notes TI is work safe. There's a unisex quality about this scent.

Sade800

I sprayed some on a card in the Tiffany store and LOVED it. I then bought a sample before I splurged on a 75ml bottle and I'm glad that I did.

Top notes are DIVINE, it's soft, fresh, powdery, strong and quite unique.
It projects well and you can smell it throughout the day.

(It reminds me somewhat of Dolce Vita however not as smooth.)

I wasn't convinced by the dry down though, to me it smelt like a cheapish Coty or Revlon priced perfume.
I have the original Tiffany and that is in the same league as a Chanel perfume, this is not in my opinion.

I LOVE musky powdery perfumes and bought Alyssa Ashley Musk Extreme instead which I already have purchased several times before.

I think Intense is over priced for what it is.

Amascent

I love this scent, its very powdery, feminine, sweet vanilla floral. Divine. Not too heavy, easy to wear. To me it smells expensive. I love jasmine and iris together, and that's the main root of it. I'm also in love with the mandarin leaf opening, fresh to the nose, opens you up and allows the rest to sink in. The mandarin fades quickly and the true beauty you're left with is the rich powdery vanilla, with ambers and deep sweetness you get grounding it all. Truly a well balanced machine that performs very well and lasts. I adore it and can't stop smelling my wrists after I spray it. However its not for everyone... I tried this in store with my mom. While my reaction was very positive and I had to buy a bottle, my mom turned her nose at it and said it smells like a french whore lol. She thought it was too powdery, and smelled like talcum powder. But to each is own. To me this is lovely.

beatrix75

Omg this is the most beautiful scent I ever smelled it's like light musky soft vanilla and something....I don't know but its gorgeous! The projections its huge fills the room long lasting excellent quality I totally fall in love with 10/10

jjoyce2

Maybe my tastes are just not that modern, but I really do enjoy powdery, lipstick, makeup scents. Maybe this is because I grew up smelling these scents on women very close to me. Some of my most favorite fragrances are powdery scents with a vanilla base or violets. Frederic Malle’s Lipstick Rose will be one of my all time favorites. Tiffany&co Intense seems to be in line with this type of fragrance. I get a strong violet, musk fragrance with a vanilla base. This pulls sweet, but never gets cloying and has the perfect amount of sweetness.

The projection is moderate, and the longevity is also decent, being an intense version. Heat really helps with its performance, especially indoors on a cooler day. I wouldn’t wear this in summer though. I didn’t particularly care for the original Tiffany&co, but if you are looking for a more versatile or work friendly scent, that one would work better. This can also be versatile if you go easy on the sprays. Also noting that I got a compliment for this, and I rarely ever get any compliments for fragrances.

Vvill

I love the bottle. Unfortunately this smells like a hot mess of granny’s powder on me. I have mine to a friend who likes it. Smells much better on her

auroramaria

I find the original EDP very pretty but it is the Intense that won my heart.Interse,to me,is one of the most beautiful scents I have ever smelled. This one is soft, velvety powdery iris and vanilla,it smells so rich and elegant, this one could be an excellent signature scent for any elegant yet modern woman
Sillage and longevity both great this scent is medium to heavy no need to overspray it can become cloying

zirzilla

On me this is a super sweet and youthful scent. But it projects like crazy, just one spray fills the room.

Annemarie

This is just an impression based on a spritz on my arm and on a blotter.

I was taken aback. Tiffany Intense strikes me as an old school lipstick and powder fragrance in the same tradition as Malle's Lipstick Rose and Chloe's Love, Chloe. The notes are not identical but the effect is similar. I didn't think that such perfumes appeal much any more to the mainstream customer - witness the discontinuation of Love, Chloe despite it being the only interesting perfume that Chloe has released in years.

Anyway, good luck to this one. It's a genre I admire more than like, and for my taste Tiffany Intense is a bit on the sweet side, and heavy. It makes me look around for a window to open. Pretty good though. Much better than its predecessor, which I tested and forgot even before I'd left the fragrance floor.

ParisLoveXo

Absolutely love this , on my second bottle this year , At first when I tried this I got almost a windex smell in a good way but then it grew on me , powdery iris, fresh and clean . Smells expensive and boujee , longevity lasts me till the next day! This will stick to your clothing as well!! 10/10 for me on this .

dglightblue

Tiffany Intense vs tiffany edp
Spring weather, cool still.

Intense is better on me.
I like both off the bat, but edp gues gentle acidy like Arden untold edp does (tho not same scent)
Intense ends a smidge like le petit robe noir theres a not fruity powder berry.
Overall clean, powder, deep, not sharp feel to it.
Lasts very well. 10am to about 6pm

HillTop

Don't let the bottle fox you as it did to me. You would probably expect something fresh and light like a smooth silky cloud. But this is a powdery bomb full of iris and musk. It is classy, feminine and mature but I can't imagine wearing it on a young girl. If I would have to choose a person wearing this it could be Catherine Deneuve or Elizabeth Taylor.

I can't find the fresh green undertone neither mandarine or pear.
But after all it is well blended and it developes to a nice skin scent. Noble fragrance but not for everybody. Try before you buy. ;)

Venusia

In opening fresh green iris that fades to a fluffy sweet powdery one, pretty intense all along the way. Longevity about 8+ hours. Inoffensive but definitely elegant. I kind of like this scent.

Nancy83

A musky powdery iris scent. This is weird, some sniffs I liked it, some I didn't.

The projection is moderate poor and the lasting is average. I'm glad it isn't cloying, but I was expecting more power from a fragrance with Intense in the name. I got sniffs here and there and around 8 hours it was a skin scent.

I got compliments, my mom loves it, it does smells sophisticated and proper lady. I don't hate it, but it's not really my type. I will use up my sample the days I feel for a powder iris perfume.

Edit: As my love for powder iris grows, I fell in love with it. I found it soft and sweet. I would buy it if I had the money.

Edit: I bought it! Different than what I have in my collection. I think it will be perfect for fall winter.

Edit: I love the slow mist of the sprayer.

Vvill

Thankfully I got this as a sample. I wanted to love this but it just smelled like a powdery mess on me. Onto the next!

laurelin08

Georgia_Peach got it right. It's clean and bright, soft and powdery, but then it turns into Windex and it's way too sharp. The Intense version is not as bad as the original version and the glass cleaner goes away after the first five minutes, but the house cleaner vibe is still there. I thought it was baby wipes at first or surface counter, but glass cleaner it is. Also, sadly, I've come to realize that anything with iris turns too musky and old lady on my skin.

Georgia_Peach

My husband asked me why I smelled like Windex... I just *knew* there was something familiar with this scent! Oh well, this one is not for me.

StarMagix

Tiffany Intense was the first of this selection that I had to have. My husband liked it so much that it had to be first. I on the other hand could not stop thinking about the original version also, so I had to purchase it too. I love the Intense. To me it has a pepper note that sets it apart from the original version. It last quite a long time on m skin and like the original, even longer on my clothes. Tiffany Intense has a rich lady vib to it in my opinion. It gives me a spark of energy I cannot label but feels like an elegant day/evening out for some high style entertainment. Elegance in a bottle.

Avarie

More elegant than one would expect, but intense it is indeed. I find it to be a slightly sweetened, "fresh cotton body spray" smell, but in perfume form and on steroids. Rich vanilla-ed powder and fresh grassiness all the way through, the undertone of Heno de Pravia. With little nods to something sweet that you think is going to be revealed as extra fruit, but it's just more verdant powder. I almost thought it was too strong and would fare better in its original form, but more sniffs make me realize that the heaviness is what makes it so indulgent, modern, and a bit addicting. I'm thinking of a sunny city day somewheres in Europe...

clintjr82

I am a man and I feel this stuff smells great for a woman. Simple ,Elegant and distinct. It’s an alluring and intoxicating scent. It grew on me after trying a few a times. It’s fresh with depth. This will be on my to buy list for my woman. Either this or the original. They brought in Daniela Andrier for this one the powder queen perfumer. She did this one well though. I like Tiffany over the super hyped Chanel scents. Chanel does there men’s fragrances way better than there female scents lol

JuneBug_89

I can see how this could be the perfect office fragrance for some people, but the iris note is a bit too cold and powdery for me. I like some soft and warm elements in my fragrances.

WildDove

Tiffany & Co Intense gives me an impression of cherry and light musk. Later I came to appreciate the iris, the rooty carrot (which I love), the amber or ambroxan, and the rose. Yes it does have a lipstick vibe. Very easy to wear for any occasion, venue, time of year, especially in the Spring. Try it in the crook of your arm for the most beautiful development. Definite signature material.

lmwimsatt

Wow this is so much better than the original, which I hated! This one is a complete masterpiece that I like a lot! This smells of musk and carrots... very unique and nice.

Albiretu

I tried this on paper at SDM. I agree with the review below, it smells like an auntie with too much makeup and lipstick on. Not flattering at all. So far I tried the original and this one and they are both a big miss for me.

elmccullar

You know your loud aunt that wears too much makeup and big colorful kimonos and has 6 little dogs? This is the perfume I think she’d wear. It’s loud and cloying and powdery, but not in a good way. I had high hopes for this one, but it disappointed me.

Little_dragon

It reminds me of Stetson circa 1988.

Ulusia

SA gave us a scented paper and all 3 of us agreed that it smells synthetic, like fuel. When I read all reviews, I think that some bottles may smell completely different

marinaw90

I was keen to try this after I fell in love with the original. Sadly this flanker is not as nice to my nose.

It has lost the freshness and fruitiness and replaced it with a lot of powder and sweetness. It smells like crushed Love Heart sweets to me. It is a more mature smell as well.

I always find it odd when flankers are named Intense, when they are not more intense version, they are simply a completely different scent.

Yurpdod

I was thoroughly unimpressed by the original Tiffany fragrance (once I realized that it smelled like Windex there was no redeeming it), so I didn't have high expectations for Tiffany Intense. But I was pleasantly surprised! The iris note is both cool and warm, with a beautiful smooth musk underneath. I love the textural quality of Tiffany Intense -- it's crystalline and glassy, yet also soft and easy to wear. There are a lot of fascinating contradictions in the fragrance, but everything works very nicely together.

I absolutely agree with other reviewers who mentioned that the iris note here is very similar to Dior Homme, which makes Tiffany Intense completely unisex. This could actually be a great warm weather or daytime alternative to Dior Homme.

Very nice!

Bebubiba

it is the best release of 2018, it is fresh with powdery iris vibe, i like that musk undertone in it

ave_maria

I'd describe it as a soft, cotton-like, cozy scent. Very feminine, something that would suit a sweet girl who doesn't want to stand out too much. I really like this scent, but it is a little too powdery for my tastes.

Jacquis

My signature scent. I've owned every tiffany perfume ever available over the last 20 years. This is my favorite. The performance and sillage are great but inoffensive. Very pleasant fresh floral musky scent for all seasons. Very rare to find a fragrance with such performance for the summertime.

Lilyflowertulip

I didn't think I liked powdery perfumes, but Jeremy Fragrance raves about this one so I bought a tester on ebay. Surprisingly, I quite liked it. It's very powdery to my uneducated nose, but there's enough other stuff- florals and sweetness, I guess- that somehow I find I really like it. And it is VERY long lasting. I sprayed it around 8 AM and as I sit here writing this 13 hours later, I'm still getting wafts of it from my blouse. The problem is, I got a headache and sneezed more than usual today. I'm going to try this again in a few days and spray less this time, so I clearly underestimated this perfume's power and see if that doesn't alleviate the problem. I'd probably buy a bottle of this if it doesn't aggravate my allergies.

SmellyLauren

I’ve had a craving for a long time for a fragrance that had the warm, deep, musk that I love but also had the nostalgic 90’s fresh and sweet vibe that I loved for so long. I was finding that everything I was trying was on one of those extremes, or something completely different. I wanted something that married who I was with who I am now and this hit the nail on the head. When the woman at the counter initially recommended the newest Tiffany fragrance, I was not intrigued as I was expecting something along the lines of bright crystal. I was so wrong. Like I said, this fragrance masterfully blends youth, and maturity, making it appealing to everyone, but it’s not at all generic. I only wish it projected a bit more. Could very well become my signature in the near future.

Fluffyandpuffy

La la love the sample, want more, it’s fresh and soft at the same time. Then becomes warm and with just the right amount of vanilla, not too much.

Spasticink

to be honest i prefer EDT on my wife than EDP.
EDT is less powdery and more musky and transparent.
Longevity for both comparable. As for Coty product I find both very overpriced!

meggystardust

So, I have long been searching for a year-long daytime and special event-worthy type of scent... After watching a few of Jeremy Frag's YouTube reviews, the way that they kept reviewing Tiffany Intense really spoke to what I was looking for. I finally tracked it down at the nearby big Macy's in the mall during the big holiday rush. I sampled both Tiffany & Co. and the Intense. People are right about the differences, as the first one had a sharper tone to it that I knew probably owed to the mix of the citrus and musky patchouli. I'd had enough of that combo so I figured it would be better to review at a later time. And I was too anxious to smell what I came to smell!
Almost shockingly, Intense was that love at first sniff that I hardly ever come by anymore! It reminds me, I think, that I have been looking for something like this for quite long time... It is pretty powdery at first, I admit, though not breaching the limit IMO. And it's hard to get in really close in the beginning because the Iris may actually poke you in the nose a bit! But as time goes on with it, it charms me by playing more with the pear and vanilla on a bed of the cashmeran, and the more powdery sillage starts to fade until its more of a whisper - which is how to should be! The little pops of Iris since then radiate from my skin in a very soft and beautiful way! And that's how I know I have absolutely fallen for this scent..... so much that it feels to me like it's... signature.
The saleslady really didn't even have to talk me into blowing my self-gifting holiday budget on the larger size since most of their stock were selling like hotcakes.
It's just SUCH a PRETTY perfume! It IS expensive. It DOES say luxury, but in a more personal, comfy way. It's like the best hug in the world... one you've been waiting for your whole life. :)

bartenderbabe

This perfume opens with a faint citrus note, then morphs into a sparkly floral blend, primarily iris, and powder. The drydown is beautiful and long lasting, and as I continued to sniff my wrists it called to mind the scent of Hermes Kelly Caleche. Yes indeed, these two fragrances share the citrus, the powder, the iris and the benzoin, especially in the end. What Tiffany Intense does not have, however, is that iconic leather note that Kelly does, which in my opinion makes it a warmer and younger scent, not as clinical and detached as Kelly can sometimes seem. This scent has incredible staying power, still ensconced on my elbow and wrists 6 hours after application. Definitely has a “rich” vibe to it, I can see it being a “lady of the manor” type scent.

masako_30

Awesome, awesome powdery and intimate version of Tiffany & Co. It's a tender caress on my skin. As always iris radiates endlessly, smoothed by musk.
Wonderful. Awesome!

SaraX

I'm usually a fan of powdery scents, but I feel like they've overdone the powderiness in this one and this does not perfome well on my skin.

On my skin this is heavy and musty. I get the iris note, but unfortunately it's a very dusty & musty iris, hiding underneath all the musky and woody notes of this scent.

In order to love this, i think you will have to be prepared to love the kind of heavy musky and woody powderiness, instead of the lipstick & makeup kind of sweeter powderiness.

Happyme2009

I smelled this and it’s really beautiful but muted . The bottle is lovely, the perfume smells like powdery iris and musk. It doesn’t have much silage or sparkle, and the lasting power is just average. Kind of like a skin scent. In my opinion it’s lacking in the top notes department which will probably keep,it from becoming popular. However it has charm, and a delicate feminine softness.
In the beginning there is a tiny citrus sparkle which disappears within seconds . Then the iris comes, beautiful, in full bloom, with roots too, but never becoming carrot-y like Hiris. The iris is mixed with heavy and clean musk ... imagine a Narciso Rodrigues with Iris instead of rose, tons of musk,,and a powdery sweetness . The drydown is musky clean, soft , elegant.
It costs $165 plus tax for a 75 ml bottle. In my opinion it’s,very beautiful but overpriced. Why ?
Well, the packaging is not luxurious, a pretty turquoise carboard box. The bottle is lovely indeed, diamond cut, resembling turquoise colored crystal . It’s very pretty but it doesn’t match the scent inside.
The silage and lasting power are both barely average . And while the scent is addictive and very comforting, it lacks opulence, luxury, glamour. And yet I bought it, becuase it feels like a soft cashmere blanket wrapped around me, and it calms me down . Big love from me but try before you buy.

This is heavy on iris and musk, quite dusted and generally heavy. The color of the bottle does not reflect the scent.

I don't like it all. Definitely NOT a crowd pleaser. Try before you buy.

Mistressvoodoodolly

Very pleasant and soft. Powdery but not in an aldehyde way. I usually don’t like iris but I am a huge fan of benzoin so I find this very elegant and comforting amidst all the cloying gourmands and fruity florals.

I have to agree with "fivezero", it's "An interminably dull mishmash of a scent." I can't make up my mind if it's the iris of just a soapy type fragrance, either way it didn't last very long and faded into a whisper. I think it's a good fragrance to wear to sleep in. Too bad, as I love the bottle.

Just received my second bottle, I must say it is my go to fragrance when I want to smell stylish , pretty and fresh..The amber gives it also that warm rounded vibe...so feminine, so lovely! My only issue is a poor projection, but the more I wear it, the more I find it unique, and enticing , although it is soft and intimate in a way.
As far as it being compared to Dior homme, goodness, not at all! This is all femininity in a bottle..
I suspect I will keep buying it! If you are looking to gift a nice pretty scent, don't hesitate, it has a mass appeal for sure, without being a powerhouse of a scent...just nice nice creation !!

Lotv73

The bottle is stunning.

I never really cared for the original one which is strange for me because I usually quite enjoy everything that this perfumer does(DANIELA ROCHE ANDRIER). She is of course prada's in-house perfumer and I love infusion d'Iris. Why are you talking about her I hear you ask???

Well, because this fragrance has her signature written all over it. To me the first sniff of Tiffany intense immediately and I mean immediately took me to infusion d'Iris absolue - Prada.
Same balsamic, powdery elegant feeling.

It's a shame that Infusion d'Iris Absolue is discontinued but if you are lucky enough to have a bottle stashed away somewhere like I do then I suggest that you guys have a side by side test.

I love this intense version better than the original but since I already have the Prada sister version I feel that this is too familiar and not enough point of difference to get this one as well.

There's only one way of describing this - opulence. If you're wearing this, my instincts say you must be extremely wealthy. It's a very blended scent in my opinion, I didn't quite get all those notes. It's a very warm, powdery scent, wrapped with some gentle floral notes. A weirdly familiar scent.

SWEET AND WARM IRIS
______________________________________________________

TIFFANY INTENSE opens with a strong musky iris note and a few moments later the benzoin, amber and vanilla join and turns the fragrance into a a warm and sweet iris.

The earthy iris (root) stays strong throughout the entire day. I love it

Longevity: - 7/10
Sillage: - 7/10

All in all: 10 out of 10 subjective points -> I love iris parfumes and this one is a unique sweet iris fragrance.

Update: I received it for Christmas and I love it, but I have to criticize the box. I understand, that it has to resemble a box with a diamond-ring in it, but the quality is very poor. The cardboard is cheap, for lack of better word, and it doens't hold the box very good together.
The bottle is loose within the box and if you happen to carry the box a long way, the bottle may break. Even if most people throw it away, you buy the whole package and I expected a lot more from Tiffany's.

Soft, clean and relaxing. It's amazing, it's like a cuddle.

This is one of the few perfumes my husband complimented. He really isn’t in to fragrance and when I ask him how something smells his answer is usually “it smells like perfume.” But he hugged me the other day and spontaneously commented “you smell good!” So this is going to become a signature.

Similar to its predecessor, yet different. The first thing that came to mind upon testing it - this is an equivalent of Dior Homme for women! The first blast seems very similar (lots of iris), yet when compared side by side, they are distinctly different.

I sense mostly iris, and smooth musk. There is also a citrusy note from the beginning. Later i sense another rather strong note (might be benzoin according to the votes), but it seems too loud here.

The first version of this perfume seems more refined and sofisticated to me. Even more feminine if you like. But they are both good

I really liked the first one and in my review on that I kept complaining about the longevity and writing that I wished they would make an intense version.

Well, here it is! It just recently launched in Macy’s here on the East Coast USA and it has been available in Bloomingdales for a month or so. I didn’t have time to go to New York to Bloomingdales to try it. I did just go to Macy’s and try it and then I bought a full bottle.

I love it so much! I LOVE the fact that the company realized that it wasn’t just me who would wnjoy an intense version.

Iris and orris are my favorite notes right now. Well, vanilla and tonka too... and maybe ambergris but not altogether...

Anyway, the Iris is much more prominent in this fragrance to me. There is still the citrusy opening which is lovely.

This is not exactly like the original in that the orris is really the star and it’s a bit more powdery and has some more sillage but not so much where fragrance haters would say you were giving them a headache.

The longevity is greatly increased. I get a decent 6-8 hrs out of this.

The best part for me in addition to the more prominent orris was the addition of amber to the base. It adds a nice warmth to the dry down and really makes this a beautiful composition.

This will be my new go-to work fragrance.

I could see people complaining that this is “ordinary” but I don’t see it that way. It’s more like someone will smell it on you and think or say “you smell really pretty” and it gives off an air of being really put together.

This isn’t like wearing Fracas or Truth or Dare and calling a lot of attention to yourself. This is about presenting a subtle and beautiful put together all around look.

auroramaria

This is simply stunning! It is a smooth soft sweet and powdery heavenly scent. I like the first versione and I absolutely love the Intense,it is so classy with its beautiful iris and sweet Amber, benzoin provides the warmth.Very well blended and has great sillage and longevity.A true diamond.

Finally it arrived in Canada ! I have the original which I quite like and wear a lot in the summer as a classy citrusy freshi. I was hoping this intense version would be a true version of it minus the citrus plus the balsamic and higher emphasis in the iris department. And it’s exactly what I was hoping for. I have been wearing it all day and I am loving it. It’s a muted more rounded less in your face version , it’s deeper but not heavy , it’s smooth and has the cosmetic lipstick vibe and is very much a daily scent. The first thing that came to mind is DIOR Homme ,,,all the way ! I own Dior homme and love it. A balsamic muted iris scent that works well on both sexes. However I prefer Tiffany intense to Dior Homme on me as it takes more feminine direction. This was love at first sniff !
#Lipstick,#Iris # balsamic,# powdery # classy

FabulouslyLazy

This one is the female counterpart to Dior Homme Intense. The powdery note is so lovely. I want it!

raiza1990

It got a bit too powdery to my taste, when i compare it to the original. It is still fresh but suffocating powdery. It is an unusual combination, but not a successful one, in my opinion.

violetstorm

oh my i love the intense version........i like it much better than the original tiffany & co scent.........this is the grown up sister version or i should say lady version :)

on me the iris & amber stand out & it has a luxury powdery way to it - its not ur teenage powdery scent lol - its the grown up version lol :) also love the musk undertones

i call this version liquid jewels in a bottle :)

Old Herbaceous

I really like Tiffany & Co., and I'll be happy to try this "intense" version, but if I'm being honest with myself, what I REALLY want is that beautiful bottle! Gorgeous shade of Tiffany blue!
Update: I now own one of the beautiful blue bottles and I'm delighted to say that I love this version! It is in fact more intense and the iris is richer. Just beautiful all around: packaging, marketing, and most important, the fragrance. Try it!

genny17

I bought that one here in the US and I must say I really
like it ! It is to my nose better than the original which was too floral for my taste
Intense has a nice green undertone with the mandarine and the iris is warm and muted , lovely feminine scent ..
The base more typically musky, just a very nice creation
Overall easy to wear , feminine and smells great !
Now why it is called Intense I don’t know as longevity isn’t great
I feel the original projected more
Still enjoying that version a lot !
