Noir Pour Femme by Tom Ford is a Amber Floral fragrance for women. Noir Pour Femme was launched in 2015. The nose behind this fragrance is Sonia Constant. Top notes are Ginger, Bitter Orange, Mandarin Orange and Bergamot; middle notes are Kulfi, Rose, Orange Blossom and Jasmine; base notes are Vanilla, Amber, Sandalwood and Mastic or Lentisque.

Tom Ford is launching a women’s fragrance as a pair to the edition for men Tom Ford Noir from 2012, which received successors Noir Eau de Toilette from 2013 and Noir Extreme from 2015. The new composition aimed at women "maintains the fascinating paradox of Tom Ford woman in the seductive oriental-floral fragrance which is both sensual and extravagant," says Tom Ford.

Its black, opaque bottle is characteristic for is narrow relief creases, created to follow the style of numerous Tom Ford collection editions, but it brings us a completely new shape. The golden color stopper follows its dimensions and form, and is also of characteristic design. On the official website of Tom Ford brand, the new edition for women was presented without much description or composition notes, but it offers purchase of 30 ml EDP. By doing so Tom Ford intrigues his fans even more!

The advertising campaign is signed by fashion photographers Inez & Vinoodh (Inez van Lamsweerde & Vinoodh Matadin). The advertising face of the new fragrance TOM FORD NOIR POUR FEMME is model Lara Stone.

Am I the only one who smells a resemblance to Dior feve? Of course my husband likes this when it's discontinued. He never compliments my perfume but I have a small sample of this and he likes it. So do I.

Silverquick

A dark aromatic beauty. I get a lot of deep sandal wood and vanilla (like in vanille fatale) so beautiful. The citruses, florals and that kulfi note. It’s spectacular.

I find it smoother and richer than Noir Extreme. For me it’s longer lasting and more polished somehow.

I cherish the bottle I managed to acquire. Perfect for late autumn/winter days or nights❤️

MikiRae

I’m just here to lament the discontinuation of one of the best fragrances of all time. I still cant believe it! This fragrance is a legend in its own right, so unique and warm and sexy and devastating! TT

Tom Ford bring it back!

Anastuki

I agree with everyone that named this one Sex on a Bottle... This is orgasmic! Spicy, nutty ice cream, the kulfi note and the mastic are EVERYTHING!!! It's sweet but not cloying, it's sexy, it's seductive, it's mysterious, it's the smell I want people to associate me with! I am convinced that they always discontinue the best ones, what a shame! I ll maybe try Noir Extreme as an alternative, cause I love the scent profile of Noir pour femme so much, I need something at least similar!!!

Meredithe

Smooth, oriental, spicy vanilla concoction.

I usually layer it with Noir Extreme which works perfectly for me during early spring and fall. Noir Extreme is stronger and sweeter on my skin whereas Noir Pour Femme is much weaker. Love Kulfi note in both.

It's not "sweet" - it's a perfectly balanced aromatic fragrance leaning gourmand. Such a shame it's discontinued, like most fragrances I like or love. Big mistake. Big. Huge!

DENSE AND CREAMY MILK DESSERT
[brief review]

For me, San Paulo is the heart of Latin America. It's a lively, colourful and very cosmopolitan city. I lived in São Paulo for almost four years and I have to confess that I fell madly in love with the city. It's too busy, too big, too tall, too unsafe, too crowded, but extremely attractive. It's the least xenophobic city I know. Unlike all the other big metropolises, here live side by side Italians, Portuguese, Japanese, Koreans, Jews, Spaniards, Argentinians, Germans, Armenians, Syrians, Lebanese... and perhaps also some Brazilians who have forgotten their genealogical origins. All of these different ethnic groups preserve their original customs and no one bothers with the tastes of others. These different traditions are reflected in the food ingredients, the dishes and the spices used. Everyone strives to maintain and even improve their traditional flavours and aromas. Meals tend to be very tasty, rich and fun. You can choose to eat in hundreds of restaurants of very different styles. We often get the impression that São Paulo's culinary variants are better than the originals. In São Paulo, I've eaten the best Italian pizza, the best Portuguese cod, the best Spanish paella, the best German eisbein and the best Arab hummus.
That day, my wife and I opted for a typical Brazilian brunch. My wife confessed that she was looking forward to a dessert of canjica, a calorie bomb made with caramelised condensed milk. It's very popular on Valentine's Day, whether you're eating it alone or with your better half. But above all, only if you're a very greedy person. Although historically this dessert originated on the Iberian islands of the Atlantic, it is now considered a traditional Brazilian recipe.
"I'm sorry, my love, but how did you think of that just now? Let's choose a nice aliche pizza and drink some coconut water or soursop juice," I said.
"My dear, you smell like canjica everywhere, so you must have eaten it earlier today. Let's pretend it's still a good time to gorge ourselves on canjica," she replied.
That morning, I'd only had a cup of coffee, toast with butter and a slice of papaya. I couldn't smell any kind of dessert... could I? So I simply said to her: "Darling, smell my neck!"
"Wow! You must have shaved with Canjica this morning, I'm sure you did..." she said.
The mystery is solved! Tom Ford's very unisex "Noir pour Femme" smells like a Brazilian dessert of caramelised condensed milk!

In my collection, I have many perfumes labelled as being for women. Noir pour Femme" is another one of them. It opens fresh with citrus and ginge, but quickly evolves into a heart with florals and a strong sweet note, namely the sweet Indian dish called Kulfi. This dessert flavour is very similar to that of Canjica but with an oriental twist. There are nuances of rose, mango, cardamom, saffron and pistachio, as well as the scent of condensed and caramelised milk. The woody, amber base reveals a sweet, smooth continuity. It is rich in vanilla and sandalwood on a base of balsamic and slightly herbaceous resins.
I describe this fragrance as deeply oriental, unmistakably sweet, but not at all cloying. I find it extremely seductive and completely unisex. The performance is above average, even for a rather intense Tom Ford, and the projection will delight any addict of sweet oriental perfumes. I know of few perfumes that manage to be so suited to the typical mid-season climate. This fragrance is an excellent suggestion for autumn or spring.
I imagine that many men would also buy this perfume if "Noir Extreme" wasn't available. However, for me, the similarity between these two perfumes is minimal and I found it perfectly justifiable to buy both for my use.
Note: "Noir Pour Homme" is very different from the two "Noirs" I mentioned above and is only suitable for men.

@Fenissa Pour Femme is heavier on the sweetness and has worse performance. That's it.

Fenissa

I just used up the last spray from my bottle of Noir pour femme. 😓😓😓😓😓
Can any of you lovely people out there advise me on how similar it is to Noir Extreme please?
Any advice is appreciated.

Ladies, I will tell you... this is one of the sexiest fragraces you could ever wear. It is dark, mysterious, sweet, different, and just smells like a "gorgeous woman". I love this scent so much, I purchased a bottle back in the day and I like to ocassionly reach for it and just smell it, it's that pleasing. As a man in his mid 30's, I wouldn't wear it out in public bc its 100% a femm frag, but if there were ever a scent that makes you want to bite the person who is wearing it....this is it. SEX in a bottle fire emoji

BoldlyEmbrace

Why on earth did they discontinue this absolute masterpiece? I should have sensed it was being axed when I picked up a bottle for £75 from a huge high street retailer. I wish I bought 4 bottles! I’m right on the verge of being extorted by resellers, but still holding off in the hope that TF pull their finger out.

Laurenjh

Used to LOVE this fragrance but don’t have any left as never anticipated at the time that they would stop selling it. I would wear it to work and it felt super classy! Petition to bring it back!

lorna.1

Please can we get Estee Lauder to brung this one back. The others are not as good imo this was the perfect Kulfi note.

Idealauras

Very unique CREAMY saffron and Kulfi notes on top of a nice, woodsy amber / lactonic fragrance. Pistachio weaves through it, but in no way does this feel like it is exclusively for women.

This is totally silly to be “for her” and I feel like it isolated a large market and resulted in its discontinuation, dispute it being the best of the line of these fragrances (imo).

Very underrated and under appreciated. Special, expensive smelling and truly unique.

Creamy without being sweet or overtly “vanilla”.

Signature scent worthy!!!!

MUCH more interesting and wearable than Black Orchid to me because of the amazing depth and blending with the absence of the sometimes overwhelming patchouli. (And I actually like black orchid tbh!)

One of the better TF!

I love the bottle, but maybe it is a bit more femme for some.

If it were marketed a bit differently, I think this would have sales like black orchid or better.
It is so wearable and charming and classy.

Everything I want and nothing I don’t!

blondeamber

One day I decided to search for a Kulfi recipe and make it for dessert, just because I was curious of the smell. Made it with milk, cream, pistachios, cardamom and saffron. First of all it was delicious and second of all I totally recognize it in Noir Pour Femme now. Yummmm. This is still amazing.

redskyatnight

I love TF signature kulfi note. Smells expensive and is kind of a hallmark I think others try to copy. It's been a few years since I tried NPF but I'm suddenly craving it and may get a small bottle if I can find it.

Avox

I love this one, whenever I go out I get so many compliments, it is unisex for sure. It lasts a long time (8hrs+) on me and the sweet ambery and vanilla scent is just perfectly blended. It's a shame that this has been discontinued, will keep using my 100ML bottle for special occasions.

I like this fragrance but I don't love it. I have a 98% full 50 ml bottle that I want to sell in the EU. PM me if you are interested 🤗

canadianpetite

For me, it oscillates between - Woods with amber and cedar shavings with pencil lead. Vanilla here is done softly rather than sweetly. Nevertheless, too masculine for my liking.

One spray on me:
Sillage: arm's length or more
Longevity: intense for first hour then fades to more palatable level
Rating: 2/5 on me and 4/5 on men

fefefex

The perfect dark vanilla. It is elegant and not too old and powdery or too young and candy-like. A teenager could wear this to be more sophisticated and an older woman could wear this to be more youthful and sexy. It is sweet and innocent on the surface but more edgy and gothic closer to the skin. I hope they bring this back one day because I discovered it too late. I cannot understand why they would discontinue this perfection! Especially with it being the more feminine counterpart to Noir. I want this on my vanity for the rest of my life so I will continue to hunt down bottles online.

LoveAndMagic

I originally wrote a review for this back in 2015 when I had first purchased a full bottle. Here it is 8 yrs later, with less than 1/8 of a bottle left from babying it through the years and wow has it changed. The weather dropped below 70 and I pulled it out, but this time it no longer held the delicious sweetness it once had. Maybe the excessive months of heat this year made it turn? As I wore it through the evening, I finally realized what it had morphed into…a full blown #2 pencil! Cedar shavings with lead included. And strangely, I still love it lol. A male friend has the Noir Extreme version and that one smells very similar to the original Noir Pour Femme. I guess I will have to snab a sample and try it out. Wish they would bring this back.

Fragaddict4u

Coca Cola, cloves, cherry vanilla pipe tobacco & a lactonic accord. It somehow reminds me of Enigma pour homme parfum just more lactonic. It also resembles Roja Manhattan edp. The ginger and clove makes this decidedly Christmasy.

This has little to no longevity..

Aromatherapi

Unique . Discreet yet ever-present and even Unisex for the confident Male .

Kaylovely

I don't think clove is in Kulfi dessert but Cardamom.
Try Kulfi from Laromatica 100x better than this. Actually smells like the Indian Dessert not some fornicated replica.
Noir doesn't smell authentic, I would say the masc version smells more realistic. To each its own. No sense in crying over spilled milk!
Laromatica even has different variations on the kulfi scent. Featuring a mango dominant, almond dominant etc.

RoxannaVonD

I got this fragrance from my auntie who also happens to be a big perfume lover. I am usually fond of Tom Ford fragrances, so I knew this would suit my taste. And I wasn't disappointed. This fragrance is AMAZING! When you first spray the fragrance, you get this rich, juicy hit of oriental sweetness. In the opening I mostly smell cloves (which is a key ingredient in Kulfi) and citrus. I don't get much of the floral notes trough the fragrance. The drydown is wonderful; on my skin it smells like a delicious glass of cooked wine= super oriental, sweet and slightly spicy. The ONLY complaint is the longevity which isn't as eternal like some other Tom Ford fragrances. This perfume smells unisex for me. Overall, if you are a fan of other Tom Ford perfumes, or oriental gourmands in general, I would definitely reccomend getting this

LEMAYR

This is my most favorite and loved fragrance. I have a full size new-ish bottle and another 3/4 full old bottle which might have gone bad. I’m so sad that this has been discontinued. Have never smelled anything like it. It’s the highest quality and most intoxicating and long lasting winter/fall scent. I can’t believe TF discontinued it. Makes no sense. It was their best Women’s fragrance.

MoctezumaC

PERFECTION --- SENSUALITY --- MYSTERY.

So sad this one is coming to an end. Bad decision TF!!!!! This lasts on my skin overnight...made me feel my oats every time I wore it out.

If you absolutely must....DOSSIER has a dupe available.....Yes I went there and I got my Noir Pour Femme Tom Ford for women fix. Just turn the other way...no one will know LOL LOL

Enjoy it while it lasts girl!!

Absolutely amazing! For a decade, this has been my favorite scent and I'm devastated that it is coming to an end as it is no longer accessible. I am unable to find a fragrance that has a more pleasant scent or longer staying power on my skin. I don't know what I should wear in the future following this. There is no comparison.

Jazzlady

My favourite. I have been looking for my new fragrance, after years with only 2 fragrances, one being my top. In this search, I discoveted many and now own very many. I bought a sample of this and thought "this is the one". Unfortunately, I could not find anywhere. Rumor says it is discontinued, but I don't think it is official. I signed up for an alert in a few places in case it came back in stock, without much hope. But after several months, Fragrancebuy emailed me... and I finally have a 100ml bottle. Love love love! I love many others, and like even more others... but this ismy #1. I am tempted to get a 2nd bottle in case it never comes back.

Pulp

I have Noir Extreme and to me it smells very similar to Spicebomb. I wonder if Noir Pour Femme also smells like Spicebomb? Can someone help me

fantomette

I like this. It reminds me a lot of Angel’s Share in the sense that it has the same dark and boozy vibe. I smell a lot of spices and cinnamon, and a very sweet pastry note (most likely the Kulfi). Very gourmand and seductive. Very luxurious vacation-y.
I am not sure I would ever hunt down a full bottle of this, especially since it makes my nose tingle, but I will enjoy my sample !

briannadedrew

I tried so hard to like this but I just can't. I don't understand why I hate this because it's composed mostly of my favourite notes of all time: vanilla, amber, orange, mandarin, ginger, bergamot, and orange blossom. MY FAVES. Why does it smell nothing like any of those to me? It is not sexy, it is not dark, it is heavy and repulsive. When I say heavy, I mean it sticks to me and causes disruption deep within my innards and makes me want to pass away. To me it is very much masculine, but I wouldn't want to smell this on a guy either tbh. It genuinely smells like leather and vomit to me, even though leather ain't even a note which is confusing but I digress. I see that Kayali's Invite Only Amber has some votes up top and while I don't think they smell the same, they both evoke the same responses and feelings from me: 1. I'm gonna throw up 2. My head hurts 3. Get this shit off me.

Natalieex

I’ve never tried kulfi but if it tastes as good as this perfume smells then what a treat it must be! This is sugar, spice and everything nice. It’s a milky creamy sweet spicy concoction. So delicious!

I hope they bring this back! The thought of never being able to smell this again is tragic 💔

Belleprincess1

Omg I totally agree with perfume_angel below. This really does give Cruella devile vibes and I love it!!! It’s really sexy and has such a dark but comforting aura to it

perfume_angel

This is a spicy/oriental vanilla lover’s dream!

It smells dark, rich, creamy and sophisticated. It’s very sexy and sultry and I personally think that you have to love sweet spices to appreciate this beauty.

I mainly smell a sweet and spiced kulfi, ginger and a sexy jasmine. So delicious! 🍦🫚

It also gives me the femme fatale vibes of Cruella Deville and I imagine that this is what her fluffy coat would smell like🖤

10000/10

Trishalalalala

A very dark juice; potential-mark-leaver if sprayed on clothes.

Smells complex and vintage’y. Very similar to Coco Noir Chanel.

The kulfi note doesn’t come out as ‘kulfi’, more like a spiced-vanilla-sort-of-thing. Nothing too impressive.

Biocactuse

Tom Ford Noir pour Femme is definitely more complex and special than other TF fall-winter scents (etc. velvet orchid)

ChocoLei

Hmmmm, this smells so delicious. A blast of orange and spices in the opening that fades into condensed milk with hints of unsweetened, roasted pistacchio and vanilla. I thought I would get a bolder, more "in-your-face" pistacchio but I can still perceive it. I find this perfume very unique.

I don't know if I would call it full-on sexy but it's definitely a dark gourmand, if that makes sense? It smells delicious and cozy but also a little bit mysterious. I see how it can be a polarizing scent, it's quite unusual. I'm so happy I managed to smell it before the prices go super wild. I didn't try Noir Extrême nor the Extreme Le Parfum on skin yet, but on paper I felt like the former didn't have as much as a lactonic quality as the Pour Femme, and Le Parfum definitely smells much spicier. Both retains that very peculiar Noir DNA but I feel like lactonic & creamy accords lovers will fall for the Pour Femme harder than the other 3.

Projection seems quite good within the first hours of wear and I find longevity really good too.

smccmurphy

Kulfi and mastic that quickly fades into Aveeno lotion scent on my skin.

Kizzyb93

If anyone in 🇬🇧 is selling a bottle please send me a message

lmnsvgz

This is the PERFECT spicy vanilla scent. Compared to Nishane Ani (which I found to be a spicy bomb, too much for me), this is a lot easier to wear. The slight citrus and ginger blast helps it become lighter, even fresher in a way (especially for a vanilla scent). It is playful, seductive, not feminine but womanly. The base is a spiced vanilla but none of the spices are harsh or irritating. This is absolutely great

A39 (March 2019 batch)

I came across Noir Femme from trustable seller in community, 90USD for new 100 ml.
It quite a deal so I buy after I love Noir Homme and Noir de Noir.
(And I would like to try Kulfi note).

This is ok, very Gourmand and very different from Noir patchouli (Noir EDP, Noir de Noir EDP) base one. I am questioning why Noir..(?) this is not really a dark scent.

The most experience I receive is sweetened condensed milk with Creamy Sandalwood.
They're something Zingy due to Ginger, I do feel it mildly Lactonic and Balsamic too.

Unisex, but not alluring for male users really - might be a bit leans Fem imo.
I don’t own Noir Extreme but I can assume after I smell this that Noir extreme must be spicier and woodier than this which might be suitable for a male users.

This is more Gourmand aspect with a creamy woody sandalwood base.

Longevity is Good, and projection is Good.
8/10

(This review is based on Blind buy and I am new to gourmands after I tried a few gourmands (Lira, Italica and Noir Femme), this might not be my cup of tea after all.
But I do like a it a bit better than Lira / Italica)
==== EDIT 1 ===
March 17, 2023.

This is still the scent I feet back and fort.
It's like, I feel it like sometime it is manly sexy.
Sometimes, it emit strong feminine.

This is might be a first scent I consider as True androgyny?

But it's sure addictive, and I still find my answer.
I will share with you rather on.

lorna.1

I adore this and have been searching for a bottle, I would love this, and I would happily swap and buy if you have one to share or sell. The masculine ones do not smell the same. This is a sweet, moody dessert of a fragrance that is sexy and so underrated. I wish they didn't remove it from the line. Please bring it back, Estee Lauder.

LiliiiS

I'm a vanilla and a gourmand lover but unfortunately me and Tom For Noir Pour Femme are not meant to be. I don't like the opening. it's bitter and chemical. I don't know which note is responsible for it but I guess it's Mastic.
Ten minutes later, that bitter chemical note fades away and I'm left with a pleasant scent of vanilla, pistachio, milk and orange. in my country, there's this traditional ice cream which is flavoured with saffron and pistachio and I can smell a hint of something similar here. but it's not sweet or creamy enough to be a real gourmand. I'm also not sure if I like orange mixed with milky, nutty note in here.
As time passes citruses also fade away and all I can smell is powdery vanilla with a very faint touch of nutty yummyness and sandalwood.I find it unisex in this stage, maybe a bit closer to feminine side. it's pleasant and comforting. a high quality, not too sweet, grown up, woody vanilla but I don't find it special enough to wait through it's unpleasant opening. this is not a real noir scent on me. just a pleasant unisex vanilla scent. I decided to give it to my husband and I hope he enjoys more than me.

oenomel

Note to me: Too smoky sandalwood. Femme fatale kinda scent.

ccoolbaugh

Since this is discontinued, I'm looking for something that smells the same! 😢

Catnipple

To me this is the most addictive Tom Ford vanilla fragrance ever. It's warm, sweet, gourmand, lactonic, mysterious and seductive. I really need them to bring it back i only have one bottle left and it makes me so sad! :(

Wiktoriaaaz

Something about this is almost addictive. Sharp but smooth..? Lightly creamy. Spices and ginger along with a creamy oriental dessert. The kulfi I’m assuming. It is polarising and unconventional, but when wasn’t that Tom Ford anyway. I keep wanting to smell my arm when I spray this. And I’ve been sparing this sample for a whole year because I just don’t know if I need a full bottle of this. A 10ml would be perfect…

msamber86

This starts very sweet and a little musky. I get vanilla and kulfi (a nutty ice cream type of smell) and amber. It’s a beautiful sweetness that isn’t overwhelming or cloying. You feel like a fancy and sophisticated dessert. Then this sweetness mixes with the bitter orange. This combination doesn’t quite work for me. They seem to fight each other rather than meld together. Fortunately this only lasts for a little bit. The ginger and mandarin orange mix with the sweetness, and that is lovely.

Then the florals come in, and it feels like you are on a romantic date at a fancy restaurant. There are beautiful flowers at your candlelit table and you are enjoying dessert after a wonderful meal. It’s warm, comforting, and sophisticated. This smell makes you feel beautiful. The rose is lovely in this and mixes so well with the creamy nutty vanilla smell.

This is a really beautiful and intoxicating scent. I am so bummed that it’s been discontinued.

I’ve never smelled Noir Extreme but Noir Pour Femme smells like a creamy, decadent vanilla chai latte ice cream. It’s blended masterfully. I personally don’t get even a hint of anything rough, masculine, woody or smoky in here. It’s lactonic, sweet, but quite unique and sophisticated- definitely not your typical designer gourmand.
All of that being said, after many years of having this in my collection, I’m decluttering it because this projects for a short amount of time before becoming a very light skin scent on me. This frustrates me to no end as the perfume is so pretty and i just want to keep smelling it!

Kaylovely

The Noir Extreme and this fragrance smell exactly alike. Except the Extreme is a beast and this is softer. I also find this to be more balsamic! Whereas you will find more amber vanilla spiced base for Extreme. Which I prefer! Do not be alarmed by the masculine votes for Extreme. It's almost like boy and girl twins who look exactly alike. Both having long hair, same features. You can't tell them apart.

frederickf_

Similar to Noir Extreme but richer, warmer, sexier, and more intense. There’s something a little dirty here too which gives it a more elegant vibe. Guys can rock this if they don’t mind a slight fem lean. It’s lovely.

tpangel27

Sweet, spicy, smoky, sexy.

jassca99

I already left a beautiful review of this beautiful fragrance a long time ago here. Now that I no longer see this on discounter websites (it’s officially discontinued) after disappearing from retail websites, I want to say Xerjoff Ivory Route unsuspectedly smells really similar to TF Noir Pour femme but more grown and louder. The perfect cozy spice blend without being off-putting and still blended with sweetness. I get the same beautiful cardamom, other indistinct herbs, sandalwood and patchouli but not earthy at all. Ivory Route is more ambery sweet than lactonic sweet like in TF, but both are unique dry-down vanillas with spicy kicks from the shared cardamom. Don’t be scared of the notes listed in Ivory Route because it is part of the JTC line and all the notes are not listed. I mentioned layering Noir Pour femme with Kayali vanilla 28 if you crave even more sweetness and that advice also applies with Ivory Route. Good luck and test to see how it works in your skin.

This is so special, I love it so much!! Spicy, but sweet, sexy and unforgettable!
I wish the projection and longevity were a little bit better on my skin! This is my absolute favorite fragrance and I heard is discontinued

AlinkaSun

I was lucky enough to get a bottle of this right before it got discontinued. When I had a chance, I was sniffing it in department stores for years. But I always found it to be too heavy, too mature and too sweet. But it grew on me last year and I grabbed one 100 ml bottle from Bloomingdales. And I am happy I have it and sad they decided to discontinue.
Tho opening of this perfume can be deceiving. I opens kind of harsh and even medicinal. You get sour and bitter blast of ginger and citruses but in couple minutes that feeling go away and scent softens and becomes sweeter and creamier. I start smelling kulfi, vanilla, white flowers and amber. To be honest I barely can catch the rose note or sandalwood.
So scent is just so edible and gourmand…I absolutely love it. It is also on a darker and heavier side. I would say this is more appropriate for evening and colder weather. Because of its sweetness it can get cloying.
Leans more feminine to me.
This is not safe blind buy. I know Noir Extreme smells somewhat similar to give an idea. It’s definitely worth the money, it has a good performance, it last for 8-10 hours and radiates quite far. If you have a chance to buy it and you smelled Noir Extreme, get it for sure.

coffeebean83

Sad this has been discontinued. :( Beautiful amber floral spice cheese cake like scent. At least I hear the men's extreme is similar & unisex. That might be a future option.

rosey_nosey

I'll take a good dupe at this point. Cuz why Tom Ford, why? This is too good...and I have no more left.

Koko_S

Is there anywhere still to be found in Europe? :(

Keebz

This perfume is a spicy, powdery and semi-sweet perfume that is for the confident woman. The initial blast is powdery but the longer it sits on the skin, the sweeter it becomes. However, I do prefer the Tom Ford Noir Extreme. It is sweeter yet more intense.

est2316

I'm disappointed in this one not gonna lie. I love the extreme one but I felt like it leans just a little more masculine so I was hoping this one will be more sweet/more gourmand. I really hate the opening and I notice that the extreme version is really spicy so I like that better. On the opening I see no similarities but the dry down are very similar. I think noir for femme is a little more soft. Swapping/selling my 3.4 oz bottle. Please PM if interested (US Only)

h_fallata

Am I the only one who feels that the delicious gourmand Kuffi note is not there any more ?

ScentBliss555

I've been having fun collecting perfumes that smell good and have different scent profiles from one another but I hadn't come across one that smelled like what I want others to associate me with until now. This is a full embodiment of what I would like my kids to think of when remembering scent memories of me.

The roaring opening; the quieting restrain, but unsettling drydown all call to me. I feel attached at the hip by this warm yet austere scent. I find this to be a wonderful, empowering, beauty of a perfume!

Aromantra

I blind bought this as it was on sale and here are my initial impressions:

As sprayed on a tester paper strip:
Opens up like a medicinal Christmas candle lit in a Middle Eastern spice market. You get a heavy dose of mastic and a sweetened cinnamon with no florals or citruses at all. As it dries down, you get a tobacco-ish sweet resin and nothing distinctly kulfi or creamy.

On skin:
Starts off slightly more floral now, with a tinge of bitter orange & resinous undertones. A few minutes later - smells sort of like mulled wine in a herbal shop. In the final stages of dry down you get the sweeter kulfi notes, but more like a protein shake kulfi (I detect a sort of dry sour malt note*). Much nicer on skin than on paper/clothing. 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Definitely a unisex winter fragrance. Perhaps not a safe blind buy. It's not bad at all, just not the sensual dark mistress I was hoping for. It layers really well with a simple rose oil and also pairs perfectly with Stella by Stella McCartney.

portlandseattle

Sonia Constant is a genius. Hands down, no doubt about it. I wish I could afford every one of her fragrances. Very little difference between Noir Pour Femme and Noir Extreme except Noir Pour Femme is a tiny bit sweeter and creamier and a bit stronger - which I like !. Both of these are masterpieces. Blind buy both of these you won't be disappointed, and both are unisex. I bought the Noir Pour Femme because it was so close to the Noir Extreme that you really couldn't say "this is much different and more female than the Noir Extreme". Had you handed me a bottle of Noir Pour Femme and told me, "this is the new stronger version of Noir Extreme", I wouldn't have doubted it for a second - the two are that close..

Elysiom

Getting real sick of TF discontinuing their 'best' fragrances. Sure, I could break down how this fragrance is sweet and dark, almost a creme brulee on drydown... but what's the point?

BeatriceSalBus

I'm very happy to have been gifted this bottle for my birthday a few years ago and it's unfortunate it's discontinued now. The men's version, although coming somewhat close, is still different enough that I prefer this one more (but I do love both). The men's version is spicier to my nose, while this is sweeter. It's creamy and sweet and yet unlike fragrances of its category.

Others have already mentioned this to have a femme fetale/mysterious vibe and I'd agree! This is femme fetale embodied: it has a sweetness that is very appealing but it also has something deeper that makes you want to continue to sniff it to discover these hidden facets.

I'll treasure this for as long as I can while I try to find a backup, and while not exactly the same, I do think Noir Extreme is the closest alternative to this.

poppyt.x

If I had to move away and take only 5 perfumes, this one would be coming with me! It's just incredible- creamy, woody, a little sweet. Interestingly enough, I hated it on first sniff. It was a blind buy, and a risky one for the price, so you can imagine my disappointment when the opening wasn't to my taste. It had reminded me in the opening of something my grandma used to wear (My grandma has amazing taste in perfumes and they all smell beautiful on her, but I find them a bit mature-leaning on myself.) I think my problem with it may have been the citrus, which came off as sharp and sour, mingling with something lactonic, and maybe a musky animal note that's not listed.
But within 5 minutes, it softened to the cosiest, warmest, richest gourmand I have ever smelled. I couldn't stop sniffing my wrist! It's reminiscent somehow of white chocolate, slightly powdery in a way, and the orange blossom transforms this into an amazing realistic vanilla cheesecake. I love it so much, it adds a versatility to my collection and I genuinely think there's nothing equivalent.

With that being said, how could they discontinue it!!? I'm just now nearing the end of my bottle and have no idea where to find a reasonably priced replacement. This might be the closest thing to heartbreak I've felt... you know you have a perfume problem when you find yourself grieving it like you've lost a friend.
If anyone has any suggestions on where to find this in the UK, please PM me!!

dearfawn

Intoxicating, alluring femme fatale kind of fragrance. Or smells like an old lady at church depending on your perspective. I don’t really know how to describe the scent but it smells dark and mysterious yet warm and comforting because of a subtle creamy, sweet note (kulfi?). Lasts around 7-8 hours on my skin, doesn’t project much after 4 hours. Not a beast mode fragrance, but it will leave an impression on people since it’s not a popular scent profile right now in the West.

Not a safe blind buy, could be headache inducing. Sometimes the bitter note (mastic? sandalwood?) becomes intolerable to me. At those times it smells like the bottle was spiked with iodine. But when I’m predisposed to wear Noir, I can enjoy how pungent that note is. Weird how the brain works.

My 2020 bottles (batch: A30, AB0) smell soft, powdery, creamy sweet; not as strong/potent as my 2015 bottle (batch: A45) which is more sweet & bitter, spicier (yum), not as powdery. I don’t know if that’s the result of maturation or if Noir was reformulated. Definitely love my 2015 bottle more.

EDIT: 2015 batch dry down is divine, delicious kulfi. 12+ hours and still going. 2020 batch disappeared into a puff of powder after 5 hours.

Catmo

To me, this smells VERY similar to Armani Si Intense. It has the same syrupy fruit note. I'm not sure what is causing that because I assumed in Si Intense it was coming from the blackcurrant syrup. I do not like Si Intense so therefore I'm not a fan of this. Too bad.

Ninalovesclassy

Super sexy and mysterious - if black orchid is gothic and misbehaved for a bar or club, then Noir is the ultimate temptress - a woman who knows what she wants and how to get it, mature and sofisticated, impressive and bold, I imagine myself with a red lipstick when I wore it lastly and oh boy - this is a man magnet and deffinately gives you the perfect amount of confidence.

sofiasofiasofia

This perfume is spicy! I like it a lot but on me (even after a few mins) it still smells spicy. I definitely get the sweet… reminds me of Good Girl just not floral!

Midnight Lady

The opening is suicidal, but hey, that's Ford after all. After a few minutes the scents dries down beautifully though.

I get lactonic (condensed milk kind, almost white chocolate) creamy gourmand with vanilla and pistachios with some amber adding depth.

I imagine it's not for everybody since it's very unusual and unique. I do like it although it's not my kind either. Surely a pleasant change from synthetic caramel overkill gourmands.

perfumewave

I'd say it's a decent gourmand perfume. It's sweet and vanillic, smells like something you can eat. I've never eaten kulfi before but when I checked out the recipe online, I saw that they put nuts in it. I get that nutty scent from this. I can't smell the flowers.

First Impressions (The Impression):
NOTE: I smelled this perfume in stores, or at least when they had it in stores. I bought the rollerball impression of this perfume and it exactly smelled the same to me on skin as it did on the actual perfume. I bought an impression of it on Amazon. Now onto the review.

This perfume is perfect for winter time. It’s warm cozy, and gourmand. I will be honest that men who smelled this perfume on me don’t like it on my body chemistry, but I personally won’t ever stop wearing it. It does give me femme fatale vibes for sure. If you’re looking for a femme fatale vibe this is definitely a good one to try.

Edit 1 (01/06/2024):
This is a warm thick complex perfume that may give some people older woman vibes, but I loved it. I used all of the roller ball of this stuff. Unfortunately, this perfume has sadly been discontinued...what a shame. I will also have to say that after retrying this perfume for the juice has gotten more sweet, or maybe my taste has drastically changed over the years.

Summary:
Smells like: An older femme fatale, complex, sexy, and very sweet.
Family of: None that I've tried
Silage: Medium-Strong (The rollerball version)

Verdict: Pass- I won't be buying any of Tom Fords perfumes due to them being:
1. Way to overpriced considering the longevity and the silage is known to be terrible..
2. After they come out they will eventually be duped.
3. This perfume is discontinued.
4. This is very much a wintery perfume, and I unfortunately get to have frigid winter very rarely.

fensismeksi

OMG this is soooooo good. Warm, sweet, sexy. I am obsessed!!!

Milkydream

I've been fascinated with acquiring this one ever since I first laid my nose on noir extreme. As a gourmand lover, this naturally was on my radar. I prefer this one far more than it's counterpart.

Smoother, creamier and a much better opening in my opinion. The ginger may be the culprit for keeping it smooth. Very unisex. If you'd rather have a sharper opening (gave me a bit of a dryer sheet kinda vibe) go for extreme.

Sillage and projection are average. I don't know if I'm going noseblind to extreme but I definitely feel pour femme sticks around longer on my skin.

Highly recommended! Perfect cold weather scent.

meama

Vanilla and a bitter mastic note, it could have been an original new "oriental" note but it's all about a loud commercial vanilla sprinkelled with a tiny touch of originality just for the facade and make believe that there is something extraordinary but without doing the effort to really make a new classic. Mweuh...😒

Nourhan

The opening was so strong, but if you are a tom ford fan you’d know that’s normal, and then it started to settle and oh man! The dry down is AMAZING! So luxurious and elegant! I never smelled something like it before! And that’s the best thing about tom ford! His perfumes are unique and beautiful. After it settled I honestly couldn’t stop sniffing my hands. A beautiful vanilla scent mixed with something sexy! Perfect for date nights...I LOVE IT

perfumesniffer

I really love this scent, but there is no projection and the longevity is 2-3 hours on me.

This is a predominantly woody scent. It's woody first and remains woody throughout. At the start there’s a tiny discernible element of ginger which disappears within an hour. I get the kulfi-vanilla most in the dry down and it smells to me like a softy spiced custard/pudding or melted room temperature ice cream on a bed of ambery-wood. It’s definitely unisex.

I really love this scent but I need to use 10 sprays to get 3 hours. If this was beast mode it would be within my top 10 of all time. But it's not.

stalal

This is sweet and delicious (very realistic Kulfi smell unlike Noir/Extreme for men where Kulfi is barely there).
On my skin it turns very lactonic/Milk like smell which is unusual. On my clothes it smells more soapy clean amber. That soapy zing is coming from Ginger, citruses and orange blossom I believe. Kulfi jumps out more on skin than on clothes,. For people who dont know what Kulfi smells like, think of it as Pistachio and cardamom mixed with creamier milk.

Purrplealien

Pour Femme has both the perfect amount of sweetness and "darkness" I'm looking for in a perfume.

It's a shame this is being discontinued because I feel confident, strong and "grown-up" wearing this fragrance.

lynnphi

Hmm. I feel like this is a relationship I know I will ultimately be infatuated with, but at the moment I'm being overly critical on all fronts. The opening is very similar to me of Elizabeth and James Nirvana Black - a blast of violet with a boozy and dark sandalwood component. I love EJ but it had a cheap, commercial vibe to it that I didn't like, and to boot my skin was allergic to it. Scentwise, though, I love this phase, Then comes the ambery drydown. I realize now that amber - from Kayali to hippie perfume oils to Serge Lutens Ambre - presents itself on my skin chemistry (and my olfactory recollection) sometimes comes through as baby powder, which I do get some of here.

After several hours - the lasting effect is nothing other than the beautiful, soft and true jasmine of Alien EDP. I wore Alien for years but stopped after smelling it on more than one too many women. But the reminder of Alien in Noir Pour Femme is like a cosmic nod that this may be one of my top favorites as a reinterpretation of a long ago love.

UPDATE: My how perspective can change as I'm revisiting this review a year later! I am so, so, so fortunate to have listened to the sage advice of fellow Fragrantica forum members who encouraged me to blind buy this. I am realizing now what a great investment it is. It is sweet, addictive amber. If you loved Revlon Fire and Ice, Revlon Ici, BBW Sensual Amber, or VS Amber Romance, then I would absolutely pick this up - it's a sophisticated and unique version of these types. 10/10

princesslopez4890

Yes it has been discontinued and very hard to find I just so happened to snag one on FragranceNet but they only have a few so I hope it actually makes it to me!

Thegrimmreaderr

@ms. Monicka it has been discontinued or is being reformulated per tom ford reps via email and Instagram. Either way it is htf and pulled from shelves so what do you think that means?? 🧐🤔🙄😒

spiceysauce5

Compared to the men's version....This one has a pear-like sweetness added in that makes it a touch more designery, whereas the masculine version is a bit spicier and more unique but also a bit more out there. Has a subtle touch of that vibe when tea gets too strong and becomes a bit sharp. That being said, i like that unique twist and therefore prefer the masculine version, both for both genders.

Shammy275

One of my all time favourites, so sad to see it’s being discontinued, I can’t seem to find a backup bottle anywhere online (in Europe, anyway) :( I just bought a new 100ml two months ago, looks like I’m just going to have to savour it for as long as I can. I must get my hands on a sample of noir extreme and see how it compares, I hear the dry down is very similar but the opening isn’t as sharp as pour femme

Sugarpoiso

I haven't tried this yet but I bought 2 bottles this week because it's peaked my interest. Now I'm hearing it's discontinued. All of this to say that I've seen this on Fragrancenet.com, Cosbar,, and ecosmetics if lovers of this Fragrance want to snatch up a few bottles and not pay the ridiculous prices people are charging on Mercari and resale sites already.

*loves_shoes*

Love this, I got it as an 8ml sample as part of a monthly subscription (you choose the fragrance you want each month) literally only 2 months ago, and I’m devastated that it’s discontinued and I can’t find a full bottle!
Sweet, vanilla, a bit spicy de peppery to stop it being boring, maybe a touch boozy although it’s not listed…. Perfect.
If it’s not discontinued (mixed emails from TF judging by the comments below) then maybe they are changing the packaging or reformulating…it seems strange that it was half price on the TF UK website, and it’s not to be found anywhere….
Glad I have my little sample.

Edit: I found a bottle!! This is fast becoming one of my all time favourites. There’s literally nothing I don’t like, it’s sexy as hell, and when I wear it I can’t stop smelling it.

CCC1

I adore this fragrance. It’s dark, and sexy and sweet and just totally gorgeous. It has been discontinued though. I emailed Customer Services on the Tom Ford website to ask. I guess I’ll have to find a back up bottle and then get into Noir Extreme more!

AnaMaria97

I blind bought this even though so many reviews recommended not to. I should have listened! But I'm glad I got to experience this anyway, especially with risk of it being discontinued.
To me, this starts as an initial blast of vintage peppery spices, definitely unisex. The middle stage is dusty chocolate-covered spices. Then finally, after about an hour, the gourmand vanilla drydown (the kulfi.) For me I don't enjoy the journey it takes to get to this stage.
Modern Muse Nuit shares the same vanilla note and is more feminine in my opinion. But this is definitely femme fatale category and can see why people love it.

ppalm

i just discovered this fragrance and I love this fragrance so much! It's the most comforting and cuddly scent. The Kulfi is everything with the ginger.

Its no longer listed on tom ford's website. its also impossible to find at any retailer. i don't believe this is just an availability issue, because if it was, wouldn't it just say Out of Stock on Tom Fords own website? So, my conclusion is it is probably in fact being discontinued or maybe reformulated? Who knows? All I know is I feel the need for a backup.

Guccilove

This is perfect ladies and gentlemen. I would like to meet a woman who bores this. The opening drink and kulfi are provocative. You can never refuse.

ms.moniczka

I sent message to customer service and that is what they reply: Thank you for your interest. Noir Pour Femme has not been discontinued, but availability may be limited at this time. Please visit tomfordbeauty.co/STORELOCATOR to inquire directly at a TOM FORD BEAUTY near you. SO IT'S NOT DISCONTINUED.
Edit: I have contacted Tom Ford through Instagram and emailed official website and they give me mixed replies. Unfortunately it might be discontinued or maybe they going to reformulate this fragrance.

u24masonl

This is gorgeous. On me, the kulfi note is definitely strongest. This is boozy, sweet, creamy, woody, a touch spicy, and drizzled in honey. It's very characteristic of Tom Ford's perfumes in its depth, maturity and sexiness, but this slightly safer and more feminine than the likes of Black Orchid and Tobacco Vanille (which I also own and adore). This is a perfect 'first' TF purchase. Definitely an evening winter perfume, but a crowd pleaser. I received a sample as part of my perfume subscription package, and immediately bought a bottle.

cemrezozturk

it’s been discontinued. last week i sent them a mail about this perfume and they’ve just sent a mail today. they said ‘ We are sorry to say the Noir Pour Femme has been discontinued, and as such we will not be receiving an inventory replenishment; we understand this may be disappointing.’ i wanna cry :(((. i’ve just bought a 50 ml bottle. im gonna buy some bottles too.

orangelips11

Noir Extreme and Noir Pour femme are very similar scent, Noir Pour femme just more floral scent than Noir Extreme,
and Noir Extreme is more spicy, both are fabulous perfume just depends on what you like more

Kkardaper

I recently tried Noir Extreme and fell in love, while considering buying a whole bottle I found Tom Ford Noir Pour Femme. I immediately ordered samples from micro microperfumes to compare both and decide which is a better purchase. My verdict has come and...I want both. While many say they are very similar I am going to have to disagree. Pour Femme is far more boozy than Noir Extreme, at opening I was immediately reminded by one of my grandmothers vintage fragrances. There is something so unique yet classic about it that draws you in further. Someone mentioned a B.O. note and I must admit I did get an unusually tangy note that hit my nose wrong. It vanished with the dry down and blossomed into a much more softer powdery vanilla. On me I think it turns into a baby power note which is unusual but I love it none the less. I would say that compared to Noir Extreme, Pour Femme is more of a night scent. I can't wait to buy a bottle and live out my femme fatale fantasy while wearing a black dress and knee high boots to a bar.

ArrrDee

The one that started it all. One of my favorites cold weather fragrances. Someone below said it smells like B.O. I don't smell that at ALL... Dry down is a boozy, rich, delicious vanilla dessert (guess that's the kulfi?). Seriously spray this on a tester strip and set it in another room then walk in later. The projection is beautiful.

So many people spray it and then judge it based off the top notes without waiting for that gorgeous drydown.

Rosemary14

I remember smelling this years ago. Back then I thought this smelled so masculine. Today I still think it smells a bit masculine or like a girl boss. It’s a rich, dark, spicy, amber oriental fragrance. It reminds me a little of a middle eastern fragrance. Like almost every Tom Ford it speaks of effortlessly chic and sexy personality.

Wwoman

On me this begins with a super off-putting note, but after about 1-2 minutes that settles down a bit. Upon dry down, I certainly get the amber and a little ginger. I also would swear there's a chocolate/coffee note, but maybe it's my imagination. I generally adore sandalwood added to milky/lactonic scents, and there is some of this but not a lot. Also, while sweet is the first accord, I actually don't think this is super sweet - I've tried many straight up sugar bombs as fragrances and hated every single one. My confusion comes as, what makes this different from Black Orchid? I know I am smelling the correct thing because I have a carded sample from TF directly that is correctly labeled on the vial. I like Black Orchid (not enough to but a bottle) but I'm at a loss as to how this could possibly be significantly different.... Anyhoosies, it's not for me. Perhaps a true gourmand would be able to discern and appreciate the subtle differences between these two fragrances, but I'm just not that girl.

MeekMills

This fragrance is absolutely gorgeous, sexy, deep, sensual, sweet. I think it can be unisex however it definitely leans more feminine. This to me is a safe blind buy if you love vanilla and spice. It’s not super spicy but it has a little kick to it. The only down side is that it doesn’t last as long as I would like!

It’s very intoxicating! Very pretty and a must buy.

Lemxx

Definjtely sexy femme fatale fragrance. I think it’s unisex but it gives me more femme fatale vibe. It’s sensual and perfect for a dinner night! But why the longevity is poor just why??!!!

Kansas city

this is a UNISEX fragrance...

Punkrockbebop

I got an older batch bottle in a trade, which seems to be stronger and longer lasting than a newer batch bottle I tried, which had been really weak, with longevity issues. I’m convinced it’s best to buy some perfumes as close to the launch year as possible, before they become altered. This older batch is so strong that one spray divided between two wrists would be more than enough.

I was dismayed to get a heavy dose of ISO-e “pencil shavings” in the opening which dominated the whole scent for a while, but this was soon joined by a weird, synthetic gelatinous rose milk pudding scent, with a lot of condensed milk and a big hit of vanilla, cardamom, cinnamon and ginger. While that sounds potentially good, it was actually quite synthetic and very overwhelming at this point of the development, that I almost gave up on it and scrubbed.

The notes combine much better in the drydown, however, as the sandalwood goes more powdery and natural, becomes quite beautiful and rounds out the other notes into something more naturalistic and desert-like. The sandalwood is really quite pleasant in this.

The problem for me, then, becomes that sweet milkiness, which I have to admit, is sickening and makes me ill. I think that milky chemical needs to be well balanced or it tends to overwhelms whole compositions. I wish this worked for me, but it just doesn’t.

orangelips11

This juice is absolutely stunning, I can wear it everyday in the fall and winter, love it so much

Sillya

Noir pour femme is so so sexy. It opens up with creamy sandalwood and vanilla mixed with a lot of spices. As the time goes by, it becomes sweeter and sweeter, with the emphasis being on the rich, warm vanilla.

It has good lasting power, not great, but the scent that remains on my skin after 5ish hours is just as yummy. I haven't eaten kulfi before, but if npf smells how kulfi tastes, I will have to try it for sure!

This screams boss lady to me. When I wear it I feel like I could rule the world. To me it is mostly a autumn/winter night scent though. It could be too much in the warmer weather and could possibly choke people out.

I'm so glad I found a bottle before it was taken of the market where I live (I don't know if this is getting discontinued worldwide or just here). Would definitely recommend trying a sample.

Scandal1

I smelled this today and I was shocked coz I confused this with another beautiful sent from the noir series and thought that what I smelled back at the duty free was this one..nope not this and I dnt get how people would love this one and why unless what I smelled is fake!

Lindenagr

I'm not sure what I'm smelling but I hope I wasn't sold a fake. How everyone is smelling "creamy and sweet" is beyond me - all I get is bitter, dry, spicy old lady smell. I purchased a sample of this and could hardly wear it more than 5 minutes because of how nauseating it was. Definitely NOT how I want to smell. I feel like I'm crazy because everyone else seems to love this in their reviews.

Soccergreat88

This is a nice scent with a many notes coming off the first spray. After it settles down, I get a really strong rose scent with powder. To me, it's a little grandma-ish and limited occasions to wear it but otherwise a beautiful scent. Lasts well on skin and only medium projection

silverma

When I saw the notes, I thought I would like this, so I got a sample size. But, I unfortunately only smell a bitter orange/ginger punch at first spray and barely a hint of kulfi in the dry down...sadly, nothing else. A powerful first spray and then a quick dry down where I can't smell anything on my skin . I smell notes when sprayed on paper though :(

melekd200

It opens quite sharp and bitter. I felt some boozy notes from the first spray to the end. Also, I get too bitter note that I could not understand. It isn't bitter orange or other citrusy notes. I guess the reason is that the combination of citrusy notes and ginger with kulfi dessert. I like a bit more when it dries down. Overall, I was very excited to try this fragrances before I buy but it disappointed me. I think it is overrated.

Smell: 4/10

Longevity: 710

Sillage: 5/10

eleninanou94

SAFE BLIND BUY OR GIFT!
I just regret I didn't purchase a larger bottle.
Appealing to the majority, very sensual with character but not too much out there. Just the right amount of sexy. Not too mature in my opinion, I get mostly lady in her 30s, in black attire, on a date or out with friends for a cocktail vibes.
Sweet but doesn't suffocate you.
I also get a litte bit of a pepper note but it must be the ginger. Very well balanced overall.
Moderate projection (but I'm afraid were it stronger it would make it unbereable for some noses),
Moderate to nearly no Longetivity.

One of my top 3 in the moment.

Wiktoriaaaz

Hmm wow interesting.. I got a 10ml of this due to the mixed reviews. I definitely don’t hate it. And I was terrified of this as I don’t like any other Tom fords. This is quite unique as all Tom fords seem to share that trait, but this is definitely feminine and less aggressive than most other TF fragrances. First blast it is a bit in your face but after a few minutes I truly can tell the spicy cheesecake comparisons. It’s really delicious on the skin on dry down.
Initial blast you can really smell the bitter orange and ginger overpowering the perfume, even I initially thought of kayali invite only which I can now see is in the comparisons, now it’s settled I get a slight creaminess from the kulfi accompanied by the vanilla. Can also smell the amber and very slightly the rose too. No more kayali and it is more Nero absoluto, however, I didn’t like that one, this is much better blended with a delicious aspect that the Roberto cavalli doesn’t have!

Really great scent! I don’t think I’ll be buying a full bottle for now, but I’ll enjoy my decant!!!

Update 10hrs after spraying and I can still smell it on my skin, for reference NOTHING EVER LASTS ON ME! This is really addictive. It’s gotten really cold in the U.K. suddenly and this works so well for this weather, I’ve worn it 2 days in a row now

Kikie

This is great as a Fall signature scent. I got a really good complement on this. A guy chased me down at a function to ask me what I was wearing. He was desperate to know. It's really sexy I must say, grown woman sweet and sexy.

ladyjb

This is.. Just ok. Not what I would call sweet. I get boozy, tangy, balamic chocolate.. Not unpleasant but definitely not what I was expecting based off the notes and the reviews. So glad I didn't blind buy this. Silage is also quite poor.

chimidoro

ADDICTIVE.
Inky. Woody. Creamy vanilla.
Lasts all day.

Alongside Hypnotic Poison & The Body Shop's original Vanilla, Poison Girl and Givenchy's Organza as one of my top favourite vanilla scents.

This is a sweet & sultry, sophisticated vanilla.

Editing to sadly add that a lamp wire caught my bottle and sent it toppling, the sprayer snapped clean off along with some of the glass, the perfume soaked into my hardwood floor and scented everything. I cannot abide the smell of this scent anymore. One spray would be plenty and lasted me all day, so imagine the strength of nearly 50ml on your floor....

am_xo

If I could wear this everyday I would but it is only good during the fall/winter/nighttime. This is my favorite fragrance I’m probably going to wear this everyday during this time of year. It is mainly a sexy grown up vanilla and kulfi scent, with a spicy and slightly orange beginning but it does not last long which I’m quite happy about because I don’t like spicy or orange perfumes that much. I can’t see a man wearing this as it is too vanilla and sweet but I can’t tell anyone what they can and can’t wear this smells so damn good you’ll always get compliments.

Gugz

This is an Aries woman in a bottle 🔥

mo choudhury

Noir Extreme is a kulfi with sprinkle's of saffron.
pour femme, is a kulfi with a drizzle of jasmine and rose water. 🍦😋

Kaylovely

The male version hits different with that saffron but this is beautiful little sister that may be queen if she takes her brother out.

Lilly44

This isnt dark and mysterious type of fragrance. Its warm, sweet and addictive. If it was more long lasting it would be PERFECT. Still my favorite<3

jassca99

Have had this bottle for over a year going to two years and I can say this is a very addicting smell. Rainbowgirl hit it on the nail. Its a fun cycle of constantly respraying not because it’s weak. But because it’s so cozy and you just want to keep reapplying to get that opening of bakery spices/ ginger zingy-ness then the scent settles to a smooth, warm, vanilla milk with residual nutmeg/cardamom melted in (the kulfi). So delicious.

Project Nostalgia

Wow. Another instant love for me. I was lusting after Black Orchid (which I also ended up purchasing) but I smelled this on a tester strip and just had to have it. It's the epitome of an addictive scent. Noir is the perfect name for this. Nothing light or airy about it, it is decadent, spicy and smells like money. I don't think this is too heavy, on me it sits quite close to the skin so I tend to spray it on my clothes to get more lasting power. Would be interested to try Noir Extreme to see if it projected more.

lavender_wind.

I too blind bought this perfume and am absolutely loving it :)

To my nose, it is spicy (ginger), fruity (the top citrus notes are prominent), and deliciously dark (the kulfi note is creamy, along with the unique vanilla, mastic and sandalwood combo). It is both fresh and mysterious...

I love it so much that I'm wearing it in the summer ;)

Well done Tom Ford and Sonia Constant!

RSB28

I blind bought this. When I first tried this, I really didn’t like it, but that is because I wasn’t used to wearing such spicy scents. It took a few wears before I really enjoyed this. Perfect cold weather scent, looking forward to wearing this all the time in autumn. Definitely smells like money and considering this isn’t extortionately priced, seems like a bargain.

lzak

I WOW fragrance for me. Smells sexy and expensive. Wish it lasted longer but don’t mind carrying a decant. Best for cooler months and evening. Well blended and beautiful. Love the kulfi note. Always want this to be in my collection.

itsallaboutmega

This is a sexy scent. I use it mainly on cold winter date nights. It has an amazing staying power and people will definitely notice you. You can smell this on clothes for many days.

Pilikins

I am so happy to have got this - I have been thinking about for it a long time. I compared it to the Extreme version and decided on this because I think it is smoother. I love the opening which is spicy and chocolatey- very noir, compared to the Extreme version which opens with a bright neroli citrus accord, almost like cologne before becoming deeper. The Femme version moves quickly to the kulfi and floral phase which is just enchanting and feels so indulgent. The florals have that slightly narcotic and fleshy feel that I also get in Cafe Rose which makes the fragrance feel sensual and enveloping whilst not overly sweet. The noir aspect pervades throughout and I feel the presence of dark coffee even though it isn’t listed. However it is created, the impression is quite strong for me - perhaps it is the amber. However there is no bitterness at all - this is one cosy, smooth and elegant perfume- a black cashmere dress! Love

RainbowGirl

I found this on sale, and because the notes sounded so interesting and lovely, I went ahead and blind purchased.

I have only sprayed this on a card, but it smells very... green? And not a good fresh green. A dry green! Maybe it's spice I am smelling? I sure hope so!

I just sprayed Delina Exclusive all over me, right before the package arrived, so I WILL try this on my skin later, and update my review.

Fingers crossed!

Edited to add: It's Ginger!

Good Golly, that opening smelled weird on paper. On my skin... I like it. It is a VERY strong fresh ginger. Which is normally a difficult fragrance note for me to pick out, but boy, there is no problem for me here. If there are citrus notes in the opening, they are very well blended, or hidden to my nose.

Once the ginger opening fades a little, this starts to remind me of a ginger tea, a little sweet, a little spicy.

Then it starts to get creamy. This is when I really start to love this fragrance. I love that spicy sweet cream scent aura.

I am pleased. I am not sure I would have purchased this perfume based on the opening. Although I liked it, I didn't love it. I'm not a fan of ginger in any of it's forms, and it felt a little masculine, although I am not sure why.

However, I do like being surprised, and this fragrance did surprise me. And I do love the scent aura it creates around me.

I have a feeling this is one of those scents I will grow to love, and then grow to crave.

Edited to add: I was right. I love it, and I crave it.

Sometimes when I observe a new fragrance, I am so intent on picking out all the individual notes, thst I don't actually enjoy it as a whole. So, for some fragrances, I have to wear them a few times before it's a love or hate. Sure, some are instant loves, and some are instant hates, but there are a few great fragrances that are right in the middle. That is what this fragrance was to me... at first.

Today, I found myself waking up wanting to smell like Tom Ford Noir Pour Femme. I found myself excited to finish my dog walk, because I knew I could shower and spray this all over me.

I love this scent most when I am not paying attention. At first I get that sharp spicy ginger, which I grew to love, but when it settles, it warms into a delicious creamy spicy ice cream, and I love the surprise of that sweet creamy and spicy fragrance aura around me.

The problem is, I will run out of this fragrance super duper fast. I love to reapply this fragrance, when it settles to that ice cream stage, so I can get that sharp spicy ginger fragrance on top....and start the whole process over again. So unbelievably good!

So... yeah, I need all the bottles.

Thank you.

Dreamscents

A spicy, sexy, warm jasmin and vanilla scent. Addicting, edible and cool. I imagine high heels, black clothes and make up with eyeliner. She is a little mysterious.

Ruby Galore

It’s 26 degrees outside, I put it on my wrist, it melted mmmm, like chocolate.
It’s indescribable, to me it’s just like bitter dry chocolate and a little wood.
Wonderful.
I want that! :)

ELR

I purchased this blind after hearing so many positive reviews and to be honest, it was not love at first sniff. With that being said, it QUICKLY won me over. It is unlike any other scent in my collection. It has a rounded spicy woodiness, especially in the beginning but as it dries down the florals then vanilla amber sweetness take the forefront. Overall it is such a well balanced scent. Woody, spicy, floral, sweet with no notes competing for attention. Although I don't think it is a safe blind buy I'm happy the only available size when I purchased was the biggest ;)

hsiangchi.huang

Noir Pour Femme is more floral than Noir Extreme, and Noir Extreme is more spicy. Neither are gourmand to me since they're not sweet. And no, it's not necessarily to have both unless you REALLY love the scent.

Dissolved_Mind

Love love love! What a unique, deep, dark gem. I don't detect any citruses at all, it's straight aromatic, sweet kulfi, vanilla, jasmine. Very sweet. Noir is a perfect name for this scent. It feels fancy and sophisticated

blossomka

8/10. Gourmand sweet. Fruity black currant vanilla. Probably my favorite Tom Ford scent. Unobtrusive. A little laid back. Balanced and easy to wear. Lasts a long time, over 8 hours. My husband smells pineapple.

SmellsLikeMoneyWellSpent

Resinous, peppery vanilla. I know it’s ginger but for me it sounds like pepper in the opening.

Where are the citruses? Bitter orange, mandarine, bergamot - did they go to buy cigarettes and never come back?
Something bitterly floral shows up in the middle of the party, and finally balsamic woodiness takes over.

Do I like it? Yes I do. Do I like it enough to pay the price? Nope.

This bottle came to me in the multiple exchange process and it’s on the way out. Cool to try, too generic to stay IMO. But I understand why it is so loved and hyped, yet I can achieve the effect using my other, more wallet-friendly frags.
Seriously, just layer some generic vanilla with some peppery amber and You get the gist for a fraction of the price.

mirnam

It amazes me how many women actually love this scent! To me it was way too spicy and masculine. Not even a youthful masculine scent but rather old man cologne masculine. Something about it made me really nauseous. Definitely not a safe blind buy.

ariellecoambes

I wonder how many of the reviews that call this perfume too masculine let it dry down. The opening is heavy on the tobacco and coffee, but the drydown is exquisitely feminine - gourmand, salted caramel, with the smallest hint of the masculine scents that keep it from causing a headache. It's truly beautiful. Give the scent 30 more minutes before assessing and you'll enjoy it for hours.

Phemia

I prefer Noir over Black Orchid because it's less of an overwhelming spice bomb but I don't like it more than Velvet Orchid. In it's opening I get heavy licorice or anise notes and some incense. The ginger is there but it's not a loud ginger note, I mostly get the zingy spiciness of ginger more than the actual scent of it. The vanilla and amber are distinguishable but rather subtle, particularly the vanilla. I find that I smell more of a black currant fruitiness than the citrus notes this has listed. The rose is subtle, the white florals are deep at the bottom. The mastic, while noticeable, gives off a very piney wood note. It's sweet all the way from beginning to end, not terribly so, but enough that I think this leans more feminine-unisex than masculine - a woman's power fragrance if you will.

Definitely a warm scent best for cold fall and winter seasons. I find it could work for both day or night, and if it lasted longer I'd say it could take you from brunch to date night but unfortunately the longevity is pretty bad. It goes on quite strong with some decent sillage but man does it fade quickly (within 2-3 hours max) and when it does it leaves behind a sweet, vanilla barely-there skin scent. I hate to say this, but as with the past 3-4 TF fragrances I've tried, it just goes rancid on my skin. There's some kind of bad chemistry that happens between me and TF scents that ends up smelling really off after it dries down. I tried it on a bit of a colder day but I'll keep this one on the back burner until deep winter when it's much colder and cross my fingers it works better for me then.

Aikipy

This is such a stunning fragrance! I’m in heaven! It’s spicy, but in a gourmand sweet way, like an oriental dessert. It’s like what the outside of a pastry shop from UAE would smell, but if they also had flowers growing at the door if that makes sense. It doesn’t smell overly spicy-gourmand, just a whiff, and it all blends so well with the flowers.

Everything is so well blended, it’s very difficult to distinguish certain notes. At least to my untrained nose :)

It’s on the sweet side, so if you don’t like sweet scents I don’t think you’ll like this, but I still advise to at least try it out, it’s an unique experience!

Definitely makes all of my designer perfumes smell cheap and synthetic/fake :))

Lolapoop

heavy ,dark short lasting and suffocating . More masculine than many real masculline frags. There is no depth and dimetions here. no mystery . I would wear it to the funeral if someone had held gun to my head. . Blind buy after reading reviews here and big regret.
Zoe101 ,down below compered it to a smell of a person who is trying to use heavy scent to cover up strong body odour . She pinpoited it.

silviyakovacheva96

A dark, sensual, mysterious veil of decadence. I absolutely adore TF Noir. This is my signature not because I wear it everyday (and you shouldn’t, as it would be disrespectful towards the perfume itself), but because it makes me feel the most sensual, beautiful, ready to rule panther at her best. Definitely sweet, and as many other users have suggested, has a masculine nuance to it that amplifies the femininity of it to me. It is an aphrodisiac in a beautiful Art Deco bottle. The warm spice, amber and sandalwood are dominant on my skin, but are very beautifully intertwined. A scent to seduce, it empowers the woman that wears it.

katheryne_art

I know so many women absolutely loves this perfume, but for me this is way too strong and masculine! If you like perfumes that leans more unisex, or even masculine, you might like this one. To me, it's just too sharp, dark, spicy and overwhelming as my nose even hurts when I smell it...

Madina.Nurmur

Whoa! To me this smells like Dubai. Oriental, sweet, spicy, woody, luxurious. It’s marketed as feminine, however I find it very unisex.
I think this fragrance demands an elegant, posh look to go along with. More night time scent IMO. Unfortunately, doesn’t last very long on my skin.

loislane007

I love this scent. Despite how sweet and strong this scent is however it has poor lasting power and you have to reapply every 3 hours or so. Doesn’t last on clothes either. Not a huge convenience I guess but for the price I would expect better lasting power

Charlize2014

I loved this perfume, I did receive a lot of compliments. Every time I would put this on, my mood will get better, it’s sexy, sweet but not your teenage cupcakes vibe, smells like an expensive candle, I love the vanilla and incense in it. The biggest problem it was that it won’t last more then 2 hrs and you need to reapply... which is a shame, I miss this perfume so much, I might buy it again just for the good mood it gave me :)

john_borgia_

HOT TIP!.......layer this with noir anthracite and royal oud by creed ........(.I just revealed a secret from a biiiiiiiiiig designer)....you thank me later mates...

jonisi3

I like it, but it is not a love. I find it to be a smoky-warm-vanillic, which is nice, but my hope was that it would have the more prominent Kulfi smell. Perhaps on my skin that particular note does not emerge strongly. So would be curious if others get more of a sense of the ginger and kulfi. :)

Kanutten

Noir Pour Femme - Absolute love.

Addictive, intoxicating, warm and very well balanced. Normally I'm hesitant to any perfume that lists ginger, but everything is so well blended here, nothing sticks out and everything is just smooth. The lighter notes just lifts up the whole composition. I honestly get quite a noticeable tobacco smell, even though tobacco is not listed in the notes. Tobacco is a smell I've loved since I was a child, but Tobacco Vanille is just too masculine for me. This is sooo much better. Longevity is great. Still present on the skin the next day.

The perfumer has done a great job on this one. The cliched word masterpiece comes to mind.
I am also a huge fan of Noir Extreme, the men's version, which I think is equally great, but I find the Pour Femme a bit more versatile, as it has some more uplifting elements to it. But both are absolutely fantastic perfumes and I don't think that one is better than the other.

Wizard Rev Hunt

I smelled Noir Pour Homme years ago and then smelled this one and chose the pour femme.

I'm a man, not that it matters. But what captured me here in this femme is the Shalimar like Vanilla/Amber/Sandalwood that is the base of it. It has a warmth, but a feminine, enveloping, loving embrace that is both classic and affectionate.

This is a scent that you can wear both day and night, and especially during cooler days. It has an elegant air to it that seems suited for dressier times.

There are citrus and flowery notes in here, perhaps to lighten them but I don't detect them the way I do with the strong Vanilla/Amber/Sandalwood that dominates TFPF.

The men's version lacks the uplifting notes that one finds in pour femme.

Fraghag7

Finally a TF that is wearable (for me). I had high hopes for Tobacco Vanille and Shanghai Lily but although they were both lovely, I did not want to wear them as a fragrance. This however is a beauty! I don't consider this a beast mode fragrance, this has the vibe I was hoping for Carrier le Baiser Du Dragon. This is a sexy, powdery, mature yet modern Perfume. Not necessarily dark and seductive (imo) but does seem mysterious. Doesn't necessarily smell warm but does give me cozy vibes and I can't stop sniffing myself. This is non offensive and although it's probably best suited for special occasions I think people could wear this anywhere, any time. I really love this! I would almost say this a safe blind buy, only warning is if you love the typical TF in your face Perfume, you may be disappointed.

Lazarelle

Noir Pour Femme is a pleasant, creamy ginger-and-vanilla scent that has a sillage and longevity that is good, but not great. The ginger and orange notes are very pronounced at the opening. After a few hours it dries down to mostly vanilla - it's nice, but not exquisite or dark like the name suggests, and not enough to persuade me to purchase a bottle. At the end of the day, or at the end of an evening, even the vanilla is barely detectable.

I bought a tester expecting that I would love this, especially because of the described kulfi note. (I'm of South Asian heritage and love kulfi.) I don't know what it is about Tom Ford fragrances - I want to like them, partly because the name and brand is synonymous with modern luxury, but I always end up feeling a bit 'meh' when I actually wear them.

I think I'm sort of underwhelmed by the boozy-powdery note that all Tom Ford perfumes seem to have...and it's present here as well. I don't dislike it, exactly, but I'm not really a fan either. What comes to mind is the fragrance equivalent of a glossy magazine photo that I would admire for a second and then flick past, and forget. Fairly pleasant, but has no depth or lasting interest for me.

Perhaps NPF underwhelms by comparison. There are other, delicious vanilla-dominant fragrances I am really in love with at the moment - namely Mon Guerlain and Valentino Donna Born in Roma (the former especially is in a class of its own).

The kulfi note here, I find a bit disappointing - kulfi is denser and more flavourful than ice cream, and it needs to be much more present for this fragrance to stand out. I would expect a hint of cardamom mixed in with the vanilla for it to actually seem like kulfi, and not just randomly lactonic.

I think the ginger is trying to do too much work here to connote something 'spicy', but really, it isn't. It's just ginger.

MmeDePompadour

This is my next purchase ! I fell in love
Wirh Noir Extreme years ago but I never realized it was so close to Noir Femme

I have only smelled about 50% of Tom Ford’s fragrances and the ones that stuck to mind were Noir de noir / Noir extreme/Japon noir/White Patchouli/Black Orchid/Velvet Orchid
Soleil blanc - I realize there is an odd black noir white blanc going on....

cathrinejohanne91

Oh wow!

This is such a great scent!

Ok so this is sweet, woody, spicy and it has a pinch of freshness in the opening. The freshness stays on for about 10-15 minutes, then the sweet, woody and spicy scent is coming through. And it’s the perfect blend between sweet, spicy and woody. This is definitely a “grownups” sweet perfume. It’s so sophisticated and delicious. I don’t get much of the flowers on my skin. This is the perfect fall/winter scent. I will probably use this in the summer as well!
But the longevity is not the best it’s around 3-4 hours on my skin. And the sillage is a good arms length in the first hour but then it becomes more of an skin scent.. But in my opinion this doesn’t bother me, because it’s just too good to be offended by that. Smell it and you will love this.

Joseph78

Looking at the notes, I was intrigued by this scent and not quite sure how it would smell.

Is nice... on the dry down, it does however smell like the original Imperial Leather soap! Truly it does, I do love the smell of imperial soap but, not sure I want it in a perfume. I'm intrigued to know if anyone else thinks it smells of imperial leather?

pamplemousse2

Oh wow, this is yummy yet mature. I get the creamy, yet at the same time spicy (like cardamom and saffron), kulfi coming through. It's not sweet in the sense of fruity or cotton candy sweetness, it's more like a deep, rich, milky sweetness. It's definitely got some heaviness and darkness to it, but isn't brooding, perhaps more seductive. There is a hint of rose and vanilla to it as well. I can see the 'noir' aspect to it, though with some 'optimistic' sweetness.

I can smell it definitely within arm's length and strongly within 4" of my skin. I remember slightly overspraying Black Orchid and getting a stomach ache from it, so I've tried a slightly lighter hand this time, so projection might be even better if you put on more.

10 minutes later and it does seem to have already lost a bit of projection and strength. Hard to tell if it's because of my not applying a ton of it, or as previous reviewers have mentioned, having not as good longevity. The scent, however, is mostly the same, but sandalwood is coming out more.

This is dark, sweet, and creamy. I could see the 'femme fatale' aspect to it. Vanilla ice cream with pistachio and some warmth.

20 minutes later there is a touch of powderiness to it. The amber starts to come out more now.

30 minutes later and it's a faint skin scent. Scent hasn't changed much either, though I would say it's more vanilla now. Perhaps I'll try putting more on again in the future, though it seems like I'm not the only one that has had this scent disappear in half an hour.

UPDATE: Since I was a bit let down about the lasting power earlier, I reapplied more of this and was a lot more heavy handed. It ended up lasting significantly longer. It was still a skin scent mostly, but much stronger. At the 7 hour mark it was still relatively strong and I could get whiffs here and there of it. And now 12 hours later, it's faint, but still there and is a bit more balsamic now. I did get a compliment from my boyfriend when I hugged him at this point that I smelled nice, too.

Bellanca

This is going to sound weird but this smells exactly like a chai tea on me! its very spicy but then it subsides to a chai tea latte! It becomes more sweet/spicy. The last of it smells more musky and masculine but still like a chai tea latte. It's lovely and sexy and it lasts till the end of the day.

Nonab02

Potent and sexy! I love this fragrance🥰
i can't stop smelling on it

Zoë101

I’m SO sorry. This is the first and only Tom Ford that I disliked 😱. I much more prefer my velvet orchid to this, which smells nothing at all like this, so maybe that’s why lol I get a very strong spicy vanilla BO scent. Yes body odor. This smells like a women with body odor trying to disguise the fact that she hasn’t bathed in WEEKS with a spicy vanilla expensive perfume. Ew.

Quick kinda funny story: I have a family member that both me and my brother were around a lot as kids/teens, and she was KNOWN for her body odor from not bathing and spraying perfume over it. When he smelled this he said it reminded him of her and her scent lol true story. I know I’m one of the very few that dislike this, but I do. It’s a dislike and declutter for sure. Ugh 🤦🏻♀️

RATING: I’d rather not offend.

Belovedme

I just love this fragrance. Perfect in case if you wanna seduce a man. Projects excellent, lasts long, with a huge sillage. It has that smoky TomFord signature note in it. Smells a pure seduction. Bravo Tom Ford🥂❤️

Schnupperl

I also think it smells great right after application and you want to find out more about this beauty. A warm, spicy and balsamic oriental, mixed with kulfi and vanilla (which gives the scent a wonderful sweetness and very light creaminess). For me, this fragrance is SEX IN A BOTTLE.

ellie9

It smells sexy, powerful, seductive and very very rich (as in opulent). I don't get any citrus from it, but I do find it to be a little boozy which is insanely attractive here with those spicy and sweet notes. It smells like a masterfully crafted sweet cocktail that just screams to be noticed. This was created for strong personalities who take charge and love to be noticed. A keeper for sure. A powerful nighttime autumn and winter fragrance

Reine_des_Neiges

I'm normally not one for the sweet scents but have been known to make exceptions now and then. I adore Black Orchid and Guerlain's L'Instant, for example.

First and foremost, 'Noir Pour Femme' is a sweet scent to and on me. I get A LOT of the sweet, citrus-y notes in the opening on my skin, especially the mandarin orange. Maybe it's the time of year I acquired this or the local tradition to give mandarins as gifts around Christmas that immediately makes me associate this with the holidays. Cosy, warm evenings spent around the dinner table with family and good food. Don't get me wrong, this definitely still possesses that unmistakable Tom Ford DNA that is sexy and slightly dirty (I can find some similarities to Black Orchid's vibes in this, but faintly, like a very distant cousin) but overall I'd call this 'tame' rather than 'wild'.

Eventually, this dries down to a very warm vanilla-laced amber on my skin with that je ne sais quoi note of Tom Ford all throughout. Projection is good, longevity poor on my skin but I should mention that my skin has this weird aversion to Tom Ford scents where they'll fade into nothing two hours in.

Decidedly a winter scent and more suited to nighttime than daytime, but the right person might pull this off on cool summer evenings as well.

For that price, I'm not sure I'll repurchase. Poor longevity aside, I just don't find this 'unique' enough to warrant starving my wallet like this. I'd rather splurge on Black or Velvet Orchid and truly get that 'sexy, dirty' vibe I expect from Tom Ford.

fawneyed_sita

Creamy/vanilla, lactonic, rose, spicy, in that order. I am very familiar with kulfi (its one of my favorite desserts!) and this absolutely nails the syrupy rose/litchi creamy smell of kulfi. I find this hardly powerdery at all, and neither does my boyfriend who detests powdery notes and can pick them out in any fragrance. Nor is it particularly woody, if there are wood notes they play nicely in the background. Same for the citrusy top notes reported here, they may serve to heighten the rosey freshness of the opening but I can't detect them as singular notes in themselves. This is an elevated creamy, sweet, and slightly spicy gourmand,. Will definitely be buying a full bottle. It's heavenly for me and pretty cheap at Walmart for a Tom Ford fragrance!

8/10

ashields232

All I get from this is powder powder powder!!! So disappointed I was hoping to get a sweet, spicy, vanilla.

avmist

Something about this reminds me of Spicebomb (the 2012 formulation), which I own and love to wear. It's a sweet and spicy fragrance that's perfect for cold nights

aaronmilic

I had some Optimum points and decided to go with this. Tom Ford is the only designer I'll consider at Shoppers as all the EDT's there smell the same to me. I had read reviews about this one and decided to give it a try. On me, there is very little difference between this and Noir Extreme, however the latter has more projection and lasts longer. This is basically the diet version of Noir Extreme.

DarlingNikki

More tolerable to me than Velvet Orchid (that blew my nostrils out lol). Smells like the creamy heart of VO mixed with 1 Million Prive (I thought there was tobacco and honey in this). Still not my thing, so Tom Ford is still batting zero with me, but my mom's eyes got wide when I had her smell it before chucking it and VO samples in the trash and she rescued it (said VO could go lol).

Bixi

It's mysterious and powerful, and I love the scent, but I find it weak, especially for the price. No matter how generously I spray it (and it's eau de parfum), after half an hour, it's gone. It doesn't even stay on the collar of my coats - which is a shame because I really like it.

Wizard Rev Hunt

For a long time I would go to perfume counters and try Tom Ford's Noir for Men. I liked it, but I didn't love it. Something was missing.

Noir Pour Femme is different. There is an amber, vanilla, sandalwood base that runs the show, a warm, enveloping, autumnal smell that has rose, orange blossom and jasmine undertones, secondary notes that help lift the perfume into something with a slight but not predominant femininity.

I would call this an affectionate, kind, warm, sensual, perfume, one that is neither specifically masculine or feminine but redolent of love and sweetness. If you don't want to smell it too strongly, apply it sparingly. It lasts all day and night and a half spray is more than enough.

masako_30

I'm fairly new to the world of Tom Ford.
Its fragrances sparkles with stunning opulence, many more are my far-off goals.
Noir came on tiptoe today that I got off work like it were looking for a magic place just for me.
I pulled the car over outside the mall, just long enough to spray it, and then left the usual places with a perfume I've never worn.
So now I wear Noir and it gently wraps me, there's no kind of boldness, or pointless sweetness but an excellent, elegant creamy touch.
I do think it's complex but deceptive into extreme simplicity, it seems created in just a few notes..
..but how could I reproduce a perfume with a smooth creaminess like this?
Can't do that.
There’s not much else I can add, others before me successfully defined this awesome infusion.
I just don’t want it inevitably to leave me at the end of this day.

flo90

Kulfi? All I can smell is mastic. And it's unbearable...

Nurses04.

One of my all time favourite Autumn/winter scents. It is deep, resinous, creamy, cosy, sweet and sophisticated with a dash of spice. I’ve never tasted Kulfi but it sounds delicious. Longevity is about 5/6 hours on me. It projects really well, in a way where those around you catch whiffs of something sweet and deep. Love it.

Swedelish

Yummy, classy and smooth. The only Tom Ford I love or even like. Their strong DNA that usually puts me off is absent, or less pronounced, in Noir PF. I agree with the spicy cola description. It's like a rich vanilla spicy cola float. I love the use of mastic resin in here as well. It gives it a gummy sort of "texture." It's sweet and sexy, though not totally "noir." I don't care, it's gorgeous and such a comfort to wear (yes, it manages to be both sexy and comforting). I've been thinking about owning a bottle for some time and now that the weather has cooled down I was motivated to finally order a bottle. Winter night out in a bottle. Or home snuggied up with a warm blanket.

Scentflower

New FAVORITE! Got a decant and needed a bottle stat. Its so delicious, its dark but so sexy. It reminds me of a intense version on Dior Addict. Its sweet spicy and has the vanilla sweetness.

poolsoflaughter

Oh, this is beautiful, just amplified in this warm weather, but will be oh-so-perfect for fall. It's like a walk in the forest with soft vanilla to smooth it all in the background. It definitely has the boldness that I recognize in other Tom Ford fragrances; I am not disappointed and will be wearing this quite often.

*Update: turns WAY too sweet on my skin, and the husband disapproves. I'll be exchanging this. :(

danygurl06

I have no idea what kufi smells, tastes or even looks like. To me, this reminds me of smelling a more gourmet little debbie pecan spinwheel. Like It is covered in some decadent icing or custard. I am definitely NOT saying this smells like a cinnamon roll, but it does smell like a dessert. The last leg of the drydown smells like a watered down version of Ava Lux Milk. I don’t like the dry down.

It may not be a scent I’d like to wear, but it does make me hungry.

My first Tom Ford and it has me spellbound! TF fragrances are not always a hit with me and the price point has always been a deterrent to even trying out fragrances from this line. However, recently I have really gotten into perfumery and TF, in my opinion, is a gate keeper into the realm of niche perfumery.

Noir pour femme is a great representation for paradoxes in perfumery, being sweet but spicy, playful yet bewitching. My nose picks up on a hint of spiciness from the ginger, a touch of the citruses, the rose most definitely but also other florals, the delicious sweet and creamy kulfi note with vanilla and the amber which gives this fragrance depth. Longevity is about 7-8 hrs and sillage is good.

Imagine a beautiful naked woman with tousled hair in between luxurious silk sheets that is carelessly wrapped around her body waking up from slumber, desire replacing the innocence of sleep in her eyes as she catches her man watching her, waiting for her to wake up. It's delicious, it's opulent and it's sexy AF! The scent is pure wizardry and will make your eyes roll back into your head in delight! Highly recommend!!!!

Jasmindee

Rich, opulent and very unique.

I have a bit of a black and gold collection going on in my office right now and this bottle took the cake. Kulfi and vanilla? I knew I had to have it. It's one of my most expensive perfumes I own, and it smells expensive as well.

I was already wearing Laura Mercier's Vanille, and I sprayed this on top and woah... Drop dead gorgeous. I feel like a Femme Fatale or as Kitty said below, like a movie star in an old black and white film.

The opening spray for me was spicy ginger and incense and I thought it was actually quite masculine, but I could still smell that this was very high quality. Settles into a plush, thick, heady vanilla and creamy sandalwood. Divine, delicious... Sexy as hell!

I wouldn't wear this all the time. Noir is for special occasions only... In fact, I'm going to a fancy restaurant this Wednesday. I'm going to wear this perfume which will hopefully match my aesthetic and mood. I'm thinking a lacy bodysuit, powerhouse blazer and a cheeky skirt with black eye shadow, high heels and long, straight, auburn hair. That's what I envision when I wear this and I can't wait to feel like I own the place with this little baby in my hands.

Noir makes me feel like a strong, sexual, confident woman. What more could I ask for from a perfume?

EDIT: So, I wore this to a family meal and my mother said to me as I glided down the stairs in my strappy heels and pencil skirt... "good lord, your perfume is so strong and masculine!" I was like, "oh, thanks..." Boyfriend had the worst reaction to it and told me I smelled like a spicy old man... Yikes!!!! I'm hoping to test this again in cooler weather with hopes they might appreciate it a bit more. I'm all for wearing a perfume for yourself if you like it, y'know, you do you and all that, but I love and appreciate when my boyfriend wears fragrances I like, so I like to do the same for him and he really hated this one. *pouts*

KittyDeBeauvoir

***Episode #1,438 of KittyDeBeauvoir being a Trash Person***:

Look, it took me a while to come around to this, and I'm sorry.

My earlier review I dragged this perfume through the mud. It was "Too sweet", "Too cloying", and "Begging" for other notes to give it some complexity.
In another example of me being a Trash Person, I bought a used bottle off eBay because I was still oddly compelled by it.

That's its power! It's compelling.

Now I have a bottle, and I enjoy it. It's got a sharp orange blossom (the strongest floral note here), minimal rose, and salivating vanilla. It definitely has that sweet kulfi, but it also has a deep amber and some woodiness. Even a smokiness.

This is more complex than I initially reported. My bad.

Again, my husband likes this! He reports some mandarin peel note to it which has a nostalgic aspect for him, and I love that. :)

Yes, the bottle is cool. It feels really good in your hand. I'm not sure if that's an important point for anyone, but it can't hurt.

The longevity is BOSS LEVEL! Easily 12 hours.
Sillage is decent. I haven't gassed anybody yet. That's a win.

Still pricey, but not nearly as expensive as Tom Ford's "Private Range". Thankfully.

I also 100% agree with the review that states this is a Femme Fatale fragrance from a noir film. Maybe that's where the name comes from?

I bought this blind as I am so fed up with all the sweet shop smells out there. I read all the comments on here and decided to try it out. Well its beautiful, it wraps you up in a sophisticated soft sensual, smooth scent, it has a very expensive, spicy layer, which slowly calms down to a beautiful soft slightly sweet layer but not too much as its a grown up perfume. I love it and wear it everyday.

Tom Ford's Noir is simply stunning. It is smooth, sweet, deep, and sexy. This is the fragrance that beautiful people wear. The vanilla is deep and dark. The ginger is warm and spicy. The dessert notes are sweet and addictive. Tom Ford hit it out of the park with this beauty. This is one of my favorites by far.

EJ123

On the opening this is quite oriental and even spicy but after a few hours tones down into a more boozy vanilla and is stunning. Tested it in my wrist 12 hours ago and still can smell it. It is insanely good and it turns sweeter as time passes. Definitely worth a try if you are into a more spicy perfume and looking for something different. Definitely a favourite from Tom Ford. Would rate this a 10/10 😊.
UPDATE
It has been over 20hours and is still on my wrist which is ridiculously amazing, definitely worth the money!

Magnoliajo

This isn't noir as in dark it's noir as in film noir, a femme fatale from a noir movie. Very seductive and classy. It's woody with hint of spices and lovely vanilla, that gives it a cosy clean classy feeling

Pianomelody

A perfume that opens with a spicy and mysterious note! Elegant perfume of great impact. Moderate sillage and longevity. It is not among my favorites but it is a nice perfume!

Sillage: 6./0
Longevity: 6.5/10

Dark, sexy, magnetising and rich, this is one of my all-time favourites. Getting very frustrated at not being able to wear this during summer, it would completely choke me out. But in the autumn and winter - wow! It has an addictive sweet tobacco feeling about it, almost is what I hoped TF tobacco vanille would be, that one however was too masculine and spicy for me.
This one has an unusual sweetness coming from the kulfi, a mysterious vibe and alluring quality. Perfectly balanced, creamy and just a touch of subtle spice to give it an edge.

For any future evening dates where I want to guarantee feeling like a powerful queen, I'll be spritzing this.

@Kots_Tanya I agree with the Lalibela reference, there is something in common here although they are both v different fragrances! This one is richer, closer in character to Dior Addict for sure. First 20 mins I'm getting some cinnamon spice above the smoothness of the vanilla. Love it so far!

Kots_Tanya

I blind bought Tom Ford Noir pour femme and I believe this might be the very first fragrance I absolutely love from Tom Ford. Its so feminine and sweet powdery, a little smoky vanilla, addictive and so elegant, like a Black dress elegant, I cant wait to wear this for a date with my husband.
I cant believe orchid is not listed, always thought that powdery floral sweetness that this fragrance has would come from an orchid. It reminds me slightly of Memo Lalibela. and has addictive vibe like Dior Addict but more rose and vanilla instead of vanilla and Jasmine.

Okay, so I just blind bought this and received a couple of days ago and I’m about to spray it on...

Okay so upon spraying I get the bitter orange and a blast of citrus. I was already warned I would have to wait for this to dry down on my skin before smelling any gourmand notes.

I’ll update later

UPDATE: Smells like over-ripe fruit and will be leaving my collection

Sweet, but not to sticky. I first felt this had a unisex feel to it, but I sprayed it on a man and it didn’t seem right, so I would say this is feminine with a little ”edge”, keeping it from beeing to girly and tame. I did use this quite a bit and liked it, but it just felt a little ”meh”. It is very linear on me and lacks depth enough to be a favorite. Since I have other dry spicy sweet fragrances that I prefer, I ended up giving this to my mom, who loves it!

It is a nice scent and probably a crowdpleaser. Not very ”noir” though. If you like sweet safe scents, but are looking for something a little more oriental or evening, this is probably a great choice. I can’t imagine anyone being offended by this.

ben805

This is Noir Extreme Light, smell the same but more subtle. I can practically douse myself with a minimum of 10 sprays of this. Longevity and performance are quite poor.

Advaitaforever

As a kulfi enthusiast, this didn’t wow me. The texture should be creamer, the vanilla was expected be heavier and the cardamom needs to be more abundant.
It’s quite uniform and safe, it doesn’t really emerge as anything flamboyant or quintessentially Tom Ford.

A cinnamon spiced vanilla powdered baby milk formula.

The fragrance holds back from being completely authentic.

Timaka

To my nose, Noir Pour Femme is like a combination of Dior Addict EDP and Kenzo Amour. It’s creamier and less spicey than Addict, but thicker and more delicious than Amour.

Smells both seductive and comforting, however I prefer Addict as my smoky, luscious, deep vanilla. Still, NPF is a smooth, cozy gourmand that I’d be happy to own one day.

ekowala7

This fragrance is absolutely incredible. It smells like a sweet, creamy spicy dessert - to me, almost like a very heavy chai tea spiced creme brulee - in the easiest way to describe it to something I know.

The longevity is the only thing that drives me crazy. On my skin, it doesn't last very long, that I can tell. Perhaps I go anosmic, but it sits really close to my skin. That being said, the longevity on my clothing and in my hair is 6-9 hours, which isn't great for clothing and hair - but I'll take it.

This isn't a cheap fragrance and the longevity and projection should be better in my opinion. This could very well just be my skin, though. For me, it is dark and deep but also light and sweet and isn't overwhelming or cloying to me, AT ALL. I still have a 100mL in my collection and I fall in love every sniff. It is warming, spicy, sweet and sexy as hell.

I would recommend testing this before you buy, but if you're willing to potentially have a moderate performance perfume that smells G O R G E O U S for a not moderate price, this is your girl.

Overall: 8.5/10

Austrian_in_Denmark

Like all Tom Ford scents I have ever tried, Noir Pour Femme works really well on my skin.

It is the dark side of gourmand: yummy, but mysterious. Like sitting in a garden at night time - I am talking real summer time, please, and not a cool spring night in Scandinavia - and tasting something delicious that you cannot see. I have never eaten kulfi, but it must at the very least smell fantastic.

The vanilla, the amber and the wood are strong, but I cannot make out the ginger.

The only downside: sillage and longevity are only average, while all other Tom Fords are nuclear on me.

DrRosie

I can't believe I waited this long to get this perfume. This is such a good fragrance, it should have been part of my collection a long time ago. This is a super sexy perfume for anyone to enjoy. Silly me only purchased the 50 ml bottle now i have to go buy another one. Fudge Fudge!!
