Trussardi Donna (2011) Trussardi for women

Refreshing, nice for summer, spring time. I get citrus and jasmine. It reminds me a bit of ruby lips by Dali. It makes me think of sea breeze and a white linen shirt.. it's a nice perfume but I'm not blown away :-)

A very pleasant surprise and love at first sniff. ❤

What I get is candied/honeyed lemon, not too sweet, not too tart, just right. It sits there, right between sweet, fruity and floral, neither of them, yet with hints of all of them. It's a warm, bright, feminine fragrance, that works really, really well with my skin.

It smells good, but doesn’t have much to say. It’s just vaguely sweet-fruity with some creaminess, although the tea does give it a little something extra. Quite pleasant but there’s no WOW factor. Performance is the same— satisfactory but nothing to write home about either.

By the way, it doesn’t smell mature at all. To me, it’s actually quite a young perfume— the generic fruitiness brings to mind the kind of thing you’d buy for a very young woman, like a safe gift for a friend’s teenage daughter. Also very sweet and creamy for those zillenial gourmand lovers. The tea makes it perhaps an elevated version of that genre, but this is by no means a white floral bomb.

What this reminds me of is a bowl of lemon flavoured greek yoghurt hehe.
It has a creamy texture that is very addictive.
The jasmine and citruses create a nice balance with the gourmand aspect of the fragrance.
I would consider this an all year round day scent.

Dense white flowers. I don’t get much of the vanilla but instead lots of jasmine and something similar to lily of the valley. Comes across as quite mature (40+). Elegant, but not a successful blind buy for me. I much prefer The Sound of Donna.

Shes a stunner. A gorgeous Mediterranean 30 year old woman, dressed in a chic white outfit, heels, hair flawless. Feminine, sensual, natural. That is who I imagine when I smell this.

The perfume itself, creamy, light, a beautiful lemon note stands out without any sharpness. Donna is soft and very appealing. I dont know, maybe its just me but this really hits the spot. I really does smell like a woman, mature but still young, self assured enough not to try too hard, but aware of her beauty. She is feminine, attractive and alluring, classy and self aware.

This perfume was a blind buy for me, not unpleasant..it is a very generic citrus vanilla floral which reminded me of elie saab la parfum which is stronger jasmine on a dry down, this is more lemony vanilla...a bit synthetic..i get more of a kitchen/oven cleaner vibe than a perfume...i think ill make use of it by layering with other fragrances. longevity is very poor, it disappears on my skin within an hour, faint lingering on clothes that too when i try hard to sniff it.

A fresh sweet lemony citrus fragrance. I've been loving citrusy-vanilla gourmands and most of the ones I own are heavy hitters. This is the freshie version of something like that, not gourmand* - but still citrus+vanilla. It's lovely and an easy reach. I will get myself a full bottle in time for spring next year.

Donna is a very likeable scent, in the vein of D&G Light Blue, Lanvin Eclat d'Arpege, YR Tendre Jasmin—they all contain citruses as opening notes, some mild white florals in the centre and synthetic woods in the base. I already own the aforementioned Eclat, so I don't need Donna at the moment, but it's a well-made fragrance, which projects softly, and yet lasts many hours on the wearer's skin. It's ideal for warm weather and relatively affordable, which is an added bonus. I'd say that it's a safe blind buy and perfect as a gift.

Surprisingly, "Donna" is suitable even in summer, unlike most florals.

There is no sticky cloying in it, and to the best of "woody notes".
Something reminiscent of perfumes from Elia Saab, calm and harmonious.

This makes me think of Italy and warm Mediterranean weather. Many Italians adore lemons and this scent embodies that feeling of warm sunshine but with a woody base, a few white flowers and a creamy sweet almost pastry/cake-like feel to it. Beautiful transportive and very Italian vacation/ Mediterranean holiday feeling.

I really wanted to love it. Tried dozens of times on my skin, clothes, and blotters. I cannot get over initial stage which smells like polish for wooden furniture. After this citrus calms down, come soft fluffy jasmine and orange flower. Well-blended and smooth. Perfect white flowers for anyone who hates white flowers. Drydown is veryyy creamy. Best on the skin. But initial furniture polish is so bad to my nose, I cannot.

I am so glad that I have the kind of composition that most perfumes mix well with. I am not really into citrusy, fresh scents but this particular perfume smells really good on me. The top notes make me stop and think, what is that? I have a lot of perfumes and I cannot make out one single perfume this reminds me of, so that is a big win in my books. It works for daytime and even night time if you want something sparkly and different. This is my first foray into the house of Trussardi and I say well done, because it was way better than I expected it to be. I am normally an oudy, oriental lady but I will gladly wear this because it just smells luxurious and powerful on me.

I have had this scent for 5 years and forgot about it until I saw it tucked in the back of my wardrobe. No more hiding this gem.

Don't wear this is you don't like a little attention!

Day one, less than an hour after first application and I was approached by a man at work asking what I was wearing. He said he's never smelled anything so good and his eyes rolled back as he said "oh my gosh...amazing!" I don't usually get compliments that intense from anyone other than my husband!

I don't own any other fragrance quite like this. It's fresh, clean, sweet, seductive and boss lady all at the same time. It smells like a confident lady that still knows how to have fun. I will be enjoying this immensely during the spring and summer months. I felt fresh throughout the entire wear which was at least 6 hours, I only reapplied because I wanted to experience those top notes again :)

Beautiful bottle, looks so luxe on my shelf and the juice is quickly becoming a favorite for me. 10/10 recommend!

This is my go-to daily fragrance. Something about it makes me feel empowered after spraying myself. Putting it on just transforms me.
This is "I know what i want" in a bottle. It emanates elegance with the right amount of fun. I am in love with this one. It is the perfect choice for every woman who wants their confidence boosted and it suits both juvenile and mature women.

Trussardi Donna to me smells like an expensive bar soap, a bar soap that is clean and lingers on your body. It is soft, citrusy and I smell white florals. It is not sweet it leans more woody in my opinion, I sprayed it on skin and clothes and can say that I smell it on clothes longer than on my skin. I prefer to wear this to run errands, on walks or to bed since it is a light scent.

I've had this for quite some time now, but i'm still on the fence about it. It opens up with bright citruses and settles into a creamy jasmine. It is so inoffensive and perfect for any workplace, especially the office. Longevity and projection are astonishingly weak (on me) and i do overspray a lot. I'd say it projects for about 10-15 minutes and then becomes a skin scent for 2 hours (and 3-4 hours on clothes). Thankfully you can get this heavily discounted but even as it is, the poor performance ruins it for me.

I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this and boy I’m i disgusted! I bought my bottle from fragrancenet and I’m wondering if it’s to old are fake I just don’t know but this just smells like a bunch of cheap chemicals thrown together and it doesn’t last 30 minutes! Keep your money I sure wish I did!

THE floral perfume for floral-perfume haters.

I generally despise floral notes as they all seem to turn sickly sweet on my skin / to my nose. But this - well, with the exception of the sharp citrus opening which I didn’t mind - is hella smooth. Turns slightly creamy over time. Gives a very white-dress delicate vibe. Big plus also for longevity (10 hrs)

Going on a hunt for more Natalie Lorson’s creations after this and Encre Noire

another beautiful and fresh white floral lemonade, made with some juicy lemons and something slightly creamy so it doesn't go too sour. i've had my eye on it for a while so i was very happy when i smelled it however it barely lasted 1 hour on me. :( i know this scent profile is notorious for this but i have citrus-fresh scents that have a better lifespan than this. i'm still hopeful so i'll save the rest of the sample for sunnier days but for now... sample first!

This was the fragrance I chose for my wedding day. So feminine, so innocent. Felt like I was wearing fresh spring air, complimenting nicely my white flowers bouquet. Almost made it my signature scent. Such a pity it does not last long. I wish it had stronger performance. But all on all, a fav for bringing out the light feminine energy. It's really lovely.

I will say this perfume is my signature scent. I get so many compliments when I wear it..
It's not something complicated, very easy perfume to blind buy.
Fresh, clean and elegant perfume. Not fruity, not sweet, not very flowery ...it's how it should be, on its golden edge.

A garden of White Floral in the early morning of spring.

After trying Trussardi Donna, there is only one phrase that comes to mind to describe her: “Spring garden”. This is truly a beautiful spring garden full of life, and also extremely close. The Citrus scent is fresh and not at all strong, the succulent fruit notes give off a sweet scent. A certain scent is very cool and relaxing, like Green Tea, Chamomile (Although the company's perfume ingredients are not mentioned). Perhaps the ethereal flavor of the Lotus in Trussardi Donna, it gives a feeling quite similar to the Green Tea. Add a lot of soft cream scent mixed with White Floral, like you are enjoying a glass of fragrant ice cream in a garden filled with White Floral, outside is warm sunlight and rolling grassy hills along the Mediterranean coast ^^

Rating: 8/10. Citrus + White Floral perfume bottle is easy to use for those who are allergic to these two fragrance groups. However, the adhesion on the skin is not good

Another citrus scent without being too tart because the floral notes balance everything out. I love wearing this during warm days when this is fragrance is best suited. Donna EdP smells expensive for its price, I have to say. I wished the longevity was better, since I have to respray after a few hours. The flask-shaped bottle is also pretty. Nice to know the nose behind it is Nathalie Lorson, one of my favorite perfumers.

I can't believe how long I have been eyeing this but never had the guts to blind buy it.. until i saw it in a local perfumery, tested it and was blown away!
It has everything thay all perfumes from the last years lack. It has personality and is not sickeningly sweet. It is not detergent like but smells floral and the citrus doesn't hit you in the nose. This yuzu note is a win for me ever since i first found it in Bright Crystal.

I will buy a few back up bottles for sure.

I usually hate citrus scents, but this one is so gentle and creamy. Key lime pie vibes. Very feminine. It's very light and inoffensive. Safe for any environment and any time of day.

Such an awesome scent! It's the best citruses in perfumery that I have ever smelt. Soft, tender, sweety, but not sweet with fruity notes. Femininity and tenderness in the bottle. Citruses and fruits are balanced by jasmine. Jasmine is also beautiful and pure here. Very light and delicate fragrance. It's even office-friendly. As much as I wear it, I wonder how Nathalie Lorson could make such a great scent from simple and usual ingredients. This white bottle should always be in my large collection of perfumes!

The Italian concept of Bella Figura is captured in this fragrance. It's beautiful and elegant, not in a serious mature way, but in a relaxed Mediterranean way. Zesty citruses first, then the sunny, bright orange flowers start to play the leading role, creating an interesting harmony. Very captivating. I blind bought Donna, could not find it in any shop here in Helsinki to test it first. It was love at the first spray.
Donna is not my workday fragrance, it's for weekends and other special occasions.

I saved my 100th review for a deserving fragrance, and I think Trussardi Donna belongs in this spot.

What a beautiful perfume. While I liked it quite a bit the first time I wore it, it's so addicting that it lures you in and now I am absolutely in love with this. The opening notes are citrus, and many describe this as a citrus scent, for me it settles down quite quickly and it's the middle notes that shine and make this scent so spectacular.

The dry down is a creamy smooth floral with light woods. Do not worry about the patchouli in this, it's not very prominent and exists to provide a warm rounded feel. I do detect an almost green tea and I am not sure if it's the jasmine or if there is a tea note not listed. The musky dry down to me reminds me of Narciso Rodriguez's musk, however I am not saying these are dupes or anything a like, but its a very pretty soft powdery musk.

It's clean, classy, and sophisticated.

This is a beautiful beach scent. You can smell the fruity notes as well as the vanilla and Sandalwood. Definitely full bottle worthy and the price is great. 8 out of 10 for me.

Donna is...not what I expected. Because of the hype around it, I expected an entrancing and intoxicating perfume. I was actually kind of excited to get this since it has rave reviews. What I got was something I've definitely smelled before. Donna isn't new, she isn't innovative but she's definitely safe. She's the dress you have in the back of the closet in case all of your new purchases don't fit right. On my skin this is heavily floral, I get no fruit notes. I immediately notice what smells like a cup of green jasmine tea and shortly after white florals come out swinging and then it stays this way. While I'm not entirely disappointed by Donna, she definitely will be placed in the easy reach section of my collection when I need something quick for church, an interview, or even work.

I don’t get the hype at all. To me - this is as basic as it gets, ho-hum generic citrusy white floral with musky dry down. I don’t dislike it, I think it’s ok. Safe office scent, not offensive at all. But also exceptionally boring.

The best citrus scent ever!

Love this perfume. I wore it everyday for a week in Florence. Appropriate for the setting, but I did not receive a single compliment from the group. This make me think projection is low. This perfume is also not long lasting - replication is a must to last past lunch. I also overspray.

This is a beautiful, soft and feminine perfume. It makes me think of Italy, about a trip to the lake on a sunny Sunday, or a romantic picnic on the grass on a breezy day. It feels familiar and for some reason very “Trussardi”-like: fresh, clean, elegantly casual. It’s a white shirt and jeans kind of perfume, young but soft enough for a mature wear. Non-offensive for office wear.

This smells like a very nice and expensive shampoo. I sprayed it all over my hair and body and it was so fluffy so clean smelling so lovely! It smells like you just got out of the shower and the smell of the products you used has decided to waft around you in a rather big bubble as this has nice projection and sillage. Its perfect for what it is, a clean shampooy femine fragrance. The last shampooy clean fragrance I had was Prada La Femme and I absolutely hated that one, it smelled more like a hair conditioner. This is everything I wished that was. Although it smells shampooy it doesn't smell soapy, which I dislike soapy fragrances. This actually smells fluffy, clean, and everything I have been searching for in a shampooy perfume to add to my collection. Now I wish I had an actual shampoo to use that smelled like this. Absolute Hit! Beautiful rose and fruit scented shampoo perfume!

If u are into clean and soapy perfumes , this is the one . It smells like ponds face cream or something along those lines . I don’t say that in a bad way because I love the scent. It is refreshing , bright and some what aquatic . It is light and not too heavy. Easy to wear without worrying about offending people. That is forsure . The lasting power is not that great . It’s more of skin scent .. upon dry down , it becomes tart and powdery. I would not purchase cus it doesn’t last on me at alllll!

I love this fresh, creamy, and sweet fragrance that is completely bright and delicious. a perfect one for summer and spring. The vibes from this are joyful and uplifting. Good longevity and silage make it even more wow.

Love this so so much for summer it’s really refreshing but not in a marine way . Flower fresh but not toilet freshener . Just a ligt airy flower citrus but soft from the sandel wood . Just like a fresh cotton or something .

This is delicious! I get a tangy Lemon Meringue pie. Not bad sillage and lasts a while on me. Great for spring/summer.

Zero sillage and longevity. I nearly showered myself like 4482929 sprays but no. Also it very dull very lemony. Nice bottle though. Many buy this because it is cheap but doesn’t worth spending money on this. Save and get a real and long lasting one

I blind bought this one and have to say that I really like it! It is such a clean, creamy, fresh but sweet fragrance, perfect for spring and summer!

It smells like walking among orange trees in bloom in the end of spring. So natural and pretty. I prefer it for spring and summer.

A great example of a classy Italian fragrance. This is all creamy orange blossom and jasmine on my skin reminiscent of Armani's Sensi (but not a dupe). A beautiful grown-up scent that is perfect for a signature perfume.

This smells almost identical to the EDT on me and that makes it a no for me,
I had hoped that this version would not smell like bug spray on me like the EDT, but it does.
If anything I think the EDT was a bit nicer, it had a fresher, more vibrant opening before it went downhill.
I'm sure these two Donnas smell wonderful on the right person,.
They just don't work on my skin.

I love the EDP so much, which is all about jasmine and orange flower to me :) And citrus accents. I agree with another reviewer that said the EDP does not seem as strong as the EDT. The EDT is more of a citron-dominated scent, so they are quite different. I also love the purity of Donna because it doesn’t really have any noticeable chemical smell to it; it's more open. I wish it was easier to find formulas like this in the US! Might need to reapply midday, but it’s worth it :)

This is clean sweet and classy. Light creamy lemon and sweet vanilla.

I have had this for a few years and just realized I never reviewed it. It’s ok. I had read reviews saying this was the best perfume ever, and I was disappointed. It’s not awful, but it really isn’t anything special to my nose. I thought it would be lighter, but it’s really pretty strong and a little cloying. It kind of reminds me of Hi C orange drink or orange furniture dusting spray. Surprisingly, it seems kind of linear to me. I thought it would be more interesting and complex based on the different notes, but it’s just sweet orange syrup on me. Doesn’t really smell like perfume to be honest.

It's a beautiful white floral slightly creamy scent. Close to your skin. Easily can be a safe gift/blind buy. Sadly not long lasting on my skin.

Lovely fragrance! Love the lemony yuzu fresh top note and the smooth creamy floral. Very balanced and well blended. White florals are the main but not cloying at all. Very comforting and elegant and addictive. It’s such a pleasant scent. Something that I can wear anytime any where. Good signature scent! Dry down Kind of smells like acqua do gioia’s dry down without the peach top note.

Great aromas of citrus/fruit. Sweet with a small note of fresh sour citrus. I've had two packages and a shipper again.

Jasmine tea with a yuzu background. Smells clean and sophisticated, and it's very safe to wear, I don't think anyone would get offended by this. Perfect for spring and summer when you need a light perfume!

I just got this in the mail early this morning and decided to wear it, I thought it would be a nice pleasing non perfume, perfume for my Dr. appointment. I have wanted something like this in my collection for awhile now, a light citrus white floral that has kind of a shampoo type of character w/out being to shower gel like. I sampled many but none of them were quite right. Many of them had to much bergamot and if you have read any of my other perfume reviews you will know by now I am fussy about bergamot. Other fragrances in this genre w/out bergamot just seemed a bit flat. I was watching a youtube video called the scentnest and that woman doing the fragrance reviews is about my age and we have similar tastes and she said this was a safe blind buy. I ordered it based on her review and she was right, this was the easy citrus white floral that I was looking for, at a good price. This starts off w/ some almost chewing gum type of fruity notes but that fades into the background and a nice tart lemon and a sweet yuzu greet your nose. This becomes a very pretty jasmine, orange blossom and lotus flower perfume mixed w/ subtle citrus notes. The dry down is a floral vanilla. All and all very pretty, likeable and easy to wear and easy for others to be around. The more I smell it on me the more it reminds me of a mimosa at brunch. Very sparkling. Also the bottle is quite stunning. I love the white and the gold together.

Creamy, fresh white floral. Great for the price it usually retails in. Not earth-shattering, but appropriate in "meet the in-laws" kind of situation.

Pleasant surprise! I was able to snag this for $25 and I'm so impressed. It smells so beautiful especially in the dry down. It's slightly creamy, perfect amount of sweetness, and a "freshie" that a gourmand lover like me can appreciate. Very fruity too but the fruits smell unique and exotic and not cheap at all. This smells niche!

It took about the 4th or 5th wear for me conclude this is good good. My first impression was nice fragrance, nothing super special about it in my opinion. However this week I wore it to work, about 10 sprays and when I tell you it was absolutely delicious. I smelled sooo good with good projection and even catching whiffs of the scent 6 hours later. It's creamy and lemony with hints of florals on my skin. I'm kicking myself for purchasing the 30mL bottle instead of the 100 mL.

A fantastic little perfume and very easy to smell.
I'm very sensitive to most scents and fragrances, and a lot of them end up being things I can only spray on once a month before they start to make me feel sick. The fruits and citrus come through perfectly, there's amber but it doesn't make me feel sick like amber usually does. And plays well with others if you want to amp it up- I sometimes mix it with Heretic Perfume's Scandalwood to help me use it (this combination gets loving comments from strangers!) I have a sample but I'll buy a full bottle.

Trussardi Donna open as a fizzy fruits, yuzu and lemon drink. Refreshing and flowery thanks to orange blossom and jasmine. I usually don't like perfumes with "fruity notes" because they are syrupy sweet but, in this perfume, they create the perfect base for the orange blossom. The lotus has an important function, giving freshness and a watery feel to the composition.

In the dry down it becomes slightly sweeter, with vanilla, while remaining light and fresh. It is not gourmand. It is not sweet. It simply softens and sweetens the scent.

This fragrance is so popular in the last period, why? Because it is an easy grab, likeable, a perfume that you wear without thinking about it and has no opportunities. Perfect, for me, as an office perfume or for those who love fresh and light perfumes.

I don’t hate this fragrance. It’s very light and refreshing. For some reason and maybe it’s just me, this scent reminds me of Arizona Tea but woodier. I mean that in a good way of course. I do wish I liked it more. It smells very different from how I thought it would smell like.

This is a beautiful scent and a safe blind buy! However, it does not last which is such a bummer. After about 2 hours it it completely gone. It doesnt even become a skin scent it just disappears. I even tried overspraying. For the price I still recommed it as long as you are ok with having to reapply constantly throughout the day.

To me, this is very similar to Elizabeth Arden Green Tea except a little sweeter.

Such a lovely fragrance! A classy, creamy citrus that's also sparkling and feminine. I would make this my signature scent if only it lasted more than 10 minutes on me 😭

Trussardi Donna is a refreshing, subtle lemony scent with floral undertones.
One of the shortest lived scents I've ever own.
The fragrance smells really good but was fading so fast, after just ten minutes or so I could barely smell it or maybe I’m just nose blind to it.
Have to try it out more to se if someone can smell it on me.

I had been reading lots of good reviews about Trussardi Donna. It was also being praised by my favorite Youtube fragrance enthusiasts. Donna sounded like such a lovely scent, and I waited impatiently for my decant to arrive. I was looking forward to a creamy, citrus fragrance to wear for the Summer. And while Donna is certainly a pleasant, creamy citrus scent, personally, I cannot find the hype surrounding it justifiable.

Trussardi Donna opens with a lovely fresh lemon cookies-being-baked-nearby essence. Next comes a chorus of soft white florals. A sharp, darker note floats up- the cedar, perhaps. The vanilla is a background player- I can't detect it as a separate note. Sadly- Donna begins to fade right after application. By minute ten or so, even though I had sprayed my arm three or four times with it, Donna had almost disappeared.

I would not describe Trussardi Donna as sweet at any point, and it is certainly not a gourmand. It is a refreshing, very subtle lemony essence with floral undertones. And it is one of the shortest-lived scents I've tested in awhile.

Which is a shame, because I quite enjoyed the first seven or so minutes of Donna before it vanished. My decant is the EDT- perhaps the EDP is the way to go? I don't know. I just wish I was getting the creamy lemon delicacy so many others are describing.

Ya’ll, I cannot stop wearing this perfume. It’s citrusy and light and full-bodied and creamy at the same time. How in the world? I will deffo be buying a second bottle. Run get this now if you love jasmine and vanilla.

Wow!! A Beautiful Summer perfume. It's a creamy, citrusy, white floral that is elegantly done. It is fresh, delicate, feminine and sofisticated. The bottle is also gorgeous!

Whilst it can be an easy every day reach, it could also be reserved for a special occasion, like a wedding.

POV: Summer in Italy. Amalfi Coast. A bright and sunny day. You’re wearing bold red lipstick, a white dress, a hat and gold jewelry. You’re enjoying fresh sweet lemonade and a vanilla tart with delicate berries - their sweet tartness explodes across your tongue. A light breeze takes off your hat and moves it across the ocean, then it brings on the scent of nearby orange trees. You smile. You’re so happy to be there. Never felt so alive before. You’ll try your best to stay longer.

I wish I could experience the magic so many of you get from this fragrance. To my nose it's a very cirtusy, lemony, fresh and refreshing scent that I reach for in the heat. There are some watery florals in the background but not too prominent. Very pleasant easy reach for the summer, but I could live without it.

To my nose, it smells like sweet lemonade, with a dash of white florals and the vanille and sandalwood holds everything together. It's classy and elegant, yet clean & not cloying at all. It lasted me about 5-6 hours in hot & humid climate. Definitely a daytime fragrance. It's an easy grab and makes me feel more put-together even when I only have my white T-shirt and blue jeans on

So lovely, fresh summer scent but should last longer on skin than just that half an hour. Luxury bottle. Anyways, I spray decent amount now and then, to lift up the mood.

I did not expect to fall so hard for Trussardi Donna, but it is a truly wonderful surprise. I also own the EDT and Pink Marina, but the EDP is my favorite. Full disclosure—I adore yuzu. I lived in Japan for a decade, and to me, there is nothing more uplifting and energizing than the scent of a fresh-cut Japanese Grapefruit. Here it is less tart but no less refreshing—true therapy in a bottle. What makes this scent so special is how well-blended it is. I'm not big in white florals, but their creamy quality really allows the yuzu to express a more feminine aspect. The vanilla is also a nice touch. Longevity and sillage are average, but I have no problem reapplying and re-experiencing the magical dry down. Perfect for summer or whenever a mood boost is needed.

Trussardi Donna exceeded my expectation. I have heard a lot of people raving about this perfume so I picked it up. It is a smooth and sweet citrus scent with a vanilla dry down, not sharp and not too overly "citrus freshie". Although not identical, it does give me a similar vibe to YSL Cinema in the current formulation, which is a clementine & vanilla combo, even though YSL Cinema still has a bit more kick than Donna.

Projection of Donna is moderate, but lasting power is good. I think it is a very good choice for a "dumb reach" in Spring and Summer.

I freaking love the EDP. It was a "like" at first sniff, but it soon developed into a love as I started to uncover its nuances with each wear. I recently purchased the EDT, and upon smelling both fragrances side-by-side, I was able start understanding all the notes at play in each. Both are light and refreshing, but by comparing the two, I can see how they differ and what makes each unique (at least to my nose!). Here's a quick and dirty breakdown (in my untrained opinion):

EDP – sweeter, softer, rounder.
- Sweet zesty Yuzu/Amalfi Lemon opening is very bright and uplifting, not bitter
- Moves into a semi-sweet gentle, not heady floral – Jasmine/Lotus
- EDP and EDT share the same base (Vanilla, Sandalwood, Cedar, Patchouli) but in the EDP, the vanilla is smoother and sweeter in the dry-down.
*Overall, EDP is actually softer and more floral-leaning. Still citrusy and fresh, but less so when compared to EDT.

EDT – sharper, cleaner, fresher.
- Yuzu/Citron top note is prominent here
- A slightly bitter yet beautiful Jasmine Tea note is prominent whereas EDP showcases a softer, more floral jasmine note
- EDP and EDT share the same base (Vanilla, Sandalwood, Cedar, Patchouli) but the woody notes are more prominent here whereas vanilla is more prominent in EDP.
*Overall, EDT is actually a bit stronger because it is a sharper, fresher citrus/tea-based fragrance. It's worth noting that in the deep deep dry-down, this mellows out and becomes more similar to EDP.

All in all, I really enjoy both and I think it just depends on what your preferences are.

I loved this when it first came out and ended up buying a bottle a few years later. But the instant I bought it I became disappointed with it. I revisit it every now and again and find it completely unremarkable. I smell sharp florals and sugary fruits. If I tested this blind I would think it was a pop-star celebrity fragrance. Nothing special at all.

This reminds me of a white tshirt and jeans kind of scent.
I don’t get any vanilla or any fruity sweetness at all.
Some people mentioned if you like light blue by d&g you’ll like this and I disagree.

Yes you get a lemony blast in the opening but it doesn’t stay throughout on my skin like some has mentioned.

I get a ton of florals, this is white floral forward for me. Just white florals in the mid and dry down.
It’s not a realistic floral and there’s something that making it warm and not fresh and clean like most white florals (the base notes)

If I smelled this in store I wouldn’t pick it up..I blind bought this.

A smooth white floral with a touch of sour tartness from the citrus you get in opening. Barely a sweet undertone but I get a very very slight sweetness that makes it smooth. It’s very pretty and perfect for warm weather.

I changed my mind about this perfume. It wasn't a hate but was a dislike. In the first 2 days seemed so banal, just another floral perfume and than suddenly something changed and I started to love this perfume. It's a mildly flower combined a delicate fruity scent.Definitely it's office friendly, very delicate and very feminine, romantic and safe.The only bad side it's the weak performance and sillage but this i noticed in all the Trussardi perfumes not only in this. So yes I think is a good perfume for day but not for a dating or nightout. I like also the bottle a lot it's simple and luxurious.

Very vanilla and sweet on my skin. I get tiare flower in this perfume which gives it a summer vibe. Good performance on me.

Just another floral perfume. Had to give it to my mother in law. Nothing special about it just a bit of freshness among those flowers.

Supposedly this is the fragrance Priyanka Chopra wears that garners her so many compliments. I wouldn’t be surprised if this is true. This perfume smells so good. I’m very picky when it comes to citrus fragrances but this one is a win win for me. It is sweet and clean. I get watery fruits (perhaps the watery part is coming from the lotus) yuzu and lemon. The dry down is a little more creamy with vanilla and I smell jasmine all the way through. I don’t get patchouli or cedar, those notes are just there to get some longevity. The only issue is you have to over spray a little to get the best projection and sillage otherwise it doesn’t last so long as so typical with citrusy fragrances.

I consider this a nice perfume that would be suited for day and casual wear. The opening of this perfume is a citrusy smell. It has moderate Sillage for the first hour and then it becomes a skin scent after that. Other notes that I perceive on my skin after the first hour are the citruses, and white flowers, a bit of a powdery smell with a trace of vanilla. It is a safe blind buy in my opinion because it is likeable. The only downside on my skin, is that sillage is weak. I have to over spray to get moderate sillage.

I did not have high expectations just going off the notes and blind buying this, but omg this is honestly so so so beautiful, its clean, sensual, airy, sweet but in an angelic way. Hands down my favourite blind buy so far. try this honestly it is stunning.

This is quite a pretty scent. Light, mildly sweet, citrusy, floral. I am shocked and surprised to see it has patchouli. I got the sample before swearing off patchouli and actually find it lovely. Patchouli often completely overwhelms all other notes for me but it is only coming out very, very softly in the dry down. I guess you just never can tell what notes will stand out or not. This is one I could enjoy wearing every once in a while. I am looking forward to trying it on a warm summer day.

Edit: Actually maybe fall? The sandalwood dry down is giving me more of a cozy fall vibe.

Yuzu is fresh and potent, well balanced by fruity notes, vanilla and lotus. It is very different and pleasant. I am now tempted add this bottle in my small collection... feminine daily/office scent, clean yuzu, pleasantly fruity. 4/5

I blind purchased Trussardi Donna 2011 several years ago, and whilst I don't recall why I decided to add this fragrance to my collection, I am pleased that I took a chance on it all those years ago. Trussardi Donna is a luscious white floral with a fruity twist. I greatly enjoyed wearing this fragrance during the warmer seasons and found it quite versatile; wearing it to the office, to more formal occasions and casually at home.

Trussardi Donna opens with an array of tropical fruits, orange blossom, yuzu and jasmine, before settling into a feminine, clean blend of creamy white flowers, patchouli and sandalwood. There's a touch of sweetness in this composition yet it is never overwhelming. The creamy orange blossom and jasmine provide a hint of elegance, however, the tropical fruits are surprisingly flirtatious and carefree. Trussardi Donna is unlike anything I've sampled before and I am beginning to miss it since finishing my full bottle.

When I purchased Trussardi Donna a few years ago I remember it being quite affordable. The cost value of Trussardi's beauty products must have risen considerably, as Trussardi Donna is almost double what I paid. The price hike does bother me slightly but for what it's worth, Trussardi Donna is a quality scent with excellent projection on the skin and great longevity.

I am very pleasantly surprised by this! I received a 2ml sample with a perfume order, looked at the notes, sprayed it on without thinking much, and went about my day. It is so lovely I almost pulled the trigger on a 50ml (before exercising some self-control...Which I am currently struggling with).

I love a good citrus and this one is sweet and tart (stops it from becoming cloying). I am OBSESSED with the dry down! The vanilla doesn't overpower the whole thing and the white florals are nice and clean. I personally wish it was a little more floral and a little less sweet but it's still a love for me. It smells sophisticated but not old.

Today it was sunny but the wind was very cold and it was incredibly pretty. 10/10 (somebody take my card away from me pleaaaaaseeeee 🙏🏻)

I am not yet an avid perfume addict meaning I haven't blown my money on a whole bunch yet. This is my first "sophisticated" "I'm a 22 year old bosswoman and masters student" i bought because or Priyanka chopra and the multiple other great reviews. This is a complex scent with a mysterious trail as I tried to figure out what notes I was smelling. The moment I sprayed, I smelled alcohol which passes soon enough and then a citrus note that hit the front of my nose but distracted me as I looked for the other notes. I became nose blind as I kept sniffing trying to find the other notes. I should have been patient and sprayed less. The dry down is stunning. I sprayed at night and changed my shirt because it was by no means a night scent. it's a beautiful day scent and you have to experience it to know what it smells like. I am happy this is my first mature feminine fragrance thanks to Priyanka chopra. Let's hope I get as many compliments.

I just love this one. My mom gave it to me cus she didn't like it (she wears/likes heavier fragrances) and oh boy am I glad she did! It's so summery and pretty and... gold. I can't describe it :D I just feel like wearing white or very soft colors & gold jewellery with it.

Whoa, I love this for spring and summer. It’s so well blended, bright, citrus, floral with a medium+ amount of sweetness. Safe blind buy if you like citrus, florals with a fair bit of sweetness. I pick up on notes like sandalwood, and the cedar is way in the back of the fragrance almost non-existent they are there to add a bit of deep and ground the sweetness.

This fragrance seems to me really really good. Fantastic use of orange blossom note.it breaks the sweetness and imparts to the scent an ethereal elegance. Very unusual scent as well. Nathalie Lorson seems to be an excellent perfumer.

I only have the lotion and it smells quite similar to Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt.

At first, when I smelled that in store I really loved it. It was long lasting and the smell was really good. So I bought it to myself and my mom. First few days I liked it but idk it smelled different than before. My mom quite liked it at first. Now I don't like it at all, I have it but I rarely use it. My mom on the other hand loves it now.

This is a sweet exotic succulent scent and I can see why Priyanka Chopra recieves so many compliments on it. Although it is very very very similar to Mirada by Avon it has its own uniqueness about it. I think I actually prefer mirada as opposed to Donna though because of the dry down. Donnas drydown is ALMOST cotton candy sweet which I do not like at all and is always a deciding factor for me when it comes to perfumes. It sits close to the skin but still packs enough oil to let the scent linger a bit around you. This fragrance is a fresh bowl of peaches and cream but not in a regular bowl, these peaches and cream will only sit in the finest crystal. If you are a fan of mirada, or Jessica Simpson fancy love I think you’d really enjoy this one.

This is a very beautiful scent. Love it. Wear it to work , very nice to wear in the summer. It has moderate sillage and longevity however if you overspray, it can be quite strong and last for more hours. On my skin i get a lot citruses, vanilla and white floral. Whenever i wear it i feel very fresh and sophisticated.

trussardi bottles are not very nice for, but fragrance is perfect. wow. its very long lasting, have strong sillage, no waterly or alcohol scent. reccomend.

A fresh lemon jam!!

It’s classy, elegant, sophisticated fragrance, it shows a lovely mix between citrus and fresh orange blossom notes!!, I have so many fragrances that contain orange blossom as the main note but most of them are super sweet, whereas here this note is mixed with lemon zest, that gives it a wonderful ftouch of freshness, and that makes me recommend it for spring and summer.
For me it is definitely a memorable and joyful scent, it resembles ARmani code but less sweet.
A love for me!!

Does anyone remember Light?

It was a 2000's scent that didn't get much buzz, was discontinued and this could be a try to reintroduce this idea to a new audience.
It gave me some strong olfactory memories of my early twenties.

Nice fragrance. A bit too classy for a young woman.

When I first bought it I absolutely loved it, for about half a year or more. But nowadays, for some reason, I find it overhelmingly sweet. I smell something like someone left a glass of orange syrup in a very hot and humid room, with some jasmine flower, and they all went dodgy together. :/

This perfume is my go-to for this summer. Very refreshing, citrusy-sour scent with no sweetness at all, a well-rounded not sharp floral and a bit juicy I would say because of the yuzu. I feel clean and like I went out from shower when I wear it. I also grab it with me when I go to the gym and I wear it after my shower in here. Medium sillage, satisfying longevity. It's also inoffensive scent and perfect for work, as to me seems quite elegent. I would wear it all year round especially in warmer months and daytime.

Great fresh summer fragrance. I easily smell the fruity part, but it's more on the citrusy side. I'm not a fan of citrus notes, but for the hot days it's nice. I'm happy in 5 minutes when the fruitiness switches into florals. Relatively cheap flanker, but not that long lasting on me :/

I have a mini of the original Donna (1994). It is very reminiscent of Trussardi for women (white leather bottle) but with less longevity. I dabbed two hours ago and there's very little left, I really have to violently thrust about to get a whiff of it. Classy, floral chypre, very 1980s in my opinion, even though it was created in 1994. Just wanted to point out that the 2011 version, which I also have, has nothing in common with the original. Very light and fresh rose on the new one and nothing of the "1980s" of the original.

It's soft and clean as the bottle colour suggest. Looking at notes I would expect generic fruitchouli, but not...

The opening was very citrussy, fresh and once the scent settled, I get mainly fruity notes - moderately sweet, jasmine underlined with yuzu, vanilla and some sandalwood.

Pleasant, inoffensive safe to go fragrance for spring. Definitely office friendly.

This was almost an instant love for me. A simple like first, but it became a love within a few days. I see myself enjoying this a lot in spring and summer. I would call this a happy sunshine scent. It also reminds me of some other scent, but I can't remember what it is. I don't know a lot about different notes, but I do know that this scent makes me happy :-).

I smelt this on family friend.It was the most lovely creamy vanilla I've ever smelled and I asked her a couple of time what she was wearing and on one Thursday last month,went high and low to hunt for this wonderful fragrance.

I get the candy smell in the initial blast then blends and develops to this lovely vanilla-creamy-floral which smells so much like a hand cream to be honest.Reminds me of the creaminess I get when I tried Chanel Chance.Then it stays like that on me for the rest of the duration.


It is long lasting on me(most fragrances are) and the sillage is not too loud but still,people with get the lovely whiffs from you every time you pass or walk by.

Suitable for your everyday scent throught the year in my opinion

P.S-I think it would be nice to layer this with something that is woody to give it a little oomphf.I'll try it one day if I find a suitable woody fragrance to layer this with.

Wow! I think I Finally found my signature. Loved it from the first sniff. It's Fresh and citrusy at the beginning and than it opens with sweet White flowers; Jasmine and African orange flower (My favorite) Fruity notes are sweet in a natural (not synthetic) way. Fresh, juicy, uplifting on the outside and sweet fruity in the heart. Drydown is soft and creamy, elegant vanilla does it very well here. All feelings in one bottle!
Very Long lasting up to 10hours. Makes me feel like true lady.

I don't know why but my boyfriend LOVES it...Its not sexy but he says it reminds him of his young age.For me it's very elegant and beautiful but doesn't stand out...

My husband sniffed the back of my neck and prounounced “You smell like marmalade!”. I must have given him the side-eye because he thought he’d save himself by declaring “You know.... Sexy marmalade!”. Not entirely sure that sexy marmalade is a thing, but he seems to like it.
Personally, I don’t think it smells like marmalade at all. I love it anyway!

This one is very easy to like, it is really lovely. The opening is a strong jasmine that turns a bit powdery with time. Later on, a light fruity and a light vanilla smell join the jasmine. One hour after the first spray, i can detect the aquatic touch from the lotus, but very soft. A bit o cedar is there too, but for me no patchouli or citrus. It smells very feminine, elegant and laid-back. and very italian (but could work in every climate and country).It is comforting and has a sunny touch to it. I think it is pretty timeless and appropriate for all ages, except maybe very young women. It sits close to the skin.It would be office friendly, but i think it is more appropriate for free days, because it is so relaxing.

The opening reminded me of Truth or Dare by Madonna, but this one is way better.

Would also make a safe blind buy for white floral lovers.

Beautiful summer scent, sweet and very pleasant. I have a tester and tried it few times, love the fragrance and the composition, but it's gone after 30 minutes! Do I have a bad tester? I also have Trussardi My Name and the smell is quite similar to Donna, but it stays for at least 10 hours on my skin. Maybe I'll find and try it in store and see if it'll last longer than my tester...

I have to agree with blake.lee's description of "after taste". After so many great reviews I really wanted to love this perfume and really loved the white bottle as it does say "creamy". That said I didn't get what everyone else does, it starts out a nice creamy floral but then there's this quick aroma... not orange blossom, more like oranges gone bad. I thought to leave it and revisit it again another time... sadly it was the same outcome. I just couldn't get past the smell of bad oranges to get to the dry down.

I'll try it again another season.

I really envy those of you who can smell several different notes because all I can smell is jasmine. And I'm not a fan of jasmine at all still I bought a 30 ml bottle. Maybe it's the notes I can't smell that make the difference. It has even caused me a light headache but I'm thinking I'll apply less. I find it a little bit cool for my taste, a hint of musk would have made it warmer.
The 100 edp comes in spray and splash version with a glass applier on the cap.

I really do not know how a feel about this. There's a fruity creaminess but as you inhale deeper you notice a sharp bitterness underneath. It's like tasting something sweet and delicious with a bad aftertaste. I keep wanting to sniff it though so the initial taste much be be worth the after taste. It's a pretty simple creamy white floral, sharp citrus and touch of fruit. It's light, clean but creamy not soapy. The drydown is mostly a sharp Jasmine and vanilla but it's light.

Trussardi Donna is very sensual and lush when sniffed close by, that is what I love about it. When I spray it around my neck the performance isn't that good, sillage is missing fruityflorals and leaving soft oriental aura. Longevity is moderate.

I bought this perfume online only because Priyanka Chopra said she wears this perfume and the girl gets sooo many compliments on how she smells. ALWAYS! So I had to know what the buzz was about...

When I received the bottle, I was kinda underwhelmed. I mean it smells great don't get me wrong, but definitely not worth all the hype that Priyanka got for it. Maybe it just works better on her skin?

Either way, this perfume is very nice! It's a creamy white flower smell. Something for a hot summer day. It kinda reminded me of 360 Degrees by Perry Ellis.
It also has a slight citrus smell to it but dries down to a nice floral/creamy smell. It like citrus wrapped in a creamy milk.
A non-offensive, safe, easy pleasing smell.
I have gotten some compliments on it, but it's just not what I was expecting.

It lasts about 4 hours on my skin and it's not too overpowering (which I love).

Donna is the epitome of elegance and feminility of every woman that wears this perfume. It's true that it has a particular italian vibe but it suits perfectly every girl/woman that has good taste, a simple yet chic style that gets distinguished from the crowd not only due to the way she acts or dresses but also due to the perfume she wears. In my opinion this is one of the most stunning and special oriental florals in the market and I hope it never gets discontinued. Besides, the composition features my favourite notes which are the white florals, vanilla and sandalwood plus the fruity notes that confer this scent its youthful style and make the frag itself different from the other perfumes of the same family.And the sour taste of the notes of amalfi lemon and yuzu gives that slight fresh aura that goes blending heavenly with the rest of the composition. Worth trying and worth buying.It doesn't disappoint not even a bit.

I was cleaning my room and found a sample of this perfume. I remember having tried it, but I couldn't remember it, so I sprayed a bit. And it was a mistake, because I fell in love immediately and purchased a 30 ml bottle!:)
The opining is a fresh, juicy citrus wave which turns into a beautiful bouquet of white flowers, but still keeps that sparkling citrus vibe. Feminine, but not girly. Refreshing, but certainly not a regular summer "lemon/ cucumber water". Classic, but not over the top. More a day time fragrance, but I would wear it in the evening as well. A reviewer below has compared this perfume to a high quality fruit juice, and I completely understand that, only on my skin it's more a "flower juice", if it makes sense.
As it gets warmer on my skin, the magic transformation begins - I clearly get an echo of the Mugler's "Alien" (just much more flowery, much lighter and a bit gourmand, maybe a flanker of "Alien"). I recognize that warm, slightly bitter jasmine nuance. Trussardi "Donna" actually is a million miles away from "Alien", but this vibe keeps hunting me now and then like a phantom. And I love it!

Here is the picture: elegant young lady driving her cabriolet along the Amalfi coast road. The blue of the sky meets the blue of the sea, the breeze from the sea mixed with the light scent of fleur d'orange, jasmin and the sunshine.
This is "Donna". The bright, light and very uplifting, but at the same time elegant and chic fragrance. Very friendly in terms of projection, having a moderate staying power. Perfect for spring and summer, great as an office partner.

Very citric opening, really get the lemon, but this fades within minutes to a jasmine vanilla scent. Pretty and nice for spring/summer but in the same vein as cinema, calyx, and a lighter opium vapeurs....nothing amazing sorry.

It opens so fruity. Exactly as I imagined from the notes listed. The fruitiness was not overpowering, it could be described as very pleasant instead. Usually, i don't like the initial smell of a scent. Seems quite strong and makes me nautious. But this one was a delight from the very beginning.

After a few minutes, i start to smell the jasmin.Oh god how good can this smell. I fell in love with it.

It is not heavy and not overpowering.Lasting power is very good as well! It is THE summer scent. Reminds me of nights in a greek island. This smells exactly like my summers.

Received these as a present because I would never buy a fruity perfume myself - I'm afraid of scents like cheap tutti frutti shower gels (which I used to adore as a teenager). This scent is good! It reminds me of multivitamin juice which probably sounds like a stupid comparison, but there are those budget, watered down multivitamin juices, and then there are those rich, pulpy, pungent, organic (LOL) multivitamin juices, and this is what Donna is to me - a nice bottle of freshly squeezed ripe juice. After 15-20 minutes the juice is changed by green tea with lots of citrus (though I have no idea where this green tea comes from, I definitely can smell it). Donna is a daytime perfume, springtime perfume, grown up perfume. Worth a try!

This parfume stars with a clean scent, then changes into a warm fruity scent with a bit of bitter-woody scent to balance the sweetness. Personaly it reminds me of Juicy couture and Fantasy by Britney Spears BUT it's not heavy as these ones. It lasts very long and closes with a sweet powdery scent. Love it!!!!

Very fresh and clean scent, perfect for spring, has an incredible sillage, even though the staying power on me is not so great, 3-4 hours max.

Amazing women's scent

When I sprayed it;first it was completely fruity;citrus dominant and fresh,..then jasmin and orange blossom appears and turns the girly scene to a more womanly type.. as time passes vanilla shows itself in a soft& creamy way and adds sweetness and warmth to it
I used this 3 seasons(except winter) and really loved it..I've always loved this combination vanilla+citrus+floral(jasmin+orange blossom)...cause it is delicious also fresh..donna trussardi reminds me cinema and dior addict but this one is a milder and lighter version with less warmth & vanilla but more citrus notes

I had been flirting with this perfume at the stores for quite a while... always loved how it smelled on a paper strip or when I sprayed it in the air. When I finally tried it on my skin, it turned out to be sweet and pleasant. Also the fruity notes are really standing out at first, but in some time the white flower appears, eventually I can mostly smell something reminiscent of a sweet lemon/orange tea. All in all - a "like" for me.
Sillage is ok and longevity also, it stays quite a while on my skin.

A gorgeous white flowers day scent...I love White flowers and Trussardi Donna is one of the best reresentants of the Combo orange-Jasmin with a tinge of fruits at the end.

This is a creamy, Velvet, alluring and very refined scent. It opens fresh and then the Jasmin-orange duo turn into an airy creamy scent, due to the fruits touch.

Really well composed...elegant, extremely feminine, perfect for Office or any day time occasion.

Nil3, I'm so disappointed to read this. I was planning to buy it and since I trust your nose I don't think I will, because I didn't try it on my skin, just on paper strip.

Now that I have a full bottle that I purchased with 50% off, I sadly have to say that it has zero projection and sillage on me. Zero.

End of this month the 100ml bottle will probably be empty since I bathe in it.
Ah well, I do enjoy the first 30-45 though.

This was gifted to my husband. We both didn't know at that time that it is a female perfume. But every time he wears it, I get a feeling of remembering something that is close to my heart but couldn't really tell. So one day, out of the blue, he just told me that I could have this. Since I like the scent of it on him, I said, hell yeah, why not! So when I began to use it on my skin, it is like going back in time when I was using Jessica Simpson's Fancy Love. I freaking loved it! Since I could no longer get a hold of Fancy Love, I can say that this can be a good replacement. Staying power is great, lasts the whole day on me.

This did... Definitely not smell like I imagined from the reviews. This has such spectacular top notes - really great sweet citrus there, but they don't even last a minute on me. Then this turns into something that smells a lot like Hypnose from Lancôme on me. My sister loves that perfume, but personally, I don't like it at all. Both of these perfumes turn sickly sweet on me. It actually smells a little like Cinema from YSL.... Mixed with Hypnose. It has that Cinema-like vanilla-citrus smell. I dislike Cinema too.

This is: sharply sweet, but not the regular gourmand. Orange blossom and orange fruit, possibly with a little bit of starfruit, some purple plum, lots of yuzy (creates a kind of powderiness), sweet red apple. To me, this is mainly fruity, not flowery. It's also powdery, but not the regular type of powdery... Like Tarte Smooth Operator, if you've ever breathed that in... Or dry shampoo-powder. Smells like heat - like when you heat up an iron. Not what I associate with fresh: too sweet for that.

Recommend this to those who like Hypnose, but would like something lighter for summer

Some people compare this to Chance eau Fraiche by Chanel and D&G Light blue - I disagree (I have had both of these)! Some have even claimed this is office-friendly... I would really dislike smelling this half of the day - even a few minutes of this makes me nauseated

This one smells so soft and fruity and feminine! It reminds me a lot of Annick Goutal Petite Chérie, which is weird because they only have the vanilla note in common. For me Donna is a better, "rounder" version of Petite Chérie, and while I see Petite Chérie as a spring scent, this one could easily be worn all year around.

YSL Cinema in TRussardi bottle

Gorgeous perfume! Didn't buy it right away, because I wanted to test it on my skin. So, it's 2 hours since I sprayed it on my wrist and.... I can smell absolutely NOTHING! I'm sooo sad.

Trussardi Donna 2011 is very different from anything else I have ever smelled. It is distinctive in so many ways. At first, you can smell the citrus, and something pleasantly sweet, later on, it opens into beautiful oriental blossom and takes you to a different world. I do not know the original Donna (some people say that it is even more perfect), however, this fragrance to me is a perfection and gives me everything I ever wanted from an EDP. The only drawback is that it lasts only about 4 hours so you have to reapply relatively soon, but still, day and night eso es MAGNIFICO!

OK, so this is how it goes:

0- 20 minutes after application: I love this scent. The cool and warm notes seem to me perfectly balanced, without resulting in anything masculine.

20-50 minutes: it's ok. Nice fresh/warm drydown, but nothing to write home about.

50+ minutes: I have applied a scent an hour ago and can trace some residual notes if I try real hard.

Bought it in December and wore it for the first time on Christmas Eve. It's summer here, in Montevideo, Uruguay, South america, and it was a splendid Summer night though, fortunately, not very hot. I really enjoyed this fragrance and felt it very well in me that night. (10th. Jan. 2015).

This is how i imagine a floral/fruity sent should be like! Light ,happy,delicious ,giving me a better mood, making me feel cleaner and more colorful like i leave a trail of fresh cut citrus fruits and flowers behind me in a sunny field! Great for spring and summer ,but also for sunny days of winter if you like the extra freshness :) wonderful...i believe it will compliment the special way every woman expresses her femininity not cover it.

This is one of my very favourite scents. I am not sure exactly how to describe it. I do not get citrus when I wear it. On me it is more of a fruity/flowery vanilla scent, without being overly sweet. It is, at the same time soft, feminine and yet powerfully confident. Maybe this is why I like it so much. It defies a good description. It has great staying power, lasts all day on me and for a few days on clothes. It feels good for a special occasion, but also for an every-day boost of confidence. It only takes 1 spray to make me happy during the day and for evenings 2-3 for a more pronounced amount of feminine confidence. I don't think you can go wrong with this one.

:) how delicious...when I was a kid, there was a French marshmallow candy, with the same scent like this perfume. I could almost feel the taste again, and it was decades ago...Although it is not in gourmand category here, to me is very edible and not less feminine because of that.

I love love love this fragrance! On initial spray, my friend and I both looked at each other and went "meh." After about a minute it settled into the skin though, and then neither of us could stop smelling it. Less than a week later, we both went back and bought it.

It is a very classy sweet floral, the sort of sophisticated scent you would wear on a date to a fancy restaurant. The bottle reflects the fragrance perfectly: simple, but elegant. I can't wait to wear this with a sheath dress, heels, and just a bit of jewelry. True understated beauty, this one.

A man's opinion,,, I would love my girl to smell like this. and by girl I mean a lady. Because this is a perfume for a FINE BEAUTIFUL LADY with a Flawless Figure in a white short dress. WoW

I don't know why but I couldn't smell anything... I tried over and over. The sale assistant sprayed it twice on me and nothing! I don't know...mysterious thing!

At first it is amazing, absolutely charming, soft & delicate. However, after a while it starts to be very fruity. I can't smell any flowers, to be honest.

I just got a bottle a few days ago and I'm loving it! It starts citrusy, but the other notes are also noticeable at first spray. The lemon together with the orange blossom make it exciting, but the base notes keep it warm and welcoming, and a bit mysterious. It makes me think of going out with an ex-boyfriend you used to be so in love with, when years after he suddenly calls and wants to see you. The same combination of excitement and familiarity. It makes me think of sunset on the beach. Or flying to a far-away place.

Silage and longevity are quite good. I think it is right for a spring/summer night. Probably also a daytime frag for fall, maybe winter. I'll have to wait and see... It is not a daytime summer frag, IMO. Not light enough. Good for almost any age, maybe not for very young girls.

Perfumes it reminds me of: Gaultier Classique (is it the orange blossom?), and something about the feeling it gives reminds me a bit of the long-discontinued, wonderful, L'Occitane Almond Blossom Dew. How I miss it!

It is not oriental floral, but delicate floral with a tough of Patchouli and sweetness. Beautiful and sophisticated, the best of Trussardi in my opinion. Great longevity and elegance, has a nice niche quality with development, I am so happy I found it.

I feel like every time when I spary this perfume on my skin it smells different. Sometimes it's very soft and creamy, other times it's crisp and citrusy. Either way it smells classy. Great for spring time. But I can see myself wearing it even on summer evenings when I go out for a drink. Also this perfume is very long lasting, so you don't need to reapply it throughout the day.

The bottle is so chic. It kind of makes want to wear all white and accessorise with gold jewellery.

This was a fantastic surprise! I happened to sniff this beauty yesterday and purchased it without hesitation! Feminine, floral and with grounding woody notes that create the most delightful smell that gets noticed. It's a wonderful fragrance - highly recommended!

OMG, i recently bought this perfume and it's my new favorite..On my skin i smell the white floral and citrus..It smells so gooooooooooodddddddd and it does last long...

Tested this on a cool rainy day in humid Singapore at around 24 deg celcius. I hemmed and hawed buying this, but I enjoyed this perfume so much I almost regretted it instantaneously while I was buying Ange ou Demon le secret. Completely different characters, I know, with this being more citrus and heavy and sensual with the creamy orange blossom. As peoplpe have mentioned, very light and breezy, owing to the bright citrus.

I enjoyed the creaminess of the heart and the sparkling character of the top notes - lovely yuzu and lemon! On my skin the sillage is heavy, posssibly because I sprayed twice. It smells a little too mature for my age though, I am twenty this year and the sensual jasmine and slightly masculine cedar made the perfume heady but intriguing all the same. I received compliments while wearing this, though the same people noted that while gettinng occasional whiffs were lovely, I had sprayed too much and it became nausea-inducing. This is especially so when the sandalwood starts creeping in, making for a very heady (not in the good way) smell.

Two hours later, the jasmine and orange flower has faded and patchouli takes centerstage, along with woody sandalwood. I like patchouli, but too much gives me a headache.

Three hours later and the vanilla enters.

I love the top notes and the heart, unfortunately, for some reason, my skin chemistry really brings out woody/musky notes really well. Pity, because I might have bought a bottle for its longevity.

It is delicious floral, fruity scent. Sweet. I really enjoy sniffing if. It's getting very popular - a lot of people are wearing it. Also seems to be long-lasting and quite strong.

I sniffed this today, patchouli/lemon/yuzu/lotus compo, I can call it a citruschouli scent ..
To me it smells as a mix of CL Euphoria & D&G light blue, a bit masculine.

I tested this today, along with Trussardi's My Name and Delicate Rose, and I'm loving it. Of the three it's my favorite.

Firstly, the bottle is simple, stylish and classy looking and I loved the fact that there was a little tag around the neck detailing the notes, from top to bottom, and giving a brief description of some of them.

The perfume itself is lovely ... light, fresh, breezy and, as someone else has commented, very Mediterranean feeling. It reminds me a little of Lancome's O D'Azur and perhaps Chanel's Chance Eau Fraiche as it has a similar refreshing, energizing vibe.

I've had it on for almost 24 hours now and so far I can still smell it so the staying power is excellent. All in all this is a great discovery for me and it's zoomed into my perfume Wish List .... I need a bottle NOW ! !

I have this perfume and I like it ....I think that this perfume is very special,I love perfumes but I change them very often .......I can't explain why.....

At the moment I don't use this parfum because I find it very soft, for winterday's. But for my little daughter it's just perfect! :-) I use the bodylotion on her skin. The Lotus and Sandlewood make it a perfect night-time scent! It somehow gives a very Zen-feeling! After her bath I put this on and it smells really great. ;-) so because of her I enjoy it still.

A few years ago I bought a little bottle. The fragrance was well done but I was not really impressed by it, so I put the bottle away and I forgot it. I find it this morning, the weather was not good and I needed something soft. So I tried it again. Oh.. but this fragrance is beautiful! Did I change my taste? Maybe. Trussardi Donna is classy, elegant, easy to wear. On my skin it is just a little spicy and sweet, but never cloying. It'is not a masterpiece but this fragrance is decorous.

Very successful creation from Trussardi, it fits current trends, yet it has an effortlessly classy, refined feel. It hardly has any 'oriental' touch but it packs a great Mediterranean punch - citruses, white flowers, very breezy and fresh. Very elegant, rather clean and luxurious floral scent. Reminds me of sun, seashore, yachts, sparkling champagne and obligatory massive sunglasses.

Perfectly blended, a lovely, creamy, soft white floral smell that has a freshness to it thanks to the orange/fruits.

I don't get so much fruit here, I mainly get a very creamy, kind of milky floral scent. I fell in love with this perfume on my holiday in Greece. I was desperatly searching for something to wear and came across this one. I do like white bottles.

It's a good one, not a "eye catcher, or nose catcher" but it's certainly a very beutiful and well composed perfume. And I do have a weekness for creamy florals in white bottles! :)

This is the second time I'm testing this fragrance. I'm not the one to describe fragrances so well but... this smells like a fine lady & I mean fine like a fine wine, so clean & feminin & reminds me somehow of my primary school teachers, they were fine ladies & yeah they seemed rich & smelled so nice & clean. I may get a bottle as it's such a fine fragrance & I'm a huge fan of luxury ♥

Oh my god, this perfume makes me weak in the knees it's so good! It's everything I look for in a fragrance. It is sweet, fresh an little creamy, BRIGHT! I definitely smell the yuzu, the orange flower and the heavenly fruity notes. When I first spritz it I get a delicious almost bubble gummy note. Reminds me of the yellow Wriggle's fruit gum I used to get as a kid and makes me litterally want to inhale my arm until I can't no more and then eat it :) I always find it funny when people start comparing pefumes to other fumes in reviews cause when I read it I'm always like "WHAAAT??! So and so smellst NOTHING like so and so!" And this time its no different. See this being compared to among others to Armani Code. Simply could not disagree more. I really dislike Armani Code and find absolutley nothing in it that could be remotely similiar to Trussardi Donna. It's so weird how people seem to perceive smells totally differently. I do however agree with 1Tanya, I feel that Donna could indeed be classified as a classier but also a bit sweeter version of D&G light blue. Imagine a beautiful day in Italy. Sun is shining, clear blue skies, bowl full of oranges on the table, geletto ice-cream store on the corner and the breeze bringing you whiffs of all sorts of delicious ice-cream flavours. You're walking around blowing bubbles with your fruit gum, the sun hitting your face, not a care in the world. Combine all those sensations put them in a bottle and you've got yourself a Trussardi's Donna :)

Soft and creamy. A light but long-lasting scent that stays fairly close. Starts out fresh with a touch of citrus, dries down to a softer slightly floral vanilla. Feels like summer in Italy!

Oh my god..!! This is an amazing fragrance! I am a fragrance junky and it doesn't happen often that I fall for a fragrance immediately. Most of the time I have a 'mwoah it's okay experience'. This is quite nice. Suitable for every age, adequate for spring/summer. Not wow, but good and decent.

To me this is nice light floral, long lasting and suitable for anywhere and any age group. I smelled it in Europe and had to buy one, very enjoyable, i wish there would be more trussardi frags on american market.

I got this as a Bday present.Not bad, but reminds me too much of Max Mara Le Parfum.White flowers, clean feeling. Nothing original and distinctive.

I really like this scent, because I find it very uplifting. The Yuzu comes out with fruity notes in a very juicy way. Then there is something creamy about it. I haven't met another scent like this yet. If at all, it reminds a little of Jardin de Sicile by Derroisne (but Derroisne has got no staying power and not the cream). I agree with those who say it reminds them of sunny Italy. Usually I'm not into citrusy scents, but I like this one. It's a good daytime or office scent. It's strong but not overpowering. Just the lasting power could be better.

Similar to Lanvin Marry Me, which I adore because every time I smell it, it makes my mouth water instantly... and not in a gurmand way.

I've tried this first on blotting paper and I was impressed with the scent, so I've desided to try it on my skin. The opening and the drydown were very nice, but the middle part it came very strong to my nose, almost suffocating. And this just from on spritz on my neck. I blame for this the combo between jasmin and lotus.It lasted 6 hours on my skin and the sillage was good.

Is this limited (coz it says 2011)?

The next one on my wish list. Good for this fall instead of Trussardi Jeans. I thought i'll never find the replacement. And this is perfect - feminine and sophisticated.

It opened sweet and fruity, then became lightly floral then almost spiced (because of the sandalwood and vanilla maybe) with an odd citrus note probably due to the yuzu. After a while the patchouli prevails. This is the first time I can smell the full pyramid in its actual order. It's a nice fragrance wich lasts easily for hours but in my personal opinion is too subtle, you need to be close to smell it, and I'm also not a patchouli lover.

This is a wonderful one, a soft fragrance. Delicate and enchanting. In a fresh and expense with a fruity tear.
