This smelled like it had so much potential but just went awful testing it on my sleeve, started out very cheap candy-like, then had a brief time as a tart green fruit scent, not my thing but generically good, and then it turned into a mixture of garbage, musty old fruit and the inside of an emptied candy bag, quite terrible, but still definitely smells like the type of scent that could react pleasantly with certain people's skin, did not go well with my cotton sleeve though and I prefer wearing fragrance on a sleeve or collar, definitely sample before buying full bottle to see how it reacts with your chemistry

I am not usually someone who reaches for fresh, citrusy scents when it comes to perfume. But this, is so lovely! To me, this smells like an expensive shampoo (in the best way) that would be used in a spa and this smell stays pretty much the same and continues throughout the day. The lasting power on this is great (for me) and I can smell this all day and I don’t find I need to re-apply. A great scent to go for if you like fresh, citrus smells 🍋🫧

Snicole82

A lot of citrus and very much basic. No particular note stands out. This is a nice summer scent if you just want a summer citrus scent. Longevity is is pretty good and lasts a whole 24 hours on clothes. Sillage is okay.

Løpasdfkdf

If you like citrusy and fressia flower this could be something for you. Nothing out of this world. It feels fresh when is very warm outside. Kind of citrusy with a touch of cedar.

Like a perfum who is citrusy, does not last that long. I think you need to overspray it. It will last kind of 5-6 hours. Its a perfume to smell good in the heat. Its fresh, clean, zesty.

Shekupe

Does not smell bad but its just a little bit strong. Somewhat fresh. Its not my favorite.
i will give it a 6.5/10.

VioletGasoline

This perfume isn't strong at all, at least for me, that is, it has the smell of grocery bags waiting to be used. I actually cannot smell this perfume.

Bibimarq09

Got a sample and it smells like a mix between windex and fabuloso. Like when you walk into a business and they just cleaned the bathroom so it smells like chemicals and flowery citrus air freshener mixed with bleachy toilet water. Not for me.

mercedizzy

I got told this is a mature fragrance, how???
This is exactly what 12 year old me would’ve died for, this whole line is the most juvenile and generic versace scents - and i fucking love it

Shvraz

It's been about 4 years since I've smelled this. I wish I could smell it again.

paupadua

It's fresh, clean, powdery, woody and citrusy scent that smells expensive... or a high-end tropical fragrance. I love it...perfect for island vacations and luxury travels.

mewmewpinki

So I can def smell the citrus in the bottle but when its on me the citrus vanishes and it just smells like a glossy paged book if you get what i mean T-T, It's not HORRIBLE its just not good on me :

sprayme

i love this. it’s the perfect hot weather fragrance. it smells like how a luxe spa would smell. lasting power is good. to me, this is a casual summer scent for day time. it’s all one smell, to me, from beginning to end, like a big fog. i havnt tested it out in humid heat yet. the bottle color and form is good looking. ive gotten compliments on this. love the idea of the notes together. if you want a freshy scent for summer, but dont like lemony scents, maybe you’ll like this.

Suigintou

Found my replacement for Lolita Lempicka's discontinued Fleur de Corail 😍 Very similar vibes. Lovely tropical beach perfume

kassn

Received a sample of this and it's one of my new favourite fragrances. Initially starts rather floral, but it dries so beautifully. It's such a clean, fresh, almost laundry-like scent, with a perfect degree of pungency. I love floral scents, but find that they tend to be too strong -- this strikes a perfect balance, likely because of that citrus note. My only wish is that the smell lasted a little longer.

vanillashpice

It gives serious freshener vibes .. and I tend to LIKE those type of perfumes that people say smell like Floor cleaner and air freshener but this smells like furniture polish lol! Sorry not sorry but wtf ! It does manage to smell luxe and I can see a Greek with gold skin pulling this off but for anyone else it’s going to be too much . Versace Eros eau de Parfum is far better in terms of a lemon forward scent .. if you’re here for the guava no it is entirely drowned out by the CHEMICAL BUBBLE this creates. This is one of the most chemical, synthetic smells I’ve come across and imo the bar for Versaces Fragrance quality is so … low. Just save your money or get this on Amazon or fragrancenet with a heavy discount IF YOU MUST. It resembles furniture polish and that’s not an exaggeration, I like Mojave ghost , Chanel Chance eau fraiche, Dkny be delicious, light blue , turquatic etc etc . I love a good freshie, this is abrasive. I really only see like a sexy car salesman or jeweler pulling this off someone in a suit . I don’t know why but I can see this being pulled off by someone who means business but even then, it’s more of a work , clean scent . Very clean , like bathe in bleach. Nobody else could or would probably wear this casually because it’s going to follow you around and you’re going to get wafts of windex, unless you like that and want that.

Gabsp28

When I tried this in the shop I wasn't keen, I was then gifted the mini set, so I tried it, wasn't impressed. Now this is the third time using it and I'm really enjoying it. I'm not usually a fan of citrus scents, but this is done well. I'm still not sure if I will get a full bottle, as I have quite a few fresh summery fragrances. This perfume is a great example why I try perfumes more than once, and on my skin before coming to a conclusion

For me, Versace Dylan Turquoise (alongside Light Blue Intense) represents the quintessential Italian perfumery. The affordable Italian perfumes. Casual, carefree, holiday type, light, breezy, citrusy, fresh, musky, fruity-floral with a hint of woods in the background.

Dylan Turquoise has a bright, freshly squeezed lemon opening mixed with some sweetness from mandarins and a hint of spiciness from pink pepper. What makes this scent stand out from other citrusy summertime scents is the addition of a guava note, which takes Dylan Turquoise into a more tropical, exotic direction. The white flowers, freesia and jasmine, are beautifully layered with musk, cedar and other woods.

I think one could figure by now that Dylan Turquoise is a love for me! This is a beautiful, soft, white floral that’s lightly sweet and has a touch of bright, clean, fresh and zesty citrus. The base notes of musk, clearwood and cedar become more prominent as time goes on and the smell lingers on skin, but it still subtle during dry down. The citruses are the forefront of Dylan Turquoise..

Season wise, I enjoy wearing this particularly during summertime days, with sunny skies and warm temperatures. Just like the bottle looks like: turquoise glass bottle, with a yellow, shiny cap!

Performance is not the best, as with most of these type of scents, projects a lot at first, for about half an hour, but then settles into a delicate, intimate citrusy floral that sweetens the longer it sits on the skin!

Velvette

This scent is like a postcard from Italy - The opening is full of lemon, although a slightly artificial lemon which reminded me of lemoncello liqueur, very clean and refreshing. After dry down it didn't seem to change very much although the freesia did come through nicely. This didn't have much staying power and although it was very pleasant it seemed rather pale and ghostly somehow.

dietvanillapepsi

A fragrance i grew to love, really gorgeous subtle woody fragrance. the citrus comes off as a really fresh sweet note thats perfect for a day out. More mature audience and not so much for those who only enjoy mass marketed gourmands (calling myself out here.) I didn't originally like this but after wearing it for some time I absolutely love it! Amazing for a summer dinner after a long day at the beach.

Aquapinkmoon

I love that this is different to your basic fresh, citrus perfume, the guava adds a really juicy sweetness. And unlike others on the market, this fresh sweet scent stays the whole wear and doesn’t turn overly musky. The longevity is moderate but silage is super good, I received a compliment from a family member after spraying once on my shirt:) I’ve almost used up the tester decant and really want to get a full bottle, unfortunately this is really expensive so I’m hanging on to my 10ml decant

pistachioreo

Rich lady on a beach on the Mediterranean vibes, sophisticated, not particularly daring. Lemon and pink pepper a little sharp, I like this scent on a warm sunny day.

Optimus_Mom

It’s what I imagine the Goddess of Spring, Persephone’s fart would be. Fresh, fruity, and wonderful then gone just as quickly.

jadepo21

Put me in the camp who smells Windex and men's body wash. This is just kind of synthetic and generic. But it has lasting power to the nth degree. It survived a shower, which is not a good thing when you're trying to wash it off.

Dave12

You are on the balcony in Mauritius looking at the turquoise waters glisten and west coast is playing in the background the curtains are waving in the wind and the waves are crashing onto the shore you sip your mojito this is what this perfume smells like to me. I bought it specifically for my trip to Mauritius and it is my summer vacation scent. I only wear it when I’m by the ocean in summer to me it smells of Mauritius and swimming in the ocean. I get a lot of citrus and fruity notes on this fragrance it has a truly tropical vibe very clean and fresh it doesn’t last the longest (About 5 hours) but if you layer the shower gel and body gel (lotion) with the fragrance it lasts a bit longer. I like this fragrance a lot

lolllee2nd

I really like Dylan Blue and Dylan Turqoise is also nice! It's more fresh woodsy citrus which I like. I love lemon and Dylan Turqoise has a nice lemon and light wood scent I'm looking forward to trying in summer. I'm glad I tried a sample first as I don't usually like freesia but it's nice with the light wood and citrus. Cedar usually turns sour on me and maybe it is here too it just blends in with the lemon. I quite like it. It gets warmer as it dries down but I still get that fresh lemony note.

Áurea.Irise

I tried it in the store this morning thinking I would find something new and special, but I didn't.

It is a fresh, aquatic perfume, very pleasant, and easy to wear, but I expected something more, especially since I had seen some very good reviews about it. They said it drove men crazy, and that it was a very seductive perfume, but I really don't see why.

I see it more for summer days, on the beach, or to wear during the day. It's nice but I don't think it says much. I like that after a few hours the skin has a clean aroma, mixed with woods and a very delicate and soft musk.

Phedre1981

Smells like money, not literally. Reminds me of expensive stores and those times when you want to feel frivolous, spoil yourself, not think too much and just go shopping and screw everything else.

AlliCat1215

I really do like the scent as it’s a fresh lemony aquatic scent perfect for summer days or times where you just want a light fresh scent, like the gym. But I found performance lacking as is typical with these types of scents.

Amufti

This smells like a mean step mom to me. However, I could imagine this would be really nice in Miami!

Rockwinn

This is so-so for me. It does smell okay, but I swear it reminds me of the perfumes some people reserve for use in an office setting. To me it smells fresh, but corporate. Like, an office with big windows on a sunny day and you're feeling particularly productive.

foonenky

Reminds me of jackfruit, but with lemon squeezed on it. The dry down is a bit too woody for me, but I like it in general. I got it for a low price on Mercari, but wouldn't pay full price for it.

jellybeantree

I bought a 30 ml of this fragrance because I tried it in the store and liked it. As it is an edt I was a bit weary of its lasting power. Well let me tell you that this lasts 8 hours on me and I can’t believe it. This lasts longer than niche fragrances I own. I am wearing it in cold temperatures. I’m doing the opposite of what it’s made for and it’s working for me. It’s fruity without being overly sweet and the florals give it a fun sophisticated vibe. This is a definite win.

smelling.sniffing.swan

Initially hitting you with a fairly hefty amount of very sweet citrus. Lemon, a bit of grapefruit. Plenty of acidity in the beginning, perhaps some pineapple in there. Underneath is a quite synthetic smelling fresh peppery marine.
As it begins to soften down, some jasminey white florals take centre stage grounded by a lively muskiness. Acidity also dies down fairly quickly and is replaced with a generic sweetness.
Opening is unisex, but the dry-down leans quite firmly feminine.
Definitely not entirely dissimilar to a victoria's secret body spray.

VERDICT: This smells very cheap and cheerful to me. Youthful. Harmless fun. Sexy. Pretty one dimensional. it certainly isn't re-inventing the wheel. There is much better out there at this price.
UPDATE: Had to be washed off after a couple hours, florality become claustrophobic and sickly.

FlowerSeeker

Love the turquoise bottle and the aquatic notes. The cedar was a little strong for me, similar to a men’s cologne.

barbieswanlake

When I bought this perfume initially I was not sold on it: the lady in the store told me it was Hailey Bieber’s favourite which is really not the way to sell me things, and I was rather unsure about the citrus notes. However after letting it sit for a while as I shopped I thought you know what? I absolutely could do with this perfume, and the free bag that it comes with. Since I bought it in 2019 I have taken the obviously cheap Versace weekender out on countless adventures- and worn Dylan Turquoise even more. It’s my go to when I visit the top of my country; it’s just wonderful in hot weather, I find the flowery notes especially jasmine sticks around wonderfully with the more musky, woody notes and every time I smell it I feel as if I’m in the midst of summer spending far too much money going to endless concerts

iheomagu

This is a citrusy, slightly fruity, and musky scent. Perfect for this hot days that don’t need a heavy fragrance. I see myself reaching for this when I’m not looking to attract any attention or on gym days. I like it.

OzzyEyes

Such strong musk! I really don't like it, I had to wash it off. Very cheap smelling, disappointed as I generally like Versace.

_Aerides

After using this for about six months it has become my fave perfume ever 😻. On my skin it radiates a gorgeous musky scent bubble and the smell lasts all day, super fresh and clean, a tad bit sweet, perfectly unisex leaning femenine. I agree with a previous reviewer on that something in the drydown reminds of wet soil, like a rainy vibe 🩵

Fruity, woody, citrusy, slightly spicy and very musky, love love love Versace 😽💖

Cakegod

I strictly only use this once summer comes around and it never fails to get me excited about visiting the ocean & all the summer adventures that will be in store. On me, the citrus and guava are very strong but then after a couple of hours, it nicely dries down to a musky, aquatic scent. Everyone that has smelled this on me has always complimented the scent as it very pleasant to smell and projects quite well. I will agree that it definitely isn’t innovative or trend setting. However, considering i wear this when its 90°F and hotter… smelling something not so complicated, fresh and pleasing for everyone around me is quite nice. I will also say that this scent has a sentimental value to it for me, so that can definitely be why I’m more biased than the rest. Because of all the mixed reviews, I would advise this not be a blind buy.

fragheadny

Something in this smells like moldy fruit??? At least on my skin. I loved the opening and had high hopes for this, but I kept getting whiffs of something rotten throughout the next few hours. I was horrified when I realized it was me.

Zizuuu

This is so pretty until an hour in. You can barely even get a whiff of this no matter how closely you try sniffing your clothes. I know it's an EDT but I've had body mists last way longer. I got the 100ml after testing a sample and loving it, and finished just finished my entire bottle. It's so pretty after a shower in the summer, really lovely yacht vacation vibes but I wish this lasted longer. Overtime it got boring to me. Love the guava note though. The bottle is absolutely gorgeous too.

LadyIva

This one is so weak that it barely qualifies as a perfume at all. Projection and longevity are worse than with some body mists or colognes. Even though it's cheap, it's worth buying only for the striking bottle (if one is into this very colourful, kitschy Versace aesthetic).

AlexandraRoseD

Was very excited about this parfume when I tried it a year ago so I bought it on the spot.

Used half of a 50 ml bottle and could not bring myself to finish the rest.

Overall a boring sweet/citrus safe parfume, performs better in really hot weather, otherwise it smells too sweet.

Zen by Shesido or Gabrielle Essense are much better in this category with more depth and personality.

Better to try a few times before buying.

Queencupid

With how many citrusy cleaning products there are on the market, someone is always going to make the comparison between citrus fragrances and cleaning products. Do not let that deter you. I’m typically not a fan of citrus in fragrances, but Dylan Turquoise is a beautifully balanced, unisex, citrusy musk fragrance. I reach for this one going to job interviews and the like, it’s inoffensive, versatile, and rather pretty. My favorite of the Dylan family. If you’re not usually one for citrus, give this one a sniff at your local Ulta/Sephora!

p4triciah

My 3rd time buying fragrance, I wore it for my 21st birthday in Greece, it’s so lovely. imagine a mellow fruity guava cocktail garnished with a lemon slice and the glass is rimmed with sugar... the lemon is not too over piercing in my opinion as some reviews may say. I personally love it, my signature scent. I’m so fond of it as I have great memories attached to it. Definitely one to take on a sunny destination. I unfortunately only get 4 hours wear… I love it nonetheless

dj71

I agree with the review below when they stated that this is reminiscent of a cleaning product. To my nose, this comes across as soapy lemon, so definitely give me a cleaning product vibe. I've smelled all three in the Dylan line, and this is, by far, the least enjoyable.

Thykes10

I definitely get citrus in opening but it's sharp, not refreshing or crisp. I get a cleaning product vibe in the opening. Luckily that goes away after like 30 minutes but by then the scent is barely detectable on my skin...

This one is just a no for me.

Hannehoney

I love the first 10 minutes, when I can smell the guava, but after that this smells like Aqua di Gio for men mixed with Coco Chanel...its too sharp and it gave me a headache :( I like citrus scents but this one is just too masculine on my skin. Love the bottle though.

KrisGreen

REFORMULATION ADVISORY.

Ok this scent is wonderful. Was on release date, and still is just as much passing its first reformulation. Went through 7 bottles to verify this from different batch dates. What’s missing is some of that “sultry sea salt” that was in the background. It could also just be that this round of new batches is a bit different due to distribution or supply issues and will go back to what it was.

Anything after August 2022 will smell different than the original formula. It’s JUST as strong, same notes, same longevity, same sillage. Not generic to me at all!! Then again most people reviewing this are women who wear nothing but fragrances “marketed” for women.

On release date and today’s first formulation, it’s a masterpiece. I’m one of those guys where some female frags smell natural and pleasant with my skin chemistry. This isn’t too girly, and becomes more unisex after the top notes fade. On me it’s a beast. Try mixing it with Versace Man Eai Fraiche.

I bought a travel size from Sephora in 2020, went back in the store and paid for a full size bottle. It’s one of my favorite summer scents next to Man Eai Fraiche and Dylan Blue both pour homme and pour femme.

Tammie 124

This is a bit controversial. I tried this fragrance in the winter and absolutely hated it I thought it smelt like air freshener and was really sharp. Then after it had sat for about 6 months I tried it again in the heat in the summer and it was completely different. It is still woody and definitely pretty masculine I agree but the dry down is subtle and actually a good scent to wear in a European air conditioning free office with only fans to keep cool! It's inoffensive as long as you just use a little bit as a light mist to keep you fresh and clean smelling. I would have made the bottle forest green though.

Sammbac

Tested in store. Very poor longevity. Citrusy cologne type that is pleasant enough but something in the drydown catches in my nose and throat when I take a deep sniff, a bit like fenugreek? It really spoils the scent but on longevity alone I would not purchase.

Sheherazad

Opening is a deliciously juicy blast of fruity floral on a woodsy base. Sweet, citrusy, aquatic, fresh. Each note is luscious & clearly detectable. However, dry down squeezes out any juice, turning dry & completely masculine. All notes still nicely present but totally masculine, becoming even more so throughout evolution. It's only "Pour Femme" for the opening minutes. If you're hoping for a femme frag, go with Dylan Purple or Blue.

Sherlock Ness Monster

I love this one. A little fruity, a little woody, light and summery. I am reaching for it a lot lately. It reminds me a little bit of Versense with it's light, bubbly, woody freshness . . . but it's not as peppery and lime citrusy as Versense is on my skin, so I think that both have a place in my collection. It's also a little sweeter than Versense is on me. I need to replace my Versense as I finished up my bottle recently, so both of these can be in rotation for me this summer.

Lotte_Liese

This fragrance was a real let down- I fell in love with the opening- fresh citrus, a tad aquatic, woody without being masculine, a bit sweet and floral... But as I let it dry down, it became more unisex, still potent, but less appealing to me.

ambervxyjul

I really enjoy this especially in the spring/summertime. It has an aquatic freshness that I adore. I find this scent hard to be offensive to people. It’s blended right and has all the elements of fruit, freshness, light florals and a slight woody base. This scent is uplifting.

Upward_Falling

Not what I expected.

I feel like the bottle doesn't represent the liquid on this one at all. Very masculine and woody. I knew it would be going in, but... oy... not this much. The opening is odd, the initial blast always makes me make a sour face. It's straight up lemon cleaner on raw wood. Thankfully it quickly settles down and blends itself into a more citrusy aquatic scent but beware - the woody notes stay strong throughout the life of the wear and lean very cedar. For me, it's just too much. I feel like I'm strolling down the isles at Home Depot. Kind of Tim the Tool Man Taylor's wife vibes and I need to be in the mood for that. Once it's been on skin for a few hours it begins to turn a bit soapy and it's better, but still not a love for me.

**UPDATE**
Third time wearing this scent and I'm having a totally different experience! Same warm weather, same work environment so I'm not sure what has changed? Perhaps I just needed to clear out the atomizer tube from the perfume that had been sitting in there? This time around I'm getting the prettiest guava, orange and freesia combo just nestled in a little cloud of musk and light woods. At times it's quite aquatic as well. I'm actually really enjoying my own sillage as I'm running around the office. Safe to say, I've gone from owning just a travel spray to a full 3.4oz bottle. I stand corrected, Dylan Turquoise is a charming spring/summer scent! I recommend trying it more than once if you're on the fence or not a fan at first sniff. I'm glad I did or I would have missed out on a really nice designer option.

bffeash_13

Blind buy gone wrong, proceed with caution....

I bought this and Dylan Purple the same time, however I already loved DP bc i had a sample. I swore i would have loved this one like how i love Dylan Purple and Dylan Blue, but alas! Out off all the Dylan's i hated this one!

It's shocking to me bc i love fresh, citrus, aquatic scents (like Light Blue, Acqua di Gioia) and this seemed to fit that profile; however it just smelled so unusually woody and manly! I even asked a man if this smells masculine and he agreed. This is supposed to be a feminine fragrance but it seems to be a unisex, dare i say male, on the fragrance richter scale! Not worth the hype. Will be giving it away.

If you like smelling like a man, knock yourself out. If you like feminine scents like me and prefer to smell that way at all times, steer clear of this Dylan and get Blue or Purple instead.

Countrygurl

Not worth the hype. I had really high hopes for this based on notes. So glad I only bought mini..
Citrusy. I get no guava at all. I get a little tea note. But the dry down on me is awful. I thought it was patchouli, but I'm not sure. Really smells like stale cigarettes on me.
I will revisit from time to time to see if that changes. Very masculine on me. Not in a good way. ( I love ck one, clean, and acqua gio)
Please sample before buying. Not a safe blind buy..

Dragonweengs

Masculine smelling, like a cologne but my husband won’t wear it. So it’s like a sweet cologne, & I have to wear it w/ a body mist. Definitely unisex but I don’t like it too much on its own, even in a hot climate. It’s different enough for a fresh fragrance but I’d stick with Light Blue and add my fruity mist in that case.

jessica_chinos

This smells like detergent on me. It tickles my nose in a bad way and triggers my gag reflex. On my skin smells nothing like the blotter, my skin turns it into detergent, quite unpleasant. I blind bought a 50 ml bottle and I'm selling it. It happens the same thing with Dylan Blue: white soap.
Thankfully, these two don't last, so I don't have to suffer for long...

WhiteFlowerPrincess

This just smells like super citrusy, fruity and aquatic bodywash for men to my nose. There is nothing remotely feminine or pretty about it. It's fairly strong too and I can smell the lemon, mandarin, guava and a hint of that freesia note. All notes that I hate, especially freesia... I can't pick up on any of the other notes in this (I really wish that I could smell the jasmine in this, but it's choked out by everything else. There really is no restraint in this perfume.) and this perfume smells incredibly cheap, mass market and like something that you could buy at a Chemist Warehouse here in Australia.

Thankfully it only lasts 5 hours on my skin, since this gave me a bit of a migraine and it made me sneeze a lot. It projects a fair bit though and is quite cheap in price, like the smell.

It smells like Versace Eros Pour Femme, (another perfume I don't like at all) except worse... I don't recommend this perfume to anyone. 2/10 for me unfortunately.

marivigalisanao

This is perfect for a tropical country like the Philippines, what with the scorging heat we all have to out up with.

_Aerides

This is the shiii As soon as you spray you are blasted with citrus and a tropical guava note, there is also a sugary 🍬 sweetness to this perfume that reminds me of the sugary note in Moschino I Love Love. The citrus stays around for 2-3 hrs, then it becomes a woody musky watery guava fruit; very clean girl aesthetic 🧼🪵 Has a shampooy-soapy vibe to me like Dylan Blue (pour femme) but is not powdery or talc-y is very refreshing, sugary and modern. There is a sharpness to this that I've found in most Versaces but I like it tbh since it doesn't reach "sterile" levels but still makes this feel "cool" but fruity; honestly it reminds me of a syrupy fizzy drink.

Try on your skin!!! On my skin it's way better; turns muskier and the musk feels wet and watery, cologne-y but still with a girly vibe. On me it lasts a good 6-7 hrs depending how much I apply and projects decently, something unexpected from a freshie this fresh. I'd classify as Unisex with a girly edge, just what I like 😎

mjmxo

One of my favorite purchases this past year! super juicy citrus on first impression & then the dry down almost has a potting soil smell (and I mean that in the BEST way possible) sooo earthy & almost petrichor

aweso10

i got a sample of this and i wasn't overwhelmed, wasn't underwhelmed- just whelmed. heavyyyy citrus with a touch *just a touch* of cedar-y woods and a nice dose of aquatic notes (which i'm surprised aren't listed). the pink pepper adds a nice spiciness, but other than that, this frag is nothing special. still annoyed that designer perfume houses feel the need to gender everything so heavily because something like this could be super nice with gender neutral advertisement!

KSierra87

I made the mistake of blind buying this at the maxx based on the positive reviews. It’s not what I expected. It’s screechy, all I smell are the masculine notes like musky, woodsy, and it dries down to an old lady floral smell. Maybe it just doesn’t go with my body chemistry. I definitely won’t be adding this to my collection.

Ruby Galore

People say it doesn't remind them of other perfumes because it smells like agave fruit. Fresh but mild, fruity but not sweet, musky, elegant, and great longevity.

ayshee_x

It’s described as a citrusy woody floral and that’s exactly what it is.
If you like citrus heavy perfumes, this is for you. You’re instantly hit with citrus in the opening.
Reminiscent of D&G light blue but I actually prefer this. Perfect for the summer.
Note: it does smell a bit like a cleaning product.

Flexwithviv

Soon after drying, it remains as a scent something fresh and quite simple, the smell does not suit the price point I find it cheap smelling tbh, the initial spritz is screechy and settles to floral. Pleasant but not for me, does not tell us anything new.

It has a moderate sillage.

It does seems fresh and sharp with initial spray but drys down. I just can’t justify the price point for this fragrance. I am sure one could find something very similar for waaaay cheaper.

Honestly, I did not feel anything special on it so I won't include it in my collection. I wish the originality of the juice would have matched that of the bottle.

Smell 3.5/10
Duration 5/10
Sillage 4/10
Quality/price 3/10
Versatility 2/10
Packaging 8/10
Would I buy again? I did not buy it it was a tester, and NO won’t buy.

Controlledbyscent31

I'm surprised no other reviews have said this but this reminds me alot of gris dior on the mid too dry down just not powdery I can't unsmell that comparison now. As I'm not such a great fan of that particular dior scent I don't like this one either. Can imagine it being used on a hot hunid day to feel clean and fresh if you like this scent but I prefer my summer scents coconut sunscreen vibes.

Mjchaelj

Very pleasant citrusy woody scent for the warmer weather. It does remind me of MFK Aqua Celestia, but for half the price. I’m more into gourmands but this is really nice!

7.5/10

Peaches&Cream

Fresh, clean and citrusy scent. I had a hard time wearing it, it would give me headaches and the strong lemony citrus note did not meet my expectations at all. I let it sit for 2 years & decided to wear this again…I can say that I like this perfume, it wears well on me and it isn’t as strong or headache inducing anymore.

HazzofSteel

I was hoping for for more of a fruity scent. On me, it smells generic and nothing too special. The pink pepper takes away any of the sweetness on my skin. Still very fresh though. Just more fresh pepper than fresh fruit with my skin chemistry. The bottle is gorgeous though.

irlfireprincess

Light, inoffensive, fruity, floral, “perfume-y” scent. I can’t really distinguish any specific notes, it just smells like a random, generic fruity and floral mishmash. Forgettable. Lasted about 3 hours on me with intimate projection. Not worth a buy to me, but not bad by any stretch. I'm disappointed in this one mostly because I love guava notes but I can't smell it in this, at least not in a way that is distinct from the generic fruity floral mishmash.

Gummybear002

Everyone who dislikes this is probably not like other girls and can't tell quality. This is pretty and feminine citrus and suitable for women who want to smell like women not likee Gen z unisex tomboys . Pretty even in spring and lasts ok for citrus. What do you expect? It isn patchouli woods and it isn't going to be a longtime scent for the entire day look at the notes you people wow

autumnblue914

Juicy lemon. I'm sometimes afraid of citruses in a fragrance because they can smell like dish detergent to me sometimes, glad to say that this one doesn't. It just smells like a very nice juicy lemon, sadly doesn't last though.

But even after the lemon is gone the fragrance still smells fresh and slightly watery. The jasmine makes it a bit creamy. Fresh and clean fragrance, refreshing in the hot summer. But as usual with fresh and clean perfumes - it doesn't last.

I do smell a slight "Cedevita Lemon" vibe once the initial splash of lemon is gone. If you don't know what that is it's a powder you dilute in water to make it into a drink. They do put vitamins in it, but it's still very sugary. Regardless, main point being - the remnants of the leftover lemon scent smell just like the Lemon Cedevita powder, just way less strong.

It's an overall pleasant scent but the performance is disappointing. I would rather look at other fresh and clean perfumes and compare them to see if they last longer than this, from value for money perspective.

AnniRaissa

On my skin it reminds me a bit of Emporio Armani White For Her.

XOXO_marcel

Very pretty, girly fragrance. I feel like it has more in common with Bright Crystal and Yellow Diamond than it does with the other Dylans.
Personally, I prefer Dylan Blue and Dylan Purple, but I think this would make a great gift for someone who likes casual & youthful scents.

MuchoMuchoAmour

Rarely do a get a sample with a Sephora order & actually enjoy it enough to spring for a larger size. I was already looking for a Summer fragrance--even though it is Spring, Summer weather is already happening where I live. I love the fresh citrus and it dries down to a sexy musk, and I appreciate the longevity and silage in such a fragrance. I normally shy from fragrances that are fresh/citrusy. I can see it being one of those "I don't love it on myself, but love it on others" type of scent. I don't think it leans masculine, but I think it can certainly be worn by everyone and anyone.

Dungey

To me this smells kind of like the dry down of creeds aventus for her.

antoniov

Not quite what I had in mind. Very bretzels and no duration.

WoodsyLove

This one was a huge surprise and a pleasant one. Sillage and longevity are insane for EDT. It remained on my skin even after a shower and on my clothes as of today counts 2+ days. This one is a beautiful clean, fresh, flowery, woodsy scent, the guava is prominent but really well balanced by the woodsy notes, the citrusy beginning plays gently with the freesia and jasmine… this one is a fairytale and a playful one as well. Another pleasant surprise is that it didn’t turn to white flowery mush on my skin as it usually happens. I tried it in winter and to be honest I think it’s good in cold weather, but I really cannot wait to check it out in spring. I just ordered a fb.

edit: My fb didn’t perform like the one in the store I tried, left it to macerate and it’s the same.

Cherry Bloom

Lovely, uplifting, refresing, classy citrusy woody with a light flowery bed fragrance. If i like it so much in winter, i can't wait to see how much i will love it in summer.

Rafrosa

As a man, this is one of the sexiest summer scents to smell on a woman. The light and inviting citrus will pull you in but the fruity sweetness from the guava note makes this scent magic. Despite poor performance, I would highly recommend adding this to your summer collection...

katie02kat

I am totally in love with this perfume. It has already taken its place in my favorite perfumes.Citrus and floral notes are very beautifully combined🌸 it's feminine and beautiful. When it dries, it's even nicer and nicer on the skin and I get so many compliments🌸🧡

karencherries

Smells like Light Blue with pink pepper added to it. I'm not a fan of Light Blue, so I like this one better. It's nothing special but it is a nice spring time scent.

Soledad89

Not too excited about this one although I get how it's appealing to others. I smell something green, even mossy. It reminds me of fragrances such as Cool Water for Women and Mediterranean by E Arden, the usual aquatics or scents that I least enjoy. On the plus side, this scent is best worn during the warm months.

raerrr

For me, the pink pepper and cassis ruin this fragrance. I was expecting a bright and sweet summer juice of citrus and white florals. The pink pepper and cassis makes this heavy and almost antique smelling. Not a fan.

nanaa_from_ghana

I’m really not understanding the bad reviews for this one and it’s comparisons to a cheap male perfume.

Dylan Turquoise is a fruity-woody fragrance that’s heavy on the citrus and guava and has a touch of florals to add balance. It’s very sexy, fresh, and feminine (to me at least) but I could totally see a man pulling this off due to the heavy woodiness. I think it’s a luxurious summer freshie for a hot woman who’s turning heads as she makes her way around the city. For an EDT, it has impressive sillage and longevity.

I casually wore this home last summer and my mom complimented me as soon as I stepped into the kitchen. I come from a very traditional Ghanaian family, who is always cooking up a mess of food, and even through all the fish and spice smells coming out the kitchen, this perfume was able to cut through that and put a smile on my mom’s face. I ended up buying her a bottle for her birthday last year because she loved it that much.

As I say with every fragrance, sample before buying a full bottle. This one has some depth and complexity to it and don’t let the bad reviews scare you off. I promise you, it’s a very nice and likable scent.

Dark_Venus

A bit on the fence with this one. This to me seems like it wants to be Light Blue by D&G but didn't quite get there. It doesn't smell terrible but it's not remarkable to me. I think for me it's leaning on being too clean and somewhat cheap smelling, not as fruity as it says. I'm a lover of aromatic fragrances but even though this one has aromatic notes, it's not aromatic enough for me. I saw a lot of hype with this one but I'm not understanding why. Well everyone's noses are different so there's that. I bought a mini (0.17oz) and will use it until it's gone but wont re-purchase.

etherester

sooo manly tbh…I thought it was intended to be a men’s fragrance. I didn’t even know what to think when I smelled this, I can’t even describe but it just smells really boring and shallow and alcoholic. Then again whenever I see something “reminds” people of coco mademoiselle, I know it’s about to be a hard pass. Maybe some of you folks feel the same.

MichelleOd

Smells like a cheap men's cologne
Definitely not a safe blind buy

beta-ionone

Opens with a really nice citrus that doesn't sting or smell screechy but may still be too citrusy like a floor cleaner. There's also an aquatic note of some kind so it smells like a floor cleaner used near a pool on its stone or concrete floors.
Still not a bad scent but I'm telling you, Dylan Blue is better 😜

Edit: I feel like I may have been harsh on this one. It's a really nice relaxing citrus scent that isn't too sharp and it smells like a citrus rind, or a fancier Sprite soda, or a lemon dish soap so it would be perfect for summers when you want to smell clean. I could be confusing an aquatic note for a green note but it's very watery like a juicy plant stem. A good scent to have alongside Dylan Blue when you get tired of rose scents you can switch it up with this citrus scent.

The drydown reminds me of Bright Crystal but a bit more sweet and citrusy. If you're like me and dislike screechy or super sour citrus perfumes for women, try making an exception for this one. Be sure to wear it for a while instead of using it on a test strip. There are other reviews saying it smells like men's cologne-- I think it smells unisex.

SarabeineHoney

God I love this perfume. Wow. The lemon and guava are such a great combo. If you like bright crystal and light blue then you need this one. You will love it. I didn’t want to buy light blue and this one and im glad I got this one instead. It reminds me of light blue but with a sweetness and a stronger lasting power and sillage. Love the frosted blue glass bottle. Delightful for welcoming a new spring.

peachygal

This one is heavy on the lemon but also has a lot of sweetness to it. One of the nicest citrus scents I’ve ever tried. I think I can smell a lot of guava and turns out im a guava fan then! A really great pick for warm weather.

It’s a fresh citrus but not ozonic or aquatic at all.

I still think Dylan blue is the nicest of the Dylan’s but this would be my second pick although they are totally different.

JuanitaChristensen

This is a beautiful oriental scent, really great for summer wear. I really like the middle notes, the guava lends itself rather beautifully in this perfume. There's so much going on for this perfume!

Lemon, guava with florals and then wood.. absolutely fresh!

crimsonandclover

Sexy and fresh. It's that cool and effortless girl

Pixied0ll

This was my first fresh and “clean” smelling perfume I bought. I still really like it. It’s such a good balance between being citrus and woody without smelling like a cleaning product or too masculine. I would consider this unisex but a little on the feminine side.

FRAGLORD3000

Ralph grew up! Or Acqua di Giao and Under the Lemon Tree had a child they raised in the tropics! I love this, Donatella has me in a chokehold currently as i sprayed Dylan Blue looking for a freshy, loved it and forgot. Then mistook this for blue and sprayed it on me and was shook like what is this slightly lemon cleaner vibe, what have I done in this here Ulta. Then i went grocery shopping forgot about it and driving home caught the most delightful whiff and was like surely this cannot be Dylan Turq? But it was and I soon became smitten as its the perfect extreme lemon aquatic which in theory would be blue and yellow which would make TURQUOISE and it smells exactly like Turquoise. I will say Turquatic also smells turquoise but a deeper bluer version. I have not had the great fortune of a sniff of Aquawoman which surely is Queen of the category. But smell wise its a banger with lemon, guava, and wood is what I get and in that order I really like it I wore it to the beach and felt like an Italian princess. Very unisex very coolwater. Its great, bottle is stunning as usual with Versace frags, Donatella's pumping out the aquatic hits rn and Im here for it! For my taste i live for a gourmand and a sweet scent for many years but recently I want a refreshing spritz as the market is swamped with gourmands and i'm finally getting sick of them and I loved when i sniffed Acqua di Giao and Ocean but i want more tropical fruit the melon/apple aqua and the peach aqua a little played and a little too northern beach for the deep trop vibe that sets me in a fresh frag frenzy in the first place!

and PS about aquatic frags with fruit pairings: It's ridiculous tbh can we please lower the latitude peach is not beach. Same with apple. I love both but those are more lake/lagoon vibes. (Dylan Blue is for the lake house, Dylan Turq for the yacht) Coconut guava passion fruit is beach please serve up those fruits in yalls aquatic releases thanks in advance- my wallet.

ladybugprincess

Very clean and fresh. Quite strong and caused a headache. Packaging is cute.

katherinelancasterga

Gorgeous citrusy floral scent. Immediately smells bright, crisp, and clean with a bit of tropical.

chlorodream

Beautiful, über realistic lemon peel, with clean woods and a hint of freesia. The shame is that it only lasts barely an hour on me. Layered with Molecule 04 though, this is absolutely gorgeous.

sabs1205

I wish this was a perfume! Although it’s toilette, it still lasts me longer than a lot of perfumes I’ve had, in the past.

Rich, crisp, and sexy.

Pez_Enelrio

Such a great fragrance! fresh and crispy, musky and slightly exotic. With a great intensity and lasting power for the type of smell it is.

LilyWhite14

Someone else said that this is what they wanted Light Blue to be and I couldn’t agree more. Speaking of LB, I thought this would be similar, but the guava note really sets it apart for me. It’s in the same family, but this has so much more depth, it’s also less musky and more “sparkling.” It’s still a citrusy aquatic scent, but I like that they added some sweetness to it. The lasting power is mediocre, but I expect that for the composition. I still get hints of it after about 6 hours, but not much longer. The sillage however, is better than expected. My stepmom was standing across my kitchen island from me and complimented it. This really blossoms in the heat, but it could definitely be worn any time, in any situation. I can’t see anyone getting offended by this, yet it’s unique enough to stand out.

Klg2018

I bought this on a whim off of a suggestion from a coworker and man am I glad that I did! Normally I only lean towards gourmand fragrances but this is an exception. This one took me by surprise. It is an absolutely beautiful fragrance on my skin. On my skin this turns into a sweet, fresh, girly fragrance that I LOVE. I have also gotten several compliments on this one, which is always a plus. 10/10 recommend.

KrisGreen

This is a gay man following up on this. I was a fan of both Dylan Blues, Pour homme and pour femme. So I gave this a blind buy. I stand by what I said before, it’s a great scent. It’s not feminine like some of my other fragrances.

Like I said, if Versace Man Eau Fraiche had an EDP, this would be it just not as strong as a typical EDP. This stuff really does last on your clothes and skin hours later! I remember when Man Eau Fraiche would fill up a room that my husband had to leave, it doesn’t anymore. Dylan Turquoise might be the right replacement.

Chevalier-du-Balibari

It’s reminiscent of bubble blower to me. My associations are Floridian divorcée. Wealthy, kaftan wearing, tan. A guest bathroom abundant with soaps. Turquoise jewelry, beaded curtains, daytime tv as white noise. The aquarium in a nail salon, one with a rainbow array of colored stones. This is a mall makeup counter scent, shiny smooth tiled floors and shiny shopgirl smiles and bright lights flooding glass counters. Square tip nails with gradient sunsets and palmtrees. Boat owners, pier walks. Tarot readings. Wearing jewelry at the pool. Comfort, in a sense. New money. SUMMER only, wear it on a coastal vacation to Nice or something, with a deep tan and beaming white veneers. Im growing increasingly fond.

emilycmitchem

This fragrance is beautiful. It’s what I wanted Light Blue to be. Zesty, fresh, fruity, sensual. I truly believe you can wear this all year long, but it shines in warm weather. I don’t find Turquoise similar to Blue at all.
Highly recommend.

chicagogirl

I was pleasantly surprised when I smelled this. I expected a boring shampoo-shower fresh type of scent, maybe a Light Blue wannabe. But this scent is actually really sophisticated. The pink pepper combined with citrus totally gives it a Chanel Chance (original) vibe. It's more like original Chance than Chance Eau Fraiche but leans towards that as well. It's a really nice scent. Not gourmand, not warm but also not floral. It's in its own category of beautiful oriental clean scent with hints of citrus. It's perfect for Summer, but to me it's a little too fresh for winter. Smelling it right now on a like 20 degree day, it's making me feel even colder lol.

MacScouser

This is my girlfriend's signature scent. I love it

Thenieceay

Smells fresh and clean.

AshBud

Versace has done it again. Dylan Turquoise is a fresh citrus aquatic, but not sharp at all. The guava definitely comes out on top, making it so creamy and just a hint of tropical sweetness. This one is a definite add to my collection and I cannot wait to wear it this summer.
I also sampled Dolce Light Blue on one arm and Dylan on the other. While both are very similar, Dylan's complexity stands out and projects very well.

angelite

not a huge fan of this one. the bottle's presentation is beautiful, however i do not like the way it smells on me. very strong citrus notes present, but its not very pleasant. its a bit too sour and needs more balance. bought a full size bottle on ebay which i'm regretting now. wishing i could've purchased dylan blue instead. :,(

tilapia_johnson

Despite having the prettiest bottle of all the Versace fragrances, the name/composition of this fragrance is disappointing. There is a lemony opening that fairly-quickly shows off its guava note for too-short a time, with some innocuous florals (jasmine, cassis) and light wood and musk. It's comparison to a cleaning product is apt, though in truth some cleaning products smell quite refreshing! This is void of sexuality, but could be worth it for its appearance on a mirrored tray depending on the buyer. I think all the Pour Femme perfumes are somewhat lacking, but the others at least have some character, Hailey Bieber is the perfect face for the Turquoise campaign, because she is gorgeous, and that's about it.

typeonegative333

This...smells like window cleaner. I don't care for it, not a pleasant experience. Lemon and Windex, that's what you're getting. Thankfully, it doesn't last.

spritzspritz

Sweet pretty floral. I get the jasmine and freesia right away. It reminds me of wearing a fresh and fragrant jasmine lei on Oahu. Longevity is super inconsistent on me, sometimes within an hour I can only detect it by pressing my face into my arm, other times I can still catch whiffs of the gorgeous almost gourmand dry down after a few hours... idk what's going on with it, but it's too finicky for regular wear.

YLC629

This is really sharp and unpleasant on me. Not a fan

Lydiaclareee

This is the perfect summer scent. It has fresh, citrus notes as well as delicate florals. Almost smells like a yummy cocktail on holiday. Lasts relitevly well for an edt too.

Stimul

Starts very sharp. Somehow too alcoholic/synthetic badwise, cheap, somehow retro 90s badwise. Therefore I could not classify that as warm weather/summery scent. No way. To me it needs cooler conditions to survive the beginning. I do not notice the top row of listed ingredients. No citrus or not in the refreshing preferences. I go directly to the flowers. Cheap wonnaby princess night club floral scent. I am happy I only have a 5ml bottle which is very cute indeed.
Long lasting - full working day.
Decent syllage, at least armlength.

amg7613

A classy citrus drying down to a tropical, woodsy musk. I love the lift from the guava and pink pepper. I am also catching salty and aquatic notes that are not listed. It is an adult, mature perfume with the fruity touches that make it easier for younger people to wear.

amid

On my skin, this smells like a cheap dupe of coco mademoiselle. My son said it smells like shower gel. Meh.

likesleet

guava floral sweet but also musky & muted

corvidia

Relaxed, effortlessly complex classiness. Leather chairs in a mahogany office with an oceanfront view. Expensive feeling, timeless & business - but not all business (this executive has a potentially scandalous life after hours, but she'll never tell)...

yliu

Mmm what an expensive smelling freshie!!! Excellent <3

xabaras

On my skin Dylan Turquoise becomes a spicy, leathery monster. I was expecting the acquatic notes and the summery fruity notes, but all I get is couture dry leather typical of the common fragrances ladies used in the Seventies and the Eighties. I smell it and I imagine black leather gloves and boots. I have to say that Dylan Blue is a lot fresher on my skin, as I detect a very pleasant apple note when I put it on. A much heavier flanker. Disappointed. I wonder what the purple one will be like.

jesz

A pretty Salt and Citrus scent with an Aquatic touch. Very light, only a few hours longevity as a skin scent.
Chemistry dependant, it's probably safe to wear around a crowd.. BUT it becomes bitter on some skin and test paper cards. A bit bland, but not going to overpower a gentler personality type if they wear it.

Similar to Water Vibes by Victoria's Secret... which I like more because it's just a bit further on the Water side than Citrus. That's just my preference. If you lean more toward the Citrus, I suggest the Versace route.

Thalianna

I feel similar with this perfume as I do Dylan Blue, it's fine. I like Dylan Blue a little better. This is light and citrusy, I don't get a shampoo vibe like I do with Dylan Blue. It is refreshing on very hot days. It's a bit masculine for my personal taste.

auroramaria

One of my favourite Versace, can't wait to try the new Dylan Purple

SofieSecret

Smells like citrus and soap and that’s it. Smells like cheap perfume, I wouldn’t want anyone smelling that on me.

I put it on and told my mom to smell it. She made a disgusted face and told me she hated it lmao.

Lykopa

This is like if you mixed Citrine and Sunkissed Hibiscus from Nest. It’s bright aquatic citrus also reminds me of Acqua di Parma. This is a super fun, very fresh scent, with a nice cedar base and the tiniest splash of guava in there. I imagine this being worn with Lily Pulitzer.

venussansfurs

Beachy and unisex. Develops slowly - sillage is very light at first and the woodsy base notes are more prominent early on, with middle notes (mainly guava) coming to the forefront hours in. A good blend, and thankfully, the pepper is not overdone in it. Not bad but a bit too much on the masculine side for me until later in the dry down. Lasts quite a while on me.

Hyperscentsitive

I didn’t like this perfume by itself. I found it too much of a linear citrus. I found that adding another layer of jasmine turned it into an enjoyable scent. I add Indian Night Jasmine from TBS, to give it that extra jasmine depth.

kyradl

I am quite fussy when it comes to perfumes, however this one is absolutely gorgeous. It's fresh, citrus-y and it smells like a tropical beach holiday. It's one of the best summer scents I have ever smelt. It is also such good value for money, 100ml bottle costs about $160 (AUD) which is so affordable for a designer perfume of this quality. The bottle is creative, unique and even the tiny samples come in mini versions of the big bottle, and it's the little things that take it that step above. The jasmine isn't overpowering and it compliments the red pepper and orange so well. I want to eat this scent. It makes me want to book a ticket to a tropical island and bathe in this perfume forever. It is pretty long lasting too and leaves a subtle enticing trail behind. Radiant is the best word I can use to describe this. It doesn't make my hay-fever and allergies play up, it's perfect. I personally think it's a pretty safe blind buy, being a fresh citrus. It's a classic scent despite never smelling something that recreates the air of this one quite so well. 12/10, the perfect daytime tropical summer scent.

Briannaw3794

I agree with many comments below—- smells sooooo good at first but once the top notes evaporate, it’s mediocre at best.

pierogiss

this is strong toilet freshener, it's awful :(

DiscoPolga

The opening is fantastic, very juicy and sweet and tropical. I wish the sweet lemon and guava stuck around. Instead, it quickly becomes very woody - I'm not a fan of synthetic woods, they usually manifest strong and sharp and Clearwood is no exception. After 30 minutes all I can smell is the woods.

lyra.meurer

There's the briefest flash of mandarin-citrus at the start, then it gives way to a sort of generic fruitiness that feels guava-ish. Within the hour the florals come forward. They're pretty but sort of indistinct, reads to me like a clean jasmine. I barely noticed anything about the base notes until the end, and then it was mostly just a flash of musk.

It's nice, I won't lie. I thought from the notes that the fragrance could lean towards juvenile (not a problem, of course), but it was a surprisingly classy-feeling take on a warm weather scent. The performance was awful on me though, quickly becoming a skin scent to the point my husband had to bury his nose in my skin to smell anything. Didn't last in any significant sense for more than three or four hours, though this last time I got a few whiffs of it of it when I woke up in the night.

LyubaG

This is so good long lasting great smell amazing fragrance ❤️

Nievesm

I bought this fragrance at Sephora today bc I really loved the opening. I’m going on a beach vacation in 2 weeks and I wanted something citrusy & fresh. I got the 1 oz bottle and I also got a travel spray to keep in my bag. When I got home I noticed the scent didn’t last on me (and I doused myself at the store!) so tomorrow I’m going to return the 1 oz and get me the Dolce Gabbana Italian love which is what I should’ve gotten in the first place. Oh and I forgot to mention when this dries down it leans more towards a masculine scent. Hope this helps.

beautifur

I'm sorry but this smells like dishwashing soap

MarmaladeSkies

Blind bought this perfume. At first spray it gives me shampoo vibes, the dry down is nice. It's pretty weak, not much sillage. I like the fragrance I just think there are better perfumes on the market. It's a forgettable scent.

Mariyamokshina

Soapy Citrus Pinesol

SailorV

I first tried this from a peel-off card out of a magazine and liked it quite a lot, but when I sprayed the testers in different stores, the magic never happened again. Rubbed from the peel-off I found it very fruity, refreshing, almost drinkable, but sprayed, I get much more of the patchouli-esque clearwood note that cuts through the juiciness.
The guava note is definitely recognizable. In my opinion guava has a certain special warmth to it that feels almost a little spicy and makes it stand out from other tropical fruits, which I love.

But just when I get used to the guava, the intense patchouli-citrus combo takes the center stage. It's clean, sparkly and also a little sharp. I definitely understand the comparisons to Coco Mademoiselle. This basically smells like Versace attempted to create the tropical poolside summer flanker of CCM that Chanel would never produce. Unfortunately I always find this citrus/patch accord a little too harsh and scratchy, so this isn't for me after all.
I still like it a tiny bit better than Dylan Blue, and I think it fits right in with the current Versace lineup of sporty, clean freshies, so if you're a fan of their fragrances, you might love it. But I prefer good old Britney Spears Believe for my patchouli-guava fix.

Maenad1

Does anyone else think the drydown of Dylan Turquoise smells just like Coco Mademoiselle? It starts with some citrusy-floral notes but they dissipate quickly, and then it's all Coco Mlle.

islaforresterx

Verrrrrry Citrusy. Nice for summer, however as a gourmand lover it’s not for me - I don’t get the juicy fruit smell that people have described more than just straight up citrus. Would possibly layer nicer with a vanilla.

Skinscents4Fusspots

This is a summery, juicy fruity perfume that REALLY smells like a perfume (if that makes sense?!). In the same way that a lot of Chanel perfumes have that traditional perfume vibe, Dylan Turquoise smells like an old school perfume on my skin. I get a bit of guava but it gets super sweet and syrupy, while also being very woody and vintage smelling. It almost feels like a watered down version of a much stronger perfume - like it’s light but when you get close to it it’s headache inducing.

I feel like the juice doesn’t match the bottle. However, I’ve yet to find a Versace perfume that I actually like so if you like the house then you might feel very differently about this one!

Honestly….. this reminds me so much of Vera Wang Glam Princess. Another perfume I tried for the guava note and found super vintage smelling. Very perfumy. It could be a good budget alternative, same vibe, same guava with other fruits and some flowers and cedar wood!

aqua76239

Generally, when it comes to Versace scents I like the bottle far more than actual perfume and this one is no different. Its clean, almost soapy scent with bare hints of citrus. I find it more citrus than floral and not very fruity despite guave note and the like. Its nice if you like clean out of the shower scent, not normally something I would get. Bottle is gorgeous as always with Versace items. I can't help but feel like their earlier fragrances were much more unique and long lasting, like Red Jeans or Blonde or some of the others. Now its citrusy floral mediocrity with almost every scent

Melaniesherriff

This is beautiful sweet lemony fresh. I think its absolutely gorgeous. I have finished my mini and have every intention of buying a 100ml. It's got that shower fresh scent with sophistication. I was sight seeing walking around in mild warm weather and it had decent lasting power for an eau de toilette at around 3 hours I resprayed as it was quite faded even tho I could still smell it in my hair. It's not enormous sillage i would say arms length. It's a definite YES for me to add to my ever growing perfume collection

Badienne

This smells too strong. Reminds me of a man's cologne. I don't know how people mention how inoffensive this is... 🤔

Desteney

I got a clean fresh scent from this. It’s different from what I usually reach for but I don’t hate it. I don’t think I’ll buy a full bottle, I do have a travel size so I guess I’ll decided on that by the time it’s finished.

Search and Discover

I will pile on with the "expensive shampoo" descriptor. But ... it's very nice, calming, and fresh. Nothing unique or innovative, but certainly enjoyable. If I can find a discount bottle, I'll probably get it sometime.

The first spray is definitely screechy and synthetic, but thankfully (and surprisingly) it dries down to a lovely woody and fresh skin-scent with good longevity.

twiztidladii

How can a Citrus scent be so boring?! Well Versace somehow achieved that. Usually Citrus scents make me feel happy and energized. This one gave me almost no reaction. Just pure blah boredom.

elisstram

Lovely scent for my summer

auroramaria

I love this version of Dylan for women The opening is packed with sweet lemon and it"s a bit heady but the Dry down is gorgeous. It is mainly a Spring and Summer fragrance but I have worn it in cold temps and it is still wonderful. This is a typical Versace fragrance, very Italian never over the top, never too sweet, done just right, something to wear to smell classy and feminine effortlessy

Scooty77

This is what I call church perfume. It’s unoffending, pretty, and indistinct. just don’t overspray it, or it would be screechy. Seems like this would be good as a layer to something more complicated, or maybe with decent scented lotion.

Katelynl88

I really love this one , a lot more than the Dylan blue . That one smelled too mature for me . I do smell lemon quite a bit but it’s nice in this one . I have other citrus scents that I don’t enjoy . I never knew this was citrus until I saw the notes . I definitely don’t detect any wood scent , it’s floral, fresh , good day time summer perfume , maybe for running errands . Also kind smells like the mall . When you go into jcpenny and smell lots of perfumes at once . I really enjoy this personally, I would like a full size some time maybe

CJMWages

Perfect for warm to hot days. Fresh, clean with some depth as the day continues.

yeesa_

very clean and crisp for summer. however its slightly too masculine smelling for me

liebecherie

Citrusy, woody, and fresh. An easy reach for everyday this summer. Refreshing and not overpowering.

TabledThoughts

The scent of crisp clear air and fresh pure water.
I like it a lot and the bottle is beautiful.

LesGirls

It definitely smells blue to me, but in the way that Tide laundry detergent and Dawn dish soap smell blue. There's something at the heart of this scent that I do like: something powdery, maybe a wood scent. Unfortunately, I can't get past the feeling of having Tide pods stuffed up my nose.

Eridanshay1

I tested this in May in MT. The weather was mild-75 deg. 3 sprays (wrist, back of neck, blouse).
My mama & I thought the best word to describe this scent was "screechy". There is something so synthetic & loud about it (on my skin) that it literally was hurting my nose, head & soul. It’s all consuming & I felt like I was leaving a nuclear cloud of lemon peel wherever I went.
I've never had Versace waffles before, but I think I may have actually tasted this in my mouth at brunch.
All day long I felt like I needed to wear a "so sorry" sign as I felt I could offend noses all around me.
Do not blind buy. I picture a
fake (Dolce L. Blue-esque) commercial in my head & nostrils showing a couple frolicking in the waters of Spilia..him doing a swan like cliff dive toward a stunningly beautiful woman in a boat & her greeting him by spraying lemon juice up his nose. ;)
Story continued.
We stopped to visit my sister. I gave her a hug & she raved about how amazing I smelled & demanded to know what the beautiful scent was!
Huh? At that point it had settled down, but I still smelled lemon peels, dish soap & pepper.
It smelled fantastic to her & I can see how some would find this to be intoxicating. As w/most scents, they are subjective.
The smells in the world of what we appreciate make us all unique & I'll bet $ that this smells fantastic on YOU! 💌
Cheers!
P.S. The bottle is what made me purchase a sample. It is awesome!

eau de cocoa butter

I prefer the original. This flanker leaves a lot to be desired especially because the bottle is beautiful. I expected a lovely beachy or aquatic scent. This is not that. It’s just a basic citrus, I don’t detect any specific citrus fruit, just citrus. Also, I’d likely get more longevity from body spray. It’s a thumbs down for me.

fragrance_girl

I agree with what many reviewers have said already.
The scent is not unpleasant, but disappointing. Very generic (not in a good way), nothing original, it reminds me of a type of scent that I've smelled multiple times before. It doesn't invoke positive connotations. I'm curious what prompted a brand like Versace to release this fragrance. The bottle is probably the best part of this fragrance. I wish brands were more creative and innovative.

eva.daisy.88

The generic lemon scent in this smells almost like a dishwashing liquid to me.
On a dry down, it turns into musk and woody scent. But it doesn’t last long, the EDT is gone in an hour or so.

I just don’t’ think it’s a pretty scent for anyone below 50.

jeannebelmondo

+1 on this having a shampoo smell. I get car freshener lemon, a dewy tropical guava and a combination of orange and cedar that only be described as reminding me of furniture polish. As you get to the dry down it becomes more and more of the latter furniture polish feel.

That's not to say that this doesn't smell like something a person would wear, but rather that it smells like familiar products that don't have the same level of artfulness that a perfume usually would. It's fresh and easygoing but astoundingly uninspired and generic, and really not worth more than $10-15.

spraguelauren

Just sprayed this ~15 minutes ago so I'll update later once it dries down.

This opened with a bright, clean, fresh burst of lemon, mandarin, and guava for me. The madarin faded fast.

Five minutes later it's still lemony, and the rosy pink pepper and clearwood come through. I'm newer to identifying notes so i looked at fragrantica's description of current leave as "like cat piss" lmaooo. I do kind of get that, though...not in a gross way, just slight ammonia, like a cleaning product but a little earthier.

As it dries down more, the musk comes through and I get a hint of cedar. I used to spend my childhood summers swimming & fishing in a cedar water river, so when I see cedar as a note I get excited, but it doesn't come through as strong as I'd expect. Maybe later in the dry down!

Sits pretty close to the skin, I think. Hard to tell for sure because I'm alone in the house.

Overall, I really love this for summer and think I'll buy a bottle (I just have a sample vial). It's fruity but mature, fresh and "sparkling" which I love. Slightly floral (freesia I guess -- I'm not great at identifying specific flowers yet), but I don't smell any sweet/creamy jasmine. Smells like summer happy hour on the back deck of my house in the woods with my mom.

jrvvv

This, to me, is what a very posh 50+ woman would wear. It smells like expensive shampoo but is generic.

dearaari

Picked this up along with Dylan Blue to test. This was the one I immediately put back down. The opening was scratchy and reminiscent of nail polish remover. It goes for really cheap on some discount websites and I had consider blind buying previously but when I tested it, it was really hard to like albeit everyone saying it’s a generic likeable scent... also it doesn’t last half an hour. Wonder how much Mrs Bieber was paid to face this campaign... the scent is just unremarkable sadly..

leonaV

Extremely generic and lacks originality. I was quite curious about this one, because Ireally enjoy fresh and watery fragrances during summer. But this one? It is so cheap smelling and so ordinary. If only the lasting power was better, but it lasts max one hour on my skin! I would never purchase a full bottle of this.

Mirille

Ooof! This is terrible. I like all the notes individually, but this smells like cleaning day, and not in a good way. There is some mothball note in there. So all in all, it's like I've mopped the floor with citrus cleaner, and now I am going through my closets organizing musty sweaters that I have not worn in a while.

billy_krimber

generic

girldeadbug

Wonderful. Another nice addition from Versace. Like a more lemon-y and less floral version of Bright Crystal. I like the bottle more than the scent honestly, but it would be a nice dumb-reach for summer.

pearl421

You know how sometimes you hear a song and it reminds you of another song, therefore you start liking this new song? This is kind of like that. There is definitely a hint of Chanel Chance, maybe just the regular Chance or maybe a bit of the Eau Fraiche.... pink pepper is nice and reminds me of perfumes of my younger days. Def a bubbly, warm weather scent. I can picture this permeating through the heat and sweat. But also, at the same time, there is an undeniable aquatic quality even at the opening. Longevity is good... I could still smell it on my sweater days after wearing it. And at that point, a bit more of that soft, aquatic, almost "fresh laundry" kind of fresh lingering. It's honestly not bad!! Compared to Bright Crystal which is very very sweet and almost simplistic, this is far easier to wear and I'd say one of my more favored Versace mass market scents.

Dimanta

I can definitely smell citrus, mandarin and freesia.. but in a boring, not unique way. This perfume left me uninterested.

heatshimmr

Citrus, aquatic, subtle woods. It smells similar to any other citrus scent at first, but I like the tropical vibe and the accent of cassis that comes through in the middle.

LindaL100

this is 1 of my favourite perfumes ever, it's very fresh and fruity and strong and last quite long on my skin. I think this is a very versatile fragrance, even though the scent is more summery, but I think you can wear this all year round and you can wear it during the day or night, it really doesn't matter.

strawberrystar

This perfume is fresh and floral, but way too mature for my taste. Maybe I will revisit it one day.

Dorothy812

I like it a lot. It's a very fresh scent, not offensive at all, and the freesia mixes in with the citruses of the opening very well. It's got a bit of a Bvlgari DNA to it, and it's accompanied by a sweetness I enjoy. Not a signature, but something I could reach for on a sunny day out. Also, the 1 oz bottle is so pretty.

Asca Naca

It smells really "dusty" but in a good way. Looking over the notes, I can't tell what that smell could possibly be. It is inoffensive and would do well in warm weather. The citrus in the top smells really nice! I like it a lot better than Dylan Blue pour femme.

KrisGreen

From a male reviewer, This is basically the Pour Femme version of Versace Man Eai Fraiche. They are SO similar in nature. Both are lemon beach scents, both leaning unisex. If anything this is a bit stronger then Man Eai Fraiche. I sometimes joke with my friends and call it the new Versace Man Eai Fraiche EDP. If there was an EDP to that scent, this would be the closest thing.

As for the fragrance alone, I don’t understand the bad reviews. It’s not my favorite, but it’s a must have. I liked both the mens and womens version of Dylan blue which is why I gave this a shot. They have NOTHING in common, just the word Dylan and a similar shaped bottle to another scent like Crystal Noir and Bright Crystal.

I get a blast of the ocean filling my nostrils, and the way it comes out is so delicate but powerful. This is a VERY fun and playful scent. I’m a guy and I get many many compliments on this one, especially when layered with Versace Man Eai Fraiche. Those two must go hand in hand but this can still stand on its own.

It reminds me of my childhood for some reason like I’m being taken back in time somehow. Has a nostalgia feel. Is this a generic scent, yes but that isn’t necessarily a bad thing. It’s unique enough to be worthy of being in many collections. I find myself reaching for this quite often as the weather gets warmer. I can’t say if it’s better or worse then Dylan Blue because they smell nothing alike. It’s not a flanker.

If you blind buy this, you will eventually use it up even if it takes a long time. On my 8th bottle.

My first impression whn hubby brought it for me was: It smelled very grandpa like or my grandmom brothers type of scent. I hated it & was annoyed he brought me such insult 😠😤
So I waited a few days, bcuz on dat day in particular I was laying around all day n slept most of da day, so I waited a few days & tried it again.
My second impression of it was:
At first spray it smells manly/old man like 😖 then as it starts to set it's musky 😒 not to much like I like in musk scents, as it dries, it starts to smell kinda sweet, mixed with rubbing alcohol, but yet still sweet & musky.
I'd say it sit close to da skin, n it doesn't last long. I would need a repeat spray after about an hour. If U like scents like dis then it's for u lol. I don't hate it but I don't love it either, da 3.4 oz bottle I have I think will last a long time on my shelf. Not like any of my other perfumes dat I would have to buy repeatedly after a month or two.

Mijakojic

I was on the fence about this one but i blind bought anyways and it smells so fresh. It will be perfect for this warmer weather in georgia and even for my trip to Europe this summer. It leans more feminine to me. Layer this with jlo miami glow. I hated miami glo on its on but I dont know it just works for me together.

laukin911

Really loved this last summer...was doing bottle service at a pool and loved how fresh it was. For some reason I don't like the smell on my skin anymore! I'm more of a warm and spicy girl. Have a very gently used 1.6oz bottle of anyones interested.

ElleZ

Blind bought a mini just to try it.

First impression: if Cool Water and Goldea had a love child, this would be it.

Will update.

UPDATE: It’s taken me a while to get a grip of this, and I can’t say that I still have. However…

I don’t get any citrus, but that is common for me with scents that aren’t all about the citrus (like the Aqua Allegoria line by Guerlain or Joie de Vivre line by Atelier Cologne - in those I do get citrus).

What I do get here is guava and musk. Lots of musk. That’s it. Still, I find it to be very fresh, albeit linear and sort of boring. Not bad boring, but nice boring.

Oh, and I still stick by my initial analysis of this being the love child of Cool Water and Goldea.

MaximaBella

This is an odd one for me. When I first smelled the paper sampler I loved it! It smelled tropical to me. I tried it on at ulta- one little spray and I was doused in the stuff and really overwhelmed. It was almost too much. What I liked was that 6 hours later I could still smell it on myself! I purchased a sampler size to give it another try and I do like it, to me it almost smells like it could be worn by a man or a woman. It smells expensive and truly last all day.

diego.lesgart

I read here that fragance smells unisex, anyway, it is very easy to wear and cozy for summer for being VERSACE.
As Armani, Dior, Paco Rabanne, Fendi and Ralph Lauren... Versace in this millenium almost lose its A.D.N. for the fragances... All of them are worried about make flankers and complety forget the icons.

Cherry08

This is a funny one. To me it smells like a modern take on fresh citrus perfumes of the 90s, think cool water. It is however much nicer and well blended, it make me feel nostalgic to summer days of my childhood even though it’s new.... I get it, good job Versace 👍

albarine

saccitygrl01

Got a sample and immediately fell in love with this fragrance--FB worthy. Was really surprised by the number of negative reviews here.
Its a classy scent (smells like you have money) that is a joy from the opening through to the dry down. A beach scent the way La Source scented shampoo/handcreme from Crabtree and Evelyn is a beach scent.
Its warm, clean, fresh, slightly citrus with a slight pink pepper bite as a top note. I do not like freesia, typically avoid it at all costs, but in this fragrance it must be well blended so there is just an enjoyable sharp white floral note rather than a heady/headache inducing one.
It reminds me of a wealthy woman in a large hat and expensive sunglasses lounging along the azure coast of the Adriatic Sea with a warm breeze carrying the faint fragrance of flowers and citrus.
Definitely worth checking out when you are at the fragrance counter. Not recommended as a blind buy unless you adore non-coconut marine fragrances like I do. Obviously not a girly girl fragrance.

*loves_shoes*

Clean, citrus, a bit of woods, very unisex. Pleasant and refreshing, good for summer.

LanadelReyfan🌹

This one smells like Versace for hot summer- I mean Versense or Eros pour femme edp. The original was more sophisticated like a mossy lemon in Nomade Hermes. I compare them both on my wrists and I would only enjoy during hot weather. They give a clean, washed with luxurious soap body impresssion, a fresh floral feeling. They dissaper quite quickly but the bottles are collection worthy.

Fonna2

Initial blast is sharp. I actually smell pine, so I understand where that "cleaning supply" smell comes from. It mellows out after 3 minutes. The pine scent is gone, and what I smell is baby powder. That's about it.
It doesn't last, and completely disappears on the underside of my wrist, .....on the top, the baby powder scent is gone,
turning into an aquatic sweet scent (oh noes) with a mild pine/baby powder scent.

Now, I will say .. years ago, after spraying Yellow Diamond, the scent had completely disappeared, and then resurrected about two hours later. Idk if it's the heat from the body or some kind of magic sorcery. But I will give the benefit of the doubt that the same will happen here.
Not too exciting. Definitely office wear, casual wear, or a Summer after shower cooler. It's not romantic, absolutely no warmth, no amber, it's a cool scent for the Summer.....and maybe, since it has pine, a Winter surprise among the amber scents.

jayanna

qt & clean but lasting power isnt there 💔

maifleur

Based on the notes I was beyond excited to try this, but it turned into one of the greatest perfume letdowns of my life. It is so sharp, as in artificial, it hurt my nose and saddened my soul. I got no fruit notes, just alcohol and cleaning supplies. Second disappointment from Versace, the other being Bright Crystal.

AnitaHendricks

This perfume could work for men and women! The musk and lemon notes are the most dominant to my nose. There are also light floral notes. It's great during warm weather!

meganlamode

Dylan Turquoise is nice. It's very fruity and aquatic to me - definitely a Summer perfume. Even though it's pleasant, it's also generic, and my first thought was: "This is something my mom would wear." I asked my boyfriend what he thought and he said the same thing without prompting: "It smells like my mom." This isn't because it's a mature fragrance, it's because it smells so similar to other popular perfumes. I need something more unique than this.

vintagebombshell1214

i really wanted to like this perfume because of its citrusy/floral notes and the gorgeous bottle but this smells like crayons and sour milk to me and i cant get past it, it has an almost chemical smell and the sillage is almost suffocating. 2/10 for me cause this smells like compost but the bottle is beautiful.
