I got a 10 ml since I was curious about it, but can't say it's a surprising DNA.
It has a very juicy opening from the pomegranate and black currant.
The peony, jasmin and musk form a patchouli-like slight sharpness. You can hardly feel the vanilla, though.
I'm not sure I'd buy a full bottle if I had the chance, but the scent is not bad at all.
I believe it goes close to Lalique's Amethyst due to the strong berry juicy notes, but Amethyst proves better at performance and overall evolution, without any sharpness, albeit a bit less sweet than FB Midnight.
Bottom line conclusion: nice release, but a bit too expensive for what it is, there's nothing surprising, rather crowd pleasing with ok performance. Nobody's tragedy if this disappears.

Snicole82

Maybe it’s me, but I can’t smell this lol

dawnnyy

Very expensive egirl. Would be sexc for a date night.

nakota

It took me by surprise today, but on my skin the drydown of Flowerbomb Midnight is similar to what Burberry Goddess is all along. A bit darker, denser version of it but still remarkably close. I'm not sure if it's only my body chemistry, but potentially worth checking by everyone who is sad about discontinuation.

Shimmer412

A beautiful, sexy, deep, warm, sensual, seductive, dark fruity floral fragrance. Midnight still has the basic Flowerbomb dna, but it’s also beautifully different and unique. I think that Midnight is the sexiest of all of the Flowerbomb fragrances. The pomegranate and black currant add a dark and juicy sweetness, while the night blooming jasmine and peony add a seductive and romantic floral scent, and then the musk and vanilla add the perfect warm and sensual touch.

I get excellent performance with Flowerbomb Midnight. The longevity is fantastic, it lasts the entire day, and I can even smell it on me the next morning. The projection is great too, it radiates out a few feet from me.

For reference, here’s my basic thoughts on the different fragrances in the Flowerbomb line:
Flowerbomb - romantic, classic, & floral - spring
Ruby Orchid - sweet & sexy gourmand fruity floral - spring
Nectar - sweet, flirty, & happy candy like floral - anytime
Tiger Lily - bright, happy, & juicy tropical fruity floral - spring & summer
Midnight - seductive & sensual floral - spring, fall, & winter

I bought this yesterday without trying it out first. £29.95 at Savers. It unfortunately smells like Roman Night by Bvlgari which I had and never liked. A little Raspberry, a little dark sugar and musk but faint. I was hoping it would smell like the original Flowerbomb but no:( I’ll give it a 5 out of 10.

Update 12 March 2024: Love it. It doesn’t last but the first 20 minutes after you spray is a sniff of the most delicious sugared blackberry pickled in sweet dark red port wine. Yummy.

jadepo21

I agree with reviews that don’t love the opening of this. It’s a little acrid and sharp to the nose. But the dry down is nice and ends in a wearable, sweet, deep scent. It’s not as good as the original or as Ruby Orchid in my opinion, but it’s a decent flanker if nothing revolutionary.

alyssarware

I find the opening to this one kinda harsh, it smells more like licorice to me than any other Flowerbomb. The dry down is super nice though and I get a dark, pretty pomegranate
It doesn't last very long though

mermaidshimmer

I wore this today and enjoyed the Juicy Fruit Gum notes that continually wafted very noticeably in my space. This is very long lasting, soft, and milky, musky sweet. I am so glad I have my bottle of Flowerbomb Midnight. I put this on at 7:30am and 12 hours later, it smells just like I put it on. Wonderful!!!

Guiabananaa

Smells fruity and floral. Pomegranate is the first burst of smell then followed by black currant then the body is the jasmine ,i can smell the night jasmine coming through then the musk and peony starts to peek in the dry down. The vanilla didn't really shine its like just sprinkle in the background. Sillage is 5/10, longevity is 6 to 7hrs on clothes , 5 hours on skin. Love this overall.

BritneyPerfume4Eva

Mmmm.... I'm sooo happy! I just knew I'd love it, given those notes: vanilla, musk, blackcurrant... And an intriguingly-named nightblooming jasmine. However, after trying revolting Prada Candy with its seemingly perfect scent profile, I was worried it would be another dud :(

No! She's a beauty. My favourite flavour is blackcurrant. I had blackcurrant gummy worms for breakfast yesterday lol (shh!) It's a beautiful blend of blackcurrant jellybabies, a soft musk, sweet vanilla and green notes. Not sure what the 'green notes' are, it just smells fresh.

POV: you're eating a blackcurrant and vanilla pie while wearing your favourite musk perfume in a moonlit fur forest at midnight :)

danidgq

I have fallen in love with this beauty only to find out it’s discontinued?:(

Anyway. It’s a musky, fruity-floral fragrance. I think it’s a perfect signature scent. It’s appropriate for every day and every situation. The name and black bottle are misleading imo. It’s not sultry or anything like that. This is a pretty girl scent.

Downside is the longevity. I already have a dent in my big bottle because of how much I spray every time I use it 🫣 I’m considering buying a backup for this. I just love it.

Kizzyb93

My friend told me this was being discontinued not sure if it’s true or not, but for that reason I did buy a bottle of this the first time in 14years since I owned this before. I remembers feeling like an absolute princess when I wore this as a teenager. Hence the reason I bought one last bottle.
I did spray this on my wrist the other day and it lasted around three hours however from what I remember this one performs perfectly in the colder winter weathers
So I look forward to the colder weather is to come back

assoula17

The frutier, more fun sister. It starts with a delicious, jammy burst of black currant and pomegranate that slightly resembles Mon Paris, then it turns into a softer, muskier version of the OG flowerbomb and you start to see the faint family resemblance.
I love both the OG Flowerbomb & the OG Mon Paris, so I definitely love this as well. Although I have to admit if both sisters were involved in some kind of face-off battle, I think the OG would win.

harperpeshhe

Reminiscent of Mon Paris and La Vie Est Belle but much smoother and creamy like. No annoying patchouli here! Just an indulgent cloud of berries, vanilla and musk to enlighten your senses.

nbazza

THIS IS BEAUTIFUL! Is is discontinued? What a shame. It's my favourite out of all the flowerbombs. Although not the same, it reminds me of floral street vanilla orchid.

Jennaflareon

Very nice perfume. For me it's not a typical evening perfume, it works equally well during the day.

I think it smells better and mor unique than the original Flowerbomb. I think it smells a little grapefruit. A mell that I usually don't appreciate but in this composition it just feels fresh and exciting.

Morgan45

On me, this smells like a slightly more subdued version of La Vie est Belle. Go figure.

suzanne_ronald

BOLDLY SWEET Black Currant & WHIPPED Musk. Opens with a fruity burst of blackcurrant & sugar crystals with touches of pomegranate, that deepens into a velvety fluffy floral heart of night blooming jasmine & peony, all resting on a vanilla-white musk base that's so pillowy you could swear that it's whipped.. There is a pleasant 'armpit' note, as well as a slight 'perfume-y' quality that reads as chypre in the heart with reminders of Armani Si. Has a dressed up vibe. Well above average performance.

Contrast to Si Armani:
These are different, but this is the most similar to Flowerbomb Midnight V&R that I've smelt, specially the openings. FM dries down incorporating the Flowerbomb DNA, but with the fluffy whipped found in Si. FN is more white musk forward.

Contrast to Flowerbomb Viktor&Rolf:
These are different, but the longer they dry down, they become more similar with white musk. Flowerbomb leans closer to a white musk version of La Vie Est Belle, while Flowerbomb Midnight leans closer to a white musk version of Armani Si. Both have well above average performance.

Contrast to Dazzle Al Haramain:
These are different but have a similar vibe with a floral heart on a fluffy almost-chypre/chypre. FM is a little sharper in the top notes while the whipped quality is more forward in Dazzle Al Haramain. Both have above average performance.

Overall: powerhouse performance and a beautiful scent profile, this is the perfect scent to wear to feel dressed up. This may be my favourite of the range - it's a love for me. Enjoy!

hpeeters

One of my FAVS. Oneidawelty said it perfectly below! This is flowerbomb family vibes but in a more mature darker way. This is not cloying syrupy sweet like the OG or Nectar, it is more fruity & darkly delish! I love this blend of black currant, Jasmine & the musk. I Just want to dress up in dark colors and drink red wine @ a fancy establishment. 🖤♥️🖤♥️🖤
PS: I also highly suggest Ruby Orchid and Dew from this line!

fairycoffins

Upon first spray, I was overwhelmed with musk, but it quickly settled into the dark juicy fruits that attracted me to this. When the musk came back out to play, it was rounded off smoothly with the creamy, indulgent vanilla. This isn’t the most complex scent or anything, but it’s so comforting while simultaneously being sexy. I can’t justify the price tag though, it’s a like, not a love, so I don’t think I’ll be purchasing a full bottle of this.

klioux

That black currant pomegranate opening is moody, juicy, and mysterious in a way that fits the dark bottle quite well. The fruit juice drips away and leaves behind a sultry mix of rose and slightly indolic jasmine. Yes, rose! I don't know how it isn't listed, to my nose this is a mostly rose perfume. It dries down to mostly musk.

I can see what they were trying to do here, creating the sultry and seductive counterpart to flowerbomb og. However, it's unfortunately just not that interesting. This smells like a body spray you might find in a dark red or purple bottle from VS.

Dawnya7b

I hate the Og Flowerbomb and the nectar and the dew versions! This I love! I don’t get any of the FB dna thank goodness. This is so juicy and fruity and sexy, I’m obsessed!

stonestardust

I have a sample of this, and the opening is interesting but unfortunately it dries down very musky on me. Usually I LOVE musk, however this (on me) is overpowering.

Gigi7891

I don’t understand where the rose note is. I smell og FB dna, with rose, and added wood, maybe a dash of Chanel No 5 and a little fruity sugar candy

dancingdear

If you like Black Tulip but wish the notes were smoother this is for you.
I have trouble with the Flowerbomb line in general but this is really wonderful.
Sexy without being loud. Long lasting on skin. Works in any season. Not synthetic at all.
Definitely could be a signature scent.

OneidaWelty

This is one of my favorites!! <3 It's the older more mature sister of Flowerbomb for me. It's delicate but strong at the same time, ultimately sexy. It's definitely a scent for the night time!

brennal

Wow! Delicious black currant and pomegranate kick this off in a fantastic berry scent (not plasticky) that mellows to a gorgeous peony scent with jasmine. The drydown is more musky than vanilla to me, but I like it. This perfume fits me much better than flowerbomb did, and it has the same sillage and long lasting scent. Definitely a win for me!

RebeccaV

Spicy, fruity, pretty absolutely gorgeous scent. There’s really nothing like it. It’s unique even with its Flowerbomb dna.

Maia_Sultana

I see a lot of reviews talking about patchouli as a note, but it's not listed as a note. Instead what I smelled was a musk note that was constant but at the drydown it had concentrated into a b.o. type smell. I had to return.

natasha28

It smells very similar Mon Paris by YSL, it had the same strong rotting-sweet red berry smell, which I learned to appreciate. The patchouli is too present after an hour, which I really don't like. The silage is close to skin and I'm not sure if it will last long. It does not smell like a flanker of the original Flowerbomb, I love FB!The price is a bit high IMO, but Flowerbomb is wicked expensive. Mon Paris also cost a lot more, so Midnight might be worth buying as an alternative. I think it would be good for nighttime all year round.

raniabenouhaiba

On me this perfume smells exactly like La Nuit trésor.

mermaidshimmer

This smells like Juicy Fruit chewing gum and I love it! ❤️

Kaleigha

I have worn my little sample vial of this twice, and I am still no closer to knowing if I like it or not. I don't dislike it, but it just seemed like...nothing...on me. I sprayed a few shots, took a few sniffs, and it seemed like it was gone. I kept shoving my head down my shirt (classy, I know) trying to get a whiff, and more often than not I didn't. So I resprayed, and then poof! Gone again. Weirdest thing ever.

gpaisley

Flowerbomb Midnight is like a sexy sweet dark raspberry patchouli version of the original Flowerbomb. To my nose it smells almost identical to Victoria's Secret TEASE CANDY NOIR as well as MON PARIS, and MON PARIS INTENSEMENT. Other similar fragrances are Britney Spears Prerogative, Calvin Klein Deep Euphoria, Nest Black Tulip, Paco Rabanne Black XS. Of note, I do not think it smells like Narciso Rodriguez for her. Yes, they both have patchouli, but NR does not have the dark sweet candy raspberry note that Flowerbomb Midnight has.

Sillage and Projection are great - all you need are 2 or 3 spritzes and you are good to go. I think it would make a perfect date night perfume - sweet, dark, sophisticated, elegant, mischievous, mysterious, with just a hint of syrupy raspberry to add playfulness and make it not too serious.

waywardcalicocat

This is such a wonderful fall and winter fragrance, although I ended up wearing it year-round. It starts off sweet, like Flowerbomb and all its' flankers, but it ends up as a wonderful floral musky fragrance after a few hours. It is the night time, grown up sister to Flowerbomb and it's wonderful.

This, like all the Flowerbombs, lasts a very long time on my skin and has an enormous sillage.

kre8tivthinkr

I’m downgrading this one to a like. On me it starts very juicy with an herbal note that’s a bit scratchy. I think it’s how my nose is reading the peony on my skin. I know I’m not supposed to smell it until the heart. I’ve found that’s when a note doesn’t sit well with me I can usually detect it prominently at all levels. I like the peony in Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet but this one registers very dry. The herbal impression plus the heady sweetness is off putting to me, a tad stomach churning at times. Going to have to pass this one along.

fragrance_girl

I don't wear it at midnight, I rock it to work 😎 It gives me a nice power boost.

Initially, I thought it'd be a heavy night time fragrance (judging from the bottle), but it's not. I find it perfect for fall.

PlanetGrl

The name made this sound like it was going to be this seductive nighttime version of FB, but I found this utterly forgettable.

TaniaClamp

Flowerbomb Midnight is a bit misleading because of the packaging. Maybe you think it's thick and mysterious BUT no, no... that's not what's going on here. This one is sweet and powdery, just a very soft beautiful scent.

Such a gem 😍

It's soft and sits very close to the skin which is the best fragrance to wear to bed (in my opnion).... so cozy, soft-sexie and beautiful. WOW!!

likesleet

peppery floral. didnt get the vanilla. it was kind of unpleasant and overpowering

KaitM

I bought Flowerbomb Midnight when it was super marked down in the wintertime and back then, it gave me that unfortunate black currant “cat piss” smell. For reference, it was about 20°F outside with frequent snow at the time. BUT, I hung onto the bottle and tried it on again in summer, and now it really shines! The black currant and musk stand out here, it’s not super floral or sweet but instead a little tangy. I’ve been wearing it daily on all of my pulse points plus a spritz for my clothes and it is super light. I wish it was a bit stronger, if it was I would consider rebuying when I run out. It does smell like Mon Paris, but I can’t stand the noticeable ambroxan on myself so this is a better deal for me.

As others have said, this bears little resemblance to Flowerbomb original, which I am not a fan of.

Chinello23

First equal as best flanker alongside Flowerbomb Nectar. This one is so special! Doesn't smell like Flowerbomb at all. (Maybe that's why I like it, lol)

duaa abed

next on my buying list really good flanker the best in my opinion🥰

gurle94

I get a lychee note reminiscent of Delina from this. I enjoy it a lot but sadly my partner thinks it smells like old lady. I think I would consider it more of a daytime scent if it weren't for the marketing

maziarzl

Potential to be really beautiful but just not for me.

bananco

Gorgeous scent, in my opinion the best from the entire line. Crisp, sexy and musky. Probably best for colder months, but I wear it all year round because it's just so incredible. Not a safe blind buy because it is heavy on the musk, but if you're into that, then it's a must have. Longevity isn't the best for the price, but who cares when it smells this good.

LivsAnne

Very fruity fragrance, none of the original's DNA remains it is a completely different fragrance. Smells like a mixture of a few other fragrances, nice enough to keep throughout the warmer months but I will not be repurchasing. Stick to the original flowerbomb if you like spicy/sexy perfumes

Katelynl88

Ok this perfume smells like ysl “Mon Paris” mixed with narciso Rodriguez “for her” At first I get a lot of the spicy ness from the “ for her” then it dries down and resembles “ Mon Paris “ which used to be one of my faves but I think I have grown out of it . I will wear this but it’s not my fave . Smells so similar to the others and is nothing like the original. It’s a nice scent though . Ok edit years later ….. sometimes I reread my reviews and I’m so confused by what I’ve written because my opinion has changed so much . This smells like every other pepper rose spicy scent, the nr fluer music , sexy ruby, very irresistible, sweet diamond pink pepper and countless countless others , I’m actually quite sick of this scent

PaulieDoodle

Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Midnight Edp:

🗣Although I Do Really Like This Fragrance Very Much Indeed, (I LOVE Any Perfume That Has Patchouli In It) And It Smells Really Beautiful On My Skin, I Honestly Can't Justify Buying Myself A Bottle Of It, As It Smells So Similar To Another Spanish Perfume I Already Own And Love "LOEWE QUIZAS"QUIZAS"QUIZAS"!! ( Maybe"Maybe"Maybe) If You Did'nt Know It's Meaning!! Even The Dry Down Is Practically The Same!! As I've Actually Tested Both On My Different Arm's And The Over All Conclusion: Both The Same!! And Actually The Loewe Is Far Far Cheaper Than The Midnight Flowerbomb, And Wears For Around The Same Amount Of Time!! Of Course The Flowerbomb Bottle Is More Designer And Up Market Though!!

sweetelixir

I thought this was okay when first spraying it, but on my skin it smells sour!

Elisabeth M.

I get Narciso Rodriguez vibes here (first Rodriguez from 2003). This is an unsweet, musky version of Flowerbomb. By far the best of this range.

Miss Dolittle

It's fruity. It's not heavy. I don't like it. It's just too fruity.

pearsonns

I really like this because it smells like Mon Paris. Exactly the same.

Eta: 4 hours later I literally cannot tell the difference between this and MP. I even sprayed the MP on my other wrist and the two are the same. The Flowerbomb was a decant so I almost wonder if it was labeled wrong but for the moment ill leave it alone

realitygreene

The marketing of this fragrance is really affecting my perception of it. The bottle is black, the name evokes darkness, the information on the Viktor & Rolf website references mystery, seduction, and intimacy. However, if I try to ignore all of that and just focus on the scent itself, I'm left a bit confused. Although I think this scent smells nice, it's probably the most basic and boring of all the Flowerbomb flankers and certainly not the kind of scent I would imagine is inside this beautiful dark bottle. That being said, this scent is intense. It's so strong, actually it's too strong. I wish it wasn't as strong because it's coming off as cloying and screechy. I really wish the jasmine was sweeter and the peony less artificial.

I have two samples of Flowerbomb Midnight and I'll keep them, but this certainly isn't a love for me. I'll probably reach for them at night time or for going out.

My preference for the FB flankers: Flowerbomb > Flowerbomb Nectar > Flowerbomb Bloom > Flowerbomb Dew > Flowerbomb Midnight
(I really need to try Ruby Orchid!)

miss_aly

Ok. I'm pretty sure this is being discontinued since it was on sale at Sephora. But I blind bought it due to the good price. I don't own the original Flowerbomb but I HAVE smelled it before. This flanker is very different from the original. It's your basic dark fruity floral. The projection is just average and the longevity is only 3-4 hours. I sprayed this on myself AND my clothes 6 sprays this morning. Yet now that I'm at work, I can no longer smell it on my skin unless I put my wrist to my nose. On my wrist after the few hours, it just smells like some musk and sweetness. On my sweater it seems to be lasting longer though. I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't already have a darker fruity perfume. You definitely would wanna get it on sale though! Wouldn't have paid full price for it.

Luthien999

Juicy and sexy indeed! Projection is gr8. Longevity couple of hours. Night- time. Perfect for a Night out.

JamaicanPrincess

I never really liked the original Flowerbomb. I was just over it and it's flankers. But when I received a sample of Midnight, omg finally a flanker that is different. I love it!!. Very nice.

elm0505

This perfume smells like 20-something girls going out to the disco on a Saturday night. It's the typical sweet and heavy scent that seems to be all the rage nowadays. Meh...

frankmagyar2016

One of my favorite scents on my wife. The black currant and pomegranate fruity floral musk is very sexy and draws you in. Doesn’t last very long on the skin (1 hour?), you will need to spray on clothes for decent longevity.

leafia

after finishing two bottles of the original flowerbomb, I felt like changing things up a bit and turned to this one. midnight is definitely a good name for this particular flanker — it smells like flowerbomb’s slightly older, more mature sister who sneaks out at night to frolick in the dark as the original flowerbomb watches from the window, longing to come with. the essence of flowerbomb is still there (which was surprising to me considering the difference in notes) but midnight is slightly darker, sexier, more dangerous. this is definitely more of an evening perfume, perfect for a night out when you feel a bit mischiveous! just as with the original, the scent itself is not particularly unique, but personally I don’t mind that with this one because sometimes you just want something that’s easy on the nose and generally well-liked. so if you’re a fan of flowerbomb but you want to try something that feels just a bit different, I highly suggest this!

Perfumepusher

I find this perfume to smell like a mix of Yves Saint Laurent's Mon Paris and Stella McCartney's L.I.L.Y
That l.i.l.y one just got something in it that I really don't like and it shines through in flowerbomb midnight. I don't find it similar to the original flowerbomb which I love to death.

I would not recommend blind buying this one, which I did. To me it lacks character and annoys my nose to the fullest. I do respect those who like it ofc, that's why there is so many perfumes out there - to each their own.
I will stick to my OG flowerbomb and mon Paris.

SareBear3

It was alright, but the dry down on my clothes smelled more like grandma perfume.. somewhat reminding me of white diamond or chanel no 5. It is floral though.

M1tsouko

This fragrance definitely gave female ceo. i can imagine a woman as successful and mature as can be wearing a black pinstripe suit with her hair back walking in 6 inch heels to her next business meeting where she scoffs at and belittles her subordinate executive officers. definitely this a great fragrance to tell people that you're superior to them and to make you stand out from the crowd.

twoski

Opens with cassis mixed with sweet, tangy pomegranite. There's some background supporting florals. Slightly sweet, a bit green and fresh.

A pleasant fruity floral that isn't offensive or cloying. I could see this being an office scent. To my nose it's much more fruity, with the florals playing a supporting role. I'd call this one a cassisbomb (or cassis and pomegranite bomb) rather than a flowerbomb.

Doesn't jump off the test strip at me, i really have to jam it up my nose to get a good whiff. I hope that doesn't mean the performance will be subpar on this one. I'll need to do a full wearing to see.

meganlamode

I was excited to smell this because I love jasmine and musk together, but the black currant completely takes over this fragrance. It does match the "midnight" name with a deeper, "sexier" scent, but it had also completely disappeared within an hour of me spraying it on myself. Even as someone who enjoys skin scents, this was disappointing.

livwoodsx

Not a fan of the original Flowerbomb due to a dislike of patchouli. Received this as a gift - still a lot of floral, with some darkness throughout. To me, not as "fruity" on myself as others seem to find it, and struggle to pinpoint pomegranate or blackcurrant. Definitely pungent florals on the initial spray that mellows into a musky, pleasantly sweet background fragrance. Not as enormous a sillage as I would like, but receives complements when worn nonetheless.

daizeee

i kinda wish i didn't buy this. its too sexy and mature for me.

coffeefifofum

A few years ago "flowerbombs" were all the rage in urban gardening. Stick some seeds together with fertilized soil, huck it into an untended dirt strip in a parking lot or along the highway and let the flowers do their thing. This scent calls back to that legacy more than original flowerbomb did. It's a grab bag of florals and some quickly overwhelmed greens with a bit of heaviness to get the midnight note in there.

I tested on skin with a sample size from Sephora. Multiple sprays were required to get much of an effect. The green note is prominent but fades quickly to a floral/musk/powder blend (in that order). I supposed it's the black currant that gives it the hint of darkness, but the scent calls to mind the black more than the currant.

parfumparfan

This smells a lot like YSL Mon Paris. The same dark berry/red fruits w/ florals and vanilla. Really basic, good lasting power though. I'd say this is a better pick for evenings out; Mon Paris smells more fruity-floral while this leans into the musky-vanilla. It's nothing special but if you like YSL Mon Paris, Lancome Tresor, and perfumes of that type (berry/fruit, floral heart and vanilla base) this is the front runner of that group. I really like it and would consider a small bottle for evenings out.

LauraAD

Fruity blackcurrant but kinda boring....until I layered it with Kiehl's Original Musk. Then...boom...something truly delicious and different. I highly recommend trying the combination.

Mariyamokshina

My most favorite flowerbomb out of original, dew, nectar and bloom. I love the black currant and pomegranate! It’s so juicy when you first spray it on! Once it dries down the florals come in more , but just slightly to give it a nice bouquet. It’s the most refreshing in my opinion. It’s so well rounded , that I can imagine wearing this any time of day or year. I’m not a big floral person , so maybe that’s why I like this one the most ! The opening is amazing truly , but the dry down is not very impressive

amloki

I never liked the original Flowerbomb, but I love this one. This is a dark fruity floral that last several hours on me, but doesn't give me a headache(like the original). Very underrated imo.

pennypencil

More than most of the reviewers, I do get the Midnight aspect of this. The way the blackcurrant and peony (but smells like a full-bodied rose to me) merges with a warm musk skin-scent has a decidedly 'middle of the night' vibe. The white musk is very apparent in the dry-down, and not dissimilar to Jovan's cheapie White Musk. It isn't spectacularly unique, but is nicely done - as you'd expect considering the perfumers responsible), and even hints a little at Montales like Intense Cafe. Has very little in common with the original Flowerbomb.

mirnam

I agree with most reviewers that the longevity and the scent bubble on this one are poor. It is however a beautiful soft fruity fragrance, lightly floral and sits closer to the skin. Not all people are after beast mode fragrances and FBM is definitely for those people. Personally I would have preferred a stronger projection for sure. Not sure if I'd buy it again once I run out.

kiraj717

Not what I was expecting from a black bottle but this is nice. Its a lightly fruity fresh scent. I get berries at first spray. This is good but not out of the box wow.

Finalgirl

I loved this when I smelled it in the store and on paper. But the way it wore in my skin it went from a playful, slightly dark / mature fruity smell to a musty almost stinky scent. Washed it off upon my first chance. :(

I went to Sephora to test this fragrance and Flowerbomb Nectar. I heard so many good things about Nectar but not equal enthusiasm for Midnight so I was definitely excited to try the Nectar. To my surprise Midnight was the best perfume I smelled out of the 20+ I sampled while I was there, including Nectar. This is a really beautiful scent. Fruity too notes that dry down to a sweet floral musk. Not loud but intimate and romantic. Definitely going to buy this one.

RottigrlNYC

Wow what a let down. A boring fruity floral that gets musky in the dry down. It’s a skin scent in half hour. Dont get sucked in by the opening, it goes down hill from there. I wouldn’t pay more than $20 for this thing. Boooooring is how I’d describe it

RainbowGirl

The pomegranate and black currant in the opening is fruity sweet, but with an almost patchouli feel to it. Patchouli is not a listed note, but I imagine a hint of it in the opening.

It stays fruity sweet for a long time. This is almost too fruity sweet for me, which I never thought was possible. Ha. Makes me crave that night blooming jasmine note, to lift the heavy sweetness, but when the jasmine finally comes, it is very light.

The black bottle is appropriate for this fragrance. This smells evening, or cold winter day.

Beautiful scent aura. Great projection, good for lasting. Would be nice for layering, to add a berry fruity scent to other fragrances. A safe blind buy for fruity fragrance lovers, or pomegranate lovers.

PlanetGrl

Reminds me very much of YSL Mon Paris which is fine—it’s one that I enjoyed although I said I probably wouldn’t purchase another bottle. This is a touch more floral and less sweet than Mon Paris. On my skin the longevity is just as good though, a successful blind buy. I love wearing this one to bed, it’s still with me the next morning. Lovely scent.

QueenieIrenie

I've tried this out a few times already and I'm just not a fan of this flanker. I love the original Flowerbomb, and I enjoyed what I smelled of Flowerbomb Nectar on a test strip, but Flowerbomb Midnight is a bit of a mess IMO. It starts of super sweet, like a berry syrup, and dries down to a musky scent really quickly. I like musks when done right, like the clean musk in Narciso, Delina, or Ex Nihilo's Gold Immortals. To me, the musk here is not very smooth, but perhaps it's not well-blended? It doesn't seem to mesh well with the other notes. I love peony and jasmine, but they seem to get overpowered by the black currant, pomegranate and musk notes. It actually resembles YSL Mon Paris more, especially since even though patchouli isn't listed as a note, I'm almost certain I smell it, but maybe the musk used in FB Midnight is dirtier/earthier and hence resembles patchouli? I feel like perhaps this should have been a standalone fragrance, as it doesn't seem to resemble the original FB at all, at least to my nose.

lilliankim98

Smells kind of like Chloe edp.

DaniBear1121

I really wish perfumers would actually include all the notes in their fragrance descriptions since many people can be sensitive to specific notes. This is one of those cases. I should have loved this, would have loved this, but there is a significant amount of patchouli that smacks me in the nose immediately in FB Midnight. As usual, the note overtakes everything else and there is nothing pleasant here for me. Bottom line: try a sample of this one first. It's only a safe blind buy if you enjoy or are not sensitive to patchouli.

aljalex

A very sweet fragrance without much Flowerbomb DNA. I can detect a strong black currant note that makes it heavier, almost cloying to my nose at first, and then it dries down to a creamier skin scent without much projection and a pleasant hint of pomegranate and vanilla. The sillage and longevity are also quite disappointing for a Viktor&Rolf perfume, it sits close to the body and only lasts a couple of hours on my skin.
Overall, there are a ton of sweet fruity fragrances out there, so save your money and get something longer lasting. Flowerbomb Midnight is probably the poorest performing and most generic scent of the whole V&R line-up. It's my least favourite Flowerbomb flanker so far, I much prefer Bloom and Dew and I'm glad that I only got a small travel-size bottle of this.

Egaines23

This smells better overtime, I wasn’t impressed the initial spray. After sitting on skin for an hour or so it starts to smell more like a musky, clean scent. I quite enjoy it. However, it does not project and definitely does not last very long. I will say it does stick to clothes a bit better. A bit disappointed and happy I only got the small perfume size.

twiztidladii

I’m so let down by this perfume. I have been wanting this for months and was about to pull the trigger on the large bottle but decided to try it on ScentBox instead. I am SO glad I did. It doesn’t smell anything like how I imagined the notes would smell together. For me, there is nothing deep, dark, seductive, or mysterious about this perfume which is what I was hoping for with the name Midnight. Oh well, I’m just glad I didn’t drop $80+ on the full bottle.

Cliche1206

I tried this today for the first time as a sampler I got from ordering from Sephora. It smells like Dark Kiss from BBW which I like but was expecting more from Viktor&Rolf!!!!! The smell is almost identical, at least on my body chemistry. Definitely floral, I don’t smell midnight or anything that suggests any kind of chemistry that one might think of when they think of “midnight “. It reminds me of spraying myself down with a buy 3 get 2 free. Don’t get me wrong, I really love the scent which is why I own the whole line at BBW but I most definitely wouldn’t pay V&R prices for something I already have that’s a quarter of the price. I do think it’s been discontinued but they always bring it back around again at some point. In fact, I’m willing to part with a full body cream and body spray of dark kiss if you’d like to smell like Midnight.

GBakly

This is a very confusing perfume 🙄

It is a nice fruity/floral scent, nothing ground breaking, and the confusing part; it is quite a bright scent nothing nocturnal or midnight-ish about it as the name and the bottle suggest...you get a very fruity opening and then a nice vanilla/floral dry down.

The longevity is short lived, maybe 4 hours max with almost no sillage, very skin like scent

I think V&R could have done better with this one and for sure this will not be a stable in my collection

danielemcastro

I own two perfumes that were mentioned on previous reviews (YSL Mon Paris and Moonlight by Ariana Grande) and definitely Flowerbomb Midnight reminds me A LOT of MON PARIS from YSL, without the sharpness of the initial blast.
It does not remind me at all of Moonlight by Ariana Grande.
Flowerbomb Midnight is fruity, delicate and feminine. The floral notes are surprisingly subtle but I can smell patchouli even though is not listed.

lisa bailets

While a previous reviewer thinks it's misleading to consider this fragrance fruity since they think it's heavily floral, I only smell fruit and wonder where the floral is hiding. And patchouli. Although it's not listed in the notes, I smell patchouli.

aeanian

I will be short with my review, since I don't like this perfume very much. The bottle is pretty, creative and simple. But i think it's very misleading this fragrance to be considered fruity - it is not fruity. It's heavily floral. There is some sweetness to it, but it's very light, I can mainly detect the floral notes and it smells a bit like vintage perfume (if you know what I mean). It's just not my cup of tea. That being said, I will probably keep it since I already have it, but it's definitely for those of you who like very sweet or fruity perfumes. This one is rather heavy and mature scent. It's quite strong, but not very longlasting on me. It's an ok one, a bit meh. I don't feel inspired when smelling it, unfortunately. I think I can sense some musk in it, which gives it this silage. I don't have much to say about it. If i have to vote from 1 to 10 I would say it's 5/10. Get it only if you enjoy floral perfumes, for no other reason because it's literally floral/spicy. I don't really detect the black current nor the pomegranate. Maybe the bit of sweetness comes from it? Or maybe is the peak? I can't really tell..

annelogan

I didn't care for it at first spray, and now about an hour later I'm not too impressed. This isn't that special. It was reminding me of something and I couldn't put my finger on it, but it's Bath & Body Works' Dark Kiss. They're not exactly the same, of course, but close enough. Luckily I like Dark Kiss but from this house I do expect a little more.

Tolkashutka

I got a generous 7 mL sample of this as a free gift from Sephora, and I vastly prefer this over the original Flowerbomb, anyday.

At opening, I got pomegranate, peony and a tiny bit of musk. As it dried down, the pomegranate took a backseat to the black currant. IIRC, black currant is the predominant note in Si Passione, and I'm getting similar vibes from that. I'm a little shocked that it's not in the "reminds me of" section, but everyone has different noses, I suppose.

I went ahead and grabbed my travel spray of Si Passione to make sure I wasn't (completely) losing my marbles, and their black currant notes sure strike me as similar. Of the two, I'd call Passione the lighter day time scent (of the two), and FB Midnight the after work / date night scent, and the two wouldn't clash.

After a good 30+ minutes, FB Midnight then turns in a big ole' sexy musk on me, and I couldn't be more pleased. YAAAAAAS. I thought a few of ya'll had lost your damn minds comparing this to NR For Her EDT, but if you're not a major musk fan, I can see where you thought that.

Atomikbomb_

Despite appearing as if this would be darker and heavier, I actually find it to be less intensive than the original.

I greatly enjoy dark berry fragrances and felt the urge to sample something new. This has been on my radar because of the blackcurrant, and I'm pleased to say that that note is the most obvious beside the vanilla. The pomegranate isn't really showing up, but it has a cleanness to it as well like crisp fruits (then again, I seem to be fortunate in that I never smell "cat pee" from blackcurrant). It never really differs or takes you on an olfactory ride, but it's consistently linear the entire time, sweetly musky and vanillic.

The performance is average, and lasts around 6 hours. It's somehow not as cheap smelling as the original FB and I really enjoy the floral heart it has as well, even if I cannot tell overtly that it's jasmine. This won't push the senses or create any epiphanies...but sometimes I don't really want a stirring experience anyway, I just want something good with a note that I love.

Overall, this is a solid like and a 7/10.

HouseOfMirth

I expected it to be darker, stronger, and more floral.
I can really smell the black currant, which is nice. Overall, it's too fruity for me (at least in the fall, I should try it again once we are out of "sweater weather"). I prefer my sweet scents to have a lot more vanilla.
After several hours, the musk did start to show through, but retains a sweet fruitiness.

muneerah

I looooved it and cant describe what the smell is ,, reminds me a bit of Narciso the black bottle musky fresh deep ,, so my style just wish it dose project more

Nicoley Polie Olie

This has become a signature scent of mine! Beautiful, jammy black currant and pomegranate with fresh peony and jasmine! Later you get more of the muskiness which add a sexy feel to it! The original Flowerbomb was way too powerful with the patchouli and sweetness (it actually triggered my asthma), but this one is more delicate, fruity and sensual. I agree that it’s not a clubbing/party scent like the original, this is her cousin who is sweet and flirty and likes spending quality time with her loved ones at home. 10/10 recommend if you love black currant or pomegranate or something that is fruity but sexy

beatrix75

The best parfum of all time the best creation from viktor & rolf ,the scent its gorgeous beautiful light but strong staying power long lasting and very sexy .10/10.....ps I finally find my signature scent...proud

Narissaeh

Not long lasting. Very boring scent. I just wasn't keen on it at all. 4/10. I much prefer the original flowerbomb it will always be my all time favourite

CthrnBn

When I smell this at Sephora, I was surprised how much like moonlight by Ariana grande it smelled like.
If you like the smell of moonlight but want a fragrance that isn’t from an artist (since they tend to be discounted quickly) this one is the way to go. I barely smell a difference.

DarlingNikki

This smells like the OG Flowerbomb and the OG YSL Mon Paris went to a party together, got intoxicated by each other, and boom, Flowerbomb Midnight was born nine months later LOL. The one issue I have with this scent, which I do like much more than the original Flowerbomb, is the black currant note. I don't like black currant at all (almost always smells like cat pee to my nose) and I really wish blackberry had been used instead. :( I will say that when I initially tested it, I was sorely disappointed in it (or the black currant rather), but now some months later, I've gone back to test the sample and it smells much better to me. It is incredibly strong at first spray, nearly made me cough, but it settles into a pleasant fruity-floral quickly. I think if someone likes the typical Mon Paris/LVEB/Flowerbomb fruitchulis they should like this, too, since it clearly belongs in that family, even though there is apparently no patchouli here (I swear I smell it but it's not horrible, which is surprising lol).

katsong

This is really nice. It has the characteristic flowerbomb notes, but the blackcurrant makes it more gourmand. The berry notes are not tart (unlike raspberry). Overall, it's smooth, juicy, sweet, slightly syrupy but not cloying. It's not a very loud fragrance. I think it would be great for a spring or summer evening. I own the Flowerbomb EXTREME which is my favorite version, if you can't find a replacement for the EXTREME version I would try this one, although it's not as long lasting. 7/10

crystalistheone

Let me start off by saying if you love black currant you will totally love this perfume. This midnight flanker is my second favorite in the flower bomb line, I do have all the flankers and the original flower bomb. The projection and longevity on this perfume is excellent it is overall a great perfume and I’m happy to have it in my collection.

Tamsos valdove

Far from midnight. I expected it to be dark and mesmerizing. Unfortunately it is just a super sweet bouquet and worse than the original.

elliesndrs

bought this today. haven’t worn it yet but have been sniffing the card i sprayed it on all day due to the fact from the very first smell it reminded me of a fragrance, or two. i just realised it reminded me of yves saint laurent mon paris, was so happy i finally realised what it was! but then my mind focused on the peony and suddenly i couldn’t help but think of jo malone peony & blush suede?! a lovely mix of the two with notes of flowerbomb that makes you remember you’re smelling a viktor & rolf fragrance. overall to me this is a floral, musky dream. for fans of YSL mon paris and jo malone peony & blush suede - i highly recommend this! 🥰

Siv7Stars

Initial blast I could definitely smell the Flowerbomb, in fact I thought it was exactly the same at first but it morphs quite quickly n not well.. just turns into fruit gums.. in a plastic bucket, there's something.. dusty about it.. possibly the patch..The original also smells a lot more expensive than this. This is flanker 52?(!!!) for those who're attempting to count. The bottle is one of the best at least, the grenade works well in black. I daresay they will bring out more flankers. Maybe do a matt finish grey silver one guys, I don't think there has yet been one that really exploits the grenade design. You could call it Urban Flowerbomb n emphasis metallic notes or something.

kaylanorma

You really have to wait for the dry down with this one. It smells like a generic floral at first, but the jasmine, musk, and saltiness really shine after the first half hour. It smells very sensual but office appropriate. It's also a great fragrance to reach for if you just want something safe and pleasant with a bit of a sexy edge.

MademoiselleMaya

There is nothing dark or midnighty about it, and with the loud, recognizable classic it shares only the bottle design.
Well, maybe midnight smells like currants now?
It is your regular crowd pleaser fruity scent with vanilla, and you can smell that it is a simple construction.
I am wondering how the companies are not ashamed of themseles for spawning hundreds of the same parfumes every year under different names. It's like each of the companies uses a juice from the same common barrel and adds or removes an ingredient or two.
This is not ugly, it is o.k in an average way, and there is nothing designer, special or midnight about it.
They should call it Viktor & Rolf Crowd Pleaser.

ssailorrnep

Dark vanilla + Musky + Wood +Warm Sugar+ Peony + Coffee

Reminds me of the Yves Saint Laurent Black Opium and Lady Gaga's Eau de Parfum (Fame)

Smells Amazing but has a weird alchol-like scent at first
9/10

masako_30

'Midnight' is very delicate. It is a breath.
Nothing nocturnal characterizes it to my senses, otherwise, bottle and name let me imagine it.
On the skin it is docile, in a few minutes it settles calm and suffused, then slowly begins to radiate.
The opening made me think of Chloé, only for a few moments I thought it was there, or that I had smell it before.
Then it took a path of sweetness of its own, a newly opened box of comfit, sweets and candies opens in my hands. Then it changes again.
I hardly remember Flowerbomb, I can guess that 'Midnight' is a little less sweet, with a hint of peony that makes it a bit soapy and flirty. Suave.

DrRosie

Used this fragrance while I was in Montreal this week in the cold snowy day, it lasted over 10 hours on. It is definitely a keeper.

Nancy83

A fruity floral jam scent, more on the muskier side than fresh, it's dark, deep and sexy. Sadly I found it overall too musky for my taste and it does smell patchoulish, a note I tend to dislike.

The projection starts heavy, not as intense as Flowerbomb Nectar, then 1-2 hours later the sillage gets more moderate, more my style, woodier, less fruity and I could smell more the flowers. Around 5-6 hours it's softer, but still sniffable. I would say the longevity is moderate.

I will finish the sample when I feel for a musky fruity floral, but I don't think I will buy it. People around me seem to like it a lot, Midnight is not a bad perfume, just not fully my type, but I will use up my sample and see.

LilyOfTheValley1988

Lovely sensual sexy scent!
I have just bought this perfume.
I fell in love with the scent in the first few minutes after testing it in a duty free shop.
I bought it with no hesitation (even if I had entered the shop to buy another perfume: )) )
I prefer to wear it in the evening-night.

ntabassum92

Been sampling this for the past couple of days. I don't get any hint of the original Flowerbomb from this. It's a sour berry musky perfume. Reminds me a lot of Lady Gaga Fame, but much more posh and classy than that fragrance. They are both sour fruity musky fragrances, heavy on the dense musky patchouli.

I don't enjoy this fragrance until the far drydown (8+ hours in) when I get whiffs of a "men's fragrance" type smell. In the far drydown, it smells really nice, like a very delicious, slightly sweet and fruity, men's cologne. I like that stage, but I could also probably find a men's fragrance to wear that smells that good the whole way through. It doesn't necessarily smell bad before the drydown (like I said, it is fancy "perfume" smelling) but when I sniff my wrist up close, I always wrinkle my nose like "ehh, berry musk." Not my type of perfume.

The naming on this one is strange. I agree with what someone else wrote in their review - it's misnamed, just as Si Passione was misnamed. There is no Flowerbomb in here, nor is there much Midnight. This is a pretty safe daytime fragrance, no one detects it on me.

Heretic_Housewife

I wore this today, from a sample. I like it. It's a nice fruity-floral with a touch of musk to tone it down a touch. I like the fruit notes, they're a little bit tart and I prefer that to sweeter fruit notes. The fragrance isn't overly sweet, and that makes it more wearable to me. Lasting power was pretty good. I can smell it as a skin scent 6 hours later. Sillage was good too. Right after spraying it on, my husband noticed it from arm's length. So not a room filler, but definitely some projection. He really liked it, so there's that going for it too. Will I buy a bottle? Not sure, I have a couple more applications left in the sample vial, so we'll see. It's one I'm considering though.

baerro

I've tried this, and like it exponentially more than the original Flowerbomb, which was a powdery mess on my skin. Not sure why it's called "Midnight" other than the fact that it's in a black bottle - it's more of a daytime perfume, honestly. I get mostly blackcurrant and musk, with peony in the background. The musk isn't hurting my head here, but it's still not my most favorite note, so Flowerbomb Midnight isn't something I'd purchase for myself. Still, nice.

meg0825

This is the first Flowerbomb flanker that I've tried and I'm digging it. Shares the DNA of the original but is much fruitier. Sweet and jammy fruit opening followed by fresh peony and heady jasmine. Soft white musk in the dry down. I think I may add this to my wish list. :)

Lauren528

This smells good but is much too light. Dont waste your money

muahah

My first thought was... another fruitchouli? I checked notes in other sites and in few it's mentioned that there is patchouli.

Notes: sparkling blackcurrant, night-blooming jasmine, sensual musk, vanilla, patchouli.

Perfume is feminine, with very distant vibe of original Flowerbomb, but more darker, dreamy and not so sweet. It have some individuality as in video model with fancy sleeves. But patchoili is not so unique itself. More for date night, than party. Stays maybe half hour.

Fliss

As I walked in the store this was being sprayed around and I thought what a lovely fragrance. Sadly the drydown on me was sickly sweet . A big disappointment. passed it to my daughter her skin chemistry is totally different to mine and she smelt great!!

smellagent

I really like this FB flanker. It def. has the FB DNA with a twist. A lot more fruity than my other flankers. This lasts a long time so no problem with longevity. I do get that black current note(no urine quality to the note) but mostly this is pomegranate and vanilla on me.

jovejove

Thought I’d share; tomorrow and Saturday, they’re giving away samples of Midnight and Night Vision, and deluxe size Flowerbomb creams in Toronto at the Eaton Centre for anyone who’s a fan or wants to try the fragrances.

I’m not compensated for this informations, just sharing

Astar

Absolutely gorgeous scent that feels the least alike to the original Flowerbomb. No wonder, when the signature rose was replaced by a gentle peony. I smell some mint and white florals, but also the blackcurrant is definitely present. It's taunting and romantic at the same time, perfect for long summer nights that last forever.

genny17

I hesitated to review it as honestly I don't find it to be anything special...it is a vanilla scent, very forgettable, no complexity, and certainly not as interesting as the original...i wouldn't spend the money on it as I think you can find similar for less money..like it smells nice and lots of people love vanilla scents, but it is really weak and a bit generic..!? Like why is it called Midnight I don't know, it isn't warm or sensuous, just a light vanilla scent...

mermaidshimmer

Juicy fruits with an undercurrent of vanilla and light spice. This bears an amazing similarity to Escada’s Rockin’ Rio (I should know because I went through 3 bottles of it and it used to be my favorite fragrance way over a decade ago). The sillage is light. Walked by my daughter and she said she didn’t smell me. Normally, she complains that my perfume is too strong. You will NOT offend anyone with this, so it would be a good office scent. Makes a nice personal skin scent, but for an expensive perfume, I would love better sillage. This has the strength of a light cologne.

the_new_esta

Seems like the name should’ve been ‘Safe Flowerbomb’... or perhaps, ‘Flowerpoke’ as it doesn’t resemble a bomb anymore.

missk

This is the first Flowerbomb flanker in a long while that doesn't smell like a complete replicate of the original. Flowerbomb Midnight not only stands on its own two feet, but it might also be my favourite Viktor & Rolf fragrance to date.

This flanker is a much darker scent than the original and is less sugary. It opens with juicy pomegranate and black currant, establishing itself early on as relatively dark, rich fruity fragrance. The drydown is quite sensual on the skin with dominant notes of musk, vanilla, peony, patchouli and praline, (although the latter two notes aren't listed on Fragrantica).

I personally consider Flowerbomb Midnight to be more of a romantic scent rather than a bar-hopping, wild party-girl scent. I think those that expect a loud nightclub-appropriate fragrance may be a little disappointed. 'Midnight' also does not equate to 'intense', so if intense is what you are after, look no further than the aptly named Flowerbomb Intense.

Flowerbomb Midnight lasted quite well on my skin, so I have no complaints regarding longevity. So far my opinions are favourable, however, I do intend to sample this fragrance extensively before making any hasty purchases.

chicagogirl

I think Midnight is the perfect name for this fragrance. It smells nothing like the original FB, let's just get that out of the way first lol. It's a very musky, dark floral. It smells like so many other fragrances on the market. A sultry sexy perfume that's great for night time. Hints of berries with strong musk and peonies. Nice but not unique. It's very forgettable in my opinion. I had to keep smelling my wrist to remember the scent.

LisaMari

It opens with an interesting piquant rose but dries down a bit too musky and spicy.. the black currant adds freshness and helps balance it. It’s a bit like Petit Robe Noir, that perky fabric note.. but dirty and spicy

FrkFors

There's nothing midnight about this. It's not dark and it's not sexy. It's just a sweet, fresh, everyday scent. It's even a bit light and it stays close to skin, at least on me.
It's a bit disappointing in my opinion.

MissO

I really like this!
It helps that my bestie and I each bought a bottle together while on a super fun perfume shopping trip. And Nordstrom's monogrammed the caps for us! Hee! What a treat :).

But in it's own right, pleasant associations aside, I just like it. It's jammy but not too sweet. Floral but not cloying. Something in there (the vanilla, I suspect) smoothes it together. I see the dark color of the berry notes in my mind's eye when I wear this, and I like that.

It's not dark like Tom Ford's Noir de Noir. But it's dark like gourmet jam. You know the kind. Plus, how cute is the bottle? A hand grenade, ha! Sweet, serious, silly, beautiful. Feels nice in the hand.

Not super sillage, but that suits its character. After the initial dark berry blast, on me that softens down into more floral/vanilla, with just a hint of the dark berry. Not a skin scent, but a close scent at that point.

I like smelling my wrist with it, it makes me feel like I'm having a treat, it's lovely in an over 25 way (which I am), so...thumbs up!

Soutty123

Really disappointing blind buy. Just smells like sour fruit.

lmwimsatt

This really is nothing special. Musk, pomegranate and currant. Meh. Biggest problem is its weakness. Zero silage and horrible longevity. Does anyone else smell a hint of lavender though? I definitely think this one evokes more of a midnight feel than flowerbomb bloom. Btw I would have called this flowerbomb midnight bloom bc it's the midnight vs of bloom, not the original flowerbomb

OtterMoone

On first spray, my fiance likes it! Very fruity and cute; reminds me of something I've tried before by Ed Hardy... Hearts & Daggers, maybe?

After 5 minutes: Heavier scent of musk and wood starts to make this feel more "adult".

After 10 minutes: Vanilla has started to come out a bit now, with the wood and musk underneath and the smallest bit of fruit.

After 15 minutes: All the scents have come together now, and it's almost like a light, sweet incense, with just a hint of fruit. Lovely!

After an hour: Very subtle; mostly musk, and a slight sweetness.

I can definitely see me wearing this out on a date night when I want to seem sweet but mature. Definitely for intimate occasions, where you'll be in close proximity to a small amount of people--this wouldn't get very far in a club or huge party, as it stays very close to the skin and doesn't really last for more than a few hours, but it's classier than your typical celebrity perfume.

As compared to the original Flowerbomb, this isn't as overly sweet due to the lack of patchouli. It's a more mature version, with a hint of sweetness. The woody musk scent really rounds this out beautifully and elevates the fruitiness so that it's feminine without being too "girly".

Overall, I love it!

mom2wing

I've worn Flowerbomb for years and felt like a change, but over the years, nothing has come close to my fondness for the original FB. Flowerbomb Midnight is perfect. It's a very simlar, but more mature version of Flowerbomb; not quite as floral/ sweet.

violetstorm

so i just got this today & to my surprise its very light lol........i thought it would be this dark intense midnight version of flowerbomb with jasmine & peony being a stand out & a nice warm & creamy vanilla musk base ..............well..........not so lol........

its a nice perfume & i love flowerbomb & all the off springs but this one was just nice & simple....unfortunately not a stand out - i would rate this one the least favorite in the line - but thats not saying i dont like it - i do - its just super simple, light, kind of plain for flowerbomb

in fact i cant even tell which note is a stand out cuz nothing really stands out on me lol so i would say this is a totally safe perfume to wear anywhere lol

this should of been named flowerbomb tranquil lol

jovejove

This time, let us ride the Tuberose trend. Hopefully this isn’t going to be too much, especially with it being an EDP.

i can't wait
