Flowerbomb Nectar Viktor&Rolf for women
Perfume rating 4.10 out of 5 with 2,376 votes
Flowerbomb Nectar by Viktor&Rolf is a Amber Floral fragrance for women. Flowerbomb Nectar was launched in 2018. Flowerbomb Nectar was created by Domitille Michalon Bertier, Olivier Polge, Dominique Ropion and Carlos Benaim. Top notes are gunpowder, Cassis and Bergamot; middle notes are Osmanthus, Orange Blossom and Jasmine Sambac; base notes are Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Benzoin and Patchouli.
Flowerbomb Nectar is the new member of the Flowerbomb fragrance collection from Viktor&Rolf. It represents a magical and surreal journey into the heart of the flower and an intense and fierce explosion of fresh and metallic accents and an intense floral agreement.
Flowerbomb Nectar opens with an unusual and "explosive" note of gunpowder accord that brings a freshness and slightly metallic feel. It features a floral syrup in its heart, made of notes of orange blossom, jasmine and osmanthus. The composition dries down with notes of benzoin, vanilla and tonka bean. It is made to be an intense scent for the evening, more intimate and mysterious that the original.
It is available as a 30, 50 and 90 ml Eau de Parfum Intense.

SHERBERT DIB DAB! I love this it smells similar to the original but this one lasts so much longer compared to the original. I get a sugary sherbet / Fizzy smell like love heart’s or refresher sweets with a hint of liquorice. Like a sherbert dib dab. It’s also like smelling a bag of pick n mix. This projects and lasts extra well and it’s probably the best one to get. This one and the new tiger lily are my favourite from the collection.

I agree with both @Lykopa and @mimiare reviews. A sweet fruitachouli floral that is interesting. Fruitachouli were a genre I had to grow into. My husband was enthusiastic from the start. The more I wore them the more I began to like them. They last, they project and they get compliments. All the things most woman want in a perfume. I am not a fan of the original FB at all. The orchid note for me isn't blended well with the other florals and the tea note and for me the original is screechy. Now Nectar is a fun girl. When you first spray Nectar it is like lighting a sparker on the 4th of July evening. That lit spark smell really comes through but they blended it so well with the super sweet cassis, and vanilla. It smells like smoky, sparkling cotton candy and rock sugar. I should really hate this because it is sooooo sweet but that gunpowder note keeps me coming back for more. Does it remind me of others I own in this genre? Yes, but it is different enough for me to want a FB? The answer is YES! Nectar is a bad but pretty fun girl that smoked to much and your mom told you not to hangout with in highschool but oh did you ever have so much fun getting into trouble together, and getting away with even more.

I really wanted to like this one as I’ve been trying to find sweeter scents to wear, but this one had me so gagged I had to wash it off right away—at least try, because the bugger would not leave my skin lol. It has so many notes I love and while I was skeptical because of the gunpowder note, ordered it anyways because it seemed right up my alley. Unforunately, I was met with a sharp metallicy top note from the gunpowder that combined with the other notes made me smell super powdery, and I ended up smelling very very vintage in a not so attractive way. Gave the sample I had to my friend and it smelt a lot sweeter on her. For the gunpowder note alone, would not recommend this as a blind buy.

It smells like dirt but oddly it doesn't smell bad I just prefer the bloom version of Viktor and rolf
SweetEnigmaticSoul
This is a sweet & lovely fragrance! I truly agree with a few precious comments which stated it smelled like a smoky cotton candy! I love cotton candy and honestly don’t mind smelling like one!!
If you adore very sweet perfumes, then this one may definitely be for you! I don’t regret purchasing this one! ❤️
Lykopa
Sweet, floral and DIFFERENT! The gunpowder note throws you for a loop in a fun way! I wear this when I know im going to get absolutely trashed (im a college student it’s ok) and i want to smell presentable all night. It reminds me of red berry candy and sweet syrup. With a dash of cassis. It’s the fruitchouli final boss.

Honestly I just cannot get along w the gunpowder note
It sort of smells like screechy pink pepper
aspirina
Very sweet fruity version of FB. On my skin I get a lot of berries and cream. The patchouli is soft and gentil. I guess it is not groundbreaking but this is so good. So flirty and sexy. I like it a lot.

I loved the original Flowerbomb, so I had to test this one out. Nectar is too gourmand for me; it's like a super sweet sangria made with Moscato, red jolly ranchers and overripe fruits, but I'm a Sauvignon Blanc girl. That scent profile can work really well for a lot of people, just not me. Better for evenings and cooler weather. Cloying at first, tested in store and I had to roll down the windows in my car 30 minutes later so I could breathe. Lasted about 7-8 hours on my skin and longer on my blouse, I could still smell it a couple days later when I put it in the wash.

This perfume is a floral gourmand through and through. The floral sweetness is jammy and deep (but not necessarily cloying), like Turkish Delight on your tongue. The gunpowder note doesn't stand out in an obvious way, but seems to influence the depth of this perfume. It has the slightest smokiness to it that is ephemeral and faint. For those who feel like they can very easily detect the gunpowder note - I'm jealous. It blends in too well for my nose. Overall, this is a sophisticated and complex jammy-sweet floral. It's comforting and feminine and I just want to savor the scent all the time.

Dripping spring honey!
A blind buy. Definitely takes time to get used to this gunpowder note.
Honestly there’s too much fuss about this note (it smells minty and a little bit medicinal), it’s almost off putting but it becomes tolerable with time.
First impression was a disappointment (way to expensive..) and the gunpowder note was a struggle but with time I find myself always reaching to it!
Smells like honey (og, from the bee farm not the straight sugar in store honey) specifically, spring honey - the one that has floral scents to it (more aromatic than the summer’s one, and a little less sweet). This is literally it. Wayyyy better than the OG FB, which is boring compared to this.
Not that sickeningly sweet (scandal by JPG is way sweeter) and to be honest not really loud.
Actually it has moderate projection and longevity (sadly..). People that like sweet scents don’t be scared with comments bellow, it’s srsly addictive syrupy sweet.
mimiarie
Dark pink cotton candy-if there was such a thing. Definitely my favorite flowerbomb, actually the only one I like 🎀 this one is not as floral dominant, it is sweet and syrupy, but not too juvenile. The gunpowder to me does not smell smoky, but adds a zest that makes it interesting.
vpace91
Compared to the original, it's way sweeter and juicier. It's probably too strong for summer I think. Definitely don't want to overspray this one unless you wanna smell like straight up Sweet Tarts 😁 And I do get the licorice note at the beginning that others have mentioned.
As it dries down though, it start to remind me of Alien! Must be the jasmine sambac.

Fruitchouli is putting it mildly. I do really like this and not in an every person way. I actually smelled this on a flight attendant when I was traveling and asked her what it was. I quickly went out to buy it! It’s my favorite flanker of V&R Flowerbomb. I don’t hear to much hype on this on Youtube.
I don’t get the gunpowder at all only orange blossom, vanilla, patch, and tonka bean. This lasts all day on me and even longer on my clothes. I love the bottle too and the juice after a while gets darker (weird but that attracts me even more to a fragrance) I’m sure it’s the vanilla and tonka together. Sillage is a compliment getter and gently waifs behind you and even better when someone comes in for a hug. Great Valentine or Galentine day scent! 10/10
Sodastream83
This is truly one of the most beautiful scent creations ever made. Unfortunately I got burned out on it when I oversprayed in the summer heat and choked myself out and everyone around me. But I took it out again this winter and continued my love affair with it. Smoky cotton candy is a great way to describe it. Juicy/syrupy and makes your mouth water. Just go easy on the sprays, it hits hard.
vibrant.girl
The ultimate fruitchouli perfume for me. I don’t get along with regular FB, the patchouli is still too loud for me in the drydown… but while searching for a perfume for my mom I decided to try this version. WOW. So much sweeter, the gunpowder accord gives a slightly metallic/earthy vibe, and the patchouli isn’t scratchy. Love. In the world of fruity patch frags, I love this best.
kitko
This pulls together orange blossom, osmanthus, vanilla, and, of all things, “gun powder accord,” which I was surprised to read but understood the more I sniffed, as much as it does hide under the veritable garden on top. the citrus notes don't really register for me; instead I get a kind of honeyish tang from this that's just like ... intoxicating. smells so damn good but it is much heavier than flowerbomb/flowerbomb dew, so while you can wear it in the daytime it's gotta be applied with a light hand.

This was my wedding perfume :) It's sexy and delicious. A great callback to the original Flowerbomb while also holding its own! Love love love!

Smells like grandma on me
jadepo21
As a Flowerbomb lover, I wanted to adore this. But there is an oddness in the top notes I simply do not like and I presume it is the gunpowder. I have no idea what gunpowder smells like, but to my nose the note is like a burnt licorice. The good news is, it fades quickly and the heart of the scent is a rather sweet and enjoyable floral. But, for me, there is zero lasting power. Not worth the cost in my book if I have to wait for the Calamity Jane top notes to fade and am left with a too-fleeting scent.
shery k
A little vibe of OG
But so delicious licorish
So good fell 🥰

I want to start off by mentioning that I’m not typically really drawn to florals too often, but the Flowerbomb fragrances (Flowerbomb, Ruby Orchid, Nectar, and Midnight) are all exceptions! While they all have the Flowerbomb DNA, to me Nectar is the one that’s the most different than the original! I do struggle sometimes with fragrances that have a patchouli note in them, but I think it’s been done right in these and I find it to be least noticeable in Nectar!
Flowerbomb Nectar is sweet, flirty, playful, and happy! It’s got this really lovely sweet candy like smell without coming off as a body mist or something for a teenager! Sort of like subtle smoky/spicy, floral, cotton candy scent! It’s absolutely delicious and so very beautiful! Its sweet and syrupy candy like scent just makes me smile!
The performance is excellent! The longevity is fantastic, I can still smell it on me the next morning! The projection is really great too… it radiates out a few feet from me. I also don’t need very much to get this effect, so I think that makes this a good value for the price!
For reference, some of my other favorite florals besides the Flowerbomb ones include: Coach Love (2012 version), Coach Poppy Blossom, Coach Poppy Wild Flower, Chloe Love Story, and Chloe. I don’t know if these are exactly considered strictly florals, but also Dolce & Gabbana The One and Sol de Janeiro 59.
If anyone has any they’re looking to part with, please contact me because I’m looking to get another bottle.
Ellyloveswednesday
When I first got a sample of this, I immediately fell in love. The sweet, thick syrupy smell with a spicy gunpowder in the opening... it's totally sexy and yummy to me. I used up multiple samples while saving up for a full bottle.
If you buy a new bottle: know that after opening it takes a few weeks/months before it reaches its full syrup potential. The color gets darker too.
It's my favorite scent and my husband also loves this on me.
It is strong, so I only need 2 sprays to last the whole day. I wear this all year round, just in summer only in the evening and very sparingly.
In general this is more of an occasion scent, to me it's a bit too much for every day.
Gemsense
Very patchouli heavy— should’ve been called Flowerbomb Intense. Flowerbomb Ruby Orchid is far better, midnight too. I’ll have to play around with this in different temperatures and seasons but right now the patch is too much for me and it isn’t as sweet n juicy as ruby orchid is.
I’m not a fan of Og FB and this smells just like Og just way more intense.
It’s like a mix of OG Flowerbomb and Bombshell Passion- and layering them smells really amazing too- I actually am starting to love it 😍. There’s something addictive about it. It’s that gunpowder note. At first it’s somewhat of a strange scent but then it’s oddly addictive and smells sooooo good! I keep reapplying cuz the first initial blast is so sweet and gun powdery and is nectar like— it fades though to just being patch heavy and not as great as the beginning. And that’s where BP comes in to feed it that extra lusciousness I crave that fades from the initial blast into the dry down.

This is my New Years Eve scent :) I dont know why, maybe because it smells like fireworks to me :) Its perfect for colder weather, it projects and it stays on my skin forever. It has the Flowerbomb DNA, but here the patchouli is more toned down. It has a strong licorice note, but I dont mind that. Love it :)
babyshrimp
this was amazing, and i've been in love with it since I first tried it. So sweet and just an overall cozy, syrupy scent.
HaileyAppleKins
so yummy and syrupy I want someone to literally eat me as if I were a pancake who is like fresh and is like eat me
cpeck
I'm not sure if I'm smelling the same perfume everyone here is. I was really excited to get a strong, syrup-y sweet, unique perfume and that wasn't what I got here. My skin really throws patchouli - anything with a sharp patchouli note will be amplified on me - and this was no exception. Just a strong floral patchouli. I don't get any bergamot, no vanilla, no sweetness. Only patchouli. Not for me.
What I will say: I put this on in my car and went into a grocery store. I was inside for 20 minutes and went back out INTO THE OPEN AIR where I walked in and could smell my scent trail. When I desperately tried to get it off my arm later, I tried: dish soap, rubbing alcohol, unscented deodorant (I read this works, it did not), hand soap, bar soap, exfoliant, facial cleansing oil, shampoo, olive oil, unscented body oil, and makeup wipes. I could still smell it on my arm the next morning.
So if you like the scent profile, TRY IT and trust me, it projects and stays.

I got this for my mom a week ago while shopping for a gift and when I sprayed this on my clothes my mind was blown. It's nothing like I've ever smelt before and it smells absolutely beautiful. Even after a week I can definitely still smell it on my clothes while I'm typing this. This is a great perfume and I'd most definitely use it if I was female.

I can't believe I still haven't written a review for the first perfume I ever fell in love with. I remember exploring the perfume section at Sephora around the time it came out. I tried this on and was enamored with how different it started smelling on my skin. Almost like syrupy, smoky, sweet cotton candy. I loved the uniqueness of the gunpowder note. If memory serves me, I received Nectar as a birthday gift that year! It was the first perfume I ever owned (I mostly collected body mists beforehand).
My collection's a lot bigger now. Took her off the shelf recently to remind myself of the vibe. WOW. Goddamn, I'm in love all over again. Warm and sweet with a sexy edge. This perfume is straight up magical. You will feel smokin' hot in this (she ain't grenade shaped for nothin').
Nectar will stay with me forever. Maybe one day I will go for that 3oz! Also, one reviewer mentioned this reminds them of the Twilight bath bomb from Lush; as someone who smelled that recently, yes, I can confirm it totally does!

When I first smelled this, I instantly loved it, but it smelled so familiar and I could not put my finger on it. Then it dawned on me when I came to this page and looked through “reminds me of”…..It smells like LDBS without the awful civet note! I wanted to love LDBS but all I would ever smell was civet, and now flowerbomb nectar is the cure! This is a gorgeous, sweet, sticky, sligtly smoky, gourmand. Perfect for fall/winter
FeleciaB
If you like unique perfumes then you may like this! It is personally not for me. I have a full bottle only used maybe 3 times for sale. I still have the box it came in.
Coffeeandscents
The original flowerbomb, condensed into a super sweet, syrup and with some smokiness from the gunpowder. This is my favorite version of flowerbomb, it’s so sweet and unique.
1scentaddict
As soon as I tested this I needed to buy a bottle.
'Sexy' fragrances can tend to fall into the categories of 80s musky powerhouses or cheap sugary VS scents - neither of which are for me! Because of this, I usually wear Eau Tendre, which is undeniably pretty and feminine, but just a little too well-behaved.
This is a beautiful syrupy, fruity gourmand with depth and an edge, and it doesn't smell cheap or one dimensional. It feels like a luxurious, unapologetic expression of femininity - like Elizabeth Hurley's Versace safety-pin dress. So gorgeous.
Kaleigha
I have Flowerbomb Nectar sprayed on one arm, and Ruby Orchid on the other. So far, Nectar is the winner. It just seems smoother and less in your face than Ruby Orchid. I don't get any of the gunpowder, but on me it is sweet and fruity with a hint of floral. I really like it.
mermaidshimmer
I need to wear this more often. It's beautiful, sweet, carries a "matchstick" edginess (that's the gunpowder note) and lasts a long time for me. I prefer this to the original Flowerbomb for its sillage and scent notes.
scachomba
RachelDari
By far my favorite of the flowerbomb line. I love the original, but it can be a bit patchouli heavy (for me). Nectar is more reminiscent of Ruby Orchid, has more of a fruity scent than the notes lead on.
It's syrupy,sweet & definitely a compliment getter.
babypong
Reading the notes for this perfume are way more complex than what is actually smells like in person. In person this is the most generic thing I've ever smelled. I get a floral leather vibe from it. I can pick out the patchouli for sure. Its warm smelling. To me this would be a great people pleaser scent and a safe blind buy. I would not mind even having it if it were gifted to me, but I don't want it in my "collection" as it's not unique or interesting to me. Generally it smells good though and the notes are matching the way it smells, its just less interesting in person.
m0userella
I really like sweet, candy-like scents, stuff that's seen as slutty or cheap like Pink Sugar or Ariana Grande perfumes. This is like the mother of the scents I usually wear. It's for sure sweet and slutty, but it's also fancy. Another perfume that's slutty and fancy is Born In Roma Intense. However, BIR Intense has an upscale stripper vibe while Flowerbomb Nectar has a "retired stripper, current trophy wife" vibe. You can probably smell this on a beautiful woman at the mall wearing Louboutins, freshly manicured stiletto nails and a blowout. For a glamorous woman like that, this could easily be an everyday scent.
C_Phippy
Absolutely love this perfume! It’s a sexy sweet evening scent. At first spray it really reminded me of Azzaro wanted girl by night, which I love too! But the dry down really reminds me of a Twilight bath bomb from Lush!!! I was having a hard time linking what the scent reminded me of. Flowerbomb Nectar and Lush Twilight Bath Bomb share benzoin and tonka bean. Very cozy dry down smell. A little goes a long way! Don’t need to over spray. It’s very concentrated and I made the mistake of over spraying and giving myself a little headache, oops! Lol worth it though.
CaliMiXers
One of my absolute favorites! I love this far more than the original flower bomb. Its juicy nectar & spark from the gunpowder gets me so many compliments. The dry down had a bit of a mysterious sweet syrup like edge. Like a female night ninja 🤣 My go to for date night. My boyfriend loves it!
deaccs
Do not let the comparisons to BBW Into the Noght deceive you, this is SO much better. I also don’t think this fragrance is overly sweet as some others have mentioned, in my opinion it is perfectly balanced and mass appealing. I will say it’s not very similar to the original but regardless I think this is one of the best designer scents available right now.
OtherPeople'sChildren
Starts off with a gorgeous wet floral, sweet and lucious. Settles into a one-note syrupy sweetness. I found it unpleasant and washed it off after about four hours. I saw no similarity to the original dna.
The13thHour
Flowerbomb Nectar is my favorite out of the Flowerbomb series. The pink color is deceiving. This is a Halloween night out and there's a masked ball somewhere in the woods under a full moon. This is very much like Into The Night by Bath & Body Works but Flowerbomb Nectar is sweeter.
Nora Gad
عطر جميل جدا ومميز للغاية يشبه فلاوربومب الاول ولكن اعمق واكثر ثباتا وجمالا ،ثباته وفوحانه هايلين جدا ولا يصلح للشراء العميانى لانه مميز جدا

Reminded me of Olympea so much. And I am surprised that no one mentioned Olympea maybe it's just me. I found FN much better than Olympea but to me they are the same family maybe gunpowder which turn into metallic note in my skin and the salt note in Olympea turn into the same scent in my skin. Something salty metallic I don't know how to describe . Also I detect orange blossom same as Olympea which are mandarine in her case. All I can smell from Olympia is mandarine and salt, that is why I dislike Olympia. As for Flowerbomb Nectar I have mixed feelings. She is beautiful Romantic somehow. But Olympea salty mandarine vibes ruin it for me 😔
vnoxnoctis
hm, i think i like this but i'm still a little torn tbh. it's got this sticky root beer-eqsue opening that can be really cloying and tacky, but it's also strangely addicting. it's almost sickeningly sweet and pulls very, very fruity on me in a way that i would more so expect from a teen's body spray and every time i smell it, i think "too sweet," but then i go back for another sniff lmao. idk if it's necessarily for me, but it's got beast mode projection and longevity and it's a major compliment-getter, especially from men. if that's your thing, get this, but i think i prefer something a little more unisex.
JenAvery
Nectar is the perfect name, it’s sweet and sticky syrup. It’s sexy, sensual and warm. I think it’s a great fall/winter scent, but I spray it on at night before bed in the summer because it’s so cozy. I just purchased a full 3oz bottle from V&R because my tiny travel spray from Sephora is almost gone. This projects on me far better than a lot of the perfumes I have in my collection. I wore the OG years ago and while that one is bright, this one is much darker.
Lucid Dreamer
If you love LVEB Soleil Cristal (which I believe has been discontinued), this smells extremely similar.
Boppidy
This is GORGEOUS. I absolutely adore this perfume, from start to finish! I get a lot of orange blossom mixed with the cassis, giving a really syrupy sweet sort of smell. The initial spray is very cotton-candy-ish, and what I’m assuming is the gunpowder pops up suddenly to add a slight smokiness and metallic quality to the smell.
Shares a lot of the same DNA as the original Flowerbomb, and smells similar in the initial burst to Ruby Orchid, but this is the sexy older sister. I can definitely understand comparisons to Wanted Girl By Night and I’m very surprised that Flowerbomb Nectar doesn’t share the same rum note as it comes across heavily as it starts to dry.
Lasts forever, HEAVY on the sillage and is a very warm, syrupy hug. Absolutely grabbing a full bottle of this one after my decant is used up.
StarMagix
I do like this scent very much. It reminds me YSL Black Opium Neon. It last longer than some expensive scents. The bottle could have more style though.
perfumesniffer
I’ve been branching out lately and finding more & more mainstream designer scents to love. Thought I’d give a highly rated Flowerbomb a shot so tried this Nectar flanker. It’s GHASTLY. Smells like crayons melted in cough syrup I’m not even exaggerating.
AuraAda
I don't know what gunpowder smells like, but this smells amazing! I mostly get vanilla and amber, I'm not very good at distinguishing notes, but I really like this one, more than the original, I can say!
Tacomains
I have gotten this and loved the smell. I love sweet perfumes but I wanted one that was more mature and not so much like bath and body works. This one is perfect it’s super sweet but not sickening. I was skeptical since the brand was flowerbomb and they’re known for floral, I’m personally not a floral scent lover. But flowerbomb nectar is amazing it’s perfect and I love it. I’m not to sure if the scent lasts though. I can’t smell it on me after an hour and I’m not sure if it’s because maybe I got used to the scent of if it, or if it’s just actually gonna away. It’s pretty expensive so I was debating trying another perfume but I love this one so much and am just gonna stick with it and have it as my signature scent. Sweet, seductive, not musky or anything. Just a perfect balanced sweet scent.
brainrott
wow this is an absolutely gorgeous fragrance! it dries down this super sweet yet almost smoky cotton candy. it lasts so long and its projection is amazing i always have people complimenting me and asking what im wearing. it’s definitely a more edgy scent with the smokey gunpowder paired with the sweetness of the orange blossom, i personally much prefer this to the OG flowerbomb.
canabena
I adore this. Its syrupy sweet but the gunpowder metallic note edges things up. Its very unique while also being crowd pleasing. The projection on this is amazing it really envelops a room.To me I don't get much of the Og flowerbomb except in the immediate opening but that dissipates quickly.Very pretty very unique. If you're looking for something sweet but with some edge to stand out this is for you,if you just want something sweet and coy go for the OG Flowerbomb but it doesn't hurt to have both haha,
jabels189
Lovely scent, and definitely shares the DNA of the original Flowerbomb. Very syrupy/honey, I’m surprised that this isn’t in the notes. The orange blossom is most prominent to me, which is why I think this perfume is so similar to many others. It is a sister to JPG Scandal and Ellie Saab Girl of Now, and a cousin to Killian Love, Don’t Be Shy. Have to say I do prefer the original for now, but I’ll have to test again in the cooler weather.
nyrvelli
Smells like a bouquet a flowers. This scent is sunny and playful. I'm on my second bottle.
fairycoffins
I’ve had a little splash bottle of this forever but it always gets overlooked. Finally wearing this today and she is a stunner! I love the OG, it’s probably the perfume bottle I’ve put the biggest dent in, but I can see myself buying a full bottle of this when the other one runs out. The gunpowder note is what attracted me to this, but it’s subtle. It just adds the slightest bit of metallic smokiness. This isn’t a patchouli bomb like the OG (and I love patchouli) but I’m just smitten with this beauty. Perfect amount of fruitiness. Inoffensive, sure to be a crowd-pleaser. Feminine and lovely.
g0thl3s814n
such a beautiful and graceful scent. it radiates off my skin like a warm glow, it grabs the attention of others but in a subtle way with its strong semisweetness. i really enjoy the lifespan of its wear, even after a few hours i can still recall and others too of its presence although i do wish it held its strength for longer.it really is a decedent nectar.
santanabrowning
I used to wear this a lot until I broke out in a rash caused by one of the ingredients (I suspect the gunpowder note)... If you have sensitive skin, proceed with caution!
SashaWasha
Pampered Princess! Spoiled rotten and unapologetic! haha I love it. This is my favorite of all of the Flowerbombs. It's very sweet, but seductive. Nectar is right, because it attracts a LOT of men. Many many compliments. I consider this a year round fragrance, however it does thrive more in the fall/spring air. I also would like to note that although it's very sweet, it's not sickly sweet. I spray a lot and no headaches or nausea. That's a huge plus for me.
XOXO_marcel
I like the coldness of the gunpowder but if you're interested in this fragrance purely for that unusual note, don't bother with it. This does not smell unique, it's a typical V&R-style floral. It's musky and slightly similar to Miss Dior.
However -
if you just want to smell good, go for it. It's classic and inoffensive. Those are good qualities in my book.
A little too much patchouli for my personal taste but I can't imagine many people disliking this one. It would be safe to wear to work, to weddings, to a church, etc. Everyone needs to own a versatile and "normal" perfume like this one.
Ilovechai89
I’m not a fan of the original, but my god is this a divine fragrance it’s so syrupy and sweet but the gunpowder grounds it so it doesn’t smell adolescent. This is certainly a grown woman perfume.
Nectar is definitely a man catcher, I received so many complements from both genders but mostly men while wearing this fragrance.
The beloved Osmanthus in this adds a peach undertone. It just gives off spring and summer sexy Smokey vibes. But this fragrance is strong so don’t overspray, she has a tendency to be a little cloying if worn in super hot weather or in heavy applications. Over all she’s a delicious & very unique spring-summer addition to my collection.
Full bottle worthy 💗
olga_adriana
I’ve never been a wearer or a fan of Flowerbomb, but this is truly an exceptional fragrance.
Yes it is sweet, but totally balanced out by the gunpowder note. It’s honestly genius. It is so gorgeous. It’s hard to even describe. I don’t like overly sweet scents, and this isn’t overly sweet.
Flowerbomb nectar is mastery level. It’s addictive. I absolutely love it. It is so different and so good. I ordered a full bottle already.
hpeeters
Not my fav bomb! yes I will stick to midnight & ruby orchid as flankers In my collection. This was too sweet for me, cloying. I also detected licorice which I hate, although it’s not in the notes. So idk what I was smelling there, but others have mentioned this too. Patchouli was not blending as well as OG flowerbomb and I can’t be a critic of the dry down because my boyfriend made me change my shirt, he said I stunk. I still love this line & this house! I think this is the flowerbomb for those gourmand lovers who love the super sweeties.
MrsNicole
This is a beautiful perfume. You only need a spray or 2 for it to completely engulf you in a bubble of scent. HOWEVER you absolutely have to love syrupy, sweet scents.
I live in an extremely hot climate and because of that, it turned cloying on me and became nauseating. And once it is on, it can't be escaped from. The longevity is so good, that I found that even after a shower, you catch whiffs of it.
Which once again, if you love extremely sweet, syrupy scents, you will love this one. The gunpowder note in the opening is unique and gives it a bit of grit. It's a girly, fun scent but not a safe blind buy and I wouldn't wear it in hot weather.
toeveh
Absolutely signature scent worthy because it’s so unique. Love love love. It’s heavy, syrupy sweet but not in a juvenile way. The gunpowder makes it almost medicinal and smoky, but surprisingly that doesn’t bother me at all. Frankly I am glad they went that route, because it truly makes it stand out. It’s a more syrupy sweet version of the OG Flowerbomb, definitely a nighttime scent even though it would work well during the day as well. I saw someone describe it as an expensive explosion of cotton candy and jolly ranchers with a top layer of straight sugar, and that’s exactly how I’d say it smells too. Like candied floral candy with burnt sugar thanks to the gunpowder. Smells absolutely heavenly. It projects well, multiple people have pointed it out. Can definitely be too cloying if oversprayed since it’s a more heavy perfume.
Sweetboy05
Gunpowder??? That's a first. I don't get it, thankfully, but I love it.
Amori1111
OMGGGGG!!! This is like flowerbomb og on crack! It’s sweet, addictive, cloying and I am here for it. This is the bomb, sillage is a monster! Longevity foreverrrr! Expensive but worth it, a really full well rounded smell! Yazzzz!
Ethereal Love
This perfume is absolutely gorgeous and it last forever on clothing with beast mode projection. I did one spray on my wrist when testing this out when I bought this a few months ago, then I put on my coat a few mins later to head out. The scent from this perfume stayed on my coat for 3 days just from that one spray! It is incredibly sweet so don't wear this if you have a headache or feeling a bit sick. I do not detect gunpowder as a standalone note, but I could also tell it's there probably because I know it's part of the fragrance.
This would be perfect for date nights in pretty much any season (including summer), just as long as it's a bit cool with a nice breeze outside. If you want to wear this in the daytime then I'd limit this to fall, winter, and early-mid spring only. This is one of the few perfumes that I'd buy a backup of, and I don't buy backups often.
beatrixrussell
SWEET. Too sweet imo, bordering on juvenile. The initial notes are floral, fruity and sweet which is really nice, but it very quickly settles into a syrupy sugar perfume that lacks depth. If you like candy-sweet perfume, definitely give this a try, but if you're looking for something more mature and complex, pass it up.
sevde.kasa
Every time I spray this perfume, without any exception, I feel like i am having a candy that is sugar-coated black grape into my mouth and this sugary grape feels like it's melting in my mouth crunchy 🤤 This is the best designer fragrance for me among all those sweet sugary ones as we know🌟🌟🌟 This is the smell of a woman who always wear makeup & well-groomed ❤️
Mariapiza
If you love Flowerbomb, then Nectar is a must-have. It's perfect for gourmand lovers, and for women who want to smell rich, classy, and sexy. Nectar is a deeper, sweeter, and sexier version of Flowerbomb. The patchouli is still prominent, which is great. I don't smell any sulfurous notes, but I do smell cassis, vanilla, and patchouli. It's a stunning fragrance, but beware - it may attract bees (and men)! I recommend wearing it on a night out or in cooler months. I've been getting lots of compliments from my husband and family, and I actually prefer it over the original Flowerbomb. Along with Viva la juisy, it's currently one of my favorites.
Iristhenurse
This is the most unique scent in my personal collection. A greedy invention. A little bit of floral notes, a little bit of gourmand but also sexy smoky and a little bit medicinal. The scent is really hard to describe. Sophisticated, sexy, edgy but also super sweet. I was extremely impressed when I know that it has gunpowder note in it! My friend’s dad described the scent as grilled marshmallow during campfire. It will last an eternity. I love it !
whatthesmellisthat
Went to Sephora specifically to sample it and I was majorly disappointed. I thought it smelled like licorice. I tried it again a few months later and found I really enjoyed it. It reminded me of something from my childhood but I couldn’t quite remember what it was.
And then one afternoon it hit me. Scented markers. Or crayons. Especially the grape or blueberry ones.
It’s actually really cool.
taragsmellzbomb
I love sweet but it’s soooo sweet. I love the OG still. It’s sweet yet sophisticated.
Cocovioletta
I adore it. I wish it was even stronger. That said I'm trying it in late winter early spring. When it's sunny and hot out I know I'll have a sillage bomb. It might even be close to my top three fragrances. Might even be my favorite.
I smell a strong vanilla, star anise background. The opening is phenomenal. It smells really clean and really sweet at the same time. But it's warm....like sunshine melting the cold spring days away into summer.
It smells like the start of summer. Very floral.
I can smell the rich perfume of flowers, and the gun powder accord is in just the opening for me and it's spicy... it smells like lighting a match. Then of course you take the lit match and go light a nag champa incense stick and then the rest of the fragrance follows. Yes...it is like a peach syrup on buttery pancakes.
Also it's a rhododendron grove. And a bit of a rootbeer float. And fresh strawberries.
So yeah....eating pancakes in a flower garden in full blossom, drinking root beer, eating strawberries....so sugar sugar sugar and more sugar. With a bit of incense curling through the air. Lovely.
It's sparkling and effervescent. It's a fizzy, bubbly smell. Hehehe I just remembered " Don't Mess with the Zohan". Fizzaybooblay!
It truly is meant for summer. I like it in the winter but it's true beauty I think will be made clear when it gets warmer out.
Stinkybooty
Smells like a shopping spree at Lush. My favorite perfume of all time. My partner jokes I’m “cheating” when I wear it to work.
Xela_529
It took me a few try’s to really understand what’s going on with this fragrance. But once I got it, I GOT IT. Wheww this is nice. So rich, jammy, and decently blended for a designer fragrance. Def the best Flowerbomb. The Osmanthus & gunpowder makes me want to drool! 8/10.
Clairexoxo
The first time I sprayed it on my skin, the gunpowder read as leather car seats... very off-putting lol. I am glad to say that this is not the case anymore. Overall, I get syrupy sweet vanillic gunpowder. In the sillage, I get the white floral notes. The gunpowder makes it unique and is more so metallic than smoky but still likeable. I could see a teenage girl really enjoying this, although I find the fragrance to fit all ages. Flowerbomb nectar could work most seasons except summer / hot days. Performance is good, at least 10 hours on clothing.
I like it. It is nice, sweet, and feminine with a timid edge. But it does not move me.
Janeyre
Smells like mildly spicy Sweet Tart candy. I like the gunpowder note, it figures prominently to my nose and adds spice, warmth, and depth.
There is an anis-like scent to it that reminds me of LolitaLand and JPG Classique- I think it's that gunpowder.
It has a fruity jamminess that I enjoy, although I don't know where it's coming from!
It is smooth and well blended. I smell the orange blossom and jasmine. The vanilla gives it sweetness. The tonka combined with the benzoin gives it a yummy drydown that I can't stop sniffing!
It is not beast mode for me although I would say it does perform a bit better than average.
robyn348
Just got a sample of this and I went to buy it straight away. It’s a beautiful, sweet syrupy scent with the original floral smell underneath. It is less sweet in my skin than in the bottle and on my skin I get a slight fresh-cut grass smell too, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but I haven’t heard anyone else mention if they smell this too. The syrupy smell makes it sexy, definitely a perfume for a night out, though it’s so pretty I’ll probably wear it far more often. I’m interested to see how it is in hot, humid weather but so far I love it. I’ve only been wearing it for an hour, so I couldn’t say how long it lasts.
Edit: wore it all day and after 12 hours I could still smell it on my skin. I also noticed the gunpowder which gives it a metallic, slightly spicy smell and makes it unique
lmnsvgz
The most interesting Flowerbomb flanker. The initial spray is a bit smoky and interesting, but it turns into a very sweet (even a bit cloying) vanilla-tonka scent. I like the first part more than the drydown. The drydown has a bit of a basic designer sweetness feel.
Nadia562010
This scent is just wow! Got this as a blind buy and I am so pleased! Definitely worth the $$$
jazzscent13
This is a very syrupy vanilla fragrance with a metallic opening ( gunpowder). The opening can be off putting to some, because of the gunpowder note… but strangely that what makes this perfume unique. A little goes a long way.. so one or two sprays is enough. It’s a nice scent for going out and casual wear. But this would be inappropriate for work in my opinion. I do want to get this because the longevity and projection is amazing. I think it would be a nice fragrance for layering.
SELFCARE_INTROVERT
Listen *Read* THIS IS ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!! Sexy. Sweet. Syrupy. Vanilla. GOODNESS! It’s definitely giving Turn Off The Lights and Light a Candle! That’s Teddy Pendergrass if You need to Visualize the Mood or Let’s Get It On Marvin Gaye…I mean You should know what I’m getting at here if you’re of a certain age! I purchased it in a Travel Size I’m definitely getting a full size bottle! Amazing Designer Perfume.
Gyps
I really like this one, I have the Intense version, but there’s no review for it on here. I’m assuming though that it’s just a stronger version of FBN. It has a lovely opening and I really like the gunpowder note. Gives it a little bit of zing. I don’t find it overly sweet or overly strong. I’d wear it anytime. Very good blind buy for me that’s a bit different from the usual offerings of sameness 😍
Gabbylikesperfumelikeher
When I first smelled Nectar, I was drawn in and had to have it. That is the effect this perfume gives. Sexy syrupy sweetness with orange blossom to make it fresh and gunpowder to make it stand out. It smells like sweet vanilla floral orange with a kick. The orange fades out in the dry down and the floral is pretty light throughout on my skin. But enough that you get the feminine charm that only a good floral note can give. This has become a top 5 for me and my favorite going out perfume. Hands down. It’s noticeable and the projection?! Can hang with the best of them. I always smell it on the dresses I wear days later when doing laundry. She is that girl. A bit much for daytime unless I’m doing something and once again, want people to smell me. I don’t wear to work but on a special day I could see it. I like the original flowerbomb, she’s cute. But she doesn’t excite me like the Nectar version. A staple for a good “night out” perfume.
stephanienwc
So so sweet - but I like it! It still smells very similar to the OG Flowerbomb and also Ruby Orchid just with the sweetness dialed way up.
klioux
The first time I tried this it was omg-please-no-way-too-sweet. Now I detect the other notes more easily, and it helps keep the sweetness in check.
The sweetness is thick, sticky syrup, and a little bit berry fruity to me. The gunpowder and tonka bean add texture, a twinge of something fuzzy. Maybe it's the added greenness of cassis, but the patchouli in here is more prominent that in the original. Nectar notably outperforms the original in strength and longevity. I wish this were still a touch less sweet, but even so it's the standout of the flowerbomb offerings that I've tried.
Coffeeandscents
Sweet, warm, sexy, syrupy berries and vanilla is what I smell. I know berries are not listed in the notes but I smell raspberries mixed in with the vanilla and floral notes. This is my favorite of all of the flowerbomb flankers. 2 sprays will last all day and leave a sweet, syrupy floral trail. I’m not sure what “gunpowder” smells like but I will say it adds something interesting and a little bit spicy to the scent.
Soknim
Floral🌺 sweet gourmand
A little bright in the opening
And then the floral really come through mix with the sweetness
Also little bit spicy along the way
Good for evening or night 🌙 wear because of the warm and delicious in this perfume
Great project
Longevity 12+ on skin forever on clothes
Love love this you Don't need a lots spray cause this bitch is strong❤
Enrium
I am no Flowerbomb fan, it being too syrupy-sweet for my taste, but I have wanted to try this Nectar flanker for a long time, being intrigued by the the gunpowder note. Gunpowder aside, it is very similar to the OG Flowerbomb (albeit an intense version). While it is still much too syrupy for me, this iteration is my preference.
FN opens with citrus notes - mostly orange - with a smoky undertone thanks to the gunpowder. Syrupy vanilla emerges early on, with sweet orange blossom dominating the floral heart of this scent. I get some peach thanks to the osmanthus, and jasmine rounds out the florals nicely. It is all very sweet, with the metallic gunpowder note barely detectable after the opening.
The amber-vanilla drydown remains sweet, punctuated by a hint of patchouli and some Play-Doh-like coumarin. It fades to a vanilla skin scent, syrupy until final fade. Sillage is moderate and longevity is long-lasting.
A generic sweet floral with orange blossom and a vanilla drydown, FN is nothing unusual, except for the gunpowder note that adds a little interest at the opening. A better scent than the original, it is girlishly feminine with mass appeal. Not my thing, but not the worst. 2.5/5.

Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Nectar:
🗣Is This The Elixir In The Whole Flowerbomb Perfume Line Up? Possibly!!!
I've Always Loved, And Had A Real Soft Spot For The Original Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb Edp, And Would Definitely Class It As One Very Classy Well Done Perfume!! Then They Launched This Nectar Version (2018) With Added "GUN POWDER NOTE" Giving It A More Strange Metallic/Tinny Note, And Amping Up It's Sweetness By At Least 10x Times, Making It Somewhat Nuclear To Say The Least!! (IT'S REALLY TO SICKENING SWEET FOR ME/MY TASTE) Then In (2021) They Launched Flowerbomb Ruby Orchid In The Beautiful Ruby Red Bottle, Grabbing My Full Attention To Try It Out!! Now That One Definitely Is The More "FLORAL/FRUITY/VANILLA" In The Line Up Tbh, And Is Less Sweeter Than Both The Original And Nectar Flowerbombs (I Much Prefer That Tbh) Plus It Seem's To Smell Much Better And Nicer On My Skin Than The Nectar Version!! For As It Wear's On My Skin, I Honestly Think It Get's Nicer And Nicer!! Eventually It Settles To A More Soft Powdery Fragrance, With That Distinct Patchouli Note!! And Let's Be Honest Flowerbomb Just Would'nt Be Flowerbomb Without It!! I Think Nectar Is A Nice Enough Fragrance, It's Just Way WAY 10x Times To Sweet For My Personal Taste!! So I'll Firmly Be Sticking With The Original, And The Ruby Orchid, And Btw, Both The Original And The Ruby Orchid Layer Beautifully On Top Of Each Other Carrying You From Daytime To Nightime With Ease!! You MUST Try These Both On Your Skin Firstly, To Give Yourself A Proper Insight On How Both Smell, And Will Work With Your Own Body Chemistry!! The Ruby Orchid Was Trumps Over The Nectar For Me!!
harperpeshhe
This is very strong, thick and sweeeet. The OG is 100% there but this is just darker and heavier. Comparatively the OG is pretty princess by day but Nectar is goth queen by night. I got this in a swap a year ago but it doesn’t sit too well on my skin regardless of the season. Truth be told I prefer softer scents without the patchouli tonka mix. I asked my sons girlfriend to test it, she adored it so she is now the besotted owner of Nectar.
Dungnp
I don’t know what to expect and blind buy a vial (thank God). It was 1.5$, which is not too bad. But something is so off to me. This is the most sour perfume I ever sniffed and it gave me the worst nausea ever. And it was hella strong. I washed my hand and it improved a bit. Layering it with mon guerlain saved it a bit but a big NO for me
Princessy
As someone stated below, best description in 2 words : syrupy and metallic.
It's thicker and spicer than the OG. On a side note, the ruby orchid version is the most floral version out of the 3 Flowerbomb. The nectar flanker can be worn all year around, but works better in colder days. The projection and sillage are moderate and the longevity is pretty good (6hrs +).
It's the more bearable version of Lolitaland from Lolita Lempicka (minus the orange note), as they are very similar (80%). They both have the gunpowder/pepper note, that is still present in the dry down. Even if I love super sweet fragrance, the metallic scent is the only thing that refrains me from buying a full bottle.
Ellyloveswednesday
I have had multiple samples of this and I finally bought it! My favorite scent I've tried. Very syrupy sweet, with some spice from the gunpowder and a sensual depth(on my skin, possibly the amber?)
I actually liked it in the summer but used very sparingly. I think it smells really sexy smoldering in summer with just one or two pumps spread around on all my pulse points! I feel like a femme fatale wearing it!
In winter to me it's a very sweet enveloping scent that makes me feel elegant and a little bit special or mysterious.
I love the gunpowder note! I think that's what people mean when they say "spicy", it just gives something unexpected, prickling your senses, and to me it makes this perfume to not be overly sweet or floral but a little bit more interesting.
ViciousVirgo
I agree w @nanza completely, I too own a fsb of La vie Est Belle - specifically the E'clat version - & did a skin test of Flowebomb Nectar at both Sephora and Ulta - I loved but immediately recognized it as smelling pretty much EXACTLY identical to LVEB bc I wear it all the time. I didn’t pick up on the gunpowder? But still really liked it after sampling. Once my LVEB runs out I will DEF buy Nectar - but possibly redundant to own both? Either way, it’s still a really beautiful intense frag, especially long lasting and I def plan on buying it :) I’m a big fan of sweet florals like My Way, Paradoxe, Voce Vita, LVEB etc..
I used to love/wear Flowebomb all the time, but haven’t revisited in awhile; also tested ruby orchid and liked it but def gravitated to nectar
alyssarware
I really love this, it's very syrupy but I don't find it super sweet, I'm someone who loves extremely sweet scents though so my sweet standards are high. I don't pick up gunpowder or licorice at all, just a cozy sweet syrupy version of Flowerbomb. The best comparison I have is it reminds me of a more sophisticated Ari by Ariana Grande
Jjleeeee
The gun powder note was very strong on my skin.. wasn’t into it
Shaina87
My favorite of the FB line! A thick, syrupy sweet floral. Almost like a candied floral cotton candy. I get a slight smokiness from the gunpowder. I get the patchouli and a little fruitiness too. I just love this one.
Likilichi
Here is some information I would’ve liked to have had before I bought this dark, sultry, sweet, beautiful perfume. Both it and Azzaro Wanted Girl By Night were released in 2021 so we can’t say one is a dupe for the other but we can say that one is significantly less expensive than the other.
amanda0727
Reminds me a lot of LV Atrape Reves in the dry down. The patchouli is very heavy.
Gigi7891
The notes on this make no sense. I don’t smell FB anywhere. I smell Kilian Love dont be shy. And I hate that fragrance.
Noelly88
This is in my top 3 favorite scents. Sweet, syrupy bomb of fizzy gunpowder! I definitely smell the gunpowder highlighted in the beginning, but not in a bad way; it gives a fizzy, bright smoky quality that really highlights the cassis, orange blossom, and benzoin. Throughout the life of the scent the gunpowder adds a metallic, cold, bright quality to the sweetness, helping it to be enjoyable and fresh, rather than cloying like other sweet fragrances. To me it smells like a fresh and expensive explosion of cotton candy and jolly ranchers with a top layer of straight sugar. Sort of hard to explain - best to try it yourself rather than blind buy. They have testers at both Sephora and Ulta. To me the scent is ADDICTIVE, and longevity and projection are BEAST MODE. It lasts for days on my coats and I get compliments on my sillage when out.
So far, I’ve only worn this in autumn and winter - I can see it continuing to work in the spring, but I’m not sure about summer or humidity.
Nataliemarie
My favorite of ALL of the flankers!
Hannehoney
I really love this :) its sweet, spicy and seductive... I can smell a lot of licorice in this :) it has a smoky vibe... its so good. I would say this is Flowerbomb, but with a twist. It lasts forever on my skin :) One of my favorites :)
Mjchaelj
Way way too sweet. It feels like it’s trying too hard. I would just get the original, that one is much better honestly.
7.5/10
PuppyFever
This version is the original Flowerbomb minus the patchouli and with a hint of syrupy cassis coming from benzoin instead. It's a stunning winter or evening scent. I would say it's in the same realm as scandal.
femmefumes
This is very deliciously sweet, floral, warm, metallic, very slightly fresh. It is original and such a good Flowerbomb flanker. I love it
EugenieM
My daughter and I could not discern any gunpowder (thank God!) - just concentrated flower syrup or sugared flowers. Beautiful, festive, rich!
I bought it as a present for her, as she loves lots of flowers, tons of sugar and a huge sillage, and this fragrance totally fills the bill. She's 16, they are a match! The bottle is lovely and nice to hold.
JesScent
This smells like a bougie cotton candy fragrance on me, it smells very nice but a little too young for me. I am 39 years old but my 28 year old sister loves cotton candy fragrances so I will be purchasing this as a xmas gift for her this year (she will love it), as I’ve been searching for a good cotton candy scent since VS discontinued theirs several years ago.
Flowerbomb Nectar lasted on my wrists a good six to eight hours, and I even took a shower about three hours after applying. The scent has more of a day time feel, but I could see someone in their 20’s wearing this to snuggle up with their partner because it is rather sexy in a younger [than me] sort of way. Overall I liked it but the OG Flowerbomb is still my fav, with Flowerbomb Midnight coming in 2nd. I liked Flowerbomb Dew for a lighter, daytime summer scent but it did not last very long on me.
Ajk161
This one blows me away. This is original Flowerbomb x 10 with gunpowder for a beautiful deep smokey feeling. TBH, I have never smelled gunpowder to my knowledge, but I imagine this is what it smells like when mixed with flowers and some sugar on top. I cannot stop smelling it. This is in the top of my prefume collection immediately. I can see it not being for everyone, but it's intoxicating to me.
collinmeek
Syrupy and metallic.
This fragrance walks the line between intriguing and crowd-pleasing so effectively. It's absolutely perfect. This was my scent for prom. I remember this was one of the first more heavy fragrances I had in my possession when getting into perfume, and something about it years ago reminded me of grapes? It's crazy what our mind likens things to when we aren't really familiar with perfumes. Funnily enough, I still think of syrupy grapes when I wear this fragrance even though there's not a single berry note. The gunpowder note is absolutely the cherry on top, though. I don't think I'll ever own a full bottle beyond my travel spray from high school because it's a little too intense for me to grab for everyday wear, but this perfume so special to me!
Adjr1087
My favorite from the whole Flowerbomb line. I was already a fan of the original Flowerbomb when I discovered this one, and immediately knew this was going to be my favorite ever. it smells very similar to the original but 10x sweeter and very very syrupy with a slightly smokey note, which may be the gunpowder note. Sexy and cozy, I love wearing this perfume in extreme cold weather. So lovely!
Heavenly Heather
At first I wasn’t sure about this. The gunpowder in the beginning really threw me for a loop and I didn’t think it belonged in the fragrance but throughout the day it transformed into such a beautiful scent. It’s sweet, floral, a bit spicy and almost syrupy. I get some of the OG Flowerbomb but this is way more unique and I now love that gunpowder note on initial spray.
Lunaria820
Sampled this on the skin today and i didn't get the gunpowder accord as a top note. At first i get the flowerbomb DNA and then maybe 30min in i got the gunpowder note. I do like smoky scents but this was very realistic to gunpowder and my first impression is... i don't really like it. I won't be buying a bottle, or even a travel size... I want to sample flowerbomb dew on the skin next, it smelled pretty good on the test strip (and not much original flowerbomb DNA)
Perfumerzlove
Love the Gun powder note in this, very unique…it adds that power to this fragrance. I like this one the best out of the Viktor & Rolf perfumes, especially from the Flowerbomb line. So worth it & it has amazing longevity. :) <3
giovannastrek
most beautiful floral imo. i hate florals so much but this is very nice! decent depth and dries down similar to spray, except a bit more sweet and delicate.
Neckromancer
This reminds me a lot of the drydown of L' Interdit, but without the bubblegum/cherry tuberose elements. There's a lot of dry patchouli, more than in the original Flowerbomb. This is also more white floral than Flowerbomb. I prefer the original.
MarisaM666
Got a bottle from 02-2022. The scent is light!!! I can spray like 8-9 times but the scent is sweet & airy... Has it been reformulated already?! 😱
RobynCrabtree
I tested this scent before looking at the notes and I am completely thrown off! Lol I don't care for cassis, and never would have expected it to be part of this beauty. As you may expect, this scent is SWEET, but it's smooth and rounded enough that it doesn't give me a headache. I could see where it may be cloying in the summertime, but that's exactly the season this scent reminds me of: picking honeysuckle with my younger sister and refilling the hummingbird feeder with my mom. It's extremely warm, comforting, and has great performance.
Carolinemushroom
I smell licorice, blackberry, and cotton candy. It's very medicinal, like cough syrup. I want to love it but it just makes me feel a bit sick after a while, it's got great longevity though. Mugler alien fans would probably like this.
bimbosummit
Opens with a cold metallic note and then becomes a syrupy root beer licorice medicinal cotton candy with sweet vanilla dry down. Smells wayyy different than I was expecting based on the notes listed, one of my favorite perfumes currently
VictoriaSmells
Reading the notes had me a bit worried. Pissy cassis + sulfury gunpowder + fermenty orange blossom and heady jasmine... combined with peppery osmanthus and vanilla and tonka bean; WHAT??? It sounds like a hot mess express on paper...
I realized this is voted as more of an autumn weather fragrance. I sampled on a cool summer morning (63 F) with the tiniest drop, using the tiniest wand applicator from MicroPerfumes. Of course the experience could be different with a proper atomizer spray and heavier application.
The opening 10 seconds was off-putting. I smelled that awful ethyl maltol-cough syrup-licorice note that I can't stand- think Angel or La Vie Est Belle. But thankfully, it did not last.
To my nose, this developed into predominately vanilla, a bit aromatic and very slightly gourmand fragrance.
It's heavier and cooler than OG Flowerbomb- It's not as bright, citrusy or rosy as Flowerbomb.
And while I've only sampled Ruby Orchid once, I remember it being way more fruity.
I don't think Nectar is similar to either one.
Flowerbomb Nectar almost reminds me of Replica Coffee Break- not in the notes themselves, but in the arrangement of the main accords; It's sweet, floral, a bit 'cool spicy' and aromatic. There is somehow a powdery, almost 'fluffy' feeling to it on top. And a creamy or nutty note all the way at the bottom.
The drydown is also reminding me of Nest Golden Nectar.
This might actually be a new favorite for me. I feel like it's a unique, cool-weather gourmand that has a little bit of 'je ne sais quoi' to separate it from the other patchouli-gourmands.
As I said, I only applied the tiniest little drop, so I can't speak to the sillage or the longevity. But if it has any OG Flowerbomb DNA, it is sure to be one of my longest lasting fragrances.
mfinley430
I can not stand this perfume on myself or anyone else. I’m just now starting to get into fragrances. This was the first one I bought to try, I was looking for a strong floral and since this is literally called Flower Bomb I figured it would be a good start. Received it and knew from one whiff it was the epitome of what I was not looking for. This smells like straight up cough syrup + rotten berries and is so strong I could barely wash it off. I need to figure out what that overwhelming note is so I can avoid it. Benzoin? Patchouli?
nanza
I own Nectar. I also have La Vie est BelleL'eclat. As soon as I got the latter, I realized I own something very similar already, it was Flowerbomb nectar. Only difference is the slight smokiness of Nectar. I mean slight because I barely smell it. They have some very similar notes, Both have Bergamot in the top notes, Orange Flower & Jasmine Sambac in the Middle. Vanilla & Patcholli as base notes. But Flowerbomb nectar lasts alot longer. I wll spray it and will still smell on the next morning. L'eclat? Meh, a few hours and its nonexisistant. I tried to add it in the "reminds me of", but the database won't add it. If you have tried both, lmk what you think.
juliausa
This is intoxicating, sweet, beautiful perfection. I said it - perfection.
I loved Original FB for years ( from the year it was released), I have/had ALL the flankers (beside Rose Explosion … I have missed that one, and now it is stupidly expensive)
Nectar is “true to original” …but BETTER.
You absolutely HAVE to love SWEET fragrances to enjoy FB Nectar. The negative reviews you see is from people who did not understand they were buying more intense version of original FB. If you LOVE Original FB - give this one a try.
It is divine.
rainydays
Tried this solely to see what the gunpowder note was all about. And it was GOOD. I anticipated metallic but instead got a strong, cold mineral note. The rest was sweet but in a more syrupy, less floral than the original flowerbomb. Strong and unique, definitely not suitable for all tastes.

Probably the most surprising blind-buy fail I've ever had. I love warm, vanillic fragrances, I love sweet fragrances, and I really enjoy the original flowerbomb. What could go wrong?
And yet, when I spray this all I get is a berry cotton-candy sugar scent. I can just picture putting my nose into a big portion of blue cotton candy, like maybe blue-raspberry flavoured, something like that. I was hoping for smokey, rich vanilla but I'm not getting it.
marcela_turta
This is horrible! It's very syrupy and fruity, I don't like it. It smells really weird in the opening. I totally recommend to test it before purchasing it.
sweetlikecandie
Oh flowerbomb nectar, this is a much more complex scent than its original older sister flowerbomb. I blind bought this and I have many mixed emotions. It doesn’t smell bad, but for me I really pick up on the cassis, gunpowder and bezoin that has a strong syrupy undertone. Not my favourite. To me it smells like the original if you dump loads of syrup into it and add metal and pungent green floral accords (the cassis and patchouli,) it loses its innocent, lightly sweet airy floral vibe the original has done so amazingly. The gunpowder is really off putting to my nose, imo this will be hit or miss. In saying that this is by far my most complimented fragrance in my 85+ bottle collection. Every single time I wear it I get compliments, it projects incredibly and leaves a gorgeous trail that I’ve literally had people follow me at work and ask me what I’m wearing.

I've been putting off trying this perfume for some time; I bought the travel size of this perfume last spring at Sephora and, unfortunately, the nozzle was broken and most of it leaked in the box! Considering the small amount left (approx. 1/4 of the tube), I've been nervous to try it in fears of liking it and not being able to pick up considering how expensive it is. Finally, I wore it this past week and, not to my surprise, I fell in love! The smoky intro really surprised me: I was nervous I wouldn't like it, but it's so unique and really sets the tone for a sweet-yet-seductive fragrance experience. The floral heart of this perfume is very true to the "FlowerBomb" DNA, and smells very close to the original fragrance, in my opinion. The longevity and sillage of this perfume are also very nice: it lasted the whole day on me, and I got so many compliments on it! If only this wasn't so pricey, I would 100% invest in the full size! I highly recommend sampling this fragrance if you get the chance and love unique fragrances!
Rehderja
This is very sweet. Like someone said below, it’s very syrupy with an amber undertone. Can you describe a fragrance as.. heavy but not meaning highly fragrant? Sort of medicinal.
AtelierLicorice
This scent makes me feel like I’m drowning in thick, sticky, fruit-flavored syrup. I can’t even tolerate it long enough to enjoy the unusual and slightly metallic gunpowder note because it is SO sweet. I generally enjoy sweet scents (Pink Sugar included) and actually love orange blossom, but this is chemical warfare.
Unfortunately, that also extends to longevity—this would not go away no matter how much I scrubbed at it (with oil AND dish soap) and there was still a discernible trace 12 hours later.
ScentBliss555
This is enjoyable in the winter/frigid temperature. Wearing it now during the warm weather amplifies the gun powder and disturbs the fragrance. It sits sticky and gritty on my skin and it reminds me of the same discord I felt wearing the original Flowerbomb when it first came out, sickly sweet and medicinal.
How it wears now is not what I remember it smelling like in the winter and spring. I will tuck away for now because right now it's 100% the original Flowerbomb and not me.
Jasmine Joy
It is too sweet for me. Also has a note that I don't really like. To me, the original Flowerbomb is better but my most favorite perfume is Ruby Orchid. To my nose, nothing beats it.
Mayapolay
Very sweet floral, the gunpowder makes it so unique and it is my favorite in my collection. Dries down more vanilla and lasts hours on my skin, and lingers to the next day.
Faellen
This is everything I was expecting from the original and didn't get. A flower BOMB that delivers!
The initial gunpowder note is fleeting and definitely appropriate to this perfume's name!
Syrupy sweet floral, waaaay richer and more potent that the original, and less green than Ruby Orchid. Much longer lasting too. A better fragrance all round. If you like sweet scents you'll like this, it'll make your teeth ache! So far this is the only offering from V&R that hasn't disappointed me.
eau de dosa
It’s beautiful! It’s a stronger version of the Ruby Orchid flanker. I prefer this one.
aldinatic
Its beautiful for a summer night out..so sparkling like stars in the sky. It projects realy wide and everyone around you will enjoy youre scent. Its relaxing and something different.
Mtotheelly
I once smelled this and remembered it as sweet but forgettable. Many years later I decided to buy it. This went back to Ulta pretty quickly. I really wanted to love it. The OG is wonderful and the notes here are enticing, but it just doesn't work to me. It's cotton candy body spray from the 90's. Body Fantasy if I remember right made it. They did it better for pennies. The metalic note in this makes the syrupy sweetness smell even more cloying, sticky and baked in a way. Like sticky candy coated hands in the sun. There's nothing airy or fresh here. I wouldn't say dirty, but boardering on that. Like a kid playing in cotton candy that needs a bath. It's way overpriced and that alone irritates me. I don't mind paying for something if it's worth it. This is not. If you are going to wear it though, I would definitely recommend wearing it in the colder fall or winter months. It will take the edge off the overly syrupy scent. I don't think the heat will be kind with this scent. The orange blossom is there to brighten and lift the scent but it isn't working. Try before you buy and really wear it through to the dry down.
Larisaaaaaa
The top notes are very sweet and delicious and what made me purchase this perfume. But the dry down is sooo gross. It literally smells like metal which I think is a purposeful note that is so disgusting. My sister bought this for herself too and I told her that its just BAD and old-ladyish.
Cloud_9
This was a pass for me. Immediately from smelling it you get that metallic sweetness but within five minutes it became a skin scent. Eventually instead of a sweet vanilla I was hoping for this had a high end luxury soap smell on me. Dunno, maybe it’s just my skin but the note ranking seems deceiving on me.
poolsoflaughter
I’m always on the lookout for a fragrance that isn’t too sweet, but is still in the realm of warm, spicy gourmand. This is surprisingly soft and warm on my skin, long- lasting & not sickeningly sweet. I cannot stop sniffing my wrist! This is a playful, yet sophisticated scent that my husband actually loves (he’s super picky).
Clairerose00
This smells very much like licorice on me! Smelled like ysl black opium at first sniff until the intense licorice. It has a sharpness to it which I am guessing Is the gun powder. This is a very strong willed perfume, has some sweetness but mostly bite. Id say not for me personally. I feel like the reviews and comments are all over the place, it’s like a scent that must be very body chemistry depending.
To me this is quite unisex. Something I am also noticing on the dry down is a sort of synthetic scent. I feel like it has a bit of a dirt note (likely the gunpowder again). It’s aromatic for sure, herbal. That’s the best I can describe it. It’s a bit shocking and avant garde to be honest. Not what I was expecting from a flanker of a very popular perfume.
KatyJane87
I love this! By far my favorite FB flanker. I like it way more than the original. Nectar is the perfect name for this fragrance…syrupy, luscious, and absolutely addictive. The gunpowder note gives it a mysterious and dark edge that separates this from most other sweet designer fragrances. I should’ve bought the bigger size because I’m going through it quickly. Love!
seannahuffman
I love this flanker! It seems most people don't like this one, and im glad that means I'll be wearing something most people won't be wearing! I love the gunpowder note! Its addictive and realistic and gives a twist to the sweetness
Neonbullets86
The top notes are what got me initially but the dry down left smelling like rancid florals ugh absolutely putrid on my skin 🤢
Honestly this smells like Black Opium for teens lol basically a less heavy version but still very similar either way it’s gross and I returned it.
Toasted Marshmallow
I loved OG Flowerbomb and thought I'd give this one a try. I didn't expect to like it. I thought the gunpowder notes would be too harsh. I was not prepared for my first whiff.
You know that scene in Finding Nemo when Bruce smells Dory's blood? How he takes a whiff, his eyes dilate, he takes a deep breath to fill every nook of his soul with that smell, and no one can hold him back once he's on that scent? I was Bruce. I remain Bruce.
I love this perfume. It's strong. It lasts on your skin for hours and even longer on your clothes. It radiates and isn't particularly subtle, but I think it's intoxicating. It's sweet and spicy, warm with a bit of an edge. It's mildly smoky, but I actually love it for that reason (especially when I'm in an area with slightly smoky air quality). It's its own monster from OG Flowerbomb, but it still has that robust feminine sort of quality. Maybe not a great blind buy, but it's a fragrance worth trying if you do like Flowerbomb.
bilgesuluk
Too sweet and not floral even though it is ‘flowerbomb’. Definetely not for summer, better to have it on in fall/winter at nights. Disappointed..
TheSweaterGirl
Not as sweet as I expected based on all the reviews I’ve read! Honestly, I’m not sure what I expected from this. A blind buy fail for me, a long time wearer of the OG Dior Addict.
To me, this smells like the incense I’ve burned for 20 years(called Jakarta Musk). In the opening, I smell incense mixed with a soft marshmallowy orange blossom sweetness. Kind of like Kilian Love Don’t Be Shy mixed with incense😅. It dries down to a soft, cool incense with maybe a hint of vanilla.
Longevity and sillage are moderate to me. I find it wears close, even with 3 sprays. Which seems bonkers to me, as I never wore more than 1 spray of Addict and it projected at least for 12 hrs.
I don’t find this fruity, nor overly sweet. It is really mostly just incense to me. In fact the first time I tried it, my husband thought I was burning incense when he came downstairs.
Not a safe blind but for most I imagine. Not at all what I was expecting, which was a super sweet indulgence with mega projection. I’ll keep trying it on occasion, as i think it is okay, and I’d rather not waste it. Yet it pales in comparison to my loves, Dior Addict and Hypnotic Poison, and YSL Libre Intense.
erika.isme.98
Crazy rich and not in a good way. This is fine, nowhere near as good as the OG Flowerbomb.
mrshnchnkm
I don't know why but it smells like licorice to me even though licorice isn't even in the pyramid??? It smells like a mixture of licorice and apricot jam. Kinda weird.
tessture
I don't get any of the subtleties others are reporting. On me, this is a super facefull of 100% genuine pink cotton candy. Sticky sugar cotton candy, and nothing else. Disappointed.
LalaShelton
This fragrance was such a pleasant surprise to my nose. When I first sprayed it I got the tart candy scent. It smelled more like Sweet Tarts to me rather than licorice or cotton candy. Then it moved into a warm amber fragrance closely followed by the patchouli. Upon dry down the florals came into play.
This scent reminds me of my days of dance, specifically recital days. Maybe I had a teacher who smelled similar. It is class and sophistication in a bottle.
Edit: I do get the cotton candy scent but not right away. It comes hours after application.

Oh my, what have I gotten myself into?
This is like an alto floral explosion beginning with a cotton candy carmelized dry down.
-------
Rarely, if EVER - have I had a perfume that starts with this type of photorealistic floral explosion.
Yes, I smell Cotton Candy in the base of this chord -
The first minutes after the spray - this is doing a similar "stuffy" type thing that happened when I first smelled Ivanka Trump's signature perfume, which smells more like pink lemonade. (Burberry's The Beat also has this same "stuffy" quality). This stuffy quality may be what they are referring to gun metal.
The first 20 minutes of wear - this is more like crystalized candy coming RIGHT AT YOU!
If you can make it through the first spray and the first hour of wear, the dry down is actually surprisingly nice.
------------
The first 30 minutes of this is almost obnoxiously ridiculous. More than the "life of the party" this is almost "over kill".
The final dry down is very sweet and almost resembles a carmelized cotton candy note with the chord. This part is beautiful! (If you are seeking another cotton candy perfume - I recommend trying Gale Hayman's Delicious Cotton Candy perfume).
This is completely different than the original Flowerbomb perfume.
This is a different spectrum, all together.
If you have worn Flowerbomb (the original) - just treat this as if this is a completely different perfume line. I don't see a lot of resemblance from the original to this version. This is completely different.
Chavezb3
Sweet, syrupy, apricot scent. So beautiful and unique. It is dense and delicious. The name suits it perfectly. I imagine the nectar of a flower smelling like this, also the texture of nectar is very much the texture that the scent has and yes, smells have texture, fragrance lovers know what I mean. I also do pick up the gunpowder note but it’s discreet and just makes the perfume more complex and unique.
Vicky456
This is a juicy sweet with a hint of freshness in the background. Very beautiful and would be wonderful in the warmer months.
cumhrán
I don't know if it's just me but all I can smell from this is gunpowder on me, well what I imagine gunpowder to smell like. I've only worn this for the first time today so maybe I need more time with the scent. It's an interesting different scent. I do love og flowerbomb (one of my favorite scents), and have to say the original would smell more appealing/attractive to me (so far)
AnaVo
Absolutely beautiful, loud, feminine, brazen fragrance. This one is not scared of making its presence known. It's the kind of parfume the life of the party would wear. She's a lady, she's fun, she's unpretentious, so many like her, but not everyone can handle her, and more than one judge her daring nature, but mostly out of jealousy. Sometimes she gets annoying, sometimes she's too much, but she is not scared of offending anyone and she is genuine, she keeps on smiling and being herself. Saccharine? Sure. Artificial? Sure. Loud and bombastic? Sure. But who cares? This fragrance is absolutely delicious, the lively pink of its juice is a good indicator of its candy-like nature. It's sweet to the maximum and beyond, you have to be ready for that. But that gunpowder note balances out the sweetness, and it makes it more interesting, it makes it more than just a good gourmand. Such a genius, unique idea. So far I have only worn this in the cold weather, and it has done an amazing job at making me feel cozy and warm, and feminine despite the think layers of clothes and clunky winter gear. This thing LASTS. You are really getting your money's worth with Nectar. I have now been smelling it for at least three weeks, more like a month probably, on my winter coat. Every time I pass by my closet, I can smell it almost a meter away. And yet I barely wore three sprays on that day...
All in all, it's a beautiful, interesting fragrance if you are into the sweetness, the loudness, the unpretentiousness, the simplicity of not giving a damn about what others might think of you. When I think of it, I think of a nice fluffy flower-creamed pastry with a rich, buttery, lavender custard inside. I think of a day shared with my boyfriend, having the delicious pastry, and simply enjoying life. I think of a day out in the crispy winter sun, skating in the frosty air and sharing a laugh with someone I love. When I think of this fragrance, I think of love and that cozy feeling you get when you hug someone who truly loves you. It's a time of warmth and genuine happiness.
Jclee34
I don’t know why people don’t speak to much about Flowerbomb Nector. This last forever and a day on your skin and on your clothes… forget about it!!! 🤣 Great juice
rkaye8
I find this saccharine and artificial in the same way as Gucci Rush, another one of my great loves. They are not similar though. It lasts on my perfume eating skin. It’s intense cotton candy and /or fruity marshmallow. I guess I can smell the jasmine? But I would classify this much more gourmand than floral. I own and never touch a large bottle of LVEB. This is NOT that. The gunpowder is there but as a top note mostly. This is pretty linear for me. The sum is definitely greater than its parts. This may be my first review but I was compelled to try to convey how unusual this scent is to me. I am a perfume fiend and feel like this bottle may actually stop my constant sampling and online shopping for awhile. I can finally say “can’t stop sniffing myself,” like I’ve read so many times here. Going to look up the nose for this one and send thanks and praise.
lulami
My very first perfume from Viktor&Rolf, the house that have given birth to the famous Flowerbomb, which I have never smelled but always heard talking about with great enthousiasm.
So, out of blue I decided to have a look at Sephora's if they had my beloved Valentino Donna (the prereformulated version and they didn't of course) but instead found this waiting on the shelf, 50% discounted, the 90 ml bottle. I smell it on the paper strip and I like it immediately, it smells like gourmand but not in the style of LVEB or Black Opium. It has some note that is harsher which I cannot detect. Anyway, the paper strip that lays inside the pocket of my jacket sends whiffs during all day up to my nostrils and I cannot resist it. I turn back the next day and spray it on my wrist, now I detect very clearly the opening note, yes the gunpowder, which lies around only for the first minutes and then leaves the spot to something that is sweet, warm but spicy and utterly sexy, something you would wear for a night date.
I was conquered by the perfume, the format and the price, but honestly I wouldn't have bought it full price (150 euros are way too much for me), also because it lasts long on my skin which is a plus, but it tends to sit close to it. I'm glad to have it in my collection and I know I will use it because I love it. And the bottle is just exquisite, heavy and well made, it looks really expensive with the dark pink liquid inside.
mariakok
This has to be one of the most unique fragrances I’ve tried. I was scared of the gunpowder and metallic note mentioned in reviews but what I get is a sweet boozy vanilla, with some sugar, liquorice. I also get the syrupy smell, but those cough syrups you loved as a kid and couldn’t wait to fall sick so that you can have some! It’s weird but also crowd pleasing, like walking into a candy store
Update: this is beast performing! I wore it on a night out, went to different places, slept, woke up and it was still there on my hair and skin and clothes smelling like the first spray!
hola gigi
Warm & spicy opening. Performs well in cold weather. First spray is reminiscent of licorice but it sweetens up over time & dries down to a fluffy sweet vanilla scent. More complex than Flowerbomb. They aren't very similar to me.. I've grown to like this one better!
poppyetpear
I try to stay away from floral fragrances because I just don't like them at all. I prefer super sweet scents and YO! FB Nectar smells like berries and cotton candy for grownups! I don't know about gun powder, all I smell is over the top, delicious sweetness. Patchouli is very mild on the dry down, which I appreciate because I can't stand it when it's too strong in my perfumes. I love patch on it's own, but it often over powers all the notes in certain perfumes for me.
Anyway, I just got a sample in the mail and loved it so much that I went ahead and ordered a full bottle🙃
pinkpepperspray
This was my first love. I definitely like overly sweet scents but something about this smells so unique and intoxicating
Tekiya08
Loving this flanker. The original is a patchouli bomb and if you didn’t love that you may enjoy this more. This smells like a raspberry creme saver upon dry down. It lasts a decent amount of time but sits closer to the skin after the first hour or two of applying.
MaxieF
I dont get licorice at all. This is literally salty caramel with some fruits. It surprises me there's no salt listed. It lasts forever and in the dry down the gun powder calms down and it's just so so beautiful. Projects like a BEAST. Love it . Might be cloying in the summer but might not cause it kind of salty.
Framilli
Wine, lean and a hint of herbal tea it smells like for me. Absoltely love it however its too. Sometimes i get naeseated. 10/10 tho
spiceysauce5
First Impression: Opening is awesome, syrupy (but less offensive somehow despite being sweeter) flowerbomb with gunpowder, but dry down turns more like licorice. I think that’s from the combo of gunpowder and the patchouli from the OG. Definitely a good smell but not sure how I feel about that licorice. The warm syrup is awesome, like a non-gourmand maple syrup almost.
I think omission of the tea note from the OG detracts from the airiness a bit, though I know this is more of a winter version so they wanted heavy and syrupy. Maybe unfair to fault it for that, but I prefer it in the OG
8.5/10 opening
6.5/10 drydown
Hammyt100
I blind bought this knowing I would hate it. I've never like the OG flowerbomb no matter how much I tried. I know it's not in the notes, but both of these perfumes smell like berries or blackcurrant to me. I've never liked berries or blackcurrant.
This perfume... Surprised me. What I thought would be my most disliked fragrance in my order, turned out to be my favorite one. There's something about it you know? It's super sexy to me. Turns out I like a GOOD berry. Or not at all because there's none in here lol. I'm sure it's the patchouli I'm smelling.
I've always avoided this type of perfume, but this flanker has opened my eyes to a whole new world.
russianprincess98
It smells SO good, but on my skin doesn't last nor smells very nice... On paper, my clothes and on my boyfriend smells amazing though. But not on me. Really sad bc I reeeeally like this scent.
ag333
just stunning. I wore this when I worked at Sephora when it came out but never bought the bottle. my bf surprised me with the bottle today and it was an instant love again. very sweet with a hit of citrus to me. I faintly smell the gunpowder in the top. The flowerbomb dna is there but it’s different. Reminiscent but not the same. The drydown is very sweet and syrupy vanilla. This is by far the best of the FB lineup (I haven’t smelled the brand new ruby orchid yet). I usually don’t like florals but this one is warmer, slightly spicy and more mature than og FB. I can see myself wearing this for years to come. to me it’s all seasons appropriate and signature scent worthy of your into that. for reference my ultimate fav scent is Kilian princess, so I like something sweet with a hit of something spicy/unique. This is more syrupy sweet than powdery sweet from the vanilla, and the spice is subtle from the patchouli but that gunpowder really does something special in here. Full bottle worthy for me as I will wear this for all seasons day or night. my bf hates strong scents and he calls this one strong so for me I can’t overspray this one. It’s also VERY long lasting especially on clothes. I would even say a full bottle of this one is capable of beast mode.
Perfumedsecrets
She’s a smoking gun, only sweet. I like this more than the original. One of my forgotten samples, but I’m getting a bottle. This is a more intense fragrance. With a name like nectar, you’d think it would be juicy fruit or lush honeyed florals. It’s a bomb of another kind. On my skin the gunpowder combination with white florals and tonka bean are amazing.
Wiktoriaaaz
It’s syrupy and sweet, it’s got an addicting fruity quality to it. I wouldn’t say vanilla is most detectable here actually, but it definitely plays a role in the overall composition. Weirdly enough, I smell the gun powder? It has a stinging feeling in my nose when I smell it close up. Makes me sneeze weirdly enough. But it’s amazing, it’s a mature sweet scent, and the way it’s projecting with my body heat right now.. wow.
I only have a 10ml from a scent subscription and I think that’ll be enough though. Isn’t full bottle worthy for me imo as it’s quite a generic sweet scent and I realised I don’t reach for them. But I’m sure I’ll occasionally enjoy my 10ml :)
katrom
I smelled this and the OG for the first time next to each other and the fruit lover in me preferred this just slightly. Truly I did enjoy both, but if I had to pick ya know? All in all I really do like the scent, even the metallic quality of the gunpowder and love the fact that its so long lasting. Despite all that it is extremely cloying and gives me a stomach ache every time I wear it. I feel so conflicted because I like the scent but the heady overpowering nature of it truly does bomb my stomach. So I'll continue to spray it into the air and walk into it because that's about all I can manage before the nausea kicks in and lament that I'll never be able to love it.

THIS IS CURRENTLY A MUST HAVE
IN MY COLLECTION.
I genuinely love everything about this.
I love the sweetness.
I love the liquorice/gunpowder opening that slowly calms down through the wear
I love orange blossom + vanilla + benzoin scent that it projects
I love the longevity and sillage.
I love the bottle and juice colour.
I love how familiar yet unique it smells.
The beginning is ever so slightly punchy … but the overall sweetness is soooo smooth not piercing at all.
9.5/10 for me tbh.
lmnsvgz
Quite sweet but the gunpowder makes it a tad different from other sweet fragrances.
qwerty988
Flowerbomb + black licorice.
Lasts a bit longer than the OG Flowerbomb, but not by much.
caraxo
I feel like this perfume is some best-kept secret. Deliciously sweet with that gunpowder edge, this perfume reminds me of a beautiful woman dressed in all-leather riding a black motorcycle. She's bold, sexy, confident–you can't look take your eyes (well, nose) off of her.
One of the most complimented perfumes in my collection. It gives you an inviting, warm spun-sugar fragrance bubble with a seductive undercurrent; What's better than that? It's such an easy reach in cold weather. It's quite strong though, so if you're sensitive to powerful gourmands I would definitely recommend you try it before you buy it.
Carolinemushroom
I was surprised to read that blackberry isn’t one of the notes with this one. I think that the strongest note here is licorice and vanilla, which I really like but my boyfriend says smells like cough syrup. I also get absolutely no hint of gunpowder anywhere. But it is definitely a unique, juicy scent. The Old Spice oasis scent deodorant smells similar and is good to pair with this perfume!
amanda118
At initial spray, I got straight medicinal. I let it set for some moments to realize it smelled like black liquorice which does not appeal to me at all. This was a blind buy and its safe to say I'm really disappointed. After letting it dry down some more, it started to smell a little less medicinal and something unfamiliar is popping out, assuming the gunpowder everyone is talking about (I dont know what gun powder smells like) but it doesnt make it better to me. I for some reason thought this was going to be super sweet and its not, i can surely see how its unisex. I like the original FB but FB is definitely not one of my favourite fragrances so Nectar isnt really giving me anything.
Edit: turns out my mom loves this perfume. Her opinions almost rubbed off on me but I still dont love it, its a nice fragrance though. I should mention again that the performance and sillage is terrible on this and not worth the expensive price tag as this leans on the pricier side of most typical designer brands. They should have improved that so much with this flanker.
Deutsch100
VERY unisex, as long as you like a sweet scent (which I do). The florals are so toned down, so muted..this works great for us guys too. I personally do not smell the gunpowder as a stand alone note, but I am sure this is what makes this scent so amazing. OG Flowerbomb is lovely, but very "feminine" and my Mom has worn it for years....so I cannot smell it and not think of her right away. This Nectar is next level good. The vanilla and patchouli are so smooth, and very long lasting. 2 sprays of this, and I get 8+ hours of wear...and my skin eats scents!
Cherry_Darling
This one definitely brings back memories. I wore this for several years during a very trialling period in my life - amazing how a scent can conjure up an era of your past in the most vivid way. That said, this was very much the beginning of my perfume journey, or rather, before I started looking into notes and niches in a significant way - and therefore now, to me it feels quite a basic unrefined scent - in the best possible way! Crowd pleasing, something anyone of most age brackets can pick up and enjoy. Sweet, enveloping, slightly tart, and this one even has a punchy smoky aspect but definitely still crowd pleaser department store category. It's quite intensely sweet to me - the name nectar is fitting. Not one I would wear today but definitely nice to have a mini time travelling machine in my small vial!
mangooo
Wow. So I've never tried the original FB but I have tried a sample of the FB Midnight which gave me a headache and ever since I blacklisted FB in my head. But the I heard about FB nectar and I was so intrigued and had to try it! I'm so glad I did!
The opening is like a slap in the face (but in a good way LOL), you get the kick of gunpowder mixed with citrus and florals. I definitely do a double take every time I spray this! Then it mellows down to this inoffensive and GORGEOUS warm and sweet yet smoky scent. The smokiness really makes this scent stand out to me compared to other sweet florals scents. Hours into wearing this I definitely can start smelling the Metallic gunpowder note more. If you don't like this note you can reapply and the fruity florals will cove for up. This one doesn't give me a headache at all compared to the Midnight version.
This is a perfect year round scent - the smokiness and warmth makes it great for cold months and the sweetness works well for warmer months. I absolutely love this one! The sillage is great, I catch whiff of this every now and then.
Joshhiggins32
This has to be my most favorite recent finds! I was checking out the lineup beyond flowerbomb and this is the star of the show, although I love flower bomb as well! This is a beast, you will smell it days after on clothes and it lasts easily 14 hours the day I wore it and projection is no joke. I got countless compliments and I find it very unisex as long as you like sweets. This is a syrupy sweet spicy dream. There isn’t one note I would say stands out but they all blend so well together! This will be one of the best finds so far beside good girl legere and Valentino Donna born in Roma, this stands right with those in quality but the scents are totally different. Anyways go smell I wouldn’t say to buy it unless the notes call to you! I couldn’t see anyone hating this.
elysian
I’m in love! The metallic note is a bit sharp for me but minutes later it transforms into this beautiful sweet thick smoky scent that stays on the entire day. And it’s not too girly sweet, the base notes ground it making it more feminine. Perfect for fall & winter, I spray it on all my scarves.
andrianna.fragrance
THIS IS ORIENTAL FRAGRANCES TO A WHOLEEE NEW LEVEL!! Alluring, sexy yet femine. I thought this was gonna be a basic oriental with gun powder but this is soooooo beautifully blended there's not many oriental fragrances that smell this addicting as this!!
The sweetness is dewy as in the inner nectar of real flowers, she isn't cloying or annoying just naturally alluring delicious sweetness with an aromatic smokiness that isn't metallic just some boldness added instead.
This is gonna be my date night fragrance for sureee.
The girl who wears this isn't soft but bold and knows what she wants, this scent isn't for the faint hearted, she is a head turning fragrance. A woman who stands in her power.

I was shocked by how much I loved this perfume. It is sweet, smoky, and sexy. The gunpowder note took me off guard on first smell, but I think it's really the note that takes this to the next level for me. It performs very well and seems like it lasts forever on both clothes and skin. It's not a fluffy, sugary sweet the way I find the original Flowerbomb to be, but "nectar" is an absolutely fitting name, as this scent's syrupy quality is totally mouthwatering. I'm in love!

People can say it's too mainstream or basic all they want, but a good perfume is a good perfume. Period. This is one of my favorite fragrances hands-down, and it's so hard to find perfumes that live up to this. The notes play out exactly how they're listed, it lasts for DAYS, it projects beautifully, and I get so many compliments on it and people asking "what perfume do you have" that I'm always surprised when I leave the house. As someone obsessed with perfume I know flowerbomb and all of its flankers when I smell it, and I smell it on a lot of people. And yet everyone asks me where to get my perfume! This is a very sweet, syrupy, metallic and smoky perfume. The gunpowder makes it so unique. It has warm and punchy florals that are smoothed out by an almost "gooey" baked goods-type vanilla at the end, and it's all rounded out by a deep and smoky patchouli. Gorgeous. This will always be one of my favorites.

I love this one! It's sweet, strong, and lasts all day long! THIS is how perfume should be! LOVE!!!!!

Jammy version of original . I would say it’s sweeter with a hint of apricot , raisins and cough syrup . At first I didn’t like the gunpowder , but comparing it side to side with the original , I think the metallic twist is very good . I like this one better than the original

Syrupy, sweet nectar and metallic gunpowder. It has a cooling-aromatic vibe and a slight smokiness to it. The tonka bean and vanilla make it kind of warm and spicy. This is edgy, unique and intoxicating!

I only have good words for this. SO BEAUTIFUL! whoever thought of adding gunpowder is a genius! One of my staples.

Nectar is a must have for all the flowerbomb lovers. For all the gourmand lovers and all the women that like to smell rich and classy and sexy !!!
So this is basically a more deep, sweet ,sexier Flowerbomb. Instead of calling it intense they called it Nectar. Rumor has it that the purple intense version may get discontinued in place of the new Nectar .It is a great name as it is the flowers nectar instead of the flower, honeyed up , sexed up , spiced up and much sweeter as original Flowerbomb. Nectar is the gourmand edible twist to the original .The patchouli is still massive , which I love! Gunpowder I cannot smell , I am familiar with real gunpowder growing up in a hunters family and I cannot relate it here.
I smell zero sulfurous notes.
I do smell the cassis , the vanilla and the patchouli! It’s a stunner !
Watch out ! WARNING ⚠️ bees ( and men ) will attack you , maybe BEST worn on a night out or in the cooler months.
Growing on me so much it moved to the top shelve ,lots of compliments from my husband and family. I like it quite a bit better than the original.
Along with prada femme , my favourite right now.

This is true nectar. Sweet. Rich. Thick. Syrupy. It is a delightful take on the Flowerbomb fragrance, which I did own, but no longer do because it had a scratchy sharpness that really bit my nose the wrong way. I loved it, so much so that I had a monster-sized limited-edition bottle and used it often, but the citrus or patchouli overdose would just come out and bite me and I had to give it up eventually.
Flowerbomb Nectar is like the smooth, sweet, spun-sugar fluff ball version of Flowerbomb that does away with the high notes and retains the sweet floral heart of the original. The strong tonka fluffs up Nectar with a powdery touch that also gives this one a bit more of a comfort vibe. And somehow, magically, and quite appropriately, the combination of notes brings to mind honeyed beeswax. Like the beecomb things you can chew the honey out of. It's quite interesting and delightful.
I truly adore Nectar, and not only because it has made Flowerbomb wearable for me again, but because it comes with monster sillage and longevity. I do feel like Nectar could perhaps bring anosmia on more quickly than its predecessor due to its general all-round pleasant smoothness, but I no longer own its predecessor so can't compare. However, people around me can smell Nectar on me the next day, so it is fantastically clingy. So good in every way, and best of all, for us fragrance variety junkies, it now comes in a purse spray, so no need to shell out for a big bottle! It made me so happy to see it in the purse size, so I could justify the purchase, as I kept going in to Shoppers Drug Mart to spray it whenever I could previously :P.
Also, I think that it is entirely possible to dislike Flowerbomb and like this, but I also think that it is nearly impossible to like this if you are averse to sweet scents. It is INCREDIBLY sweet. This is a good thing for me, and is quite pleasant when sprayed conservatively, but I'm sure it will turn off some people.

Originally I received a sample of Viktor and Rolf's "Flowerbomb Nectar Intense" while walking through central town one day. Having never smelt the original Flowerbomb before, I had no preconceived ideas of what this flanker would smell like in comparison.
Upon sniffing it I was in love and knew I had to purchase it, it smelt sweet, more of a mature sweet scent, rather than a syrupy sugar scent. FB Nectar intense is a comforting and warm sweet smell, with a balsamic twist that makes this different from the original Flowerbomb and other fragrances on the market currently. I can notice the underlying note of gunpowder which I haven't smelt in any other perfumes. FB Nectar intense has great longevity 8+ hours and initially has great sillage before it begins to sit closely upon the skin.
FB Nectar intense is lovely, could be worn at any age and for any occasion, it is a powerhouse of a fragrance but I don't believe that it is too strong for daily use - price-wise though I wouldn't use it every day, but it would also be perfect for special occasions.
It is heavenly and luxurious. I can see this becoming a modern classic fragrance, if you find the original Flowerbomb too "boring" or if you want to kick it up a notch, try this! It's Flowerbomb with a rockstar twist.

I have always loved Flowerbomb, but Nectar is much better. I really can't get enough. This is another scent that I find addictive. You can really smell the tonka, benzoin, patch, vanilla and gunpowder. Now that I know what gunpowder smells like, anyway. lol. The gunpowder is what really made this perfume, in my opinion. It gives Nectar a more mature, sensual feel. It is a warm spicy sweet scent with great longevity and sillage. It has quickly become a fav of mine. Now, let's just hope that they don't discontinue this one like they did with FB Rose Explosion!

For me this is heaven. The Patch is smooth the Tonka/vanilla is deep and every note is well blended. Sillage is moderate which is my preferred sillage and the longevity is good. This is gourmand at its best. I also get wafts of burnt sugar vibe maybe the benzoin is causing that.

I used to wear the original Flowerbomb a lot when I was younger. Honestly, it didn’t even occur to me at the time that the bottle was supposed to be a grenade- I just thought the name meant a “blast of flowers.” Now seeing some of their newer releases like Spice Bomb Night Vision, I’ve realized their whole gimmick is military-inspired imagery (I know, I was slow to draw that conclusion). The inclusion of a prominent gunpowder note? The flanker named “bomblicious”? Maybe I’m just getting old, but I feel like this is all in really poor taste. War is not fashionable or cute. I know it’s just perfume, but I dislike us as a society being so desensitized to this stuff. I’m not interested in this brand anymore.
As for the scent- this is even more syrupy sweet than the original, and I didn’t think that was possible. It’s nauseating, and I like sweet scents. It’s way too expensive for something so generic and forgettable.

Tried it at Dillards today. The opening notes are a sweet fruity floral, but they dry down into a powdery scent with a hint of floral. If you really get your nose up right next to your skin, there's a tinge of a chemical, cough-syrup scent - possibly my interpretation of the gunpowder note? At a distance, it's not terrible, but it's not not for me. I'm not a fan of the original Flowerbomb, but I do like the top notes of Nectar more.

Very very sweet and sticky blackcurrants, like Ribena. Not for me I'm afraid.
Sampled it again and it's growing on me, which actually says quite a lot for the fragrance as it couldn't be further from my comfort zone if it tried!
Ended up buying a small bottle. I am weak. Sold it, it just wasn't me.
twiztidladii
It has a really strange smell. It’s gotta be the gunpowder that’s throwing it all off. It’s like a metallic syrupy goopy scent. It’s definitely an acquired scent. And it’s not for me. Good thing I only grabbed a sample.
