I am so tired of much of the reviews on fragrantica. If you don’t like a fragrance, just say it didn’t work for you, list the reasons why and move on. There’s no need to insult our community’s sense of taste, or unleash a long winded hate rant, filled with unnecessary judgements on the type of people who happen to like something you don’t. Honestly, it’s just not fun and inclusive for anyone when we approach our reviews in that way. But ya know, whatever, do you boo. ✨🩵✨

BlakeKlip

This is a very zesty fragrance

midget11

I have just revisited this AGAIN and its very literally intense sweet fruity shampoo, everyone just likes it cuz its very strong and smooth, but the actual scent itself is below mediocre...This is leaning very feminine to me, just like any other fruity girls designer scent, its not hot on either gender and only suits girls at best. on a dude it would just smell like fruity shower/hair products and thats it, not remotely masculine. Just sayin, it smells like a typical cheap fruity perfume when people smell you, nothing special, doesnt smell remotely xpensive nothing,...clearly overhyped and most definitely overpriced...ur paying for the pungent performance here not the boring ass scent

Ive literally only been holding on to my bottle begging to see what the hype is about every other week, gaslighting myself to think its better than it is and hoping it'll grow on me but it never does so its probs time to get rid of it or just put it in the diffuser

European2024

Cheap hand wash soap smell 🤣🤣🤣

krystmnv

It’s smells identical to the fake cigarette gums that we had in the 90’s/early 2000’s. Fruity and musky.

cats_eye

I used to really hate this one! I love it now! I can smell it's woodsy, musky amber basenotes on my laundry. Just don't spray heavily and you'll be fine.

lapharme

I’ve been wanting to try this fragrance for YEARS and I FINALLY just got around to getting a sample, and I had NO idea what to expect but it definitely was NOT *this*. Now, a little background: the reason I waited so long to try even a sample of this is because based on the notes, this is NOT something for me. I’m not a fan of fruity sweet scents at ALL. But the reason I wanted to try this so bad was cognitive dissonance. Yes, cognitive dissonance. With most perfumes, I can get a pretty good “picture” in my head of what it might smell like (even if that picture may end up being wrong) based on the notes, reviews, and reminds me of section. But with this one, no matter how many times I studied the notes and comparisons and read through the reviews, I just could NOT get a picture in my mind of what this might smell like! Now if it had just been the notes I actually probably would’ve been somewhat close, but the reviews are what threw me off. Oud, they said! Unisex, they said! Deep and complex, they said! But also sharp and synthetic, some said? Admittedly that last one is the only one that made sense to me with the notes, but anyway try putting all those descriptions together with the notes and what do YOU imagine? I simply couldn’t make sense of it. How can a perfume be fresh and SUPER FRUITY and sweet and synthetic (according to some) yet also oudy and complex and deep and expensive smelling and unisex all at the same time? It seemed a wonder to me, and even if I don’t like fruity scents, I had to try this one simply for the mystery and that artfulness (if indeed it really is all those things that other people said). Occam’s razor states that the simplest explanation is usually the best, and this is a perfect example of that because the simple explanation is that…it’s none of those things, except for fruity and fresh and sweet and synthetic. I tried Atkinsons Her Majesty The Oud, which is ACTUALLY a fruity oud, and thought that I finally found something that might smell like erba pura, a fruity oud, and while I didn’t LOVE that one I did like it enough to want to explore more so I finally ordered a sample of this. I’d also been in a car the other day that smelled like a super fruity synthetic fruit but properly unisex with perhaps a touch of oud scent, and also thought of erba pura. Well, now I have it and it’s NOTHING like either of those two things. You know what this is? This is BRITNEY SPEARS FANTASY top notes, and mostly just the top notes. It’s BS Fantasy without so much cupcake and gourmand notes (there’s still a tad though). Straight up. Now, I’m not one to gender fragrances and I myself wear primarily unisex or even masculine-leaning fragrances (as a woman) but there is NO WAY this could be considered unisex by anyone who’s being honest. Again, this is literally Fantasy’s opening except it stays that way. There’s no planet in which anyone could smell this and think it’s even remotely masculine. Of course, that does NOT mean a man can’t wear it (again, I wear masculine fragrances too if they smell good to me) but please don’t be under the illusion that this somehow smells “manly” due to the reviews (which something tells me come largely from people, probably new/ish to the fragrance world, who splurged on a full bottle because hype and are now trying to convince themselves it was worth it). It doesn’t. This might not be QUITE as girly as Fantasy or Pink Sugar but it’s close, damn close. It does project fantastically well, but Fantasy projects pretty fantastically too. I will say that at least the lack of EXTRA extra sugar in this as opposed to Fantasy makes this less jarring than Fantasy, but also probably less appealing to those who like fantasy for the sugary gourmand notes. That said, I don’t think those kinds of perfume-wearers are Xerjoff’s target demographic, but who knows. This fragrance does seem to be doing quite well for them. But I’m still just in shock. I’m actually pretty amused, almost laughing. Of all the things I possibly could’ve imagined this fragrance of near-mythical hype to smell like, THIS was NOT one of them. A higher quality and slightly fresher and slightly less sugary (just slightly) version of Fantasy is basically the VERY LAST thing I would’ve ever expected from this hype beast, and it’s honestly pretty funny. I’m not surprised it seems to be mostly men hyping this up though, because one of my first thoughts was that my poor long-suffering bf who is exposed to my dark, heavy, oud-y, oriental, animalic, and chypre perfumes on the regular will probably LOVE this, lol! I do like this a lot more than Fantasy, I’ll give it that (and damn, I’d hope so for the price! I probably could’ve gotten a small bottle of fantasy for what I paid for this little sample lol). It lacks the screechy, jarring notes/qualities of Fantasy that make it unwearable for me. Yes, this is synthetic, particularly for a niche. Compared to your average designer scent this is about equal maybe a little less synthetic (key word being average, not all designer scents are synthetic but most newer releases are and that’s what I’m comparing to). But it’s still nowhere near as synthetic as Fantasy or really just about any celeb scent. And this isn’t a cheap smelling type of synthetic. Of course, for 10x the price of your average celeb scent, including Fantasy, that is VERY much to be expected, to say the least. This gets MUCH nicer on the drydown than Fantasy does as well and that’s where you can really start to smell the quality. Honestly, I’m not a fruity fan, but Xerjoff does fruits very well. La Tosca is quite fruity and it’s one of my absolute favorite scents! Gran Balo was also way nicer than I was expecting and quite fruity as well. So maybe I don’t hate fruity scents, maybe I just hate cheaper fruity scents. This is actually quite nice and the more it dries down, the more I like it. This would be really nice for late spring and summer days (but not TOO hot days, or this might get cloying). Would I buy a bottle? Honestly, maybe. Just because it’s SO different from anything else that I own, and this could be a great change of pace and crowd pleaser. I’d get La Tosca first though. Hopefully though, if my bf likes it as much as I predict he will, I can get him to get it for me instead ie “babe, if you get me this I promise you I won’t wear my heavy amber-y ouds and orientals *every* day anymore” :p It doesn’t hurt that the bottle is stunning too, like all Xerjoffs!

Overall I’d say:
Worth the hype? No, unless you LOVE fruit
But is it a good fragrance? Yes. Even from this fruit hater
Dry or sweet? Sweet, very sweet! 7.5-8 out of 10 sweet (10 being like Pink Sugar, LVEB, etc)
Masculine or feminine? Very feminine, almost girly.
Performance? Excellent, beastly even.
Niche quality (ie the blending and quality of the raw ingredients)? Yes
Worth the price? Ehhh, maybe. If I find a good deal I’d say yes
Crowd pleaser? Definitely, but don’t overspray
Man pleaser/sexy? Yes, most guys will probably love this
Seasonal? Could work year round but it’s definitely more of a warm weather scent imo. The vanilla could possibly make it work quite well in the cold too though.
If I could sum it up in a few words? Charming. Juicy. Fresh. Delicious.
Safe blind buy? No way unless you love juicy fruit scents.

And lastly, this perfume is a perfect example of a fragrance that smells delicious, juicy, and mouth-watering without being an outright gourmand or foodie. The only other scent I can remember that had that mouthwatering fruity smell was Escada Pacific Paradise the OG formula from the early 2000s, but at nearly 30 I feel too “mature” for that one (plus I doubt there are still any un-turned bottles floating around). That is not the case with Erba Pura, which still feels classy, sophisticated, and age-appropriate. I had the escada when I was in middle and high school, and I once had a vivid dream where I was at a store selling those escada perfumes except that they were drinkable and actually tasted exactly like they smelled, and it was so juicy and delicious and I couldn’t get enough. That’s what I mean by mouthwatering, and this is the only other scent (at least that I can remember) that’s had that exact same effect on me-mouthwatering. In that specific sense, if you’re looking for a perfume that is truly mouthwatering and juicy, then this IS worth the hype. It’s just not worth the *general* hype that this gets. It’s a crowd pleaser yes, but that doesn’t mean that it’s going to be one of those “universal” scents that will be to the liking of, or suit, most of the people actually wearing it, if that makes sense. There’s a difference between a fragrance that is a crowd pleaser to those around you who only smell it fleetingly, vs a perfume with mass-appeal to the actual *wearer* who is smelling it all day. Therefore, this is a crowd pleaser but NOT a safe blind buy. Then again, maybe it is. After all, I hate sweet fruity scents and I’m actually really liking this. No but seriously get a sample first. This was the biggest scent surprise I’ve had in a while, both the scent itself/what it smells like AND the fact that I’m actually really liking it!

Kourita82

burnbaby

Smells like someone who is desperately trying to get noticed. I will never understand what people like about this fragrance and why every other person i pass by wears this

Faeriecoma

It Smells like a try hard guy who goes clubbing too much. Too musky way too harsh. I tried to wash it off but It left behind so much musk. It’s like a bad tropical car air freshener.

afelixir

I smelled this today at the store, this smells like a fruity shampoo or bodywash, I can’t comment on the performance, but I expected it to be more of sweet fruity yummy scent, but this just smelled like a fresh fruity shampoo

Dartmouthguy

Rewarding fragrance that fills a room. The nice dry down provides a sweet fruity vanilla aroma! This is a compliment getter.

Forand

smells like a really high quality shampoo from the women's section

SirSmellsGood

I sprayed my wrist twice at 5pm.
It's 8:30AM the next day and it's still a skin scent. Now that's some longevity!🫒🤌

m4513726

one word. nasty.

overpowering fruits makes u want to puke. smells like literal cough syrup. bloody strong tho

SirSmellsGood

The smell reminds me of Starburst candy. I like it though

YaGirlSniffsMe

This would smell ok on a girl but to me idk why but it just smells like women’s shampoo. I wanted to like this so bad from the notes and I love sweet smelling scents but this smells so heavy and cloying and to be honest just all over the place. 3 sprays max on this one. I’d say unisex leaning female. Maybe I need to smell this on someone else to see how it does in the air. But I can’t get past this sticky heavy mix of a fruit mix. Honestly reminded me and other of women’s shampoo/conditioner.

If you like this tbh I’d recommend “god of fire” to me personally smells a lot more pleasant and a bit more on the men’s side with a super juicy fruity smell and mango.

bd78

The hate for this is underserved. A great fruity scent that isn’t the synthetic bomb pseudos make it out to be. Great longevity too. Erba gold smells exactly the same and if you weren’t smelling them side by side you wouldn’t notice a single difference. Unisex.

ieatmon

Idk why people consider this such a revelation. It smells like fruit all mashed together and then when it's gone, it's just heavy musk :( Not my cup of tea, annoying to my nose.

erkkk_

I have been using Erba Pura as my signature scent for quite some time and here are my thoughts
- It is an enormous crowd-pleaser, however, if someone dislikes it they will dislike it a lot
- if can come across as very harsh and not pleasant if oversprayed
- It starts off very intense and eventually loses this, however, it remains solid throughout almost the whole day

I personally do not see it working in winter or at night as well as some people do, or at least there are way better alternatives for these situations.
Overall I absolutely love this fragrance, but can come off as a bit too strong. 9/10

lenix

I dont own this fragrance but i’ve tried it, the first thing that came to my mind when i tried it was the strong fruity note, I honestly dont like it. It is too sweet, fruity and feminine. At this price if you’re a male I dont reccomend it but if you’re a female, sure go for it! Overall the longevity is long and the projection is strong, it is definitely for the summer and spring.

lrhon

What's up with with all the ChatGPT reviews

CHRISTIANDIORDIOR

A little zesty, sure, but it's a great variety cologne that a guy can throw on in the high heat to smell like a delicious pile of tropical fruits. While naxos didn't live up to the hype for me (it's possible I got a bad batch, though) erba pura definitely does

Ahmed1996Youssef

Unisex fruits bomb ♥️

joshmW

Very feminine fragrance. I would enjoy this scent on a woman, but not something a man should be wearing. Great fruity women's perfume, perfect for spring and summer.

IssaMood

Some of y’all are doing too much in these reviews, lol. I don’t know if we are smelling the same fragrance, because I actually love Erba Pura. She’s a beautiful woman, looking out at the sea from a tropical balcony, surrounded by bountiful plants and fruits of every kind. At least that’s how I feel when wearing it. I can’t speak to the Garnier shampoo comparisons, because I’ve never smelled it, I’m an AG Care girl. Honestly, I think it deeply depends on your skin chemistry and the climate, because I receive only compliments. I do agree that the price is super high, but I got an amazing deal on my bottle and I couldn’t be happier.

SamTheOrca

Erba Pura by Xerjoff receives a lackluster 3.5 out of 10 in my review, primarily due to its polarizing scent profile and unjustifiably high price tag. Despite attempts to convey a tropical paradise, the fragrance often falls short, resembling more of a cheap air freshener found in a budget hotel lobby in Hawaii than a luxurious perfume.

From the first spritz, Erba Pura overwhelms with an artificial sweetness that lacks depth and sophistication. Instead of evoking visions of exotic fruits and lush landscapes, it conjures images of synthetic fragrances used to mask unpleasant odors. The attempt to create a tropical ambiance with notes of fruits and flowers feels forced and artificial, failing to transport the wearer to the paradise it promises.

One of the most significant drawbacks of Erba Pura is its exorbitant price tag. Given its lackluster performance and uninspired scent composition, it's difficult to justify the hefty investment required to add this fragrance to your collection. There are countless other options available at a fraction of the cost that deliver a more enjoyable olfactory experience.

In my own experience, Erba Pura has consistently disappointed with its underwhelming performance and lack of originality. While I appreciate the attempt to capture the essence of a tropical paradise, the execution falls flat, leaving much to be desired.

In conclusion, Erba Pura by Xerjoff is a fragrance that fails to live up to its lofty expectations. Its cheap air freshener-like scent and unjustifiably high price make it a poor investment for anyone seeking a luxurious and sophisticated fragrance experience. With a mere 3.5 out of 10, it's clear that Erba Pura leaves much to be desired and is best avoided in favor of more worthy options.

fraghead345

I'm sorry this is a genuine 1:1 clone of Erba pura. Such a beautiful, all year round, day and night fragrance. Fruity, vanilla, musky goodness.

ivanthegreat

The very first thing I would tell anyone who is considering buying this fragrance is that it is an ETERNAL NUCLEAR PERFORMER. It projects way more than other strong fragrances in my collection such as PDM Carlisle. It easily fills a room. This is the only fragrance that has ever gotten me a negative reaction, which had nothing to do with the scent itself but rather just the performance. I recently wore 1.5 sprays of this to my friends house to pregame for a night out and he told me I “reeked of cologne” while standing 6 feet away from me. He also said I was “over-doing it”. This is a guy who is no stranger to fragrances himself and has been around me while I’ve had 8 sprays of Ysl Y edp on and said nothing. So this stuff is definitely a beast. I smell the musk notes on me very clearly after more than 24 hours and the fruit notes stay on my clothes permanently. People say this smells like herbal essence shampoo and I actually agree, which is why I like it. I have nostalgic memories of that shampoo from when I was young and also I’ve had some good memories from recent times while wearing this fragrance. I’ll still wear it on nights out but 1 spray max and definitely won’t wear it in professional settings anymore. I now realize that it was probably offending people but they just didn’t want to say anything to me.

robertlia

Mediocre fragrance comparable to any fruity shampoo or body wash. Really HEAVILY fruity with some vanilla in the base and not much else. Honestly hard for me to understand what someone could see in this.

elenagr22

Not impressed!

This is very unisex, strong and gives me rich Dubai boy vibes that spends his holidays at Mykonos or

Overall it doesnt feel classy to me. It has a try hard and forced-eccentric attitude, not in terms of quality but in terms of buyer profile. As a woman, I wouldnt take a man wearing this seriously

VilianM.

Outstanding fragrance. From the longevity to the scent, to the sillage, to the price, I'm in love. I can't wrap my head around all the trolls and haters. Nothing I did read here seems to be even remotely close to the truth.

Psalzarulo

On first impression, this is an extremely strong, extremely fresh fruity scent. As my first time smelling a Xerjoff scent, I had no idea what to expect, and I certainly wasn't expecting sweet and fruity as this. This is also an extremely strong scent. Even after just 1.5 spray from my small sample vial, the strong fruit note nearly burns my nostrils (or at least feels like it).

I do think the powerful fruit note could work for a man, but the scent profile itself leans very feminine; just a bit stronger than a typical women's perfume.

On dry-down, I wouldn't say it changes too much but obviously it settles down a bit as vanilla base comes a bit stronger.

Justing this as a unisex scent, I find this scent a bit hard to judge. It's way too strong for any normal use and the super sweet fruit is definitely not something you'd want to be too strong. I don't think it works well as a mens scent since it's very sweet and fruity, and it's just too strong and powerful to work as a women's scent.

In addition, I don't even really like the smell and the price is insane for how this smells. I'll give it a 6.75/10

Vvsberg

Has a well known synthetic note called “fruit basket” it’s in the middle note and it’s disgusting overly strong just nasty. This house is definitely dealing with higher synthetic that’s why most there fragrance are so strong un natural

Mgrijalva

It dries down to an amber / boozy … a dark fruit . It’s very nice ! The dry down reminds me oh khamra Arabian perfume. It’s a gorgeous scent and it has great projection and longevity - but I don’t feel the price is justified .. over all a 7.7/10

LiaJet2000

This is a fruity amber scent with musk notes that is quite appealing.
In the first few seconds I felt it was very department store freshie, but those notes burnt off quickly.
It smells quite nice, I feel, and it is one of those types of scents you've smelt somewhere before, and so it doesn't feel as special.
I wouldn't personally wear this one though, it's a common kind of scent

ChitoSimS

Smell like straight up fruits. Very good and strong smell but leans very feminine. Barely unisex.

Gaboich

reminds me of a freshly cleaned hotel room in the summer

It is kinda hard to wear tho bc its good at giving headaches

JonnyFrags

@aezzzzz

FACTS

aezzzzz

these nerds be doing too much on these reviews, aint no one give a f bout the fact that it’s synthetic only thing that matter is that it smells good ion care bout how many chemicals this shi has if it smells good im wearing it

owenn8954

i love this but two sprays and i felt embarrassed the whole day. definitely be careful with this one

Amtaha

I hate this so much

Vvsberg

This fragrance is disgusting and has way to much synthetics! When u first start it the fruit notes smell nice but once u get pass the opening it smell so fake and like synthetic on your skin! And it so strong on your skin you have to scrub it 3-4 times to get this synthetic off your skin. Idk man it’s disgusting make u question this brand feel like they use to many synthetics in some of there fragrance.

yeghishedaviti

Smells like a strong peach. A little synthetic scent but it's a good cologne overall, although I would say Sospiro is much better in the Erba Pura formula. Love it though. 4.5/5

AxeDeoderantEnjoyer

The notes are wrong, it smells exactly like pear syrup

cwilliams217

I LOVE this fragrance. Upon first spray, it does have a cleaning chemical smell, kind of like Pine Sol. But once it is dried down, it smells like how I imagine the coast of Italy in the summer. The longevity and projection are by far the best in my collection, which can be dangerous if you or someone around you is not a fan of the scent. I don't get vanilla at all, just citrus and musk.

iker091611

i got made fun of at school for wearing this but i still like it alot

mooooo

This is a weapon. Breaking a bottle, a war crime. I blind bought and I still get flashbacks.

I thought it would be beachy, fruity and fun. NO. This fills a room, its potent, headache inducing, and overpowering. The smell itself, it's giving Kool-Aid, it's giving chemical, it's giving niche...

This one's a scrubber for sure, stay safe out there kids.

owenn8954

I love this. Its like how I feel with ultra male. It doesnt matter if your a more masculine guy or a more feminine person, its just HOW you wear it. This smells like a beach party and I love it.

angus2tekky

Like what Aaron Terrance Hughes said in his review of this fragrance, this is a fragrance where you either love or hate it and there is no in between. However me personally, I love it. My most complimented fragrance

But consider the fragrance when it is discovered in its scent trail and not when sniffed up close like you would smell a scent card. There's a difference. Probably why its headache inducing and overpowering af is probably because you're sticking your damn nostrils up to it.

Would I buy another bottle? Sure why not. But LV Pacific Chill gave the same vibes but with more citrus and aquatic notes so I might opt for that instead.

WanderingSoun

Smells like kool aid

Adriennne

Everyone is so obsessed with niche. A what is niche - a modern way to take money from people who buy something for the idea of how others will react when they say they wear a niche fragrance. This is not worth it and it also doesnt smell so good at all. I have no words to explain my disappointment. Fruity weirdness with no depth and longevity. But hey you are niche.
G thanks, i will buy better stuff than this.

Thorchill03

I tried a sample of this perfume and would say this is way to overpowering. This smells like a full bottle of cleaning detergent. I would recommend being careful with the sprays. Me personally didn’t like the scent at all and had a hard time getting the scent off me it was that bad. I will try to get my friend to wear this so I can get all the girls by myself.

jadepo21

I truly do not like this. There is something so chemical and sharp that makes it very cold and off putting. It has a mothball-like quality that, mixed with the strong citrus, is rather odd. And it is simply one of the most powerful scents I have ever tried. Survived a shower, and as I was desperate to get this vile smell off, that was not a good thing. Sure don’t understand the hype for this one.

kvantnacestica

This scent makes me sick. I was 100% sure I was going to like it, and sprayed it confidently all over. I am still sick and cant get it out of my nose or my skin after showering twice and washing my hands a 100 times. Its eternal. It has some kind of chemical fruit note that I cant put my finger on, which I hate. Its not overly sweet however, and its not floral either. All I get is chemicals that give me headache. Just terrible.

Whatadaydan

Smells like head and shoulders……

lidor

Smells like fruity cocktail with candied gummies in it. The scent is Unisex and versatile.

I just received a bottle of Erba Pura with the new presentation - the smooth bottle, vs. the older velvety one. Just to be clear, this is the third time I'm buying it, so you can consider me a huge fan of this scent. In fact, I gave the previous two bottles away fully knowing I would be buying another one at some point. I don't wear it myself, I bought it for my wife. She loves it. I love it on her.

A few words about the longevity and projection - just be sure you really love this scent and are ready for it to linger for the next few days. Spray once or twice. If you spray three or more times, don't say I didn't warn you.

Scent profile has been discussed many, many, many times. The only thing I can add is that this scent is somehow just familiar. When I first smelled it, it was this "where has this been all my life?!" feeling it evoked. In fact, it is the same experience I get from Accento Overdose (no surprise, since the same nose is behind them both). In terms of similarity to the older bottles, I sense a slightly more "complete" Erba Pura in this new bottle. It is ever so slight, that most people will never be able to tell. And somehow, and maybe this is just me, but I think this newest bottle increased the longevity and projection even more, compared to the two velvet bottles I had had previously... maybe I'm wrong on these last two points, but this is the impression I got.

The new box and the scarf the perfume comes with are great. I love that Xerjoff always excels in presenting their perfumes. Bottle and atomizer quality on the five Xerjoffs I own are without any reprise, but I have heard some reviewers complain about their quality before. My only complaint is that there never seems to be enough of them and I'm already getting to the point of having to re-buy my all-time favorite - Don (which is not cheap by any measure).

kombarris

Although no flowers are featured in the note breakdown I do get a slight rose hint along with all the fruity goodness. It smells like Glocken gold multivitamin drink tastes like. Fresh, summery, mass appealing, sweet. Nothing too special, great summer fragrance. Genderwise, right down the middle. Unisex that is.

norelevance

I despise this fragrance. I don't get fruit, I get something that slaps me in the face and shoves hay in my throat. I could not get this off of me fast enough, and it doesn't go willingly. I tried this multiple times because everyone loves it, so I had to be missing something, right? No. I've suffered through hours of it hoping it would morph into something lovely, but it never did. It is quite literally the most offensive fragrance I've ever had in my possession.

Cashicals

Strong, sweet very fruity opening that dries down to a musky vanilla smell with some amber that is not too overpowering. Very versatile, more for warmer weather but can be used during all seasons, it is definitely not fit for anything formal. This will probably be my signature once I buy it

Pavel14

Smells like pear.

Garren88

I ordered a sample of this to test as I’m looking for a fragrance for my wedding in may - THIS IS THE ONE! It’s beautiful, and has lasted 10+ hours on my skin!

AngelRock77

my friend sprayed a small spray on his wrist while we were at the mall and it instantly gave me headache and nausea.after 30 minutes drive i had to kick him out of the car.I COULDN'T STAND IT

arsm11

"fuzzy"-fruity & candy sweet w/ a touch of depth that smells like cassis to me. For me, every Escada fragrance seems exactly the same and this is just like those. not my style (I like warmer fragrances) but I can see how others might love this.

moist fetus

I only have this fragrance in a sample that I got from my girlfriend for Christmas. It was not what I expected, but I still enjoyed it. It opens as a slightly synthetic citrus, and that syntheticness remains throughout the mid and the drydown, being one of the bigger drawbacks to this fragrance. The mid introduces less citrus and more of a fruity, fluffy mango-like scent that then fades into a musky amber scent with a lingering fruitiness in the base.

The synthetic aspect to this fragrance is very obvious throughout it. Many people either think this fragrance is a masterpiece or a synthetic heap of garbage. And while I don't think it's the ladder, I also am not in the realm of thinking it is a masterpiece. It is a nice, really uplifting and loud scent that you can wear when you're out with your friends. I once wore this to school and sprayed it 4 times... bad, bad idea. Almost every class I walked into, I had people telling me that they could smell me from across the room and that I smelled like hand sanitizer. I remember walking into my second period, and 3 girls started coughing and saying that someone smells like cleaning products. So yeah, super duper strong synthetic smell. However, I still enjoy it.

Overall, I rate this fragrance an 8.6 out of 10.

Xerjoff Erba Pura is undeniably a masterpiece in the realm of perfumery, boasting a harmonious fusion of citrusy freshness, delicate floral notes, and sensual undertones of vanilla and musk. Don't listen to those who say this smells feminine; From the moment it touches your skin, it evokes a sense of luxury and refinement that is simply unparalleled. The attention to detail is evident not only in the exquisite composition of the scent but also in the elegant packaging that encases it. What sets Erba Pura apart is its remarkable versatility; whether it's a casual day out or a special evening affair, this fragrance effortlessly adapts, enhancing your presence with its sophisticated allure. Each whiff of Erba Pura is akin to embarking on a sensory journey filled with joy and confidence, leaving a trail of enchantment wherever you go. In essence, Xerjoff Erba Pura is more than just a fragrance; it's a captivating expression of elegance and charm that promises to leave a lasting impression on both the wearer and those around them.

jamessbrowning

I absolutely love this fragrance. I could wear it as a man. But when my wife wears it I always cannot believe how great it smells. It is sort of musky yet very fresh. It has a smooth vanilla kind of feeling as well. Very good fragrance.

Montana Fragrances

My favorite fragrance of all time. I could wear this all year around and it will still be good for any season. A true masterpiece

cats_eye

Starts off fruity and citrusy with a fizziness about it. They drydown, however, is totally different... Dry, scratchy musk and ambroxan. Almost sour and salty, like sweat. It's like two totally different scents.

MansEderstrom

Very good summer fragrance, it smells like a fruit basket with like a good smelling apple that has been left out for a while. Super long lasting with great projection. 4 hours after spraying this on my friend could smell it from 5 meters away. its a bit female so if i where 50+ i wouldnt be wearing it. but its perfect for people 30 years old or younger.

aleck93

a lighter Date for Men by FragOne. Not my vibe. Luckily projection is not too strong otherwise it would get cloying. The fruits note isn't done too well here, could do without the vanilla and then add something else to make it more airy.
Overall disappointing coming from Xerjoff

PavlovsDog

Declan Rice wears this.

Kyliemor

This was a love at first site and I’ve enjoyed it ever since, I love fruity fresh fragrance,Notes in here are so well blended that I can’t even get the exact fruit notes . This a Fresh and beast mode fragrance,I will categorize this fragrance as a female signature scent, the dry down which is fresh fruity musky note makes it wearable for men.

masterfragrance1

like all the people say, its feminine, for my think is a man fragrance its not that masqulin, but its smells so good and i got more than 10 good says from girls in a day, than really recommend for my think its a deffentialy 10/10 fragrance

ilmdfr1

I don't have it but if you over spray its annoying and will smell like a hospital with how alcoholic it is.

angelica4444

Notes in here are so well blended that I can’t even get the fruit basket reference. Fresh and beast mode fragrances are kinda my thing and erba pura is the blueprint in this category especially for a woman. I like vibrato and tygar but they’re too masculine for me. Erba pura is the perfect beast mode freshie.

Vvsberg

Perfect for summer smells like fresh fruit amazing

Aduro

I hate this so much. Nauseatingly strong and has a weird smell. Im scared to wear this and offend people.
I can’t figure out which note it is that is so horrible because I should like this. It’s a scrubber for me :(.

Drjkleep

I think this is a good perfume for hot weather. I wouldn't wear it in confined spaces or just as an everyday wear as it has very strong sillage and longevity. But you can go to the beach or for a walk. A very fresh unisex scent but rather feminine. I'm a man but I wear it well. I recommend 1-2 sprays

kipsu

Ordered a 2ml sample of this.
I really love this, and I'm gonna buy a full bottle. Fresh fruity opening, has the same fruity vibe as the 1ml sample of Aventus I tried. I mainly just get the citruses, fruitiness and slight tinge of vanilla.
Fresh/Sweet combination, which is really hard to mess up. I get some hints of kiwi and fresh strawberries, like a tropical fruity note. The most prominent fruit being mango, a more fresh mango note, compared to something like God of Fire from SLH777
Seems really strong, and reviews are pointing towards the same direction. Probably abseloutely most loved fresh spring/summer fragrance right now. Better than French Riviera and Torino21 for sure. I like this more than Greenley & Percival as well.
Leans less feminine than what reviews would suggest imo. (60/40)
Scent: 9/10 - Kiwi/Tropical fruity/fresh/slightly sweet scent.
Longevity: 9/10
Projection: 8/10
Price per ml: 8/10 - few sprays go a long way.

joydangrant

A BEAST perfume, this is one you need not to overspray. It's borderline offensively strong which makes it amazing and worth the value in my opinion. I mean - why buy a fragrance for it not to project right? A very berry forward and unisex leaning fragrance, I can definitely see both men and women wearing this fragrance equally. Not a safe blind buy and for many - you either love it or despise it.

sima424

For me it smels very good and fresh nice summer frangrance, but for some it may by too sweet or strong

ivos

I just bought this beauty but the plate is off centered
image https://ibb.co/wpFJbXQ

The online shop I bought it from is a very well known for selling original perfumes. It also has a physical store. I'm sure the perfume is real but why does this happened? Is it because the bottles are being made by hand (I read that on the internet)

Thomas7

It smells like a generic fruity shampoo/conditioner, nothing special at all to warrant the ridiculous price tag.

It seems Xerjoff must have sent a bunch of free bottles to “influencers” to warrant the hype

Ovaltine Jenkins

I get more musky vanilla than any fruity notes. I like it but it's not full bottle worthy.

Larinus

Longevity is beasty eternal, the smell stuck in my clothes for over one week

theelite22

Let's make this simple. Initially, it starts nice, synthetic with a nice fruit smell, then on the dry down it becomes almost a fruity / vanilla lotion or soap that lasts a while. If that's your thing, grab it! I enjoy it, but I have to be in the mood for it.

Lampo

Smells like burnt fruit or something like that. Too synthetic scent for me. Performance 5/5

Tdot23

It’s very difficult to get passed the sharp opening and when you do, you’re punched in the face with an overload of citrus. I truly don’t understand the hype

whoaboy

I also agree that it’s not worth the hype. Overwhelmingly synthetic fruit bomb. It smells like rotting melons on me for the first hour. Once it calms down and the amber comes out it becomes more bearable although not terribly interesting. I don’t understand why it’s named Pure Herb/Grass. To be ironic? Silly.

narwhalll

How.... does this smell like a fruit basket? Very synthetic, and very strong in performance. Definitely smells like perfume alright, so if you wanna smell fruity, but don't want to smell sugary sweet, then this is for you. Unisex but leans more masculine because of its screechy quality.

dmachado

It is a pleasant fragrance.

The citric notes from orange and lemon only lasts for a couple moments. After 5 minutes (on my skin, at least) there is only a sweet generic fruit scent with a faint ambery vanilla note, which lasts for a few hours.
It has good projection but not with a distinctive smell.

Not even close to the masterpiece some influencers are claiming it to be. Not worth the hype in my opinion.

Arsenal Till I Die

The epitome of what’s wrong with the fragrance scene. People will listen to a random on YouTube and tik Tok like mindless zombies and buy whatever they’re told to and not even what they would like personally because that seems like it’s out the window with the amount of times people ask others what they recommend or what their biggest compliment getter is. A sales associate told me 12-14 year olds are coming to try this and PDM fragrances! This can’t be real life. This somehow also reminds me of what happened to that fragrance Pacific rock moss that everyone had a meltdown about years ago just because it was put at number one on a females list 😂 unsubscribing and limiting the amount of fragrance content I see was one of the best things I have ever done in my life.

AkselSvEn

pride month is in july zesty ahh fragrance

Renan C. Anjos

Erba Pura is like having a collection of fragrances in one bottle. Not only because its price is the same as several combined, but also because it seems to mix a little of the fruity notes of each one; mainly those sweet and feminine. Amber and musk manage to pull the fragrance towards unisex.

Despite its (re)launch in 2019, the hype grows from the middle of the year before last (2022).

In the parallels of perfumery, Erba Pura, for me, makes an appeal very similar to that made by 212 VIP. Not that they are similar in aroma, but because they walk very parallelly to my nose: Fruity/ambery fragrances with great longevity and projection.

And their successes are also parallel: A combination that, even though sweet, allows its use in a high range of occasions; even if it is not the intention. It is the phenomenon of the “sweet citrus”: Invictus, Armani Code, 212 VIP, Allure Homme Sport Eau Extrême.

However, Erba Pura would be more like 1 Million in the ability to be invasive. Sweeter than citrusy/aromatic.

The other part of its success, in my view, comes from olfactory inspirations of feminine fragrances. Thus, causing a “strangely familiar” feel on the olfactory of the male audience. Wearing Erba Pura is like wearing a fragrance you’ve felt before, but can’t decipher which one it is. Perhaps, because the fragrance that you seek to unravel Erba Pura is not in the male fragrances section.

My favorite part of the fragrance is its gigantic drydown. The fruits cease in intensity and the ambery musk gains space. Extremely comfortable and, at this point, more inviting to the most diverse olfactory.

From the opening to its heart, Erba Pura is extremely youthful. I don’t see this perfume fitting more serious occasions, let alone office.

Tropical, Erba Pura reminds me of the vast variety of fruits we have in my country. This perfume is the face of Brazil - or rather - its caricature for the rest of the world. The climate here would not be the most appropriate for Erba Pura, but I use it anyway.

Erba Pura does not reinvent the wheel but makes it a good sports tire. It remasters fruity chords and packs them in an expensive velvet bottle (not anymore, they changed it to glass [?] apparently).

If I were to describe it, I would say it’s as if fructose had a smell; it’s the aroma of fruit sugar. The ideal clone of Erba Pura will be the one to deliver this fruit sugar without becoming a sweet bomb; as Erba Pura is already at the limit of sweetness. Being similar (not only in smell but in longevity and sillage) without exceeding this limit is the real challenge.

Socializing with friends, girlfriend/boyfriend, family trips, parties, raves. Anything that is not too serious fits the use of Erba Pura.

Scent: 5/7
Longevity: 6.5/7 (12h)
Sillage: 6/7
Originality: 4.5/7

santiniansia

The scent makes me thinking of eating Skittles. It's okay. It's definitely wearable but feels unremarkable. This may grow on me, but I don't think it's worth the price.

cheezcake

As a male, Erba Pura grew up on me, it has a beastly projection and longevity. the fruits and the vanilla note under makes me enjoy the scent very much. The drydown is very smooth and rich.
This is a performance BEAST. easily 12+hrs, great projection as well, the scent will stick to your clothes until you wash it.
Very easy to wear, probably can wear this in any occassion and any season, just be mindful of your amount of sprays, overspraying this makes you dizzy, it has a slight tropical vibe and scent is very enjoyable especially in summer.
I have no idea why this gets so much hate, i personally enjoy it very much.
You may not like it at the first tries, but the more you wear, the more you like it, it easily became one of my favorites.

mostafa385

Starts fruity & the dry down is amber Vanilla. Unisex leans feminine. Performance is off charts & very noticeable to others around me. Suitable for all seasons except high heat. Will try to add a full bottle soon.

Amelio77

as much as i like this frangrance it has beautfiul sexy citrusy smell but everytime i smell it in the air it reminds me of a girl instatly its just has that girly smell ...

Zahid(")5

Fragrence_kid. ChatGPT.

BiggySmells

Perfect fruity unisex fragrance. Smells like you are on a walk in Hawaii carrying a basket of the best fragrant fruits money can buy. Both guys and girls can pull off. Beast mode fragrance as well. 12+ hours longevity.

usmelllikeshit

I got it for a really good price ngl, it may be my nose but it smells soapy to me. It smells like parts to a computer when you first buy it. Though, i can say it does smell good. As someone who really enjoys gourmand this was a nice addition to my collection.

ReubenRibena

One of the best unisex summer fragrances, if not the best. This fragrance opens up with refreshing fruits and citrus, amazing for hot weather, later when the fragrance dries down you can smell lovely vanilla. This fragrance has nuclear projection and silage, it can fill a room.

Melody Valentine

*Just realised it smells a lot like Barratt's Fruit Salad chews.

None descript fruit and musk. I can't believe this is a niche scent that goes for the price it does. It doesn't smell bad, it's pleasant enough, but it's literally just a fruity body spray sorted of smell. Actually, whoever said it smells like Garnier Fructis shampoo is spot on. That's EXACTLY what it smells like. I suppose it could be unisex but leans feminine for me. It's totally forgettable in my opinion. I wouldn't even buy the Lattafa version. Perfumes can grow on me though so I'll give it another chance since I've got a sample of it. Maybe it'd be nice in the summer with it being fruity but even then there's far better fruity, summery scents.

supermukbanglove61

Great smell. im not sure why people hate it, it smells really nice and sweet. smells almost like peaches for me 👍 a bit expensive. awesome

Rayl£;69

Very synthetic would not recommend

fleetingglimpse

Hyped to death. Mediocre smell. Leans more feminine. Not for me.

BLACKZEORANGER

I usually don’t use the word hate. But I hate this fragrance. It’s disgusting. Yes it projects. Yes it lasts for a very long time. But it’s a very synthetic, headache inducing fragrance. It shouldn’t be on anyone’s skin. I wouldn’t even use this as a bathroom air freshener. It’s that bad. However, if you want attention this will absolutely get the job done.

cheemster

when i smelt this scent, i immediately fell in love with it for its very fruity notes and the dry down of vanilla and amber. it has beastly projection and amazing sillage. I think its best to spray at 4 times if you want many people to notice but also trying not to suffocate people. I rock with this fragrance despite leaning on feminine and living in a tropical country makes me able to use this fragrance any day as its suitable for the temperature and climate. Hence, this fragrance is absolutely amazing for me. 10/10

ErhanDurhan

The new shiny/polished bottles are not it.
Genuinely miss the old velvety outside of the bottles. 🥲

KokoLikeChanel

if you have this, you do not need kirke.
i bought kirke first, before i smelled this.
i like it because it smells sweeter than kirke.
once i do finish my bottle of kirke, ill be coming for this.
i have yet to test out my sample of erba pura to see how it mixes with my body chemistry/longevity and such.
i'll be back to report then... 👀

Ony_-_

very good

L77

Only reason to get this instead of Ana abiyedh or Amber oud gold is the AMAZING performance(and the bottle of course lol), like seriously this stuff is potent. I kept getting whiffs of it through out the day while walking. Sticks to clothes forever

Tjek

In the opening, it's a synthetic mess. The dry down an incredible basket full of fruits, i oversprayed it the first time i was wearing it. 5 sprays and it completely filled the room to the point, where we needed to open the window.

SmellMasterBoss

Love it smells like a sweet fruit basket, very citrucy. Kinda smells like the school bathrooms with no poop note, but it actually smells good.

Pwaladdi

I have to admit this grew on me. It was a blind buy for me. I initially hated the fragrance but that was because I didn’t understand it took a while. Now I love it and will definitely replace it when this one finishes. Still hate the opening notes. But love everything else after an hour.

Jacklyn's Perfumery

Wow I just tried a sample of this and realized I had this scent already. This is Lataffa's Confidential Private Gold & Bade Al Oud Honor & Glory mixed in one fragrance. So obviously they duped this a lot. It's really pretty, musky and fruity all at once. I love it but since I already have the scent I don't need this one anymore as my dupes are pretty close and I like how those are separate aspects of the fragrance and they last long as well..especially Honor & Glory. It's a pineapple passionfruit mixed with apples along with musks. But I mostly get the pineapple and passionfruit.

Adzyfta

okay boys gotta gatekeep this one at all costs, so as of this moment im outside of my science class not being allowed to actually be in there bc this stuf is NUCLEAR to an extent that my teacher told me that after i had left the class the next class could still smell me. so in conclusion keep low on the trigger as you can kill someone XD. 10/10 for sure

Dvntex_

I can pretty understand both sides (lovers and haters) of the community regarding this fragrance. It feels, that there is some recent trend in perfumery, which people in majority seem to love. I have probably found one of these small secrets of Erba Pura's formula, now I probably can understand the concept slightly better.

I hate the notes' lists in perfumes by the way. No offend, but this is usually such a bullsh*t. It is simply the way of earning money. It makes us as consumers so blindly trustful, that we manage to purchase an expensive product, thinking it really smells like description says. No, cosmetic industry doesn't work like this. It's quite brutal sometimes.

Xerjoff Erba Pura

I can't be more precise than the brand, because I don't work for them haha, however, I would say it is an amber monstrum rather than a light clean musk formula. It is so much focused on very expansive Amber aroma-chemicals like Norlimbanol. I pick up it straight away, these raw materials help to create this potent projection of the formula.

Norlimbanol is a monstrous aroma-chemical from amber family, that owns an atomic power being diluted to 1%.
Perfumers recommend to work with this is such dilution, because it can easily dominate the formula. It is extremely diffusive, very sweet, makes nose blindness very quickly, it's glowing, warm and owns some certain cleanness I would say. It can give some 'smoke like' or ash like' feel in very high concentrations. I can tell subjectively, that it owns some fruity quality in the smell. I heard, that Norlimbanol can make a really good job in fruity formulas and in fruit accords' constructions. I have 5g of it at home. I am going to dilute this to 1% and use it in some minimal amounts to modify my simple amber accord. When I smelled this for the first time, I reminded myself about Erba Pura immediately.

It is a monstrous Amber fragrance with fruit accord and some naturals. I think, these sort of ambers were handled really well by perfumer. A really nice tropical fruit accord though. Potentially some natural citrus raw materials were used to support the opening, but this artificial amber character still dominates slightly from the start to finish. I think, that the core of the fragrance is this interesting fruit accord together with Norlimbanol, Timberol, Ambermax, Ambroxan, amber Z11 10 MIP, maybe some sandalwood raw materials like (Javanol, Sandalore) and certain high concentrations of Musks, like Galaxolide, Ambrettolide, Muscone which give this thick, heavy and smooth texture and smooth this formula out.

It smells rich and smooth, slightly artificial, very sweet, glowing, owns a sparkling quality and intense tropical fruity olfactive profile. Quite a gourmand smell, delicious and also elegant. If you really like fruity-ambers, it can probably be something really for you. It elevates fruity-amber feminine designer perfumery to another level. It is well constructed, niche perfumery. In my opinion, it can be worn all year round, because of its intensity. For certain personalities and certain taste. Leaning more on feminine side, I think.

I appreciate the way it was made and perfumer's craft, but I would never purchase and wear this. Not for me at all.

gavin_yek

it is a great cologne but it does lean more feminine but girls do like the smell. It reminds me being in a tropical place

Ivan_Sully

Wore it a couple of times, do not like it at all. Every time I smell it reminds me of shampoo but very cheap shampoo where is is very chemically and it burns my nose. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Deliza1997

Some may call it old school, but for me it is a timeless scent. The opening is very citrusy, in the dry down it becomes very fruity musky scent (not animalic musky). Smells Like fresh fruit bucket.
The projection and longevity is insane. It will last unitill you wash your clothes. I think it is a pretty safe blind buy and anyone can wear this anywhere.

brcamp13

This is pretty simply fruit. But with extreme projection and longevity. I enjoy smelling the atomizer of my decant every once in a while, but it becomes annoying wearing it as after a couple hours I wish it would just go away.

Salman_ss

Powerful beast mode fragrance than fill rooms and last +15h, unisexe and compliment getter ,little synthetic but its not that much, however you should try samples before buying

cats_eye

LIME, lemons, bergamot, maybe some passionfruit and a ton of amber and musk! You must love musk in order to enjoy this fragrance. It's MUSKY! Lasts until you wash your garments.

Jagjag

This is nice and an easy wear. It is indeed fruity but, not cloying so. I fear my wife and daughters are not going to leave this alone. It lasts long.

darwin_99

This feels like the industry plant of fragrances. It's neither good nor exciting or surprising at all. It's not horrendous by any means, but it is a bit overbearing and it doesn't help that it has become THE TikTok fragrance for guys, so now you smell it on everyone. To me, the hype is a bit unwarranted. If you like synthetic fruity-sweet and non-complex perfumes, or you just want to fill a room with your stench, this might be the one for you!

Kyer

Wow, just wow.

This smells like a bucket full of mangoes and papayas with a little bit of sweet orange in there, but the musk gives it a curious twist that makes it not overwhelmingly sweet but more powdery, airy and wooly feeling.

One would expect this to smell extremely sweet but it isn’t, like I said, the musk gives it an interesting twist to this and it all works out perfect together, it does lean way more feminine than masculine but a man could perfectly wear this, but if you’re a man that wants to give Bruce Wayne or Aquaman vibes this is definitely not it lol.
This scent is completely outstanding and I love smelling this from a tester strip or spraying it in my hand every now and then, but I do have to say that I do get tired of it after a while since it’s pretty linear and as man that’s not trying to be Bruce Wayne but neither look like I’m hiding on a closet waiting to come out, this is difficult for me to use, but still, I absolutely LOVE this smell so I can’t rate it badly just because of that.

Nocciola23

With a name like Erba pura, you'd be forgiven for thinking this would be crisp and green. It's not.
It's a very fruity, sweet but refreshing scent.

It does feel a bit dated. Like 90s impulse body sprays or Herbal essences shampoo.

I don't hate this, but I don't love it either. It's a meh 6/10 for me.

Rmgxi

sickly sweet and fruity synethic mess of a fragrance, cant stand smelling this

Hs6049

Synthetic mess. 2/10

Sexy tropical cocktail fun…
Smells delicious, boozy, fruity, light creamy, gives me a sensation of having a tropical fruity cocktail with vanilla cream on top, If you like fruity, 90s ears 00’s fruity body sprays this is an adult higher end version of it, will last all day until the next day and everyone from across the block will smell this on you, not to be over sprayed, 2-3 max, not a blind buy, fairy unisex imo smells very different on men vs women, on men the musky notes smell much more pronounced, on women I get more floral and fruity notes, so I feel like blends with your chemistry and becomes your unique scent on your skin, very potent very power, I can’t do this all the time just when I’m in the mood to feel delicious and devoured. Longevity 10/10 silliage 10/10 scent 7/10

Faeriecoma

No, just no. It smells like this should be a car air freshener in the 2000’s. it’s so potent nothing about it smells natural it smells like a biohazard. There’s a strong ammonia hair dye smell to it. I wish I liked it coz Kathleen lights raved about it on TikTok. Reminds me of bad parties I’ve been to where someone is using cheap perfume.

Diargo

I love it you get strong fruity smell and it lasts very good once i did 6 sprays and many people smelled it on me its strong , no alcohol smell at the start just fruits , if you love fruity fregrances this is the one

jlz076

dont get fooled by your initial sniff of this fragrance. its massive sillage gets overbearing FAST, and the sweetness gets super irritating too. theres just too much going on in the original erba pura, the gold is much better formulated would recommend getting that if you're going to drop a few hundred of a xerjoff.

Robusto

Woof!!! Don't quite know where to begin with this one! I originally picked up a decant of this for my wife because she wanted something new. She's not into the feminine perfumes or anything floral so I got her Erba Pura....but only a decant (3ml). She's a heavy sprayer and sprays over her body before she puts on her clothes. I thought she just about emptied the 3ml decant on her body it was so strong! She promised me she only put on 4-5 sprays! It was a fruity nuclear bomb! Nuclear projection and longevity......like 24+ hours.

I actually liked what I was smelling so I decided to buy her a bottle. Not gonna lie.....I wear this quite often, too! I only put on 1-2 sprays and call it a day. I've worn this to just about every occasion, including work.

The fruits/vanilla/musk are very potent but are blended quite well. Unisex but leans a smidge feminine. Longevity is forever and so is the siliage....so be careful on the sprays. This is one fragrance I do not spray on my clothes because it's a pain to wash out.

Cheers!

haynesar

Beastmode fruity fragrance ! Opens with tropical fruits and dries down to musky vanilla. I get the womans shampoo comparison but I still love it
Projects and lasts like a beast, one spray is more than enough

MySkin

The point here is that there are quite a lot of other fragrances that pull this same combo of scents in a better, milder, more pleasant way...and are way cheaper!
And, no, they are not dupes because they were on the market before Erba pura.

Shanty36

I’m still working through a sample but I was shocked at how synthetic the “fruits” smelled in this, given the price and hype. I really liked the opening as it was fresher with the citrus notes but the mid is pretty gross to me (peak synthetic indistinct sweet fruity notes) and the dry down is pretty pleasant as a somewhat deep-ish sweet musk. It’s a beast of a performer but that mid period just kills this for me. I also have a sample of erba gold where the fruit is much less fake smelling so will go with that if I end up purchasing an erba at all. Do not blind buy… not at that price.

Toji glazer

smells like a cheap fruit candy mess or like something that girl in class would spray alot its ok 6.5/10

SmellMyCheese

Sold this one on a while ago, far too synthetic imho.

Piercing musky citrus that lasts forever is the quick and kind description.

JJ2137

Had an opportunity to try a whole shelf of Xerjoff fragrances, and among sea of mediocrity this one with small handful of others really stood out, in a good way, so Im not sure whats going on with the rating? I found it super pleasant, and I think men could also rock this. That was my first contact with this DNA though.

matchagpo

friend claims it

“invaded his nostrils”
“smells like it’s punching him in the face”

there is a general aura and threshold of the smell, will overpower any other cologne around

10/10 i fucking reek of fruitiness

kaziqta

Smelled it today... Disgusting synthetics, just no, this is bad. How can people spend so much money kn that thing?!

raj.kanaj

Leans a tad too Feminine
For the Aussies out there, reminds me of Strawberry Hubba Bubba Chewing gum.
Lasts long

angel_milk

After wearing it for a couple of days, I realized that it surprisingly reminds me of Amour by Kenzo which I had back in 2008 :) a very weird resemblance indeed but here it is ))) Anyway - the scent is beautiful and feminine, it's fresh at the beginning and turns into a sweety and fruity path later on. Long-lasting, cozy, comfortable.

ostelmach.1

Got a sample of this on twisted lily. There's got to be some hidden spice that all xerjoff fragrances has that is not listed in the notes. To me personally it is off putting. Otherwise I like the fruitiness of this fragrance so much. But not for the price.

3li

Love this, creamy and fruity, beast mode fragrance. I get 8 hours easily with solid projection.

bonvivantblonde

While opinions may vary, I personally adore this divisive perfume!

Its alluring combination of sexiness, fruity sweetness, and excellent projection make it a one of a kind in my collection. The longevity of this perfume is truly remarkable, especially when applied on well-moisturized skin. It creates an enchanting aura that accompanies you everywhere you walk, leaving a delightful and lingering presence. A versatile year-round fragrance, I've found out that a little sprinkle of this sexy elixir goes a long way, making a single bottle last me about 2 years.

hussrahal

It is one of those scents that undeniably smells good and I can appreciate it but I would never wear it because it gets annoying after 10 minutes.

cats_eye

Shadowmaster123 Naxos is the most normal of the three. Erba Pura is quite unique. It can come across as musky and sharp. I like it but some don't. I love Black Orchid too. I like woodsy musky scents.. I'd get samples of them first.

Danny_Doyle7

Perhaps it just work with my skin chemistry, but this is absolutely nauseating. Smells like a very harsh weed killer.

MySkin

Nothing special.
And it is a scent theme overwhelmingly exploited by way too many others. Before and after Xerjoff.
I'd rather smell it on a man (more forgivable) but it won't make my knees shake. For sure.

ohmy222

I got a few sprays from Neiman Marcus and fell in love. It was such a beautiful and fruity scent. Leans feminine but smelt like a king with this. I thought is was such a masterpiece I almost turned around and bought it. I get home and my wife said it was the most god awful fragrance I have ever worn. I was barely through the door. Her friend said the same thing. So bizarre. Since I sleep with her, i never even got a decant.

alphasigma223

fills rooms hours after spraying, despite what niche snobs may say, this is a nuclear warhead of a fragrance

Flamingophil

I blind brought this and when I first used it I didn't like it smelt to synthetic, but each time I use it now it just seems to smell better and better,it seems to take me back to the 90s when I'd go to my mates house and his sister or mum had just washed their hair and had it up in a towel drying but you could just strongly smell the shampoo/conditioner.That's one of the things I love about fragrances they just seem to take me back to happy places in my life that I remember with certain scents. The bottles beautiful and stands out more than every other in my collection. To me it's worth the money and hype and will defo be repurchasing when this bottle runs out

KaanE

This fragrance as many people said is a very synthetic fruity scent however it does last really long and project really well.Though I still do believe that the hype around this frangrance is not deserved and I also believe that this scent is very feminine and I would not recommend this to people who prefer masculine fragrances or anyone who does not like wearing feminine fragrances as this is very feminine

SpectralScents

I’m literally dying laughing at these reviews because all of the absolutely absurd descriptions are making me want a sample of this, desperately!😭

midget11

just dropping by again to remind everyone this stinks 😍 the sweaty bus review real af and no there is nothing remotely seductive about the fruitiness here

ecwestb

This seems to be a very divisive perfume! My husband picked this out for me as a Christmas gift and I love it! It's sexy, fruity, sweet, and projects very nicely. I find that it lasts quite a while on my skin (as long as I'm well moisturized) and layers nicely with some of my other scents as well. I think this could be a year-round scent, not just a summer scent, since the citruses are very prominent and I associate citrus with winter. Overall lovely scent and I can't wait to see how it performs in the warmer weather!

Frafrea3848

Fucking horrible

kebabish

Extraordinary fragrance,
It sits well on my skin so this might be a bit biased. This fragrance is such a hit or miss, I personally love the seductive fruitiness and the projection is amazing.
9.5/10

Basta Perfume

here is the honest monkey explanation for people who really wanna know what it smells like.
its not that fruity, smells like a women shampoo (i swear trust me on this)
overall:
scent 7/10
longevity: idk i just got it
sillage: idk i just got it

im not saying its bad it has a decent fruity smell I would prefer the smell of aventus fruityness tho.

heygilad

I have opened full bottle. If you interested to swap or buy it pm me

Amelio77

I smell like a girll but in a good way and i like it ? :D damn i dont care its very seductive to me fruity sweet ... and the drydown its very good .. longevity is crazy ... and i wore it in cold day and it was perfect and could smell it all the time

christinemarrie

this fragrance has me completely conflicted. when sprayed on test paper, it smells DIVINE. the most beautiful tropical fruit punch. but on the skin the dry down is awful, especially if i come into contact with water or sweat. it's turns into the most pungent spicy musk and it's repulsive. i can't wear this fragrance in Australian summer because if i get sweaty, the fragrance goes off but it's such a summer fragrance so what's the point?

rasteria

The ambroxan in this is so aggressive, it reminded me of Hindu Kush by Mancera. Not a pleasant surprise.

Sarra816

This one needs to be tested on the skin before purchasing. It is a hit or miss for most people. On my skin it is a beast of a fragrance - very bright musky citrus. I wear it through the seasons, ironically it performs better for me in the cooler seasons but it is stunning for both day and night.
It also has remarkable longevity and projection. It is pleasant and noticeable. Wore it once to my job when I underestimated its projection and my coworker told me they could smell my scent trail before I entered the room.
The staying power is impressive and made its way to be one of my favorites.
I will miss the velvet bottles though.

selenika

i usually get along with ''offensive'' scents but this one is way too offensive for my nose that it gives me a migraine. i find it pretty masculine, gave the sample i had to my brother.

AleksOud

The drydown on my skin turns into a nasty nauseating smell that is hard to scrub off.

It starts like a nice cashmeran fragrance with sweet fruit. Apparently Black Afgano is supposed to smell like hashish. Here the drydown smells like that note multiplied by 100. I disliked fragrances before for clashing notes or a lack of blending but no scent before made me sick like that one.

JusttheFactsMan

#497 in my "Tour de Fragrance"

This batch was produced in July of 2023. No need to wax all lyrical over this very common scent profile. I get some similarity to Al Haramain Amber Oud Gold, but of the cheapies it's closer to Bharara King, I have both the Amber Oud and Bharara, and like Erba Pura, they're pretty run-of the mill and not something I regularly pick up off the shelf. I mean it's fine, but we've all probably got multiple fragrances on hand that smell so close to this it hardly matters which we reach for, and for that reason we just don't use them that often.

I purchased this in a factory sprayette from Twisted Lily and won't bother getting a bottle of this. I paid like $50 for the Bharara, maybe $40 for the Amber Oud Gold, and the difference between those scents and an $80 bottle of Kierke is not worth it to me, let alone $175 for Erba Pura just to get a pretty bottle. Though I'm on the watch for a Kierke tester and if I can get one in the $65 range I'll go for it. I suspect the 3.73 rating for Erba Pura (which usually means the scent is wretched, which to me this is certainly not) is almost entirely because scents like this are widely available for cheap. It's versatile and safe, won't offend anyone in the carpool, but I don't think anyone will be intrigued or impressed by it. I'm certainly not.

gabigen4ik

This triggers my migraine instantly :/ it is too cloying

AlexandraRoseD

Smells very synthetic.
Fruity bubble gum scent.
Not something I would want to wear.

alexandris

I personally like Kirke better than this, it is more fizzy and blended more successfully. Yet, quality, longevity and sillage is really high. Gold standard for rich people who are new into perfumery I guess.

AttentionSpann

Erba Pura is an exceptional fragrance that captures the essence of vibrant, fresh, and seductive scents. It’s a delightful blend of juicy fruits, aromatic flowers, and subtle sweet notes. The top notes feature tangy fruits like orange, lemon, and bergamot, which provide a zesty and invigorating opening.

As the fragrance settles, you'll notice the heart notes of romantic jasmine and luscious strawberry. These floral and fruity accords create a beautifully balanced and charming aroma.

What makes Erba Pura truly remarkable is its longevity and projection. It has impressive staying power, lasting throughout the day without fading. Its projection is pleasant and noticeable without being overpowering, making it suitable for any occasion.

Overall, Erba Pura is a stunning fragrance that combines the freshness of citrus fruits with the sweetness of florals, resulting in an enchanting and long-lasting scent. It's perfect for those who appreciate a versatile fragrance that can be worn both day and night.

JoshGiddey125

Love this, lot of fruitiness very unisex fragrance and projection and longevity is insane, 24 hour longevity and 12+ hours of projection

Moonshine_Strawberries

My first impression of this has been interesting.
Initially, it reminded me of Ariana Grande God Is A Woman. This is probably in part because I just haven’t tried a lot of fruity-musky scents, because they’re definitely not the same. But similar enough that I don’t need both, and definitely like God Is A Woman better anyway.

Then it seemed like everything but the vanilla evaporated really fast and then it was plain.

The next day, though I have to touch my nose to my skin, it’s more balanced with the musk. It’s too bad no one else would ever be able to smell this phase on me. It’s what I hoped Rosendo Mateau would be - a very pretty, balanced, natural and not syrupy vanilla-musk.

heavenlyglasses

This is the most dreadful scent I've had the misfortune of smelling. Nothing redeeming, nothing acceptable.

annedromeda

The citrus notes that came in in the middle and soon after dry down were beautiful, kind of all blended together into a sort of passionfruit scent, but before and after all that? No good :( I get nothing other than ammonia singing my nose hairs. I couldn't fathom all of the cons listed and voted on above given the fragrances' popularity online but I absolutely get it now (I also had a similar reaction to BR540 and Instant Crush, just physical repulsion in the top and base notes with whispers of something else in between). Anyone that's walked past a pig pen knows the feeling, not so much a smell but a visceral reaction of your olfactory senses telling you to not inhale any more, just a kind of chemical burn. Musk dialed up to the max, absolutely nothing else. I wanted to love this, and was so excited to try, and there are definitely some lovely notes in there in the middle but I just don't think my nose is programmed to respond well to these kinds of scents.

Ladylannae

Being easily influenced and a follower new to the realm of niche fragrance I bought a 5ml bottle of this. It's very fruity and pleasant but not a ride or die scent for me. It's been a nice ride on the hype train but I'm off at the next stop. I'll enjoy wearing the rest of this bottle but the pice point vs what I get from it doesn't win me or my wallet over.

I look forward to smelling more from the house of Xerjoff!

diastopnotes

i have no clue as to why people love and swear by this fragrance… saying that it smells sooo expensive… the most accurate way that i can describe this scent is sweaty fruits. and the SWEAT is more prominent than the fruits. it smells like you haven’t showered for a week and decided to spray some perfume on to mask your odor. it also smells like a bus does if that tells you anything. i’ve sprayed it on skin three times and also made my mom try it and let me tell you it smells even WORSE when it sits on your skin. i patiently waited for the drydown to be better but it’s significantly worse. my mom thinks the same thing as me so it’s not just my nose and also, i ordered my sample kit from the xerjoff website so it’s definitely not fake. this fragrance is criminally overrated and SO overpriced.. like it doesn’t make sense why ANYONE would want to smell like this. i’m writing my review 3 months after my purchase cause i wanted to make sure that it didn’t need to macerate or something.. but yeah, this ain’t the case so definitely save your money or at least DON’T BLIND BUY THIS.

ExclusiveApe

Very overhyped on TikTok by dudes, but to me, this is in no way meant for men. This is a 100% female fragrance. Smells great on my wife as a perfume, just not on me. Very fruity and ambery and super strong.

J0Vaughn

Delicious in a bottle. The citrus combo is mouthwatering and sweet. I love the initial citrus bomb that dries down with a beautiful amber ending. If you want a delightful pairing try Bond 9 NoMad you won’t be sorry!!!

chri5tin3

After purchasing both Ana Abiyedh and Amber Oud Gold, and sampling Kirke, I finally caved and bought Erba Pura. This thing is just in another league.

While the other fragrances share similarities to Erba Pura, they still left a lot to be desired in terms of scent (AOG and Kirke) and performance (AA).

Erba Pura opens with sparkling fruits and develops into a smooth, creamy, musky blend that's just to die for. I've never been a fan of fruity fragrances and this DNA is the only one I can tolerate.

I can see how it would turn synthetic on some people but luckily it never went in that route on me. I can also see why some people compare it to Britney Spears Fantasy. It really does smell like the kiwi opening of Fantasy but less brash and less gourmand.

Erba Pura actually isn't as strong as people made it out to be, it stuck to my skin and didn't project like I thought it would. I think it might need to macerate for a while before I can judge it's performance. All in all, a very successful purchase.

Eddie2082

This is too similar to Tiziana Terenzi’s Kirke at least for the first 2 hours with nuance differences in the dry down. It’s a lovely fruit basket as everyone is saying. It is long lasting and smells really good with beastly projection so don’t overspray. Perfect for bar or clubbing. Price wise I’d go with Kirke.

Ingridkn

Smells and performs identical to amber oud gold. I was hoping this would have a more luxurious feel to it, but it really doesn’t. Save your money!

DSV03

I regret buying this. Tested it once and liked it but when barely sprayed once out the bottle it was tooooo strong and synthetic like. Different from the small sample I tried. Very musky that it just doesn’t smell good once dried down. Have a full presentation 100ml sprayed once for trade.

twoski

To my nose, this fragrance is so shampooey. There's a slight citrus nuance to it but i mostly get this airy, musky nondescript fruit scent that can best be described as some kind of generic fruity shampoo.

It smells entirely synthetic to my nose, i definitely would not pay Xerjoff prices for something like this. It smells like a 40 dollar fragrance you'd expect from one of the various clone houses.

Some people say this fragrance is offensive since it's so powerful, but honestly it's so bland as to be underwhelming, even if it were to fill a room. If i smelled this on someone in an elevator i'd just think they got out of the shower and their hair still stinks of shampoo.

Not necessarily a bad scent if a musky, ambiguous fruit blend is something you want to smell like. Leans a bit femme to my nose.

n.ben885

I usually don't like fruity scents but this one is WOW. The opening is quite citrusy I get notes of bergamot and a hint of fruitiness from like a juicy mango. About 5-10 minutes later it smells very fruity I would even say it smells like shampoo or bath and body works hand sanitizer (but in a good way). And for me the best thing about the perfume is the amber and muskiness that is in here. It gives it a bit of "spice" makes it smell very woody and put together. I will say though that this can be very polarizing and strong so be careful. Overall great summer scent 9/10 **Edit** I might be the only one but this smells like Aventus Creed For Her and Imperial Valley Gissah

mekanazekana

I received 3 sample bottles and decide to give it a try. At first I was absolutely in love, but after 20min no more citrus scent, only wood, strong sharp woody scent that doesn't want to go away. I washed my hair, but I still could smell it in my hair, and on my clothes it stayed very long, even after 2 machine washes. So eternal. This scent don't want to let you go, never ever... It's so shame that citrus notes are weak, I wish they last longer, then I'll love Erba pura too

roh.ans

I love this fragrance, leans a bit feminine but it's so easy to pull off on a man. Performance and smell are incredible, but both my mom and sister say it smells IDENTICAL to rubbing alcohol. Every time I put some on, they say I smell like rubbing alcohol, although I can't smell it at all

Irvdaman15$

This is very good.
Fruity sweet, musky vanilla Drydown. 9.5/10
As much as people like to say this for many hyped or new fragrances , this one on does smell similar to amber gold edition by al haramain, but this one is much more refined.
Both have pulled compliments from not just women, but men also say that it just smells too nice in the air.
Only thing I'd advice for either this or amber gold is don't overspray in the summer or even winter !. The batches I have are ridiculously projecting and last longer than most of my other fragrances and can be overbearing for some weak nostrils.

Overall still think this should be rated higher. And men should not be afraid to smell this fruity, its honestly so smooth in the drydown you'd forget about that initial sweetness that might have made you hate this fragrance too early.

Chinndog

I never thought i’d wear something this intensely bright and sweet, but it’s perfect for me. It walks the border of being almost too cloying, but never crosses it. It doesn’t give me a headache like sweet vanilla fragrances do. It’s a lot but never too much, and I love it for that.

This is perfectly unisex, guys who class this as too feminine have fragile egos :)

dabeyondobsessedemperor

Simply put, it's very, very fruity, somewhat tropical as well. Almost synthetically so, honestly, and while that's not a bad thing, it's as if you had asked AI to generate a scent of fruits for you and Erba Pura was the result. It's also got a distinct note that's evocative of perfume some high school girls used to spray on at their lockers.
I've noticed many people love to use it in the summer, and given the utter fruitiness of the fragrance, as well as the aquatic teal color of the bottle, I get it. But I feel like if I wear this in the summer, the density of fruit notes would come off as cloying and possibly even spoiled, and yet it feels too light to pull off in the winter. That, as well as the fact that the direction of the scent profile is quite linear and doesn't really explore much else other than a blast of various fruit notes (at least on my skin), has ultimately ceased my desire to own a full bottle.
HOWEVER, I will say that it is a top-tier layering fragrance, and depending on what you choose to mix it with, the fruits are brought out in an equally expressive yet much more refined way. For instance, I layered my sample size of Erba Pura with a few sprays of L'Eau d'Hiver by Frederic Malle, and the frosty, frigid vibe helped to cool down the fruity Erba Pura and turn the vibe refreshing, enhancing on the otherwise subtle tropical aura it brings.
Overall, Erba Pura is definitely polarizing, so if you're thinking of buying it because of how popular it's been getting on social media lately, I highly recommend you test it out first - either order a sample, or go to your local Neiman's and try it out, and confirm that you like it before proceeding with your purchase. Now, I don't think this particular fragrance is for me, but then again I haven't used it too much, so perhaps I haven't given it a fair shake. I'll be updating this review when I finish my sample in the warmer weather again.

Shawn330

Beautiful tropical fruits and glittery musks. This is fluffy and powdery from the amber! Last and projects for hours!!! Reminds me of sunny delight in the best way possible. This perfume takes you on a tropical ride; and it never gets old! True fruity masterpiece to me. This perfume was also made for the LGBTQ community, and it’s made by Chris Maurice… doesn’t get much better. It’s like drag night in full effect. Big, bold, and loud
