Mon Paris Eau de Toilette by Yves Saint Laurent is a Chypre Fruity fragrance for women. Mon Paris Eau de Toilette was launched in 2017. Mon Paris Eau de Toilette was created by Olivier Cresp, Harry Fremont and Dora Baghriche. Top notes are Raspberry, Blackberry, Pink Pepper and Bergamot; middle notes are Peony, Jasmine Sambac, Datura and Orange Blossom; base notes are White Musk, Patchouli, Cashmeran and Ambroxan.

The fragrance is announced as a "plumetes" version of the original, light and airy. "Plummets", drawing meaning from the French word for feather, is a fine and lightweight fabric woven with dots or figures on a plain background, having a feather or embroidered effect.

Mon Paris Eau de Toilette retains the "white chypre" olfactory signature of the original. Intoxicating datura flower that ruled the EDP edition becomes more airy in the new version, with its top notes mixing bergamot, blackberry, raspberry and pink pepper. The floral heart includes notes of datura, white peony, sambac jasmine and orange blossom. The base consists of patchouli from Guatemala, synthetic cashmere, ambrox and white musk. Like the original, the Eau de Toilette is also developed by the perfume trio of Olivier Cresp, Harry Fremont and Dora Baghriche.

The bottle retains its design of multi-faceted massive glass enhanced by a lavallière with a plumetes finish, knotted at the top. The ribbon is softer, designed from a fishnet mesh. The fragrance is available as a 30, 50 and 90 ml Eau de Toilette.

Peaches&Cream

Raspberry, floral and patchouli fragrant. I get all three notes then the rest of the hours I get this prominent note which I think is the Datura, it lasts the entire day for a EDT. Very feminine and girly, can be worn to the office, girls day out or to brunch.

JaedaSegol

Got this as a gift. Smells good. Makes me sneeze.

V_rose29

I found a bottle of the EDT for a really good price and I can honestly say I love it, really nice light fruity sweet floral , the EDP version unfortunately gives me a really bad headache and the patchouli is to heavy for me. I’m glad I brought the EDT it’s more wearable for me as I love fruity floral fragrances.
The patchouli in this I cannot really smell it at all which is good for me, I wore this to work and it lasted very well probably good 6 hours before it started to settle down to more of a skin scent by the time that happened I was nearly done with work anyway so it didn’t bother me at all. Definitely recommend if you thought the original was too heavy and wanted something little lighter.

LuckyMommy

I use to own the edp version of Mon Paris and I really loved it, now I got my hands on the edt and I love it just as much. They are very similar, both are sweet, fruity, juicy and fresh and has that patchouli in them that makes them smell so good and last trough out the day. The edp is a bit stronger though, and the patchouli is heavier so I do think I prefer the edt, it's softer with more musk and sits like a beautiful veil around you.

canabena

My new favourite ! I already adore sweet musky scents and this right here has done it for me. Its so elegantly soft and sweet. To me its very reminiscent of flowerbomb. Its Sweet, musky, girly, ultra feminine but also sexy. This is a forever fragrance one that I will always keep in my collection.

aspirina

Well, it seems I just forgot I had this scent. It might have been unused for at least 2-3 years. I get a strawberry overdose, followed by peony and very soft musk and woody notes. The patch is very mild. It reminds me of a few VS scents. I guess I will use it for going to the park and running some errands...maybe to the gym? it is very pretty, but oh so generic... I guess nobody will be offended by this scent. Probably you don't need it, I mean If you are fragrance collector I bet you have at least 2-3 scents that smell like this. Nobody will notice when it gets discontinued. Kind of sad.

AshBud

Tried this as a sampler and I'm honestly not too sure what notes I'm getting! Its a sweet floral, a tad bit of citrus, but almost reminds me of a floor cleaner. Its not terrible, and I think it fits its own crowd, but its not for me. I felt the same with My Burberry Blush and others love that too, so maybe its just my sniffer!
EDIT: My husband says he could smell it as soon as I walked in the room and loved it. Says it smells like strawberries to him. This was from one spray on my wrist. Too funny!

Sheree472

I just purchased this fragrance and im in love, its so fruity and fresh. I was expecting for a EDT it would last 3-5 hours. But, no first 5 hours the silage was beautiful and strong by 6- 10hrs it was a skin scent. I'm so happy to have this in my collection. If the EDP was too strong , this scent is for you. I have both the but wish I purchased the EDT

Yessamin

Inspired by the city of love, this EDT exudes red berry and pear, Datura flower and white musk.

Jasmine Joy

Tried this at Sephora today. All I can say is the bottle is gorgeous, beautifully sweet and fruity scent, lasts longer than I expected with very good sillage and projection. Overall, I love it very much so much so that my husband got it for me for our anniversary this month.

supergirl9412

I liked this on first spray. The berries were very bright and played well with the florals, but the florals just grew and grew. I see that peony is ranked as the prominent floral note, but it’s not the main note on my skin. I always associate peony with a certain lightness .. this felt very heavy. I get some jasmine, but I think a lot of the heaviness is coming from the datura and musky cashmeran.

I blind bought this and will be returning.

AriaLennon

A fruity fragrance that is superbly charming in an adorable bottle. The opening is fruity with a strong scent of raspberry and then you have the smoky patchouli which I love. I don't know why but I like almost every perfume that includes patchouli, it just gives it the sweet, woody and earthy feeling. In addition, it has some nice, soft, sweet and floral vibes which makes me love it even more :)

Estela B

I just bought this. I know is not a remarkable perfume, but I wanted a perfume that smelled like something you buy during a vacation, and that is exactly how it smells for me and I like it just because of that. The glass is beautiful, I just liked it.

linguinelimone

I know this is meant to be a youthful fragrance - and I like youthful! - but the berry opening is giving kids shampoo. As the berries fade and the florals come out, it reminds me of Soap & Glory's original pink scent. This is what I'd expect from a drugstore/celebrity fragrance.

If you like the aforementioned S&G scent then you might like this, but I'm not sure it's worth paying the YSL price tag.

Florind

Top - strawberry + orange + extrait of sweetness
Middle - variety of sweetness
Base - irritating (cashmeran , ambroxan?)

I'd fallen in love with YSL parfums many times, but not this time.
Name - Mon Paris is the other's Paris, not Paris of mine.

Liene

Musky peony and patchouli perfume. Rather light and airy as the musk is very clean (or white). Enough grounded not to be juvenile, still young at heart. Not extremely original, but well executed – rather balanced composition, decent staying power up to six hours and moderate sillage.
There are some berries (mostly blackberries), which adds to peony sweetness and some jasmine and datura for that intoxicating want-to-sniff-it-again-but-its-gone vibe. The very late drydown with cashmeran gets fuzzy and grounds the musk on the skin. Compared to the original, in the EDT the sparkling berry sweetness is changed to sweet peony dominance. I still enjoy it, but prefer the original.
Easy reach for peony lovers, who don’t mind patchouli and appreciate classy vibe it gives.

mangokaitlyn23

My favourite fragrance, its very juicy, fun, and also has a classy element to it. At first I did not like it as I found that the patchouli was very strong, but overtime I pick up more berries and now thats all I smell. The only problem is that it does not last maybe 2 hours? I'll have to pick up the EDP to see if thats better.

clads

I really like how this smells on paper. Very fruity berry opening that balances out once the florals make their entrance. The musk and patchouli base never take over so overall it smells fruity sweet and quite youthful. On paper it’s a mass-appealing fruity-floral. Hard to hate but I can see why people might call it generic. BUT... on my skin it’s just musk on musk on patchouli with some floral residue. The top notes lasted for like... 20~30 minutes before all traces of fruit vanished. For some reason my skin really amplifies the musk.

Swedelish

Are we sure there's no strawberry in this? If not, well the bergamot is doing its job at keeping the raspberry and blackberry tart and juicy.

It opens sweet like candy, in a sheerer way. It isn't overpowering or sickly. I was initially worried that it would have no guts. My concern upon initial wearing was that it was reminding me of my cheap BCBG Max Azria or any other generic sweet perfume that came from Bath & Body Works. I didn't want a celebrity perfume in YSL packaging. I had to wear it thoroughly a few times to find some level of quality. After the upper mix of berries and florals have settled in with the base it becomes less sweet, slightly more elegant and earthy. As a whole it leans more teenager than refined lady, but all is not lost there. At moments it smells a little balsamic, which I appreciate in an otherwise surface-y fruity floral. Without that bit of nuance I'd be tempted to mentally assign it strictly to the - 21 crowd. The edt is more sparkling than the edp, less musky. The edp is woodier as it dries down. Neither smell like the original Miss Dior Cherie to me.

Smells nice for a berry fruity floral, but quality could have been better. I'm in my thirties and I have it so I'll wear it; I can tolerate smelling like a teeny-bopper every so often. Sometimes it's a choice. I like the bottle - Black polka-dotted bow and "YSL" gold plate. It feels classier to hold and use than perhaps it really is.

amandalerey

smells like how the bottle looks, classy, sweet, and girly. this is a safe blind buy because it's quite generic and the notes listed is what it smells like. smells like when you walk into a macy's and all the perfume scents put together, but this has a splash of raspberry. i imagine a young girl from 17-24 wearing this going on a picnic date with her friends or going out in the summer heat to pick strawberries; definitely a springtime and daytime scent. she wears a lot of classy florals, whites, and pinks; her favorite season is spring and loves brunch and chiffon clothing; a hopeless romantic that wants to run through flower fields and cloud watch. balance of fruity and musk, so it gives it an edge, maturity, and classiness. nothing too special but not super generic to where it's forgettable. a perfume I wouldn't wear to make a statement but definitely an easy crowd appealer, not offensive in anyway. it's sweet but not cloying. it's a sweet freshness with depth.

giri-boni

It just smells like... You know.... Something you already have... Smells good... Juicy... Sweet... Very OK for a Victoria's Secret body spray, not OK for YSL

aldinatic

strong bergamot-peper and patchouli-omg

Lovely_D

This perfume captivated me at first sniff. It smells romantic and mesmerizing. That's not to say it hasn't smelled a bit synthetic and harsh at times. However, it performs beautifully in the summer heat. The warm weather really softens its sharp edges and brings out its spell-like quality. The sillage is robust even though it's an edt. With only one spray, my bf was able to smell it from around the corner when he came home (I was in the bedroom and he was in the living room). If this perfume was too strong for you in the colder months, I would try it again when the weather is warm.

alexandradaos

I like this, but not a lot. I bought it on sale for 20-something GBP for 50mL, but I would never pay full price for a bottle.

The opening of this is all rasperry, citrus and pepper. It is extremely fresh, no hint of sickening sweetness and nothing sugary in it, which is actually quite a good point. So many perfumes nowadays are sweet-vanilla-caramel something - my partner always comments how 90% of the time I smell like warm/burnt sugar. Mon Paris does not fit in that category.

After the initial notes soften, you get peppery rose, and a lot of it. It's that garden rose variety, smelling green with hints of honey, rather than any sort of sophisticated, prize-winning variety. The notes on this say peony, but I think it leans more towards roses to my nose. Then there's something fizzy and slightly sour, like sparkling wine.

The final dry-down of this is AMAZING though. I initially wanted to give this bottle away, simply because I prefer darker, sweeter and more complex fragrances. But then the morning after I applied this, I could still feel wafts of it in my hair and around my neck. And it was beautiful - it reminded me of newly-opened lipstick smell, powder, rose champagne, roses and something really cozy, without being at all warm.

I think the name is very unfortunate. This has nothing 'Paris' in it. When I think of Paris (at least the good aspects of it), I think of warm lights, busy streets, French bakeries smelling like bread and vanilla, coffee and make-up.

'Mon Paris' is more like raspberry pancakes in your Grandma's rose garden on a sunny, warm, dewy Sunday morning.

Longevity is good, especially for an EDT. Lasts about 4 hours on my wrists, up to 12 hours on my neck area. Lasts forever on hair and clothes. I am not curious enough to try the EDP now, unless that's a whole other fragrance all together, which I very highly doubt.

Chellywellie

Generic powdery/white musky floral. Very safe fragrance for age 35+. It’s nice enough but has no depth or intrigue. Sorry YSL.

I seem to remember liking the EDP much more, but when trying it my husband told me I smelt like his mum. She’s great, and she wears CK Euphoria & Britney Spears Midnight Fantasy which I actually think are ok, but no one wants to be told by their husband that they remind them of their mum... right?

I will try it again someday to see if his opinion has changed. But the EDT is not for me.

Jasmindee

The EDP version if this is definitely sweeter and smoother, and I would buy that one again, but this one? Not so much.

The good points - It's very sweet, sparkling and fresh. A perfect Spring scent. Very clean smelling, almost like an expensive shampoo. It does smell like the original, just a lot weaker with a sort of sour, irritating screechy note that I can't decipher. I don't know... There is just something so bland about this version. It doesn't wow me. I just smell my wrist and go "Hmm, thats nice." And don't think about it again for the rest of the day.

The EDP was a love at first sniff and a total compliment-getter, but this one... Eh. I didn't realize I wasn't buying the EDP version so I'm selling this one on. Boyfriend's verdict was that I smelt like a flowery garden. If that's your thing, then go for it.

flowerbomb81

Youthful, fun, fruity, fresh, light floral are the words that come in mind when I wear this. So easy to throw on. Glad I got the EDT as the florals in here would have given me a headache if they were too heavy. Lovely Spring/Summer scent.

elinavanka

Pretty, girly, fresh and definitely fruity as the notes suggest. Longevity not that great, but then again, it's an eau de toilette.I'm thinking this actually could be a great gift for someone. The bottle is very nice too.

I must say I much prefer the EdP, which is fuller, softer and creamier on me. The EdT is a bit sharp and annoying in comparison. However I see some who prefer the EdT so I am sure that is very individual. I love the EdP very much, the EdT is tolerable but I have not managed to finish the bottle for a year or two. To me the EdP is romantic and versatile, while the EdT is more energetic and sporty, but still too intense and irritating (in my mind) to wear to the gym. The bottle is romantic, not sporty. I'm not sure when to put it on; suppose it has no natural place in my routine.

gucciimars

I really loved this on paper, on my skin it rubs down to fruitiness. I wish I had more of the florals in there. When you first put it on, raspberries really are pronounced. Then beautiful florals, classy vibe. Some sugar also is noted.

This doesn’t last too long and the projection is decent when first put on but just 2 hours later you can only smell it if someone gets close.

I ended up returning this because the dry down it’s just raspberries to me other than the floral.

I wanted more floral in this.

dahrling

Perfectly feminine and beautiful - all the haters just can't stand MP's pure beauty - they want her to be dirty or sexy or quirky or to stand out in the crowd - but MP is a Disney princess, she's pure of heart and smells of love, not of passion or lust. She fits in without trying to, it all comes so naturally to her. The men love her, that's for sure, I've never gotten so many compliments on a perfume before and I've only worn it twice. She's innocent and sweet, graceful and delicate - like most of us aspired to be when we were little. I still hang on to that part of myself, and MP makes me feel like I'm in the fairy-tale I've always wanted to be in.

perfumeglam87

I smell Sarah Jessica Parker NYC, DKNY NY Donna, and Estee Lauder MM Le Rouge, Valentina PINK...save yourself some money. It does smell good though, pretty sweet and fresh. I smell strawberries. Everything is starting to smell the same. Xo

Phantomias

It really pains me to say this about a perfume by YSL, but Mon Paris EdT is nothing special. Too sweet and musky, it seems more celeb than YSL. It even has that nasty harsh note so many cheap perfumes have.

How can a house that has so many beautiful perfumes in its repertoire put something so dull and cheap on the market?

raiza1990

Nice fragrance, but not special. Smells a bit childish, like a celebrity or drugstore scent.
The opening is fruity, later i get a soft musky sweetness. Pleasant, but i am not impressed. I think it is overpriced.

chicagogirl

Well, I bought this and it just arrived lol. It smells like someone drank Mon Paris EDP, ate some pepper and then burped in your face. It's a peppery fruity floral with very distant berry echoes. It reminds me of a lighter, fresher Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming. A nice, safe scent but it lacks the super sweet berry charm and patchouli allure of the EDP. This smells like any safe, boring perfume whereas Mon Paris EDP has a unique, intoxicating quality to it that turns heads and makes people sniff the air, lol.

chicagogirl

Can anyone tell me how similar this is to the EDP? I love the EDP but found a really good price this edt and thinking of blind buying it.

rickyrebarco

I love many YSL perfumes, including Black Opium, but not this one. I gave my spray sample plenty of time on my skin and I have to say it smells pretty dreadful on me. I am initially hit with a giant whack of patchouli that went right up my nose in a most unpleasant way. It took awhile for the patchouli to calm down a bit, but even in the drydown the patchouli is prominent on my skin. I can smell the peony and it is nice, but it is overpowered by very synthetic smelling fruity notes of raspberry especially. The raspberry and blackberry smell like berries that are starting to rot, overly sweet and funky at the same time.

When a giant dose of datura emerges in the drydown, mixed with the patchouli, rotting fruit notes and a final whack of massive musk, this fragrance reaches the disgusting point on my skin. I had to wash it off. I am glad it smells great on other people, but it is definitely not for me.

PricklyAndHot

Almost the same berries fragrance like the original. I prefer the original.

Soofiya

When I tested Mon Paris edt in a perfume shop,I couldn't detect berries so I thought that it's totally different with it's edp sister but now I borrowed my sister's bottle of EDT and can wear it for awhile to know it better.
Now I can pickup lots of raspberry mixed with some bergamot when I first spray it and all in all I find it 90% similar to EDP,still I have to do a side by side test and edit this review.for now I can say that they have the same gene of tart and sweet berries, lovely flowers, clean musk and tamed patchouli but EDP,which I also like a lot is much more intense, sweet and sharper,EDT is lighter and has more of white musk instead of patchouli and for now I think that I prefer it to EDP
Mon Paris edt opens as a pretty, youthful and juicy fruity scent.in this stage florals are very light and nondescript, lurking around this delightful raspberry-bergamot thing but as time passes they try to showup more but they don't succeed as it never becomes flowery enough so that I can call it a floral scent or be able to really pick them up individually, now that I know it's notes,I can find traces of peony and a clean jasmine here but I'm almost sure that I couldn't name them without checking it's pyramid
Drydown is mostly about a powdery, marshmallowy white musk with a slight flowery undertone and some raspberries thrown in it,so if I want to describe Mon Paris edt in a few words I'd say that it's mostly a musky fruity scent,a nice, feminine, easy to like and easy to wear fragrance.one can wear it year round but I'd prefer it in spring and summer.I agree that it has a darling bottle,it also is a darling scent.I don't find anything in common with Black Opium,Poison Girl or Flowerbomb except that these are all my favorites.sillage is more than moderate when first sprayed but it soon calms down.it doesn't last more than 4 hours on me,still I like it

Frejaaa

Love it!
Starts of citrusy but with hints of sweet, fruity berries. Definitely get the bergamot in the top and the blackberry/raspberry.

Also to me some patchouli is detectable. I get that SUBTLE Victor & Rolf Flowerbomb feel, but just in the background.
Don't get me wrong, this is not like Flowerbomb at all.

The citrus will fade a lot. So it dries down sweet, fruity, YUMMY and very youthful!

I prefer this MUCH over the EDP version. For some reason the EDP smells like pure metal to me, kinda like blood. You know that coin smell? That's exactly what it smells like.
Idk if im anosmic to something or if the strawberry ,that the EDP has, rubs me the wrong way or whatever, its just not for me.

Anyways I feel lucky having this little gem and also not too many people wear this, compared to the EDP, which is good!

ScarlettX

When I smelled it from the bottle, if was better than it actually is.
This scent is very strong, even though it's just EDT. I don't like the annoying sweetness synthetic smell it has.
Not a scent for me.

dvpxo

I enjoy this fragrance very much and wish it would sit on my skin the way that it comes out of the bottle yet sadly it does not. Regrettably, I had to return this gorgeous little bottle. It reminds me of Givenchy's Haute Couture because of the heavy raspberry accord, just not as syrupy or overly sweet. YSL's Mon Paris is fresh, enticing, musky and sweet but nothing overly special. For the price I could not bare to drench myself in the juice the way that the fragrance wanted me to, the lasting power is sadly lacking. The sweetness would fade and I would be left with nothing but a cheap smelling musk. The bottle and the colour of the juice is probably what turned me onto the scent the most.

ClEL

It's so much nicer and prettier than the original. It's fresh and sweet without becoming too (sickly) sweet.

MeliMon92

I just got this and I like it. It's a lighter, fruitier version of the EDP, which I also own. Both are great and this one seems to not have a sort of metallic note I was getting from the EDP.

Arlene-Beatrix

Fruity top notes are very nice and promising. I wish it stayed that way! However, later it becomes similar to EDP, just a bit lighter. Not bad, not especially good either.

MarianaR

I got a sample of this and Wow. When I smell it and stop breathing for a second, I can feel the berries in my nose! I can almost taste the sweetness. Really confusing. I have really fallen in love with YSL berry fragrances. They are just so yummy! Looking forwards to smell the edp.

Soofiya

Tested it yesterday in a perfume shop and I'm very confused.I don't know whether it's my nose or my skin chemistry or what, but I don't detect much berryish fruits here!it IS fruity but I can smell something like pear as dominant note.or maybe it's apple ,or quince?I really don't know but it belongs to that league of fruit not berries.
No need to say,to my nose it has nothing to do with edp version.I love edp's intense sweetness and playful strawberry and It reminds me of miss dior cherie 2005 a bit.but I also love edt which seems to be a blend of mentioned fruits, light nondescript flowers and a hint of inoffensive, lovely musk.I couldn't detect much pathouli.it also has much softer sweetness and there's no berry sourness here.it has some freshness and isn't as sharp as edp.it's not a real chypre to me.It's a muskyfruity scent done very right.it's pretty and I really liked how it smells on me.can make a great and lot used perfume for spring and summer.sillage seems to be moderate but longevity is satisfying
I will put it in my wishlist but considering it's price(here only 90mil is available and it's about 100$ !!!) and couple of other perfumes that are waiting in my wishlist for a long time,I don't think that I can buy this beauty any time soon.if we had the opportunity of buying perfumes in 30 mil I wouldn't wait a minute to order this pretty perfume

Carpe Noctem

Got a sample and have tried a few times but this is just so boring to me. It smells just like the generic smell of walking into the perfume section of a department store where they're all sort of wafting together and you can't tell which is which.

I haven't smelled the EDP but to me, the EDT is nothing special at all.

JAA3

i prefer this to the perfume. smells boozy to me but pretty. not my signature scent but is the signature of someone very close to me. i also think this would make a nice night scent as it is very romantic. i love the ysl scents as they remind me of the night and tend to have rebellious spirits - just my opinion.

Princess

This is heaven in a bottle! It smells so pretty, romantic. Its very very sweet and girly - but I love it! It smells nothing like the edp,I think the edp smells like VS Strawberry champagne

JuliaQueen

I have the EDP, which I love but it can be too potent and strong, verging on headache inducing. This is a much lighter and softer version. I keep thinking that had this EDT been out when I purchased the original, I would have gone with the EDT instead.

the_new_esta

I smelt the EDP a while ago when it first came out and was disappointed. The current trend is boring and overdone.
Much to my surprise, this one is majestic and beautiful! It's wearable but not a copy of everything out at the moment.
YSL, if you must discontinue one in the future; make it the EDP. This EDT version is a classic spiced marshmallow scent that is a cut above the rest. Not the rest of perfumes in general, but definitely its contemporaries (FB, LVEB & BO).

If you're in Australia, this is a classy refined version of MOR Marshmallow. I like that scent but it's heady and overpowering. Just the spiced rose from that is similar in Mon Paris EDT.

ZBear

I blind bought this one as I was craving a new fragrance. I don’t regret it, but Mon Paris EDT also would not be my favorite fragrance. It is a pleasant fruity-musk, not bad for everyday use. To me, this is like an upscale Bath & Body Works sort of scent — not in a disparaging way — I just think it would appeal to the masses. Not entirely insipid, but if I smelled this, it wouldn’t stop me in my tracks either. The best part of Mon Paris is the bottle. For something along the same vein but with more character, I would recommend Dior’s latest Miss Dior.

sassa7

This should have been an entire new perfume not a flanker. Its game is beyond and above Mon Paris. The EDP turns sour patchouli pop cornish on my skin, flat and gross, i actually hate it, and Ive found cheap dupes that represent what it tries to in a far better way. Not the best from YSL. BUT THIS, this is divine on me, im madly in love and crave it lol. It has EDP potential. Its sweeter on me than the EDP, well composed, no grassy weird notes. It instantly reminds me of sweet bergamot delight and pink flowers. The pink pepper adds freshness, takes away the candy vibe for me. The cashmeran makes it elegant, makes it YSL, a step beyond the ordinary fruity musky perfumes. Its really one of the high end perfumes Id pay full price for. Ive noticed i have very different tastes than most ppl on here -im not one to downvote reviews becuz they bash what i love, but i simply cant agree with reviews that bash this beauty. This bitter? nah not on me, thank God! Or maybe it was created to suit my taste and my skin perfectly, the less ppl wear it the better right.. and more unique it stays because it really is one of a kind in its league. The bottle finally suits the content - dont get me started again on the EDP lol. Thank u YSL for making something I can fall for :)

UPDATE: Okay! She is Mine by La Rive is an exact dupe for this, both are great, this one has better lasting power and of course better quality.

Tries again today.
Yes to my previous review, but also to add the opening is of the juicy kind. I couldn't smell any of the others I had on, this aroma clouded the others.

The latest Armani offering 'YOU' edp OR EDT.? Sits much softer and closer to the skin.

dglightblue

This wears better than the edp. The edp goes sickly sweet.
This stays warm and scrummy.
Not unlike black opium and la vie set belle, poison girl in the dry down

Redandwhitedots

The mon Paris EDT settles so nice on the skin and is surprisingly long lasting prefers it to the original edp. So summery and elegant with a kick of sweetness. Just love how the perfume developed throughout the different notes

Oh Mon Paris.... I am in love with you. Down to your darling bottle to everything about you. You are the perfect scent for me. Sweet, powdery, sensual and sexy. I own the edp as well and just had to add this to my collection. Why not?? I love scents with berries and musk and amber and even patchouli , when done right. This is done perfectly in my eyes. I get compliments constantly and don't want to give up my secret. LOL! I feel this is perfect year round and is great for all ages. I'm not about putting perfumes in catagories. I feel we should wear what we want , when we want.

I really like this scent! It is young and girly, the patchouli isn't too heavy here, not on me anyway. The berries in the opening are very well balanced. I find it fresh and clean. Although the price point is too high. I got mine as a deal on ebay, I wouldn't pay full price. The longevity is good, at least seven hours and it lasts best when you don't bruise (rub) the scent.

I smelled it ...I bought it..I love it...pretty simple.

Miss X

I don't recommend to blind buy this one, it's like a mix between acqua di gioia with a little bit of Black opium, which may sound great if there wasn't for an extra typical sticky raspberry flavor that invades it all and provokes me nausea.

Its lack of originality or freshness tires my nostrils. I think peony+raspberry are just a bad combination. Too obvious, typical feminine-scented stuff's cheap scent.

Not classy, nor chic. What a waste of name and cute bottle...

This reminds me of Always Red Femme by Elizabeth Arden,
which I love, but I find this one to be weaker and more... old smelling?
Not sure how to express myself with this.
I like this though, it's not a bad scent.
Just that it's quite weak.

Antalia_fb

Yet another citrusy/floral/powdery/every-other-fancy-bottle type of perfume. There is nothing Paris about this, but if that name helps with marketing, so be it.

iamoir

The EDT is sharper for the first half wear time, lightly sweet, citrusy, not sugary yet, definitely lighter than the EDP. Not as boozy as the EDP. The rest of the wear time it is identical to the EDP, only it lasts considerably less. The patchouli here is much more tamed.
Again, a lot of notes! but if someone would be blind tested on this, they would respond that it's a raspberry citrusy scent. Personally I like blackberry, but I do not detect it here. It's just full on raspberry citrus. Peony is a lovely floral, yet again, nothing. Datura, I must admit, I am not acquainted with its narcotic aroma, so it could really be here, but I'm not seeing it...
But honestly, if they want us to appreciate the florals they should create a flanker with very very subdued fruity notes and very prominent floral notes. The fruit here are killing almost all the notes.
Basically if you have the EDP no need to rush for the EDT. This isn't a flanker, it's an EDT.
As for the white chypre claim...don't get me started on that...

It looks as YSL is going to follow the same tactics with Mon Paris as it happened with Black Opium. Lots of new releases in a short span of time to get the most profits of them. However, in both of them there is little difference between the EDT, the edition with swarovski cristals, and so on...
I would say that when a fragance is unique on its own merit, stop launching more similar ones with the same name to avoid confussion amongst consumers...
