I got it as a gift to one of my order yearsss ago and i didnt really appreaciate this perfume until i used the half of the bottle. What a beautiful gourmandish vanilla fragrance. The only one i wear it in the bed, im really sorry it got discontinued.

An excellent sweet gourmand fragrance! Fans of sweet scents will love this one, but it's the clove that sets it apart from all the others. I find this EDT very comforting, very cocooning, perfect for winter evenings. I love to spray it on my wrists before going to bed: Sweet dreams guaranteed! :)
On the other hand, I despise its longevity (2 hours max) and its projection is almost nonexistent. If Yves Rocher released an EDP version of this EDT, it would be a bliss!

I’m still in love with this :(

I absolutely LOVE this scent! It makes me sad that it’s discontinued and so hard to find. I bought a partial on Mercari and I haven’t been able to get my hands on another one as a back-up. The only thing I don’t love about it is the lasting power—out of all the fragrances I own, this one fades the fastest. And I own a lot. If they released it again but as an eau de parfum formulation, I think my life would be perfect.

This is supposed to be a dupe for Cologne of the Missions, so maybe I should just buy that.

It’s nothing extraordinary nor does it aspire to be at these prices, it’s simply a warm and yummy scent for colder days. According to the brand, this is supposed to be caramel vanilla with a touch of citrus, but I don’t find citrus anywhere in this scent, just the vanilla and slightly roasted caramel with just a hint of cedar in the drydown. Ah, and a very alcoholic opening, which luckily disappears soon.

My main problem with this fragrance is how weak it is: it’s gone before an hour with minimum sillage during that time (tbh, it’s what I’ve come to expect from Yves Rocher fragrances), so I use it as an after-shower body mist before going to bed.

Nice vanilla, for autumn and winter. Cozy, warm, sweet.

My latest Yves Rocher purchase. I've always been a fan of their fragrances, have used them for years.

I love Nuit Vanille. It's warm and comforting. It smells a lot like La Nuit Tresor a la Folie to my nose, but with a bit more caramel. It also doesn't last nearly as long, but honestly for the price of €8.45 for 100ml, I really don't care. This is a cozy fragrance, it's shy and needs to be noticed up close. Perfect for cuddling up by the fire with a hot chocolate, I'd imagine.

Basically a watered-down Cologne of the Missions without the boozy quality. Vanilla, caramel and cedar. Very light and short lasting. Pretty and comforting for the price. Smells more like Cologne of the Missions as it dries down. Marshmallowy

It's a nice fragrance, sweet vanilla with a bit of spiciness coming through from the clove - I would've enjoyed more of it to be honest, to make it a bit more daring. It also has a faint citrus note in the opening and a nice woody base.

I like wearing it around the house, especially before going to bed at night, because it's comforting and pretty and it puts me in a good mood before sleep.

A mild nice EdT. Woody mild vanilla.
A pure tree-mist. A clean cloud from sauna-premises.
Suitably fresh, suitably sweet. I love it.
The perfume is clearly sweet.

It's a pleasure to spray it. Soft woodiness lingers there a short moment.
As very mild skin scent there stays vanilla. Later it feels even peachy sweet, sometimes.

Smell

Not too sweet or too syrupy vanilla a bit of bergamot to brighten and lighten the night with pale crescent winter moon.

romantic and warm. close to skin not too woody.

love it.

I'm so glad I bought 2 bottles!!

I bought this perfume blindly, based on your nice comments, and, you were right!

This perfume was love at first sniff I think it is the cloves; it reminds me of Christmas, red colors and white snow, the scent is different from the YR vanilla bourbon, which is kinda sharper, but also very wonderful, it's hard to choose which one is the best,

it also reminds me of YR Cap Nature Vanilla, which I was totally devoted to, Nuit Vanille is softer, rounder, much more smoother, I think it is the warm cedar, and I'm addicted,

just so glad I have 2 bottles :D

This is a much more pure, simple and straightforward warm and slightly caramelised vanilla scent, than what you would expect based on all the woody and floral notes listed in Yves Rocher's own description for the scent.

And I'm actually very glad for that, since I was afraid that especially the woody notes would overtake the beautiful vanilla.

I do get some bergamont and cedar, and maybe just a hint of florals, but vanilla plays the main role here.

A lovely warm winter time vanilla this one. Very cozy, sweet and pretty. The powdery aspect is also there.

And even though I said that this is a pretty simple and straightforward vanilla, to me this is much more complex and interesting than YR's Bourbon Vanilla (which I find pretty boring and not a very well balanced vanilla).

WHOA--I L-O-V-E this one!! Vanille Nuit is in my TOP #5 of all time faves! I am so happy I blind bought this--and for $42 from a really nice EBayer I negotiated with!!! :) It's simple yet unique to me. Not really a sugary, gourmand vanilla (which I am glad!) and it is just very rich, soft and pretty. My husband tells me I smell good when I have this on, so it's a keeper! I wouldn't have expected the scent I get from the notes listed, but I am not complaining either! The tiniest bit of sweetness (caramel?), with creamy vanilla and cedar wood--I don't really get much powder or floral--well done, Yves Rocher!!! Now I am curious about trying Vanille Blanche from last year's collection...hmmmm...:) Lasting power is about 4 hours, but I am not complaining about re-applying!

The scent opens with a blast of pencil shavings, but the vanilla quickly takes over.

It's a deep, woody, slightly caramelized vanilla with a smokey feeling. It smells a tad like a soft, creamy bonfire. The scent is sweet, but not too sweet. It doesn't smell like candy to me, it's too woody and smokey to be really edible.

Nuit Vanille is quite linear. It just changes a little in the first 5 minutes on the skin, and after that it pretty much smells the same. It only gets a tad softer.

It's a nice scent. Nothing amazing or groundbreaking, but very nice and cozy.

Sillage is a soft medium that dries down to a soft scent with presence, and longevity is 5-6 hours.

I love it.
At first it seemed to be the well known boring Vanilla with some spice, but after a while it became very warm, still a little bit refreshing, dreamy Christmas time perfume. NoT groundbreaking still loveable.
IT lasts on my skin.

lacemylove

Got mine today.

Sugar-vanilla-toffee-fudge. If you like candy sweet fragrances, this is a dream come true, a real treat. If you don't, this is very likely wayyyy too sweet.

kristamb

I can't wait to try this! Lovely bottle.

Darn. :(

Seems to me to be a weaker version of their "Poire Caramel" from a few years back! Too in-keeping with their general vanille range.

A warm pear/caramel/vanilla scent with gentle projection. Good lasting power.

Lovely packaging though - makes a change for it to be boxed.
The matching shower oil is disappointingly only scented very softly - barely noticeable. Scent is entirely ill-befitting of the name.

Last year's "Vanille Blanche" was better/more unique and really stood alone as a fab vanilla scent.
