I was confused by this scent when I first got it, so I pushed it to the back and forgot about it for a few months. Today I whipped it out again for a proper wear. It doesn’t smell like what I thought it did at all. For some reason it came off very different the first time I wore it.

Overall I’d categorize this in the “laundry musk” genre. Not saying it smells like crappy fabric softener, it smells like clean warm linens fresh from being washed by the nicest scented soaps that don’t actually exist in real life. Therefore, it feels like a warm hug, a snuggly blanket. It evokes feelings of being warm, clean, and comfortable without any sharp or strong distinctive notes coming through. I’d describe it as a vanilla floral musk. More of a skin scent, but you can overspray your give it a boost. It’s very gentle and pretty. It’s unique but theres nothing about it that is loud or obnoxious. Office and small space safe. I do wish it performed a bit better. I get 4, maybe 6 hours max from this scent. It projects about 2-3 feet the first hour or two and sticks within 1 foot for he last few hours. It doesn’t last too much longer on clothing. After 6 hours I can only occasionally detect a slight powder coming from the areas I sprayed heavily, and only when my nose is pressed against skin/hair/clothes. I personally prefer stronger and longer lasting scents, so for as nice as this is, I won’t be repurchasing once I finish my bottle.

I’d recommend this for fans of Valaya and Quentin Bisch’s other floral musk scents. Boucheron Fleurs comes to mind as well. This isn’t a citrus musk but honestly it gives a similar vibe, musk dominant. I don’t recognize it as a dupe for any of his other popular scents, but it’s a great alternative to sample.

The reminds me of section is insane. This bears ZERO resemblance to : Olympea Solar, hypnotic poison, Dior addict, or Good Girl. Zero resemblance as in I don’t think they even share one note that is similar. Whoever voted them as smelling alike has a majorly broken nose. This is not a gourmand at ALL, nor is it a “flower scent.” It’s light, fresh, clean, aromatic, with a subtle blend of musk with non-gourmand soft vanilla underneath a light nondistinct blend of flowers and green notes. It’s a soft and gentle scent that many people wouldn’t recognize as “perfume” as it smells more like skin and light soap.

nisarsarah9

Such a soft, sensual scent perfect for winters! However, I dont like the lasting of it!

VCer

Lovely but a bit bland, perfect as an office smell

Cherry Bloom

This is by far the most unique perfume I've tried. The only perfume that I associate with it without them to smell alike but I associate them through the feeling of feminity, freedom and power they both inspire to me is Amouage Portrayal. Also, it is my most complimented perfume when wearing it. This one and Angels Share.

Underrated beauty that makes it's wearer feel happy, confident and unbeatable. Lovely!

KhDa

To be honest one of the best perfumes. strong at the same time too soft, unfortunately this perfume is really underrated . 🌸

Daccine

Be warned that if you overspray this adorable little gem(which I always do ) you will get noticed. In my case positively so.
It smells light to my nose however.

Vellocet

There’s something very harsh in the opening that I can’t put my finger on. I tried to ignore it because I was so hyped for the exciting notes to develop but nothing much happened unfortunately. It dried down to a faint, musky, powdery vanilla which was nice but nothing special. I also picked up an iris like note which is odd since it’s not listed.

honeybunny1977

I am walking through a green forest, smelling the fresh moist early morning scent of sweet flowers and fern leaves. This perfume is unique and probably wont appeal to everyone. To me its youthful, bright, fresh and gives me a pop of zippy notes of sweet florals. If you are in the mood for a cozy, warm gourmand, this is the opposite. Its energizing and has a clean smelling vibe too. I personally love the aesthetic of the bottle and appreciate how different it is from all the same old same old vanilla pear jasmine etc etc perfumes that come out all the time. I bought the 30 mil along with the body cream. Its a strong fragrance that lasts so you dont need much. I can apply some body lotion on my legs and a quick spritz on my torso and I smell divine.

psychedelicious

This is actually for EVERY girl. It’s for the tomboy, the athlete, the artist, the dancer, the reader and all other archetypes of passionate women. I wouldn’t even bat an eye at a man wearing this either, because it’s genuinely presenting as a unisex perfume to me.

I got it on sale and let me tell you I’m chuffed with this purchase. I’ll personally probably only wear it during the warmer times of the year because I don’t have that many summer scents but it really suits every season. I’d say it’s more of a casual/date night with a stable partner perfume than a night out having drinks and looking to attract a partner.

It’s giving confidence and it would fit anyone from 15 to 40.

FrkFors

What an interesting perfume this really is. I wish to revisit it after many years now.

Bor_Yana

I love this fragrance! For a long time I was looking for a perfume to fall in love with, like my beloved Mon Guerlain. And I still couldn't find it. Until I smelled Girls can do anything... He's awesome! If you like vanilla scents, you will appreciate it. It was love at first smell for me! It opens a bit sour on my skin at first, maybe because of the pear and bergamot. But after 10 minutes... I think Heaven smells like this. Sweet but not too much, elegant, vanilla, musky. Freshness and cleanliness. I get a floral sound, even though it's not a floral scent. It's very long-lasting, I can smell it from morning to night on my skin, and my scarves smell for days.
Imagine the scent of luxury glossy paper from a beauty shop - this is it! A cozy modern perfume.

márti.vincze

Honestly this could be a great home fragrance, but I would not wear it as a perfume. There is something camphorous in the opening, cold and icy, mixed with fruits like a fruity-minty chewing gum. There is nothing enveloping or cuddly about this, it's a rather kind-but-distant feel, like at an office.
It warms a bit with the dry down, but the opening is so strange, I can't seem to get over it.

faustute

Very nice, warm girly smell. But not too basic, i really like it!

Eclectorina

I've written about this before, but I just want to add this is hard to form an opinion on unless you live with it for a while. I've had a year to test it out, and let me tell you it changes! Not only on season, but humidity, mood and whatnot. Some days I get an explosion of honey, other days green fern, amongst everything in between. My favorite days are when I get a sophisticated, clean and sexy in between. It's exceptional in autumn night, low humidity, for my tastes. Makes me sleep like a baby. I'm happy to have this in my collection.

Kimmie96

I really judged the opening scents of this perfume. It smelt like poverty at first, so uninteresting at first. The dry down is what got me, I am so in love with it. It smells like confidence in a bottle. A great fragrance for spring/summer.

baddieb

An interesting design choice with the bottle. Is it supposed to be reminiscent of a Coke bottle or a medication vial? Anyway, if the first few notes were off putting, let me tell you, patience is key because the dry down is worth it. The vanilla is so lovely here with a punchy patchouli that thankfully calms down as the frag develops. It is fruity with pear and citrus prominence that quickly subsides into a creamy vanilla/tonka bean/tuberose-forward scent. I kind of get that bubblegummy tuberose quality that's balanced by patchouli/fern and it works, oddly enough. Love the musk in here too. Projection is moderate. This is feminine, unique enough to set your collection apart from others but not a must-have, although I'm happy to have it in my collection. Looking forward to wearing this out.

Edit:
Having worn this out now a few times paired with the lotion, it's absolutely heavenly. It projects at about an arm's length away and I've gotten compliments. It's really underrated imo and has really decent lasting power. Most discount retailers will give a fair price as well. It's been my most worn fragrance on my spring shelf. I was surprised that I like this so much.

Anomis_di_Fresia

I am telling you, this perfume would have gotten way more hype, if the flacon wouldn’t look like an old school penicillin bottle!🤦🏻

The scent is juicy pear 🍐 with green vanilla! Sounds strange but it’s a devine spring scent, that lasts very well!

SailorV

Girls can do anything. An example: They can buy this perfume or leave it on the store shelf and forget about it. Both are perfectly understandable choices, as it's nice and pleasant, but not really that exciting.

This is mainly a tonka and vanilla scent, very sweet and almond-esque. The pear is strong in the opening, and it's warm and juicy like canned pears, not the icy-fresh, crisp kind of pear. It sticks to the other notes, so it's still there in the drydown, but not as dominant as in the first hour. Later the fragrance takes an unexpected turn into laundry musk territory. At this point it reminds me a little bit of YSL Libre, but not that much, it only has the same kind of washing powder freshness. The sweet tonka and vanilla aren't going anywhere though, they're just mixed with the cleanest white musk and diffuse, fuzzy ambroxan.
I had hoped for a little spice in this, but I don't really get any, just sweet and clean notes.

To me this sits just between the "like" and the "okay" rating, but in the end I decided for "okay" because there are so many better things out there.

Cherry Bloom

Ok, this may not be the most popular perfume in the world but I couldn't care less. It's so uplifting and it gives me an incredible confidence like no other fragrance. I feel it on me all day at work, the others feel it too and, no matter what perfume I use (and I change lots of) this one is my most complimented. Probably because it suits me like no other. The only perfume in the world I owned 3 bottles of so far. This, for me, it's not about what it smells like but about how it makes me feel. I detect no note in particular because I don't care about that. What does it smell like for me: Like freedom and happiness. There's no other fragrance that can catch the smell of freedom like this in a bottle. Genius!

hannha_Banana

I love it. First, it's interesting. Not another fruity floral for indefinitely pinky girls. And the bottle is so a little but not the scent. It's light not exactly sweet, a little powdery, a little warm and fresh. I smell delicate fruits but not synthetic and like candy, I smell tonca been, amber, musc and a little jasmine but everything is not borrowing, it's something independent here, very light and lazy, exactly like an independent young free girl, but this time not like typically pinky sweet commercial girl. This is a modern Lou Lou. Maybe her daughter? :)
Girls can do anything? Yes, this true.
I like this very much i wear this with pleasure.

btriss

I love this perfume so much. My colleague wore it once and I harassed her to not forget to write the name for me. Ever since this has been my signature scent because that dry down is sooo wonderful.
It is a compliment getter, not excessively but people tells me I smell nice. I guess it really works with my DNA. The best part is when you're at bed at night and you can still feel it like a cloud around you. It's just so good.

Although it is a bit too sweet/floral for me in the beginning. Almost nauseating tbh. But the dry down is worth it for me. A few sprays will last you long. I don't wear it as much now because I'm on the hunt for a similar scent... I haven't found anything like it yet but Girl of Now by Elie Saab has me intrigued.

Anna Stromberg

I like this. It has a great spicy kick and an interesting sweetness. I've gotten a lot of compliments when wearing this. But the name is so bad! So juvenile, talk about stating the obvious.

grapefruit352

There are very cloying synthetic flowers here. Those flowers play the same game from the start until the end. Somehow, this fragrance to me is all about flowers and flowers..pink flowers..plastic flowers, like for the pink plastic doll house, where Barbie is sitting on the sofa and drinking the coffee with her girlfriends.
Then more I smell this on my wrist, then more it reminds to me something from Avon lines. Pur Blanca+Perceive+ Incandescence.
The fragrance is long-lasting, keeps on the skin for easily more then 6 hours and more..you can wash it out only in the shower.
For the teenage girl, it might fit totally fine! In my teenager hood I have had similar fragrances and I was so happy. So, any girl, can do anything with this scent, with this funny simple bottle, it will be perfectly okay!

Margarita Birda

Patchouli, Tonka beans and clove with a bit of Vanilla on my skin. Artificially sweet but dirty and greenish at the same time. Disappointed.

MidgardMechanic

This was a blind buy for me (got it at a fantastic discount) that worked out brilliantly. It smells great, has a sweetness to it, but it isn't overwhelmingly sweet or nausea inducing. It has a warmth to it, although no where near the warm cozyness of Roberto Cavalli EDP, which is also a vanilla scent, but very different - I have to test this in the summer, but I think Girls Can Do Anything is less likely to become cloying in hot weather.

I can't really pick out notes all that well but the my blend into a scent that works very well with my skin chemistry. It is addicting from the first spray and all through the day, trough all its phases (the dry down doesn't change it all that much in my opinion).
On me, the longevity is a beast and I catch whifs of it throughout the day and well into the evening after 1 spray in the morning (lasts all the way to the evening shower 12+ hours). Boyfriend loves it as well, so there is that added bonus.

I maybe would not recomend a blind buy, even though it did work out well for me. My mom tried smelling it and hates one of the tones, says it ruins it for her and makes it smell cheap. I don't think so at all, it smells heavenly but just a warning to try it before buying.

hexed

This is absolutely delectable! Creates a wonderful sweet cloud, a bit like Girl of Now but more polite. Has a hint of that almondy play dough tone. I thought of an almond cake with orange flower flavored cream... or something like that. Youtube user nisipisa said of Good Girl, that she would fall in love with anyone repeatedly wearing it near her and that's how I currently feel about this fragrance.

LB1997

In my opinion this is a likeable and unique scent. I probably won't buy it again because I like other sweeter fragrances a bit more.

Eugenia Olesen

I can´t get enough... This perfume gives me strength and optimism for new achievements. It's an explosion of joy! LOVE

butterflybeauty

This perfume is inspiring, unique, sensual and captivating. It is one of my very favorite signature scents. It is a well crafted and high quality french perfume with elements from niche perfumery.

I love all Zadig & Voltaire fragrances I have tried and now own. This brand really knows how to capture the best of vanilla. This vanilla is true to the wild tropical orchid whose beans produce one of the world's most treasured scents and flavors. This perfume is infused with this gorgeous natural vanilla note throughout.

This perfume opens with a combination of orange blossom and pear. It reminds me of walking through an orange grove where all the trees are in blossom. It is one of the most beautiful joyful scents in nature. Here, it is a gorgeous warm citrus floral. The pear adds a delicate sweetness. The opening is beautifully warm and joyful. Although it has a sweet element, it is not overpowering.

At the heart of this fragrance is the exotic tonka bean which enhances the natural vanilla, offering a beautifully sensual and comforting element to the fragrance. The fern plays a staring role at the heart, adding a unique twist of green woods. This is beautifully natural and grounding.

At the base of this fragrance, both vanilla and musk work together in a soft natural accord that becomes one with the skin.

I find this scent projects very well, but in a beautifully natural way. It is very well balanced. It is long lasting and versatile. It can be used during the day or night for a variety of occasions. It may suit a girl or woman of any age, if her personality matches the perfume. It is a unique scent that is joyful, sensual, natural and comforting.

The bottle is simple but very well crafted. The slogan across the bottle is one that is made to inspire. Every time I read it, I smile. I am inspired. I spray on the perfume and remind myself that indeed: I can do anything.

Like the orange blossom, I am a constant unfolding transformation into joyous beauty.

Like the pear, I am filled with delicate sweetness.

Like the fern, I am grounded while reaching toward the sun.

Like the tonka bean, I am sensual.

Like the vanilla, I am kind to myself and others.

Like the musk, I am true to myself.

The message of this perfume is inspiring. The slogan is truth. Girls can do anything.

This perfume is magificent!

Thank you and well done Zadig & Voltaire!

Just opened box and have first spray in wrist:
Initial impression is Delightful. Not as Sweet as some have said. Has a bit of effervescence to it. I Purchased it because I’m in love with Parfum de Marley Delina Quinton Bisch is the nose and it is light and bright. Has a bit of spice so I will save it for cooler days and nights. I’m not a “girl”. So I do t think you need to be in your 20’s or 30’s to wear it. Ambroxin is the main note I’m getting on dry down. Fern is so faint. The musk is soft.

Passionflower

I got a sample for this one which I tried for two days. First of all, I love the name 'Girls can do anything'! This fragrance starts off quite fruity like most of the boring popular scents these days, but allmost immediately there's something else too. A woody sharpish undertone. When it dries down, the fruityness disappears and I get a cosy comfy powdery scent. I can definitely smell a hint of patchouli too. It's also a bit sweet, but I don't smell vanilla. It's not a girly fragrance, so I think the name fits. It's not overpowering at all, its lasting power is ok. There's a subtle kind of boldness in it that I like. I'd wear it in daytime, it's great to wear to work, I think. I'm not sure I find it interesting enough to buy a bottle, though.

Lolapoop

opening is dense and nothing special. not to my liking. but later it turns into almost exact copy of hypnotic poison by dior which is gorgeous . so for first 2 hours i stay home and suffer ,so that i can later go out and smell of something i like far better . it's like 2 in 1

tulpe

This is wow! Bought it same day after testing! So nice, fresh in a such modern way , for me its comforting, could last longer on my skin, and is skinclose scent. am spraying it ALL the time! Have also ordered this is her by zadig&voltaire and will update! A love from me!

Update after 3 months -still nice, have Just few ml i a bottle but i think i will not repurchase, because got More lean towards niche perfumery lately, so much to discover there! But still appreciate our short but oh nice relationship!

elledeelee

Very interesting fragrance to me, at the time of first testing I had not smellt anything quite like it! It's unusual and seems to offer something a little more than your average generic girly scent on the market these days. Zingy sweetness, sharp hairspray, pear, and youthful florals. There's tonka in the dry down but up until that point the scent has a real freshness to it. It sits somewhere in between Lacoste Pour Femme Elixir and Jimmy Choo L'Eau, a sparkling, sweet citrus flower, with added powder and fruity berries over a hint of musk in the base. Would be a good scent to transition between seasons, since it's simultaneously cosy and cool, sweet and fresh.

raiza1990

Nice fragrance. Has that cold, milky vibe, like the others from this brand, but this one is a bit zesty. It also has a warm phase with a bit of powder that makes an interesting contrast to it's cold phase. It's a sensual, comforting fragrance for cold days. If you like the others from this brand you will also like this one.
Final note: 7/10

celestial

This is a great perfume for cold weather, to keep you warm with its sweetness and smokiness - I can smell tonka bean, pear and jasmine, although I don't see jasmine listed in the notes - maybe what I am smelling is the orange blossom. It can be quite strong and I only reach for it sometimes, but I think it's interesting and very well made.

papagalulcric

This perfume is different than anything else on the market. It's unique, long lasting, floral-oriental, not sweet.

Gourmandlover

Yesterday and today I sprayed this on and I'm thinking there must be something wrong with my nose or with my perception of the scent. Because it strongly reminds me of 2 different scents: Narciso rouge and Elie Saab girl of now. And I don't understand why. I'm not good at picking notes. But apparently they share the same vibe to me..

Viviana21

When this was released, I got a sample paper that I carried in my wallet for more than 1 year. Surprisingly, the scent was still present every time I took it out. My first impression was a sweet floraly, berry like, similar to La Vie est Belle. Nothing really special for me, since I am not a huge fan of that type.
Fast forward a year, I got a 1.2ml sample that I tried on a chilly, rainy, September day. The longevity on my skin was brutal, close to 10h and after a workday it was still radiating. I was not going to buy it anyway, because it was clearly not my kind, but be aware: it made my sick by the end of the day. Do not blind buy, especially if you are sensitive to scents.

Nyrahe

I am surprised with such a bad ratings. I actually like it a lot. Don't let the bottle and colour of the perfume inside fool you. This is not a light floral citrusy girly fragrance. This is heavy, very strong night time/cold weather perfume. And in my opinion it's not boring nor generic perfume. IMO, It's very interesting composition.

catix

I was expecting something more... special, based on the name.
I’ve used This is her! for quite a while and that one had an attitude. I was expecting more from this. It starts sort of interesting (can’t really distinguish the notes unfortunately), however the dry out is almost disturbing on my skin. It lasts however for a few hours and can be only removed with difficulty. As already stated in other reviews, not a blind buy!

rosecat

Under all the Aroma Chemicals Coumarin Ambroxan etc... it reminds me so much of LouLou and a hint of Anais Anais, a nod to the Classics.

LilaqueC

Girly, pink perfume, sweet but not overly so. I was surprised to see that basically no one has pictured this the way I do - probably my skin chemistry just did its trick with this one. However, for me this frag is MENTHOL, throat pastilles, minty toothpaste all over, mixed together with some marshmellows in a powdery medicinal way. Not for me.

justfloral

Wintergreen + melting plastic + dusty vanilla.

It is somewhat similar to Laguna by Salvador Dali (especially in middle notes). Like its better modern flanker. I like base notes - powdery "sawdusty" vanilla and wintergreen.

EDIT: I love base notes, medicinal wintergreen-vanilla commbination make me think of some Mugler perfumes (Aura?)

AprilSea

Opens in a splash of blackcurrant, as if I open a bottle of currant-flavoured Fanta - a teenage perfume, I thought. In 15 mins starts producing a powdery dry-down and brings in some roses, which are not listed, and ends up with some milky note of sandal, tonka bean and peary-raspberry-rose.
Not sure where the fougere is.
Longevity moderate, sillage moderate. A pink smell; like, not love. Nothing spectacular. Hopefully we'll go along this spring.

Valentineee

youreyes

Nauseating. Bubblegum and car air freshener.

Rose du soir

This is supposed to carry the image of a strong girl, but it's actually as pink and classical girly as all other fashionable powdery sweet fragrances. I can't smell the fougere. Much more inoffensive than its name and bottle suggest, although it's quite intense and meant for cold weather. Not my cup of tea because I find it migraine inducing, but powdery tonka lovers will certainly like it.

rola.asad

Nothing memorable here, but if you are a powdery-sweet scents lover, and would like to find something suitable for warm days without being offensive, I guess this will go well with you!
it resembles valentina poudre from valentino, but IMO VP would be so heavy to wear in any day that is not cold and wintry, then I guess ( Girls Can Do Anything) is the alternative option to go for!

Loredana0108

it reminds me of valentina poudre, same powder and vanilla combination. They are almost identical to my nose.

Gisellalovesfrags

The more I wear it the more it brings me back to my teenage... Finally today I had a Eureka! Lou Lou! Oui, c’ Lui! Except for the opening, here more freshness. Maybe it’s the Tonka. Anyway I feel a welcome retro vibe (the same as I taste in latest mainstream releases, e.g. Gucci Bloom)

AnitaHendricks

Most of all I smell the fern and tonka bean notes. It's fresh and deep at the same time! It's a young, modern scent too. I'm not in love but I'd like to flirt with it! I can see many typical, blonde highschool girls wearing this scent.

genny17

This is an interesting perfume, with its own little character...now I don't like ambroxan, mixing in with the fern, it gives it a weird vibe..it is kind of hard to describe, it isn't a youngish scent, I don't care much for the message behind it, I buy perfumes based on the smell...nothing else..I love the Zadig creations, but that one is not so much my cup of tea..it leaves me thinking it isn't overall attractive to my nose..it has a sweeter base, but nothing that is a waow factor for me, although feminine fougère is a good description for it..
UPDATE
After wearing it a while, I must say that i really find it interesting, it has a powdery greenish vibe that you dont find often...it isnt a love but i certainly enjoy this one..

ScarlettX

This is a strong tonka bean-vanilla scent with some musk and amber.
Sweet and strong, but very ordinary in the world of perfumes.
Could be a good one for autumn and winter.
Definitely not a signature scent, too boring for that.
I hit the like button, it's nice enough, just not amazing.

kl99

Well, it was a nice surprise to find this perfume.

Although some elements of the all packaging make us think to one of "all the same" fragrance fruity vanillic for blond girls, here we have a quite original fragrance. Maybe not unique. But surely well combined. Ambroxan tonka orange blossoms pear fern musk are orchestrated very well and creates a sensual fresh fragrance. Soapy talc transparent romantic and unusually warm. Remember me a not aggressive version of Aura in some way, and It has also some vintage vibes which recall me the amber of the first Moschino, or Krazy Krizia, obviously in a diluting modern light formula. But Lavande Trianon by Lancome it share more things with it, same milk of vanille radiation.

Innocent sexy chic. Good job

masako_30

I'm so grateful! my co-worker gave me this sample at work. Something in this remind me of Love Chloé-line, I don't know which note creates this vibe but on my skin there's something like that.
And that's a good thing.
Truly elegant.

Ohhellozippy

Changed my like to a love. This baby grows on you!

Ohhellozippy

What's with all the dislikes. It's a descent fragrance, sweet and musky. Lasting a couple of hours and low sillage, something inoffensive. That's why I find so many dislikes right from the start a bit harsh? Not every perfume has to be so heavy and overbearing that people are coughing around you wherever you go.

I am in love! I thought it would be like all the rest but I am pleasantly surprised and I really think that it is a fresh take on the brand. Love the packaging clean and feminine but still has a clinical edge to the bottle. The glass is thick and the lid is solid but it is a clean looking very pale pink juice with a sweet slightly floral musky vibe. Really lovely and not in your face but still there. Reminds me of a Narcisso, very similar.

And another sweet crowd pleaser. The bottle is nice, the juice is rather for "girls" with a sweet tooth. Underneath all the sugar and (harsh) aromachemical musk/amber mix lurks a tiny hint of semi clean orange blossom.
As bold as a pink cotton ball.
