Pregnacare conception...mess up cycle??

Has anyone experienced any issues with pregnacare conception vitamins??? Started taking them at the beginning of this cycle and I'm late ovulating!! It's CD17 and I usually ovulate day 14/15 and not even a sniff of a +OPK yet.

Anyone found this??

Think I may stop taking them...don't want to lengthen this process any more than I need to!! 2ww is bad enough!!

I've used them since November & got my BFP on Easter Sunday.

Have heard good things about them helping with TTC and aside from the bright yellow wee (TMI?!?!), didn't have any side effects.

If you stop with Pregnacare don't forget to take another folic acid supplement.

Oh, and apparently it can take a while for the Pregnacare Conception to get in your system to feel the benefit. Don't forget women don't ovulate every month necessarily.

Hope you don't have to endure the 2ww for much longer xx

I started taking them cd7 and cd21 today ,noy doing opks this month so no.idea if or when i.ovd , apart from.bright yellow wee too ,ive not noticed anything else xxx

I've got loads of EWCM so if I wasn't using OPK I would say I've ovulated but according to OPK (cheapies and clearblue digital) I havent ovulated yet!! I've also got sore boobs (similar to when AF is coming) which I only usually get day before AF. God knows what these vitamins are doing to my body!!!! X

I wouldn't have thought it was the vitamins that have played with your cycle, just one of those things! Two years of tracking my cycle I know I can randomly ovulate later some months. Usually CD14/15 but have been as early as CD12 and as laste as CD18.

I know what you mean about the bright yellow pee though, hubs is on the Wellman vits and his goes bright orange!

I would stick with them, as it has improved my hubs sperm count no-end as we're under a fertility clinic now and his retests were much better after being on the vits!

I wouldn't have thought there is anything in them that would affect your cycle. I conceived the first month I used pregnacare so I highly rate them of course! xx

I used them and conceived the first month but I found that I ovulated on cd21 which is late for me a usually around cd15/16 so may be some truth in it affecting cycles?

MrsCox - I have also got sore boobs, like i get just before af had them 3 days now and earliest af is due is 26th april,so monday!

I too thought it was a long shot that it's the vitamins affecting my cycle but when I googled it there were a lot of stories from other ladies saying they had found the same. There are 7 pages of posts here with a lot of people saying their cycles were affected when they started taking pregnacare. Who knows could be a total coincidence?

I've been on the pregnacare conception since I started my cycle after stopping the injection. At first I had really sore boobs from CD14 until my period but now the only two side effects that I've got are bright yellow pee (I was rather

to start with) and no unhappy pmt mood swings. This is a huge bonus as I would have to avoid tv the week before or I'd cry at the news, the weather, the adverts, movie trailers... I think that you get the idea! So, my periods have been much happier for the vitamins... I think that it's the vitamin B complex and selenium.

I did suggest to the other half that maybe eating a bag of twiglets and a box of chocolate brazils might do the trick, but he wasn't keen on that idea. Can't blame a girl for trying, eh?

Well I definetly think that pregnacare have messed up my cycle!! I have a period tracker app on my phone and over the last 12 months my cycles have been 28-31 days long. First time taking Pregnacre and im currently on cd36!!! BFNs and no AF!! What have they done to me!!!

Could it be stress? Back in Nov when we were trying to get our mortgage sorted with the bank and I was horribly stressed with that & work I was 2 wks late. Next month back on track and in Jan when waiting to go to court (Channel Islanders have to do property transactions through the Royal Court because it isn't stressful enough) I was nearly 3 wks late. Work still a nightmare so lovely 28 day cycle now swings between 25 and 31 days which adds to my stress!

Will be interesting to see how long my cycle is this month, I started taking Pregnacare Conception last week and Im currently on cd12. My cycles has been anywhere between 23-28 days long since August last year, previous to that I was bang on 28 days.... for reasons unknown lol. Will keep an eye on this post and let you know how I get on in a few weeks time xx

Firstly i noticed that my tummy is getting bigger while taking pregcare which has been a concern to my hubby,have been takng it for 3months now and am yet to conceive to worsen the matter am yet to see my period for september and pregnacy test shows negative twice,i hate the with passion now.

I am so upset with Pregnacare! It's not for everyone please beware. First month using the multivitamins and I am 19 days late day 65 of cycle BFN both urine and blood test. My average cycle is 45 days, I was sure I was pregnant. Until I happened to come across some reviews of Pregnacare today. I will definitely not be taking them again. Hope this helps others

how long will it take for it to get out of my system? And when am I likely to see my period again? Am late 5 day and I have done 8 pregnancy test, all negative. I also have sore breast but negative results, i just want to know when it will leave my system please.

Hi I too have been taking pregnacare this month and now on CD20 and no sign of EWCM and OPK says no no no

.. Seems unusual as I always see the EWCM but never used the OPK or pregnacare. After reading all your posts I think it's not for me and also want to ask when it will be out of my system? Very upsetting as been TTC for 2 years now and you think you are doing the right thing by taking these sorts of prenatal vitamins

I have been planing on taking pregnacare his & hers. I got pregnant the first time trying but unfortunately miscarried I am not sure if I should take the prenacare as the doctor perscibered me clonfloic? I am just unsure if I should take new vitamins and put the oh on it's too as we had no problem conceiving first time but want to do what's best because I am terrified I will miscarry again
