Pinar is telling Sultan that she is planning on seeing Engin…..Sultan gets upset telling her that its over and she needs to move on…..Pinar says that is not that easy to do, Sultan explains her situation and how she handled it and if she can do it Pinar can do it as well….Pinar explains she is not Sultan, she has her own thought process…Sultan changes her tone and says that she meant that Pinar is not well yet that is why she said this….Pinar gets upset and says she is going no where and walks away……she asks Karaca to keep an eye on Pinar…..
 
Ayse complains that the girls have not set up a proper breakfast, considering the fact that Zulkuf just got home from the hospital….Dicle responds here is the eggs now is it complete……Zulkuf asks the boys what their intentions or ideas are regarding employment….Ayse gets upset he is not to discuss business, that they are there for his health and the boys will be working and taking care of them from this point forward. He tells her that if he does not work he has more stress on his heart….Seyhmus says finding something in this city is not going to be easy, the other brothers agree, Zulkuf tells them since they plan on living in this city they need to get accustomed to this city…..Seyhmus says he is going to the office, that he has some things to do…..Ayse says that office is not on the way to Sultan…..Ayse is teasing him…..
 
Good morning….when we say good morning does that mean it is going to be a good day…..what are you saying, that we cannot say good morning to each other anymore, the things that you so believe in are going to become so cheap, you are then going to feel very sorry about the injustice you have done….I was unjust, the one who divorced is you, not me…..you are going to stop living as if I do not exist….you don’t exist, who says that you do….I exist in such a way, I sometimes really wonder, did you wait for that man….the man I waited for is that the same man….just because you do not know, nothing that we have been through is without reason, I wish that you would believe in me as much as I believed in you….
 
She offers the tea to the adjacent merchant, and he thanks her but tells her he does not want tea, she tells him that this is Diyarbakir tea and that it is different from Istanbul tea, she tries the other merchants and the others in the park area no one wants tea…..
 
Pinar gets caught trying to sneak out, when Karaca asks where do you think you are going, Pinar responds that the house smelled like cooking oil and she needed some air…..Karaca responds I raised two girls, I know what is going through your mind better than you do, she tells her that she is not going anywhere….
 
Francois is telling Kerim that he did nothing wrong, Kerim responds telling him that he told him that Derya is his, and a good friend would not look at his friends girlfriend the way that he did, Francois does not understand what he is talking about, he just was looking at her normally, and that if he has feelings for Derya he should go and speak with her directly…..Kerim responds telling him you know nothing about how to deal with girls, you cannot go to a girl and tell her this straight up you have to do it gradually or she will shun you, and you wait till she approaches you…..if she does not approach you then you bury your love and move on…..Francois says if she speaks to me I should ignore her, as my friend you should not talk to her until she talks to you…..
 
Turkan is badgering Mahmut about his losing his job because of everyone, and that he should go and ask them why they did this, he responds the man is ill and came here for treatment, Erkan mistreated them, and how Zulkuf should pay, she says someone has to pay and if he won’t handle it she will…..
 
Erkan’s sister comes to visit, he apparently has stopped sending her money based on their agreement, he explains to her that she has no idea on what he has been dealing with….she tells him that she is not asking for handouts, she is asking for her cut as she is entitled, this business was established by their father, Deniz tells them to speak softly, and that Erkan will handle this……
 
A young man comes and starts delivering tea to the merchants that Sultan had tried to served and they all accept…..she ask them I thought you did not want tea…..I understand….This is the way the big man gets payback……
 You have this huge establishment, and you have your eyes set on destroying others….wait what are you doing…..let her be…..Sultan Hanim be calm, is it appropriate for you to come ranting into someone else’s shop….is it appropriate for you, please forgive me, it is quite obvious that you do not know what is going on, I did not mean you, big man Erkan Bey harassing a small type tea shop is appropriate, is it appropriate to instruct all the merchants not to purchase tea from me, what kind of person are you….there is no such thing, look she is saying it herself, I have nothing better to do but play with the livelihood of others, please, the merchants are making them pay for their disgracefulness….I am being disgraceful?….yes…..look Erkan Bey I have stood with my head high (meaning being stubborn) , do you think I cannot do that to you….
 
Turkan comes to speak with Zulkuf and Ayse, she is telling him that you know what Sultan did in the 2 days that she was in Istanbul, she succeeding in ruining our established lives after all these years of hard work, and your spoiled daughter in law, first ruined your family and now she is working on mine….Zulkuf tells her to stop right there, that Sultan is a very trustworthy and believes in good justice and always has, Sultan does not ruin situations she repairs them, a person needs to be careful when choosing words….
 
Aziz comes and teasing Sultan about coming off her high pedestal….but that he is her father and is concerned about her whenever she makes a fool of herself, she tells him its obvious when I see all 32 of your teeth, and this is why a person is hesitant in even calling you father , she then asks him I thought you were leaving why are you still here…..he responds it is none of your business, I will leave when I feel it is time to leave….
 
Welcome, what is it that you want…..what could she possible want but tea, bring me one as well…..she says thank you I do not want any, but what I am really here for is to see the woman who has been holding her head up and standing firm in front of Erkan, since after all these years men have been afraid of him, I want to congratulate you….immediately upon arrival you have started to shove everyone around too….thank you but I do not understand what we have in common……what ever kind of show it was that you put on obviously she enjoyed your theatrics, if you have a photo I would like an autograph too…..actually I would like an autographed photo as well, but not from her, from you , since you are so good at thinking you have a right to interrupt, did I even say anything to you….I am Asuman…..I am Sultan…..I am Erkan’s older sister, however this is an unfortunate relationship, the only connection we have is the blood in our veins, but blood does not speak, I too have suffered at his hands and tongue….we seem to have one of those too……she is there to warn Sultan to be careful of Erkan, she then tells Aziz….good day to you too….keep pounding at her, it is because of you that she is so strong…..continue…..
 
Dicle is accusing Mehmet of playing games with her regarding their conception issues, she is using other examples of games he has played with her in order to avoid doing what she wanted….Mehmet agrees to call the hospital and make an appointment….Ayse intervenes telling him to shut the phone, that who knows what kind of doctor Dicle went to, and that Dicle is putting all the infertility issues on her son, that infertility does not exist in her family, look at her she gave birth to four sons……
 
Aziz meets with Bilal, tells him to call him father, then continues to praise Bilal for being a worthy person not like his useless older brother…..Aziz continues that it is Hatice that made Bilal a mans man….and their fate as brought them together…..Bilal thanks him, then he tells him it is good to have a father like him, who cares about his family especially in a place like this where there are so many jackals roaming around, Aziz does not understand what he means, and Bilal explains everything about the incidents that have happened to them by others since arriving including the attorney Faik…..
 
Faik goes to the house, saying that he has been un able to locate Sultan, Karaca tells him that she will be home shortly and he can come in and have coffee while he waits.
 
Aziz goes first to the handbag shop owner to discuss his wanting to sell the business, the owner says that he does not have a business for sale…Aziz offers him twice the offer that he has received, the owner tells him it does not work that way….Aziz says what do you mean, you have a business to sell, and I have the money to buy, and I am offering you twice you other offer…Aziz smells a skunk and tells him he will eventually find out what is going on….
 Can I have a tea….what are you doing here….never mind the tea, I would rather have a soda….I have no reason why you are choking me but it will eventually come to the surface, look Seyhmus you are nothing to me other from being from the same place, and thanks to you I am not a single but a divorced woman, stop hanging around me….you are right, but that situation is going to be resolved soon, can I get that soda please….if you have some time, I would like to speak with you….sure…..not here lets talk someplace else I do not want Erkan to see us….do you know the coffee house in the center of town….yes let’s meet there tomorrow around 2 in the afternoon….we will see each other tomorrow then….
 
Faik is there to discuss Pinar’s case….Karaca tells him he has to stay for dinner, he agrees on one condition that he is buying them dinner…..
 
Bilal is asking Seyhmus what is taking so long in taking care of the man who embezzled him, and almost cost them their home, Bilal is asking his permission to handle the situation himself…..Seyhmus tells him to be patient and not get involved that he is going to handle this himself, this is not a easy situation to be resolved, and to be patient he is going to take care of it……
 
Dicle is trying to make Mehmet feel guilty, but he says his hands are tied….she says it is not your fault, I cannot give birth therefore it is all my fault…..he says that he is caught in the middle between his mother and wife….she continues with the guilt words……Ayse says to Zulkuf you can see what kind of a number she is playing on my son, like I don’t realize the numbers she is pulling…..Zulkuf responds yes you know them well, you used them all on my mother, its not easy being a mother in law….
 
Faik is preparing dinner…..and they are all chit chatting…..Hatice is telling Bilal that Faik is a good person, and has done a lot to help the family and is begging him to be hospitable towards him, Bilal refuses to sit at the same table and she is not allowed to as well……I am your husband and you will obey me…..Hatice tells Karaca that they won’t be having dinner with them, Karaca tells her that when there is a male guest in the house, the man of the house should not leave them alone, if Aziz were to hear this he would cut Bilal into tiny pieces, and she wants to talk to Bilal, Hatice won’t allow this as this is the first time her husband is asking something of her and it would be inappropriate….
 
Faik jokes with them about the situation trying not to make a issue of Bilal and Hatice not joining them for dinner, explaining someone he knew where the only male in the household was a son/brother in law….that he was not looking for a divorce but wanting to quit being a son in law/brother in law…..Karaca jokes with him that he has not developed a relationship with the other men in the family, but that is because he seems to be a cold person, but in all actuality he is quite a cheerful person….the continue chatting on this topic….
 
Ayse at dinner is speaking about the children not being in school, Kerim wants to wait till he returns to Diyarbakir to continue school, Francois says that not to believe that any of them will be returning perfect example is when he and his father arrived from France it was temporary and they have still not returned….
 Kerim tells him that he will also have to start school but he has one condition that Sultan will be guardian in his education…..Ayse is tired about hearing about Sultan, she reminds them that they are now divorced and that situation is closed, that either his uncle or father will be his guardian….Francois asks if he is also going to be starting school, Seyhmus tells him they are waiting for his documents from France….
 
Faik thanks them for a lovely dinner…..she tells him he is welcome anytime, and that he should consider this his home as well…..he apparently is retuning to Diyarbakir and she says that he is lucky, he asks can I bring you something back, and she I would love it, but that won’t be possible she would like to be able to go to the shrine and pray, he says since she asked he will attempt it for her……the bid farewell…..
 
Sultan stops the young man and wants to speak with him about his delivering tea into her territory, asking him to stay in his territory and she stay in hers…..he tells her she is a woman and should be making tea at home, (she tells him a proverb which I cannot translate)….
 
Karaca is impressed with Faik, Hatice says yes he is very nice, but Bilal cannot stand him, Pinar says that is because of Seyhmus, and that Faik is in love with Sultan….and they continue on this conversation….regarding men and whether or not they understand the true value of women…..
 
Kibar calls telling Aziz he misses him, but actually he is looking for more money, Aziz tells him he will have to call him back he is busy right now…..he comes to place the wedding gift on her wrist…..he tries to tell them it is his duty to perform the actions expected of the father of the bride, but obviously they have forgotten their manners….Karaca goes off on him telling him she does not know what he is up to, but the old Karaca is gone, she is your daughter, you brought your gift now you can leave….
 
Pinar asks Tarik for help in getting able to see to Engin……Diyar teases Tarik about his relationship with Pinar….she offers to help any way she can….he uses Diyar to convince Sultan that the three of them, Diyar, Tarik and Pinar are going to be together sightseeing……
 
Aziz and come to see Zulkuf with an offer that even he is surprised that he will be making…..Zulkuf tells him whenever you offer something, we end up with problems therefore before hearing the offer he refuses up front….Aziz tries to convince them since they are from the same part of Turkey that they can only trust each other being in a strange city…..Ayse tells him they would be better off dealing with strangers than dealing with him, everything he has done is the past is still not forgotten, she gives him advice and tells him to return to Diyarbakir….he replies that he would without batting an eye, but Karaca won’t return, he has no business being in Istanbul since it is know for being the last stop for losers, but he corrects himself by saying except for medical reasons, your reasons for being here are different….Aziz swears that he has changed and that no one believes him….
 
The owner of the handbag shop tells them that he truly wants to sell them the business but he is hesitant because of Erkan, he continues that he is going to sell them the business and return back to his village, under all the same conditions except that Erkan is not to hear anything about this until the transfer is complete…..
 
Ayse is talking to Karaca….about how she felt sorry for Aziz, and it is obvious he is sorry and has changed….Karaca reminds her that she is sure that he has a ulterior motive….Ayse tells her he is her husband, and she would be more comfortable to return with him….then they start bickering at each other regarding their comfort and financial situation…..at the end Karaca accuses Ayse of wanting to get rid of Aziz that is why she is talking to her about reconciling and getting out of Istanbul…..
 
Seyhmus goes to find the admission office, Kerim sees the notice for football signups, he says he came to Istanbul to play football, it is the center of the football universe….Deniz is a teacher in the school, Seyhmus asks if she remembers him, and she says how can I forget after that scene….he tells her that all is not what it seems….Kerim introduces him as Francois father…and she asks where is Francois aren’t you registering him for school, he explains that they are waiting for documentation from France….she says you can bring those in later, he should be registered as well so not too lose too much time….
 
Francois wants to know why he cannot go to school, he is told to be patient his father is going to take care of everything…..
 
Aziz meets Ayse as she returning from speaking to Karaca, she tells him she is sorry she tried to intervene, that Karaca had a lot to say and that he has something up his sleeve, then she told her off for intervening….
 she tells him to take care of his own problems without involving them……he says he does not understand….
 
Take it easy…she says a prayer….he says why pray I have a couple of good things to say, we took my father to the doctor….he is well….yes he is well, but need to stay as guests here for a while longer…..we are all guests here, let Istanbul be hospitable to us, if your second pieces of news is this good, I am going to give you a soda on the house….I registered Kerim at the neighborhood school…..he now can be registered without me, of course he has gotten bigger, that’s life everything changes…..no, things don’t change that much, he wanted you it took me a while to convince him, there are other things that do not change, the case is over, why is Faik always around you, do you have an explanation…..what explanation could I have, you yourself are saying that the case is over, we are divorced, I swear I am embarrassed….I am not at all embarrassed, a strange man is going to come to you house in the nighttime hours and I am going to just standby and watch, why are you defending the attorney…..why would I be defending the attorney to you, like the man has done something wrong, the person who did something wrong should think about this….you are accepting it, what is it that you are insinuating you think that you know that man, but you don’t, did he fall out of the sky, don’t make me talk, don’t you think you should ask yourself where did this man come from….wherever he came from he came from, like I have nothing else to do but this about Seyhmus and Faik….stop yelling, do not yell when you are speaking to me….do you see that man, he is playing with my livelihood, he is not allowing me to sell anything, I do not want anything from anyone enough….
 
Seyhmus goes to talk to Erkan who ignores him, he warns him to be professional, that if he is not cautious his actions will eventually turn around and come back to bite him back….Erkan tells him that he has been a merchant in the area for many years, and he has not intentions of associating with him and reducing himself to his level….Seyhmus tells him your reputation must have also been part of your inheritance from your father along with this restaurant…he then turns to the patrons and asked them if they are obeying this man and not patronizing Sultan’s shop, that they are all sorry souls….Erkan tells Seyhmus that there are rules in the HAN and some woman cannot come from Diyarbakir and decide to do thing her way, there are rules, and if they are not followed they are to leave and go back to wenst they came….Sultan intervenes and tells them to stop talking, just because she is a woman does she not have a brain, she tells them she does not want anything from them not their support or their shackle….you can not just come and yell your peace and walk away….I do not want anything from anyone, especially from you I want nothing, I left from Diyarbakir and that was not enough….I told you this morning it is not enough….She then turns to the people and asks them what are they all starring at, if the enjoyed the show…..
 
She starts serving tea to everyone….the man at the cart says thank you but business is bad, she says its bad for us all but this is on the house….
 
Kerim does not like his new school….Francois explains that he saw Derya today, that they waved to each other, Kerim tells him to be cautious today in Istanbul when some one waves at you tomorrow they will be stabbing you in the back….Francois tells him that Derya does not seem to be that type of person….Kerim asks him did you wave back, and Francois says yes, Kerim tells him that men do not wave at women, its inappropriate……
 
Aziz is intoxicated and he is using this behavior to try and remind Karaca of their youth and where they would meet, but everything he says is incorrect, those were the days, the had no money, but would spend hours together talking and just spending time together…..he starts talking about private situations, and she tries to quite him down, Sultan finally gets him inside…claiming he is not intoxicated….the all sit on the stairs…a mans place is beside his wife, he needs to stay by here, it is what a man does, everything I did I did because I thought it was the right thing to do, not to hurt you, I thought by doing those things I was doing what I thought was best for my children…..he continues his rambling….and then starts singing…..
 
He returns to being Aziz complaining about where they had him sleep, that they have not even offered him breakfast, that they are being rude, Karaca tells him to leave once again, and he asks her one last time if she is going to leave with him, and she says no, he says he is returning to Diyarbakir…..
 
Sultan is congratulating the other merchants for bowing down to the demands of Erkan, destroying her dream, but warns them all to be careful, because that crow will eventually start to peck on them as well….she is surprised to see Faik, and asks him why he keeps just appearing out of no where, he responds saying that someone like him to does so much good for people why wouldn’t anyone be happy to see him, she tells him she would offer him tea, but it is not fresh…..and that he heard that she is going to have to find a new job, Diyarbakir does not move as fast as Istanbul obviously, he tells her that she has obviously missed Diyarbakir and that she needs to come with him as he has brought her a surprise from Diyarbakir….
 
Pinar is telling Engin that he keeps trying all these things to get attention and also in the hopes that he cannot be saved….he responds that they always save me thought, the only person that was late was you, she tells him that she was not late, that she did not want to come on purpose, for the same reasons that she went to Diyarbakir, she is telling him to be able to allow him to do what he wants alone and comfortably, if he chooses to die then to die, if he chooses to live then to live, she did not want to know or see what it is that he is doing, thinking that being away from him that she would be able to love again, fall in love again, have someone love her in a different manner…he asks did it happen did you fall in love with someone else….she tells him yes, so much so that it hurt so bad, so bad that she once again sought solace from him, but now because of him she cannot even think of the other person, the pain that she feels she cannot differentiate if it is you or him, she does not know…..they are been friends since they were very young, and always been there for each other, but they are not good for each other…..she tells him to just think of her as never existing that they have never met……
 
Francois shows Kerim where Derya lives….they are playing a game flipping shoes hoping that eventually she will come out as well…..
 
Mehmet is taking inventory for the handbag shop, he tells Sheymus that he is starting the inventory count and he will call him when he is finished…..
 
Faik takes Sultan to a shrine and tells her they exist all over, each one having its own benefits for the people, some healing, some bring hoping, she reminds him of the shrine in Diyarbakir….he brought some of the dirt from Sultan Seyhmus for her…..she tells him that now she wants to pray, but she does this out loud, so if he could leave, but if he intends to pray for the person he loves Ani than he would not be hearing what she was saying anyway…he walks away……

I have come before you, I come from Diyarbakir, there I would visit the shrine of Sultan Seyhmus, I would go there and pray and now as fate with have it I am here, I bow before you
 
Deniz explains to Seyhmus that the children got into a confrontation with other children, Derya saw them, and she took them in and they showered there as to avoid problems at home, but she does not think it is anything other than bullying, she also compliments Francois for being a gentlemen, where he got this characteristic from????….what happened son…..someone poured soda on our heads, but do not tell them….ok son….you speak French so well…..that is because I lived in France, actually I had to stay in France, also I would like to thank you, I would never think that, that man Erkan would have such a polite family member…..are you saying this, interesting for sure….bids farewell…..
 
Zulkuf apologizes to Mahmut for losing his job because of them…..Mahmut tells him it was meant to be and not to worry about it, Zulkuf tells him that he cannot leave him out in the cold, and that tomorrow they are taking over the handbag shop and that he can come and work there……Mahmut agrees with hesitation as they are such a large family…Zulkuf tells him not to worry about that……Turkan tells him that this is what happens when you become desperate, you are given scraps thrown out by others…..
 
Sultan picks up a cheese biscuit on her way home, the cart merchant offers her tea telling her that they go well together….she blesses him for reminding her of that….and thanks him…..
 
She goes home and is telling everyone that once leaving the shrine obviously it was the right decision to go there, as she was blessed by the idea of serving biscuits with her tea….They are saying how ideas are plenty in Istanbul, and Sultan is saying that with the biscuits she is not going to have enough time to even brew the tea…..Karaca is pleased and says that they can do this every night make 3-4 pans of biscuits…..Sultan asks Pinar how her day went with Tarik….Pinar explains that she went to see Engin and that she got it all out, told him everything that she has bottled up inside…..Sultan decides to call Dicle because the power goes out for assistance…..
 
Kibar once again calls Aziz he is lonely, he is left in Diyarbakir alone…..he is blackmailing Aziz that he keeps dreaming about the fire…..
 Sultan brings the biscuits to Dicle so that they can be baked….As Sultan walks in she sees Seyhmus asleep on the couch, Dicle tells Sultan after receiving her call she did not want to wake him otherwise he would be underfoot….Sultan is concerned that Seyhmus might hear the noise and wake up, Dicle is more concerned if Ayse wakes up….Ayse asks what are they doing up at this house, she says she could not sleep and came to get a glass of milk, and Dicle says she came to get Mehmet a glass of water….Ayse notices the biscuits, and asks what is going on…..Dicle said she thought she would make some biscuits….she is teasing Dicle for pretending to have a headache all day and not do anything, and then cooking in the middle of the night….then a light bulb goes off in Ayse’s head thinking that Dicle has a craving…..maybe she is pregnant….they all agree they thought the same thing…..Ayse tells Dicle next time think twice before accusing my son……
 
Seyhmus what are you doing have you lost your mind…..yes I have lost my mind, seeing you the moment that I wake up, I have really missed you…..the biscuits are burning!!!!!…stop yelling I am going to take care of this….quiet don’t yell…..what happened, all the biscuits have burned now what am I going to do sell tomorrow…..calm down we will think of something…..you are now asking what am I doing here….

Karaca bring something over to Ayse that she likes and tells her that she has nothing to worry about regarding Bilal….Ayse says I don’t have any problems with Hatice, and I never has any issues with Sultan either you know that, but as fate would have it…..when you need to hang laundry please hang them here, its a huge yard, and we are neighbors and they start again comparing their different ways in drying their laundry…the house next door was for rent, but you missed it, they are saying that it has been already rented….Karaca as she is leaving notices Aziz in the house…..
 
Is this OK Erkan Bey, has everything turned out the way you wanted it too, what are you going to do with the wretched people….that does not concern you, you now go to the accounting office and leave without being seen through the back door….
