ADAM: If you're expecting the return of Felicia Day's Charlie on the April 24 episode to be as much fun as the LARP-ing episode, prepare yourself for something a little different. "We've become very familiar with Charlie's sarcasm, [but] I think [this] really gives us an opportunity to go a bit deeper," executive producer Jeremy Carver says. "Although there will be some geeky fun as Dean tries to teach Charlie how to be a demon hunter, she's also carrying a deep secret that could get her killed. "The boys start to uncover many, many layers of Charlie... and it's ultimately a really rather emotional [episode]. It certainly resonates with the boys." (източник)

Supernatural loves to bring back guest stars, but this year the show is digging way back for a rather surprising return in an upcoming episode.

According to TVLine, Taylor Cole will return to Supernatural in the penultimate episode of season 8, "Clip Show." If you don't remember (and let's be honest, you probably don't unless you're an obsessive fanatic), Cole played art dealer Sarah Blake in season 1's "Provenance," a woman who helped the boys hunt down a haunted painting. She also liked Sam and he even kissed her, though she hasn't been seen or mentioned since.

TVLine also spoke to executive producer Jeremy Carver who joked that the episode will, as you may have guessed from the title, consist entirely of "flashback moments to our favorite hugs and kisses." It will also include several other familiar faces whose return is "somewhat related to the trials, and not in a very good way."

This news will undoubtedly cause fans to speculate about what other former lovers of the Winchesters might come back in the episode. Either way, the thought of doing back into the show's history to see memorable scenes, now with new footage, is a nifty way to do a clip show episode.

To get the ball rolling, here's a quick rundown of past romances of Sam and Dean I would like to see come back in flashback form.

Sam's Lovers

Jessica (Adrianne Palicki): The first girl we saw Sam with, and the one who was burned on the ceiling just like his mom, it's impossible to talk about Sam's love life without mentioning her. She was last seen at the start of season 5, with Lucifer posing as her in Sam's dreams.

Metatron (guest star Curtis Armstrong) enlists Cass to mull over problems at home. Meanwhile, Crowley (guest star Mark Sheppard) digs into Sam and Dean’s past.

‘SUPERNATURAL’: MEETING METATRON
Supernatural has introduced us to a number of mega-angels over the years but one of the most important introductions (at least in terms of this season) is still on the horizon.
In “The Great Escapist,” airing May 1, we’ll finally meet archangel Metatron (Curtis Armstrong), the angel rumored to be the scribe of God. The problem? “Metatron is a recluse and not by accident,” says executive producer Jeremy Carver. “So it’s going to be something of a chore to yank him from the life he has become accustomed. He’s not exactly a willing participant.”
Meanwhile, the exact nature of Sam’s mysterious trial-caused ailments will start to become a little clearer, but as a result, we’ll find ourselves asking “what kind of effect this has on him not just physically but emotionally,” says Carver. “The weaker Sam gets, the more Dean has to stand up, and I think both boys are going to have to grapple with some very, very big things that happen in these last four episodes.”

Bonus scoop: May 8′s episode entitled “Clip Show” is not going to be what Carver jokingly describes as “your typical, 1980s, trapped-in-an-elevator greatest moments.” So what IS the reason for the episode title? “I think part of the fun of the title is understanding just what the title means over the course of watching the episode. So I’ll leave it at that,” he says. So are we in store for a lighter, fun episode? “I don’t know. Call me afterwards,” he says with a laugh. “I don’t think you’re going to say it was fun. I would say it’s pretty earth-shaking in a way. [It's] fun in an edge-of-your-seat way.”
