Oще едно ревю на тази страхотна книга. Пускам тук само крайната оценка на авторката:

In short: if you’re looking for information on character growth from the showrunners and analyses of particular episodes, the season companions are your friends. If, however, you’re interested in gorgeous photography (the season companions are sadly black and white), extras you can’t find on the internet (trust me, you can’t find them on the internet), some interesting photos of the set design and art design that you can’t really see elsewhere, then yes, this is for you. It’s a gorgeous book, a visual pleasure to peruse – but in terms of words and ideas, the more interesting stuff could be had elsewhere.

Така е, права е. Книгата е наистина повече за снимки и като резюме, отколкото за детайлна информация, но такава ѝ е идеята поначало. И доставя истинско удоволствие Flutter . Препоръчвам я на всички и не мога да си представя колекцията си без нея.

PRE-FINALE EPISODES
Скрит текст:
Sam may look strong, but he's at his lowest point. "The further along in the trials, the worse he feels," previews executive producer Jeremy Carver. That "culminating" effect is "explored in more detail as we move forward." The tests also have another unexpected consequence: They're somehow related — and "not in a very good way" — to several blasts from the past, including the return of Taylor Cole's art gallery owner Sarah Blake. On the angel front, Cas is back with "protecting the tablet and Heaven very much at the forefront of his mind," while the Winchesters seek the help of Metatron (played by Moonlighting's Curtis Armstrong), the reclusive scribe of God. As for Sam and Dean, who didn't start the season on the same page but became united in their goal to close the gates of Hell, the brothers are "going to start to really ask themselves and deal with all sides of the question of, 'How far are you willing to go to get revenge?'"

MAY 15 SEASON FINALE
Скрит текст:
As the boys' quest and the mytharc escalates, "There are a lot of intersecting plots and personal motivations that are going to come to a head," teases Carver, adding that "several things will be changed forever." Could one new mythology element introduced this season, the Men of Letters, be a part of the finale? After all, it seems Abaddon is back. Plus, Carver tells TVLine, "We will absolutely see the positive and negative effects of being legacies." And yes, there will be "a few" cliffhangers, so prepare yourselves for a long summer.

Important news: Jared Padalecki gets a haircut and other stuff happens

There are zero things we like talking about more than Jared Padalecki's hair, so when we found out that Sam Winchester got a haircut at some point before next week's episode of "Supernatural," we obviously had to stop everything we were doing and investigate.

We can now confirm that Padalecki has had an encounter with some scissors. Whether it's an upgrade or downgrade is in the eye of the beholder. Personally, we have this theory about fine wine that we're working on.

Oh, right. There's some other stuff going on in this clip from "Pac-Man Fever" too. Felicia Day returns as everyone's favorite geek, Charlie Bradbury, but now that she's had a few run-ins with the Winchesters, she's basically an old pro. When she brings the boys a new case, she's already done a lion's share of the research... and that involved getting into some uncomfortable territory for the Winchester boys.

Maybe Sam's new haircut will help his luck in the romance department.

The 14 Greatest Loves of Dean Winchester’s Life

#14 Anna Milton
Yeah, she went bad and tried to kill his entire family, but Anna has one thing other women don’t: a night of passion with Dean in the backseat of the Impala. That’s not something he gives to just anyone.

#13 Dr. Sexy M.D.
Dean might act macho, but one of his greatest loves is a guilty pleasure: the TV show Dr. Sexy M.D. In “Changing Channels" we learned that Dean knows almost everything about the show and blushes like a school girl when in the presence of the star.

#12 Cassie Robinson
Back in season 1’s “Route 666" we met Dean’s first love, Cassie, and the first love is one you never forget.

#11 Classic Rock
You can keep your wussy music because Dean has classic rock, a musical genre he loves so much that nearly every one of his aliases is the name of a legendary rock musician.

#10 Bacon Cheeseburgers
You can keep your salads and your lobsters. If Dean is ever on death row, his last meal will certainly be the one thing he loves to eat more than anything: a giant bacon cheeseburger, the greasier the better.

#9 Carmen Porter
She might not be real, but when a djinn sent Dean to a fantasy world, this is the woman he envisioned. Of course, it turned out she was just the girl pictured on a bottle of beer. Which brings us to…

#8 Beer
If anyone deserves it, it’s Dean, but the man loves to drink, as proven in “Sam Interrupted" when he told his hallucinatory psychiatric nurse that he has around 50 or 60 drinks per week.

#7 Saving People
While he acts like he almost resents it, deep down, it’s obvious that Dean loves saving people. Whether it’s his family or the world, you don’t consistently do something so dangerous unless you love it.

#6 Jo Harvelle
While he didn’t realize it until it was too late, Jo really was the perfect woman for Dean. Luckily, as she died, he finally realized how much she meant to him.

#5 Kicking Demon Ass
Stopping the Apocalypse and saving innocent people is nice, but Dean’s true love is the action. Getting into a fight, kicking a demon’s butt and taking out his frustrations on evil sprits is his idea of a great time.

#4 Strippers
Even with the world coming down around him, Dean always has time for some scantily clad women taking off their clothes for him. The fact that strip clubs also combine two of Dean’s other great passions (beer and classic rock) doesn’t hurt.

#3 Lisa Braeden
Picking the one love of Dean’s life isn’t easy, but we’re picking Lisa. First seen in season 3’s “The Kids Are Alright," she was an old girlfriend Dean found who now had a kid. While Ben wasn’t Dean’s son, he acted a lot like Dean, and it gave him the opportunity to fantasize about a happy, normal life with a wife and a rugrat. Later in season 3 Lisa was in Dean’s mind for a romantic picnic, proving that she is literally the woman of Dean’s dreams.

#2 His Family
He may not always like them or get along with them, but Dean loves his family more than anyone else. He’ll do anything for his brother, he has unending respect for his father and he practically worships his mother.

#1 The Impala
Dean may love the ladies and his family, but his greatest love of all is easily his car, the 1967 Chevy Impala. If it were legal, we would’ve made her Mrs. Impala Winchester a long time ago.

Леко спойлерско интервю с Джереми Карвър:

Supernatural Showrunner Jeremy Carver on Returning Characters, Sam's Trials and Season 8's End
What to expect as the season comes to a close.

As Supernatural nears the conclusion of Season 8 (having already been renewed for Season 9), I had the chance to speak to executive producer/showrunner Jeremy Carver. Carver talked about the recent appearance by Bobby (Jim Beaver), this week’s return of Charlie (Felicia Day), Sam’s trials and more.

[…]

IGN: This next episode has Charlie coming back. Can you talk about this third go around and what brings her back into their lives?
Carver: Yeah, I think Charlie has been one of our favorite recurring characters as of late. I think what’s so exciting about this episode coming up, episode 8.20, is that we really get a much deeper insight into her and her past and her character. You’re always going to have a certain amount of humor when it comes to Charlie, but we get a tremendous amount of hardened emotion in this upcoming episode that I think folks are going to enjoy, as Sam and Dean peel back the many layers of Charlie.
IGN: Really for anyone who’s not Sam or Dean on this show, it can be pretty dangerous, and some people are around for a pretty short amount of time. But it’s been particularly tough to have a female character that’s stuck around for quite awhile. Are you hoping to possibly change that going forward, whether it be Charlie or someone else?
Carver: Well, we had another female character that stuck around for awhile, and that was Meg -- and you see what happened to her. But yeah, what can I say? Charlie, to me, is a character who brings a breath of fresh air into the show. Male or female, I think you always want to see someone like that come back for more.

IGN: Sam has one more trial left. With a handful of episodes this season, going into the finale, will we learn more about this trial before then, or will that be revealed in the finale itself?
Carver: We’re in a situation here, whether people realize it or not, we’re at a bit of a crossroads here. The boys have two trials down, and Kevin’s fate is rather uncertain here at the end of episode 19. So the idea of finding out about this third trial is very much on the forefront of their minds and something that we’ll be dealing with well before the finale as well.
IGN: Should we take Crowley at his word about Kevin’s mother being dead?
Carver: That’s an excellent question, and I think we can. I mean, you have no choice until Crowley says differently... in Season 14. [Laughs]

IGN: Dean’s seeing a lot of crises for the people around him with Sam, with Castiel. What will Dean’s role be as these things are occurring to these people that he cares so much about?
Carver: The way you asked that is a little bit tough for me to answer, aside from the fact that the boys, they started this season very much -- they were coming from different positions at the beginning of the season. The other thing that really united them was this shared sense of revenge. So I think what Dean and Sam are both going to have to contend with as they march towards the end here is, how far are they willing to go to get this revenge? Because things get pretty hairy.

IGN: Misha [Collins] will be back next season as a regular. Castial, though, he’s gone through a lot, and he’s had a lot of different situations to deal with. Is there any hope for Cas to finally get back to his old, more centered self or - as centered as he can be, with everything that’s going on?
Carver: One can hope. I think Cas is also one of those snakebit guys whose appreciation of humanity, as it develops over several years, has knocked him off stride a bit. It’s a case of the “best intentions can lead to the worst consequences.” It sounds like something he should have said one day, but I’m certain you can find someone who’s quoted around that somewhere. Yeah, I think it’s quoted like a stitch pillow from my grandmother’s house. I don’t know. I’m sorry, Eric! [Laughs]
IGN: [Laughs] No worries. As you said, Castiel, he’s always learning about humanity. If he saw a stitch pillow, he might recite something off of it.
Carver: Exactly. “Home sweet home” and all of that.

IGN: It’s very interesting to hear about the return of Sarah Blake from Season 1, because that’s obviously reaching far into the show’s history. So can you talk specifically about bringing that character back and how that came about?
Carver: Well, let me speak in a more general sense, and I’ll give you a little bit of a tease and say that she’s not the only blast from the past to return in the last several episodes. These reappearances are related somewhat to the trials, and not in a good way.
IGN: So it won’t necessarily be a happy reunion for her and Sam?
Carver: I can tell you that -- I’m gonna dodge that one, but she’s not the furthest back we’re going. We’ve got eight years here.
[Note: Since this interview was conducted Zap2It’s Carina Adly MacKenzie has revealed two more returning characters in this season's 22nd episode, "Clip Show."]

IGN: Yes you do. Has it been fun for you this season to introduce the Men of Letters and also specifically to give them a headquarters, which they’ve never really had? Bobby’s place was kind of the only way station, or going back, the Roadhouse. Is it nice for you to give them a place where they can sometimes actually settle in?
Carver: I love it. I think on just a pure fun sense, I think it’s a really neat thing. I think it’s a wonderful, emotional callback to this side of the family that they never knew. I think it reignited Sam’s passion for hunting, in terms of finding his place in the family tree, as it were. I think the place itself is a wonderful repository of information, a trove of records and different types of record-keeping, which we’re going to see come into play in the last several episodes. I think on an emotional level for both the boys, they’ve never really had any place like you hinted at, that they could call home or their own. I think the idea in episode 14, where Dean was decorating his room, that carried real emotional weight for him. They haven’t been able to do that in a long, long time. Yeah, I’m very happy with the Men of Letters, the whole idea of it.

IGN: Supernatural will sometimes end seasons really tying up that year's arc, while perhaps leaving a big question mark for next season, while other times it’s more of a straight up cliffhanger. This year, any hints as far as what direction to expect?
Carver: I think you’re going to see a little bit of both. I think you’re going to see some storylines absolutely resolved, and some definite “OMG” cliffhangers.
IGN: I’m always curious about Chuck and if we might see him again. Any chance of that?
Carver: Um... I can’t comment on Chuck.
