Food and drink had to be the perfect expression of opulence and luxury, while jugglers had to be in their best shape and not ruin their representations. Being an orgy planner wasn't the best job in the world as not everyone liked you. The most popular orgy planner was Gaius Petronius who wrote the satirical book about Roman debauchery called “Satyricon”.
